Blue Heaven is a renowned dining spot in Key West, known for its iconic Floridian-Caribbean cuisine and delectable key lime pie. The restaurant boasts a funky setting in a shady backyard, offering classic cooking and flavors. It's one of the top 10 restaurants noted by Conde Nast Traveler, alongside other unique dining establishments in the area.
Blue Heaven is everything you want in a true Key West experience! I had the Florida Lobster Grilled Cheese and it was AMAZING—rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. The drinks at the bar were perfectly mixed and hit the spot. Live music and a relaxed island vibe made the whole experience even better, especially with the roosters and chickens casually roaming around—classic Key West charm! We loved it so much, we came back later that day just for a slice of their famous Key Lime Pie… and WOW. It’s a must-have—tangy, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back!
William D — Google review
We loved this place it was such a great time. So eclectic and cool. The key lime pie was delicious. My husband had the mahi sandwich which was juicy and flaky. I ate the shrimp and grits as well which was tasty. We went as a group and everyone of us enjoyed the food. The service was amazing. It was fun to have the chickens hanging outside while we ate. Super cute gift shop I bought a tile with chickens on it. They also let you bring your catch of the day and cook it for you which is really neat
Hannah H — Google review
Really neat and eclectic place to eat! The food was delicious, and albeit very expensive, you could tell they emphasized food quality and prioritized organic, local, and farm to table produce and food. Their key lime pie was also very delicious. There are free range chickens roaming around and live music playing. It’s loud, but definitely a really cool experience. I don’t think I’ve eaten at a place quite like it. It feels like a haven inside key west.

If you’re in Key West, Blue Heaven absolutely lives up to its name — it’s a little slice of paradise on a plate! We went for Sunday lunch while on vacation, and even though the place was super busy (we waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes), it was totally worth the wait. The vibe is pure Key West — open-air, al fresco dining, colorful decor, chickens wandering around, and live music adding to the laid-back island feel. I ordered the Surf and Turf Benedict, which features Filet Mignon and Lobster — and wow, it was phenomenally good. Perfectly cooked, rich, and absolutely unique. My friends’ dishes were just as amazing: the BLT Benedict (where the “L” stands for Lobster) and a Shrimp Omelette that was loaded and flavorful. Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying their famous Key Lime Pie, and it did not disappoint. Tangy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet — easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Whether you’re a foodie or just want the quintessential Key West experience, Blue Heaven is a must-visit. I’d recommend it to anyone heading to the island — just go early, be patient, and enjoy the tropical atmosphere while you wait.
Damon H — Google review
As always a fun and amazing place! Breakfast was amazing on a Saturday! My crew and I got there nice and early just a little after open and walked right in. Certainly filled shortly after. Still all good because they open the bar across the street to get your vitamin c on. Most of us got the Lobster grits and BLT Benedicts which were delicious! Service was amazing!
Google F — Google review
Low key but relaxing and cool outdoors setting. Great spot for breakfast and brunch probably for dinner too. Come early before 10am to escape the long wait line. The line gets so long they have a waiting area across the street, the size of a restaurant. The food does not disappoint but doesn’t wow either. The roosters trying to catch a chicken and flying over our table were a bit much for me, but people seemed to enjoy it.
Youssef H — Google review
Perfect Brunch Spot!! my friends, and I came here before our snorkeling adventure, we had to wait about 30 minutes before being seated, but it was so worth it! Our server was very nice and told us about all of the specials! The lobster omelette was a big hit at our table as well as the lobster Benedict! The lobster was so fresh and yummy!! let’s not forget the FAMOUS KEY LIME PIE! WOW!! 100/10! I’m usually not a Keylime pie person but the one at Blue Heaven definitely changed my mind!! I highly recommend coming here and checking it out! I can’t wait to bring my family here next time we come to visit!
Diana M — Google review
This place is so cool!!! Live music and a lot of roosters to make you company for breakfast. 😅 We waited in line for 15/20 minutes but Service was so fast! We ordered some blueberry pancakes, egg Benedict’s with lobster was from another world! It was soooo delicious!!! Definitely recommend!! Key lime pie was really creamy and the merengue was good. A place that we you come back, for sure, next time we go to Key west.

Nestled just outside Islamorada in Tavernier, the Blond Giraffe Key Lime Pie Factory is a must-visit for dessert lovers. This charming spot specializes in both classic and inventive takes on the iconic key lime pie, including their famous chocolate-dipped frozen version on a stick. With outdoor seating available, you can savor your slice while soaking up the beautiful Florida sunshine.
10/10 hands down the my favorite key lime pie. The pie has the best creamy texture and isn’t overpowered with lime to where it is too tart, in fact it is just the right amount of lime flavor. The meringue was the best I have ever had (don’t tell my great grandma 🤫). The esspresso was the perfect addition and we really enjoyed the key lime butter cookie, it’s the perfect accompaniment to esspresso. Grab a slice or a frozen slice (we will be getting it next time) and relax our back in their beautiful garden. They have a lock 🔒 chain fence to commemorate any occasion (purchase locks at the counter). This is a MUST stop on your trip down the FL keys.

Key Lime Pie is down as a must have if visiting the Keys. This place was listed as a good place to visit, wasn't disappointed. The pie was lovely 😋😋 Staff were really friendly, the shop has a wide variety of key lime items to choose from too. Highly recommend.
Lee X — Google review
Made the visit for our first key lime pie ever. Parking to the side of the shop and also across the road next to the bank. Variety of other lime related products inside but we were only interested in the key lime pies. Went for a chocolate topping key lime and a meringue one. Loved the strong lime flavour of the lime married with a biscuit base. Couldn't finish in one sitting but had the rest later in the day. Would recommend!
Nic B — Google review
Blonde Giraffe is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the sweet, citrusy aroma of freshly made Key Lime Pie — and it’s every bit as delicious as it smells. Their classic Key Lime Pie is smooth, tangy, and perfectly balanced with a buttery graham cracker crust. I also loved their chocolate-dipped Key Lime Pie on a stick — such a fun treat and a true taste of the Keys! The shop itself is charming and colorful, with a relaxing outdoor garden area that’s perfect for enjoying your dessert. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and clearly proud of what they make. You can tell everything is crafted with care. If you’re traveling through the Keys, don’t miss Blonde Giraffe. It’s not just dessert — it’s part of the full Florida Keys experience!
Billie M — Google review
We’re from the UK and this is our first time in Florida so had to try the key lime pie. For the purpose of research we went here, to a place in Key West and another place in the Keys, Blond Giraffe won for us, it was simply the best. I didn’t think I would like key lime pie as I’m not a big fan of lime but it was AMAZING and I can’t stop thinking about it! You have to try it here, it was creamy, tangy and absolutely delicious and I would never travel through the Keys again without stopping here!
C C — Google review
Every time I go to the keys, getting key lime pie is a must. I saw this place as I was driving and decided to try somewhere new to pick up key lime pie. I tried the Key Lime pie with merengue and it was so delicious. The merengue was a perfect pair with the acidic taste of the key lime pie. I also tried the chocolate key lime pie with whip cream. It was good but I liked the key lime pie with merengue better. I also loved how this place has a cute garden in the back. You can get love locks and add to the fence. There’s also beautiful trees that provide a lot of shade. The back has clean bathrooms for anyone who needs to use it. I loved this zen area as it was very peaceful. It’s a great spot to sit and enjoy the desserts that you just purchased. The service was also great. I will definitely stop at this establishment for key lime pie when I go to the keys again.
Indiana L — Google review
This place was super easy to get in to and order. While everything in here is key lime related you shoukd probably enjoy key lime as much as I do. The place is not cheap but what is these days....so unless you're willing to make your own definitely give this a try and have the chocolate dipped key lime pie on stick...the best
Wbyoure1 — Google review
If you’re passing through the Keys, this place is a MUST-STOP! The Key Lime Pie at Blond Giraffe is absolutely delicious — creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced with that graham cracker crust. You can tell they’ve mastered the recipe. I also picked up their famous Key Lime Meringues — light, airy, and full of flavor, and to top it off they’re gluten-free and fat-free. The shop itself is charming with a tropical vibe, friendly staff, and a nice selection of sauces, jams, and other local treats. It’s the perfect spot to grab souvenirs or just treat yourself to authentic Key Lime flavors. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Old Town Bakery is a charming, family-run bakery located in the historic district of Key West. Known for its made-from-scratch bread, sweet treats, and delicious Key Lime pie with a gingersnap crust, this cozy cafe is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The bakery offers an array of pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and freshly baked bread each morning. It's a perfect spot to enjoy Cuban coffee while chatting with locals and immersing yourself in the area's history.
Nice little bakery on Eaton St. We were staying just up the street and enjoyed walking in for some delicious baked goods. We tried the sticky buns and raspberry croissant. 🥐 The sandwiches looked good and service very friendly

What a cute place!! Service was great! Staff super friendly and kind. Atmosphere felt like a place that I already know and loved. The pastries were sooo good!

