Sunday morning breakfast. This was a great choice. Cute diner downtown Goden, what's not to love. My biggest complaint would be I like diners to have a quaint, simplicity about them. A feel-good spot, if you know what I mean. I don't feel like The Golden Diner had that vibe. However, what they lack in grandma's kitchen feel they make up for with their food. I had the Dude. It was a HUGE portion. It was delicious. I like my green chili to have a bit more spice than the chili had but there were very solid flavors. I also had a side of smoked brisket sausage.... YES!!! That was 100% the highlight of my meal. the portion was generous, and the smoke flavor was incredible. My partner got the chicken fried steak. The gravy had to have been made in house (we found our diner, grandma comfort). It was exactly what you want from gravy. The chicken fried steak appeared to be hand breaded. If it wasn't they do good at what they do. Let's also not forget the mimosa. Go, go get a mimosa and smoked brisket sausage. Come back and thank me later.

Excellent spot. Not my first time in, but first time posting a review. The atmosphere is great. Definitely a favorite with the locals. A lot of good conversations taking place between tables. A very community feel. The food was great. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was tasty. The Bacon was thick and cooked just right. The coffee was tasty and hot. The hash browns were super crispy. A little thicker than most places, a nice touch. The only complaint I could possible come up with, and it is a small one, is that they only have Cholula hot sauce. I am more of a Tobasco guy when it comes to the popular hot sauces. I would highly recommend they look into getting some local hot sauce in house and I would specifically recommed Danny Cash (my favorite). Not enough to knock off a star, but not really a Cholula guy. The waitress was incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough for how nice she was and how good the service was. 5-stars all around!

This was my first time here. When I was nearly done, I got a chance to speak to the owner, David. Very passionate owner, the food was delicious. I love a proper gravy, not just flour and milk and grease, this is an actual recipe with delicious taste. The chicken fried steak was hot and crispy, everything, including the service was fantastic

6.5/10. Braised pork and eggs Ben were pretty tasty! Good job on hollandaise sauce, and pork was seasoned well. Fried potato was crunchy and delightful to have with some hot sauce and pork. Service was slightly frantic yet slow, a most peculiar combination. Noise was a typical diner loudness, everyone’s trying to talk a bit louder than the next table. Great food, sub par service, might come back if it’s empty.

Best place for real breakfast in Golden. Don't miss the cinnamon donut holes and fruit bowl. The donuts are perfect with creme anglais and the delicious homemade strawberry jam and the fruit bowel is a perfect assorted berries, pineapple-sweer & delicious! We tried nearly everything on the menu over 3 days and it was all good and good sized portions. The juice is delicious but the coffee whole in a nice mug could use improvement, skip it.

We were visiting for 4 days and had breakfast here twice. Everything was great and a huge variety on the menu from healthy to a lots of carbs.

Great service and awesome food. Pricing is fair. I had the burrito and it was really good. Their brisket sausage is really something special. Also, very cool art work!

This was our last stop before heading back to Flat Florida. And I guess we did in fact save the best for last. My husband and I both got the breakfast burrito and wow it was so delicious so many flavors that complimented each other so well. The service was great everyone was so kind. We got there around 9 and it was very busy but the line moved a long quickly. It’s been 3 months since I’ve been here and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. I will be back again someday! We both got a caramel iced latte and they were also delicious. Great place. Clean. Fast. Courteous. And quality. You can’t really ask for more.

Food was absolutely delicious. The place is very cozy. It does get a little packed but well worth the wait! I highly recommend the Cuban latte. The golden platter and the Italian scallion sandwich was very very good!

I was walking around downtown Golden looking for a healthy option for lunch. Cafe 13 was recommended for their menu which includes a few breakfast items, salads, and vegetarian options. I opted for the Thai Chicken Salad and a bowl of Green Chili. Both were good. The salad had fresh ingredients and was filling. The chili had great flavor and a good kick of spiciness to it. I definitely ordered too much food for myself! I didn't realize how large the salad was going to be but I was happy about the portion size for the cost. The staff is very friendly. I would say this place is a bit loud- there were a lot of conversations going on around me. If you plan to come here for a quiet lunch or to get some work done, I recommend bringing headphones.

