Nestled atop the picturesque Sabika hill, the Alhambra stands as a breathtaking testament to Granada's rich history and architectural splendor. This medieval complex, originally constructed in the 13th century by the Nasrid dynasty, showcases an exquisite blend of Islamic artistry and Christian influences following its conquest in 1492. Visitors are captivated by its intricately carved throne rooms, serene cloistered courtyards adorned with fountains, and stunning mosaic tilework that reflects Granada’s iconic style.
A beautiful experience. Like a step back in time. Fantastic gardens, and immaculately maintained parts of the castle are amongst the many things you can visit and experience. Highly recommended to tour it with an audio guide or,better, with a guide! Book well in advance and remember to bring your passports,as they are mandatory to get in and linked to the tickets! 🎟️

Beautiful visit! Take a fan, hat, sunscreen, and definitely water! Be patient and expect a lot of visitors. Best to go early in the morning (less people) and book when you know you're going to this area. We did a guided 3 hour tour. It's detailed information if interested in Alhambra. Otherwise, go on your own for a faster visit and more photo opportunities.
Sunna C — Google review
Check this review if you couldn’t reserve tickets early and still want to go! I was very lucky to get a last-minute ticket. The official website releases some tickets at midnight on the same day of your visit (I found this information on Reddit). I started refreshing the page from 00:00 and got a ticket at 00:27 for €22, including access to the Nasrid Palace. For the Nasrid Palace, you’re assigned a specific time slot. I got the 17:00 slot, which was the last one of the day—they start closing around 17:45. You can enter up to 15 minutes before your time slot. Before getting the official ticket, I was pretty frustrated and noticed that some private tour guides were charging up to €250 the day before, which was crazy! I even saw people at the main entrance trying to sell entry deals to visitors. Anyway, spending almost the whole day there for €22 was totally worth it. There are plenty of places to sit and rest, and drinking water is available. Unfortunately, there are no information signs inside the buildings or along the paths, and they don’t provide an audio guide, so I used GPT to learn about the parts I was curious about.
Chercy T — Google review
Must-see when in Granada. I planned my entire trip around when I could get tickets. Allow 3-4 hours. Recommend starting from the top and moving down to the bottom; be wary of Nasrid Palace entrance time. Can either bus or taxi or walk to the top. We needed our passports and tickets for entry. We spent a few hours in the afternoon and did not find it particularly crowded. Stunning place and you feel like you’re in another world. Buy advance tickets. Next time I would consider an evening tour as it looks like it would be really different.

What can I say about the Alhambra? It’s a truly beautiful place, rich in tradition and history. The site wonderfully blends the Moorish spirit with the Christian heritage of Spain, creating a unique cultural harmony. The gardens are breathtaking, and the palaces showcase incredible symmetry and stunning arabesque designs. I fully recommend visiting—it’s an unforgettable experience.
Murillo P — Google review
Amazing bucket-list stuff here. Get an early entry ticket because it will get hot and people-y fast. Take a taxi up to the entrance for 6-10 Euro, then walk the exterior trail afterwards back down the hill to city center. Plan on 3-4 hours minimum to see it properly. Go the last week of September to minimize heat and maximize the beautiful gardens!
Pete S — Google review
Stunning from start to finish. Don't forget to bring the IDs of each visitor for whom you booked a ticket. The visit is divided in multiple parts: one side has the Generalife, a white palace surrounded by beautiful gardens. On the other side is the Alcazaba, the famous red walls towering over the city, and the Nazrid palace, absolutely sumptuous. The gardens on that side are also stunning. The alhambra museum is nice, but not a must. It can be skipped if you are short for time.
Jean G — Google review
Very nice monument, we visited it with a guide and the stories and information provided was very good. If you would just follow the path through the palaces you will be missing a lot of information. The guided tour costs more, but is more than worth it in my opinion. Due to taking the tour with guide we didn't have any queues. The palaces are the most beautifull, but the rest of the complex is also worth it. The generalife gardens are also very beautifull.

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are exceptional. My wife broke her ankle during a visit to the Alhambra. The hotel staff were simply AMAZING. In particular Julian, Juan, Louisa, Marina, Sonia, the car parking staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping staff. Everyone did their best to assist us. The location is great too. Thank you all. We will be back!

My family and I stayed here for a total of five nights, and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff, especially Alba, are extremely warm and welcoming towards us at all times, making us feel comfortable and at home despite travelling a long distance and arriving at unsociable hours of the evening. They provided assistance with the transportation of our luggage, as well as any requirements and wishes which we may have, initiating that they were always happy to help us. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, with either family or friends.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and I couldn’t fault it. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The turndown service was an unexpected bonus too. It felt like all of the staff genuinely cared about the comfort of their guests and they were all friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is definitely worth having too. The food was fresh and tasty and you can also order some hot breakfast items which are made to order. If you’re staying in Granada then I’d highly recommend this hotel.

This was an exceptional choice! We had a lovely room that was so comfortable. We also had access to the spa and enjoyed the pool and the sauna. The location was perfect, and we liked the bar/restaurant on the property. We enjoyed a great dinner. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service is it seemed they could have used more help in the bar area. I felt bad for the gentleman that was running like crazy, trying to keep up with it all when it got busy.

Amazing stay at Hospes Palacio de los Patos. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant and responsible very to our needs. We stayed in one of the modern dreamer rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was incredible. The complimentary bottle of Cava was a nice touch. Luisa and Julian at check-in were delightful and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was so pleasant and the food offerings were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic location and the room is amazing! We were upgraded to a junior suite and it feels palatial. Really convenient location in central Granada. It's pricey but for a special occasion it's worth it!
Steve T — Google review
A beautiful, neat, and very clean hotel. We booked a room with a daybed. Unfortunately, they hadn't provided one. They said they'd overlooked this, and we could wait a bit. We were given two drinks as compensation, and they quickly arranged a nice, spacious room with a bath. A very good and quick solution! We ordered some food on the terrace, which was very tasty and looked great. The meat was tender and had a wonderful flavor. Everything in the room was neat and clean, and the hallway and terrace are spacious and very beautiful. We highly recommend this hotel; we will definitely be back! Richard & Manon Komen

Hotel
Hotel Palacio De Santa Paula, Autograph Collection is a unique boutique hotel located in the historic center of Granada. It combines a 14th-century palace with a 16th-century convent and has been declared a historic and artistic monument. The hotel features original architectural elements such as stone arches, wooden balconies, frescoes, and vaulted ceilings. Its cobbled courtyard offers an oasis of calm where guests can enjoy local wine under red-brick arches and bougainvillea.
Our stay at Hotel Palacio De Santa Paula, Autograph Collection was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond by upgrading us to a gorgeous two-bedroom suite with two bathrooms—such a thoughtful and luxurious touch! The hospitality was unmatched, and we felt incredibly welcomed throughout our stay. The hotel’s location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the heart of Granada. The property itself is stunning, with authentic Andalusian architecture and a charming atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of the city. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking an exceptional and memorable experience in Granada!
Hana R — Google review
We had reserved the family suite. It was quite with a nice view. The room sizes were great considering it's a historical building. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast outside seating is gorgeous. The staff was very attentive. Natasha at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. She was able to arrange a personal tour of the Alhambra and made sure we had water bottles before we left for the tour which was extra nice.
G. M — Google review
Alejandro was truly a gift of a person in making an excellent experience for my family here. He always had great answers to every question about Granada and a smile that brightens everyone’s day. All services here, including the restaurant are great as well. 10/10 This is the place to stay.
X X — Google review
The good: 1) Interesting backstory since it was a convent. 2) Kind staff members at the front desk who were all helpful, especially Natasha. 3) The building is very pretty & is centrally located in Granada. The bad: 1) The quality is extremely out of step with the price. If you’re paying over € 150 a night I’d say you’re getting a bad deal here. Don’t do it. 2) Cleanliness issues. I’m Titanium & in the first, upgraded room I was put in, the shower had multiple hairs stuck to its wall from prior guests. Eww. 3) Noise issues. The upgraded rooms in the old convent section are worse for noise than the rooms in the modern part of the hotel, oddly. That’s because they overlook a courtyard where the restaurant is located, so it’s a kind of amphitheater echo chamber. Extremely loud. You’ll here diner until midnight, events, etc. On my second night, I asked to be transferred to a quieter room even if it was a downgrade. I was then put in the modern section. Much quieter than the upgraded convent/courtyard rooms, but still too noisy in my view. 4) AC issues. The AC was good in the noisy upgraded room but bad in the modern room. In neither room can you digitally set the temperature. It felt really 90s/ old school. I woke up sweating. 5) Room service issues. I tried to order room service in my upgraded room. The phone did not connect me to anyone other than reception, and I had to try 3x through reception for them to put me through successfully. Also not a great room service menu. 6) Dingy issues. The upgraded rooms are oddly in much worse shape in terms of upkeep than the modern rooms. Paint chipping etc. 7) Lighting issues. You can’t dim the lights or create evening ambiance. It’s all or nothing. The whole place in terms of AC & electricity feels user unfriendly & from the 90s. Needs an upgrade in these respects. 8) Cheap robes. For the price & luxury marketing of the hotel, robes should feel nicer than the AC Madrid Atocha but they don’t. Front desk staff & baggage help were so kind that I’d love to rate higher. But these problems are pretty inexcusable for any hotel especially one charging so much.
Monica M — Google review
Other than no upgrade as a platinum member this hotel was fine to stay at. Complimentary breakfast was good and service excellent. We would stay again with no hesitation.
Andrew — Google review
Had the most lovely stay here while my family and I were in Granada. We fell in love with the architecture of this 16th century convent and service was great from beginning to end. Location is great because it’s walking distance to Catedral de Granada, Mirador de San Nicolas, and a short ride away to the Alhambra and train station. We appreciated the room upgrade, loved having breakfast at the cloister with great weather and view, the complimentary cake for my child’s birthday & the quick action when we reported a minor problem with our room. Our stay here proves that being a loyal Bonvoy member pays off. Highly recommend!
Alika S — Google review
Fabulous hotel! The staff are AMAZING!!! Yesterday was the country-wide blackout, & the hotel responded incredibly, including managing to feed all the guests (the kitchen was dark, though they did have a generator for lighting public areas)! Highly recommend!!!

