The Euphrasian Basilica, a 6th-century Byzantine-style Episcopal basilica complex, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved early Christian architecture and art. Named after the sponsoring bishop Euphrasius, this masterpiece of Byzantine art and architecture features stunning mosaics, frescoes, and intricate carvings. Its historical significance has put Porec on the tourist map as one of Croatia's most visited destinations.
Visited during the morning and it was really beautiful with no one around. This 6th-century UNESCO World Heritage site is a stunning example of early Byzantine architecture. The basilica's intricate mosaics, particularly in the apse, are among the finest in the world, depicting biblical scenes with extraordinary detail and vibrant colors. The basilica has been a place of Christian worship for over 1,500 years, making it not only an artistic marvel but also a site of deep historical and religious significance. Half price for students. Nice view of the sea from the walls too.

This was an amazing experience as you step through time from the Romans to the Byzantine period and all the way through the 16th century to today. It is an experience not to be missed. You feel directly in touch with history and the sense of the centuries in the church is palatable, making it a unique experience in today’s modern fast-paced life. I cannot recommend a visit to Porec anf the Basilica enough. I would go again.
Ranjith L — Google review
We visited Poreč, a 2,000-year old Croatian city on the Istrian Peninsula influenced by Roman, Byzantine, and Venetian rule. It is known for its historic UNESCO World Heritage site, the Euphrasian Basilica complex, dating back to the 6th century. The complex showcases an amazing collection of mosaics housed in Byzantine-influenced architecture.
Francine L — Google review
Built in the 6th century, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the best-preserved examples of Byzantine art, this basilica is a must-visit.
Evren B — Google review
One of the oldest Basilica in the world. For the most part retained its original shape. The mosaic floor done in the 4th century can be seen. Just very fascinating! Worth of the visit!
Barbara S — Google review
The Euphrasian Basilica is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important examples of early Byzantine architecture in the Mediterranean. The tall, simple Romanesque-style bell tower seen in the photo is separate from the main basilica structure and can be accessed from a side street within the old town.
G W — Google review
Price of the tour is 10 euros and they were well spent.
Darko J — Google review
One of the best preserved basilicas of the 6th century in the world. To fully enjoy and decipher the meaning behind mosaics, a local guide is definitely recommended. Definitely a must visit place.

Pentagonal Tower, also known as Peterokutna kula, is a medieval historical curiosity located in Decumanus. This tower-top restaurant offers a unique dining experience. Nearby, you can find the City Museum and the atmospheric courtyard bar Lapidarium.
We are here for 4 days and we came to this restaurant the first day and we have came back everyday. Food is amazing, drinks are fabulous, service is unbeatable & views are exceptional! Our last day we had rain and they have an indoor outdoor area to sit in and it is beautiful as well . This is a very unique experience and I highly recommend! My steak wad cooked medium and it was perfect pastas are really good too!!!

What a treat! I had a fantastic beef consumee with fresh pasta and tiny, tender and tasty meatballs in it. Fresh homemade bread and great Croatian Cabernet. The restaurant is in a historic building and is decorated nicely. Very pleasant atmosphere and my waiter, Srdan was friendly, patient and attentive. The menu had a lot to choose from and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to be away from the horde of tourists.

Very good food with quality ingredients, price very reasonable. Staff was very friendly. If you want good gastronomy experience in Parenzo/Poreč you must definitely dine here.

Cafe

Epoca is a spacious bar located at the tip of the peninsula near Old Town, offering sea views and a circular wooden bar. It's a great spot for light bites like bruschetta, as well as refreshing drinks such as granita, frappes, and ice cream. The venue features wicker chairs and wooden tables outside, making it perfect for people-watching.
Really amazing place near the sea. We stopped by for a quick breakfast/snack, took coffee. It was really nice. The sandwiches with tuna are decent, nothing special, and the size of the portion is enough for two, same with the bruschetta.
Marija T — Google review
I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere and service at Caffe Bar Epoca. Located in the heart of Poreč, this café offers the perfect blend of charm, quality, and hospitality. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with smiles and professionalism, instantly creating a warm and inviting environment. The coffee was superb, and the selection of drinks and snacks will satisfy everyone. I must highlight their mojito—definitely the best in town! Additionally, the breakfast was simply amazing, with the avocado toast being a standout. And don't forget to try their excellent ice cream! The terrace offers a stunning view of the sea, making it the ideal spot to relax and enjoy time with friends or family. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and delightful place in Poreč. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

