Brewery
Food & Drink
The Coors Brewery Tour in Golden, Colorado offers free tours and tastings, providing visitors with a glimpse into the rich history of the area. The brewery is situated in a valley that was once discovered by farmers for its fertile soil. As one of America's popular beer producers since 1873, the Coors Brewery stands as the largest single-site brewery globally. During the tour, guests can witness the intricate brewing process from barley malting to fermentation and aging.
If you plan to go make sure to get online 25 days prior. Reservations are released daily. I didn’t realize it would be so booked and we almost missed out. Luckily, we were able to get on the waitlist and checked hourly for cancellations. Otherwise, we loved the experience. We plan on going back for our oldest’s 21st birthday ◡̈ I’ve always been a Coors drinker and it was cool having 3 tastings direct from the source.
Salina K — Google review
We really enjoyed this tour! Very unique and interesting learning about the products we never knew Coors Brewery created! The tastings were enjoyed as well! We had a funny newly married tour guide named Mark, he really made our experience memorable!
Ruth K — Google review
The Coors Brewery tour in Colorado was amazing! The beer was unbelievably fresh and delicious—truly unlike anything you can get elsewhere. The staff made the experience even better; they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. If you’re a beer lover (or just want a fun and unique experience), this is absolutely worth the trip!
John M — Google review
Diane was a phenomenal tour guide! We enjoyed the experience while hearing some great history and learning some of the "how" Coors has grown over the 150 years. We recommend this your as it was informative, fun, and if you like Coors, we received 3 samples too! The gift shop has some unique Coors items as a bonus.
Mike N — Google review
Had a great time at the Coors Brewery tour. The tour lasts about an hour and they give you three samplers along the way. They talk through the history of Coors, how they brew their beer, distribution and manufacturing. Our guide was great and he welcomed and answered any questions along the way. Only downside was some of the corporate "greenwashing" that felt a bit forced by our tour guide which could have been skipped. If you're stopping by golden you are already headed to the Coors tour so you don't need my opinion, but it's a fun tour and highly recommended.
Matt B — Google review
As a beer lover, I've done a number of brewery tours over the years. But touring Coors in Golden, CO was like the holy grail. It's the largest single site brewery IN THE WORLD!! The tour was very informative, not just about the brewery and the brewing process, but also about Coors' history. AND there are beer samples throughout the tour. However, even if you don't like beer, I highly recommend it.
Jamie G — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coors Brewery – Golden, Colorado Even though we weren’t able to take the full tour (it was booked out two weeks), visiting the hospitality lounge and exhibits was more than worth it. What made it truly special wasn’t just the history of beer and the creative displays—it was the heart behind it all. Seeing the Semper Fidelis Award presented to Peter H. Coors for his dedication to community, family, and country spoke volumes. The fact that he’s not only the chairman, but also a man who served this nation, added a whole new layer of respect. On our way out, we even overheard employees sharing how Peter still stops by to greet the staff—that kind of humility and presence is rare in leadership today. Between the veteran memorials, folded flags, challenge coins, and that deep sense of loyalty and gratitude, Coors showed us it’s more than just a brewery. It’s a place where history, service, and community come together—and that’s why this visit will stay with us. From two veterans: we salute you. 🇺🇸
Jason T — Google review
A good experience. Our tour guide Hines was pretty knowledgeable and was great. I wished the tour had views of the can or bottle making process. That would have made the trip worth it. The three beers included were nice.

Pizza restaurant

Woody's Wood-Fired Pizza is a long-standing pizza parlor in Golden, CO known for its award-winning status. The restaurant offers a cheery ambiance with outdoor seating and an all-day soup/salad and pizza buffet. The semolina-and-honey crust pizzas are expertly made with generous toppings, making it a favorite among locals. The rustic wood-paneled dining space creates a casual sports bar atmosphere, complete with dim lighting and TVs at the bar area.
What a fun place! Staff was amazing too 👏 We got the all you can eat buffet that included salad bar, soup and pizza. We also tried several local beers that were delicious. The soup was beer cheese potato and it was delicious! Especially for dipping your pizza crust 😉 I loved every kind of pizza we tried but the hot honey ricotta with basil was my favorite. Even though it's buffet style you can order any pizza and they will make it and call it over the intercom for you to run up and grab a piece. You can also order personal pizzas and tons of other menu items like wings, burgers and sandwiches. They also have a ton of different alcoholic drinks to choose from. We opted for the buffet because it was the same price as each of us ordering a personal pizza. The wait was not terribly long for table either, we sat at the bar and were half way through our beers when we were seated. This was a really fun experience that I recommend for families and pizza lovers ❤️
Megan P — Google review
I love Woody's!! Every time I am in Golden, I make sure that this is an item on the itinerary. The all-you-can-eat pizza and salad buffet is a classic choice, but there are also lots of other menu options to explore. The wood-fired pizza is made with Colorado-style tucked-under crust, and each table comes equipped with some local clover honey to top it off. The staff is always super friendly, and it seems like the place runs very efficiently. The atmosphere is busy but cozy, with booth and table seating, eccentric Colorado-themed decorations, indoor and outdoor seating, a bar, and even trivia nights! Woody's is super popular, so there is almost always a wait for a table around dinnertime. Definitely show up early and get on the wait list. I like to walk around town and get ice cream before dinner! All members of your group must be present before you will be seated. The prices are slightly steep, but it appears they do pay their workers fairly, as there is a line item on the receipt for a "fair wages fee" or something along those lines. Additionally, the food is so yummy and nostalgic that it is worth the price.
Leah B — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit to Woody’s! The salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, and there was always a great variety of hot, fresh pizzas coming out. We appreciated that new kinds were rotated in regularly—not just the same ones over and over. Our favorite was the Buffalo chicken pizza—we’d come back just for a whole pie of that! The beer cheese soup was also a standout. We dipped our pizza in it and loved every bite. Great spot all around!
Brooke W — Google review
Went here Thursday, August 28, and at 6:43 p.m., ordered for take-out at Window D their "Backpack" pizza, regular crust. I twice said small but the order taker asked for the price of a large. Either she put it in wrong, or was trying to pocket $10. The pizza was ok, but nothing special. We ate it on the back porch which was sort of nice, after a rainstorm, but no view. I went inside for a moment and was amazed people wanted to be crammed in like that. Leaving town we drove past the Golden Mill, which I did not know about before, and I now wish we had gone there instead.
Seth W — Google review
Great food made with the beat ingredients. Hords of folks show up for the pizza, but I like the "Hobo", or Philly Chease steak. We come here for the awesome dog friendly outside seating. This place is allways busy but they manage the people and all the pups very well. They love dogs and Anna took great care of us.
Mark S — Google review
Kaleh was our server yesterday. We sat outside, it was such a beautiful day. The pizza buffet was Amazing! Not a fan of the Bloody Mary Mix, the toppings were great! KALEH was so good with our little girl. That is always a plus with dining out with Children!

So good! Woody’s was awesome! The salad bar, beer cheese soup, and pizza buffet were all really good. Local, laid-back vibe. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, located in Golden, Colorado, is a park-based tribute to the legendary cowboy and his impact on the American West. The museum offers exhibits showcasing Buffalo Bill's life as a skilled buffalo hunter, his transition to showbiz with the Wild West shows, and his lasting legacy. Visitors can enjoy beautiful mountain views from Lookout Mountain where the museum is situated.
Spent the day at the Buffalo Bill Museum + Grave, and it felt like stepping into the pages of all the Western stories I grew up loving. The sights, the stories, the spirit of the frontier—brought back so many memories of dusty trails, cowboy legends, and a time when the West was still wild. A truly unforgettable visit. Loved it! Wish the gift shop was open.

Great little museum that highlights Buffalo Bill, his shows and his positive impact on the people around him. Great displays of saddles, cloths, guns and guns from his colorful life. Cost is very reasonable and The Cody burial site (he and his wife) is just a short walk up the hill.
Simon R — Google review
The museum was interesting and the tickets were extremely reasonable at $5/piece. Gives you access to real bathrooms as well, which was better than the porta potty options outside. The museum had a lot to see and read, along with the gravesite outside. Spent about 30-45 minutes here. The view was nice from up there as well.

I was driving along I-70 W from Denver when I spotted the sign for Buffalo Bill’s Grave and decided to take a spontaneous detour . One of the best road trip decisions I’ve made! The drive up Lookout Mountain took about 10 minutes and I even made a quick stop for amazing ground coffee at Et Voila French Bakery nearby. There’s no admission fee to visit the grave and the site has plenty of free parking. You can easily walk around or just stop at one of the scenic overlooks for a breathtaking 360 degree view of the mountains and Denver below. It’s immediately clear why Buffalo Bill himself wanted to be buried here the view alone is worth the trip. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to visit the museum, but the historic grave, the peaceful setting and the panoramic views made it absolutely worthwhile. A real piece of American history, beautifully preserved and easy to access. Perfect quick stop for anyone traveling along I-70! Tip: Bring a camera — the views and the monument are incredibly photogenic.
Lior M — Google review
Happened to see the sign for this when traveling to Idaho Springs so I went to take a look & was not disappointed! I had heard the name Buffalo Bill but certainly did not know what an impact he had on this area. it was a lot of fun to explore the museum and see the mountain towns from the overlook.
A K — Google review
Very cool little museum. Tons of personal artifacts from the Cody family and lots of good Buffalo Bill history. Wish the gift shop and cafe were still open. Good little stop outside of Denver and you can explore the Denver Mountain parks.
Jonathan W — Google review
Before visiting I had a good idea of who Buffalo Bill was but after visiting here. Wow, this guy was something truly amazing and lived quite the life. The museum had a ton of amazing artifacts, guns, Native American artifacts and even stuff to keep the tweens busy. I would visit again if I come back to Golden again. Highly suggest checking this out and the view is quite amazing up there! 😎
Chip E — Google review
Our first trip to Denver, and this was a must see. The museum is quiet, clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the museum and the surrounding area. The view was breathtaking, literally. If you have ANY sort of fear of heights at all, I don't recommend the trip up, or the lookout area. For us though, it was great and I do think everyone that can handle the height should experience this.

