Coffee shop
Caffè Florian, established in 1720 as "Alla Venezia Trionfante - In Venice Triumphant," is an iconic 18th-century cafe that has hosted a myriad of distinguished guests throughout its history. This elegant establishment has been frequented by noblemen, intellectuals, and artists such as Carlo Goldoni and Casanova.
Cute cafe with a lot of history. Prime seating outside in the square. Drinks are 15 euro each+ Dessert is 20 euro each+ Cover fee 7 euro each While it seems crazy, it makes sense given the location, included music by extremely talented violinist and celloists, and because people average one drink and sit there for an hour. Great spot to listen to great music, absorb the art of the square, and escape the heat!
Albert K — Google review
Nice cafe with a lot of history. It’s had a lot of famous guests through its doors and has been in continuous operation since 1720’s. Our experience was a pleasant one, we decided to sit outside due to the good weather conditions and the live music that was playing and managed to get a view of St.Marks Square from our table. Thing to note is that you do have to pay a charge for siting outside while the music is playing of €7 per person. I feel this is a little steep as a small family that is seeking to attend could end up paying nearly €30 before they have even ordered anything. We ordered two cocktails at €24 and €25 each along with a cappuccino which cost €12 and the waiter brought complimentary crisps and water for the table. This added with the €14 music charge resulted in a total of €75. A little expensive for what we had but with the atmosphere and location the cost of the drinks can be expected. We were served quickly and after our order was taken it arrived about 10 minutes later. When we arrived there were only about 2-3 tables available so it was somewhat crowded. We ventured inside to where the small rooms were located to have a look around and view the little shop which sold snacks and merchandise. The decor of the interior is very impressive and has managed to keep its charm from its beginnings it seems. If you’re after a couple of drinks while in the Square I would recommend however if you’re not directly in the area there are other places that will offer a similar experience at half the price.
N W — Google review
Yes the atmosphere is nice, yes the location is good and music amazing. But I still think that the prices are too high for that. Also it would be good to say in advance that during summer they have other kind of tiramisu and not the classic one. Generally it was good, but not worth 42€ for one drink and dessert. You can just sit nearby and still listen the same music for free.
Taisiia D — Google review
Such a delightful place that looks really grand! Delicious food and sweet treats! The cappuccino was incredible! Highly recommend despite the hefty bill. ("When in Venice"... right?)
Wolfshot_k — Google review
A must when you go to Venice! It is a 7 euro cover charge per person for the music. But worth it for the vibes at least just one time ahha the Apple tart was the best pastry I’ve ever tried! And I just got some tea to go along with it. The music was nice and the cafe was beautiful. It was like 65 euros for 2 teas and a pastry so make sure you come knowing that this will be the most expensive cup of coffee or tea you’ll ever have. Haha
Monserrath F — Google review
Caffè Florian in San Marco Square is one of those rare places where history, elegance, and atmosphere blend into an unforgettable experience. The moment you step inside, you’re transported to another era—the interior is refined, romantic, and steeped in Venetian grandeur, with gilded details and antique charm that make simply sitting there feel special. The live music adds a magical touch to the setting. Listening to the ensemble play as the piazza glows outside is nothing short of enchanting—truly the soundtrack of Venice. As for the treats, the "Sunrise Cake" was absolutely delightful—fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced. And the signature "Florian Spritz" is a must-try: refined, refreshing, and unique, a perfect Venetian indulgence. While most offerings shine, the chocolate cake was a rare miss for me—surprisingly flat in flavor compared to the rest and slightly overbaked. Despite that small hiccup, Caffè Florian remains a timeless Venetian icon. Come for the beauty, stay for the music, and savor the flavors that make this historic café so special. A quintessential Venice experience.
Christos I — Google review
When in Venice, might as well sit at their square and enjoy the live music and drinks- their Prosecco was best. The evening musicians do have their varieties, and take requests where possible for discretionary 20 euros. Seeing they had clarinet, violin, piano and bass, I requested for Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin but sadly this was not possible. Still enjoyed listening to many of their music. Went back on our last day during daytime, did not disappoint.
Rie R — Google review
Came here to experience one of the oldest coffeehouses in the world, operating since 1720. We sat inside, where there’s a cover charge of €7 per person. There’s a live orchestra playing outside, and although we could hear a little of the music from our seats inside, we couldn’t really see them perform. The drinks are on the steeper side — I ordered an €16 cold coffee cream (Frozen Florian) and was surprised to see it was about the size of my palm. Nevertheless, it’s worth visiting this café at least once in your life for the experience, though I probably wouldn’t come back a second time.

Pasticceria Tonolo is a charming bakery in Venice, Italy, known for its delectable pastries, baked treats, and cakes. It's a popular spot for coffee and breakfast pastries, including cream puffs and traditional Venetian sweet treats. The quaint operation is always bustling with tourists and locals due to its reputation for quality offerings at reasonable prices.
The cafe is famous for the cream puffs and rightfully so. They are perfectly tasty and reasonably sized so you can try several. It is a very classic and simple dessert which I do appreciate and love. Pistacchio and dark chocolate were my favorite and only whipped cream was less interesting because of the crunchy sugary glaze on top. There’s certainly a crowd here so you won’t get immediate service even when Venice is devoid of tourists. They work so quickly though, you probably won’t have to wait for too long anyway, just don’t get scared of the long line and a bit of a screaming match to order at the counter.

Just adding to the pile of good reviews because the HYPE. IS. REAL. When you walk in and have no idea what's going on and everyone is doing things you know you've stumbled across something truly local and unique. And does it deliver. Just absolutely anything you get here is just good. It's some black magic dust but it's true. The highlight was the cream puffs, which isn't overly sweet allowing all the subtle flavours to come through. Surprisingly the croissant sandwich I had to double back to notice it was baked with cheese. So much subtle flavour. Well worth weathering the storm to get to. Despite being a bit out of the way
Shuwei Z — Google review
The chantilly cream puff is amazing: light cream inside with soft but crisp outside. Personally, I didn’t like the sugar on top because it felt a bit too sweet. I also had the chocolate roll. It was definitely super rich with chocolate but I think a bit too sweet.
Michelle L — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at your shop! Everything was great — the desserts were absolutely delicious, must try rum cake and pistachio puff pastry
Marta-Anna Y — Google review
Def lives put to the hype! If you like your pastries not too sweet, get the pistachio cream puff. One of my fav desserts/pastries I’ve had in Italy so far! Espresso was great. Also had a ham croissant that I’d probably pass on tho (a little too salty).
Rob W — Google review
The best local place to have fresh pastries with coffee. All pastries 1.6 euro. Eat and pay after policy. Fast, understanding and mind staff
Deniz Ö — Google review
Its interesting as its all people stand up and eat their food. There is no space for sitting. But food is delicious. The best Tiramisu and croasant with pistachio we ever had😍 to all I recommending visit this place
Marek — Google review
Perhaps there is a better pasticceria in Venice, but I haven't found it. This is a traditional pasticceria: you stand to drink your coffee and eat your pastry on the counter top. When I win the lottery, I'll go to Venice for a month, and work my way through the entire beautiful display, enjoying the theatre of it, and admiring the skills of the inestimable ladies serving.

Nestled in the charming San Polo neighborhood of Venice, Niki Bar is a delightful spot for those seeking a relaxed dining experience. This cozy eatery exudes a homely vibe, making you feel right at home as you enjoy their scrumptious breakfast and brunch offerings. With its inviting pink and white decor, it’s no wonder that this hidden gem attracts both locals and visitors alike. Niki Bar specializes in lighter fare, perfect for health-conscious diners.
Stumbled on this place while looking for a break from the usual croissant breakfast, and it totally hit the spot. I had an omelette stuffed with balsamic red onions, avocado, and spinach, served with fresh greens. My son had avocado toast with smoked salmon, and they didn’t skimp on the salmon. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. Great coffee, fresh-pressed juices, cozy vibe. Just note there’s a €1.50 cover charge per person — still totally worth it.
Marie-Soleil C — Google review
We were looking for a place that served American breakfast and stumbled across this spot. I got the avocado toast with egg and my husband got the carbonara. We got what we wanted - good service and good food
Siena P — Google review
We were very satisfied with the breakfast. We had scrambled egg and avocado toast, along with black tea. The taste of the avocado and eggs was excellent, and the tea was the best we’ve had in Europe. They brought a small teapot and for €3 we could enjoy three cups of tea – I can say we had more than enough! The service was also fast. The staff’s English wasn’t perfect, but we managed to communicate. Definitely recommended 👍
Zehra S — Google review
During our trip through Italy, we visited Niki Bar, and I highly recommend it! There's a large selection of freshly squeezed juices. The prices are reasonable. The food was delicious. Two very nice ladies were attentive to our requests and served us. If you want a quiet place, this is definitely the place (we were there during the week). One minor criticism: The women's restroom could use a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness and amenities.

Fastest meal we got in Venice! Gluten Free options and dairy free (soy) milk for coffee if needed.

The best breakfast I had, so fresh from the bread to the eggs amazing, mom and pops kind of food , you must try it when in Venice

We ate breakfast there, and it was beautiful the food tasted wery delicious and it wasn’t that loud so you could talk to each other, the lights were good placed so the ambiente was good, unfortunately it was only one room so everything was a bit small, all in all a good place to eat breakfast.

Nestled along the picturesque canal, Crepes House by PePe is a charming little gem that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. This delightful creperie specializes in an impressive variety of both sweet and savory crepes, catering to all tastes with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options available. The vibrant rainbow decor adds a whimsical touch to this cozy nook, which is often bustling with eager patrons lining up for their delicious creations.
Absolutely delicious crepes with a kind and friendly owner and staff. We loved them so much we came to eat here twice in our 3 day stay in Venice. Both the sweet and savoury crepes were absolutely delicious, they were a hit with a Nutella loving kid, a meat eater and a vegetarian. Everyone from the family had multiple options to choose from and the crepes were healthy, tasty and filling. They were also reasonably priced. So we had the Salernitana for the vegetarian option, the Washington for the meat one and the Banana Joe for the sweet option - all delicious. Just be careful if you are eating outside - the seagulls are quick and hungry :) 100% recommend!
Nia O — Google review
Absolutely amazing place for breakfast in Venice! We’ve been there twice already during our stay, and tomorrow — our last day — we’re definitely going back again. The pancakes are delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and have a real Italian touch. The espresso is perfect, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Ivon N — Google review
The crepes are delicious, both the savory ones and the sweet ones. I also love the decor of the shop. It was lucky that we made it before heading to Burano, given that we didn't stay long in Venice.
PigeonBox. M — Google review
This was near our hotel. Lots of choices of sweet and savory crepes. We got 3 sweet and 1 savory. Service was fast. You order and then he calls out your order. Only a few seats inside. Stand to eat outside or take it to go. Didn’t get any good photos because we were traumatized the night before when a seagull ripped pizza out of my husband’s hands. This shop is great ❤️ and warns every single customer about the seagulls so we stayed near the wall so the seagulls couldn’t dive down and grab anything.
Christina N — Google review
Crêpes House by Pepe was a fantastic stop during our trip! We tried both savory and sweet crêpes, and they were all freshly made, delicious, and super satisfying. The variety on the menu was great, and the prices were very reasonable. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a sweet treat, this place is totally worth checking out!