ALMOST ZERO ALCOHOL IN COCKTAILS Wife and I ordered two cocktails - Daiquiri and BBC - and even though they looked and tasted amazing, by the amount of alcohol in them I can say that those were not cocktails but something like mocktails. The offer is amazing though, the menu has a lot of choices, but be warned - you won't get even slightly buzzed here.
Ivan M — Google review
Great place bit hidden from the main street. Waiter was quick and very knowledgeable. Inside has very large retro bar with bar stools but the whole place has a modern feeling. Tasty coffee and we chose to sit outside. Terrace offers comfortable sea breeze and a nice view. Definitely recommend this place. TL;DR - hipster vibes, go for a coffee!

Lovely fantastic coffee place with views to the sea..... such relaxing place to seat and enjoy a drink or some food. My waiter was so nice and polite I felt like be at home They have a good coffee In here. Definitely highly recommend it to come to this place The toilets were clean and spacious

Taking a break from city rush, posing and enjoying a beautiful sunny day with allways delicious ILLY Affogato Espresso with ice-cream at Epoca - Coffee, food & cocktail Bar.
Vilijam L — Google review
We went there just because they have coffee Illy and front view of the sea. One waiter was a little bit rude when we asked to put pillow on the chair as it is metal. He said we have to wait till he finishes other chairs even though they were empty. They as well didn’t cover the terrace from the sun even though it was already quite hot to seat outside. But coffee was good. No free water to it though. Terrace itself is nice and little bit further from the hectic part of promenade.
Anastasiia K — Google review
We only stopped because we came by and really needed a coffee but definitely didn't regret the choice. The prices were surprisingly low and the drinks simply lovely with a lot of very interesting options to choose, Both the cocktail and coffee cards are very extensiv. I can definitely recommend the Biscolatto Caldo a biscuit, caramel and hot chocolate combination which tastes and looks stunning and also got a nice different textures to explore with the biscuit crumbs and fluffy cream. While we didn't eat there as we already had breakfast the plates we saw on the tables around as did look very inviting.

Blue Lagoon / Plava Laguna Beach is a man-made resort beach with water slides, pedal boats, and jet skis. It is partially stony and partly concrete, bordered by pine, cedar, and olive plants. The beach offers coffee bars, dining establishments, facilities for the disabled, a beach volleyball court, tennis courts, and mini-golf. Visitors can enjoy extraordinary views and natural shade while free parking is available.
Plava Laguna Beach consists of several connected beaches, more or less accessible rocks for entering the sea and a large pine forest with shade in the background. There are restaurants, sports activities and water sports. Poreč is very close, 15 to 30 minutes on foot or about 10 minutes by small train. The sea is clean, blue and salty!

Very nice and long beach. Only remarks are the small number of showers and completely off limits to dogs - which would be fine if there was a part designated as a dog beach but there isn't.

Was expecting bit better beach after reading few reviews, and seeing some pictures. Best part is that in nearby forest lives some squirrels that love to run around.

Croatia has blueflag beaches: means clean water etc plava has no blue flag. It holds kids facilities yet I would not let a kid swim here unless it has EXCELLENT swimmingskills. It looks.beautiful good for tanning. Did not see lifeguards. Water is deep and waves very strong. No restaurant/bar nearby. Not suitable for elderly or disabled.

