Chinese restaurant
Ming Wah is a family-run restaurant with 18 years of experience, offering classic Peking and Cantonese recipes alongside British dishes. Despite its unassuming size, it has catered to a diverse clientele including dignitaries, food critics, and locals as well as international visitors. The restaurant is known for serving freshly cooked Chinese cuisine from various regions such as Cantonese, Szechuan, and Malaysian.
This place is definitely worth the money spent! The service is very good and the food is beautiful! I would most definitely return here again!

Generally fine food, well presented, a little pricey. We over-ordered on the rice by a long way. It would have been nice if the waiter had indicated this at the time of ordering. The satay sauce was tasty and slightly spicy, some of the best satay I’ve had. My egg fried rice was a little too sticky but still tasty. The ginger sauce with my chicken lacked flavour and punch. The restaurant had nice decor too. Unfortunately we were sitting near to a big pile of Just Eat boxes which maybe could have been kept at the back somewhere out of sight. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

7 of us called in around 9pm on a Thursday evening. We enjoyed an outstanding meal...all the 'classics' were on the menu. The service was quick and everyone thought the food was absolutely first-class. The only negative was no Saki! I would highly recommend this restaurant...excellent value.

Went with my partner. Both had the lunch special. Fast , Friendly service. Nice food , very good value . Good choice. Atmosphere bit dark. Actually looked closed but glad we tried the door and gave it a chance. Recommended for nice good value lunch between 12 - 2 pm.

We went to Weymouth last week to celebrate my hubby's birthday. And we had simple dinner with this restaurant. The food was great but the service was poor. Is it because we are Asian that’s why we are less priority. Because we didn’t have reservations at the restaurant still I ask the staff if they accept walk-in customers and the staff told us that they would have table available after 30 minutes. So, I told my husband to walk around while waiting for a table to be available. When we came back there was a couple behind me also asking for an available table and also they didn’t have a reservation for that restaurant. However, I came first and asked first for the table before them. To my surprise they gave the table to the couple behind me. Since it was my hubby’s birthday and he only wanted to eat rice for his bday. I insisted to the staff if they can give us table because we had informed earlier that the table would be available in 30 minutes and also saw one table for 2 near the entrance. The staff told us that they will find a table for us. Again I was surprised because the table was close to the toilet and also we noticed that they gave complimentary treats to all the guests apart from us. So we were just waiting for our food to be served.

Went on a Wednesday night, read the reviews and thought give it a go and what a disappointment. The food was not good the surroundings were poor, been to better restaurants in China, no table clothes on the tables, the carpet needed a good scrub. Just not good will not be visiting again. They probably don't read there reviews and if they did then maybe things would change. Also over priced.
Steve G — Google review
We visited as a group of 4 adults and all commented that the food was very tasty. We weren't t sure what to expect because we knew that the original owner had moved on and we has recently seen a few negative comments on Facebook. So we were all pleasantly surprised when we found that the food and service were all great! Sometimes I find with Chinese food that it doesn't fill me up but this wasn't the case. There were so many original vegetarian options to chose from that I could personally visit all week long and not get bored lol Prices seemed reasonable too, worked out at £30 a head including a drink each . I think the last time I visited here was about 30 years ago and in all honesty I had pretty much forgotten about the place! It's firmly back on my map now and I think next time i want to eat out I might bring the family n kids - the chopsticks and fortune cookies will go down a treat :-)
Upcycle L — Google review
Absolutely shocking. My wife and I ordered a takeaway meal whilst on holiday in Weymouth, we ordered starters, chicken lettuce wraps for the second course along with main dishes and a rice, we eat out regularly and we do not mind spending money on nice / good food but I do not think that we have ever had such a poor quality meal. Please save your money and look elsewhere, nearly £70 wasted.

Nestled in a charming corner of Weymouth, The Weymouth Tandoori Indian Restaurant is a delightful gem that promises an authentic culinary experience. Located conveniently near the harbor and seafront, this traditional eatery has been a favorite among locals for years. With its cozy ambiance adorned with flock wallpaper and soothing melodies, it sets the perfect backdrop for enjoying classic Indian fare. The menu boasts an impressive selection of dishes, from beloved curries to unique house specialties that tantalize the taste buds.
I've eaten in house once but I quite often order or take away as I live nearby, always quick to deliver food, always good quality, kind staff, pretty restaurant. My favourite place for an Indian and always an easy decision. Always recommend to people, good portion sizes. Photo from delivery this evening, not even a quarter portion from each of the boxes

Lovely decor. Food is nicely presented and tasty. Unfortunately, toilets upstairs, not disability accessible. After meal, hand and face wipes provided. Very close to main town area and near car park. Recommended booking. Website offers are not honoured. No discounts. Onion bhaji is not good.

