The Parador de Granada is a luxurious hotel located within the Alhambra, offering an exclusive opportunity to stay in a former monastery built on the orders of the Catholic Monarchs. The hotel features old-world rooms and fine dining, with some rooms preserving the remains of a Nasrid palace. This gorgeously converted 15th-century red-brick convent offers a heavenly location, allowing guests to wake up within the UNESCO-listed palace-fortress itself.
I’ve only been to the restaurant so I can’t comment on the hotel. But the food was fantastic, good selection of cold Andalusian soups, just what you need on a hot day at Alhambra! Location is great and there’s also a great view of the Alhambra gardens.

Excellent lunch. Fish is so tasty. Staff is always ready to help and is so welcoming. To note, there is an outdoor setting and and indoor setting for those that cannot stand the heat of summer. Great place.

SHAMEFUL wait staff at the restaurant!! After a waiter sat us and took our drink order he never returned. It was not terribly busy when we were seated. After 30 minutes we stopped another waiter and asked about our waiter. He said he had to go eat. (??!!). Okay well he didn’t tell us that he was leaving…. Oh he says, he told me and I’m his backup, he has to eat. Well we understand that sir but if you’re his backup why haven’t you come to our table yet? Finally he took our order after 40 minutes. The food was excellent so the kitchen does well but the waiters are pitiful. We saw several other guests get up and leave after no one came to wait on them either. Parador you need better wait staff!!

A beautiful place, great views and very friendly staff in a historic building. So peaceful yet in a busy place. An oasis of tranquility. Hard to find so do contact reception for a video.

Hello, We found your hotel through Google Maps with so much excitement and happiness, and our intention was to book for September. Unfortunately, due to a mistake while entering the dates, our reservation was made for December instead, even though the dates we originally selected were meant for September. Honestly, we tried several times and became worried that no one would respond to us, so we ended up booking just one day in September (which was the only date available) to make sure we could secure our arrival. We kindly ask for your understanding and assistance in adjusting our booking to September, as these are the actual travel dates we had planned from the very beginning. I would also appreciate it if you could contact me directly to discuss this matter, since I haven’t received any response via email. Thank you very much for your cooperation 🙏

Sadly, many parador ameneties closed during our visit, but price remains very high. Whilst nice to be able to park in the palace, the hotel has made very poor use of the outside space , with the cafe bar very uninspiring and lacking comfort and little attempt to find comfortable seating which takes advantage of the views. Cafe bar food is poor. Coordination with front drive security is not seamless.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch after touring the Alhambra. Air conditioning and serene setting with fresh table linen was a joy after a hot day

Super beautifull terace on the top with amazing vieuw and delicious cockyails. Interieur is beautifull like a movie from the twenties, art deco, marble. Service inside is perfect but outside in front of the hotel i waited 20 min before someone came over. In the night they are more willing. Not everyone understands English thats weird for such a high class hotel

Hospes Palacio de los Patos is a luxurious hotel located in an 1800s palace and a modern annex, offering a blend of historic charm and contemporary elegance. The hotel features 40 beautifully designed rooms, some situated in the original palace with preserved features alongside modern refurbishments, while others are located in a sleek and minimalist modern wing. Guests can enjoy fresh Andalucian cuisine at the hotel's restaurant and relax in the Arabian-style garden with tranquil fountains.
This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are exceptional. My wife broke her ankle during a visit to the Alhambra. The hotel staff were simply AMAZING. In particular Julian, Juan, Louisa, Marina, Sonia, the car parking staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping staff. Everyone did their best to assist us. The location is great too. Thank you all. We will be back!

My family and I stayed here for a total of five nights, and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff, especially Alba, are extremely warm and welcoming towards us at all times, making us feel comfortable and at home despite travelling a long distance and arriving at unsociable hours of the evening. They provided assistance with the transportation of our luggage, as well as any requirements and wishes which we may have, initiating that they were always happy to help us. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, with either family or friends.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and I couldn’t fault it. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The turndown service was an unexpected bonus too. It felt like all of the staff genuinely cared about the comfort of their guests and they were all friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is definitely worth having too. The food was fresh and tasty and you can also order some hot breakfast items which are made to order. If you’re staying in Granada then I’d highly recommend this hotel.

This was an exceptional choice! We had a lovely room that was so comfortable. We also had access to the spa and enjoyed the pool and the sauna. The location was perfect, and we liked the bar/restaurant on the property. We enjoyed a great dinner. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service is it seemed they could have used more help in the bar area. I felt bad for the gentleman that was running like crazy, trying to keep up with it all when it got busy.

Amazing stay at Hospes Palacio de los Patos. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant and responsible very to our needs. We stayed in one of the modern dreamer rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was incredible. The complimentary bottle of Cava was a nice touch. Luisa and Julian at check-in were delightful and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was so pleasant and the food offerings were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic location and the room is amazing! We were upgraded to a junior suite and it feels palatial. Really convenient location in central Granada. It's pricey but for a special occasion it's worth it!

A beautiful, neat, and very clean hotel. We booked a room with a daybed. Unfortunately, they hadn't provided one. They said they'd overlooked this, and we could wait a bit. We were given two drinks as compensation, and they quickly arranged a nice, spacious room with a bath. A very good and quick solution! We ordered some food on the terrace, which was very tasty and looked great. The meat was tender and had a wonderful flavor. Everything in the room was neat and clean, and the hallway and terrace are spacious and very beautiful. We highly recommend this hotel; we will definitely be back! Richard & Manon Komen

3Hotel Palacio De Santa Paula, Autograph Collection

Hotel
Hotel Palacio De Santa Paula, Autograph Collection is a unique boutique hotel located in the historic center of Granada. It combines a 14th-century palace with a 16th-century convent and has been declared a historic and artistic monument. The hotel features original architectural elements such as stone arches, wooden balconies, frescoes, and vaulted ceilings. Its cobbled courtyard offers an oasis of calm where guests can enjoy local wine under red-brick arches and bougainvillea.
Our stay at Hotel Palacio De Santa Paula, Autograph Collection was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond by upgrading us to a gorgeous two-bedroom suite with two bathrooms—such a thoughtful and luxurious touch! The hospitality was unmatched, and we felt incredibly welcomed throughout our stay. The hotel’s location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the heart of Granada. The property itself is stunning, with authentic Andalusian architecture and a charming atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of the city. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking an exceptional and memorable experience in Granada!

We had reserved the family suite. It was quite with a nice view. The room sizes were great considering it's a historical building. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast outside seating is gorgeous. The staff was very attentive. Natasha at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. She was able to arrange a personal tour of the Alhambra and made sure we had water bottles before we left for the tour which was extra nice.
G. M — Google review
Alejandro was truly a gift of a person in making an excellent experience for my family here. He always had great answers to every question about Granada and a smile that brightens everyone’s day. All services here, including the restaurant are great as well. 10/10 This is the place to stay.
X X — Google review
The good: 1) Interesting backstory since it was a convent. 2) Kind staff members at the front desk who were all helpful, especially Natasha. 3) The building is very pretty & is centrally located in Granada. The bad: 1) The quality is extremely out of step with the price. If you’re paying over € 150 a night I’d say you’re getting a bad deal here. Don’t do it. 2) Cleanliness issues. I’m Titanium & in the first, upgraded room I was put in, the shower had multiple hairs stuck to its wall from prior guests. Eww. 3) Noise issues. The upgraded rooms in the old convent section are worse for noise than the rooms in the modern part of the hotel, oddly. That’s because they overlook a courtyard where the restaurant is located, so it’s a kind of amphitheater echo chamber. Extremely loud. You’ll here diner until midnight, events, etc. On my second night, I asked to be transferred to a quieter room even if it was a downgrade. I was then put in the modern section. Much quieter than the upgraded convent/courtyard rooms, but still too noisy in my view. 4) AC issues. The AC was good in the noisy upgraded room but bad in the modern room. In neither room can you digitally set the temperature. It felt really 90s/ old school. I woke up sweating. 5) Room service issues. I tried to order room service in my upgraded room. The phone did not connect me to anyone other than reception, and I had to try 3x through reception for them to put me through successfully. Also not a great room service menu. 6) Dingy issues. The upgraded rooms are oddly in much worse shape in terms of upkeep than the modern rooms. Paint chipping etc. 7) Lighting issues. You can’t dim the lights or create evening ambiance. It’s all or nothing. The whole place in terms of AC & electricity feels user unfriendly & from the 90s. Needs an upgrade in these respects. 8) Cheap robes. For the price & luxury marketing of the hotel, robes should feel nicer than the AC Madrid Atocha but they don’t. Front desk staff & baggage help were so kind that I’d love to rate higher. But these problems are pretty inexcusable for any hotel especially one charging so much.
Monica M — Google review
Other than no upgrade as a platinum member this hotel was fine to stay at. Complimentary breakfast was good and service excellent. We would stay again with no hesitation.
Andrew — Google review
Had the most lovely stay here while my family and I were in Granada. We fell in love with the architecture of this 16th century convent and service was great from beginning to end. Location is great because it’s walking distance to Catedral de Granada, Mirador de San Nicolas, and a short ride away to the Alhambra and train station. We appreciated the room upgrade, loved having breakfast at the cloister with great weather and view, the complimentary cake for my child’s birthday & the quick action when we reported a minor problem with our room. Our stay here proves that being a loyal Bonvoy member pays off. Highly recommend!

Fabulous hotel! The staff are AMAZING!!! Yesterday was the country-wide blackout, & the hotel responded incredibly, including managing to feed all the guests (the kitchen was dark, though they did have a generator for lighting public areas)! Highly recommend!!!

Hotel
Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a historical boutique hotel located in a charming 17th-century building. The elegant rooms and suites are adorned with original woodwork, handcrafted tiles, and murals, offering a splash of old-Granada drama. Guests can enjoy thoughtful extras such as complimentary afternoon tea, in-room massages, and designer toiletries. The Andalusian-style courtyard provides a peaceful setting for home-cooked breakfasts.
Absolutely lovely place! Our suite was the perfect size, comfortable bed, top quality linens and towels and a beautiful view from our room of Alhambra. Very quiet - only the beautiful sounds of birds singing. Such amazing hospitality from everyone we encountered. Armon particularly was wonderful and helped to make our stay so memorable. He went above and beyond to assist us in fine tuning our day time plans. The afternoon tea was a very special experience as well. Highly recommend.
Lisa R — Google review
Beautiful hotel with a wonderful Junior Suite – very spacious, nicely furnished, and featuring a great whirlpool. The hotel has a charming historic atmosphere right in the city center. Unfortunately, the Junior Suite that was supposed to offer a side view of the Alhambra had practically no view at all – only the very tip of the tower could be seen with some effort from the side. Nevertheless, it was still a great experience!

Fantastic luxury hotel in the heart of Granada. A rustic old building, full of charm, very tastefully decked out with quality period furniture/decor. Has a tranquil courtyard space circled by rooms on the upper floors. Staff were lovely and unobtrusive. Bear in mind you can't get vehicles outside so there's a short walk with your luggage, but hardly an inconvenience. Perfectly located for walking up to the Alhambra and soaking up the atmosphere of this historic place.
Tim K — Google review
I spent 3 nights here at the end of May and it was one of the highlights of my travels in Southern Spain. This is more than a hotel, it is an experience, if you take advantage of the simple and beautiful amenities. Tucked back a street from the main square's hustle and bustle, you enter the hotel into a peaceful oasis and indoor garden with small chirping birds that enter through the open interior patio. One evening we had cocktail hour in the indoor garden area where they served breakfast. A wait person graciously helped us get ice, glasses and napkins. It is the staff here that helps make this place so special. From the front desk crew who greet you warmly whenever they see you, to the wait staff who are always friendly, competent and willing to help. Don't miss the breakfast buffet, it is exceptional. Tons of fresh fruits and special breads, nuts, dried fruit, eggs, desserts. One of the best I've experienced anywhere. We also availed ourselves of the restaurant recommendations of the friendly people at the front desk and were never disappointed. This is a 5 star place, without a doubt!

We stayed in a superior room at Casa 1800 and absolutely loved our experience. The interior design is stunning, full of charm and character, and the natural light makes the whole space feel warm and inviting. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is beautiful, calm, and elegant. One of the highlights was the tea time – a wonderful touch with delicious food that made us feel truly cared for. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is also perfect – just steps away from the historical centre, so everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations. We will definitely be coming back, and next time we’re looking forward to booking a terrace room to enjoy even more of what Casa 1800 has to offer.
Ivietta H — Google review
This hotel was beautiful. We ate breakfast and had tea in the courtyard. The breakfast was so good! A great variety of food: eggs, fruit, a selection of breads excellent coffee, meats, cheese, vegetables ..delicious! The bed was very comfortable, the shower amazing, and the little touches like a glass bottle of water waiting for us in the hotel room wonderful. I appreciated how the hotel's atmosphere and the history there. It was also easy walking distance to many sights in Granada. We went to the cave museum, a great Flamenco show, and enjoyed being close to shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and very patient when we were practicing our broken Spanish with them (sometimes people would just say "let's just speak English" very quickly, but not at this hotel).
Renee A — Google review
What a gem of a hotel! I stayed for 3 nights in a Superior Room, and had a great stay. I arrived a few hours before check-in, but thought I'd head to the hotel to see if they could store my luggage while I had a wander around Granada before check-in time, but when I arrived the room was ready, so I was able to have a complimentary arrival drink and then head up early, which was very appreciated after an early morning flight! The room itself was on the smaller size, but it had everything I needed, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Added touches like the hair straighteners in the bathroom, and free bottled water were appreciated! The inner courtyard of the hotel, where breakfast is served, was an absolute oasis, and the perfect place to sit and relax after a day enjoying the sights of Granada. The complimentary afternoon tea was also a lovely highlight. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but the food at the afternoon tea was tasty. The character of the building itself was absolutely gorgeous! All the staff were very friendly and helpful, from check-in to check-out they were absolutely lovely, and were also happy to help with local recommendations for food and sightseeing! I had a small problem with the air conditioning but this was fixed really quickly. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right in the heart of Granada's historic area. Around a 25-minute walk to the Alhambra, 10-minutes to the Albaicin, and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend Hotel Casa 1800 to anyone visiting Granada.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Gar Anat Hotel Boutique is a charming retreat located in the heart of Granada's Realejo neighborhood. Housed in a beautifully restored 17th-century building, this boutique hotel offers 15 uniquely designed rooms, each inspired by different authors or literary works. The hotel's refined library and classic-meets-modern style create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Originally a pilgrims' inn, Gar Anat retains its historic charm while providing top-notch service and trendy cocktail bars just steps away.
We loved the cute library and the free water in the room fridge, so wonderful after some hot days in Granada. Only wish was for the library coffee and tea service to be all day as opposed to after 4pm. Most of us tourists get early starts!
Robert P — Google review
Okay so the location is great, the hotel is cute, the rooms are okay and the staff is nice. However, a few issues in a matter of 3 nights: - the AC is nowhere near efficient, our last night was a total hell, probably about 25-28°C in the room. - the parking spot costs 22€ a day and is painfully hard to use: you'll have to drive through the narrowest ramp to access -2 floor and then park in a tiny spot. A very expensive price for high risks of scratching your car. - we also had the unpleasant surprise to get a set of clean towels that smelt of cigarette. They changed it when asked to but this should never have happened at all. No apologies or acknowledgement received.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this cute hotel, felt unique and more comforting compared to huge corporate hotels. Smelled so cozy right when you enter, with a welcoming little courtyard in the center. Opted for the two-twin bed standard room and it was super comfortable and clean with a lot of space! Our air conditioner worked great too. Cute area with easy walks to restaurants and cafes, Granada cathedral nearby. 15-20 min walk to Alhambra but Uber/taxi was super easy and affordable too. Very friendly staff who were always available if you need anything. Water was free and refilled for us! Enjoyed the complimentary tea in the evening. WiFi was spotty at times but otherwise totally fine. Definitely recommend this place for your Granada stay!

A lovely hotel in walking distance of so many wonderful parts of Granada. The hotel staff, amazing, kind and helpful with suggestions about the city. This is our second visit to this city but we must say that this is the first time we truly enjoyed the magic. This hotel had a lot do with with it and even provided an opportunity to leave a wish for the future. Wayne

The stay was very good. Its a heritage hotel with less than 20 rooms. The best hotel staff ee met in spain (Barcelona, madrid, cordoba). The hotel smells of cinnamon and lemon, gives unlimited free drinking water which no othe hotel gave in spain in our exp and helps with whatever you need help with. I recommend.

K B — Google review
Our family of 5 adults stayed at the Gar-Anat for one night; my wife and I were in a deluxe double room and my three adult sons were in a triple room. The rooms were spacious and fairly comfortable. One drawback / comment is that our room had a fairly strong chemical smell in it for much of the day that we checked-in (presumably from the cleaning products used, although our sons’ room didn’t have that smell) which we got past but obviously would have been preferable to have not had. Our bathroom was quite large with a shower in perhaps the largest tub I’ve even seen! (Our sons had a more “ordinary” shower setup). Overall the rooms were comfortable but as noted, not spectacular, so they earn the 4 star rating. I do want to note some particularly strong points in favor of the hotel. The desk staff is extremely helpful. Before our trip they were in communication with me over WhatsApp and recommended a flamenco show that we quite enjoyed and got us the tickets. They were happy to help with anything from food recommendations / reservations to taxi transfers, to Alhambra tickets, etc…. Truly lovely staff and they were great in person as well. The location is also amazing - it’s right in the center of the old city, minutes away from the Granada cathedral and in the heart of many of the attractions, and only a 20 minute walk or so when you’re leaving the Alhambra. (Note that the Alhambra is at the top of a large hill and would take a bit longer to walk to than the walk back to town when you’re walking downhill). And the hotel had a very nice breakfast buffet in a room that looked and felt a bit like a quite appealing white cave. One tip / note: the hotel is in the middle of streets that are extremely narrow. Taxis and residents can drive to the hotel, but not all cars are allowed to, so you need to factor this in mind if you’re calling for an uber / ride share type of service and you may need to walk a couple of blocks to meet your ride. It’s also possible for various festivals / events to close off roads around the hotel.

We had a great three night stay at the Gar Anat. The atmosphere inside is really nice and the staff was very friendly. The room wasn't overly spacious, but the bed was nice, the bathroom clean and was very little noise. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to places like Albaicín, the Alhambra and lots of bars and restaurants.

Hotel Casa Morisca is a charming 15th-century boutique hotel located in the Albayzin district of Granada. The hotel features a central courtyard with a turquoise-tiled fountain and a furnished patio garden, offering enchanting views of the Alhambra. The 14 rooms are filled with Moorish-style furnishings, antiques, and comfortable beds.
Great location! With the beautiful view to Alhambra. The hotel itself creates atmosphere of the anturage and feeling of the history. Great customer service, very good breakfast, convenient parking. Special thanks to the lady who served the breakfast! It was very helpful to get instructions on how to get to the hotel. Would recommend.

This was the favorite hotel of our 2-week trip to Spain. We loved the beautiful old house and furnishings. The location - just outside the busy center of the city, but a quick few blocks walking distance - was perfect. It was also nice to have parking right outside the door. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Would highly recommend for those wanting character and charm in a hote.