Night club
Disco club
Byblos in Porec, Croatia is renowned for its vibrant nightlife and is considered the largest disco in the area. It attracts partygoers with world-famous DJs such as David Morales and Fatboy Slim regularly performing there. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a unique experience by taking a bus ride with the cheerful and music-loving driver Matko, who creates a pleasant atmosphere during the journey.
I went to Biblos and it was the best night of my life, not only because of the beauty of the place but especially because I met the best and most beautiful bartender in the place, Mihaela…
Pietro P — Google review
The staff is really rude. My friends and I (both male and female, 1 female was celebrating her birthday so she payed for our VIP area and the bottles (important for the rest of the story)) decided to go for a night out. While we were dancing and celebrating out of nowhere a worker came up to our table and completely ignored us girls (which were in the beginning of the table) to go up to our male friends and asked them if we were bothering them because she immediately assumed that since women are in the VIP area we are wh*res and we are trying to get with the guys to get free drinks. Especially on a so called “Girl’s night” in the club it was one of the most disrespectful and rude things we have ever experienced from any staff and ESPECIALLY since it was a female worker. But at least the DJ was good.
Ana M — Google review
I left Byblos in Poreč deeply disappointed. For a place that tries so hard to look “exclusive,” the overall experience was a letdown. The music was flat, repetitive, and completely uninspired — more like a background playlist than anything that could get a crowd moving. The staff were unfriendly and unapproachable, adding to the sense that customers are more of a burden than guests. But the real low point is their clumsy, overcomplicated payment system. Instead of simply accepting contactless cards — which they clearly already use as the underlying infrastructure — you’re forced to load money onto a wristband. On top of this pointless hassle, they even charge you a ridiculous €1 “fee” just for the privilege of depositing your own money. It feels like a scam dressed up as “convenience.” All in all, Byblos is a perfect example of style over substance: pretentious presentation, poor service, bad music, and a payment system that treats customers like cash machines. If you’re looking for a good night out in Poreč, look elsewhere.
Mattia D — Google review
I had to wait in line way to long, the girl at the top-up was treating us very unfriendly. I think it was a horrible experience and I will not visit this club ever again!
Marijn R — Google review
Byblos is the best, we met Lana at top up, she explained everything and makes the whole night feel better, her vibe, energy and smile really lift the place up
Cas Z — Google review
Dj was disappointing and the girl at the entrance cold unfriendly, but the other staff was great, especially Lana, we will come back just because of her

Night club
Saint & Sinner is a vibrant chain of clubs and beach bars that has become a staple in the nightlife scene of Umag and Porec. In Umag, the beach bar seamlessly transitions into a lively nightclub as night falls, while in Porec, it boasts two unique venues: one located right in the bustling downtown area and another nestled within the picturesque Zelena Laguna Resort.
Great atmosphere, amazing music. Barmans and waiters are doing great work. Low prices for drinks
Mladen J — Google review
The saint and sinner in Poreč is a nice place very stylish where youth goes to enjoy their time. The prices are very high for Croatia it’s expensive. The clubbing style dancefloor is quite selective, it’s a place where you go well dressed. A place it’s nice to visit but not my favorite bar at all
OSCAR G — Google review
This is absolutely unacceptable! It’s almost 4 a.m. and the terrible music from this so-called “club” is blasting so loudly that it’s impossible to sleep in the hotel across the street, even with the windows completely shut. This is not entertainment, this is torture. The music is awful, the volume unbearable, and there is zero respect for anyone outside the club. Why should people who did not choose to go there be forced to suffer through this nightmare? Let your paying guests enjoy it, but don’t ruin the night for the whole neighborhood! How is this even legal? Has anyone here ever heard of a noise regulation law in Croatia? Shameful! This is not a nightclub, it’s a public nuisance. Please spare people from this hell!
Гордеева Ю — Google review
An extraordinary night out. great music, fast service, friendly workers, workers entertain the guests. a very nice experience and a guaranteed good time, recommended for relaxation!
Alex — Google review
I can understand the 1 star reviews. I ordered three times a beer. Two times I had to ask multiple times to get my change (around 10 euro). One time I paid with card and a higher amount was “accidentally” typed in. Music is mostly Croation, probably the reason why it’s so empty the end of the evening… Can’t recommend this place
Maarten W — Google review
We had an amazing night yesterday in the club! As a group of 11 people, we were celebrating a bachelorette party and the music and DJ were top-notch! We cannot understand the negative reviews regarding the staff - the staff was incredibly attentive, fast and super friendly, especially one waiter who made sure no drunk guys bothered us if we didn't want them to. Yes the prices for the drinks/ bottles are more expensive, but it's a club, if you don't want to spend anything you should stay at home☺️ Highly recommended! 🍾
Sabina C — Google review
Superb club with great stuff and music program. Place you should visit when in Porec. Will come again!
Marko M — Google review

Restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque waterfront, Restaurant Sveti Nikola is a culinary gem that beckons food enthusiasts to indulge in its exquisite offerings. This upscale dining establishment boasts a stunning terrace with breathtaking views of the harbor and the nearby island, creating an enchanting atmosphere for any meal. The menu is a delightful showcase of traditional meat and seafood dishes, featuring highlights such as grilled octopus, fish filet drizzled in scampi sauce, and succulent beefsteak paired with tartufi sauce.
The service was really, really good. The staff were talking multiple languages and were extremely friendly and efficient. Seafood was fresh and could be prepared as you like - baked in oven, on the grill and more. Courses were beautifully done and some combinations of flavors were truly creative and tasted great. We went to dine there two times in the week we were in Poreč. The restaurant is located by the seaside, with view of the sea and the shore. It’s more of a fancy place, prices a bit higher than other restaurants. But absolutely worth it! The waiter who was serving us both times was wonderful and did his job perfectly. His name was Zeljko and he knew his food and wine, for sure. We will most definitely come back the next time we visit Poreč.
Solgunn V — Google review
Restaurant was highly rated so was excited to try it but was left disappointed. Carpaccio starter was fine but nothing to get too excited about. We ordered a risotto and seafood pasta for mains. The risotto looked like a bowl of soup with rice in it, and while the seafood itself was cooked well the pasta dish as a whole was very bland and flavourless. We decided against having dessert based on what we'd had and went elsewhere. What made this particularly disappointing was the price compared to other places nearby, didn't feel like the quality matched the cost. Positives were the wine, and our waiter was very nice. View out on the harbour is nice too. Overall, you can get a nicer meal for half the price nearby.
Peter F — Google review
Hello, how are you? I’m not so good. I was at this restaurant with my family today, and my experience was not the best. My father had undercooked meat. My risotto 🤌🏻 was not so great, my rice was hard and undercooked. My boyfriends risotto was the same scenario. But my mother had really great time with her spaghetti carbonara, she gives 5 ⭐️.
Vanesa P — Google review
The meals are delicious, the feeling of the place is also has its own vibe. I would reccommend fish fillet with aspargus and truffels if you like fish. The waitress was kind and friendly They even bring us a little cold appetizer.
Lajos M — Google review
Although not perfect, this restaurant is head and shoulder above other places in Poreč, in terms of the quality of the food. Their service is also exceptional. Mr. Nikola, the owner of the restaurant, would personally greet every guest during their stay, which is quite unusual and impressive. They have a daily special menu for both lunch and dinner. The lunch consists of three course and costs about 14 euro. The dinner has 4 courses and price is about 20 euro. I had the opportunity to try both, and I must say they offer exceptional value given the quality of the food, plus the excellent service. The calamari is my favorite - it is both fresh and delicious. I am however less impressed with the grilled fish. Somehow it tasted bland, and less tender, compared to the grilled fish I had last night at another local restaurant nearby.
Skywalker F — Google review
Wanted to go here for a while Had really high expectations which hadn't been completely fullfilled. Food is good Portions size are fare Loved the dessert and mushroom soup Main dish which was fish fillet was tasty but I found a small bone Which really shouldn't happen And vegetables that came with fish were really bland and overcooked. Calamari were really tasty. When it comes to service They did their best but something was lacking. There was this really tall waiter, he was really nice and helpfull even though he explained that he was new. All in all a good restaurant with lovely food and few things to work on.
Alex G — Google review
We were recommended to go to this restaurant and as soon as we got there we could see why. Everything was just so good. The tables looked great, the waiters were very smart and friendly, and all our food was excellent. Everything we had was delicious but a highlight was the fish panna cotta which was amazing! We loved absolutely everything about this restaurant and would recommend it to everyone.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The location is really nice, directly next to the water, offering a beautiful view that makes the dining experience even more special. What truly stood out was the friendly and attentive service that made us feel welcomed throughout our visit. Highly recommend!

expensive, good, excellent wines but food was used to be better and more inventive...last 2 years its not that surprising, but more expensive. Price is starting to be more than value...pasta with truffles was very nice, tuna was done correctly but taste was boring and bit smelly...
Tomas D — Google review
We had a lovely dinner at Divino, perfectly located on the promenade in Poreč. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing. We enjoyed traditional Croatian dishes — including amazing homemade pasta with seabass, capers, and olive oil, which was full of delicate, fresh flavors. As a complimentary treat, we received a delicious truffle cheese spread to start and a traditional Croatian spirit to end the meal. The black risotto, gnocchi with beef, and marinated anchovies were also excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. A truly wonderful dining experience — highly recommended!
Horia S — Google review
I’m very picky and usually the waiters are incredibly annoyed by me asking for things to be made without oil. HOWEVER. the waiters in Divino were accomodating, he went to the kitchen to check the ingredients of a dish, then he assured me multiple times that he told the chef to not add oil. The grilled veggies and squid actually came without any oil and the mixed salad was incredibly refreshing! I was really impressed. Thank you for the great service!