OMG!!! I’ve been here 13 years and I’ve never gone here… I have been missing out! I’m on a mission to try new things and decided to pop in on this cute little place. I ended up ordering an Italian sandwich. Let me tell you it was divine. If you’re ever in town go there I ordered dessert ( the OMG Brownie) as well and it was awesome. I think I found a new favorite spot.
B B — Google review
This bakery had (in my opinion) the best Key Lime pie on the island. I tried enough during our vacation to know! I also bought their peach cobbler Danish. OMG! Absolute heaven. Highly recommend stopping by and checking out their goodies.
Lisa H — Google review
Nice local grab and go place. Danishes are delicious, curry chicken sandwich was a little dry but great flavor. Which they would matchstick cut the apples to be easier to eat. Breakfast burrito best protein option, but felt like a lot of tortilla to filling ratio. Good coffee too. Only a bench outside, so recommend taking it Togo. Would return and try the 🥐, guava pastry was super flake, wish it was bigger and had cream cheese.
ShadowSiren88 — Google review
Freshly made bakery items with huge breakfast sandwiches and strong coffee. The staff/ owners were lovely. I knocked over a drink, they were so sweet to clean it up, and offered to replace it. The key lime pie was a little more tart than others, as I was on a mission to try as many version of local pies as possible. We enjoyed our visit. Try walking to the shop if possible since parking is a struggle, but is worth the challenge.
Cindy C — Google review
Best spot for great baked goods and sandwiches! Tucked away in old town this spot came highly recommended and we totally were not letdown. A cute bakery that offers takeaway only. Sticky bun was my fave! Lightness of a croissant with the gooeyness of sticky bun! Perfect match! Very reasonably priced too! We liked it so much we went back twice! Had the Italian sandwich based on a recommendation of a local patron and it didn't disappoint! Make sure you go early as they close at 3 pm and their stuff sells out! Tip: walk down towards the water to the ferry terminal and you can grab a seat in the shade on the second floor and enjoy your treats/lunch while watching the boats in the marina!
Edwina J — Google review
As soon as the door opened the heavenly smell of freshly baked bread assaulted my senses! Fantastic case of bakery goodies and great sandwiches to go using their baked bread. Coffee was good as well. Value is definitely 👍. The rooster and hen we fed was an unexpected pleasure😊

Mrs. Mac's Kitchen, a long-standing local favorite adorned with license plates, offers a diverse menu featuring seafood, steaks, and nightly specials. Established in 1976 and named after the owner's mother and her recipes, this casual eatery continues to showcase many original dishes while introducing new offerings. Renowned for its breakfast experience, the restaurant serves American diner classics infused with fresh local seafood. The interior is uniquely decorated with license plates, creating a distinctive ambiance.
We stopped here on our way out of The Keys. We were greeted by Debbie who was super friendly and very polite. Our breakfast was very good. We had a vegetable omelette, biscuits and gravy, French toast, shrimp and grits, eggs and bacon and coffee. All of the entrees were delicious. I finished my meal with a piece of the key lime pie. I wasn’t expecting much, but the pie definitely did NOT disappoint. I don’t really know how to describe it, but it is one of the next pieces of key lime pie that I’ve had in the 20 years that we’ve been visiting. We loved all of the license plates and dollars on the walls and ceiling.
Love S — Google review
Our first stop in Key Largo did not disappoint! This was the ‘small’ location so not a tons of room, but the atmosphere and Knick knacks were still awesome - they used to do license plate collecting but have now moved to a signed dollar bill. The fish was also great and of course the pie! We had their infamous key lime pie - highly recommend. Our server was absolutely amazing as well! Highly recommend.

I love this little place, and I stop here as often as I can when I'm driving through the Keys. They have the world's best Key Lime pie 🥧🍋‍🟩!!! I also love getting the alligator bites. They even had my name on the Wall!!

Now that's a breakfast. Very fresh and awesome. The farmer's omelette was perfect. Our server Nona made us feel right at home. Thank you.

Amazing service and breakfast food. We were pleasantly surprised by a greeting at the door by a hostess, got some great food, including crab cake eggs Benedict's and the best key lime pie we had in Key Largo.
Norris G — Google review
Walked here in a few minutes from Holliday Inn. Cool funky decor. Wait staff so smiling and friendly. Texas Benedict is very nice but the chocolate malt is amazing!! The coffee is strong and tasty. I highly recommend a black coffee and a chocolate malt (my favorite) after a dive. Great place for our family of 6 to eat.
Thaddeus B — Google review
Maybe the best onion rings I’ve eaten. Loved being greeted at the door when we walked in. Food was delicious and atmosphere really fun. Texas Benedict was fantastic

We went for a late breakfast and it was the perfect diner breakfast. We had the pita breakfast sandwich and eggs with sausage and toast. Then we had the key lime pie. Loved it! It has a creamy texture and is served almost frozen which is the perfect treat for the FL keys heat. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite and the pie!

Key West Key Lime Pie Co. is a renowned establishment known for its delicious key lime pies, which are made fresh daily and have won numerous awards. The pies boast a light and smooth filling with just the right amount of sweetness, all nestled in a crunchy graham-cracker crust. They offer traditional key lime pie made the old-fashioned way, with a buttery graham cracker crust and tangy filling topped with whipped cream.
Stopped in on my way out of town to get a slice of key lime pie for my wife back in Miami. The shop had just opened, and the sweet, attentive lady behind the counter really made my day. Back in Miami, we served those mini pies, and they were delicious. I don't know if KWKLPC has the best pie in the Keys, but I do know it's the only place I will ever go when I'm down there.
Jorge G — Google review
I’m a key lime pie fan. We went by a few places to try their key lime pies. We got a small pie, it frozen, we ate it about a day later and it wasn’t good. It felt as the crust melted (got runny like the caramel of a flan). The texture wasn’t good, I’m not sure if it was because we got it frozen but it’s definitely not worth it. My daughter ate the whip cream. Publix key lime pie is a whole lot better.
Janet C — Google review
Grabbed a key lime pie to go. Will say I had a decent amount of key lime pie this trip. I will say this one’s ok. Maybe it’s because for me I’d like to have a bit more crust for a texture difference or contrast, also the pie was more tart than sweet. Basically, if those flavor profiles matches your fancy, absolutely come in and grab a slice.
Ivan A — Google review
This was the MOST delicious key lime pie I had ever tasted. Such kind and friendly staff and amazing key lime pie merch for a reasonable price. The store was also beautifully decorated which made the experience even better. It was walking distance from our cruise ship and if you are ever in key west you need to stop by. I also got the most heavenly scented key lime pie candle, an authentic beignet and the most refreshing key limeanade. My only complaint is that I don’t think I will be able to eat another key lime pie again unless it is made from this place, it’s that good
Abbey — Google review
This was the absolute best key lime pie I have ever eaten. My niece and her husband actually saw this company on The Profit and said the gentleman stated the same thing. I guess you’ll have to visit Key West to get a taste of true key lime pie or order it online and have shipped. I wish I had bought more!! I highly recommend visiting if in the area.
Dr. R — Google review
Absolutely delicious 😋!! My Hubby and I came in December 2023 all the way from Atlanta during a cruise and now I returned in May 2024 on another cruise with my Mom. The key lime pie is light and refreshing. I also enjoyed the key lime punch so authentic. What I appreciate the most is that it's not tart!! The most delicious choice in Key West...give them a try.
Janelle J — Google review
Very well clean place with nice designs and space. The service was friendly. The slices of key lime pies weren’t that tasty. It’s nice to see the process of making pies in front of you but personally I didn’t like the taste.
Wassim A — Google review
Definitely the BEST Key Lime Pie in the Key West!!! We have tried Key Lime Pie from other locations during the same visit, but their Key Lime Pie and taffy definitely have that Key Lime punch, great consistency and taste as well. We the the mini version, soft serve. Great service, great ambiance. I would definitely love recommend and I know I will definitely crave it when I’m back home.

Sweet Savannah's of the Florida Keys is a charming spot with a relaxed atmosphere and outdoor seating, offering an array of delightful treats. Whether you're craving homemade ice cream or looking to order a personalized wedding or birthday cake, Sweet Savannah's has you covered.
Wow what a place! The cafe seating area is just the ticket. Coffee is so well brewed it doesn't even need cream. Cupcake was to die for! The center had a gooey lime delight which paired nicely with the delicate butter cream topping and citrus meringue. Gift shop is one i can spend all day in. A definite gem for the keys!

Gluten free cupcakes and desserts! Also love the mint chocolate chip (oddly, the plain chocolate wasn't my favorite). They also have a shop stocked with local artists' items. We finally found cute jewelry for my niece! I was surprised at how many places down here don't have earrings for young girls! Love what we bought here!
Nicole B — Google review
Great variety of regular and gluten free dessert options. They also feature a coffee bar for drinks, and have a side room with ample seating if you have multiple people together. The service was friendly, the bathroom was clean (and cute, love the salt scrub option!) and the rum raisin ice cream I enjoyed was refreshing. Brought home a chocolate covered key lime and cupcake for later! Prices were fair for baked goods. They also made a note at the cash register about their pricing transparency (some items being more now post-tariffs) and I commend them at wanting to maintain an honest relationship with their customers. They clearly communicate the change in that flyer and as a customer it makes me want to support them more knowing they were mindful about taking steps to ensure they weren’t price gouging.

Ice cream is rich and creamy with a ton of great diverse flavors. Fun signage and options add some variety to the aesthetic. Key lime pie is so thick and dense and the whipped topping is fresh and flavorful. Really one of the the best pies I've had in the keys. S'mores cookie was gooey and soft with the perfect ratio of marshmallow and chocolate. Cost is reasonable against portion sizes and the little shop and seating is clean and abundant. Def a must stop in marathon.
Tabitha R — Google review
This was our first time visiting Sweet Savannah’s, and wow—what an amazing treat! Hands down, the best ice cream in Marathon. The variety of flavors is impressive, and every one we tried was absolutely delicious 😋. We’ll definitely be back, and we highly recommend Sweet Savannah’s to anyone looking for a sweet and satisfying experience!
Maria W — Google review
Amazing!!! Many gluten free options that tasted like normal desserts and priced fair. Their gf key lime pie is the best I’ve ever had (even better than non gf)! My husband had the normal key lime pie and also said it was the best he’s ever had. We each had a cheesecake slice as well. Additionally, the shop was absolutely adorable. If you’re visiting the keys, you must stop here for ice cream, a baked treat or a cute gift or keepsake!

Husband and I stopped in here on vacation. Sweet little place with delicious desserts. We got key lime pie ice cream and key lime pie cheesecake. Both were awesome. Their whole dessert display case was a temptation. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

Adorable store with a separate seating area. Ice cream, baked goods, souvenirs. The key lime pie has the right amount of "tart", not too sweet like some of them. Good variety of cupcake flavors (the website lists flavors of the day, but there are more flavors available). Prices are reasonable (for the Keys).

This shop had a very welcoming environment. We were greeted by the mascot and his famous pie. He welcomed us in and encouraged us to partake in the samples provided all around the store. We purchased waffle cones and they were delicious. My son also got a bag of cookies 🍪, the cappuccino rum cake, and key lime pie. Surprisingly, the key lime pie was not that good. Such a charming little shop! I finally got to try the famous Key Lime Pie here after doing a lot of research, it was my very first time having one in Key West. The pie was incredibly fresh, soft, and so delicious that it practically melted in my mouth. I loved it so much that I finished the whole thing in just four minutes!

Kermit’s Key Lime Pie Shop on Elizabeth Street is a fantastic stop in Key West. The key lime pie is delicious and refreshing, and they also have unique treats like lemon cookies that are worth trying. What makes it even better is the variety of samples available so you can taste before you buy. They even had a little snack for our dog, which was such a nice touch. A fun and welcoming spot to enjoy local flavors.

