The Olde Pink House is a top choice for experiencing authentic Southern cuisine in Savannah. Housed in an elegant 18th-century Georgian mansion, the restaurant offers a sophisticated dining experience with portrait-lined walls, fireplaces, and shimmering chandeliers. The menu features inventive Southern dishes including seafood, beef, pork, and chicken options as well as classic Southern favorites like shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes.
Absolutely perfect experience here! We came here with a very large group for a bachelorette party and we got a private dining room upstairs. They personalized the menu for the party and we enjoyed an incredible 3 course meal. The biscuits and butter were so delicious we could have filled up on those alone. We also really enjoyed the pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes, the salmon, and all of the desserts including key lime pie and praline basket. The staff was very friendly and even told us about the history of the house and some ghost stories too!

The food was absolutely amazing!! The biscuits are fantastic, possibility the best I have ever had. We had the fried green tomatoes for our appetizer. I had the special, short ribs, my husband had the pecan crusted chicken. My husband and I ate here to celebrate our anniversary. The place is gorgeous, we failed to realize it is more of a casual dress style. However, they still let us enjoy our evening with them. We did have some trouble reading our menu due to the darkness of the room. They did have candles to make it more romantic but they did not give off enough light. The manager even remembered us and wished us a happy Anniversary on our way out!!

We made reservations for five at the Pink House months earlier and it was wonderful. The property is beautiful and is in a great location easy to walk to. The service was five star, they were attentive and answered all our questions. We ordered chicken pot pie, the bourbon glazed pork loin was medium rare and it paired well with the pecan glazed sweet potato and collared greens which were the best I ever had. The fried chicken looked great and the portion was generous. The interior was beautifully decorated. We sat in the green room which had a cozy fireplace and a magnificent chandelier. This was definitely a must see.

I cannot express enough just how lovely our dining experience was. We went in for lunch and enjoyed it so much came back for a light dinner at the bar. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. When the host walked us to our table it wasn't quite ready yet so he gave us a quick guided tour of a few rooms while we waited. When I couldn't find the bathroom I asked a buser to point me in the right direction and he stopped what he was doing to walk me to the restroom while providing interesting facts about the house. Our bartender in the evening was TJ, it was his birthday and he had a parade of well wishers stopping by, which just added to the friendly atmosphere. We even got to enjoy a lovely performance of Happy Birthday by a member of staff. The food didn't disappoint, and the cocktails were delicious! We loved our experience fun start to finish!

I’ve lived in Savannah for almost 5 years already and never had the chance to visit The Olde Pink House until 2 weeks ago, and I can say that it’s truly a Savannah jewel, starting with the building that has lot of history and you can noticed that is a huge restaurant since the moment you walk in. The service is phenomenal, truly they have 100% customer service, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing, the menu is different between the lunch and dinner but I’m so happy I got the chance to try the Fried Chicken, it was delicious, my favorite so far in Savannah, it come with green collars and mashed potatoes everything was so good. I had the praline basket dessert, it was awesome, it blowed my mind and it’s a great option for dessert, it has a mix of flavors that will make you fall in love with it. I definitely will come back to try the other stuff in the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant when you’re traveling, but consider to make reservations in advance for sure.

Do yourself a favor: go to The Olde Pink House while in Savannah. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed with big smiles and friendly Staff. We were seated by a charismatic Host in a great location upstairs. Our Server, Dennis, showed up immediately with a welcoming smile and caring, genuine attitude. He brought us some tasty homemade cheese straws, while we chose our entrees. We had great conversation with Dennis as he educated us on the history of the house and the city. We decided to get the fried chicken and the special, which was fried flounder in a tarragon spice on a bed of seafood risotto. I will tell you with all honesty that the fried chicken is the best we have ever had, and we are from the South. With every bite, you can taste the history of the house and the city. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, perfectly cooked. The chicken stayed hot from the time it arrived at the table to the last bite. It was truly magical. The special was also well cooked and full of flavor. Our experience was perfect and would absolutely go back. We've told everyone about the fried chicken and I could not wait to write a review so more people will know just how delicious it is. The Olde Pink House is full of character, personality, great Staff and wonderful food. Go to the Olde Pink House: you will be so glad you did.

We were only in Savannah for a couple of days and our tour guide highly recommend we have dinner here. She also mentioned that we would need to make a reservation - the only complicating factor was that we were travelling with our Great Dane. I called the night before to see if it were possible to reserve an outdoor table due to having a dog. The girl had to check with a manager and she quickly came back to phone to say that they could do it as long as we were ok with it either being really hot or raining - we absolutely understood and it comes with travelling with a dog. We arrived a few minutes early, they opened the door for us as we walked up the steps and warmly welcomed us. They seated us right away at our outdoor table. Maggie was our server and she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and ensured our dog had a water bowl. We were also taken care of by one of the managers (Mr. Weyman (I hope I’m spelling that right). He was a very kind gentleman full of that southern hospitality and made sure we were good throughout our whole meal. He even brought out a candle stick for our desserts because we were celebrating my birthday. The food was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, salmon & pork tenderloin dishes. We finished it off with the praline basket and pecan pie. Overall this was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Every single staff member was kind, generous, and full of southern hospitality. We cannot recommend this place enough.

My husband and I recently dined at The Olde Pink House, and once again, it reminded us why this place is such a beloved Savannah treasure. We started with the mac & cheese balls—crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. For my entree, I ordered the black bean veggie burger, which was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. My husband chose the fish, served with grits and collard greens, and he couldn’t stop raving about how fresh and flavorful everything was. The service was flawless—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. And of course, part of the magic here is the setting. Touring the house is an experience in itself; every room is stunning, each with its own unique charm and history. It truly feels like stepping back in time while enjoying a world-class meal. We’ve visited The Olde Pink House many times over the years, and it’s consistently phenomenal. No matter how many trips we make to Savannah, it’s always worth the visit. A must for anyone who loves exceptional food in an unforgettable atmosphere.

Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room is a long-standing family-owned Southern diner in Savannah, serving up generous portions of traditional Southern cuisine at communal tables since 1943. This popular spot has attracted attention from notable figures like President Obama and continues to draw crowds with its family-style meals featuring fried chicken, butter beans, red rice, collard greens, mac and cheese, and candied yams.
Visiting here was such a unique experience! Do expect to wait in line but it will be worth it. Erin stood outside and told us about the life of Mrs. Wilkes which was fascinating. We purchased the cookbook and we were impressed with every attention to detail. We also got to meet Mrs.Wilkes granddaughter and she was so kind. The food was delicious and the biscuits were outstanding!! They told us they make 600 every day and we know why!!

We had the chance to visit Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room while in Savannah, and let me tell you, it was 100% worth the wait! The family-style setup was such a unique and special experience. I think there were 22 or 23 bowls of food on the table. Everything from fried chicken to collard greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and more. Every bite tasted like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen. Even though the day was very hot, the staff was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. They made sure everyone was taken care of, offering water, shade, and kind words to help us through the wait. Their warmth and care made it all the more enjoyable. If you’re in Savannah and want a real taste of Southern cooking and hospitality, don’t miss Mrs. Wilkes. It’s more than a meal, it’s a memorable experience. But the food will always be worth the wait!!
Kyle M — Google review
Waited for about 30 min in a line outside to enter. There are only about 5-6 large tables inside and you are seated with people you don’t know but you quickly get to know everyone. Food is served family-style in bowls which are then passed around the table (like an old fashioned sit-down family meal). Ambiance is great. Food is tasty and plentiful, and service is friendly and top notch. Restaurant is located on a beautiful street - definitely recommend for a one-of-a-kind experience! If looking for fancy, fine dining this isn’t it. You’ll get nothing but down home southern comfort food and hospitality here. No menu to order from - family-sized portions are already on the table when you enter (all you can eat). It’s more like visiting someone’s home for a meal rather than being served.
Ell T — Google review
Yes the is a usually a wait to get in, but grab a beverage and line up - you will not be disappointed. This is family style dining NOT to be missed if you’re visiting Savannah. It’s a set menu, the food is soul food - collards, fried chicken etc. it’s like having lunch with your new friends and family. A great experience and only $40 - a bargain.
Mark A — Google review
One of the best spots for Southern cooking in Savannah! The fried chicken is absolutely incredible, and every classic side—mac and cheese, greens, cornbread—is just as good. I love the family-style dining concept; it feels like you’re eating at Grandma’s house. From the warm welcome at the door to the genuinely kind waitstaff, the Southern hospitality here is unmatched. A must-visit if you’re in town!
Carson S — Google review
If you’re anywhere near Savannah, you must go to Mrs. Wilkes for a meal. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine Southern hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the kind of place where it feels like Sunday dinner at Grandma’s — if Grandma happened to be a five-star cook. The meal was served family-style, and it was a true Southern spread — generous, hearty, and absolutely delicious. The meats were the undeniable stars of the table: tender fried chicken with perfectly crispy skin, smoky pulled pork that melted in your mouth, and slow-cooked beef stew. Each meat was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and clearly made with love. The sides were no afterthought either. We were treated to creamy mac and cheese, tangy collard greens, buttery cornbread, fluffy mashed potatoes with rich gravy, fried okra, and so many more. Every dish had its own distinct flavor and homemade charm — nothing tasted store-bought or rushed. The balance of savory, sweet, and spicy flavors was spot on, and everything was served piping hot and replenished with a smile. What really elevated the whole experience was the service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, always ready with a fresh pitcher of sweet tea or a recommendation for what to try next. They made us feel like we were part of the family — something you just can’t fake. If you’re craving a meal that’s both comforting and deeply satisfying, this Southern family-style spot delivers in every way. Come hungry, leave happy, and don’t forget to save room for the peach cobbler and banana pudding, they are sweet ending to a truly spectacular meal.

We went to Savanna Georgia on a day trip. We heard the place to eat was Mrs. Wilkes. We stood in line for 2 hours. We made friends while waiting to get in line. It’s a family style all you can eat restaurant. you sit next to people you don’t know and talk about everything and you get to know them and become friends. The food service was great. If you are in Savanna We recommend you visit Mrs Wilkes you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious classic southern cooking served family style. Every dish was amazing, so come hungry! The fried chicken and greens were some of the best I've ever had. Fair warning, it's first come first serve and they're open until they run out of food. You will wait in line outside, but once you're seated you eat immediately. Cash Only!

If you're on the hunt for a taste of authentic Southern comfort food, look no further than Sisters of the New South. Nestled in Victory Heights, this charming eatery boasts vibrant blue tables and an inviting tree mural that sets a warm atmosphere. The menu is a delightful homage to family traditions, featuring beloved dishes like fried chicken and slow-cooked oxtails—each recipe lovingly passed down through generations.
Home cooking with WELL seasoned food. My family and I met a beautiful family visiting from Italy 🇮🇹 and they gave us a rundown on what to order. Just so happened everyone ordered something different and shared it with each other. So we did the same. All of it was so delicious! I ordered the baked chicken, which was very tender and moist, sweet potatoes were just yummy! The taste of a hint of marshmallow was a favorite of mine. The yellow rice was just right, and the buttermilk cornbread with green beans was amazing. My husband had the smothered pork chops. I tried 😩 not to eat his food up. My sons had fried chicken and ox tails. They ate every drop, so I know they enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

Today I ordered collards, Mac and cheese, and fried chicken. I lost my receipt, a ,"young" lady who rang me up did not tell me my total or say thank you, this is due to lack of training 😉. The food was fair the greens were tender but very oily and cooked with a generous dossing of sugar. In my opinion (sugar) does not need to be in greens. I like my greens tender and flavored with cooking meat, no cooking meat was present in the serving of greens. I think some upgrades in presentation, and taste would be more appealing for dining in and another visit. Overall, its okay, the chicken and Mac were indeed flavorful. One of the waiters asked me if I was a first time visitor-she gave me a discount and my plate came out to $13, a nice perk.

I was here 4 days ago for my niece birthday celebration from NC, it’s was 9 of us, some of us wasn’t happy at all with our food. I don’t ever have to go back there again, I got fried fish with cabbage, Lima beans and tomatoes and rice my fish had no seasoning my tomatoes and rice was dry no taste, my cabbage and Lima beans was good. I had sweet potato pie, no no no. And I was so disappointed in the cleanliness of this place, I had to ask someone to clean my table off the trash can was overflowing. It was like 6ish/ 7 in the evening but it breaks my heart to see this in a place of business. I saw a mop in the kitchen that was Black/dirty omg , I was scared to go in the restroom, I hope they get this together. Please take this as constructive criticism and not a bash.

Let me tell you the food was just like Guy described it. It danced on my taste buds. The seasoning was dynamic. The service was phenomenal. Good seating. Portions were too much for me. The atmosphere was one of a kind. Come from anywhere idc to get some of the best soul food the state has to offer! OMM

They are very generous with the servings. Huge oxtails, an order of meat and 3 sides, vegetarians like me get 4 sides.

The girls were super sweet and patient with the 3 of us. They weren't busy so it wasn't a problem. The food was really good. The portions are huge! Everything I ate was delicious! The fried chicken, Lima beans, greens n sweet potatoes were amazing. The restaurant definitely could have been cleaner and needs serious upgrades but you can't argue with good food!
Jamie M — Google review
This is one of my favorite soul food restaurants in this area. I always enjoy their lunch specials. A meat and two sides for a very reasonable price that won't break the bank. I enjoy the fried chicken the most as it's seasoned to perfection. All the sides are so flavorful, you won't go wrong choosing any of them. I love that the staff is friendly. Parking can be a little challenging at times. Just be patient while driving through the lot.

We had fried chicken, mac and cheese, baby limas, red rice. All was good except baby limas. They were cooked in something I'm not used to. Lunch special $7.99 including drink. They also have option for vegetable tray. Service was great and prices are very affordable.