This is an amazing hotel in an historic building full of character and beautiful tilework and an amazing coffered ceiling. Very unique and you can walk up the back way to the Alhambra! The night before, a car crashed into the building and burnt the 15th c door, the manager offered to let us cancel but we chose to stay and are so happy we did!

Exceptional clean hotel with Islamic history. The building is even more well maintained than some of the monuments nearby. It’s 15 mins walk up to the Alhambra, but note that it’s all the way uphills. You can also take the bus, but the bus takes more time.

The area is just beautiful, did not leave anything to be desired. I booked a standard room without a view but it was very comfortable and cute. Thankyou to the kind concierge who called me a taxi when I checked out 😊 I found not being able to access the entrance without calling the buzzer to be let in a bit different but at least safety is all but guaranteed 🫡

The space itself is incredibly lovely - an old building with a traditional courtyard lovingly restored. The location is ideal - walking distance to everything, but not in the busiest part of Granada. Although the walk uphill to get home is not for the faint of heart. We stayed in the Mirador room, which was tiny, but had an incredible view of the Alhambra. The drawbacks are as follows: no common space to sit or chill outside your tiny room; no bar or restaurant (there is an elaborate breakfast buffet for 15 euros p/p in the basement that we did not try); no pool; no doorman or bellboy to help with luggage. Parking was free, which is wonderful. There is always someone at the front desk, but they pretty much leave you alone. We enjoyed our stay, but you need to know what you are getting into.

This is a clean hotel with a nice design in a great location right near the Alhambra. Unfortunately had an awful experience this morning; we’d booked the hotel after confirming that we could park the car there, even though there would be some construction. Then, we were woken up at 8:30 and told we needed to move our car somewhere else or it would get towed (luckily we hadn’t gone out for breakfast, or our rental would have been towed). We needed to get to the airport so I ended up parking up a steep hill 1km away and lugging our bags there (street parking is tough to find). The concierge did not make any effort to help or acknowledge their error, even though the hotel had told us we could park the car there. This place is fine, but it’s disappointing if you’re looking for hospitality or good service.

This hotel was as much a part of the experience of being Granada as it was a place to stay. The building provided a sense of real immersion into the culture and history of the place. We appreciated its history and the nice decorations throughout. Our room came with a great view of Alhambra from our bedroom and the shower. Location was excellent along a main walking street with plenty of shops and activities, within walking distance to Alhambra if you can brave the elevation, and only a few minutes from the best sights in Albaicín and the Sacromonte. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to both check in early upon arrival and to watch our bags while we explored Alhambra on our final day. They provided detailed access instructions although we used a taxi, and were quick to respond to some questions I had via WhatsApp. There was also an elevator available for anyone with mobility issues or large bags, which can be quite rare. The room itself was small and simple but this comes with being a historic space. We were comfortable enough and slept well here. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Granada.

Hotel Vincci Albayzín Granada is a polished and elegant hotel with stately rooms and a beautiful courtyard setting. The grand patio features soaring Moorish architecture, red brick arches, and crystal chandeliers, creating a handsome centerpiece. The hotel's restaurant, Acequia, is popular among Granadan gourmands. The guest rooms are high-end and stylish with neutral colors and Moorish design details.
Wonderful hotel walkable to everything! The food is amazing. Loved the breaksfast and the restaurant is really really good! Fantastic rooms and service. Everyone was lovely. Comfy bed. Great rooms. I will come back for sure! Thank you!

Good value for money. It has a good but expensive restaurant inside, great location and comfortable rooms but room service starts really early and you can hear beds being dragged around since 9am or so. At least the rooms have good sound isolation. Also, I have booked for a double bed and got a twin. The gym is almost non-existent, it is just some cardio equipment with small free weights and one broken bench where I has an accident and hurt my leg, by luck I didn't hit my face when it disengaged.

5/5 Excellent The location near centro is ideal for walking everywhere. The tree lined wide avenues are attractive. This hotel is immaculate, quality, modern. The breakfast atrium with high glass and superior breakfast was good. Next door we had the end sept celebration of Our Lady of Sorrows, a serious comminity celebration with bands, floats and a Basilica that was incredibly ornate . Room.was clean and acceptable space. All staff members friendly and helpful. A 5km run along useful straight major streets was good. Tourist tip if you want to see Alhambra book many weeks in advance or it wont happen. We would stay here again

Lovely hotel. Very nice restaurant and very good food. Staff are pleasant enough but eye contact and the odd smile goes a long way. Location 15 min walk from centre and 45 minutes uphill to Alhambra. Taxi, bus and tourist train all easily accessible.

Be very careful when staying at this hotel. I was staying in 2013 with my family and we were robbed. While we were having coffee on the last day of our stay, someone entered our room, opened our bags and stole jewelry and money. This is the scam because people usually leave their bags closed and ready to leave and don't check anymore. They only miss it when they reach the next destination and then it's too late. I called the hotel and they said that they don't have cameras at the hallway, they didn't even pay attention to what we were reporting in a terrible attitude. It took me a long time to report this event, because I was fearful, but now I decided to tell our terrible experience in this hotel to avoid others. As I said, be very careful!!!!!!!!!

A fantastic hotel on the main Boulevard leading up to the old town. It is located next-door to a beautiful church and across the road from several restaurants and cafés. To the right is a beautiful fountain and to the left the main street leading up to the main Square. The room is comfortable and a reasonable size. It has tea and a kettle, but no coffee or milk. There is a mini bar and pump, action soap and shampoo. There is a safe and some hanging space. The buffet breakfast was varied and of good quality. Chef made omelettes were available.

Unbearable noise started by 6.30 in the morning by a many of rooms check out same time. This one lasted half an hour or so. Little after that cleaning of the rooms started with the noise even worse and it lasted hours up until around 9.30 am which was the time i left room. When i stay at hotel i expect minimum ~ clean beds and good rest. Beds were clean but rest was none. Only thing i like was bathroom.

Hotel was nice, room walls were paper thin we could hear the people upstairs, and next to us and in the corridor. The people room had no bath tub considering it was a 4 star hotel. For the price it was satisfactory. Service was great though.

Room Mate Leo is a boutique hotel that offers stylish rooms with great views of the city. The rooftop terrace is a bonus, giving guests stunning city views. There's also free wifi throughout the city which makes it perfect for travellers who want to stay connected while in Granada.
Gorgeous hotel right in the city centre & so affordable! Rooms are modern & clean, facilities great and the views from the pool / terrace are amazing! Would definitely stay again. We chose to add on the breakfast one of the days for €11 - it was worth it, good selection of hot / cold foods & drinks.

Clean and tidy hotel with good air-conditioning in the foyer and rooms. Staff were friendly. Nice view from the rooftop. Good breakfast We booked because of the pool, which is more like a large jacuzzi without the bubbles. There's also no shade. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the centre of town. Driving to the car park can be tricky with no entry signs, etc.
AdamH — Google review
Room was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Friendly staff. And most importantly an excellent location, a quick walk to many of Granada’s main attractions and 5-10 minutes walk to the bus stop for the places that are a little further away. Several great restaurants just around the corner. I skipped the breakfast as there are better options in the neighborhood for a lower price than the hotel offers. Would stay again!
Alex W — Google review
I shared a room with a friend. It was neat, clean, comfy rooms, all amenities covered. Management treated us great, the view from the pool is unmatched in Granada and the honesty bar is easy to use. There are many clubs nearby, great location. Overall, can't say I missed a thing.
Arancha S — Google review
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city. You can park in a nearby public parking and get a discount (check with the hotel). The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit disappointing though, it was next to the elevator, had two single beds instead of a double, a bright green emergency light facing the bed which made it hard to sleep, and a leaking sink tap. However, the hotel was very accommodating about it. The rooftop pool offers a stunning view over the city (including the Alhambra and the Cathedral), although it’s more like a jacuzzi due to its small size and shallow depth. The breakfast was excellent.

Excellent quality hotel, the pubic areas including the rooftop pool and terraces had great views with plenty of seating. Rooms were very well appointed and clean. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

Just checked out of Leo after a week's stay and I can't imagine a better place to stay in Granada. Right in the centre of the city with all attractions and the old town on the doorstep. The roof terrace and splash pool were a massive plus for us and watching the sunset from there was better than from the Miradors. Watching the hills of the Sierra Nevada turn pink in the sunset is a picture I will forever remember. The rooms, staff and service were all perfect. The hotel is spotless from top to bottom and reasonably priced. We spent our last two days on the roof terrace and had everything we could need. The honesty bar is a great idea and the huge ice machine kept us well supplied! If there is one suggestion to make it would be to put the sign asking people to shower before using the pool be put in a more prominent position as no one showered before getting in the pool and it was a little murky by the end of the day. Perfect hotel/perfect weeks holiday x

Amazing hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and so on point! We are here for our wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a nice surprise on the room and it was amazing. Thank you for that. My only advice will be: arrange some good working sun protection on the rooftop with the temperature of 38c. The honesty bar is wonderful and the prices are good.

This charming, historic hotel sits atop the Alhambra hill and has stunning mountain, city and countryside views. It took four years of restoration work to transform this 1880s carmen into a totally charming seven-room hotel with gardens full of lemon and orange trees, ancient cypresses, creeping bougainvillea and patterned cobblestones. Expertly run, its popular for its seven jolly rooms, sparkling gardens and splendid panoramas.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with a stunning view, and it’s very close to Alhambra Palace and the town center. We highly recommend it. Alejandro and the entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We loved it! We will definitely return.

We were more than lucky to come across this gem, with gorgeous grounds and stunning views from all parts of the accommodation. We stayed in the Tower. The room was generous and comfortable with two sets of French doors that led out onto a wide terrace. Here we were treated to the beauty and charm of Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The location meant we could easily access the Alhambra and the surrounding walks, and make our way down the hill to historic town and its restaurants and cafes. Alejandro is a wonderful and highly personable host who is generous with his time and knowledge. He and his wonderful staff made sure that our stay was memorable. Thank you to them all for their fabulous hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular. Wonderful small hotel perched high up with excellent views. Alejandro was extremely knowledgeable and helpful regarding giving advice on the area etc. Rooms were clean and spacious with high ceilings that gave it a very open feeling. Bit of a walk down into town but using the option (as there are more than 1) of taking the steps is far easier. Coming back up we always would take the bus and get off at the stop just by the Hotel Alhambra Palace, or a taxi to the Hotel, which is then just a 2 minute downhill stroll to the Hotel Carmen de la Alcubilla.. Gardens are lovely to sit in, very peaceful and the patio area just outside the door off the small dining area where breakfast is served, is a sun trap in the afternoon. We were lucky with the weather during our short 3 night stay as temperatures were in the high twenties. Great time.

A gem in Granada! My husband and I stayed 3 nights in late April 2025. We were blown away by the hospitality and kindness of the owner Alejandro and highly recommend this very special boutique hotel. Our arrival coincided with Spain's national power outage and Alejandro handled concerns in such a calm and reassuring way that was so appreciated at the time. Everything was wonderful. Thank you Alejandro for a fabulous stay.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carmen de la Alcubilla del Caracol. Alejandro and his helper Robin could not have been more gracious and generous with their time and hospitality. The room was excellent both for the size, comfort and view. For us the location was a plus, offering quick access to the town as well as the Alhambra. Having said that, you MUST be fit enough to climb stairs to stay here or else take taxis both down and up from its location. Otherwise, perfect

Alejandro went to endless trouble to ensure our car and bikes were parked safely. Then we could explore Granada without any worries. Alejandro explained all the important sights and how to use the map. Our accomodation was excellent, with grand views and breathtaking sunsets. A pleasure to sip wine in the garden with nature at her best after a day walking. Vanessa

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Carmen de la Alcubilla del Caracol. Our room was a good size, clean and large bathroom, but the best part was the terrace. We had a beautiful view of Granada. The location was great...mind you, everything in Granada is uphill unless you stay in town. We were uphill near the Alhambra. Definitely would recommend, we had a great stay!

From the moment the host took special care to guide us to the hotel, to the comfortable room and excellent location right near the alhambra, all the way to when the staff took special care to assure we could find our way out of town—this was a great hotel right you want to be in Granada. Hotel Macià Real de La Alhambra offers comfortable accommodations with some rooms providing views of the Alhambra palace. Situated at the foot of the mountainous Dehesa del Generalife parkland, it provides easy access to outdoor spaces for exploration. After a day of adventure, guests can relax in the hotel's traditional Arab baths and enjoy various hot and cold pools, steam rooms, and water-based body treatments.
We stayed at this hotel for one night as a group of six people and had a very positive overall experience. 🏨😊 We also purchased breakfast separately for an additional fee, as it wasn't included in the room rate. Considering the price we paid, the decor, atmosphere, and cleanliness of the hotel were definitely above expectations. The service quality, the flavor of the breakfast, and the friendliness and energy of the staff all made a great impression on us. ✨🍽️🙌 Not every staff member spoke fluent English, which made communication slightly challenging at times — but they genuinely tried their best to help and were always kind and welcoming. 😊💬 Our rooms were very clean, the furniture was more than sufficient, and the AC worked perfectly, which made the stay comfortable. 🛏️❄️ The bathroom and shower area were clean, modern, and well-maintained, which we truly appreciated. 🚿🧼 Another big plus was the hotel’s location — very convenient and easy to access, especially for exploring the area. 📍🚶‍♂️ All in all, we were highly satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We’re giving it a full 5 out of 5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel service is the worst. The male staff at the reception is incompetent and has the worst attitude. I am a tour leader. I have been to many hotels all over the world and I have never seen a hotel with such terrible service. The receptionist did not do his job properly, did not check, gave us a room that had already been checked in several times, and did not even apologize. At that time, the statt rather got angry at me. Because of that incompetent and mean staff, that hotel became the worst hotel ever. I would never recommend this hotel. If you stay at a hotel in Granada, it will be the worst memory of your life.
Seren — Google review
My recent stay at this hotel was comfortable overall. The room provided a nice, relaxing space to unwind. However, a few things fell short. The complimentary bottled water wasn't restocked daily, which was a minor inconvenience. The breakfast buffet was quite limited, lacking the variety you might expect. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was out of service for the entire first day of my stay, which made it difficult to get work done and stay connected. While the stay was pleasant, these small issues kept it from being a truly great experience.
Ali — Google review
The hotel has no air conditioning during specific months (we came at the end of April). This was confirmed by the reception staff after we hopelessly tried to turn the AC on and kept getting warm air out the vents. They said they only have the warm air option for the time being. Parking is not provided for free, you have to pay €14.5 per night. We thought it would be a given that our stay would come with parking. We were promised views of the Alhambra but it’s nowhere to be seen from the room window. The spa isn’t included in the booking price so again an extra payment if we want to use the spa facilities. The hotel facilities and decoration are very nice and modern so including stars for that.
Sergio A — Google review
A very convenient location for visiting Alhambra. A 5 minute taxi ride away. Room was large with seating area only downside was the AC was rather ineffective. As temperatures were in the 30s, this meant sleeping was not easy.
MARIAN J — Google review
Nice and comparably spacious rooms, everything is very clean, very polite and helpful staff in every function. Good breakfast buffet. Perfect location to get to by car, buses and taxis are very cheap, so it's very easy to get to the city center. And all of that at a very reasonable price.
Philipp R — Google review
The hotel is quite outdated, and the air conditioning doesn’t work very well. Parking costs €14 per day, which I find rather expensive for a hotel. That said, parking seems to be an easy way for the city of Granada to make money, as prices are high everywhere.
Stefan B — Google review
The shower water was freezing. When we complained, the hotel staff just said the place was full and told us to wait. An hour later, the water was still ice cold. No idea if the hotel is just ancient or if they weren’t prepared for a full house. Breakfast was a complete disaster. There were lots of tour groups, yet they didn’t bother to prepare enough food. Breakfast started at 7 a.m., but by 7:30, most of the dishes were already gone, and they didn’t even bother to refill them. Overall, a horrible experience. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Hotel Palacio de Santa Ines, siglo XVI is a refined hotel that offers elegant rooms and suites in a 16th-century building. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Albayzin district, it provides stunning views of the Alhambra. The hotel seamlessly combines two Mudejar-style buildings to create a tranquil space with preserved traditional elements like wooden terraces and an inner courtyard.
We stayed for two nights in this beautiful hotel and enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere of the old palace is really great and lovely. It's the best position to start through the city of Granada or go up to the Alhambra. Service is good and very friendly. The breakfast has everything you need and is also located in a wonderful room. If you arrive by car, it's better to use the parking garages announced from the hotel and use taxi transfer to the hotel. It's easy.

A lovely, if slightly rustic, hotel in a super location. Charming period features and layout. My room was on the ground floor so rather dark and no view, so request a room on an upper floor if you want sunlight. Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean and fine for a 2-night stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great Hotel at the start of the Albecin historic district. Room was superb with two large sets of windows framing spectacular views of Alhambra, a seating area & a huge bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Note of caution- It is a hotel in a beautiful historic building and up some steps from where Taxis drop you. Once inside there are a few more steps if you stay in the section with a lift. Staff helped us inside hotel but we had to manage to and from taxis ourselves.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Palacio de Santa Ines last week. We loved its great location, you can actually see the Alhambra from outside of the hotel, though it's about 20 minutes walk uphill, but very doable - we're 60 and 61 and walked it up and down. The service was outstanding. Alejandro in particular is very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. We will definitely come back.

The room was very nice and the people at the front desk were very helpful. Just a quick short walk up from the main square to get a taxi for easy access through Granada. Withing walking distance of all major places but still a little off the main path for a feeling of privacy. Would 100% stay here again.

There was an early confusion about parking - you have to park in the city and take a taxi to the hotel. So, whilst not super convenient from that perspective, its the most common setup in Granada due to the UNESCO site etc. Loved the character of the hotel and the staff has been extremely helpful. It is very well placed next to a lot of the eatery options. The room itself was very spacious and had a fantastic character. Would definitely stay again.

Spent a night there, good choice, walkable distance to city centre, for parking you can use near underground garage for 10 EUR a day (if you pay through parking web sites). Our room was situated into inner courtyard (seems that hotel is made from more buildings), so don’t expect some city view 🙂 but room was clean, a bit smaller shower, but reasonable. Nice hotel staff. All fine 👍

Nice hotel. Good for a base. Walkable to most places you want to visit. Breakfast is nice. Food is fresh. Same every day though. Parking available. Lift would tight for bigger cars but they do ask the size of your vehicle when booking. As of End of April, advertised swimming pool (the reason we packed swimming stuff and towels) was still closed and not available despite advertising on the website that it would be which might be a decider on why people choose this hotel, and not advising that was closed with a notice is a little bit naughty which is why I mark it down, but purely as a base, it is a good place to stay.

Room was nice but one of the smallest; bed also small and first night was not nice; warm water sometimes cold, in morning noisy airco outside. Breakfast is good with excellent yoghurt. Swimming pool is small but refreshing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is not possible with the hotel and a 3 day stay is expensive when parking in a garage.

Stayed 2 nights as part of a group tour. The location is great, just a short walk into the centre, with a metro station and several bus routes nearby. 20 minutes walk into the centre and another 20 minutes up to the Alhambra. The hotel itself is no way near 4 star though. I was given an internal room overlooking a shaft with ventilators/machines outside which started up at 5.30 am. The room itself smelt strongly of damp and mould. I asked about a room change and was told this wasn't possible but they would send someone to the room to see if they could address the smell. No improvement however and resulted in a chest infection. They really need to address this as a potential health hazard. Breakfast was good, usual hotel fare. Overall, this is a 3 star establishment at best.

