Traditional Andalusian restaurant. Tasty dishes but I ate better tortilla, except this all other was very good and well prepared. The restaurant is crowded and noisy for me it wasn't a problem, you can feel local atmosphere. If you sit beside toilet you can feel detergents that is not favorable. The staff was quick and well coordinated.

Best meal in Spain so far! The oxtail was amazing! So tender and savoury. Service was super quick even though there’s a line. You can go straight to the bar to skip the line. There’s a charge for bread they automatically bring to the table, but the bread was really good with the oxtail. Pricing was also very fair. We didn’t try other dishes so I cannot comment on those. But the place was busy with both tourists and locals so that’s definitely a good sign.

It’s a popular authentic old tapas bar. Expensive and food is average. Take a seat outdoor with 10% service charge. Even though you not order the bread but it will count on you. I visited on Thursday but too crowded inside the bar, only could take a seat outdoor, feel stressed and pushy. There’s lot of good tapas bar and I will not return. P.s. : Comment on other review with free tapa but seems like there’s no luck to me even I order 3 glass of wine.

Had a wonderful evening at Bodegas Castaneda last night, we popped in for a drink and became immersed in the atmosphere and the unexpected benefit of free Tapas. It’s a great traditional bar that serves nice food, so you do have to grab the waiter or bar man’s attention and be patient. Was a lovely evening and great value.

A bit disappointed by this restaurant especially after having tasted other very good restaurants in Granada. Bodegas Castaneda is often recommended as the most authentic and local restaurant in Granada and there is often a short queue to have a table. The food however is average, nothing exceptional except for the Rabo de toro which was simply exceptional and delicious. I suggest to try other restaurants in Granada first before trying this one

Very disappointing experience. We saw this place on a recommended tapas place so we went… but totally ruined the night. The waiter who seemed to be the manager, Jose was so rude and kept making us feel like we were bothering him for ordering drinks… he was sitting down by the stairs smoking and ordering other waiters to do things. We ordered the most expensive Jamon but it was too salty that we couldn’t finish it. Won’t be back.

I recently returned from a vacation in Spain. During my trip to Granada, I had a very unpleasant experience at this establishment. They brought me bread even though I didn't order it. The bread was stale, but they double-charged it on my bill. Imagine my surprise when I ordered a seafood salad and saw finely chopped tuna, peppers, and onions (not exactly fresh), drenched in a huge amount of vegetable oil. I also ordered a Russian salad, which consisted of mashed potatoes with raw potato pieces inside, drizzled with mayonnaise. I found a small piece of wire in the puree. When I showed it to the waiter, he responded, "But it's only one small piece." Honestly, in my 50s, having traveled to many countries around the world, I have never tasted such disgusting food. The waiter laughed at my bewilderment. They serve bad food and behave disgustingly. I will never go there again. I recommend trying other restaurants in Granada first before going here. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED

We enjoyed our experienced eventually here but i feel the experience didn't live up to the hype. The service was pretty slow. Food arrived in stages. The wine I ordered was a 2011 and she broke the cork, didn't get to try it. Which was unfortunate. I think the wine prices are a bit high compared to other restaurants. They have many good labels. Not sure if the location is so amazing where I think it's worth to spend money on a really good expensive wine, but they have lots. Our server was nice but very busy. I expected more from the place.

We ordered the pork loin with sundried tomatoes and artichokes with sundries tomatoes, with some wine. The portions were great for larger groups to share, though a bit much for just two people. The food was decent and nicely presented.

We had a superb selection of sophisticated tapas here at La Tana, the Artichokes, and Broad beans with jamon were brilliant, and the wine selection was top-notch. It's definitely worth a visit for the perfect couples meal!!

La Tana is a well-known wine bar in downtown with a stunning wine list by the bottle and a wide range by the glass either. Cold kitchen only and always crowdy, I recommend booking the second shift to avoid feeling always in a hurry instead of enjoying the nice traditional place ambiance.

I have lived in Spain 3 years, this is the most delicious tapas I have had anywhere, hands down. Great wine menu. Ambiance is very "hometown Granada". 10/10 will return as often as I can!

This was a cute little wine bar with lovely tapas! We would recommend the tomatoes and the guacamole. If you want a table outside, make a reservation. We got there right at opening without a reservation and they were able to squeeze us in, but it filled up quickly. Wines were fabulous!

They had the soccer game ! The Classico ! There was no better place to be . Great food ! Delicious vermouth ! Croquetas are a huge winner for kids . Pimientos de padrón and the entrecot was fantastic

Although the place was packed we managed to get a table right away by opting for dinner versus tapas, which was fine by us. Lovely food and wine for a fair price. Enjoyed the moussaka and my partner ordered the special of the day. The waitress was very attentive and polite- very good service from start to finish. Would come back for tapas at one of the super cute tables in the alley.

probably my favorite stop in my exploration of southern Spain. Ajo blanco is a cozy place just across the street from a beautiful 15th century church. The knowledgeable owner Nicolas serves us complementary tapas along side 2 amazing natural wines for me and the 2 great reds for my Spanish red wine loving parter. We also order the fish pate, and a meat and cheese platter that we both delicious. I will go back to Granada just for his service.

Each glass of wine we had was superb, all were recommendations from the owner, who makes an effort to ensure his guests have an enjoyable experience. Even with the language barrier (because of my woefully poor Spanish), we had a great experience. I hope to come back with better Spanish to express my appreciation!

We loved this wine bar, tucked away near the city centre. The owner is lovely and we communicated via Google translate. We have some lovely tapas and a great bottle of vino to to. It’s so cozy in here!

I like sweets a lot but most of the desserts in Spain and Portugal are too sweet for me. This is the best pasteleria shop we found so far in Spain and Portugal with over ten shops we tried. If you like desserts with a bit of savory taste, pls try their pistachio basque!!!! Its Rich cheese taste pairs perfectly with the salty pistachio paste. Other desserts are good as well and the texture of the cake is soft and moisture.

One of the best cakes I've ever had in Spain. Really recommend the meringue cake. Coffee is also very nice, not too strong and acidic, well balanced. Will be back to try the pianonos. Update: came back the next day to try their pianonos and a flan cake. Best pianonos and flan cake I've ever had, definitely superior quality to Ysla.

We visited here 4 times in 48 hours - it’s that good! The girl in the coffee bar was so attentive that she welcomed us like a regular remembering our orders on the second day! We’ll definitely visit here again! ¡Muchos gracias!

I've had the best churros con chocolate in Andalusia, and maybe all of Spain - here. Yes, you read that right. I also bought one of their artesanal chocolates con naranja and it was amazing!

The desserts are truly delicious, including traditional favorites like Bizcocho de Crema Tostada and Megengue cake, as well as savory empanadas. The coffee is excellent too!

Granada. The piononos were good & we also tried their empanadillas which were also delicious!

The pastries were ok. Enjoyable, but none of the pastries tried quite stood out. This is definitely a very popular local place (especially for iced espresso during summer)

This a great place to try out different tapas. Buying several drinks will also reward you with a plate of a random tapas. I particularly liked seafood fritos and there are a lot to choose from. Restaurant is meant to be for families or large groups having lunch or a quick bite.