The staff at Divino are amazing. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. The waiters moved tables for us to accommodate a large group and were so attentive and kind. We appreciate their strong English, explanation of the menu and help and support with our little ones. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We ate here three times during our holiday and would love to come back again some day. Thank you!

Beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff and great food. Lovely atmosphere and location is to die for. If you can grab yourself a table with a front seat view of the sunset consider yourself lucky ! Their tiramisu especially deserves a shoutout, very light and the portion is just perfect, and an espresso to round out the meal hit the final spot. Well done to the team and the managers 👏🏼

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Divino restaurant! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and our waiter Gabriel truly made the evening special. He was incredibly kind and attentive, helping us find the perfect table with a great view. Gabriel also gave us excellent wine recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal, and he guided us through the menu with thoughtful suggestions. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere cozy and elegant, but Gabriel’s service truly elevated our entire experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

The waiter was very knowledgeable about wine and made excellent recommendations and even offered us a complimentary after dinner drink. It was nice to sit water side and people watch and relax. The cheese and prosciutto starter was enough to fill us up before dinner arrived.

Trg Marafor is a charming square nestled in the heart of Porec's old town, steeped in history and vibrant life. Once the focal point of a Roman military camp during Emperor Augustus' reign, this square showcases remnants of ancient temples dedicated to Mars and Neptune. While these structures are now mere ruins, they evoke a sense of nostalgia for the past. The square is adorned with beautiful architecture and lively cafes that capture the essence of Porec’s authentic atmosphere.
Lovely part of the town lots of restaurants bars good choices of foods for the region your in & the staff were very acomadateing & friendly, the architecture is interesting with different designs with the port a short walk away. 🇭🇷🇬🇧Želio bih vam zahvaliti na gostoprimstvu

(Translated by Google) The square is located at the intersection of the Cardo Maximus and the Decumanus, the ancient Roman forum, of which only a few remnants remain, such as the paved pavement. Besides hundreds of small shops, restaurants, and street food stalls, it's worth looking up and spotting the Venetian-style buildings, smothered in shop windows. Porec is definitely worth a stroll, at least for the Basilica and the narrow streets of the center, which deserve a five-star rating, but overtourism and too many shops would cause it to lose at least one star.

Bar
Nestled right on the sandy shores, Beach Bar Tequila is a vibrant hotspot that transforms from a casual snack haven during the day to a lively cocktail hub as night falls. With its prime location, it offers stunning views of Porec's old town, especially at sunset when the sky paints a breathtaking backdrop. The bar features live music on weekends and resident DJs throughout the week, creating an inviting atmosphere filled with retro tunes.
Probably the best located bar ever. On the beach, at the clear sea, panorama of Poreč Skyline and with the view on sunset. You can rent a sun bed, visit toilet. Very fine place.
Luboš B — Google review
The view is undeniably beautiful — that’s the one highlight of this place. Unfortunately, everything else falls short. The service is catastrophic: extremely slow, disorganized, and far from friendly. The menu is very limited, and what little they offer is heavily overpriced. Ice cream for 6 euros? That’s just ridiculous. Overall, the place feels overrated. With such poor service and inflated prices, it’s not worth the visit. We won’t be coming back.
Ursolina N — Google review
Nice views and good music - that's where it stops. Majority of cocktails could not be prepared due to no lime or cleaning of the coffee machine. Extremely slow service topped it of - 25min for basic drinks. Service ruins this otherwise beautiful bar
Maximilian U — Google review
It's hard not to appreciate the stunning location of Beach Bar Tequila – the view is fantastic. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by painfully loud music and painfully slow service. Dirty seating didn't help either. A missed opportunity in an otherwise perfect spot.
Jakub V — Google review
The sea of course is beautiful but everything else is just terrible. The staff just hates to work here, they are extremely rude, they don't care in the least about their customers. We came here because the beach is great in front of the bar. Service is slow, if they even serve you at all. Most of the time the staff is just angry that you dared to order something. Just quit and do something else if you hate your job this much!
Mr R — Google review
Good atmosphere and views, but service was bad, they "forgot" to tell us that we needed to say at the beginning that we want to pay with card. Mind you this was only for two cocktails. Cash only bar in 2025?! Feels like a scam.

Waiter took EXTREME long to come, and she came after one of us brought it to her attention that we were waiting 20 minutes already. Dirty tables, dirty menus. Tequila bar, but no tequila sunrise. Drinks and toast were ok.

