Traditional Andalusian restaurant. Tasty dishes but I ate better tortilla, except this all other was very good and well prepared. The restaurant is crowded and noisy for me it wasn't a problem, you can feel local atmosphere. If you sit beside toilet you can feel detergents that is not favorable. The staff was quick and well coordinated.

Best meal in Spain so far! The oxtail was amazing! So tender and savoury. Service was super quick even though there’s a line. You can go straight to the bar to skip the line. There’s a charge for bread they automatically bring to the table, but the bread was really good with the oxtail. Pricing was also very fair. We didn’t try other dishes so I cannot comment on those. But the place was busy with both tourists and locals so that’s definitely a good sign.

It’s a popular authentic old tapas bar. Expensive and food is average. Take a seat outdoor with 10% service charge. Even though you not order the bread but it will count on you. I visited on Thursday but too crowded inside the bar, only could take a seat outdoor, feel stressed and pushy. There’s lot of good tapas bar and I will not return. P.s. : Comment on other review with free tapa but seems like there’s no luck to me even I order 3 glass of wine.

Had a wonderful evening at Bodegas Castaneda last night, we popped in for a drink and became immersed in the atmosphere and the unexpected benefit of free Tapas. It’s a great traditional bar that serves nice food, so you do have to grab the waiter or bar man’s attention and be patient. Was a lovely evening and great value.

A bit disappointed by this restaurant especially after having tasted other very good restaurants in Granada. Bodegas Castaneda is often recommended as the most authentic and local restaurant in Granada and there is often a short queue to have a table. The food however is average, nothing exceptional except for the Rabo de toro which was simply exceptional and delicious. I suggest to try other restaurants in Granada first before trying this one

Very disappointing experience. We saw this place on a recommended tapas place so we went… but totally ruined the night. The waiter who seemed to be the manager, Jose was so rude and kept making us feel like we were bothering him for ordering drinks… he was sitting down by the stairs smoking and ordering other waiters to do things. We ordered the most expensive Jamon but it was too salty that we couldn’t finish it. Won’t be back.

I recently returned from a vacation in Spain. During my trip to Granada, I had a very unpleasant experience at this establishment. They brought me bread even though I didn't order it. The bread was stale, but they double-charged it on my bill. Imagine my surprise when I ordered a seafood salad and saw finely chopped tuna, peppers, and onions (not exactly fresh), drenched in a huge amount of vegetable oil. I also ordered a Russian salad, which consisted of mashed potatoes with raw potato pieces inside, drizzled with mayonnaise. I found a small piece of wire in the puree. When I showed it to the waiter, he responded, "But it's only one small piece." Honestly, in my 50s, having traveled to many countries around the world, I have never tasted such disgusting food. The waiter laughed at my bewilderment. They serve bad food and behave disgustingly. I will never go there again. I recommend trying other restaurants in Granada first before going here. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED

Good place to dine! We decided to eat here based on the reviews. We did decide to get there early 7 pm, and it was a good decision because later in the evening many people stayed outside waiting for a table. We ordered a variety of dishes to get a good idea of the quality and taste. All dishes tasted good. But I was disappointed about the consistency of the oxtail in peppers. It was more like a glue/dough in texture very off putting, taste was not bad. But would not order or recommend to eat. Service was nice but inconsistent on how quickly things arrived. Initially fast than we had to wait quite some time for water and other dishes or the bill. Atmosphere is nice and good for people watching, it seems to be a very popular place on the busy shopping street.

What a gem of a restaurant! We enjoyed a lovely, pressure-free lunch here, and a big part of that was thanks to our waitress, Ms. Noelia! She was so warm and welcoming, and her knowledge of the menu was a lifesaver. We trusted her recommendations and were not disappointed—the food was incredible. The combination of great food and Angel's friendly service made for a perfectly pleasant dining experience.

Could be a confusing system- in order to get tapas, sit inside, There’s no separate tapas dedicated menu, u can refer to ‘para picars’ for typical tapas- for foreigners, but thanks to Carlos for being kind to explain the system for us and we enjoyed our dinner here. Foods were great. And remember that they will serve you free tapa whenever you order a drink. Better not to order too many dishes! xD

Great experience at Los Manuels! The fritura was delicious and well garnished definitely a highlight. The music and overall vibe made for really good listening, adding to the relaxing ambiance both inside and outside. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you're in Grenada and looking for good food and a nice atmosphere!

Fast service and friendly staff. They recommended a sherry that was right in the middle, not as sweet as PX and not as dry as Fino, and I really liked it. I think it was called Dulce Misterio. Sirloin with vegetables was solid. Meatballs were a miss. They spoke English and understood everything. Easy 4 stars.

We came here after 6 hours of Alhambra tour. It was almost 4pm and had not many choices. Ordered a few. It was just okay. Breads and other free side dishes were not good.

The drinks were on point, and the bartenders were awesome. With your drink, you get tapas. Whatever tapas they gave out that night were excellent. But most of all, the music was good, and the crowd was great. We also met some new friends there. Carlos and Maria were quite the characters. Great times and a great night.

Great venue. Our band has played there twice, and the staff (especially Carmen, the sound tech) is amazing. Food is top notch, and the beer is ice cold. It’s one of the coolest music venues I’ve ever been to in Spain and anywhere in the world. It’s honestly an anomaly how great this place is.