We booked this hotel because of the pool that, according to their website, would be open in april. The pool is closed. Edit: 2 days later they opened the pool after all. Another edit after the response of the hotel: You said " we were originally scheduled to open in mid-April". That is not what your website said: "from april to september" The website has been changed now, but I made a snapshot showing the original: https://archive.is/fJ1nA Also: "we had to postpone the opening until Sunday the 27th" That was not what we were told when we arrived. We were told that it was closed, and would open in May. I adjusted my rating, because during the Apagón your generator did a great job, keeping the power on for most of the day.

Didn't love this hotel - room extremely small and smelled heavily of smoke and the halls were really loud at night. Although they have a parking garage, it is EXTREMELY tiny so anything besides a small car will not even fit in their car elevator. Really annoying. The area is also a bit of a walk from the city center. Has the basic amenities of a hotel stay but not a "nice" place.

We had two rooms but the aircon was faulty in one, it would never go below 28 degrees. When feedback was given to reception, they sent someone who just adjusted the thermostat but it did not fix the problem at all. The receptionist, Javier, had an uninviting personality who did not want to give us a floor towel for some reason even when we asked why he just shrugged us off. The other receptionist, Manuel, on the other hand provided nice and excellent service towards us. Overall the hotel is pleasant and is nearby to many tourist attractions

Casa del Capitel Nazarí is a charming hotel located just off Plaza de Santa Ana and the Rio Darro in Granada. Housed in a 16th-century Renaissance-style mansion, the hotel features a serene courtyard with cobblestone floors, marble pillars, and lush greenery. The 18 rooms each boast their own historical flair with original wood beams, tilework, brick walls, and murals that have been carefully restored.
Beautiful hotel, Professional and Knowledgeable Staff, and Excellent Location! Just a lovely place - well located, great staff, beautiful clean and pretty rooms! Such a pleasure to stay in a traditional and gorgeous boutique hotel. Front desk staff made excellent suggestions for restaurants, things to see - and especially the flamenco! I have seen many flamenco but never one as fun and amazing as the one they suggested we see in the caves! The hotel is in a main area - but also just one street up and away from the main traffic areas so quiet and cool when you need to rest or relax in heat of the afternoon! Encouraged my sister to stay there in November when she was in Granada - and she loved the stay and staff as well! Thank you!

يعجز الوصف😍😍 Honestly, the hotel was more than wonderful — the location and everything about it. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a great stay, especially since the hotel is in the most beautiful and important neighborhood, the Albaicín. Although I arrived after midnight, I found someone at the reception who was very kind and personally took me to my room. Honestly, I regret booking only two nights. I sincerely thank the hotel management for paying attention to the smallest details and for preparing the room so perfectly. What I loved the most was the coffee machine in the room, along with the tea and coffee. I also truly appreciated the welcome card you left — that was such a kind gesture. I felt so comfortable and truly welcomed. Thank you very much, and if I visit Spain again, I will definitely book with you.

I stayed here for a short break with my sister, it's a quirky hotel in a beautiful 16th century building right in the centre of Granada so on the doorstep of everything you want to see. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of local information available. The room we had was quite small with no outside view but that's fine and my only negative observation is that because of the age and type of the building (it's set round a courtyard) you can hear people coming and going. It's really great value for money.

The building is beautiful. It has a very long history. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to the ladies working the breakfast restaurant, they were always smiling and helpful. It is an historic building in a wonderful location......we did find the shower cubicle to be quite small and the rooms are not large. Fine for a weekender, but if you're travelling a lot with larger bags, there wasn't a lot of room. However, due to the beautiful courtyards and the age of the building I would return.

We had a great experience at this charming and lovely hotel. Every interaction with the staff at reception was so pleasant and friendly. The room we had and its quaint courtyard were so fitting and authentic to the area—it really enhanced our experience of Granada. Great location, excellent breakfast in the morning, and overall our favorite of the three hotels we’ve stayed in Spain so far. If I could recommend one improvement, it would be to upgrade the hair dryer provided; ours worked but was not very powerful and it would have taken a really long time to dry my thick hair. Otherwise, loved everything!

Lovely stay at this hotel. Rachel was super helpful and kind to us. Our room was perfect and loved the courtyard. Only reason for a four on location is because you have to walk far once your cab drops you off, so if you’re toting a bunch of luggage or can’t walk hills it was difficult to get to. However the location was in the middle of everything, easy to get to restaurants but still had to cab to Alhambra. Loved the breakfast at the hotel. There were even some homemade pastries. Thanks for a great stay. I would go back!

Everyone was so helpful and lovely, Nothing was too much trouble. They booked trips for us and gave us good advice about food and busses. The rooms are small but everything is available. It is a very old building after all. Good breakfast that doesn't end until 11.30!

Villa Oniria is a charming hotel located in the heart of Granada, housed in a beautifully renovated 19th-century mansion. The interior spaces reflect a warm and balanced Neoclassical style, while the exterior features a tranquil garden with fountains and aromatic plants leading to an inviting courtyard and the hotel's spa. The property offers an upscale restaurant with a gourmet tasting menu and extensive wine selection, as well as outdoor seating in peaceful courtyard gardens.
Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good, as is the bar. We stayed in a room which had skylight windows which opened up and let a fresh breeze in during siesta. Good location near city center. Clean. Comfortable.

Great hotel right in the center of Granada. The place is well selected as the main spots of Granada Cathedral, Alhambra and Plaza San Nicolas all within walking distance of maximum 30 minutes. The room we had was spacious, very clean and well equipped with all neede items including safe and hairdryer. We did not use restaurant and Spa therefore not comment. The breakfast was small but fresh. Means that a huge buffet as in other hotels was missing, however, eggs and other hot food could be ordered on demand. Bottomline, highly recommended excellent place in the heart of Granada.

Wonderful hotel, the nicest one I’ve stayed in Spain over the past 3 weeks. Great location, delightful corner room and happy, helpful staff. Breakfast choices were plentiful and it is perfect for a solo traveller. Much better than some ordinary impersonal big 5 star hotels!

We loved this hotel. We had the Junior Suite room and it was huge and so elegant. It had a four post bed, elegant furniture, double shower, separate bath, double vanity, separate toilet room with bidet. Then balcony was huge overlooking gardens, a great place to read a book in the afternoon when you het back tired after walking up to the Alhambra. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

I stayed for 2 nights on Business. Impressive Villa Hotel is beautifully converted and has an intimate but relaxed ambience with staff who are friendly attentive and efficient. Its location in the heart of the old centre is perfect, although if you have a car, sometimes the sat Nav is slow to react to the turns and small streets you need to traverse. I found it eventually, and parking was taken care of by a valet service that delivers your car right outside to your time. The rooms are elegant and well featured beautifully clean and fresh smelling. Most have small balconies, mine had two! Main street facing can be a little more noisy, but it's something that didn't bother me and felt like you were in the heart of the city experiencing the daily lives of the locals. The public areas were stylish and elegantly styled, there is a garden area where you can enjoy a the sunshine and a bar which will probably be opening regularly soon February is still cold at night. The restaurant was relaxed but formal with a quality menu beautifully presented and served by people who are enthusiastic about their local dishes. I will be going back as a tourist later this year and definitely will be booking Villa Oniria for our stay.

Hotel Puerta de las Granadas is a charming 19th-century building with a mix of old and new architecture, offering contemporary and colorful interiors. Situated at the foot of the Alhambra, it provides stunning views of the ancient citadel from its rooftop terrace and some higher rooms. The hotel's prime location makes it an ideal base for exploring Granada's main attractions on foot.
The plane was so comfortable and pleasant. It exceeded my expectations. Everything was very clean, and the staff was a 10. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of those memorable places I would certainly recommend to family and friends. The terrace has beautiful views where I would take my coffee up and read in the early morning. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and one of the kitchen staff came out to explain everything his team prepared, making it feel extra special. The food was great, with lots of options. We also booked massages, and that was another amazing experience. We really appreciated our early check in!

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Puerta de las Granada. The front desk employees were accommodating and helped me to prepare for my tours. They were also able to give me a late checkout. The hotel itself was modern and had many areas such as the 2nd floor patio and rooftop to relax and take in the sights. My room had a terrace that had views of the Alhambra. I was pleasantly surprised by the location. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your next stay.
Diana D — Google review
Boutique Hotel Puerta de las Granadas stands out for its central location in the old, historic part of the city. What really makes it special, though, is that it’s not a soulless, corporate block where every room and corridor look the same. The hotel makes the most of its historic setting by giving each room its own personality. We stayed in a room with a small balcony overlooking the street, while other rooms face the courtyard—and from the top floor, you can even see the Alhambra. The hotel also sets itself apart with an on-site café, restaurant, breakfast buffet room, gym, and library. The reception and breakfast staff were very welcoming. It took me a few seconds to figure out how to use the shower—there are instructions on the glass door—but once I did, it was fantastic. The Japanese-style toilet is a unique feature in Europe and a nice surprise.
George K — Google review
A good clean and modern hotel, with a restaurant on the ground floor and terrace. It is very close to the Alhambra (being on the road to it) and is situated with many restaurants around it. We found the rooms a little small - we booked a triple room for two of us and a baby and there was only just enough storage space for a few days worth of clothes. The shower was also in the middle of the room, so wouldn't be appropriate for groups of friends travelling together. We had a view of a wall, but at least that meant the room was quiet. It was a good room to sleep in, but not somewhere that you'd necessarily want to spend much time otherwise. We had problems with the restaurant upstairs, which spoiled our stay a bit. We asked at reception one evening if the restaurant on the terrace was still open and were told it was, so we made our way up there only to be told it was closed and they were only serving food downstairs. Because of this, we booked at reception to have lunch on the terrace the following day, but the next day we turned up to find out the booking had been made for the wrong number of guests. Check-in and check-out were both very easy, and staff speak English as well as Spanish. The breakfast seemed very expensive (€12 each), nearby cafes will do good quality coffee and toast for €3 each.

Parking and access are hard if you are arriving by car, but the staff did their best to help. The city is very walkable, so once parked, we did everything by foot and the location was perfect for that. Rooms were great and exceeded our expectations.

Nestled in the enchanting Albayzin district, the Palacio de Mariana Pineda is a beautifully restored 17th-century palace that exudes historical charm. This upscale hotel features just five warm and inviting rooms, each offering a unique glimpse into Granada's rich past. Named after the revolutionary martyr who once resided here, this exquisite property sits along the picturesque Carrera del Darro, directly facing the iconic Alhambra.
An excellent hotel. All the staff are knowledgeable, kind and willing to help with any questions. The position allows walking to many restaurants and cafes. The taxi service to the Alhambra is 2 mins walk away. Our room was comfortable, quiet and easy to warm in chilly January. Maria the breakfast lady is kind, funny and attentive. We would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

We just spent several nights in this historic hotel. Overall, we had a very good experience with some minor issues. Location - Just perfect, within walking distance from all major sights Service - Very good. The front desk folks were really helpful! Breakfast - Not too large but pretty good options for everyone, buffet style. Room - Size-wise it was fine. While we didn’t get to have any view, there was a really small balcony which we didn’t use. We had two beds put together, there was a safe in the room, a daybed, and tea and coffee provided. The bathroom was large enough, but the shower was not the best. The biggest issue was the thinnest walls possible - we could clearly hear conversations and other noises from the adjacent rooms.
Leon T — Google review
Fabulous location with a view of the edge of the Alhambra from our room. (See photo.) Well-functioning A/C AND a window that opened! The building is old (in a good way), so the inside is quirky. Stairs are uneven (and quite high). Old-fashioned key system, so you turn your massive key and ring in to the desk each time you leave. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Recommendations for places to eat were perfunctory and fairly touristy. We appreciated the suggestion to visit the Mirador de San Nicolas for the evening view of the Alhambra. Very reasonable price for the location. Would stay again.

Great experience with this hotel, the owner and staff are really nice and extra carrying after guests and especially Quentin who was always there to help, answer questions and give advises. The hotel has a great location with walkable distance from all sites of interest and especially the Alhambra, the decoration in the rooms and common areas is lovely, the roof top terrace has an amazing view and you have fresh organe juice every morning at the breakfast :) ! Would definitely recommend the place for a trip in Granada and thank you for the nice experience

A lovely stay in the heart of Granada! The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet alley right in the city center. The host was super friendly and gave us great tips about the area. It’s very close to the Alhambra, with beautiful views. The room was charmingly decorated, and the price was very reasonable. We’d definitely stay here again next time!

Very lovely 2 night stay in Granada. It’s extremely close walking both to the Alhambra and to the city center, and the room is cozy. The rooftop had a great view of the city and was quiet/we were the only ones there. The best aspect in our opinion was the friendly, accommodating staff. When we arrived, Elvira gave us a full overview of best locations in the city and offered to call the spas for us. Breakfast was comprehensive and included delicious gluten free bread for me (safe for Celiacs). All told, more like a friendly boutique hotel than the travelers’ hostel I was expecting! Will recommend.

You cannot beat the location; central and walkable to all historical attractions. The services was wonderful; they are super friendly. I had breakfast there every morning which is convenient. They do need new mattresses, mine was a bit sunken. I did have some issues but they were promptly addressed and resolved was a little noisy on the Saturday night but after that was quiet. There are stairs so be mindful of that with luggage, also the staff are only present from 8-8pm and you have to use your key at a side entrance after 8, not a big deal unless you have an issue after 8pm.
Robin R — Google review
The room was a comfortable size for 2 adults. The bathroom was also nice in size, but constantly had a sewage stench coming from the toilet. Even when we close the toilet, the stink reeks. The hotel is conveniently located by a taxi stand, however it is quite a walk to the town center square.
Tuyen T — Google review
The hotel is perfectly located near the center, with a coffee shop and supermarket close by. The host was really friendly and always happy to help. Unfortunately we found the beds way too soft (we had a hard time sleeping well) and it was quite noisy, so we laid awake after our neighbor coming in and out. But if you’re not a light sleeper or prefer really soft beds I would 100% recommend the hotel. Everything looks nice and clean

Nice hotel, but a bit noisy. Very cute interior courtyard, and the employees are super friendly. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, with high ceilings. It's just that the insulation towards the loud street, as well as in between rooms, is not great -- sensitive sleepers might want to bring earplugs.

Very nice interior, the bottle of wine in the room is a nice touch, staff very friendly! And good location We had a problem with a bad smell in the bathroom, staff did their best to facilitate. One point that disapppointed me was that our friends were in the honeymoom suite as they were getting married in Granada, but nothing extra was done for them, which is a bit sad for the price of the honeymoon suite.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights, and it was unforgettable. From the moment you arrive, the floral aroma and warm welcome set the tone. This former bank, complete with its original safe door, blends history with luxurious, modern style. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and stocked with high-end toiletries that smelled amazing. We loved watching the sunset from the rooftop terrace with its stunning Alhambra views, bar, and light bites. Breakfast in the gorgeous skylight dining room was another highlight - the best food we had in Granada. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of our honeymoon. I had emailed the hotel prior letting them know it was a special occasion, and upon checking in they upgraded us to the balcony room. Immensely professional and kind at the front desk, they welcomed us cheerfully and gave us a choice of scent we would like in our room, which was a really cool/unique touch. Once in the room, there was a handwritten note of welcome and congratulations on our honeymoon. That night, we came back to our room and they surprised us with beautifully played chocolate strawberries and champagne. Such a wonderful start to our honeymoon and added personal touch that we were very grateful for. Gorgeous rooms with comfy beds and refined amenities, and the best balcony overlooking the lively street below. Breakfast included for us in the morning was scrumptious with many fresh choices, in their beautiful dining room. We would certainly stay here again if given the chance, I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

This absolutely lovely place has all the hallmarks of an elegant 5-star hotel. My review may be a little boring because they truly get everything right. First impressions make a difference and our welcome was one of the warmest, and most professional in recent memory. The doorman was incredibly friendly and strong and lifted our enormous suitcases without a thought. My usual sense of huge-suitcase-shame was absent. The front reception was all smiles and 100% genuine and friendly - everyone seems proud of the hotel. The public spaces, rooftop bar (including a wonderful bartender), coffee shop/bar, restaurant are all gorgeous and finished in beautiful detail. Our room while compact, felt luxurious. We were in Granada for special birthday and anniversary celebrations, and we were greeted with a delicious cake, and a bottle of sparkling wine, perfectly chilled and waiting for us. The concierge had excellent bar and restaurant recommendations, and they were helpful at every turn. This is a special place, in a desirable neighborhood in Granada with a pretty rooftop view of the Alhambra. They arranged for a guide, Sabina to guide us through the Alhambra and we loved her. We really loved our stay. You don't find elegant small hotels like this often. Enjoy!

We also loved the stunning lounge downstairs, ideal for relaxing or getting a bit of work done. And the massage in the Hammam area was so relaxing! This place is a real gem, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute hotel. The staff are beyond helpful. The location is great, everything is in walking distance. So close to great restaurants and bars and yet still quiet, although I go to bed early (much earlier than closing time) I couldn't even hear the night life outside and I was only on the 1st floor, a solid sleep every night. It's an old building so there is a bit of wear and tear but... All in all a perfect gem for the price point.

Charming hotel with lovely rooms and a top notch friendly staff. The optional breakfast was quite nice as well. This was our fifth hotel as we’ve travelled across southern Spain, and by far, our favorite. The only downsides are the all-night weekend partying we could hear all night. And certain rooms, like ours, face a building under construction. So we did give the location a 4 instead of 5. But otherwise the location is extremely walkable and convenient to the Alhambra and the Mercado, with services and restaurant choices everywhere.

Avoid this hotel. I’ve been bikepacking in Spain for a couple of weeks now. This is easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed in; regardless of how many hotel “stars”. The receptionist was the rudest person I’ve encountered in such a friendly country. It seems she was annoyed that I had the audacity to bring a bike (it was technically my only bag). Every exchange with her was extremely unpleasant and negative, as if I was inconveniencing her at every moment. My guess is she is a control-oriented person and my existence ranged somewhere outside of her comfort zone. Whatever the case, I felt like I was walking on eggshells every time I walked into the hotel. Also the breakfast was better than “bad” but certainly not “good”. The rooms are adequate, but are not sound-proofed from hearing people next door or the loud streets. The location is lackluster. It’s a be near touristy bars. The better stuff in town was all over 1km walk away.

What a fantastic find! Great location centrally, with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Amazing value for money. The hotel is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were also fantastic. The lounge area feels like a luxurious living room, so comfortable. Stay here!

We spent two nights in this hotel. The room itself is well decorated and clean. Unfortunately It was really noisy and could hear people on the street all night long. The strangest part is that the hotel has no capability to set the temperature and fan speed in the room. The staff told us the remote control of the A/C has no function but only on/off. We stayed here in December so A/C only blew really hot air. Due to the noise outside we couldn’t open the window to get fresh air either. It would be much better sleep with better temperature setting and lower noise level.
SH L — Google review
In a historic building though the original interior was removed and totally reconstructed. Room is standard. Good location and friendly staff. But soundproofing is really poor. I had a room on second floor facing the street. Can’t get asleep on a weekend evening with all the drunkies on the street…
Jack C — Google review
Staff were great: they were welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for a restaurant. In the room, the linoleum flooring throughout and other finishes were not the standard for a hotel described as a historical building. The baño needs deep cleaning to remove grime.