The Pirates' House is a long-standing pirate-themed restaurant housed in a historic inn that was once an experimental garden. Saved from demolition in the 1940s, it now serves hearty Southern fare such as Low Country Spring Rolls, Shrimp and Grits, and Honey Pecan Fried Chicken. The restaurant's location near River Street makes it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
Such an amazing experience at The Pirate’s House in Savannah! The history alone makes it worth a visit. it’s the oldest restaurant in Savannah, dating back to the 1700s, and you can truly feel that charm and rich history throughout the space. The staff is so knowledgeable and eager to share stories about the building’s past, which makes dining here feel like stepping back in time. Tom was our waiter and did a fantastic job. Even with a packed house, he was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. The food was excellent, and came out quickly. the shrimp and grits were hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and my husband’s fried chicken was amazing (it’s literally half a chicken plus sides!). Not pictured are the Low Country spring rolls because they disappeared before we could even take a photo, they were that good. If you’re visiting Savannah, The Pirate’s House is an absolute must. Make sure to take the full tour and visit the gift shop upstairs.

Great option for a meal in Savannah! Food was great, especially the honey pecan fried chicken. A nice little spin on the classic dish. Loved the honey glazed biscuits that were brought out prior to the meal. Good size place but seems well run with solid service. Early day buffet looked great too. They do take reservations so a good idea to do that to eliminate your wait. Also has a large gift shop upstairs with stuff for the kids.
Sam T — Google review
The Pirates House is definitely more of a tourist spot than a foodie destination. The restaurant itself is neat and has a cool history. The biscuits and the she crab soup were the highlights of the meal. Unfortunately, everything else fell kind of flat. I ordered the crab melt which was loaded with red peppers even though the menu didn’t mention it, and it overpowered the dish. I had house made chips as my side and they were so stale that they were inedible. My husband had the chicken salad croissant sandwich and it didn’t taste seasoned at all. If you’re looking for a unique Savannah experience, you may like this place, but don’t expect a standout meal.
Brooke L — Google review
The Pirates’ House is a must-visit stop in Savannah for anyone who enjoys great Southern food with a side of history! Located just a block from River Street, this restaurant dates back to 1753 and was once an inn for sailors and, according to local legend, a gathering place for pirates. You can still feel that old-world charm in every creaky floorboard and historic room. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and they were excellent — plenty of flavor, the perfect portion size, and beautifully balanced with just the right amount of spice. There was also a great looking buffet with lots of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and full of fun stories about the building’s past (ask about the tunnels!). Whether you’re a foodie, a history lover, or just in search of that classic Savannah experience, The Pirates’ House delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!
Stephen C — Google review
Pirates do live here. And they will come around and try to steal your doubloons unless you order a lot of food - like th best she crab soup in town, the fried green tomatoes, the gumbo, and their award winning pecan fries chicken. All very good. It was like eat 3 meals all at once, but you need to have a proper southern meal like this if you're in Savannah.

One of the Oldest Buildings in the United States, alot of people say Haunted. We had the Honey Pecan Fried Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. 100% will get again and Highly Recommend. The Crab Dip with Pita chips was great as well. Take the pirate tour and look in every room even if you're not eating in there. We dined in the Captains room but they all are pretty interesting to say the least. We shared and they split our meal on 2 plates.
Jeff C — Google review
The atmosphere was really nice and peaceful. The food was cuisine. And the service exceptional! I highly recommend this place especially if you have children. They had a blast. And we topped it off with souvenirs from the gift shop. Thanks for an exceptional brunch!
Cristi K — Google review
The Pirate's House offers a unique dining experience filled with history and delicious food. There is a wonderful variety on the menu that incorporates southern charm with a touch of Pirate's! Pirate's wander through the dining room and are willing to share the history of the area, as well as some great pirate and ghost stories! (Tips.. are appreciated... they are Pirate's after all!) Overall, it is an amazing dining experience for all ages! Because the facility is older, and built in stages, there are several small steps to be aware of between the various rooms, but the staff are quick to let you know to watch for them.

The Lady & Sons, a popular eatery by Paula Deen, continues to draw crowds despite controversies. The buffet offers classic Southern dishes like fried chicken and collard greens, while the menu features items such as fried green tomatoes and peach barbeque grouper. Reservations are recommended due to the restaurant's popularity. Housed in a historic 200-year-old building near City Market, this three-story restaurant is known for its delicious Southern home cooking and the celebrity chef's notoriety.
We made reservations so we had no trouble getting a table. We went with Family Style and we chose The Sons which consisted of 3 down home dishes 4 of Paula’s famous sides for the table. We decided on. Paula's Fried Chicken, Pot Roast and Chicken and Dumplings. Baked Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, BBQ Baked Beans, Coleslaw. It’s also all you can eat! It also comes with your choice of desserts too. Which we took home because we had no room left for it! All four of us were very satisfied. Everything tasted great. The baked beans were incredible. Chicken and dumplings were a little on the salty side though. If you are going to be in the area definitely give it a try! You won’t be disappointed. You can also shop the gift shop. Lots of things to look at!

Ms. Paula Deen is the QUEEN OF SOUTHERN COOKING, hands down!! Very Friendly staff & service . I had collard greens , fried cat fish, fried chicken , buttered rice , pot roast, chicken & dumplings, cheese biscuits , yams , gooey butter cake , peach cobbler and my favorite, banana pudding . The fried chicken & fried catfish were seasoned perfectly. They came out hot & fresh. You will leave this place , full & satisfied ! The restaurant also has a cute gift shop. I bought a few bottles of her seasonings so hopefully I can create some of her delicious food in my kitchen. Love you , Ms Paula

Home-style Southern cooking with heroic portion sizes and vampire-slaying biscuits. We opted for the lunch boxes, which—let’s be honest—could moonlight as dinner boxes. Generously packed and perfect for sharing later in the evening. Fried Catfish: Shockingly good, even for someone who doesn’t normally swim in the seafood lane. The coating was crisp and seasoned just right, while the fish itself was light, delicate, and far from “fishy.” Fried Chicken: Southern comfort perfected. Moist and juicy, it struck that beautiful balance where the seasoning enhances without drowning out the flavor of the chicken itself. Sweet Potatoes: Hands down the best we've had at a casual sit-down spot. Creamy, subtly sweet, and comforting in every bite. Cheddar Garlic Biscuits: Let’s talk star power. Buttery beyond reason with a punch of garlic that could ward off supernatural threats. If Dracula was roaming the streets of Savannah, one whiff of these biscuits would send him running. They were that potent... and that delicious. Southern hospitality was on full display. The staff kept things friendly and efficient, with smiles that matched the warm ambiance of the space. Everything felt easy and laid-back, just like a good afternoon meal should. Lady & Sons doesn’t just serve food—it serves satisfaction. Whether you’re a seasoned lover of Southern cooking or new to its soulful appeal, this spot leaves you full, happy, and maybe with a few extra biscuits tucked away for later.

Even when we are just traveling through Savannah we stop at Lady and Sons for a meal. I can't believe I am posting a bad review on Lady and Sons. Sadly we haven't had a chance to get to Savannah since COVID. From what I understand, (from my wonderful server) the changes came after COVID. We had no idea the buffet was no longer an option. And that the chicken potpie, my favorite! I was not aware that it had been removed from the menu as a regular dish. And was placed on as a special. The potpie was not only cold, but watery. Not the creamy delicious pie I had become accustomed to 😭! I have been eating there for close to 30 years. I have never had a bad meal. My husband enjoyed his chicken meal. And my granddaughter enjoyed a vegetable meal! She loved the green beans and fries!

If ever in Savannah, I must try Paula Deen’s restaurant The Lady & Sons, so we did. On our first night, I made sure that I made reservations online for the following day. We got to the restaurant and it felt like eating at someone’s home. Nothing fancy. Plastic dishes, very relaxed atmosphere. The menu, I must admit was a little confusing because its not extensive but they offer family style dining where you choose one, two or three entrees and shareable sides. This wasn’t going to work for us because there are picky eaters in my party. Therefore, we opted for individual dinners. I chose the fried chicken with mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and peach cobbler. I did order their “best Bloody Mary “ drink but it wasn’t to my liking. My family enjoyed their dinners, overall it was a nice family experience with southern home cooking food.

We took My Husband to The Lady and Son’s for Father’s Day on June 15th, 2025 and he loved it. We all did. This was our first visit to this location. We’ve visited two other locations before. Gatlinburg Tennessee and Myrtle Beach South Carolina. The Tennessee restaurant is our favorite because that’s the one that we go to most often. I loved the variety of the Savanna location menu. I love their fried chicken, cream corn, macaroni and cheese and cheese biscuits. Everything was delicious. We had to wait about 20 or 30 minutes to be seated so we went to the store and shopped around a little. That’s the best part of going to the restaurant. You get to shop all of the neat items that they sell. Everything is always so beautiful colorful and affordable. Unfortunately there was a bad thunderstorm going on as we finished out dinner so we had to stay in the restaurant until it subsided. We were entertained by watching Paula’s cooking video on the monitor inside the store. We can’t wait until we are able to enjoy our next meal there🤗

Wasn’t overly impressed by the food, wife had the fried chicken which she said was delicious however not a very large portion, sides were good not great. I had the chicken and dumplings and was disappointed, not something I typically would order either but wanted to try something different. Way too salty and the chicken wasn’t tender. We did have desert, peach cobbler and bread pudding, both were good but again not great.

We were seated earlier than our reservation time, which was a nice. Our server was attentive, and we enjoyed a family-style dinner. The food was hot and delicious — I especially liked the chicken and the collard greens.

Treylor Park is a vintage-chic restaurant with a charming outdoor seating area that offers creative Southern comfort eats, cocktails, and beer. The menu features unique options like peanut butter and jelly wings and fried bologna alongside more traditional fare, making it a great spot for adventurous eaters as well as those seeking familiar dishes. The super-casual dress code adds to the relaxed atmosphere where diners can enjoy their meal in the fresh air on a cozy patio adorned with string lights.
We really enjoyed our meal here! The food was unique and so yummy! Chris was our server, and he was phenomenal. 10/10. We really loved the Treylor Park Nachos. The pimento deviled eggs were also yummy, and the pancake chicken tacos were delicious. The Ahi tuna sliders were really good, too. Oh, we tried to Treylor Park cocktail they had as well. It was fun and delicious. Definitely give this place a try!

What a cool place! Treylor Park has such a unique and off-the-wall menu — definitely not your typical spot. The name alone grabs your attention, and the vibe inside lives up to it. The staff was incredibly courteous, and the food? Absolutely delicious. I had a great glass of sweet tea that hit the spot. Highly recommend this place to anyone — the food is fantastic!

I came here for the second time and it was just as good as the first. The staff are very nice and friendly, which makes the atmosphere welcoming. The food is delicious, full of flavor and well prepared. I also love that they’re open until 1 am, perfect for late-night cravings. The only downside was that the bathroom wasn’t very clean, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it’s definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

We came to Treylor Park because of the many good reviews on Google. We wanted to try the many different combinations of foods, they were not usual! We loved the atmosphere - indoor or outdoor, the staff was great & the food was good! I had the popular Apple pie with bacon chicken sandwich with waffle fries. It was good but a bit dry. My husband had the Sloppy Joe with banana peppers. It was delicious! It's not too hot, either! Our grandson had the Smash burger, and he loved it. The best part of the meal was the pb & j chicken wings! We all thought they were great! 😋 Our neighbors had the hot dog and nachos, and they raved about how good they were. Our fountain drinks were good. Our server was outstanding! The place is small, but it must be a local favorite because on a Monday evening, it was packed! You will have to wait a few minutes. Nice cozy place for a bite to eat or share a snack and have a cocktail or beer.

✨ First Visit: One, Two, Three, Four pictures are from our first visit. The food, drinks, and service were exceptional. The cherry cola drink and the Miyagi beef tacos were probably my favorite. They’re open until 2 AM, which is great since many restaurants nearby close by 12. Prices are reasonable for the good taste and quality you get. ⸻ ✨Second Visit: Pictures 5, 6 and 7 are from our second visit. They changed the tacos, and they tasted just okay this time. The drinks were also just okay, and the service was subpar compared to our first visit. Probably going to give this restaurant another chance, hoping they get back to the level we enjoyed the first time.

Elizabeth's on 37th is a renowned fine dining restaurant located in a beautifully restored mansion dating back to the early 1900s. Situated in Savannah's Thomas Square Streetcar neighborhood, this romantic eatery is celebrated for its Southern-influenced seasonal menu featuring fresh local produce, seafood, and meat. The elegant ambiance and impressive wine list add to the allure of this establishment.
Truly memorable 7 course formal dining experience. Better to come hungry, because even with the little plates of each course it is a filling experience. We went there for my wife's birthday and enjoyed every single dish. The service was exemplary and thoughtful throughout. We especially liked the appetizer, and fish courses. We tried separate items when there were choices and liked both options. If you have a special night out, we highly recommend this special place.

Food was outdated and very very disappointing. I felt like i got stuck in 80s fine dinning. The only tthing good was the soup. Service was good. The whole meal felt rushed, like they where just trying to turn the take a fast as possible. The salad was bagged pry cut lettuce with a one sad piece of watermelon on it. Steak was fired mid rear with a strange sauce on it. Dessert was basic as basic gets. Had better at local coffee shop. Everything sounded impressive, but nothing was. Had a better tasting menu on a cruise ship

Outdated, bland, boring, and overpriced! As travelers who seek out top dining experiences across the US, we visited this James Beard recognized restaurant with high expectations. Unfortunately, our evening did not live up to its reputation. They must have won the James Beard Award 30 years ago because they are stuck in the past. The atmosphere was truly beautiful but cramped with a loud dining room and an uncomfortable corner booth. The courses were small, the presentation was uninspired, and the dishes lacked innovation and flavor. For those seeking a delicous and creative experience in Savannah, we would recommend going across the street to Common Thread. Full transparency, nothing was horrible. But at this price point, I expected alot more. The tasting menu with wine pairing costs well over $500 for two.

We had an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend Elizabeth's. The food was only bettered by the superb service. However, there is an elevated cost to this elevated experience. We were able to enjoy it because a generous friend gave us a gift certificate.