In Central Granada, this quaint little hostel has it all. Atmosphere, ambience, a bar and restaurant, a roof top terrace and clean rooms for sleeping in. However, be warned. The rooms are placed around, with the courtyard in the centre, which is where the bar and restaurant are. They are always busy and every night there is music, and it echo's throughout the building. The room doors shut out a bit of the noise, but not enough. Also, the showers are push button type showers, so you need to keep pushing the button to keep a flow of water, and the stalls are small with no 'safe' place for your towel. It is a bit of an awkward set up for a bathroom shared by potentially 6 people. So if you are like me and really love a good shower in the morning, maybe another place will suit you better. Of all the hostel beds I have slept in, this was the most uncomfortable, as well. The service was good and the room was clean and the price was right.

This is an amazing bar in Granada. We went there for afternoon coffee and then for evening drinks. The atmosphere is charming and charged, the music is really cool and the space is pleasant.

The food was hit and miss, we had noodles and salmon dish, noodles were perfect, salmon was a disappointment, for the start it was a cold dish, I would move it to starters from the main course and ditch the ice cream, it does nothing to compliment the salmon. We had chicken bits for starters they were nice and we had bitter orange cake for dessert wich was not, the bitter taste overpowering everything, I would serve the bitter syrup on the side of the cake so customers can decide how bitter they want it. I could taste this cake for hours in my mouth after and it wasn't pleasant.

Had delicious pork shoulder at the server's recommendation. She also delivered free pork bites after we ordered sangria. In Grenada you may get free tapas when you order drinks. We also ordered fried cheese fingers for an appetizer, the cheese was wrapped in a flaky dough - they were good.

Estefi was amazing! We ordered everything she recommended - burrata salad, vaca premium clandextino, the red wine & even the pistachio cake. We even had a free tapas of grilled pork that was so good too when we ordered drinks. Everything was so good, truly a great last meal in Granada 😌

We ordered two different meat dishes, and both were excellent - you can see them in the photos! We wanted to try the grilled artichoke, but unfortunately it wasn’t available that day. Miguel and the bartender were very attentive and kind. A great spot to enjoy Andalusian flavors with a stronger focus on quality meat dishes.

Good food and nice service, but a bit too much salt on the food for us. It’s very busy, book a table in advance is a good idea, but I think it’s ok for walk in.

We ordered both the abanico Iberico and clandextino and it was simply amazing the service from start to end. Fanie was very attentive from us asking for a table right before they close at 4pm to clearing the tables once there was an opening. The meal here was perfect.

Nicest service and absolutely awesome food. On top of that, the prices are incredible for the quality they serve. It is a great option for take away, as there are only two small tables - but if you are lucky enough eating in is an amazing experience.

Super happy with this little place! Only had two tables. We were fortunate to snag one for lunch. I ate the beef and mushroom cannelloni. You can tell the pasta is fresh and the cheese is homemade. Great service. Excellent Italian red wine. Really happy with this meal.

Hands down one of the BEST Italian restaurants that I have ever been to! We ordered the caprese salad, spinach and ricotta tortellini, cacio e pepe spaghetti and the tiramisu and everything was delicious! Service was also excellent.. the restaurant is small with limited seating so you might need to wait a while for a table but it is well worth it! It was so good that we came back to have dinner here as well.. will be back again for sure!

This charming little gem is almost perfect! We had the burrata pomodoro with pesto, the burrata and pesto were both super fresh and superb. We followed with a mixed meat cannelloni, which tasted primarily of mushrooms, earthy amd delicious amd a classic cacio e pepe spaghetti. Prices are very reasonable, in keeping with the humble surroundings (only two small tables and no air conditioning) and service was the best in Granada! We made a new friend, and sang along with the chef as she prepared our meals steps away from us. Bravo!

We tried having dinner but the restaurant was packed (good sign). We reserved for lunch for the next day We were served potato omelette for free - I appreciated that, something to whet our appetite while perusing the menu. We decided to have the Jamon and Salcichon for starters. The Jamon was sooo good. Went well with the Rioja wine and Cervesa we were drinking. We had the grilled lamb chops and pork. We thought it would not be enough because they were small but it was just right . We had space for dessert and we ordered Bartolillo- we enjoyed that very much If you are in Granada, try out this restaurant- you will not be disappointed. Good food and good service

Good food given prices. Can recommend cod-omelette, lamb leg and lasagne-black pudding. Steak tasted meaty and was perfectly cooked, unfortunately the steak was not tender enough or high enough quality for the price. Would not order steak here again. Overall good experience,, but not full score.

Fantastic Restaurant with in- and outdoor seating and long opening hours with very friendly and efficient service. The only restaurant in our 10 days stay in Granada, where we were twice. Which tells much, because there are so many great places.

A meat lovers paradise! We enjoyed some excellent pork and lamb. The serving was generous. However, I would have like a larger side of vegetables and fries. Service was polite and prompt. Good value for the amount and quality of food. Easy to recommend.

Their smoked salmon and tomato toasts are absolutely delicious! We ended up coming back for breakfast here every day during our holiday in Granada. They use incredibly fresh ingredients, and it’s hands down the best breakfast spot in town. The wait can be a bit of a downside, but it’s totally worth it.

One of my favourite places in Granada. Apart from the best view ever, the tostadas are amazing and fresh. Staff always very friendly. You will need to wait to be seated but it is 100% worth it!