Nestled in the enchanting city of Granada, El Ladrón de Agua, or The Water Thief, is a delightful family-run hotel that captures the essence of its surroundings. Located at the foot of the iconic Alhambra on one of Granada's most picturesque streets, this charming establishment is housed in a beautifully restored 16th-century mansion overlooking the serene Rio Darro.
PERFECT location. Super central, while quiet and very cosy. The staff is also super helpful. We have booked a spa 6 min from the flat and have been enjoying several tapas places thanks to their recommendations. So many nice stores and restaurants nearby. It’s home away from home.

We had an incredible stay at the El Ladrón de Agua in Granada. The design of the rooms is impeccable and gorgeous. Well furnished with all the amenities. We loved our apartment with a balcony overlooking the river and under the Alhambra. Perfect location at the base of the Albaícin. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly, with many great local recommendations. I can't wait to come back!

This place is amazing; very new, clean, and beautifully furnished. The owners are incredibly welcoming and generous. We requested early check-in and late check-out, and they not only accommodated us but also upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment at no extra charge. The location is excellent; very close to the city center, markets, and just a 20-minute walk to the Alhambra Palace. Beautiful city and beautiful people!

We stayed here in November over a weekend are were incredibly impressed. The location is perfect for exploring Grenada - you're right in the middle of old town and an easy walk to everything. The hotel has recently be refurbished and everything is beautifully presented. The staff were very helpful and the check-in super smooth. The electronic locks on the apartment doors meant we didn't need to worry about forgetting our keys, which was great for us. The apartment itself was really well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could need, there was a TV with lots of channels, there were really nice toiletries supplied and plenty of very soft towels. The bed was so comfortable - we slept wonderfully. We cannot recommend this place enough and we would not hesitate to book this hotel again next time - it was perfect for us!

Amazing stay - if you have a chance to stay here, jump on it. There is a soul to the hotel. Functionally, the WiFi was perfect (worked remotely for a week with tons of video calling), the sound proofing was fantastic, and there’s no better location to explore or simply enjoy Granada from. Remarkable hosts, ask them for the story of the place. Little details were all thought through when they remodeled this.

The hotel Is perfect; The rooms are clean and very good. It’s close to a lot of good restaurants. The service is the best they are very sweet and kind . they had cold water and lemonade in the fridge for us.

The most beautiful, accessible and worthy place to stay in Granada. We’ve stayed there more than 5 times now. Every time it’s like a first. Olga and Miguel are gems, the most kind and helpful people you will come across. The appartements have breathtaking views on Alhambra and is situated at the start of the road to albaycin so you don’t have to walk 2km up Hill with your luggage at 1 min plaza nueva with all the comodities. My partner and I fell in love with the place and we’ve been coming here each time we come to Granada, the managers always made us feel like home. Expect a clean, stylish and impeccable appartement with gorgeous views. 💚💚

Of the six hotels my family stayed at in Spain, this was far and away the best. It has a blend of Grenada style with all the comfort of a family run place and its close to all the historic sites in Granada. It is beautifully appointed and well decorated. You'll feel like you are part of a movie - absolutely loved it!

Nest Style Granada is a laid-back hotel situated in the heart of the city, just a short walk from major attractions like the Cathedral, Albaicin, and Alhambra. The hotel offers a guest kitchen, TV lounge, bike storage, and continental breakfast. Its rooftop terrace provides stunning views of Granada. The rooms are vibrant with walls painted in bright colors and feature private bathrooms and small balconies with city views.
I loved my stay at Nest style! Everyday i came back to a flawlessly cleaned bedroom. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Amazing experience to have a balcony room here!

Spacious and clean room and bathroom. Every day they come to clean. Helpful staff. There is an elevator and there is the possibility to leave your luggage after checkout. There is also a common room with stove, refrigerator and coffee and tea machine. Smoking is prohibited inside the building. Good and central location, next to many restaurants and clubs.
Giulia P — Google review
As in the reviews it is not really a hotel more like a hostel. Very central it's ok for the price of 50+ a night for two. Directions....Just go to the square by KFC then walk to the back right corner of the square for the entrance of the hostel. Check in did not recognise our municipality as we live in a small area in canary islands luckily a check-in girl was there to do it manually otherwise you might be sleeping in the street. Ok the walls are thin but like most hotels especially at this price you get what you pay for and it's always luck of the straw for your neighbours. My only complaint is that it's very hot. It must be at least 28C in here and it's 10C outside. We had to sleep with the balcony door open but then you get the noise of youths all night going from the clubs. Tonight I will go to the mini market outside the ENTRANCE (so you can get water etc( and get a cardboard BOX AND CUT IT and cover it. Edit the kind receptionist has turned the heating down as the crazy guest who wanted turned up has gone. Still no shelf in the bathroom for the girls make up lol as said in another review God knows what the hostel electric bill is but turn the heating down your spreading germs lol or at least get shutters that move in the Aircon to close off extremely hot air which you cannot turn off. All in it's ok.
Alan D — Google review
Zero stars if I could. The automatic check-in system is awful, it takes ages and barely works when scanning documents. The staff are disinterested, and the place is extremely noisy, located right on a busy street. To make matters worse, there are strange noises coming from inside the room itself. Avoid at all costs.
Ale U — Google review
Prime location. Clean and super friendly staff. Our room was just next door to the "living room" where they serve hot beverages, slices of cakes, biscuits, and 2 cereal options. There are pots and pans, plates and cutleries should you wish to whip up something on your own. There's an elevator and they can help store your luggage should you need to park it there. Washroom was huge. So we placed our luggage in there as the bedroom itself do not have much space. Their rooms have a centralised A/C unit so you cannot adjust it on your own.
L P — Google review
I stayed at the Nest Style for two nights in a single room with bathroom included. The room was basically the same as a hotel as for facilities. It looked neat and clean, the appliances were pretty stylish and it was very practical. There's a nice view over the square nearby and some pinnacles of the cathedral, which adds to the atmosphere. The mattress was very clean and generally comfortable but could have been a bit harder. The staff was very friendly. They also helped me with some directions to find the tourist office and the route to the bus station on my check-out day. I also got to stash my belongings into their office between my checkout and my bus to leave Granada. Note that some of their business cards say checkout time 12, in fact it's 11. There still must be an old time printed on the cards. This was no problem though, since I was allowed to collect my stuff at ease from my room even past checkout. The cleaning lady was also very nice and patient with me in that respect. Although devoid of a proper breakfast, there's a large common room with kitchen which can serve you pretty well if you're the kind of traveler who likes making their own meals. In the same room, there's also a pretty fancy coffee machine which delivers quite enjoyable beverages (although there was no coffee for the decaf). Overall, I recommend The Nest Style to anybody who uses hotel rooms as headquarters to move around town. The room would probably be a bit limiting if you want to spend half the day in it (unless you have the right kind of company to do that), but it's great to rest, take a shower and plan your next walk. The friendly staff is a big bonus and the location is just perfect, near the Cathedral and only 20 minutes walk or so from the entrance to the Alhambra.
Paolo R — Google review
The central location is brilliant very easy to find. Elevator is helpful too for bags or those who cannot use the stairs. Room is comfortable enough, bed was comfortable but had one long pillow for two people. The shower worked fine. Aircon was okay, it is controlled centrally and although set to 18 degrees it felt hot for us in Summer. The staff operate in the background, check in and out is contact-less. We tried asking for local restaurant recommendations and given vague answers.
Samantha R — Google review
Incredibly wonderful service. My friend and I found this hotel last minute after we were unable to get into our Airbnb and our train was delayed late into the night. The staff at the front desk were amazingly friendly and helpful, and they worked to find us a room for three nights last minute at almost 1am. The location is very convenient for seeing many attractions, and the price is very affordable. Would highly recommend them, and am incredibly grateful they were nearby!

Convention center
Hotel Abades Nevada Palace is a modern 4-star hotel in Granada, located just a 10-minute drive from the historic center. It features 258 rooms with spectacular city views, an on-site international restaurant, and amenities like a seasonal outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Additionally, guests can enjoy access to a gym, sauna, and Turkish bath at the hotel's spa.
What stood out for my partner and I was the customer service provided to us! Great staff, location and a grocery store near by. We wanted to take the time to thank Salva working at the pool restaurant for his hard work, his attention to detail and how he cares for the client. Thank you Salva, you made our stay better.
Gabriella P — Google review
This is listed as a 4 star hotel. It probably was at one time, but no more. First off, the staff were great. The front desk personnel were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The property is really tired. The floor covering in the hallway to our room looks like worn out carpet padding. The mirror frame in the bathroom is chipped and faded. The door moulding for the bathroom door is broken. The beds are only marginally comfortable. Breakfast was definitely not 4 star. Not once during our three visits were any of the hot foods actually hot, room temperature maybe. There was a good selection of foods, but nothing outstanding. While it is not really walkable to city center, it’s an inexpensive (about 8 euros) taxi ride. The neighborhood it is in is fun to explore, with a few interesting cafes and restaurants.
Jonathon P — Google review
Reviewed as of Sept 2025: The 4-star rating on Google is quite misleading. This hotel is in urgent need of renovations and better staff training. The rooms are poorly maintained, with issues like leaking toilet flushes and a generally run-down condition. I had to change rooms three times, but the problems remained the same. While the staff made some effort to assist, it wasn’t enough to resolve the issues. Many rooms have a sewage smell, and basic amenities such as shower curtains, a safe, and an iron were missing.
Aizaz A — Google review
For the Americans, this is yet another European hotel with poor/no air conditioning in the rooms. We were in room 123 and it was so unbearably hot (yes we had the key in the card slot, doors and windows closed). It was probably 82 deg in the room at 10pm and I finally gave up on it and asked for a room change. They moved us to room 143 and we were able to get that room a bit cooler than the first room. But I still woke up and took an ice cold shower at 3am and that helped, but for a nice-looking modern hotel in a city, I expect better. Why is there scotch tape over the circuit breakers for the AC? Pool was still closed as of May 28, its 90 deg and sunny every day, I dont know why a hotel pool would still be closed. Room decor is old and dated, beds not comfortable. Pillows are similar to EconoLodge. The hotel has a lot of potential but falls short in most areas. The hot rooms are a deal-breaker. I came here to sleep, not to incubate eggs.
Chris G — Google review
The Hotel Abades Nevada Palace in Granada boasts an impressive exterior, but my experience inside was far from pleasant. My room was in poor condition—the carpet and sofa were visibly dirty, and even the pillow was in an unacceptable state. To make matters worse, the WiFi was virtually nonexistent. The only way to connect was by opening my room door and attempting to use the weak signal in the corridor, which was hardly an improvement. The layout of the hotel, with rooms arranged around a central atrium housing the reception, meant that noise echoed through the night, making sleep difficult. The furniture was uncomfortable, with basic wooden chairs lacking any cushioning. Overall, the level of cleanliness and comfort was shockingly low, making this one of the worst hotel stays I have had abroad. A disappointing experience that I would not recommend.
Heman V — Google review
The hotel is in need of serious renovations. When we stayed here the hallways were dirty and the furniture looked outdated and faded. The bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was of the lowest quality and the food didn't taste good. The staff was friendly, but overall we wouldn't come here again.
Julia V — Google review
The worst hotel that I’ve stayed at. The hotel staff are so rude, unhelpful and careless. Swimming pool was closed off the spa has been closed for over two years. Ended up checking out before the holiday was done. Left behind my hair straighter, called the receptionist and she was not helping other then cutting me off. I would never return to this hotel and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This is not a 4 star, would event rank it as a 2 star.

Great hotel and we had an amazing stay. Upgraded room to double with king sized bed. Lovely interior and clean inside. Pool was closed off for the off season, but still had a lovely time. Would definitely stay again. It was just but far from things but take the bus and it’s all fine.

This is our 5th visit. We just love this hotel. Situated within a 10 minute walk of the town. Flat, so suitable for wheelchair users. The hotel staffe was so friendly and helpful. We asked for aids on the room as my husband has disabilities. They arrived promptly. Parking is a must here in Granada and the hotel accepts reservations for parking. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. With 2 pillows each as standard. Nice office area for those working and a coffee machine in the room. I guess the only negative was no milk available. No problem, we just bought the individual pots.
Kathryn W — Google review
Lovely stay near the center of Granada. While the hotel looks a bit sparse on the inside, the building is beautiful and the architecture inside is very nice as well. The rooms were comfortable and this is the best air conditioner in Spain! The WiFi was also very strong and fast. The hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear but everything is clean and working. The shower is the trickiest I’ve seen yet - not friendly to the tall or the thick unless you also happen to be good at contortion. 😂 This would be a good hotel to spend a few days or a week in Granada. It’s a very friendly staff and the area is just fantastic.
Rob H — Google review
Nice hotel. Wish we had brushed up on our Spanish a bit more as not all staff spoke English, but we managed to get through conversations. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast buffet was lovely with lots of variety. The attached bar and bistro served lovely food, but our service from one waitress left much to be desired as she made us feel like we were a nuisance. When our server changed to one of the gentlemen, he was much more understanding of our broken Spanish and was lovely.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. PLENTY OF BETTER OPTIONS IN GRANADA Hotel was under construction, Lobby smelled like cigarettes our entire stay. Our car was damaged in the garage but no one was able to help us or offer us to pay for the damages to the car. Hotel outdated and old. We were very disappointed with our entire stay and will dispute charges with my credit card.
Pasha H — Google review
We were surprised to find an $18 charge on our bill for two small bags of chips and almonds that had been placed next to the bed. These items were not located on the minibar or a designated tray, nor was there any signage or pricing information indicating they were chargeable. Given their placement, we assumed they were a complimentary welcome gesture. Additionally, there was no mineral water available in the minibar, and we had to go outside to purchase some very late at night. We raised this issues with the front desk, and suggested ideas to improve the service, but we were told that this was how the service works and that nothing could be done. We kindly ask that you review the snack charge policy, as the presentation of the items did not clearly indicate they were not complimentary, and add water, a basic need.
Beatriz S — Google review
The room was ok but the whole hotel remembers its better days. The pool is open since 14 Sept. Although we asked for the double bed we received two twin beds joined together. Too bad. Nice location to get to the city centre within 15-20 mins to the cathedral. Around the hotel there are parking spaces, some are white for free and some are blue for charge in the machines. Sundays are free of charge. It is good to search for a white parking space (e.g. the street next to the hotel) and save some money. The area is very safe and nice.

The Barceló Granada Congress is a modern hotel located just a short distance from Calle Recogidas in Granada. It offers convenience for business travelers with its proximity to the city center and excellent Wi-Fi connection. The hotel features two restaurants, a stylish piano bar, and a spa with an outdoor hot tub for relaxation. Additionally, it boasts a congress center with 10 rooms suitable for hosting events or conventions.
We stayed in an a wheelchair adapted room for 2 nights in early May 2025. The hotel is gorgeous, the room was nice (if a little tight for a wheelchair) and the bathroom accessible if you can stand and pivot to sit on the toilet. We finished our evening in the lobby bar with a cocktail and desert. The day we checked out we discovered 2 things we were unaware of previously. 1) There is a rooftop pool with an almost 360 degree view of Granada and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is tremendously beautiful. Try to make your way up there. 2. We had booked this with prepaid breakfast. We rarely get up and at em in time to enjoy breakfast, but this particular day we did. This had to be the best breakfast spread we encountered in all of our six weeks traveling around Europe. But what was really impressive was the staff directing the traffic in and out of the restaurant. The restaurant was fairly large with a steady stream of people coming and going. Tables were cleared, cleaned and reset quickly and efficiently. I think the United States Secret Service might want to look at a recruitment exercise here as the professionalism of the staff was something to behold.

I'm currently staying at Barceló Granada Congress and felt compelled to share how impressed I am so far. From the reception to the cafeteria, restaurants, and housekeeping, every department reflects an exceptional standard of service. The staff are not only professional but incredibly kind and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel welcome and cared for. The attention to detail is remarkable: everything is spotless, the rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are in excellent condition. I especially appreciate the cleanliness, the smooth check-in experience, and the great attitude of everyone I’ve encountered. Breakfast has been fantastic, wide variety, fresh products, and great service. The pool is a lovely bonus, perfect to unwind after a long day. I also want to highlight the strong presence of good management behind the scenes. You can sense that everything is well-organized, and the team is motivated and aligned. Looking forward to the rest of my stay , but so far, everything is exceeding expectations.

A lovely hotel with polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was a huge array of all kinds of food catering for all nationalities and preferences. The pool is small but nice to cool off in after a day walking the city. It’s about a fifteen minute walk to the main centre with all the bars and restaurants and a little more to Alhambra. We were fine, we like walking but if you have mobility issues that’s something to consider, however taxis and underground are all convenient.

An amazing hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are big, clean, with perfect views and everything you could need. There is gym 24/7, pool from 10 am to 10 pm, spa, restaurant. If you want to have a nice time in the pool without children and many people, visit it till the afternoon. For sure, you should have a breakfast there. I love they have many healthy options there and wild selection of food. They have everything you can imagine for breakfast. Also the prices are great.

The outdoor was so tiny that it’s impossible to swim. The indoor pool is extra charge £20 per person and only 5pm to 8pm. The views from the sun deck pool area are amazing though. 6th floor views of mountains, city.

The hotel was lovely. Impeccablely clean rooms. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Miguel the concierge was wonderful. He assisted us, making restaurant reservations, calling taxis and providing information about the city. He is an asset to the hotel, a real gem. We appreciated all of his kindness and attentiveness. Thank you for a memorable vist to your beautiful city.
Tony G — Google review
The hotel didn’t really feel like a 5-star. The room and common areas were just okay, and the pool was much smaller than expected — it even got turbid when crowded. Housekeeping wasn’t consistent: the vanity kit and coffee weren’t replenished daily, and the room floor didn’t seem cleaned (though the bathroom was). Staff and service were fine, but overall the experience fell short of 5-star standards.
Giuli B — Google review
Stayed for several nights whilst on holiday in the area. This is a good conference type hotel but is more 4 star than 5. Room - Stayed in a panoramic suite which was very large and contained a super king bed with a slightly soft mattress, and a sofa bed. It also had a private corridor to another room with two single beds. The room facilities were a little tired in places but overall it was ok. The view over Granada and of the mountains was excellent however. Hotel Facilities - There was a very small outside pool on the 6th floor with adjacent bar. The breakfast selection was very varied and changed a little each day. I would say the quality was reasonable. Location/Parking - The hotel is located a 10min walk from the centre of Granada, but this is a really easy route and past lots of shops. Its next to the ring road so ideal for driving out to see other places. It has its own underground parking (additional charge) which is not too tight and there are at least 2 EV charging spaces. Overall it was a good hotel and ideal for using as a base to see the wider area.