This is a must visit spot when you are in Venice. The owner is such a nice guy, with great stories to tell, and plenty of pictures on the wall of his travelsand life. He is very nice, speaks good English, and makes great crêpes and coffee! We got a sweet crêpe and a savory crêpe, and we had to go back because they were so good.
Jonathan H — Google review
Affordable, delicious, filling with multiple vegan options. No tables, only takeaways. Be careful with seagull’s who will try to steal your crepes.
Jua L — Google review
Absolutely delicious crêpes, best I've had outside my own kitchen! Crepes Hause by PePe in Venice is a hidden gem. They offer both meat and vegan options, sweet and savoury, something for everyone. I had the Washington Vegan and absolutely loved it! The crêpe itself was soft like a cloud, and the flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. This has become my go-to spot every time I’m in Venice. Highly recommended! ✨✨✨

Seafood restaurant
La Palanca is a popular spot on Giudecca, where locals gather for coffee in the morning and drinks during aperitivo hour. At lunchtime, the restaurant transforms into a bustling eatery serving exceptional seafood dishes. The menu features a variety of seafood antipasti, pasta with squid and artichokes, and grilled Adriatic fish. The atmosphere is that of a neighborhood bar, with cheerful back rooms and sought-after tables by the Giudecca canal.
We just arrived from Rome while I am very disappointed with the food there but this place recovered me from that experience. What a great pasta! And the sea food, all the sauce and sides of food and the fish plate … all amazing.
Shirin D — Google review
I would give 10 stars if I could! 🌟 The atmosphere and the food were amazing. This place is popular for a reason, so having a reservation is recommended. We found it spontaneously and still managed to get a table inside. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and the food took us to the heaven and back! It was by far the most delicious food we tried in Venice. The mixed starter was so good and then they topped it for me with a simple pasta with tomato sauce. I say simple, but it was absolutely delicious! If you can make something so simple taste so delicious, you definitely know what you are doing. 🍝 My husband has ravioli with fish and was also super impressed. Regards and big thank you to the whole crew there! You made our day. It’s worth it to come back to Venice just to eat at this place again. ❤️❤️❤️
Maria T — Google review
La Palanca, Giudecca, sits by its namesake vaporetto stop with views across the canal. A daytime trattoria and evening cicchetti bar, it’s beloved by locals for its straightforward cooking and fair prices, though it’s had its share of international press. I settled under the wooden beams for a final fish lunch and trusted the barman’s choice: grilled tuna, crusted in toasted sesame and drizzled with balsamic. Nutty, savoury, sharp-sweet – simple, deftly timed, and perfectly judged. Light, unfussy Venetian cooking at its best, with views to match. 8.5/10.
Loo Y — Google review
Amazing place ! The view on Venice and the tables by the sea are really beautiful. Service is impeccable with smiling and funny waiters. And the food is really impressive: tasty and original, from the starters to the dolci ! Best sardine pasta i’ve had. Thank you for this experience !
Hadrien C — Google review
There is something so special about La Palanca. Beyond the incredible food, it’s the genuine service and the ambiance, where tourists and locals rejoice, that makes it a true treasure. We’ve been in Venice for 3 days and after seeking more central (near San Marco) / mainstream options on all the “where to go lists” - it was La Palanca that stood out above the rest. They were also incredibly attentive to allergies / intolerances, which goes a long way. 10/10 would recommend for the friendly service, location, and fantastic food.
Mikey S — Google review
We came here as we heard that this was a great place to have lunch. It will require you to take the vaporetto from the main island over, but the trip is completely worth it as you can dine waterside with Venice in view. Of note, sometimes waves will breach the side of the walkway. The restaurant has set up wooden boards as well as elevated crates beneath some tables to prevent your shoes from getting wet. This is not a big issue, and in fact we had a good laugh when it happened to us. THE FOOD HERE IS STELLAR. Both my partner and I agree that this is likely the best dining establishment we ate during our 2-day stay in Venice. The seafood is extremely fresh, the staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive. This dining establishment focuses on food and customer service. We at no point felt rushed as we did on the main island. We started off with the fish platter which came with whipped salted cod, marinated sardines, raw tuna in olive oil, and anchovies. The whipped cod was in our opinion the best in the area. The Buffalo mozzarella with roasted eggplant was awesome. The squid ink pasta and grilled prawns were also well made and not overly salty like some other restaurants on the main island. This is a place that we will likely revisit if we are in the area again in the future.
Henry N — Google review
We absolutely loved this place! Highly recommend the tapas - local ones with cod and tuna, they were amazing, the meat was melting. And the tiramisu is one of the best I've ever had! The service was great and they kindly explained everything we were getting. And one of my favorite parts - a lot of locals were coming here :) we took a boat from Venice to eat here as a local friend recommended it to us.
Teodora P — Google review
My loveliest place in Venice. The incredible view on the row embankment, waves are welcoming under your feet but staff will give you some footrest. The stuff is fully friendly and really funny, I should say that it’s the best customer service that I’ve seen in the Venice. The atmosphere is really calm and has “la vita è bella” vibes :))) It’s not the place only for tourists, I saw a lot of locals, workers in special clothes and a little foreigners. The food was awesome and really fresh. I’ve taken an antipasti plate with fresh tuna tartar and another small fishes (18€). It was really nice. And for the dessert I had the best tiramisu (6€) in my whole life! The cream was incredible. White dry wine is good smelled and nice for taste. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Torrefazione Cannaregio is a charming café in Venice's Cannaregio district, offering a rustic-chic ambiance and artisanal, house-roasted coffees. The café's interior exudes authenticity with wooden furniture and jute bags as part of the décor. Whether seated indoors or by the canal outside, visitors can savor specialty coffee sourced from around the world at reasonable prices.
Excellent spot to go for your coffee and baked good when in Venice. It's best to go early in the morning as it starts to fill up throughout the afternoon. The service staff here are incredibly efficient and are always cleaning the few tables available so that everyone can have the chance to sit down and relax - very hard workers. Enjoy your light breakfast by the canal and soak up the sunshine before your big day of exploring!

Make sure to join the right queue ‘coz the service can be slow. Need to first order and then pay before leaving. Still dreaming about the pistachio croissant I had here. It was just the right amount of flaky and the filling was delicious. Don’t miss out!

forgot to leave a review for the place that made me fall in love with any pistachio filling! the croissants are flaky and filled, coffee tastes bold which is to our liking. love the ambiance and interior though it is quite crowded and u might have to wait longer for seats and to be attended, but staffs were great regardless and still answer to ur queries!

Simply amazing. If you are in Venice, this is the only place to get quality coffee. Our family made it a point to make it here every day while we visited. The quality of the espresso and pastries is simply unmatched. For drip, you can even pick your beans, bring it to the counter and they’ll make it for you. Pastries are fresh and when they run out, they’re gone for the day so best to get there earlier if you want to try them all. Brother got a mango smoothie and loved that as well. Friendly staff that help guide everyone through the process of ordering and then paying after you are finished. Helps make you slow down and enjoy— I loved it. The line is nonstop so I think everyone else does as well :) I love everything about Venice but would actually come back just for this coffee shop alone. 20/10 recommendation.

One of the best coffee shops I ever visited. They have great variety of different kinds of coffee beans. I tried everyone and everyone is awesome! Taste is so full of flavour. The beans are amazing quality and they are roasted perfectly. If you are coffee lover you must go here. You can also buy some beans to have this perfect coffee at home. Extremely recommended.

I’ve visited 6 coffee shops in Venice. I’m not sure to rank this top or bottom. It’s complicated and personal. I like flat whites - a rare species in this town. According to smiley barista, only here and ….Starbucks (! Ergh) make them. Great start. Lots of attention to the coffee, these guys really seem to care. But - and I’m so sad there’s a but! - the milk was, IMO, awful! The first cup I abandoned after a couple of sips as it tasted like UHT (although the carton suggested otherwise, so maybe semi-skimmed?). But I really wanted it to work - friendly people, lovely spot - so I ordered my usual, an oat flat white. I checked the carton and was a little nervous as it wasn’t a Barista version….but hey, surely it’ll be ok? This was almost undrinkable for me. I took one sip and abandoned. Thin, oversweet, horrible. I’d have been better off at Starbucks. :( I realise (1) I’m in the spiritual home country of the drink I love, so I should tread lightly (2) this was easily the cafe with most potential we visited and (3) coffee is a VERY personal thing - my undrinkable is another persons unbeatable. But for me, this place has it all, except for the milk. Oh well.

We have been here twice and I have a hard time reading it because the food and coffee is good. The style of the place is decorated to be very cute and cozy, but unfortunately, both times we have been it seems like the customer race is a little pushy and rude before they ordered and just overall made the space a little uncomfortable. The reception was a little more welcoming. I think it would be a five star, but the feelings of this place is just off. Pricing of items varies based on if it’s takeaway, eating standing at a counter or sitting down to eat. This can be hard to tell so be aware if you care. So far the cappuccinos I have had here were good and they have the best cereali and wheat croissants I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend this place. I just wish that the vibes there were more friendly.

This was a cute coffee place. The coffee was good, freshly brewed. The two flavors we took were average. The red velvet muffin was very soft and well done. The joint was cute and attracted a lot of crowd. The decor was quite unique and attractive.

Rosa Salva - San Marco is an elegant cafe and pastry shop located in Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo, offering a unique version of the fritola called fritola col buso. This delicacy is known for its airy texture from prolonged fermentation and flavorful taste from high-quality raisins. The historic bakery, established in 1870, has been mentioned by Donna Leon and offers incredibly delicious cakes and pastries crafted through six generations of experience.
This boutique hotel was great - the rooms were clean and very nice. We loved opening the windows and taking a peek out! Also attached to a delicious bakery made it very convenient for morning breakfast/coffee. Location was not bad with all of our luggages traveling from water--taxi/train. Highly recommend and would stay here again if traveling in Venice.

Great central location and neat, comfortable rooms. The air conditioning is centrally controlled so the fan can be noisy and you can't do anything. The rooms are pretty compact although you still get a good sized shower. There's an attempt to still give you a breakfast of sorts but it's not really worth it to be honest. The historic cafe next door is a great experience, delicious pastry and coffee to start a day of exploring Venice and you get a little discount for staying at the hotel.

We stopped for a coffee and air-conditioned space :). Lovely restaurant with a large selection of sweet and savory snacks. In the late morning, we had coffee and cake but came back for pasta 😋 with fish and aperol spritz. Good food at a very reasonable price, quick service, and lovely space to catch your breath while visiting San Marco.

The people behind the cafe were so rude, I do not understand italian n had problem understanding. We made 2 orders instead of combining them. This did not make them happy. There r lots of other places with good food nearby
Manjit K — Google review
At the pasticceria, part of our order was an apricot and a pistachio croissant. Each of these croissants had only a dab on top and no filling... first place that ever did this as all the other places had filling. Second, the croissants were not as fluffy as they should have been. Lastly, we paid with a 100€ bill and the cashier put the bill under the drawer where it appears they keep the big bills. She then pulls out change for a 50; we point out that we gave a 100 and she makes a remark that we're not patient since she still had to take a 50€ bill from under the drawer for our change. The point here is that she could have taken the 50€ bill when she put the 100€ bill there, so it appears that she was trying to pull a fast one.

Great food and coffee but service was horrible. We ordered a croissant 3 times and did not get it. From a hygiene perspective also quite difficult: There were pigeons IN cafeteria.

Extremely rude service. After we paid the young server said we were not allowed to sit and occupy the table after we finished eating unless we bought something else. The restaurant was not even close to full , if it was I’d understand. Not worth coming. 7:30 25th July

If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Venice, make sure to stop by Pasticceria Dal Mas, a delightful pastry shop just a stone's throw from the train station. This gem is renowned for its array of traditional sweet treats that are perfect for breakfast or an afternoon indulgence. While you're there, don't miss their delectable croissants and local specialties like zaleti and pan dei Dogi.
One of the least probable places where to have a superb food experience is 3 mins from Venice railway station, on the main (only?) route that tourists take every day. I'll ask you to trust me on this one and go to Dal Mas, one of my very favorite places in Venice to have a pastry. Their selection is very, very wide. Almost everything they sell is extremely typical of the territory. Quality is very high and the place very clean despite the constant flow of both tourists and locals. A must stop for me every time I have the pleasure to be back in Venice. Be warned that they don't have chairs but just a couple of tall, small bar tables.

My favourite arrival celebration, when I get off the train at St. Lucia. A fantastic array of beautiful baked goods and also a nice collection of savouries, very good coffee and extremely friendly service. I’ve been coming here for eons and always look forward to coming back.

We got an Americano which tasted fine but the shop was too crowded and there was not really a clear sign for where does the line starts. A large Americano costs 4.5 Euro which I think it is normal given the price points in Venice

So crowded, but have amazing food. You should try chocolate and pistacchio croissant, and definitely the hot chocolate. Recommend it!

Best croissant in Venice! Had an espresso and a chocolate croissant at Pasticceria Dal Mas — absolutely amazing! The croissant was warm, flaky, and filled with rich chocolate, and the espresso was perfectly balanced and smooth. The place has a real local vibe, busy but friendly, and everything looked delicious. Definitely a must-stop in Venice for coffee and pastry lovers!

What a great place to have a quick, yet AWESOME bite! It was our last minute choice before heading to the airport, and we are so glad we picked thar place. The ladies at the café are very efficient and quick. Some people take it as "rudeness," but it's just a grab and go (or stand and eat) place. So, they are just trying to give fast service. Anyways, highly recommended.

