The ambience was very nice. It's a quite popular restaurant. Every table was almost full. Had chicken malai tikka, aerated drinks, chicken bharta with nun. Food was good, decent quantity. Service was good.

Had a nice dining experience here. Costs are on the higher side but they provide the quality too. One surprising thing was that they gave huge amount of plain curd when we asked for it and then charged 250/- for it which is certainly on the higher side both on quantity and price and normally doesn't happen. The normal practice is to give one or two bowls of curd and charge accordingly.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AT TAJ: A Birthday Celebration Ruined by Poor Service and Subpar Quality I recently visited the Taj restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday, and I regret to say that it was a disappointing experience, falling far short of the brand's reputation. Despite the renowned name, everything from the service to the food and overall atmosphere was subpar. Upon arrival, there was no clear direction or signage to guide us to the restaurant, and there were no staff members present to assist. The restaurant itself was barely half-full, yet the staff seemed disorganized and unable to accommodate us or direct us to a table. The condition of the menu was poor, with torn pages and missing sections. The glasses we were served in were broken, and the cutlery appeared old and worn out. As for the food, it was far from authentic. In fact, you could get much better quality and more authentic dishes at a local dhaba in Gwalior. The food was also served cold, and the service was slow and unresponsive. While the staff did eventually provide a small cake for my mother’s birthday, which we appreciated, the experience was marred by the condition of the knife they gave us to cut it. It had visible stains from a previous use, and when we asked the waitress about it, she casually mentioned that it might have been used by a previous customer. This was particularly disappointing, given that Taj is a five-star hotel, and such details, especially around cleanliness and hygiene, should never be overlooked. I am not seeking any compensation or special treatment, but I wanted to share this review to warn other potential guests. This experience was far from what one would expect from a brand like Taj, and I would caution anyone planning a special event here to reconsider. Trusting the brand did not deliver the experience we had hoped for, and unfortunately, our celebration was soured by these issues.

Had dinner there on 31st of august . It has always been a great experience to be there. The beauty of palace and the calmness, serenity in the place such a soothing experience. The menu is little bit complicated in terms of Indian food but still they manage to provide whatever we want in dinner.

I went here with my friends and enjoyed the food a lot. The main thing is that vegetarian food was available here and it was quite tasty. Go once and enjoy with your family, complete safety and surroundings are good, the environment is also good and it is very good for children also.

Had a wonderful time at this restaurant within The Taj Usha Kiran Palace Hotel. Such a quiet and serene place and the staff and food were sent from heaven itself. Ate a unique thing, Bundelkhand Onion Kheer. Didn’t know that one could make a sweet dish out of onions and it was spectacular. Only negative, their liquor license has expired for the last three years or so and still hasn’t been reissued so despite that fact that I was at the Taj, I couldn’t get a beer to go with my food. A must stop for a quiet and taste lunch set in lush gardens after a lot of sightseeing.

Recommended for a classy dinner, the food is fantastic, flavorful, 1 dish quantity is slightly less for two people in ratio to the cost. Priced obviously at a higher end, the ambience,music, service, taste and entertainment make it completely worth experiencing. Washroom was a bit ordinary, could get a bit more royal.

Gone to this awasome property for my wedding anniversary. We were presented with a welcome drink followed by a very beautiful red roses bouquet. In the evening before the dinner there was a surprise cake by the staff. Made our Anniversary a memorable one

I recently visited Indian Coffee House and had a wonderful experience. I ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Idli, and ended with a cup of chai. The taste was fantastic! The waiting time was manageable at around 20-25 minutes, which is better compared to other restaurants. The service was great, with well-behaved staff who ensured a pleasant dining experience. The cleanliness of the place was top-notch, adding to the overall positive impression.

For a place with “coffee” in its name, the beverage (hot coffee) they served was an absolute letdown. They literally sprinkled coffee powder over hot milk and called it coffee - an insult to any coffee lover! To make matters worse, the milk didn’t taste authentic, which made the drink even worse. The food didn’t redeem the experience either. I tried the Masala Dosa, and while it was passable, the filling was bland and lacked flavor. Overall, the place failed on all counts: coffee, food, and quality. I wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone looking for a decent coffee or meal. Avoid at all costs!

Although filter coffee is good, still this place is not as good as compared to other Indian Coffee House. Considering the location near the railway station, this place is good, otherwise not good.

Well I think these guys hate taste or flavours. Sambhar here is literally tasteless. It's way too bad. Same goes for the coffee. Worst coffee ever, even the cutlery is stained. Cups handle is way too small to even hold them properly. It's near railway station so let's not talk about ambience. Staff? Maybe they are overworking or underpaid that's why their vibe is so un-welcoming. What a downgrade this is as compared to Jabalpur's ICH.