On my last night visiting Savannah I had the pleasure of dining at Elizabeth on 37th. I chose to pair European wines with the seven courses offered on the tasting menu and was very pleasantly surprised with how perfect each pairing was. Michael Cohen's passion for wines, as well as his extensive knowledge of them, was instantly obvious, and the continual balance with ensuing courses is something I have not often experienced. Elizabeth on 37th hit the mark on every level- exceptional food quality, innovative dish preparation, service, ambiance, and presentation, in an elegant setting. In particular, the Potato Crusted Filet of American Red Snapper course was outstanding! As I told them when departing, "if Michelin was rating Savannah restaurants, you would surely earn at least one star!" Exceptional all the way around!

A very enjoyable evening filled with great food, whiskeys and conversation. While each portion is smaller be prepared for a lot of food! You will want to save space for each course because they are all quite good. They offer pairings with wine or whiskeys and we decided to try the two whiskey flights. See the photos for our three favorites. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and almost more importantly knowledgeable on what you're eating and drinking so you come away with a lot of good information. Certainly worth another trip!

We LOVE Elizabeth’s on 37th! We visit every year for my birthday and it’s just as incredible of an experience as the first visit! Michael is our server each time and he makes the experience unforgettable! We do the wine pairing and his knowledge of the vineyards is unmatched! Can’t wait until next August!

We went for New Years dinner. The chefs menu was AMAZING! It was so beautifully presented that I forgot to take a few pictures because I just wanted to eat. A little on the pricey side, but well worth the splurge! You might think you couldn't get full on 7 small plates, well you'd be wrong. We left so stuffed and satisfied. Loved every single dish served. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and plated. Hats off to the chef and the wait staff.

The Grey is a renowned restaurant located in the former segregated Greyhound bus depot, now transformed into an Art Deco dining space. It gained national recognition after being featured on Chef's Table and receiving a prestigious James Beard Award for its chef. The menu offers a mix of seafood and seasonal dishes, such as smoked pork with hominy and purloo Carolina Gold rice with salted fish.
We sat at the bar and had an incredible meal at The Grey. The patty melt was delicious, the Sizzlin’ Smoky Pig was absolutely amazing, the chicken schnitzel was perfectly crisp, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and top-notch food all around. Highly recommend!

We came here for an upscale anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was perfect and they were very thoughtful and wrote a happy anniversary note. The staff were helpful and answered many of our questions. They also had many vegetarian options to pick from. It’s a coursed $85 meal and I felt given the amount of food we got, it was very reasonable. The Savannah Red Rice was so good. It was definitely a great take on local food and was very flavorful and filling. I loved all the different vegetables in it - they were perfectly cooked and enhanced the sauce base. For the main, they had an okra and beans dish with bread. It also came with some salad and the salad was really fresh and had a very crispy dressing. The whole entree with its different parts went together so well. The beans were not too soft or hard but the perfect in-between. Insta: @TheShahLALand

After dining at a good number of Savannah's higher end restaurants I can enthusiastically say that The Grey was the best. And probably one of only two or three places that are worth the price. Our party of four were all impressed by the quality of The Grey's service and food. Big props to "Sooz" (Suzette) our most attentive and engaged server for her positive energy and apologizing for a delay in the serving of our main courses, before we knew there was an issue. (Comping us additional wine for the problem was high class and appreciated.) The dining room manager was also very attentive and engaged in making sure we had a first rate experience. We all ordered off the Prix Fixe menu, which I see has changed somewhat since we visited. Every dish was wonderful! We will definitely be back to The Grey.

Set in a building with a lot of history, and aligned with the changes in Savannah over time (e.g., former Jim Crow era bus station, former bakery). The food was the best culinary experience we’ve had during our stay in Savannah. It was one of the few places that lived up to the hype. The menu for brunch is small, so they’re not trying to do too much, just a few things really well. We had the duck pastrami, the omelette, the fried chicken with hoecakes, and the Bloody Mary. All great. They had live music playing, and the kitchen staff clearly too pride in their work.
Charleston E — Google review
After watching Chef's Table, we had to see if The Grey lived up to the hype. To say that it surpassed our expectations would be an understatement. The French Laundry has nothing on Chef Mashama Bailey. Chef and her partner kept the original Greyhound bus stop bones, but elevated the atmosphere. The food is incredibly fresh and passion infused. Every bite was heavenly and Chef's chillies bear palate cleanser gave us all the feels. If you're headed to Savannah, make that reservation early and be sure to ask for Ben as your server. His dedication to The Grey and outstanding service was the cherry on top of a perfect evening.
Kim P — Google review
There’s no question that The Grey has built a reputation in Savannah for its striking setting, a restored 1938 Greyhound bus terminal turned into a stylish dining space that blends Art Deco charm with Southern elegance. Unfortunately, on my recent visit, the beauty of the space far outshined the overall dining experience. I arrived early and took a seat at the bar, where the experience started off on the right note. The bartenders were friendly, the cocktails were well-balanced, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting. My wife and I enjoyed our drinks and looked forward to what we hoped would be an exceptional meal. Once we were called to our table, however, the evening took a noticeable turn. We were seated at a cramped table wedged between others, close enough to hear every word of the neighboring conversations. It wasn’t a busy night, so the tight seating felt unnecessary. When we asked to be moved, the maître d’ (or possibly the manager) told us it would be a 45-minute wait, even though several open tables were visible. After a short back-and-forth, he “found” a table, one that, interestingly, remained empty around us for the entire hour and a half we were there. Then came the surprise: The Grey offers only a prix fixe menu. While that can work beautifully when executed with creativity and depth, the limited choices here fell flat. For the first course, I ordered the B&B Pickled Egg, which lacked any memorable flavor or texture. My wife’s Summer Crudité was equally uninspired. The second course offered a slight improvement, my wife’s Baba Ghanoush was flavorful and well-balanced but my Beef Carpaccio missed the mark. The edges were brown and looked partially cooked, with none of the delicate freshness that defines a great carpaccio. For the main course, we both opted for the Dayboat Catch, which happened to be grouper. It looked promising but delivered little in the way of taste. My wife took one bite and set her fork down, describing it as “completely flavorless.” I finished mine, but mostly out of obligation rather than enjoyment. The one true highlight of the evening was our server. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely empathetic. Without us asking, she comped my wife’s dessert and later removed her entrée from the bill, gestures that showed professionalism and care. Her service was the saving grace of the meal. In the end, The Grey is worth visiting for its history and design, the space itself is stunning, a perfect tribute to Savannah’s past. But as for the food, it failed to live up to the restaurant’s reputation. What began as a promising evening with well-made cocktails turned into a forgettable dinner that leaned too heavily on ambiance and not enough on flavor. Final verdict: Go for the architecture and the bar experience, but temper your expectations when it comes to the food.

An unforgettable dining experience at The Grey in Savannah. We did the 3-course prix fixe and every bite was outstanding—from the crisp, fresh crudité to the mouthwatering oyster trio and flavorful succotash. The lamb melted in our mouths, and the chicken Country Captain was rich and juicy. Cocktails like the Captain Sauce and Fisherman Ave were beautifully crafted. For dessert, the fig thrills took us on a nostalgic journey through the joy of growing up in Savannah—her elevated take on the classic frozen pop was both refreshing and refined. We even got to meet Executive Chef Mashama Bailey—warm, down-to-earth, and deeply passionate. Incredible food, service, and experience. 10/10 highly recommend!

Cotton & Rye is a creative New American gastropub located in a former 1950s bank with an all-American bar and a deck. The restaurant was born when the building was sold and transformed into Cotton & Rye by Brian and his partners. Initially envisioning a New York style deli shop, they settled on creating this unique dining spot. The sleek interior of the remodeled mid-century modern bank wowed visitors, who were impressed by the level of service received.
Great place for dinner. We had the shrimp and grits (amazing), seasonal crudo (excellent), smash cheeseburger (excellent), vegetable lasagna, and peanut butter pie (pretty good). Everything we got, except the pie, was gluten-free.

The waiter had the detail of an engineer in describing things. The wife had me on the app with her shrimp and grits excelling over my octopus despite how good it was once I got into the jalapeño scrudge. With entrees came a new round, though. I went for the coulette/picana and got scared when they wouldn't do medium rare+; the last coulette I got medium rare was underdone so I hesitantly went for medium. Fear not! the chef said,.and it came out, and it was good. I took a bite and it was okay... then my tongue said "hang on a sec...", and things settled.... or something started to wake up... and my taste buds said "yooooo" as the dance party started. See menu snip so I don't have to type the party attendees out. My entree took redemption over the wife's app.

I highly recommend this place. Everything was excellent. We started with the award-winning crispy chicken wings. They were a little messy to eat but very good. For entrées, we had the local trout and the pork chop. Both were flavorful, but I would pick the pork chop because the portion was larger and it came with collard greens and potatoes. We also added a side of Brussels sprouts, which were crispy and seasoned well, and they included fried okra with it. The service was outstanding. Asia was friendly, attentive, and explained the menu clearly. I will definitely come back, and I suggest making reservations.

One of my favorite restaurants my girlfriend and I go out to. Our waitress was really kind and nice. She was always attentive and knew when we needed to be checked on. Drinks, delectable. Food, fantastic. That candy bar though? To die for. The candy bar is so good here that I bring it to my mother all the way in Atlanta. It is her favorite dessert. Overall another excellent experience and dinner, will be returning shortly.

Do yourself a favor and just come here. You will thank yourself. This is the choices my partner and I made while dining here. The Local Trout (chef’s kiss), the Almighty most delicious Fried Chicken I have experienced in a long while, and top of the line dirty martini. *SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT* This is a MUST. We experienced the candy bars and chocolate cake. So incredibly delicious. There is a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The dress is dressy casual I would say. I would visit Savannah again just to experience this restaurant again.

The flavors and spices are gourmet-incredible. I’m not surprised they won an award for the crispy wings ($17), you have to have them. The service was excellent and for being hailed as THE restaurant to go to in Savannah, the prices aren’t bad. It’s all about the food, but I think a lil music to enhance the atmosphere would be good.

Had dinner with my bridal party here and it was a great way to kick off our trip! Some good shareable sides like the Brussel sprouts which had great flavor. The food was overall very flavorful and filling and definitely worth trying a friend’s plate if they’re willing to share! Geneva's Famous Chicken and Cornbread Co. is a Savannah staple that serves up some of the best chicken and cornbread around. Six different flavors of cornbread are available to accompany plates of traditional Southern sides, and the chicken is real deal - perfect for any southern cuisine fan!
We stopped on our way through to Florida. This was the BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had!!! It was so light but full of crunch & flavor - hot all the way through and juicy! The pecan cornbread was simply delicious!! If we’re ever back in Savannah we will be certain to stop here!!

I ordered the two piece snack, dark meat. It had a nice crisp skin to it. The meat was tender and juicy. I also liked that it wasn’t too salty. Very good! Other things to note: they didn’t open until 11:30 because of staffing issues. I noticed another review mentioned this, so it may be a recurring issue. Also, there is no seating unless you have a sit-down meal.

We came here about 2 years ago and it was great, so I was excited about coming back, but the food we received this go around was almost inedible…The roasted chicken was dry and flavorless, the Mac and cheese tasted old, buttery and was cold, the candy yams tasted like sweet potato’s with sugar sprinkled on top and my wife’s smothered chicken was flavorless. The strawberry lemonade was excellent and our waitress was great besides her not trying to make things right with the dry roasted chicken, basically said try something else next time. For almost 24 dollars PER PLATE I expect better quality. My chicken came with one side and an extra “premium” side was 4 Dollars but was anything but premium. I’d recommend a quality analysis, I’d hate to see this place go down hill

Everything here is amazing! Nothing on the menu is a bad choice. The chicken, the catfish filets, salmon croquettes, fried pork chops, turkey wings, meatloaf, whatever you get you will love. You guys truly hit the sweet spot for our family! My kids absolutely loved their visit, and it's easy to see why this place is a local gem. The first thing that impressed us was the fantastic variety on their menu. From classic scoops to creative concoctions, there's a flavor and a treat to please every member of the family, no matter how picky their ice cream preferences might be. My personal highlight, however, was the hot fudge sundae. It was genuinely "out of this world" – the rich, warm fudge paired perfectly with the creamy ice cream, creating an indulgent and unforgettable dessert. It's the kind of sundae that makes you want to come back for more. Beyond the delicious ice cream, the atmosphere was welcoming and kid-friendly, making it a perfect spot for a treat after school or on a weekend outing. If you're in the area and looking for high-quality ice cream with plenty of choices and a truly exceptional hot fudge sundae, Leopard's Ice Cream is a must-visit!

I will be the first to acknowledge that I am fluent in hyperbole, but Leopold's is legitimately the best ice cream I've had in my 29 years and 223 days on planet Earth. We were finishing off a couple martinis and quickly google searched "ice cream near me," and I nearly choked on an oyster when Leopold's popped up with 4.7 stars on 13,505 google reviews. Those numbers are UNPRECEDENTED... 2006 Kobe Bryant numbers. 2012 Calvin Johnson numbers. We made the short walk over on a blessed Sunday afternoon and were met with no line. I taste tested 4 different flavors, and the staff was so helpful in recommending, and more importantly, not recommending things based on my pallet. I can't remember the exact flavors I got, and for that I am sorry my dear reader. I have failed you. 1 scoop was their variation of cookies and cream, and the other was some peanut butter cookie kind of flavor that was blessed by the hand of Zeus himself. This was the perfect ice cream. It was so good that my girlfriend and I were on facetime the other night trying to see if they ship nationally, which they do but you need to buy 5 pints. Worth it tbh. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__ Substack @johnnynovo

I always enjoy going to this old fashion cream parlor. I always meet people in the line visiting Savannah from different places. The staff is always nice. The ice cream is great. I always like getting the rum bisque. There is an area where you can sit down and enjoy your ice cream. They offer a variety of flavors. There is always seasonal flavors. They always have a line for this place. I drive over an hour to get ice cream here. Some things are just worth it. The brownie sundae is one of them. .

