Seafood restaurant
Sorry Charlie's Oyster Bar is a laid-back seafood restaurant that offers a variety of Southern specialties, craft cocktails, and draft beer. Located near many popular destinations on Congress Street in Savannah, it overlooks Ellis Square and provides a relaxing atmosphere for visitors to enjoy their meal. The restaurant is known for its raw bar featuring oysters, clams, and other seafood options served with various sauces.
As an Oyster lover, these are some of the very best I've ever had! We had a great experience at Sorry Charlie’s! The chef’s selection of eighteen oysters was the perfect way to start the meal as well as try a mix of everything they have to offer and paired great with our dirty martinis. We ordered the Po’ Boy sandwich which had a great crunch and bold seasoning. Another standout was the Salmon BLT. The salmon was cooked just right and paired with the BLT. We also tried the steak which was full of flavor! Additionally we tried the Cod and Shrimp Tacos. I would honestly pass on the tacos in comparison to the other entrees we tried. What shocked me most was the real star of the table being the Savannah red rice. It was uniquely flavorful and everyone at the table loved it as a side dish! Overall, for my first meal in Savannah, I would recommend this spot to anyone I know and will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

With all the options in Savannah, glad we picked Sorry Charlie's! Service was great. Food was delicious. I am not an oyster eater but there were plenty other options. Shrimp & grits were fantastic. I got red beans n rice also. The bar stayed full of people so I can assume drinks for made right:) Great location. Definitely recommend

Sorry Charlie’s is one of those spots in Savannah that just gets it right. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown, and the atmosphere feels both lively and relaxed. The service is genuinely impressive—friendly, fast, and they make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time in. The food lives up to the hype too—fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. From oysters to cocktails, everything feels thoughtfully done. Overall, it’s one of those places where great location, great service, and great food actually meet.

This place is da bomb! Believe the reviews — the service, hospitality, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Our food came out piping hot in under five minutes and was perfectly seasoned. The flavors were straight out of New Orleans! The oysters aren’t chargrilled, but they’re just as delicious. We tried the grouper, salmon, and snapper, and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was. I will most definitely come back here ❤️❤️

We had a really nice experience at Sorry Charlie’s! The mussels were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The cornbread, served in a little cast-iron skillet, was a fun touch and tasted great, though I wish there had been just a bit more of it. The extra saffron butter was completely amazing and really stood out. They didn’t have the dish we originally wanted for dinner, so we went with the short rib risotto instead. While it had good flavor, it leaned more like a hearty stew than the creamy risotto I was hoping for, so it just wasn’t quite my favorite for the evening. That said, the service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The mocktails were also well done — creative and tasty. Overall, it was a good dining experience with some standout dishes, and I’d definitely go back to try more of the menu.

I came in for happy hour. The rooftop was cool. I only had some fresh oysters the bull river oysters were sweet and pleasant. I can't remember the name of the $2 oyster. They had a slight briner taste. They were good also. The staff is nice also.
James W — Google review
Our whole experience was amazing. The waitress was awesome and the oyster..omg the best I've had in a loooong time. Will definitely visit again when in Savannah!!
Sonya S — Google review
Spare of a moment stop at Sorry Charlie’s Oyster bar. Nice location in City Market, good food and yummy drinks. The first night we had dinner here and ordered my first oyster shooter. I liked it and wanted more. The second night, we went again to kill some time before our dinner at the Lady & Sons, to the second floor to the tiki bar where we has a couple of more drinks like a mock lemonade and a banana drink which I don’t recall the name. They also have a rooftop bar but it was very hot and humid so it wasn’t our vibe that night Definitely make it a point to stop here, the scenery is lively for sure.

The Ordinary Pub, nestled in a basement on Broughton Street in Savannah, offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with its exposed-brick walls. The menu goes beyond typical pub fare, featuring creative dishes like Pork Belly Donut Sliders and Loaded Fritter Tots. From Gumbo to Stone Ground Grits and even brunch options like the Brunner Bowl, there's something for everyone.
My first time at The Ordinary Pub and also my first time having bison. The bison seemed bland, having more emphasis on the fried breading and not spiced much at all. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were very delicious. My date had the fried green tomatoes sliders appetizer as her meal which was more that sufficient and said was very delicious. The service was continuously attentive and friendly, definitely worth a repeat visit. The atmosphere had a good crowd. The music was a bit loud where we were but that was because we were next to the speaker. Overall a very good experience and will try many other dishes here.

Pretty dope underground spot in Historic Downtown Savannah. They had a sign outside the entrance saying “$15 bottomless mimosas,” and that was the hook that pulled us in. The catch is that you have to order an entree in order to get the deal, so please be aware. The food was pretty good overall. We tried the Chicken & Waffle Gyro, with loaded grits, along with the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and cornbread. All of it was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned, and the loaded grits with cheese, bacon bits, scallions, and the whipped marscapone was fire 🔥 The cornbread tasted sweet and homemade, which I loved, and they give you two pieces. The prices are moderately high, but expected for the area. Stop by if you’re around town, you wont be disappointed.

Great brunch spot! Our server was awesome. The food and drinks were amazing! We had a big party celebrating a birthday and everyone loved their food. I particularly enjoyed the Chorizo Brunch skillet. The pork belly sliders were phenomenal and everyone loved them. Two people got the Pub Club and they both said it was the best club they’d ever had. The steak, eggs and grits were also top notch!
Maureen B — Google review
Worst burger I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like someone took already cooked burger patties and then mushed them together and set it on top of stale angel food cake. Sorry not sorry. When you charge $25 for a burger you need to deliver. The Brussels were drenched in some weird syrup. The cheese on the pub fries was like a watered down flavorless paste of some sort. This place is constantly recommended on Facebook groups and I’ve been dying to go, but I cannot in good conscience recommend it. Even if the food was good, it was extremely hot inside and made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.
Theresa L — Google review
This place was a vibe! As you walk down the stairs, the pub vibe hits you! We didn't wait long for our seats on the Sunday we visited. We were looking for a local spot to eat, and when we walked up, the bottomless mimosas sign roped us right in. We started our meal off with the loaded fries and we were nearly licking the bowl. The cheese sauce was phenomenal. As we enjoyed our mimosas we ordered from the delectable menu. I ordered a massive spinach and shrimp salad with feta, my sister ordered loaded hashbrowns, and my niece ordered one of the biggest club sandwiches I've ever seen. The food was delicious, the waiter was fantastic, and the vibes were great. There were Bachelorette parties, friends, and families enjoying meals at tables and the bar. Can't wait to go back!!
Parker S — Google review
We had a lot of fun at the ordinary pub and really enjoyed our dinner. We couldn’t get in at the chive so we called an audible and came to the Ordinary Pub instead. Everyone in our group was pleasantly surprised by their food and drinks. I would definitely eat here again. The mushroom pasta was unique and something different, we really liked it. The salmon Felix was really good, as well as the fried green tomatoes. The low key star of the show was the pork belly sliders though - the slider buns were soooo good!
B P — Google review
What a cool place. So different from the ordinary. We had a super great server, Katie, and everyone there was nice. The mango jalapeño cider was yummy. Not strong tasting and kinda sweet, which I like. The Irish ale was stout tasting and good. The meatballs were good, but more sauce would be better. The savannah burger with loaded fries was great all around. The duck Tacos with the slaw really tasty. Would definitely recommend this place. So fun.
Mary N — Google review
We came in so that we could get a few Happy Hour items to share. We went for the Fried Green Tomato Caprese, Loaded Pub Fries, Meatballs, and Olive & Cheese plate. It was all very tasty and we enjoyed it all. My personal favorite was the Fried Green Tomatoes. I could have eaten the whole thing myself! The few cocktails we got were hit or miss. The two martinis we ordered were good, but the seasonal one(the name escapes me now) tasted like how a candle smells. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a great time.

Southern restaurant (US)
Restaurant
Husk Savannah, a sister to its successful outposts in Charleston, Greenville, and Nashville, opened in 2018. The restaurant is located in the heart of Savannah's historic district and offers a Southern-inspired menu that changes daily based on seasonal availability. The dishes celebrate the region's bounty with ingredients sourced from local and regional farmers. The restaurant is housed in a landmark mansion with porch seating and features a large dining room filled with colorful artwork.
The entire experience was amazing. Atmosphere: this restaurant is in a house built in the 1800s. It's been through some different things. A ballroom (now dining room) was added. There was a fire so things had to be repaired. It's stunning! Our server, David, was excellent - knowledgeable and attentive. They have a rotating menu. Everything we ate was outstanding. Put it on your list.
Ruth G — Google review
We celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night and had a fantastic evening. The service and the food were exceptional and the kitchen made my wife feel very special. The whole fish with the wood fire smokiness was my favorite. A great night had by all. Thank you team Husk for such a great night.
Anthony D — Google review
My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we are so glad we did! This was the most delicious meal either of us have ever had! The paddle fish roe is delectable, the oysters were divine and the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had! We also got a side of collard greens and I didn't know they could have that much flavor! Between the atmosphere, service and food this place scores a 10/10 in our book! We will definitely be back to dine here again!
Lindsay B — Google review
Husk is great if you like the farm to table vibe. Not real great options for menu choices, smaller unique menu. Smaller plates and very $$$$. Got the ribeye for $150 and wasn’t that impressed. Grits was banging though. Inside is stunning. Very old English building. Nice to go once.
Bri J — Google review
My husband and I were in town for a concert and decided to try Husk. We sat in the main dinning room upstairs which was stunning yet cozy, even with this large room they were able to make it feel intimate. We started with a hibiscus infused old-fashioned which may sound odd, but the subtle floral infusion turned a classic cocktail into something truly special.. We shared the coal fired chicken, which may sound simple, but the sauce and side made it a wonderful combination. The shrimp and grits was a bit too rich for me but my husband thought it was some of the best he’s had. What really made the evening was our server Kelly. His knowledge of the menu, wine, and cocktail list was exceptional. It was like having a pairing dinner. He introduced us to some wines that we would not have considered. The highlight was desert. Kelly suggested an apple brandy to accompany the cheesecake with an amazing crust, topped with fresh cream and poached pears. The pears, chessecake and brandy combo was the perfect ending to our meal. We can’t wait to return on our next visit and will definitely ask for Kelly.
Debra S — Google review
A must in Savannah! We visited the Charleston location and actually preferred this one. Located in an historic home, Husk offers amazing food and a great atmosphere. We had Kelly as our waiter and he was the best! One of our favorite waiters we’ve ever had. He was personal and gave great recommendations for us in the area. - they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy.
Hayden S — Google review
The food, service and atmosphere could not have been better. We've frequented the Charleston staple and very much miss the Greenville Husk. This was our first visit to Husk Savannah. Our expectations were high but they were met.
Rob D — Google review
Loved our experience at Husk. Our server Beth made everything on the menu sound delicious! We tried the pimento cheese appetizer and the French toast biscuits - the biscuits were my favorite of the two, so yummy! I had the fried chicken. It was good but I will try something else on my next visit. The Husk mimosa was great as well!

The Grove Savannah is a stylish restaurant and rooftop bar located in the lively City Market area. With multiple floors of entertainment, including a charming rooftop with panoramic views, it offers a trendy yet relaxing atmosphere to savor Southern cuisine paired with signature cocktails and craft beer. The restaurant's cozy seating areas and twinkling lights create a magical ambiance, making it an ideal spot for both romantic evenings and fun gatherings with friends.
We decided to do an Appetizer tour in the mid afternoon and thankfully we ended up here! Outstanding service, music and cocktails! “We ate up on the rooftop patio and Mary was fun and on top of it”. The Cajun Angels were AMAZING! Charcuterie was full of delicious cheeses and meats. Headed back there tomorrow for our last Day in Savannah.

this place is great. Great view of the city on the rooftop. Bartender was excellent great personality. We had bacon wrapped shrimp. It was awesome! And I have an old-fashioned that was delicious as well. Great atmosphere or midday or happy hour would totally recommended for any age or crowd.

wonderful experience at the grove! perfect spot for sunday football. our server Allie was so lovely and made the most amazing drinks! delicious fall aperol spritz and pumpkin spice espresso martini - seriously so good! also the wings are delicious! favorite spot, will definitely be back <3

This ribeye was DELICIOUS. Truly one of the top 4 best tasting steaks, and I have dined at many nice restaurants. The service was incredible. Our server, Matt, was extremely attentive and kind. I wanted a muddled fresh fruit mojito and they were able to make that happen. It was delicious!! I would highly recommend this place!
Whitney O — Google review
This place offers a beautiful view and often has great live music, making it a nice spot to hang out with friends. Unfortunately, the service is quite slow, and the tables are often left dirty between guests, which takes away from the overall experience. The cocktails were really disappointing, both in taste and presentation. With some improvements in cleanliness and service, this could be a great venue.
Francesca R — Google review
We sat at the bar upstairs. Great vibe and heavy poured drinks! My BLT was awesome! The wife said the sauce on her fish tacos was overpowering everything on the tacos. I had to agree after I tried it. The fries are legit the best fries ever!

Best meal I've had in quite a while! The parmesan pasta w/shrimp was so yummy! The "Adult Capri Sun" cocktail was delicious!

Located on East Broughton St., Common Restaurant is anything but ordinary. Housed in a 140-year-old national historic building, this industrial-chic venue offers an exceptional dining experience. The menu features unique flavor combinations like Pineapple Situation fried rice and white gumbo with cheese grits. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh local produce, meat, and cheeses to create award-winning brunch and dinner services.
This is an exceptional place to eat in Savannah. You will not be disappointed! Our server, Brian, was outstanding and shared the menu highlights and specials and answered all of our questions with kindness and a smile. People like Brian make eating out worth it. Thank you for hiring good people! We tried the Grit Puppies and Pork Belly Donuts for appetizers and they are BOTH very delicious! Our entrees were the Brunch Bowl and the Steak (brisket) and eggs. The Brunch Bowl is SO YUMMY. I would love to enjoy that dish again. I also had the cappuccino which was NEEDED! I hope you make time to enjoy a meal here!

We got lucky on a Saturday night and were able to grab a bar seat, otherwise the wait would have been over an hour for a table! The restaurant is decorated very nicely and the staff were very attentive! We began with oysters - two of each for a total of ten. A few were local and others were from up north. They were excellent! The sangria vinaigrette that came with them was a nice change from the norm. The white gumbo was the best gumbo I’ve ever had. The flavor and texture was amazing. The shrimp had a nice grilled flavor to them that really stood out. My wife had the pineapple situation, a half pineapple filled with pineapple fried rice and topped with mahi mahi, with a chili glaze on top. She said it was phenomenal and a very unique dish! Overall, we loved it and will be back!

We ate here for lunch while visiting Savannah. Highly recommended. The food is absolutely delicious. We got the brisket sandwich and split it because believe me it’s huge. Bloody Mary mix was one of the best I’ve ever had. We sat at the bar and Olivia was a great bartender and server. The atmosphere is great it’s beautifully decorated. Clearly at one time it was an old post office, which they kept the post office boxes on the front side of the entrance. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Savannah.

We celebrated with our family for brunch in their private room. This was hands down one of the best rooms to book! So much space and the service was so good. They even had a little surprise for us which was the cherry on top. They recommended some amazing wines too.