Best cappuccino we had in Italy by far!!! The pastries are also delicious 🤤. Opened early, which was great as well, many other coffee bars are closed. Price was also fair! Highly recommended!!!!👌🏼☕️🤎🤍🤎

Tourists, beware! This place charges more for tourists and prices aren’t displayed anywhere. You get cheaper prices for locals and massively inflated prices for tourists. I paid €15 for a pizza cupcake, two cannoli, an almond croissant and a drink. Not a single item was worth it. The pizza cupcake was downright terrible: dry, undercooked dough, bitter tomato purée and a small piece of melted mozzarella. It tasted like something that should’ve been left in the freezer aisle. The almond croissant was dry and the cannoli had gone soft, no crisp shell, just limp very sad pastries. A total tourist trap. Save your money and your appetite
Thomas W — Google review
I’ve only been here to this wonderful establishment to eat the very delicious pastries, but for those I can only say these are the yummiest pastries in town! We got a take out of a dozen and they were all delicious. My personal favorite is one that looks like a cream puff but has a lite whipped cream texture filling and a hint of maybe orange, but just enough to make it taste amazing. We went back several times over our two week stay in Venice and I think our group thought it was all good and tasty.

Unless you speak Italian, DO NOT COME HERE- you will be scammed. I’ve been to many honest and wonderful local pastries while in Venice where I’ve had coffee at the counter. I came here on my last day because it was closest to my hotel and was charged absurd costs. 6 euros for a small orange juice and 4.50 euros for a latte?!? Having a latte at the counter at similar pastries has cost me 2euros max. I also Had a dry mini croissant for 2e which was terrible. None of it was worth it. Dishonest and awful discriminatory service. Stay away.

Glad I stumbled upon this darling, traditional and delicious pastry shop this week in Venice! What a delight- after a long day of walking we needed some coffee and sweets. Highly recommend the merengue / pavlova & RUM SOAKED PASTRIES. Dear lord, fill me up with this devilishly good treat- I want to sin! These little odd shaped pastries are to die for. The cafe is pretty much standing room; so be prepared to eat your bites at the counter; don’t fret, there is AC. We had nice service and we loved the treats we bought. I will repeat; ask for the rum soaked pastries.

There's a special joy that one can experience when entering pasticceria Nobile. The counter is filled with pastries that look like they are just waiting to be eaten. But more importantly, there are trays & trays of freshly baked mini "pizza de pan", a mini pizza margherita or marinara (margherita with anchovies) that they serve warm. Perfect for a quick savory bite. If you are visiting Venice for the first time you can't miss as it's on the main way to Rialto's bridge & S. Marco's square.

Outstanding baked goods and really great coffee. The place is tiny, and it's constantly packed - locals come in, grab a couple things, drink a fast coffee, and they leave. I think we were the only ones staying there for a bit in the bar, and that wasn't even 20 minutes! So, this is not a place to sit down, but if you want a fantastic baked good and coffee, this is definitely a place to try. My advice - get their strudel, it is simply out of this world. Fantastic quality, fair prices, and really nice staff.

The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Venice, offers sophisticated rooms and suites in a palatial setting along the canal. The hotel features an elegant restaurant and terrace, providing guests with stunning views of the Grand Canal and the lagoon city. It is renowned for its enthralling vistas of iconic landmarks such as Punta Della Dogana and Santa Maria Della Salute Basilica.
Dreamy hotel in the heart of Venice. We had a Venetian suite, which looks like a fairytale room. Upon entering, we were greeted by a huge and gorgeous fresh arrangement of the most beautiful blush pink roses I have ever seen. Also, a luxurious box of chocolates in hand made paper. The bathroom included luxe Aqua di Parma amenities. The location is perfect and right on the canal. The staff members were outstanding. We also enjoyed the lobby/lounge areas and browsing through the large signature book that holds entries from all kinds of celebrities through the decades. This is a dream stay in Venice!
E.Faria — Google review
Gritty Palace is supposed to be one of the great hotels of Europe. The truth is the hotel is overrated and overpriced. The concierge was rude abrupt and sometimes gave bad information. I think some of the staff feel a bit self important. Had lunch in the restaurant I paid $60 for a chicken club sandwich on toast that was soggy. Virtually any diner in the world would have served a better Club sandwich. I would suggest that you consider other hotel options in Venice givien the very high cost of a room, which is better than average, but not great.
Saul J — Google review
The hotel is stunning, but unfortunately we were not allowed to enjoy a drink as we were not staying there. The bar was nearly empty, yet we were told it was fully booked. Even the lobby, which was completely quiet, was off-limits. Having worked extensively with luxury hospitality around the world, I find it disappointing that one cannot even have a coffee to experience and appreciate the atmosphere of the hotel. A guest coming for a coffee might well book a room on their next visit — but because of this policy and experience, they won’t.
Diego C — Google review
An outstanding hotel! We visited Venice in low season and the hotel was therefore, not too busy. The staff at this beautiful old gem are wonderful. We arrived at the hotel very early and thanks to the amazing housekeeping staff, we were able to have our room within minutes of arrival (and we're so grateful for that after a 3am start that day!). The bar with its wonderful terrace on the canal is a divine place for cocktails. We could have spent hours there just watching the world literally floating by. Our room was perfect for our short stay with a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was a dream and I recommend going down early to enjoy the peace and make the most of the attentive service. The reception team provided us with the most enjoyable check-in and check-out experiences.

We came to The Gritti Palace to begin celebrating our wedding anniversary, and from the very first moment we felt truly special. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to reception, where we were immediately seated, offered water, and informed about a wonderful surprise awaiting us. What followed was simply unforgettable – an absolute highlight that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Everything was perfect! The service was not only fast but flawless. A heartfelt thank you to the General Manager and especially to Romina at the reception – she is a true queen of her craft, with a magical ability to create memorable experiences. The next morning we were congratulated again, treated to a delightful breakfast, and sent off with such genuine care. Absolute world-class hospitality! Truly superb in every way.
Ekaterina N — Google review
I went to the Gritti palace restaurant for food and drinks. The view was phenomenal and the drinks were great. I am leaving 3 stars because there was a lady with a captive falcon there for "entertainment". Not sure what that was supposed to add to the ambience. It just made me feel sad. Such beautiful birds should be flying in the skies, not chained to someone for people's entertainment. It completely ruined my experience and left me feeling sad.
Gaytri G — Google review
Having stayed here previously and finding it to be an absolutely first-class hotel with the very best staff and service, we decided to go back for cocktails and dinner this year to celebrate my birthday. Upon entering the bar area we were informed that without a reservation we couldn’t sit on the terrace as it was full (8 tables were empty). Having left in disgust, my wife returned to just see if we could reserve a table for dinner that night. She was told “you’ve left it too late. No, sorry”. Marriott have managed to destroy this once wonderful institution by employing the rudest, least-polite staff I’ve come across. What a shambles it is now.

This place is pretty close to the train station. Their view is amazing, being close to the canal where you can watch the gondolas. Food is bad in this place - or service/interest to understand customer needs - or both. Communication was about bruschetta portions next to us in nearby table, waiter told how he made them and blaa bla bla. We maybe mistakenly read their fussy list but he didn’t care to straighten it out and in pic is what we got. Nor all happy and did’t eat it. It tasted as bad as it looks in the picture. Edit. Place owner below claims that we got what we ordered. Not really. As I stated out, we tried to get small eating like in the table next to us was (with bruschetta bread etc). The waiter didn't care to make it right though he certainly understood what we meant. And we actually like anchovies. It was not that what was bad. Everything was deep fried, cold and disgusting to eat in the portion we got.

We got to Venice very late and decided to checkout this Panini place. Unfortunately at 8:00 PM they were all out of cicchetti which we were looking forward to trying with the sandwich. I saw many other places still had them, but it is more of a early day food. With that said, we ended up getting a panini and it tasted really good, I asked for it to be toasted and the server ended up having a conversation with locals while the food was cooking, so as you can see, it got burnt. Overall, it tasted good, but the service left a lot to be desired.

The St. Regis Venice is a stylish hotel with fashionable accommodations and an elegant restaurant offering canal views from its terrace. Renowned for its association with the Biennale, the hotel immerses guests in the contemporary art scene, featuring renowned artworks and collaborations with artists. Originally opened in 1895 as the Grand Hotel Britannia, it underwent a comprehensive renovation before reopening as The St. Regis Venice, boasting impressive marble interiors and the signature St. Regis Butler service for all guests.
The moment we pulled up we were made to feel like royalty, the staff were extremely hospitable and do their jobs at the highest order. Audrey the head manager at the hotel may be one the kindest high level employees I have engaged with. The butler staff and bellmen, the bartenders and even the house cleaners have all been so kind. The design and and history of this hotel is one that is hard to match, I have stayed all over the world and I can say this is one of the best. The location is the in the heart of Venice, that’s why it’s nicknamed “the best address in Venice”. The spa and gym although smaller are extremely well done and give you everything you need. They are close to all food spots for all types of people, familys feel comfortable as well. Thank you again for the wonderful experience, it’s something our family will never forget. Sincerely ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Venice. The hotel is beautifully designed, luxurious, and perfectly located in the heart of Venice. Everything was very accessible by foot from this location. The service throughout our stay was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. While the rooms were a bit on the smaller side considering the price point, they were still very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Overall, a lovely experience and a great choice for anyone looking for a refined stay in Venice.

We came here for a few nights recently and got there right at the absolute BEST time, as the weather right before our stay was rainy and cold and on our date of departure, it was cloudy and cold.  This hotel is amazing to enjoy during nice, sunny weather!! Sitting outside overlooking the Grand Canal while enjoying wine, bubbles, cocktails, or even morning breakfast was something we enjoyed multiple times per day! Since we had never been to Venice we didn’t know how to get from the train station to this hotel, but a quick call with the concierge staff helped immensely!  They literally directed us via phone to exactly where to go, which private boat taxi stand to go to.  Once our boat pulled up, they were all waiting outside on the dock for us!  They helped us off the boat, welcomed us to the St Regis, and immediately took our luggage from the boat.  (FYI – Be sure to budget for these private taxis, they’re rather expen$ive!  This one from the train station was 88eu.  One from Burano to here is about 170eu, and one from here to the VCE airport is 160eu) A staff member took us straight to check-in, where a nice young lady immediately checked us in, providing all the necessary information we needed and then a butler took us to our room.  We had a partial Grand Canal view room, which was a slight upgrade from the basic room.  The butler reviewed the entire property with us prior to taking us to the room, such as showing us their bar, restaurant, patio, quiet room, etc.  She then took us to our room which was very nicely furnished.  The bathroom was amazing, spacious, and had heated floors!  The shower was huge, with a seat and large bath sheets in the shower area hanging on towel warmers.  The bed was very comfy and the linens were perfect. This property is located perfectly to see so much from it as well as be able to walk nearly anywhere on the island in about 20 minutes max.  Of course, they have their private large boat dock on the Grand Canal, where you can get a water taxi to take you anywhere you want also.  All the shopping you might want to do (Prada, Tiffany, Armani, etc) is a very quick few minutes walk away. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.  Their concierge service is 24x7 and they are a wealth of information.  They are busy, so fortunately there were always two at the counter, but plenty of others you could talk to if you had a question or a need.  The onsite restaurant and bar were excellent, and there are numerous other dining and drinking options within a short walking distance. This was an amazing experience, one we’ll definitely want to come back and enjoy again!

They say it’s the best hotel in Venice and for good reason. Can’t tell you how many people told me to stay here and not consider any other option and they were absolutely right! The location is amazing, the rooms are extremely roomy, comfortable, and private. And the butler service is on another level- starting from weeks before you arrive and throughout the entire stay. We booked a private water “taxi” from the airport to the hotel via our butler ahead of time and it was magical driving through the Grand Canal ahead of our arrival. I also asked for an assortment of fresh flowers and balloons to adorn the room to surprise my wife- they did not disappoint and I was shocked they didn’t charge more once I saw what I had paid for. As an important anecdote, my wife lost one of her rings on the transfer in and they did not quit until they found it. They took us to the hotel and told us not to worry- they found it and delivered it to the hotel the next day with a beautiful note. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such tenacious service with actual follow up from a hotel and their connections in my lifetime. Truly next level. Don’t hesitate to book this place.

An unforgettable stay at The St. Regis Venice One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. And we’ve stayed at many great hotels! Our luxurious suite had beautiful rooftop views, and every detail of the property radiates elegance — from the art-filled lobby to the serene courtyard and canal-front setting. The staff made our stay effortless and genuinely warm, anticipating every need with grace and charm. We also had an excellent dinner at Gio’s Restaurant, where the food, service, and Grand Canal views created a perfect Venetian evening. A truly world-class experience — The St. Regis Venice defines timeless luxury. We couldn’t be more impressed.