I know this place is always one of the top rated Key Lime pies in Key West. It ended up being my second favorite (tried 5 during the week). The pie was thicker (less creamy) than the others, but had a really nice lime flavor. I thought the piece was small, and while the shop had a lot of different key lime snacks and souvenirs, it felt a little over commercialized with just grabbing a pre-cut piece from a refrigerated case and checking out at a counter. It wasn't busy when we were there, but you could imagine days with large lines waiting to grab their piece of pie and go find a seat in the dining area. As I mentioned, the shop was cute, and there was a large indoor/outdoor seating area for when it's busy.

I stopped by Kermit’s Key Lime Shop and I have to say, everything about it was amazing. The key lime pie cheesecake was incredibly tasty, rich, creamy, and full of that perfect tangy sweet key lime flavor. Honestly, it was one of the best desserts I have ever had. I also tried the classic key lime pie, and it was just as good, smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet. You can tell they really know what they are doing. The shop itself is cute and full of charm, and the people working there were very kind and welcoming. Everyone had a smile and made you feel at home. It is one of those places that feels local and authentic, not touristy at all. If you are in Key West, Kermit’s is a must visit whether you are a dessert lover or just curious about why key lime pie is such a big deal. You will walk away happy, maybe even with a few extra slices to take home.

This place is charmingly decorated and welcoming with yummy Key Lime delights inside. I never leave the Keys without a frozen Kermit’s Key Lime Pie for home and send these to clients around the country. Bring your own cooler or you’ll have to pay for a frozen bag. Tried their Key Lime Taffy samples for the first time and ended up buying two bags because they were so yummy. Took one star off because only after, did I read that they’re made with corn syrup and palm oil and I avoid those ingredients for obvious reasons.
Rina — Google review
This was definitely one of the best key lime pie I've tried out of all the keys, but I will say, it's better in the store than buying a whole pie and taking it home. The crust gets almost soggy when its frozen. The prices for everything were pretty reasonable, expect for the pie. Way overpriced, especially for soggy crust. Just need some work on how to keep the crust and it would be worth it because the filling is delicious.
Charity C — Google review
Amazing and delicious key lime pies! I was staying at simonton court inn & this was just a short 2 minute walk around the corner which was fantastic! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere and aesthetic of the shop was absolutely perfect and there are so many treats and souvenirs you can grab to remember your trip by, bring back to your family & to enjoy back at your hotel. I highly recommend the coconut cream pie, my boyfriend who is not a fan of citrus, even said it was yummy and refreshing! We also got a limeade for our walk back which was also refreshing, and we grabbed a few items to bring back as souvenirs! This was a great last stop on our trip before we left and I'm so glad we went. Can't stop thinking about the delicious coconut key lime pie!!

Lazy Days Restaurant in Islamorada offers a laid-back dining experience with stunning ocean views. The restaurant serves fresh, unfrozen seafood and other culinary delights. While the establishment may need some maintenance, the quality of the food and the picturesque view make it a worthwhile dining destination for seafood lovers.
We stopped by Lazy Days close to the end of the night. While the service was a bit slow—maybe because it was near closing time—the food definitely made up for it. Everything we ordered was delicious! The fish was fresh, the peel-and-eat shrimp were perfectly seasoned, and the crab legs, oysters, and alligator were all full of flavor. The highlight was the warm, fresh banana bread, such a nice touch! Would love to come back earlier in the day to experience the full service.

Perfect stop for on your way down to Key West or on your way back. Grouper cheeks were awesome and the conch with lazy days sauce simply delicious! We all had different fish sandwiches and all were excellent! I love the sandy table area right along the water's edge. Plenty of shade with the overhang and umbrellas. Good friendly service. Clean restrooms

We always make a stop at Lazy Days when we’re in the Keys. It’s such a fun spot to feed the sharks and tarpon and take some great photos. We usually enjoy a couple of snacks here and end up skipping dinner at home. The food is always good, and we really like that they have happy hour on Sundays. A great place to relax and enjoy the Keys vibe.

My family were visiting this area for a wedding and a nice local lady recommended Lazy Days Restaurant to us and we were glad she did! There were seven of us and we were greeted and seated within a few minutes of our arrival for dinner. We shared appetizers of Calamari, Grouper bites, blue point Oysters, and loaded Potato skins. I tried them all, and everything tasted fresh and delicious! For our meal my wife and I shared the Lobster Atlantis. It was mouthwateringly good! For dessert we had a slice of amazing Key lime pie. Our server was funny, friendly and helpful. The shore-side atmosphere and outdoor seating was great on the beautiful day we were there. Overall it was a great experience!

Beautiful spot. Great views of the ocean even from inside seating. Fresh seafood nothing frozen. Another place even if I’m full and near by need to stop to eat at. One of the best hogfish sandwich I’ve had. Love the views of the ocean nice breeze if you sit outside even on hot days. Fast service decent prices for what you’re getting. Love it

Right on the ocean! Open Air seating on the bottom level 2nd floor with additional open air seating Great food!! Excellent food! Hogfish lazy days style was probably the best fish I’ve ever eaten I also got the hog fish sandwich on another day (Ate there twice that’s how good it is) Definitely Recommend 100% very reasonably priced as well

Wow wow WOW!!! AMAZING seafood! My new favorite spot in the keys. Their grouper cheeks are a must try and their ‘lazy days’ cooking method is unreal! We had Nick as our server for our groom’s dinner for our wedding. He was incredible, checking on us at the right times and was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We got almost everything based on his suggestions and it was all perfect. The best spot for a taste of the Keys! Best service ever, feet in the sand, delicious food & ocean views. What more could you want in the Keys? You’ll want for nothing if you come here. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!! 🎉

I was just there a couple hours ago. I had five pounds of fresh fish from a charter trip with TailWalker! A very nice woman talked me outta having all of it made! It would have been a crazy mound of fish! Food was delicious and service was great. If you're in the Keys check them out. You'll enjoy that ocean view too! I hope God's grace is upon you like it has been me this week!

Delicious food, great service! We had the Mahi, and shrimp sandwich and shared a fry. The fries are huge! Also yummy?!! Fried key lime pie?!! What tasty food all around.

Staff were friendly and attentive, bringing our pup a water bowl with our drinks! The fries meet the hype, so tasty. If you’re hesitant, just try them. They had great beer options in can and bottle (featuring many keys based breweries, which is cool to see local) but the biggest downside to this place is not having beer on tap.

We chose this restaurant for our daughter’s 16th birthday and we had an amazing experience. We arrived around 6p and were seated immediately and though the seating is outside, it is covered and cool with a breeze off the water! Our party of 5 got four bacon cheeseburgers (delicious and good size) and my youngest got chicken fingers. We had to try their famous French fries and hush puppies which everyone enjoyed. The service was amazing and the owner was truly invested in making sure we had a great experience. They surprised my daughter with a slice of their Key Lime Pie (made in house) and then their fried key lime pie! We are already planning our next visit before we leave town. Thanks Burdines!

El Meson De Pepe's Restaurant & Bar is a beloved Cuban eatery located in the vibrant Old Town neighborhood of Key West, near Mallory Square. With over 30 years of history, this family-owned establishment is dedicated to preserving the Cuban Conch Heritage. The founder, Pepe Diaz, hails from Yaguajay, Cuba and has crafted a menu featuring authentic Cuban dishes such as roasted pork tostones rellenos and cayo hueso Cuban sandwich.
#80 Combo all the way. You can try some of their top sellers. Yuka, some kind of rice, beens, and 3 kinds of meat. Pro tip # you can use the bread they give you with one of the salsas and throw the meat on it and it is quite delectable! Live music is nice and people dance to it. SHARE a big portion. Also the guacamoli with plantane chips are super good (and add to the bread. Also it is a stones throw from the water! Ervin was an excellent server with how busy they were. Also they have some neat displays inside of wood carvings by mario sanchez. They have information displayed on cuban history and customs.

Cool atmosphere with a lot of character and Cuban vibes. The outdoor seating area is spacious and has a nice setup. The food was okay — not the best I’ve had, but decent. The fried whole fish looked impressive, but the flavor was average. Dessert was also just okay. The biggest issue was the service — it took a long time to get our food, which was frustrating. Overall, worth checking out for the ambiance, but be prepared to wait.

What a fun place!! Great place to enjoy live Cuban music and enjoy the vibe while watching the sunset and eating great apetizers! The Scallops are a must as they are seasoned well with a butter sauce. Planting chips are good and add to the atmosphere. The Shrimp were on a another level and some of the best we had in Key west! Go for the atmosphere and enjoy the food while listening to some great Latin music

At first I was skeptical because of the previous ratings BUT we ordered the # 69 and the relleno appetizer with our mojitos and let me tell you it was delicious. Very busy place! But thankfully, we got seated in no time! Service was fast ...! You get free cuban bread as a starter. Dipping sauce was good. I liked the spicy one better. Entree was of generous servings! The drinks i loved! Not too much alcohol added ... it was just a perfect amount so I have enjoyed both my food and my drink!

The most terrible experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our server Jose was the most disrespectful server I’ve ever encountered. First he took the order for appetizers and after that took forever to come back and get our order for the meal, by the time he came back he had to tells us that they were out of white rice and arroz Moro which is what we planned to order. We didn’t mind and made our order and actually had to go one by one saying what we wanted and substituting the sides for fries. When the food finally arrived it was completely wrong. Basically all the sides were supposed to be fries and 2 of the orders had yellow rice and black beans, which we never would have ordered together and we mentioned that to our server while he took the order. The worst part is that we ordered 3 churrascos and only got one. The server Jose realized the mistake and started blaming us very rudely, saying we should have been paying more attention while ordering which was extremely disrespectful and rude. He started fighting back and forth on how it was not his fault the order was wrong when it was him who should have realized that we were six at the table and he only had 4 orders. After that he never came back to our table until we went up to him to get the bill because all we wanted was to leave. Everybody saw the way he spoke to us because he was very loud, rude and condescending and no manager or anyone intervened. I included pictures of the state of our table when we left. The plates from the appetizers were never picked up and we ordered multiple mojitos and the empty glasses were all there. Also the food was not good at all the black beans we never ordered were grey and and watery. We thought it was a sauce at first. Overall terrible experience, would not recommend and will not be going ever again.

Every dish I tried was top-notch, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a slice of their legendary key lime pie to take back to my room each night for a late snack. Was going to go Outback. Seen this place and stopped because not a brand name place. Seated right away. The waitress didn't come up right away for drinks. Took drink and appetizer order. The appetizer came quickly, no forks or napkins on the table. Had to ask another waiter for these. Main food came, asked for extra butter. Waited more than 5 mins, and had to ask the other waiter again for butter. He responded right away. Looked like a nice place for great seafood. Got a crab combo bucket with the 1/2 Lobster tail. The food was bland tasting like cheap crab boils. Regular butter also. Garlic butter would have made a difference. Should have gone to Red Lobster.