We went there mainly for the fried fish and seafood, and the food was lovely. The octopus was a bit too salty, which was a slight downside, but overall we really enjoyed our meal. One waiter in particular explained everything very well and recommended some great dishes, thanks to him, we got to try some of the best items on the menu. A lovely experience overall!

We know this could be considered a very touristy option but it is still one of the most mentioned, recommended places based on my research. And I’m glad we tried it!! In fact, it is one of my family’s top meals from the trip, and they even went as far as suggesting to eating there again. The seafood was fresh, fried dishes are well seasoned, and the breaded dishes were just perfectly coated. You’d think for a place with multiple branches and packed with customers, they’d compromise on the quality and taste, but not here. We honestly enjoyed each and every dish (except for the paella which was a free tapa hehe). The squid was so soft whether the grilled or fried version. The pimientos de padron were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The berenjenas are so good and addicting!! The fried seafood were just so simple but so delicious. We really enjoying eating here. The only room for improvement was the service. We were a group of 7 so I understand it could be harder to get a table even on an off peak hour. But the waiter was quite dismissing telling us it’ll take an hour or so without actually checking if there are tables about to finish. But we decided to wait it out 5-10 mins and even asked if we could just wait in the counter tables outside to start drinking. But before we could even order our drinks, there was already a table available for us. Though I understand it does get pretty busy for them. So my recommendation would be just to be patient and the wait will be worth it! :)

Wow so good. Ended up ordering 3 plates of razor clams. Had 3 rounds of drinks and each time they served us different types of tapas. Highly recommend! So sad I can’t come back tomorrow!

Went for a drink during Spanish lunch hour - no tables available so we just stood at bar. Service was friendly despite them not being proficient in english. The complimentary fried fish (with 2 bonus calamari pieces) tapas was surprisingly generous! What a steal especially after we experienced the price points in Madrid and Seville. Would recommend to give it a try if in the area!

Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy, and fun! Vinyl plate chargers and cork on the walls. Service attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the fried chickpea salad, duck breast, cool pea soup and deer loin lasagna. So flavorful. And, the cheesecake ! Yum.

It is al rather small restaurant with limited amount of tables. More than enough choice in dishes. If you're in Granada you should visit this place.

We just stumbled upon this one after checking into our hotel nearby. The food was absolutely delicious (first time trying sweetbreads) and service was excellent. We also had the asparagus+anchovies and pate which were yum. Must try in Granada.

I went without a reservation, but since I was alone, they were able to find me a spot. I ordered Tataki de atún con mahonesa de wasabi and Grilled lamb sweetbreads, and for dessert, I chose Bizcocho de naranja. Every single bite was incredibly delicious. The owners were truly helpful and kind. They have a wide variety of offal dishes, and I regret not being able to try more. I’ll definitely visit again!

We reserved for lunch for the next day We were served potato omelette for free - I appreciated that, something to whet our appetite while perusing the menu. We decided to have the Jamon and Salcichon for starters. The Jamon was sooo good. Went well with the Rioja wine and Cervesa we were drinking. We had the grilled lamb chops and pork. We thought it would not be enough because they were small but it was just right . We had space for dessert and we ordered Bartolillo- we enjoyed that very much If you are in Granada, try out this restaurant- you will not be disappointed. Good food and good service

Good food given prices. Can recommend cod-omelette, lamb leg and lasagne-black pudding. Steak tasted meaty and was perfectly cooked, unfortunately the steak was not tender enough or high enough quality for the price. Would not order steak here again. Overall good experience,, but not full score.

Fantastic Restaurant with in- and outdoor seating and long opening hours with very friendly and efficient service. The only restaurant in our 10 days stay in Granada, where we were twice. Which tells much, because there are so many great places.

A meat lovers paradise! We enjoyed some excellent pork and lamb. The serving was generous. However, I would have like a larger side of vegetables and fries. Service was polite and prompt. Good value for the amount and quality of food. Easy to recommend.

I can't recommend that place. The gelato was too sweet with no richness or good flavor. I ordered vanilla and pistachio in a cup, and received 75% vanilla and a smudge of pistachio. This is the one of the worst gelato I had in Spain, sadly. Good things are texture, temperature and service speed.

I stopped by here as part of my trip with my grandad to try their gelato, which came highly recommended by the locals and it had very high reviews on Google. They had a wide variety of flavours, but I went for the unique chestnut flavour — it was incredibly creamy, nutty, and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Cannot tell you much about the ice cream (seemed to be good) however the Tarta de los italianos is something out of this world. This place produces money as the European Central Bank does. So crowded by locals! Chapeau!

Really good gelato, we got fruit flavours (Raspberry/Frambuesa and Orange/Naranja) and found them very fresh and flavourful. The flavour selection isn't quite as varied as some other places we have found, but what is there seems to be very good based on what we tried, and we went here off of a local recommendation. They have two interesting displays out the back with ice cream machinery, which are definitely worth a look if you stop by (the text is only in Spanish but we were able to get a rough idea of what they were).

The Cassata is worth the wait in line! A Cassata is basically a layered ice cream, like a Neapolitan, but this one also had chunks of candied fruit. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted! Bravo! All my family was jealous. Their ice cream choices were good, but mine was so special. See photos.

DELICIOUS!!! We LOVED this place, and it was so good we had to come back again! Would 10000% recommend the yogur (yoghurt) flavour, it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. We also loved the caserta and coffee cake specials, incredible options!

Great spot for tapas. Glad we came early, because it filled up fast and the line outside was long. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the croquetas (plus the flamenquín) were my favorites. This restaurant was fantastic! The employee was super nice and moved us to a bigger table once it was free. We asked for jamon assado, flamequin, croquetes of touro and jamon ibérico. Our favorite was croquetes de touro. They also gave us a free first dish with fries and Bolognese and when we asked for another beer a free tuna patê! Overall great tasting experience.

We tried the ham that everyone orders and the oxtail croquettes — both were delicious! The portions were quite generous, so it was a bit much for two people to share. If you’re ordering drinks, I’d recommend waiting to see what tapas come with them first — we ended up getting another meat dish with our drinks, so in hindsight we would’ve chosen something lighter like the tomatoes or seafood to balance things out.

Went here on a Saturday. It was pretty crowded. At 2pm we already had to wait outside but continue reading cause it was worth it. They write down your name and call you when there is a spot. Luckily enough we only had to wait 20min. You can go inside and order a drink while waiting and you get a little appetizer. That was so good (black rice) that I ordered it again after. With every drink you get a tapa but obviously we also ordered tons. Specially recommend the jamon, the tomatoes and the fried octopus. I also really liked a wine from Granada. Also my messy husband spilled on his shirt and the waiter was so kind to give a proper spray for his shirt. Worked like a miracle. Thank you!

This is my favorite spot in Granada. The food is great and the staff makes you feel at home. Definitely the best jamón asado in Granada, just make sure to get there a bit early or before they open if you want to get a table because it is always packed due to its great tapas and raciones.

Their smoked salmon and tomato toasts are absolutely delicious! We ended up coming back for breakfast here every day during our holiday in Granada. They use incredibly fresh ingredients, and it’s hands down the best breakfast spot in town. The wait can be a bit of a downside, but it’s totally worth it.

