Public swimming pool
Daffin Park Public Swimming Pool is a popular spot in Savannah, managed by the city. The 12-foot deep outdoor pool is a favorite during the summer months, attracting a diverse crowd of visitors. The park also features a well-maintained dog area within the Daffin Sports Complex, offering separate sections for small and large dogs to play and socialize.
Great people work here. From the managers to the lifeguards, everybody here is awesome. Facilities and pool is well maintained also. Always enjoy getting down here for a dip. Cheers folks.

Love the individualized attention the kids are getting with the swim lessons. They’ve learned so much just after 1 session. With the amount of progress they’re making, my kids just may finish the two week session knowing how to swim.
Ozella S — Google review
Had a blast with the grandkids . The pool area was well maintained and the water was surprisingly refreshing and not cold at all! How have I never been there?? We will be back next year!! A special thank you to the lifeguard that did my granddaughters swim test; I wish I knew your name.. Your were kind and patient with my granddaughter! That really means a lot not only to myself but it boosted her self confidence thru the roof! Thank you!

Nice sized dog park and my two dogs usually leave tired. This park is in the Daffin Sports Complex, just off 80/Victory Drive on Bee Road. Easy to spot and ample parking. There are two fenced in areas, one for small dogs and one for normal dogs ;) My two always take me to the normal dog park. There are a lot of tall, oak and pine trees, providing lots of shade as well as obstacles for running dogs to miss. There are 4 or 5 picnic tables scattered around for the humans. Also there are two watering stations and a bunch of buckets for dog hydration. There are usually dogs here to play with and so far no fights. I'll keep going - look for a big black lab and a smaller chocolate brown lab running, smiling and drooling.
Peter B — Google review
Beautiful Man made pond, but the fountains don't run a lot of the time, it gets kinda disappointing, but still beautiful with or without plus the track around the park for runners and a playground for kids. Also a basketball court and picnic tables so there's plenty of options for activities.

Indoor swimming pool
Chatham County Aquatic Center, a beloved community spot in Savannah for 25 years, offers something for everyone. Whether you're a serious swimmer or just want to relax with family and friends, there's a pool for you - from the 50-meter lap pool to the recreational pool. The recently updated facility boasts state-of-the-art amenities and is perfect for teams, families, and individuals. While there may be swimming meets at times, the center provides ample seating/bleachers.
Learning to swim at 70+ would be with much doubt. The instructor, swim mates and patrons are supportive and encouraging. I am learning with ease as a life long learner to master this life-saving skill. I endorse CCAC.
Lemuel P — Google review
Enrolled my kids in group swim lessons and they were the ones crying everytime they had to learn something new. Mario did an amazing job being patient with them and making them feel safe, but pushing them to practice their new skills. My only complaint is that the classes fill up so quickly, they are hard to get in to!
Danica B — Google review
This is a great place to go to get some exercise or go swimming. It is relatively an expensive to go for a day or to pay for a membership. It is slightly hot in the area surrounding the pool, but if you were in the water it’s fine.
Sherry H — Google review
I have had my granddaughter enrolled in classes for almost a year now. She is advancing very nicely. She just turned 4 years old and manages quite well for her young age. All of this is due to the dedicated and adept staff and instructors who find every way possible to help her succeed! A "shout out" to Helen for her expertise services (in and out of the pool) as a manager and instructor. She makes it her goal to ensure every person who has a desire to learn to swim is afforded an opportunity to participate in aquatic education. Thanks Helen for all you do!

The Chatham County Aquatic center is a great pool for swimming and exercise. The pool is great for both training and competition. One of the best swim teams in Georgia trains here, the Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team (GCAT) coached by bronze medalist and world record holder, Bill Forrester. I love coming to this pool to swim. Community center
The Jewish Educational Alliance offers a diverse range of activities for individuals and families. The outdoor pool is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, but the indoor pool remains open for swimming laps and cooling off during the summer. Families with young children will appreciate the large zero entry area and sprinklers in the new outdoor pool. The after-school program provides a fun and safe environment for children, with dedicated staff who are personable and attentive to each child's needs.
Love going to the pool at the JEA! Great people there! I feel like they are a family for me and enjoy my swimming and working out! My additional classes are chair yoga, chair aerobics, and ballroom dance. Check it out!
Karen R — Google review
Very educational and informative. People on guard, rightly so. I was a stranger...this was my second time visiting in maybe 10 years. No majors. Overall things went well.
Logan E — Google review
After observing the improvements to the outdoor pool during swim classes, we took a chance and signed up for the JEA pool instead of our regular neighborhood pool. Big mistake. First, the registration you complete online before activating your account at the facility, actually starts your 3 month period. Most significantly, the first week of June and the pool is closed for days, possibly a week. The pool has been closed all winter; scheduling maintenance now is poor planning at best. Lastly, don't expect friendly knowledgeable updates about the status of the pool. At the front desk, they know nothing about it and are not bothered to investigate further. They are happy to take your money but seem to have no sense of obligation to deliver the facilities paid for. When asked if our membership would be extended for the days the pool is closed, no one has any answers. Hoping the summer improves but, so far, this has been a big disappointment.