Hotel
Gar Anat Hotel Boutique is a charming retreat located in the heart of Granada's Realejo neighborhood. Housed in a beautifully restored 17th-century building, this boutique hotel offers 15 uniquely designed rooms, each inspired by different authors or literary works. The hotel's refined library and classic-meets-modern style create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Originally a pilgrims' inn, Gar Anat retains its historic charm while providing top-notch service and trendy cocktail bars just steps away.
We loved the cute library and the free water in the room fridge, so wonderful after some hot days in Granada. Only wish was for the library coffee and tea service to be all day as opposed to after 4pm. Most of us tourists get early starts!
Robert P — Google review
Okay so the location is great, the hotel is cute, the rooms are okay and the staff is nice. However, a few issues in a matter of 3 nights: - the AC is nowhere near efficient, our last night was a total hell, probably about 25-28°C in the room. - the parking spot costs 22€ a day and is painfully hard to use: you'll have to drive through the narrowest ramp to access -2 floor and then park in a tiny spot. A very expensive price for high risks of scratching your car. - we also had the unpleasant surprise to get a set of clean towels that smelt of cigarette. They changed it when asked to but this should never have happened at all. No apologies or acknowledgement received.
Marc C — Google review
Really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this cute hotel, felt unique and more comforting compared to huge corporate hotels. Smelled so cozy right when you enter, with a welcoming little courtyard in the center. Opted for the two-twin bed standard room and it was super comfortable and clean with a lot of space! Our air conditioner worked great too. Cute area with easy walks to restaurants and cafes, Granada cathedral nearby. 15-20 min walk to Alhambra but Uber/taxi was super easy and affordable too. Very friendly staff who were always available if you need anything. Water was free and refilled for us! Enjoyed the complimentary tea in the evening. WiFi was spotty at times but otherwise totally fine. Definitely recommend this place for your Granada stay!

A lovely hotel in walking distance of so many wonderful parts of Granada. The hotel staff, amazing, kind and helpful with suggestions about the city. This is our second visit to this city but we must say that this is the first time we truly enjoyed the magic. This hotel had a lot do with with it and even provided an opportunity to leave a wish for the future. Wayne

The stay was very good. Its a heritage hotel with less than 20 rooms. The best hotel staff ee met in spain (Barcelona, madrid, cordoba). The hotel smells of cinnamon and lemon, gives unlimited free drinking water which no othe hotel gave in spain in our exp and helps with whatever you need help with. I recommend.

This place was amazing. Rooms were incredibly comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome. Location was great also. Definitely stay here.
K B — Google review
Our family of 5 adults stayed at the Gar-Anat for one night; my wife and I were in a deluxe double room and my three adult sons were in a triple room. The rooms were spacious and fairly comfortable. One drawback / comment is that our room had a fairly strong chemical smell in it for much of the day that we checked-in (presumably from the cleaning products used, although our sons’ room didn’t have that smell) which we got past but obviously would have been preferable to have not had. Our bathroom was quite large with a shower in perhaps the largest tub I’ve even seen! (Our sons had a more “ordinary” shower setup). Overall the rooms were comfortable but as noted, not spectacular, so they earn the 4 star rating. I do want to note some particularly strong points in favor of the hotel. The desk staff is extremely helpful. Before our trip they were in communication with me over WhatsApp and recommended a flamenco show that we quite enjoyed and got us the tickets. They were happy to help with anything from food recommendations / reservations to taxi transfers, to Alhambra tickets, etc…. Truly lovely staff and they were great in person as well. The location is also amazing - it’s right in the center of the old city, minutes away from the Granada cathedral and in the heart of many of the attractions, and only a 20 minute walk or so when you’re leaving the Alhambra. (Note that the Alhambra is at the top of a large hill and would take a bit longer to walk to than the walk back to town when you’re walking downhill). And the hotel had a very nice breakfast buffet in a room that looked and felt a bit like a quite appealing white cave. One tip / note: the hotel is in the middle of streets that are extremely narrow. Taxis and residents can drive to the hotel, but not all cars are allowed to, so you need to factor this in mind if you’re calling for an uber / ride share type of service and you may need to walk a couple of blocks to meet your ride. It’s also possible for various festivals / events to close off roads around the hotel.

We had a great three night stay at the Gar Anat. The atmosphere inside is really nice and the staff was very friendly. The room wasn't overly spacious, but the bed was nice, the bathroom clean and was very little noise. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to places like Albaicín, the Alhambra and lots of bars and restaurants.

Great location! With the beautiful view to Alhambra. The hotel itself creates atmosphere of the anturage and feeling of the history. Great customer service, very good breakfast, convenient parking. Special thanks to the lady who served the breakfast! It was very helpful to get instructions on how to get to the hotel. Would recommend.

This was the favorite hotel of our 2-week trip to Spain. We loved the beautiful old house and furnishings. The location - just outside the busy center of the city, but a quick few blocks walking distance - was perfect. It was also nice to have parking right outside the door. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Would highly recommend for those wanting character and charm in a hote.

This is an amazing hotel in an historic building full of character and beautiful tilework and an amazing coffered ceiling. Very unique and you can walk up the back way to the Alhambra! The night before, a car crashed into the building and burnt the 15th c door, the manager offered to let us cancel but we chose to stay and are so happy we did!
Moe — Google review
Exceptional clean hotel with Islamic history. The building is even more well maintained than some of the monuments nearby. It’s 15 mins walk up to the Alhambra, but note that it’s all the way uphills. You can also take the bus, but the bus takes more time.

The area is just beautiful, did not leave anything to be desired. I booked a standard room without a view but it was very comfortable and cute. Thankyou to the kind concierge who called me a taxi when I checked out 😊 I found not being able to access the entrance without calling the buzzer to be let in a bit different but at least safety is all but guaranteed 🫡

The space itself is incredibly lovely - an old building with a traditional courtyard lovingly restored. The location is ideal - walking distance to everything, but not in the busiest part of Granada. Although the walk uphill to get home is not for the faint of heart. We stayed in the Mirador room, which was tiny, but had an incredible view of the Alhambra. The drawbacks are as follows: no common space to sit or chill outside your tiny room; no bar or restaurant (there is an elaborate breakfast buffet for 15 euros p/p in the basement that we did not try); no pool; no doorman or bellboy to help with luggage. Parking was free, which is wonderful. There is always someone at the front desk, but they pretty much leave you alone. We enjoyed our stay, but you need to know what you are getting into.

This is a clean hotel with a nice design in a great location right near the Alhambra. Unfortunately had an awful experience this morning; we’d booked the hotel after confirming that we could park the car there, even though there would be some construction. Then, we were woken up at 8:30 and told we needed to move our car somewhere else or it would get towed (luckily we hadn’t gone out for breakfast, or our rental would have been towed). We needed to get to the airport so I ended up parking up a steep hill 1km away and lugging our bags there (street parking is tough to find). The concierge did not make any effort to help or acknowledge their error, even though the hotel had told us we could park the car there. This place is fine, but it’s disappointing if you’re looking for hospitality or good service.

This hotel was as much a part of the experience of being Granada as it was a place to stay. The building provided a sense of real immersion into the culture and history of the place. We appreciated its history and the nice decorations throughout. Our room came with a great view of Alhambra from our bedroom and the shower. Location was excellent along a main walking street with plenty of shops and activities, within walking distance to Alhambra if you can brave the elevation, and only a few minutes from the best sights in Albaicín and the Sacromonte. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to both check in early upon arrival and to watch our bags while we explored Alhambra on our final day. They provided detailed access instructions although we used a taxi, and were quick to respond to some questions I had via WhatsApp. There was also an elevator available for anyone with mobility issues or large bags, which can be quite rare. The room itself was small and simple but this comes with being a historic space. We were comfortable enough and slept well here. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Granada.

Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a historical boutique hotel located in a charming 17th-century building. The elegant rooms and suites are adorned with original woodwork, handcrafted tiles, and murals, offering a splash of old-Granada drama. Guests can enjoy thoughtful extras such as complimentary afternoon tea, in-room massages, and designer toiletries. The Andalusian-style courtyard provides a peaceful setting for home-cooked breakfasts.
Absolutely lovely place! Our suite was the perfect size, comfortable bed, top quality linens and towels and a beautiful view from our room of Alhambra. Very quiet - only the beautiful sounds of birds singing. Such amazing hospitality from everyone we encountered. Armon particularly was wonderful and helped to make our stay so memorable. He went above and beyond to assist us in fine tuning our day time plans. The afternoon tea was a very special experience as well. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful Junior Suite – very spacious, nicely furnished, and featuring a great whirlpool. The hotel has a charming historic atmosphere right in the city center. Unfortunately, the Junior Suite that was supposed to offer a side view of the Alhambra had practically no view at all – only the very tip of the tower could be seen with some effort from the side. Nevertheless, it was still a great experience!

Fantastic luxury hotel in the heart of Granada. A rustic old building, full of charm, very tastefully decked out with quality period furniture/decor. Has a tranquil courtyard space circled by rooms on the upper floors. Staff were lovely and unobtrusive. Bear in mind you can't get vehicles outside so there's a short walk with your luggage, but hardly an inconvenience. Perfectly located for walking up to the Alhambra and soaking up the atmosphere of this historic place.

I spent 3 nights here at the end of May and it was one of the highlights of my travels in Southern Spain. This is more than a hotel, it is an experience, if you take advantage of the simple and beautiful amenities. Tucked back a street from the main square's hustle and bustle, you enter the hotel into a peaceful oasis and indoor garden with small chirping birds that enter through the open interior patio. One evening we had cocktail hour in the indoor garden area where they served breakfast. A wait person graciously helped us get ice, glasses and napkins. It is the staff here that helps make this place so special. From the front desk crew who greet you warmly whenever they see you, to the wait staff who are always friendly, competent and willing to help. Don't miss the breakfast buffet, it is exceptional. Tons of fresh fruits and special breads, nuts, dried fruit, eggs, desserts. One of the best I've experienced anywhere. We also availed ourselves of the restaurant recommendations of the friendly people at the front desk and were never disappointed. This is a 5 star place, without a doubt!