We want there during our stay in Granada and the coffee is very. Their breakfast menu is also good. The people who run it are very nice. The out door seating gives you a perfect view of the Alhambra fort and the street is very charming. You must go here if you are traveling in Granada.

Prices are very reasonable, and you definitely get more than what you pay for. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Cute little tavern wine house. Amazing service and ambiance as it felt really cozy and welcoming. The decor on the wall showcased their history & knowledge. Our server was super nice and patient helping us find a wine that we liked and offered alternatives as well. Tapas were delicious too (they are free as you order a round of drinks). The service isn't the nicest but it's efficient and she recommended a good local red. The selection of wine by the glass is exceptional. Free tapas with each drink. Also ordered the small tabla de ibericos con queso and came with three selections of charcuterie and manchego cheese. All very good and would happily spend all night here. Tapas at all times, food menu started at 8pm.

The wine list is broken down into red, white, sparkling, fortified, and sweet. Try a bit of each and you have a top notch wine tasting of all of Spain. The staff will bring the tapa to you as you order glasses. They are great also. This is a must visit in Granada.

Although located in a very touristic part of the city, this is a place that gives you an experience as if you belong here like a local. The tapas, the drinks and the experience was like no other and I love this hidden space in Granada. They opened up at 7.30 and by 8.15 the place was full! Will definitely come here again.

Amazing venue with top notch charcuterie boards. The place was pumping and it seemed like there were a few locals coming in and saying g’day to the other regulars thought the night. The wines were great (including some local reds) and the charcuterie board was not only plentiful but also delicious. Hope you like your pate!

It was the most tender octopus I’ve ever eaten!!!!!! And the waiter (I should’ve asked his name) was so nice to us. We also had the black rice with squid (also super yummy) and the tomato salad (love tomato season). The palace view was superb as well 🥹 It was so chilled. The food is good but average, the paella is really under cooked. The fish is average, not the best taste and freshness, but can be 4.4/5.0. No service for serving wine nor changing plates. Good view, and nice private atmosphere.

We had such a great time in this peaceful courtyard, surrounded by beautiful plants and the relaxing sound of fountains—it was a treat for both the taste buds and the soul. The food was amazing! We had the wild boar and grilled octopus, and both were super tasty and well presented. You can really feel the love for cooking that Jesús Pernía got from his mom and grandma. The service was also excellent—friendly, warm, and attentive from start to finish. Coming back to try other dishes tonight. There are three different areas to enjoy your meal: the cozy indoor space, the lush garden courtyard, and the terraza with a beautiful view. Tucked into the winding streets of the Albacin, far from the bustle of the city center, El Trillo was a lovely find for a calm dinner at sunset. We were seated on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Alhambra. The menu included innovative riffs on classic Andalusian dishes. The Iberian pig cheek was meltingly tender yet rich in taste and the Octopus and boletus risotto beautifully balanced the briny sweetness of the octopus with the earthy tones of the boletus (better known as porcini mushrooms in Italian and English) Service was unhurried but attentive creating a lovely setting for quiet conversation.. Their wine list was thoughtfully curated with a focus on smaller Spanish producers offered more than a few delightful choices. Plan to stay a while to sip a glass of wine, savor the flavors, and bask in the last golden rays of the day!

From El Trillo Restaurante, you get the prime view of Alhambra. Though a restaurant can't trive on views, we found the archetcture of the restaurant was very unique. Upon entering the restaurant, a scented Buddha stature greets you. You can have the garden seating or balcony seatings that can view Alhambra. We chose the latter with the following dishes: Arroz Pulpo, Arroz Negro, and Bacalao a La Plancha. The pan seared cod coupled with fried pumpkins and beans was tender and fresh. To add the flavor, three thinly sliced pork belly (fat) were placed on top of the cod. The octopus risotto and octopus in black rice were something worthy of trying. Personally I like the black rice octopus. The octopus risotto was too rich in butter and cream. The sangria was a little bit too dry and not fruity enough. One final tip is to spread some mosquitoes repellent before you go there. Because while you dine, the buggers will also have their meals.

I had the best hummus and the best veal couscous of my life at this restaurant. The service was excellent and very attentive, with a refined touch. The atmosphere was calm, not crowded, and the staff were extremely kind. Everything was spotless and well-organized, and I really loved the elegant style of the restaurant.

Not worth a 4.8 rating. Food is good in general but nothing wows. We had the lamb tajin, sauteed carrot and a hummus plate. The lamb is good but you don’t get much meat from it. The coconut cookies they gave us at the end was very delicious though.

We ordered the traditional dishes (chicken pastella with almonds and cinamon and tanjia marrakci). Both were great and different from turkish/lebanese food. A nice surprise. We ordered also the 5piece desert with the excelent almond and rasberry cake. On the funny side, the card payment was not possible (broken pos), but we were announced from the entry. I can tell understand not wanting to pay commissions to the bank, though. Considering how good the food is, I doubt anyone would complain about this.

Food is absolutely fantastic. Can’t speak of its authenticity but probably the most delicious Moroccan cuisine I’ve had in a while. Service could be improved. Mainly, they need some English speaking staff. They put a piece of paper with machine translated broken English on it at the entrance. I didn’t realize it actually means “no credit card” until the end of our meal. I spent all night trying to communicate with our server using hand gestures. They are not that polite either.

With uncertain expectations and a few misses with our recent dining experiences, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and full of flavour, service was fantastic and quick. We ordered the chicken tajine with vegetables and the mince meat tajine. The only knock would be that we would have liked a bigger serving size for the price of the dishes. I would certainly come back!

Not a good experience, they didn’t have a card so had to go around to find an ATM. The food was ok but very expensive and the portions are very small, please see the scale of the spoon next to the dish. The rice was basically 1 tiny spoon for 5€ Dishes are around 20€ and not coming with rice or bread. Not worth the trip.

Ordered the fried eggplant, octopus and pork ribs to share for dinner. Fried eggplant, batter was just nice and the sugarcane sauce compliments it so well. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly, pretty fleshy and not rubbery at all. Hints of saltiness and goes so well with the potato millefueille. Pork ribs was pretty huge and well coated with sauce, great for sharing and oh so tender. Try your luck at walk-in, reservations recommended for peak hour ✨

Great! The Presa Iberica is sooo good, I thought it was beef at first😂The only pity is that we arrived at night so there is no pork ribs left, but Margarita is super friendly, and the cod she recommended as alternative is also really delicious! The dish in the second picture is a great conbination, but I forget what it's called. (We show the pictures to Rita and her colleagues to order) Will definitely visit once we're in Granada again!

Great environment, fantastic food and excellent service. Nice lighting, great music and space between tables so you don't feel too close to others. David did a really great job introducing me to local flavors and delicacies. Very knowledgeable and very well mannered. I was not rushed at all and had a very relaxing time. I usually do not queue for anything, but I did for this place and I have zero regrets.

This was our best food experience in Granada. Burger may seem simple, but do not be fooled by the image - it is gorgeous! Ribs are not super fat, the sauce blew my mind completely. They also served a big plate of tasty meat tapa and limoncello. My highest recommendation, and reservation is a must!