The setting is breathtaking, breakfast on the terrace by the Grand Canal is truly one of Venice’s most beautiful moments. The location couldn’t be better: it’s central to all desirable places. Few important notes: 1. Our Grand Canal View room was lovely, but not all rooms have the Japanese WC or douchette, so request it in advance. Despite asking, only two of our three rooms were equipped, which was disappointing. 2. It’s also important to know that the hotel is accessible only by water taxi, both for check-in and check-out. Plan this carefully, we were charged €100 for the departure ride, which the hotel never clarified beforehand. And the wait for the taxi water was around 20mins, luckily we didn’t have a flight to catch! 3. St. Regis Venice is part of Marriott Bonvoy, make sure you register your membership and double check upon your checkout that you are getting all your points for your stay. The hotel itself feels slightly tired and would benefit from more care and attention. Service was inconsistent, and the layout is confusing; guests would appreciate clearer guidance upon arrival. Still, with its extraordinary location and water-side breakfast experience, St. Regis Venice remains one of the most memorable places to stay in the city, even if it needs a little more love to live up to its name. And after visiting the other well known competitors (there’s only few of them), we were so glad we chose St. Regis. Thank you St. Regis Venice Alya Almutawa

Best location in Venice great service especially Thomas the waiter in the dining room. Staff goes out of their way to help you navigate the streets of Venice and the restaurants. There is a free boat ride to Murano that the concierge will set up but beware you will be dropped off at the high end glass company and may spend some serious money. The room we booked was amazing with a balcony right on the grand canal if you stay at the saint regis in Venice the room is 4301. Won’t be disappointed!

A wonderful hotel just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square! It is beautifully decorated and laid out well. From the lobby to the guest rooms, it’s definitely five-star quality. We stayed in a suite with a huge balcony and sitting area that overlooks canals and other parts of Venice. Our room contained two bathrooms, a master bedroom, a huge living room, and a nice outdoor space. Upon arrival, we were given a bottle of champagne. It was a nice touch. I would recommend the hotel, but it can be very, very pricey.

Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, Venice is the ultimate choice for those seeking unparalleled luxury in the heart of La Serenissima. Located on Giudecca island, this lavish hotel boasts 96 exquisitely designed rooms and suites with breathtaking views of the lagoon. Guests can indulge in Michelin-starred dining experiences and enjoy an Olympic-sized seawater swimming pool frequented by celebrities.
Went for a drink and it was such a special experience. It felt like being on a beach holiday and nothing like Venice. It's really cool that the hotel offers transfers as that makes it so much more special. This is the best place we went to in Venice and I only wish I could afford to go more often and stay
Mark J — Google review
We had seriously considered staying at the Cipriani Hotel on a future trip to Venice, but our experience at its restaurant, Cip’s Club, changed our minds entirely. Earlier that day, Cipriani informed the hotel we were staying at about a pants-only dress code for dinner. Unfortunately, our hotel failed to tell us. When we arrived dressed in polo shirts and linen shorts—respectable for the extreme heat—we were met with rudeness and condescension by the host (possibly the manager). Instead of handling the situation with understanding, he blamed our hotel and dismissed any responsibility. This is exactly the problem: a hotel that positions itself as world-class should not rely on third parties to communicate critical policies. If you’re serious about five-star service, you don’t offload key guest expectations and then wash your hands of the consequences. After pleading due to our flight later that night, we were seated far from the dining area near the kitchen, without a dedicated waiter—despite a reservation made over a month in advance. While the food was very good and the waitstaff kind, the hospitality and guest treatment were far from what a Cipriani-branded property should deliver. True luxury means accountability, grace, and professionalism. Unfortunately, none of that was present here. We won’t be staying at Cipriani in the future.

Fantastic historic hotel in the heart of Venice. The love for this hotel is easy to understand! Wonderful staff, service, food, rooms -- and the best (and I understand biggest) pool in Venice. What a great place -- worthy of the Belmond name.

We stayed in a Junior Suite Pool View with Terrace for 4 nights. Overall, the hotel was pretty good but some things could use improvement. Hotel: The grounds are beautiful and spacious. There are lovely gardens and the pool is huge. It is very quiet by the pool, and we found it too sleepy for us. Room: Our room was spacious. There was plenty of closet space. The TV has chromecast which is nice for watching TV at night. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The bathroom was large but the actual shower was small compared to the size of the bathroom. The A/C didn't work as well as it should for a 5 star hotel. We woke up sweating every night and it never really cooled down the 4 days we were there. Service: This was the weakest area of the hotel in my opinion. No one was rude but you didn't feel the above and beyond approach you would expect from a hotel at this price point. The highlights were the pool waiters and the guys who work the boat stand. Food: The food by the pool was good. The service by the pool was slow considering the number of people working there to the number of guests. Room Service: The room service food wasn't near as good as the food by the pool or restaurant. The pasta was bland and cold. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

Was going to stay here, but unfortunately it was full (except the suites!) stayed at the Palazzo Venart instead (Excellent). Decided that still wanted to see the hotel so booked dinner in the restaurant "Oro". Took private taxi, very welcomimg on the pier, decided to have a pre dinner drink in the bar, having found it, I found the staff underwelming to say the least, took 15 mins to actually order a drink, staff appeared to studiously ignore non residents, and when ordered, it took another 10 mins to arrive. Finally left to be told that the bar and restaurnat are seperate so had to settle bill twice. Oro another matter - beyond exemplary. Sadly after the experience in the hotel, I won't be staying, as someone else said, its not the money, but the service that lets it down.

Caffe Rosso is a vibrant and trendy bar located in Dorsoduro, Venice. Its eye-catching red frontage draws in locals and tourists alike for its cocktails, coffee, and light bites. Situated in Campo Santa Margherita, a bustling area popular among students, the cafe offers an authentic glimpse into Venetian daily life. Visitors can enjoy a casual Italian breakfast with quality coffee while soaking up the atmosphere of the off-the-beaten-path piazza.
Great place! Everything in the photo costed me 10€ but sitting there was so great that I ordered another wine and get tomato chips for free 😊

There is something special about this place, this café, and this square. Yes, you can find much better coffee shops, but the atmosphere is so authentic and pleasant—it truly makes you feel Italy with all your senses. You sip your coffee in the sunny square, enjoy the beautiful weather, and watch everyday Italian life unfold—what more could you ask for? :)

Tucked away in the heart of Venice’s artsy Dorsoduro neighborhood, this charming little café has quickly become one of our absolute favorite hideaways. With its eye-catching red façade, it’s impossible to miss as you stroll through the piazza — and once you step inside (or better yet, grab a seat outside), you’ll feel like you’ve found a secret oasis. Far from the bustling crowds, this spot oozes laid-back charm and local flavor. Their small bites? Absolute gems — fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Whether you’re popping in for a morning coffee (which, by the way, is excellent) or winding down with a picture-perfect Aperol Spritz, everything here feels just right. It’s the kind of place where time slows down — where you can sit back, sip, snack, and soak in the Venetian vibes. Whether you’re people-watching in the piazza or chatting with friendly locals and travelers alike, this café is all about simple pleasures done right. It’s not just a stop — it’s an experience. Trust us, once you find it, you’ll want to return every day you’re in Venice.

I ordered hummus and an Aperol. I was extremely satisfied with both the price and the food. I’d also like to mention the very friendly waitress who gladly switched to English and brought me a lighter and an ashtray. I highly recommend this place

Definitely not recommended. The staff were very rude and unprofessional, and the service was terrible. You can only pay the bill as a single person, which makes no sense, especially if you come with friends. This place is absolutely not student-friendly and definitely not worth the money. Very disappointing experience in Venice.

when we came over and asked if we could have a seat, the waitress said okay and we sat down. she proceeded to serve 2 other customers who arrived after us and left without even acknowledging us. we raised our hand and tried to wave at her to get her attention each time she passed by, but she completely ignored us and we decided to leave without even ordering anything. the difference in service this cafe’s staff provided to us tourists and the locals was disappointing, and i would not recommend visiting this cafe.

A must go for a simple breakfast coffee with a variaty of different pastries and the authentic Italian vibe on a nice little townsquare out of the touristic part of the venice. The bathroom is in the back ally looking up to an old house which also gives it a unique feeling. Friendly staff, pay in the end at the counter by simply giving them your table number. No fancy smuck place or anything like this, just real Italian atmosphere.

La Zucca is a charming restaurant in Venice that offers a sophisticated vegetarian menu using fresh, local ingredients from northern Italy. The name "La Zucca" translates to "pumpkin," and the restaurant's signature dish is the rich and naturally sweet pumpkin pudding topped with aged ricotta cheese slivers.
One of the waiters was very warm and friendly, while the other was rather cold. The cold one told us there were no seats and asked us not to sit down. The friendly waiter, however, checked the reservation list and said there were still a few tables available, then gave us the best table in the restaurant, with a perfect view of the gondolas passing by. She was so kind that she warmed our hearts after the chill from the other waiter. The pasta was delicious, especially the dishes that featured eggplant. Stuffed mushrooms were my favorite. The beef cheek, however, was a pre-made dish. When it arrived, it was cold in the middle, clearly reheated unevenly—warm on the outside but still cool inside—making it not very tasty
Jessie Z — Google review
The waiter’s were a bit stressed, and were not quite attentive, however they were very nice and accommodating once their attention turned to us. The starters and sides were very good, everything with aubergine was great! I had the rabbit, which was slightly overcooked, but still good. The ossobucco was not great, but also not too bad. Especially if you have vegetarian/vegan people in your group. All in all decent experience!

A lovely restaurant in the middle of Venice main island. This restaurant was recommended by a my friend who lives there and he dine there often. This restaurant offers not traditional Italian cuisine and there are excellent alternatives choice in Venice. I stayed in Venice for one week this time. Even though I love seafood, I was getting tired of similar menus. The food was very tasty and maybe bigger portions for a restaurant in the island. Waiters are friendly and kind. Small problem for us was the reservation time. The restaurant has two shifts for evening reservations: at 19:30 or 21:30. Both times were not really standard dinning times for dinner in Italy. Fair prices.

La Zucca is a fantastic spot in Venice—especially if you’re vegetarian, but honestly everything on the menu is delicious. The vegetarian options are creative and flavorful (we loved the lasagna and pesto!), though the duck was also outstanding. Great wine, great food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere made for a perfect evening. The service was friendly and attentive, and we loved sitting right on the canal in such a beautiful location. The restaurant is small and traditional + very popular, with only a few tables, so it’s definitely required to make a reservation! It’s very popular for good reason. Highly recommend!
Dylan V — Google review
The service from the waiters was very unpleasant. We didn't ask for much, just had a question whether the bread was vegan, and the waitress was acting rude. Another thing that is very weird, they don't have an English menu (which is fine, but it seems that most of the costumers are tourists..). Instead, we were given a page with translations from Italian to English? Like kind of a dictionary? I think that it is an odd thing to do. When we asked the waitress to give out a recommendation and translate what's written, she did it very unwillingly. Whenever we tried to call the waiters they usually ignored us (and I saw it happening to other tables as well). The food was fine, I ordered pasta with gorgonzola, which could've been great if it was served hot. It was a bit cold but I didn't want to tell the waiters because of the attitude we were already given. The only reason we didn't leave was that we were in a hurry to go somewhere else and had to eat somewhere. The other dishes were good but not spectacular as expected.

Deceptively spacious, with both a long interior corridor with tables and a terrace area close to a canal. Food was overall good, service was normal. I like my soup/cream. Not overly expensive

What a great place! Everything was fresh, well made and delicious. Lots of vegetarian options. Great ambience, nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, especially given the quality and the central location. We had a great evening and will definitely come back

This was one of our best eating experiences in Venice. The food is so fresh and delicious, all real and homemade, and lovely to see such a creative inventive menu. We came on a busy day and had to wait for quite a while before anyone came to take our order but it was well worth it. The waiters were sweet and kind, and very interesting to talk to. The zucchini lasagna was particularly soft and lucious, and the many vegetable side dishes were delightful and rich in flavor. Really fantastic for vegetarians!! We also had a desert each and both were amazing. We felt so nourished, both in the belly and in the heart by this lovely genuine place. It is a real gem and one we look forward to returning to many times.

Perched atop Hotel Danieli, Restaurant Terrazza Danieli offers a luxurious rooftop dining experience with breathtaking views of Venice. The opulent setting provides an ideal backdrop for savoring classic Venetian cuisine while overlooking the city's iconic landmarks. Whether enjoying a romantic sunset dinner or indulging in a Sunday brunch ritual, guests can expect an elegant ambiance and a menu that artfully blends traditional Venetian flavors with international influences.
Honestly, we came for lunch and everything was perfect. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the breathtaking views made it worth every penny. The lady serving us was incredibly kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. The food was probably some of the best we had during our time in Venice.