So nice! Ice Cream is top tier and the employees are so nice and patient. Prices are fair and the wait time is minimal on the weekends. Grab your ice cream and wonder through the shops in the surround areas.

Delicious. We had the two scoop brownie sundae and single scoop with toppings. It was great. We paid $16. When we go to an ice cream shop down by our home in South Florida the prices would’ve been double. Free water. Bathrooms were clean. Great atmosphere and everyone is so friendly.

As a self proclaimed ice cream connoisseur, I can absolutely say this lives up to the hype. I came back two days in a row and the child size cup was perfect. Highly recommend the German chocolate and peanut butter chip flavors. And they will let you taste a bunch of flavors too and still manage to keep the line moving fast!

I admit I am not huge ice cream fan. I can usually take it or leave it. But I had heard of this place and it was a stop on a hop on hop off tour I was on so I had to stop by. It was hands down the best ice cream I have ever had! I got the kiddy size Lemon Custard and it was so creamy and lemony but not over powering. 10/10 recommend if you are in the area!

Leopold's is obviously well know in Savannah and one of those places everybody says you have to visit. I'd heard that before I got to Savannah and the trolley driver suggested it again. So I got the flavor she suggested, honey almond and cream; I also got a scoop of coffee to go with it. So, did it live up to the hype? Yes - I finished my 2 scoops, walked out the door, and got back in line for more ice cream. I got a single scoop of peach since it was a summer flavor. It was great and I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any flavor. The inside has a retro feel and lots of movie posters for decor. I wasn't familiar with the Leopold's history so reading about the owners and realizing he'd had a hand in all of the movies posted throughout. When in Savannah, this is a must visit.

Vic's On the River is a top-notch dining spot housed in a 19th-century warehouse, offering classic Southern cuisine. Situated in Savannah's Historic District, the restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance with vintage decor and stunning river views. The menu features modern twists on regional favorites like crab cakes, pan-seared jumbo scallops, braised-beef short ribs, and farm-raised burgers served alongside traditional southern sides.
We'd been wandering along the Riverside and happened upon this place around lunchtime. The place met our needs since there were five of us plus two small dogs and the outside section suited, even if we did have a short wait. Not surprisingly there was a larger proportion of fish dishes and some very interesting starters. I absolutely loved the meat loaf though the special, grouper and grits was perhaps less well rated by the two who had it. No problems with the drinks, I can certainly recommend the Scofflaw Atlanta IPA, and the Wild Leap and Wicked Weed were also well received. The main indoor section of the restaurant was very smart and it was easy to see why this place is popular. We loved Chereece, our server. She was a real character and our dogs were made welcome.

Vic’s on the River was outstanding! I started with the Riesling Pear Salad, which was light, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My lunch entrée was the seared scallops—perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the Caesar salad and the Blackened Seafood Alfredo, and everything was fresh and tasty. Our waiter, Rick, was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. He even brought me the bottle of delicious Riesling so I could photograph it for a future purchase. We loved everything about this place and can’t wait to return@

One of the few places on the riverfront that locals actually eat, according to local tour guides. The portions, preparation, presentation, and quality were all up to standard. You won’t regret eating here, but it is very pricey. The French onion soup and Caesar salad made for great starters, the latter was a true Caesar, with anchovies. The former did replace the traditional Gruyère with provolone, I don’t feel like it reduced the quality, but if you’re a purist, take note. The entrees were all great, but the braised short rib stood out as particularly good. The value for money ($28) on such a well prepared and large piece of meat is worth considering when choosing your meal. The staff was attentive, but there were also plenty of people on shift to handle the crowd, which has become rare and to the detriment of the broader service industry.

We were lucky to walk in and get a cozy table in the bar area without reservations. Our server was friendly and attentive. The biscuits and honey butter were delicious. I ordered the salmon dish. The outside had a perfect crisp while keeping the inside moist and perfectly cooked. Hubby loved the smash burger.

Great place with a great price for being next to the river with a riverside view. The service was amazing, our waitress took such good care of us and the food did not take too long to come out. The food itself was amazing, definitely recommend the catfish dish. Everything tasted super fresh. For dessert, the chocolate liquor was also an amazing finish to a meal and I would recommend the chocolate torte

We had a truly wonderful dining experience at Vic’s on the River! From start to finish, the service was impeccable. Our server, LJ, was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The other staff who helped throughout the lunch were equally friendly and professional, making the whole experience feel seamless and special. The food was phenomenal—especially the shrimp and grits, which were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the fried green tomatoes, which were crispy and bursting with Southern charm. To top it off, they surprised us with a lovely special chocolate treat for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration and can’t wait to return next time we’re in Savannah!

This place was amazing! The atmosphere, food, and drinks were all excellent. I ordered the short rib, lobster tail, and a blueberry lemon drop everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The short rib was tender and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure our party was well taken care of. The meal and service were worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back!

Came here for my birthday dinner tonight, and all I can say is WOW. Javita was incredible, and the food was excellent. They are also one of the few dining experiences in the area with vegetarian options - my boyfriend got the 4 side platter, it was really great. I had the short rib and added lobster tail, paired with a lovely Tempranillo. We will absolutely be back!!

Alligator Soul Restaurant is a charming Southern eatery situated in a former grain warehouse below the town's post office. The restaurant prides itself on using organic and locally sourced ingredients to create a fusion of Creole-Southern cuisine with global influences.
It's not very often I give a restaurant a solid 5... But this was really an excellent experience. Stopped in Savannah just for one night and found this on Google maps - the reviews seem to indicate it was something special and I'm delighted that it was so good. The sweet crispy alligator bites were exceptional... I would really recommend getting the appetizer platter for a selection of lots of different tastes. We enjoyed the mac and cheese and elk with duck fried potato chips (or French fries as you Americans say). They were one of the crispiest and best tasting things I've put in my mouth. No rude puns intended. Finish off with an espresso Martini you won't be disappointed. The service was just the right side of attentiveness without being too intrusive. Excellent !!! 👍

The food was amazing and the waitress we had was extremely nice and professional. It was a great experience if you’re looking for a little more pricy meal with great atmosphere. We dressed semi-formal which was the right way to go.

I'm an older gentleman, and I've eaten at 1000s of restaurants... This is a top 5 all time. I will come back to Savannah just to eat here again. This was just an exceptional experience from top to bottom. From the moment we were greeted, to another rando employee appearing to open the door for us when we left, we were well taken care of. Service, impeccable (Thank you, Paige!). Food extraordinary! Atmosphere, exceptional A most memorable evening. If you held me at gunpoint, and forced me to say something negative, I don't think I could.

Great restaurant with the option to try upscale fare you might not be able to find elsewhere! They had elk and wild boar that I will definitely be trying next time. I ended up having the Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned, the Oysters A La Soul, and a Seared Red Fish on Rice with Asparagus. They do have specials and the waiter helpfully lists the price of them so you don't have to worry about appearing cheap if you ask. It's a romantic space in a basement like grotto. The stairs are kind of steep to get down to the entrance, so just be careful. The atmosphere is cozy and feels luxurious. It's definitely not an everyday option but perfect for an anniversary or birthday. I spent close to $100 on a cocktail, appetizer, and entree, just myself. Make sure you get reservations! I got mine a month out but they do fill up fast and I didn't see anything opening up in the weeks leading up.

Another winner in Savannah. Great ambience and service was professional and excellent. Make a reservation. The restaurant is located down some stairs in an old underground space. The chef is very talented and uses a lot of game in the recipes along with traditional soul food recipes.

I have nothing bad to say about this place it was a 10/10. We came early prior to our reservation and sat at the bar while our table got ready. The bartenders were super attentive & recommended me a drink based on what I told them I liked because I didn't know what most of the cocktails were. The Hurricane soul was a 10/10. When our table was ready the hostess came and got us from the bar and led us to our table. We were greeted with a very sweet card congratulating us on our anniversary on our table. Our server Angel was very knowledgeable and was very attentive when we were seated & checked in with us at all the perfect times. We ordered our appetizers. We each got one because we wanted different things (also the photos people posted online made the dishes look small). I ordered the bone marrow was out of this world mushrooms mmmhm. I heard they grow some there. It was amazing my husband ordered the alligator he said it was good. He first brought us a bite of a stuffed pepper that was amazing!!! Then they brought focaccia bread for both us with devine garlic butter & the bread felt freshly baked. We then ordered our main meal, I ordered the Deviled Crab and took a few bites and was stuffed by all the previous things I aite. My husband ordered the duck and said is was really good quarter legs (no breast meat). Good portion. (Husband also got the Mac and cheese but didn't make it to it, was to go). I asked our waiter for a to go box and they boxed them up. 10/10 place. This isn't a chain restaurant so don't expect to have your order out in a few mins. Don't go in hangry. They put lots of love in each dish and it shows & it's worth the wait & there is a wait. Truly go for the love of food and atmosphere. I truly felt like the staff took pride in thier work from host, bartenders, and the chefs & waiter ♥️ The care to details goes a long way starting from the moment you open the door and walk in. This place is it. I also thought they had my cutlery 🤣😆 Close. Same steel but different brand. Anyways good stuff. Quality 🤌🏻 Tips- -Make a reservation. -Don't show up starving expecting food orders thrown out in a few mins. This place brings the dishes out with love and care and it shows ♥️ -There is paid parking around this block & download the park savannah app to pay to park or use the machines on the corners. Also there is a parking garage on Whittaker St. -They are sweet to ask everyone if there is an allergy to somthing. We don't but thought it was very thoughtful. This place is it!! It isn't a slam your order out, but a very upscale place. Also I was planing and dressing way up but it was raining cats n dogs the whole day and wore a cute top and jeans & was still treated with the utmost respect. But this place is more of a dress 👗 & heels place if weather permits. The hostess looked better than me xoxo

My husband and I travel often and our favorite thing to do is eat and drink through our trips. Let me tell you, Alligator soul is one of our favorite culinary experiences of any trip so far! We dined with our 9 month old, which at first felt a little intimidating since the restaurant is so nice and chill but it went so well! We were sat in a nice quiet corner, the decor and ambiance is very cool and calming. The host and our waitress were very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. Our waitress was enthusiastic and passionate about the food, which is so good for them but also made us so excited to try things we may not have. The meal started with a complimentary stuffed pepedew pepper to awaken are pallets and it was soo delicious! The homemade bread and butter was even unique and special. We ordered the crispy alligator appetizer, being from Florida we’ve had quite a bit of fried gator but this was THE BEST gator ever!! Alligator Soul definitely lives up to the name! We both ordered specials for our dinner entrees, my husband got the fish special and it was Covina that night and I got the game special which was Elk. It was all AMAZING! The sides and the sauces in everything were so complimentary and perfect. These meals were so well rounded in flavor, hitting every tastebud. We were truly impressed! The wine and beer was also just what we needed to complete the meals and the experience. We won’t stop talking about this place for awhile! Definitely make a reservation here for your next trip or special occasion, worth every penny!

My partner and I were just passing through Savannah for one day, trying as many different places as we could. We made reservations for Alligator Soul and were concerned that all we could consume at this point in the day was appetizers and drinks. The server was very understanding and accommodating. We ordered the Crispy Alligator, Crispy Squash Blossoms, and the Oysters A La Soul. My favorite were the blossoms though, everything was delicious. The ambience is perfect for a romantic dinner or just a private event. The food was fantastic and just as described. Harley, our server was attentive and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a foodie experience with ambience and an elegant dinner.

The Collins Quarter is a versatile establishment that combines the elements of a bar, cafe, and restaurant. It offers an array of options including espresso drinks, beer, wine, and Australian-inspired meals. The brunch menu goes beyond the usual offerings with items like brioche French toast and CQ Bubble n Squeak. The coffee selection is diverse with choices such as Iced Mint Julep and Thai Iced Coffee in addition to standard espresso drinks.
The Collins Quarter is seriously the best spot! The atmosphere is amazing and the vibe is just on point. The food is exceptional and surprisingly affordable for how good it is. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome every time. I also love the little details, like how they decorate the tables with real flowers – it makes the whole place feel extra special. Definitely one of my favorite places to go! I went here twice for my trip to Savannah as it is so good compared to other places.

The competition is fierce in Savannah for restaurants! But, I would put this restaurant up against any other. Rose, our server was a model for all. The variety of menu options set the expectation levels very high. And, they come through and knock it out of the park! I’m one that loves to try new flavours. This restaurant just piles them on. And in a way that is very balanced. Loved every bite!

Super cute spot. We wisted as a group of 6 and we were seated quickly. Service was good and fast. Food was delicious. Place is located in the bottom floor and second part in a half basement of the old buildings. It gave a great vibe. Had great decor with few long tables made of the slabs of wood. Eclectic a bit. Absolutely loved dining at Collins, so much so that we came back a second time during our trip. Overall the service, atmosphere, and food were excellent. The first time we had Cooper as our waiter and he was attentive and delightful to talk with. Our second time we had Steve, it was his first night back working there after a long time and he was great as well!! Very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend their pasta or Manhattan Filet for dinner & the Dubai chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

I was excited to explore The Collins Quarter as it was one of my top food spots to try in Savannah and also came with a strong recommendation from our hotel car driver. As we pulled up, there was a couple in front of us, but otherwise no line, and we were seated quickly in an intimate corner booth. Our server came, was an absolute delight, and wealth of information about the town and menu options. My wife ordered the Avo Smash, and me the Bubbles and squeak. The Bubbles and Squeak was a curious name to me, and I was delighted at a poached egg, something simple, not experienced often. The food arrived soon as a nearby table and we were mesmerized at the presentation and size of the portions. When our food arrived, it was no different, beautifully presented in a unique and artistic way. The crunch of the potato hash, the smoothness of the cream corn, the zing of the sauces, the mellow textured yolk of the egg, and mushroom.. just all of it… melded so well together, allowing you to taste each flavor on its’ own, but a wonderful delight as one. The drip coffee, so simple, but complemented the breakfast so well, and there were many other options in the realm for others to explore too. A solid experience, and if we don’t make it back on this trip, it’s a must stop on future ones… Enjoy!