Great atmosphere, super friendly bartender/server and hostess. The crab cakes benedict is amazing and plenty of food for two people, absolutely worth the money. The bottomless mimosas are the perfect blend of champagne and OJ, and the server/bartender will refill them for you instead of having a bottle at your table. You HAVE to try the espresso martini. It is AMAZING. We loved this place and would love to come back when we're in town again. 🫶🏻

String of mixed restaurant experiences lately. I have been to Common in the past and had a good experience. Aside from the pickled poutine fries, the food this time was very mediocre. The mac & cheese was undercooked and warm at best. The brisket and grits were both near room temperature. Even the egg was a little cold. The gravy was the hottest thing on my plate and it was tasty. I think the food sat around too long because others got theirs before us even though they ordered later. Service was nice. Bottomless mimosas were a great deal. I don't know, maybe next time if I don't order apps then it will be better?
Tanna L — Google review
I came here for my birthday when I was visiting and I was blown away by the great service and hospitality! This was by far my favorite place that I dined at while I was here. They took the time to hand write a card for my birthday, which included a little pineapple pin as a gift. I will say they open for dinner service at 5:00PM. I had a reservation right at 5 and they couldn't seat me until the exact time of my reservation, which was fine for me because there are a lot of great shops to look around in while you wait. I believe the bar is open for seating from 3:00PM - 6:00PM. The waiter was very knowledgeable about all of the dishes. I had an excellent Smoked Bacon Old Fashioned. Next I had a dozen fresh oysters. These came out with a few different types of toppings to try. They were reasonably priced as they were off the Prelude (Happy Hour) menu. I also had the Scallop Aguachile, which was great and very fresh. The chef sent out a special appetizer which was a type of bread that had a wild mushroom sauce and fresh radish slices on it. I didn't find it on the menu but I absolutely enjoyed it! They do have a dessert menu, so make sure you save room if you want dessert. I had Creme Brulee as a dessert and it was honestly one of the best I've had! I can't recommend this place enough. The only regret I had was that I couldn't do the Tasting Menu which had a lot of things that I was excited to try. However, time constraints prevented me from taking the time to enjoy it. (I had a tour booked for later that evening.) Make sure you have enough time to enjoy everything this restaurant has to offer and give this a place a try the next time you're in the area!

This was an awesome dinner experience for my wife and I. We had planned a trip to Savannah for our 10-year anniversary and wanted a place that felt comfortable yet private. This place provided just that. Upon arrival, we were greeted and wished a Happy Anniversary. They even had a table ready for us with a special hand-written card. Our waiter, Marty, was excellent. The conversation, the knowledge of the food, and the willingness to make our dinner perfect. Plenty of drink options from the bar. Now for the food, WOW!!! Don't worry about being skimped on portions. This place provides you with plenty. We had the bread and butter. This is not your everyday bread. This was homemade from scratch sourdough bread from their own bakery (on the 3rd floor). This was not an overpowering sourdough taste, but a nice subtle and airy bread. For an appetizer, we had the Sweet Potato Gnocchi and it could have been a meal of its own. Again the gnocchi was hand-made in that 3rd floor bakery. Dinner consisted of Smoked Scallops for my wife and I had a Bone-In Pork Chop with sweet potato and broccolini. Both of these dishes were on point. We finished off dinner by sharing a Banana Pudding with home-made vanilla wafers. Are you starting to get the picture of the pride these folks put into their food and the experience? Top notch place that I highly recommend.

The Fitzroy is an upscale American pub offering a blend of elegant and casual vibes in Savannah's historic building. It features a stylish interior dining room and an open-air rooftop with Melbourne-inspired pub food, signature cocktails, craft brews, and wines. This restaurant stands out among the nicest restaurants in Savannah for its Australian-influenced cuisine, making it a unique dining experience in the American South.
We were attending a conference downtown at River Street and wanted to get off of the beaten path and try something different. We found The Fitzroy and the reviews and pictures looked delicious. So, we made a reservation and we are so glad that we did. Everything was fantastic and very unique in a delightful way. We sat on the rooftop and just had an enjoyable meal. Zach took great care of us and we highly recommend giving this restaurant a go if you enjoy really great food.

A fun slightly hidden location in Savannah it’s also part of the southern Cross hospitality group that owns Collins quarter and couple and a couple other Savannah spots. We’ve now been here a couple times, recommend a reservation as there’s not a ton of seating, especially during meal times. The cocktails and drinks are always great and the service is superb just like their other establishments. The food was also good. The only drawback is that it took a while for us to get it for only a group of four and two of the four dishes were pretty cold by the time we got them. It’s one thing to let a steak rest for a little bit, but to get a cold pork chop or chicken is definitely less appealing considering the price you pay. The flavors were good, which made the meal redeemable. Really, the dessert which was the caramel crunch bread-pudding, and bourbon fudge is what closed it out for us in a strong way.

Ate here for a private group dinner and had an amazing time, all handled very well by our sever Steve. The starters and sides are all great, with favorites being the eggplant dip and meatballs. The fried flounder was amazing, and the swordfish was good as well. The Bees in the Trap cocktail was pretty good as well.

Absolutely wonderful, the ambiance, food and service was immaculate.. My server Audo was so attentive, had wonderful knowledge of the menu, and had great recommendations along with his own personality adding to the experience. 10 out of 10 recommend.. Forget to take before eating!!

Wow, what a wonderful place!! Zack was absolutely incredible — very kind, hospitable, and had fantastic recommendations! We had the 1/2 chicken, surf and turf, and bread pudding. It was absolutely fantastic and we look forward to visiting again someday.

The food was good, but my Bourbon Sour came in a really small glass. The sourdough with the spicy butter is a must way better than the one it normally comes with (thanks to Otto, our server, for the great recommendation!). We both ordered burgers; my fiancé asked for bacon but didn’t get it in the end. Overall, it was okay but not amazing.

I've been here three times now. The first 2 times were really awesome. They staff was very attentive and accommodating and the food and drinks were so good. It seems now like they limited their menu, which is no problem at all, but if you are only doing a couple items then they should be good. My wife and I sat at about 715. Took about 20 mins for drinks and apps, no problem because they are busy. The drinks were great and the app was pretty good. Our waiter didn't refill our water for about an hour- hour and a half. At about 8:30 they came to tell my my food was ready but my wife's was not, so I decided to wait till hers was ready. We both ordered the same thing, steak fries, mine was medium hers was medium well. They finally came about 845. Which is a crazy timeline for 2 people sitting down at 715. But they are busy so I'm not making a big deal. The steak was honestly pretty bad. My wife couldn't eat hers because the sauce was insanely strong with peppercorns. Like they just dumped peppercorns on the steak, it was wild. Mine was super chewy and fatty, which the fat was white so I know it was cooked improperly. Also it made my stomach hurt a bit. It wouldn't be a big deal if we payed $20 for the steak but for $50 it should be good. Especially after waiting so long. If you are going to charge high dollar for steak then just make it worth it because people are spending hard earned money. And the staff seemed like they really did not care about us at all. So many people got food and drinks before us, nobody even asked if we needed anything till we got our food. They just set us and totally forgot about us. It's just sad because this place was so awesome the last 2 times. I would say if you are looking for a restaurant, just try somewhere else. It seems like it's following the pattern of Savannah restaurants, starting strong and falling off a cliff after 2-3 years. I was a server downtown for 6 years so I understand the struggles of being busy and having a hard time but this was just unacceptable.

The food was great but what made the experience was the waiter. It is amazing how the staff can make or break an experience. I would go back here 100 times just based on how friendly and upbeat the waiter was

Ardsley Station is a popular neighborhood spot in Savannah, offering a special brunch experience with traditional morning meals like buttermilk biscuits and bourbon sausage gravy. The menu also includes creative beverage choices, and diners can opt for indoor or outdoor seating. As one of the newest eateries in the area, it's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the afternoon with its chic atmosphere and outdoor patio seating.
The food was good. The only thing I didn't care for was the queso appetizer. There was nothing speical about it. All other food was good especially the wings !! I do recommend making reservations.

My first time at Ardsley Station was nice. The environment is cozy and has a great overall vibe. I ordered the ribs and collard greens. Both were good by itself, however combined it’s not pretty good. I had a lot of sauce on my ribs, which were then placed inside a bowl on top of my collard greens. I personally couldn’t really enjoy the collard greens because of that. Despite that I enjoyed what I could from the meal.

Came here for lunch with a group a few weeks ago. The decor is really nice & the space is bright. They were able to seat all of us immediately which was awesome since it was SCADs graduation week. Deviled eggs were good but felt it was a bit excessive for only 1.5 eggs (3 pieces). The pimento cheese was excellent, I highly highly recommend getting that. I’d come back for that alone! However, the rest of the meal was kind of mediocre. Our burger was burnt on the bottom & we just really didn’t like the smoky flavor of the wings. Our server was super accommodating & kind, so overall the experience itself was great but the food was really underwhelming.

Ardsley station is such a cute spot to meet up with friends! The music is great and low enough to where you’d still be able to have a conversation, the service is great, and the drinks are delicious! The food is interesting but you can find something you like. I’ve been here twice and I must say the food doesn’t keep me coming back but the vibes do.

It’s a really cool spot in Savannah to grab a really good consistent meal. We haven’t had a bad meal here. They have made some changes since we’ve been coming, which is cool. The parking lot is now paved and they have additional parking. We had the hot honey wings, Cuban with truffle fries, and the Prime Rib dip. The wings and the Cubano were really good and one of the things we usually get when we come here. The prime rib dip was a little bit lackluster as far as the seasoning, the horseradish aioli was fantastic. We each had a couple of cocktails and they were good as well.

If you’re in the area you must come here! They were so accommodating, as I brought my dog with us to sit outside and enjoy dinner with us. Hannah made our experience so incredible as she was so kind and so accommodating to myself and my dog. The appetizers were incredible and the caramel cake dessert left me speechless! Will definitely be back next time we are in Savannah!

From the very first phone call I knew this was going to be a very special experience. We needed special accommodations for one in our group. Tammy went above and beyond to ensure we had our reservation and that all was taken care of. Tammy met us on arrival to make sure everything was satisfactory. We felt spoiled before we even sat down. Our server Andrew simply doted over our group, while not interrupting so we could socialize. The food was Five Stars only because I can't give more. First we had the most incredible appetizers: bruschetta, pickled beets w tzatziki sauce, buttermilk fried oysters, and watermelon salad. Each one was out of this world! For dinner I had shrimp and grits, and it was the best I have ever had. The Tasso Gravy was simply divine! It had perfect balance - flavorful and spicy. The others in our group had the backyard bolognese, flounder, a filet, and gnocchi. All were as much or more pleased than I was! Thank you Chef Tony for a truly wonderful evening!

Go now. All the food was amazing. Drinks were incredible, classic but imaginative. Bourbon selection and prices were on point! Looking at their bourbon/ryes list I was impressed. Incredible selection, including some more rare pours, and the prices were awesome. Not unde priced but so many people overcharge, especially on the “big names,” i.e. the allocated stuff. I had to get multiple pours because of that and I spent more because of that as well. Smart on the restaurant’s part. Server was great, very accommodating, and all the staff were doing well working together and communicating with the tables. Fried oysters were incredible, deviled eggs were delicious and the pork chop was choice. It was cooked perfectly and had a nice light crust on it while still being tender. Turtle cheesecake was as you might guess based on my review so far, delicious. Manhaddy was top notch. Go now. Stop what you’re doing and go. You’ll be mad at yourself if you don’t.

Vic's On the River is a top-notch dining spot housed in a 19th-century warehouse, offering classic Southern cuisine. Situated in Savannah's Historic District, the restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance with vintage decor and stunning river views. The menu features modern twists on regional favorites like crab cakes, pan-seared jumbo scallops, braised-beef short ribs, and farm-raised burgers served alongside traditional southern sides.
We'd been wandering along the Riverside and happened upon this place around lunchtime. The place met our needs since there were five of us plus two small dogs and the outside section suited, even if we did have a short wait. Not surprisingly there was a larger proportion of fish dishes and some very interesting starters. I absolutely loved the meat loaf though the special, grouper and grits was perhaps less well rated by the two who had it. No problems with the drinks, I can certainly recommend the Scofflaw Atlanta IPA, and the Wild Leap and Wicked Weed were also well received. The main indoor section of the restaurant was very smart and it was easy to see why this place is popular. We loved Chereece, our server. She was a real character and our dogs were made welcome.

Vic’s on the River was outstanding! I started with the Riesling Pear Salad, which was light, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My lunch entrée was the seared scallops—perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the Caesar salad and the Blackened Seafood Alfredo, and everything was fresh and tasty. Our waiter, Rick, was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. He even brought me the bottle of delicious Riesling so I could photograph it for a future purchase. We loved everything about this place and can’t wait to return@
Cora R — Google review
One of the few places on the riverfront that locals actually eat, according to local tour guides. The portions, preparation, presentation, and quality were all up to standard. You won’t regret eating here, but it is very pricey. The French onion soup and Caesar salad made for great starters, the latter was a true Caesar, with anchovies. The former did replace the traditional Gruyère with provolone, I don’t feel like it reduced the quality, but if you’re a purist, take note. The entrees were all great, but the braised short rib stood out as particularly good. The value for money ($28) on such a well prepared and large piece of meat is worth considering when choosing your meal. The staff was attentive, but there were also plenty of people on shift to handle the crowd, which has become rare and to the detriment of the broader service industry.

We were lucky to walk in and get a cozy table in the bar area without reservations. Our server was friendly and attentive. The biscuits and honey butter were delicious. I ordered the salmon dish. The outside had a perfect crisp while keeping the inside moist and perfectly cooked. Hubby loved the smash burger.

Great place with a great price for being next to the river with a riverside view. The service was amazing, our waitress took such good care of us and the food did not take too long to come out. The food itself was amazing, definitely recommend the catfish dish. Everything tasted super fresh. For dessert, the chocolate liquor was also an amazing finish to a meal and I would recommend the chocolate torte

We had a truly wonderful dining experience at Vic’s on the River! From start to finish, the service was impeccable. Our server, LJ, was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The other staff who helped throughout the lunch were equally friendly and professional, making the whole experience feel seamless and special. The food was phenomenal—especially the shrimp and grits, which were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the fried green tomatoes, which were crispy and bursting with Southern charm. To top it off, they surprised us with a lovely special chocolate treat for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration and can’t wait to return next time we’re in Savannah!

This place was amazing! The atmosphere, food, and drinks were all excellent. I ordered the short rib, lobster tail, and a blueberry lemon drop everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The short rib was tender and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure our party was well taken care of. The meal and service were worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back!

Came here for my birthday dinner tonight, and all I can say is WOW. Javita was incredible, and the food was excellent. Cotton & Rye is a creative New American gastropub located in a former 1950s bank with an all-American bar and a deck. The restaurant was born when the building was sold and transformed into Cotton & Rye by Brian and his partners. Initially envisioning a New York style deli shop, they settled on creating this unique dining spot. The sleek interior of the remodeled mid-century modern bank wowed visitors, who were impressed by the level of service received.
Great place for dinner. We had the shrimp and grits (amazing), seasonal crudo (excellent), smash cheeseburger (excellent), vegetable lasagna, and peanut butter pie (pretty good). Everything we got, except the pie, was gluten-free.

The waiter had the detail of an engineer in describing things. The wife had me on the app with her shrimp and grits excelling over my octopus despite how good it was once I got into the jalapeño scrudge. With entrees came a new round, though. I went for the coulette/picana and got scared when they wouldn't do medium rare+; the last coulette I got medium rare was underdone so I hesitantly went for medium. Fear not! the chef said,.and it came out, and it was good. I took a bite and it was okay... then my tongue said "hang on a sec...", and things settled.... or something started to wake up... and my taste buds said "yooooo" as the dance party started. See menu snip so I don't have to type the party attendees out. My entree took redemption over the wife's app.

I highly recommend this place. Everything was excellent. We started with the award-winning crispy chicken wings. They were a little messy to eat but very good. For entrées, we had the local trout and the pork chop. Both were flavorful, but I would pick the pork chop because the portion was larger and it came with collard greens and potatoes. We also added a side of Brussels sprouts, which were crispy and seasoned well, and they included fried okra with it. The service was outstanding. Asia was friendly, attentive, and explained the menu clearly. I will definitely come back, and I suggest making reservations.

One of my favorite restaurants my girlfriend and I go out to. Our waitress was really kind and nice. She was always attentive and knew when we needed to be checked on. Drinks, delectable. Food, fantastic. That candy bar though? To die for. The candy bar is so good here that I bring it to my mother all the way in Atlanta. It is her favorite dessert. Overall another excellent experience and dinner, will be returning shortly.

Do yourself a favor and just come here. You will thank yourself. This is the choices my partner and I made while dining here. The Local Trout (chef’s kiss), the Almighty most delicious Fried Chicken I have experienced in a long while, and top of the line dirty martini. *SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT* This is a MUST. We experienced the candy bars and chocolate cake. So incredibly delicious. There is a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The dress is dressy casual I would say. I would visit Savannah again just to experience this restaurant again.