This was my favorite coffee shop in Granada. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the quality of the food and drinks is exceptional. We want there during our stay in Granada and the coffee is very. Their breakfast menu is also good. The people who run it are very nice. The out door seating gives you a perfect view of the Alhambra fort and the street is very charming. You must go here if you are traveling in Granada.

It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a café this much. The food is absolutely delicious—fresh and carefully prepared. Prices are very reasonable, and you definitely get more than what you pay for. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. I especially loved their coffee; it’s made with great care and you can taste the quality in every sip. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, perfect whether you want to hang out with friends or spend some quiet time on your own. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back!

I like sweets a lot but most of the desserts in Spain and Portugal are too sweet for me. This is the best pasteleria shop we found so far in Spain and Portugal with over ten shops we tried. If you like desserts with a bit of savory taste, pls try their pistachio basque!!!! Its Rich cheese taste pairs perfectly with the salty pistachio paste. Other desserts are good as well and the texture of the cake is soft and moisture.

One of the best cakes I've ever had in Spain. Really recommend the meringue cake. Coffee is also very nice, not too strong and acidic, well balanced. Will be back to try the pianonos. Update: came back the next day to try their pianonos and a flan cake. Best pianonos and flan cake I've ever had, definitely superior quality to Ysla.

I've had the best churros con chocolate in Andalusia, and maybe all of Spain - here. Yes, you read that right. I also bought one of their artesanal chocolates con naranja and it was amazing!

The desserts are truly delicious, including traditional favorites like Bizcocho de Crema Tostada and Megengue cake, as well as savory empanadas. The coffee is excellent too!

A small bakery at the city centre of Granada. They offer different pastries. We had something called Patel de something, but didn’t like it. The staff was slow and not caring to serve us.

An amazing find! Quiet spot out of the way of tourists. Very friendly waitstaff. Above all, great Andalusian tapas and wine at a fair price. Highly recommend the ham and beans, and the garlic infused artichokes.

So you have to stay in line to wait for the table. So choose the right time, and you are not hungry, so you will not be hangry 😉

We had the famous arroz con pollo Peruano and the anticucho (ox hearts). Both dishes were flavourful and delicious. Not to mention generous portion sizes!! Can’t wait to return!

We discovered this charming little place while exploring Granada. The tinned fish and the Iberian ham were absolutely superb. Delicious indeed! It was as good as it gets, and we visited twice! We are also bringing home three tins of Melva. Gracias.

Although located in a very touristic part of the city, this is a place that gives you an experience as if you belong here like a local. The tapas, the drinks and the experience was like no other and I love this hidden space in Granada. They opened up at 7.30 and by 8.15 the place was full! Will definitely come here again.

Amazing venue with top notch charcuterie boards. The place was pumping and it seemed like there were a few locals coming in and saying g’day to the other regulars thought the night. The wines were great (including some local reds) and the charcuterie board was not only plentiful but also delicious. Hope you like your pate!

Cute place with lovely view. The staff are friendly but they the two guys we dealt with did not speak English, so it was challenging to understand the menu and order. It took quite a while for the food to come and the main course has arrived before one of the starters. The food was avarage, the chicken was what stand out from the food we ordered.

Amazing BBQ restaurant with fantastic views, it's arcane reservation policy may put some people off but it's worth the pain. The charrasco is awesome, the spatchcocked chicken both generous and full of flavour, and if you go in lamb season, nothing beats the shoulder!

As everyone has mentioned, the view from here is spectacular. Though in order to achieve that view, you need to walk quite a bit uphill! Head straight back behind Campo de Principe and it's on that road, just up and up. Some dishes require pre-ordering so they can have it fresh on the day for you. Call ahead and reserve dinner for 10pm or later (9pm you'd be dining alone) and order a half chicken, rabbit, ribs... All delicious. Cooked and served as they are, no flavouring is really added (it seems). Sides can be ordered at the meal but it's the meat you'll be after. Cheesy bread and potatoes weren't that great and for dessert, the tirimisu is liquidy, not sure if that was their intention. Tomates aliñado is a nice starting dish to prepare you for the meat overload! I gave it 3 stars as it's good, but not amaaazziinnggg like I expected.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered modestly: the crispy pork and the seabass with meat sauce. Both dishes were superb. The ingredients were evidently of high quality, each element thoughtfully paired to create a balance of flavor and texture that spoke to the chef’s precision and palate. Even with a limited tasting, it was clear that this kitchen understands harmony and restraint. Unfortunately, the service fell short of the same standard. Despite the restaurant being relatively quiet—no more than four tables occupied—the staff took a surprisingly long time to take our order, forgot our wine entirely, and ultimately left us to walk up to the counter to settle the bill ourselves. It’s a shame, because the culinary experience deserves to be matched by seamless hospitality. Still, I would gladly return for the food alone—it’s that good. With more attentive service, this could easily be one of the city’s standout dining experiences.

The food was very good, the roast pork shoulder and pineapple dessert was impressive, rich and tasty. The only drawback was that the table was not very clean, but the food was satisfactory.

This place was amazing! From the views of the Alhambra and old city, to the fantastic food and kind and attentive waiters. I was so impressed by the waiters- watching them run back and forth to the kitchen across the street. They were there before I even had to ask for something. I had the croquettes con jamon and the lamb chops and both were FANTASTIC. Topped it off with some recommended wine and was the perfect way to start my stay in Grenada. Thank you!!