The view is great here and the outdoor seating is so cozy! We got a dirty chai latte and a pistachio latter, they were both really good but we liked the pistachio best. We also got a cinnamon pull-apart and a rhubarb hazelnut Danish that were delicious. We didn't wait long in line buy by the time we left the line was out the door.

Outstanding service and food. We brought our dog and sat on the rather large patio. The patio is shaded and plenty of tables. We ate the Aussie bowl. Very good!. Be sure to try the lavender or blackberry lattes.

Ordered a vegan burrito, so good!! Outdoor seating area is nice! I came around 9am on a Friday morning and waited in line about 5 minutes, maybe 10 more minutes waiting on them to bring my food. Highly recommend! The burritos are huge!

10/10 best restaurant for girls night or a date night. Brock is the best server and love seeing him every time my bestie and i stop in here. Even if we’re not in his section, he still makes a point to stop by and check in with us. Service is impeccable, food is top notch and i neverrrrrrr get sick of their espresso martinis and fried pickles. The indulge chicken salad is always my go to and so is the lemon berry cake. My bestie and i will yap here for hours and never feel pressured or like we’re a bother. We make a reservation every time but definitely suggest a reservation on the weekends. 🍸🩷

After visiting this place for a second time (only because we had a gift card) I can confirm this is the worst restaurant in downtown Golden. This was our $18 club sandwich that I could have made at home in two minutes. I've never seen such a sad club sandwich come out of a restaurant kitchen. I would have been more forgiving if it at least tasted good but it was on the same level as a 7-Eleven grab and go. Go to literally any of the other great restaurants downtown.

We had dinner here in a Saturday night. I had made a reservation earlier in the day and there was no wait time for us to be seated. The atmosphere was lovely and their wine list is quite impressive. I ordered the roasted chicken dish and my husband had the shrimp linguine, both of which were to die for! If you smothered a sandal with the gravy that comes with the chicken I'd probably eat it, it's that good. We also had their Brussels sprouts which were so yummy and their lava cake for dessert. Overall a delicious meal and will definitely be coming back for date night!

Rehearsal dinner cancelled on last minute by a restaurant around the corner from Indulge. Mother of the Groom calls Indulge 2 hours before we are supposed to have 30+ people arrive for dinner… the GM, Adrian was heaven-sent and worked the most insane magic we’ve ever seen… we arrived to a romantic setting with charcuterie and appetizers ready to go, a beautiful menu of prepared courses and the most dreamy dessert options. The service was impeccable and more than we could have asked for. Sometimes being cancelled on leads to the best experience and Indulge definitely came through!!! ✨🫶✨

Good service. The food at Indulge is pretty basic, which isn't really a problem, a lot of steakhouses do basic food very well. The problem is that the preparation is frequently mediocre at best. There are better restaurants in Golden at this price point.

The outdoor patio has great views and it’s easy to get a table here when the surrounding restaurants are on a long wait list. The Greek salad was delicious and the wine menu is extensive, but our main entrees were disappointing. The spaghetti and meatballs did not taste homemade and the steak was over cooked (we ordered medium rare). The service was great but the food was subpar.

Great relaxed but not loud atmosphere. Food excellent: fluffy pancakes, crisp bacon, and perfect scrambled eggs. I got the cinnamon latte and my wife got the black & white mocha. Both very good! Small touches that we appreciated too: soft butter, warm syrup, & we told them we were splitting an entree and they did it in the kitchen on two plates. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to try the food at Blue Sky. Our party of six was told the wait would be around 15–30 minutes, which was completely reasonable. However, we ended up waiting well over an hour with no clear updates. Our friends, who were visiting from out of town, eventually had to get back on the road, so we left without being seated. We were able to get into another restaurant right away, which made the long wait here even more disappointing. While we can’t comment on the food, the lack of communication and extended wait time means we won’t be returning. 😞 If you have party over 4 you may want to try a different establishment.

Nothing to get eggcited about. Just average and lacking flavor. Staff seemed ok but not happy to be there. Bonus: I found a haircut in my omelet.