The flavors and spices are gourmet-incredible. I’m not surprised they won an award for the crispy wings ($17), you have to have them. The service was excellent and for being hailed as THE restaurant to go to in Savannah, the prices aren’t bad. It’s all about the food, but I think a lil music to enhance the atmosphere would be good.

Had dinner with my bridal party here and it was a great way to kick off our trip! Some good shareable sides like the Brussel sprouts which had great flavor. The food was overall very flavorful and filling and definitely worth trying a friend’s plate if they’re willing to share! They were also really good about substituting when possible and accommodating allergies. We were also seated quickly and had very nice service but unfortunately the atmosphere became very loud when the room filled up to the point of almost scream talking.

I have always loved zunzis but very disappointed that in this economic atmosphere they have nearly tripled the prices while substantially (like the sandwhiches are half the size they used to be) decreasing the portions and ingredients. The most recent pictures in these reviews are no longer accurate. As someone who works food service at a great restaurant with managers who respond to issues like these, I hope they address it and turn it around so they stay open! I've seen great business' like this go under because of greediness at the top and it breaks my heart!

Their new cocktail menu is worth checking out, and if you’re in the 26 Club, don’t forget your Flipcoin—each visit gets you a new one with a shot at free sauce or surprise offers. Big shoutout to our server Cameron—friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

The Savannah Historic District, also known as Downtown Savannah, is a must-visit area with its 18th and 19th-century architecture and picturesque public spaces. It's the heart of the city, boasting top attractions, hotels, restaurants, and well-preserved streets adorned with live oaks draped in Spanish moss. This district is a living museum that has retained its charm while being home to thriving residential neighborhoods.
Loved the Savannah Historic District! It's a beautiful and charming area that truly feels like stepping back in time. The architecture is stunning, with cobblestone streets, historic homes, and moss-draped oak trees creating a picturesque atmosphere around every corner. Forsyth Park is absolutely gorgeous! The iconic fountain, wide green spaces, and shaded walking paths make it the perfect place to relax or take a stroll. It really captures the essence of Savannah’s Southern charm.

Simply stated, it’s one of the most beautiful cities you can visit. This time of year the weather is perfect for touring the town. Take the Trolley tour. There are 16 stops and the drivers are very knowledgeable about all the history and the buildings/homes. The selection of restaurants is incredible, ranging from burgers to fresh seafood. It’s also very walkable, within reason. Parking can be very difficult to find in the Garden District. Take the trolley, it’s goes to many places around the city.

Savannah is a beautiful city to explore!! Lots of history. We unfortunately only had a day, and it definitely wasn't enough time. We did the hop on hop off trolley tours. It was nice to have transportation around the area for the day while also having the freedom to just get off and explore. Which I highly recommend you do! The cemetery was very neat to see. I hope on our next trip to see more of what Savannah has to offer. These photos are just a glimpse into what we saw and what you can look forward to seeing yourself.

I enjoyed the candy store I don’t remember the name but they make the candy there and give you samples. It’s a great shop to visit and bring the kids when visiting here. Walking down the waterfront was also nice and watching the boats pass by was neat. There is so much to look at and visit. The shops have a variety of options and restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend visiting here with family. Make sure to check the weather because it can get hot.

The hospitable staff ensures a delightful experience for friends, family, and colleagues to gather and enjoy a memorable meal. The inviting atmosphere and attentive service make it an ideal place for leisurely dining and relaxation.
B. Matthew’s did NOT disappoint! The biscuits were warm, fluffy, and the perfect start. I ordered the catch of the day (halibut) which was fresh and beautifully seasoned, alongside the seasonal risotto topped with a Cajun chicken breast. ALL absolutely top tier. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and every bite felt thoughtfully prepared. Between the welcoming service and incredible food, this is a must-visit spot in Savannah!

We had a very nice brunch here. The atmosphere was very inviting. The food was really tasty too. We had the blueberry biscuits appetizer - they melted in your mouth and were quite yummy. Drinks were also quite tasty. The Gas-lit Mary that I even liked and I don't like bloody Mary's, and a Rochester Coffee ... very delicious. Our entree was the Chicken 'N Biscuit with eggs and grits - yum! Very nice time with great food, drinks and service.

This was a delicious stop for a late lunch in Savannah. We weren't feeling overly hungry, but we knew we needed to eat something, so we ordered off their starter menu. We had sangria, fried green tomatoes, orange blueberry biscuits, and the cheese plate. We were hungrier than we thought because we devoured every bite.

I had such a great experience at B. Matthew’s Eatery! I ordered the shrimp and grits with collard greens and tomatoes, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and so comforting. The real standout was the blueberry biscuit with orange glaze—sweet, bright, and one of the best treats I’ve had in a while. Even the coffee was smooth and rich, and I have to say, they take care with the small things too—the water was crisp and refreshing. Fun fact 🤔🤔 1) It’s housed in a beautifully restored late 1700’s building that is said to have once been one of Savannah’s earliest taverns. 2) In the basement, there are stories of iron rings attached to the walls and a long-sealed tunnel that may have once led to the Savannah River.

Enjoyed my brunch experience here! The food was very fresh and the portion was perfect. I did ask for a substitute (fruit instead of potatoes) and unfortunately it didn’t come out that way so I needed to wait for them to remake it. That aside, I would recommend this as a spot to try if you’re looking for something with healthier options as well.

Very nice bartender. The fried chicken and biscuit were fantastic - flavorful, fresh and hot. The chicken was perfectly tender, the breakfast potatoes lightly crispy. The gravy was thick but not overly so. The mimosa was strong, $10. I was served instantly - shockingly fast, within 5 mins of ordering. Highly recommended.

Savannah City Market is a historic four-block open-air market in Savannah's Historic District that has been around since the 1700s. It has withstood significant events throughout history and is now preserved as a landmark. The market is housed within restored warehouse buildings and offers various shopping and dining experiences, including British bakeries, seafood houses, daquiri dispensaries, and ice cream shops. Additionally, it features local artists showcasing their work in different mediums.
This was a fun stop to explore when getting off at the trolley stop. The prohibition museum was a must see and lunch at Paula Dean and Sons restaurant was wonderful.

Love the inner closed streets for wandering. Music seemed to be playing everywhere which gave a great atmosphere! The bathroom situation is less than ideal, everywhere says market closes at 6, but by 530 info center was closed. Need a key for the public bathroom in the artist building but artist shops have notes saying no key;don’t ask 🤷‍♀️. Birds cookie shop had SUPER friendly staff. The candy shop did not. Pizza smelled delicious and I regret not trying it! Was a fun time to walk around and enjoy a little time!

Interesting place. Dog and adult beverages friendly. Lots of shops and places to eat. The pizza at Vinnie's was delicious. A very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours before dinner.

The flags that were on display said "Fall in Love with the City Market" and that was an easy one for us! This market was huge with most buildings having two floors loaded with unique and bougie shops, art galleries, food specialties, and much much more. Proprietors were so friendly and informative and attentive to your curiosities and we were in no pressure for time to leave any shop not visited. A must if you're ever visiting the downtown Savannah area!

This place was an unexpected treat! Reminded me of 'The French Market' in New Orleans! More open air than the French Market. Wide pedestrian only streets made walking easy. Nice clusters of retail shops, art galleries, and restaurants of every type. Better yet, this place stays open til 10pm! Yes, It's a tourist trap but it's NOT a bunch of 'Made in China' crap! It ALL local craft persons selling well-made, functional items. Check out the gorgeous bags made of recycled sail cloth! The shoe place next door was awesome! In need of a sugar fix? FREE PRALINE SAMPLE just down half a block! While I still yearn for New Orleans, this place was a lovely substitute! I was in Savannah 2 days during which I went to VINNIE'S 3 times. It's that GOOD! IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!

Treylor Park is a vintage-chic restaurant with a charming outdoor seating area that offers creative Southern comfort eats, cocktails, and beer. The menu features unique options like peanut butter and jelly wings and fried bologna alongside more traditional fare, making it a great spot for adventurous eaters as well as those seeking familiar dishes. The super-casual dress code adds to the relaxed atmosphere where diners can enjoy their meal in the fresh air on a cozy patio adorned with string lights.
We really enjoyed our meal here! The food was unique and so yummy! Chris was our server, and he was phenomenal. 10/10. We really loved the Treylor Park Nachos. The pimento deviled eggs were also yummy, and the pancake chicken tacos were delicious. The Ahi tuna sliders were really good, too. Oh, we tried to Treylor Park cocktail they had as well. It was fun and delicious. Definitely give this place a try!

What a cool place! Treylor Park has such a unique and off-the-wall menu — definitely not your typical spot. The name alone grabs your attention, and the vibe inside lives up to it. The staff was incredibly courteous, and the food? Absolutely delicious. I had a great glass of sweet tea that hit the spot. Highly recommend this place to anyone — the food is fantastic!

I came here for the second time and it was just as good as the first. The staff are very nice and friendly, which makes the atmosphere welcoming. The food is delicious, full of flavor and well prepared. I also love that they’re open until 1 am, perfect for late-night cravings. The only downside was that the bathroom wasn’t very clean, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it’s definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

We came to Treylor Park because of the many good reviews on Google. We wanted to try the many different combinations of foods, they were not usual! We loved the atmosphere - indoor or outdoor, the staff was great & the food was good! I had the popular Apple pie with bacon chicken sandwich with waffle fries. It was good but a bit dry. My husband had the Sloppy Joe with banana peppers. It was delicious! It's not too hot, either! Our grandson had the Smash burger, and he loved it. The best part of the meal was the pb & j chicken wings! We all thought they were great! 😋 Our neighbors had the hot dog and nachos, and they raved about how good they were. Our fountain drinks were good. Our server was outstanding! The place is small, but it must be a local favorite because on a Monday evening, it was packed! You will have to wait a few minutes. Nice cozy place for a bite to eat or share a snack and have a cocktail or beer.

Amazing and unique dishes. I got the PB & J wings-it’s like Thai peanut chicken with peach jam. The drinks are also very creative and so tasty! Definitely, I’ll be back!!

✨ First Visit: One, Two, Three, Four pictures are from our first visit. The food, drinks, and service were exceptional. The cherry cola drink and the Miyagi beef tacos were probably my favorite. They’re open until 2 AM, which is great since many restaurants nearby close by 12. Prices are reasonable for the good taste and quality you get. ⸻ ✨Second Visit: Pictures 5, 6 and 7 are from our second visit. They changed the tacos, and they tasted just okay this time. The drinks were also just okay, and the service was subpar compared to our first visit. Probably going to give this restaurant another chance, hoping they get back to the level we enjoyed the first time.

The Grey is a renowned restaurant located in the former segregated Greyhound bus depot, now transformed into an Art Deco dining space. It gained national recognition after being featured on Chef's Table and receiving a prestigious James Beard Award for its chef. The menu offers a mix of seafood and seasonal dishes, such as smoked pork with hominy and purloo Carolina Gold rice with salted fish.
We sat at the bar and had an incredible meal at The Grey. The patty melt was delicious, the Sizzlin’ Smoky Pig was absolutely amazing, the chicken schnitzel was perfectly crisp, and the oysters were fresh and flavorful. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and top-notch food all around. Highly recommend!

We came here for an upscale anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was perfect and they were very thoughtful and wrote a happy anniversary note. The staff were helpful and answered many of our questions. They also had many vegetarian options to pick from. It’s a coursed $85 meal and I felt given the amount of food we got, it was very reasonable. The Savannah Red Rice was so good. It was definitely a great take on local food and was very flavorful and filling. I loved all the different vegetables in it - they were perfectly cooked and enhanced the sauce base. For the main, they had an okra and beans dish with bread. It also came with some salad and the salad was really fresh and had a very crispy dressing. The whole entree with its different parts went together so well. The beans were not too soft or hard but the perfect in-between. Insta: @TheShahLALand

After dining at a good number of Savannah's higher end restaurants I can enthusiastically say that The Grey was the best. And probably one of only two or three places that are worth the price. Our party of four were all impressed by the quality of The Grey's service and food. Big props to "Sooz" (Suzette) our most attentive and engaged server for her positive energy and apologizing for a delay in the serving of our main courses, before we knew there was an issue. (Comping us additional wine for the problem was high class and appreciated.) The dining room manager was also very attentive and engaged in making sure we had a first rate experience. We all ordered off the Prix Fixe menu, which I see has changed somewhat since we visited. Every dish was wonderful! We will definitely be back to The Grey.

Set in a building with a lot of history, and aligned with the changes in Savannah over time (e.g., former Jim Crow era bus station, former bakery). The food was the best culinary experience we’ve had during our stay in Savannah. It was one of the few places that lived up to the hype. The menu for brunch is small, so they’re not trying to do too much, just a few things really well. We had the duck pastrami, the omelette, the fried chicken with hoecakes, and the Bloody Mary. All great. They had live music playing, and the kitchen staff clearly too pride in their work.
Charleston E — Google review
After watching Chef's Table, we had to see if The Grey lived up to the hype. To say that it surpassed our expectations would be an understatement. The French Laundry has nothing on Chef Mashama Bailey. Chef and her partner kept the original Greyhound bus stop bones, but elevated the atmosphere. The food is incredibly fresh and passion infused. Every bite was heavenly and Chef's chillies bear palate cleanser gave us all the feels. If you're headed to Savannah, make that reservation early and be sure to ask for Ben as your server. His dedication to The Grey and outstanding service was the cherry on top of a perfect evening.
Kim P — Google review
There’s no question that The Grey has built a reputation in Savannah for its striking setting, a restored 1938 Greyhound bus terminal turned into a stylish dining space that blends Art Deco charm with Southern elegance. Unfortunately, on my recent visit, the beauty of the space far outshined the overall dining experience. I arrived early and took a seat at the bar, where the experience started off on the right note. The bartenders were friendly, the cocktails were well-balanced, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting. My wife and I enjoyed our drinks and looked forward to what we hoped would be an exceptional meal. Once we were called to our table, however, the evening took a noticeable turn. We were seated at a cramped table wedged between others, close enough to hear every word of the neighboring conversations. It wasn’t a busy night, so the tight seating felt unnecessary. When we asked to be moved, the maître d’ (or possibly the manager) told us it would be a 45-minute wait, even though several open tables were visible. After a short back-and-forth, he “found” a table, one that, interestingly, remained empty around us for the entire hour and a half we were there. Then came the surprise: The Grey offers only a prix fixe menu. While that can work beautifully when executed with creativity and depth, the limited choices here fell flat. For the first course, I ordered the B&B Pickled Egg, which lacked any memorable flavor or texture. My wife’s Summer Crudité was equally uninspired. The second course offered a slight improvement, my wife’s Baba Ghanoush was flavorful and well-balanced but my Beef Carpaccio missed the mark. The edges were brown and looked partially cooked, with none of the delicate freshness that defines a great carpaccio. For the main course, we both opted for the Dayboat Catch, which happened to be grouper. It looked promising but delivered little in the way of taste. My wife took one bite and set her fork down, describing it as “completely flavorless.” I finished mine, but mostly out of obligation rather than enjoyment. The one true highlight of the evening was our server. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely empathetic. Without us asking, she comped my wife’s dessert and later removed her entrée from the bill, gestures that showed professionalism and care. Her service was the saving grace of the meal. In the end, The Grey is worth visiting for its history and design, the space itself is stunning, a perfect tribute to Savannah’s past. But as for the food, it failed to live up to the restaurant’s reputation. What began as a promising evening with well-made cocktails turned into a forgettable dinner that leaned too heavily on ambiance and not enough on flavor. Final verdict: Go for the architecture and the bar experience, but temper your expectations when it comes to the food.

An unforgettable dining experience at The Grey in Savannah. We did the 3-course prix fixe and every bite was outstanding—from the crisp, fresh crudité to the mouthwatering oyster trio and flavorful succotash. The lamb melted in our mouths, and the chicken Country Captain was rich and juicy. Cocktails like the Captain Sauce and Fisherman Ave were beautifully crafted. For dessert, the fig thrills took us on a nostalgic journey through the joy of growing up in Savannah—her elevated take on the classic frozen pop was both refreshing and refined. We even got to meet Executive Chef Mashama Bailey—warm, down-to-earth, and deeply passionate. Incredible food, service, and experience. 10/10 highly recommend!

