Great Indian food with impeccable service and superb atmosphere with the upstairs floor overlooking the main road.
We went there twice, ordering a variety of dishes and breads. Every time the spice level, taste and quality was perfect.
The family running the restaurant is also very kind, welcoming and speaks English very well. Would totally recommend you to have a meal there

The Manchurian was a flavorful explosion of Indo-Chinese goodness. The vegetable balls were crispy on the outside and soft inside, soaked in a spicy-tangy gravy that had the perfect balance of garlic, soy sauce, and chili. It wasn’t overly oily, and the texture held up well even after sitting for a bit. Perfect as an appetizer or even with fried rice!
We came here to have lunch and it was really good. We both ordered the ordinary thali , only 120 rupees!! We had also a fresh orange juice. The service is very good. And they have a terrace with a very beautiful view. I can really recommend this restaurant.
A family run restaurant within easy reach of the attractions in Orchha. The food is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. You have to try the Brinjal Masala curry (eggplant) - it was out of this world. Whatever time of the day you can get a great breakfast, lunch or dinner here. What stood out most to us was the genuineness and honesty of the family who run the restaurant. We visited other restaurants at Orchha and got ripped off but this couldn't be further from the truth here. Prisham (sorry if I've spelt your name wrong) was fantastic and really accommodating. Good luck with your Spanish course. The view over Raja Mahal is pretty epic too. 15/10

Had lunch there, where I ordered an Aloo & onion paratha with fried eggs on the side. The paratha was very good, it was served with 2 sauces, one which was sweet and sour and the other which was a green spicy one.
The paratha was very tasty and the staff was very kind and helpful with recommendations about our afternoon plans and other tips.
My girlfriend and I went here upon recommendation from our hotel. We had a wonderful view of the Fort from the restaurant terrace. The food was delicious. The Chai tasted amazingly and the waiters were extremely polite! Would definitely recommend visiting!
Indiana restaurant is a place to eat in Orchha if you are looking for tasty and delicious food. The owner of the restaurant is very generous and provides really good service.
I was specially impressed with the Indian food dishes and would recommend you to order shev bhaji, began bharta, dal tadka which are too good to be true. The restaurant also offers other Italian dishes with different variety of pizzas to the customers.

If you’re planning to visit India Restaurant in Orchha, I would recommend going in the evening. The restaurant usually closes in the morning, but after 5 PM the ambiance is really nice. The rooftop seating is the fine – especially if you get a corner table, the atmosphere feels great and you can enjoy the view.if you are with elderly people or anyone who may have difficulty ,it’s better for them to sit downstairs because the rooftop is accessible through a narrow iron staircase. Otherwise, for those comfortable with stairs, the rooftop experience is good because there are only few rooftop in that area
The food was extremely delicious here! We got the special thali and the normal thali, both were very good. The service was excellent and the staff was very kind. They also had a lower sitting where we sat very comfortably and enjoyed our meal. Will absolutely recommend it!

Lovely family run restaurant in a lovely town located on the main road as you make your way towards the gates of the beautiful Orccha fort.
Several generations of the family work at the restaurant and they are all very kind and friendly. Thee service is very efficient and all the food we ordered was delicious and hot. All the food is cooked fresh to order using local ingredients. If they run out of ingredients, they go straight to the market to get it for you.
We came here several times to eat with friends on our stay in the town.
The menu has lots of authentic dishes along with some other western options.
Every meal we had came piping hot and well presented.
It was my first time seeing pineapple and coconut lassies on a menu. Both were thick and had lots of fresh pineapple and coconut in. The masala tea was honestly the best we had had on our trip through the north of India. It was served in a huge mug. It was very addictive and was a favourite with our group.
The roti's and nasns were fluffy and light. Our dal was thick, tasty and hot and the portion size was huge. I loved the serving bucket. The egg curry was packed full of flavour and was a large size.
The rice pudding was yummy and had a generous portion of nuts and raisins in. The queen of deserts was so beautifully presented.
We also ordered several other dishes including a delicious aubergine curry and kaju paneer which were scrumptious. My husband has been converted to aubergine curry now!
All these dishes came in huge serving bowls.
The menu was very good value for money, the portion sizes were very generous, hot and tasty.
I would definitely recommend coming to eat at this friendly family run restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

We spent the most wonderful few days in Orcha and this restaurant is a must go to, the family who run it made us feel so welcome, we were fortunate to enjoy the Holi celebration there and the atmosphere was fantastic, a real genuine joy. We enjoyed different food, some snacks, but the highlight was the fantastic thali plate, so delicious and so inexpensive. A must visit!
I was hungry after reaching Orcha early morning from Jhansi and was looking for a good breakfast joint. When I searched AI, it recommended me this restaurant. I went there, probably being their very first customer. I read that they serve good Poha & Tea, hence I decided to try it out. The kulhad tea was served first and it was one of the most tasteless teas that I have ever had. Then I started waiting for my Poha and to my surprise it arrived after 25 minutes. The poha was covered in crunchy namkeen, along with a lemon slice 🍋 on top. When I took the first bite, my throat started burning and tingling, probably because of bad quality oil being used. The poha tasted inedible and I couldn't complete the full plate. Overall, I won't recommend this restaurant, if not it's the last option left.☺️

Old family restaurant that was the first to open back in the 90s. My parents visited 30 years ago and it's still run by the same family. Food was quick and good.
Nice place to sit next to the river and watch people passing by from the fort without too many cars or bikes.
This is small old restaurant with food and beverage options. The food is average in terms of quality and taste. Qe tried thier pizza which they cook on open fire. It was decent. We also tried their coffee. The cappuccino and americano were quite good. They have a good coffee machine due to which many tourists visit. The ambience is worn out and doesn’t look hygienic.
We were told it was the oldest restaurant in town, we were very well welcomed by the owner and his family, the food was fresh and clearly homemade, the insisted on giving us even more chapatis and made us taste their chutneys and mango pickle.