The service was outstanding, staff worked as a team and were a pleasure to talk to. Although its outside there were no peaky flies bothering us so im not even sure how that is possible 😅. Overall great experiences both days I went because the food was so good. I had the yellow and red snapper with fries one day and yellow rice the next day and both options were very tasty!!! Impressed with the quality of food, timeliness of ordering and food to the table and the very kind service! The Avocado toast was fresh avocado sliced with light and flavorful focaccia bread. I requested the eggs be “double” hard boiled and they cooked them to absolute PERFECTION! My husband got the shrimp and grits - as a southern man himself, he loved them and said he “had not had this good of ship and grits in a long time” 🍤 that’s a high mark coming from him! I was oversold this restaurant by alot. We arrived late for our reservation of 8 due to an accident on the road. We called to let them know but apparently we were one of many patrons also late so when we arrived the hostess was cold and irritable. We were seated at a nice table and our server was attentive. We ordered the lamb appetizer which was a hit at the table and also the turtle soup which was not much for flavor or imagination. The table ordered several prime ribs and the accolades from our group were great based mostly on size. The prices definitely reflect that though. I ordered hogfish piccata and honestly, it didn’t taste fresh enough, the piccata sauce was slimy and I scraped it off, the carrots and asparagus had no asparagus and the carrots were cold and hard. Mostly our group was delighted and happy with food, service and atmosphere. I felt it to be classic yet dated, overpriced for the quality but the service made up for most inequities. It was our friend’s 60th and they graciously offered cake with candles made it feel festive. I felt our bill to far exceed the quality and atmosphere but I also appreciated the classic keys experience.

We have wanted to come here (honestly) for thirty years; we pass it every year as we drive up and down US-1. We stopped for dinner yesterday for the first time - it was 100% worth the wait! We had cocktails and appetisers at the bar, and sat in the restaurant for wine and dinner. My wife had (the recommended) pork chop, and I had “Guy’s favourite” meatloaf; both were delicious. Nice atmosphere and great service (thank you, Angela). We won’t wait 30 years for our next visit!

So much so that we back the next morning for breakfast-loved that too! I AM SORRY! I never expected to find top-rated food at a hotel, but Matt’s Stock Island Kitchen and Bar at the Perry Hotel is outstanding. The she crab soup with shrimp fritters was delectable. Ordered cocktails. My coconut mohito had all the rum on the bottom. Ordered soup and fish, she had a wrap. The soup never arrived. Silverware didn't arrive. No side plates to put the now squeezed lemon or the flower. She asked for honey mustard that was heavy on mayo, but no honey. Bartender failed to check on us till the end. Disappointing. I would not return.

A restaurant inside the hotel that is right by the harbor offering lovely key lime food options! I highly recommend their key lime pie and Forbe's mentioned it as 1 of the top 5 places for a pie in Key West. And honestly, it had a macaroni almond crust, delicious filling, and I appreciated the passion fruit coulis with whipped cream. Their entrees and appetizers are on the pricier side but the service is really good.

One of the few good breakfast options without a long wait on Key West. The signage isn’t great so just look for the signs for the Perry Hotel and just go in through the main lobby and it will be right in front of you. The unlimited mimosa/Bloody Mary option at brunch is really nice too if that’s the kind of day you are planning :). Service seemed a little lost but the manager did a good job of picking up slack where needed. My wife enjoyed her Bloody Mary and the rest of our table said the mimosas were good. Their take on poutine had good flavor and was a nice breakfast surprise. The breakfast burger was a bit messy but had good flavor and was cooked well. My wife enjoyed her breakfast chicken sandwich as well. As a bonus it’s inside a beautiful hotel on the water. Overall a good breakfast option on the island just don’t be surprised if the service staff needs some hand holding.

Nice spot with outdoor seating. The food did come out cold but they were happily able to get it back out hot to us. The hours aren’t accurate, as the restaurant closed during the afternoon but didn’t give any indication why and this isn’t reflected on Google. Lots of iguanas were found outside, so keep any eye out, they’re fast!

Mattheessen’s Candy Kitchen is a beloved spot in Key West, known for its delectable Key lime pies and other sweet treats. The family-owned business, which started as a small coffee kiosk in 1993, has now expanded to multiple locations. In addition to their famous half-pound cookies and homemade ice cream, Mattheessen’s offers traditional Key lime pie with a homemade graham cracker crust that perfectly complements the tart filling.
This is the best spot to get sweet treats on Key West. The cookies are what they are known for and for good reason. Just walking by you will see how ginormous they are. The cookies - chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, and peanut butter with chocolate icing with fudge on top are all top notch. I loved them all. They also have great options to choose from of their homemade ice cream or milkshakes. I was very happy with the triple chocolate ice cream and the birthday cake ice cream. Pro tip: they will warm up the cookie if you ask and they also sell to go cups of milk if you need it.

Stopped by for some key lime pie and a cookie. Lots of sweets to choose from! The staff was friendly and there was line inside to wait a few minutes before I could get my sweet fix. Well worth the wait!

We went to 3 ice cream shops in Key West and we can say this is the best!!! Cookie selection was great too and the size of each cookie was huge! ❤️ wish we knew this place sooner ❤️amazing staff too! Drop by and support them!

Mattheessen’s has their own spin on Key West key lime pie, with a fairly thick hand made graham cracker crust, and whipped cream by request. I like a thicker crust, so I enjoyed the flavor fusion of crunch with the creamy smooth tart lime flavor. This place is made for tourists, much like Kermit’s, though has more general dessert options including giant cookies, fudge, and ice cream. Sure to find something sweet for everyone’s taste in the family!

We were walking along Duvall and my daughters noticed these cookies in the window. Wound up getting the chocolate chip macadamia nut. Soooo good!! They gave me a small piece and I wound up eating half of it. LOL! Highly recommended stop!

Key lime pie was good, but ice cream is even better, according to my son, and he loves ice cream. He said it was the best ice cream he had ever eaten. I dont do ice cream, so I dont know. Whether you try pie or ice cream, you won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing. Got a cookie myself and two other people in my group got a key lime pie on a stick and key lime ice cream. Overall really positive. The cookie was great and really flavorful (Peanut butter and chocolate fudge). I was told that the both key lime pie items were pretty good. Overall a really cool place. Definitely worth it. Only reasons it isn’t 5 stars is because it was pretty pricy and there was a lot of sugar in the cookie. Kinda like a crumble cookie but fresher, better flavors, and felt like a little less sugary and buttery.
Jacob D — Google review
Ordered fudge cookie, priced higher than the other cookies, as well as a chocolate chip cookie. As my husband put it, this was beyond the best chocolate chip cookie and worth so much more than those fancy boutique cookies in our local town. So soft in the middle, and it took us three days to finish just one cookie. Will come here when I am craving another cookie in KW.

The Fish House is a renowned dining establishment and seafood market in Key Largo, serving locally caught seafood since 1982. It has been consistently recognized for its exceptional cuisine, including the best key lime pie in Florida. The restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere where guests can enjoy a variety of fish prepared in different styles, such as blackened or jerked.
We were seated right away and the service was really fast. The customers were very loud at the tables but I can’t fault the restaurant for that. We just went diving and we were exhausted and just wanted to eat and go to sleep. We really loved what we ordered. I had yellow tail blackened and there was a lot of food and it was cooked really well. My husband ordered maticumba mahi mahi. He loved it! It almost had an Italian twist with the flavors but it was yummy m. We also ordered the ceviche and the smoked fish dip and for dessert we had the coconut key lime pie. That was really really good.
Tiva L — Google review
Excellent! Exactly what you would expect at a local keys eatery… We stopped for lunch. The atmosphere was crowded and bustling but not unpleasant, the fish was fresh, service was attentive, the fish dip, mussels and snapper were the winners of this lunch but everyone raved about their choices. They also have a fish counter so you can order fish dip or other delights on your way out to take home. We will be back.
Michelle B — Google review
We had an OK experience at The Fish House… lots of glitz and glitter, but we food the food mostly lacking… with a couple of exceptions! We had cocktails (coconut martini and Cadillac margaritas), both good. Appetizers included the crab cake and smoked fish appetizer… crab cake, average, fresh, but we prefer the NE lump crab style. Smoked fish, while unique, we found it underwhelming. Entrees included the fried seafood combo and the matecumbe yellowfin. Most of the fried seafood was old, overcooked. Exception the fried scallops, they were outstanding! Similarly, the yellowfin matecumbe was fantastic. Those two seafoods were exceptional. Desserts included coconut ice cream, frozen ice cube of coconut, and coconut key lime pie. Not sure what was on top of the pie, but the putty, spongy pink topped coconut was weird. A couple of hits, mostly misses. Cannot recommend you visit.

We came from PA and from the moment you walked in until you left staff and food were GREAT! Thank you for making a birthday memorable! We will always stop here and make sure to always get the best key lime pie one can offer!

4 stars instead of 5 because it cost me $37/4 strips of fried fish. Yes...it was delicious and the beans & rive had good flavor Definitely fresh caught snapper was used. The price goes up $9 if you select mangrove snapper over mahi mahi. Loved the decor on the walls. Service was good...it was 11:30 am on a Friday.

We really had one of the best seafood experiences ever at The Fish House. Our son really loved the dish of shrimp and scallop over rice. It’s plate licking good for him. :) The snapper filet was so fresh and delicious, cooked to perfection with tomatoes topping and butter sauce. The grilled whole lobster was juicy and tender we would always remember how good it tasted. All dishes were recommended by the waiter instead of picking them out from a busy menu. Highly recommend!

I’m usually not one to leave reviews but this place deserves the time for one. This was my second time to the Florida keys for a fishing trip and we decided to try this place out by the awesome reviews they have. We first came here to eat on Friday night we got a ton of apps that all came out fast and hot and were all incredible. I got the mahi sandwich platter that was amazing and the rest of the table got the seared tuna meal which was a very large portion perfectly cooked and delicious. We were so impressed by the meal and the top notch service we decided to have it again Saturday night before we left town Sunday. We all got different meals which were of course all amazing as well. I ordered the shrimp scampi linguini after seeing it on a table next to me and let me tell you that was the best pasta meal I have ever had in my life. The sauce tasted homemade and the flavor was perfect and of course a large portion. The service side of things was also incredible. From the second we sat down both times drink orders were taken and on the table within minutes. The timely manner of every server encounter was timed perfectly and also attention to detail was spot on with orders and refills. I will forever eat at this place any time I’m in town.

