Sunday morning breakfast. This was a great choice. Cute diner downtown Goden, what's not to love. My biggest complaint would be I like diners to have a quaint, simplicity about them. A feel-good spot, if you know what I mean. I don't feel like The Golden Diner had that vibe. However, what they lack in grandma's kitchen feel they make up for with their food. I had the Dude. It was a HUGE portion. It was delicious. I like my green chili to have a bit more spice than the chili had but there were very solid flavors. I also had a side of smoked brisket sausage.... YES!!! That was 100% the highlight of my meal. the portion was generous, and the smoke flavor was incredible. My partner got the chicken fried steak. The gravy had to have been made in house (we found our diner, grandma comfort). It was exactly what you want from gravy. The chicken fried steak appeared to be hand breaded. If it wasn't they do good at what they do. Let's also not forget the mimosa. Go, go get a mimosa and smoked brisket sausage. Come back and thank me later.

Excellent spot. Not my first time in, but first time posting a review. The atmosphere is great. Definitely a favorite with the locals. A lot of good conversations taking place between tables. A very community feel. The food was great. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was tasty. The Bacon was thick and cooked just right. The coffee was tasty and hot. The hash browns were super crispy. A little thicker than most places, a nice touch. The only complaint I could possible come up with, and it is a small one, is that they only have Cholula hot sauce. I am more of a Tobasco guy when it comes to the popular hot sauces. I would highly recommend they look into getting some local hot sauce in house and I would specifically recommed Danny Cash (my favorite). Not enough to knock off a star, but not really a Cholula guy. The waitress was incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough for how nice she was and how good the service was. 5-stars all around!

This was my first time here. When I was nearly done, I got a chance to speak to the owner, David. Very passionate owner, the food was delicious. I love a proper gravy, not just flour and milk and grease, this is an actual recipe with delicious taste. The chicken fried steak was hot and crispy, everything, including the service was fantastic

6.5/10. Braised pork and eggs Ben were pretty tasty! Good job on hollandaise sauce, and pork was seasoned well. Fried potato was crunchy and delightful to have with some hot sauce and pork. Service was slightly frantic yet slow, a most peculiar combination. Noise was a typical diner loudness, everyone’s trying to talk a bit louder than the next table. Great food, sub par service, might come back if it’s empty.

Best place for real breakfast in Golden. Don't miss the cinnamon donut holes and fruit bowl. The donuts are perfect with creme anglais and the delicious homemade strawberry jam and the fruit bowel is a perfect assorted berries, pineapple-sweer & delicious! We tried nearly everything on the menu over 3 days and it was all good and good sized portions. The juice is delicious but the coffee whole in a nice mug could use improvement, skip it.

We were visiting for 4 days and had breakfast here twice. Everything was great and a huge variety on the menu from healthy to a lots of carbs.

Great service and awesome food. Pricing is fair. I had the burrito and it was really good. Their brisket sausage is really something special. Also, very cool art work!

What I really appreciate about Bonfire Burritos is their values—especially giving leftover food to those in need instead of wasting it. Big respect for that. It was my second visit, and while the food is solid (the Chupacabras burrito is tasty and super filling), the dining area could use a bit more attention—dirty tables and paper on the floor made it feel a bit neglected. Service is quick, and the staff is young and friendly. I like the small menu—it gives the impression that everything’s fresh. However, they serve everything in disposable containers, even if you're eating in, which creates a lot of unnecessary waste. I think asking customers if it's dine-in or takeout could help reduce that. Overall, it’s a quiet, casual spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Expect to spend around $20 per person with a drink. I’ll definitely be back.

The hype is real! We did some research while in Golden and wanted to get some bomb burritos at a local joint and this was the spot we chose. The line for food was long but they are super efficient so it didn’t take long to order. From there you can chill, vibe out and listen to the music while you wait for your food. We got a burrito and a bowl a both were 10/10! If you get the chance to stop in, totally recommend.

This was our first meal after landing at airport. We were on our way to the mountains, and it was the perfect pitstop for breakfast burritos! There was a line but it went fast. They have their operation down to a tee. We got two burritos and they were bomb!!! So good. Can’t wait to go back.

Burritos were absolutely amazing! Out of this world good. Menu was a little tough to read because the screen moved and we didnt know they had beers or that it was happy hour when we got there so that would have been nice to know. Even though its outside wish the flys and bees were a bit more under control. Didn't see anything that would help with them. But other than those minor things would absolutely go back and recommend!

Best burrito I’ve ever had. Music was a bit much for 10:30 am Girl that gave me my bag was SUPER jaded, and got it wrong anyway. Long lines are always indicative of great food and Bonfire delivers. Staff could be less aggressive and transactional. 🫤 Worth the wait, but don’t engage the staff.

Someone in Breckinridge recommended this place after hearing my search for a breakfast burrito that wasn’t mush. I got the deluxe!!! Carne asada is grilled on site and the butter salsa is yummm!!! Don’t expect to get your burrito to go if it’s your first time! I highly recommend enjoying the vibe. Someone made a post about the floor being dirty and I almost didn’t go! First off this place had covered outdoor seating, secondly I guess dirty is perspective! I thought it was clean, compared to other places I’ve been I appreciated not having a million flies and mosquitoes around me while eating!