Part of a tour group and we stayed two nights. Newly renovated from last year. Pleasant staff, comfortable bed, clean and great rainhead shower. Best shower controls ever- push one button for rainhead shower and one button for hand shower. Provided bathroom amenities including hair conditioner and nice fluffy bath towels. Rooms were a good size , mini bar fridge, tea and coffee in the room. Nice rooftop patio, small pool and medium sized gym on 8th floor. Great breakfast buffet with fresh juices/smoothies , egg omelets etc. Great location to old town. Highly recommend.

The location was great, rooftop terrace and pool were nice to have and an added bonus. It was nice to have the restaurant in the lobby and breakfast buffet but neither were that good in my opinion. There’s a cafe next door which was great for coffee and pastries. A mall across the street with a grocery store underneath. The room was fine but cheaply done. I liked the closet space and area for luggage. My kids slept on the pull out bed and didn’t complain. I’d say a 3.5 star hotel

We had a wonderful 4-nights stay! On arrival we were given a room upgrade and the room was lovely. The hotel is central, located in front of El Corte Inglés (similar to Debenhams and John Lewis in the UK) and within minutes walking distance to shops, attractions and restaurants. We had breakfasts included in our stay, with a good spread and plenty to choose from. Plus the hotel has a café and a restaurant inside. Also there are places to eat next and around the hotel. Taxis to / from the train station, and to / from the Alhambra, pick up right in front of the hotel's front door. The staff were very helpful, accommodating and there was always someone at reception. It's the ideal location for a short stay and we fully recommend it! 👌🏻💯 ⭐

Nice hotel centrally placed to visit the sites. It's large and pretty impersonal. Has a nice rooftop bar and pool if you don't mind lying next to the extractors from the kitchen. We had a room overlooking the street which could get quite noisy.

Overall, a very pleasant experience. The staff were well-organized, check-in was smooth, and the room was quite spacious. We booked a suite with an outdoor hot tub—while it was too hot to use during the day in mid-June, a staff member promptly came to set it up when I wanted to relax at night, which I appreciated. The hotel’s location was convenient, with a supermarket just across the street. That said, cleanliness could use some improvement. We found a stain on the bedsheet when we first arrived, though the staff quickly replaced it upon request. I also noticed a buildup of hair on the hair dryer, which was a bit unpleasant. Still, considering the price point and what I imagine to be the general standard of other hotels in Granada, I’d say Barceló Carmen holds up quite well.

We stayed here for one night in September. We expected a boutique hotel but actually it’s a very large hotel which accepts lots of group bookings. The check-in process was seamless. The room we had was great, the bed was a super king, the shower was powerful and hot, the air con worked a treat and was quiet. We tested out the ‘pillow menu’ online and the team brought us two new pillows within 15 minutes which is great service! We also visited the rooftop bar / restaurant, which seems like it is trying to be ‘insta vibes’ - but the drinks were reasonably priced and tasted great. The view from the rooftop is great too! The only downside is that we looked directlyonto another wall of the hotel (which was about 2 metres away)

Don’t even hesitate to book this hotel. It’s a 5 star all day. The foyer is elegant, the check in process was seamless. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are simply Devine. All amenities you could wish for. Beds are huge and super comfy. Spotlessly clean. And the shower is incredible!! Views from the rooftop pool are unbeatable. Hotel Catalonia Granada is a stylish four-star hotel offering a range of amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel features elegant rooms and suites, along with two bars and a rooftop pool providing picturesque city views. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of a spa, gym, and indoor swimming pool for relaxation. Additionally, the hotel offers practical services such as 24-hour reception, buffet breakfast, room service, car rental, and laundry facilities.
Really nice place to stay a few days. Staff were all very friendly, room was clean and spacious, decent fitness center, and convenient location for a reasonable price. Only downside would be that the hotel restaurant and bar are pretty overpriced, but that's to be expected with a 4 star.

Room was warm. There are restrictions on the AC, so you can only lower it to a limit and the fan speed was really slow. We had one day of cool air so we opened the windows, but the other days we had no relief because it was hot outside. The office could not override the limit. Breakfast was decent. Room was clean and spacious. Location was nice near the bus stop.

Finding a nice hotel in Grenada can be tricky. The Hotel Catalonia is a great find. Very comfortable and well designed rooms with nice touches, like easy to use shower fittings and a really long bench which can take two or three open cases easily. Also a well stocked mini-bar. The room service meal was delicious and quickly delivered and not expensive for the quality 80E for two inc a bottle of wine. Courses are generous. We shared a mixed salad and fruit salad. There is parking right outside for dropping your cases and a garage round the corner with T2 chargers that work with chargecard. There is a spa, a rooftop pool (which we didn’t try) and they take dogs. Two bowls and a comfy bed were waiting for our dog when we got in tired and hungry from a long, hot drive.

We stayed at this hotel for the last two nights and have been pleased. First off, the front desk staff and support team are excellent from the moment we walked to each time we sought out help & support. They also fixed our room safe, answer questions, and delivered member welcome gift to our room. The room was a standard room and sufficient with plenty of room to move around, a nice desk, and great shower. The room cleaning was sufficient, but they didn’t take dirty glasses or other used items that were from food, and they only provide a single caffeine and a single decaf coffee - I know I could ask for more, but I’m addressing convenience. Breakfast was ok, I do like scramble eggs and the ones here not fully cooked. They have an omelette bar, but it didn’t open when the breakfast room opens, on our second day it opened about 45 minutes after service began. They have a nice bar where I enjoyed a nice afternoon beer while I worked on my journal. I liked the location because we arrived and departed by train, and this hotel is within walking distance of the train station.

Hotel Catalonia Granada is a nice modern hotel offering lots of amenities! The complimentary buffet was excellent with a diverse selection of breakfast foods to choose from. Our room was very clean and had a really great updated shower, too. They also have a small rooftop pool to enjoy. The hotel is in a safe area conveniently located and easy to navigate. It is a smart choice to stay while in Granada, Spain.

A lovely hotel rooms were very clean, very quiet and well equipped. Staff were friendly and breakfast was super lots of choice. The hotel is away from the main tourist area but we found that perfect for use. It is only a 10min walk to the main areas.

The team at the Catalonia Granada went out of their way to welcome me. Thank you. I’ve stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and no request was too much trouble. Lovely well-designed rooms, air-conditioning that works, excellent showers, quality linen and a nice rooftop pool and bar all complement staff who are clearly empowered to make the guest experience great.

Hotel Alhambra Palace is a sophisticated accommodation option in Granada, Spain. The city itself is a beautiful destination with its lively old town, ancient monuments, and alfresco eateries. The hotel offers a lounge and a formal restaurant/bar with a terrace, as well as free Wi-Fi for guests. A visit to Granada would not be complete without exploring the wonders of the 11th-century Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens overlooking the scenic river walk.
An absolutely beautiful hotel perched high above Granada with amazing views and within a few minutes stroll to the Alhambra Palace itself. The rooms are perfect , a small balcony with double opening doors and the best views from the shower i have ever had. The staff are amazing , polite , friendly and attentive. The balcony has great views especially of sunset and serves ice cold beer and wonderful food. The bus stops right out the front or you can walk to the Old Town centre in about 15 minutes.

Amazing hotel! So many wonderful things can be said about this establishment. We arrived without any essentials since Iberia Air lost our suitcase. The hotel instantly took care of us by providing all the basic toiletries we needed and personally escorting us to the souvenir shop next door where we could find a few T-shirts in. Secondly, the staff was always so diligent and attentive. They rushed laundry for us since we had to wait 30+ hours for our luggage to be returned and we only had one outfit to wear while in Granda. :p The building itself is beautiful. Your five senses will be soothed and enticed with the hotel's intricate decoration, unique furniture, gorgeous rooms, and tantalizing smells. The food was good too! We only ate at the buffet once (we aren't early risers) but the restaurant on the terrace provided us with delicious meals and great views.

Not bad for a short stay in Grenada. We were primarily there for Alhambra, and the hotel is within a 10-15 minute gentle walk up the hill. It’s similarly a 10 minute walk down the hill to the shops & restaurants. However, the ascent back is steep. As for the hotel itself, it’s exceptionally maintained for a 100+ year old hotel. The rooms are spacious & the lobby smells of musk :) Staff is kind & promptly serviced all our requests. The breakfast had okay variety & it’s nice sitting on the terrace overlooking the city, but the food did not impress by American standards. Oh how I longed for waffles & an omelette!

Truly amazing staff, service, rooms, decor snd breakfast. One of our best places we have stayed and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is perfect also. This review is from our family trip to Spain in August 2024. I had contacted the hotel prior to our arrival and they were very kind and prompt on the responses. During our stay the front staff was always generous in offering water. We did not use other services at the hotel but would have definitely considered if we had stayed longer. Truly magnificent five star experience. Our family is already planning our trip. Strongly recommend.

Property is close to the Alhambra and offers parking close by for a cost. The property is very beauty and the restaurant has nice city views with comfortable seating especially for the hot weather. We came in June and it was like 100 degrees. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The 2 bedroom suite with a terrace was overpriced and didn't have an actual view of the Alhambra because of the forest. The room was very spacious, but the beds were firm and the bathrooms didn't have liquid hand soap or tissues. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because we ended up mostly going into town.
Alessandro B — Google review
We stopped here from drinks and a light lunch. The views are fabulous! The city spread out beneath you. The drinks were perfect and we had flawless service. Worth a visit just for the viee The decor of the hotel reflects the Moorish history of Granada.
Bert S — Google review
Comfy room and bed, convenient and walking distance to Alhambra, nice view of the city from the hill. Overall a comfortable stay and we would definitely choose it again in future. My only nit pick is that the shower water easily gets out of the shower stall and makes the floor a bit messy; it takes some extra towels to block the water flow on the floor..

As you mentioned, I left my backpack unattended for about 5–10 minutes on the chair directly in front of the reception desk while checking in. However, none of your staff members warned me that doing so could be risky or that theft might occur. I genuinely did not expect something like this to happen in a hotel of your standard, especially within such a short time and in full view of everyone — on that point, you are right. We have already reported the incident to the police, and they will likely request the CCTV footage from you in the coming days. I must express that during our three-day stay, I would have expected at least a personal expression of regret and apology in person, rather than a written google message after the fact. In a property of this caliber, it would also be appropriate to acknowledge some level of responsibility or offer a gesture of goodwill, given that the incident occurred within your premises. As a guest paying £500 per night, I believe it is reasonable to expect a higher standard of care and communication. If this is the level of response your brand deems appropriate, then I nevertheless thank you for your reply. Update – Continuing Concern After the Incident The theft occurred yesterday, and since then, no manager has approached us or contacted us directly. Apart from the reception staff present at the time of the incident, we have not been able to speak with anyone in charge or receive any meaningful follow-up. This lack of communication and visible management response has been very disappointing. At this point, I do not feel comfortable leaving my belongings anywhere — not in the breakfast room, nor even in my room. I truly hope the hotel management will take this matter seriously, provide a clear update, and ensure that guests can feel safe and protected during their stay. I will continue to update this review depending on how the hotel handles the situation. Disappointing Experience – Serious Security Concerns I recently stayed at Alhambra Hotel, and unfortunately had a very upsetting experience. While checking in, my backpack was stolen right in front of the reception desk. The incident was clearly captured on the hotel’s security cameras — the person is seen sitting in the lobby, making a FaceTime call, then taking my bag and leaving. While the staff expressed sympathy and directed us to the police station, no further assistance or compensation was offered. Given that this occurred in the hotel lobby, under staff supervision, it raises serious concerns about guest safety and security. I believe a reputable hotel should take greater responsibility in such cases, both by supporting affected guests and reviewing its security procedures to prevent future incidents. I sincerely hope the management addresses this issue seriously so that future guests can feel safe and protected during their stay.

Nestled in the vibrant Chana district, Hotel Checkin Camino de Granada offers a delightful retreat just a short drive from the heart of Granada. This charming hotel features colorful rooms that exude a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by an inviting restaurant and a cozy cafe/bar. Guests can unwind at the outdoor pool area, which is beautifully maintained and surrounded by palm trees, creating an enchanting ambiance—especially after sunset.
Great place with great personnel. Had several stays, of several weeks and not a single issue. They even keeps some things I forgot for several months until I got there again. Dinner time is late, but that's the case all around. Food is good, both from the menu and the breakfast. Coffee is great!

Not really worth staying at this hotel if you plan to sightsee Granada. It’s detached from the city and feels very far away. The room is okay, but we found a large sign saying “I love you” in the mirror, which clearly was unprofessional that it wasn’t changed/cleaned. Overall the experience in the hotel is mediocre.

In no way this can be a 4 star hotel. Good things: staff is friendly, housekeeping outstanding. Bad things: lots of immigrants (they were all friendly though! But not something you would expect when vacationing) we had a junior suite, it came with one tiny trash can (that was broken), there’s no coffee/tea, no mini fridge and for cups they provided plastic single use ones. Rooms are not sound proof, it was very noisy due to guests entering/exiting rooms, flushing toilets etc. Everything seems really outdated. We almost booked something else after being in our room for 5 minutes and take the loss of no refund..if this hotel was advertised as 2 or 3 star, and we did not pay €170 per night this would all have been acceptable, lucky us for only booking 1 night prior to going to the airport.

if i could give this hotel a 0 star rating i would. we stayed here for a school trip for one night, and had to leave the next day due to how bad the rooms were. the rooms had bugs found in them, the bathrooms had a bunch of mold in them, and in our room there was a pee mark on the floor that was not cleaned up. in addition, the shower was broken, there were ants in the bathroom, and with everything that was going on in the bathrooms, we were told to fix it ourselves. there was also a suspicious stain in our wall, and there was a weird liquid spot in the safe. not found in my personal room, there was vomit in one of the bidets, and there were maggots in one of the rooms. after experiencing all of this, the hotel could not do anything to fix this, whether it be cleaning the room or replacing the room, because when we requested to switch rooms they just offered to move us to another room that people had previously moved out of, which were in the same or worse condition. the next morning, i woke up with some sort of red bumps on myself that were raised and itchy, and this was not specific to me, but many others on the same trip reported this after staying here for even only one night. they also reported that hair was found over their mirrors, and in their beds. overall, this hotel was actually so bad and don't waste your money here.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August. Hotel is lovely, the staff were lovely. The pool was decent, there was lots of flys around there which was annoying, but not the hotels fault. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel charges for parking but we just parked on the street outside for free and there was plenty of space. The only downside is, it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere on what appeared to be an industrial estate. So I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to be close to the center. We had breakfast here one morning, which was decent dlr the cost! I would probably stay here again on our travels around Spain, for the cost it was excellent value for money!

Me and my friends stayed here on a school trip and the quality of the hotel seems to decline exponentially. Here are the set of events that occurred within a single afternoon toward me and classmates: - The jelly was found with mold - A teacher’s bathroom contained puke - Rooms were found with mold - Bed were covered in mold, piss, and pools of blood - Suspicious liquid within the safe - Questionable stains me and my classmates suspect as blood - The smell of cigarettes lingering throughout the rooms, beds, and pillows (including finding several buds) - Piss stains everywhere— bathroom floor to beds - Ants roam free as if the hotel is one with the Earth itself - LITERAL MAGGOTS in the beds After this was brought up to the staff, all they could do is offer another room due to the fact that the cleaners would not arrive until the following morning at 8. Yet still the set of problems kept multiplying. Half our group left within the next few hours. However many—such as me— of us had to stay back and make it work. The following issues occurred: - Itchiness on skin and hair - Red rashes If it would be possible, I would rate it 0 stars. They need serious changes to their hotel.

Dmitry, the receptionist, truly stood out with his remarkable kindness and extensive knowledge of the city. Our curiosity about Granada's traditional hotspots and noteworthy attractions led us to him, and within an astonishingly brief span of 5 minutes, he crafted a tailored compendium of must-visit locales and culinary delights. Every suggestion was tailored precisely to our preferences, reflecting a genuine attentiveness that left an indelible mark. This establishment unquestionably earns its stripes as an exceptional hotel, owed in no small part to its exceptional staff.

It claims to be a 4 star hotel but I would not grade it more then 3. No coffee in the room, no complimentary water, although the rooms are clean, with only the bare necessities. Breakfast....unfortunately we got there after a bus load if Asians left....no cups for coffee, no fruit left and the other food was not really appealing.

When I entered i was in utter shock because the room wasn't at it's best quality, when i entered the bathroom there was a stain of feces inside the toilet, there was no telephone so we had to go down stairs and confront the receptionist, at first the receptionist said we should wait until 18h but we said no and he climed to go and clean it. The bedsheets had stains and it wasn't clean. But breakfast was good.

Teddy R — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I must share my disappointing experience. The hotel's service, breakfast quality, and room isolation were all exceptionally poor, making my stay far from enjoyable. Let's start with the service. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a lackluster attitude from the staff. I felt as though I was inconveniencing them by simply being there, which left a lasting negative impression. Moving on to the breakfast, it was a complete letdown. The options were limited, and the quality was abysmal. The food tasted stale, as if it had been left out for far too long. Freshness and variety were sorely lacking, leaving me hungry and unsatisfied. It's disheartening when a basic necessity like breakfast falls so far below expectations. However, the most egregious aspect of my stay was the room isolation, or rather the lack thereof. The walls were paper-thin, to the point where I could clearly hear conversations and even bathroom noises from the neighboring room. This lack of privacy and tranquility made it impossible to have a peaceful night's sleep or enjoy any semblance of relaxation during my stay. It's astonishing that such a basic requirement for a comfortable hotel experience was so neglected. I sincerely hope that management takes this review as constructive feedback to improve the quality of their establishment.
Aliaa A — Google review
A good location to bars, restaurants, and walking distance to major sights in Granada. The price was okay. Room: The space was decent and the beds were comfortable. There was a strong odd musty mildew odor that persisted even with opening the windows to air out the room. Even though there are double paned windows, the walls have really bad sound proofing that could interfer with some much needed rest and relaxation. Elevator noises and sounds of doors slamming early in the morning or late at night. It is near some bars so if you open the windows, you may hear lots of loud noises in the middle of the night to wake you up. Air conditioning might stop working and in the summer heat, it gets humid and very hot in the room real fast. If they can't or won't fix it, be prepared to sleep in a sauna. The room was pretty clean and so was the bathroom. Shower temperature regulation issues. It can go hot and cold. They provide basic toiletries such has shampoo, shower cap, soap, and etc. Service: Housekeeping did a good job. If there are issues or any requests, depending on the person at the reception you might run into a brick wall. One person helped with one request but the other person was not helpful or friendly at all. They get a lot of tour bus traffic so they don't seem interested in one off bookings outside of large tour bus groups.
SoU H — Google review
Inexpensive and fine. They do host hordes of young kids and the building does carry the vibrations and some noise but they are great 11 and 12 year old happy kids. I was on the 5th floor so the sound was muffled. Sporadically every 30 seconds or so you can hear a sound like someone farting under water in a bathtub, or the mating cry of a hippo. But this too is not bothersome. It’s not loud. When you see the kids in the lobby you see they’re great kids. At that age where the girls are beginning to be young women and the boys are still boys. Staff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant serves honest decent food but it’s rarely open to guests because it’s serving large groups. Close to attractions. I would stay here always because it’s inexpensive, clean, everything works, and they couldn’t be nicer.