I went there with my colleagues from a medical congress it was a wonderful experience, the views where lovely and so was the food. We tried lots of things and for me the highlight was the main dish, the cod fish in a beetroot risotto ( simply amazing) another highlight was the excellent service the waiter was super helpful and nice. I recommend to order the tiramisu dessert as they prepare it in front of you it's a fun experience and it tastes great.

Carmen de Aben Humeya offers incredible views of the Alhambra, elegant service, and creative Andalusian dishes. The grilled sea bass and cheesecake were both excellent — beautifully plated and full of flavor. The terrace at sunset is magical, quiet, and romantic. It’s pricier than the average tapas bar, but totally worth it for the view and experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Granada!

Very romantic atmosphere, perfect for couples. Amazing view of the Alhambra palace. Colours of the Alhambra at sunset were the highlight of the evening. Book well in advance. The lamb tangine was very tender and full of flavour.

Food was excellent. Recommend Lamb tagin and beef sirloin, both were just amazing. Followed by the bass. Service was underwhelming for the price. But atmosphere was good.

Nice place with a good selection of beers. They mainly have beers but wines are also available. They have a nice selection of tapas to choose from (included or additional cost) with the drink. Seems to be an area for a younger crowd but nice to go for a quick drink and tapa. Service was good as well as the food. Definitely recommend if you are close by to stop here.

International place with middle east touch, visited mainly by tourists. Good vibes though. Service is friendly and fast. We had veggie samosas (very good) and patatas bravas. Discovered a hidden gem! This tiny restaurant packs a big punch with its delicious food. The veggie options are great- the lasagna was juicy and flavorful, and the beef empanada was a highlight. But the real star was the Pastela a Soja, made with caramelized onions and almonds - a unique flavor combination that I loved! Despite its small size, the place has a big personality. Went to the restaurant for brunch. Ordered seafood paella and squid ink paella. Tried the homemade smoothie too - named " Energetico" . Food tasted great. The lady owner was friendly, warm and very welcoming. The ambience was great and I love the deco of the dining area. Highly recommended.

Authentic food. My husband and I stopped by this afternoon and tried the smoothie, falafel, hummus, and pita bread. It was one of the most amazing meals we had in Granada. The food was surprisingly good and tasty! I was just checking into my hotel nearby and decided to give it a try. I have to say, I am going back; everything in the menu looks pretty healthy!

The young girl helped us choose the perfect meal. She was super nice and warm. The food was just delicious. We ate Ensalada Elvira which was huge (7€ easily split for 2 people), Borek de Espinacas y Ternera and a great soup: Harira Marroqui. Nothing was spicy but very well seasoned. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

Although the place was packed we managed to get a table right away by opting for dinner versus tapas, which was fine by us. Lovely food and wine for a fair price. Enjoyed the moussaka and my partner ordered the special of the day. The waitress was very attentive and polite- very good service from start to finish. Would come back for tapas at one of the super cute tables in the alley.

We ate lunch here twice due to the very good food and excellent service. Nice outdoor patio, and free tapas with a drink. Guac was great as were the pulled pork tacos, and panko chicken tenders.

The food is soooooo good. I didn’t expect to be as happy with the meal as I was. It’s a little in from the main strip, so it was quiet and not full at all. But what a hidden gem! So glad I found this place on google maps. Definitely worth it

Great little find, especially when you are tired of the traditional tapas. Food was amazing, and a great mix of cuisines. Best by far were the pulled pork tacos 10 out of 10. And what’s even better that with every drink ordered you get a free tapas! If you’re looking for something a little more local, with a great atmosphere, selection of food and amazing quality food, then garden plaza is the spot for you.

Great place for some Asian inspired tapas. There were plenty of available seats indoors but after a few minutes we were able to move outdoors when a table became available.

Service staff seems a little overwhelmed with the amount of guests. Quantity of food is good but quality and taste nothing special. Wok noodles very oily and burger + fries comes with no sauces. Prices in my opinion quite high for the quality/taste/price.

great experience, and the tapas after you buy a drink is great. they have a choice of 5 or 6 and though they are smaller portions they are well worth it if you buy any alcoholic drink or non alcoholic drink. we also bought some salad and nachos off the menu and it was a great salad. Spanish fair didn't offer much in terms of veggies for me so this salad was a bit of taste from north america

Vibrant and cosy place! Food awesome! Service outstanding! With each drink you get a free taps, the surprise is that is not an ordinary tapas, they got a lot of good taste in those tapas. The lady with the long blond hair is amazing, giving all the clients a good vibe and offering a 10 out of 10 service. If you visit Granada on fast forward this is the place I recommend to grab a quick bite and feel energized.

If you buy some cocktails, just know that the bar does not give you tapas because it's not included. Weird because you buy more money with cocktails so if you want to have a tapa by your drink just ask for a beer . Little disappointed. It was not mentioned on the menu . We asked for an arrangement but still no tapas.

The beer is very good. They have ales! The food is awesome, and nothing like your usual tapas. The staff are lovely, and the music is cool. They speak English.

Excellent wines and great tapas. This place is the real deal, wines of all varieties the service was wonderful and they encourage tasting out a wine before pouring a glass. My partner and I had such a great time and loved the small plates of tapas! It’s a local favorite and I recommend checking it out for an authentic Spanish experience.