Specialty Museums
The Colorado Railroad Museum, located in Golden near Clear Creek, is a sprawling indoor-outdoor history museum dedicated to the state's rich railroad heritage. Established in 1959, the museum resembles an 1880s railroad depot and houses a diverse collection of exhibits including a reconstructed telegraphers office and a detailed model-scale representation of Colorado's rail history.
We had an amazing time at the Colorado Railroad Museum! It was our first time there, and we were blown away by the working trains. The museum was beautifully laid out, with lots of cars and engines to explore. Even if you’re a train enthusiast, there’s a library there too! The grounds were well-maintained and easy to navigate. The train ride, though not very long, was a lovely and relaxing experience in vintage cars. It was super interesting and relaxing. The turntable and repair shop were very informative and super cool. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There were plenty of things for the kids to do, including a special car just for them. The model trains were also very entertaining and made for a great setting. If you’re in the Denver area, you absolutely must visit this museum!
Eddie H — Google review
Cool trains on the property and a fun stop overall. We were supposed to ride the steam engine, but due to a staff shortage they ran the Galloping Goose instead. It was still a neat experience, but I wish they had let us know ahead of time that the steam engine wasn’t operating. The ride itself loops around the property about three times—fun for kids, though a bit underwhelming for adults. The highlight for us was the downstairs train room—really impressive and definitely worth checking out. We also got to push the train wheel, which was surprisingly fun! Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We enjoyed it, but given the small size of the museum, it’s probably a one-time experience for us.
Brooke W — Google review
Highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area and have a few hours to spare. There are a lot of locomotives and rail cars on the property that you can explore, as well as a couple model train setups, and train rides. The model trains in the basement of the museum are very detailed, and the volunteers took time to explain everything about it. Bring quarters, because you can use them to activate some different features of the model train city. Outside, take some time to explore all of the various trains set up throughout the property. You can climb into and walk through many of them. For an extra fee, you can take a train ride around the perimeter of the property. It is well worth the fee, as someone explains the history of the museum and many of the trains you see throughout the property during the loops around the edge of the yard.
David K — Google review
There’s a good variety of historic trains to see, and being able to walk through some of them makes it even more interesting. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the exhibits do a nice job explaining Colorado’s railroad history. The small-gauge train ride is a fun extra. It’s an enjoyable stop in Golden and definitely worth visiting.

This was an amazing experience!! We made sure to go on the weekend, when the trains were running. There's so much history here. You will lose time in the museum, taking it all in. The location is breathtaking. The models are truly remarkable. The staff that work here, genuinely love their jobs, and are so kind. We packed a lunch and spent all day here. There's so much to take in if you pay attention to the details!!
Tribe L — Google review
So fun! They have a very wide selection of trains and train-related goodness. Everyone that works there is very nice, knowledgeable, and clearly enjoy what they do. You can explore the inside of several of the trains and while we were there they had train rides going, which was very fun. Lots of fun little activities and historical displays available. Highly recommend if you like trains (obviously), history, transportation, or just want spend your afternoon doing something fun. We went on a weekend and while it was fairly busy, we didn't have to wait to get in or feel crowded at any point.
Kaleena — Google review
Fun rail museum that we made sure to see on our visit to Colorado. A large collection of cars and engines to see. Unfortunately, because of vandalism not all of the cars were available to see and experience on a weekend which was a huge bummer. If you take the train ride definitely enjoy the restored car from the 1880s, it's beautiful. The model rail road downstairs is extraordinary and very detailed. Overall, the experience felt very very kid oriented and us adult kids that enjoy trains have to deal with screaming and general disregard from kids pushing past or through photos. We would have liked to also see the library and all of it's treasures in there but that was also closed. Tried buying a pin and a patch for my collection...only one was available to buy. The engines and collection are great, and if you're a rail fan there's definitely something here for you to enjoy, but overall the experience left us wanting.
Damian V — Google review
Worthwhile spot to go to with kids! We went for the Harvest Haunt before Halloween and our little one loved it. It felt like a small space when I initially arrived but you can easily spend an entire day there with kids, between the special exhibits/activities, the kids caboose, the museum, the model train inside, etc. Highly recommend a visit, especially for the specials!

Sandwich shop
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Golden, D'Deli is a beloved counter-serve eatery that has been delighting locals and visitors alike for years. This casual spot offers an impressive array of both classic and inventive sandwich options, all crafted from the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Imagine sinking your teeth into fresh-baked bread filled with unique Colorado specialties like elk pastrami or smoked buffalo—each bite is a true taste of the region!
Visiting from Michigan, and stopped in because I love a good deli. This place did not disappoint! Excellent service, super friendly, AND the sandwich was outstanding. I got the Italian 1/2, and it was still huge. The meats and toppings were great, and I loved the vinaigrette. I would 1000% come in again and again. Tons of choices, local, delicious. Perfect sandwich!
G A — Google review
D'Deli is a staple in Golden. I remember going there many times during college and had to visit recently to relive my college days and have a delicious sandwich. We got a TMI, Dalton, and a Camper. The TMI and Dalton were exactly as I remember: delicious and fresh-tasting. The Camper was honestly a little disappointing. It felt like I was eating mostly bread with a bit of Nutella and the other ingredients. Service is great with good conversation with the employees. I will say that I think the sandwiches are a bit expensive for what you get especially if you only get a half sandwich. The sandwiches are delicious either way though. I highly recommend getting a sandwich from here and then walking over to beautiful Clear Creek and enjoying your sandwich while watching/listening to the creek. Life is great sometimes!
David C — Google review
Easily the best sandwich I've ever had! Customer service was great too, they recommended Sriracha and fried onions on the bahn mi and it was amazing! Totally packed with flavors, would 100% recommend
Zach R — Google review
This is my favorite sandwich place in Colorado, maybe anywhere! They food is extremely high quality. Lots of attention to taste and flavors. Very unique sandwiches with some flavorful, spicy options. I love how they incorporate local meats and game into their sandwiches. The Bison Reuben and Elk sandwiches are a great choice to try!
Tyler N — Google review
We enjoy this deli, best one close to us in Arvada. Unfortunately, today, we got all the way home (10 mins away) and realized they forgot one of the sandwiches in the oven that 2 people were going to split and they were closed so we couldn’t even go back for it. I actually think this is the second time this has happened to us. Aspen Buddha could use a little more aioli and I would probably prefer lettuce over sprouts. FIL always gets the pastrami and loves it. The farmer is the one he got this time. Dalton is a go to for me and my MIL.
Andrea L — Google review
Have been a few times now and have never been particularly satisfied. The first time we got very good service, but the succeeding times it has felt as if I was imposing on them; like some kind of parody of NJ Italians with bad attitudes running a deli. The food is okay, nothing special, but the pricing is out of hand. It's a weirdly common "look at our wacky menu, even though we can't get the basics down right" kind of place. The bang for the buck just isn't there, and I would not suggest it; especially for anyone looking for an authentic East Coast deli experience.
Adam K — Google review
Wow, this place is great! We popped in for lunch and hope to squeeze in another visit before we leave town. The staff were very friendly and I believe my boyfriend said, "this may be the best sandwich that I have ever had." Highly recommend!
Jenna B — Google review
Always a must when we visit. I have never had a problem the sandwiches are tasty. Last time though wife thought the turkey sandwich was too dry. Love to sit outside and eat. I highly recommend. Great friendly staff.

When you step into the Sherpa House Restaurant and Cultural Center in Golden, you're not just dining; you're embarking on a culinary journey to the Himalayas. This charming venue is designed to mimic a traditional Nepalese home, surrounded by lush gardens that enhance its inviting atmosphere. While exploring the menu, you'll discover an array of exotic flavors that go beyond typical Indian fare.
I am a big fan of Indian and Nepalese food and I was eager to try the Sherpa House when I heard about it. Myself and a friend had made plans to visit the Colorado Railroad Museum in the morning and top off our visit to Golden with lunch at the Sherpa House. We were not disappointed. Arriving at the restaurant in separate cars we both found parking easily. You have to smile at the gorgeous landscaping and what I believe to be authentic decor throughout the grounds. We were seated immediately and enjoyed eating outdoors on their patio surrounded by a waterfall and Tibetan prayer flags flapping gently on a beautiful day. They call themselves a restaurant and Cultural Center with good reason. There are plenty of small signs explaining the many exotic items they have. We both had the lunch buffet. It had a nice selection of offerings. We started with a bowl of Lamb Stew that set our tastebuds up for the other dishes we sampled - all good. We were not rushed in any way and enjoyed good service. To top off our visit we made a stop at their gift shop which had a nice variety of Asian garments, incense and other items. If you are looking for something different from standard burger menus and American fare this is the place to be.
Edward B — Google review
They offer a delicious lunch buffet, highly recommended. We also opted for the combination dumplings that did not disappoint. We would come back just for those. The dip is delicious and spicy but add a little yogurt sauce if you like a more mild spicy without skimping on the flavor. The buffet options were not overwhelming and everything was tasty. The patio is dog friendly and they staff are super attentive and accommodating. If you visit Golden this should be on the top of your list. The patio is its own little oasis.
Kaeleigh A — Google review
The decor of this place is amazing—it really gives you the feeling of being in a mountain lodge in Nepal. The restaurant has several different dining rooms, each with its own vibe. There's also a bar and a terrace. Now for the downside: the service is not great. Maybe it’s a cultural difference, but the staff wasn’t very attentive and came across as a bit rude. They kind of pushed us to go for the $20 buffet, which wasn’t bad, but didn’t offer many options. Most of the food was basic—mainly vegetables and rice. Again, it’s not terrible, but for that price, it should offer more variety or cost less. Still, it was a nice discovery overall.
Heber M — Google review
Went here August 28 at 12:30 p.m. Great atmosphere. Only the garden was open for lunch. Lunch was a typical Indian food buffet. The Dal was more runny than I like, but the nan was ok. Average Indian food but a fun environment and a low price. The waiter was nice. A bottle of Menage a Trois Chardonnay at Target costs $8 and here they charge $9 for a glass, but it was quite full.
Seth W — Google review
Great place for a little change from your regular routine. Food is very tasty but not spiced hot. Buffet is a favorite, but one can order from a menu. Service was spotty with misunderstanding of item requests and lack of follow up. Seating outside is outstanding.

I was there for brunch last Saturday . I loved how all the employees were warm and welcoming . It was crowded since it was weekend cuz we wanted to stay outdoor however it was all occupied so we had to stay indoor . We order House Sampler (non veg ) which was average comfort Nepali food . The fried dumplings chicken momo were so juicy and delicious . It comes in 6 or 12 PCs . And we ordered 12 . Had a great homely experience here 🥰

Excellent food, served quickly and hot! Our Waiter did an awesome job with our group. Our party of 5 all enjoyed everything we tasted. I had the meat sampler and the portion was very generous, I could finish it all but I was stuffed! The chai tea latte was the only item I did not like, it lacked the flavor of the traditional chai spices. The ambiance was great and the restaurant designed I feel like captured the essence of Nepal. You also have the opportunity to round up to help support their community initiatives in Nepal.

Went in thinking “medium” spice would be a friendly handshake. Turns out, it was more like a playful slap to the face—with chili. 🌶️😂 The service? Amazing. They treated me like royalty. The food? Incredible—flavors so good I almost forgave my taste buds for filing a complaint. The medium spice? Let’s just say it’s clearly calibrated for people who wrestle fire for breakfast. Meanwhile, I was sitting there negotiating with my water glass like it was my lawyer. Still, every bite was worth it. 10/10 would recommend—just maybe start with “mild” unless your tongue has a gym membership. 💪🔥 ✨We tried (and pictured): chicken momo dumplings, chicken vindaloo, vegetable chow mein, and the garlic & cheese naan.