Nice atmosphere but not extraordinary (as we expected). The food was definitely not worth the price (from a taste point of view). The one thing we both enjoyed and was really good (as taste & presentation), was the tiramisu (dessert). Furthermore the service was slow (although very kind and smiling). We kind of got tired of waiting for them getting the empty plates, etc. The bread selection (&olive oil) was very abundant though. We were getting new without ever asking for it. In sum we paid a bit less than 400 euros but had far better and tastier dinner at other places with 100- 200.

A wonderful dining experience at Restaurant Terrazza Danieli. My partner and I dined at this lovely restaurant during our week in Venice. We had a leisurely dinner which took about 2.5hrs from start to finish. Every staff member was extremely attentive and informative. The restaurant itself has spectacular views any time of day. But we preferred our evening setting with the lights of the city below. The food itself is exceptional. The red prawn appetizer was delectable. However the stars of the evening were the scallops and the pastas. Truly crave-able and delicious. We are usually light eaters but availed ourselves of all the restaurant had to offer. We will visit every time we are back in Venice.

Fabulous views over the Grand Canal. The service was good, they have an excellent sommelier. We intended to have the tasting menu but we didn't like the choices so chose from the a la carte. The food was beautifully presented but the desserts didn't taste as good as they looked. With a bottle of wine and one round of drinks our bill for 4 people was 785 euros. I recommend it for a special occasion.
Lynne T — Google review
The main appeal of La Danielle is its location — no doubt one of the best views of the Grand Canal in Venice. Unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. The terrace has plants that attract wasps, and we ended up eating surrounded by them the entire time. It was so unpleasant that we skipped dessert and coffee just to leave earlier. As for the food, it was fine but nothing remarkable, especially considering the inflated prices (which can partly be expected in Venice, but still felt excessive for the quality). Overall, the view might justify the stop for some, but I can easily understand why others would prefer to spend the same amount elsewhere for a better meal and a more comfortable

The most exceptional and technically executed meal I have experienced in Venice. The Veal medallion had many layers of surprise to it. Phenomenal meal. A special thanks to Fab who took excellent care of me.

Highlight of our trip We were thoroughly impressed with our dinner experience last night. From the moment we arrived, everything exuded elegance—from the ambiance to the attentive staff. Each dish was delightfully presented, showcasing both creativity and precision, and the flavours were just as exquisite as the plating. We had the red prawn carpaccio with crème frâiche, caviar which was exceptional. Squid ink ravioli with scorpionfish as well as the chanterelle with goats cheese risotto. Although the outside terrace was closed due to the weather, the team went above and beyond to ensure our evening was nothing short of extraordinary. The service was warm, seamless, and genuinely thoughtful. It’s rare to find a place where every detail is so carefully considered. We’ll absolutely be returning.

Beware of the seagulls here! What should have been the most amazing final night in Venice was unfortunately a let down for us. After seeing seagulls swoop down on 2 others tables and take their bread, my partner was the unfortunate victim of one seagull defecating on him - this place needs a falcon or parasols - or both. The staff really let themselves down here. They never once asked us if we were OK or offered to clean or move our table, and when you're spend €550 on a meal for two, I expect better. A lovely american girl had a Tide pen in her purse which she generously offered and we were very grateful for. The location, views and food were beautiful, however this venue needs to take some tips from the nearby St Regis who have a falcon to keep the local seagull pests in check.

It is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, offering a wide selection of milk-based and fruit-based ice creams known for their rich flavors. The gelateria's terrace provides a picturesque setting with views over the Giudecca canal, making it an ideal place to indulge in their artisanal gelato while taking in the charming surroundings.
I love this place, the view is unbeatable as it overlooks the Giudecca canal. They serve the ice cream in flamboyant hurricane glasses. It opened in the 1920s so they’ve served everyone from Peggy Guggenheim to Angelina Jolie. Great spot to escape getting sun burned under the parasols too 🫶

You know what. Best ice cream I had in Venice. Flavour, among the best. Price, very fair. Size of scoops, among the biggest. The buy behind the counter, a pro. I wanted ice cream, he had ice cream, I said what I wanted, he asked "cone?" I said "yeah" he said "to side" and oriented himself sideways to the other counter. I walked there. He asked "card?" I said "yeah". He pointed to the terminal, I put my card on the terminal. We both said Gracie, I got my ice cream. Easy going, minimal amount of obstacles from wanting for ice cream to getting ice cream. I will definitely return here the next time I am in Venice.

Would spend money elsewhere. His pizza, yes, was delicious. That's all I would order from here again. Small pour of wine. Ordered and charged for fresh egg pasta, and told yes that's it, but I'm pretty sure this is not fresh egg pasta and is just what is pictured on the menu.... may be good for some people but I would not go back. Much better prices down the street and more authentic appearing. The seafood in the fish was good but I didn't finish the pasta. Had to ask for the bill, waited awhile before asking.

This place has changed a lot. I am currently living in Venice and this is my go to place. The staff is all very nice and attentive. Friendly and nice to talk to. The pizza is one of the best ones in Venice. Tazzin is one of my favorite staff, always so kind and he remembers my favorites. I see people have started to enjoy this place as there has clearly been a change of management and staff. For tourists this is an ideal place as the menu has the top items to eat here at reasonable prices. Here are some photos. Please do try their pizza!

We came here for breakfast, it did not disappoint. The pancakes were delicious and the scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. The coffee was so good, would have liked to have vanilla latte but the flat white hit the spot. The full English was served with cold beans but still very good. The bacon was very crispy but not salty which was really good. The fried eggs were very good too. The omelette was very dry and not much flavour, the only dish I would not recommend. It was very busy but we were served very quickly and the food was very quick to table too. Definitely visit this place for breakfast.

The place is great. I didn't have to book a table for two. For more people, you have to do it. The food is excellent, especially the pistachio cake. The waiters are polite, not sweet-talking like in other restaurants, which I really appreciate. I've been to other restaurants in Venice, but I came back to this one. The team is cold, but in reality they're so "cool" 😉.

We had an awesome meal at La Lista! The Diavolissima pizza was delicious — just the right amount of spiciness with amazing flavor. The French fries were perfectly hot and crunchy, and the bruschetta was full of flavor with warm, toasty bread that made it extra satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Definitely a great spot for a tasty, casual meal!

At first we thought it was a little on the pricey side but the portions were worth it! Touristy, so don’t eat here all the time- go find some true Venetian food, but it’s nice to have a breakfast you might be used to once in a while.

Had pizza here, formaggi and rita4. We upgraded with sesame seed and ricotta on the crust. Had Palladium and Limoncello. The pizzas we had were good. It only comes in 1 size and we were told it was good for 1. We struggled to finish the pizzas between the 2 of us, it was way bigger than your dinner plate so it was a lot for us. The Paloma, I’ve had Palomas before and this isn’t one of the best, it was ok same with Limoncello. The staffs were great, efficient and helpful. They will sell you upgrades but you don’t have to if you don’t want and they’re ok with that. The location was very convenient to all shops, foot traffic, cash machine and public transport. The place clean and easy access to prams and wheelchairs. There are indoor and outdoor seatings. The food is generous and reasonably priced.

Went there with intent to buy some beans to bring home. Staff was super helpful in helping us decide. As a result we tried a number of delicious drinks to finalize. Prices are a little inflated but worth giving a try still…

The coffee is amazing. Smooth, strong but not bitter. The service is friendly, helpful (as we spoke little Italian) and the food is fresh. Be sure to try the pistachio croissant. We will be back.

I stopped at Caffè del Doge and had a double espresso and tiramisu. The coffee was excellent – strong, intense, and just a bit bitter, but in a positive way that really highlights the flavor. The tiramisu was classic and well made, a proper version of this iconic dessert. Cozy atmosphere and a great spot for real Italian coffee in Venice. Highly recommended!

Café Del Doge is a fantastic spot in Venice for coffee lovers! They offer a wonderful selection of rich, aromatic coffees and freshly made pastries that are absolutely delicious. I really enjoy coming here to relax, have a great cup of coffee, and indulge in some of their sweet treats. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Venice, making it an ideal stop whether you’re exploring the city or just taking a break. The service is excellent, with friendly staff who make the experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite cafés in Venice highly recommended

This is a cafe recommended to me by an Italian. Although it is very close to Rialto Bridge, it is on a quiet alleyway and therefore hidden. The espresso costs less than 2 euros (you can also buy coffee for your home).

Great spot to grab coffee and a pastry! Delicious pistachio croissant and cappuccino. So many locals popped in and out while I was here; validated it’s a spot worth visiting. They also sell bags of beans to take home and have a clean restroom for customers only.

Real fresh milk in the coffee! This was the first place we found that used fresh whole milk for the flat white. They are a proper coffee shop with beans sourced from all over the world for you to choose from. We had a cannoli as well which was divine. Unfortunately, I did not think to review this place until we had finished.

Brunch Cafe is a popular breakfast and brunch spot located in Venice, Italy. Despite its small size, it attracts a large crowd, often resulting in lines out the door during mid-morning hours. While it may not offer an extensive selection of vegan options, it does provide a diverse menu of popular fare for patrons to enjoy. Visitors to Venice seeking a break from traditional breakfast offerings will find this cafe to be a delightful change with its hearty and flavorful dishes.
WOW!! Amazing breakfast had by all here! Bit of a wait to get a table, but the line moved quickly. Lovely cosy indoor seating. Kind, friendly service with quick food delivery. The highlight was the gluten free pancakes- they were out of this world! How they make them so fluffy and tasty, we would love to know! Highly recommend!
Matthew D — Google review
Nice place! Great service, excellent food, decent price. We all enjoyed our meals! The fluffy pancakes were delicious! I had a savoury version with eggs and bacon - and ate everything! Including the salad on the side, and I don't generally do that at breakfast... Presentation on the plate was exceptionally well done. Definitely recommend.

The food was amazingly fun. From what I gather everyone goes here for the “pancakes”. They are very light and fluffy, more like a meringue. Very small establishment, there is a fresh pasta place right next door as well. There are warning of pickpockets everywhere. We never had any issues. Service and food was great all around. In most Places in Europe we learned you must ask for the check. Or you will be waiting.

This was our second visit to Brunch Cafe while visiting Venice, and it was even better than the first! Even during the busy rush of the breakfast hour, the hostess prepared our table and took our order while we waited outside and we sat within 10 minutes. Our food and coffee was delivered within a few minutes of sitting and it was delicious. Avocado toast with Bacon did not disappoint and the Nutella Pancakes were fantastic! They took a little longer than the rest of the food, but the entire staff was on top of it and made sure we were comfortable and happy the entire time. The crew here is top-notch and the food is well worth the wait. Definitely recommend this cozy spot for anyone passing through the busy streets of Venice!

The Brunch Cafe is located in the San Polo neighborhood of Venice. My hotel was nearby and when we would pass by we noticed the restaurant was crowded or had a line to enter the establishment. The hotel we stayed at offered free breakfast, but we decided to changed it up and give the Brunch Cafe a try. We arrived at 7:30a when they opened. We ordered the French Toast & Scrambled Egg Platter. The French Toast has melted cheese on it and the bacon wasn’t fully cooked. We mentioned to the staff that melted cheese on French Toast isn’t a ‘standard practice’? The waitstaff didn’t appear to comprehend the complaint or wasn’t interested in remediation of the matter? Overall, the staff were polite.

Wanted a egg omelette and came to the right place. We didn't make reservations and ended waiting about 3-5min in a que outside, the place was busy was seated quickly. I had the egg omelette and partner had the fluffy pancakes eggs Benedict type plate along with Apersol and cappuccino! Everything was delicious and would recommend if your looking for a non-traditional Italian breakfast.

This place was so good! We got in with no reservation luckily around 9am at the end of May. When we left there was a wait however. We ordered a cappuccino and a caramel macchiato to drink. The macchiato was a nice looking drink and very delicious. Not overly sweet either. Cappuccino was pretty as well and tasted like a normal cappuccino. For food we got the breakfast combo with eggs, bacon, and toast. Came with a salad with a pesto dressing that was delicious. This was a solid, simply meal. The puffy pancakes we tried the trio of Nutella, mango/coconut, and salmon. All of these were really good! I may swap the salmon out if we were to order again but it was good. The other two I’d definitely order again. They were great. Service was good as well and nice we got in with no reservation. Weirdly the coffees were 1 euro more on our receipt than advertised on the menu, but no big deal. Was just something to note.