Dining with Dirk: Friday Edition. I was greeted promptly and offered a choice between indoor or outdoor seating. With the weather absolutely perfect, I chose to sit outside. While I usually go for my trusty favorite—the Avocado Smash—I decided to switch things up this time with the Open Face Tortilla, topped with a poached egg as the centerpiece. It did not disappoint. The vibrant mix of color, spice, and flavor was downright mouthwatering. Tyler, who was attentive, pleasant, and struck that perfect balance of checking in just enough. I left with good vibes all around. — drinking coffee at The Collins Quarter.

Flying Monk Noodle Bar, located on Broughton Street in the heart of the city, is a popular spot offering a diverse range of Asian noodle dishes from countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Korea, and Laos. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh noodles and a variety of imported spices combined with locally sourced vegetables to create flavorful broths and sauces for their pho selection.
Absolutely Delicious and Memorable Experience at Flying Monk Noodle Bar! We had such an incredible dining experience at Flying Monk Noodle Bar that I had to leave a review! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind—it really elevated the entire experience. We ordered the Tao Dumpling Soup and the Singaporean Chicken Noodles, and both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. The Tao Dumpling Soup came in a deep, flavorful broth brimming with fresh greens, herbs, scallions, and tender dumplings. It had that perfect balance of savory comfort with a hint of spice, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The Singaporean Chicken Noodles were another hit—packed with flavor, loaded with veggies, and perfectly stir-fried. The noodles had a beautiful texture, and the seasoning was spot on: aromatic, slightly sweet, and spicy with a kick of curry. A squeeze of lime on top brought everything together in the best way. It was seriously one of the most satisfying noodle dishes we’ve had in a long time! The ambiance of the restaurant was also great—casual yet stylish, with a cozy and inviting vibe. Whether you're sitting inside or enjoying the charming sidewalk seating with red chairs and umbrellas, it's a great spot to enjoy an unforgettable meal. If you're in town and looking for something hearty, fresh, and full of flavor, Flying Monk Noodle Bar is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. A huge thank you to the amazing team for such a delightful experience!

The crispy pork skin was on point. They had other "boards" for duck, and beef but not one that's a sampling of them all. That's what I really wanted and maybe in the future they would offer that. Ended up getting the duck noodles and my wife had the Master Shifu (broad noodles with braised beef). All delicious.

Stopped in while trying to hide from the Savannah heat. We opted for the green papaya salad and the five spice BBQ pork. Both were perfect on a salad really hot day. Salad was cool, crisp and sweet and salty from the dressing. The BBQ was deeply flavorful and porky with some cucumber to cut the richness. A couple cold Sapporo beers and we were ready to head back into the heat. Place was so good we did a to go order a couple days later. An order of spicy lemon grass beef and the crispy succulent pig plate. Both were very deep and rich in flavor. Rice and noodles were perfectly cooked and went well with the protein. This place is definitely worth a try.

Slightly disappointed with service and seating, we arrived and put our names on a waitlist to be contacted within 40 minutes. Once those 40 minutes came and went we decided to ask where we stood in the line to be seated, and the hostess appeared confused that we were still waiting to be seated, and sat us at one of the many open tables available. GLUTEN FREE: only three GF options on the menu. The rice noodles were delish but the chicken that was added to it was not warm like the noodles. There are better GF options at diff places in Savannah, just wanted to give this place a shot

Sarah was our server and she did the best job she could given the circumstances. We ordered the sausage bites as an appetizer that came out after our meals. They were a clump of doughy something. I had the mixed peach bbq chicken with mashed sweet potatoes and French fries. The chicken was about 2 days old, dry, cold and not at all edible. I didn’t finish 1 piece. The sweet potatoes were cold, did not finish. French fries were cold and had no flavor. Everything was garnished in parsley which, was odd. My son asked for ranch dressing for his fries and grilled cheese, which they were out of and had to make that came out after he was done eating. No flavor. The kitchen staff berated our sever yelling “We are doing the best we can do” even though there were maybe 6 other people in the place. Overall, it was a bad experience and for $75, the app was taken off, definitely not worth the trip.

We highly recommend Sweet Potatoes to anyone visiting Savannah! I had the pecan-crusted chicken breast and my husband had the country fried steak—both meals were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Best dining experience my brother and I have had in Savannah. We ordered the blackened catfish and peach chicken, plus just about all the sides, and Sweet Potatoes delivered. Honestly, you could order anything on the menu and it’ll be delicious. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender with the perfect sweet heat. Don’t leave without getting dessert. The pecan pie was our favorite. The service matched the food. Everyone was so friendly, and the food came out quickly. Our waitress Marley was hilarious and incredibly attentive—she had us laughing all night. We were lucky enough to have her special sweet tea blend, and she kept our cups full the whole meal. You can tell this kitchen cooks with love. Every plate that came out was hot, fresh, and made with care. You could feel the pride in the food, and we appreciated every bite. I’m honestly sad to go back to New Hampshire. No more sweet tea and southern charm. Thank you to Marley and the whole team for a meal my brother and I will always remember.

A local recommended Sweet Potatoes as a good place to eat. I asked is it “Soul Food” she said “comfort food”. Being from Memphis, TN, I know good food and this is NOT GOOD FOOD! We drove all the way from Tybee Island 🏝️ to eat dinner. I wish I would have read the review’s before ordering. The meatloaf was served burnt, the garlic mashed potatoes were so stiff and served cold, the chicken fried chicken was uncooked in the center, the fried catfish was not seasoned and fried too soft, the pot roast portion was so small. Chef Ramsey needs to come and help them out.I do not recommend.
Tamera Y — Google review
Was hoping for amazing southern food while traveling, but this missed the mark. I had corn meal fried catfish. It was actually not cooked completely and some of the corn meal was not cooked all the way through either. The flavor was very bland. As you can see from the picture the amount of sweet potato fries with the catfish was dismal. My wife had chicken legs with an amazing BBQ sauce, but the texture of the sauce was chunky. For the price the portions were pretty skimpy.

Was in town for just a day and google led me here. the catfish was amazing and the sides were better than most. ample parking also. Definitely would recommend and return on a future trip.

Two Cracked Eggs Cafe is a charming spot located on Bay Street in Savannah, offering hearty breakfast and comfort food to both locals and tourists. The cafe's all-day breakfast menu features classic southern dishes like the River Street Rambler, which includes eggs, potatoes, veggies, and sausage served with their famous giant buttermilk biscuits.
This is a fantastic stop for a solid meal. Had my first ever grits, and they did not disappoint. The service was excellent, and the food was on point. Real bacon, Yes! So good. The home-made gravy the biscuits and eggs, great stuff. Two Cracked Eggs, I would go back again the next time in Savannah.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Two Cracked Eggs with our dog, Gracie. The building is very unique. I'd to know the history. Breakfast was yummy but the Monte Cristo could have used some syrup. The egg sandwich would benefit from some condiments or dip. Our server, Niki, was very attentive. The restaurant is a cash only establishment.

My husband and I came to enjoy breakfast on a Sunday morning. I don't know if we're simply low maintenance but contrary to all the other reviews, the service was absolutely wonderful. Everyone working there was extremely kind and attentive. Aside from that, the food was expensive but a ridiculously large portion. I don't think a single human being is meant to eat a full plate alone. Unfortunately, the food was very delicious so I did make an attempt and left painfully stuffed. We got the biscuits and gravy, white trash and a side of bacon. I would recommend getting the white trash if you're torn between the two because it comes with a biscuit and topped with gravy. Everything was great, and somehow, even the grits.
Lideth D — Google review
The only reason I gave 4 on the food was because the French toast was not hot. Darcy, my amazing waitress asked them to remake it (I would have settled for hot syrup). She went above and beyond to make sure I had a hot meal which I really appreciated!
Melissa C — Google review
Absolutely worth the wait! We waited about 30 minutes, but the food and view made it totally worth it. We sat overlooking the river and even saw dolphins while we ate! The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Highly recommend the peach French toast — so good! My husband got the specialty bacon and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. Our kiddo loved his bacon too, and the biscuits are huge! Great atmosphere, great food — definitely recommend giving it a try.

Everytime we come to Savannah this is our first & only breakfast spot because its so good. Espresso martini is delicious Must get the hanging bacon!! Pancakes & biscuits & grits are the best. Service is excellent! Everyone is so kind & welcoming!! 🙂💛 (We started eating the bacon before I took a picture haha) Casey was our server today & was excellent!
Colleen C — Google review
The customer service was non-existent. We waited over 1.5 HOURS for our food — just French toast and a biscuit! No one refilled our drinks, no one checked in with us, and it felt like we were completely forgotten. When we finally stood up to leave, they rushed our food into to-go containers — at that point, it had been TWO HOURS since we ordered. And for what? My kids' French toast was burnt to a crisp. My husband’s order was completely wrong and had missing items. My so-called "peach French toast" was not only disgusting, but it was sloppily tossed into the bag, which caused it to leak everywhere. We paid $80 for four slices of bread, canned peaches, and a biscuit. If I could leave a NEGATIVE rating, I absolutely would. We will never return, and I strongly advise you don’t waste your time or money here. This was beyond disappointing — it was downright infuriating.

First time visiting. Super cute restaurant. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and my husband hand the peach french toast meal. The service was top-tier. Our waitress, Gigg, was very attentive and knowledgeable. You can tell when people have a passion for customer service. We will be back!!

The Ordinary Pub, nestled in a basement on Broughton Street in Savannah, offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with its exposed-brick walls. The menu goes beyond typical pub fare, featuring creative dishes like Pork Belly Donut Sliders and Loaded Fritter Tots. From Gumbo to Stone Ground Grits and even brunch options like the Brunner Bowl, there's something for everyone.
My first time at The Ordinary Pub and also my first time having bison. The bison seemed bland, having more emphasis on the fried breading and not spiced much at all. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were very delicious. My date had the fried green tomatoes sliders appetizer as her meal which was more that sufficient and said was very delicious. The service was continuously attentive and friendly, definitely worth a repeat visit. The atmosphere had a good crowd. The music was a bit loud where we were but that was because we were next to the speaker. Overall a very good experience and will try many other dishes here.

Pretty dope underground spot in Historic Downtown Savannah. They had a sign outside the entrance saying “$15 bottomless mimosas,” and that was the hook that pulled us in. The catch is that you have to order an entree in order to get the deal, so please be aware. The food was pretty good overall. We tried the Chicken & Waffle Gyro, with loaded grits, along with the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and cornbread. All of it was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned, and the loaded grits with cheese, bacon bits, scallions, and the whipped marscapone was fire 🔥 The cornbread tasted sweet and homemade, which I loved, and they give you two pieces. The prices are moderately high, but expected for the area. Stop by if you’re around town, you wont be disappointed.

Great brunch spot! Our server was awesome. The food and drinks were amazing! We had a big party celebrating a birthday and everyone loved their food. I particularly enjoyed the Chorizo Brunch skillet. The pork belly sliders were phenomenal and everyone loved them. Two people got the Pub Club and they both said it was the best club they’d ever had. The steak, eggs and grits were also top notch!

Worst burger I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like someone took already cooked burger patties and then mushed them together and set it on top of stale angel food cake. Sorry not sorry. When you charge $25 for a burger you need to deliver. The Brussels were drenched in some weird syrup. The cheese on the pub fries was like a watered down flavorless paste of some sort. This place is constantly recommended on Facebook groups and I’ve been dying to go, but I cannot in good conscience recommend it. Even if the food was good, it was extremely hot inside and made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.
Theresa L — Google review
This place was a vibe! As you walk down the stairs, the pub vibe hits you! We didn't wait long for our seats on the Sunday we visited. We were looking for a local spot to eat, and when we walked up, the bottomless mimosas sign roped us right in. We started our meal off with the loaded fries and we were nearly licking the bowl. The cheese sauce was phenomenal. As we enjoyed our mimosas we ordered from the delectable menu. I ordered a massive spinach and shrimp salad with feta, my sister ordered loaded hashbrowns, and my niece ordered one of the biggest club sandwiches I've ever seen. The food was delicious, the waiter was fantastic, and the vibes were great. There were Bachelorette parties, friends, and families enjoying meals at tables and the bar. Can't wait to go back!!

We had a lot of fun at the ordinary pub and really enjoyed our dinner. We couldn’t get in at the chive so we called an audible and came to the Ordinary Pub instead. Everyone in our group was pleasantly surprised by their food and drinks. I would definitely eat here again. The mushroom pasta was unique and something different, we really liked it. The salmon Felix was really good, as well as the fried green tomatoes. The low key star of the show was the pork belly sliders though - the slider buns were soooo good!
B P — Google review
What a cool place. So different from the ordinary. We had a super great server, Katie, and everyone there was nice. The mango jalapeño cider was yummy. Not strong tasting and kinda sweet, which I like. The Irish ale was stout tasting and good. The meatballs were good, but more sauce would be better. The savannah burger with loaded fries was great all around. The duck Tacos with the slaw really tasty. Would definitely recommend this place. So fun.
Mary N — Google review
We came in so that we could get a few Happy Hour items to share. We went for the Fried Green Tomato Caprese, Loaded Pub Fries, Meatballs, and Olive & Cheese plate. It was all very tasty and we enjoyed it all. My personal favorite was the Fried Green Tomatoes. I could have eaten the whole thing myself! The few cocktails we got were hit or miss. The two martinis we ordered were good, but the seasonal one(the name escapes me now) tasted like how a candle smells. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a great time.

Little Duck Diner is a charming and stylish upmarket diner located in the heart of Savannah's historic district. The restaurant offers a unique blend of southern charm and retro aesthetics, with an extensive menu served all day. Guests can enjoy reimagined American staples in a vintage-chic art-deco setting, complete with a sunny patio for outdoor dining. The quirky menu features delightful options like the Little Duck in Paris and classic chicken and waffles topped with spicy sriracha syrup.
Went and had an amazing brunch. They have three cocktails that are served with little rubber ducks, which was the highlight of my visit. But if your under age (like me) you can order it a mocktail. Which was very delicious. There was a fly that kept buzzing around but after a while it stopped. I would also like to say, it would be smart to make a reservation. Great brunch place! Definitely recommend!