We love the preschool! The teachers and administrators are very engaged, and work hard to create a fun and safe environment for the children. The new outdoor pool is amazing. It has a large zero entry area that is perfect for families with small children, along with sprinklers and plenty of places to sit on the pool deck.

Swimming pool
Mayfair Pool is a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike. Despite being a private pool, it often becomes a lively hangout with the occasional food truck offering delicious treats during warm summer evenings. The pool boasts a depth of 12 feet and includes two diving boards as well as a small slide, making it an ideal place for some aquatic fun. Visitors have praised the cleanliness of the pool and commended the attentive lifeguards on duty.
Great. Nice and clean. Great lifeguards. Water was so refreshing
Margie H — Google review
I am so disappointed that in 2024 the level of racial discrimination was so prevalent on my visit with my teenage son and his friends to the pool. We were in the pool for approximately 30 minutes when we were told that we needed a bracelet. We got out and went to the counter only to be told that we would have to pay a $400 membership to use the pool. When I asked the fee for friends of the members I was not given that information because it was evident we were not welcomed no matter what. I did call my friend who has been a resident for over 40 years and she even said that our skin color was the reason we were asked to leave. Someone needs to check the Google listing for this pool because it is classified as public and there is no signage that say otherwise.

Bacon Park/Pool is a delightful oasis nestled within the lush, green surroundings of one of Savannah's charming neighborhoods. Located in the southside area, just south of DeRenne Avenue, it offers easy access to various parts of the city thanks to its proximity to the Truman Parkway. This inviting pool features a small diving board and fun water cannons, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to cool off and unwind from the summer heat. It's a perfect destination for families and friends alike!
This park playground is awesome it has different areas for age group. 3 playgrounds and a very big space to play football, kick ball, racing and many more games that your child can run around to play. There's no restroom and not that many places to park.

One week before Debby hit our area we were hit by a very strong storm (8” in 1.5 hours). We were not at home and the pool overflowed behind the liner in our in ground pool. The next day the liner billowed and floated. We contacted Pride Pools Service and were put on their busy schedule. We ordered a new liner and when it came in, Wilson and Chris came out, drained the pool, removed and replaced the liner and installed a well point pump to help prevent further problems, all within 2 days. Very high quality work, on time and schedule. Not cheap, but well worth it considering the quality of the job.
Conrad M — Google review
We had a new pool liner installed a little over 2 years ago. I pointed out to the gentleman that installed it that I could see 2 ripples in the shallow end as the pool was being filled. He assured me that those ripples would work there way out with tbe weight of the water. Fast forward to today and we now have 7 ripples in the floor liner. Horrible job to say the least. Would not recommend.
Denise — Google review
I purchase all my chemicals from Pride. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. I was having an issue with my pump and Corey was sent to our house. He was so professional and helpful! We appreciate the time he spent answering our questions!
Beth R — Google review
Pride Pools is the best! Warren helped us every step of the way from start to finish. Tony (also awesome) managed our pool project for us. Both of them kept us in the loop about everything and willing to answer our questions during the building process. Ryan has been the fantastic about taking care of our pool. He is very patient while teaching us how to take care of the chemistry. Ryan also communicates in a timely matter. He goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable with what we should do to keep our pool crystal clear and ready for use. Highly recommend Pride Pools!
Roslyn W — Google review
Thanks Brad and Pride Pools for being so awesome! Brad (Smith) goes over and beyond to make sure that we are informed and understanding the maintenance of pool and it is highly appreciated! Pride Pools in general is a great company and has been a blessing to helping us get our pool back!
Christie S — Google review
I hate to give bad reviews, but here it is. First, we purchased a spa to relieve pain, I am a disabled veteran, so it was great. But, supposedly the warranty runs out after a year. The part that drains your spa came loose and would not stay on. After weeks of miscommunication and trying to find the correct part, they found it and the guy came and fixed it for around $150.00. The small amount for the charge wasn't the issue so much, as the fact that we paid over 90,000 for an inground heated pool. We knew that there would be a war zone in the backyard as when you get such a large pool, but the guys that they used were very unprofessional. We asked them not to smoke in our back yard, and was told that they wouldn't anymore, but they continued. Then the guy driving the bobcat to scoop up the dirt ripped our comcast cable out of the ground, when we told him, he said it wasn't buried. It was buried, we have 6 cameras around the house to prove it. It took comcast 3 weeks to restore the cable and bury it back in the ground. The point is that it feels like money is the building block for Pride Pools. After all the hassle, they could have at least fixed the spa at no charge. This has been a headache. We will no longer refer anyone to use them, and friends can't believe that this was going on. We also found our chemicals online for a lot cheaper. We did have a guy from Premier Pools come out and he said that they would have added landscaping to make the yard look better. We were approved for 125,000, they could have offered that option, being that they are the experts in knowing what damage this can do to a yard. Thank you guys for letting us know that we were such valued customers, by gauging and nickel and diming every single issue. Word of mouth goes a long way.
Shannon K — Google review
Came to learn a little about keeping my small pool clean. Mr Bill took very good care of us. He first asked if we needed help. I told him what I was there to buy. He then asked if I was familiar with keeping pools clean of if I needed help. I asked for help. He did not give me any information or pitches that I did not ask for. Bill did an excellent job today. I’ll be continuing to use Pride pools for this reason. Thanks again Bill.