The American Prohibition Museum in Savannah, GA is a captivating attraction that delves into the era of alcohol prohibition in the United States from 1920 to 1933. Situated near River Street, this unique museum offers an immersive experience through interactive exhibits and a collection of artifacts and memorabilia. Visitors can explore the impact of prohibition on American society while encountering live actors, lifelike wax figures, and vintage cars throughout the museum.
I thought I knew about Prohibition, and this museum proved there was more to the story. It is very well done, in a time period that I find haunting that as a country, we could approve a dramatic change to our constitution. It took 14 years to get back our freedom. It also was the basis to start income taxes to replace all the revenue government made off alcohol. There is so much to learn here. At the end, push the button in the door to enter the Speak Easy, where you will find some great drink selections. We all could learn a lesson here not to repeat in our country. When extreme views take charge, it takes a long time to correct!

Fun place, to me the history of moonshine is not totally accurate. They are leaving out some important facts and contributors to the history of moonshine and the affect it had on many people. I found it very interesting that the only information regarding, history, affect, class, government, distrubution, who ,where...etc how of the proabition era only highlights the caucasian view point. But when you get to the speakeasy in the second room off the bar on two corner walls they displayed a few african american musican that lived in the proabition era but their was know history of how, what or where on contribution, affect, livelyhood, nor government laws regarding proabition and the african american people /community nor other people of color that played a part in proabition era. But all the staff was very helpful and nice people they even dressed in that era and was very willing to give their scripted information about proabition and the affect it had on perticually one race of people from high class to poverty class. The speakeasy was at the end and once you get to that door it will make you laugh, because it was fun to know what people did to get into these unlawful establishments. Great photo ops in this place. I still think everyone needs to make this a stop when visiting savannh ga. Its easy to stroll through even if you have a walking disability their is a elevator so you will be able yo see the entire tour and bathroom is clean. The drinks are good. Service at bar was slow, they had one lady behind bar,but its was okay because the drink was worth the waite and the atmosphere nice. I truly enjoyed.I was their about 2hrs. Note if you want to have a actual alcohol drink you must go any day but Sunday, No alcohol servered in museum on sunday. Trust its made good "Mary Pickford"

I purchased my ticket to the museum as part of the city of Savannah’s HOHO trolley (at a reduced cost). The museum is right in the middle of downtown and is conveniently located at one of the trolley stops. There are many cute photo opps throughout the museum and it’s quite fun to go through. Would be a cool break from a hot, summer day walking around the city. You could probably spend 30-45 min in the museum (reading exhibits and viewing memorabilia), followed by 15 min having at drink at the speakeasy before exiting (extra cost for drinks). A cool little escape, just not something I’d go to Savannah specifically to do.

An amazing museum. Really dedicated to the history, lots of attention to detail. Loved the original items and the recreations. I deeply wish they had a better gift shop with things from the museum (replica pins, stickers with slogans, cool replica covert flasks, books on the topic etc) and not just coffee cups, decanters, and basic and not museum-oriented items.
Rebecca G — Google review
Exploring this location was truly fascinating, offering a deep dive into a significant period. The exhibits provided an excellent understanding of the events surrounding the era. It also highlighted the various factors that contributed to its rise and eventual conclusion. Furthermore, the presentation effectively examined both the positive and negative consequences that followed. Overall, it was a very insightful and educational experience.

Jeffrey our waiter was the absolute best. He was attentive, warm, friendly and funny. The food was outstanding too! Our dining companion had the prime rib which he said was excellent, my husband and I both had the sea bass which was also excellent and the she crab soup which was delicious as well. Our friend is from northern CA and said the clam chowder ranked up there with some of the best he's had. Well done all the way around and just the sort of experience you expect from a fine dining restaurant.

My husband and I had the pleasure of going to Chart House Savannah this weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it was truly a special experience. Our server Ava made our night so wonderful with her excellent service, the staff hand signed a congratulatory card, provided us with a personalized menu that had our names on it, and gave us a celebratory dessert as well. The swordfish and shrimp pasta were absolutely delicious and obviously crafted with care. Our bar drinks were phenomenal I had the best espresso martini I have ever had before. To the GM Houstin for being so kind, to our server Ava and her trainee Brian for making us feel so special, to the bartenders Amanda Paige for the amazing drinks, and to the whole kitchen staff for providing amazing food we couldn’t thank Chart House enough. Definitely reserve a table especially when looking for a great way to celebrate.

I am cautious of chain restaurants or toirist traps. The Chart House was neither. The atmosphere and service were superb! Our waiter, Scott, was amazing. He is knowledgeable, pleasant, and timed our service perfectly. The highlight of our meal was the pecan-crusted trout and hot chocolate lava cake. This was a dining experience, and we can't wait to come back.

The greeter and bartender immediately set the atmosphere at this riverside restaurant — they made it clear they’d rather be anywhere else but the Chart House. Within minutes, we felt the same. One round of “happy” hour drinks later, we followed their lead and left in search of happier hours. Didn’t try the food; the staff’s lifeless welcome killed any appetite for more.

It had been a while, but our return to the Chart House was amazing. When I made the reservation online, I ticked the box for “Anniversary” (our 45th) and noted that we had become engaged at a table near the center 2nd floor windows. To say they were ready for us is understatement! The General Manager greeted us enthusiastically at the door. He assured us they had OUR table waiting. As the young hostess guided us there, we passed other servers, each of whom greeted us BY NAME. And, speaking of names, there were ours at the top of the menus, a printed personalized anniversary greeting! From then on we enjoyed outstanding service, wonderful steaks. (My wife declared hers the “best fillet ever.”) For a special occasion, I cannot more highly recommend the Chart House.

The restaurant offers a variety of options including craft beer, calzones, stone-baked pizzas with gluten-free and vegan choices available. The ambiance is laid-back and the menu includes hoagies, salads, wings, stuffed cheese bread along with friendly service.
You can always count on mellow mushrooms to be solid. Ella was great, and the pizza was fantastic. This location was a little bit "less decorative" compared to the dozen+ other locations around the south that we've been to. (But still enjoyable)

Great pizza spot! Amazing selection of pizzas, perfect service by Melony, couldn’t ask for anything better. They have 3 different sizes, so great for kids or teens f you want to try different things. Pizza place with some subs (hoagies) $ salads but no pasta dishes. It has gluten free dough but only in the small size for pizzas & cost $2 more. Prices are reasonable as well as the portion sizes. The medium pizza looked like a large. The chicken club sandwich was generously made especially with avocados. The house pizza was delicious. The pizza crust was thick & puffy that it would fill you up itself. Generous portions of ingredients. The prices are pricey though. Friendly service. The place wasn’t even 1/2 full on a Sunday upon pickup of order. It was relatively roomy. Parking is a problem but that’s typical inside Savannah. Lots of food delivery drivers waiting for their orders so take out is popular The website is busy and menu could be much simpler.

I had a great experience here. Much better than the Pooler location. I got the mushroom pizza, it's probably my new favorite mushroom style pizza there is. It was very juicy, which I know is a weird way to describe a pizza. The music wasn't overly loud when I went. My only complaint was that I would've liked our server to be a bit more attentive. They weren't busy, so most of the staff were hanging out. Which is totally cool, but I was without a drink a lot of the time. Came here for a one on one work meeting and it was definitely a chill place to do so.

The menu features coastal Italian dishes with a Southern influence, such as pesto kale pasta and soul-warming soups.
Killer dinner at Pacci tonight. The red snapper is excellent with well balanced, clean flavors. Others in our party really enjoyed the bolognese and the meatballs, as well as the salads. The service was friendly and attentive. We did not make reservations, and while I would recommend making a reservation, our wait time was only a few minutes. I highly recommend this gem and will be back!

I had the lentil pasta and it was truly one of the worst meals I've ever had. Pasta was completely undercooked and hard, and the "lentil Bolognese" was like someone just opened a can of lentils and jar of sauce and mixed them together. There was no seasoning other than some herbs thrown on top. The service was also so slow that I took this to-go. I ate it within 5min of walking out so it was still "fresh". Cannot believe they charge $24 for this.

The space is absolutely beautifully designed. Crisp clean lines and and amazing room scent pipes in. Karim was our waiter. He was absolutely outstanding His service was unobtrusive but attentive. He was knowledgeable about the details of the menu. The chicken parm was a fantastic moist crusted large piece of poultry. The peach burrata arugula salad could have featured grilled Georgia peaches rather than canned peaches. But the salad was wonderfully refreshing

This is a hidden gem. We came into town and decided to eat at this restaurant in the hotel we were staying at. It is as good as any standalone place. The waiter (Marc) was very nice and did a great job. We ordered mussels as an appetizer which were delicious. We had clams and shrimp scampi and also seafood manicotti. Both were delicious. Because it is in a hotel I think people pass by, but it is worth it and you get your food quickly.

Starting out with ordering drinks my friend ordered a Negroni and the waiter asked if it was on the drink menu. It wasn’t so she just ordered a bottle of wine. We thought maybe they didn’t have Aperol or Campari. They did. So they were fully able to make it. I ordered a cosmo and he said the same thing to me. I had to explain the drink to him in order for him to write it down. There was a little bit of a language barrier with the waiter and I don’t blame him at all for any of these things. But I feel like further training might be required for staff. We ordered the burrata and focaccia and a Caesar salad they were all delicious. We go to order entrees and they’re out of the carbonara and the seafood manicotti and we were really looking forward to those dishes and it should have been communicated at the start what they were out of. Also to be out of three dishes on a Friday night at 7pm is a bit weird to me. My friend who wanted the carbonara ended up getting the short rib Marsala which is pictured below and it was not good at all. They were just small chopped up pieces of short rib and not a lot of it. I’ve honestly had better hamburger helper. I got the Chicken Parmesan and I think that was the best thing we ordered it was super delicious the breading was amazing. The bolognese was in my opinion missing a lot of flavor. The risotto was mushy and flavorless. We added copious amounts of salt and it was still just eh. The Brussels sprouts were fine. Could’ve used more seasoning. Seasonal ravioli was fine. It was a butternut squash I believe. Overall not worth the $400 spent. I can’t believe we spent that much on what we got. I’ve been in the restaurant industry over 10 years and I’m just greatly disappointed with our experience. We looked at reviews before booking our reservation and cannot believe that this was a 4 star place.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST!!! my husband and I have been coming to Savannah once a year for many years. Somehow we had been missing this little amazing place. It’s nothing fancy, but cute and cozy. The owners are super friendly and they give you the most personalized amazing service. Let me tell you that they have the most delicious and balanced martinis. Honestly I was so impressed! You can’t ask for more, amazing service, impressive delicious martinis and unlimited flavors. Make it a must on your next visit!

OMG the martini’s were spectacular! We had the Vanilla Coke, Hostess Cupcake, Espresso, Rice Krispie & Reese’s martini’s. Place is small and cozy and Jen herself is amazing and wonderful. Definitely have to stop if you find yourself in Savannah, cheers!

Jen's & Friends is literally my favorite bar ever. I've been to Savannah 3 times and Jen's is always on my must visit list. Jen is so nice and she makes the best martinis! I have tried so many different flavors and have yet to have one that isn't amazing. I brought my husband here for the first time and he loved all of the martinis that he tried too! This bar makes me wish I was local to Savannah so I could come here every week! 10/10 would recommend!

Unbelievably amazing!!! A must stop at place when you’re in Savannah. Overwhelming menu (in a good way 😋) so pick what you’re craving in advance so you can make a decision … or, just get more than one🥤🍹 Wishing we had a Jen’s and Friends or something close to it up in the North East. 😢

Definitely stop in for one (or three). So many good martinis here! Good vibes.. and great service by Jen shaking it up behind the bar! Bonus; Zane Lamprey filmed a segment here for his show “drinking made easy”. Look for Pleepleus!

This has to be on a Savannah bucket list if you like dessert style margaritas. Innovative drink mixes. I also had a savoury style cocktail. Tiny bar, could be easy to miss, but it's worth a try.

Ding dong and Cookie Crisp martinis were delicious. That’s Jen there in the cheetah shirt! This place came recommended by everyone I asked about places to check out in Savannah. I was so surprised that the owner was behind the bar. Annie made our drinks, she was amazing! Go here for a fun drink.

The Warehouse Bar and Grille, affectionately known as The Warehouse, is a laid-back spot in Savannah where you can unwind by the water with a cold beer and enjoy live music every night. It's a favorite among locals for its casual atmosphere, affordable drinks, and regular live entertainment. The menu features classic pub-style food such as wings, burgers, sandwiches, and fried seafood.
Probably the most fun bar right on River Street in Savannah! This place was a ball as soon as we stepped in! There was live music both nights we went that kept things lively. They advertise having the cheapest beer in town, and they’re right. A bucket of six light beers is only 20 bucks which comes to like $3.33 each. It’s definitely a low brow, dive bar type, but that’s really not a negative. Don’t pass this place up. It is a little cramped and busy so it can be tough to find a place to sit, but there’s no cover charge and easy to get a drink whenever you want one. You won’t have a bad time there!

Great place. Extremely crowded and loud. Live music. Tons of drinks on tap. Tons of alcohol options. Great food for a bar. Chicken club is amazing!

Our first time in Savannah and we found this fun place with great drinks and awesone food! The bartenders, Ony (The Tony without the T) , Jamie and Leah are a blast! I have a severe shrimp allergy and they made sure all the safety precautions were made for me so I can enjoy this amazing food too! Oh and trust their judgement on the "mystery shots" - they're all different and so good!! Highly recommend and we will be back!!!
Cindy M — Google review
This place was great from start to finish. We had originally arrived at Wet Willie's and were treated to the worst service known to man. (1hour30min wait for food) so we left and found the Warehouse was open and thriving with live music. Immediately were seated order food and drinks and they came out almost immediately. The atmosphere was great the live music was great and the staff were great! Will definitely make this our go to spot!

We stopped here for lunch after our trolley tour. Looks like a little hole in the wall bar and you would be right. It's not pretentious, just good drinks, good food, and good service. Don't come here if you are prissy, it's not for you. Our server told us about live music that night, we were just too tuckered out to make the trip back. I would have liked to spend more time there.

The Warehouse in Savannah is a total hole in the wall, and I mean that in the most affectionate way possible. It’s small, it’s scrappy, and it’s everything. The Warehouse Lemonade and River Street Peach should come with a warning label. They’re sweet, strong, and sneak up on you like a Southern aunt with gossip. Beer’s cold, food’s cheap and good, and I left full, happy, and slightly wobbly. Live music was on point, and the servers were absolute angels even when the place got packed. Now listen…space is tight, tables are few, and they go fast. If you don’t show up before the 8pm stampede, you’ll be standing shoulder-to-shoulder praying someone leaves their seat. This place is chaotic good and I’m obsessed.

Super fun atmosphere, great staff, lots of draft beers to choose from and lots of great people watching. Their signature dry rub on the wings is to DIE for. We had a great laugh with the bartenders over "Y'all got Busch light???" We stopped in here a few times during our three-day stay. If dive bars are your thing then you must go here.

Repeal 33 Bar & Restaurant is a trendy spot in Savannah known for its exceptional cocktails and upscale American cuisine served in a cozy speakeasy-style setting. The restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional Southern dishes, with standout items like the Crispy Smashed Fingerling Potatoes and seared jumbo scallops with pecans and sweet potato risotto. Owned by award-winning Beverage Director Jim McCourt, Repeal 33 prides itself on its top-notch cocktails.
Ventured in for a Sunday brunch and arrived when it first opened. Hardly anyone was there at first, so it was nice and quiet. Started out with the Street Corn appetizer which was mouthwatering delicious. I had the Chicken and Waffles and my wife had the steak and eggs. Both of these dishes were seasoned, cooked well and were outstanding. We split a small portion of their Challah French Toast which was very savory. Service was good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place for a date night, and special occasion.