We stayed at weymouth bay and ordered from here, They delivered to the gate where we met them. The food was fantastic! The prawn cocktail starter had soooo many prawns in, i was in awe, The meat in the mains were tender and very yummy. The complementry Onion salad and sauces were lovely too. Didnt get too much taste from the onion naan though but the overall meals were delicious. If we didnt have little ones we would of defiantly dined in. Thanks for the best meal on our holiday.

We came here as we are previous customers from 2 years back. We all started by ordering our drinks. Our time here appeared to be going quite well, we ordered our drinks, our food and they asked us if we wanted poppadoms in which we agreed. We were chatting away when one of us noticed 4-5 drowning ants in the coke he was drinking. Instantly we all panicked checking our drinks. We bought this to their attention but no apology was made. They took the glass and bought back a fresh one. We continued our time here willing to put it behind us. The food was nice, we all enjoyed eating it. We quickly finished off our meals and they bought out the hand towels for us to wipe our hands on which was covered in mold. Every single one that was sealed shut. This raises questions as to the environment that the food is being cooked in, and the storage of there things. We again, raised this to their attention but again, no apology and infact this time they seemed very unbothered about the wipes being covered in mold. This is 2 occasions of hygiene standards being below the bar within such a short space of time... because of this, I feel less inclined to want to return here again and especially seeing their careless attitudes towards the ants in the drink, and the moldy hand wipes. Because of this, it ruins anything else that is good of the restaurant unfortunately as clean and top standards for hygiene is key for health and safety and paramount for the business and customers. It is a true shame... Upon reflection on the payments I noticed in very small writing that they also charged a 10% service fee which should have realistically been pointed out before hand. I would have refused to pay seeing the cleansliness of this place.

One of the most elegant Indian dining experiences I’ve ever had. The presentation, the attention to detail, and the depth of flavour in every dish were exceptional. We tried the seasonal tasting menu — every bite was a beautiful fusion of Indian tradition and modern creativity. Perfect for vegans too, which is a rare treat at this level of cuisine. Highly recommended for a special night out!
Abin S — Google review
The dining experience was excellent, the staff paid very good attention to my group and was very polite and very respectful at all times, the food was extraordinarily delicious & full of flavour and was very competitively cheap so I left a good tip. Would highly recommended this place
Darren M — Google review
Food is very sweet and oily. Channa massala and paneer butter massala both appeared to be cooked in the same dark red coconut sweet gravy. The veg Biryani was also mediocre with lots of green chillies and hence spicy .. The nan bread and roti had too too much butter. From a food angle only the papadam was tasty and then the mint chocolate that came with the bill Food 2.5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Atmosphere is very good. Lots of seats and good lighting and place is generally busy..lots of guests on a Saturday Evening.
Tapan A — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Weymouth Tandoori Restaurant, and it was a truly satisfying experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an enjoyable meal. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, ranging from traditional curries to house specialties. I tried the chicken tikka masala, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the lamb rogan josh had tender pieces of meat in a flavorful sauce. The naan bread was soft, fresh, and the perfect companion to the curries. What really stood out was the balance of flavors—the food was aromatic without being overpowering, and each dish felt carefully prepared. The portions were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh.

Seafood restaurant
Nestled on the Jurassic Coast, Crab House Café is a charming seafood restaurant in Weymouth. The rustic seaside hut offers a laid-back atmosphere and upscale fresh seafood dishes at reasonable prices. Overlooking the Portland Coast and Chesil Beach, it specializes in serving fresh local crab on large wooden boards with all the necessary accessories. Additionally, it boasts its own oyster beds just in front of the cafe, ensuring that diners enjoy the freshest seafood experience possible.
Had dinner here yesterday and it was incredible! The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top notch! The staff were all lovely and really accommodating, and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a memorable meal. The food was so so good - I had the half crab with no idea of how to crack it, but the waiting team helped me out with some tips, and I got there in the end! Would definitely recommend!

Honestly, 3rd year in a row we have been here and it never disappoints. Once again we were lucky enough to get the table for 2 next to the pass, so we saw everyone else’s dishes as well as our own. Crab and sardine starters were superb, my wife’s stuffed sole was great, my lobster came in a bowl of the most delicious liquid I have ever tasted. It’s great to find a seafood restaurant that just does seafood, and there are always multiple things that temp on a changing menu. You will need to book ahead (we took a guess when we would be sailing in to Portland and adjusted our trip to make sure we could be here). If you love seafood you will love this place. And every single person we interacted with here were professional, enthusiastic and friendly.

My wife and stepsons took me out for my birthday dinner. Fantastic food, great service and absolutely perfect ambience. Lovely rustic chic and brilliant food. The only disappointment was my wife's bellini. Tasted great but presentation was a bit off. Food still gets 5 stars because it was absolutely phenomenal. We came all the way from Southampton just off this meal and we were not let down at all.

Been coming here for over 20 years, since it was Abbotsbury Oysters, love the food, the oysters, the atmosphere and great service too. Friendly atmosphere, I recommend booking to guarantee a table. Plenty of seating areas to chose from and some are also dog friendly. The menu is full of choice which makes decisions difficult!