The Savannah Golf Club, established in 1794, stands as one of the oldest golf clubs in the US. Its classic layout features tree-lined fairways and well-manicured greens, creating a serene atmosphere. The club is committed to upholding the traditions of the game while offering a warm environment for its members. Visitors have praised its outstanding service and adherence to Covid protocols during events.
Awesome golf course! Really cool setting, awesome staff. Beautiful setting. Tough course from the tee’s. Fast greens! Be short of the pin.

This place has A friendly staff, they are extremely nice staff members and have the most patience in the world. I will be returning. I accidentally ran into this place because my tire went out. Luckily it went out at this golf place that was a hidden gym. I discovered I have referred all of my friends. They have really good prices and deserve a lot of foot traffic here because it’s well worth it. I never write good reviews. I only write about that businesses, but I felt like this place deserved more than five stars.

Bucket list checked off here! I got lucky and bought member for the day at auction. The pro and staff made us feel very comfortable. The course was in good shape. 1794 construction date is amazing for north America.
Clint M — Google review
Course was amazing, near immaculate condition. Pace of play was horrendous, no marshals were out there policing play and we were behind pace by over 30-40 minutes. When rain started and the course closed down we went in to inquire about a rain check for the back 9 (we only got through 11 holes) and the older gentleman in the pro shop called us liars even though they have gps on the carts and could’ve easily checked where we ended up. Other than the rudeness of the pro shop staff the course was great.

Fabulous venue, great food, accommodating staff. We'd definitely do it again!

Had a wedding there on 7/6/21 the staff was very accommodating pleasant friendly and downright nice. The food was absolutely amazing. The facility was clean. I heard no negative report from any of the guests not even those that are hard to please especially in the line of food, they all give five stars for the food there was a gentleman there not sure of his name that was so polite and accommodating to me as being the mother of the bride he was noticeable and concerned. We had to tell some guess that that was not a restaurant it was a private club cuz they wanted to come back to eat there when they return to Savannah one guess said they'll never eat that broccoli again that was the best broccoli and pasta salad they've ever had hat's off to the shift and to the chef. Anyone that choose that place for a special occasion will leave there WOWED and completely satisfied