Great sweet potato waffles with bacon. Very noisy, especially when latte machine is running. But you can sit outside if too noisy for you. Great service. I won't go again, except to go at a less busy time, or sit outdoors because of the noise. Maybe if they installed noise deading tiles in ceiling or walls? Tables were kinda small to fit four people's orders on. Even though we went on Monday for 11 am lunch, we didn't have to wait for a table.

Checked out Blue sky cafe this morning with my daughter for a special breakfast we never get to do, we chose Blue sky because it was a neutral meeting spot, wish we hadn't! Food was completely underwhelming and outrageously overpriced. (Looks like others have had the same experience after reading the real reviews) I ordered the great American breakfast with biscuits and "sausage" gravy. Came with 2 chalky caned biscuits with a extremely bland white gravy, no seasoning, and no sausage at all in it, tasted like glue. 2 tiny strips of bacon, some overcooked crunchy potatoes and eggs scrambled with no seasoning or cheese, asked for a little sprinkle of cheese on top but was told that was an extra 3$ bucks, i declined. My daughter had the avocado and bacon cheddar omelet...came with hardly any cheese inside, microscopic pieces of bacon, and same overcooked potatoes with 2 tiny english muffins. She ordered a tiny little side of hollandaise sauce that was the size of quarter in a baby ramekin that she said also was terrible...sauce was also $3 extra and broken, (liquid, not thick creamy sauce, that was clearly noticeable and runny) I had a house coffee, she had a specialty coffee the pistachio latte that was $10. Just these few items! Nothing else came with a bill that was $55 dollars without a tip!!! Making this meal with a tip over $65 dollars!! Yikes!!! Nothing worse than paying hard earned money for overpriced tasteless food and wasting a rare chance to go out to eat with my daughter. One thing I cant stand is when I/we pay good money for a culinary experience and it's a complete flop. I could of just made us a much better meal @ home for a fraction of the cost of this meal. Way overpriced, and completely mediocre if not terrible food. Wont ever be going back and was very disappointed with the entire experience. Save your money or try somewhere else. Blue sky Cafe is a total miss....!!!! Looks like they are paying for reviews on top of everything else, You can tell what reviews are real, all the terrible ones...I would give this place a half star or no stars if it was an option.

Went for brunch and it was delicious 😋. Got duck confit egg Benedict and they are to die for. Only thing was I thought the eggs them selves need a liiiitle bit of salt. But they weren't bland or anything, but the salad and the potatoes were also delicious 🤤🤤 can't wait to come back

This lovely little restaurant is truly tucked away in its own little hole in the wall, there’s outstanding cozy patio seating, and a stunning interior that feels antique but not antiquated. The service was friendly, quick & informative. Our waiter made great recommendations. The food is amazing, with a great selection of seasonal items. Our table had the Scallop appetizers and Little Gem Salads and I ordered the Salmon. It was cooked perfectly with a great crust and a delicious yogurt sauce. Everything tastes fresh with great depth of flavors. Best of all nothing was overly heavy or dense. Their wine & dessert selection are great as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Started off great when I found my favorite wine that I have never seen on a US menu. The food was generally very good though small portions for the price (with the exception of the bread service which was delicious and added to our lunch the next day. The carrot and frisee salad was good but way over salted as noted to the server. The squash dish was excellent.

The service was great, friendly and attentive staff all around. The food was OK, but the coffee was a joke (at least it was cheap). One downside was the loud, out-of-place music playing outside, which didn’t match the restaurant vibe. I’d suggest spending a few minutes curating a good playlist on Spotify; it really impacts the overall dining experience.

My mom and I went to Golden for the first time for our annual mother/daughter trip. I booked us a reservation at Abejas for dinner one night and it exceeded both of our expectations! We were greeted by the manager/Sommelier. I think we had booked it for an outside table, but he said they were expecting rain and we decided to dine inside (good call b/c it did end up raining). The menu had seasonal/farm-to-table options. Our server, Lauren, was amazing! She was easy to talk to, great personality, explained items on the menu, and made recommendations. I got the mussels and these were for sure in my top 5 mussel experiences every. They were so big, the broth was amazing, and the bread it was served with was a rosemary sourdough. The Sauvy B wine was a perfect pairing. My mom got the strawberry salad and enjoyed. After dinner we relocated to the bar for a few cocktails and their mixologist did a fantastic job on all the cocktails. I would 10/10 recommend visiting Abejas next time you're in Golden.