Walked into this place quite by chance as we were looking for something light. The ground floor (near the bakery) offers a wide variety of tasty dishes and snacks at value-for-money rates. The rasgulla and ras malai were particularly excellent. Service was good as well.

I visited there, but didn't eat there because there was a huge smell in the entire premises for which I complained but they didn't pay any heed towards that. The tables were also so clean which is very appreciable that, the number of house flies also joined you on the table so, at the end I left from there by cancellation of my order for food.

Decent veg restaurant with good service and tasty food. They have all varieties of food. Chats, Chinese, South/ North Indian, etc. The service though took a while, has a typical restaurant ambience. The service is on the first floor whereas the outlet in the ground floor has pastries, sweets along with chats

Honestly we were a little skeptical about this place but it turned out to be really good. Situated by the main road - this a 2 storey food joint. Sweets and chat options are on the ground floor while dining option is on the first floor. They serve great variety of options. We had ordered paneer angaare Plain kulcha Lachha paratha Tandoor roti Madala papad Heeramani Every thing was great. Special mention to their tandoor roti - it was really soft and great. Generally tandoor roti gets hard to eat. But this one was too good. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hemraj suggested really good options to try. We ordered paneer angaare and heeramani on his recommendation and both were simply superb. Heeramani is a sweet dish served in a kulhad and is a rasgulla n rabdi combo. A delectable sweet and must try. Loved the experience. Good seating space available. Parking can be done by the road side. Ambience wise it’s not that great. Pretty decent though. Definitely a recommended option.

Good for take aways, dine in options are very good, can host birthday party, variety in food is awesome. Enjoyable for kids, can buy cakes, sweets, birthday accessories, breads, other confectionery items. Parking is also comfortable. Water quality which they serve is not good. Must improve on it.

Shere punjab have more than 3 outlet in gwalior city. But all are is same or just different restaurant, I don't know that. But taste of this place is good. Not the best and not the worst . Just good. I ordered food online most of the time. You can have all kind of food here. A place for little parties 🎉 with the gathering of 20 people only. Baaki sb thik hai. Jakar dekh lo.

The food was good, but some things like the panneer peices were of some what poor quality. The staff weren't rude but their were definitely some judgy undertones. I would give it like a 2.5 ish out of 5. It wasn't a bad experience overall, i really did enjoy my night, but it's just not some place I'd visit again.

Roti was almost 2 hours old and not fresh, onions were smelling bad, and overall the food quality was just average. Needs improvement.

First Impression : Interiors took my breath away. I was awestrucck when i entered this place. It is actually VANTAGE. The bestest interiors i have seen with so much grace and awesomness. I was so mesmerized that i couldn't stop admiring the place. So 4 stars for that exceptional beauty and art in gwalior. The food was okk.. The evening time actually makes the place more majestic. The place is peaceful and a good place for having some peace + privacy + good food. It is mediumly overpriced which is ok as comparison to the decor. Overall an awestruck place. I was having videos and lots of photo of this place but couldn't post as my previous phone got lost 😞 But trust me this place will totally mesmerize you. So thumbs up Second Impression : Hii guys, i visited this magnificent place again and here are the pictures.😇😇 . And previously when i visited there, i found menu mediumley priced but this time when i went there, the menu was ultra expensive. Well that's what we can expect from the places which are having huge interiors and decor. But still, menu was expensive. So i am compairing this experience with the previous one and thats why, i have just added it in the same previous review. P. Victorian Vantage, where do I begin? Let's start with the food. Frankly, it was disappointing. Everything seemed drowned in oil, leaving a greasy film on the plate and an unpleasant aftertaste. The lack of flavor was striking; it was as if the chef forgot to season anything. Service was equally lackluster, with staff seeming indifferent and inattentive. As for the ambience, it's a shame that such a beautiful Victorian-themed restaurant is marred by such subpar offerings. The decor is lovely, but it can't make up for the overall lack of quality. I wouldn't recommend Victorian Vantage to anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience.

Best place to go with anybody for authentic Rajasthani food. I have visited twice till now and the taste was consistent. The service is top notch and so is the environment and hygiene. You can go with both friends and family. PS: Their prices are inclusive of taxes, which I highly appreciate.

Nice place for veg food lovers which offers vegeterian thali in Rajasthani style, located at City centre gwalior. Restaurant is on the first floor above Domino. The sitting arrangements are good. There is sufficient space and good interior. The service is fast. The food is good in taste if you like rajashtani style vegetarian food. There is lot of variety in the thali offerred including 3 type of sweets, roti, rice, khichdi, papad, salad, pickles and 3 types of veg dishes along with buttermilk. Thali is unlimited and can not be shared.