The Corporate Office-YMCA of Coastal Georgia operates several locations in the region, including Ford, WW Law Pool, Tompkins Pool, and Effingham. Each facility offers a range of programs and activities for all ages.
My review is for their Martial Arts program, they have excellent masters, is extremely affordable. Call and sign your kids up! The ladies at the front desk are great too. About summer camp, my daughter disliked it, she dreaded to go back every day, she says is dirty and that she stays in the hot sun too long, my son dislikes it too.
Andrea L — Google review
Do not use for after school care! Over ratio and unable to truly watch your child to the point that they will suspend your child over what other children say. The teacher doesn’t have to actually see the event for your child to be in trouble over it. A waste of your time and money. Save yourself the trouble!! I would give no stars but then I couldn’t leave a review.
Dana F — Google review
The font desk staff & lifeguards are both so sweet & welcoming. I’m only leaving 3 stars, though; I got my family’s membership primarily for the pool & its always a stressful experience for me. I come here for my daughter (who is 5 & loves it) but I’m a nervous & annoyed wreck every time we leave. There is always SO much splashing & rough housing amongst older kids. Even though I try to sit quietly & play with her near the steps, we’re constantly getting pushed or water shoved in our faces. Older kids are nearly always jumping in the side of the pull, SPLASHING and shoving. The lifeguards seem like really kind, helpful folks. Still, it’s unacceptable I've had to ask them make other swimmers follow the posted etiquette rules. Even then, the guard seemed too shy to command any attention; she did try though. Maybe I’d feel differently if I didn’t have a small child, but - alas - I do. It’s a hot mess of rowdy kids here & I hate the stress.

Just want to thank Remi (coaches soccer for my grandchildren). He is so awesome. He is great with my grandchildren and all of the team. He is professional, takes time to try and teach the team the skills . He shows great patience ,the children are 4 on one team and about 7 on my grandson team . We appreciate him so much such a great guy!! Also, the Fall Festival was wonderful!! So many cute costumes and Happy faces!! Thank you YMCA!!!!
Martha P — Google review
As a gym this YMCA gets 3 stars. I can't judge it's children's programs because I don't have children. The gym itself is a maze. There are not many machines and they are pretty old. I visited at 10am and it was PACKED. It is nice that they offer so many different fitness classes.
Audrey — Google review
Posted hours are wrong. It shows office hours as if that is what anyone is looking for. Call them for correct hours. The layout of the gym (locker rooms, group rooms, etc.) is confusing and the layout of gym weight room is confusing and very crowded and busy. However, the office staff is very friendly and helpful. They should look at other gyms in area and quit making excuses for the chaos as it has been this way for at least a decade. The Pooler YMCA layout is easy to understand and same nice staff.
Dreem W — Google review
This local gym is great! Facilities are constantly maintained and the hours are decent. But the real gem is the staff! Always eager to help and never stop encouraging! Not only do they provide a great gym and atmosphere, they constantly interact with the community. While partnering with Tapestry Church Savannah, they provide fall festivals, easter egg hunts, and christmas cheer to family's in need. Love this community staple.

The one in pooler is a completely waste of money and time. There is absolute NOTHING spectacular about it. The membership fees are too expensive and provides NOTHING in return. For the amount of money I WAS paying for membership fees, I expect for them to have more FREE classes but they don’t. They offer 1 price for members and like a 5/10 diff for members. Which is NOT a discount considering the amount you are paying EVERY month. They even went up on camp fees, which is off b/c they do not provide lunch. However, the kids do have a good time over there and seem to enjoy themselves. (Which is why I gave them the first star)Most of the classes offered are during times when MOST ppl are at work...so money lost. The gym is very small and dated, money lost. NO state of the art equipment at all. If they do have something it’s like 1 or 2 pieces IF THAT. With their membership you can ONLY have guest with you 3 times A YEAR..😭😭😭 like what a joke !! The staff is somewhat friendly, (which is why I gave them the 2nd star). Unfortunately that’s not enough considering the money are paying. Yes... your membership is good at all the ‘costal ‘ Ys. But if you’re like me and have a gym at your complex or house or access at work. The Y membership just isn’t worth it and a HUGE waste of money.... If you really want a gym experience that’s worth your money, join a planet fitness..you get more bang for your buck and you can bring guest with you EVERY SINGLE VISIT FOR FREE.... join an establishment that appreciates you spending money w/ them and not one, where you’re just contributing to someone’s paycheck and nothing more...

Sports activity location
Wilmington Park Pool is a charming oasis of southern comfort, conveniently located just minutes away from the Wilmington River and Half Moon Creek. It offers a range of amenities including a diving board, snack bar, baby pool for little ones, and even hosts movie nights on Fridays. While some visitors wish there were fewer interruptions for adult swim and more lifeguard supervision during that time, others appreciate the clean environment with ample shaded areas to escape the Savannah heat.
Fun place to go! Had a blast there!