What I really appreciate about Bonfire Burritos is their values—especially giving leftover food to those in need instead of wasting it. Big respect for that. It was my second visit, and while the food is solid (the Chupacabras burrito is tasty and super filling), the dining area could use a bit more attention—dirty tables and paper on the floor made it feel a bit neglected. Service is quick, and the staff is young and friendly. I like the small menu—it gives the impression that everything’s fresh. However, they serve everything in disposable containers, even if you're eating in, which creates a lot of unnecessary waste. I think asking customers if it's dine-in or takeout could help reduce that. Overall, it’s a quiet, casual spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Expect to spend around $20 per person with a drink. I’ll definitely be back.

The hype is real! We did some research while in Golden and wanted to get some bomb burritos at a local joint and this was the spot we chose. The line for food was long but they are super efficient so it didn’t take long to order. From there you can chill, vibe out and listen to the music while you wait for your food. We got a burrito and a bowl a both were 10/10! If you get the chance to stop in, totally recommend.

This was our first meal after landing at airport. We were on our way to the mountains, and it was the perfect pitstop for breakfast burritos! There was a line but it went fast. They have their operation down to a tee. We got two burritos and they were bomb!!! So good. Can’t wait to go back.

Burritos were absolutely amazing! Out of this world good. Menu was a little tough to read because the screen moved and we didnt know they had beers or that it was happy hour when we got there so that would have been nice to know. Even though its outside wish the flys and bees were a bit more under control. Didn't see anything that would help with them. But other than those minor things would absolutely go back and recommend!

Best burrito I’ve ever had. Music was a bit much for 10:30 am Girl that gave me my bag was SUPER jaded, and got it wrong anyway. Long lines are always indicative of great food and Bonfire delivers. Staff could be less aggressive and transactional. 🫤 Worth the wait, but don’t engage the staff.

Someone in Breckinridge recommended this place after hearing my search for a breakfast burrito that wasn’t mush. I got the deluxe!!! Carne asada is grilled on site and the butter salsa is yummm!!! Don’t expect to get your burrito to go if it’s your first time! I highly recommend enjoying the vibe. Someone made a post about the floor being dirty and I almost didn’t go! First off this place had covered outdoor seating, secondly I guess dirty is perspective! I thought it was clean, compared to other places I’ve been I appreciated not having a million flies and mosquitoes around me while eating!

An amazing place. Family owned One of those places that reminds you what the working American family represents. 2+2+2 is the best you could ask for. The pancakes are delicious. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere is preferable to those chain cafes that only fatten the wallets of corporate America. Go to these cafes; that's what this country needs.

We stopped on the way to Estes Park from the Denver Airport. The food was excellent with timely service. When the servicer found out it was Matha's birthday, she comped her entire meal. We thanked them, adding that my birthday was in two days. My meal was comped also. With a bill of zero, we thanked them and tipped the waitress generously. Great food.. great people.

I order off the appetizer menu but it was a great portion of food to be a full meal. Everything was hot and the food came pretty quickly. The bartender/waitress did the best she could do by herself. Overall it was good. I would like to note, these are the best, crispy French fries I've ever had!!!

Really cool biker bar! Absolutely loved the decor, the outside dining area and stage, as well as the delicious food! Bathrooms could’ve been a little cleaner, but they weren’t terrible. Service was a tad slow in my opinion, but the waitress/bartender was very kind. Everyone here seemed in good spirits, including the staff. I appreciated that the bartender called a Lyft for a very, very drunk man and walked him to the car. The house salad with ranch was absolutely delicious and my friend really enjoyed the nachos and French dip with fries. Overall, not a bad experience!

Now this bar had the coolest outside bar, it's a tough place, bartenders were busy talking and hanging out but the outside looked amazing. Didn't get to eat here but menu looked good. It's a biker bar right out of a movie so be cool

Traveling through Denver and staying near Golden. Dirty Dogs was close and they had meatloaf. Was slow but the bartender was super attentive, very efficient even as it started getting busier. Meatloaf was good. I would like to be here when it's jamming, should be a good time.

Dog friendly. They bring out a big bucket of water for your dogs. Super friendly service. Poppers were awesome and came out super fast. Good variety of music on the radio too.