We came towards the end of lunch on Sunday and were seated rather quickly. The food and drink menus were full of good options, but we settled on the Flap Crab omelette, the Ranch Steak and Eggs, and the Little Duck in Paris (french toast). The steak was ordered medium but served very rare and chewy (picture attached). By the time the waiter returned, we had all finished our meals so he offered the comp the steak. Besides this, our food and drinks were absolutely delicious! The servings were well worth the price We will be returning to try more dishes!

We were seated quickly inside for Sunday breakfast with an option to eat outside. My son used to work here and recommended Tomato Soup and grilled cheese as some of the best dishes offered. Soup didn’t disappoint and was rich & creamy with some red peppers and cheese & croutons giving it a delicious flavor and crunch factor. I had the California grilled cheese with chicken, pesto, avocado, mozzarella and havarti(I think) The bread was so good & buttery! Hubs had a sausage egg & cheese croissant, son had grilled cheese. Virgin Mango Bellini as it was Sunday morning and too early to add the Prosecco 🥭 $100 credit off your statement if you pay with AMEX platinum/Resy

This one’s a true find! The food was spectacular!! The service was slow but extremely professional and attentive. I thought during the time there - what is the rush!?! Service wanted us to slow down, relax and enjoy every second - so I still give 5 stars for that experience. The food I can’t say in words that would do it justice how good it was. Very high quality! The atmosphere was very nice, but quite small. Lots of mirrors - was looking at myself behind and beside by wife on the either side of me which was alittle distracting, but overall was a nice, clean environment. Definitely will be back!

We were a group of 6 including kids. Our server was very kind and patient, he switched our table for the bigger one and I know he didn’t had to it but it was so much more comfortable. Everyone was nice and the food was really delicious! We order couple of different dishes and every single one of them was amazing.
Joanna M — Google review
The diner was short staff so things unfortunately took a bit longer than normal. I enjoyed the grilled cheese and would recommend. I would give them a couple weeks to a month to fix the staffing issues.

The food was absolutely delicious! The waffle, biscuits & gravy, and crab omelette were all fantastic, and the sake Bloody Mary was a fun and tasty surprise. We sat outside — it was hot, but still a really nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, our server was not attentive and eventually disappeared, so we had to go inside to get our bill. That said, the hostess and food runners were super kind and helpful, which we appreciated. Would come back for the food alone!

This diner was so cute! The food was DELICIOUS and the atmosphere was perfect. We had a fantastic waiter named Abed and he recommended the wicked burger and avocado grilled cheese. They were stellar! The lore of this place is the little duckies they put into your drinks-such a cute little touch. Definitely worth a visit in downtown Savannah on Ellis Square!

Restaurant
Husk Savannah, a sister to its successful outposts in Charleston, Greenville, and Nashville, opened in 2018. The restaurant is located in the heart of Savannah's historic district and offers a Southern-inspired menu that changes daily based on seasonal availability. The dishes celebrate the region's bounty with ingredients sourced from local and regional farmers. The restaurant is housed in a landmark mansion with porch seating and features a large dining room filled with colorful artwork.
The entire experience was amazing. Atmosphere: this restaurant is in a house built in the 1800s. It's been through some different things. A ballroom (now dining room) was added. There was a fire so things had to be repaired. It's stunning! Our server, David, was excellent - knowledgeable and attentive. They have a rotating menu. Everything we ate was outstanding. Put it on your list.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and had a fantastic evening. The service and the food were exceptional and the kitchen made my wife feel very special. The whole fish with the wood fire smokiness was my favorite. A great night had by all. Thank you team Husk for such a great night.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we are so glad we did! This was the most delicious meal either of us have ever had! The paddle fish roe is delectable, the oysters were divine and the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had! We also got a side of collard greens and I didn't know they could have that much flavor! Between the atmosphere, service and food this place scores a 10/10 in our book! We will definitely be back to dine here again!

Husk is great if you like the farm to table vibe. Not real great options for menu choices, smaller unique menu. Smaller plates and very $$$$. Got the ribeye for $150 and wasn’t that impressed. Grits was banging though. Inside is stunning. Very old English building. Nice to go once.

My husband and I were in town for a concert and decided to try Husk. We sat in the main dinning room upstairs which was stunning yet cozy, even with this large room they were able to make it feel intimate. We started with a hibiscus infused old-fashioned which may sound odd, but the subtle floral infusion turned a classic cocktail into something truly special.. We shared the coal fired chicken, which may sound simple, but the sauce and side made it a wonderful combination. The shrimp and grits was a bit too rich for me but my husband thought it was some of the best he’s had. What really made the evening was our server Kelly. His knowledge of the menu, wine, and cocktail list was exceptional. It was like having a pairing dinner. He introduced us to some wines that we would not have considered. The highlight was desert. Kelly suggested an apple brandy to accompany the cheesecake with an amazing crust, topped with fresh cream and poached pears. The pears, chessecake and brandy combo was the perfect ending to our meal. We can’t wait to return on our next visit and will definitely ask for Kelly.

A must in Savannah! We visited the Charleston location and actually preferred this one. Located in an historic home, Husk offers amazing food and a great atmosphere. We had Kelly as our waiter and he was the best! One of our favorite waiters we’ve ever had. He was personal and gave great recommendations for us in the area. - they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy.

The food, service and atmosphere could not have been better. We've frequented the Charleston staple and very much miss the Greenville Husk. This was our first visit to Husk Savannah. Our expectations were high but they were met.

Loved our experience at Husk. Our server Beth made everything on the menu sound delicious! We tried the pimento cheese appetizer and the French toast biscuits - the biscuits were my favorite of the two, so yummy! I had the fried chicken. It was good but I will try something else on my next visit. The Husk mimosa was great as well!

Hitch is a lively and modern restaurant that offers creative twists on American classics, along with a variety of cocktails and wine. The pleasant hosting staff ensures quick seating, while the server provides excellent recommendations and attentive service. The menu features appetizing options such as PB&J wings, nachos, fried green tomatoes, Georgia salad, Caprese flatbread, and Georgia hitch salad. Vegetarian choices are somewhat limited in the main dishes but abundant in the appetizers.
This was our first stop after getting into Savannah (first time coming to this city!) and Cheyenne was absolutely the best!! We asked about recommendations for what to do and she did not disappoint! She even made a list and had others chipping in! She was so friendly and really knew what she was talking about! Her service was above and beyond and we will definitely be back! Thank you, Cheyenne!! The food was good, too.

The Hitch in Savannah is a great hangout, with refreshing signature cocktails, friendly and helpful staff, and upbeat atmosphere. The food menu offers interesting food combinations at a solid price. The Avocado Fries are excellent. The Fish & Chips was average and the sides lack a bit of temperature. My personal score 4.5.

Kyndra handled our party of 20+ people without any issues !! Very accommodating, very patient, and very pleasant 🤗 Thank you !! As for the food... we ordered the Philly Cheesteak egg rolls and Treylor Park Nachos.. should have only gotten the nachos.. it was enough for 4 people and no complaints there, but we were not fans of the egg rolls... there were 2 oversized rolls and they just had too much breading, so i ended up just eating the filling (I would have preferred 4-6 smaller rolls using spring roll dough so they are crispier!!) Everyone else in the group enjoyed all their meals, everything from the Ahi Tuna to huge chili dogs (well one long dog, but on 2 buns 😆), ridiculously ginormous chicken biscuits and fish sandwiches.. the PB&J wings (which I was skeptical of, but got to try one.... and it's a yes for me, if I ever find myself here again that's probably what I'll get!) And one lady ordered something that had apple pie in it, she said she was trying something different, but she didn't really like it, other than that not a single complaint !! Great lunch, food, and service.. Thank You ✨️

The atmosphere of this place is cool and beautiful and we absolutely loved it The servers are super nice and super cute Decor I give a 6 out of 5 We had nachos and they were killer. All the flavors were on point My Friend said the sweet tea was fantastic The entrees were not so good though I’m afraid I had the smashburger and it was good. Was it better than the chain Smashburger? Not at all. It was only good. My Friend had the caprese pizza. He hated it. Took one bite and no more. He could’ve been full from the nachos but no. He said it was just bad. And we didn’t take a photo. Imagine rolling out dough but it was for a bad cracker recipe - that was the crust. It was stiff and caramel Brown color. The pesto was an unusually deep green color (for pesto). If it were a painting the palate would be lovely. I Love a thin crust pizza but I draw the line at cracker crust. All in all I would definitely go back and try other things. We weren’t entirely disappointed

Always love this place, the peanut butter jelly wings were great. The Korean beef tacos were to die for. Didn't have the chicken pot pie burrito but I've had it before.

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday with the family. Plenty of space, and the kids enjoyed watching 'Ghostbusters' on the TVs (they are typically playing some DVD movie). Food was excellent-- I had the beef tacos (that had a Korean BBQ flavor to them). The kids menu was great and had the key staples (hamburger, chicken tenders, etc). Parking was a little tough-- we had to circle the block a few times to get paid street parking ($2 for a few hrs).

Parker's Market is a busy gas station that unfortunately suffers from basic problems with their system. The employees are doing their best but they need more help to keep up with the demand. The wait for food is long and there isn't enough space to fit everyone who wants it. This makes it difficult for customers to get what they need quickly.
This is the fancy parkers this convenience store has everything. A large amount of delicious hot foods are available at all times. And an unfathomable amount of cake and cookies and such. This place is open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Parking can be rough at time especially around lunch when everyone is in there. And the gas pumps can be confusing if you don’t know what’s going on. But despite that they are still easy to use. There can be some riffraff out front at night due to the park benches on the side. But the overall this place is great.

Great little place to stop for quick eats, wine, gifts and of course fuel. It’s cute, clean and the staff were nice. The food was fresh and prepackaged but they also offer hot food options, coffee, soda and ice cream.

I was pleasantly surprised when I needed to stop by to get gas in Savannah to be led here by my GPS. On the hottest day of the summer, I could get a cold drink and stop by the bakery to get the best cake I had in Savannah(double chocolate, of course. Please dont tell my trainer😅). If that wasn't enough, they had a market with other quick items I could grab for the kids and the wife on the way back to the hotel. Very nice gem in the heart of Savannah.

Disgraceful service from staff there just now who would not accept international passport card (which has been accepted ALL over the East Coast of US) to purchase alcohol and kept referring to their 'policy' which conveniently is located on the back of the till which they could not show us. I was told it says passport book but could not verify online or in store anywhere. If that's the policy it should be clearly displayed for everyone to see. For context, the individuals who were refused were 38&39.

Love this place. Every item in your typical convenience store but this one is on steroids. They have prepared foods like breakfast bowls, sandwiches and dont forget the desserts. When you see the size of the cakes you are gonna want some. Most importantly the staff at this location are top notch. Pleasant, friendly and willing to help. A special shout out to Ms. Kenyatta who was so friendly and helpful on both of my visits. She must not sleep because she was there late night and again the next afternoon. She made us smile.

I was visiting for just one night and choose to walk here. Very beautiful but the place was empty at 8 on a Sunday. Could be blamed on my bad hearing but when I was offered distilled water, I wasn't anticipating 9.00 for that. My very saucy pasta came and I ask for a little bread, 4.00 was added to my bill for a slice of bread with butter... The lobster pasta had 5 or 6 bits of lobster claw/ peices.. the sauce was nice and the pasta cooked perfectly. The waitress had a very strong accent that was hard for me to understand. When I questioned the 4.00 slice of bread, they did take it off my bill. I too my souvenir 9.00 glass bottle of water with me.

We just visited the Rhett for the first time this past weekend, and WOW, they did not disappoint. We went for brunch around Noon and were surprised it wasn't packed, considering it was the July 4th weekend. We were seated at the bar immediately, and the bartender was a pleasure to work with. He made us some fantastic drinks and kept our water glasses filled. The food itself was splendid! I had the chicken and waffles while my wife had the loaded grits bowl. Please do yourself a favor and TRY IT! The restaurant itself is gorgeous and has been decorated classily. They had several parties of more than 6, so they can certainly accommodate your family brunch needs. Next time you're down by River Street, stop by.

Tonin is super nice and attentive with great recommendations! The shrimp and grits had a good portion of fresh shrimp with creamy grits and the grouper was seared perfectly. The oysters were so fresh and also tasty. The calamari breading was bit salty but still flavorful. I’d return for the shrimp and grits alone. Would definitely want to try more items on the menu!

This restaurant needs to have a higher rating!! After a week of staying at the hotel, I've had a week's worth of breakfasts/brunches here & tried 80% of the menu. Every single dish is delicious & fresh. Some dishes are on the smaller side by American standards, so just double check with your waiter if super hungry (or get the omlette - it's huge). Staff are very attentive, friendly & well trained. They genuinely look like they want to be there, which is so rare these days. The whole operation runs so smoothly. Even on Sunday when every table was filled, they managed to get my order out in under 15minutes. Amazing! (ps their beignets on dinner menu are to die for!)

Restaurant
Spanky's Pizza Galley & Saloon is a lively eatery located on River Street, known for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Established in 1976, this family-owned restaurant has been a favorite dining spot for both locals and visitors. The menu offers a variety of familiar eats including pizzas, chicken fingers, and other American food options. The energy of the place exudes a local vibe where regulars gather for work outings or casual hangouts.
Great food. Many options for all in your group. The nachos were good but could have gone without the liquid cheese under the shredded cheese. The steak sandwich was great!

Relaxing, comfortable dining experience. The Spanky's original burger came with fresh leaf of lettuce, fresh sliced of tomato, and my choice of fries. Delish! There are two dining rooms with their own fireplaces, a horseshoe shaped bar with seating, and a private room in the back. The fried mushrooms here are legendary. Will definitely return.

We had a party of three. The server was very forgetful my husband was the only person that got a refill on his drink. The food was warm not hot like it should be. The ladies room needed attention! The fried mushrooms were delicious.