We stayed in a superior room at Casa 1800 and absolutely loved our experience. The interior design is stunning, full of charm and character, and the natural light makes the whole space feel warm and inviting. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is beautiful, calm, and elegant. One of the highlights was the tea time – a wonderful touch with delicious food that made us feel truly cared for. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is also perfect – just steps away from the historical centre, so everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations. We will definitely be coming back, and next time we’re looking forward to booking a terrace room to enjoy even more of what Casa 1800 has to offer.

This hotel was beautiful. We ate breakfast and had tea in the courtyard. The breakfast was so good! A great variety of food: eggs, fruit, a selection of breads excellent coffee, meats, cheese, vegetables ..delicious! The bed was very comfortable, the shower amazing, and the little touches like a glass bottle of water waiting for us in the hotel room wonderful. I appreciated how the hotel's atmosphere and the history there. It was also easy walking distance to many sights in Granada. We went to the cave museum, a great Flamenco show, and enjoyed being close to shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and very patient when we were practicing our broken Spanish with them (sometimes people would just say "let's just speak English" very quickly, but not at this hotel).

What a gem of a hotel! I stayed for 3 nights in a Superior Room, and had a great stay. I arrived a few hours before check-in, but thought I'd head to the hotel to see if they could store my luggage while I had a wander around Granada before check-in time, but when I arrived the room was ready, so I was able to have a complimentary arrival drink and then head up early, which was very appreciated after an early morning flight! The room itself was on the smaller size, but it had everything I needed, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Added touches like the hair straighteners in the bathroom, and free bottled water were appreciated! The inner courtyard of the hotel, where breakfast is served, was an absolute oasis, and the perfect place to sit and relax after a day enjoying the sights of Granada. The complimentary afternoon tea was also a lovely highlight. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but the food at the afternoon tea was tasty. The character of the building itself was absolutely gorgeous! All the staff were very friendly and helpful, from check-in to check-out they were absolutely lovely, and were also happy to help with local recommendations for food and sightseeing! I had a small problem with the air conditioning but this was fixed really quickly. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right in the heart of Granada's historic area. Around a 25-minute walk to the Alhambra, 10-minutes to the Albaicin, and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend Hotel Casa 1800 to anyone visiting Granada.

The Parador de Granada is a luxurious hotel located within the Alhambra, offering an exclusive opportunity to stay in a former monastery built on the orders of the Catholic Monarchs. The hotel features old-world rooms and fine dining, with some rooms preserving the remains of a Nasrid palace. This gorgeously converted 15th-century red-brick convent offers a heavenly location, allowing guests to wake up within the UNESCO-listed palace-fortress itself.
I’ve only been to the restaurant so I can’t comment on the hotel. But the food was fantastic, good selection of cold Andalusian soups, just what you need on a hot day at Alhambra! Location is great and there’s also a great view of the Alhambra gardens.

SHAMEFUL wait staff at the restaurant!! After a waiter sat us and took our drink order he never returned. It was not terribly busy when we were seated. After 30 minutes we stopped another waiter and asked about our waiter. He said he had to go eat. (??!!). Okay well he didn’t tell us that he was leaving…. Oh he says, he told me and I’m his backup, he has to eat. Well we understand that sir but if you’re his backup why haven’t you come to our table yet? Finally he took our order after 40 minutes. The food was excellent so the kitchen does well but the waiters are pitiful. We saw several other guests get up and leave after no one came to wait on them either. Parador you need better wait staff!!

Hello, We found your hotel through Google Maps with so much excitement and happiness, and our intention was to book for September. Unfortunately, due to a mistake while entering the dates, our reservation was made for December instead, even though the dates we originally selected were meant for September. Honestly, we tried several times and became worried that no one would respond to us, so we ended up booking just one day in September (which was the only date available) to make sure we could secure our arrival. We kindly ask for your understanding and assistance in adjusting our booking to September, as these are the actual travel dates we had planned from the very beginning. I would also appreciate it if you could contact me directly to discuss this matter, since I haven’t received any response via email. Thank you very much for your cooperation 🙏

Sadly, many parador ameneties closed during our visit, but price remains very high. Whilst nice to be able to park in the palace, the hotel has made very poor use of the outside space , with the cafe bar very uninspiring and lacking comfort and little attempt to find comfortable seating which takes advantage of the views. Cafe bar food is poor. Coordination with front drive security is not seamless.

The contemporary rooms are designed with clean lines and minimalistic details, offering a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy the modern bar, spa facilities, and upgrade to spacious suites for added comfort.
Stayed here for 3 nights in Granada in May. Very good hotel, conveniently located. They offer valet parking for 20/-25 Euros per night which is a little steep but okay considering the area. It's location is great, the service was pretty good, the breakfast could definitely be improved though. The rooms were okay but we were travelling as a family with a young kid and the bathroom had no privacy. The concept is good for a couples but having a see through glass in the shower is not something everyone would appreciate especially if the room comes with 2 separate areas suggesting more than 2 people can stay here. Overall a good experience.

We stayed here for one night and it was a nice experience. Great view from the roof and there is also a small pool up there. The room was spacious and comfortable, however it faced the busy main street, so it was a bit noisy. They provided earplugs and using them we had no problem sleeping (although I am a light sleeper). The hotel looks really nice, staff was friendly, check-in and check-out was fast and without any issues. The location is great, about 10-15 minutes from the main train station and very close to the old town with the main sights. We could easily walk up the Alhambra in about 15-20 minutes.

Great location, basic hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Hair dryer did not work and would have liked to have seen separate wash and shampoo for a 4 star hotel. I would actually rate it 3.5 overall. Breakfast was fair, friendly service.

This hotel is definitely a 3 star with few amenities, however, it was so well located, the staff were friendly and happy, the rooftop pool is amazing and the breakfast is good. Beds were also comfortable For the price in the middle of summer you can’t get a better deal.

We booked in to stay at this Hotel to arrive and be notified that they had no rooms. After providing our booking confirmation, they lied and told us only room left had “leak” and they were fully booked so they organised for us to stay at their sister hotel 10min up the road which they said was 4* and said we would be upgraded as it was their better hotel - it was not! However, staff at Hotel Cóndor were fantastic and accomodating. Hotel Five Senses were not as friendly and basically lied to us. We booked this Hotel as it was close to old city. They didn’t care. Be careful when booking Hotel Five Senses do not trust!

Great hotel right in the center of Granada. The place is well selected as the main spots of Granada Cathedral, Alhambra and Plaza San Nicolas all within walking distance of maximum 30 minutes. The room we had was spacious, very clean and well equipped with all neede items including safe and hairdryer. We did not use restaurant and Spa therefore not comment. The breakfast was small but fresh. Means that a huge buffet as in other hotels was missing, however, eggs and other hot food could be ordered on demand. Bottomline, highly recommended excellent place in the heart of Granada.

We loved this hotel. We had the Junior Suite room and it was huge and so elegant. It had a four post bed, elegant furniture, double shower, separate bath, double vanity, separate toilet room with bidet. Then balcony was huge overlooking gardens, a great place to read a book in the afternoon when you het back tired after walking up to the Alhambra. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

I stayed for 2 nights on Business. Impressive Villa Hotel is beautifully converted and has an intimate but relaxed ambience with staff who are friendly attentive and efficient. Its location in the heart of the old centre is perfect, although if you have a car, sometimes the sat Nav is slow to react to the turns and small streets you need to traverse. I found it eventually, and parking was taken care of by a valet service that delivers your car right outside to your time. The rooms are elegant and well featured beautifully clean and fresh smelling. Most have small balconies, mine had two! Main street facing can be a little more noisy, but it's something that didn't bother me and felt like you were in the heart of the city experiencing the daily lives of the locals. The public areas were stylish and elegantly styled, there is a garden area where you can enjoy a the sunshine and a bar which will probably be opening regularly soon February is still cold at night. The restaurant was relaxed but formal with a quality menu beautifully presented and served by people who are enthusiastic about their local dishes. I will be going back as a tourist later this year and definitely will be booking Villa Oniria for our stay.

Nice hotel, but a bit noisy. Very cute interior courtyard, and the employees are super friendly. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, with high ceilings. It's just that the insulation towards the loud street, as well as in between rooms, is not great -- sensitive sleepers might want to bring earplugs.

Very nice interior, the bottle of wine in the room is a nice touch, staff very friendly! And good location We had a problem with a bad smell in the bathroom, staff did their best to facilitate. One point that disapppointed me was that our friends were in the honeymoom suite as they were getting married in Granada, but nothing extra was done for them, which is a bit sad for the price of the honeymoon suite.

The Generalife, an ancient Muslim palace, is renowned for its exquisite ornamental gardens that feature serene pools, charming courtyards, and a riot of vibrant blooms. When visiting Granada, it's essential to dedicate at least three to four hours to explore this stunning complex. If time allows, you can easily spend an entire day marveling at the intricate Moorish architecture found throughout both the Alhambra and Generalife.
Beautiful gardens with stunning views and a lovely scent from the flowers. The gardens are well kept, safe to walk or stroll a pram, and there is one drinking fountain to top up your water bottle on a hot day. Some steps are very deep and hard to climb if you have difficulties, but there are plenty of seats to sit and enjoy if preferred.

The Generalife is a true oasis of peace and beauty within the Alhambra. 🌺✨ Walking through these historic gardens felt like stepping into a living painting — vibrant flowers, perfectly manicured hedges, and the gentle sound of fountains and flowing water all around. 💧 The views over Granada and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking, especially at sunset, when the whole landscape glows. 🌄 Each corner has its own charm, from the tranquil courtyards to the elegant archways framing perfect photo spots. 📸 It’s the ideal place to slow down, breathe, and soak up centuries of history and artistry, away from the busier parts of the Alhambra. A must-visit for anyone who loves gardens, architecture, and a touch of magic. 🌟

Beautiful place for a walk. The buldings, fountains and gardens are amazing! There were water points everywhere, so you can fill you bottle every 5 minutes. Good marking, so you see everything.