Traveled to Savannah for my son's birthday and chose Repeal 33 for his birthday dinner. Our server was Kassidy and she was not as attentive as we would have liked. We had to ask other servers/runners questions because she wasn't around. Also, I stated in the reservation we were celebrating a birthday and no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. On to the food......we ordered the lobster tortellini ($26), grilled octopus ($19) and the sourdough bread ($8). Unsure why bread had to be ordered and wasn't provided. However, our starters were absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and seasoned well. Next, we ordered the NY Strip ($39) and the halibut ($39). Again both were delicious. The corn sauce with my halibut was cold, but still very tasty. The first drink I ordered, should we kiss, was disappointing. My son ordered the smoke on the harbor and loved it. He contemplated getting a 2nd one but chose a drink with sazerac on the dessert menu. He enjoyed both drinks. I elected for a lemon drop and had 2. Although the 2nd one didn't have a full sugared rim or lemon garnish. We ordered the Nutella torte and banana pudding to go but did not enjoy either. Disappointing finish to an otherwise enjoyable meal. Our bill for 2 people was $249. We would go back for the starters and entrées but forgo dessert. May have been cheaper to choose the tasting menu. (If they allow for a substitution for the steak since I don't eat red meat)

Beautiful dining room, ambiance was excellent. Service really was top notch. The dining room was not very busy but did seem loud. We had the oysters which were very fresh, preferred the Carolina over the Canadian as they were more flavorful and bigger. Wings were very tender and juicy. Heirloom salad was really over the top good and light. Grilled octopus was very tender and the sauce was delicious. Not a single issue with the service and food. Don’t forget the hot sourdough bread!

This restaurant is so exciting and fun to be at. The atmosphere was so great and just a brilliant place to spend some time. I don’t drink, but I wanted to just sit at the bar and admire the whole atmosphere. We started with Sourdough Bread and their butter was a piece of magic, not sure where they get it, but that was seriously great butter. The Brussels sprouts were average great starter and a favorite for us where ever we go. We had steak with creamed spinach and a horseradish sauce. The steak was decent and the creamed spinach was fantastic. The Horseradish sauce I could not really taste the horseradish so was not a feature for me on the plate. The Service was great, our waiter was attentive and wanted to make sure that we had a great evening. As it was our anniversary they provided us a dessert that was great. I loved this place and would highly recommend it as a great place to have a meal. Would add it to your list of places to eat when you are in Savannah.

My sister and I dined at Repel 33 last night, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of amazing. Our expectations were high, and they were absolutely met. Let’s start with the service—top tier. Our server Rhett was phenomenal—attentive, intuitive, and full of great energy. He really listened to us and tailored the experience to match our vibe. The general manager, Mat, made a point to check in and ensure our evening was going smoothly. And shoutout to Jack, who delivered and cleared our plates with such ease and friendliness. There was another gentleman assisting as well—didn’t catch his name, but he was also wonderful. Now the food… whew. We went with the Chef’s Tasting Menu and added on an appetizer of bone marrow, which Rhett made sure was seamlessly incorporated into the tasting. We had already started with cocktails (which were amazing), so we opted for just one drink pairing package to share—and that was plenty. Here’s a breakdown of our tasting menu: Course 1: A delicate potato croquette on crème fraîche, topped with caviar and an edible flower—simple, elegant, and delicious. Course 2: Charred octopus on an eggplant purée with chili oil, radish, arugula, pine nuts, and golden raisins. Unexpected and absolutely bursting with flavor. Course 3: Lobster tortellini in a red curry butter sauce with pomegranate seeds, fried shallots, and roasted carrot. This was one of my top favorites—creamy, bold, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Course 4: Perfectly cooked halibut over a corn cream sauce with fresh peas, corn kernels, and clams—so bright and fresh. Course 5: Tender steak with creamed spinach, a red wine horseradish sauce, and the fluffiest duchess potatoes. Comforting, rich, and just perfect. Dessert: My sister had the banana pudding (we joked someone’s grandma must be in the back making it—it’s that good), and I had the key lime pie panna cotta, which was a light, tangy finish. Every bite was thoughtful and flavorful. Yes, the tasting menu is a splurge—but it’s 100% worth it. Thank you to the incredible team at Repel 33 and major compliments to the chef. We’ll be back!

My girlfriend and I ate here during our trip to Savannah last weekend. Food and service was phenomenal! I loved the Oysters and the Steak was cooked perfectly. We also had some bread and my gf got a burger wish was also pretty good. I think what really closed the deal on this place is the kind of service we got from Phillip, our waiter. Very kind and very attentive. I also appreciated the ambience of the place. The bar area was very beautiful and the place was quiet and intimate for a good date night. I will definitely be back whenever we visit Savannah again!

Repeal provided a spectacular dining experience. The ambiance and atmosphere were a perfect twist of old world yet modern. All of the staff were kind, attentive, and courteous. Our server Antoinette was especially terrific. She was knowledgeable about the food options, flavor profiles, and portions which helped us make some very tough choices on a menu where everything sounded wonderful. We had a few drinks that were well made and delivered for high end cocktails. The Remington was a sweet cherry whiskey drink, drawing inspiration from a martini. Smoke on the Harbor was a smoked whiskey cocktail that balanced many subtle layers of flavor. The presentation was worth the price alone. Best for last, the food. We have eaten at many high end restaurants throughout our travels and this competes with the best of them. We started with the Alsatian Flatbread which was a large portion for two people. It hit a perfect balance of sweet and savory. For our entrees we had the Butter Poached Halibut and the Smash Burger, plus a side of cheddar grits. The Halibut was light and flaky, melted in your mouth. The sauce was incredible. We were hesitant to order a burger at a nicer restaurant but once we bit into it we were happy with all of our life choices. The truffle cheese and shallot jam are the perfect balance of flavors to complement perfectly crispy smash patties. This burger will set the standard that other burgers are measured against for a while. Overall this was a stellar experience and the only knock against the place is that it's a thousand miles away from our home and we want to dine here weekly. If you've made it this far, you probably already know you should make this your dining destination. We'll absolutely return the next time we are in Savannah. Bravo, Repeal.

The Wyld is a laid-back waterside hangout in Savannah, offering New American fare with a focus on seafood. Located on Livingston Ave, it provides a unique and spectacular view of the waterfront. The restaurant features an outside bar overlooking the creek, along with lights, fire pits, and the scent of the tidal flat. Boating straight up to this spot adds to its unique Lowcountry experience.
Really loved and enjoyed our food and atmosphere at The Wyld! We had the crab rolls which were flavorful and seasoned to perfection and our family had fish tacos that they loved. We also loved the watermelon treat with mint and spices. It was a very unique and awesome flavor! My only critique is I hope the restaurant with its order at the door service is more mindful about how they display signage to patrons walking in. I saw a lot of confusion from people coming in from the dock to eat. Two men sat a long time unattended to, confused about the order first policy and we had some confusion upon walking in. Maybe if there was a small sign that greets you with procedure would help some folks not accustomed to this style. Overall, the experience was wonderful and I couldn't recommend this beautiful location and place more!

11 min south of Bonaventure Cemetery is this delicious gem of a dog-friendly lunch and dinner spot on the water and marsh. On the roofed deck with fans, we enjoyed the cool breeze. The food (menu photos posted, plenty of seafood and vegetarian too) was wonderful, service fast and friendly, and it was the perfect spot to refresh and enjoy the relaxed coastal ambiance with some fantastic food and cold drinks.

Are you looking for a place that gives you a costal vibe? Then this is the place to check out but if you’re here for the food and customer service, not so great. The food looks nice like but didn’t taste very good or fresh. This is not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter and then sit anywhere you would like. Someone will bring you your order. I assume when you bring food to the table, you mention what each item is but that didn’t happen and nor were we asked if we needed anything else. No one ever came by again. We had to get up to go ask for stuff like a straw. But hey, a place will never shy away from adding that gratuity line on your receipt!

Such a beautiful place to spend some time and get some amazing food! The location is gorgeous, so much care and effort put into their garden beds and atmosphere. The smell of the river and view are spectacular. I like the ability to walk up and order your food, and close up at the location next to the bar. I will say the service is less than desirable

Nestled on the serene marshlands of south Savannah, The Wyld Dock Bar is an absolute gem that captures the essence of Lowcountry paradise with effortless charm and unparalleled vibrancy. From the moment you step onto the dockside deck, surrounded by twinkling bistro lights and sweeping views of the creek, you're enveloped in a relaxed, pet-friendly vibe that's equal parts sophisticated and soulful—perfect for locals and travelers alike. The menu is a triumph of seasonal coastal cuisine, boasting fresh, locally sourced seafood like succulent blue crab chowder laced with sherry and bacon, innovative tacos bursting with Gulf shrimp and zesty slaw, and that legendary smash burger crafted from premium Georgia Wagyu-Angus beef, which melts in your mouth with every bite. Paired with top-notch craft cocktails that sip like summer dreams and a staff whose warm, intuitive service feels like catching up with old friends, every visit leaves you utterly enchanted, already plotting your return to this dockside idyll where the food, the views, and the spirit soar beyond five stars.

Casual but not tacky. Great drinks (we had a mai tai and the slushie). They raise their own herbs and clearly pay attention to the quality of the food. (We had the shrimp, shrimp tacos and roasted oysrers.)

The Wyld is one of those hidden gems that instantly makes you feel like you’re on vacation. I love the setup—ordering at the window and then having your food brought to the table adds to the laid-back, casual vibe. CO is a trendy spot offering modern takes on traditional Southeast Asian dishes like pho, banh mi, and dumplings. The restaurant has recently introduced a separate full vegan menu featuring classic Vietnamese cuisine with a contemporary twist. Diners can savor an array of options from Bahn Mis to Com Chien, a flavorful fried rice dish packed with tofu and edamame. While the ambiance is unremarkable with mostly high tables and bar seats, the service is swift and friendly.
The service was kinda slow, but that's the only bad thing I have to say. The food was ridiculously delicious! The sushi was really good the dumplings were just right. The Poke bowl was crazy spicy, doused in sriracha sauce but it was good. I highly recommend this place, but make sure you make a reservation because they fill up fast.

Good options for vegan/ vegetarian. Really enjoyed the mango summer rolls. 4 stars because my S.O really liked his spicy Udon. However, I may have expected too much from the Korean Rice Bowl. Though the presentation was beautiful, even with all the ingredients the flavors were underwhelming and rice was a bit undercooked. Tacos were okay, good meaty bites but maybe get without the aioli...idk. I did like the ambiance and drinks were good.

Garlic sesame tuna taco these tuna tacos were bussin bussin lll they added to much of their hosin sauce but over all it was good Pork belly Bun The bun was done nicely held together well, soft just how Iike it. The pork belly wasn't tender like I expected but over all it was pretty good. Vietnamese ramen The broth for this ramen was so flavorful yet Shuddle at the same time this was by far the best part of my meal. The ramen were alienate more then I would have liked the mea she was shredded beef and Pork was pretty good. The onions made this dish really pop. Surf and turf sushi roll my kids ordered this I only tasted a piece of meat and I couldn't eat one roll because it was extremely spicy for me. My daughter try to power through it but she had to stop just too spicy for us. My son ate most of it. Caramelized pork Bahn mi the pork in this Bahn mi was super tasty. The bread was nicely toasted veggies were thin and well made. Salmon poke bowl my daughter absolutely loved her poke bowl. Cambodian bowl Jalapeños guava margarita this had nice flavor but again I only took a sip because the Jalapeños In this drink were prominent that I couldn't. I really enjoyed this place and would definitely he back to try other dishes

Small little restaurant with a bar as you enter. Staff is friendly but our waiter was not very knowledgeable about the menu and had difficulty taking our order. SPICY udon noodles lacked SPICE, rather it tasted sweet. They made a special avocado /mango sushi roll for us which was off the menu. They have a SEPARATE vegan menu which was nice.

We came here on a public holiday as most other places have closed, but it turned out to be quite a nice meal. Nothing special about the ambiance of the restaurant, mostly high tables and bar seats. Speed of service is very fast and the waitress is very friendly. We ordered a salmon Carpaccio, a curry dish and an Asian fusion bowl. The Carpaccio is ok. Not the freshest sushi salmon I have had. The curry was surprisingly good. Very tasty. I got it with chicken and I wouldn't recommend doing so. Change it to maybe a shrimp or something else would be much better. But I still enjoyed the curry and even used it to finish some leftover rice from the other dish. Highly recommend.

Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market, nestled within the Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, offers a stylish dining experience with a focus on using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. One of their standout dishes is the raclette burger, where a juicy patty is generously topped with melted raclette cheese tableside.
Visited Jan and Feb 2025. Went into this restaurant twice with reservations! We got Callie as our server both times, and the service was exceptional. Drinks were well made, and one off menu drink request (but was a dark and stormy) was made with no issues. Food options are great, and delicious. Just enough to not be too small, or a single plate too big to enjoy the other options. Quality ingredients, and a good balance of salt/sugar/spices. Will definitely suggest a reservation. We will be coming back to go again.

We have had two wonderful meals while staying here at the Perry Lane hotel. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with attentive and friendly service. The escargot and fried green tomatoes were our favorite! The next morning we enjoyed a lovely brunch with so many menu selections, depending on your taste. Hopefully, you are lucky enough to be seated at Eric’s (“Shorty”), table! He is so charming and attentive. He elevated what was already a wonderful experience. Trust me, you’ll be tempted to ask him to sit down and dine with your party. Natasha, the restaurant manager also came by to say hello and ensure we were enjoying our meal.

Went here Saturday evening. It was a bit busy/noisy due to a wedding party waiting for the reception. Sat at the end of the bar and was greeted pretty quickly. Was able to get there for happy hour. Ordered 2 cocktails (old fashioned) which were spectacular and was able to get them quickly despite it being busy. While sitting the glass rinser broke and spilled over the counter more to the area I was sitting. The staff and other customers were helpful in cleaning up the mess & was just able to laugh about it afterwards. It was repaired while there and all was well & very apologetic which again is no fault of their own. Food. Ordered a cheese board during happy hour which was huge! You get 3 different cheeses, large amount of grapes, jam, mustard, walnuts, crackers, and cornichons. They were really good. (Pic was after half was eaten) lol. This is a great option for sharing with others or just snacking on over time. Went during burger bash which they have a fantastic special. As a burger lover it's hard tk find a good tasting burger. The burger (El jefe) was immaculate! It was juicy cooked to the perfect temp, the taste of the aioli, mushrooms & arugula went sooo well together. The surprise was a delicious crispy cheese disk which added another depth and texture. Only negative the bun was a bit hard. The fries were crispy and salted perfectly. Overall experience even with the mishap was 10/10! Jeff & Bryan were great and super attentive and funny. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We had such a wonderful experience at Kitchen Emporium in Savannah, Georgia! Eric provided exceptional service from start to finish. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable — even helping keep our two-year-old entertained, which made a huge difference. Eric also gave us great food recommendations, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our favorite was the Peach Waffles. The rest of the staff was equally attentive — our coffee and water were always filled, and plates were promptly cleared as we finished our meal. It really showed how well the whole team works together to make guests feel welcome. It’s rare to find both amazing food and such thoughtful, attentive service. We’ll definitely be back!

We cane from Jax to celebrate my 30th birthday and this place never disappoints! This was our second time in and our second time having Eric as our waiter. He was absolutely incredible (again) and went out of his way to make the day feel special. It was so nice catching up with him while treating ourselves to the amazing food. We will for sure be back!

Came to eat here for brunch with the family. Food and service was amazing. The kids said “we didn’t like the food, we LOVED it”. Eric and the staff were incredible

Bar
Abe's On Lincoln is a rustic-chic tavern in Savannah, GA that pays homage to Abraham Lincoln. The bar offers a casual and laid-back atmosphere where visitors can enjoy craft beers and cocktails. Open from 4 PM to 3 AM daily (except Sundays), the tavern hosts open mic nights and DJ sessions throughout the week. What sets Abe's apart is its unique decor featuring hundreds of cocktail napkins with hand-drawn pictures of Honest Abe adorning the walls.
Abe’s on Lincoln is such a cool, laid-back spot! The vibe is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere has just the right amount of character. I just drank some vodka and sodas. It’s definitely a great place to unwind and enjoy good drinks in a chill environment. Highly recommend checking it out!
Morgan A — Google review
A hole in the wall that was a great little stop for us on our bar crawl while in Savannah. Just thousands of hand drawn pics of Abe Lincoln or a rendering based on each artist's perception of how Abe should be drawn, hang from the rafters and ceiling above. Full bar or beer available. Music by Daily Bread pours out of the speakers to add to an eclectic evening of Abe pics and libations.
Deanna M — Google review
Abe’s was one of our stops during our haunted cocktail walk. The amount of drawings of Abraham Lincoln is astounding! They are literally everywhere you look! Drinks were tasty and the vibe was fun. It’s a smaller sized bar so we were kinda packed in there while we were there. We had a great time and would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area. Bartender was great.
Lisa B — Google review
What a great local spot! We were blown away by the amount of Abraham Lincoln doodles everywhere! Bartender was awesome and made me a sweet drink we took to go on our pub crawl and wish we went back for more.