Nestled within the charming Table Mountain Inn, the Table Mountain Grill & Cantina is a lively dining destination that captures the essence of Santa Fe with its vibrant decor and stunning mountain views. This restaurant serves up a delightful array of Southwestern cuisine for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Guests can indulge in hearty dishes like Chicken n Biscuits featuring house-made jalapeno cheddar biscuits or savor classic favorites such as Huevos Rancheros with local chorizo.
Food was delicious! We went for a late night bite and it was delicious! We tried the chips and salsa with queso. We shared a plate of chicken enchiladas with blue corn tortillas. Our table tried the street corn empanadas and they were amazing! Very flaky and crusty.

This is a popular tourist frequented spot, in the heart of Golden. It is super busy on the weekends and perhaps that is why the meal and experience was not what it could be. The service was rushed, quick, and to the point. It felt like we were at a drive up window with a line of impatient cars behind us--sorry no time for pleasantries, gotta go, go go. Even when he came back once to check on us, he was already leaving before we could nod that everything was fine. It wasn't. Aside from that the food was okay, at least the fajitas were served hot. Everything else was room temperature at best. To be fair, yes it was a Saturday afternoon. At 2:30 or so. Not exactly the lunch hour rush. So if you're in the mood for a fast food experience at a sit down restaurant, this may be for you. But if you want to enjoy a calm, relaxing lunch after a long beautiful mountain hike, this may not be it.

Came here and decided to give it a chance. Service was fast and she always came and checked in on us. Which to me is very important. My drink stayed full the whole time. We started with chips and salsa and Queso. The salsa and chips are okay, the Queso is ok too. Definitely could be better. They should change it to fun-dido. (If you don't know difference then queso is good). The wife got the chili relleno and she really liked it and was not able to eat it all. (Maybe because of the chips). I went ahead and got a burrito chimichanga style with fried jalapenos. And of course the wife finished it off with a desert which tasted very good. probably my favorite part. Overall I would come here again but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

We go here almost every time we are in Golden. They have the very special Barmen Pilsner from Coors there. Amazing dip trio and fajitas. Great outdoor patio overlooking Main Street. You can bring your dogs if you sit on the patio. Inside is nice too with a very southwestern look. Love the hotel it’s located in as well. Must stop by:))

I ordered the nachos with chicken, cheese quesadillas & chocolate brownie dessert w/ i e cream 1) I received nachos with no meat, 2) Flavorless quesadillas 3) cold, hard brownies with old/sour strawberries on top & no ice cream. Really gross & I actually paid $80 for this. This is definitely nowhere near tex-mex. Huge waste of money & definitely regret the $15 tip I left. Do not eat here. The best thing were the fries. That is it, that is all & that is an honest review.

I have never gone out of my way to leave a bad review, but this felt very necessary. My friends and I had a very unfortunate experience Wednesday evening that ensured I will never return to this place. I have some friends visiting from out of town, and after their 16 hour drive in, we decided to meet at this Table Mountain Grill and Cantina. We chose this place because it was getting later, 9 pm, and they were open until 11. We sat for a bit and were told that the kitchen was closing soon so we were quick about ordering. The food was nothing to write home about, but it wasn’t bad overall. After we ate we sat with some drinks to catch up. Our bartender was great and made sure to keep our drinks flowing. He then came around for last call and we had just one more drink. That’s about the time the second dude started lurking around. This man with his Gray hair and beard kept pop into the bar area giving our table the side eye. He had the vibe of a manager, but we would have never known because he never checked to see how our experience had been. Just part of the way through our final drinks, and about 30 min before they closed, he turned on the lights as bright as possible. My friend and I are both industry workers, so we know the tactics that people use to make people know it’s time to get going. HOWEVER, this is usually AFTER a restaurant closes, not 30 minutes before. As we finished up our drinks and conversation, this same man made it VERY clear he wanted us out of this business where we just spent about $50 a person at. He clapped his hands and exclaimed “Let’s go!” in frustration. We felt very rushed as they started stacking chairs and closing up shop. Like I said, my friend and I are longtime restaurant industry workers and know how it is. Restaurant etiquette goes both ways. We won’t stay a minute past closing time, but all we did was spend our money at this place and got treated like a nuisance. Unfortunately, a restaurant’s atmosphere can be dictated by one individual running the place.

Awesome experience! After hiking at Golden Gate Canyon we decided to ditch the wait at Woody's (always take out of state visitors there) and so glad we did! Brian, our server, was hands down the best server I have ever met. Super personalble and attentive (Saturday night). Gave great recommendations for margs & food (get the spicy senorita & nachos with beef). Also Gluten Free!!! No reaction at all! My new fave in Golden. Great food. Epic service.

The Buffalo Rose is great! We’ve walked by a number of times and finally decided to stop in. It was a busy day for them but we didn’t wait long and the service was quick. The food was all unique and very tasty! For being on the main strip in Golden, the pricing was very reasonable as well. Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite.

Very good atmosphere and nicely decorated saloon. Our waitress was friendly, although I noticed that not all staff members were as welcoming. The place has a lovely terrace and an interesting history. On the downside, the food wasn’t great—the hamburger was a bit small and slightly undercooked.

Buffalo Rose is absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing with so many great choices—it’s the kind of place where you want to try everything on the menu. The bacon-wrapped dates were out of this world and an absolute must-try. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was just as impressive—warm, lively, and full of character, making it a spot you’ll want to come back to again and again. Whether you’re going for a casual night out or a special gathering, Buffalo Rose delivers an experience that’s both memorable and delicious. Highly recommend!

We were visiting Colorado from Phoenix, AZ. We took a drive through Golden and saw the Buffalo outside Buffalo Rose. We pulled over and checked the menu online. They had a very diversified menu that included elk and bison. We tried the bison meatloaf and carne asada both. Both dishes were great, and the bison was amazing. The green chile served with the carne asada was amazing as well. We wanted to try a dessert, but had to pass after not being able to finish our food. The serving sizes were large, and we noticed several beers on tap. Scott served us and was very friendly and reassured the bison meatloaf was a good choice. Food and service were all amazing! We will be back again, and spread the word about your location!

Love the self-serve beer concept. Drank a few ounces of Coors because when in Rome. . . Food wise, we tried the sushi spot and the bbq! Both were awesome! Live music and beautiful views really add to the vibe!

Such a fun place for lunch. Right on the river with a view of the Coors plant. Iconic! I got the BBQ and it was delicious. Smoked chicken sandwich with potato salad. The potato salad was some of the best that I’ve had in a while. A tangy crunchy pickle pop really made it. There are a few other good choices there too. It’s like an elevated food court.

This place is GIGANTIC! With so many people there I am surprised that we found parking no problem, got checked in right away, there were no lines (except for the bathroom) we found a place to sit and eat and our food and the food came really fast! It was slso delicious! They came up with a pretty good system there. We're from Washington and it was a nice experience! I'm very impressed! If I lived here I'd go there often. I love the view and decor! Wish I could see it after dark!

Cute food and drink hall with several different cuisines. There is a beer wall as well. I like getting ice cream at the shop in the corner. This place is very trendy and busy with limited parking nearby, but there are lots of different seating options for different group sizes and hangout vibes. Indoor tables downstairs, as well as outdoor tables on ground level and up on the rooftop/upstairs floor. There are heaters and string lights so it makes for a cozy environment even in cool weather or after dark.

This was a very cool place. I'm from the Midwest and have never been to a place like this before. Don't refer to any of the vendors as a food truck. The host at the register ringing us up was very quick to correct me and inform me that it's a "food Hall"…. Kind of snippy but oh well. I still had a great time. The rooftop seating has a beautiful view!!

Our family had so much fun here! What a great dining concept, everyone can get their own drinks and food. Our family of 8 chose the sushi (upstairs), burgers, wings, and Mexican food. Lines were long, but our food was ready really fast. The ice cream was also delicious! The location is one of the best in Golden. When we pulled up on a Saturday afternoon, there was a long line to enter, but we got in really quickly. The place was packed, but there was plenty of room for us to find a table. It was a fun time!

Stumbled upon this creek side restaurant while hanging in Golden pre red rocks concert. Very cool concept. Check in at front desk, give a cc and they provide you with a swipe card for drinks and 4-5 different food options including sushi, bbq, tacos, ice cream and another one … sorry didn’t get to that one. Sushi was the best!! Lots of beers, ciders, seltzers and mixed drinks so everyone was happy. Dog friendly with outdoor/indoor seating next to a running creek. Loved it!!

Historical landmark
Old Capitol Grill & Smokehouse is a restaurant located in the heart of downtown Golden, housed in Colorado's original capitol building. The historic site offers an Old West-style atmosphere and serves up a variety of bar bites on its menu. The building has a rich history, having served as the meeting place for the territorial legislature during the 1860s. Today, visitors can step back in time while dining at this establishment or enjoy its family-friendly environment with kid favorites like chicken strips and burgers.
They have Barmen beer. The meat was nicely done, although we did have one (out of 4) dry brisket. The baked beans were homemade, we think with navy beans, changing the flavor but still delicious. The Cole Slaw was awesome. The corn beard was made with blue corn making look like a brownie - also delicious. And lastly, the service was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Tonight, the wife and I had dinner at The Capitol Grill in Golden. It’s been years since I last ate here, and I remembered it being a solid spot—but this time around, it felt a little underwhelming. We started with the fried cheese balls and Brussels sprouts. Both were fine, but nothing special—just pretty basic. For my main, I ordered the half rack of ribs, and my wife went with the chicken-fried chicken. Honestly, the highlight of my plate was the cornbread, which pretty much says it all. The food wasn’t terrible, just not what I was hoping for. I was craving something a little more elevated. Unless they bring steak back to the menu, I don’t think we’ll be rushing back anytime soon. That said, the service was great, and the ambiance was chill, so props there. As always, I encourage you to check it out for yourself—maybe your experience will hit differently. I park my car, got out, and instantly was like "whatever I'm smelling that needs to be my lunch." We thought we followed our noses correctly, but I'm not so sure. We were able to get seated right away, with patio seating available. First impression of our server was not great. She seemed impatient. I will add by meals end she redeemed herself. She was pretty chill. I didn't get her name to toss a shout out, but she was also tending the bar. Anyway, to the food.... the reason you're reading this. It was... mediocre. Both of us got the Hatch Burger and I also got a small side of green chili. I will say, Red Robin has a better burger. The French-fried onions had zero flavor. Beyond that it was kind of eh. The French fries were really yummy, so there's that. The highlight for myself was the green chili. A nice kick with some good bold flavors. Now, bang for the buck, not at all. Two beers, two hatch burgers, a small side of green chili.... $64.00!!!! The green chili side was $8.00!! I honestly could have gone to a chain restaurant got the same quantity of food and drink maybe better quality for a bit less and bottomless fries. Just saying. All in all, I might need to try to find what I was smelling when I got of my car. That's just me. Go, give em' a shot. See what you think. Go eat, drink and be kind.