Friendly service and generous portions, especially the Iberian pork ribs. They were a bit on the greasy side, as we’re used to leaner meat in the Netherlands. The fried eggplant with honey is a specialty here and definitely a must-try!

This was my husband and I’s favorite meal in our Granada trip! Absolutely delicious. We had the mushroom risotto with truffle and cured beef for starters and it was the best I’ve ever had. The waiter also shaved the truffle in front of us. For our main option, we had the tuna tar tar and steak with foie with both options leaving us shaking our heads in approval. The meat was so tender! Our waiter recommended the blue cheese crème brûlée and it was definitely something I’ve never had before. If you love blue cheese then this is for you, but if not, would suggest another dessert. Of course, the whole atmosphere was sealed with the stunning view of the Alhambra.

Had dinner here during sunset and what an unforgettable experience. We watched the Alhambra bathe in golden light while tasting one of the best food we had in Granada. Highly recommend the remojon, octopus carpaccio and dim sum.

We typically stick to traditional tapas while in Spain but our tour company arranged a pre fixed menu here. It was excellent! The food was interesting and innovative! The standouts were the corvina tiraditos and the duck appetizer. The beef cheek cannoli was so enjoyable and felt like comfort food!

This is not a 5 star restaurant. It's a 6 star restaurant! A wonderful experience from start to finish. Sit on the terrace, take in the view and watch the sun set on the Alhambra. The service and the food here are worth every penny. From the complimentary vegetable juice shots to start your meal, through some of the best meat dishes we've eaten in a long time, to desserts that defy description, everything was spectacular. We can highly recommend the Galician tenderloin, the beef cheek cannelloni and the lamb. How they make a creme brulee with blue cheese taste like that, I have no idea, but it was incredible. As were all the other desserts. A special mention to the crew that was serving food on the terrace, they were brilliant at their job. If you want to treat yourself to a top notch meal, with a matching view, look no further than Carmen El Agua.

This restaurant is really a gem in Granada! It has a full view of Alhambra, the menu is particular and the food is delicious. And very important the service is very good, attentive, smiley staff, taking care of their guests very well. And it is not expensive at all (compared to European prices).

This is a delightful restaurant in Granada with amazing views of the Alhambra. There really isn’t a bad spot to see the amazing vistas, but you can request tables on the terrace or near the window indoors. The service is impeccable and very friendly. I live in Spain and speak Spanish, but everyone spoke English as well. The food preparations were so unique. Every dish was amazing. The rabbit dim sum was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The burrata was also a fabulous starter. My main dish of risotto was excellent, and the other dishes at the table were loved by all. The solomillo was exceptional as was the lamb. Roberto, our server, was so kind and he was very attentive. It is more expensive than many restaurants in Granada, but absolutely worth it. They also have a very nice wine list with some fabulous Spanish wines.

Overall, I am not pleased with my experience at this restaurant. My husband I reserved a balcony table which was the only thing worth the money. I believe the food is overpriced for the mediocre service and customary cuisine. The server was absolutely ill-mannered and did not represent the restaurant in a manner I believe the owner would approve of. My husband and I arrived a little late but regardless should have been treated with the same esteem as any one choosing to spend their hard earn money at an establishment. The server had no suggestions of house specials pertaining to dishes or drinks and personally made the entire experience for us dreadful. We were rushed the to order and eat even though the full took forever to come out and the server took forever to bring the check. We asked for the wine list three times and was not served wine until right before our last course. From arriving to the restaurant that is tucked in a village of hills to recieving our check that included items that we did not even order was a wasted night. We will never return to this place.

I had the chicken and it was phenomenal. Wish I had a spoon and more couscous to eat everything on the plate. Amazing! Service was just a tiny bit slow but I also was in a hurry and appreciate more sense of urgency. All good tho. I will return

Was just passing by and popped my head in. What an oasis a beautiful outdoor restaurant on three levels full of plants and ornate tiling. The views were amazing of the Alhambra. The food was so fresh and had a lovely twist to quite simple ingredients. I had the bread olives and blue cheese mouse with seasonal giant tomatoes covered in olive oil black salt garlic and parsley. Just perfect for a very hot and humid september day after walking around albaicin neighbourhood. I am a solo traveller and this was perfect to get away from the busy downtown area. Highly recommend this gorgeous place

Extremely friendly staff, big smile and you instantly feel comfortable. We had the croquetas as starters which were delightful (both spinach and mushroom based). We had next the lasagna which I'd not recommend. It was good, but simply not good enough for us to reorder the same dish another time. Overall a great place, I'm sure other options on the menu would live up to 5 stars, so won't rate it below :).

Lovely service and people, we didn't have a reservation but thankfully they weren't busy the time we visited. We got the house and sweet burgers, fries were amazing and portions were just right. Would recommend to vegans and vegetarians! Many options we didn't have time to try ♥️

Great to find a restaurant where we could choose anything off the menu! Been struggling a bit as vegetarians in Andalucia but this place really hit the mark. Very friendly, great choices and great taste - all at good value. We had the ratatouille and the couscous with chickpeas. The wine was only €3 per glass. What's not to like?

It's not easy to be a vegetarian or vegan in Granada. Almost everywhere you go, the food had cured meats! But this restaurant is a star. I was so happy to eat at this place. It felt like I was at home again. The service was excellent, even though they seemed a bit understaffed on the busy night we were there. It's cliche (but true) that often vegan food all over the world rely on similar ingredients, like tofu and seitan, nuts etc. But Hicuri really adds some unique flavors and creative cooking styles. I really enjoyed the padron peppers. It was so refreshing to see so much fresh vegetables again, which didn't seem so common to me in Granada but maybe that's my limited tourist perspective.

Every component of our meal was incredible. I think the mushroom croquetas were our favorite because they tasted like stuffing/dressing. Would LOVE to come back someday!

Breakfast was good and that's why we also came for lunch. We wanted something small and there were many different options on the menu. The gaspazo was great but the patatas bravas were not as good as I expected. I understand that every city has its own way of making them. Service 5/5 and a nice place to sit and enjoy. The tapas paella that came with the wine was tasty

We tried the papas bravas, Margherita pizza, and the churros. Also the mojito and an aperol spritz. The mojito was the best item we tried… The papas bravas weren’t terrible but weren’t great either. The pizza was not good at all. Definitely worse than a freezer pizza. The crust was stale and the sauce had little flavor. The churros had a fine texture and were fresh the dough had no flavor and the chocolate was severely watered down.

The service was excellent, and the dessert—especially the chocolate dish—was absolutely delightful. The mixed salad was fresh and crisp, though the pork was slightly overcooked and the rice a bit too salty for my taste.

The churros itself is worth a stop here. Certainly fresh when served burning hot!Coffee was decent, but can give scrambled eggs a miss.

Not sure why people said their churros is the best. Just normal. I would prefer Costco churros or those with sprinkled sugar! Chocolate was not sweet at all so did not add to the taste. Wouldn’t recommend.

Had to leave today and looked for a place to have breakfast. Place looked decent, clean. Staff did not seemed to be overwhelmed with customers. Variety was good on the menu. Again had different things to eat. Service was surprisingly fast and dishes looked good and did not disappoint. I had a sausage with cheese, was a bit baffled when I saw a chorizo smear. It was ok but not what I expected, flavor was also not as intense what I hoped for but as in Spain you go with what they eat. I would not order that dish again. The rest of our dishes were fine.