Hands down my favorite spot to get a few drinks in Savannah! The staff is great and the drinks are not only on point, but they are reasonably priced. We make it a point to always come back! While you're there, ask for a paper and pen, they'll let you pick a spot to add your Abraham Lincoln drawing. Love this place! No food here, ear before arriving!
Elsa O — Google review
This place is such a vibe! The Bartenders were awesome! Drinks were great and fairly priced. I did ask what the weirdest shot they had was and was shown a bottle of Malort. I knew the pain that was coming(lived in Chicago for a bit) but people in my party didn’t so I had fun buying them said shot (I took one too)and watching their reactions 😂😂😂! Honestly we spent more time here than any other spot because we loved it here. I even added to the collection of Abe drawings ❤️ Thank y'all for such a wonderful time .
Melody O — Google review
I couldn’t not say enough kind words about this bar and their staff/owners/management. This is a safe space for all sorts of people, and the owners make you feel right at home as well as all of the staff. The drinks are reasonably priced and taste phenomenal. This is now a must visit on all of our future Savannah trips.
Julianna R — Google review
Our group was out for Savannah PRIDE on Saturday evening, when we were followed and one of the young women in our group was sexually assaulted just up the block from this bar. There were 6 of us chasing the man, screaming and yelling and causing a ruckus. When the cops came and we finally stopped, Bobby and his cousin Dean’s wife (sorry I missed her name) were among only 3 people total who came out to check on us and offer help. After the police took the scum bag away, we went over to Abe’s on Lincoln where we were treated top notch, had some excellent, and very needed drinks, and were able to regain our composure in a safe and friendly environment. We couldn’t have been more grateful!! The bar was great and we would definitely recommend!

Rhett, located in The Alida Hotel, is a popular eatery offering a mix of brunch bites and classic Southern comfort food. Open seven days a week, the restaurant serves up Lowcountry cuisine featuring estuary foods such as oysters, shrimp, and fish. With roots in African comfort food, the menu showcases dishes like cheddar drop biscuits, raw ceviche and oysters, shrimp dip, grits and fried okra.
This was my first time having Rhett and I must say everything about my visit from the food, service, and environment was amazing. I had their shrimp and grits and it was delicious! The grits were creamy and at the right consistency top with shrimp, sausages, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Definitely try it if you’re looking for a good shrimp and grits!

I was visiting for just one night and choose to walk here. Very beautiful but the place was empty at 8 on a Sunday. Could be blamed on my bad hearing but when I was offered distilled water, I wasn't anticipating 9.00 for that. My very saucy pasta came and I ask for a little bread, 4.00 was added to my bill for a slice of bread with butter... The lobster pasta had 5 or 6 bits of lobster claw/ peices.. the sauce was nice and the pasta cooked perfectly. The waitress had a very strong accent that was hard for me to understand. When I questioned the 4.00 slice of bread, they did take it off my bill. I too my souvenir 9.00 glass bottle of water with me.
Betsy G — Google review
Amazing experience. Been here before years ago and so happy they are still here…. Atmosphere is amazing and service is first class… India is so sweet. I had the crab Benedict..
Martin Z — Google review
We just visited the Rhett for the first time this past weekend, and WOW, they did not disappoint. We went for brunch around Noon and were surprised it wasn't packed, considering it was the July 4th weekend. We were seated at the bar immediately, and the bartender was a pleasure to work with. He made us some fantastic drinks and kept our water glasses filled. The food itself was splendid! I had the chicken and waffles while my wife had the loaded grits bowl. Please do yourself a favor and TRY IT! The restaurant itself is gorgeous and has been decorated classily. They had several parties of more than 6, so they can certainly accommodate your family brunch needs. Next time you're down by River Street, stop by.

The highlight of my trip to Savannah! Tonin was great and gave excellent recommendations. The grouper was perfect. I appreciated the education on where the oysters came from. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and I will be back again!
Mecca J — Google review
The food was great! I probably wouldn’t pay those prices again but it was convenient being in the hotel if you don’t have the energy to go out. The servers were nice and and it wasn’t too noisy
Jean M — Google review
Tonin is super nice and attentive with great recommendations! The shrimp and grits had a good portion of fresh shrimp with creamy grits and the grouper was seared perfectly. The oysters were so fresh and also tasty. The calamari breading was bit salty but still flavorful. I’d return for the shrimp and grits alone. Would definitely want to try more items on the menu!
Alexus — Google review
This restaurant needs to have a higher rating!! After a week of staying at the hotel, I've had a week's worth of breakfasts/brunches here & tried 80% of the menu. Every single dish is delicious & fresh. Some dishes are on the smaller side by American standards, so just double check with your waiter if super hungry (or get the omlette - it's huge). Staff are very attentive, friendly & well trained. They genuinely look like they want to be there, which is so rare these days. The whole operation runs so smoothly. Even on Sunday when every table was filled, they managed to get my order out in under 15minutes. Amazing! (ps their beignets on dinner menu are to die for!)

If you're wandering through Savannah's Historic District and craving some authentic Mexican cuisine, Bull Street Taco is a must-visit. This laid-back taqueria offers a delightful mix of traditional and innovative taco options, all crafted with care from scratch. The inviting atmosphere features sunlit spaces and a charming patio, perfect for enjoying your meal. At Bull Street Taco, you'll find an array of tantalizing choices that go beyond the usual fare.
A gem of a place just outside of downtown. Delicious, adorable + great neighborhood vibes. I had gotten into town later than expected and found this place while looking for dinner. Lovely server named Beth took care of me and all of the staff were so kind. Sat outside and snagged a mojo chicken bowl and a Topo Chico. Will probably end up here again before I leave town!
Brittany L — Google review
Delicious Mojo rice bowl and chicken burrito! Great guacamole. Service was friendly but elusive. Outdoor dining was fun for people watching.
Mark M — Google review
We are fans of Strange Bird but it is temporarily closed and so we thought we would try Bull Street Taco as we are huge fans of Mexican food and even work in a taco truck for a friend back home. Sadly, we were disappointed. The food was nothing to write home about, with the three different tacos having a slight burnt aftertaste and didn't have much flavour otherwise. The chorizo bowl was alright, but I didn't even eat half. Our margaritas weren't very tasty and were watery. We didn't drink them all and I never leave a margarita. Staff were friendly, but we came for the food, and are unlikely to return.
Beans — Google review
The food was more in the flavorless side and the server only came to out table to ask for drinks and to deliver the food. He didn’t care to ask if our food came out just as we ordered it or if we wanted another drink. Don’t waiste your money or time at this place.
Erika H — Google review
Fantastic food all around. Tacos were very flavorful. Salsa was great! A++ would eat again.
Edward L — Google review
The food is good. Really good. I went back forth between 4 and 5 stars on food... And if I could, I would give, 4.85 starts. We did get two instead of three Armadillo Eggs and I know it said 'stuffed jalapeno,' but it would have been a total home run if there had been a little more preparation to the jalapeno. Our jalapenos were thick, raw, full of seeds, and a little unpleasant to eat. But not unpleasant like sent it back, we still ate them. The chips and salsa is really good, I wish it had been free, but it is better than 90% of the free salsa out there. We had the beef barbocoa, hot honey chicken tender, and Baja fish tacos, all of them were great. Our server was outstanding! He was a total rockstar; he was magically there when we wanted something, but also wasn't always there. You know what I mean?! He made us feel welcomed, he was attentive, but we also didn't feel rushed. And yes we're the jerks who can't remember his name, but he rocked a killer mustache.
Morgan D — Google review
Food was very good. Wife had the chorizo bowl and it was almost enough for two. I had a chicken taco and a Baja fish taco (both flour) - both were amazingly tasty. Fairly good size for the location, has bar, inside, patio, and street seating (street was great for people watching - eclectic neighborhood). Wife said her margarita was good, and she's very picky about them. My draft Dos Equis Amber came with a lime wedge and was very refreshing on a warm, muggy day.
Roy S — Google review
I said to my brother* is everyone here gorgeous?! 😆 1st time and I was unsure about what to order but AJ put me all the way in the game with her recommendations. Came in on a Taco 🌮 Tuesday, so that's what I had with chips and salsa. Everything was excellent and will definitely be back in the future. Brother said the Premium margarita was a little weak but we're accustomed to the finer things in life. 😉 Spiced it up a tad and was better. THANK YOU SO MUCH AJ! See you later! 🫶🏽

Nestled along the picturesque River Street in Savannah's Plant Riverside District, Savannah Tequila Company is a vibrant haven for lovers of Mexican cuisine and craft cocktails. With its lively decor and relaxed atmosphere, this charming spot invites you to unwind with a refreshing margarita while soaking in stunning views of the Savannah River. The menu boasts an array of mouthwatering options, including tacos, flautas, and enchiladas, all crafted with fresh ingredients that burst with flavor.
Came here with a small group and was able to get some outdoor seating, the dipping trio was really good. All the sauces with the roasted tomato were so good. My friend ordered the enchiladas which I tried and we also got the El Pastor tacos. It’s right on the river and nice to sit outside

Atmosphere was really nice, cleanly, and cool! We stopped here for an appetizer as lunch. I had the chicken nachos. They were superior! Super delicious, loved them! Food came reasonably fast. The reason my rating is a 3 was the service. The host didn’t seem happy to be there, they were not rude, just not as friendly. Then our waitress, while kind was not very attentive. My drink came after we were done eating. She did not check to ask how things were really, she took our order and brought our bill; someone else delivered our food. I would come back because everything was DELICIOUS, but service was slacking.

The food and service were great at Savannah Tequila Company! Our server, Mia, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made our dining experience even better. The management staff also deserves recognition for running such a well-organized and welcoming restaurant. From start to finish, everything felt professional and seamless. Highly recommend!

Not your typical Mexican restaurant. I loved the Shrimp with lime and poblano peppers! Enchiladas and pork ribs were yummy. Salsa trio was good. Try to get a seat outside! Margaritas were strong.

While my sisters and I were on our sister trip in Savannah, we stopped by Savannah Tequila Co for a quick afternoon snack — and we’re so glad we did! We ordered a few chicken tacos, and they were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You could really taste the quality and care in every bite. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was vibrant, energetic, and full of life, with great music and a fun crowd. We only stopped in for a short visit, but had we not already had other plans, we definitely would have stayed to enjoy the full dine-in experience. Next time we’re in Savannah, we’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll make sure to have the full “Dine-in experience!” Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for amazing tacos, friendly service, and a great vibe in the heart of Savannah.

Absolutely delicious food… We had the tableside guacamole, which is a wonderful experience in itself, and then the Paradillo (which was a platter for two people). The food - and drinks - were wonderful, but the service, from Maura, was outstanding. She took time to tell us about home and Mexican culture which was an honour to listen to.
Jessica T — Google review
We went there twice on our recent trip to Savannah. The first night we had a waiter named Michael, who was amazing! I have food allergies and he made sure I got food that was safe for me & I felt comfortable. The food was excellent! We had such a great time we went back a second time when he was working and brought others with us. Everyone loved their food and we had no leftovers! Michael took great care of us. We would all definitely go back! If you do go & have Michael, please call him John (for a joke) and tell him the Bible thumping, tequila lovers from Chicago sent you 😂
Tiffanie A — Google review
Quite a long walk down Rver Steet from where most of the action is. With a name like Tequila Co it didn't feel like anything like a Mexican restaurant. It was like a contemporary cafeteria. We had chips and salsa to start. The salsa didn't have much flavor but the guacamole and quesso were good. Chips were red, white and blue, looked nice but I've had better in authentic Mexican restaurants. Margaritas and wine were served rock glasses. Grilled chicken salad was OK. Asked for no cilantro but had no dressing either. I ordered 3 tacos. The pulled pork and fish taco were fine but the steak taco was like chewing leather. If you want Mexican I would try somewhere else.

Located in downtown Savannah's Historic District, The Original Pinkie Masters is a legendary dive bar that has retained its vintage vibe since opening in 1951. Frequented by celebrities and politicians like Jimmy Carter and Al Gore, this perennial cash-only venue offers ice-based drinks, shots, and cocktails. With a jukebox playing tunes, it's the perfect spot to unwind from 1pm-3am any day except Sunday.
Take cash and have a great time in one of the best dive bars in Savannah! What a tradition to try in Savannah. We visited the legendary Pinkie Masters. Our bartenders were really funny and had lots of energy.

Cool little dive bar. Cash only but they have an atm. Lots of pics and 70s Pabst decor. Jukebox and darts. Chill atmosphere with diverse crowd. David Lee Roth poster. Jimmu Carter came here in the 70s! One of the oldest bars in town. There is some history about the original owner.
Dina S — Google review
Stumbled across this iconic and historic dive bar on Saturday. (Thanks to Yelp) It was close to 100’ outside and there was a full bar inside. Cash only. (You can take your drinks to go.) Not food service. No tabs. No outside seating. It does have tons of local flair! Everyone seems to know each other and they were very welcoming to us. We stayed for a while and really enjoyed our visit to Pinky’s.

We accidentally stumbled into this little local pub! The atmosphere was fantastic, thanks to the locals. Everyone was really friendly to us tourists. One gentleman even shared a story about how President Jimmy Carter once sat on the other side of the bar here. God rest his soul! They have a huge variety of draft beers. The bartender was also very cheerful, which really added to our good mood! The price-quality ratio is excellent! It’s a must-stop during a sightseeing tour of Savannah! It’s good to know that Savannah is one of only three cities in the U.S. where you can drink alcohol on the street, either partially or fully.

The Rail Pub is a historic and lively establishment located in an 1890s building, offering a collegial atmosphere and a diverse selection of beers, drinks, and pub food. Situated in Savannah's former Red Light district, this neighborhood bar has been a staple of the West Congress Street nightlife for almost three decades. With bars on two stories and a courtyard featuring live music, The Rail Pub attracts a loyal local following with karaoke nights and generous happy hours.

The bar has a speakeasy vibe with its brick-walled space and booth seating, creating an ambient basement atmosphere. The extensive cocktail menu is creatively presented as a vintage newspaper, featuring classic punches, tiki drinks, Chartreuse cocktails, and house originals.
Great to bring outside of town friends. Very trendy good mixology bar. I enjoyed dressing up a bit to go. In the alley you go down some doors and enter a larger bar well decorated. Excellent for date night, or just to feel like “you went out” Dimly lit. Had a specialty drink and a classic dirty martini. Both well done.

Quick TLDR: Drinks: 10/10 | Service: 10/10 | Atmosphere and Vibe: 11/10 My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place while exploring the streets of Savannah together on vacation. Right off the bat, it was an extraordinary experience. To get to the bar, we had to go down an alleyway and down a dark set of stairs. I thought for sure I was about to walk up to a metal door in a bond movie and some Russian guy would open a tiny door and ask me for the password to get in. However, sure enough we opened the door at the bottom of the stairs and entered this darkly lit, classy bar that felt like a snazzy speak easy. We truly fell in love with this place. Whoever came up with the concept of this bar had a clear vision and true imagination for creating an unforgettable experience. The wonder didn't stop there however, as even the menus were crafted with thought. I don't want to spoil the menu, so you'll just have to see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Anyway, the place had a very cozy & romantic vibe while also feeling professional and mobster all at the same time. If I was opening a bar, this would be as close to perfection as I could imagine to attain. It's truly hard to convey just how snazzy this place is, so just check it out for yourself. Next time I am in Savannah, I will be coming back.