I was a little skeptical after reading a few reviews but everything our party of 7 ordered was delicious! First we ordered the crispy brussel sprouts. They were cooked perfectly with slices of apple and a delicious vinaigrette. My in-laws ordered the fried pickles and said they were very good. Two of us ordered the smoked pulled pork and brisket. That was soooo good as was their house made bbq sauce. My husband had tacos and enjoyed them. The kids burger was quite large and my 8 year old had half to take home. My teenagers split the nachos and had pulled pork and brisket on it. The nachos were really good and went fast. They did order everything on the side except the cheese and meat. The nachos come with a lot more than was is pictured. They also have great mocktails. I ordered the mojito and loved it. We couldn’t go wrong with anything we ordered!

Really enjoyed the place overall. We sat on the patio on a beautiful day, but the weather turned fast and it started pouring — got completely soaked! The location is amazing and service was good. The wait, though, was a bit frustrating: around 35 minutes even with lots of empty tables. The burger and salad were solid, but I didn’t like the fries — they had a weird taste, like maybe they weren’t fresh, possibly frozen? Not sure. Prices were very reasonable, and they offer 2-hour parking at the hotel, though I parked outside. Still, I’d say it’s worth the experience.

Nice breakfast spot right by the creek with a beautiful view of the mountains, especially if you can sit outside. I ordered the eggs benedict and a latte. The latte was smooth and well made, but the eggs benedict were a bit overcooked, so the yolks weren’t runny as they should be. Still, the flavors were good and the setting made up for it. Service was friendly and relaxed, and it’s an overall pleasant place to start the morning in Golden.

We stopped here after our tour of the Coors Brewing Co. It did not disappoint. It was a small eclectic place with outdoor seating looking at a scenic mountain view in Golden Co. When you go in, you fill out a sleeve of what type of burger and additions you want and hand it to the counter staff. They give you a unique card with a name for your order. Mine was Frank Sinatra. The burger was delicious. I ordered mine with grilled onions and pickles, which came aplenty. The burger was delicious were very glad we stopped. Also, the staff was super friendly.

I love the self-serve sauce station. The staff clearly know what they are doing and get the food out fast. The line was consistently out the door. The burgers were great, but not the best I’ve had. The double burger comes with two nicely sized patties—not small but not massive. If you’re not a big eater, I’d stick with the single patty burger. They cook all burgers medium well which is disappointing since I prefer the medium rare side. They definitely don’t skimp on the toppings; we appreciated the amount of banana peppers and pickles they gave. The gluten free bun was different from most I’ve had in a great way. Very soft and tasty. I have a gluten sensitivity, and they asked if it was a preference or an allergy, then explained they use a separate space and handling techniques for those with celiac. The fries weren’t bad, but they didn’t leave me craving more. They have a good amount of patio seating which is nice; the inside is small, simple, and a bit dark. Total cost was $56 for 2 people which isn’t cheap for a burger joint. Given the price and not being blown away, I’d check out other burger spots before making my way back.

So I'm usually working by myself doing gig work but this time my wife decided to go with me on some deliveries. We ended up in Golden for our last stop and couldn't really figure what to eat considering most of the places where far from my last delivery. So after debating for 20 minutes and a couple of U-Turns later cause we kept changing our mind. We decided to hit the nearest place to eat and that was Bob's Atomic Burgers. Let me tell you if you end up on Golden this is the place to go too. I'll tell you what this was the best homemade burger I've ever had. The burgers are literally made fresh daily and let me tell you the burgers where so dang good I couldn't stop thinking about them, heck I'm still thinking about them now and want another one. The service was excellent, very friendly and the staff very energetic. All I can say is if your ever in Golden near the Coors Brewing Plant you must definitely stop on by you won't regret it. Just FYI this place isn't a fast food joint and takes a bit to cook up your food especially when it's busy as we saw after we got our food. So be patient and trust me it will all be worth it.

Quit different from expectation. Very small shop, 2 manning the food prep, 1 cashier and 1 food service, so it has very limited and slow service. The whole bread is better if don't want to be too full as the wheat bread make it fills a bit full to finish. Daily specials usually an easy choice. The patty is dry seasoned before grill to give it better favor and did makes it tasty Orion rings is crispy but very heavy on the breading which covered the onions favors The ordering process start with filling a pocket for the bread, type of meat, and sides. Line up to the cashier that like to chatting (even when there is a long line), manually enter all that marked on the sleeve (which took a bit time) and then repeat back one by one for confirmation. It takes time on top of the chatting, good to check for error, but should have more efficient way. Specially the sleeve was part of the packing of the hamburger!!! In short, the loneliness in part created by the process which makes the wait longer and more frequent. Burger was not bad, however might not worth the long wait, specially for that artificial long

This retro style diner was worth the wait in line. The burgers are fresh grilled, greasy and delicious. The fried chicken sandwich was surprisingly our favorite though — light breading with excellent seasoning and juicy white meat chicken. As of June 2025, $10 sandwich + extra couple bucks for add on toppings — good value!

The place is a local favorite, so it's got that going for it. One cashier, one server who try their best. Decent burger, but you've had better and worse. The fries - depends on personal preferences. More flies inside than out, probably due to the spilt soda on the floor. Really good (malted) milkshake. Bathrooms looked pretty clean.

For such a small place why do they have a line you’re gonna wait if you go there on a Saturday after the Fourth of July ha ha great area for proceeding outside but definitely slow going to get your food. I would actually give it more of a 4 1/2 stars however it doesn’t give me that option so I went for the five everything even outside seemed like it was pretty clean given that area and size of the place.

The service here is always attentive and remarkable, and the cuisine is of high quality, which includes a variety of dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.

After visiting this place for a second time (only because we had a gift card) I can confirm this is the worst restaurant in downtown Golden. This was our $18 club sandwich that I could have made at home in two minutes. I've never seen such a sad club sandwich come out of a restaurant kitchen. I would have been more forgiving if it at least tasted good but it was on the same level as a 7-Eleven grab and go. Go to literally any of the other great restaurants downtown.

We had dinner here in a Saturday night. I had made a reservation earlier in the day and there was no wait time for us to be seated. The atmosphere was lovely and their wine list is quite impressive. I ordered the roasted chicken dish and my husband had the shrimp linguine, both of which were to die for! If you smothered a sandal with the gravy that comes with the chicken I'd probably eat it, it's that good. We also had their Brussels sprouts which were so yummy and their lava cake for dessert. Overall a delicious meal and will definitely be coming back for date night!

Rehearsal dinner cancelled on last minute by a restaurant around the corner from Indulge. Mother of the Groom calls Indulge 2 hours before we are supposed to have 30+ people arrive for dinner… the GM, Adrian was heaven-sent and worked the most insane magic we’ve ever seen… we arrived to a romantic setting with charcuterie and appetizers ready to go, a beautiful menu of prepared courses and the most dreamy dessert options. The service was impeccable and more than we could have asked for. Sometimes being cancelled on leads to the best experience and Indulge definitely came through!!! ✨🫶✨
Desirae L — Google review
Good service. The food at Indulge is pretty basic, which isn't really a problem, a lot of steakhouses do basic food very well. The problem is that the preparation is frequently mediocre at best. There are better restaurants in Golden at this price point.
Logan W — Google review
The outdoor patio has great views and it’s easy to get a table here when the surrounding restaurants are on a long wait list. The Greek salad was delicious and the wine menu is extensive, but our main entrees were disappointing. The spaghetti and meatballs did not taste homemade and the steak was over cooked (we ordered medium rare). The service was great but the food was subpar.

A perfect place to start a visit to Golden. There is free parking on the south side, for up to two hours - fantastic. Beautiful trail, well-maintained buildings. Bikers are asked to use the south-side trail and tubers the north side trail, but people can walk on either side, and we saw no bikes. We loved it.
Seth W — Google review
Nice little park. A bit of history to go along with the beautiful scenery. Hiking/biking trails on both sides of the river. Close to Downtown Golden. Shops, restaurants also close. Parking is kinda hit and miss. Some free parking for a period of time. A free parking lot close, but is closed after October 1st for snow dumping.

Came here during December and we’re extremely impressed! The park and the downtown area of Golden is super clean with a peaceful country vibe. The river walk trail was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the Denver area. We definitely plan on visiting here again!

Cute little park. Good walking. Free exhibits to check out. Gardens and historic things to see with good information. Dogs welcome but closed and locked bathrooms? No trashcan. Why? You invite people to come and capitalize off the tourism for your whole town. Give us trashcans and open your bathroom and porta potty. And stop making excuses. Take care of your tourists.

Very nice and easy trail, great for the whole family young and old. Well maintained, paved with lots of access points to the water (some of the access are graduate sloped for easier access for mobility!) Bike is encouraged to use south bank trail while leaving North bank trail for slower pace walking. This help keeping the trail more enjoyable to all and reduce the conflicts between faster traffic with enjoying viewer. A lot of tuber launch and exit pools along the trail for summer time fun. The fall colors are very good, specially like this fall. Free parking at 10th street if you want to enjoy more than 2 hours, near by parking is free for first two hours only, so utilize the parking lot a little bit to the east on 10th street (It's less than 0.5miles from the parks. less than a hundred yard from Clear creek Trail. ) and enjoy more relaxed pace is recommended.

Love this park, especially since they have added all the new beautiful routes down to the water. It is great to see kayakers, paragliders and walkers out and about in all weather. Also love the new history 'homes' that are decorated inside and the chicken coop. Lots of fun and beauty for the family. Good running and a playground too!

Nestled in the vibrant town of Golden, Bonfire Burritos is a delightful food trailer that has been delighting both locals and visitors with its authentic Mexican cuisine for several decades. Known for its colorful exterior and inviting atmosphere, this casual eatery specializes in from-scratch burritos and street tacos. The menu features an array of mouth-watering options, including hearty breakfast burritos—perfect for kickstarting your day—and even a vegetarian choice to cater to all tastes.
Very low-key spot with a great outdoors vibe and absolutely delicious burritos! The service was so good. Everyone was super helpful and friendly while they talked us through the menu. Definitely go here before doing any of the hikes around golden!
Saahil P — Google review
What I really appreciate about Bonfire Burritos is their values—especially giving leftover food to those in need instead of wasting it. Big respect for that. It was my second visit, and while the food is solid (the Chupacabras burrito is tasty and super filling), the dining area could use a bit more attention—dirty tables and paper on the floor made it feel a bit neglected. Service is quick, and the staff is young and friendly. I like the small menu—it gives the impression that everything’s fresh. However, they serve everything in disposable containers, even if you're eating in, which creates a lot of unnecessary waste. I think asking customers if it's dine-in or takeout could help reduce that. Overall, it’s a quiet, casual spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Expect to spend around $20 per person with a drink. I’ll definitely be back.
Heber M — Google review
The hype is real! We did some research while in Golden and wanted to get some bomb burritos at a local joint and this was the spot we chose. The line for food was long but they are super efficient so it didn’t take long to order. From there you can chill, vibe out and listen to the music while you wait for your food. We got a burrito and a bowl a both were 10/10! If you get the chance to stop in, totally recommend.
Leah B — Google review
This was our first meal after landing at airport. We were on our way to the mountains, and it was the perfect pitstop for breakfast burritos! There was a line but it went fast. They have their operation down to a tee. We got two burritos and they were bomb!!! So good. Can’t wait to go back.
Binh N — Google review
Burritos were absolutely amazing! Out of this world good. Menu was a little tough to read because the screen moved and we didnt know they had beers or that it was happy hour when we got there so that would have been nice to know. Even though its outside wish the flys and bees were a bit more under control. Didn't see anything that would help with them. But other than those minor things would absolutely go back and recommend!
Amanda B — Google review
Best burrito I’ve ever had. Music was a bit much for 10:30 am Girl that gave me my bag was SUPER jaded, and got it wrong anyway. Long lines are always indicative of great food and Bonfire delivers. Staff could be less aggressive and transactional. 🫤 Worth the wait, but don’t engage the staff.
James B — Google review
Someone in Breckinridge recommended this place after hearing my search for a breakfast burrito that wasn’t mush. I got the deluxe!!! Carne asada is grilled on site and the butter salsa is yummm!!! Don’t expect to get your burrito to go if it’s your first time! I highly recommend enjoying the vibe. Someone made a post about the floor being dirty and I almost didn’t go! First off this place had covered outdoor seating, secondly I guess dirty is perspective! I thought it was clean, compared to other places I’ve been I appreciated not having a million flies and mosquitoes around me while eating!