This is a popular tourist frequented spot, in the heart of Golden. It is super busy on the weekends and perhaps that is why the meal and experience was not what it could be. The service was rushed, quick, and to the point. It felt like we were at a drive up window with a line of impatient cars behind us--sorry no time for pleasantries, gotta go, go go. Even when he came back once to check on us, he was already leaving before we could nod that everything was fine. It wasn't. Aside from that the food was okay, at least the fajitas were served hot. Everything else was room temperature at best. To be fair, yes it was a Saturday afternoon. At 2:30 or so. Not exactly the lunch hour rush. So if you're in the mood for a fast food experience at a sit down restaurant, this may be for you. But if you want to enjoy a calm, relaxing lunch after a long beautiful mountain hike, this may not be it.

Came here and decided to give it a chance. Service was fast and she always came and checked in on us. Which to me is very important. My drink stayed full the whole time. We started with chips and salsa and Queso. The salsa and chips are okay, the Queso is ok too. Definitely could be better. They should change it to fun-dido. (If you don't know difference then queso is good). The wife got the chili relleno and she really liked it and was not able to eat it all. (Maybe because of the chips). I went ahead and got a burrito chimichanga style with fried jalapenos. And of course the wife finished it off with a desert which tasted very good. probably my favorite part. Overall I would come here again but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

Torrey was incredibly kind, and the Eggs Benedict were absolutely perfect. Everything was homemade, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I love this place!

We go here almost every time we are in Golden. They have the very special Barmen Pilsner from Coors there. Amazing dip trio and fajitas. Great outdoor patio overlooking Main Street. You can bring your dogs if you sit on the patio. Inside is nice too with a very southwestern look. Love the hotel it’s located in as well. Must stop by:))

I ordered the nachos with chicken, cheese quesadillas & chocolate brownie dessert w/ i e cream 1) I received nachos with no meat, 2) Flavorless quesadillas 3) cold, hard brownies with old/sour strawberries on top & no ice cream. Really gross & I actually paid $80 for this. This is definitely nowhere near tex-mex. Huge waste of money & definitely regret the $15 tip I left. Do not eat here. The best thing were the fries. That is it, that is all & that is an honest review.

I have never gone out of my way to leave a bad review, but this felt very necessary. My friends and I had a very unfortunate experience Wednesday evening that ensured I will never return to this place. I have some friends visiting from out of town, and after their 16 hour drive in, we decided to meet at this Table Mountain Grill and Cantina. We chose this place because it was getting later, 9 pm, and they were open until 11. We sat for a bit and were told that the kitchen was closing soon so we were quick about ordering. The food was nothing to write home about, but it wasn’t bad overall. After we ate we sat with some drinks to catch up. Our bartender was great and made sure to keep our drinks flowing. He then came around for last call and we had just one more drink. That’s about the time the second dude started lurking around. This man with his Gray hair and beard kept pop into the bar area giving our table the side eye. He had the vibe of a manager, but we would have never known because he never checked to see how our experience had been. Just part of the way through our final drinks, and about 30 min before they closed, he turned on the lights as bright as possible. My friend and I are both industry workers, so we know the tactics that people use to make people know it’s time to get going. HOWEVER, this is usually AFTER a restaurant closes, not 30 minutes before. As we finished up our drinks and conversation, this same man made it VERY clear he wanted us out of this business where we just spent about $50 a person at. He clapped his hands and exclaimed “Let’s go!” in frustration. We felt very rushed as they started stacking chairs and closing up shop. Like I said, my friend and I are longtime restaurant industry workers and know how it is. Restaurant etiquette goes both ways. We won’t stay a minute past closing time, but all we did was spend our money at this place and got treated like a nuisance. Unfortunately, a restaurant’s atmosphere can be dictated by one individual running the place.

Awesome experience! After hiking at Golden Gate Canyon we decided to ditch the wait at Woody's (always take out of state visitors there) and so glad we did! Brian, our server, was hands down the best server I have ever met. Super personalble and attentive (Saturday night). Gave great recommendations for margs & food (get the spicy senorita & nachos with beef). Also Gluten Free!!! No reaction at all! My new fave in Golden. Great food. Epic service.

This was our last stop before heading back to Flat Florida. And I guess we did in fact save the best for last. My husband and I both got the breakfast burrito and wow it was so delicious so many flavors that complimented each other so well. The service was great everyone was so kind. We got there around 9 and it was very busy but the line moved a long quickly. It’s been 3 months since I’ve been here and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. I will be back again someday! We both got a caramel iced latte and they were also delicious. Great place. Clean. Fast. Courteous. And quality. You can’t really ask for more.

Food was absolutely delicious. The place is very cozy. It does get a little packed but well worth the wait! I highly recommend the Cuban latte. The golden platter and the Italian scallion sandwich was very very good!

I was walking around downtown Golden looking for a healthy option for lunch. Cafe 13 was recommended for their menu which includes a few breakfast items, salads, and vegetarian options. I opted for the Thai Chicken Salad and a bowl of Green Chili. Both were good. The salad had fresh ingredients and was filling. The chili had great flavor and a good kick of spiciness to it. I definitely ordered too much food for myself! I didn't realize how large the salad was going to be but I was happy about the portion size for the cost. The staff is very friendly. I would say this place is a bit loud- there were a lot of conversations going on around me. If you plan to come here for a quiet lunch or to get some work done, I recommend bringing headphones.