Unfortunately for me the chicken burger wasn't very good, it's made of minced chicken which I've not seen before in a restaurant, only in supermarkets, but it didn't taste very nice. The chips were good though and the staff were nice. The one thing that was really good (although I didn't get photo of it) was the pistachio cake, that was very nice and I'd definitely have that again. My boyfriend said his beef burger was ok.

We have been here three times - giving them the chance to convince us of their product and service. The burgers are ok but lack freshness. They are quite greasy unfortunately. The atmosphere is disappointing. The outside area lacks cleaning and caring. The service is the biggest issue. The waiters really have an attitude problem - as a customer you feel like a burden and not welcome. Also, the tables are so tiny, you have no space to eat comfortably.

The sweet potatoes was great. But the burger was raw inside. Order your burger well if you still want to eat from here. And good luck. I hope nothing happens to us. I wouldn't recommend it.

Had the MOST AMAZING food there. Caesar salad was fabulous (one was enough for an entire meal for one person or as an appetizer for three people). We also had the Brutale burger, Irreverent burger and Pulled Pork burger--all were awesome! Very unique and not just your same old American hamburger. And the sweet potato fries are to die for! (Although not super crazy about their processed cheese drizzle.) (And to the other reviewers who go to a hamburger place and are looking for a vegetarian meal--what were you thinking?!?! It's a hamburger joint!) There is indoor seating, outdoor seating, and even upstairs seating. The place is very tastefully decorated and cute. But it gets even better. The wait staff was probably the most amazing in all of Granada. They were super friendly, attentive, and helpful--and they all worked together as a team. It was a very excellent experience. We will be back again and again. P.S. sometimes they make mistakes. But if you bring it to their attention, they quickly make it right.

We got seated right away. I was shocked at how quickly our food arrived given how busy the restaurant was. Had the American Smash Burger and it was absolutely delicious. The fries were also great. If you are in the mood for a burger, look no further.

Words can’t describe how good my burger was... I would give my firstborn for another delicious one... chapeau to the chef! Now lets get real for a second. There’s a beautiful Ambiente, our waitress was very nice and we didn’t have to wait long at all. You get a side with every burger you order and the price is very reasonable for the location as seen in the pictures. While you wait for your burger you get a bowl of peanuts which is neat. Since there are so many delicious options to choose from, we will definitely eat here again.

Restaurant with tasty fast food. We ordered burgers and nacho chips. The portions were much bigger than we were used to and we couldn't finish it. The service was kind enough to pack the leftover food and put it in a bag for us to eat later. When asked how cooked I wanted the burger I said rare. Rojo? Yes. The outside had a baked coating but the inside looked very undercooked, it was soft and the same as when it just came out of the package. I ate it anyway, but the idea of undercooked meat didn't quite sit well with me.

I have walked past this place several times until today. The sun shining on the terrace was the obvious pull. There was a family having breakfast and I was served immediately. I ordered cafe con leche and toast with ham and melted cheese. This time I made sure I asked for melted cheese. As you can see from the photos, I didn't get it and the toast was slightly burnt. Just a little bit more care would have made this experience better.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Owners/workers are liars. They told us we get tapas with our drinks and then rudely laughed in our faces when we asked where they were. Will never come back and would recommend never coming here ever. Tapas aren’t a huge deal but the customer service is well below par and pretty mean tbh.

This place is, at least, well maintained and somewhat clean, and the food was cheap. The dining experience, however, was ghastly. Chef and waiter were having an argument as we walked in, which is not the best sign. Waiter served me a veal burger instead of a chicken burger, then insisted it was a chicken burger. We also got the Berenjenas, which could be best described as a plate of deep fried aubergines smothered in molasses, and nothing else. Would have been better with a smaller portion and something on the side to give the eater a break like a salad. Didn't even finish them between us as they were so overpowering.

As seasoned travelers, we always try our best to learn about and be within the culture of the place we are visiting. It was no different at this restaurant. Yet we were yelled at and served terribly for simply not understanding that one tapas came with each drink order. Perhaps the staff was having a bad day. Regardless, the experience was awful, and we left feeling the staff were discriminating against us due to nationality.

For us it was excellent value for money. We started with some tapas and cañas and got our appetites sharpened. Then we picked dishes from menu del dia and everything we ate was good quality and great taste (favourite was plato alpujarreño and custard). As for service, we felt we were well taken care of even during busy lunch rush. Recommended!

We came midday so kitchen waa closed so we could have either cheese or ham as our free tapa. Both were of excellent quality. This place wasn't too crowded, even outside (where we also got the free tapa), as it's outside the tourist center. Staff was very friendly, would come again.

I found this place and it was great. ! They've got a cool mix of Thai and Japanese food, and it won't break the bank. The staff are super friendly and know their stuff—they'll help you pick something whether you like it mild or extra spicy. Totally worth checking out if you're into Asian food

Got a shoyu ramen for 12.8€. It tasted ok. Nothing too special. The portion is quite small even for a girl.

Didn't get a chance to eat here. Their Instagram says they are 100 percent halal but they serve pork. When asked they said only chicken was halal. Also it was unclear if they cook the pork and chicken products together or separately as there was a language barrier to understand the situation. Probably a great place for locals but not so easy for tourists.

Best noodles anywhere! I always eat here whenever I’m in town. Try the Cosmic Thai. So fresh and full of flavor!

Good place. The waitresses were very kind and helpful, one of them spoke English and she translated some parts of the menu. We ordered two beers and got free tapas which we could choose from menu - this is not usual in Granada! The beer was refreshing and for a good price.