I went there with my colleagues from a medical congress it was a wonderful experience, the views where lovely and so was the food. We tried lots of things and for me the highlight was the main dish, the cod fish in a beetroot risotto ( simply amazing) another highlight was the excellent service the waiter was super helpful and nice. I recommend to order the tiramisu dessert as they prepare it in front of you it's a fun experience and it tastes great.

Carmen de Aben Humeya offers incredible views of the Alhambra, elegant service, and creative Andalusian dishes. The grilled sea bass and cheesecake were both excellent — beautifully plated and full of flavor. The terrace at sunset is magical, quiet, and romantic. It’s pricier than the average tapas bar, but totally worth it for the view and experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Granada!

Very romantic atmosphere, perfect for couples. Amazing view of the Alhambra palace. Colours of the Alhambra at sunset were the highlight of the evening. Book well in advance. The lamb tangine was very tender and full of flavour.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. We liked the decor very much and the service was very nice. Most of the dishes we ordered tasted very good, especially the tataki and pork croquettes. Unfortunately, the tuna tacos was the least to our taste but it was edible. The dishes looked delicious. We will come back here again.

Did some research on where to go. Reviews were rated this high, so I am rating it a one to help balance taste buds over fame. This was one of the recs I found before visiting Granada. Wine was great (cause they didn’t make it) and service was top notch. We just felt like it was a little gimmicky for the price. As soon as I saw the emojis in the menu, I wanted to leave. They gave a free small plate to start. Wasn’t a good start. Food was very expensive for what it was. Dishes were too salty and honestly the chicken pops were huge! We were expecting more of a tapas size dish and would rather spend less one a single dish and more on many. After all, we are in tapas country. The table next of us didn’t finish their food either I we heard her tell the waitress her meat was overcooked and she wouldn’t finish it.

I really enjoyed my meal at Biloba. We ordered the tuna tartare (Taco from Cadiz) and it was fresh and tasty. The chicken pops starter was also really nice and something I would definitely recommend. For mains, we tried the “fake risotto” with squid and the Bombay style lasagne. I really liked the risotto as it was full of flavour and quite unique. The lasagne was not really to my taste, but it was not bad either. For dessert, we had the caramelised brioche French toast, which was lovely and probably my favourite part of the meal. I would highly recommend it. Overall, the food was good, the menu had some interesting dishes and halal options, and I would be happy to go back Anna and Dani was really lovely and helpful.

Lovely place the decor is simple but elegant . We started with the cerviche which was beautiful, tangy and fresh as it should be , it brought me right back to the taste of Columbia . The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and it was great portion size , my husband had the best streak of his life. The passion fruit dessert was the perfect ending not to heavy with a beautiful crumb. The staff are all very nice and even the chef comes to ask was everything ok. Cannot fault this place it was fantastic deserves 5 stars, we will definitely come back here

At Apo the experience and food is unlike any other I have experienced before. Everything we ate was truly delicious. When I first bit into the steak my mouth was watering! Compliments to the chef, who is the owner of the intimate establishment. He truly took care of our table and we left very satisfied. I can’t wait to go back to Granada and revisit! This is something I will be dreaming about til I get to try it out again.

What can I say it's some of the best meat I've ever eaten! Absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Well worth a visit. I would only recommend calling and seeing what meat they have available on the day in case you're looking for something specific. Anyway excellent service with English speaking staff.

Absolutely must visit! We came 15 min before opening and there were already a queue. But after opening everyone got a table, the place is actually quite spacious. Food was amazing a d portions were huge. For each ordered drink - one free tapas (can’t choose). Some people were just ordering drinks, without ordering any food, course there were getting free food anyways

We absolutely loved this restaurant! It was packed full of people laughing and chatting while most other places were quiet or closed on a Sunday evening. Wasn’t long till we found out why. Food - 11/10. The complimentary tapas they brought us were absolutely delicious and two rather big plates. We also ordered gazpacho, grilled squid and croquettes. Everything tasted heavenly, generous portions too! The wine was also great but we found it usually was in Granada. Service - 10/10. Staff was attentive and prompt, also spoke great English. Location - city centre, easy to get to. Highly recommend and would gladly go back.

My absolute favorite food experience in our week-long trip in Spain thus far. We went five minutes before 8pm and stood in line for the opening, which was quite long and a bit intimidating, but actually we were able to get in once it opened! Fast-paced and a bit hectic, but the food is delightful. I loved everything we had here.

The food is really good, the portions are huge, and a free tapa comes with any drink, even coke cola. We were so full afterwards. The food is cheap, very affordable. We ordered two dishes, the pig trotters and fried squid. Would recommend the fried squid, it is very fresh and tasty. The pig trotters are a bit too much and we got tired of eating all the grease. It was well cooked but still bit too much. The place is noisy but service was good.

An absolute gem of a place that really impressed us. The tapas are delicious and original, nothing like what we've had at other places. Before bringing our first one, the waiter asked if we had any intolerances or allergies and I said "blue cheese". They must have written this down because they were sure to mention the tapas that followed didn't have blue cheese. This really impressed me as I have never been asked about allergies before, let alone have waiters remember them. We also ordered pan salmon de la casa and the bread was so fresh and crunchy. The waiting staff is really friendly and attentive despite being super busy. We'll definitely return when we're back in Granada. The only pity is that I can only leave 5 stars as La Pajuana deserves at least 20!

Without a doubt, this is one of my favourite places in Granada. The food is great, the drinks are well made and everything is more than affordable! More importantly, the service was brilliant. My Dad and I went twice, the first time I ended up talking to the barman/kitchen man (unfortunately, I can't quite remember his name, probably thanks to the Sangria. Although the name Mark comes to mind). We spoke for about 30 minutes towards the end of the night, and he was extremely friendly. We spoke in Spanish. However, anything that I couldn't translate for my Dad, he was more than happy to try. The second visit, we ended up talking to the waiter, Jorge, who has got to be one of the nicest people in Granada! We spoke and were talking for about an hour and a half, getting to know each other very well! Again, anything that I couldn't translate into English, he was more than happy to try. To be clear, whilst he was talking to us essentially the whole time we were at La Pajuana, he was still providing excellent service to the other guests! My only regret is not taking enough pictures of the food/drink and not having a photo with the staff! I truly cannot recommend this place enough, the menu is just as amazing as the people! I hope that Jorge and Mark(?) are well, and I hope to see them again soon! Gracias La Pajuana, luego!

Great place in cafe/bar/restaurant area. The free tapas convinced us to order more - the food was excellent. Our waiter was a joy and made the whole experience lovely. We had the rosca De pollo roads - it was massive and very tasty. Highly recommended.

It's the most wonderful tapas restaurant in granada. Better than Barcelona! The manager "Jorge" was really gentle, accurate, quick, professional. 2 people, enjoyed 4 beverages, 8 tapas. We definitely loved our dinner. One more reason to come granada again. Don't hesitate to visit this restaurant.