Absolutely delicious meal! Top 3 seafood experiences I've ever had eating seafood coast to coast. The fish was fresh, amazingly seasoned (blackened) swordfish and shrimp. The Scallops were hands down the best I've ever eaten, so tender and buttery it's worth a visit back from where ever you live! Tried the crab cake and crab stuffed mushrooms, both fantastic! Got the recommendation from the tour guide on our airboat tour and can't thank them enough! Service was on point too! If you're in the FL Keys, make a stop by for the best and fresheat Seafood around!

Hogfish Bar & Grill is a lively seafood eatery located on Stock Island, just before Key West. It's known for its namesake hogfish sandwich, a Florida Keys delicacy that's relatively obscure in other parts of the U.S. The hogfish is a mild, delicate fish with a sweet flavor and flaky texture.
Absolutely cool shack serving great tasting food of all sorts, but with a focus on fresh fish. Had snapper with blackened shrimp, lobster, saffron flavoured cream sauce with rice, green beans and carrots. The fish was beautifully cooked. Daughter had fried calamari - fresh, delicious. Other daughter had the Vandenburger- also delicious. Key lime pie was not as good as my own. And I say that as a Brit! Server was very kind, attentive and polite- thank you.

Well, it's the place to go, so we went. Pretty common food joint in my opinion but others seem to love it. I don't personally like seafood, so that may have something to do with it. It was hot as Hades when we were there but there were plenty of fans going. Food was good and reasonably fair priced. Sunset was amazing from this viewpoint also. Good variety of food to choose from.
Jeffrey L — Google review
Great food, not so great service. We had the Stock Island Mixed Grill and the Shrimp Tacos, both were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The place has a great local vibe and feels very authentic to the Keys. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the food. We were a large group and asked from the start if we could have separate checks. The waitress said they couldn’t split them but that we could each pay our part at the end. When the check came, it was all together, and we ended up having to split everything ourselves, not ideal after a big meal and a few beers. We totally understand that some restaurants don’t split checks, but usually they at least help process payments individually on the device, which makes it much easier for big groups. A little help from the waitress would have made a big difference.

We loved this restaurant. It looked at bit sketchy going to it but once you get there you will feel safe. The food was fantastic. The waitress was great at keeping us full with drinks. Nice view of the water. Music playing.

Al little off the beaten path but worth the effort ,mostly locals go here. The food is very good . We had conch chowder and hogfish sandwiches. The hog fish has a buttery taste and flaky texture. Bahamian chowder was thick like chili and good.

We did a pickup order from here and it was ready on time with all necessities to enjoy our meal. We really enjoyed the rice & beans. Lobster Mac was ok. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the sandwich because we left it out too long and wasn’t sure if it spoiled.

So on a recommendation we went in search of Hogfish Bar & Grill. It took a Google Maps search to find it, but we did. It was worth the search. We began with their Lobster Bisque. It was the best we have had... maybe ever. Full of lobster pieces and chunks, a mild favor of dry sherry, and not over powered by tomato paste. It was absolutely delightful. We, my lovely wife and I highly recommend it. And the bowl is enough for a couple to share as an appetizer or to feed a hungry sailor. Next, my wife chose the shrimp and chips basket. It came with only 6 shrimp, but they were not just large, but really big. A light crispy fried coating. The shrimp were plump and juicy. Perfectly cooked with a basket of fries, a cup of slaw and cocktail sauce. The shrimp were fresh and delicious. And the six were enough for a meal. The fries were crispy and the slaw were good. But the shrimp was amazingly delicious. I chose the special; the whole Florida Lobster stuffed with Lump Crab Meat. It was served with rice, a cream sauce for the rice, and the chef's steamed vegetables. This was beyond delicious. It was probably a 1 or 2 lb spiny lobster, cooked perfectly and stuffed with lump crab meat with out peppers, onions, unnecessary breadcrumbs, but hust lots of crab with some butter and a little Panco and nothing else. It was unforgettable. Served with melted butter which it really didn't need. The lobster was sweet and naturally buttery. Cooked perfectly. The rice with cream sauce was a perfect compliment with the steam veggies. We chose to eat by the water on the deck, which only added to the ambiance. This place, this food is worth the search. We have eaten in many of the Keys eateries, but Hogfish is the best.

Nice ambience with live music. Service was quick and friendly. Food came out fast too. Started with Lobster Bisque and Conch Soup. My whole Fish was great! Hogfish stuffed with Crab Meat with Cream Sauce was nice. Yellow rice and Beans taste good. A must stop for perfectly cooked fresh Fish in the island!

Pepe's Cafe is a historic restaurant in the Florida Keys, dating back to 1909. Originally a Cuban grocery that also sold alcohol and featured live music, it has evolved into a popular spot for signature breakfasts and surf 'n' turf dishes. The laid-back vibes and rustic charm make it a local favorite for hearty meals any time of day.
This is an old establishment. I sat on the outside deck with a fan about me to keep me cool. I chose a bacon cheeseburger with coleslaw. That was absolutely delicious. I asked the manager, Jessica, to be honest with me and recommend best place for key lime pie in Key West and she told me that Pepe's was in the top three and maybe the best. The best. She comped me my first ever piece of key lime pie. It was absolutely delicious. The cinnamon crust the condensed milk in the pie made it very rich and very tasty. I now have a benchmark for all future key lime pies. This was a welcomed Oasis on a hot day. The chickens were cute too

What a fun cafe! We enjoyed breakfast with biscuit and gravy with scrambled eggs added. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and everything you expect them to be! In addition to that we got the French toast special which has a strawberry sauce. While I loved the French toast, I was not a fan of the sauce. I will try the eggs Benedict next time.

What a hidden gem! This rustic, slightly divey spot has so much charm and character. The food portions are huge and absolutely delicious — every bite felt homemade with love. And the key lime pie? Hands down the best I have ever tasted — creamy, tangy, and unforgettable. Definitely a must-visit!

Our first stop in Key West was Pepe's Cafe. We had chosen our destination well in advance... and we weren't disappointed. The service was very friendly and professional. We were served delicious coffee and a great American-style breakfast. The place itself has a unique atmosphere and a strong sense of time, as evidenced by the photos of its guests hanging around it... including Ernest Hemingway. It's worth a visit for a coffee and a trip back in time.

This is an iconic place as this is the oldest restaurant in key west. However, it is not for me. The sandwiches werent as tasty and I even ordered the special of the day. I think what affected my rating too is because I had set a very high expectation on this place.
Pnuqsb — Google review
If you look at this place from a certain angle, while trying to avoid the Gulf Coast sun from blinding you, it almost looks like it is closed. It wasn't until we got really close to it that we realized that it was fully functional. As we got closer, a friendly voice welcomed us in and directed us to the bar. Once we got there, Katie Mae simply knocked our socks off with her sense of humor, conversation, and knowledge of the island. Of course we ordered the $1.75 oysters and my friend ordered what's considered the best Mojito in town. My beers were cold and frequent. We truly enjoyed our two visits to Pepe's during our Key West adventure.

Out of the 6 dinners we had in KW, Pepes was our clear favorite. Unpretentious, friendly, quick, fresh and fish so tasty we're still talking about it. We sat at one of the hightops in the bar area. Luke ran the section and we followed all of his great recommendations; pepes style snapper and blackened snapper with a slab of keylime pie that was supposed to be eaten in the morning. The pie didnt survive the short walk back to the hotel. Its with good reason this place has been around longer than any restaurant in Key West. EAT HERE!

Definitely make reservation if you want to have a better chance at having seating with shade, lesson learned. Very beautiful atmosphere and relaxing. Had a table right next to the water. Our waitress was perfect. Very attentive but not overly attentive. The food was really good, only downside it did taste like there was a little too much salt for us, but it could just be a preference thing. Overall, great place and would definitely suggest this place to others to try out.

What a beautiful, relaxing, "Keysey" restaurant and tiki bar! A must visit! I was here to be DJ&MC for a destination wedding in Islamorada at the southern end of the property, which is a beautiful location for weddings & events, and I arrived early as I always do. I had lunch here. What I enjoyed most was the atmosphere, layout of the restaurant, views, vibe, etc. It was a Saturday, and there was also an enjoyable solo guitarist, Billy D, playing relaxing, soft rock throwbacks during lunch on a Saturday. The food was good, but service could've been much better and more attentive. Sometimes laid-back restaurants like this have similar issues. Still, I'd highly recommend you visit, and I'll definitely be back. It's a great not to be missed experience overall!

We enjoyed a perfect sunset at this restaurant. Our dinner was wonderful. We started with the crab cake. Our table had the pasta florentine, which was delicious with rich flavor, The snapper curry which was full of flavor and texture as well as the catch of the day the hogfish which was coconut encrusted. Dinner and service and ambiance were wonderful. Gift shop and experience with the manager was terrible, which ended up completely ruining our experience here. first we had to track someone down to even check us out. We picked out a simple 100% cotton t shirt and was charged $69 when the sign clearly stated $35. We were able to get a refund but the management was not apologetic about the price or could even tell us what the actual price of the t shirt was. In my experience in the retail and restaurant industry, standard practice would be to offer your guest the shirt for the price listed on the sign. Another great practice would be to clearly mark or tell the total before charging a customer. I was absolutely shocked and stunned at the price. Apparently it is a new item and the manager isn’t even clear on what the price should be. I won’t be coming back due to this and the attitude of the manager and hostess. The hostess whom I noticed earlier when I went to the restroom was sitting on the stool by the front watching videos with sound on. Please do not sell items in your gift shop if you can’t tell your customer the price. To put in perspective the sign also stated a long sleeve hooded tshirt was $65 so having a short sleeve tshirt this price makes zero logical sense!

Best meal of our whole US-trip! At first my daughter was a bit sceptical due to the relatively low 4.2 star average but I insisted on the sea views and boy, did they deliver above and beyond! The food was absolutely delicious, rich in flavors, taste composure on point, the vegetarian sushi rolls brought a super interesting mushroom variation and the peal&eat shrimp was perfect 👌 all together really, REALLY excellent! Sitting right on the beach was perfect, live music played when we arrived and our waiter Rolando was present at the perfect time, thank you to the whole Marker 88 team, this is what hospitality should be like! When next in Florida, I will go to the Keys just to return here!