Upon arriving at spankys it looked dead yesterday 04/25/25. Once we went in against my better judgment I instantly got the stench of old and mildew smell then there’s a sign that states for a party of six (6) or more a 20% gratuity fee would be added to the bill. We were a party of five (5). We were seated and our server came almost immediately introduced herself and our drink orders were placed. I asked what was popular which she stated the tenders and spuds were ok cool so we decided on three (3) orders of those except two (2) had fries and I had spuds. The other two (2) ordered a Caesar salad and Reuben on rye with a side salad. After about 10 minutes the side salad came out then we sat there for another 30 minutes waiting on the rest of the food. Might I add the place was empty other than 6 other people that were seated and 2 others sitting at the bar. Once we got it the shit was cold and the server was no where to be found. She never came back to see how we were doing until 10 minutes after that and that was to refill our already empty glasses. So now the bill comes with the gratuity already added when asked the server about it she claimed the “system” automatically adds it which doesn’t make any sense if it’s supposed to be added if you have a party of six (6). We went ahead and paid the $140 bill and I saw the server walk to the kitchen with the card and I know it better not be an unknown charge on the card. I didn’t get any photos because it wasn’t worth it.

Ordered my food and arrived at the specified pickup time, where they said it wasn’t there and there was nothing they could do. Went in after seeing multiple people go in and out, satisfied, and it turns out our order had been sitting on the counter the whole time. The food was cold and congealed after the 30 minutes of radio silence where we asked. That on top of being rude just really sucked. I’ve always loved Spanky’s but this has changed things for me. :(
Cherry G — Google review
We had a large group for lunch, and they were able to accommodate us easily.
Renee P — Google review
The general energy of this joint definitely screams “local”. And in the best way possible. It certainly is a place where the usual crowd comes in for their Tuesday work outing or your Uncle Joe hangs out with his buddies on Thursday night. The menu has a little something for everybody and no choice is a bad one. From the Santa Fe Salad to the pepperoni pizza, to the classic chicken fingers basket- it’s all pretty decent. I will say this place is on the heavier side. Not much ISN’T fried. But sometimes that’s just what you need. We will definitely come back for lunch soon. Service staff was kind and attentive. Honorable mention: the [believed to be] homemade ranch

I've been going to this Spanky's for almost a decade. In the past that has been amazing and great value for money but it has seriously gone downhill in the last year or two. On my most recent visit with my wife. I got a patty melt and switched out the Swiss cheese for American. my wife got a fried fish with green beans, something she gets all the time. The fish was rubbery and overcooked. She complained to the server and the server said she would tell the manager. Manager never came over. We had to ask to have it removed from the check. When the server brought the check they had charged us $4.50 for the side of green beans that my wife had eaten and taken just the fish off. I've never heard of anything like this at a restaurant I've ever been to before when the restaurant sends out a terrible dish. On top of that they charged me for extra cheese even though I had only subbed out one cheese for another. $27 for a patty melt, a Diet Coke and a side dish of green beans that was about 4 oz. I spoke of the manager and she was less than helpful. Not sure if I'll be back after this. This restaurant charges premium pricing now and their food leaves a lot to be desired.

Japanese restaurant
Coco and Moss is a locally-owned Japanese-inspired cafe in Savannah, Georgia, offering a contemporary dining experience. The menu features a variety of Japanese fare such as poke bowls, sushi, sashimi, warm grain bowls, and Asian-inspired salads like the popular Missy Miso Chicken. The restaurant also serves signature cocktails that are perfect for starting a cocktail crawl.
We had such a lovely dinner as a couple here on a Sunday evening. We arrived about 7:45 and we're able to be sat right away. The atmosphere is so cute and posh. No kitschy outplayed "Asian" theme. The sushi was incredible. Between my husband and I, we had the tuna tartar, Snapper roll, spicy tuna roll and dancing eel roll. It was all fantastic, fresh, flavorful and delightfully balanced. We were visiting from out of town. There is not a lot of good sushi available where we live so this really hit the spot for us. Service was great. Pricing was fair. Would recommend to anybody looking for dinner for a small group or date night.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coco & Moss never misses! I absolutely love this spot. The Laos Lemongrass Bowl is packed with flavor and hits the spot, and the spicy shrimp sushi? Chefs kiss—fresh, spicy, and so satisfying. The vibe is unbeatable—great music, relaxed but lively energy, and the servers are always so friendly and on point. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or hanging out for dinner, it's always a whole experience here. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to COCO & MOSS every year since they opened over five years ago, and it never disappoints. The space is cool and contemporary, and it’s aged beautifully. The menu satisfies all tastes, with great sushi, poke, rice bowls, and fresh salads. What truly sets them apart are their sauces and dressings. Whether on a salad or a bowl, the flavor is incredible. That’s their secret sauce; literally!! Fresh, consistent, and always satisfying. A must visit spot in Savannah.

Heard my wife mention this place, so i decided to take her and i am so glad i did! It was AMAZING. Hannah B was great to us, gave great recommendations, and the rest of the crew was great as well. We settled on a crunchy roll, a chicken miso salad, and a pork belly warm bowl. We will be back SOON!
Turnerway14 — Google review
Such a great experience! Hannah gave great recommendations and was attentive and friendly to our group. She made us a special mocktail that we couldn't get enough of! The large windows made it fun to people-watch busy downtown and would be a great spot for a solo dinner. Everyone loved their sushi and I enjoyed the enlightened one bowl. The only person taking leftovers home was a toddler.

Chicken wings restaurant
520 Wings is a locally owned fast-food joint that offers fried chicken, fish meals, and burgers in a simple venue. Originally built as a bank in 1950, Cotton & Rye was cleverly remodeled to create a great atmosphere for diners to enjoy their crispy chicken wings made with spicy honey, sumac, and chipotle morita. The restaurant also boasts a wide selection of American-made whiskeys.
520 Wings emerges not just as a restaurant but as a contender for the crown of Georgia’s best wings. This isn’t a place that thrives on frills or pretense; it’s where the humble chicken wing is elevated to an art form, where flavor, heat, and technique converge to create something that’s deceptively simple yet undeniably sublime. 520 Wings is a bastion of comfort, a no-nonsense spot that welcomes you with the warm embrace of a local haunt, where the focus is squarely on what matters most: the wings. Here, the wings are not just food; they’re a declaration, a culinary statement that resonates with the soul of Savannah and echoes the passion of the chefs who craft them. Imagine the perfect wing — crispy on the outside, succulent within, each bite a cascade of flavors, each sauce a testament to the art of balance and boldness. This is what 520 Wings offers, a repertoire of wings that might just be the best in Georgia, if not beyond. The variety is dizzying, the quality unwavering, each wing a narrative of spice and satisfaction. Anthony Bourdain, with his love for the unvarnished truth of food, would have likely appreciated 520 Wings for its commitment to excellence in the face of simplicity. Here, in the heart of Savannah, the wing is not a side note or an appetizer; it’s the main event, a dish that demands respect and evokes passion. The ambiance of 520 Wings mirrors its culinary ethos — straightforward, welcoming, unpretentious. It’s a place where the food takes center stage, where diners from all walks of life converge over shared platters of wings, where the spice ignites conversation, and the beer flows as freely as the stories. Service at 520 Wings is as genuine as its fare, with a team that knows the menu inside out and appreciates the art of hospitality. This isn’t about fine dining; it’s about great dining, about the joy of sharing a meal in a place that feels like it’s been a part of Savannah’s fabric forever. In a city celebrated for its gastronomic diversity, 520 Wings stands out for its singular focus, its mastery of one of America’s favorite comfort foods. It’s a testament to the idea that sometimes, the simplest dishes are the most memorable, that great food doesn’t need to be complicated to be exceptional. For those in search of the best wings Georgia has to offer, a visit to 520 Wings is a pilgrimage worth making, a culinary journey that’s as flavorful as it is unpretentious.

I’ve been a customer at bull for years but unfortunately my first experience at the new location on waters was far from good. I was the only customer there. Only drive thru & window walk up available currently. I did drive thru. The cashier was nice, friendly. She explained it would be 2-3 minute wait for them to make the food fresh. I was there for 9 minutes before my chicken philly was ready… and for it to be what was served to me.. not worth the wait or the price. I’m not sure why the website says the sandwich is $7.99 but I was charged $9 and some change… for this? It took almost ten minutes to put that together? With only one customer. {refer to the pics} I need burning my money to count and unfortunately this…hurt lol

Visited Savannah and decided to give 520 Wings a try. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The fries were undercooked and lacked that crispy finish, and the blue cheese dressing was extremely watery closer to the consistency of water than a dip. The wings themselves had good flavor, but definitely could have been fried a bit harder for better texture. Hoping for improvements, because the spot has potential.

My husband and I stopped by for some local food and found 520 wings. The customer service was amazing, the young woman recommended the wings and Philly cheesesteak (the house special). The food was great and the we also enjoyed the tropical bull drink was (not sure of the name) but it was an adult beverage, highly recommended!

I'm not sure why this place is still open. I'm traveling from out of town and we wanted to decide where to eat at. So we tried this place. Upon walking in the cashier did not have the greatest customer service but she was okay. She did make suggestions on the menu. I give her that. We told her we were first timers in which she told the manager lady whom came out the bathroom a few moments after we arrived. The manager didn't seem to care to even welcome in new faces. Heck she didn't even SPEAK SMILE TALK OR ANYTHING ELSE That you would typically expect from a manager. Upon receiving our order, I asked the cashier. Did they just make the fries because the fries were not hot in which she responded? Would you like for us to make them fresh? In which I responded. Yes, that would be nice. Thank you. She then passed the order on to the manager lady Who seemed like she was VERY unsatisfied with us asking for new fries. So in turn, I just asked for a refund. Because who wants to spend money on a $20 meal with cold fries. Then she came out with the nastiest attitude to give us a refund. However, I did not cause an issue or make a scene. I received my money and left the restaurant Never to return. Hopefully, 1 day if I do.They have a new manager. Because I know she could not be the face that they want for their business especially if they want people to come in and spend their money Now I have to find somewhere else to eat. Anyone got any suggestions For a nice restaurant in Savannah Georgia with better customer service. And workers without attitudes who are not on their cell phones or picking at their nails.

Me and my son went here today, first time eating at 520 Wings. Came here bc A-Town Wings was closed. And I must say this is by far the smallest, feather covered and the worse wings I've ever had. I ordered the 20 wings half hot honey mustard and lemon pepper. The wings didn't have hardly any meat on them and was smaller than my thumb. Ate only a few and couldn’t eat anymore. The flavor on the wings or the ranch left a bad after taste in my mouth. I WILL never eat here again.

The kitchen shines bright here with thoughtful and well executed dishes created by world class chef Chris Meenan. The service was delightful and energetic. Love this cute cafe restaurant!! We went in to cool off in A/C with a drink and were so spoiled with service that we stayed for dinner and then returned twice because we enjoyed being there so much. When we sat with our wine the first evening we were treated with a complimentary sharing platter of fresh bread, whipped lemon butter, deviled eggs, and pickled veggies. The chef overheard that my friend had never had grits so he made a small bowl for her to try. I had the Smash burger and homemade chips. The burger was on a fresh brioche roll had a hash brown on it. So good!! We also ordered the cabbage and watermelon rind slaw salad. It was so fresh, light and tasty. The perfect salad for a scorching summer day! When we returned for a coffee and breakfast the chef recognized us and came out to say hello and chat with us every time. We felt like it was our “local” every time even though we were just there on vacation.

Dottie’s is a fine cuisine restaurant with service and food rivaling the best restaurants in any major city. Our server was charming and took time to explain the menu and specialty dishes. The owner was so warm and welcoming and our chef served up delectable iterations of southern cuisine, delighting us in every bite! We found this gem our last night in Savannah and wished we had discovered sooner to enjoy their coffee and breakfast menu! What a warm and lovely experience from the front door to the books, charming cooking and entertaining pieces, the atmosphere was welcoming! I must also mentioned how lovely it was to be served on the ‘good china’

Absolutely twelve out of ten dinner experience. There was not one dish I didn’t like. It should be named “the heart of Savannah” I ate at some other “well known” restaurants and let me just say that it doesn’t compare. We were a party of 6 and was comfortable. What a beautiful experience to visit Savannah for the first time and come across this gem. THE GREEN TOMATOES! So thankful for such a beautiful service and good energy all around. I felt taken care of. I felt nourished. I am satisfied. We finished dinner and also got some pastries for the next morning. Thank you for the lovely time 🫶🏽

Great spot for a quick bite in the morning. This place exceeded expectations!! The collard greens were delicious. Corn bread was toasted and our favorite of the whole Savannah trip. Carry out lunch on a Monday in June. Got the two-piece chicken with three sides - it was enough for two people to share! Mac & cheese, collards, and broccoli casserole were really good. There’s limited seating outside on the sidewalk, but we took our takeout box and went to a nearby square with shaded seating. Highly recommend!

We had the fried chicken, cheddar biscuits, mashed potatoes, and their mac and cheese. Very good but very heavy. Barnes & Noble is a well-stocked bookseller chain that offers a wide range of titles for both adults and kids, along with its own eReader. Visitors to the Barnes & Noble in Oglethorpe Mall can expect an incredible selection of books, including rare editions not found elsewhere. The store also features a variety of magazines, toys, and gifts. Customers appreciate the organized layout and large variety of merchandise available beyond just books.
Barnes & Noble at Oglethorpe Mall is more than just a bookstore—it’s a sanctuary, especially when life gets a little chaotic. After a severe thunderstorm in Savannah left us without power for five days, this store became a refuge. We headed there to charge our phones and ended up spending hours just relaxing, browsing through the books, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was a much-needed break from the stress of the power outage. The store itself is spacious and well-organized, with a wide variety of books, magazines, and games. There's something for everyone, from bestsellers to niche titles. The café inside is perfect for grabbing a coffee or snack while you settle into a cozy reading spot. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the environment is calm and inviting, making it easy to lose track of time while you’re there. Whether you're looking for a new book, a quiet place to recharge (literally and figuratively), or just a space to chill out for a few hours, Barnes & Noble at Oglethorpe Mall is the perfect spot. It really became a lifesaver during a tough time, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how welcoming and comfortable the experience was.