Visited here on Feb 2022, experience no doubt was amazing but I wish if they can work a bit more on the authenticity of the dishes being served, out of all the dishes ordered, I personally found the fish and chips and the Cheese chilli toast the best out of the rest, ambiance is undoubtedly incredible, recommended

Captain’s cafe is one of the few places in Gwalior that one can go to for having a quick bite, meal with friends/family or a date with your loved one. Basically ideal for all sorts of occasions. The place is huge and is situated by a pool, the food out here is delicious, I recommend their nachos, pizzas and waffle. The prices are a bit high but worth the overall experience.

Place is good in terms of ambience but the food is below average. Ordered pasta, it was too dry - something like cooked in too hurry, replaced it on request, almost no change but this time had more liquid 😅 Drinks are good. Ordered citic attack and Devils poison. Recommendable.

We took a break at this place on our way back to Delhi for grabbing a quick lunch. The best part is that this place is just 5 mins from the highway... which makes it very attractive for intercity travelers who are bored from the obvious highway paratha and roti sabji options . The Kolkata cottage cheese burger is must for veggie lovers .... the ambiance is quite impressive with a pool view and airy terrace seating arrangement. The sandwiches are also quite filling!!

What a Kachori & Berai with aloo sabji... Just amazing in taste. You must go in the early morning. However, I felt, the shop front side n standing area should be little cleaned & no hygeine in eating area.

Visited Oct 2024. This place is so highly rated in reviews here and on YouTube. However, in my opinion, in any other city this would be just another kachori joint. I'm not saying the snacks are bad, just that there's nothing exceptional about the stuff being sold here. I had Kachori and Samosa, both were Rs 20, served with watery batata subji & chutneys. The taste is OK, the taste of the subji and chutneys are so over-powering you cannot really taste the kachori/samosa - so you would never really know how good/bad the kachoris/samosas are. Visit, if only to find out for yourself if the 4/5 star rating is justified. Pics attached.

By far, the best Kachoris in the city. This small shop which is quite easy to be missed by an unsuspecting foodie as just another road side eatery serves not only the best Kachoris but also Samosas, Bedai, Aloo Tikki, Jalebi and what not. One may start feeling bloated but can't feel satiated at all.

Well well every dish/item has a difference crowd of audience. Taste varies person to person and most of the time dishes are associated with local value, place, ingredients and expectations. I had travelled a lot and tried lot of things which were suggested by locals, bloggers & internet and hey! 90% of time I got disappointed badly. Kachori has hell lot of way of cooking depending upon region. Bedai/Bermi Puri, Samosa are under same category. Now coming to the point I personally liked it very much. Yes, items are spicy and it needs its own audience. The taste was not common & liked it very much. I tried 2 dishes Kachori & Puri, I want to eat them again. Well give it a try if you can eat spicy. But let me tell you the word ‘Spicy’ has its own category in food. Spicy doesn’t mean only chilly or high chaat masala. It’s about the taste from the ingredients used to make to high in something. I liked the spicy ness here a lot as the same spicy thing is bad for me in Delhi/NCR. Give it a try & experience it. Coz living in Delhi/NCR most of people have lost the taste as they need validation from influencers. & if you are not of them, consider yourself a real foody. There is a difference in being a famous food/item & being famous for actual taste/quality.

Suggested by some locals and also by the food bloggers - we visited the place and were NOT disappointed at all. We tried a few options while here Kachori-sabzi Dahi Gujiya Palak Chaat Gol gappe We loved everything we had here except Gol gappe/Pani puri. Especially dahi gujiya is simply toooo good. Their chutneys are super awesome. Very different, amazing and yumm. Situated on a very busy street, there is no seating space. You have to eat right by the roadside. Also parking can be a problem for a 4 wheeler. Very reasonably priced as well. Also the owner and the staff are very friendly and welcome you with smiling faces. Definitely an option to be tried while in Gwalior.

All the dishes we tried were amazing - kachori, bedai, samosa and Imarti (it was over sweet) They serve it authentically on pattal. The taste was amazing.

Some suppliers were observed chewing pan masala while serving food, which is highly unprofessional and unsanitary. These issues detract significantly from what could have been a pleasant dining experience. While the food itself is good, the management needs to address these shortcomings urgently to improve customer satisfaction and uphold basic hygiene standards.

Reachability : Volgas Restaurant is near DD Mall, and you can reach from station via auto or tempos directly. Food : Non-veg tandoori chicken is good at a reasonable price but other dishes including handi chicken etc are average. Service: Service takes about 15-20 min which might be annoying. Price : Price are almost similar to other restaurants in the area.