I imagine the rating is so high because the standard for breakfast in Europe is so low outside of hotels. It's very difficult to find "American" style breakfast around Italy and honestly found ourselves let down by Brunch Cafe. It was very crowded, the tables were so on-top of one another you couldn't even get in and out of the tables. The food came out in .00001 seconds but it took halfway through the meal to get juice. The food was honestly too expensive, and the pancakes lacked flavor and relied on being drenched in sauce. Way too sweet oriented, felt more like a gimmick dessert place.

This place was recommended by friends who love in Venice and it was a great experience. The service is impeccable that is very important for us and the food was outstanding! Very fresh sea food and cicchetti had new interpretation that were a great surprise. Good selection of wine with very decent prices. Though it is in the center and has many tourists the restaurant keeps it at high quality with very reasonable prices. Reservation is recommended! Definitely will be back when next time in Venice!

Our happy place in Venice. A restaurant that redefines Venetian cuisine with modern flair and a touch of the unexpected. The style is clean and minimalist, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine without unnecessary embellishments. Service is polished and professional, while the wine list—both by the glass and by the bottle—is thoughtfully curated and reliably strong. Truly one of Venice’s hidden gems. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and ended up going two nights in a row. If you enjoy watching the chefs at work, the best seats are near the open kitchen.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Ristorante Casa Cappellari We enjoyed an outstanding meal with exquisite dishes: - Pasta lamb ragout and grilled turbot were both deliciously prepared. - Presentation was excellent. Desserts were a highlight: - Tiramisù with amaretto was divine. - Dark chocolate world with rum beignets, salted chocolate ganache, and mocha coffee was exceptionally good. Service was top-notch, thanks to Carmel and another gentleman who were gentle, professional, and carried themselves impeccably. Highly recommended! 👌🍴"

I was looking for a last minute spot to enjoy dinner and wanted to find something fresh and authentic as opposed to commercial Italian cuisine. I stumbled upon this gem just in time before closing and they allowed me to sit inside and enjoy an amazing meal. Quaint, clean atmosphere with friendly and professional service. The food was impeccable and exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed a few small and light plates - beef carpaccio, tuna tartar, zucchini blossom and a baked scallop. Fresh and balanced food, would highly recommend! Thank you kindly for a memorable last meal in Venice… Special thanks to Massimo and Carmel who took care of me.

Caffe Brasilia is a small coffee shop with two locations in Venice, one in Rio Tera dei Assassini and the other in Strada Nova. Established in 1961, it has been serving high-quality coffee to locals and visitors alike. The cafe offers classic Italian espresso and cappuccino, along with pastries like croissants and krapfen in the morning, and tramezzino or panino later in the day.
Was in Venice recently for art, and searched for “egg sandwich” and this became our little go-to in our brief time here. Lisa was amazing - warm, efficient, quick service. Nutella waffle was So good, veggie omelets were great, we ordered freshly juiced drinks (the ‘Digestiva’ (pricy but so so good and necessary)). (photos are from numerous visits) Seems like soy (“soya”) milk is the main alternative milk option in Venice - our “latte macchiatos” were delicious!

Caffè Brasilia quickly became our go-to spot during our stay in Venice, whether for a morning espresso and pastry or a refreshing Aperol Spritz in the early afternoon before dinner. Nestled in a quiet corner just a few steps from our hotel, Ca’ Alvise, this charming café offers an authentic Venetian experience at exceptionally reasonable prices. The friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the café’s appeal. Inside, you’ll find a cozy setting with good music playing in the background, while outside seating provides a prime location for people-watching. From this hidden gem, you can observe the steady flow of visitors heading towards iconic landmarks like the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. What makes Caffè Brasilia truly special is its ability to offer a peaceful retreat from Venice’s bustling tourist areas. Despite its central location, it retains a sense of exclusivity, making it feel like your own little slice of Venetian paradise. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick cappuccino or lingering over a spritz, this café embodies the charm and relaxed pace of Venetian life—an ideal way to start or pause your day while exploring the city.

Lovely local bar in a side street in Venice. Reasonable prices, great service and very friendly staff. Minutes walk from all of the popular places but more authentic and local and significantly cheaper. Totally recommend, also a great place to find the shade, was 38° when I was there and the shade and cool was very welcome, as we're the beers😁

I am not used to leave bad reviews, but this is an exaction. The waitress was so rude and did not speak properly to our group. Really good vibes from this restaurant. Customer service is good. All the good was so delicious, all cooked fresh and not a long wait time either. Their pancakes are a must have! We had both of the smoothie options they offer, they are really lovely but €6 each smoothie which is a little more on the expensive side but they are really good. Overall price is not bad at all. Would come again if we visit Italy another time.

There aren’t many brunch places in Mestre, so I was happy to find this one. The first thing that I really liked about this place is that they have a great menu with various options including photos and prices. The atmosphere is very good, beautiful place to eat inside or outside. The staff are also very kind and they prepare everything fast. It’s a bit crowded on the weekends so it’s better to call in advance and reserve a table. I’ll definitely visit again!

I recently visited this breakfast spot and, unfortunately, the food did not quite meet my expectations. Inventive and flavorful food in a beautiful setting. Had the beetroot spaghetti with caviar, then the cod with broad beans. Both dishes were delicious, with harmonious yet surprising flavors. As is obvious when you walk in, the space is beautiful. Wonderful night with friends enjoying good food and wine.

The place is interesting and elegant. The service however was less friendly and prompt. At least felt that way. Higher prices in every choice. The most disappointment arrived from the quality and quantity of the spritz. Avoid it. I wouldn’t recommend it

Beautiful setting inside the we’ll air conditioned indoor courtyard of the large department store. Service was basic but friendly. Food was all generally good. Cold spaghetti with seafood crudo and caviar was the standout. The cuttlefish appetizer was also good. The langoustine pasta was a bit under seasoned but nice texture and subtle. Portion on the smaller side as you would expect for the nice location and ambiance.

Our reservation at Amo Venice was intended to be a memorable celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary, a cherished milestone that deserved an extraordinary dining experience. However, what unfolded before us was a regrettable series of events that left us disenchanted and disheartened, primarily due to the subpar service we encountered throughout the evening. Prior to our visit, we were enticed by the captivating imagery of a Michelin-starred restaurant displayed on the booking site. To our surprise and disappointment, the reality differed significantly as we found ourselves at Amo Venice, a subsidiary restaurant within the Alajomo brand. The lack of clarity in differentiating between the various establishments under their ownership led to initial confusion and a sense of disillusionment. Upon our arrival at the restaurant, our first encounter with the server, Giacomo N. - Tavolo, set the tone for the evening. When seeking directions to the restaurant, the server misheard our inquiry and inadvertently pointed us in the wrong direction. Though he later corrected his mistake, his initial response demonstrated a lack of attentiveness and professionalism that fell short of our expectations. Upon being led to our table, we were presented with a QR code to access the menu. However, only one functioning phone among our party of four had sufficient battery life to view the digital menu, leaving us with an impractical situation. The absence of physical menus, a fundamental aspect of any fine dining establishment, was an oversight that marred the overall experience. Furthermore, the online menu itself was poorly organized, with the wine selection separated from other beverages, causing unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. Throughout this ordeal, our server offered no assistance or guidance, leaving us to navigate the menu without any support. His apathetic attitude and lack of interest were evident as he took our orders without the care and attention one would expect from a high-end restaurant. As tourists, we had hoped for a server who would engage with us and provide recommendations based on our preferences. However, our server demonstrated a lack of enthusiasm and minimal effort, offering curt and half-hearted responses to our inquiries. The bare minimum of service was provided, leaving us feeling neglected and undervalued as guests. Despite these initial disappointments, the culinary journey at Amo Venice did have some redeeming qualities. The starters, including the Fried Mozzarella with Anchovies and Focaccia Vegetariana (Grilled Vegetarian Sandwich with Scamorza Cheese), were satisfactory, exhibiting pleasant flavors and presentation. However, our enthusiasm waned when the main courses arrived cold. When we questioned the server about this unacceptable oversight, his feeble excuse was the distance between the kitchen and our seating area. Such an explanation is simply unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber within a luxurious establishment. The lackluster service we encountered from the start to the end of our meal left us disheartened to the extent that we forfeited the notion of indulging in desserts. When we voiced our disappointment and explained how this entire ordeal had tarnished our 25th wedding anniversary celebration, our concerns were met with a lack of acknowledgment. It was only after expressing our intention to leave a negative review that the server hastily offered a basic dessert, which felt insincere and forced. It is truly disheartening to witness the reputation of a purportedly high-end restaurant such as Amo Venice being compromised by the lack of discipline and rigor displayed by its employees. While we acknowledge the possibility of language barriers that may have posed challenges for our server, it does not excuse the overall poor quality of service we received. In summary, our experience at Amo Venice was far from the sophisticated and unforgettable
Leith F — Google review
Absolutely loved Amo. Set inside an old palace (which now houses an elevated shopping center) Amo provides a modern take on Italian classics, with a good list of vegetarian options. It’s on the pricier side (but pretty much all of Venice is), but it’s a great place for a light lunch or aperitivo.
Blaec K — Google review
Excellent coffee and pastry, but not top service. Also a bit too expensive. But generally in a very nice setting of Tedeschi foundation- totally atypical for Venice as its not too crowded and quite modern sort of department store.

This is more of a snack bar than a cafe or a restaurant. But the snacks and the drinks were really nice. The staff was friendly and nice too. Fantastic food! Quite a varied menu with an option for everyone. The fluffy pancakes are very nice - I tried my partners Fluffy Yoghurt pancakes - a great option is your looking for a sweeter option. I enjoyed the roti thoroughly. This was so good we went back the next day. The Savoury French Toast was kind of incredible! Service was very good but a little slow on the first day - our server appears to be covering the entire restaurant by themselves. Highly recommended. Best to make a reservation.

Great place! Hidden away from the tourist crowds. We stopped in for a cold coffee (it's hard to find one in Italy) and stayed for the fluffy pancakes and Aperol Spritz. Had the milk and ricotta sfogliatella, but we had it for take away so we weren't able to soak in the atmosphere. The pastries were very delicious and well worth a try. The location is in a crowded part of town but it was easy enough to find. There are other sweets here as well that looked good.

Bar Pasticceria Ballarin is an absolute must-visit in Venice if you’re looking for authentic Italian pastries, delicious coffee, and a true local vibe. This charming pasticceria has been serving fresh, handmade pastries and desserts for years, and you can taste the tradition in every bite. We stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed perfectly flaky croissants, rich espresso, and some of the best Venetian sweets we’ve ever had. The cannoli and tiramisu were especially memorable! The staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was quick even with the morning rush. Whether you’re starting your day in Venice or craving an afternoon treat, Bar Pasticceria Ballarin is a top choice for quality Italian coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic, delicious, and affordable Venetian café experience.

Looking at the shop I was immediately drawn by the beautifully displayed pastries. I was delighted to eat the crispy, fresh desserts and would have eaten even more ! I did not want to share. This is my new favorite pastry place in Venice!

Ordered some of the gelato and cookies, it was good. The gelato is a bit cheaper than the famous gelato in that area.

Coffee: 4/5 I had better coffee in Venice. Cappuccino was okay. Staff: 5/5 Friendly Food: 5/5 I had a Croissant with pistachio and it was amazing but the small cake were amazing. They were so good!! 😋 I can highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful place to drink your coffee in the morning! First of all, I really liked this place because it had a wide variety of cakes and pastry products that you could choose from. They were very nicely arranged as well. I had a really big cafe latte which impressed me because in many places the coffee is not as big. I also had a ricotta and pistacchio cannoli, which was really rich in flavour and very consistent. You cannot really sit here because there are only counters where you can serve your products, but no chairs. Me and my friends served our coffee and pastry products near the windows and it was funny that people who were passing on that street were looking at us while we were eating. The staff was really friendly to us. The coffee took a while to be prepared but there was only one person taking care of coffee and the shop was really crowded at that time. Overall, I recommend this place. It it perfect for a breakfast or a snack on the go.

Their pistachio croissant is simply the best. Most of the pastries are delicious. Espresso is on point. The price is surprisingly cheap. This is a one not to be missed breakfast spot if you are in Venice. Absolutely dreamy. They play some 90's song to add to the happening vibe inside the place.