At beginning I was thinking to take tapas, but they start to ask me for the menu del día. In the end, it was the right choice. So good! (You can find prices updated in their Facebook page)

The service was amazing. The waitress was super kind. Food was great. We had a daily menu for 11€ and were so full we did not even have space for coffee. The menu included two dishes with drinks, dessert and coffee. The site is not great but the kindness of the staff and good food make it worth while.

The place is located in front of a parking, which is not the best situation to enjoy your meal outside. Moreover the air evacuation of the kitchen is blowing the stream on the table, with all the smell. The food is not sensational, and the service is not more than this.

Aside from the Alhambra, this was the highlight of my visit to Granada! The proprietor was extremely welcoming and he answered all my questions. I first came in hoping it was a restaurant - it wasn't - but he was so nice that I decided to come back later to get pasta to cook for dinner. Boy, was that worth it! We had an absolutely fabulous pasta dinner and the pasta itself was just amazing. It hardly needed sauce, but we used some sauce that I bought from La Casa! Absolutely worth going to!!!

As a person that loves sushi and has tried many different places, I never expected to receive bad sushi one day. Both the tuna and the white fish nigiri (that were part of a box menu) had a terrible smell of rotten fish and the tuna looked off. I ate the maki, but I wonder if that was a mistake and if I'm gonna get food poisoning tomorrow...

The best sushi tapas for the price and speed. They never disappoint and are very friendly. You can easily get full as a couple under 20 euros!

The owners were really nice. It is a tapas bar which serves japanese dishes. I.e. you order a beer and get a free tapa. The tapas are small but I guess it is like this in any other tapas bar. The food is nice.

We found the waiters not too friendly and even though they agreed to sit us in the upstairs part of the restaurants which was empty they didn't seem all that happy. The food was good and prices were decent. As we had arrived quite late for lunch the place was very full of locals and some of the food we had wanted to order had run out. I would say that if we had arrived when it was earlier and less full maybe our experience would have been better. For those not aware in Granada every time you order a drink you get a free tapas with it. So the 1st drink has 1 type of tapa the 2nd a different kind etc. A lot of locals just eat from the free tapas and you can only do that in the outside and downstairs part of this restaurant and the reason that the upstairs was completely empty as you need to order from the menu. I would definitely recommend eating here but arrive before the crowds.

Great tapas which you can choose from a large menu! But beware if you are a group of foreigners who don't know their rules for ordering. This is the only place in my 3 months stay in Spain that scolded us off more than once because we were unaware of their strict ordering procedures. Not exactly friendly or welcoming. But ok if you come by yourself during the day. Not a word of English either.

Definitely worth venturing to el Zaidin to visit this little gem of a tapas bar. Friendly service and a great selection of fried seafood tapas. Las tortitas de camarones are to die for!

The food is really good. The place has good seating but it’s hard to tell because you can’t tell from the front. This tapas bar is usually pretty busy. It’s known around Zaidín as a favorite. I’ve only had there patatas bravas so far but some of the more tasty ones I’ve had.

Saw the sterling high reviews and we just walked in for dinner. This place has a high turnover - service was prompt, food came out quick and they were good! Paired with a bottle of red, perfect. We sat outside on a beautiful night and it was a good experience overall. Recommend!

The food was quite good, especially the meat board to share. A lot of variety. Some plates were a little salty to our liking. Service was friendly and flexible (we were permitted to sit down on the terrace even before their opening hours with our big luggage).

Unfortunately, I expected something different, staff looked so overworked and needing a rest, tired that they look bothered when you ask them to help you very politely, the olives and cheese in the beginning were super tasty I ordered a homemade rice, rice need more cooking I believe, and the meal needed more salt, salt wasn't on the table so I gad to ask for it. And one more time please when your employees are overworked give a rest. I saw another customers old man and woman and they looked very bothered and disappointed by the delay and waiter's attitude, some waiter are better. Not going to mention names here. Focus on long term reputation dear manager

The food lacked depth and refinement, falling far short of what one would expect at this price point. Service was indifferent, bordering on neglectful. It’s disappointing when branding exceeds substance. We left unimpressed — this is not a place we would recommend to discerning diners

After a long day of exploring Granada’s streets, this restaurant offers a great place to savor delicious food. Despite its central location, the prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is exceptional.

My understanding is that this is a chain, at least it looked like there were several of them. That said, the food was fairly good, which isn’t always the case when there is more than one restaurant involved. We were taken here on a food tour, and this was our first stop. The atmosphere is excellent. The location is wonderful, right in the middle of everything. We had some tapas. And they brought out a couple of different types of meat and some bread and a really interesting fried eggplant with a molasses-type topping. The eggplant was so thin and the breading was excellent; one of the meats was good and one was very good. Even though we went as part of a Food Tour,, I could see the prices on the menu, and they really seemed to be reasonable. And again, the atmosphere was sweet, several intimate tables. This would be a nice spot for some afternoon tapas and drinks! I was surprised it wasn’t teaming with tourists, which is also very nice!

The food was devine. We had patatas bravas and fried cod. Best food in Spain! So flavourful. The tapas was great as well green beans and ham. Busy as any good place should be and service coped well. Definitely worth a second visit. Too many tempting things on the menu

There are many restaurants in the street, At La Cueva de 1900, I and my wife had a lovely light meal at 23:00. The tuna and vegetables salad is nice.recommaned.