Áurea Washington Irving is an elegant hotel located just a few steps from the Alhambra's Puerta de la Justicia. Originally built in the 1820s, it was renovated into a sleek, five-star establishment in 2016. The hotel pays homage to American writer Washington Irving, who wrote Tales of the Alhambra after staying at the palace in 1828. The rooms are luxurious and offer peaceful views of the Alhambra walls and gardens.
I want to thank the hotel staff for a truly wonderful stay. The hotel is located in a picturesque spot with views of the Alhambra, right next to a beautiful park filled with tall trees, shaded paths, and gentle streams that give the whole place a special atmosphere. The level of service was excellent — high-quality bed linen, very comfortable beds, everything you might need in the bathroom, great soundproofing, and large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in lots of natural light. A special thank you to the manager, Mar, for her kindness, attention, and warm attitude. During my stay, I had a birthday, and the hotel team made it truly special — I was greeted in the morning with a cake, champagne, and a thoughtful gift. It was incredibly touching and set the mood for a joyful day. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you for your care!

A charming hotel with exceptionally friendly service. All staff members are extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very cosy. The pool is a little on the cold side. Breakfast is lovely with a good variety of options. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting the Alhambra. If there is one area for improvement, it would be the gym – for a five-star hotel, it is rather small and some of the machines are not working properly. This could certainly be improved. Parking is also on the expensive side.

Fantastic location next to the beautiful Alhambra Palace. Very good hotel with really friendly staff. Good food, fantastic wine list, great pool and modern clean decoration. The perfect location to visit the alhambra and explore Granada without having to be right in the middle of it all. Only a 10 min walk through beautiful tree lined streets under the walls of the Alhambra lead down to the historic heart of Granada. Recommend the hotel 100%

Superb hotel. Perfectly located for visiting the Alhambra. Modern, stylish, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Nice to find coffee making facilities and a kettle in the room. Reception could not have been more helpful. And the car valet parking service (from a small lay-by almost opposite the entrance) was the icing on the cake! A first class experience and we would definitely return.

Probably the best location for the Alhambra, other than Paradore inside the castle. Valet car service was great, all the staffs were definitely 5 stars. Early check in was possible. I gave 4 for service because of breakfast. Quality and contents of food was not upto 5 stars hotel, probably 4, but the staffs working at breakfast time were supurb, kind and sincere. Over all I had great stay for 2 nights

We stayed here in January 2024 I. Room 108, a suite. The room was quite comfortable, with a good bed in the bedroom and a separate living room. There were two balconies with the view on the walls on Alhambra. The room was well soundproofed as the hotel stands right on the main road and the traffic is right below. But it was not noisy. The living room had the tea and coffee machine. The closet was good but a bit tricky with sliding doors and inside lights. The bathroom was decent, there was a bathtub but it was very narrow and difficult to get out. It was a real disappointment. The breakfast was OK, nothing special and the atmosphere unpleasant, guests talking loudly and on their phones, ignoring others. There is no parking even for unloading the car, it's a bit further but they help with the bags and valet parking (for a fee). Overall a good hotel in an unbeatable location. We rested well there and it was easy to walk to Alhambra.
Anna S — Google review
Excellent location next to the entrance of the Alhambra, in a lush green environment with beautiful views of the Alhambra from the rooms on the 3rd floor. Short, beautiful walk to the center of Granada. Fully equipped rooms. Excellent staff, although rather few. Special thanks to Wendy who brightened our day at breakfast. Good breakfast although some products that should have been kept warm were cold.Valet parking BUT..such a dark and depressing decor. The hallway on the third floor where we stayed was so stuffy with dark brown carpet and dark almost black long curtains in the long hallway that darkened the space and hid the beautiful view. Also incredibly hot in the hallway as if there was no air conditioning. Also annoyingly much brown in the rooms. Friendly advice: lighten the space, it's an injustice to a good hotel

An exceptional hotel! The rooms are large and comfortable, and the communal areas are of a high standard, with a swimming pool, solarium, gym, etc. The staff are very friendly, attentive and always ready to help. But the most incredible thing is the hotel's location, at the foot of the Alhambra, in a peaceful setting, but at the same time so close to Granada.

Pretty average hotel. Small, weirdly shaped room, air-conditioned didn't work. Shower was broken. Really it's just a place to sleep. Save your money on the breakfast, it's not worth it. Head to one of the many cafes nearby, you'll get something better for cheaper.

This is a hotel that is extremely comfortable and warm due to the people, the way they welcome you, and their concern for making you feel good. Everything was 100% perfect, very close to the center so you can walk. It is worth it, and I will repeat the experience.

This hotel is situated within a 5 minute walk from the Granada train station. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was spotless and the bathroom was large and very clean. I spent a night here prior to my 7 am train ride to Madrid. The bed was comfortable, the A/C was strong and hotel was very quiet. I was here for a small business conference in June. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. The room is small (typical for Granada) but clean. Temporary parking in front of hotel makes it reasonable to drive into the city and unload and check in, and they have permanent parking down the street, but I would not recommend driving around Granada – just put your car into parking and walk the city and use the bus (for example to go up hill to Alhambra) until you leave.
Doug P — Google review
Comfortable rooms in this small, quiet hotel within walking distance of Alhambra (15 minutes uphill - but then you have to walk uphill from anywhere in the city to reach the Alhambra). Very reasonable rates, helpful staff. Plenty of cafes a few steps away, town centre 10 minutes walk. Parking (subject to availability) in underground garage 100 metres away for €17.50/night (price correct as of Jan 2024). That may sound expensive, but it’s good value for Granada, where parking is very hard to find. If you don’t really have to drive to get here, come by train or coach instead.

Good value for money. We stayed one night only, in a small room, newly renovated and spotless, great big bathroom. Good soundproofing, there was zero noise in the room at night, also black put curtains,so we slept really well. We also had the breakfast, it was good. Not much variety but nice and fresh.

Had one night in an apartment adjacent to the actual hotel. Functional but a bit boring. Comfy beds.

Everything was well. The person that was there when I arrived was really nice and helpful. Part of the old town, location is good and the indoor parking is safe only for hotel's guests. Rooftop was close but the view seems beautiful . Room was clean, quiet, I slept well. I did like my stay. I really recommend

It was in a perfect location: not too far from the main attractions of historic Granada, with plenty of restaurants around. The bus stops were less than a block away in both directions. The hotel was clean and quiet (actually known for being the narrowest in the world - in the Guinness Book of World Records). The staff was very nice and helpful.

This 1800s building, La Casa de La Trinidad, is a relaxed choice for travelers looking to be in the center of all the action in Granada. The hotel is located near some of the best shopping and dining in the city, giving you everything you need at your fingertips. All rooms are comfortable and stylish with a contemporary twist, perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing staycation.
We had a great time at this place, floors were spotless, room and bathroom are very clean, friendly staff, a very convenient laundry service or you can do it yourself about a block away. Got to mention Franci. He minds the breakfast room with a lot a dedication and pride, ensures you have a good experience and walk away satisfied. The hotel is steps away to the Cathedral and to the Trinidad plaza that has many places were you can have a good mean a a cold or hot drink.

A great location for a nice hotel. Very good breakfast is available in a somewhat tight and loud room when it is busy. Our room was spotless and comfortable - just not particularly notable. I'd happily stay here again!
Nickolas C — Google review
Clean and well presented room - we had a a small balcony with a view of the square. Staff were friendly and helpful. Couple minor issues - we couldn’t adjust the aircon and the room got quite warm - not soundproof from the street so wouldn’t be good for light sleepers (street want that noisy though)
Nadia L — Google review
Small everything: reception, breakfast room, rooms and, even smaller, the bathrooms. Breakfast buffet just ok. Service also just ok. Air conditioning so weak that almost seems it doesn’t work. The only things good are the location and the price. No views. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. Close to cathedral.

A nice hotel in a central location. The breakfast is good, the atrium has cold drinks and pastries on offer throughout the day

Great hotel! Clean rooms, amazing service and right in the heart of the city!

We stayed at this Hotel in May of 2024. The rooms were very nice and clean. The location is great . Central to several things in the city. The breakfast was excellent. The service was outstanding. I had left some things at the hotel and they promptly shipped them to me when I was at another part of Spain at Jo charge! Staff was always courteous and helpful.

Highly recommend! This is a beautiful hotel. Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect. Everything went smoothly and easily. Incredibly clean and shiny! The employees at the reception and at breakfast were very friendly, personable and helpful. They all spoke English and Spanish. PARKING: There is discounted parking available at HH Maristas Parking Garage. Give your ticket to the reception at check-in. It’s €16 for 24 hours. Parking is paid at the hotel. Very easy and efficient. THE ROOM: Our room had everything we needed. Comfy bed, nice view, hot water, instant coffee and water steamer, soap, shower gel, shampoo, etc. It was very quiet. There was a little noise from the street late at night. But I had ear plugs, so it was no big deal. (Double-size beds are a rarity in Spain. Most places just use two single beds as a “double bed.” We don’t prefer this, but it was fine. The single beds were big enough for us to share one. 😄) BREAKFAST: Breakfast is from 7:30-11:00 and was delicious. Large assortment of breads, jams, fresh fruit, donuts and cake, various fresh juices and nectar, variety of milk, including soy, almond and oat milks. Variety of good coffee and espresso. Good scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, ham, yogurt, cereals, granola, dried fruits, etc! LOCATION: Prime location in the center surrounded by a ton of great restaurants on every scale. Lots of coffee bars and gelato options. We had AMAZING gelato just next door at Gelateria Dolcemasco. We went there twice in one day because it was so delicious. There are TONS of nice shops with quality clothing, souvenirs, food and candy, anything you want. It’s a short walk to many tourist sites, like the Cathedral, Alhambra, flamenco shows, etc. It’s fun to “get lost” wandering around all the tiny, cobblestone streets. Take a water bottle and enjoy refilling it for free at the fresh water spouts throughout the center. They are nice, unique touch. *The hotel even a short walk to a very nice, two-story Starbucks.* SIBUYA SUSHI RESTAURANT: This nice restaurant is connected to the first floor of the hotel, but is separate. (See in my picture of the hotel) It’s nice and has a lot of variety. They have a cool glass floor inside where you can see underground. (Also pictured here) (KIDS) MEMENTO MORI: a really unique restaurant that kids (and many adults) would love. It has decent food and lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. CAFE BIB-RAMBLA: another unique restaurant nearby that has an indoor 50’s diner style, as well as heated outdoor seating. Great place to try the churros and chocolate that Granada is known for. LUXURY PIZZAS: Grab a huge, delicious, fresh slice of pizza just outside of the hotel, if you want something on-the-go. Walk up and order. Sunny speaks Spanish and English. He’s a great guy! La Casa de la Trinidad exceeded our expectations!!

The Hotel Arabeluj is a beautiful hotel in Granada with brightly-colored rooms and suites. It also features a hot tub and terrace/cafe. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is just okay. However, the view from the hotel's balcony is really breathtaking.
We stayed with 2 adults and 2 children. The family rooms are quite spacious. It had 2 large balconies. The view from the balcony is very very nice. The hotel is located on a hill. We came by car. You can park your car for free in the neighborhood, there is space. It was good from this point of view. It is very close to the Alhambra Palace, you can also walk. The decoration, paintings and furniture of the hotel are really stylish and special. In general, we were very satisfied. It is very very good for the price. It is a bit far from the city center and since it is on the hill, it is a bit difficult to reach by foot without a vehicle. Take this into consideration.
Mehmet A — Google review
Mirador Arabeluj is one of those places where the view itself becomes part of the stay. Nestled on a hillside, the hotel offers sweeping panoramas of Granada — especially magical at sunset when the city glows in shades of gold and red. From our room, we had vistas in two directions, so stunning that we hesitated to go to sleep. The location is both scenic and practical. In only 15 minutes, we reached the Alhambra on foot, while buses running frequently from the nearby street provided an easy connection to the lower parts of the city. Inside, the internet was fast and reliable, and the staff spoke English fluently, which ensured a smooth and welcoming experience. The only real difficulty is parking. With no hotel garage and very limited street spaces on steep, narrow roads, finding a spot can be stressful, especially after a long drive. Once settled, however, the hotel more than compensates with its charm and its views. For anyone wishing to stay in Granada in a place that feels both intimate and majestic, Mirador Arabeluj is a perfect choice.
Grzegorz D — Google review
VERY small portions in the restaurant relative to the price. I ordered meat balls in tomato sauce, I got 4 tiny balls in sauce without ANYTHING else, disappointing. My friend ordered the ribs, same problem! The waiter was very nice. Great view in the rooms and in the eating place. No buffet breakfast but the biggest breakfast is nice and enough (11€). Good drinks. Not a lot of parking.
Martijn — Google review
Very nice small and cozy hotel, friendly staff, excellent location. Amazing view of Granada from the restaurant. Perfect starting point to visit Alhambra.
Alena — Google review
Very nice stay. The receptionist was very helpful and the views of Granada from the room and from the restaurant are amazing. There is free parking in the street but you would need to park at the side of the road and we didn´t find issue finding an parking slot on a Saturday. The beds and the pillow are comfortable, the TV has good signal and they provided bathroom kit ( toothbrush etc..). The location is walkable distance (20-25 min) from the Alhambra.
Alfonso S — Google review
Wonderful location and amazing views, both from the room and the restaurant. Placed with the view over all of Granada, not recommended if you have fear of hights and get verdigo. 5 min walk down to the town of Granada, and a 5-6 euro taxi ride back if your not up for the hike.
Pali F — Google review
Staff very helpful, friendly and spoke good English. Very welcoming to their hotel. Room was large and had everything we needed including a fridge. We had a city view room which I highly recommend because the views are breathtaking. Watched the sun go down and was just amazing. Had a drink in the bar looking over the city as well as breakfast. Breakfast had a few choices such as cereal, toast, fruit and croissant, was nice enough. Would stay again if ever that way in the future
Caroline B — Google review
It's worth it. You may experience breathtaking views and the room was quite good and spacious than I expected. It was very close to the downtowna and Alhambra, so we walked, only took 15 minutes. I even liked the paintings in the hotel. It was really good experience for our family.

Hostal Arteaga & Baños de Elvira is a charming and cozy accommodation option with bright, down-to-earth rooms that offer amenities like TVs and minifridges. The hostal's characterful white facade sets the tone for its rustic interior, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. With friendly staff who speak English well, spacious rooms equipped with modern furnishings, and excellent health and safety practices in place, this hostel provides a comfortable and convenient stay.
Exemplary customer service by Carmen - from our arrival to beyond our departure. The WhatsApp communication too was superb, even providing information on what to see and do. The room had everything you could think of: - well lit with a bright central light and individual bedside lights with dimmer function - a wardrobe - a wall mounted TV - a window with shutters - which blocked out all the light when closed (something I always hope for). - a great shower with hot water, good pressure and a wall mounted shower holder. - towel hooks exactly where needed in the bathroom - a very good hairdryer - towels and a bathmat - a kettle and large mugs - a fridge with a large bottle of water and some chocolates. The bed was very comfortable with a good mattress and duvet. Overall it was quiet though there was some very occasional noise from other guests in the corridor, something typical of most accommodation in Spain whether it is 1 star or 4 star. Hostal Arteaga is centrally located and perfect to access all the sights of Granada as well as the Moroccan area and lots of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops etc. There is an excellent discounted parking arrangement with an underground car park 10 minutes walk away. Our room was nice and warm in December - a perfect temperature both in the room and bathroom. Along with the fantastic professionally run hammam and massage, this is a wonderful option for Granada.

This lovely hostel is well placed being close the Cathedral and Albaicin areas. The rooms have all you need including comfortable beds, decent showers, a small fridge with free bottled water and a kettle for tea & coffee. We bought milk from a local supermarket. Hostal Arteaga doesn't do breakfasts but the very friendly staff can recommend some of the nearby places where you can find something delicious to eat. Carmen & the other staff we met were extremely helpful and hospitable. We were welcomed with a lovely card and chocolates. When they discovered it was my birthday, they presented me with a little treat too! It's that sort of personal touch which makes this place so special. We would definitely stay again.
Emmerdy J — Google review
The location is great, and the staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. Although it's an old place, that gives it an authentic charm. You might find small surprises waiting for you in the rooms :) The bathroom and toilet are spacious, clean, airy, and nicely designed. The price is very reasonable.

My wife was given a gift to use the hammam here so we decided to stay in the hostel. The hostel is in a great central location and as long as you clearly follow the good instructions it is no problem with the one-way system. Carmen on reception is fabulous and multitasking. If required you can park in the unground car park for €10 per day (€24 normally) you need to collect the discount card from the hostel. The hostel is perfect for us. There is a lift, the room was comfortable and clean with ensuite and a small television. There is a kettle and nice big mugs. It was nice and warm (December) it was mostly quiet. We felt secure as reception is open from 8am to 11pm and you are given three keys to access out of hours. The hostel has the hammam in the same building and it is fantastic. Walking in to the centre of Granada is quick and easy.

Lovely hotel in the city center, located in the historical building. Amazing and very welcoming staff. Unlimited fee water, welcome chocolates, and free amenity kit, something you don't see every day, even in 5* hotels.

The towelette on arrival was cute, the sheets were clean and the room smelt nice, but the doors to the rooms are very old and have gaps between the floor / ceiling so that at night you can hear all other guests coming and going, and in their rooms.
Maeve — Google review
Great place to stay. Clean and well maintained. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have private bathrooms and air conditioning. I've never stayed in a hostel and was skeptical at first, but after staying here my scepticism is gone. I stayed on the first floor and had zero issues with noise and the window was on the street side. Connected directly to a bath house. Great location near everything. Sites and restaurants are abundant. Will definitely stay again should I come back to Granada. Rooms came with towels, soaps, water, and a refrigerator. Absolutely wonderful experience.

My favorite hostal in Granada. I recently slept there for a second time this year. Amazing staff, very clean and great location. The building has a real charm and the baños just downstairs are great. Being the second time I slept there, I even found a lovely card on my bed this time ☺️. I always recommend this place if you are staying in Granada for a couple of days or even a week! Just book it!

Hotel Macià Plaza offers comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation in the heart of Granada, located on Plaza Nueva. The hotel provides understated rooms, some with views of the Alhambra, and complimentary guided tours. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast every morning and have free access to the gym. The hotel's central location allows for easy access to major attractions such as the Alhambra, the cathedral, Albaicin, and Realejo.
I had a great stay at the Macià Plaza. Despite overlooking the plaza, I had no issues with the noise. It's apparent they've put noise proofing on the windows. Great location with view of the Alhambra and solid breakfast
Brandon S — Google review
- Great location - Room was really clean (no mini fridge) - Receptionist at Check-Out: Rudy lady, very patronising & condescending. Tryied to charge me for breakfast I didn't have... EDIT: I’ve seen the hotel’s reply & just to clarify it wasn’t a “misunderstanding” the issue wasn’t about being charged, it was the way I was spoken to. The receptionist was condescending & dismissive when I calmly explained I didn’t have breakfast. Her tone & attitude completely changed what had been an otherwise pleasant stay.
Dolle D — Google review
Great value hotel that’s well placed for the Alhambra and central city. We had a comfortable room facing the plaza. The bathroom was fine, with a decent shower. A comfortable stay.
Tim — Google review
I don't understand some of these negative reviews lol. I'm surprised this is a 2-star hotel to be honest comparing other hotels from different cities. Super cold AC, noise at night was low, heated drying rack, and great location. People complaining about using a key and saying the interior is outdated obviously doesn't travel often. We would definitely stay here again and that says a lot. Staff was top notch, clean, comfy bed!
Jacob C — Google review
The location is top, but the rooms are old and in desperate need for a refurbishment. Nevertheless, everything is clean and smells nice. If you only stay for 1 or two days, it is fine. The problem is that the price asked is too high for what they offer.
Rentea A — Google review
Location of the hotel is great in relation to Alhambra complex, breakfast is served and rooms have got good view over the plaza. 2 minor issues : Water pressure at shower is too high and there is no mini fridges in the rooms.
Reza K — Google review
Hotel Macià Plaza is an excellent value for the amenities and location. The Alhambra, Mirador San Nicolas, and all the famous tapas bars are within roughly a 15 min walk. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The restroom doors don't lock and are translucent, and expect for shower water to get everywhere. That aside, the rooms are comfy and the view overlooking the plaza is excellent. Just expect a fair amount of ambient noise. Breakfast is located in the basement.
Michael B — Google review
Great experience at this hotel. Great price for the rooms which were really comfortable and more luxurious than the 2 star rating this hotel would suggest. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were a little small but very clean, tidy and modern. The bathroom was really nice too. It is in a great location and an easy walk to most places worth seeing in the city. The Alhambra is a very short bus ride away. If I go back to Granada I would not hesitate to book in the same hotel.