Tucked away at the end of Via Garibaldi in Venice, Trattoria alla Rampa is a charming find with a hand-painted sign by the canalside. The trattoria offers a fixed price menu called "menu operai" from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm for 13.
Awesome place. We had a great meal. We visited as a party of 4 including 2 vegetarians. All were catered for. This place is packed with atmosphere and the staff work extremely hard at keeping everyone happy.

Great place, pasta Al Nero sim sepia is beautiful, smooth , velvety and really flavorfull. The house wine is really nice , the value is fair , for the food quality , it's truly worth the detour out of the more turistic areas

Nice restaurant with a great location near a canal. Oftentimes, you can see a grocery gondola parked nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At peak hours you might have to wait a bit to be served and before your food is ready, otherwise, it was a good experience for an affordable price.

My partner and I have been traveling around Europe (we're from NZ) we like to do our research because Venice can be super tourist trapped. But we decided to take a punt on this place after watching someone go here on YouTube. The surrounding restaurants were gasping for customers but there was a line for this place. Everyone that left while we were waiting in queue said "this is Venizian Food for Venizians" and so we we were getting our hopes up for what to expect. There was a 20min wait for a table so we were happy to stand and wait for quality. The gentleman at the bar was so nice, I ordered 2 Spritz' at the bar while we waited for our table. When we got a seat, the food was no nonsense, delicious wholesome food at only 15 Euro per plate. We had their signature plus catch of the day which was kinda what we wanted from Venice as wed heard how good their seafood was. Overall a great experience, yes you can wait a little bit, but this is Italy, im on Vacation, im happy to people watch and drink the delicious house barrel wine while I wait. My only criticism is that they weren't open for dinner that night as def would go back.

It was a little local restaurant with crowded of local people, and the food was just simply amazing. We shared Tagliatelle al Ragù, Polenta e baccalà and the taste was really very wonderful. Fresh bread provided. Dessert and coffee is also good. The dishes and the setting are rustic but very well-made. It was nice to find a not touristy place, if you are visiting this part of Venice, this trattoria is worth a try. Popular to locals, home style cooked food.

Antinoo's Lounge & Restaurant is a beautiful, romantic place for dinner with amazing views. The food was very good and the service was spot on, but it is a bit overpriced. Overall, an amazing experience!
We stayed at the hotel and had many drinks and our last lunch in Venice here. The food was very fresh, flavorful and good value considering the level of service and views of the main canal. We regretted not having more meals here. We ate at a few local places near the hotel and Antinoo’s is leagues ahead of them. The seafood spaghetti and mixed fried seafood was wonderful. Unbeatable views and ambiance. This is the place for drinks and meals on this side of the canal.

We stopped at Sina Centurion for an afternoon coffee during our day in Venice. Having visited many 5-star hotel cafes and lounges around the world, this one unfortunately fell short of expectations. Considering the price, I anticipated a more welcoming and approachable atmosphere. However, the service felt somewhat snobbish, and the coffee was average at best. The only redeeming factor was the beautiful space itself.
Flo Y — Google review
10 euro coperto?! What a joke! The food is trying to be creative but falls short of wow. The view is nice on Gritti Palace and the service is nice. We were not impressed by any of the dishes we ordered. If you have to dissect a tiny piece of scallop to make it look fancy in an array of colorful sauces, then something is not right.
Vic N — Google review
Food is fantastic, atmosphere is nice, much better than what I expected having read some of the previous reviews!

Probably one of the best views in Venice if you can grab a seat on the terrace overlooking the water. Only about 6 tables, but it is open until 4pm so late afternoon might be your best bet without a reservation. The food was good and priced somewhat reasonably at 20-30 per plate. The drinks are not on the menu and for good reason, ridiculous prices at 16 Euro for a spritz! A bit of bait and switch, but with this view it’s hard to complain.
C J — Google review
Food was very good, they have dinner options either a la carte or fixed menu. We had a la carte and the food was very tasty, the portions were good size and the presentation was very nice. They have a very good selection of Italian wines and the staff is super friendly.

Food was good, maybe a pinch of salt missing in a couple of dishes, service was spot on and would come back only for that reason! The Maitre was super hospitable, friendly and very sweet man, a true gentleman and an old school representation of hospitality, thank you for that! Restaurant is clean, great setup, view and a nice romantic place for dinner. A bit over priced!
Cláudio C — Google review
Food quality and presentation was very good. Food is on the expensive side.....27 EUR for a burger seems high, but it was the largest burger (in terms of the meat patty size) that I have seen in my 3 trips to Venice. I had the turkey and melted cheese sandwich w/ fries and it was very good. The service was VERY attentive.

Al 133 is a popular bar in Venice with great views and excellent food. The cafe also has a garden area which is nice to sit in, or on the front steps if you're looking out over the canal. Prices are very reasonable, making this a great place to enjoy a morning coffee or lunch.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting *Al 133*, a hidden gem in Venice, and I couldn’t be more delighted with the experience. The breakfast here is absolutely fantastic, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options to start your day right. Whether you're craving a sweet pastry or a savory treat, everything is made with care and served with a smile. The owner is such a lovely person—her happy and welcoming mood adds to the charm of the place. She genuinely makes you feel at home, and her positive energy is contagious! The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is quick, making it a perfect spot to grab breakfast before exploring the city.

We enjoyed our breakfast here out on the patio. Situated across from a small gondola service station & amongst a busy street makes this perfect for people watching, as well. There were several options for breakfast with a variety of items. Everything was delicious and the service was attentive and quick! We even got to witness a neighborhood dog scare the birds away and the owner goes “bravo!”. Such a cute and charming spot. Highly recommend.

The people here were so lovely. As an Australian coffee lover, I wouldn’t rate the coffee. The food was fantastic for a classic hearty breakfast but not the highest quality. The food is brought out from the kitchen and passes the toilet. They have a lovely outdoor area in the garden out back. Really nice when no one is smoking there.

Going by other reviews we visited for a late morning coffee the other day. Arrived to find 2 plain croissants left, so those expected pistachio croissants were long gone. Sullaluna Libreria & Bistrot is a unique spot that combines the love of books with organic, veggie-friendly food. The chic interior features bare-brick walls and light-toned wooden furniture, creating a cozy atmosphere for enjoying simple dishes like wine focaccia, cheeses, salads, and vegan options.
The coffee shop was the perfect spot to start the morning. We sat there at 9am by the canal enjoying the view, the cappuccino, croissants and the buffalo salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. Great restaurant for simple vegan and vegetarian dishes. It is nice to have a different menu than what you would typically get in Venice. It is more like small plates and sandwiches, but if you enjoy good vegan and vegetarian food, definitely give it a try. Unpretentious atmosphere, nice service and in a bookstore, so quite unique. Make a reservation for dinner.

A place where every detail has been thoughtfully considered. If there is such a thing as a perfect place — this is it. As a design lover, I was in absolute delight — everything was so beautifully crafted, a true feast for the eyes and the soul! Since this visit to Venice was only for a few hours between flights, I had time to stop by for a cocktail — and what an experience it was! The drink selection, ingredients, and presentation were all carefully curated. Even the non-alcoholic options were creative and impressive. The cocktails we tried were truly world-class — perfectly balanced and delicious. The atmosphere was calm and unhurried, with an intimate and private feel. A peaceful spot with exceptionally kind and attentive staff. Everything was of the highest standard, yet the team remained warm and genuine — which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended, even if you only have time for a quick drink. But I already know — this is a place I’ll be coming back to!

Booked and payed a huge amount for a room with a view to Garden and Canal grande but got a room in the basement with bars on the windows like a jail. At breakfast no fresh bread, no thuna on request, in the summer no Watermelon (got it at every restaurant in town),… Definitely not worth the money although very nicely restored palace.

Wonderful Japanese Italian fusion. Staff were friendly, welcoming and were attentive to our dietary needs. The menus makes all allergens very clear. The staff speak English well which helps. The room is smaller and fills quickly with lively conversation sometimes on the louder side however the atmosphere is friendly. There is extensive wines available, beers however non alcoholic drinks are limited. Coke was the only soft drink available. We were offered a tasty amuseboosh to get the meal started. Love the cross over of Japanese and Italian. The eel was really tasty, my partner loved the gyoza. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was very good. Japanese cuisine make sense for the abundance of fresh fish available in Venice, but the meal was well executed, and felt very special. Presentation was gorgeous and the flavors were homey and comforting, but refined. The chef’s menu came with about 18 dishes, most were a little bite, but also included more substantial plates. Everything was good, I ate all of it. For around €50 it was a great experience. Small, but interesting selection of sake. The staff was very kind and super knowledgeable about what they were putting on the table.

One of those Venetian restaurants that make you feel you are in New York. A proudly international Japanese tavern occupying an old traditional Osteria (the name comes from that old restaurant), they still maintain the old name at the entrance floor. Simple indoors environment and a small outdoor terrace. Friendly service. Chic and young clientele. Small menu. No tablecloths.

Beautiful setting, perfect location, exquisite food and top notch service. The best culinary experience I’ve had in Venice by far. An absolutely stunning palace — a must-visit whether you go for a drink or a full dining experience. Don’t miss the chance! While there’s no strict dress code officially stated, I would recommend leaving the shorts and flip-flops behind and dressing in a way that matches the elegance of the place. Don’t hesitate to ask a staff member to give you a short tour of the three Arva dining rooms and share a bit of the palace’s fascinating history. One of the most magical moments was arriving and leaving through the private main entrance, accessible exclusively by water taxi — a truly unforgettable experience.

Absolutely beautiful destination. Food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We had previously dined at Arva in Aman Tokyo (which wasn’t too memorable) but we decided to give the Arva sister restaurant a try and the Arva in Venice far exceeds it - with quality dishes one after another. I believe the regional ingredients and dishes made a big difference. Pricing for ala carte (the only option at dinner) was very reasonable considering the beautiful palatial style dining room you’d be enjoying a meal in. The petit fours at the end to end the meal was also one of the best I’ve tasted, a solid 5-star hotel dining experience.

With high expectations and excitement to have our first dinner in Venice Italy at Arva by Aman. we left with disappointment.. all dishes were below average and lacked flavor. My overall rating is 1/10. I wouldn’t recommend it. The hotel itself Aman Venice got 3 Michelin keys!!! Yet they don’t have any restaurants or terrace at & overlooking the water! Truly disappointing

Overall my husband and I had a wonderful experience here on our honeymoon. The food was not as amazing as I thought it would be for an Aman resort. The fish course was not enjoyable for me. The paintings on the walls were breathtaking. It felt like we were dining in a museum. Definitely worth the trip to experience dining here!

Let me start with the positive: Hotel Danieli is, without a doubt, one of the most visually stunning places in Venice. The architecture, the interiors, the ambiance—it’s like walking through history wrapped in velvet. My husband and I came for lunch at their restaurant and spent over $400 enjoying the view and the setting. However, what followed was deeply disappointing. As a content creator and influencer, I often highlight beautiful and culturally significant places for my audience. I was genuinely excited to share the magic of this hotel, especially its legendary lobby, with my followers—many of whom travel frequently and seek unique experiences in places like Venice. But I was stopped and told I could not walk around or take any photos in the public areas, despite being a paying guest. I wasn’t setting up a shoot, just using my phone respectfully, as any guest would. The tone was not only unwelcoming, but dismissive and restrictive. It felt unnecessarily rigid and, frankly, not in line with the spirit of hospitality or modern luxury service. It’s a strange experience to be in such a grand, historic place and be treated as though you’re doing something wrong by simply appreciating it. I respect private policies—but hospitality, especially in iconic places, should be democratic, kind, and gracious. Unfortunately, this experience felt quite the opposite. It left a bitter aftertaste to an otherwise beautiful meal.

My trip to Venice was truly magical, and staying at the Hotel Danieli was an absolute highlight. I was looking for a luxurious hotel that embraced its history, and this was the perfect find. It's easy to see why so many films have been shot here; from the moment you step inside, it feels like you've been transported back in time, with every detail of the preserved design telling a story. The service was impeccable and truly next level. A highlight of my stay was the breakfast terrace. Overlooking the sparkling sea, I enjoyed my breakfast with a mesmerizing view of gondolas gliding by and grand cruise ships sailing in the distance. I even had some charming little birds join me for a visit at my table, which I found was cute. My room was comfortable, cozy, impeccably maintained, and a safe retreat after a day of exploring. Hotel Danieli isn't just a place to sleep; it's an experience of old-world luxury and exceptional service. I can't wait to return.