Bad experience. We have ordered chicken crispy from chinese menu as an starter and that thing doesn't have a single piece of chicken in it. It was super duper crispy and very hard to chew and gulp it. We also complained to the waiters and they added some more sauce in it and reheated it. We also wrote the complaint about it in the page, also known as the review sheet and I asked them that 'when I will get my reply ?' They gave me the conformation that I will get the reply before the next day by some lady working over their and now it more than three days and I didn't get even a single mail ! It disappointed me so much. When we entered the restaurant, it seemed so professional and we went their to had a full course meal but we were not able to finish the starter though ! You guys are killing your own legacy. We Ordered Veg Kolhapuri and Paneer Handi from Zomato and what they delivered is Gajar Matar ki sabji instead of Veg Kolhapuri and Paneer Handi was not even close to paneer handi. Vegetables and Taste was completely different when we dine in and on delivery its just yukk in 900/-. Guys go dine in but never order at home.

Have been here multiple times be it on road trips or visits to Gwalior this place has never once disappointed me. Good food, courteous staff and calm atmosphere perfect recipe for lunch and dinner time.

Ambience is really good but food quality is below mediocre. I feel that they use left out food which gives a feeling that something is not fresh. Moreover pricing is also little on the premium side.

I have never walked out of any resuturant untill today. We walked in at 4 Pm for lunch and ordered as per their advise whatever would be available 1st. Even after 30 min we had to send them a chaser about our food. 10 min later they came and said 5 min and everything hing would be available in the table. Sorry to say we walked out after waiting for long enough. At that point they had not a single table to attend.. Too much of dissapontment. As a tourist at Gwalior won't recommend to anyone. Never ever.

They don't care. Find your place else keep standing. Call for menu card or keep sitting. Again call for order or no one will ask. They need to work out on public relations and customership.

The condition of the room was up to my expectation. But there was no water in the bathroom. I checked in around 8-30 or 9 pm, I tried to have a bath but I ran out of water in the bathroom. The knobs of the taps were not working. The tv remote was out of order. Pillow cover was torn. Food quality was not to brag about. The only plus point it had was its location from Gwalior Railway Station (within 1 km). Over all, I would not recommend it to anyone.

This is situated near Saya Arcade, Padav, Gwalior railway station. The hotel is nice and tidy. The rooms are small but in good condition. Good for a couple. Our friends booked this hotel using oyo rooms. Very near to Gwalior railway station and Gwalior bus stand. And close to the city center. It is far from Gwalior airport but that's not as issue as commutation is easy to get from a walking distance. All the major site seeing places are nearby.

Didn't like the poha here at all. I went after seeing the Google reviews and multiple food blogs. I was surprised to find it empty at 9 am in the morning. Still, not judging the book by it's cover, I tried dhokla as well. It was dry and tasteless. Threw it away after a bite. Thereafter went to Panwadi Poha Centre on someone's advice, which was way better than this.

This is the ORIGINAL AGARWAL POHA BHANDAR. All other in town with similar names are fake. Must eat Poha here. Its quite spicy. Also you can try Dhokla which is a bit dry compared to the ones sold in Delhi. Overall its good

Clean restaurant, good place to visit with your family. The food was very average. The pizza is loaded with toppings and cheese but we didn't enjoy it at all. The chili garlic chowmein was very tasty. Spicy but yummy. Do give it a try if you can handle spicy food.

I visited Param Food Complex recently. The food was average, nothing exceptional. The atmosphere was decent, but the service was poor. The staff were available but stood far away at the counter, not coming near the tables to take orders. We had to look back and wave to get their attention. There was no check-in to ask if we needed anything else. Additionally, the handwash place had no water in the tap. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and needs improvement. Not recommended.

The place is good in ambience for a small city. We ordered biryani and bhurani raita, the quantity or portion size is good for two. Raita could have been more. The potato parantha size was good, and tasted good. The subz birayan, bhurani raita and parantha costed Rs 440.

Good thing - Lots of space for love birds....no interference from local goons. Bad thing - if you are alone the staff will let you wait for about 45 minimum.

The hotel is located on main highway. In appearance it looks good. The room sizes are satisfactory but the maintenance and service is awful. Stayed for a night with my family of 4, 2 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby. The hygiene is extremely disappointing. The room had foul odour due to poor ventilation and full of dust around the furniture. Couldn’t change the hotel as we reached quite late at the location. We upgraded the booked room from family to super deluxe while paying extra hoping for a better experience but the conditions of the room was similar. We payed 5k change for a single night with unpleasant experience. Service is slow and delayed. Had to wait and call thrice just for water bottles. Food was also disappointing. Not recommended at all.