He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always had a smile on his face. Highly recommend this hotel – I’ll definitely be coming back!

The rooms and location are fine, but I wish this place had 24 hour reception. I arrived at 6 am and waited forever to be let in to put my stuff away and a volunteer arrived a bit later to tell me there was no reception. Someone was also asking for a towel around the time but the only person he could talk to was a volunteer who didn't know what she was doing really. The social environment was not that great either, not many people hung out together in the main room and there were not too many daily events for us to get to know each other. I've stayed in better hostels.
Ashley D — Google review
Oasis hostel has some really friendly staff who are always there to help you with whatever you need 24/7. The rooms with ac are really easy to sleep in, and the location is conveniently close to almost everything. The only thing that is unfortunate is that the location is close to the market and doesn’t feel safe at night (as a solo traveling girl). You get three free drinks every day, there is a pool, tonne of fun activities and free breakfast included!
Evelyn — Google review
False promises / Basic Hostel We booked the hostel because of the activities offered on site (according to the website). We also booked some activities directly. Once we arrived, we were told that these were no longer available. Both the BBQ and paella evenings had been completely canceled. The hike in the Sierra Nevada took place on a different day (which we couldn't attend due to other reservations). The employee at the reception desk said that he was aware of this and had been trying to convince management to change it for over a year. The email address on the website, which we had used to inquire in advance because we had not received a booking confirmation for the activities, also led to nothing. For me, this seems like false advertising. In general, the hostel seemed to be operating at minimum capacity due to COVID. There were no communal activities, the bar only had beer (nothing else), and the reception was not open at the stated times (often 2 hours late). My girlfriend was here before COVID, when it was a lively and cheerful hostel with lots of communal activities and offers where everyone got together and had a good time as a group. That is no longer the case. The double room itself was clean and simple, the shower very small. As a basic hostel, it's not bad. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. If you don't expect more, it's okay. We were very disappointed because of the obviously deliberately false promises on the website. Not recommended.

Hotel Párraga 7 is a stylish and charming stay located in the old town of Granada, just a short walk from the Alhambra. The hotel offers chic rooms with modern decor and features an on-site restaurant serving traditional cuisine. The Scandinavian-inspired design with local touches creates a warm ambiance. Despite its small size, the hotel provides comfortable rooms and a tasty breakfast. Situated in the heart of the city, it offers easy access to all of Granada's attractions.
Within short walking distance to main attractions as well as restaurants and shops, yet located in a quiet street. Quick and friendly check in and out. Clean and spacious rooms with nice decor. Didn’t use the work area but it looked very nice. Stairs & elevator available. Accesible bathrooms also available. Only issue I had was the shelves were tilted and stuff kept falling off. Breakfast was included and was fabulous: good portions and good variety.

Its really a nice place to relax. There is a restaurant/bar next door which is affiliated with the hotel. It's nice. The staff are friendly.

Perfectly located in the centre of Granada and so therefore walking distance to most of the tourist sites. The room was incredibly soundproofed so we all slept well, not much views though but being in the middle of a city one would not expect much!. Good breakfast and the restaurant for evening meals looked very good but we went out and profited eating tapas at one of the local bars

I stayed here in January. The worst part was that no receptionist was available around 7 PM. I waited outside for about 30 minutes, repeatedly pressing the doorbell, but there was no sign on the door with any instructions. Oro del Darro Suites is located in a historical 17th-century building on Carrera del Darro Street, at the base of the Albayzin area. The elegant apartments offer air conditioning, free WiFi, and stunning views of the Alhambra. The accommodations feature 1 or 2 bedrooms, a seating area with TV and sofa-bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with amenities.
Very happy with our stay here, we booked the apartment with a view of the Alhambra and it didn't disappoint! There's also a rooftop terrace that anyone can go to with even more stunning views. Everything was clean and any issues were sorted promptly. Andy on the desk was super helpful and professional, even sorting us out a taxi to the airport ¡Muchas gracias! (P.S. this place can be seen when you go up and visit the Alhambra and look down onto the street, that's how close it is!)

Perfect stay at a perfect location. Jaw-dropping views of Alhambra from the living room. There’s a shared terrace next to our suite that we had to ourselves both days. Furnishings were exquisite and suite was well-equipped, including a washer for laundry. A grocery store was a few doors down and it was about a 10-minute walk to Plaza Santa Ana with its surrounding restaurants and shops. Albayzin and Sacromonte were just a few minutes’ walk away. Used FreeNow app to order a taxi to Alhambra, which was over 30-minute walk uphill.

This was a lovely little stay my family and I did here. The rooms were clean, the AC was cold, and the beds were comfy. They have parking, which is a plus in my book. The roads are pretty tight, ESPECIALLY when leaving the hotel once your stay is done. If your car is long, be prepared to execute professional maneuvers to not scratch your car. The view of the Alhambra is great. It's right outside your windows, depending on which room you get. To get there, however, you will have to walk around about 25 minutes mostly mostly uphill. My advice is to take the bus or take a taxi. It will save your legs in the long run. Overall, it is a very satisfactory stay here. Will definitely be staying here again for my next visit.

We love the design and layout of the hotel, sitting area and terrace were amazing. Location is perfect especially with the view of AlHambra; walking distance if you are able to, otherwise the public bus is very convenient. Staff was very helpful, always ready to assist and friendly. Amenities are great, especially with the washing machinr provided, it really is convenient for family. The towels provided could be of a better quality tho, otherwise, we are very happy.

Worst place to stay ever It is more like a b&b suite. Reception are not 24hr. If you arrive late, you should checkin by yourself. It looks very near to the Alhambra, but REALLY FAR! 30 mins walk and hike. There's a bus stop, but Granada bus is not that convenient. I lived in room 003. Very poor & old facilities, everything looks like second hand. The light switch and plugs are almost broken. The towel was gray, the pillows are not clean I put the dirty pillow on the bed in the morning, just for remind them, and ask them change, the service just told me the maintenance guy said everything was fine. When I came back to the appartement, nothing change.

Seda Club Hotel, located in Granada and less than 1 km from San Juan de Dios Museum, offers luxurious accommodation with a range of amenities. This 5-star hotel provides a concierge service, tour desk, private parking, and a terrace. The rooms are well-equipped with bed linen and towels. Guests can enjoy the attentive staff's excellent service and attention to detail. The hotel boasts an old-world modern chic ambiance with comfortable rooms featuring high-end amenities such as electronic toilets.
Absolutely Outstanding – A 5-Star Experience in Every Way This hotel truly deserves a solid 5-star rating across the board. From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded all expectations. We pulled up in a rental car, and the staff immediately took care of parking for us. Our luggage was promptly handled and securely held since we arrived early and our room wasn’t yet ready. The check-in process was seamless, allowing us to begin exploring the city without delay. The hotel’s location is ideal—within walking distance to many of Granada’s top attractions. When we returned a few hours later, our room was ready, our luggage was already inside, and we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome treat of chocolates and snacks. Every detail was meticulously taken care of, making our stay truly exceptional. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable, well-located, and impeccably managed stay in Granada.

So glad we picked this hotel in Granada! The attention to detail here is unmatched. Service was excellent from everyone but especially Chahinaz. I’m vegetarian and she took time to look at local restaurant menus and help recommend places to me, she was always super helpful. Housekeeping was great, they even wrapped our charger wires, very detailed and thoughtful. Breakfast was very tasty, service was good & the coffee here we had with the hotel breakfast was the best I had in Spain. The design of this place is gorgeous, it feels like you’re in a Pinterest board, and the lobby music is nice too. Very clean as well. Extremely hospitable place! What could have been better: - TV & tablets need an upgrade for the price of this hotel. They were outdated and not very functional. - AC wasn’t strong enough in the day, but we came at a very hot time and this just seems to be a regional norm. - Wish we had the option to raise the lights in the shower room more, it was too dark. - Couch in our living room area wasn’t very comfortable. - Wish our rooms had some sort of view, our windows faced another building. Charming place overall & would definitely stay here again!

Had a fantastic stay at the Seda in October. From the location to the room to the attentive staff, everything was outstanding. When the staff consistently remembers your name, you know it’s a special hotel. The only downside: we only spent one night! Can’t wait to return.

We recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Granada and were very impressed by the rooms and décor — elegant, comfortable, and true to the character of the city. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, making check-in and our overall experience smooth. However, there was one area that could be improved. The bar service was disappointing. Despite sitting at the bar for about 30 minutes with several staff walking by, we weren’t acknowledged or served, and when we finally received our drinks, they didn’t quite meet expectations for a five-star property. With a bit more attention to service, this hotel could easily live up to its five-star potential. It’s a stunning place to stay, and we hope to return once these small but important details are addressed.

Completely happy with my stay here. Reminds me of a 5 star hotel I stayed at near Covent garden in London. Staff very friendly and attended to everything. Had a personalized tour set up for Albaicín through the hotel, Absolutamente perfecto! Great location, room and internet speed great, breakfast was great. Reading the negative reviews it seems like there is a battle about service. I didn't have any issues but I am also very low maintenance. Overall my wife and I had a five star experience.

My experience at Seda Club Hotel was exceptional. The hotel combines elegance, comfort, and perfect service. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and luxurious. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada. Can’t wait to come back!

A big statement but this has been one of my favourite hotels in the world!! It really holds its 5 stars well but not in a stuffy or pretentious way like some hotels. Firstly location is perfect, super close to everything you would want to see! We decided to drive and have an affordable private carpark with valet service, perfect considering I’m not used to tight European car parks (one less thing for me to worry about.) Hotel itself is a beautiful and artsy space, something I really appreciate! We didn’t get a chance to try the bar, but looked well stocked. We did try breakfast however and was delicious and freshly prepared, although it you’re in Granada I would go find some churros for breakfast at least one day. Finally the room and service was polished and friendly! Won’t give it away but there might be some little treats given during your stay, which make coming back to the room exciting. And finally, it’s all the little things they did while we were out, from arranging our lotions to neatly tying my charging cables! If you want a 5 star experience in Spain please try here!!

We had a wonderful stay at Seda Club Hotel Granada. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out — Laura and Chillia (sorry I forgot the pronouncation) at reception were warm, welcoming, and very professional both check in and check out. The bar and breakfast team made our visit a pleasure, and the gentleman who helped with my luggage was equally attentive and professional. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a stunning interior that feels both stylish and comfortable. Amenities are thoughtfully provided and of excellent quality, adding to the overall experience. I also have to mention that they make an outstanding Negroni at the bar — definitely one of the best I’ve had! Please do check out their stairs. Overall, Seda Club Hotel Granada combines top-notch service with elegant design and great hospitality. Highly recommended.

Palacio Cabrera-Lillo is a newly renovated building from the 1820s located near Granada's town hall. It offers modern apartments with touches of original architecture. The property features seven one-room apartments accommodating 2-4 people, four two-bedroom options for 4-6 guests, and one studio. Guests are welcomed by friendly and professional staff who provide assistance with parking and other needs. The location is ideal for exploring the area's major shopping streets and local life.
We stayed for four nights and it was very pleasant. Very close to city center. The service was good indeed.

Absolute silence, extremely well located, immaculately clean, and fully equipped for groups/longer stays. The staff was super helpful on arrival and remained attentive throughout the visit. Walkable to just about everywhere worth seeing within Granada. Will for sure be coming back, as a regular visitor to the area, this option is firmly superior to 4-5 star hotels triple the price in the same zone.

Got the holiday off to a great start. Greeted by Isobel ( friendly and professional)and she helped us park the car ,secure underground and only meters from hotel. Shown to our room and pleased it was spacious clean and decor was clean contemporary. Beds and pillows comfy. Self catering facilities good better still nespresso coffee machine. Good location to explore. We had a room first floor onto road. Not a main road more pedestrian quiet enough as double glazing and shutters. Would recommend to others.

Have spent five nights in Granada. Isobel greeted us on arrival & upgraded us from a studio to a one bedroom apartment.Room was wonderful. On arriving we had also made enquiries about washing our clothes as we had been travelling for quite awhile.Isobel again organised for another one of her team Maria to have them washed using a washing machine from another empty apartment. Nothing was a bother. All the staff including Barbara couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

Friendly staff and nice room. The hotel needs a newer wifi router, it is too limited on how many devices can be connected to it simultaneously. Because internet is crucial for my work I would only return to this hotel if the hotel staff were to upgrade their network.

Hotel Santa Isabel la Real is a charming 16th-century property located in Granada's old town, offering warm and rustic rooms with views of the Alhambra or the courtyard. The hotel provides a free breakfast buffet featuring homemade cakes and jams. Situated in the ancient Albayzin neighborhood, it offers an ideal base for exploring the area's winding streets and squares.
Very lovely stay with a very friendly staff who assisted with directions. The staff even offered to get a taxi for us when we had to leave very early in the morning. They even offered to pack us breakfast! The service is to notch and helped make the Granada experience even more memorable. Everything was clean and well maintained. Note It is a bit of a hike up so be prepared and take breaks. Or you can get a taxi/Uber. But location wise, it's perfect for what we wanted to do on the trip. An added bonus, the site used to be rooms for the convent centuries ago which is really cool

Spent 4 nights here for my Birthday. Lovely, intimate little Hotel run by Lovely friendly people. Ingo, very helpful on arrival, explaining where to go and where to eat and advice about the Alhambra and travel. Nothing too much trouble.

Lovely family operated hotel located in the heart of the Albaicin with real character! Staff were super friendly and provided us a detailed overview of the city and it's main attractions. The included breakfast was also delicious and a real highlight! Parking can also be included for 20 Euros/day and they provide great instructions to arrive as it is located on a private street. We opted to park farther out and take s taxi though and there is also a bus stop located conveniently next to the hotel.
David R — Google review
We stayed there for one night. Before arriving we received very clear instructions how to get to the hotel and where is the parking. Staff was very friendly, check - in went smoothly, they are very hospitable, treated us with lemonade and coffee, showed rooms and gave map with recommendations how to get to Alhambra, best places for lunch or dinner. Hotel has unique atmosphere and everything from there is reachable. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay here in August. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored by the family who run it. The breakfast was first class with home made honey, yoghurt and delicious bread. Lola and her mother are wonderful hosts. If you can, book direct with them as it makes a big difference.
K K — Google review
It was a lovely stay for us. The building itself is reminiscent of a riad in Morocco, charming, like a boutique hotel, and family-run. Warm greetings and a welcome drink set the tone, and took the time to explain the basics of Granada. We followed their recommendations and were very satisfied. Located in the Albaicin, it's truly on the hilltop, which adds to the experience. Conveniently, there's a bus stop (lines 31 and 32) right in front of the building, making it easy to get to the city center or the Alhambra. A recommended place to stay.

I'm a Korean. This hotel is run by a very lovely and friendly family. You may feel the warmth and coziness of visiting your aunt's house rather than a hotel. Breakfast is home-cooked, and the fried eggs and omelet made by the grandmother are very delicious. If I come to Granada again I will stay again.

Domus Apartamentos Granada is a centrally located accommodation offering city views and a private entrance for convenience. The apartment provides amenities such as a sun terrace, 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi. Guests appreciate the hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort of the stay. Additionally, the apartment offers information to travelers about nearby attractions and includes parking in the price. The well-equipped and renovated apartment features unique mountain and city views along with excellent staff service.
Very well located, good restaurants and sites within short distances. The apartment itself was an oasis after long touring days. Everything in the apartment was well maintained. Also, the communication was superb relieving a lot of anxiety and making us feel welcome and taken care of. We wouldn’t bother looking for another place on our next trip to Granada
Ian M — Google review
Domus Apartamentos Granada offers a mixed experience for us. On the positive side, the apartments are spacious and luminous, providing a serene and quiet environment perfect for a relaxing stay. Each unit is well-equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine with free capsules, ensuring guests' comfort and convenience. The service is excellent and readily available, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the provision of free parking in a garage just three minutes away is a significant advantage for those travelling by car. However, there are several drawbacks that potential guests should consider. The bed, unfortunately, is uncomfortable, which might detract from a good night's sleep. Moreover, the glass furniture, particularly the small table, feels fragile and potentially dangerous, creating a sense of unease during the stay. Although the apartments come with a washing machine, the provided hanger is small and weak, making it difficult to dry clothes efficiently. Another inconvenience is the necessity to dispose of trash downstairs on the street, which can be unpleasant. Furthermore, the supply of toilet paper or capsules is minimal, requiring frequent requests to the service staff. In summary, while Domus Apartamentos Granada boasts a pleasant atmosphere, good amenities, and excellent service, certain aspects like the uncomfortable bed, fragile furniture, and minor inconveniences with amenities may impact the overall comfort of the stay.
Davide M — Google review
Domus Apartamentos Granada is a pleasant place to stay with clean and comfortable apartments. The staff is friendly and helpful. We received free access to a parking garage, but it was a bit far, about 600 meters away. The location is excellent, close to main attractions and good restaurants. However, the sleeping arrangements for the 3rd and 4th guests were uncomfortable; the couch that converts to a bed let you feel the metals in your back. Overall, it was a good experience. Four stars.
Ufuk Y — Google review
Perfect location in the heart of the city. All within walking distance and well connected to Alhambra by bus. The free parking is very close to the apartment. The check-in process was very easy and excellent communication throughout the whole stay, including how to get to the parking with pictures. When I asked for extra items such as coffee pods, they were delivered within hours. The WhatsApp communication was without any delays. The apartment itself was modern and well furnished with everything you would expect for a comfortable stay. The aircon was on point (much needed). The kitchen had all the appliances and even had the condiments as a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam pillows and mattresses and spare pillows if needed. Overall perfect location, lovely apartment and great communication and service. Faultless from start to finish when away from home, what more could you ask for.

The rooftop pool has received positive feedback for its cleanliness and well-maintenance, making it an ideal spot to relax and soak up the sun on one of the available sun loungers.
I visited the hotel for two nights with my wife and daughter, I loved the service at the reception, they were so attentive and helpful ❤️❤️, we enjoyed the room very cozy and relaxing 😌. The parking area was great, and the car charger there was over my expectations👌. I definitely will go back to this hotel when I visit Granada again ☺️.