Drinks are the downside here, and that’s a shame because that’s why we went. Each of us typically have a nice feel with one glass of wine. We each had 2 cocktails but no buzz at all- it was like there was no alcohol in any of the drinks. Caribbean punch tasted like straight root beer (as mentioned in most recent review). Employee was mopping floors at 12:15 when we walked in (although several tables were dirty). Talk about vibe killer. Nice old music and underground bar is the reason for the star.

Stopped by this bar with a few colleagues midday. The atmosphere was okay—nothing special, but decent for a casual outing. I tried a cocktail, but it didn’t quite hit the mark. It was just okay, not as flavorful or well-crafted as I expected. One of my colleagues had the cheeseburger, which unfortunately wasn’t good—he thought the meat might have been off. Thankfully, the staff handled it well and refunded him without any hassle. I ordered the whipped feta with flatbread, and that was actually really good. Creamy, flavorful, and nicely presented. Overall, the experience was mixed. Some highlights, but definitely room for improvement, especially with the food and drinks.

Bar Julian is hands down one of my favorite spots in Savannah. I absolutely love this place—the atmosphere is super nice and the views are incredible. From up top, you can see all of Savannah, and it really makes the experience feel special. The food is always amazing, and the cocktails are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I love that they constantly update their cocktail menu—it keeps things exciting, and I’ve had some truly fantastic drinks here. The vibe honestly reminds me of a rooftop bar in NYC, but with that Savannah charm and stunning skyline. Whether you’re looking for a night out with friends, a date spot, or just a place to enjoy good food and drinks with an unbeatable view, Bar Julian never disappoints.

Peacock Lounge is a unique blend of a speakeasy and a nightclub, offering the timeless elegance of a speakeasy with elements of bottle service and high-energy vibes. It features a smaller but carefully curated cocktail menu with house originals and classics. This 18-and-up bar in Savannah, GA has garnered rave reviews for its lively atmosphere and inclusive party experience. The lounge offers modern food, cocktails, afternoon tea, live games, and ready-made products in a relaxed setting.
This place was incredible! From décor to cocktails, everything here was planned so well. Even to get into this place has a mysterious fun vibe because to get into the speakeasy, you have to walk through an Asian restaurant and walk down the stairs into what seems like a basement. Except, you are greeted by incredible décor and atmosphere. The bartenders were wonderful, the drinks were incredible, the atmosphere was amazing, what else can you ask for. This is a speakeasy done right! Well done!

Found this speakeasy last minute in downtown Savannah after grabbing some dinner. You stand in line outside and walk through the actual restaurant to get to the downstairs area. This place is inside Flock to the Wok which looked super good as we walked through. The seating is first come first serve and we were able to snag a cute corner booth in the main lounge area. Our server was handsome, dressed sharp like an old school bartender and made some good recommendations. We ordered some small apps and sipped on some delicious craft cocktails. It was definitely a vibe for many occasions - girls night, date night or just a good time. I can’t wait to come back with hubby!

Hidden speakeasy located below Flock of the Work. Such a cool vibe. Craft Cocktails were delicious! We did not have food but nibbles were available. This is a must visit in Savannah.

Drinks are great! Wish I could go back for more, but I live out of town. This place is totally worth stopping in! The speakeasy vibes are on point!

So this is a tough one. I didn't absolutely love this place, but I definitely think it's worthy of a good recommendation because it's so different and such a crazy vibe. Wasn't super happy about the line outside but hey, that means people want to get in and go there, right? Just a heads up- there is a dress code as there were some violations in the group ahead of us and they couldn't go in. There's so much to see and I absolutely love the decor and just random stuff that we saw. There's actually two rooms so make sure you see the second one. One of my favorite movies, The breakfast Club was playing in an area. Also, a variety of seating areas. There was this cool tech light thing, sorry I cannot explain what it was, but I couldn't keep my eyes off of it. Like I said, it's definitely worth going into and there wasn't a cover charge. But we only had one drink because we did not love the cocktails. Mine had a weird aftertaste that I did not enjoy. I think it's definitely fun to go to and worth a drink.

Really cool kind of hidden speakeasy. The entrance is through Flok to the Wok. Really cool seating and well crafted drinks. I had the blood orange martini and it was really good. We sat in a small area like our own private den.

Absolutely one of the best bars I’ve ever visited in all my trips to Savannah. To be fair I shouldn’t call it a bar as it’s better described as a cocktail lounge. The interior design is exceptional and a lot of thought went into to the little details making for a truly relaxing atmosphere. The bartenders were very personable and knowledgeable about the different drinks available. I decided on a cocktail called a Southern Living and would highly recommend. Will definitely return on my next visit to the area .

We read somewhere that there wasn't a good bourbon cocktail to be found in Savannah. Well, shame on them! PEACOCK delivered a beautiful Paper Airplane and Smoked Old Fashioned. Delightful cozy secret location in the lower level of Flock to the Wok. Don't miss it!

Savoy Society is a late-night bar and restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a terrace. They offer a variety of global dishes and cocktails, including vegan options such as sandwiches with vegan mozzarella, vegetable plates, sliders, salads, and a Mexican-inspired footlong vegan hot dog served with tater tots covered in house-made vegan queso. The place is known for its unique and thoughtful food and drinks that are not your typical combinations.
Stopping here to refresh is the best. And when there’s a party in Downtown, grabbing a cocktail is always a great idea. Thank you for making us part of your cleaning solutions.

Quite the collection of eclectic folks enjoying the evening here. People from all backgrounds hang out with friends in this crowded and popular bar and eatery. As this was our first stop of many, we did not eat here, but did enjoy some drinks. I would probably call the menu "boujee" as I am not even sure what some of the described menu items were, and I have traveled many places. It was a bit loud with the crowd, but it was an energizing atmosphere.
Deanna M — Google review
The craft cocktails are incredible—bartenders clearly take pride in mixing up these tantalizing works of art. The place has a fun 80s vibe, with the staff looking like they pulled their outfits straight from a vintage closet. The real highlight is spinning vinyl records, complete with the occasional crackle and static. Absolutely love this spot.
Matthew B — Google review
After a failed attempt to go to a nearby restaurant, we ended up at Savoy Society on our first evening in Savannah—and boy, did we feel immediately inducted! The red snapper was the best fish dish I’ve ever had, with its juicy flaky snapper, pops of vinegared veggies, browned by it tender fingerling potatoes, and addictive dipping sauce. Then the drinks were top notch. I devirginized the carrot colada and I regret nothing. Perfection. Also shoutout to our super cute and kind bartender who kept his cool the whole time, accommodated all my allergies, and never left us waiting for service or the check. 5 stars. Then can we just talk about THE VIBE??? It’s like dopamine decorating in a jungle in 1965. Tiki this, cheetah that, nailhead detail, gold, chartreuse on burgundy on sapphire on steroids. And the fish TV!!! The designer needs a promotion. We felt so at home from the first moment we walked in the door. Only complaint is that the secret must be out, because it got crowded the later we lingered. So go early, and you’ll find it hard to leave!!

*** No AI was used in this review, my words are my own.*** A dance party broke out around me at Savoy Society while I was attempting, unsuccessfully, to sober up near the end of a zippy evening earlier this year in Savannah. I was a solo table of one, sipping a modest Miller Lite can and a small-but-mighty Chatham Artillery Punch in a champ flute when the DJ kicked things into high gear about a quarter till midnight and half the room started to swayin' and grooving and I might have even caught a bit of grinding in the rear-view. Me? I was entirely too footsore for such mayhem, thanks to the "charming cobblestone" streets my hooves had been clopping on all day, and had to refrain from joining in, but this is the kind of vibe you can expect from Savoy Society. Charleston eat your heart out. The drinks were excellent all around, fun without being twee, hefty, and a fine value given the central Liberty street location. The staff was attentive and friendly and genuinely looked like they were having a fun night. My server in particular (K) was a grinning blur, weaving amongst numerous tables but always checking at my tiny perch and making sure things were proceeding smashingly. They were. Happy staff is always a good sign and makes the customer (you) relaxed, which I certainly was after a long walking tour of Savannah drinking establishments. The overall vibe is comfy and cozy, - plants, wicker chairs, vinyl, spot lighting and a big ole glass window facing the street to tempt the thirsty. It is clean with good sight lines, no 'dark corners' here. Moderately loud but then again it was dance night. Overall, inviting and even vaguely lush in a charming and thrifty sort of way. The food was surprisingly great too, especially for near midnight, a blurry photo of the well portioned Spanish Ham and Cheese sandwich with a side of pickled vegetables (excellent, crisp) is all that remains on my phone. I had to follow it up with a clever Rye/orgeat/lemon pebble-ice smasher garnished with a capsized Underberg in the double rocks. You know, exactly like they don't do in Germany. Savory Society is a lively joint staffed by people who care. They also sling strong drinks and fresh food into the witching hour. If you think you're too old for this place, you aren't, because Good Times are for any of us who show up. Savory Society is on my List for the Savannah central area and should be on yours as well. Five stars.

If you're looking for a bar that serves more than just great drinks, look no further than Savoy! This place is a sanctuary of warmth, wit, and wild energy. A special shout-out to Maya, the server who single-handedly saved my relationship with her incredible hospitality and intuitive care. The night started like any other – just me and my partner, trying to enjoy a night out. But, as fate would have it, we found ourselves caught in a tension-filled moment on the verge of splitting up. Enter Maya, with her calm demeanor and a spark of understanding in her eyes. She didn't just serve us drinks—she served as a reminder that love, just like good wine, only gets better with the right support. We sat down with glasses of white wine that were perfectly paired with two of the most phenomenal hotdogs we've ever had. Seriously, these things were next level—crispy, juicy, with a perfect mix of toppings that made every bite a revelation. But what really made the night unforgettable was Maya. Her ability to read the room (and our unspoken tension) and subtly steer the conversation in the right direction was pure magic. She turned what could have been an awkward, heavy evening into one of connection and laughter. By the time we left, not only had we saved our relationship, but we were also planning our next date night here. Maya is a gem, and this bar is now our go-to spot for when we want to mix great food, exceptional service, and a dash of romance (with a side of sizzle, of course). Highly recommend! Five stars all around.

Enjoyed three nights this weekend at Savoy! The atmosphere is like that of a 70's beach hotel bar with bamboo chairs, fun patterns, and layer textures and tones. The bartenders were extremely attentive. "Feeling Honky" was a favorite cocktail. Great way to end the evening Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night! Filled with both locals and Savannah visitors. Sunday we came back for a collaboration night with Soy y Soy and Jomar Santos Corujo serving up some spectacular cocktails. We enjoyed the beef and chicken arepas and the chimichurri flank steak. The house was packed with amazing energy and music thanks to the DJ who was brought in. So fun!

We just came here for cocktails but did get the heirloom tomato and burrata appetizer. It was delicious. Only thing was we wished we got more sourdough with it. Cocktails were good and the place was lovely and classy. It had a very relaxing feel. Perfect date night location!

This place was a blessing! We originally came to have dinner at Vic’s on the river, however they said it was gonna be an hour wait. So we walked right over to Arco to have a cocktail while we waited and ended up staying. We snacked on the charcuterie board and were quite impressed. Once an hour passed and no text from Vic’s we decided to stay to have dinner here too. Let me tell you they didn’t disappoint either. I highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass. Kasia was just the best and staff were amazing would definitely come back!!!

Arco has become one of our favorite dinner/cocktail lounge in downtown! Last night we had Nathan and Abby serving us! They were wonderful! We didn’t do drinks this time but we had the Pan Tostado, Filet Mignon and Grilled Shrimp with an extra side of Sautéed Green Beans! We unfortunately only got a picture of the Pan Tostado. The food is absolutely delicious, you will never regret your selection!

We had five hours to burn before flying home from Hilton head. We decided to pop into Savannah and explore. The crab cakes are the best in Savannah, without a doubt. The drinks and drink selection were top notch. Food: Okonomiyaki with pork belly and short ribs. Super great and interesting take. One thing that made the Okonomiyaki different was the toasted Bonito flakes. Super savory and a good mixture of textures. If you're not into savory onion and fish flavors, it's not for you. Drinks: Low Country Luau (great for people who like tart drinks) , A Dapper Mellow (if you're not super into fruity rum Drinks and are more of a bourbon or whiskey drinker this is for you), Tropical Pleasure, Riviera Maya 2.0, Maiden's Revenge. Overall, it was a great experience and food. The price was just a bit expensive for the kind of food and drinks offered. The bar tenders and wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If you are into trying different tiki bars in different states, this is worth the stop. The Bamboo Room has some unique offerings on their menu. I'd definitely order the Okonomiyaki and Maiden's Revenge.

Helpful tip if you’re new here: find the seating where you feel comfortable to chill, look over the menu, and then place your order and payment at the bar counter—nope, no one will come to you 🐺. Any questions you have, you have to approach the bar 😉. I even had to wipe down the wood bar table myself because of water stains from old drink glasses. I picked this lounge to meet friends because the drinks presentation I saw in other Google reviews looked pretty. I felt the lone wolf vibe when I entered. I didn’t feel welcomed (maybe that’s the vibe they wanted to give 😅 to match the brand?), but I made myself comfortable by leaning into my extroverted side 😎. I even convinced my friends, who were about to step out, to stay. The bartender seemed aloof and reserved, but his 🍹🍸🥃🍊 mixing skills were 👍🏼👍🏼. I tried two of their crafted selections, both delicious, and even the mocktail my friend ordered was yummy.

This hole in the wall bar is one of the best in Savannah. Love the atmosphere. We stopped in before a cooking class which was near the bar. If you find yourself off the beaten path somewhere in Savanah, Georgia, you'll discover this unassuming building. There are no large signs marking its existence, and it does not stand out. You enter the front door, and you will have found, not the Twilight Zone, but better!!! There exists this pretty cool little bar. Some would describe it as a dive, I say it's amazing! There is a decent size bar within the main room, and there are booths and tables, should you require a more personal space. The cocktails here are really good, as a mixology approach is taken in the preparation phase. 80's music was playing in the background, while the movie "The Barbarians" was playing on the television monitor. Look it up, 1987 flick starring the barbarian brothers, it's so bad it's good. I digress, but this just added to the ambiance and experience of this location. The bar is first come seating, and meals should be planned elsewhere. If you find yourself in the area, this place would definitely be worth a look!!!

McDonough's Restaurant & Lounge is a lively spot located in an inn, offering American comfort food all day long. The menu includes salads, sandwiches, lunch specials, burgers, and Irish-inspired pub fare. It's a favorite among locals for grabbing dinner late at night as the kitchen stays open until 2 a.m. The restaurant also features nightly karaoke and has a unique atmosphere that combines dank and homey vibes.
We recently hosted an event for a large group of clients in their private room, Billy's Place, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly. After the event, we headed downstairs for karaoke, which was an absolute blast and the perfect way to end the evening. Our clients had a fantastic time, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Highly recommend for both private events and a fun night out!

It’s a neat little bar with fun karaoke on Tuesday nights, but they don’t tell you that you have to pay to participate. I came in with a group of 8 after choir rehearsal to have some fun and the bar had only 4 people in it. It gradually filled up, and after well over an hour, we still never got to sing (we didn’t have money in our choir binders). It was such a bummer—they will put people ahead of you endlessly if you don’t pay. I tried offering all the candy I had in my bag but the DJ was diabetic (lol). Big downer. Just be prepared, come with cash if you want to do karaoke.
Laura O — Google review
Not bad, the karaoke is fun and it’s not a bad crowd. But Brooke (one of the bartenders) definitely made our experience great. Which is the reason for the 4th star. She made sure that my group were taken cared of, and was fun yet professional. I recommend this place if you like karaoke and a fun crowd. But Brooke’s energy was definitely memorable and she represented the establishment well.

It's definitely a bar that serves food. No actual wait staff, just bartenders that forget there are tables. We had to wait until the bartender paused his conversation and turned around to get his attention. Then we had to go into another area to find a different bartender to ask if she could ring us up because we never got a bill, and couldn't find anyone else. I used to go quite a lot for drinks and karaoke. It was always a great time. I've never been during the day, and probably never will again.

Overall I liked it. Food and beer....amazing. Really good. Took probably 5-7 min to be seated. Wasn't too busy. Took an additional 15- 20 for order. Food came out within 10 min. The beer came about 5 min after food was served. The entertainment (college Football) was deafening. Not really my thing, but the patrons at the restaurant were very much into it. Reminded me of a loud Buffalo wild wings with better food and better beer.