The Generalife ornamental gardens are truly impressive through their combination of simplicity and strategic placement. Located at the highest point of the Alhambra, they offer many scenic viewpoints over the city and the palace. The symmetrical design creates a calming atmosphere while also serving a practical purpose, providing ventilation and plenty of shaded areas. If you're visiting in the afternoon, I recommend starting with the gardens. You can walk through in about 45 minutes, but for a more relaxed visit with time for photos, plan for 1 to 1.5 hours.
Razvan P — Google review
Together with the Palacio de Nasaries, this is also a Must see in Alhambra. It is a garden that only female royal families lived, so very beautifully constructed with artistic gardening. You need to book tickets well in advance. We did 6 months ago. Otherwise cannot see. Takes at least 5-6 hours to see all 4 in Alhambra.
Kate K — Google review
We started our Alhambra visit with the Generalife Gardens. Originally built in the 13th century as the summer palace of the Nasrid sultans, these gardens are simply breathtaking. Surrounded by a variety of plants and trees, you can hear the gentle sound of running water and fountains everywhere. The reflections, the scent of flowers, and the cool breeze create an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. Walking through the paths, with birds singing and water flowing beside you, makes you feel as if time slows down. The small pools and channels beautifully reflect the Nasrid architects’ love and respect for water. A refreshing, tranquil, and truly unmissable place in Granada! 🌿💧🌸

Good value for money. It has a good but expensive restaurant inside, great location and comfortable rooms but room service starts really early and you can hear beds being dragged around since 9am or so. At least the rooms have good sound isolation. Also, I have booked for a double bed and got a twin. The gym is almost non-existent, it is just some cardio equipment with small free weights and one broken bench where I has an accident and hurt my leg, by luck I didn't hit my face when it disengaged.

5/5 Excellent The location near centro is ideal for walking everywhere. The tree lined wide avenues are attractive. This hotel is immaculate, quality, modern. The breakfast atrium with high glass and superior breakfast was good. Next door we had the end sept celebration of Our Lady of Sorrows, a serious comminity celebration with bands, floats and a Basilica that was incredibly ornate . Room.was clean and acceptable space. All staff members friendly and helpful. A 5km run along useful straight major streets was good. Tourist tip if you want to see Alhambra book many weeks in advance or it wont happen. Be very careful when staying at this hotel. I was staying in 2013 with my family and we were robbed. While we were having coffee on the last day of our stay, someone entered our room, opened our bags and stole jewelry and money. This is the scam because people usually leave their bags closed and ready to leave and don't check anymore. They only miss it when they reach the next destination and then it's too late. I called the hotel and they said that they don't have cameras at the hallway, they didn't even pay attention to what we were reporting in a terrible attitude. It took me a long time to report this event, because I was fearful, but now I decided to tell our terrible experience in this hotel to avoid others. As I said, be very careful!!!!!!!!!

A fantastic hotel on the main Boulevard leading up to the old town. It is located next-door to a beautiful church and across the road from several restaurants and cafés. To the right is a beautiful fountain and to the left the main street leading up to the main Square. The room is comfortable and a reasonable size. It has tea and a kettle, but no coffee or milk. There is a mini bar and pump, action soap and shampoo. There is a safe and some hanging space. The buffet breakfast was varied and of good quality. Chef made omelettes were available.

Unbearable noise started by 6.30 in the morning by a many of rooms check out same time. This one lasted half an hour or so. Little after that cleaning of the rooms started with the noise even worse and it lasted hours up until around 9.30 am which was the time i left room. When i stay at hotel i expect minimum ~ clean beds and good rest. Beds were clean but rest was none. Only thing i like was bathroom.

Hotel was nice, room walls were paper thin we could hear the people upstairs, and next to us and in the corridor. The people room had no bath tub considering it was a 4 star hotel. For the price it was satisfactory. Service was great though.

The Smart Suites Albaicín is a stylish, design-oriented accommodation in a grand building near some of Granada's most famous attractions. The apartments come with all the amenities you need, and there's even washer-dryers available for an extra convenience.
Perfect place to stay in Granada, from the detailed instructions on how to reach the parking for the hotel, through the very narrow old town streets to the free room upgrade and the ability to turn on the AC any time of the day and the location for reaching all the sites we wanted to see was fantastic. All of the listed property faculties were present and in full working order. Staff were friendly and helpful, even help out when the hire care refused to go into reverse.
Ben S — Google review
Great location in the old city. They will send instructions if you arrive by car. For us google maps worked but also we confirmed our way there through the instructions the hotel provided. The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is really good.
Dina M — Google review
Excellent location, comfy stay. Sunset by the restaurant is better than any other spot. Great and warm hospitality. I believe if they fixed phone system, this would be great so we can communicate our requests easily without the need for physical visits and plans interruptions. If they can add more international tv options or modern tvs to stream our things would be perfect.
Mohamed G — Google review
I think it is one of the best destinations that you could choose in the old city Albaicin - Granada...Adrian was great and really helpful..he gave us names for great local restaurants and locations to go within a walking distance... finally the place has a parking garage which is incredible!
Wissam T — Google review
Absolutely 100% charming. Staff are so helpful. The suite was well-appointed and the terrace looked like a postcard. I am sad we couldn't stay longer.
Kate W — Google review
The service is friendly but the rooms are not the cleanest. There are a lot of bugs and dust everywhere. Also, the hot water wasn’t working in the evening, we had to call the 24/7 helpline to get it figured out but thankfully they were helpful. I would recommend taking local taxis to get to the hotel as the Ubers don’t take you directly there.

Room Mate Leo is a boutique hotel that offers stylish rooms with great views of the city. The rooftop terrace is a bonus, giving guests stunning city views. There's also free wifi throughout the city which makes it perfect for travellers who want to stay connected while in Granada.
Gorgeous hotel right in the city centre & so affordable! Rooms are modern & clean, facilities great and the views from the pool / terrace are amazing! Would definitely stay again. We chose to add on the breakfast one of the days for €11 - it was worth it, good selection of hot / cold foods & drinks.
Ellie T — Google review
Clean and tidy hotel with good air-conditioning in the foyer and rooms. Staff were friendly. Nice view from the rooftop. Good breakfast We booked because of the pool, which is more like a large jacuzzi without the bubbles. There's also no shade. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the centre of town. Driving to the car park can be tricky with no entry signs, etc.
AdamH — Google review
Room was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Friendly staff. And most importantly an excellent location, a quick walk to many of Granada’s main attractions and 5-10 minutes walk to the bus stop for the places that are a little further away. Several great restaurants just around the corner. I skipped the breakfast as there are better options in the neighborhood for a lower price than the hotel offers. Would stay again!
Alex W — Google review
I shared a room with a friend. It was neat, clean, comfy rooms, all amenities covered. Management treated us great, the view from the pool is unmatched in Granada and the honesty bar is easy to use. There are many clubs nearby, great location. Overall, can't say I missed a thing.
Arancha S — Google review
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city. You can park in a nearby public parking and get a discount (check with the hotel). The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit disappointing though, it was next to the elevator, had two single beds instead of a double, a bright green emergency light facing the bed which made it hard to sleep, and a leaking sink tap. However, the hotel was very accommodating about it. The rooftop pool offers a stunning view over the city (including the Alhambra and the Cathedral), although it’s more like a jacuzzi due to its small size and shallow depth. The breakfast was excellent.
V J — Google review
Excellent quality hotel, the pubic areas including the rooftop pool and terraces had great views with plenty of seating. Rooms were very well appointed and clean. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.
David B — Google review
Just checked out of Leo after a week's stay and I can't imagine a better place to stay in Granada. Right in the centre of the city with all attractions and the old town on the doorstep. The roof terrace and splash pool were a massive plus for us and watching the sunset from there was better than from the Miradors. Watching the hills of the Sierra Nevada turn pink in the sunset is a picture I will forever remember. The rooms, staff and service were all perfect. The hotel is spotless from top to bottom and reasonably priced. We spent our last two days on the roof terrace and had everything we could need. The honesty bar is a great idea and the huge ice machine kept us well supplied! If there is one suggestion to make it would be to put the sign asking people to shower before using the pool be put in a more prominent position as no one showered before getting in the pool and it was a little murky by the end of the day. Perfect hotel/perfect weeks holiday x

Amazing hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and so on point! We are here for our wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a nice surprise on the room and it was amazing. Thank you for that. My only advice will be: arrange some good working sun protection on the rooftop with the temperature of 38c. The honesty bar is wonderful and the prices are good.