Stefano A — Google review
Construction Work Detracts from an Otherwise Pleasant Stay Unfortunately, during our stay in May 2025, extensive construction work was taking place right in front of the hotel entrance. In addition, the rooftop terrace and pool were closed due to renovations—a real shame, as these areas looked particularly inviting in the photos. Despite the hotel's location on a busy street, noise was not an issue thanks to the excellent soundproofing: we couldn’t hear any street noise, sounds from the nearby school, or even the construction. The room itself was nicely darkened, and the bed—including a wide selection of pillows—was exceptionally comfortable. I slept very well. The hotel offers two underground parking garages: one with direct access to the building and another across the street. The parking fee is €18 per day, though it may be lower when booking directly through the hotel. The parking spaces are somewhat tight and require careful maneuvering, but they are still usable. Due to the construction, we had to move our car once. There was also a brief power outage one night, but it didn’t cause any major inconvenience. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. At check-in, we received useful tips about local attractions. We spontaneously chose to upgrade to a Junior Suite, which turned out to be a worthwhile decision: for an extra €33 per night, we got an additional room with a cozy seating area. An early check-in was accommodated without issue, and the late check-out until noon was also appreciated. On the ground floor, you’ll find the reception, a restaurant with a bar (which we didn’t try), a small but well-equipped fitness room (with a treadmill, step machine, bikes, and strength equipment), and the breakfast area. Breakfast was very good: tasty, varied, and featuring a number of Spanish specialties. The (freshly squeezed?) orange juice, pastries, and fruit were also of good quality. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. However, the design of the breakfast area could be more inviting—it felt a bit sterile and plain. Unfortunately the employees seem to be under much pressure and start stressing the guests even if breakfast is still served for more than half an hour (until 10:30 am). The elevators were quick and provided easy access to the rooms and, in theory, the rooftop terrace—which, as mentioned, was closed due to construction. The room itself was modern and clean, with no carpet, large TVs, a well-stocked (but paid) minibar, and a spacious bathroom. A generous selection of quality toiletries was provided. Again, the sleep quality stood out: the bed was very comfortable, and the pillow menu was a real benefit for me as a side sleeper. The only real downside was the unreliable Wi-Fi. There are grocery shopping options near the hotel, though not many appealing restaurants. We reached the Sierra Nevada quickly by car. For our visit to the Alhambra, we took a taxi, which cost about €10 to the Gate of Justice. We walked back from there. The city center is also about a 20-minute walk away—a pleasant stroll with plenty to see. We especially recommend exploring the charming side streets away from the main roads.

This hotel is excellent. Excellent two underground carparks. Staff are very helpful. Roos are clean and smart. The bed is huge and comfortable. Bar area is excellent for a drink in the evening. Did not use the restaurant for breakfast as many bars and cafes close by and a LOT cheaper. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Overall..I have returned and will return again.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are very helpful. The A/C is also nice and powerful which was vital for us. There is a bus stop right around the corner which brings you to the heart of the city for a low fare. The science park is also a very short walk from the hotel which was a great experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Rooms are big enough with a nice view to the mountains and a separate bath tab and a toilet set of bidet. Nice and wide bed with pure white sheets and linens. Breakfast is pretty good with a nice selection of drinks, fruits, hams, cheeses, sweets. Swimming pool is at the top of the building with a breathtaking view and comfort service. Definitely this hotel is one of the best options for comfy and not super expensive stay in Grenada.
Katrin H — Google review
Excellent customer service from everyone at the hotel. The room was a very good size, clean and with a large bathroom. You can make a reservation to include breakfast, which I recommend. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food. Coffee a bit weak. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown (Santa Ana Plaza) Granada and a 25 minute walk. Very nice walk. If you plan to sleep in on weekdays ask for a room that doesn’t face the school.

Hotel Granada Center It is in the details that one distinguishes the ordinary from the truly remarkable. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels ranging from three to five stars, and repeatedly within the Center Hotels chain, I must observe that while some gestures of comfort are offered, fundamental aspects remain overlooked. Reception: Pleasant and efficient. Special mention goes to Olga, whose professionalism and attentiveness merit a full 10/10 – many could learn from her example. Room: Appropriately sized, with very good acoustic insulation, ensuring a restful stay. Bathroom: Rather small, almost challenging in its layout. It lacked a towel rail, and the overhead shower was in urgent need of maintenance. Cleanliness: Impeccable. A well-deserved 10/10. Breakfast: Unfortunately, this was the weakest point of the stay. Options for diabetics, vegans, or guests with gluten intolerance were extremely limited. The lack of consideration in both the volume and selection of background music created an atmosphere far below the expectations of a four-star hotel. Parking: Located in the basement and charged separately. Convenient, though not without its challenges. Overall Impression: While the hotel provides comfort and maintains high standards in cleanliness and reception, the absence of refinement in crucial guest experiences – particularly accessibility, dietary sensitivity, and ambience – leaves the overall impression somewhat short of its four-star promise

Good hotel, a short walk to the center. Rooms are not very large, but comfy and in good condition. Bathroom is nice as well, although I do wish the shower head had a longer hose and the floor was tilted towards the drain, instead of being completely level, because it floods a little bit. The breakfast was surprisingly good, both bacon and eggs were very tasty, large variety of other goods as well. Their parking is tiny, if you drive anything longer than 4.50 meters, you will struggle.

It is located at a great location. Minutes from the train station and a short walk from the historic center. The room and the bathroom were spacious. The check in took some time because the process is old school but other than that it was a good choice.

Very nice hotel, but why do so many hotels have steps from the reception area to the elevators? There are only six, so most people should be able to lift their cases, or I'm sure the helpful hotel staff would help It's not a problem if you use the underground car park, but the car park itself is tighter than a two dollar watch and the steep ramps are a real clutchbuster! Unless you drive a small car, or are good at judging the extremities of your vehicle I would park elsewhere Room was very nice and AC worked well but the shower drain couldn't cope with the amount of water coming from the shower so I had to take contemplative breaks with the water turned off during my routine Breakfast was great-lots of choice and everything was fresh. Coffee machines were a little temperamental but staff soon resolved the problem after leaving enough malformed drinks next to the machine I found the flashing lights on the lifts very annoying, but I'm being a bit petty Found an interesting book with a folded page corner at breakfast. I don't read books, but maybe I should start?

The rooms are big and clean. The parking is something you need to take care especially with a big car as it has parts extremely narrow and it’s 21eur/day. They don’t have irons in the room or to borrow which is something I have never encountered in other 4* hotels. They basically make you buy the ironing service. The breakfast is ok, could be room for improvement. The center area is about 15’ walk away.

Great central location. Walking distance to most places. The hotel itself was lovely, all the staff very attentive and helpful. We had interconnecting rooms on level 5 and had complimentary access to the level 6. The rooms were spacious for three people and sofa bed was very comfortable. The views of the mountain, city and Alhambra were so worth it. A beautiful place to have breakfast and snacks later in the day. Thank you to the chefs who made my egg Benedict most mornings, it was delicious. My daughter loved the pancakes and my husband the omelettes. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again should the opportunity arise. Thank you to all the team at Meliá. This was my favorite hotel stay of my 2 week Spain trip. Nice spacious and super clean room, modern and stylish. Nice lobby area. Great location, quiet road and walking distances to tons shops and the old cathedral. My favorite part of the hotel was their happy hour as we had executive lounge access and the views were 😍. You can see the Alhambra clearly from the rooftop lounge. Highly recommend this place if you come to Granada.

Good hotel at a great location. Located near all tourist sites and shopping area. Great restaurants within walking distance. There is a pharmacy and small supermarket next door. We had the deluxe room with king bed. The decor in the room is appealing however some of the decor quality is not great wondering how long these will last before needing to be replaced. The room faces the Main Street but didn’t have noise issue at night with windows closed. Shower with good water pressure. Staff were good, spoke good English. The breakfast is average, we booked with breakfast because of ongoing promotion and got a good deal. Overall a good hotel, we will stay again.

We stayed at the Meliá Granada in September 2025 for four nights as a couple, choosing a Level room. The overall experience was smooth and very comfortable. Our compact room felt modern, freshly renovated, and quiet enough for good rest. There is no gym at the hotel, despite some older websites still mentioning one. The official pages are correct—there simply isn’t a fitness space. That was the only real downside for me, and it would be nice if Meliá added a yoga or exercise room in the future. Most of our meals were outside the hotel, but breakfast in the Level lounge was excellent. I really appreciated the atmosphere there—perfect for a quiet hour of emails with coffee or simply enjoying the panoramic views across the city and the Alhambra. In the evenings, the lounge offered cocktails and, to my surprise, also non-alcoholic options like alcohol-free gin, which I thought was a great touch only to be surpassed if they would also offer non-alcoholic cava as a standard. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable, both in the room and in the lounge, and the seating setup in the lounge made it easy to do some remote work. Service throughout was consistently excellent: quick, attentive, and at the extraordinary high standard I’ve come to expect from MELIÃ. As Platinum guests, we felt warmly welcomed right from the start. The hotel’s location is hard to beat, right in the city center, with almost everything walkable. Parking is available next door in a public garage with reserved spaces (attention: only for small to normal-sized cars); I paid €20 per night, which was fine and convenient enough for driving into the city. What really makes this property stand out is the hospitality and service quality from the Level staff and the Level lounge. The views from the terrace are spectacular, and for anyone considering a stay, I would say the lounge access is well worth it. Overall, this was an excellent base for exploring Granada, with polished service, strong Wi-Fi, and a unique lounge experience. The absence of a gym is the only real miss, but if you value views, central location, and a relaxed atmosphere, Meliá Granada is a great choice.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my 7-year old son and it was the perfect set up for experiencing Granada. We had a Levels room and that is what made our trip so special. With this room type, you have access to the Levels Lounge which has an absolutely stunning view of the Alhambra and Granada. This was the base we came back to several times a day for breakfast, snacks, drinks and nibbles. This city is easily walkable and we had a hammam experience at Hammam Al Andalus, a private tour of the Alhambra and saw a flamenco show and was able to have the best experience of what Granada has to offer while also having a modern, well designed, perfectly located hotel, lounge and room to come back to to rest and recharge in between. Alexandra in the Levels reception is an absolute gem. So helpful and proactive. She made our stay truly special.

My stay at Meliá Granada was truly exceptional – one of the best hotel experiences ever. The staff's warmth, excellent amenities, fantastic Level Lounge, and stunning views were all top-notch. I upgraded to a Level premium room, and when I desired a better view, the staff kindly offered a Junior Suite upgrade. This was the best decision of our week; the views were incredible! Huge thanks to The Level team, especially Alessandra and Andrea, for their outstanding care. Every detail was perfect. Meliá Granada felt both luxurious and approachable. I highly recommend it and will definitely return! A summer highlight!
Adrian T — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its central location made it perfect for exploring the city entirely on foot — no car or public transport needed. The service at The Level on the 6th floor was outstanding; the team was eager to share local recommendations, which truly enhanced our experience. Breakfast at The Level came with spectacular views, and the air conditioning worked perfectly (contrary to what a recent review suggested). I highly recommend upgrading to The Level package- it offers nearly all-day access to drinks and a tempting selection of snacks and tapas, which was especially welcome in the summer heat.

Nestled in the heart of Granada, Hotel Granada Centro Navarrete offers a cozy and unpretentious retreat for travelers seeking comfort without breaking the bank. With streamlined rooms featuring parquet floors and private bathrooms, guests can enjoy modern amenities like free Wi-Fi and access to a shared fridge. The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing one furry companion per room, making it an ideal choice for those traveling with pets.
The hotel is centrally located and very affordable. The rooms were comfortable – although there was no fridge, it didn’t really affect our stay. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Manuel, who gave us great tips to find our way around the city. We’d definitely come back!

Great budget hotel right in the heart of Granada. Easy walk to everything you need! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Good to have a vending machine at reception for drinks & snacks. Room spacious & comfortable with a powerful shower. Point off for noisy bathroom door but otherwise a fab stay! Defo recommend!
Jo D — Google review
Clean, simple rooms, nice bathroom, good location and friendly staff. The reception is staffed 24h and will assist if you need anything. This hotel was perfect for my business trip.
Maria H — Google review
We stayed in the Granada centro hotel and we fully enjoyed the room and the services we received. Manuel at reception was very kind, sharing tips/best places we could see and where to eat delicious food! He was very welcoming and explained very well what the hotel can offer. They even kept our luggage the day after, which was very helpful. The location was in the centre and close to both bus stop and shops. Despite of being in the centre we could not hear the noise outside. The room was just perfect. We will come back for sure! Thank you

Traditional style hotel with excellent service and friendly staff. The room is clean and bed is comfortable, everything you needed for a basic hotel room with only 66 EUR a day. Within 10min walking distance to the city centre.

I arrived from Malaga by bus and stayed for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My single room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Granada, ECO Hostel stands out as a beacon of sustainability and comfort. This eco-friendly haven offers a variety of accommodations, from cozy private rooms to shared dorms, all designed with recycled materials and energy-efficient lighting. Guests can unwind in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying the on-site café that serves delicious bites. The hostel's prime location allows easy access to iconic attractions like the Alhambra and Albaicin’s charming streets.
Pretty sick hostel. Staff are amazing and friendly. Shout out to Meg! Definitely would come back. Recommend the hike to Sierra Nevada led by Marguerite! They have family dinner nights including paella and tapas. No complaints
Andre L — Google review
I absolutely would recommend the ECO Hostel for anyone traveling solo. I stayed in the dorms with cabin beds, which gave me a little bit more privacy. It was one of my first hostel experiences and it really broke the ice for me. Shout out to the lovely volunteers - Meg, Marguerite, Nelli, Hana and all the others - who bring the atmosphere together so well, also the dinners that they make are delicious😋. I had breakfast included which was pretty good as well.
Fanni E — Google review
Everything functions as expected. The room was spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed, clean shower and bath, and a well-designed common area. The café bar downstairs offers drinks and breakfast, adding convenience and atmosphere. The overall style is modern and tasteful—among the best hostels I’ve experienced. I appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a four-person dorm. The only drawback was the mattress: too soft and prone to sinking, which may affect sleep quality for some.
Steve L — Google review
I stayed at ECO Hostel because the reviews mentioned it was both social and a good place to get some work done. And that turned out to be true! They organize a family dinner every evening for €10 with different dishes each time, and there’s almost always free sangria on the fourth floor (where you also get a great view of the city). The ground floor and the back stairway are beautifully decorated. A small detail, but one I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend adding breakfast for €4.50, since you get a proper barista coffee and several options to choose from like bread with hummus, eggs, or yogurt with chocolate muesli. For my fellow digital nomads: the Wi-Fi wasn’t always perfectly stable, which made meetings a bit tricky. But outside of that it worked fine. Most of the staff were really friendly, especially the English guy and the slightly older woman. Unfortunately there was one girl who seemed unhappy to be there, and several guests mentioned the same thing: if you didn’t speak Spanish, she could be quite short or rude. I had a similar experience myself. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm with capsule-style bunks, which was great if you get a bottom bed, but just a heads-up: the top ones are really high! Even with those small things, I’d still give this hostel 5 stars mainly for the free sangria and the fun atmosphere!
N V — Google review
We love this place! We are older than typical guests one imagines for hostel, but strikes the perfect balance on all the dimensions that we care about. Clean, friendly, easy to use, great location, super interesting vibe!!
Jgmf B — Google review
What a great place. The vibes are immaculate - beautiful art of all kinds, chill spaces. The staff were awesome - we enjoyed talking to all of them, watching them do their co-working thing. Socially, they plan little happy hours (a free Sangria), community dinners, activities. Seemed like a great way for the mostly-young and very global crew to spend some time in fantastic Granada. Good coffee, good breakfast options (for Spain). We are Gen Xers with a teenager and it was great for all of us. The rooms are clean and comfy. The location is also excellent, right on the Gran Via, walkable to everything, much more open than the denser Albaicín and all the wonderfulness higher up. Easy parking a few blocks away if you need that, lots of taxis up and down the Gran Via. Highly recommended.
Joe J — Google review
Would definitely recommend!! Such a beautiful hostel, the common area was such a welcoming space with a great view. The volunteers were so welcoming and made the best dinners and Sangria. Really easy to meet people.
Sophie L — Google review
It was a wonderful experience. The vibe, the location everything was a pleasure. The crew at the place were also so welcoming and nice, especially the guy James, made my experience one I will remember:)

Hostel
Nestled in the heart of Granada, Granada Old Town Hostel is a charming and unassuming Andalusian townhouse that offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The hostel features simple dorms, mixed or female-only rooms, as well as twin and quadruple rooms. Guests can relax on the roof terrace, use the guest kitchen, or catch up on emails in the loft with a shared computer.
Very nice staff, easy check in and out. Place is kept clean, although some areas are a bit run down. I was in 4 woman dorm, top bunk, with two others. The ladder hurts to go up and down, but felt sturdy. Nice to have the lamp and shelf next to the bed, but there wasn't an outlet. I enjoyed chilling up in the top floor and outside. Kitchen was sizable and had what I needed for basic meals. Location is on a quiet street, central.

We were left without accommodations due to a country-wide blackout in Spain and were super lucky to have found this hostel that took us in last minute and opened an emergency room. Spacious rooms for a great price! Toilets were sparkling clean and the owners were super friendly and kind. 10/10 would recommend this hostel to anybody!!!

Although I only stayed one night here, my experience at this hostel was excellent! it is centrally located, safe, comfortable and very clean, which I truly appreciated. I loved my stay here and would stay longer next time! Mercedes, the lady at reception is incredibly kind and sweet, making you feel right at home. She also provides a map and suggestions for exploring Granada.
Aubrey P — Google review
Mercedes (the owner) is an angel, and funnily enough the stress is Angel. I arrived after 3 terrible nights in other hostels, and I felt so held here, she is the most beautiful soul and she goes above and beyond so that you feel at home. This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at because of her, such a beautiful Soul. It's quiet, peaceful and the people who seem to be attracted here are respectful and kind. I have had 3 nights of the best sleep because I felt so at ease. The facilities are lovely and clean and plentiful, the location is perfect, the service is out of this world and the price is so good. I cannot thank and recommend highly enough. Thankyou xxx Samantha x

We stayed here for two nights. Honestly, I don’t understand how this hostel received such high ratings! And we sadly choosed this place based on un accurate reviews 😔 The dormitory room was very basic, with old and noisy beds. The storage lockers were too small to fit my belongings. The only positive thing I can say about this hostel is the cleanliness—it was indeed clean. However, the bathrooms were old and uncomfortable to use. We stayed on the second floor and couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep because of constant noise from the room above us. Also, the ladders for the bunk beds were very narrow and hurt your feet if you’re not careful. Unfortunately, this was the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.
Ehsan A — Google review
What a great experience at this hostel! The staff Mercedes and her husband were so friendly and helpful! I had to come a day later than planned and arrived late at night and they were very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and good size, with lockers included. The location is amazing! Right in the centre of the old town and great value for money. I will definitely stay again and recommend this to any other travellers visiting the beautiful city of Granada! Hasta pronto 😁