Downtown Golden is a lively area with a rich history dating back to the 1850s. It boasts an array of retail shops, restaurants, and parks. The city offers various modes of transportation from Denver, making it easily accessible. Visitors can enjoy unique dining experiences at places like the Golden Mill, where they can self-serve drinks and pay by the ounce.
Great place to jump off to a number of day trips and simply a great little city. They have worked to keep the small town feel. People are very nice, a good place for a week with the family.

Short and sweet. The main street is short, but Downtown is expansive. It's all walkable and filled with food options of various price points. Shops galore, and history everywhere. There's a combination of old and new that create a place for everyone.

This place wasn't on my Colorado radar but because of the rain that day, we decided to do a road trip. I had never heard of Golden. It is a nice mountain town. I always have to stop at a mom&pop coffee shop. Best stores there and nice people. I just love Colorado and the mountain towns. It's also home of Coors beer if you drink beer that's good to know.

The restaurant has two dining rooms, one with a chic ambiance and the other more opulent. They provide various services such as takeout, reservations, and have friendly waitstaff. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere! Food was delicious, the fresh hummus and pita bread were sooo goood!! Lots of cool decorations inside all very interesting, they had super tall hookahs in the corners and they had a fountain too!
Auday B — Google review
This is my favorite restaurant in Colorado. Note: their hours are 11-8:30 M-S and 11-8 on Sun. The menu is outstanding, and every dish will excite your tastebuds!!! My favorite thing on the menu is the hummus, it is the best tasting hummus I’ve had and is so smooth. I recently took my best friend here and upon arrival, we found out they were closed. The owner was incredibly kind enough to let us still order gyro shawarmas and a side of hummus. The two ladies at the counter were patient with us and very welcoming given that we came after hours. Even though we ended being those people, they were willing and excited to help us get dinner. They also gave us a huge tub of hummus which I could cry about, so so kind. If you’re in Golden, this is THE spot to eat and enjoy beautiful artwork. The dining room is stunning with draped tapestries on the ceiling and a beautiful marble fountain. I highly recommend experiencing the welcoming atmosphere and delicious food at Ali Baba!!

First time coming and it was some of the best food in Golden. The interior of the restaurant teleports you to the middle of Syria and the food somehow tastes better than it looks. Our waitress Tika was the most respectful and kind person I've ever met and made our experience even better. Highly recommend coming here at least once and you will definitely want to come again after.

I randomly stopped here for lunch while passing through Golden. I think I was the only done in customer for lunch, though there were quite a few takeout orders. The restaurant has a unique decor, atmosphere, and ambiance that I really enjoyed. The food was great as was the service. Thank you!

Being a customer of Ali baba for more than a decade I can say confidently that this restaurant is by far one of the best ones in Golden! It’s great food at great at costs makes it a great go to for groups of any sizes and a perfect catering source that we have used for my and my brothers graduation as well as many friends that have followed suite. With all of the stunning decorations Ali baba has displayed, it is safe to say that the only place that could even come close to the authentic Syrian feel then Ali baba creates would be in Syria itself. The service here is not only great, it is deeply imbedded in the community and i have talked to several friends that are not only familiar with but good friends with the waitress Tika who is the nicest person who makes this amazing place all so much cooler. Tika is here almost every time i come here and she is always super friendly and welcoming. In total, if i had to pick my favorite restraint in the world Ali baba would make that an easy decision for me!
Wesley L — Google review
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The service is always top-notch and the staff make you feel welcome every time. The food was good overall — fresh and flavorful — though the kebab wasn’t quite as tender as I’ve had here before. Still, I really enjoy coming back because of the great atmosphere and excellent service.

I love a business that fully embraces a theme for their interior designing. And this place does a fantastic job at that! Couches with arm pillows in the dining room, and gorgeous decor on every wall. Diner
Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Golden, Golden Diner has been a beloved local spot since 2009, offering a delightful array of classic American and Southwestern comfort food. This charming eatery serves breakfast all day, featuring mouthwatering options like pancakes, French toast, omelets, and their renowned homemade pork green chili. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty Mountain Man Breakfast Burrito or Sally's Omelet smothered in that famous sauce, there's something to satisfy every craving.
The donut holes (with strawberry & vanilla dip) were bite-sized joy grenades. The Reuben? Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Pancakes were fluffy enough to double as pillows, and the hash browns had the crispiness of a golden sunset. Friendly staff, cozy vibes, and food that made me question every past breakfast decision. I’ll be back… probably tomorrow

Sunday morning breakfast. This was a great choice. Cute diner downtown Goden, what's not to love. My biggest complaint would be I like diners to have a quaint, simplicity about them. A feel-good spot, if you know what I mean. I don't feel like The Golden Diner had that vibe. However, what they lack in grandma's kitchen feel they make up for with their food. I had the Dude. It was a HUGE portion. It was delicious. I like my green chili to have a bit more spice than the chili had but there were very solid flavors. I also had a side of smoked brisket sausage.... YES!!! That was 100% the highlight of my meal. the portion was generous, and the smoke flavor was incredible. My partner got the chicken fried steak. The gravy had to have been made in house (we found our diner, grandma comfort). It was exactly what you want from gravy. The chicken fried steak appeared to be hand breaded. If it wasn't they do good at what they do. Let's also not forget the mimosa. Go, go get a mimosa and smoked brisket sausage. Come back and thank me later.
Amy L — Google review
Excellent spot. Not my first time in, but first time posting a review. The atmosphere is great. Definitely a favorite with the locals. A lot of good conversations taking place between tables. A very community feel. The food was great. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was tasty. The Bacon was thick and cooked just right. The coffee was tasty and hot. The hash browns were super crispy. A little thicker than most places, a nice touch. The only complaint I could possible come up with, and it is a small one, is that they only have Cholula hot sauce. I am more of a Tobasco guy when it comes to the popular hot sauces. I would highly recommend they look into getting some local hot sauce in house and I would specifically recommed Danny Cash (my favorite). Not enough to knock off a star, but not really a Cholula guy. The waitress was incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough for how nice she was and how good the service was. 5-stars all around!

This was my first time here. When I was nearly done, I got a chance to speak to the owner, David. Very passionate owner, the food was delicious. I love a proper gravy, not just flour and milk and grease, this is an actual recipe with delicious taste. The chicken fried steak was hot and crispy, everything, including the service was fantastic

6.5/10. Braised pork and eggs Ben were pretty tasty! Good job on hollandaise sauce, and pork was seasoned well. Fried potato was crunchy and delightful to have with some hot sauce and pork. Service was slightly frantic yet slow, a most peculiar combination. Noise was a typical diner loudness, everyone’s trying to talk a bit louder than the next table. Great food, sub par service, might come back if it’s empty.
Techmo — Google review
Best place for real breakfast in Golden. Don't miss the cinnamon donut holes and fruit bowl. The donuts are perfect with creme anglais and the delicious homemade strawberry jam and the fruit bowel is a perfect assorted berries, pineapple-sweer & delicious! We tried nearly everything on the menu over 3 days and it was all good and good sized portions. The juice is delicious but the coffee whole in a nice mug could use improvement, skip it.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Golden, Abejas is a charming bistro that celebrates the essence of New American cuisine with a creative twist. This cozy eatery prides itself on its farm-to-table philosophy, showcasing seasonal produce and organic meats to craft imaginative dishes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious. The restaurant's name pays homage to the industrious bee, symbolizing agriculture and nature—perfectly reflecting their commitment to fresh ingredients.
Had a delicious meal at Abejas this past weekend. We were fortunate to have a large group and get to try lots of items on the spring menu! Some favorites: hamachi, soft shell crab, the cavatelli, and the lamb The lamb was truly some of the best I have ever had!

This lovely little restaurant is truly tucked away in its own little hole in the wall, there’s outstanding cozy patio seating, and a stunning interior that feels antique but not antiquated. The service was friendly, quick & informative. Our waiter made great recommendations. The food is amazing, with a great selection of seasonal items. Our table had the Scallop appetizers and Little Gem Salads and I ordered the Salmon. It was cooked perfectly with a great crust and a delicious yogurt sauce. Everything tastes fresh with great depth of flavors. Best of all nothing was overly heavy or dense. Their wine & dessert selection are great as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This upscale new American restaurant in Golden is an amazing option, even though it’s not the cheapest. The food and services are great.

Started off great when I found my favorite wine that I have never seen on a US menu. The food was generally very good though small portions for the price (with the exception of the bread service which was delicious and added to our lunch the next day. The carrot and frisee salad was good but way over salted as noted to the server. The squash dish was excellent.
Robert D — Google review
The service was great, friendly and attentive staff all around. The food was OK, but the coffee was a joke (at least it was cheap). One downside was the loud, out-of-place music playing outside, which didn’t match the restaurant vibe. I’d suggest spending a few minutes curating a good playlist on Spotify; it really impacts the overall dining experience.
Gabriela O — Google review
My mom and I went to Golden for the first time for our annual mother/daughter trip. I booked us a reservation at Abejas for dinner one night and it exceeded both of our expectations! We were greeted by the manager/Sommelier. I think we had booked it for an outside table, but he said they were expecting rain and we decided to dine inside (good call b/c it did end up raining). The menu had seasonal/farm-to-table options. Our server, Lauren, was amazing! She was easy to talk to, great personality, explained items on the menu, and made recommendations. I got the mussels and these were for sure in my top 5 mussel experiences every. They were so big, the broth was amazing, and the bread it was served with was a rosemary sourdough. The Sauvy B wine was a perfect pairing. My mom got the strawberry salad and enjoyed. After dinner we relocated to the bar for a few cocktails and their mixologist did a fantastic job on all the cocktails. I would 10/10 recommend visiting Abejas next time you're in Golden.

Great food and quiet atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Breakfast burrito was excellent. I should have tried the burrito sauce on top! There is no serving of the tables as you order from the front counter which isn’t a big deal. The sidewalk patio area was a nice touch although it was windy so we sat inside. Definitely would be back again and highly recommend.