Hotel Macià Plaza offers comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation in the heart of Granada, located on Plaza Nueva. The hotel provides understated rooms, some with views of the Alhambra, and complimentary guided tours. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast every morning and have free access to the gym. The hotel's central location allows for easy access to major attractions such as the Alhambra, the cathedral, Albaicin, and Realejo.
I had a great stay at the Macià Plaza. Despite overlooking the plaza, I had no issues with the noise. It's apparent they've put noise proofing on the windows. Great location with view of the Alhambra and solid breakfast
Brandon S — Google review
- Great location - Room was really clean (no mini fridge) - Receptionist at Check-Out: Rudy lady, very patronising & condescending. Tryied to charge me for breakfast I didn't have... EDIT: I’ve seen the hotel’s reply & just to clarify it wasn’t a “misunderstanding” the issue wasn’t about being charged, it was the way I was spoken to. The receptionist was condescending & dismissive when I calmly explained I didn’t have breakfast. Her tone & attitude completely changed what had been an otherwise pleasant stay.
Dolle D — Google review
Great value hotel that’s well placed for the Alhambra and central city. We had a comfortable room facing the plaza. The bathroom was fine, with a decent shower. A comfortable stay.
Tim — Google review
I don't understand some of these negative reviews lol. I'm surprised this is a 2-star hotel to be honest comparing other hotels from different cities. Super cold AC, noise at night was low, heated drying rack, and great location. People complaining about using a key and saying the interior is outdated obviously doesn't travel often. We would definitely stay here again and that says a lot. Staff was top notch, clean, comfy bed!
Jacob C — Google review
The location is top, but the rooms are old and in desperate need for a refurbishment. Nevertheless, everything is clean and smells nice. If you only stay for 1 or two days, it is fine. The problem is that the price asked is too high for what they offer.
Rentea A — Google review
Location of the hotel is great in relation to Alhambra complex, breakfast is served and rooms have got good view over the plaza. 2 minor issues : Water pressure at shower is too high and there is no mini fridges in the rooms.
Reza K — Google review
Hotel Macià Plaza is an excellent value for the amenities and location. The Alhambra, Mirador San Nicolas, and all the famous tapas bars are within roughly a 15 min walk. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The restroom doors don't lock and are translucent, and expect for shower water to get everywhere. That aside, the rooms are comfy and the view overlooking the plaza is excellent. Just expect a fair amount of ambient noise. Breakfast is located in the basement.
Michael B — Google review
Great experience at this hotel. Great price for the rooms which were really comfortable and more luxurious than the 2 star rating this hotel would suggest. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were a little small but very clean, tidy and modern. The bathroom was really nice too. It is in a great location and an easy walk to most places worth seeing in the city. The Alhambra is a very short bus ride away. If I go back to Granada I would not hesitate to book in the same hotel.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Granada, ECO Hostel stands out as a beacon of sustainability and comfort. This eco-friendly haven offers a variety of accommodations, from cozy private rooms to shared dorms, all designed with recycled materials and energy-efficient lighting. Guests can unwind in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying the on-site café that serves delicious bites. The hostel's prime location allows easy access to iconic attractions like the Alhambra and Albaicin’s charming streets.
Pretty sick hostel. Staff are amazing and friendly. Shout out to Meg! Definitely would come back. Recommend the hike to Sierra Nevada led by Marguerite! They have family dinner nights including paella and tapas. No complaints
Andre L — Google review
I absolutely would recommend the ECO Hostel for anyone traveling solo. I stayed in the dorms with cabin beds, which gave me a little bit more privacy. It was one of my first hostel experiences and it really broke the ice for me. Shout out to the lovely volunteers - Meg, Marguerite, Nelli, Hana and all the others - who bring the atmosphere together so well, also the dinners that they make are delicious😋. I had breakfast included which was pretty good as well.
Fanni E — Google review
Everything functions as expected. The room was spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed, clean shower and bath, and a well-designed common area. The café bar downstairs offers drinks and breakfast, adding convenience and atmosphere. The overall style is modern and tasteful—among the best hostels I’ve experienced. I appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a four-person dorm. The only drawback was the mattress: too soft and prone to sinking, which may affect sleep quality for some.
Steve L — Google review
I stayed at ECO Hostel because the reviews mentioned it was both social and a good place to get some work done. And that turned out to be true! They organize a family dinner every evening for €10 with different dishes each time, and there’s almost always free sangria on the fourth floor (where you also get a great view of the city). The ground floor and the back stairway are beautifully decorated. A small detail, but one I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend adding breakfast for €4.50, since you get a proper barista coffee and several options to choose from like bread with hummus, eggs, or yogurt with chocolate muesli. For my fellow digital nomads: the Wi-Fi wasn’t always perfectly stable, which made meetings a bit tricky. But outside of that it worked fine. Most of the staff were really friendly, especially the English guy and the slightly older woman. Unfortunately there was one girl who seemed unhappy to be there, and several guests mentioned the same thing: if you didn’t speak Spanish, she could be quite short or rude. I had a similar experience myself. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm with capsule-style bunks, which was great if you get a bottom bed, but just a heads-up: the top ones are really high! Even with those small things, I’d still give this hostel 5 stars mainly for the free sangria and the fun atmosphere!

We love this place! We are older than typical guests one imagines for hostel, but strikes the perfect balance on all the dimensions that we care about. Clean, friendly, easy to use, great location, super interesting vibe!!
Jgmf B — Google review
What a great place. The vibes are immaculate - beautiful art of all kinds, chill spaces. The staff were awesome - we enjoyed talking to all of them, watching them do their co-working thing. Socially, they plan little happy hours (a free Sangria), community dinners, activities. Seemed like a great way for the mostly-young and very global crew to spend some time in fantastic Granada. Good coffee, good breakfast options (for Spain). We are Gen Xers with a teenager and it was great for all of us. The rooms are clean and comfy. The location is also excellent, right on the Gran Via, walkable to everything, much more open than the denser Albaicín and all the wonderfulness higher up. Easy parking a few blocks away if you need that, lots of taxis up and down the Gran Via. Highly recommended.

i miss this hostel already. immediately from arriving it had such a homely, beautiful atmosphere. i would say it’s the perfect size to get to know each other within the hostel, the communal spaces are cozy but work well. the pool was also a plus for a nice cold plunge. overall a lovely place to stay at!! ❤️✨✨

A-ma-zing!! The staff goes out of their way to make sure Oripando feels like your home away from home. The hostel is beautiful with very nice areas to chill, have a beer or have a dip in the pool. If you’re going to Granada, stay here!! Good showers, great kitchen, decent breakfast, chill people, very comfortable beds and showers and just a really great vibe. View on the Alhambra y Sierra Nevada from the rooftop. They sell beers and other drinks as well and really create a great relaxed social vibe. When you come back after a day they’ll ask you how your day was, with the power cut they fixed food for everyone that needed dinner (because the restaurants were closed). Special thanks to Kevin, who made my stay extra nice by always giving me recommendations, helping me with my Spanish if I wanted to etc. Will definite return to Oripando if I’m in Granada again.

Although the walk up to this little gem may be a struggle with luggage it’s well worth the effort. I’ve stayed in many top rated hostels that don’t touch the personality and cleanliness of this little oasis. It’s full of character and amazing rooms that give you the authentic feeling of being in another time period. I wish my stay was longer than one night as I had to miss out on the meal and quiz night. Love the dogs, love the views, love the comfy feeling in f this place.

An amazing hotel in the heart of Granada. Located at a beautiful square in the old town. The room is huge and clean and has a great view over the square. The service was great. I stayed for two nights and the price was great for the value. It's near all the major sightseeing, including the cathedral which is 2 minutes away from it.

SCAM! We booked this hotel thru Booking.com, marked that we will arrive approx 17:00-18:00, arrived at 17:55 and found nobody (the hotel claims they have 24/7 customer service and speaks your language which is not true). Didn't expect that form hotel but ok, no worries, before arriving we received the instructions from the hotel how to get the key but the problem was, we did not understand them and couldn't find it. Then, tried to call them twice by the contact which was left on the front desk - no response. Also , we wrote a message thru Booking.com - no response. After 1 hour we couldn't wait anymore - we were tired after a long trip, hungry and it is a headache to park a car in Granada's old town (keep that in mind if you will travel there). We decided to book another hotel because at that moment we were sure that we were scammed. After more that an hour they appeared to be alive and started asking thru Whatsapp, where are we. We answered that we already booked another hotel and that we were left alone. The worst part, is that we were charged for the the whole stay (because is says if you cancel your reservation, you are charged 100%) but we didn't cancel, we were left alone and had to find another hotel in the middle of new city not knowing where to go. Will see how it goes, of course we will refer to consumer rights regarding this but if you can, you better go around this property and this host.

We had a nice two day stay in February. The location is perfect for exploring the old Granada with an endless number of great tapas bars, cafes and restaurants not to mention historical sights and nearby views of the Alhambra. Even in the winter the area is busy with families in the evenings and weekends. The hotel staff are helpful, graciously changing our reservation and holding our bags until the room was ready. There was a small refrigerator, but no coffee making in the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite spacious. The bathroom was modern and clean, however, there were several minor maintenance and cosmetic issues that should be attended to. We would recommend the hotel for short stays in Granada
Jim B — Google review
Avoid! Arrived at the “hotel” to a closed door and no one responding to the intercom or picking up the phone. Ended up having to walk into another hotel and get a room there. When I complained that it isn’t ok for the hotel to be closed in the evening and expecting customers to pick a key up from a nearby coffee shop (that closes at 21:00!) I got this rather rude reply from the management: “The message is automatic and arrives at the same time you make the reservation with the instructions for check-in. If you had internet to make the reservation you had internet to read the instructions. The hotel phone is operational 24 hours a day, to assist you. Apart from the cafeteria, I had another card available in a safe at the door of the hotel. And please don't give orders on how to run a business.” Wouldn’t recommend this place - if you run apartment accommodation then call it that instead of trying to pose as a hotel.
A K — Google review
Great location and great service. However, beds are a little squeaky. One afternoon when it was hot, air conditioning wasn't able to turn on as I was told it will only be able to turn on when its summer. The hotel runs by central heating/air conditioning. Heater on= air con cant be on. Doesn't really makes sense to me though Otherwise good stay.
Edwin Q — Google review
The host is extremely nice and the hotel has the best location on the town! You are walking distance from everything and you are 2 blocks away from the bus that takes you to La Alhambra. You are right next to the cathedral. Only thing is that the plaza in front of the hotel is a little bit loud but manageable!
Kike L — Google review
Excellent location, with the bus stop from the bus station as well as tourist spots just nearby. In the heart of the city and tourist spots like the Cathedral, Royal Chapel, Alcalceria, Corral del Carbon just a 2min walk away. Nice, modern big rooms, fully furnished, with a bar fridge and water replenished daily. Not too expensive as well. Free coffee/tea and snacks like bread provided too! Receptionist was friendly and helpful just made everything almost perfect. How it could be perfect? If they provided laundry service and if the shower was made a little deeper - currently it's slightly recessed but water doesn't drain instantly so some water spills out of the shower. But these would be really nitpicking.
Boon T — Google review
The location ia very good! The services are bad! There was nobody at reception to open the door when we called to inter phone. The room was not to cleaned. We requested ti have our bedsheets changed as they were smelling and had hair from previous guest. The sink is in the room and the toilet is near the bed.