Brulo Beach is one of the many stunning beaches in Porec, Istria. It's located in the southern part of the city and offers crystal-clear waters, making it a top choice for water enthusiasts. The area also features several hotels, including four-star options like Valamar Hotel Diamant and Valamar Crystal Hotel. Visitors can indulge in various water sports activities such as snorkeling, diving, and sailing or simply relax on the beach to soak up the sun.
Nice grass beech, crystal clear water, bar and restaurant available. You can rent beech chairs and an umbrella (8 EUR per thing) or lie a bit in a distance just under the oak trees or pines. And the walk through area to the beach is incredibly picturesque: lavender and oleanders, firs and ficuses, catalpas, cypresses, and what not! Leaving tomorrow morning - and do want to come back.

Despite all the good reviews saying how clean the water is, we experienced the opposite. After a long travel to this beach we stood shocked by the shore as a huge amount of thick brown dirt and foam covered the water completely. It was disgusting. Next day the water was still rather foggy and not clean. The beach itself is well organised with good facilities but the dirty water completely ruined it

Nestled in the charming coastal town of Porec, the Temple of Neptune stands as a testament to the region's rich history dating back to the 1st century AD. Once a grand structure dedicated to Neptune, the god of the sea, only remnants remain today, yet they evoke a profound sense of antiquity and reverence.
Free "visit". Quiet place, nice to see the vestiges and stones of the temples. If you are in Poreč, you should definitely stop by!

Dariusz J — Google review
Poreč used to have a forum (like Roman cities did back in the 1st century) and right here you can see the remains of what used to be a temple dedicated to the god of the sea, Neptune. This temple is the biggest in the Istria region even though only part of the foundation and wall remain.
Alejandro M — Google review
A peaceful spot near the end of the peninsula that Porec sits on. 2,000 year old ruins of the ancient temple of Neptune. No crowds bar a few cats. You can soak in the sense of history of the place along with the warm Istrian sun. Great spot to think, relax and enjoy. No entry fees, you just need to find the spot.

We were in Porec for just a few hours and we wanted something to eat. We saw this small street on the main road and there was this lovely place at the end of it. We had a plate for two person rich of any type of fish: it was absolutely delicious! And we was also other dishes passing next to us, for example with trufle, and they were simply amazing: their smell was very tasty. We would’ve love to try but after that plate we were very full. At the end, I can proudly say that the service has been amazing, they were very nice and lovely treating us like royals. They change our plate twice because it was full of the mussles pieces left. We were very surprised by the bill because it was super honest and very worthy. You need to go there if you are in Porec and you love good fish.

Aquapark Aquacolors in Porec is the largest water park in Croatia, offering over 20 water attractions, including 13 giant water slides and a 500-meter lazy river. It can accommodate thousands of visitors daily and is suitable for all ages. The park features a beachfront wave pool, a bar, and a kids' zone. Additionally, it boasts Crocodile Bay, a newly built relaxing zone with massages and large swimming pools.
I really enjoyed this aquapark! I even managed to go on some slides twice, and it was a lot of fun. The whole place was entertaining and well worth the visit. The one thing I would improve is the opening hours - it would be great if the park stayed open longer.

Great waterpark and not totally full. Parking ticket 3 eur extra There are enough space to lay down on gras without renting a parasol extra fee 9 EUR Ice cream up from 3-4,5 eur Speed pass only for 2-3 water slides. 20 eur extra per pass Please note, no refund for purchased tickets by heavy rains or storms. You can buy tickets online same day. However, you have to go to the counter to get the arm belt for purchasing inside the park

From an adults perspective I'd only visit here with a child. There's alcohol and some places you can get beer from. Despite what their website says you can bring your own food and drink in. We didn't as the website said otherwise but we noticed loads, dozens of families bringing in their own shade tents, cooler boxes, beers and food. All out in the open, not snuck in by any means. Get their for opening in you want to rent some chairs under a shade umbrella, they go fast in peak season. Same with lockers. We rented a small locker for our phones and money. The park provides you with a wrist band that you make purchases with (don't lose it) and you pay at the end.