This was our last stop before heading back to Flat Florida. And I guess we did in fact save the best for last. My husband and I both got the breakfast burrito and wow it was so delicious so many flavors that complimented each other so well. The service was great everyone was so kind. We got there around 9 and it was very busy but the line moved a long quickly. It’s been 3 months since I’ve been here and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. I will be back again someday! We both got a caramel iced latte and they were also delicious. Great place. Clean. Fast. Courteous. And quality. You can’t really ask for more.

I was walking around downtown Golden looking for a healthy option for lunch. Cafe 13 was recommended for their menu which includes a few breakfast items, salads, and vegetarian options. I opted for the Thai Chicken Salad and a bowl of Green Chili. Both were good. The salad had fresh ingredients and was filling. The chili had great flavor and a good kick of spiciness to it. I definitely ordered too much food for myself! I didn't realize how large the salad was going to be but I was happy about the portion size for the cost. The staff is very friendly. I would say this place is a bit loud- there were a lot of conversations going on around me. If you plan to come here for a quiet lunch or to get some work done, I recommend bringing headphones.

The view is great here and the outdoor seating is so cozy! We got a dirty chai latte and a pistachio latter, they were both really good but we liked the pistachio best. The nature center and forest loop trail was a great place to go with two little ones. The trail was a 0.5 mile loop that took us 20 mins and the nature center had lots of fun kid activities. A carpeted room with books and puppets. Plus an area with a tent and camping toys the kids could play with. Recommend for anyone looking to kill some time or take a break on a road trip. There were plenty of outdoor picnic tables and lots of parking.

Miners Saloon is a tavern in downtown Golden that exudes an Old West ambiance, reminiscent of the area's mining days in the late 1800s. The rustic and cozy interior strikes a perfect balance between historical details and modern comforts. The saloon offers a full bar with 24 taps in the taproom, as well as more than 50 brews available in bottles and cans.
Stopped by for a quick lunch and a couple of drinks and sat at the bar as the place was not too busy on a mid week afternoon. Service was average but the lunch special of half a Panini and cup of soup was excellent for $10 . Rarely do I not enjoy my beer but I definitely ordered the wrong one this time. It was described as a light Pilsner but tasted more like a sour flavoured beer.

Tucked away down a quiet, hidden alley, this charming bar feels like a secret waiting to be discovered. Offers a cozy, lived-in feel—perfect for those who want to escape the usual hustle and bustle of the main strip. This hidden gem offers a laid-back yet inviting vibe with the right balance of decent food, good drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I think it perfectly off the beaten path, every resturant on the main road was packed and we found this place using ChatGPT. It was so good and the service was amazing! Suggested great options and they tasted so good! Recommend the chili dog with game meat. It was delicious

This place was pretty good, except the Slaw, the slaw was a bit flavorless. The Pickle Shot was amazing! The Candied Bacon, wasn't bad, but I've had better. The wrap, I got the Bahn Mi, the sausage was delicious and the wrap was very flavorful.

Just a nice easy place to sit off the Main Street. We had some nice appetizers and beer. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Found this little place on a whim once when walking downtown and searching for food in the evening. Since then, it has been one of my favorite restaurants in Golden. The decorations and atmosphere are so fun, and everyone I bring says they love the food. I always get the kids hot dog, which is decently sized and comes on a crispy bread bun. So yummy!

Clear Creek White Water Park in Golden, Colorado is an exciting recreational attraction established in 1998. It offers a thrilling experience for canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts with its 800-foot course featuring drops, eddies, and waves. The park provides lessons for those looking to improve their skills and also offers the option of tubing down the river. The trail leading to the park is picturesque, passing through open meadows and pine forests on the way to Lookout Mountain.
One of the best experiences with tubing. It has become a Saturday ritual for me and my husband to go tubing here every week of July and planning for August as well as long as the water level is good. There are many restrooms around the place and picnic area.

Made a day trip to lookout mountain and this water park in golden. Excellent for those hot summer days to go tubing or just to soak your feet in the fresh water.

Really nice and clean you can always find a private part next to the river also good for walking
Nicole M — Google review
Once u pay for parking there is a little kiddie pool area to the left of the park area. Next to the statue of the kayak guy. Then there is a playground and some picnic benches. If you want to tube u must walk about half a mile on the trail and then pick a spot to safely get in water. Watch for flags and that's it!
Tawny M — Google review
Seems quite fun while I didn't jump in the river just walking along the river is quite relaxing and many things going on from street musicians to simply relaxing with sound of water, breeze and nature besides all the laughter going on from adults to kids. It was a nice walk, I observed some murals, some park rangers patrolling, a library, some historical buildings, a musician and many practicing or perfecting their paddle boarding skills. It was an enjoyable walk along both sides, there's slides for kids to get down instead of using the stairs. I spoke to someone and they said would definitely make sense to simply buy your tube if possible as the prices would be comparable.just FYI.

Close to Denver and really beautiful pathway along the nice looking trees. Rocks all around. Very beautiful walk. Highly recommend it

The perfect way to spend a day on a Colorado river! There are many entry points, so you can choose the length of your trip. People from the ages of 8 on up were tubing and paddle boarding while we were there. The walking path along the river is new and very well maintained. There are also well placed rocks, benches, and an amphitheater for you to sit while you watch others tube. There is a sign stating that there is a strictly enforced no alcohol policy and we only saw one group with beers towards sunset. This would be a great activity for any group from college friends to a family. Everyone was being safe and respectful of the space.

Very cool, out of the way bar with delicious drinks! Had the Wicked Witch - delicious if you like absinthe. Also had the tin man, anyone who likes a summery gin drink will love it. Service was also amazing. I didn’t even mention the incredible happy hour special - check it out!

My boyfriend and I popped in here while waiting for a table at a nearby pizza shop and we were pleasantly surprised! It’s a cute little place — they had live music, the service was great (had ample staff behind the bar), mood setting with the lights and their drinks were reasonably priced and creative! Would recommend the Bruce Wayne (I think that’s what it was called) if you like sweeter drinks with unique flavor! Will definitely be back!
Hannah — Google review
Had no idea coming in that this place is also a distillery. We had some of their house single malt and absinthe. Slightly different flavor profiles for those than we're used to, but still greatly enjoyed them. Delicious drinks, casual and quiet atmosphere (not your typical bar scene), and great service! We'll be back.
Miranda C — Google review
Golden has some great cocktails, but for my money you can't beat the libations at Golden Moon. Originally just the tasting room for their local distillery, they quickly grew into a full scale cocktail bar serving all their own drinks in a speakeasy-like space, and the drinks, staff, and ambiance don't disappoint. On busy nights give them a little patience, but the drinks are worth it. Pro-tip: grab a bottle to take home with you. Their single malt whiskeys can't be beat.

It was awesome overall! Amazing drinks, reasonable prices, and friendly servers with awesome customer service. Also, they had live music, which was kinda cool. Highly recommend!

This place is a must visit! Honestly best cocktail I have ever had. Brendan behind the bar knows what he's doing for sure. Trust the guy and you will not be disappointed. What a great experience we will definitely be back. Little hard to find -it's next to the Miners saloon in the hardware store parking lot

We get it, a speak-easy. Secret entrance, craft cocktails. Thankfully Golden Moon understands that this has been "done". The offer delicious craft cocktails that aren't normally what you'd expect...and you don't need a "password" to get in. You want watch live bands from the alley and walk in for a table. Don't expect fast service here; sit back, and enjoy the music and drink.

The Golden History Museum is a free cultural center that offers exhibits covering regional historic events, inventions, music, and memorabilia. It showcases the people and businesses that contributed to making Golden a gold mining and ranching center. Visitors can explore the history of Coors Brewery, which is the largest single-site brewery in North America, as well as learn about the creation of Jolly Rancher candies in Golden.
We enjoyed walking around the museum. It's free and a nice place to spend an afternoon. They have kids activities, seating, WiFi, and tables outside by the river. The parking is free. Just be sure to park in the museum designated spots or you can get a ticket. The employees at the desk are very friendly and helpful. We learned that their chicken coop currently does not have chickens but they are getting new baby chicks in spring 2025.

We used the museum as a venue for our Friday night welcome drinks for our wedding. If you're getting married near Golden, this is the PERFECT option. Very affordable, and a great location right on the river. Our guests really enjoyed the outdoors patio, and had such a fun time looking at all of the exhibits. Kathleen was so helpful answering all of our questions, and they had plenty of seating / cocktail tables / speakers to make it super easy for set-up.
Lindsey P — Google review
What a museum for free. Very well done and not crowded on a Saturday on 30 Jan 2021. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of free parking on property and close by. Clean restrooms and facility. Recommend allowing 3 hours to do all the inside, less if you don't read everything or watch the videos. An additional hour for the outside exhibits where you can feed chickens; $.25 cents for feed available. There are also ducks in the creek if you want to bring something to feed them. Like many things in life, this museum gives back what you put into it. Our group including 3 teens, age 12 to 15 spent 3 hours inside and an hour outside. The teens participated in a scavenger hunt and were given a prize upon completion. The museum itself has lots of little gems if you take the time to search them out and can be accomplished in three hours very easily, but many spend much less time. We learned a lot about Golden and the people the museum highlights. Exhibits evidently do change and we'll be back again. Woody's Pizza is a great finish to the day.

We stopped in here when visiting Golden, as we always like to check out the town’s visitor center and/or museum when we are in a new town. We’ve been to dozens of similar venues, but this one was one of the better we’ve experienced, especially for a town the size of Golden. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, asked repeatedly if we wanted any more info, and were regaled with various local anecdotes by the staff and volunteers. The exhibits were quite well done and very interesting. We especially liked looking at the Holland House exhibit, including checking out the old menus, as well as walking through the outdoor trail on the river.

Scavenger hunt is fun for kids. My kids enjoyed the play area as well. Very friendly staff. Wish they had more historical artifacts from the cabins nearby or more about miners since that is a big deal in that area.

Nestled in the heart of Golden, Bella Colibri is a charming Italian dining destination that has quickly become a favorite since its recent opening. This upscale restaurant specializes in Southern Italian cuisine, offering an exquisite menu filled with homemade pastas, fresh seafood, Colorado lamb, and perfectly cooked steaks—all presented with artistic flair. The ambiance exudes rustic elegance, making it an ideal spot for romantic evenings or family gatherings alike.
Golden is seriously lacking in high quality options for a date night but this is one of the few that I’d recommend. Food was all top notch, with great cocktails, fresh made pasta, and seasonal ingredients. Everything we had was great. Our waitress recommended the potato gnocchi with beef cheek which was very comforting on a cold winter day. My wife had a lighter vegetarian pasta dish with homemade pesto. The cocktail that I ordered was balanced and well made. We also had the homemade sourdough, served with 4 different topping options! My only wish was that the chocolate cake we had for dessert be served warm. It came with a citrus sauce and candy orange peel, both of which accompanied the cake perfectly! We will be back!