Kona bowls is one of my favorite spots to visit in golden! The food here is amazing, and the service is top notch. Elizabeth was also the sweetest person and made my experience even better. This place is a must try!

Really disappointed with the quality of the food. None of the ingredients tasted good and many seemed distinctly not fresh — avocado was mushy, tuna was tough and tasted unpleasantly fishy, cucumber “kimchi” was actually just raw chunks of cucumber with some kind of kimchi-flavored spice powder sprinkled on top. Even the sauce was somehow both bland and sickly sweet. Split a bowl between two people and we couldn’t even finish it, gave us both a stomach ache as well. Poor and overpriced excuse for a “fresh” health food spot, will not return.

Hands down the cutest spot in Golden! The employees are so kind and welcoming, and the smoothies and açaí bowls are honestly the best in Colorado—so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Everything on the menu looks delicious, and it’s definitely a must-stop whenever you’re in town!

Stopped here on a whim since they had outdoor seating and gluten free options! I had my dog with me so we ordered using the kiosk at the door. I got the Colorado Açaí bowl and my pup got the pup bowl. My pup wasn’t impressed with the bananas but loved the peanut butter drizzled on it. Outside seating had umbrellas and were very clean.

My trip to Denver was for a show that was cancelled so making the best of the day we are exploring! Stumbled across Atomic Cowboy, my air bnb host also had this listed as a great option so I thought, why not? I got the Lola, a fried chicken sandwich with bacon smothered in maple syrup atop a French toast style biscuits. My friend got the Franklin, a beautiful fried chicken sandwich with bacon, sausage, added egg smothered in white gravy. Delicious with fast and friendly service! Usually I find the “morning coffee drinks” to be too strong but this is a perfect blend of coffee and alcohol. The body of the coffee perfectly covers the alcohol taste so it’s easy to drink. Pictured is mother’s iced latte (sub. Oat milk) and the espresso martini, both very tasteful and very smooth. I had a side biscuit to try their house made raspberry jam, and a Hawaiian style pizza slice. Both sides were wonderful! I’ll be adding this to my list of places I need to return to. Thank you for the great meal!

Atomic Cowboy has a really fun, energetic atmosphere. The service was great – super friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable, and it's definitely a good spot to hang out with friends for food and drinks. It was my first time there with friends and family, and we had a blast. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a lively place with good vibes.

Visited Atomic Cowboy with my totally blind mom (that's important soon) and the two young boys I care for. First, we got seated right away. I was tickled by that. The food was very good. I got the only burger the make. I was impressed, but the burger sauce had too many of chunks of pickles in it for my liking but that's just me. Other than that, it was quite good....and HUGE. The fries were slightly overcooked but fine for basic waffle fries. The pizza looks amazing! I inte0nd to go back for pizza soon. Food aside, the staff was incredible!! Like I said I had two youngsters with me and my blind mom. I asked our waitress Anneke, if should possibly assist my mom to the bathroom...just get her to the door. She did no questions asked. Anneke also came to le t me know that her manager knew to also watch for mom to come out to get her back to the table. I could not be happier with service we were provided. Thank you, Anneke. First and last time eating there The food was horrible. The service was bad. We had two different waiters when I asked one of the staff members if they had regular butter he told me most definitely not come to find out they do had to wait forever for refills. Had to wait forever for the check I had a biscuit eggs and bacon. It was very salty and the biscuit wasn’t done all the way my husband had mushroom gravy which looked disgusting and he said it tasted horrible and made him sick. My brother-in-law had a hamburger he said it was good and my sister had granola. You can’t really mess up that it was a big disappointment.

5 stars for Adam, 5 stars for the food! This place is a GEM! The fried chicken Lola, the biscuit, the grits like whatttt? Adam was amazing and made the bloody mary perfect and gave us a little history of Atomic Cowboy. Highly recommend over any other “classic” restaurant in the area. The food is bomb! 🙌🏼

Considering it’s a quick service restaurant the food was awesome! The biscuits that come with the meal are splendid. I got the Lights out Burger and it induced a savory silence as I was briefly unable to think about anything except the next bite. In the picture is the DBC Chicken Sandwich, which was also of course, exquisite.