One of the best neighborhood pools I've ever seen. Very clean with lots of seating and lounge chairs. There's a concession area for snacks and drinks. Very family friendly!
Crystal D — Google review
My kids love the Wilmington park pool because they have a diving board. The snack bar is amazing this year and movie nights are planned every Friday. I love the baby pool for my little boy. Over all it's a great time.
Shelley S — Google review
Nice clean environment with plenty of safe area to play. It's shaded as well but highly recommend going in the morning to avoid that Savannah heat!
Kitto V — Google review
Would be great if they didn't make all the kids get out so often for adult swim. I also think there should still be one lifeguard watching the pool during adult swim.
Robin P — Google review
Nice place to play Basketball / Tennis. The Tennis Courts have lights that you turn on yourself at the gate so you can play late at night.

Great pool! I also love the tennis court and the park and have spent much time here during summer breaks.

Nourish Natural Bath Products is a new Savannah location that offers handmade bath products and the ability to make your own bath products right at the shop. This unique experience is great for families, bachelorettes, Girl Scouts, friends, and locals alike.
My mom and I came to Savannah for a mother-daughter trip and stopped in Nourish. We were greeted by the KINDEST woman, Eileen, who helped us choose the cutest products. She embodied the “southern charm” personality! The sea salt scrub was incredible and you can get a matching soap and/or lotion to go with it so you smell like you just walked out of a spa. Would highly recommend!
Kelly K — Google review
The shop is well layed out and pretty. We bought three bath bombs and three shower steamers. Not a single one of them have any scent at all. When we were in the store I had my doubts because it didn’t smell like anything there but the salesperson said it would smell stronger under the shower or bath. It does not smell any stronger sadly.
Abhi K — Google review
This store had an amazing variety of products. I purchased a lot of shower steamers and some of the essential oil patches and I’ve enjoyed using the products. The staff in this store were very friendly and helpful.

Me and my mom were helped by the kindest woman. She helped me put together a lovely gift and gave my son the sweetest birthday wishes. Such a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back.

I was so excited to visit this store on my girls trip to Savannah, and it did not disappoint! They have lovely products and customer service. I had such a great interaction with a staff member named Sophie who helped me find exactly what I needed. I have tried the face oil she recommended and it is great. I will definitely try to visit next time I'm here.

Love this place ❤️ 💕 😍 they have the best homemade soaps, and the smell inside is so invigorating. Their products are the greatest in leaving your skin soft and moisturized. And the staff is very helpful.

Recreation center
Bowles C. Ford Park, situated near the Cloverdale neighborhood, offers a serene environment with its 20-acre lake and well-lit paved walking trails spanning around 0.7 miles. The park is an ideal location for leisurely strolls through scenic river swamp forest along the old Jenkes Toll Road. Visitors can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, observe wildlife such as turtles and various bird species, or simply relax by the picturesque lake.
Beautiful Park.. Looks like a good place to have a birthday party or just to take a nice walk. I didn’t walk around the park though. I sat and enjoyed the view you see in the pictures I took! :)
Ms. D — Google review
This park could be incredible but needs a lot of work. There are homeless tents in the woods by the parking and they like to hang out inside the park when it’s open. There is a ridiculous amount of litter and pollution in the woods and in the canal. This park feels very sketchy, yet is a beautiful pond. The city really needs to work on this park for it to feel safe and clean.
Drew B — Google review
Had my son's 5th b-day party here. It was a nice turn out. I brought a bouncy house and games such as sack race, 3-legged race, and pin the tail on the donkey. The playground equipment alone is not enough to keep 20 kids entertained. The grill is typical but worked well for the amount of hot dogs and hamburgers we served. Restrooms aren't very tidy. There are small spiders and webs everywhere. The covered picnic area seated all of the adults present. I was able to decorate and play music. Reservations for the day are really affordable for an outside event and allows for privacy. We did not utilize the pool (in April) and no one chose to walk around the lake, but it was a nice view.
Angel J — Google review
Lots of potential to be a nice park with great scenery. Bit of a diamond in the rough. I walked the woods less than 100ft from the playground and found multiple homeless camps and hazardous waste. A simple multi use trail system would help that park out a lot.
David C — Google review
It's a beautiful spot to come and clear your mind and just think and it's a nice Lake to walk around early in the morning
Chef B — Google review
Always clean and never too busy! We like to walk around the pond and see all the nature and animals like turtles and different birds!
Sheena C — Google review
It seems the city is renovating this park little by little. There is a big pond here and It's usually very quiet and peaceful.