We spent the day here today and had a good time. There is a good variety of rides , the croc bar is very cool and the kids enjoyed the lazy river. The problem here is the lack of staff and life guards. There are no life guards or staff looking over the lazy river or the pools except the wave pool, which the guy spent the whole time on his phone. Every time we past him we didn't see him look up. There's maybe more staff on site but we barely saw any apart from the ones manning a few of the rides that they were supposed to. This then meant there were a bunch of kids going mad in the lazy river and throwing in the rings at each other and jumping off the side, and another group taking all the free rings and building a wall to try and block the water flow. I mean, 30+ rings, and were actually laughing at people trying to get in when they were going up and taking them saying haha there's non free because we have them all. This would easily be stopped if there was adequate staff. The lights in some of the rides were also not working so you had to lean over and try and see when the previous person came out the end. It's a shame, as we did enjoy the day over all. We paid as we arrived and had no queuing, the rides we also didn't have to queue too long. I would definitely recommend, but the management of the park needs to improve.

This place is awesome! We spent 4 hours here and could've stayed longer. There's slides and activities for all ages and the longest we had to wait for a slide was about 10 minutes. A couplee of pro tips.... 1. Get the fast pass to skip any lines. 2. Check out their free entry on your birthday promotion!
Chris B — Google review
Great place to spend a day, great activities (I believe they were here because of Dalmaland's Birthday but I am not sure). If you are going I suggest you get tickets for both the aqua and fun park as it's not too big and if you got to only 1 it can get pretty boring pretty quickly.
Borko N — Google review
Not worth it: only come here, if you can enjoy 90% of the rides. For me on 8 September this was 88 euro with parking and safe rental and two sunbeds (2x person). The water was too cold. The lazy river was flowing too slow. I avoid the slides. So only thing left for me is sunbathing but then it absolutely not worth paying so much.

Wine bar
Restaurant
Bacchus is a well-known wine bar and shop located near the Euphrasian Basilica in Porec. It offers a wide selection of wines, including Malvazija, Muskat, and red Refosk, as well as family-made rakija grappas. The bar also serves authentic Istrian products such as prosciutto, cheese, anchovies, and cod.
Dec. '24: Just great - atmosphere, staff,..., just keep on going... Okt. '24: It would be hard to imagine a better bar - great atmosphere where you forget time, great location, friendly staff, excellent food and drink offer, outside the main season it's even a shade better because of less crowd. Hats off for maintaining the bar at such a level for years, I definitely recommend it and will come again...

Tucked into a lively corner of a small alley, this place is buzzing both inside and out. Always popular and full of energy, the constant flow of people combined with its quirky corner location gives it a fun, funky vibe. A great spot to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy some top-notch people-watching.

One of the best places we have ever been. Great atmosphere in the charming streets of Porec. Excellent service: we (and our two dogs) felt warmly welcomed. And the food and wine? We had the seafood plate for two, the "salami" plate for one and local wine. Absolutely TOP. Hope to be back soon."

What a great experience! It has been a while since I had a great experience like that. Amazing atmosphere. Great house wine, amazing truffled olive oil and the generous charcuterie was one of a kind!

Super friendly service and really delicious dishes. We had the mixed salad and the Mare/seafood platter. Both was great value for money! The fish had a yummi seasoning and tasted very fresh. The atmosphere of the bar is super comfy and rustic. Payment with Euro or Kuna, cash or card is possible. Really recommendable place!!

Takeout Restaurant
Artha is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant located near Porec city market, making it a convenient choice for those exploring the area. The menu offers a variety of options, from pasta with truffles to fresh salads and top-quality desserts. It has garnered rave reviews for its delicious and wholesome food cooked with love, including rich risottos, nutritious salads, and mouthwatering platters. The restaurant also serves fantastically wholesome soups and veggie standards like fresh vegetables and tofu.
Well deserved high score on reviews! The staff are so lovely! The food options really make you to want to go back and try everything! Tasty meals, larger than what they seem on the menu ! Good quality! Made in-house 🥰 Lovely atmosphere, so relaxing!

We were on holiday in Porec and were really positively surprised that there is such a good vegan restaurant there. Service was really friendly and courteous. I can only say one thing about the food: it was perfect! I can only recommend it with all my heart!

Thank you dear Artha team for cooking with so much love 🥰 Delicious vegan meals and desserts, friendly staff and lovely ambience. Our recommendation are the Fu variations (especially the one with green pepper sauce) and Panna Cotta. But everything else we tried was also very yummy and most important cruelty-free ❤️

very good vegan kitchen, prices very ok. a little, family owned restaurant with a lot of self-made products. even our kids were happy with their food. a little jewel off the tourist-mainstream. next time we are in porec we will visit Artha again!