We sat outside and the view was beautiful — ocean breeze, boats passing by, and a peaceful atmosphere 🌊🛥. The setting really is the highlight of this place. Unfortunately, the food and presentation didn’t live up to it: The steamed broccoli 🥦- no words (see photo). The fries 🍟 were soggy. My husband ordered them with his burger, which he said wasn't bad. They were definitely not the crispy kind you’d expect from a place like this. The club soda outside was flat when served, but our server kindly replaced it with a fresh one from inside, which my husband appreciated. The salted caramel cheesecake wasn’t a hit — it had a strange aftertaste, (that is my opinion, my husband said it wasn't bad) and the presentation didn’t help. The plate looked heavily scratched and more like a used cutting board than a dessert dish (photo included). Service was polite (3.5)and the location is great, but the kitchen and plating need more care to match the setting.

I went there for breakfast with my fiancé and our server Nelly was great. She suggested a couple popular items & we ordered biscuits & gravy, shrimp & grits & the key lime pancakes. The portions were nice & generous for the price & the view was amazing. The food came out quick & hot & perfect to taste. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly as well. They all greeted me as I made my way to use the restroom. I will definitely recommend this spot to my friends as it checked all the boxes for a great experience.

This place was such a good spot for a date night. I had the chicken Parmesan which didn’t disappoint. My husband had the burger which he really enjoyed. I also got a mojito with the special coconut rum from the Keyes. It was so good one of the best mixed drinks I’ve ever had. The waitress was so sweet and even took pictures of us on the dock while the sun was setting. They have lights in the water so you can watch the fish at night and they had live music too. All around a fantastic experience. Thank you so much!

A+ from server Dillion, food and drinks, to the beautiful sunset! His recommendations were on point! Best calamari we’ve EVER had, absolutely cooked perfectly melt in your month! The lobster & shrimp bite are prepared to order so very fresh. Great dipping sauces. Our fish dishes were cooked great. Don’t pass on the Hogfish! Coconut Mojito was delightfully different! Just a bit too much ice in the sangria- only downfall as it melted it watered down the taste, but it’s hot out so it was cold! Oh, and the little warm banana breads at the start are so good! Another server pitched in and brought us some right out of the oven. Top notch crew! Took the key lime pie home and it was very good (meringue-topped)!

We had an amazing experience! Wonderful sunset, live music, atmosphere and the scallops were cooked to perfection. Though the real treat was Jorge and the wonderful service that we received. We will make sure to come back because of the tremendously attentive service that Jorge provided. You have gained future customers. I would 100% recommend this venue.

The Cafe is a vibrant and colorful eatery located in Key West, offering a diverse menu that caters to various dietary preferences. The cafe is adorned with local artwork and features a corrugated-tin-fronted counter, creating a trendy and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or have specific food allergies, The Cafe has something for everyone.
The owners/hosts of The Cafe are some of the warmest persons I have come across. Our group had visited twice during the week of July 4th. There are plenty of different dishes to choose from and they are able to adjust for dietary restrictions as needed. The food was freshly made and very satisfying. The juices and coffees were brilliant as well. We were so full from the main course that we could not taste the desserts. To the owners and the chef, thank you for the memorable experience and brilliant food!!

Lots of interesting dishes especially if you are vegan. I only had the opportunity to try the vegan key lime pie, as the night we planned to have dinner here it was pouring rain. The key lime was ok - I’ve had better dairy free pie before. It wasn’t creamy enough -very solid. And no gluten free crust which would have made a big difference. The service was wonderful, very friendly. The inside was beautifully decorated. But as in most key west restaurants, no a/c, at least not turned on. It’s often so hot in the key west restaurants. I would recommend though. Wish I could have tried more things!

A gem for vegetarian eats in Key West! The kale caesar is next-level—crisp, flavorful, and totally crave-worthy. Their noodle bowls are just beyond, fresh-pressed juices are pure sunshine, and the ordering process is a breeze with quick, seamless pickup. Every visit feels like a little burst of joy—always fresh, always delightful. We live in the middle keys and it's always on the schedule when we are in KW- My son says "the waffles here are better than lego-land"....that's a big deal! Cheers to your 3 fabulous years and lots more to come.

Vegan options! WOW the food is really tasty. They have lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options including desserts! We went for lunch. I had the "Chicken" salad sandwich with the bean salad - both were delicious! My husband had the Ceasar Kale salad which was a generous portion. I got the Fresh limeade (also very good). I saw they have breakfast/brunch options too so will definitely be back!

Great choice for vegetarians and vegans! Delicious food that was very filling. My entire family was able to eat without having to worry about the ingredients! We had the quesadilla with vegan cheese and sour cream (super rare for restaurants to offer vegan options like that!), the grande burrito, BBQ un-wing dings (super crispy), and more. Amazing service as well, was checked on plenty but not intruded! Would highly recommend!

Delicious vegetarian spot in Key West! Stopped by The Café and loved everything we ordered — the polenta sticks were perfectly crispy, the spinach quesadillas were flavorful and satisfying, and the truffle fries were absolutely addictive. Located on Whitehead Street in Key West, Moondog Cafe is a charming garden cottage that offers separate menus for breakfast or lunch & dinner, as well as drinks. The pastel-hued cafe and bakery is known for its delicious baked goods and healthy options, making it a popular spot for breakfast.
Moondog Café is an absolute must-visit in Key West! The breakfast skillet was out of this world—fresh veggies, savory sausage, crispy potatoes, and perfectly cooked sunny-side-up eggs. The peach Bellini was perfectly crafted, and the key lime sangria paired beautifully with their famous Mile High Key Lime Pie. The meringue on top was the perfect balance to the tartness of the key lime—pure perfection. We sat at the bar and got to watch the team make all their pastries and desserts from scratch—such a cool experience! This place is incredible. We’ll definitely be back!

What a great place to eat. We did have to wait because it was Saturday lunch but it was totally worth it. All thr food was delicious. We ordered a lot. I would suggest all of the bakery items. We ordered 10 of them. I had the BLAT and we got the Benedict special. Everything was served and plated beautifully. I would come back here and eat the other half of the menu.

This place is so fun and unique! I had the buttermilk pancakes with berries and the Moondog Classic. The Berry Tart was delicious and the Key Lime Pie was also tasty. The Lavender Vanilla iced latte is fantastic but the lavender flavor is strong. I also had the Caramel Vanilla iced latte and it was amazing! Our server was Arai and she was very sweet! FYI, they do not have straws in order to protect the turtles :)

Unforgettable Food and a Fantastic Host! We visited Moondog Café in Key West — and it was an absolute highlight of our trip! The burger was hands down the best we’ve ever had — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. And the lemon pie? An absolute dream! Sweet, fresh, tangy — it doesn’t get any better. A special shout-out to Shawn, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He even told us he likes German singers — such a lovely personal touch. Super friendly and made us feel right at home! Highly recommend this place — we’ll definitely be back!

It is my pleasure to recommend stopping in this neat cafe and bakery. The server, Danielle, was such a welcoming person. We went at happy hour and mainly went for the dessert! I wanted to try their unique Key Lime Pie and it did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the pot stickers. I feel confident to say this spot is Very Good! The atmosphere was inviting and it was time well spent. There is indoor and outdoor seating .Enjoy!

Stopped here to meet a friend in on a cruise ship. We picked it because it was close to Hemingway House. We will be back because of the food, service, and price! Everything was excellent! Several people had breakfast and others had lunch. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the salad was huge, and the burger was flavorful and juicy!

We decided on Moondog Cafe for our breakfast while docked in Key West for the day. We are happy with our decision. Key West has so many great places to eat and Moondog came highly recommended after doing some research. We got off the ship early and walked straight there because I did see that it can get very crowded. We got to the front door about 8 am and wasn’t crowded yet fortunately. We were seated at a nice cozy table for my wife and I right by the window. Service was very good. Food was wonderful. There is a large mural painted on the wall that is very unique. I highly recommend Moondog Cafe if you’re in Key West.

My family wanted to try a new breakfast place in Key West and the Moondog Cafe did not disappoint. All of the food was exceptional and the staff did an excellent job with service. My mom had the blacked local ahi tacos and she said that they were the best she has ever had outside of Mexico. I had a steak and eggs with chimichurri and it was delicious 😋, especially with sunny side up eggs. The fresh squeezed orange juice was exceptional and it was the best I ever had.

We visited Key Largo for a week and this was the best food we had the entire time! Their gumbo is absolutely delicious, my husband loved the fried snapper, and my crab legs were yummy too. Our server was so nice, the environment was relaxed. Highly recommend this place!
Ashley P — Google review
First off, the best server ever was awarded to Ronnie! Without him, this would have been a completely different experience. The sangria was nice but would have been nicer with more fruit. Great warm bread and jalepeno jelly! My Mahi skillet was delicious, and my wife loved the fried green tomato and shrimp! The key lime pie was very good, too. Nice laid-back vibe. We ate outside and enjoyed the weather!

First visit and it was fantastic! The grilled avocado and buffalo shrimp appetizers were both delicious. We did the hook and cook. Had it prepared macadamia crusted, cast iron and Hemingway. All were so good. Ronnie provided the best service. We will definitely return

Absolutely splendid seafood. Very busy when we went, but the server was diligent and got our daughter a nice colouring mat immediately. We had seafood, ofc, and it was absolutely recommended if you're on Key Largo. It's in the median of Highway One, so whether you're coming or going it's easy access. Must have it.

Must try!! We ate here at the recommendation of our resort gal, who told us all their seafood is caught locally, and it did not disappoint!! We highly recommend the Ballyhoo’s Fish & Fried Tomato Sandwich with blackened mahi & sweet potato fries! 🤩 It was so so so good! So were the free breads (pretzel bread and some sort of garlic bread). For dessert, the mile high peanut butter pie is a-mazing 😋 and the key lime pie is really good too. Apparently it won #1 key lime pie in a local competition between restaurants. Our server Maddy was great too. We want to come back, which is saying a lot since we are only here a few days!

Amazing seafood pasta in key lime sauce! We enjoyed eating in the outdoor seating section at sunset. Mussels and shrimp are delicious! Key lime pie is delicious! Chef Sal is very talented. This place is a hidden gem!

We had an amazing lunch at Sal’s Ballyhoo’s! We ordered the Captain’s Platter, which was more than enough for two people, and everything was cooked to perfection—from the scallops to the fries. We’re visiting from Tennessee on a birthday trip for my boyfriend (who’s not usually a big seafood fan), and even he loved the crab stuffing! Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. 10/10 would recommend stopping here if you’re in the Keys. We will absolutely be back next time we’re in town!