This food was the best food we’d had since leaving Australia three weeks ago!! Absolutely incredible and the guy who runs it is amazing. Very on top of everything, attentive and kind. We went back twice!

Server was absolutely incredible. Even if the food sucked I’d give them 5 stars. Witnessing the server handle 15 tables alone was like watching a master creating his finest piece of art. It was beautiful. The food was great and that’s the reward. Truly great experience

The best gluten free restaurant we’ve tried. We had the croquetas mixtas and they were delicious. My favorite was the pear and Gorgonzola. The solomillo was good too! We shared 1/2 a dessert platter and it was amazing. It was almost like a lemon merengue cannoli but not as heavy. The chocolate mousse was fantastic. The vanilla pudding was also superb. They came with a little whipped cream to have alongside. Good selection of wines as well.

There's not much to say that hasn't been said. Good food, nice place, gluten-free. Celiacs will be treated as much as anyone else. Estefania and her team were super nice and kind. Thanks again for a great time and delicious dishes

Aparicio’s was the highlight of Granada for me. It's 100% gluten free so no worries about cross contamination for coeliacs like myself. They serve authentic Andalusian food and it was all divine! The croquettes, pastel.. And the Spanish French toast, omg it was all AMAZING! It wasn’t overpriced and you could tell a lot of thought and care goes into everything they do here. The service was top tier!!

One of my favorite restaurants during our trip in Spain. The service was excellent and accommodating during a super busy Sunday, and as a Celiac this place was a dream to be able to eat all the cuisine I wanted to try during our trip.

Wow! Such a fantastic meal. My friend is coeliac so we booked a table here for Friday night. The whole experience was amazing - from the freshly baked bread at the start of our meal to the degustación platter of desserts (why not try them all, if you’re usually used to having such a limited range available). Everything gluten-free and they had a good selection of vegetarian dishes for us to select from. My personal recommendation would be the goat’s cheese and mango millefueille.

Every time we come to Granada, we come back to Wild Food Granada. This place is great! Very healthy food and friendly service. Amin was fantastic every time he served us. The Buddha Bowl is the closest thing to a Blueprint (Bryan Johnson) dish as I have been able to experience at a restaurant. I will definitely be back to Wild Food when we return to Granada — an amazing and mystical destination!

The guy was super sweet and nice, he spoke Italian and helped me choose. He told me it was going to be too much but I didn't listen because I had just been walking around la Alhambra for 15 days(5hours) and I was famished. He was, obviously, right. He was really attentive and careful with allergies and I spent the last 10 days thinking I didn't even give him a tip. The paella was extremely good, the picture was clearly after I had already dug in, shame there were no dessert options for my allergies.

Service was quick. Restaurant is clean. I loved the atmosphere, it’s peaceful and slow paced. The noise level is Close to moderate. The location is easy to reach. But non of this matters next to the tasty mouth watering vegan chicken burger who my non vegan husband raved about. It is served with a side of potatoes that tasted so real and not like the plastic fries served normally in vegan restaurants. We have also ordered the paella. It was good but I would not come specifically for the paella in wild food. I tasted a lot of paprika powder for some reason. The cheesecake was creamy, and not too sweet (a compliment).

Oh, what a great restaurant! Impeccable service, delicious food and drinks, and great atmosphere. My only sorrow is that we were in Granada only for the day, and therefore could only enjoy one meal at Wild Food. We did our best though! We had the KFC starter, a white pizza, and a rice dish with veggies - all VERY yummy! Even though we were full to the brim, we had to try one (sadly only one) dessert, and we chose the huevo dracharys. Wow! What an experience for the eyes as well as the taste buds. So good, so chocolaty decadent! I will be coming back to Wild Food whenever I have the chance. ❤️ Bravo!

Lunch and dinner were fantastic, we came here two days in a row and enjoyed everything we got - sushi, paella, tofu burger, croquettes, juices. Breakfast was okay. Tofu scramble was too heavy on turmeric and pancakes had too much Nutella.

Amazing vegan place in Granada! You have to try it! You don’t need to be vegan to eat there! Trust me! You will love the food! We had pizza and paella! Muy deliciosos !! We were so full so we could not try the desserts which looked delicious too! We eat there twice!

Oh this was a nice surprise! If we hadn’t read the reviews for this place we would have walked right passed it. Doesn’t look much from the outside but inside is an amazing atmosphere and delicious food! The server was kind and helpful. We ordered few things for a family of four and all dishes were great! I highly recommend this place (and I’m picky when it comes to food and a good service level :) )

Very yummy tapas. Lots of vegetarian options. We ordered the special that was 1 litre of beer and 8 tapas. You get the choice of 4 tapas with 2 portions of each from the menu. Food was tasty and large portions. We got there at 8 and it was pretty quiet, but it picked up swiftly and there was a line to get a table.

Very cosy place, Moroccan tapas bar. Can get busy so don’t come too late. Very nice service. Food is great and prices are really great.

We arrived just as it opened at 1 pm and we were the first in. It was quiet for a short time but then became very busy quickly with some people outside and waiting. The food was very quick to be served and there is a good selection of tapas and some offers including beer and tapas or a bottle of wine and tapas.

Delicious food. I tried several tapas all of which were very tasty. Om Kalsum was recommended by our Spanish teacher and we can see why. I couldn't see a phone number but noticed there were a couple of tables - for more than 2 people - reserved. It's really small so fills up quickly.

Delicious food and super friendly staff! They gave me tapas with each glass of wine, which were all delicious. And then my entrée, the burrata salad, was divine!

My group and I stopped in around 8:30 without a reservation which was a little early by Spain dining standards. We still enjoyed talking to the staff, they were very open and kind. The restaurant was mostly empty except for one or two tables outside, by 9:45 the restaurant started to fill up. The restaurant had a good wine selection at reasonable prices, mostly in the 4€ range. When my wife bad trouble deciding the bar staff was kind enough to explain his recommendation. With drinks we were given a tapas of egg salad and bread on the house. The asparagus was refreshing, the jamon qual egg toast was classic and the blood sausage wasn't too minerally. I wish I was a local so that I could keep coming back and chatting with the staff.

Great tapas place, a little pricier than other places, but just as good. The owner was quite knowledgeable about the different olive oils we asked for our bread. The cured ham was amazing, paired so well with our drinks. Definitely recommend.

We've visited here a few times at weekends when it's been busy / great atmosphere. We popped on on a Weds night and it was great with seats at the bar. Great selection of quality wine by the glass and opportunity to try new wine.

This restaurant is fantastic! I had a delicious meal and the owner Miguel made me feel so welcome and accommodated! The food was spectacular, really fresh high quality ingredients put together beautifully. I especially liked the salad and croquettes I had. You should have dinner here!