It looks like a very nice place. I went in and ordered a drink and got a small tapa. I was not very hungry and unsure what I would order. I was thinking to order a small lunch or even a dessert if the waiter came to ask. However nobody came to ask after 30 minutes. So I finished my drink and left. I was not sure if I should’ve asked first or I should just wait. Anyway, the ham I tasted was very good.

I definitely liked the sandwiches for breakfast, especially the chorizo one. The waitress wasn’t so mice though and couldn’t help with the menu much. Everyone else was also trying one of the variety of sandwiches with the coffee. Recommend it totally for a fast brekfast with fair prices.

Despite the kindness of the waitress, they are not looking for what is the best for the customers, they are salesmen rather than customers oriented. Price was out of any parameter in town. Just as example - 12 euros per small shrimp was ridiculous ! Don’t fall into this trap, there are many restaurants with same quality with better taste and price.

It’s such a terrible and horrible experience, the good thing is the waiters are being nice to me, but the big problem is the price and the food quality, almost a scam, 6 super small shrimps 26 euro without any side dish like salad or fries… in the end I leave without touch the food, hope they can understand it something from it

A very good honest restaurant with excellent service. I had the best Dover sole for years ... my partner had the hake ... again superb. The portions are more than generous so my advice is order to share 3 dishes between 4 of you .. in order to have space in your tummy for the most delicious puddings. The casatta - a frozen cake/ice cream is so so good ... just eat it ... I had the most enjoyable experience at Cuninis ...

Outstanding gem for seafood of all types. I wasn’t sure of the different types of seafood on the menu so I took the waiter over to the seafood case and pointed :) I ended up with Dublin Bay prawns, which were delicious. Everything was perfect, even the salad was a high point. Lovely service, great food, nice quiet atmosphere.

These cost €51 nice....... but seriously, it's not worth that. So the waiter took our order and brought out what may be 300g of prawns, we asked for one serve 100g. I think this is his scam, so watch out. Was okay/good up until that point.

Wonderful tapas. Nice service in lively setting. Close to the cathedral. Don't believe the gripes about this being a "tourist trap." That simply isn't true. This is mostly a local hang out. Everything is very fresh. Even the free tapas were excellent. Emphasis on seafood and fish. Reasonable prices. Full bar too.

We ordered a lobster for an adult and a child and they brought the biggest one they had and we felt helpless. We had to pay a lot of money. The waiter never asked us about the size nor price. We are completely disappointed and therefore cannot recommend it at all. We felt completely ripped off. Worst experience ever!

We had a lunch here after we read some recommendation for their paella if you are staying in Granada, as one of the best. Paella is trully delicious, its not baked as usual, but instead is "soupy" and creamy. It really is tasty, only thing is that it could use a bit more meat inside, since rice and vegetables dominate. Waiter is so lovely and nice, he really tries to acommodate everyone, so they have big plus for that. Only thing is their service is general where you wait a lot on your food and also when you want to get a receipt they are bit slow and process is a bit complicated until you can finally pay. Nevertheless, nice home-vibe restaurant. Paella is 12,5e for person but portions are huge!!

Decided to have late late lunch and chance on Nemrut along Plaza Nueva. Ordered Doner of mixed pollo y beef on pita with all mix ins. The serving size is extra generous of both beef and chicken with topping of onion, lettuce, cheese and tomato. Takeout was piping hot. Service was quick and efficient, signboards wEre accurate and staff helpful. Quantity was generous and made up for the taste which usually Taste was a bit unexciting-missed the tangy yogurt tones and .ild kick from chili.

I popped into Nemrut Kebab-Pizza at Plaza Nueva during a busy day exploring Granada, and it was a solid choice for a quick meal. The falafel plate was tasty—crispy outside, soft inside, and came with a decent portion of fries and a small salad, though I wished there was more sauce to liven it up. The hummus was smooth and paired well with the fresh pita, but it could’ve used a bit more seasoning to really stand out. I also tried the Nemrut special pizza, which was a fun twist with doner meat and a nice, chewy crust. It wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it hit the spot for something different. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, and the prices were fair—around €12 for a plate and a drink. Service was efficient but felt a bit rushed, and the dining area was lively but could’ve been tidier. Overall, a good spot for a casual, affordable bite if you’re craving Turkish flavors in Granada!

We were SO tired after a long day of sightseeing in extremely BEAUTIFUL Granada. The day was amazing, the only thing that could make it better at this point was a delicious pizza. Unfortunately, that never happened. The crust? BURNED. It looked like it survived a forest fire! The size? MICROSCOPIC! The workers? In NO HURRY. We waited for over 30 minutes for a simple pie. How long does it take to toss a pie in the oven? What were they doing? MAKING FUN OF US TO PASSERS BY. I wouldnt eat here again if it was the only food source in town, i would rather walk 200kms to the next village. Only choose this place if you want to pay for food poisoning!!

Pretty average stuff. The food is uninspired but it will do the trick when you're hungry. Honestly though, I've had better Kebab in Poland. Service is on the slow side and not exactly what I would call enthusiastic. On the bright side the prices are reasonable and the outdoor seating area benefits from an excellent location.

The beef kebab ( chicken was not available) tasted like cardboard, both the beef and tge bread. The people working there seem to just want to get the job done, rather than friendly serving customers. On the plus side: you can sit outside on the plaza.