Worst hospitality, dont care about the guest, laundry missing, rooms are not maintained, give random dates about construction being completed, they have just built this up, dont know how to run it. Have hired pretty much the most underpaid staff.

At first,the food is horrible. To top it,they are used of taking wrong orders. Even to top that their delivery time is on an average one and a half hour. And customer support,not worth mentioning. All in all a very horrible experience with this restaurant. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I had ordered a thali online today, instead of mix veg they gave potato sabji and instead of kadhai paneer they gave matar paneer sabji and its taste was very bad, it was smelling bad and they gave 2 hour old cold roti, overall it tasted very bad and when I contacted them they are saying that we are not responsible for this

I was so pleased with the service I received from this restaurent specially thanks to manager deepak sir and ranjit sir for nice management and thanks to staff - abhi , sidhhu, mahesh they are good workers. and beyond to help me find the perfect testy food . like missal pav and mysore masala dosa was very testy impressed with the quality of the maharashtrian and south indian food I received.

Firstly, the staff behavior was not up to the mark. They seemed inattentive and lacked the warmth and professionalism one would expect at a dining establishment. It felt like they were disinterested in ensuring a good experience for the customers.

Chhole bhature are best in gwalior. Taste is totally different. Only drawback is there is no sitting area. But if you have personal vehicle you can eat while sitting in that. Service is also fast.

Not sure what is the hype for. There was still some room left to cook chole properly. Bhature was better and was offered in disposable plate. Before hopping there, I tried chole bhature at A1 Swad, just opposite to Awatram and Sons, More bazar. They were far better. The downside is that they use steel plates which may not look clean. When asked A1 Swad owner about his Google page, he said that he doesn't get time to create one and is happy with whatever business he is getting.

There was a time when we would prefer having chole bhature from Mirchi but off late the experience has been pathetic. They would serve the food as if they are doing some charity even when the consumer is paying the demanded price. Service is getting pathetic every other day, specially the behaviour of the owner.

Went there and ordered a simple decent Paratha thinking how can any restaurant mess up such an easy job, but guess what they did! We waited an hour to get just one plate from them, and after that it was rubbish and just don't get me started on the service there, it was terrible. Like noone even answered us and they kept asking us to order more food meanwhile our order came through. Just overall not a good place to dine in

Had my daughter's bday here ,the place is very spacious ,newly made,neat and clean ,family environment,service was dedicated and timely,well maintained clean washroom.all family members had a great time. It has a separate party hall inside which is enough spacious for 25 to 30 in that hall only. Owner keeps checking if everything is ok.menu was made in kids keeping in mind , not much spicy and oily.

I had taken chicken tandoori Biriyani which was too much spicy with very spicy curry. Rice quality was not good as expected. They are not serving raita with Biriyani. Overall services & atmosphere was nice.

Ordered food from this restaurant through IRCTC Food-On-Train service. Food arrived fresh on time on the slotted berth as the train arrived at the station. Food was tasty and had sufficient quantity for each item. I was also impressed when I got the call from the restaurant to ask for the feedback on the taste and quantity. A good cafe to eat in Laskar area in Gwalior with good quality of food ,mostly fast food and mock tails.The cafe is well decorated with different lights and walls painted with comic characters to woo youngsters and kids.

My bhabhi was craving for Chinese platter for so long and after searching a lot I found it here. As I was been here, I was sure this place will serve good and won’t disappoint. So we left and went to this cafe. Had a great time talking and enjoying the platter. I was glad that she was happy. This place never disappoints and serves amazing food always.

Most probably my order was more continental, I am giving it a 2 star. It's rather Indian food restaurant. The inner ambience won my heart...complete football decore is very attractive. Finds such a hangout in Gwalior was a surprise definitely. The food needs a big makeover, especially Continental like Pizza, baked fish, etc.

Got served with stale Pasta...which lead to food poisoning. Every item had abundance of salt and don't even think about ordering a sizzlers...your whole concept of sizzlers will change.

It is a nice place to hangout with friends. The quality of food is nice but the ambience was okay okay for me. Rates are little high but according to the food quality, they are fine. It is a must visit place at once.

3.5 stars. I find this a bit too disturbing at times. They keep books which are supposed to be read. But yeah not a lot of people like the too loud environment. Plus the wooden floor above gets intrusive very often, destroying your peace. The food is good, fresh, tasty. The interior has a dark accent with a golden tint, and theme is Rock Bands (so it's pretty decent for a date!). Can't say about the occupied floors. You might hear 3 songs from 3 different parties going on.