Seda Club Hotel, located in Granada and less than 1 km from San Juan de Dios Museum, offers luxurious accommodation with a range of amenities. This 5-star hotel provides a concierge service, tour desk, private parking, and a terrace. The rooms are well-equipped with bed linen and towels. Guests can enjoy the attentive staff's excellent service and attention to detail. The hotel boasts an old-world modern chic ambiance with comfortable rooms featuring high-end amenities such as electronic toilets.
Absolutely Outstanding – A 5-Star Experience in Every Way This hotel truly deserves a solid 5-star rating across the board. From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded all expectations. We pulled up in a rental car, and the staff immediately took care of parking for us. Our luggage was promptly handled and securely held since we arrived early and our room wasn’t yet ready. The check-in process was seamless, allowing us to begin exploring the city without delay. The hotel’s location is ideal—within walking distance to many of Granada’s top attractions. When we returned a few hours later, our room was ready, our luggage was already inside, and we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome treat of chocolates and snacks. Every detail was meticulously taken care of, making our stay truly exceptional. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable, well-located, and impeccably managed stay in Granada.

So glad we picked this hotel in Granada! The attention to detail here is unmatched. Service was excellent from everyone but especially Chahinaz. I’m vegetarian and she took time to look at local restaurant menus and help recommend places to me, she was always super helpful. Housekeeping was great, they even wrapped our charger wires, very detailed and thoughtful. Breakfast was very tasty, service was good & the coffee here we had with the hotel breakfast was the best I had in Spain. The design of this place is gorgeous, it feels like you’re in a Pinterest board, and the lobby music is nice too. Very clean as well. Extremely hospitable place! What could have been better: - TV & tablets need an upgrade for the price of this hotel. They were outdated and not very functional. - AC wasn’t strong enough in the day, but we came at a very hot time and this just seems to be a regional norm. - Wish we had the option to raise the lights in the shower room more, it was too dark. - Couch in our living room area wasn’t very comfortable. - Wish our rooms had some sort of view, our windows faced another building. Charming place overall & would definitely stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay at the Seda in October. From the location to the room to the attentive staff, everything was outstanding. When the staff consistently remembers your name, you know it’s a special hotel. The only downside: we only spent one night! Can’t wait to return.

We recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Granada and were very impressed by the rooms and décor — elegant, comfortable, and true to the character of the city. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, making check-in and our overall experience smooth. However, there was one area that could be improved. The bar service was disappointing. Despite sitting at the bar for about 30 minutes with several staff walking by, we weren’t acknowledged or served, and when we finally received our drinks, they didn’t quite meet expectations for a five-star property. With a bit more attention to service, this hotel could easily live up to its five-star potential. It’s a stunning place to stay, and we hope to return once these small but important details are addressed.

Completely happy with my stay here. Reminds me of a 5 star hotel I stayed at near Covent garden in London. Staff very friendly and attended to everything. Had a personalized tour set up for Albaicín through the hotel, Absolutamente perfecto! Great location, room and internet speed great, breakfast was great. Reading the negative reviews it seems like there is a battle about service. I didn't have any issues but I am also very low maintenance. Overall my wife and I had a five star experience.

A big statement but this has been one of my favourite hotels in the world!! It really holds its 5 stars well but not in a stuffy or pretentious way like some hotels. Firstly location is perfect, super close to everything you would want to see! We decided to drive and have an affordable private carpark with valet service, perfect considering I’m not used to tight European car parks (one less thing for me to worry about.) Hotel itself is a beautiful and artsy space, something I really appreciate! We didn’t get a chance to try the bar, but looked well stocked. We did try breakfast however and was delicious and freshly prepared, although it you’re in Granada I would go find some churros for breakfast at least one day. Finally the room and service was polished and friendly! Won’t give it away but there might be some little treats given during your stay, which make coming back to the room exciting. And finally, it’s all the little things they did while we were out, from arranging our lotions to neatly tying my charging cables! If you want a 5 star experience in Spain please try here!!

We had a wonderful stay at Seda Club Hotel Granada. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out — Laura and Chillia (sorry I forgot the pronouncation) at reception were warm, welcoming, and very professional both check in and check out. The bar and breakfast team made our visit a pleasure, and the gentleman who helped with my luggage was equally attentive and professional. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a stunning interior that feels both stylish and comfortable. Amenities are thoughtfully provided and of excellent quality, adding to the overall experience. I also have to mention that they make an outstanding Negroni at the bar — definitely one of the best I’ve had! Please do check out their stairs. Overall, Seda Club Hotel Granada combines top-notch service with elegant design and great hospitality. Highly recommended.

Hotel Palacio de Los Navas · WEB OFICIAL is a stylish hotel housed in a 16th-century building, offering free Wi-Fi and featuring an internal courtyard. Located in the central-Realejo area of Granada, it boasts a rich history as it has served as a hospital, convent, and private home over the years.
We really enjoyed our stay in this cute hotel. The staff are beyond helpful. The location is great, everything is in walking distance. So close to great restaurants and bars and yet still quiet, although I go to bed early (much earlier than closing time) I couldn't even hear the night life outside and I was only on the 1st floor, a solid sleep every night. It's an old building so there is a bit of wear and tear but... All in all a perfect gem for the price point.

Charming hotel with lovely rooms and a top notch friendly staff. The optional breakfast was quite nice as well. This was our fifth hotel as we’ve travelled across southern Spain, and by far, our favorite. The only downsides are the all-night weekend partying we could hear all night. And certain rooms, like ours, face a building under construction. So we did give the location a 4 instead of 5. But otherwise the location is extremely walkable and convenient to the Alhambra and the Mercado, with services and restaurant choices everywhere.

Avoid this hotel. I’ve been bikepacking in Spain for a couple of weeks now. This is easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed in; regardless of how many hotel “stars”. The receptionist was the rudest person I’ve encountered in such a friendly country. It seems she was annoyed that I had the audacity to bring a bike (it was technically my only bag). Every exchange with her was extremely unpleasant and negative, as if I was inconveniencing her at every moment. My guess is she is a control-oriented person and my existence ranged somewhere outside of her comfort zone. Whatever the case, I felt like I was walking on eggshells every time I walked into the hotel. Also the breakfast was better than “bad” but certainly not “good”. The rooms are adequate, but are not sound-proofed from hearing people next door or the loud streets. The location is lackluster. It’s a be near touristy bars. The better stuff in town was all over 1km walk away.

Lovely hotel! We had some train issues and had to leave early, but enjoyed our time here - the room was nice and clean, both in the design and actual cleanliness of the place. This is a fun location to stay in - great food all around and a short(ish) walk to the Alhambra.

What a fantastic find! Great location centrally, with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Amazing value for money. The hotel is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were also fantastic. The lounge area feels like a luxurious living room, so comfortable. Stay here!
Mark R — Google review
We spent two nights in this hotel. The room itself is well decorated and clean. Unfortunately It was really noisy and could hear people on the street all night long. The strangest part is that the hotel has no capability to set the temperature and fan speed in the room. The staff told us the remote control of the A/C has no function but only on/off. We stayed here in December so A/C only blew really hot air. Due to the noise outside we couldn’t open the window to get fresh air either. It would be much better sleep with better temperature setting and lower noise level.
SH L — Google review
In a historic building though the original interior was removed and totally reconstructed. Room is standard. Good location and friendly staff. But soundproofing is really poor. I had a room on second floor facing the street. Can’t get asleep on a weekend evening with all the drunkies on the street…
Jack C — Google review
Staff were great: they were welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for a restaurant. In the room, the linoleum flooring throughout and other finishes were not the standard for a hotel described as a historical building. The baño needs deep cleaning to remove grime.

This charming, historic hotel sits atop the Alhambra hill and has stunning mountain, city and countryside views. It took four years of restoration work to transform this 1880s carmen into a totally charming seven-room hotel with gardens full of lemon and orange trees, ancient cypresses, creeping bougainvillea and patterned cobblestones. Expertly run, its popular for its seven jolly rooms, sparkling gardens and splendid panoramas.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with a stunning view, and it’s very close to Alhambra Palace and the town center. We highly recommend it. Alejandro and the entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We loved it! We will definitely return.

We were more than lucky to come across this gem, with gorgeous grounds and stunning views from all parts of the accommodation. We stayed in the Tower. The room was generous and comfortable with two sets of French doors that led out onto a wide terrace. Here we were treated to the beauty and charm of Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The location meant we could easily access the Alhambra and the surrounding walks, and make our way down the hill to historic town and its restaurants and cafes. Alejandro is a wonderful and highly personable host who is generous with his time and knowledge. He and his wonderful staff made sure that our stay was memorable. Thank you to them all for their fabulous hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular. Wonderful small hotel perched high up with excellent views. Alejandro was extremely knowledgeable and helpful regarding giving advice on the area etc. Rooms were clean and spacious with high ceilings that gave it a very open feeling. Bit of a walk down into town but using the option (as there are more than 1) of taking the steps is far easier. Coming back up we always would take the bus and get off at the stop just by the Hotel Alhambra Palace, or a taxi to the Hotel, which is then just a 2 minute downhill stroll to the Hotel Carmen de la Alcubilla.. Gardens are lovely to sit in, very peaceful and the patio area just outside the door off the small dining area where breakfast is served, is a sun trap in the afternoon. We were lucky with the weather during our short 3 night stay as temperatures were in the high twenties. Great time.