The view is great here and the outdoor seating is so cozy! We got a dirty chai latte and a pistachio latter, they were both really good but we liked the pistachio best. We also got a cinnamon pull-apart and a rhubarb hazelnut Danish that were delicious. We didn't wait long in line buy by the time we left the line was out the door.

Outstanding service and food. We brought our dog and sat on the rather large patio. The patio is shaded and plenty of tables. We ate the Aussie bowl. Very good!. Be sure to try the lavender or blackberry lattes.

Ordered a vegan burrito, so good!! Outdoor seating area is nice! I came around 9am on a Friday morning and waited in line about 5 minutes, maybe 10 more minutes waiting on them to bring my food. Highly recommend! The burritos are huge!

Great breakfast place with easy vibe. The avocado toast is large enough for two to share - unless you’re super hungry! Excellent coffee. The kids meal was perfectly sized.

Nice little cafe just under the “Welcome to Golden,” sign. Enjoyed a beer with lunch, had the Thunderbird turkey sandwich. Food is good, the service is decent, the atmosphere is terrific!

Nice coffee shop in a great location in Golden. Coffee was really good, service was fast and friendly. They didn’t have many food options though — I was hoping for a nice pastry or dessert to go with my coffee, but there wasn’t much. There were quite a few bugs near the entrance window; my wife noticed it and we switched tables. Not sure if it’s a cleanliness thing or just the weather. Still, it’s a solid spot for a quick coffee stop. Worth checking out if you’re nearby.

I'm a fan of Windy Saddle Cafe and will continue to visit. My favorite part is their kid friendliness with their Kids Corral area and kids menu! The food and lattes are good - I recommend the quiches. My gripes: 1) wish the kids area was cleaner, 2) wish the bathrooms were cleaner. This place gets very busy given the great location in downtown Golden. Visiting before 9:30 am on weekends is ideal. They have outside seating and free wifi.

Super cute Golden establishment! Stopped in on a morning walk & grabbed a cup of coffee to go. Not being a "real" coffee drinker, I appreciated the helpful recommendations. In addition to a cute restaurant, they had a fun selection of products & swag. They also had an area for the kiddos & a library. The employees were all very friendly, understanding the hospitality industry, & I'll look forward to taking the time to stop in for a bite with the fam next time.

The is the best cafe in Golden! The Windy Saddle Cafe is our family's go-to breakfast and lunch restaurant. Whenever we leave Golden, I grab two scones for the road on my way out of town. 😋

Long line to order. About 30 mins after we ordered, an employee comes up to us to tell us that they were out of an ingredient for one of our orders. Then about 15 mins later another employee comes up and tells they are out of another key ingredient for both our sandwiches. We were going to be getting very different orders compared to what we had originally paid for. They asked if we wanted our money back, but at this point we had already waited so long and therefore were very hungry, so we decided to keep waiting for the food. When the food finally came, one of our orders was wrong, which was another disappointment after everything. The food was boring and not good. As others have stated, I have no idea why this place is so popular. Must be location.

first time going today! everyone was so sweet and they were so quick to get our coffee out! the vibe in there is so nice and chill. definitely will come to come back! we got a hot gold digger coffee and an iced Rocky Mountain mocha - recommend if you like either a light caramel coffee or a peppermint mocha!!!

An amazing place. Family owned One of those places that reminds you what the working American family represents. 2+2+2 is the best you could ask for. The pancakes are delicious. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere is preferable to those chain cafes that only fatten the wallets of corporate America. Go to these cafes; that's what this country needs.

We stopped on the way to Estes Park from the Denver Airport. The food was excellent with timely service. When the servicer found out it was Matha's birthday, she comped her entire meal. We thanked them, adding that my birthday was in two days. My meal was comped also. With a bill of zero, we thanked them and tipped the waitress generously. Great food.. great people.

I order off the appetizer menu but it was a great portion of food to be a full meal. Everything was hot and the food came pretty quickly. The bartender/waitress did the best she could do by herself. Overall it was good. I would like to note, these are the best, crispy French fries I've ever had!!!

Really cool biker bar! Absolutely loved the decor, the outside dining area and stage, as well as the delicious food! Bathrooms could’ve been a little cleaner, but they weren’t terrible. Service was a tad slow in my opinion, but the waitress/bartender was very kind. Everyone here seemed in good spirits, including the staff. I appreciated that the bartender called a Lyft for a very, very drunk man and walked him to the car. The house salad with ranch was absolutely delicious and my friend really enjoyed the nachos and French dip with fries. Overall, not a bad experience!

Now this bar had the coolest outside bar, it's a tough place, bartenders were busy talking and hanging out but the outside looked amazing. Didn't get to eat here but menu looked good. It's a biker bar right out of a movie so be cool

Traveling through Denver and staying near Golden. Dirty Dogs was close and they had meatloaf. Was slow but the bartender was super attentive, very efficient even as it started getting busier. Meatloaf was good. I would like to be here when it's jamming, should be a good time.