What a wonderful place! Glad we found them for lunch on the way to Key West. Great comfortable atmosphere on covered outdoor patio. We started with the bacon wrapped dates… very good, I had the caprese salad with blackened shrimp… absolutely delicious. Hubby had the Cuban Reuben … he said it was very good with just the right amount of thousand island and sauerkraut. All staff were extremely friendly and helped each other out at all times.

Stopped by this place on the way home to Delray. Enjoyed the dishes. The bill came to $50 without drinks. Took off one star for the long wait for two extra pieces of bread I requested—they brought them after 15-20 minutes when I had already finished my meal. However, they did remove them from my bill.

The family and I stopped here on the way to Key West during "Reggae Sunday." Loved the atmosphere and the people working there. I ordered the "catch of the day" fish sandwich, which was Cobia. I ordered it blackened. It was fantastic. Also, some of the best French Fries I had in the whole trip.

The food was great. I had the burger and my wife had the shrimp basket. Although more shrimp would have been nice for $18. It felt like there was only 6 shrimp total. I also had the Key lime pie, which was good. The food was fresh and the service was overall good. Definitely a good place to stop on the way to Key West.

We stopped by Mangrove Mama’s during our trip—cute spot with a laid-back vibe. The menu features an extensive selection of brunch items such as benedicts, croque monsieur, brioche French toast, and quiches with fresh salads. Hands down the best little restaurant and bakery that I’ve stumbled across while visiting Key West. The atmosphere is laid back and upbeat. The baked goods are delicious and unique, and the breakfast food is AMAZING. The salmon eggs Benedict was literally the best egg Benedict I’ve ever had. We liked this place so much that we came back three times on one vacation. It’s definitely on the list of places to visit every trip down here.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience here. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was top notch. The house quiche and lobster Benedict were both outstanding. The view of Duval St was enjoyable while sipping mimosas. Highly recommended and we will be back.
John C — Google review
Walking in you immediately understand that everything done there is done properly, and with care. That sounds funny talking about food, but baked goods are topped perfectly, bread is baked to perfection and while the restaurant was definitely busy, the staff is working tirelessly to turn tables over, to get new customers seated. Not just the “staff”, the OWNER! I told him that if the owner is willing to bus his own tables, that is a formula for success, especially in a place like Key West. Now for the food! Just as I saw in when I walked in, everything that arrived on our plates was fresh and delicious. My kids raved about the bacon, and it is served as half sized. Mini bacon strips! Who knew a tiny little change would be such a hit? The eggs Benedict is light and tangy and the waffle comes with a giant dollop of whipped cream. The tables are situated so that even with the small space, you don’t feel cramped. Prices were not ridiculous, but the food and service would have been worth the price, even if they were. Upper area of Duval is a nice change of pace from the downtown vibes.
Deric P — Google review
La Grignote is a simple and cozy café in Key West, with a laid-back, beach-style vibe, wooden tables, colorful dishes, and a relaxed atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the service: all the staff were super friendly and attentive from start to finish. I chose to sit outside, which was very pleasant. Inside, there's a big display case with lots of tempting sweets, croissants, and other baked goods. I ordered a Croque Madame with 2 poached eggs on top. The portion was huge, and it ended up being too heavy for breakfast. It had a lot of béchamel sauce, which made the flavor kind of repetitive and overwhelming. Wasn't that good to be honest and I couldn't finish it. It came with a small bowl of fruit on the side. My boyfriend ordered a croissant with egg and bacon, and that was excellent! The pastry was light, flaky, and crispy on the outside. The only downside was the sausage that came on the side: fried and very greasy. Overall, it was a good experience. The food had its ups and downs, so it's worth choosing your dish carefully, but the great service and welcoming, no-frills environment made up for it. I give it 4 stars.

Super cute spot. You can see them baking their own key lime pies which is pretty cool. Their key lime pie is tart, seems more "lime-ee" than the others I tried so if you prefer tartness, this is your place. Their coconut key lime pie was soooo good! Recommend it.

We ordered a key lime pie so everyone in our group could try it. The cashiers we're very nice to give us small plates, napkins, and forks. We sat in the store and ate our pie in a cool environment. Key Lime pie isn't for everyone. Its tart and rich and the "lime" comes through. Many of us enjoyed a slice and others tried a bite and that's all they could do. To each his own. This small bakery also has a small attached gift shop with many great options.

Key Lime Pie Bakery in Key West is a great stop for anyone wanting to try the city’s signature dessert. The pies are creamy, tangy, and have that perfect balance of sweetness with the tart lime flavor. They also offer other treats and products to take home, making it a nice spot for both tasting and shopping. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is friendly, which adds to the experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re exploring Key West and want to enjoy an authentic slice of key lime pie.

I had high expectations for this iconic Key West spot, especially for my first Key Lime Pie experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The Key Lime Pie was nothing special—I was expecting something fresher and more vibrant. The Coconut Cream Pie was even more disappointing. It was mostly whipped cream, with only a sprinkle of coconut on top. Honestly, I could’ve found a similar slice at a grocery store for half the price. Overall, the food just didn’t deliver. I was hoping for something memorable, but it fell short.

Is this the original? There's some debate. But! It is fantastic. I loved their coconut key lime pie. I will be craving it for years to come. The shop offers all kinds of key lime treats if pie isn’t your thing. I wish there was more seating, but hey, that's a really small complaint.

A must try Keys Lime Pie!!! 🥧 This version is delicious. The best I've tried so far. A balanced amount of sugar and the pleasant sour lime taste. Staff is nice and prices are average. The bakery sells many unthinkable products with Key Lime Pie flavor. 🤔 For the joy of tourists!!! This is such a great place and a must try if you’re anywhere in Key West! The service is outstanding!!! The food is absolutely phenomenal! The sushi rolls are fresh and large. Totally worth every penny. We had leftovers we had to wrap up to go. My husband & I ate there for lunch. Great views from the second floor deck. The menu will have choices for anyone’s taste or cravings. We both had a bowl of the miso soup. The BEST! The seaweed salad and house salads were also so good and refreshing. My husband’s favorite is the crab rangoon and the spring rolls were light and stuffed with veggies. We also tried the lobster roll and tuna roll. I can’t even explain how great this place is!! Just go!!

Great service! It was hot and muggy so we ate inside. Outside they only had one fan not worth the view of the marina. I got the shrimp pad Thai no spice. It was very sweet and the cabbage wasn’t cooked into the food. It was raw and on the side. The spring rolls were delicious & I ordered the peanut sauce to go with it. Husband ordered chicken fried rice; he said it was fine. We won’t be returning not with the $61 ticket price. They charged us $4 for a bottled water as well.

The table was dirty, sticky and when I asked to clean it she didn’t like it. Robbie's of Islamorada is a renowned marina that offers a variety of activities for visitors. It is famous for the opportunity to feed tarpon, which are surprisingly large fish, and has become a popular tourist attraction. In addition to tarpon feeding, the marina features an open-air marketplace, jet ski rentals, boat cruises, and a waterfront restaurant. The area also has an interesting backstory about Scarface that locals can share with visitors.
Robbie’s is my favorite place to go! They have the best gift shop, nice employees, and the most delicious coffee from the coffee truck. Feeding the Tarpon is the most fun experience. It’s something you can only do at a few places and it’s a such a unique encounter. Makes for great photos. Their bathroom is also one of the most well kept restrooms in any vacation spot. They also have lots of boating and adventure experiences available. Canoeing through the mangroves is one of my favorites.

What an awesome experience! Just the grounds alone are so cool and full of fun little photo ops, it has a very chill island vibe feel. Feeding the tarpon was a cool experience as well, earlier in the day there were even nurse sharks near the dock. The restaurant was perfect! We got to sit right next to the water and the locals even shared some of their knowledge with us. Our waiters name was Chris (I believe, if I’m wrong I apologize) and he was top notch! Just one of the coolest nicest guys around. He recommended dishes for us and made sure we were very well taken care of. There were some mosquitoes and noseeum’s out and he even offered us some bug spray. Our food was beyond phenomenal, I can’t say enough about it. We had everything from shrimp, to local caught fish, to chicken and it was all perfection. The young girl in the shop was so sweet and even introduced us to the manager (a cat). Everything about this place was just perfect. We will definitely be back everytime we’re in the area!

Great stop in Islamorada! Can grab a beer and feed the tarpon which are huge! Very exciting for all ages. Entry is cheap and fully worth it. Also little shops and just great vibes all around. A must see! Went end of October so it was not busy at all.
Dawn D — Google review
Really cool stop along the highway to get out and eat, rest your feet, and see some cool stuff. Feeding the sharks was a really cool experience. You can buy a bucket of fish and it might seem gimmicky on the website, but I did find it worth it. Especially if you have kids, it’s a great interactive experience and memory. There are tons of shops and ice cream trucks and a restaurant if you’re looking for food or just a change of scenery and some shade.

Robbie’s is a must-stop in the Keys if you’re looking for adventure and a true local vibe. Feeding the giant tarpon is the highlight—an experience you won’t forget. They leap right out of the water and it’s exciting for both kids and adults. Beyond that, you can rent kayaks, go on snorkeling or fishing trips, or just enjoy the waterfront views. The place also has small shops and stalls around, which makes it fun to walk around, grab a souvenir, or pick up something local. The on-site restaurant and bar are lively, serving good food and drinks with a laid-back Keys atmosphere. It can get busy, but that’s part of the charm. Overall, Robbie’s is more than just a stop—it’s a full experience with activities, food, shopping, and views all in one spot.
Rohit P — Google review
Popped in as had seen good reviews. Didn’t disappoint. Glad we stopped, lovely few market stalls / shops to look around then paid to see tarpons being fed and pelicans stealing the fish. Didn’t eat here but food smelled lovely.
Lorraine L — Google review
So I have to say feeding the tarpon at Robbie‘s was absolutely an amazing experience. The food was good but Taste like every other restaurant nothing stood out to be oh I go back for this food I would definitely go back to feed the tarpon to take friends to see it and the little shops they have out. Front of the restaurant are really awesome. Just the whole experience in general was absolutely amazing but I wouldn’t tell you to just stop there for the food, but definitely go check out the tarpon you’ll have a blast.
Ghost — Google review
This was recommended to us by one of the locals. It was absolutely brilliant and I totally recommend. You buy a bucket of fish for $5 and you can feed the tarpon. Great fun. You can stop for food, drink, browse shops. A definite tourist stop recommendation

Hawks Cay Resort, situated in Duck Key, Florida, offers a variety of accommodation options including relaxed rooms and villas within a sprawling resort. The resort features beach access, 5 pools, a spa, and a marina. Additionally, it provides an array of dining options such as the Hideaway Cafe for breakfast and poolside tropical food and drinks.
We checked in today and we are already feeling better and it’s like a home and we went to Tiki Bar and met Jacob our bartender. He is an amazing bartender super knowledgeable person. We loved all his specials but his mojitos were fantastic and also other bartender Pierre was amazing too.