A gem in Granada! My husband and I stayed 3 nights in late April 2025. We were blown away by the hospitality and kindness of the owner Alejandro and highly recommend this very special boutique hotel. Our arrival coincided with Spain's national power outage and Alejandro handled concerns in such a calm and reassuring way that was so appreciated at the time. Everything was wonderful. Thank you Alejandro for a fabulous stay.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carmen de la Alcubilla del Caracol. Alejandro and his helper Robin could not have been more gracious and generous with their time and hospitality. The room was excellent both for the size, comfort and view. For us the location was a plus, offering quick access to the town as well as the Alhambra. Having said that, you MUST be fit enough to climb stairs to stay here or else take taxis both down and up from its location. Otherwise, perfect

Alejandro went to endless trouble to ensure our car and bikes were parked safely. Then we could explore Granada without any worries. Alejandro explained all the important sights and how to use the map. Our accomodation was excellent, with grand views and breathtaking sunsets. A pleasure to sip wine in the garden with nature at her best after a day walking. Vanessa

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Carmen de la Alcubilla del Caracol. Our room was a good size, clean and large bathroom, but the best part was the terrace. We had a beautiful view of Granada. The location was great...mind you, everything in Granada is uphill unless you stay in town. We were uphill near the Alhambra. Definitely would recommend, we had a great stay!

Located at the foot of the iconic Alhambra on one of Granada's most picturesque streets, this charming establishment is housed in a beautifully restored 16th-century mansion overlooking the serene Rio Darro.
PERFECT location. Super central, while quiet and very cosy. The staff is also super helpful. We have booked a spa 6 min from the flat and have been enjoying several tapas places thanks to their recommendations. So many nice stores and restaurants nearby. It’s home away from home.

We had an incredible stay at the El Ladrón de Agua in Granada. The design of the rooms is impeccable and gorgeous. Well furnished with all the amenities. We loved our apartment with a balcony overlooking the river and under the Alhambra. Perfect location at the base of the Albaícin. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly, with many great local recommendations. I can't wait to come back!

This place is amazing; very new, clean, and beautifully furnished. The owners are incredibly welcoming and generous. We requested early check-in and late check-out, and they not only accommodated us but also upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment at no extra charge. The location is excellent; very close to the city center, markets, and just a 20-minute walk to the Alhambra Palace. Beautiful city and beautiful people!

We stayed here in November over a weekend are were incredibly impressed. The location is perfect for exploring Grenada - you're right in the middle of old town and an easy walk to everything. The hotel has recently be refurbished and everything is beautifully presented. The staff were very helpful and the check-in super smooth. The electronic locks on the apartment doors meant we didn't need to worry about forgetting our keys, which was great for us. The apartment itself was really well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could need, there was a TV with lots of channels, there were really nice toiletries supplied and plenty of very soft towels. The bed was so comfortable - we slept wonderfully. We cannot recommend this place enough and we would not hesitate to book this hotel again next time - it was perfect for us!

Amazing stay - if you have a chance to stay here, jump on it. There is a soul to the hotel. Functionally, the WiFi was perfect (worked remotely for a week with tons of video calling), the sound proofing was fantastic, and there’s no better location to explore or simply enjoy Granada from. Remarkable hosts, ask them for the story of the place. Little details were all thought through when they remodeled this.

The most beautiful, accessible and worthy place to stay in Granada. We’ve stayed there more than 5 times now. Every time it’s like a first. Olga and Miguel are gems, the most kind and helpful people you will come across. The appartements have breathtaking views on Alhambra and is situated at the start of the road to albaycin so you don’t have to walk 2km up Hill with your luggage at 1 min plaza nueva with all the comodities. My partner and I fell in love with the place and we’ve been coming here each time we come to Granada, the managers always made us feel like home. Expect a clean, stylish and impeccable appartement with gorgeous views. 💚💚

Alcaicería is a historic Arabic-style bazaar in Granada, now located in narrow alleyways between the cathedral and Plaza Bib-Rambla. Once a sprawling marketplace for North African spices, silks, fabrics, and ceramics, it was reduced to its current size after a fire in the 19th century. Despite its smaller scale, Alcaicería still offers boutique stalls selling shawls, scarves, jewelry, and handbags with intricate Moorish designs.
It definitely gives you a reminder of what it would have been like under the Islamic rule of Granada between 711-1492. The vendors are not pushy and you can happily stroll and take photos without any trouble.
Akil M — Google review
A very beautiful traditional market with a touch of historical Islamic era. I love the Moroccan vibes of this market. There are so many items from clothes to colorful trinkets & souvenirs. The prices are a bit expensive for certain items. I would suggest Medina gift shop nearby if you are looking for tshirt/trinkets/small souvenirs at affordable prices.
Nina I — Google review
For the ones like us who like strolling in markets and narrow streets. If you happen to decide to buy something, don't hesitate to bargain, and this is for 2 reasons: 1. The prices are inflated compared to other parts of Granada 2. Simply, you're expected to do so, and you wouldn't want to disappoint the shopkeepers, would you ;-)

If visitors have been to Morocco, the settings and the scenes would be not strange to them. Dozens of shops selling similar cheap copied goods, rather colorful and oriental staffs. Construction Work Detracts from an Otherwise Pleasant Stay Unfortunately, during our stay in May 2025, extensive construction work was taking place right in front of the hotel entrance. In addition, the rooftop terrace and pool were closed due to renovations—a real shame, as these areas looked particularly inviting in the photos. Despite the hotel's location on a busy street, noise was not an issue thanks to the excellent soundproofing: we couldn’t hear any street noise, sounds from the nearby school, or even the construction. The room itself was nicely darkened, and the bed—including a wide selection of pillows—was exceptionally comfortable. I slept very well. The hotel offers two underground parking garages: one with direct access to the building and another across the street. The parking fee is €18 per day, though it may be lower when booking directly through the hotel. The parking spaces are somewhat tight and require careful maneuvering, but they are still usable. Due to the construction, we had to move our car once. There was also a brief power outage one night, but it didn’t cause any major inconvenience. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. At check-in, we received useful tips about local attractions. We spontaneously chose to upgrade to a Junior Suite, which turned out to be a worthwhile decision: for an extra €33 per night, we got an additional room with a cozy seating area. An early check-in was accommodated without issue, and the late check-out until noon was also appreciated. On the ground floor, you’ll find the reception, a restaurant with a bar (which we didn’t try), a small but well-equipped fitness room (with a treadmill, step machine, bikes, and strength equipment), and the breakfast area. Breakfast was very good: tasty, varied, and featuring a number of Spanish specialties. The (freshly squeezed?) orange juice, pastries, and fruit were also of good quality. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. However, the design of the breakfast area could be more inviting—it felt a bit sterile and plain. Unfortunately the employees seem to be under much pressure and start stressing the guests even if breakfast is still served for more than half an hour (until 10:30 am). The elevators were quick and provided easy access to the rooms and, in theory, the rooftop terrace—which, as mentioned, was closed due to construction. The room itself was modern and clean, with no carpet, large TVs, a well-stocked (but paid) minibar, and a spacious bathroom. A generous selection of quality toiletries was provided. Again, the sleep quality stood out: the bed was very comfortable, and the pillow menu was a real benefit for me as a side sleeper. The only real downside was the unreliable Wi-Fi. There are grocery shopping options near the hotel, though not many appealing restaurants. We reached the Sierra Nevada quickly by car. For our visit to the Alhambra, we took a taxi, which cost about €10 to the Gate of Justice. We walked back from there. The city center is also about a 20-minute walk away—a pleasant stroll with plenty to see. We especially recommend exploring the charming side streets away from the main roads.
Jens H — Google review
This hotel is excellent. Excellent two underground carparks. Staff are very helpful. Roos are clean and smart. The bed is huge and comfortable. Bar area is excellent for a drink in the evening. Did not use the restaurant for breakfast as many bars and cafes close by and a LOT cheaper. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Overall..I have returned and will return again.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are very helpful. The A/C is also nice and powerful which was vital for us. There is a bus stop right around the corner which brings you to the heart of the city for a low fare. The science park is also a very short walk from the hotel which was a great experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Rooms are big enough with a nice view to the mountains and a separate bath tab and a toilet set of bidet. Nice and wide bed with pure white sheets and linens. Breakfast is pretty good with a nice selection of drinks, fruits, hams, cheeses, sweets. Swimming pool is at the top of the building with a breathtaking view and comfort service. Definitely this hotel is one of the best options for comfy and not super expensive stay in Grenada.
Katrin H — Google review
Excellent customer service from everyone at the hotel. The room was a very good size, clean and with a large bathroom. You can make a reservation to include breakfast, which I recommend. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food. Coffee a bit weak. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown (Santa Ana Plaza) Granada and a 25 minute walk. Very nice walk. If you plan to sleep in on weekdays ask for a room that doesn’t face the school.

Mirador de San Nicolás is a bustling square situated on an elevated hilltop in Granada, offering stunning panoramic views of the Alhambra. It's renowned for its dramatic sunset vistas and is considered one of the best spots to admire the fortress from afar. The square is located in an old neighborhood and provides unobstructed views of the entire Alhambra, making it a must-visit location.
It’s a good location to view Alhambra, also very busy at evening, everyone has been told this is the best spot to view Alhambra when the lights are on. It becomes more popular because of the South Korean TV romance drama, you can see a lot of East Asian. It’s not a long walk uphill from the busy street, maybe 15 minutes if you are a walker, but it will be challenging if you walk during the day when it is hot. The view is worthy. And it’s free.

This is the spot!!! This is the best spot!!! if you're looking for a viewpoint of Alhambra, this is the one! I've been looking for this spot for a long time, I kept searching, kept mapping on the map to find the exact location and I finally found it. There are no parking space, there is restaurant outside, which they don't let you park there you can just park from down hill and take a walk to the view point.

Gorgeous nighttime views. The food was delicious and had very generous portions (so much so we ended up ordering too much food). If you want a table at the edge of the balcony, I'd advise you to reserve one like we did. Staff were attentive but didn't rush us through ordering or the meal.