Dog friendly. They bring out a big bucket of water for your dogs. Super friendly service. Poppers were awesome and came out super fast. Good variety of music on the radio too.

If I could give more than 5 stars..! Cool place-friendly and hard working staff!! Only one girl working when we were there-she killed it. Staying at the Origin Red Rocks for a show and this was a fabulous quick uber ride..went twice in 2 days we were there. Yummy breakfast and lunch!

This was a spectacular bagel sandwich. Everything was perfectly layered. All my extra topics fit without any hassle. It was stunning. Top 3 bagel sandwiches I've ever had.

I've eaten here about twice a week for the last few years. Good value, clean, GREAT food, and everyone is always nice. I rotate around between "build your own" bagels, pizza, and the salads. REALLY like the fact that everything is cooked on site, every day. All the bagels and cookies are always fresh. My absolute favorite is a "scooped" turkey on sesame, toasted with butter, with lettuce, onion, and Swiss. Prices have gone up a LITTLE in the last year, but still a better value than other restaurants in the area. The workers are always cheery, but it can get busy during lunch rush. Popular place in north Golden!

I placed an order through grub hub for pick up that I thought went through. I sat an waited for the order only to find it didn't go through afterall. So I went to my car and decided to try again and just have it delivered. Still the app was giving me issues. The owner Matt approached me and asked if everything was ok. I explained that I was trying to order through the app because I had a credit. He asked what I ordered and I said don't worry about, I'll come another day. He insisted on helping and did this while honoring my credit. This is the second time I have been helped by Matt and both times he has been friendly, courteous and welcoming. I know people have expressed issues about rude staff and turnover, however I truly believe Matt is working to turn this place around and deliver exemplary service. Always great bagel Action here. Younger work staff, however looks like the owner or manager is here frequently. Very personable and nice staff. Actually have eye contact, genuine conversation. We got the mushroom melt and the big momma, bagels are great texture and flavor, cream cheese rocks, all the toppings fresh and delicious. They have a pizza shop in here too, can’t wait to try more flavors of bagels and pizza. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Great cold brew, they okay old school Rock and roll. If you like bagels and bagel sandwiches get your booty here.

Overall great place in golden for a quick breakfast, lunch, or afternoon bite. I'm a creature of habit and this place has been my go to meal before work for years. Most of the staff knows me and my partner by name and by our order. Secretly they have one of the best muffins around, trust me I'm from the Midwest and we know our baked goods!

Be prepared to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for a bagel even when it’s not busy on a week day. I come in almost weekly, during the week, because it’s convenient and no one seems to be in a hurry to help each other or make eye contact with customers waiting around. I’ve also never seen it busy during the week. Today I waited 10 minutes, after my 34 minute online order, to ask about it. They were out of sesame bagels so they hadn’t started making the order. I’ve been late to multiple meetings waiting 10-45 minutes after ordering. When it’s not busy. It’s hard to keep giving my money to this local chain vs Starbucks when the atmosphere is sluggish and food is expensive.

Big Daddy never disappoints. We go for breakfast sandwiches on weekend mornings or a quick slice at the end of the day during the week. Gabriel is fantastic and runs a great show. Everyone that works there is friendly and attentive. Thanks Big Daddy!

Lovely place. Great (and pretty) coffee. And my breakfast sandwich was delicious. You can sip and eat while playing board games. And some local shopping too. Highly recommended visiting after watching the sunrise at Red Rocks Amphitheater

Got the breakfast burrito here and it was just ok. Aside from the bacon (which it almost had too much of) everything else was lacking in flavor. They did a nice job of toasting it though, so the tortilla had a nice crunch when you bite into it.

Love the variety of options that they have here. Very good coffee, nice people and good atmosphere! Gluten free options available too!

The service was amazing. They are very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and chill. Music was a bit too loud for my tastes, but tolerable. I had oatmeal, which was pretty good. It could have been amazing if the oats were steel cut and cooked all the way. Instead, I am pretty sure it was plain instant oatmeal - not even cooked, but just the add hot water kind. That was disappointing, but the additions really did kick it up. I will come back and hope the other fare is better. And maybe add instant oatmeal to your description - I would be far more willing to give 5 stars if I didn't feel cheated when my food arrived. O don't mind instant oatmeal, but I don't expect it when I order at a restaurant - unless it is explicitly explained to me.

I ordered a latte, avo toast, and some soup. I made a few… financially adventurous adjustments (oat milk) and it came to $38 (with tip — tip your baristas, you heathens). I literally muttered to myself, “this better be the best matcha latte I’ve ever had.” It was. The best. Matcha. Latte. I’ve ever had. Period. I live 40 minutes away and would gladly make the pilgrimage again — honestly, I’d ride a horse through a snowstorm for this latte. It can have my firstborn son. It’s THICK — like they whisked the matcha until it confessed its deepest secrets. They asked if I wanted to add a flavor and BROWN SUGAR was the best decision I’ve ever made. I would marry this matcha and start a small organic farming commune with it. I shed actual tears as I drank it. The avocado toast? Made me feel rich. Like Kim Kardashian vacationing in the Hamptons. They served it on a fresh baguette and drizzled it with real balsamic — every ingredient tasted like it came from an 87-year-old Italian grandmother’s backyard garden that she’s been perfecting since WWII. I don’t work here. I don’t know anyone who does. I just fell in love with a café today. Worth every penny — and then some.