SMOKING! I would’ve loved to give this place a better review, but we stayed by people that constantly smoked cigarettes and it ruined our stay. It is a smoking resort in designated areas, definitely not in the area we were in though! We were told to “take pictures and videos” of the people doing it. WHAT? So we did. Nothing happened. Then we were told it was a private condo… which you still can’t smoke at. We stayed 5 days and every day we told management. Could’ve been quickly taken care of, but never was. We had young children with us that hated the smell, kept coughing, and we couldn’t even go outside on our balcony to enjoy our (very expensive) view! You can also smell the smoke around the pool areas as well because there are smoking areas close by. If you don’t want to be around smoking- DO NOT go here!
Holly L — Google review
Eh. The resort itself is decent, good for kids, but the service was pretty horrible, which for the price of everything you’d expect better. We requested a crib to the room - never came. Requested towels - never came. We asked for house keeping to come, was told you have to request 24 hours in advance? Have never heard of that at all resort…. No in room food service. The tiki grill closes at 5, so your only two options for dinner are two VERY expensive restaurants, and the food is not good. Getting service at the cafe takes forever. When you order food at any of the restaurants, it takes FOREVER. The room (a basic king) was fine, the pool area and lagoon was nice, it’s so cool to be able to visit the pod of dolphins that live on property. The kids splash pad area is extremely outdated, the swings were broken, many of the jets on the splash pad were broken. You’re about 20 minutes away from any grocery stores or other restaurants, and the two restaurants on property open for dinner are incredibly expensive for not so good food or service, so the location was a negative for me. I much prefer Islamorada or even key largo. There is also a 200$ a night security deposit? I’ve never experienced that when staying at a resort. My family and I won’t be coming again.

This was our first time visiting for a conference and we were very disappointed. For the price, we expected better. The grounds themselves were gorgeous with wonderful views, but the remainder of the stay was a disappointment. - Room needed desperate TLC. The AC was either on or off, so one of us had to get up during the night to turn on or off the AC. There was no “auto” setting. - Housekeeping staff was very noisy during our stay and frequently left out a dirty towel hamper directly outside of our room each night. - There was a dead pigeon on the grass just outside the main entrance all week, we saw multiple maintenance staff walk right past it, so no attention to detail. - Parking was horrendous. Each night we had to make up a spot because the regular spots were full. Meanwhile the huge valet lot right up front was mainly empty and unused during the stay. We were so excited about this resort but left disappointed. Seems like attention to detail would go far here and make huge strides in a better direction.

The grounds itself is fantastic. The pool is awesome, the lagoon is awesome. The staff was inconsistent. Most of the interactions I had were very plesent but there were a couple unpleasant ones. The food isn't great. We ate at both restaurants and was not impressed with either. The place is a lot of fun though. It was pretty empty when we went but I'm sure it gets lovely when it fills up
Carl P — Google review
First, do not get the Family “oasis” room, your view is literally garbage dumpsters and storage rooms. Second it’s hit or miss with decent AC, seems like it’s a common theme here to have good or bad AC with guests. Water in main building was warm not hot for first day. We switched room and paid for an upgraded villa. It was convenient because it was near the second pool. Unfortunately getting pool towels is impossible over there, and getting ahold of anyone from staff to get towels from is even more impossible. Floors in villa were filthy, made our feet as black as the mold in the showers. Prices are a rip off, I get it’s a resort, but after staying in several better resorts, these are the worst. Don’t eat at the on site restaurants unless you want to get ripped off. There are a lot of nearby restaurants that are cheaper. I recommend Ziggy & Mad Dogs if you want a good steak. On the positive side the main pool area was good, had a DJ everyday, pool was warm, servers were friendly and attentive. But we will definitely not return here, it’s worth checking out others resorts in the keys.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Hawks Cay Resort. Right from check-in, it became clear that good customer service is no longer a priority here. The manager, Ninaska, was shockingly rude to two customers ahead of us in line, which immediately set the wrong tone. My past experiences at this resort were far better, but unfortunately, it’s gone downhill and lost the value it once had. Our room conditions were unacceptable. We found roaches, and when I asked specifically for the room to be cleaned, no one ever came. It actually took two full days—and repeated requests—before housekeeping finally showed up, six hours after the third request. For a resort of this price, that is beyond unacceptable. The food was another major disappointment. They overcharge for meals only to serve food that was overcooked and stale. Spending over $1,000 here felt like a complete waste given the poor conditions. The beach chairs were broken, and even the room furniture was dirty and damaged. Overall, Hawks Cay has truly lost its quality and charm. What once felt like a relaxing, upscale escape has become a frustrating, overpriced disappointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

came to Hawk’s Cay for a couple days for a birthday getaway and we were treated great the entire time! The front desk staff was very helpful and kind, and the wait staff and bartenders as well. Jacob at the poolside tiki bar helped us celebrate. The dolphin connection experience was also so informative and fun. Can’t wait to come back :)

Turtle Kraals is a popular spot located on the historic waterfront of Margaret Street in Key West. It was previously a turtle cannery and now offers an open-air layout with waterfront views, making it an ideal place to enjoy drinks and oysters while taking in the beautiful scenery. The restaurant also hosts Friday turtle races, adding to its lively atmosphere. Visitors can savor unique dishes like ceviche made with fresh fish, citrus juices, and spices.
We love this place mostly because it's right in the Historic Seaport where we work. You can eat out side or inside and the food is colorful and every meal is a bonanza of color and choices. Ours is the local seafood flavors. When friends come to town we recommend this as a must stop! I met my wife Ronda on a blind date so this place is dear to us. We celebrate all kinds of special good times here!

Good views and it was fun having the roosters walking through the restaurant, but the food is not that great and overpriced. I don’t feel any need to come and eat here again. The conch chowder I found pretty bland and tasteless with not a lot of conk in it. The views were good, but someone was getting fish nearby and you could definitely smell it.

I heard great thing about this place. It was pretty loud and busy when we got there, which was fine, but I think they were a bit overwhelmed. Our server was nice, but got slammed and it appears our order got lost or mixed up, as we didn't get what we ordered. I'll chock it up to a one-off. Overall people were having fun there.
Michael D — Google review
Food and service was good. We were there for happy hour. Six of us ordered from their happy hour menu. The drinks at happy hour were reasonable at 50% off but normal prices were a little pricy. Would recommend and return. Had to change review. After dinner one of our party went to the restroom and our waiter was in the restroom and left without washing his hands. WASH YOUR HANDS JUAN!

Loved the layout of the place, stay was very friendly and entertaining. Good beer, food menu, nice prices on oysters. Everything was great. Surprised we haven't been here before. Great wine on tap too, also merchandise available.

The Grouper dish was delicious and a very large portion. The Conch Fritters were delicious, as was the Shrimp. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you have an opportunity try to sit upstairs as they offer some great views of the harbor. I did not give them 5 stars as the Crab Cakes were very average with too much filler. The appetizers arrived fast but so did the main course. Almost at the same time. The wine was overly warm as if the bottlw was sitting on the shelves in the 90 degree weather.

We had a very simple and private wedding reception at turtle kraals and they did a phenomenal job. The staff and service was outstanding. And key west vibe and view could not be any more perfect. They truly made our day absolutely perfect, so thankful for everything!

Last stop for lunch before we left key west. Food was excellent, we sat at the roof tip bar. You can't go wrong with the daily specials. Hot wings are smoked then grilled. Pretty sweet views

Limes and Pies is a delightful spot that offers a unique take on classic lime-infused treats. The Lime(a) Bean Martini, for instance, expertly blends lime flavors with vanilla extract for a refreshing twist on the traditional martini. Meanwhile, their Key Lime Pie has garnered rave reviews for its world-class quality and balanced sweetness. Visitors also praise the wide selection of ice cream flavors available, including non-dairy options like the delectable strawberry ice cream in a waffle cone.
We visited on a Tuesday night in late December 2024 (Christmas eve). It has a fun and inviting store front design with lots of seating. There were a lot of key lime themed snack foods in here and everything seemed to be reasonably priced and comparable to other places around. The one staff helping us was also very nice and there was one group there when we came in and another one came in when we left. We ordered: - Key Lime Colada - Raspberry Key Lime - Strawberry Key Lime - 2x Slices of Key Lime Pie All the frozen drinks were great and the kids loved them. We also stopped by here to get some Key Lime Pie slices to try. They were also very tasty. If you wanted anything Key Lime flavored this is your one stop shop and a necessity to try while in Key West.

We wanted to try the famous Key Lime Pie. They kindly explained what it was and offered us the best Key Lime Pie on the island.!! We also brought all the ingredients to make our own at home. Thank you so much Limes and Pies!

What a sweet spot in key west! You know after I got so many lemons, I have to come to keywest and visiting Hemingway’s house and the 61 cats on property. And this cute store just adorable. Key lemon pie with rich favor and a nice slice of lemon candy, perfectly matches the Cuban coffee and expresso. And the music and people watching on the cozy sofa… our server mil is very professional and attentive. The accessories and snacks and sweets they are selling will definitely bring the vibe back to wherever you are…can’t agree more below: Mil was a really great help with our questions. Didn’t experience such a great sales assistant in Florida yet.

The lady serving was nice BUT seriously for $6.99 the smallest and worst serving of ice cream that I've ever had. My husband had single and it was like a teaspoon of ice ream. The ice cream is incredibly average and the serving size atrocious. Wouldn't go back.

Best Key Lime pie Has a nice balance between sweet and tart creamy. The crust was really good held together. Well not hard but not too soft and the whipped cream was really smooth. You could tell it’s homemade it not out of a can overall I would totally recommend visiting limes and pies in Key West on Duvall St.

This is a great stop to try some authentic key lime pie in Key West! We opted to try this at the recommendation of a local nearby! Their pie was excellent and worthy of a visit!