We came to this beautiful small restaurant for our wedding anniversary meal during our 4 day stay in Granada. It's difficult to put into words. But it was flawless. I booked online over a month ago. I received a text message informing us of a fairy tale 11 course menu. It was incredible. Highlights.. an edible rose, petals plucked with a pair of tweezers. Mushroom donut. Ravioli but the pasta was squid. The lamb dish was sublime. Mercedes was an incredible host and served us with great explanation of the wine. She claimed her English was terrible but no. She was perfect. Please come here it's an intimate beautiful restaurant. 😍 I'm even more in love with Granada after visiting this stunning restaurant x

We were visiting Granada for a few nights and after reading reviews we booked Versos Suelos well in advance. We had the 11 course tasting menu. It was based around the theme of fairytale and it was a delightful and creative experience. Each course took inspiration from a fairytale and each dish was elegantly presented and very tasty. My highlights were the squid and lamb dishes - absolutely mouth watering. It is a tiny restaurant run by a husband and wife team (Mercedes and Viktor) and they look after you very well. Booking in advance is recommended (check their website for opening times as Google is incorrect). Best of all, for food of this quality and creativity, it was not that expensive - we paid €125 for the two of us including wine and water. Highly recommended.

Wow - what a wonderful night. If you want to go out in Granada for a special meal this is definitely the place to go to…..you are made to feel special, and they really care about you as a customer and about the food they prepare. It is small and intimate, and that is the difference from anywhere else. Cannot recommend this amazing place enough….go if you get the chance - everything is perfecto!!!

By far the best food we had in Spain - even had a little happy food dance because my body was so happy. Mercedes and her husband are amazing cooks and you can taste that every ingredient has been chosen with brain and heart and the winw pairing for each dish is such a compliment to the food. We visited this restaurant specifically because we were looking for vegan options and wanted to make sure we could enjoy a plant-based meal. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. As soon as we entered, the music was extremely loud and more fitting for a nightclub than a restaurant, which made it difficult to relax or have a conversation. We ordered the golden nachos and vegan tacos, but both dishes were lacking in taste and freshness. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh, and the plates felt poorly thought-out. The overall flavor was underwhelming, and we left feeling quite dissatisfied. To top it off, we found the prices to be quite high for the quality of food and experience offered. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend!

We visit Granada often and have eaten at many vegan places, but El Ojú was a huge disappointment and we won't be coming back. The interior is not cozy, but we expected the food to be good, so we stayed. We ordered meatballs and a Sauron pizza. The meatballs were flavorless, mixed with fries and topped with a cheap tomate frito sauce. How the food looks is very important, how at this price the look and taste is too bad. We received the pizza with significantly burnt edges, it looks unaesthetic. There was so much cheese on the pizza that it made for an unpleasant texture as vegan cheese becomes runny instead of stretchy. It was disgusting so we left half the pizza. We felt like we waste of time and money at this place. I always try to support vegan places as there is a dearth of them, but I have to say the truth is that this place is very poor and the quality does not match the price.

I had gambas (which was delicious)! I also enjoyed the “Elvira” pizza which had different types of vegan cheese. Lovely atmosphere (i arrived at 11pm and left well past 12 after a few drinks with friends) We also had a great chat with Rhian, who cooks, serves, cleans and maintains the restaurante, what a super woman! Highly recommend this vegan place!

We arrived at 1:30 when doors should have been opened and they weren’t. The lady was still cleaning and lacked urgency. We ordered and the food took TWO hours to make. In fact, one of the workers left the store to go buy ingredients! Not to mention the employees were seen kissing in the kitchen and without hair nets. There’s a complete lack of organization in this place and it’s sad because the food has potential.

We had this place picked out to try some vegan versions of some local tapas as we struggled to find anywhere in Granada that offered this. Just before we arrived, we saw they had stopped their tapas menu which is a real shame. We would have been happy to pay to sample it but we wanted to support a local vegan place regardless. The menu reads well and it was quite hard to choose from all the delicious sounding food. When the waitress took our order she stopped us and said that will be enough food which is always a sign of great service! She was right. But what we didn't realise was all the dishes we ordered came with fries so it would have been nice to be told to maybe order different items not including fries but either way the waitress was super helpful and her English was amazing. I'd recommend ordering the half portion of vegan calamari with a drink.

I went there expecting a vegan tapas bar but it wasn't. The staff was very friendly and the Tinto de Verona was good.

Mixed review. We really enjoyed the pizza carbonara (although the crust is just regular white bread, NOT pizza dough, which was different). And the prices are very fair. But the tapas were just so-so, definitely nothing special (with the exception of being vegan). We had the albondigas, which are tasty but oddly come in a sauce of roasted carrots. The taco tex, which is almost offensive that it implies Tex-mex because it’s nothing resembling Mexican food. It’s a small flour tortilla stuffed with texturized soy in a tomato sauce (tomato frito, I presume). The bocadillo de la huerta which is just sautéed vegetables on bread. And the quesadilla which is only stuffed with vegan cheese, no vegetables. Also, the pizza was served an hour and 20 minutes after we ordered it. There seemed to be only one employee running the whole restaurant on a Saturday lunch shift. Poor girl. Overall, if you’re vegan, this place is probably a diamond in the ruff considering we’re in Spain and vegan options are few and far between, which is precisely why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 3. But as a vegetarian, I think there are better options in Granada.

Amazing Cafe with Great Vibes! This cafe has such a welcoming and cozy vibe! The staff is incredibly friendly. We tried the avocado sandwich, recommended by the manager, and it was absolutely amazing. They also have plenty of other vegetarian options. The coffee and matcha were both top-notch. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit!

The vegan croissants here are genuinely very good and have lots of air pockets. I also ordered a toastada where you add your own ingredients. The shop was busy but had more seats further inside. A good place to grab a bite before visiting the Alhambra!

Brilliant place to stop & have breakfast, the food was delicious & hot drinks were fab. Highly recommend this place, once we found it came back the next day. The staff were really friendly & had a very cosy atmosphere to enjoy your food & beverages x

I Need Café is a beautiful spot tucked away in the Realejo neighborhood – with a lovely seating area that's perfect for a peaceful morning. I really enjoyed my flat white, which was smooth and well-crafted, paired with a ham and cheese bocadillo that hit the spot. Both were very nice and made for a satisfying light breakfast. The service is kind and welcoming, though I do wish they offered table service. Having to order at the counter takes a bit away from the otherwise relaxing vibe of the place. Unfortunately, the banana bread was a letdown – by far the driest and most tasteless I've had in Granada. Definitely not up to the standard of their coffee or sandwiches. Still, I Need is a solid choice for a morning coffee and snack. Just skip the banana bread and grab a seat to enjoy the ambiance.

Amazing atmosphere and a nice service with a "Starbucks" style name calling at the bar. While the Chai latte was superb, the bocadillos were a little bit bland for the price of more than 4 EUR. I would appreciate at least a bit of olive oil inside, but apart from the ingredients you specifically order it's just plain bread, good one at that, but not the best.

Of all the places I went to in Granada, their home made Vermouth was my favourite. You also get free tapas with every order (they get better each round). Highly recommended.

The home made vermouth ("vermu") is excellent. This place typically has three levels of tapas. With each round of drinks you increase the level of tapas which is chosen by the man making it. So, you don't know what you will receive.

Excellent homemade vermouth made by the friendly manager/bartender's tio. The tapas that came with drinks were tasty. We enjoyed talking to the bartender and enjoyed the bonus drinks we got! Cozy little bar.