THE COFFEE SHOP YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU THINK OF AN AMAZING COFFEE SHOP! I searched for a coffee shop near Red Rocks and this place popped up in an ideal location with great reviews and it did not disappoint! The place is very clean with friendly staff and offers a wide selection of coffee drinks and food items. I came in on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy but the line moved along quickly. I would've stayed in the shop but I was too excited to head to Red Rocks especially after buying a Red Rocks hat at this shop that has become my favorite hat! I actually ended up losing the hat, and I reached out to the email address listed on the website and the Owner Todd was absolutely incredible to send me one only charging me his in-store pricing + shipping as I would prepared to pay a premium to get this hat back again! In summary, the place is beautiful with a wide range of a typical good good shop place, the staff was friendly, the drinks/food were delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. I will come back here every time I visit Red Rocks! And thanks again Todd for going out of your way to get me this hat!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

The people behind the bar were incredibly kind! They use Allegro Coffee out of Thornton. There is an additional patio for more outdoor seating! All the outdoor seating is under large shady trees. Is it called high ground cuz it’s on a hill? Be ready for the hill if you plan on biking there

Visited this coffee shop on the first day of our trip to Golden. Nathan was so friendly and funny and made us feel right at home! Iced coffee was great and bagels were awesome too! Decided on day 2 to try and visit another coffee shop in town. Walked into 4 others and ended up walking back up to Higher Grounds with Nathan! This time grabbed a latte and Salted Caramel Frapp. Nathan remembered that I liked it sweet and doctored it up a bit for me! Muffin we tried this time was great! Trust me this shop is worth the walk up from downtown! Until next time…

Cute cafe, The barista was very busy woth a rush when I came in, but she still had time to make everyone laugh and my drink was fantastic. Lovely place to study, lots of nice plants inside and outside, nice selection of drinks, and very clean. I can see why it is so popular!

Love going to Higher Grounds!! I always get the Italian soda. The atmosphere is so nice to study or chat with a friend. There are many plants, and the dining room is very cozy. The staff has always been super friendly as well. It does tend to be pretty warm in there, so make sure to layer!

My wife and I stopped in since we were staying close and wanted to try the local coffee shops and enjoy something besides the hotel blend. We had high hopes but were let down. Not sure if the gentleman was having a bad day but he was extremely short and rude. My wife had the banana bread latte and it was mid at best. My coffee was fine but after the service we decided to try other spots.

This is the ultimate place. Coffee is awesome and the staff is so hospitable and helpful. The indoors area is just as inviting as the outdoors area. The location is great and there is some (2 hours parking) around it. It opens early (lucky me) and has a great variety of beverages and food. I got the Yerba mate latte and it was excellent. I will be back!

What a lovely coffee shop, with outdoor seating and very cozy indoor decor with plants makes you never want to leave this place. This is the reason why this is my favorite place to grab coffee. The cashier is also super friendly. I sat down for a few minutes and i notice his interactions with customers and he always managed to make them smile, including myself.

Started our morning quietly and Jesse was great! Super friendly and attentive despite being busy, his service was great! Our food was out in a timely manner and good, needs salt but hey can’t complain! Again Jesse was fantastic if the GM sees this give this man more shifts!!

We have come in the past three/four days and every day we have gotten absolutely wonderful service. Today our server Linda, was very kind and speedy with our service. She was very understanding with my allergies and made sure the kitchen knew. Thank you. We have had different servers everyday, and everyone here is so nice.

Linda treated me like family. It's what I love about Denny's the food is served with love and that makes all the difference. Everything I needed she made available and because of her kindness I felt safe here which has been something that I haven't felt in the last 60 days. I had an excellent experience at Denny’s thanks to our waitress, Amanda. From the moment we sat down, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She kept our drinks full without us ever having to ask and made a point to check in regularly to see if we needed anything. Amanda was friendly, attentive, and really made our meal enjoyable. It’s not often you come across service that good, and she truly stood out. Definitely appreciate the great service!

Linda is an excellent waitress. We have been going there a long time and she is always on her toes to help the patron. Fast at getting your food to you while it is just out of the kitchen and always there to pour that second cup of coffee. Always helping the new person that works there and helping at the cash register. I would like to give her seven stars.

The food was good, the service was not. We were seated and sat for over 10 minutes before asked what drinks we would like. We nearly left as we were not approached about placing our order for nearly 15 minutes after we arrived. We thought they had forgotten about us. Our food took a little long, but cashing out took forever. They did not appear understaffed, it just felt as if we were not important. I hope they were just having a bad morning.

The waitresses were nice and run around offering coffee refills. There is no non-dairy milk. The food was basically like eating cardboard with some chili and cheese thrown in. I will not eat here again.

First, the good. The chicken fried steak and sausage gravy were classic and delicious. Sweet family atmosphere and cute cafe. Sadly, everything else was a disappointment. Long wait to be seated, and then longer wait to have our orders taken. Ham had a weird taste, biscuits were clearly from frozen. Basically cafeteria food. Can't complain too much for the price, but we'll try a different cafe next time.