Dining at Bella Colibri is always a wonderful time. The food is incredible and the service is top-notch. So much so that my then-fiance and I decided we'd rent out the whole place have our wedding dinner at BC. Everything was perfect. From the very beginning and throughout the planning process, Chef John made us feel confident and we knew we were in the best of hands. Day of, Events Director, Jen, was attentive to every detail. The food was amazing (we created a custom menu). The drinks were delicious. And the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. I couldn't recommend Bella Colibri highly enough for ANY occasion. Thank you John, Jen, and the entire Bellas team!!! (Florals by TeeLee Florals in Golden! Photos by Brooke Buchan www.brookebuchan.com).

Had a fantastic meal here! The orcchiette was delicious, and the dessert special (peach upside cake with raspberry mascarpone, made with local ingredients) was truly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Service was excellent and cocktails were fantastic. The food had a great presentation but not much flavor couldn’t even taste the listed ingredient.
Tanya E — Google review
Patio setting was nice and the service was fine. Food was so-so, I did not feel that the price was justified by the quality, quantity or presentation. Meh...Lobster was pretty rubbery and the pork belly was more like little potato pieces, soft not crispy and way too many. Asparagus salad was OK. Wine was fairly priced. Probably will not return but not angry about it...so many other options out there with better food and less expensive (we knew the prices going in so we were not surprised/shocked) just underwhelmed.
Penn B — Google review
Amazing place for high-end Italian fare. Service was off the charts and the best starters you can find. The Lasagne Bella was simply amazing. They also had a Chef’s Bar where you can eat your meal while watching the Chefs work. They give you samples of what they are preparing as you watch. So cool. Will absolutely be back!

I have been here probably 15 times, I’d definitely consider myself a foodie who is picky and I think their food is all excellent. The Colorado School of Mines is located in the charming city of Golden, which boasts a rich cultural heritage and a variety of attractions. Additionally, the city is home to the renowned Coors Brewing Company and has become a hub for the mountain bike industry. The school itself is highly regarded, with a small yet vibrant campus that attracts talented students.
Bad reviews are from people that couldn't cut it. Yes we spent about the same as CU but an engineering degree from Mines is worth about 4 times more over a lifetime career. It's difficult but if it wasn't would it be worth it?

The school would not give me transcripts directly; I had to use "Parchment," an online service that is very difficult to use, and rarely works. The school has become lazy and outsourced this service, even though alumni as myself have spent tens of thousands of dollars attending this place.

Administration has hit a new low in quality. 80% money grab over just a few decades ago. Parking is also outrageous, little to no review process, with tickets given freely curb to curb. Avoid this campus.
Roberto C — Google review
As visitor prospective, this campus seems small and limited spaces but views are beautiful, designed areas are not easy to find and understand, campus polices seem aggressive in patrol which could be better safety or too many issues around campus
Boon B — Google review
Great academics, but questionable management. Mines was able to prepare me for a great career and the professors are great, but the administration/management seems to be very intent on wasting money on projects that do not need to be done. They destroyed half of Mines Park to redo twenty-year-old student housing that did not need to be torn down. They are constantly tearing down and rebuilding buildings that do not need to be torn down. I worry for the endowment of this school, as they are clearly not using it effectively.

Incredible, authentic tacos with delicioussss (and very big) margaritas, and maybe best of all, very nice people who will explain the menu in such a helpful way. It was probably the best restaurant we went to while visiting the Denver area. Very casual - we were able to visit after hiking. The potato and queso taco was a surprise hit, and the chicharron taco and the steak taco were both amazing. The margaritas are also very much worth the money. ;) We plan to come back next time we’re in the area!

I love when restaurants have a certain dish that you can't find anywhere else. Today with the help of a very tentative owner and staff I found just that. Although I've never been a pork belly fan due to the mass amounts of fat (pork belly)that are usually served, this place is my one exception. The pork belly tacos with the perfect ratio from meat to fat. Delicately Cooked and placed on three tacos with an in-house signature habanero sauce. Did I mention to have their own hot sauces for sale! As the owner told me,"check it out!"

Foothills Art Center was the perfect destination venue to host our 60 guest wedding on July 5, 2019. The exhibit on display and the flow of the entire reservation was perfect. We had our ceremony on their beautiful lawn, the cocktail hour was in the sculpture garden out front and we hosted the reception in the main hall indoors. The acoustics were excellent, and the venue is well air conditioned. Maura worked closely with each of our vendors to make sure they would fit with the venue comfortably. We chose this brewery because my best friend is celiac, and their menu 100% gluten free. Sam started our experience at the bar, and this human is a gem of a being. Wonderful, witty, and wise—he started out by recommending different options on tap and we each found our fit after a few tastings. After, we went out to the patio and met Zach, who started the fire pit and made sure we were comfortable. Our party of 4 quickly spent three hours chatting and drinking by the fire, and our visit was the top highlight of our trip. I encourage everyone to visit this wonderful spot of peace—you won’t regret it!

Excellent gluten free beers, a casual and fun atmosphere, with great service from Lisa. It all makes for an enjoyable afternoon.

A dedicated gluten free brewery - sign me up!!!! Usually when i go to breweries I'm in a corner sipping on my flavorless hard seltzer but not at Holidaily brewing!!! They had a variety of beers and all tasted great. They have a nice little seating area inside plus some outdoor seating. They are also pet friendly so bring your dogs and enjoy the chill ambience. The service is friendly and quick. We got a flight and they brought it out to our table. They have a dedicated gluten free food truck outside for everyone to enjoy. You can check the food trucks that'll be available on the calendar posted on their website.

We came here for a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration!! Ha it was fantastic. I really didn’t want to leave. So many different beers on tap! I am proud to say I support a Woman Owned Local Gluten Free Brewery in Colorado!! I’m so glad that I recently asked our favorite corner liquor store to start carrying Holidaily gluten free beer!! I would come here more often but we live on the other side of town which is what makes this place so special!! I’d say come here for a few beers, go hiking in the area, then come back to take a case, 6pack or keg home!! Thank you girl for making a beer I can peacefully digest!! 😍

I just tasted the Darty Lager and although I like all of your beer it’s so nice to taste something like a Miller that I have been craving for years. So smooth and no after taste. Winning!

While visiting Denver two years ago, I picked up a couple of 4 packs at the store for home. I loved them! This time, I stopped at the brewery and had a flight and a snack. Even better! I choose their Belgium and Blonde; both on the lighter side. They have a great selection of beer including darker ones. The service was great even though they were busy.

Nestled in Golden, the American Mountaineering Museum stands as a tribute to the rich history and culture of mountaineering and rock climbing across North America. This captivating museum invites visitors to delve into an array of exhibits that highlight the progression of climbing gear, techniques, and remarkable stories from legendary climbers and their expeditions.
We've lived in Denver for 8 years and have been to all the museums we can find. But we always thought that this museum didn't apply to us as we're not involved in mountaineering. But today we thought we'd give it a try and it was great! It's located in the old Golden High School, which in itself is a treat to visit. The front door on the south side is not the entrance - you have to walk around to the door on the west or north side. Their are no employees. You check in at a kiosk, use a tablet to pay with credit card, or put cash in a box - genius! We spent about an hour looking at the exhibits and watching several interesting videos about amazing climbing treks. You can't miss the scale model of Mt Everest! We loved it!

A must visit for any mountaineering enthusiast or veteran. See famous artifacts from mountaineerings finest, and read stories of their feats and tragedies.

It was a quick museum stop, but I really enjoyed how I could move at my own pace. The price was a reasonable $5 for a self guided tour.
Andrew W — Google review
This place has an incredible rock wall just inside the back entrance. There's alot of little offices but the exhibit is in what I believe is an old auditorium If I have my history right this is the golden high school. I was deeply moved to see the climbers of Yosemite John long, Lynn Hill etc ...I think they might have even had a picture of my husband.
Tracy F — Google review
Great experience for any climber or alpinist, but also accessible to someone with no climbing experience. Very comprehensive history of climbing, including coverage of climbing pioneers unfamiliar to most modern climbers. The model of Everest is incredible, and for the first time I really understood the topography and the various routes to the summit. The only gripe I had was that some of the information is dated. For example, the Nose speed record is listed as Florine/Hirayama in 2002. Since then, it has been broken multiple times and has come down by over 45min,.

Best experience in Golden. A little secret gem. The lady who informed us and showed us around the museum was beyond very knowledgeable, intelligent, and full on amazing. If youre into rock climbing or the outdoors must see this place

Flea & Street Markets
The Golden Farmers Market is a popular spot for locals and visitors, open on Saturdays from June to October. The market offers a vibrant atmosphere with food and art stalls, live music, and various vendors. While it may not be the best place for produce shopping, it's perfect for enjoying artisanal goods and grabbing breakfast or lunch. Additionally, Golden hosts events like beer festivals and the Fine Arts Festival in August.
Dang, 2024 is a glow up year for Golden Farmer's Market! The number of fresh produce stands has exploded. Coffee options overfloweth. Prepared breakfast options abound. Local artisans and niche products are plentiful. The majority of Golden, myself included, use this weekly market as a free form of entertainment for small children. I love that I can start the morning with a run along Clear Creek, grab breakfast and coffee at the market, and then can take my kid to the library (or park) or bring out of town visitors to the Golden Museum or Washington Street. In upcoming years, I hope to see more international stands pop up like the Ukrainian food vendor that joined this year. I always look forward to the weekend markets and will be sad when the season is over!

The Golden Farmers Market is an absolute gem! One of the highlights each week is stopping by Eat a Peach—Jonathan and his experienced team always greet you with a smile and a beautiful selection of seasonal, local produce. They’re constantly introducing new and unique varieties, making every visit a fresh discovery. It’s a must-stop for anyone who values supporting local farms and eating with the seasons! 🥬🍅

This farmers market is just the right size, full of options but not overwhelming. There are various fruits, vegetables, coffee and pastries, craft, salad dressings, spices, soaps and body creams. You can get a breakfast strudel, a tamale, burrito or cupcake, sit at the comfortable designated area or by the water, take a walk by the creek or explore the nearby library. It start to get busy by 9 am but there is still parking nearby. I like how friendly and easygoing everyone is, a great way to spend your Saturday morning!

This farmers market is so beautiful. I enjoyed the raw whipped honey I got and some fresh “imperfect” peaches! My dog enjoyed some freeze dried dog treats. Had some lovely conversations with some vendors. Everyone was so nice and it was a dog friendly environment with water bowls around. The best water was found at the flower bouquet booth, they kept the water bowls nice and fresh for my dog! Great town and community !