Hotel Granada Center is an elegant and modern 4-star hotel located in the heart of Granada. It offers upscale rooms and suites with amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and private bathrooms. The hotel features open-air dining at its a la carte restaurant serving international cuisine. Overlooking the city, it is conveniently situated within walking distance to Granada's old town, the cathedral area, and the Alhambra.
Amazing hotel that feels and is posh, but is not expensive. Great aesthetics, nice décor, fantastic comfy rooms, great bar, convenient location. Loved every second of it. Become a member to get better rates and bar/restaurant vouchers. Parking is a bit tricky but the staff are happy to help
Dimitris M — Google review
Hotel Granada Center It is in the details that one distinguishes the ordinary from the truly remarkable. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels ranging from three to five stars, and repeatedly within the Center Hotels chain, I must observe that while some gestures of comfort are offered, fundamental aspects remain overlooked. Reception: Pleasant and efficient. Special mention goes to Olga, whose professionalism and attentiveness merit a full 10/10 – many could learn from her example. Room: Appropriately sized, with very good acoustic insulation, ensuring a restful stay. Bathroom: Rather small, almost challenging in its layout. It lacked a towel rail, and the overhead shower was in urgent need of maintenance. Cleanliness: Impeccable. A well-deserved 10/10. Breakfast: Unfortunately, this was the weakest point of the stay. Options for diabetics, vegans, or guests with gluten intolerance were extremely limited. The lack of consideration in both the volume and selection of background music created an atmosphere far below the expectations of a four-star hotel. Parking: Located in the basement and charged separately. Convenient, though not without its challenges. Overall Impression: While the hotel provides comfort and maintains high standards in cleanliness and reception, the absence of refinement in crucial guest experiences – particularly accessibility, dietary sensitivity, and ambience – leaves the overall impression somewhat short of its four-star promise

Good hotel, a short walk to the center. Rooms are not very large, but comfy and in good condition. Bathroom is nice as well, although I do wish the shower head had a longer hose and the floor was tilted towards the drain, instead of being completely level, because it floods a little bit. The breakfast was surprisingly good, both bacon and eggs were very tasty, large variety of other goods as well. Their parking is tiny, if you drive anything longer than 4.50 meters, you will struggle.
Ventsislav K — Google review
It is located at a great location. Minutes from the train station and a short walk from the historic center. The room and the bathroom were spacious. The check in took some time because the process is old school but other than that it was a good choice.

Very nice hotel, but why do so many hotels have steps from the reception area to the elevators? There are only six, so most people should be able to lift their cases, or I'm sure the helpful hotel staff would help It's not a problem if you use the underground car park, but the car park itself is tighter than a two dollar watch and the steep ramps are a real clutchbuster! Unless you drive a small car, or are good at judging the extremities of your vehicle I would park elsewhere Room was very nice and AC worked well but the shower drain couldn't cope with the amount of water coming from the shower so I had to take contemplative breaks with the water turned off during my routine Breakfast was great-lots of choice and everything was fresh. Coffee machines were a little temperamental but staff soon resolved the problem after leaving enough malformed drinks next to the machine I found the flashing lights on the lifts very annoying, but I'm being a bit petty Found an interesting book with a folded page corner at breakfast. I don't read books, but maybe I should start?

The rooms are big and clean. The parking is something you need to take care especially with a big car as it has parts extremely narrow and it’s 21eur/day. They don’t have irons in the room or to borrow which is something I have never encountered in other 4* hotels. They basically make you buy the ironing service. The breakfast is ok, could be room for improvement. The center area is about 15’ walk away.

At the border of the old centre, so easy access , incredible friendly staff, 6th Floor rooms with a great terrace, clean rooms, good bed. Excellent breakfast buffet. Two thumbs up👍🏻👍🏻
Ronald V — Google review
Clean room, but there is no clothes iron available, you instead have to get your clothes iron by the staff for 7€/piece. Breakfast is good, staff is friendly, parking is underground but be aware that is very tight.

Hotel Catalonia Granada is a stylish four-star hotel offering a range of amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel features elegant rooms and suites, along with two bars and a rooftop pool providing picturesque city views. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of a spa, gym, and indoor swimming pool for relaxation. Additionally, the hotel offers practical services such as 24-hour reception, buffet breakfast, room service, car rental, and laundry facilities.
Really nice place to stay a few days. Staff were all very friendly, room was clean and spacious, decent fitness center, and convenient location for a reasonable price. Only downside would be that the hotel restaurant and bar are pretty overpriced, but that's to be expected with a 4 star.
Jonathan D — Google review
Room was warm. There are restrictions on the AC, so you can only lower it to a limit and the fan speed was really slow. We had one day of cool air so we opened the windows, but the other days we had no relief because it was hot outside. The office could not override the limit. Breakfast was decent. Room was clean and spacious. Location was nice near the bus stop.

Finding a nice hotel in Grenada can be tricky. The Hotel Catalonia is a great find. Very comfortable and well designed rooms with nice touches, like easy to use shower fittings and a really long bench which can take two or three open cases easily. Also a well stocked mini-bar. The room service meal was delicious and quickly delivered and not expensive for the quality 80E for two inc a bottle of wine. Courses are generous. We shared a mixed salad and fruit salad. There is parking right outside for dropping your cases and a garage round the corner with T2 chargers that work with chargecard. There is a spa, a rooftop pool (which we didn’t try) and they take dogs. Two bowls and a comfy bed were waiting for our dog when we got in tired and hungry from a long, hot drive.

We stayed at this hotel for the last two nights and have been pleased. First off, the front desk staff and support team are excellent from the moment we walked to each time we sought out help & support. They also fixed our room safe, answer questions, and delivered member welcome gift to our room. The room was a standard room and sufficient with plenty of room to move around, a nice desk, and great shower. The room cleaning was sufficient, but they didn’t take dirty glasses or other used items that were from food, and they only provide a single caffeine and a single decaf coffee - I know I could ask for more, but I’m addressing convenience. Breakfast was ok, I do like scramble eggs and the ones here not fully cooked. They have an omelette bar, but it didn’t open when the breakfast room opens, on our second day it opened about 45 minutes after service began. They have a nice bar where I enjoyed a nice afternoon beer while I worked on my journal. I liked the location because we arrived and departed by train, and this hotel is within walking distance of the train station.

Hotel Catalonia Granada is a nice modern hotel offering lots of amenities! The complimentary buffet was excellent with a diverse selection of breakfast foods to choose from. Our room was very clean and had a really great updated shower, too. They also have a small rooftop pool to enjoy. The hotel is in a safe area conveniently located and easy to navigate. It is a smart choice to stay while in Granada, Spain.

A lovely hotel rooms were very clean, very quiet and well equipped. Staff were friendly and breakfast was super lots of choice. The hotel is away from the main tourist area but we found that perfect for use. It is only a 10min walk to the main areas.

The team at the Catalonia Granada went out of their way to welcome me. Thank you. I’ve stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and no request was too much trouble. Lovely well-designed rooms, air-conditioning that works, excellent showers, quality linen and a nice rooftop pool and bar all complement staff who are clearly empowered to make the guest experience great.

Hotel Puerta de las Granadas is a charming 19th-century building with a mix of old and new architecture, offering contemporary and colorful interiors. Situated at the foot of the Alhambra, it provides stunning views of the ancient citadel from its rooftop terrace and some higher rooms. The hotel's prime location makes it an ideal base for exploring Granada's main attractions on foot.
The plane was so comfortable and pleasant. It exceeded my expectations. Everything was very clean, and the staff was a 10. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of those memorable places I would certainly recommend to family and friends. The terrace has beautiful views where I would take my coffee up and read in the early morning. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and one of the kitchen staff came out to explain everything his team prepared, making it feel extra special. The food was great, with lots of options. We also booked massages, and that was another amazing experience. We really appreciated our early check in!

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Puerta de las Granada. The front desk employees were accommodating and helped me to prepare for my tours. They were also able to give me a late checkout. The hotel itself was modern and had many areas such as the 2nd floor patio and rooftop to relax and take in the sights. My room had a terrace that had views of the Alhambra. I was pleasantly surprised by the location. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your next stay.
Diana D — Google review
Boutique Hotel Puerta de las Granadas stands out for its central location in the old, historic part of the city. What really makes it special, though, is that it’s not a soulless, corporate block where every room and corridor look the same. The hotel makes the most of its historic setting by giving each room its own personality. We stayed in a room with a small balcony overlooking the street, while other rooms face the courtyard—and from the top floor, you can even see the Alhambra. The hotel also sets itself apart with an on-site café, restaurant, breakfast buffet room, gym, and library. The reception and breakfast staff were very welcoming. It took me a few seconds to figure out how to use the shower—there are instructions on the glass door—but once I did, it was fantastic. The Japanese-style toilet is a unique feature in Europe and a nice surprise.

A good clean and modern hotel, with a restaurant on the ground floor and terrace. It is very close to the Alhambra (being on the road to it) and is situated with many restaurants around it. We found the rooms a little small - we booked a triple room for two of us and a baby and there was only just enough storage space for a few days worth of clothes. The shower was also in the middle of the room, so wouldn't be appropriate for groups of friends travelling together. We had a view of a wall, but at least that meant the room was quiet. It was a good room to sleep in, but not somewhere that you'd necessarily want to spend much time otherwise. We had problems with the restaurant upstairs, which spoiled our stay a bit. We asked at reception one evening if the restaurant on the terrace was still open and were told it was, so we made our way up there only to be told it was closed and they were only serving food downstairs. Because of this, we booked at reception to have lunch on the terrace the following day, but the next day we turned up to find out the booking had been made for the wrong number of guests. Check-in and check-out were both very easy, and staff speak English as well as Spanish. The breakfast seemed very expensive (€12 each), nearby cafes will do good quality coffee and toast for €3 each.

Parking and access are hard if you are arriving by car, but the staff did their best to help. The city is very walkable, so once parked, we did everything by foot and the location was perfect for that. Rooms were great and exceeded our expectations.

Slightly uphill from one of the main roads on street leading upto Alhambra. Modern for the area located, surrounded by souvenir and othe small shops. Great location for sightseeing.

Wow! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Puerta de los Granadas! We had been slightly worried about the location due to its proximity to Alhambra, but without cause. Check in was seamless and our room was amazing - great mattress and an excellent shower. Our room looked out back and was absolutely peaceful
Lauri — Google review
The accommodations were exceptional, featuring an outstanding shower and a magnificent Alhambra view. The property was impeccably clean and centrally located. Furthermore, the staff were remarkably friendly, welcoming, informative, and efficient. We plan to return.