Great book store with a wide variety. You just feel smarter with the smell of books throughout the store. Has a nice place to get coffee and offers a great break away from work or even shopping. Usually pretty busy but definitely roomy. Can be pricy so know your options but if it's something that you need immediately, they are a great source. I've never had a bad experience in this store.

I always adore all the Barnes and Nobles I visit. There has to be at least 10 reviews on here of them because I will generally go to one anywhere I'm visiting or staying for a while. Baton rouge, both of the ones in baton rouge, Lafayette, Shreveport, Hammond, one in Pittsburgh, many others and of course the one here in Savannah. I always love them and their layouts of course their products. Sometimes I rate them higher on their coziness but I don't think I've ever been to one Barnes& Noble where the bathroom was not atrocious. I'm talking about like horrible. Don't want to even use them from the second you walk in because of how bad they are. I have got to know. Please answer me Barnes& Noble do y'all like higher outside sources for people to clean your bathrooms like once a week? And I'm just missing the one clean day that they have because every single one I've walked in immediately smells like a porta potty. The floors are usually filthy and the toilets are horrifying. I only use them in emergencies and I wipe down the toilets as well as I can. I don't get it. Such a wonderful place and they always have horrible bathrooms and it must be some kind of thing. Like I mentioned where they have someone else come in and clean the bathrooms because no one is doing it on a daily basis and it's just cannot be coincidental that all the ones I visit are horrible. I keep expecting one not to be so bad to prove me wrong but they're all awful. I will leave which means I don't shop as long to go somewhere else to use the restroom. Fortunately this one is in a mall and yes the mall bathrooms are better than the bookstores. I will spend 2 3 hours at any given bookstore and Barnes& Noble is usually the one I stay in the longest because they're usually the largest. So to say that I cut my visit short depending on if I have to use the bathroom or not. Just ruins the whole bookstore cozy mood. Otherwise the staff here the store itself all five star. But I'm not giving it a full five star because of the bathroom. People shopping for books and spending time reading. Enjoying things from the cafe, etc. Shouldn't have to go somewhere else to use the restroom. Update: great haul from my bday coupon and gained a lot of stamps. Found lots of new wish list items as well 👍

So nice to spend time here! I moved from California last year, and they had closed all the Barnes & Nobles near us several years before. It was a wonderful time I spent here. Can't wait to go back!

American restaurant
Spanky's Southside Pizza Galley and Saloon is a casual, family-friendly restaurant and bar in Savannah that offers a variety of dishes including burgers, wings, pizza, sandwiches, and seafood. Visitors rave about the perfectly crispy wings available in various flavors such as teriyaki, honey BBQ, buffalo, and lemon pepper. The menu also features delicious options like chicken fingers served with a choice of side, fried pickles, fried mushrooms, loaded nachos, and steak finger baskets.
I want to say the kitchen did there thing ! The food was seasoned to perfection chicken fingers and burgers! the spinach dip was amazing with the bread and the sweet potato fries was hot and fresh the cinnamon butter with them was a great idea and as always the spuds are great
Gloria W — Google review
Pretty impressed with it all. I thought it was going to be a basic mid pub food chain. Everything was great. I was not expected ground beef in my beans. I was hoping for bacon and wanted the chicken tenders more crunchy and crispy. I was disappointed with that but everything was great. Service was good
Layla L — Google review
So… people rave about Spanky’s and no matter how much I’ve tried their food I still can’t see why. In my opinion Spanky’s is cool for an older crowd, my grand parents use to appreciate the lack of seasoning so their blood pressure wouldn’t rise. So basically… Treat your grand parents to Spanky’s. Everything we had lacked flavor. We started with the spinach dip, sent it back. The pita looked like they took it straight from the bag to the plate, their Cesar dressing was missing like three ingredients (actually every dish seemed to be missing a couple things). I will say their pizza with light cheese (because their locations are heavy with the cheese) well done crust is good. I usually do a small double pep! This time we tried the BBQ Chicken pizza and it’s a HARD NO!! The chicken was super dry, my boyfriend said it was too much cheese and I thought it was way too much BBQ sauce. Not only was there a lot on the crust, then they drizzled it on top too. The steak fingers were probably the worst thing we kept, it’s like unseasoned slices of cube steak and flour. Our service wasn’t bad though and the atmosphere gives you options. I’ve also had bar drinks from them before though and they were what they needed to be.
Nyla S — Google review
The place was clean and the service was good. Our waitress was quick and polite. The food however was OK. The best part of our meal was their loaded nachos and the large glass of Prosecco. The remaining chicken and shrimp dishes were your average fried food. I don’t think we would be back again.
Angie — Google review
The food is very tasty. I really love their fried mushrooms and the horseradish dipping sauce. I tried the quesadilla with chicken for the first time. A very good dish. The service was excellent. Our lovely waitress was a hard worker.
STEVE L — Google review
Oh my gosh, let’s start with the customer service then let’s talk mushrooms the best appetizer. The ruben, the Onion rings, the cheese burger wow 🤯 just amazing.
Maria M — Google review
Great service. Great food. Nice people. We've eaten at the one downtown on River Street. Although different owners the food is consistent. I live for the spuds. And the honey marmalade dipping sauce is AMAZING.

This place has great customer service and great food..We really enjoyed the juicy burgers and mouth watering chicken strips, the chop salad and the spankys quesadilla with chicken, shrimp and steak and don't forget about the delicious spuds....

32Brochu's Family Tradition

Restaurant
Brochu's Family Tradition is a new addition to Savannah's dining scene, brought by renowned chef Andrew Brochu from Chicago. Located in the Starland District, this rustic-chic eatery offers a unique take on regional comfort foods such as roasted oysters, fried chicken, shrimp, and banana pudding. The menu features a variety of oyster preparations and chicken dishes like sandwiches and a familial chicken dinner with an assortment of sides.
Walked in as a party of two on a Saturday around 6:30pm. We are seated within minutes at the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and drinks. Fantastic service. Based on what we had, I suspect you would have a hard time finding anything on the menu that would disappoint. Highlight was definitely the oysters and dirty rice for us. They are also known for the full/half bird platters which will likely feed 2-3 people easily. Enjoy.
Alec M — Google review
"Oh it's just fried chicken"... Trust me, it ain't just fried chicken. This is chicken at a whole different level. The thighs are fried (heavenly...quite possibly the best EVER). The breasts are marinated and roasted (no words). The legs are made into chicken salad, and the wings are used to make gravy. THEN...there is the rice. ALL of the rest of the chicken is used to make the rice. AND...biscuits, butter, and gravy. (hard to choose which one you want on your biscuit) The appetizer was Shrimp Caesar with Chimichurri on Brioche...and it was absolutely ridiculous. Dessert: Banana pudding (not pictured), and Buttermilk/Peach pie. Thank you Andrew Brochu for being so creative, and for showing such great hospitality. Thank you Lane for spectacular service. Truly a spectacular dinner experience with "Fried Chicken" (and so much more) If you are anywhere NEAR Savannah...this is a "go to" spot for you.
David G — Google review
We’ve been wanting to try Brochu’s for quite some time and finally got to go last night. We were able to get a table on the patio with no wait. Reservations are needed for inside. On the patio, you order at the window and everything is brought out to you. There was a special menu in celebration of Jimmy Buffett, but we stuck with the fare that they’re known for. The atmosphere is fun & laid back. The chicken sandwich and fried green tomato sandwich were excellent. We are definitely adding Brochu’s to our rotation of favorite Savannah restaurants! Updated: We celebrated my daughter’s college graduation this evening at Brochu’s. We were lucky enough to get a table inside without a reservation. From the host, to the server, to the cocktails, to the whole chicken meal, to the strawberry shortcake dessert, it was one of the best meals we’ve r ever had. Thank you, Brochu’s. 🍗

This is a great casual spot for a quality meal. I loved the oysters, salad, and chicken sandwich—all super fresh and seasoned well. The biscuits were mid, but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed spot with great ingredients and solid food!
Gray S — Google review
My sister really enjoyed this place. I didn’t think the toppings on the (raw) oysters were great. They don’t allow you to order one of each for 1/2 dozen. Ridiculous in my opinion. The charred chicken from the half bird was great! Moist and flavorful. However, the fried chicken was super thin (go to the Olde Pink House for that). More crust than meat. Biscuits were good, but not plain buttermilk so check before ordering. Friend green tomatoes were very good! We sat outside on a Wednesday night and it was easy to talk. You order and pay at the window and they bring the food to your table. Given that there are so many other incredible restaurants I won’t likely return to this one. That being said, I do hope you enjoy it.

Food is delicious! Recommend whole chicken dinner and chicken sandwich. Always have the best dessert. Service in Savannah can be tricky but with only one exception I get pretty nice servers.
Emma — Google review
Jillian was our server this evening. She was absolutely lovely! Kept our drinks full, table cleared, and gave us great recommendations (although we came in for the classic chicken sandwhich) we greatly appreciate her service to us. We also had 2 appetizers, crispy potatoes, and the chicken liver and bread. The chicken liver was amazing, the crispy potatoes were a little over seasoned for me. Had to stop eating them half way. Very delicious though! The chicken sandwhich is famous for a reason. Very zesty, moist and flavorful. The cherry on top was the banana pudding. Super sweet, great balance of pudding, cream, and cookies. Thank you!
Makenzy B — Google review
Most disappointing meal we've had in Savannah. #1 the menu does NOT state the chicken is boneless. Who serves boneless fried chicken? Also ordered dirty rice. It was terrible. Ordered raw "wasabi" oysters, no spice at all. Wedge salad was good, biscuits were good. The way the servers are taught is so weird, and designed to get you in and out. We were told we had to give our order (including drinks) all at once. Definitely felt rushed. Wouldn't go back.

Soul food restaurant
Southern restaurant (US)
Kim's Cafe is a beloved establishment in Savannah, located off of MLK by the Historic District. The cafe prides itself on putting people first and is deeply rooted in family, God, and a genuine love for anyone who walks through their doors. They offer a full menu of soul food from breakfast through early dinner and are actively involved with various local charities.
Saw great reviews for this restaurant on Instagram. While in Savannah I decided to try it myself. . . So happy I did!! The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. We ordered fried chicken with yams and greens for 1 meal and smothered turkey wings with rice along with yams and green beans for the second meal. Both meals were absolutely delicious. Pack your patience when you go because food does not come out quickly, but it is WELL worth the wait. We will definitely visit Kim's Cafe every time we visit Savannah!!

What a nice find in Savannah. Very cool, chill Cafe. Delicious soul food brunch and relaxed atmosphere with soothing soulful sounds and walls draped in interesting and cool African American art. This place has a I am at my cool arsty auntie who can cook house vibe 😊. Went for brunch and had the chicken and waffles the chicken was cooked nicely full of southern flavor. Wish I was in town longer would have loved to try one of the very southern African American lunch dishes. I loved this place will definitely visit again when I am in Savannah.

GREAT SERVICE (THANKS JADE), Superb Food and ULTIMATE PLAYLIST to create the vibe I wanted. We came here for a light breakfast after a night on the town and Kim’s did not disappoint. I had been craving a good salmon patty ( and I’m funny when it comes to what I call a good salmon patty). Well let me tell this is def the spot for it. I got the salmon patty breakfast sandwich (excellently priced) with scrambled eggs and cheese, a side of butter grits and a chamomile hot tea with cream and Splenda. Man but by the time Jade (our lovely and hospitable, might I add), server returned for a 2 min/2 bite check in I was already shaking a tail feather in my seat the food was so good I highly recommend Kim’s and definitely ask for Jade she knows what’s going on. I’m still sitting here as I type shaking and grooving. LUV IT HERE!!!! It’s a vibe.

Kim’s Cafe was worth the hype. My brother in law from Nassau, Bahamas who stops in during SSU’s homecoming every year has been talking about this place for a while. I live right here in Savanah and had never visited until today with some visiting friends and they too like myself said we’d certainly return. We went in at the perfect time as we walked in and sat down and watched the restaurant within minutes of our entry. We did wait about 30 minutes for our food, but clearly it’s because they spend time making sure every dish is made right. We ordered a lot and everyone was happily satisfied. Hope you will be too!

Loved the artwork around the restaurant! Service was greatly appreciated! The waitress helped me order my food in a way that allowed me to get exactly what I want! We came up with the low country boil over crab fried rice! LISTEN, LISTEN LINDA!!! OMG, THE BEST, THE ABSOLUTE BOMB!!!! Don’t knock it until you try it! It had Conch, shrimp, and sausage(I got mine without sausage). Tasted like my momma cooked for me!! Please RUN RUN, DON’T WALK THERE!!! My daughter enjoyed her meal as well!! Thank you Kim’s Cafe, will definitely be back!!!
Nicole C — Google review
Went to this establishment after seeing a review from a coworker. He really enjoyed, so me and my family went to try it out. Walked in and was immediately seen to order take out. Very lovely spot with awesome black art throughout. I ordered the blackened chick breast with mac&cheese and corn on the cob. Everything was delicious very well seasoned, nice and hot still even after driving home. Very well done and I will most certainly refer friends and family
Martin W — Google review
I usually love their food and would recommend them but NOT TODAY! I ordered thru ubereats and my total was around $32 for Smothered pork chops w/white rice, yams and collard greens. Plus some peach cobbler for dessert. Half of the pork chop was nothing but fat. I did not receive the yams ( gave me double greens and didn’t ask the driver to ask me would I like double greens or another side) or my drink. Let’s not even get started on the 4 (made on 07/02 , today’s is 07/06) day old peach cobbler that was $6 . It was mushy and tasted awful. I think I’ll take a break from this place and hopefully it will be better next time.
Khadijiah P — Google review
It’s a no for me, first and last time. Grits were cold & stiff, eggs were burned, fish had a good taste but batter was falling off completely. Food looked nothing like what is pictured, whoever cooked this needs to be ashamed, doesn’t look appetizing period