Japanese restaurant
Nestled in Golden, Colorado, Nosu Ramen is a delightful culinary venture that opened its doors in late 2019. Co-founded by Brandon Bortles and chef Max Kofoed, both hailing from the area and with experience at the renowned Cholon Modern Asian, this ramen spot offers an exciting blend of traditional and innovative dishes.
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! The food, the service, the vibes— all chef’s kiss! I am celiac, and I am happy to say that I can have quite a few dishes. My all time favorite is the salmon bento. This place is a MUST when visiting Golden!
Meadow H — Google review
Cute restaurant but the tonkatsu ramen was pretty average. The broth missed the creaminess and instead, was very clear and soy sauce heavy. It tastes more like a Chinese noodle soup than Japanese tonkatsu ramen. The egg was also not jammy as expected. The pork belly was okay.
Don Z — Google review
Between the drinks and small bites to the ramen bowls, everything very enjoyable 🍜 They had daily specials and it sounded like some of the menu items were from the farmers market. Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating to our group. Would like to come back here again!
Reva G — Google review
I attended their Four Course Sake Dinner event and have to say it was AMAZING. Genuinely had the best ramen of my life (Blue Crab Ramen). The wagyu, hamachi, and lobster bao bun were also delicious. If you have the opportunity to go to an event of theirs, you can't miss it. Other people at the event were also raving about the food and shared how much they love Nosu which goes to show they truly put care into all their food, not just for special events. I'm excited to come back and try their summer menu! The owner Brandon was also super friendly and welcoming with everyone. If you want to support a small, local business that gives great quality and variety of food, I highly recommend giving them a try🙌
Jessica S — Google review
I'd say the food is good, the drink is good, and service is good. My only complaint is the price. I can never comprehend $13 for just four dumplings.
Tao L — Google review
Very vibey modern ramen shop! Food was excellent and well balanced, menu includes a lot of inspired traditional dishes as well as some creative homages to the homeland the dishes are based off of. I ordered the pork belly ramen, blistered shishito peppers, duck pork buns, and daily dumpling and all were impressive! Pork belly ramen included a good mix of savory and sweet components without any overbearing saltiness that tends to come with that sort of dish. The noodles were cooked to perfection with the correct degree of chewiness and flavor absorption. The poached egg lent well to the rest of the dish adding sheen and texture. The blistered shishitos were a good mix of subtle spiciness and acidity which made them very approachable. The duck pork buns had an elegant sweetness that made every bite worthwhile, they didn't last long. The daily dumpling was an excellent expression of a pork gyoza that also avoided the typical pitfalls of over saltiness or simplification. Sara the bartender was friendly and helpful with offering suggestions. The sake selection was appropriate and not overbearing. The whiskey selection was very extensive and tempting. Will be eating here again in the future!

We came here before a movie, and were so impressed. I would say best meal I’ve ever had in Golden? We came during happy hour and got delicious discount cocktails and starters. The food was memorable.
McKenzie B — Google review
Had the Duck Bao and the Pork Belly Ramen. The Duck Bao is great (albeit very sweet), but the Ramen is awful. The chef must have mixed up sugar and salt, because the broth tastes like humming bird food. No actual flavor, only sweetness. The pork belly and egg were cooked great, however. Maybe Nosu will change up their broth, but until then this place is nasty. Even despite the poor taste, for the price, portions are very small.

Tributary Food Hall & Market is a delightful culinary destination that opened its doors in April 2019, marking Golden's first food hall. This vibrant space features an array of vendors serving up global cuisine, specialty coffee, craft beer, and delectable desserts. With new additions like Opa Cocina Gyros and Tacos and Barefoot BBQ joining beloved original spots such as Generous Coffee Shop and Amore Gelato, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Love the cozy atmosphere here! After visiting one too many overly loud, extra crowded food halls this was a refreshing change of pace. Can 100% recommend the charcuterie board from Mr. Miner’s and the poke bowl from Hello Poke. The poke sauce was actually spicy and super delicious (so tired of bland sauces). My kids felt welcome and had plenty of kid menu options. It was a pleasant night and I look forward to returning.

Awesome spot that’s fairly but packed with lots of good options. We stopped in early for breakfast at Generous Coffee Shop and was impressed with their veggie sandwich and veggie bowl. Their black coffee was good. Seating isn’t plentiful especially if there’s a rush but it was a good spot to watch an early World Cup game. Service was good. I’d return and try out Opa Cocina, Hello Poke, or Sokare.
E L — Google review
We were looking for a place to enjoy a drink and have a snack after a long day. So glad we checked out the Tributary. We ordered the charcuterie platter ($29) and it was plenty for 3 people. The bread was fresh and the meats/cheeses flavorful. It took about 15 minutes to make so we enjoyed drinks from the bar, including local beers. We liked that there were a variety of food offerings in this hall, so it was possible for picky eaters to find something they wanted. My daughter wanted to try the Poke Bowl, but after the charcuterie we were full and didn’t need dinner. I recommend outside seating if you can find it.
Laura M — Google review
While in Golden we ate here multiple times. We stuck with Mr Miner's. But those we were with like the waffles, BBQ and more. Nice location to give all a variety of choices. Try it, you will like it!
Rick B — Google review
1. There are really good food choices. 2. If you order from different places you will most likely be getting food at different times. 3. Our group ordered food from Mr Miner's Meat and Cheese and Hello Poke. The garlic bread grilled cheese with tomato soup and the grilled eggplant sandwich looked good and were well received. The rice bowl from Hello Poke was prepared per the order sheet submitted. The tempura shrimp were crisp and the veggies were fresh. 4. We ordered gelato from Amore Gelato. The portions were generous and the gelato was good. 5. Opa Cocina never had an employee at the counter when I was looking to order (over 15 min). I wanted tacos but moved on. 6. Hello Poke had a rush of people so it took a while to get the order. Not a complaint just the reality of a food court set up.

Stumbled upon this great lil place by accident and was not disappointed...lots to choose from inside this lil place and very cozy. I got an amazing turkey sandwhich(which I had been searching for all day) simple but so delish and being from dairy land I was expecting the jalapeño cheese curds i ordered to be underwhelming but was wrong and so surprised...they were f##king amazing! 👏 😋 I would highly recommend checking this place out...a lil something for everyone here.
Natasha R — Google review
We stopped here with a group of 13 for breakfast, when every other breakfast option in Golden was packed. The Breakfast Time booth offered a great variety to choose from, and our group had everything from smoothies to pancakes to breakfast burritos and quesadillas. The service was wonderful, the owners of the booth beyond polite and they thought that the wait was too long for our food, so they gifted the students with a free scoop of ice cream (or gelato?!) everyone loved their food choices, and the pico de gallo, and salsa verde for the burritos and quesadillas were some of the best I’ve ever had! We are glad we stopped here for breakfast!

Its expansive beer garden is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a rotating selection of food trucks while sipping on their signature Kippstander Kolsch, known for its light and balanced flavor. The outdoor space welcomes dogs, adding to the laid-back atmosphere.
Loved their blueberry one service is great. They had a great outdoor sitting area with plenty of shade a food truck very easy to get to love the atmosphere the artwork that was for sale. Plenty of selection a beer not long line. The prices were reasonable. You’ll have a little bit of a hard time with parking in the area as it is for all of Golden anymore

Mountain Toad is in a great location right in Golden. You should know there isn't a lot of parking on site, but there is street parking around and it is easy to get to on foot. Inside there is a good amount of room to sit, relax and enjoy a beer. Outside, there is a great space with picnic tables and umbrellas to avoid the sunlight. On tap there is lots of choice, but I would go for either the Hazy, or the Pilsner. Those were both refreshing and easy to drink. Food truck seem to visit regularly, when I arrived there was a BBQ one setting up, but I didn't have time to eat as I had time for just a beer. I would certainly go back to visit if I wad in Golden again.

Visited Mountain Toad after a friend recommended it to me. Great selection of unique brews, fantastic outdoor seating both in the sun and shade. Umbrellas available on the patio made for an enjoyable afternoon after a long hike. Picked up a bag of chips from the denver chip co which paired perfectly with my brew. Nestled on Colorow Road in Golden, Colorado, the Boettcher Mansion is a century-old historic home offering sweeping views and a glimpse into local history. Built in 1917 with local timber and rock, this opulent summer retreat was once owned by an influential businessman. Preserved to near original condition, the mansion showcases historical information, luxurious furniture, art, and housewares from its era.
As a wedding photographer I think Boettcher Mansion is amazing if you’re looking for a venue that feels like it is deep in the mountains but still has great connections to the Denver metro area. The Mansion is surrounded by forest and there are great mountain overlooks just across the street.

This place is absolutely beautiful. If you're in colorado, I highly suggest you take the time to make the drive and see the beautiful things that man has created.
Jason J — Google review
The Boettcher Mansion is a fairytale venue! It is absolutely gorgeous inside, but the outdoor space is what really sold us. When my husband and I got married in June the flowers were in full bloom, and we were surrounded by butterflies. The mansion is in a pine forest and has fantastic mountain views (the lookout in the photo is just across the street). We really wanted our wedding to feel like a mountain, wildflower fantasy and Boettcher was perfect! All the staff at Boettcher are amazing! We primarily worked with Dana and Shea, who were both incredibly well organized and helpful throughout the planning process. Overall, Boettcher was our dream venue, and I would highly recommend it!
Emma P — Google review
We had our wedding at Boettcher Mansion in June and the venue couldn't have been more perfect! We wanted a venue that felt like it was in the mountains while still being easily accessible to the Denver metro area. It was a beautiful location and such a unique venue - we (and our guests) loved it. We worked with their event coordinator, Shea, for over a year and she was always prompt and helpful when answering all of our questions. Highly recommend Boettcher Mansion as a wedding venue!
Stephanie B — Google review
We had our wedding here on July 19th 2025, and my husband and I could not have been happier with our decision. They were so friendly and easy to work with, and we were very grateful for their high level of organization and communication skills, which helped keep us on track and not forget anything. The garden was absolutely breathtaking at this time of year, and we did minimal decorating because the mansion itself was so beautiful already. It did get a little hot inside since they don't have A/C, but this was only an issue for dancing. We ended up taking the dance party outside to the patio, which ended up being so much fun! We cannot recommend this venue enough!
Amanda V — Google review
Very, very peaceful location to hang out. Enjoyed just hanging out in the "Pine" room (my favorite room)
Sam T — Google review
When we were at lookout mountain trying to find some trails reviews but they were too icy. We did come across this house and the people were kind enough to let us in and do itself guided tour. A lot of great information for the history about the place wasn't really informative and the family what they did was very interesting. We really enjoyed looking through the house. There was a trail we did hike behind this house that was a little snow covered but that we could do it with our boots and no yak tracks
Elizabeth S — Google review
We had the most charming wedding at Boettcher Mansion in September of 2023! We can't express enough gratitude to their staff for their warmth and flexibility every step of the way from our initial tour, to planning/booking, to the actual wedding day. Shea was incredibly kind and supportive during our planning phase; her and Dana were absolutely fantastic! We especially appreciated having separate bridal and groom suites on different floors for getting ready and we loved that the venue reservation is for the entire premises, ensuring there's no overlap with other events. Situated close to Denver but still nestled in the mountains, it offered the best of both worlds for us and our guests. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the full kitchen was a big plus for our caterers. The backdrop of trees on the patio and the picturesque views across the street made for stunning photo opportunities! It truly was the most unforgettable night of our lives. A huge thank you to the entire Boettcher Mansion team for all your hard work!