We stopped at this place on the way down from Blackhawk the morning of Memorial Day. The food was delicious and the service was great. Definitely be back.

5 min off I-70. Ten minutes to order, get our food, and out the door. Normally a dine in place comma but they we're happy to pack it for us to go since we were in a hurry. Great service, happy attentive employees. You can tell it's a family run business. Easy to see why they would have Lots of customers on a saturday morning. Great fresh, food. Delicious!

This cafe is dynamite! A very quaint and friendly vibe. Louis and his wife come out of the kitchen to greet guests, fill coffee, etc. The food is excellent! His menu has a bit of everything you’d want; Mexican, American, Greek, salads, all delicious. Customer service is great! Just try the pozole! We brought home a large container of it today. IT’S SO GOOD! You can’t go wrong eating here. We’re so happy we found this cafe! Louis’ is our weekend go to from here on!

I've been here twice and both times I've experienced great food and decent service. The servers can be a little slower to get back to you, but they are nice and helpful. The prices are excellent, as well.

I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup and the grilled cheese must have been sitting around a good while as it was hard and inedible. Panera is not exactly economical so one should expect good quality food. Get a clue and do better!

Absolutely horrible. Waiting for 20 min the drive through to order a chicken noodle soup and a chipotle chicken avacado melt. Got home to see my soup was all broth, has 2 pieces of noodles and 1 piece of chicken in it. Then i get to my sandwhich to almost break my tooth by biting into the top seed of the avacado. Not once but TWICE! there were literally two seeds in my sandwhich and best part of all, i almost ate someones hair from the kitchen. About to throw up, when i call to speak to someone there, no one answers. Tried numerous times, people will just answer and hang up. I will never be back.

Came in and ordered the new french dip sandwich . Get all the way home to see they rang up a New York cheesesteak sandwich . Call up there and ask the manager for a refund of the sandwich . Was told she cannot refund over the phone but if I wanted to come back they can remake it . I find it odd they can pull the order up on their end but cannot issue a refund . The only other solution the manager could offer would be to mail me a coupon for a free you pick two . Starts asking for my information , but does not ask for my name . I asked if she needed it to where she said it is on her caller id . Then asks what city I am in which was incorrect , I then proceed to give her the correct one …. Still have not received any coupon so my suspicions were correct that she really did not care . Seems like this is the theme of this Panera . I would say do not go here because if they do mess up , which seems pretty consistent , nor hint will be resolved unless you’re physically in the restaurant . Really disappointing.

Waited in the drive through for more than 15 minutes and the line didn't move. Ordered inside and was told they were out of chicken and bread bowls. Food took 20 minutes to come out and my name wasn't even called but noticed them set it on the counter. Was there for over 40 minutes and walked away with half a salad.

Went there on April 26th one hour before closing, a male worker complained as loudly as possible that we dined in an hour before closing. Additionally, when we received our food one of our salads had excessive amounts of pepper on it. I completely understand the frustration of having people come in close to closing time, but this was an extreme display of immaturity and lack of training. Probably not coming back :/

Very cute place, lots of seating. Weird service though... employees didn't know how to take an order properly and instead of greeting or making us feel comfortable, they just stared and waited to be confronted. I'd rather not have that kind of service but it wasn't rude just weird. I truly enjoy Panera, Today they fell short. I arrived at this location and went into the restroom and found it filthy. I decided to sit and eat. I watched several team members walk into the restroom (3) and paid no regard to the mess it was. I believe one to even be a manager in a Polo. How sad to see this take place. Ordered the boneless wings on the HUGE part of the menu. They no longer have them. Ok- order a Jacks spicy chicken sandwich...Pull up to the window and ask for buffalo sauce and ranch. Worker starts tell me they can only do it for fries. I don't mind paying the $1 for sauces. Finally get my $11 CHICKEN sandwich and it tastes like fish!! Not hot fresh crispy fish! But cold nasty 3 day old disgusting fish!! They was no one else there. I would happily wait for something edible!! If you won't eat it don't serve it!! theres a reason why we do not do jack n the box unfortunately my kids wanted a snack so i tried one door and it didn't open so we went around to the other door and it didn't open either so i looked at the hours just to make sure and i peered in the window and the place was completely empty.all of the sudden this lady opens the door and snottily and rude as the day is bright said you could just open the door. then she just as rudely said just use the kiosk. it was enough for me to tell my kids who wanted to sit no no we're not welcome here we need to leave as soon as we get the fries and we got those fries and left quick. i already do not care for clowns and the service just solidified this is as much of a joke as its mascot. some may like it but its definitely not somewhere you need to drive out of your way to go to. the next time we're in the area we'll just go to lil riccis. please note the doors stick and you definitely have to pull on them

The food was good but the service was terrible. First, we had to ask several times for the bathroom code. When she would reply, it was very quick and hard to understand. Then, we asked for the sweet and sour sauce that came with our egg roll and were told we had to pay for it. When I told her it came with the egg roll we ordered, she replied “What egg roll?” I literally had to show her the egg roll that I had just received to get my sauce without a charge. If you don’t want to be kind, find a job where you don’t work directly with people.