Excellent food with fantastic service and wonderful atmosphere. Food was both authentic and so tasty. We had croqetas and monkfish salad to start and a black squid paella and chicken and vegetable paella. We were well looked-after and had a brilliant evening.

We came to Granada craving authentic paella, and this restaurant exceeded every expectation. The seafood paella was absolutely incredible — rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Our host was so welcoming and kind, treating us like royalty from the moment we arrived. We loved it so much that we asked to return the next day, and she graciously held a table for us at noon. A true highlight of our trip and a must-visit for anyone in Granada. Highly, highly recommended!

AVOID. The slowest service I’ve ever experienced in Andalusia. We’ve been waiting for our starter for literally an hour and came only one anchovie(which is cold and doesn’t require any cooking). I can’t even think when the paella would arrive. Unless u have a lot of spare time to kill or u r not so hungry, DONT COME

Wish I could give a better review, but the paella is very salty. I couldn’t finish it. I don’t know if this is the standard taste or is it just my liking. However, i would not recommend this restaurant. :(

Hands down one of the best paellas I've tasted in my life! Texture of the rice is just right and the flavour is well balanced too. Not to mention a nice crust at the bottom as well. The tinto verano was tasty and so refreshing in this summer heat too! Muchas gracias por la comida!

My wife and I have very high standards for paella, and we were not disappointed. We ordered the seafood paella which was served with langostino, prawns, shrimps, clams, and mussels. They were able to make it with socarrat for us as well, upon our request. The paella was delicious and satisfied our craving for a proper Valencian paella.

The paella is really good. You order for at least two people, however, the price on the menu isn’t divided into two. I cannot say the same for the croquettes, they weren’t good. Also know that you will pay for the bread brought to the table, 1€ for each. The service staff is really good, although she doesn’t understand English, we manage to order the food and she served the paella herself. We got seated outside, it was quite hot but the heat wasn’t the problem: it was the huge cockroach! It wasn’t nice to have it crawling around.

Excellent. All our food was delicious. Including Tuna tataki, Paprika salad and Grilled octopus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be returning, thanks to them! Today I tried the special Easter menu and I loved the anchovy dish 👌 Don't miss this yummy special food!

This is a buzzing but not crowded Bistro. The staff and service was excellent. They were attentive and helpful. The food was good! Along with a white wine, charcuterie and roasted artichoke we also tried one of the specials of the day, pork cheek. Each of them were tasty but the pork cheek was superb. I definitely recommend this place for a nice bite and refreshing drink. If we are in the area again I'll definitely be back.

Had fantastic food and wine at the Paprika. The tacos vegetales were excellent. I had the pork with three sauces. The meat was great and I loved that they only cooked it until it was pink to keep it juicy. Some people prefer to cook it until it's grey, but I really wouldn't recommend it if you want to have great taste. So they did incredibly there. The fries were fantastic as well. Only downside were the 3 sauces which are basically one mayo sauce in three different colors. They have a good selection of wine as well. The prices of the dishes are fair. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this bistro. We're passing through Granada on a roadtrip. After a day of sightseeing, I had a (late) solo lunch here (artichichokes, with Iberico ham, sundried tomato, burrata and rocket). Later on the same day, I took my husband down for dinner to try their food. We had the artichokes again as a starter then shared an Angus beef burger and a plate of barbecue pork ribs. Pity we're leaving town tomorrow otherwise we'd happily go again for delicious food and friendly service. Bonus: the digestif we were offered after the meal was brilliant. 👌 Thanks for having the two South Africans!

Random discovery while walking around Realejo and I'm glad we stopped here. Food was great, quiet open-air tables a few minutes away from all the chaos of Centro. The owner/chef(?) popped out for a chat and brought us a couple of his own veg recommendations. Clearly enjoys what he does. Top class, overall.

We went in a large group and the service was excellent! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Sebastian. The food was delicious- the meat was so tender it fell apart and everything was very fresh. A great place to eat in Granada.

A nice location for good food the staff is inspiring and testing with new Rezepts but also the traditional are available!

Halal restaurant at the top of Albaycin! The manager/waitress is very nice, and the price-quantity ratio is very good. I recommend their Moroccan tea! We liked this place so much, we came here twice during our stay in Granada! Would recommend

On a tour through Albaicin and this was recommended by our tour guide Petra. So glad she recommended it, the food was hot and phenomenal. You have to get the eggplant, potatoes and tagine. So flavorful and the perfect meal - nothing too heavy.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Our family stumbled into the restaurant to be so warmly welcomed and then blown away by the food. The humus and tagene were standouts. We've been eating out across Madrid, Seville, Caditz, and this will be long remembered! 🥰

Great service from Abdul! This is a nice spot for Moroccan cuisine. Went here on our first night in Albazcin. Food was excellent and service was warm and friendly.

We stopped by this Moroccan restaurant for lunch break before our Alhambra guided tour. The food was unexpectedly authentic and the chicken tangine and the cold soup were excellent, and highly recommended. Petra our tour guide recalled this restaurant to us and it did not disappoint!!

We enjoyed the vegetarian tagine in this place. The flavors of the dish were amazing. The atmosphere of the place is also friendly and we can definitely recommend the place.

Sooooo lovely. Gorgeous berenjenas frita and patatas bravas with harissa. Piping hot and crispy but not oily. Friendly service and good portions. Beautifully presented tagine.