Truffle fries are fabulous. Cheeseburger was off the hook. Couple glasses of wine and our waitress, Faith was wonderful. Made the trip worthwhile. Can’t wait to go back, as long as she’s working. A server can make or break an experience. Highly recommend you request her. You won’t regret it.

The hubs and I were looking for a late night bite to eat. The Draft Room was close to home and had good reviews, so we pulled up. The staff was amazing. I'm not a beer person, but our waitress helped me find a cider that wasn't horrible. Irish nachos are so 🔥 and were the perfect combo with the wings. The wings were cooked perfectly. We tried 4 flavors; 1. Whiskey Buffalo was too hot for me but had great flavor. 2. Bourbon BBQ was a savory favor punch this was my 2nd favorite. 3. Garlic Parm was good but a little salty. 4. Sweet Chili was the best flavor, they sticky sweet with a little kicked and paired perfectly with the ACE pineapple ale. We will definitely be back. We missed the live music and would love to experience that. In the back they have darts, pool, and slots for some fun before or after you eat. The outside patio is so spacious. You gotta make this a regular rotation for food.

Faith was the very best waitress I’ve ever had the pleasure of serving me. She really seems to care about her customers and she’s very professional and courteous and fast. We see her working other tables as well as our own and cleaning constantly. I used to be a waitress and I can tell you that I would always request her. She way above average. And on top of it, she praises her workplace and her boss. That says a lot about her.

Our family had a great time. The food was wonderful. So many things we're done so well! Some outstanding dishes were the onion rings, Mac and cheese, salad, French dip and burgers! Love that the pool table was there! All our boys ( all three generations)had fun playing while waiting for the food once we ordered!

The brewery boasts around 20 beers on tap, including IPAs and fruited sours, as well as a broader spectrum of draft options. Super wonderful experience here! Bartender was so attentive and answered any questions we had! Drinks were yummy and the pizza and wings were delicious! They have super good ranch too! I would buy it by the bottle! We will return!

Fun brewery with some good beer ($7 pints). The pizzas looked amazing but unfortunately we already ate before visiting. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was dog friendly.

This place is magical. The concept of drinking locally brewed beers with freshly made pizzas is unique and exciting. We tried four different beers, all with rich and interesting flavors. It's a place for all occasions. I recommend it!
Tania G — Google review
We love this place. The food, drinks, and service are always great. Stacy is amazing. Our favorite thing to do is share a salad and pizza, which is plenty of food for two. The last time we went, we had the chicken sandwich, which was HUGE and delicious!
Morgan D — Google review
Changed my review to a from a 3 to a 4. The beers were good but nothing great. Only came in to try a few beers but the bar was full so sat at a table and used the ordering app from the qr code on the table. Took FOREVER to get our beers and had a terrible time re accessing my tab to pay. Might be a decent system for ordering food, but overkill and slow for ordering from the bar. Killer bathrooms though.
Randy S — Google review
I had a very good experience here. It was not crowded on Saturday’s noon. Tasty beer and thin crispy pizza from the oven with a real fire in it. Seats inside include separate tables and a bar. There are also dogs friendly outside tables with umbrellas.

I can’t help it. I love this place so much! This is our go to weekend place. The menu is not extensive, but what they do have, they do well. Our go-to’s are the classic pizza with cupping pepperoni (oh, the flavor!), the amazing meatball sandwich with auspicious co. bread, the beet salad and the whipped feta appetizer! You can get a flight of beer to sample any of the beers that they are featuring, which is a great way to have a lot of variety in what you drink. But my favorite is the lavender slushy lemonade. Oh boy! Brick and the rest of the staff take pride in what they do and we are so happy that this place is our little escape - where we can bring our dogs if we want to! The only and I mean the only thing that I wish they had was extra lighting outside so that you could actually see what you’re eating when it’s dark. They did add some, which is great. Just a little more on the other side of the outdoor space would be better. All in all, just a great local spot with food that has a great attention to detail detail and amazing flavor!

Best pizza I’ve had ALL YEAR! And our server/bartender Stacey gave very friendly and attentive service. We got a ceaser salad, the El Jefe pizza (so good 🤤) and some cocktails! Will be back! P.S. Get the ranch!!! They make it in house and I think it’s the best ranch in Savannah.

Brochu's Family Tradition is a new addition to Savannah's dining scene, brought by renowned chef Andrew Brochu from Chicago. Located in the Starland District, this rustic-chic eatery offers a unique take on regional comfort foods such as roasted oysters, fried chicken, shrimp, and banana pudding. The menu features a variety of oyster preparations and chicken dishes like sandwiches and a familial chicken dinner with an assortment of sides.
Walked in as a party of two on a Saturday around 6:30pm. We are seated within minutes at the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and drinks. Fantastic service. Based on what we had, I suspect you would have a hard time finding anything on the menu that would disappoint. Highlight was definitely the oysters and dirty rice for us. They are also known for the full/half bird platters which will likely feed 2-3 people easily. Enjoy.
Alec M — Google review
"Oh it's just fried chicken"... Trust me, it ain't just fried chicken. This is chicken at a whole different level. The thighs are fried (heavenly...quite possibly the best EVER). The breasts are marinated and roasted (no words). The legs are made into chicken salad, and the wings are used to make gravy. THEN...there is the rice. ALL of the rest of the chicken is used to make the rice. AND...biscuits, butter, and gravy. (hard to choose which one you want on your biscuit) The appetizer was Shrimp Caesar with Chimichurri on Brioche...and it was absolutely ridiculous. Dessert: Banana pudding (not pictured), and Buttermilk/Peach pie. Thank you Andrew Brochu for being so creative, and for showing such great hospitality. Thank you Lane for spectacular service. Truly a spectacular dinner experience with "Fried Chicken" (and so much more) If you are anywhere NEAR Savannah...this is a "go to" spot for you.
David G — Google review
We’ve been wanting to try Brochu’s for quite some time and finally got to go last night. We were able to get a table on the patio with no wait. Reservations are needed for inside. On the patio, you order at the window and everything is brought out to you. There was a special menu in celebration of Jimmy Buffett, but we stuck with the fare that they’re known for. The atmosphere is fun & laid back. The chicken sandwich and fried green tomato sandwich were excellent. We are definitely adding Brochu’s to our rotation of favorite Savannah restaurants! Updated: We celebrated my daughter’s college graduation this evening at Brochu’s. We were lucky enough to get a table inside without a reservation. From the host, to the server, to the cocktails, to the whole chicken meal, to the strawberry shortcake dessert, it was one of the best meals we’ve r ever had. Thank you, Brochu’s. 🍗

This is a great casual spot for a quality meal. I loved the oysters, salad, and chicken sandwich—all super fresh and seasoned well. The biscuits were mid, but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed spot with great ingredients and solid food!
Gray S — Google review
My sister really enjoyed this place. I didn’t think the toppings on the (raw) oysters were great. They don’t allow you to order one of each for 1/2 dozen. Ridiculous in my opinion. The charred chicken from the half bird was great! Moist and flavorful. However, the fried chicken was super thin (go to the Olde Pink House for that). More crust than meat. Biscuits were good, but not plain buttermilk so check before ordering. Friend green tomatoes were very good! We sat outside on a Wednesday night and it was easy to talk. You order and pay at the window and they bring the food to your table. Given that there are so many other incredible restaurants I won’t likely return to this one. That being said, I do hope you enjoy it.

Food is delicious! Recommend whole chicken dinner and chicken sandwich. Always have the best dessert. Service in Savannah can be tricky but with only one exception I get pretty nice servers.
Emma — Google review
Jillian was our server this evening. She was absolutely lovely! Kept our drinks full, table cleared, and gave us great recommendations (although we came in for the classic chicken sandwhich) we greatly appreciate her service to us. We also had 2 appetizers, crispy potatoes, and the chicken liver and bread. The chicken liver was amazing, the crispy potatoes were a little over seasoned for me. Had to stop eating them half way. Very delicious though! The chicken sandwhich is famous for a reason. Very zesty, moist and flavorful. The cherry on top was the banana pudding. Super sweet, great balance of pudding, cream, and cookies. Thank you!
Makenzy B — Google review
Most disappointing meal we've had in Savannah. #1 the menu does NOT state the chicken is boneless. Who serves boneless fried chicken? Also ordered dirty rice. It was terrible. Ordered raw "wasabi" oysters, no spice at all. Wedge salad was good, biscuits were good. The way the servers are taught is so weird, and designed to get you in and out. We were told we had to give our order (including drinks) all at once. Definitely felt rushed. Wouldn't go back.

Water Witch Tiki is a retro tiki bar located in Savannah's Starland District. The bar features eccentric and colorful decor, creating a paradise-like atmosphere. It offers a variety of cocktails, including the signature Water Witch and classic zombie. While some visitors found the place to be empty on certain nights, others enjoyed the unique and engrossing decor along with tasty drinks at typical cocktail prices for the area.
Super fun spot! Bartender was really great and helpful when it came to picking out which drinks to order. The cocktails and mocktails were great!

This is the cutest little tiki bar! The ambiance is quite whimsical and the bartenders very pleasant. The drinks come in glasses that are fun and fancy free! Ranging from giant conch shells to skull and crossbones (but they change them out seasonally.) The overall vibe is very chill with a fun mix of locals and tourists... there's even a lovely guitarist playing Fleetwood Mac here on a Saturday night. I will definitely be back!

A very interesting place with unique and engrossing decor. We stopped in on 24 Feb 2023 evening before heading to Front Porch Improv. Brick (I love lamp) served us and the drinks were very tasty. They were your typical cocktail price for the Savannah area. It was somewhat slow while we were there, otherwise the small space could feel cramped rather quickly. I’d stop in again if I were in the mood for a tropical drink.

One of the best places in Savannah! Staff is super nice and the atmosphere is great! Miles is the one who has waited on me the most and he is always great! The drinks are super good but I would love a bit more of a variety with some drinks that aren’t so sweet.

The staff are friendly, familiar, and knowledgeable about the dishes in a way that makes you feel certain they enjoy them as much as you're about to. This was one of the most exciting and delightful experiences I've had in dining in years. Thanks so much to the Late Air team.

I had a great meal at Late Air! The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was fantastic. The only downside is that the space gets a bit loud since there’s nothing to absorb the sound—but the cozy vibe and quality of the food make it totally worth it. I’d definitely recommend the lettuce wraps, Caesar salad, and steak. Also, don’t skip dessert—the chocolate cake with whipped cream was the perfect ending to the meal!

A first timer and it won’t be the last! A nice welcome and we were seated quickly. The food and drink menu was varied and so we dug in. Everything we pick from the menu was delicious from the presentation, flavour and texture. Our servers were very nice and answered any questions we had. We have to return as we couldn’t fit dessert in!

We didn’t know what to expect on our first visit. I can tell you this…the squash plate was mind blowing and satisfying. Their plates shrimp had a heat that kept us wanting more. Warmed olives…what?!?! Amazing! And the final almond torte …. Holy moly! What a fantastic finish! Their plates are unique, single, thoughtfully crafted and purely satisfying. Don’t pass it up. Give it a chance and you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect meal from start to finish. Showed up during happy hour but long surpassed that time and had to linger because of the amazing experience. Every item we ordered was top tier, including the wines that were paired with our food by our wonderful server Aubrey. The snapper tartare was the star of the show, but if you’re reading this review wondering what you should order, I must urge you to order the sourdough bread, the olives, the mushroom rice, the oysters, and the squash. 🤍

Wright Square, located in Savannah's Historic District, is a large and stunning square known for its impressive monuments and beautiful architecture. The adjacent streets are home to trendy boutiques like Harper Boutique and The Copper Closet. This square is also the site of a monument honoring Tomochichi, a 17th-century Creek leader who played a crucial role in fostering peace between the native population and English settlers. Additionally, Wright Square holds historical significance as the location of Savannah's second-oldest courthouse.
Gorgeous lil park!! Whole Savannah is filled with them but I love this one because it had roses in bloom! Beautiful pink roses 🌹my dog loved it too! She was so excited. Would’ve loved to have a picnic here. You should have a picnic here 🧺💝

One of the oldest and more interesting squares, it was originally Percival Square, but was renamed to honor Sir James Wright, last Royal Governor of Georgia. The square has many nicknames, due to its varied uses and the events that occurred here. (too extensive for this review!) Tomo-Chi-Chi, whose relationship with Oglethorpe was instrumental to Savannah's beginning was originally buried here, and therein lies more interesting history...

We strolled here to CVS which is right at the corner. Found out CVS is built on a jail, and the square is where hangings used to take place. It has a talk structure at the centre. As per our guide CVS folks also close early due to the said ghost sightings. A female ghost is most seen who was hanged here just after giving birth.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Sorry Charlie's The Neon Fish rooftop bar is a must-visit destination for seafood lovers and social butterflies alike. This vibrant spot offers an inviting atmosphere where patrons can enjoy refreshing drinks while soaking in stunning views. Even on a rainy day, the open-air design with ample covered seating ensures comfort without sacrificing ambiance. Guests rave about their culinary delights, particularly the French Quarter Oysters topped with garlic butter, crab meat, and Parmesan—an absolute treat!
I don’t know why the other reviews for this place are so poor. Came here on a rainy Sunday and it was perfect because the rooftop is open air but most of the seating is covered. Lots of bar seating, a good number of high tops and a few sofas for lounging. We came here specifically for the French Quarter Oysters (grilled and topped with garlic butter, crab meat, and Parmesan) and they did not disappoint. Also ordered the hand cut fries which were addictive! I like my fries skinny and crispy and these hit.
Nikki R — Google review
We stopped here twice during our latest trip to Savannah. We got both types of oysters, during happy hour so they were a reasonable price, and several drinks. All were great, as well as the view!
Stacy S — Google review
My girlfriend and I came to Sorry Charlie's craving oysters and decided to dine at the rooftop even though the host informed us the menu was different. (Note: we both work in the food industry so we are very forgiving/understanding and don't normally leave reviews) When we arrived upstairs there was plenty of seating available and the atmosphere/view was very enjoyable. Things went south when our server "greeted" us (she didn't introduce herself or give us a rundown of the menu, just simply asked if we were ready to order when we had just sat). We got a couple drinks which were good, then asked our server about the "Seafood Tower" ($95!) since we were indecisive and it seemed to have a lot of food. We asked if the tower would be too much for two people and she responded "Ball out if you want." Didn't really answer our question, so we asked how many oysters came with the tower as the menu only claimed to be "stacked high with our Bull River oysters!". Our server responded "I don't know I think either 6 or 12.", then didn't bother to check with the kitchen/manager. We decided to get it anyway because we figured the $95 "Seafood Tower" would surely have enough food for the two of us... When the tower arrived we were very disappointed. There was much less food than we thought at that price, and the presentation was lacking. It did have 12 oysters, which definitely doesn't equate to "stacked high", but we figured there wouldn't be more than a dozen. The rest of the tower consisted of two shrimp skewers, a generous amount of tuna tartare with a few too little chips, and a singular lobster roll (rather than multiple "mini lobster rolls" as the menu described). The food was all good and we had no complaints other than the oysters being on the smaller side, but hardly worth $95. My girlfriend and I aren't big eaters, but we were both still hungry after finishing. We didn't really want to give anymore business to Sorry Charlie's at that point, so after paying our $120+tip bill we left to get some Chinese food. In conclusion, we enjoyed the taste of our food and the ambiance of the rooftop, but ultimately the misleading menu description and gross overpricing of the seafood tower soiled our experience. Our lackadaisical server was the cherry on top. While I can't speak on other menu items or the first floor of the restaurant, I can say with 100% confidence: DO NOT GET THE SEAFOOD TOWER, and probably don't sit on the rooftop unless you're just getting drinks. Sorry Charlie
Ethan H — Google review
The rooftop was very disappointing. The moon was barely showing and there were only two stars….leaving the view lackluster to say the least. The ranch waters on the rooftop were also terrible, however the first floor bar did make a mean ranch water and the overall service/manners were much better first floor. Save your time, quads and money and don’t bother with the rooftop.