Been to many Jack in the Box over the years. This was far and away the worst experience I’ve had. Took over 10 minutes of waiting after multiple times having the staff ask us to wait because they were so busy before even placing an order. Once they were “ready” to take the order they acted like we were taking up all their time and just generally treated terribly. Food took forever but luckily it was still decent like it usually is.

My mother had offered to buy us something to eat and we went to Jack-in-the-Box she’s willing to pay cash for a $63 meal. The person that assist us was from drive-through and he was goodShe offered the guy $100 bill and the person said he didn’t have change and ask a manager if he could get changed the Manager said he will not take $100 bill and my mother had asked him why he couldn’t take it and he turned around and yell. I just opened that register. I don’t want it to be short, so my mom ended up paying with the credit card that she didn’t want to use. As I watched them, prepare our food only one person was doing it and it was like no rush. I watched Wants a hamburger patty came out they made a sandwich then I watched another hamburger. There’s no rush to get the food out to people.. I don’t recommend this place and management was rude as can Be when he starts yelling back at her elderly woman who is 91. I actually told my mom I didn’t pay for it just just leave, but she said we already ordered and she was just gonna go and pay for it

Do not place a mobile order at this location. They go on break and make you wait 30+ minutes till they return. Yes everyone is entitled to a break but still poor customer service to have to wait for something you paid for when you're ready to leave

Apparently not greeting your customers is the new norm nowadays. No responses to them saying thank you might as well have robots.

Both employees were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. And everybody already knows either you like Starbucks or you don't but these people made the experience better than I've ever had at a Starbucks.

I ordered a salted cold foam cold brew and a ham and swiss sandwich this morning. The lady who took my order was very kind. However the gentleman who made my order said he couldn't get the foam to foam so I saw him grab a salt packet and pour it into my drink. As soon as I tasted my drink it tasted HORRIBLE!! I unfortunately was on a time crunch and just had to throw away the coffee I had just paid $5+ for. My sandwich was so over cooked that the entire top bun was hard as a rock. I couldn't eat that either. So all in all I spent $10 and couldn't consume anything I paid for. I will not EVER be returning here!! I highly suggest going to the starbucks right down old golden rd..its a lot busier but for a good reason CLEARLY!!

Starbucks in Golden, Colorado has a very friendly and friendly staff. They have consistently produced both quality service and products to me. I frequent this for these exact reasons and will continue to do so.

Location is clean, friendly and very professional. Service is wonderful and the drinks are the best but I'm not sure why they understaff this location... There is only one barista 9/10 times and the lines can get long especially when people order more than one drink.

There were only two employees when I came in and they both seemed rushed, but happy. I wasn’t greeted or helped right away. The drinks took a little longer than expected, but that could be due to the lack of workers. There were quite a few people seated inside and outside, as well as customers coming and going through the drive thru. Normal Starbucks menu (pastries and drinks) and normal cups were for sale.

This is such a nice Starbucks! The views are incredible and the seating is perfect to appreciate the wonderful nature around Golden. However the service is horrible! I came here after a hike with my friend ordered a trenta black tea with sugar free vanilla. In the past i have had a watered down tea and a cup full of ice. I was very specific in my order not to add any water and to go light on the ice. The took over 10 minutes to give me my tea they took care of all the drive thru and kept skipping my order. I literally watched the barista water down my tea in front of me after i ordered it from her. I didn’t make a big deal of it but i call her out on the way my drink was made. I don’t understand paying $6 for a tea that is watered down especially after i asked you not to. Very ignorant young women working her as much as i enjoyed the out door space I’ll skip it…

I really hate this Starbucks. Every time I come here, there's an issue. Before a long road trip, I ordered a venti pumpkin spice latte and only got hot milk. Yesterday, I did a mobile order and had to wait a long time before inquiring. Not a single person of the 5+there greeted me or asked about my order. Someone squirreled out on my drink. It was half made under the cold brew tap. I mobile ordered because I was in a hurry to get up the mountain. Clearly, that was lost on this crew. Avoid it all costs.

For over a year, the employees keep all their personal belongings on the handi-cap table so no one can sit there. I've reached out to Starbucks corporate, but the manager and employees still do it. They have loud team meetings and employee reviews in the lobby. There will be no seats in the store, and they refuse to move their junk so customers can sit there. Today, March 18th, I asked them to move their stuff so I could use the table, they said no, and went back to their loud team meeting. Had a bit of a rough morning while traveling, so we decided to stop by for some coffee. While there, I went to pick up our coffees, the lid popped off one of them, & coffee spilled everywhere! I felt terrible. The employee who helped me was so kind & helpful. She even made me a new coffee. It made my day! Thanks for the great service & kindness!

The app didn't open, no reward today, and no help or suggestions from the drive thru speaker. IF they would have suggested a different form of ordering or (anything in fact.) I might have stayed and ordered something else. But no offer of customer service, so I left. I'll spend my $$ and my rewards somewhere else. Training for customer service, consider getting some.

Ordered two hot fudge Sundays and didn't notice till I got home that it's just vanilla ice cream with no fudge. Tried calling the store and no answer.