While looking for vegan options in Istria this restaurant will pop up quickly, due to already very good reviews, but it’s a rare thing that someone comes with high expectations and the place seems even better, this restaurant does. Lovely owners (family) and very tasty food, good portions and fair prices. Great place for both vegetarians/vegans and those that are not, but are happy to just eat tasty, non-bland vegan food. Will re-visit again on this trip to Istria, and on every subsequent trip.
Zoran D — Google review
Cozy family business with super tasty vegan food. The Fu was fantastic and totally go for a desert. Cake and panna cotta fingerlicking good. They know what they’re talking about or should I say what they’re cooking up ;) we had lunch here and food was up super fast for the two of us. Places were cosy and quiet. Nicely shaded and menu in all different languages. Definetly recommended ❤️

Nestled in a charming corner of Porec, Restoran Hrast stands out as a delightful alternative to the typical tourist dining experience. Established in 1971, this cozy eatery boasts a lovely terrace that offers breathtaking views of the historic center just across the bay. What sets Hrast apart is its commitment to homemade cuisine; they take pride in crafting many dishes from scratch, including their signature Istrian fuz pasta twists and delectable cheese ravioli.
Wonderful restaurant. Just had a fabulous family holiday lunch here. Really welcoming to visitors. Serious about provenance and history. And great cooking - the smoked mussel risotto with walnut and cheese ice cream was amazing and flavourful. And the view is great too. So glad we took the walk from the old town. Very much recommended (thanks Time Out).
Andy B — Google review
Nice restaurant with a great terrace and view, only few meters from the sea. Service is also top notch, food presentation on a very high level. Remark I have is for the lack of taste in the ingredients. When you see how the plates look and the prices of meals, you (or at least I) expect a lot more than is delivered. Mixing truffles with delicate fish fillet also does not help much since in the fish dish you want to taste the fish, not just truffles. In general a nice restaurant with good looking dishes, but lacking the taste in them. Especially for the price range they are asking which in our case was 100€/person…
Marko M — Google review
Modernly prepared seafood dishes from cold starters to main courses. A special recommendation is "squid alla bolognese". Excellent food preparation and presentation. Solid wine selection. The prices are high, but they don't leave a bitter taste after paying the bill. Food 5/5, service 3.5/5, ambience 4/5, price/quality ratio 4/5.
Jack S — Google review
This restaurant is for sure underrated. We had a delicious dinner, none of the dishes disappointed. None. Not to mention an average of 30 eur per person and the professional service. Once again, the food was delicious. The surprises don't end here. When the waiter brought the bill, he gave me a discount. What a nice gesture. I will always eat here. Whenever I can.
Ajet R — Google review
We had a fantastic evening. Great food , great service and nice ambience! Totally worth a visit
D C — Google review
The food was exquisite. Every dish was made with high quality local ingredients, subtly layered and expertly arranged, with a view towards wine pairing. The wines served and available were probably the best overview of the Istrian wines you can get in a non Michelin starred restaurant. The restaurant is worthy of visit just for the wines themselves! The hosts were very attentive to all of our needs, the food was modified according to our dietary restrictions, and the hosts made every effort to make us comfortable and advise us on best meal and wine pairings. They get fresh daily fish catch and will talk with you about how best to prepare it. All the fish and seafood dishes were excellent. The non fish foods are local and brilliantly portray the Istrian cuisine and terroir. Deserts are worthy of a review of its own! The restaurant is best enjoyed as a slow dining place as the food and wine really shine if you take the time to enjoy them slowly. We went there twice with different groups of friends and never spent less than 4 hours on 4 course meals, and we enjoyed every minute of that time. Just as a note, this is a fine dining place so adjust your expectations accordingly.
Ozren T — Google review
Every now and then, you come across a place that simply clicks with you—and Hrast is one of those rare finds. Maybe it’s the exceptionally fresh, creative, and diverse food, the thoughtful wine list, the warm service, or the beautiful view from the inviting terrace. Or maybe it’s the fact that it’s run by a talented and genuinely caring family with great taste. Most likely, it’s the perfect blend of all of these things. Easily one of the best spots in town. We loved it.
G W — Google review
Restaurant Hrast impressed us tremendously with its food, service and ambiance! A fantastic dining experience. The tastes of the food were as wonderful as their presentation. The view of the Old City is absolutely fantastic over the blue waters of the Adriatic. If I recall, Restaurant Hrast is the longest operating, highest calibre, family-owned and operated restuarant in the area. I strongly recommend you trying and enjoying this excellent restaurant in Porec.