My experience wasn't as great as other reviews. It was quite expensive, and food looked soggy and very oily. Croquettes were mainly filled with vegan cheese and not much veggies. Torilla fell apart once microwaved due to too much oil or over boiled potaotes. Yellow dhal was good. However, the other dhal with tomato didn't have much flavor, sauce, maybe from a can as it tasted bland, and yeah... Fresh, not so much, food is mostly microwaved. I'm left feeling that because I'm vegan, I was paying for more because I'm vegan. Microwaved food for this price. It's not worth it, in my opinion.

Vegan food in Granada, a wide variety of delicious food. We had sangria (served with a straw-spoon, a touch of class) and couple of beers, and as food we ordered soup of the day (made with leek), paella, croquettas, quiche with onion and also chilli. Oh my, everything was super tasty and yummy. Service was great, the girls were fun and smiley, but also attentive! I even forgot to take photos of the dishes, for it was very nice! The atmosphere and the music and the design and colors made everything even more lovely! Super recommended!

The best vegan food I've ever had—and I've been vegetarian my entire life! We ordered the croquettes of the day, corn balls, tortillas, rice of the day, and pumpkin curry. Everything was fantastic, especially the croquettes, which were outstanding. It's impressive how they made each vegan dish so delicious. The host was amazing, handling all the tables solo while staying friendly, kind, and patient. I’d give this place an 11/10. A must-visit in Granada for authentic Spanish vegan cuisine!

Very nice homely vegan food. Wholesome and good value for money

We had the tofu with veggies and the chili sin carne. Neither were very good. The tofu had hardly any taste ( but large portion). The chili had a stange consistency of the tofu which i did not like. The leek soup was excellent.

El Piano is a 100% gluten free and vegan restaurant, and it’s the first time I’ve been to restaurant that does both extremely well. We ordered croquettes, paella, and aubergine and it was a nice change of pace from the meat dishes we’d been having. It was refreshing to see a restaurant take fresh ingredients and turn them into delicious but simple recipes. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here.

Lovely Taberna with a good selection of wines (even if you take a glass), fresh and tasty food and of course nice tapa. For the mushroom lovers I would definitely recommend “setas con foie y huevos”.

Absolute must-try if you are BIG fans of seafood and mushrooms This is one of those hidden gems in Granada difficult to bump into on your sightseeing tour but it is super centric! They have a supreme quality gourmet products at very very reasonable price. they are buying the seafood daily and you can tell from the spectacular taste. We live in Granada but found this place accidentally and it was a phenomenal find. They specialize in seafood and mushrooms but they have a wide variety of dishes on their menu, which we haven't tried yet. Their free courtesy tapas are exceptional and the prawn salad tapa is just our favourite free tapa in town. I couldn't recommend this place more. They have a nice collection of wines as well so it is a perfect place to go with your friends since they will surely satisfy all tastes. Last, but not least, the owners are absolute connoisseurs very passionate about their job, they will delight your food experience with many interesting facts about the food and wine they serve (among others).

Must make a reservation!! We tried 3 times to eat here and finally made it because the owner (I think he was the owner; an elderly man who waits the tables) finally saved us a table for the last evening we were there. And we’re so happy he did because it’s the perfect cozy, local taberna where everyone knows each other and they have a hand written menu and the “owner” tells you what’s fresh today and how it can be prepared. We got the mushrooms, artichokes with jamón and foie gras, baby octopus grilled and baby squid fried. Everything was exquisite!! Just ask what the recommendations are and he won’t steer you wrong but then again I think everything will be amazing.

We were in Granada for 4 days and this was the best food we had by far.. the best seafood and the staff was so warm and friendly. We would highly recommend, just be prepared that it doesnt have much seating but standing at the bar and conversing with the staff is the best anyways. We cant wait to go back.

Great place to eat simple, authentic and fresh sushi! The meat gyoza 🥟 were quite tasty!

So cool! You get a little bite of sushi with every drink, and you can of course also order some other things or a sushi platter. We were really surprised by the great quality of the sushi! Made fresh throughout the night. There is very little seating inside, only on high chairs. But with spanish weather the big terrace will usually be out.

I have had a hard time finding sushi in Spain that is made with proper sushi rice, and that does not have truffle or cream cheese or mango or something else in it. Potemkin has truly good, authentic sushi. The fact it is affordable is a bonus. 10/10. Do reserve, it is popular.

What a fantastic find this vibrant, buzzing marketplace is, We ate at Isle Cristina y Malaga, The freshest seafood we've ever eaten in Spain, you simply pick your food, and they walk it 5 meters over to the restaurant, cook it, and serve! The mixed fried fish, Gambas roja, and squid were all top-class seafood, an absolute must visit. Big plus also the air conditioning, escape the afternoon heat of Granada in style at this great location.

The best place in Granada for lunch. I love coming here and it's one of my favorite mercado's in Spain. The best part is that you can have a seat at table and a server will take your order - so easy! I highly recommend the rice bowls, so much food and super fresh ingredients! Enjoy!

What a fun experience, reasonable price and extremely fresh. Someone from the restaurant goes to the fish stall, picks up what you ordered, brings it back- it is cooked and brought to your table!! Fabulous. I'll definitely eat here again!!

It was a pity that most of the fresh food stalls didn't open during the festival de Corpus Christi. But we were still able to buy some fresh seafood and gave to the food stalls to cook for us.

The market is occupied by a big restaurant in the centre area which is very loudly, expensive. If you just want to enjoy local tapas and good quality of Jamon Iberica ( ham). Recommend this 2 stores, reasonable price, good food and good quality.

This was a bit disappointing at the time we went there. We have been to there at noon but it seems there were only a few restaurants open. Several Sushi restaurants but for Japanese tourists it’s kinda joke to eat sushi in Granada. So decided not to eat there.

I’ve visited several mercados in Spain, but this one is by far the best. Fantastic food, drinks, and service, with a great overall atmosphere and all at very reasonable prices. Select your fresh seafood and they will cook it to your liking. I highly recommend giving this place a try you won't be disappointed.

Typical Irish pub, not the greatest selection of beers, no free tapas, but sports on all the time. We liked it for the crack. Been a few times now, always get served and pleasant atmosphere

My husband and I visited for a Chelsea football game. The bar was full of fans and it was a very fun atmosphere! We ordered nachos and they exceeded my expectations. They had Strongbow on tap which I enjoyed.

Decent little Irish style pub which has numerous screens for different sports, hosting pub quizzes every so often too. Limited variety of beers, but all of your standard spirits. Staff friendly enough, seems to get fairly busy on game days!

A decent pint and great for sport. Went in a few nights in a row but was disappointed to be charged double on my last visit. I'd been paying nine euros for a pint and a short then when I ordered my next he said not much left in this bottle i'll give you a double and he charged me nineteen euro's. I should have spoken up as it left disappointed in them trying it on.

Good Irish themed bar, draught Guinness and cider plus local beers. It does get busy when the football is on. A mix of locals and tourists. Service at the bar is good.

I bought a small packet of salted almonds as a souvenir and they turned out to be the best almonds I've ever had - plump and buttery while also crunchy and perfectly salted (not too salty). Wish I bought the bigger packet instead. The shop smells amazing as they make fresh caramelised nuts at the open kitchen area.

It's not cheap but I love their nuts and sweets. Staff are friendly and always generous with samples.