I used to go to this McDonald’s all the time and have no issue, I don’t know what has happened to their management lately but it is HORRIBLE. The past THREE times I have tried to come here they have messed up my order. The first time, I arrive to pick up my online order and they let me know at the window that they’re out of French fries… how do you run out of French fries at McDonald’s in a small college town????? And of course I can’t get a refund through the app you have to talk to someone at the window, I wouldn’t have gone at all if I knew half of my meal wouldn’t be available. Then, I go another day and the fries were the only thing they got right! My cheeseburger was supposed to be plain and wasn’t and they gave me a regular coke instead of diet. And they don’t even automatically give you a straw anymore with the drink so how was I supposed to try it before I got home? By treating my large McDonald’s soda cup like a coffee and drink while driving like that?? Extremely angry that only one item was correct, and again since I didn’t check before getting home, I can’t get a refund through the app because they want you to do it in person. Because driving all the way back hangry and then bothering the poor cashier person is a good use of anyone’s time in a high traffic fast food drive through 🤦🏻‍♀️then, today because I lack brain cells and decide to give this location another shot, I make an online order and upon getting there see a note on the drive through speaker that they closed an HOUR ago. Why did the app let me order food when they’re closed?? And now I can’t even go immediately to another location because you can’t use deals within 15 minutes, even though I cancelled the order and didn’t even get the food the deal was for. This McDonald’s has SERIOUS management issues, how do you run out of staple menu items, get orders wrong, and close early???? Pick a struggle! Don’t waste your time coming here because they’ll manage to mess up every part of the experience.

Was very clear that I wanted a cheeseburger happy meal with just meat and cheese on the burger and they gave me nuggets instead with no dipping sauce. I do not believe this was a language barrier issue as everyone seemed to understand me just fine.

Today I stopped by for a sausage McMuffin and a hash brown. This is what I was given. A completely rock hard hash brown. I go back around to ask for another and they say they can’t do that. If I can give no stars I would have. This location specifically does this a lot but it’s close to work and I figured I’d stop before going in. Yet again disappointed and I remember now why I don’t come to this location much.

Don’t recommend this McDonald’s. Ordered through the McDonald’s app and the manager said we canceled the order on the app even though we didn’t. Then she walked away without helping us figure it out. And the worker that was helping us didn’t know what he was doing just paced playing with the cups and sauces.

Worst McDonald’s experience. Pulled up to the outside ordering. Was told they’d be right with us. No biggie. Another car pulls up to the other lane and is immediately greeted and asked what they’d like…. Ok… I provide them my code. It was for any size fry with purchase of any size soft drink or ice tea. They go radio silent for a few minutes. Then they come back and say, “what size fry”. I reply, “large.” She says, “anything else?” I look at the screen and it’s a full priced large fry with no code applied. So I say, “and for the drink, a lrg Dr Pepper please.” She says, “well we don’t have any drinks today.” No drinks? None. She clearly had no intention of telling me this and charging me full price for the fry. There was no signs anywhere saying, “sorry folks, nothing to wash down our dry burger buns”. HORRIBLY managed and the employees are less than capable of basic customer service.

I have been here 2x. I always give place the benefit of of the doubt. But the both time no cars in parking only one in line and still have to pull i to a number slot and wait 5 minutes for our order and them they always get things wrong never include plastic ware or condiment as ask for

This is actually a decent Mcdonalds most of the time. Its kind of hard to find a good one anymore. They tend to have fresh tasting food, and acurate service. Not the most friendly staff, but not rude either

The two ladies that served us was super rude and disrespectful. No smile. No good service. They let someone sweep up our food before we could get to it. We had the Asiago bagel with a sandwich. A student took it before we could get up. Then they gave us a plain bagel. My boyfriend didn’t know the difference so when he finally showed me his sandwich I was like no that’s not what you ordered. I went up there to tell them. Then they said there was no more Asiago bagels. They made another one. However, while we were eating the two ladies were talking loud enough about us that we could hear them. They said that we waited until half the bagel was gone and then wanted to complain.

The location is not there and made a quick trip long. When I found the new location there was no where to put my bike, which is odd for a campus location. Then the Maple Bagel that was advertised on the website was not available; which was unfortunate given that is why I made the trip.

The one time I came here I ordered a egg and cheese bagel and watched the guy cut someone’s salmon bagel with the same knife he then cut my sandwich with. Needless to say my egg and cheese bagel came with some of the salmon and cream cheese from his order smeared on it. So nasty. And what a lame excuse to be closed still… Can’t get any workers? Or just can’t find any workers to run your business for $8 per hour? 😂 Awesome concept for a restaurant but never could obey their own hours of operation and now front a lame excuse on why they’re closed. Just let your lease expire and move out so we can get a competent business in that prime location that actually wants to make money…you guys have been a joke since Covid!

I’ve stopped coming here. I’m not sure if they’re actively malicious or just straight incompetent. The amount of times *major* mess ups have happened with my order is simply ludicrous. Examples: - Ask for extra of something. Get charged for it, and then I get far less. - Ask for a substitution. Get charged for it, simply doesn’t happen. - Order a turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. Comes without bacon nor avocado. Like Jesus. If I’m going to spend money on something, I’d at least like it to be what I somewhat ordered.