Mediterraneo Restaurant in Orchha is a warm and welcoming eatery with superb rooftop views of the Palace and Chaturbhuj Temple. The friendly owner, Sohit, ensures that guests feel comfortable and at home. The restaurant offers fresh, tasty, and inventive international cuisine with dishes like green papaya curry and dum potato. The newly opened rooftop space provides fabulous views of the palace, Chaturburge, and Ram Temple.
We chose Thali plates and we were surprised. Incredibly good taste in Orchha. Fresh food and great balcony!! I recommend this small restaurant 😀

The Chef knows how to cook and present well. They have a broad menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well. They also have the most exclusive view of Orchha Fort and Chaturbhuj Temple. A must-visit place while In Orchha.

This is definitely the go to place for me in Orchha. For an unassuming place, this restaurant packs a real punch. The rotis are crunchy and ready to be eaten with all the amazing dishes that the chef comes up with. We wanted a simple baingan bharta and this was an amazingly flavourful dish. He made it spicy, homely, and very rustic that really brings out the flavours of the brinjal.
On top of that, the chef is amazingly humble and warm towards his guests.
Would absolutely recommend this to everyone.

Very nice owner. I ordered a Veg. Biryani. It tasted rather bland and flavorless. In terms of texture, it was more reminiscent of risotto. I also had Veg. Sandwiches. These are served with a handful of chips and a sweet dip. Also rather unremarkable, but generally, there's not much you can go wrong with. Price is okay.

We had a late lunch on the rooftop. We had the space to ourselves and the service was excellent. It's a family restaurant, and the son speaks good English and enjoyed chatting with us. The Indian food is very tasty and there are excellent views of Orchha Fort.
Visited this place on 13Nov2023, around 8.30pm for dinner. We ordered paneer mutter, dal tadka, tawa roti and plain rice. Tawa roti was fresh and tasty but rice was of poor quality. We ordered dal for second time, but this time it was of poor taste. Dining hall is just ok and rates are high.
The food is very delicious (I especially liked the Tandoori Banarsi potatoes), the staff very friendly and helpful and you have a nice view of the monuments from the rooftop of the restaurant. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice and clean family run restaurant based about 10 minute walk from the Palace. We were only here for a few nights but would eat here frequently. They use mineral water for everything, which makes it very tourist friendly. The owner was very polite and not only provided us with recommendations for food and things to do, but also helped us book train tickets for our onward journey. The food was very tasty and they can make things as spicy as you like. We were very grateful to this family and we hope to come back to see them in Orcha again!

The food was okay overall - less spicy as requested, and freshly made.
We liked the taste of lassi, though unfortunately the glass or spoon didn’t seem properly cleaned, as there was a faint smell of masala and oil.
The prices are on the higher side considering the local price range, but considering the air-conditioning and the spacious seating, it feels acceptable.
The restroom was clean, which was a plus. On the other hand, I did notice an unpleasant smell inside the restaurant, which was a bit distracting.
The staff who attended to us was polite, and the food was served without much delay.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you prefer an air-conditioned restaurant, and don't mind paying slightly higher prices.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little spot! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The best part? The prices are incredibly low for the quality you get. It’s rare to find a place that serves generous portions without breaking the bank. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty meal on a budget!

Siyaram cafe and restaurant is nice and beautiful. Vibes of here is calm and relaxing. Food is tasty and yummy. There are lots of options added in menu from Starters to main course. Service is satisfying and staffs are humble.

Worst experience, too much delay and wrong food. We have ordered chinese and manchurian for which we have asked to wait for 20 minutes but we have to wait for 1 hour and then we have got fried rice instead of chinese as they could not prepare chinese but they didn't told at the time of order. Other customer sitting with family was also complaining all the time due to too much delay and they also left dissatisfied.

Nestled in a charming corner, Fauji Dhaba & Marriage Garden is a delightful eatery run by a retired CRPF Jawan on his family land. This humble dhaba serves up classic Indian fare that warms the heart and satisfies the palate. I had the pleasure of trying their Arhar Dal Tadka, Aloo Matar, and Mix Veg Dry paired with freshly made Tandoori Rotis—each dish bursting with flavor!

It's run by an Ex-CRPF Jawan on his ancestral plot. The Dhaba is basic one and provides general types of dfaba food. We tasted Arhar Dal Tadka, Aloo Matar and Mix Veg Dry along with Tandoori Rotis. The Daal was very tasty. Rotis were hot and oven fresh. Food with fairly reasonable price and good taste. A must visit place, as you also help settle down a retired CRPF fauji by helping him serve you.

The family restaurant BMW BABA art cafe in Orchha offers the finest cuisine in the area. During a three day stay, other restaurants couldn't compare to the quality of food served here. The atmosphere and ambiance are exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. The meals have a homemade taste that is absolutely delicious. Additionally, the cafe provides a stunning view, and specializes in serving regional or traditional dishes from Orchha.
Best food served in Orchha. Tried food at multiple places at Orchha during a three day stay there. Food at other restaurants were not as good as it was here. Ambiance, service, staff, food, all good.