I recently had a memorable stay at the historic Hotel Danieli, an elegant property that is truly reminiscent of a traditional European palace. Heitor from the Concierge was very attentive and helpful, and suggested many recommendations on local cuisine and sights to discover. The property boasts numerous rich historical characters and details in every corner. Interestingly, the hotel uses traditional, heavy keys instead of RFID key cards, which offer a great deal of historic charm and add a special memory to the stay. The room featured a balcony, a panoramic view, and the service was impeccable. It was a truly memorable stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.

6 out if 5 stars everyday. Best views in Venice from this historic and iconic hotel. Impeccable service. Concierges Hector and Moira very helpful booking our tickets and transfers. Sylvia at reception was stellar. Great vacation. Recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Amazing stay at Hotel Danieli!** A historic 14th-century palazzo turned luxury hotel. Stunning Venetian Gothic interiors, beautifully decorated rooms, and balconies with breathtaking canal views. Rooftop dining with panoramic views is a must. Perfect

GREAT place! Top Hotel in Europe or in the world? We had only a cold beer and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon in the incredible bar, with wery nice staff late in October. 🥰 One local beer 33cl was 16€, not to bad for this kind of place. The interior is just WOW, wery Instagramfriendly. 👀

I had the pleasure of visiting Hotel Danieli in Venice on July 29th, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is stunning, full of old-world charm and elegance, but what truly stood out was the service. The staff, especially the front desk clerk, were exceptionally warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to assist us, making sure we felt comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience.

Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal is an elegant hotel offering free Wi-Fi, a buffet restaurant, and terrace dining overlooking the canal. It's conveniently accessible by boat, with Vaporetto stops nearby. The rooms feature a stylish mix of antique furniture and modern comforts, providing guests with picturesque views of the Grand Canal. Additionally, the hotel boasts a bar and restaurant where guests can savor breakfast on the terrace while taking in panoramic vistas.
What a lovely way to start the day! We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best birthdays she’s ever had. One of the staff members — we don’t know his name — was incredibly kind and funny. He brought a candle to surprise my friend and made us smile with his great energy. And the most touching part? When we received the bill, we noticed they didn’t even charge us for the birthday cake we had ordered. It was their special gift to her. I’ve never experienced such thoughtful and generous service in a hotel restaurant before. A big thank you to that amazing staff member — your kindness made our morning truly unforgettable!

Our first trip to Venice was unforgettable, and staying at Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal played a huge part in that. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming — nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the Deluxe Double With Grand Canal View, and it was absolutely stunning. Watching the gondolas pass by from our window felt like something out of a dream. The room itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. Everything about our stay felt special. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was just lovely. A huge thank you to all the amazing staff for making our first visit to Venice so memorable — we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal — where the view makes all the difference You couldn’t ask for a better location — right on the Grand Canal, a few steps from Piazza San Marco, where Venice truly feels alive. The real magic, though, happens at the hotel bar: silver-haired Italian bartenders in crisp white jackets mixing the best Chinàr Spritz on earth. Classic, slightly bitter, perfectly balanced — the kind of drink you’ll remember long after leaving Venice. The restaurant, on the other hand, feels a bit too formal and overpriced for what it offers — small portions, big prices, and not much soul. One important tip: if you’re booking through Booking.com, make sure to clearly request a room with a canal view. Otherwise, you might end up staring at a wall instead of that unforgettable Venetian water view.
SP S — Google review
Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms and perfect location. Extraordinary breakfast with unforgettable view and atmosphere, right on the Grand canal’s shore. We really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace on sunny autumn day 👍 Only the breakfast selection could have been wider, but still fine. Definitely worth money and staying.
Michal L — Google review
Location is good. Service is more or less, as our luggage was taken to the room of our friends, even though we separated the luggage beforehand. The rooms are ok, but the bathtub couldn't fill because the stopper didn't work. There is no water in the room, so nothing to drink in the morning. There are rooms which are separated from one another with a door, which they just close on the key. But it’s just a door, so you can hear everything happening in the next room. So in general it’s 3 out of 5. I would find some other place to stay next time.

We celebrated our wedding dinner with family (10 people) at Monaco Grand Hotel in Venice, and it was truly unforgettable. The service was outstanding — everything was handled with such care and attention. A special thanks to our table manager, Lorenzo, who made the evening absolutely magical with his professionalism, warmth, and kindness. The atmosphere, food, and service were all exceptional, and it was the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommended!

This hotel offers a superior and elegant experience on the canals of Venice. The view will take your breath away, while the service is top notch. Concierge helped us with dinner reservations and boat taxi service to the airport for a very early flight. When we loaded in the taxi they even had breakfast waiting for us. I’m highly recommend!

Aciugheta is a popular trattoria located in the center of Venice, offering a simple menu with traditional pizza toppings and regional wines. The wood and brick interior creates a fun and informal atmosphere, perfect for bringing friends. The pizzeria is known for its top-notch service and soft, delicious Neapolitan-style pizza dough. Additionally, Aciugheta serves exceptional Arabica coffee from Laboratorio Giamaica Caffe and offers an extensive wine selection.
This restaurant is great for pizza! It smelt so good when it arrived that some of it was gone before I could take a picture. The topping we had was tomato, smoked cheese, buffalo mozerella ruccola anchovies. It was called Mediterranean. The smoked cheese and tomato tasted really lovely. We also had sea bass with ratatouille which was a healthy option that settled our stomachs after we had lots of creamy food in Rome. I am sad we are leaving Venice today so cannot come back for another meal.

Excellent food. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We were recommended by a local and it was a wonderful experience (forgot to take more pictures because the food was too good). A must when visiting Venice

Visited in April 2024. This restaurant became our favourite for 4 days while we were staying in Venice. There is a big list of pizzas in the menu but in fact I loved not only their pizzas but all the other dishes which I tasted from the menu. The thing which I did love here was the staff. They are friendly, helpful and try to meet all the needs /wishes of their guests. A few times we asked to add/exclude some ingredients and every time they did it. Lunches and dinners in the restaurant made our visit really warm. Thank you 🤗

We had such a delicious lunch here that we came back for dinner. Wait staff were kind and attentive, and prices reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. The owner also owns a Michelin rated restaurant next door and the dishes show the benefit of that association. Would definitely recommend.

Went here every morning on our weekend in Venice. Amazing croissants and coffee, waitresses were understanding of our lack of Italian. We loved it here and would return again… amazing quality and insane value! Pistachio croissants were insane and fresh orange juice was fab

We visited a small but cozy cafe in San Polo with many branches. The desserts were cute and delicate, and the cookies and cream puffs were delicious. However, the coffee quality was just average, and the staff could be friendlier. They need to improve in that area.
SY K — Google review
Great little spot with very friendly staff who were efficient in serving everyone. We had the pistachio cornetto (croissant) which was lovely as well as a cappuccino. The cappuccino could have been a little hotter but I believe that may be the norm here in Italy rather than it being a specific instance. Would highly recommend if you are popping past.
Gary W — Google review
This little (chain) cafe was near our Airbnb. We loved the convenience, the hours, and the waitstaff was very attentive and helpful. The food was good and the coffee was right on target. We recommend the macchiato to get the robust coffee flavor with just a hint of milk. The almond croissants were quite good - we had them in the morning so they were fresh. The ladies at the counter were usually cheerful and once we were in there after the 2nd visit, they recognized us which was quite nice. If you don't like birds or animals, don't go as the birds seem to walk around inside - they aren't disruptive, but I can see where some people might not appreciate the closeness of the wildlife :-).

We were happy with the products here. One of the best cannoli we ate here(we ate quite a few others and they were bad compared to this one). Same for the sweets, they looked made with quality ingredients and very tasty. Great coffee too and reasonable prices.

Sina Centurion Palace is a chic luxury boutique hotel located at the mouth of the Grand Canal in Venice. Housed in a former convent with a Venetian-Gothic exterior, it offers posh rooms and suites, some with stunning views of the Grand Canal. The hotel's modern interiors beautifully complement its classical architecture. Executive Chef Giancarlo Bellino's philosophy focuses on simple yet deeply respectful cuisine that reflects the style and identity of Sina Centurion Palace.
Our stay at the Sina Centurion Palace was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by this truly lovely hotel. One of the highlights was undoubtedly our room with the grand canal view. Waking up to the serene sights and sounds of Venice right outside our window was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's aesthetics, the art work in the lobby and common areas was captivating, adding to the elegant ambiance. We started off enjoying our evenings with drinks at the Antinoo’s lounge & restaurant before heading out to explore the city. The staff's friendliness truly made us feel welcome. Their attentive and warm demeanor enhanced our entire stay. A particularly touching moment was meeting an Indian lady working at the restaurant. She noticed me and introduced herself, sharing that she had moved to Italy for employment a few years prior. Continental breakfast buffet, included every morning, was a fantastic start to our days. The food was pretty good, offering a satisfying selection before our Venetian adventures. The convenience of the hotel's location was also a major plus. We took a ferry straight from Venice International Airport to the hotel’s entry from the side of the lake. The overall views and location of the Sina Centurion Palace are simply unbeatable. Our time at Sina Centurion Palace was truly a great experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Venice & seeking a charming and welcoming stay.

Our stay at Sina Centurion Palace was definitely worth it. When we first entered the hotel, we were greeted by staffs and a warm welcoming by the grand water entrance. The room however, was a little small at first, but they managed to give us an upgrade to a junior suite which was better than we expected! The room was very clean, the bedsheets were very soft and made us sleep well. They gave us a view of the grand canal in the room we got upgraded to. The next morning, we went to a breakfast buffet, which was packed with warm pastries, cut up fruits, bacon and sausages, and lots more. They even offered us for some drinks like hot chocolate or coffee when we came in. The hotel is also very convenient, as it is pretty close to the shops, museums and the station. When we checked out, the offered us some complimentary drinks before we left. This is a truly deserved five star hotel and an amazing place for first time comers to stay.
Bianca W — Google review
The staff turn a beautiful property into a magical experience. This is our second time staying here, and we feel like family every time. From the warm greeting by Tonin when we arrived (a perfect airport transfer thanks to the organizational skills of the front desk), and Francesca's smile when we arrive at breakfast, every moment in this property is a delight. Kudos as well to Enrico at the front desk and Erisa and Sweta at breakfast, as well as Paolo the GM and the restaurant manager whose name I forgot. Order a cappuccino or latte macchiato at breakfast. It will change your life. Don't order an Americano (why waste good coffee beans?). Their made to order omelettes and avocado toast were also great. We loved the Deluxe room, with plenty of space and a gorgeous balcony. Enjoy a sundowner at the hotel's canal facing bar, and besides the special spritzes, try the frangiacorte Italian style champagne, which has a fresh and vibrant character. Dorsoduro, the island the hotel is on, is just across from San Marco, and there is a traghetto (2 euros per person) only a block away, and a bridge about a 10 minute walk, but Dorsoduro is so much more serene and tranquil than San Marco, and the restaurants feel a bit less commercial. Ai Gondolieri nearby was an excellent, upscale and friendly dinner we had at the recommendation of the concierge. The gorgeous Fortuni clothing store nearby is a must see, as they only sell in a handful of locations besides Venice (Paris and Munich). This is also a great pre river cruise stay if you take a Uniworld river cruise, as their dock is usually on Dorsoduro.

My girlfriend and I were incredibly pleased to have one of the few rooms on the canal side with an overlooking balcony and it was absolutely enchanting. The views, the feels, everything was above and beyond what we had hoped. Food, water taxi, comfortable walking distance to any site you could desire - I only wish we would have spent more time here!

Thank you General Manager and staff for making our stay great. We appreciate them going above and beyond with their service to enhance our stay. They moved to a better room because our last room had issues in the shower. It was quick and smooth. It won’t go unnoticed. Its our first boutique hotel stay and it made an impression. Their guest are not just a number, they actually care about you. We would stay here again.

The exterior and courtyard are beautiful. Not very easy to get to though. The breakfast was…lackluster. A lot of seemingly frozen pastries and flavorless meats. Room was small but adequate. Staff was very nice and helpful though
Jordan P — Google review
Location is bad, 20 minutes walk from san marco square, reception staff is nice but the restaurant waiters are rude. The worst was when we left the room after we put the make up sign and came back at night with the sign flipped to do not disturb, probably by the room service staff, and the room not cleaned !!! i have never seen anything like this... We stayed in Junior suite, this hotel isnt 5 stars !!! it doesnt worth the money at all !!!! Worst Experience ever !!! And their room service is only lasagna and sandwiches ....

We just stayed at Sina Centurion Palace for four nights and it was pure bliss! Location was perfect for walking everywhere and just awesome experience enjoying cocktails on the patio on the canal and even back courtyard. Front desk staff was wonderful and very helpful...special shoutout to Francesca and Tonin...lovely people!