Never disappoints! Hits the spot every time! Outstanding choice, value, food, location, service and atmosphere. Food is incredible. This is a very very special place. You can feel it as soon as you walk in. There is no other restaurant like it. My absolute favourite in the whole of the UK.

Fantastic varied menu, incredible wine list, beautiful setting and amazing staff. The food was sensational and every member of staff was so friendly, attentive and professional. Highly recommend this lovely place.

This place is amazing, the atmosphere the staff the restaurant deco & the food is fantastic. Recommend to book & go, if walk in then no chance of getting a table. Good quality sea food is served here. All we ate was delicious & really very good. We ate oysters, Lobster & the spicy Japanese Crab

We went for lunch unplanned at the last minute and were totally blown away by how perfect and fresh every single dish was. The staff are all genuinely lovely people as well. A very rare 10 out of 10 dining experience. My wife and both spoke about how delicious the food was all the way home and would highly recommend this restaurant. We had the spicy crab, soul fish, scallops with wild garlic butter and some delicious oysters. Followed by a trio of desserts. Every dish was fantastic! All the other dishes coming from the kitchen looked equally as delicious.

Located in a stunning coastal setting overlooking Weymouth Bay, Harvester Spyglass Inn Weymouth is a family-friendly restaurant offering a variety of grilled meats, salads, pasta, and seafood. Situated just off the B3155 near Dorchester and the Isle of Portland, this pub restaurant provides easy access to nearby attractions such as RSPB Weymouth Wetlands, Weymouth Harbour, and Weymouth Beach.
Lovely restaurant, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area has a great view of the sea and of Weymouth seafront. They do good vegan options - the vegan tacos are really good. Service was great, Morgan was our server and was very present and quick (but not rushed) with taking our order etc. Free parking, you just need to enter your reg when you go in on the screen at the bar or where you wait to be seated. Would recommend coming here.
Lorna S — Google review
Absolutely shocking. Don't waste your time. Our waiter was lovely, but he was doing all the work. We were met by a young girl looking us up and down, loads of free tables but none available! Had to wait 30 minutes for one of the empty tables for some reason. She had a bad attitude and was constantly chewing, and either on her phone, swinging her hair around, ignoring customers or going outside to smoke. The salad bar was shocking, filthy and empty. They had run out of loads of different things, and the wait for food was over an hour! Literally the worst I've ever been too. Such a shame as it was my husband’s birthday meal and we were on holiday. Such a shame as it has potential. I wouldn't return.
Tamara T — Google review
It's just awful! Entered an empty restaurant to be told they were fully booked and had to wait. When we were finally seated, it was to one of many empty tables that were free the whole time. Lots of food was out of stock, including chicken, fish, skewers, etc. The salad bar was trashed and was not refilled or clean. After around 1 hour 30 mins, someone finally decided to fill it slowly. Not even a bread roll in sight, when they finally appeared, they were half defrosted. The girls who work here have terrible customer service, too busy chewing and smoking out the back. We were served within 10 minutes of being seated by the only thing that was good in the place, A lovley guy called Csaba, he was attentive, friendly and really wonderful, asked how long he had worked there he said 3 weeks, this may be the reason that's he was the only one taking orders clearing and cleaning tables and getting the complaints by all the customers for the 1hour 40 minute wait for food. I really feel for him. The others were not helping him at all they are taking advantage because he's still new. He deserves better! Meals were lukewarm and chips were soggy and stale £17.49 for a small plate of mash with a film over tony bit of beef brisket which was mostly fat and veg that had dried out unfer the hot plate Shame on the management. I would avoid this place it could be exceptional due to location with sea views.
Kammy 1 — Google review
Hmmm what to say . Its hit and miss for service. Especially finding the bar area clean . It's dog friendly but it seems you are treated differently from being in the main restaurant. Such a shame because the food is actually nice and a very fresh salad bar . I asked three times if someone could clear away the mess on the tables After a 15 minute wait we walked out. No one wants to eat in a messy place
Misty C — Google review
A long wait on food but we didn’t mind, we were told this before we were seated. Can’t fault the food or service. Salad was fresh, drinks made perfectly. A lovely day.

⭐ Absolutely Appalling – Don’t Waste Your Time Absolutely disgraceful experience at the Harvester Spy Glass Inn in Weymouth. As a family, we were left sat for two hours with no food, no update, and no apology. That’s completely unacceptable – especially as we have a daughter with special needs who needed to get home for her seizure medication. We arrived just after 18:00 and left at 20:00 – still hungry, stressed, and completely let down. The salad bar was a total joke – just scraps left, never restocked during our visit. It’s meant to be a key part of the experience, yet it was utterly unusable. To add insult to injury, several main meals were unavailable, including all fish options and two other mains, and we weren’t told until long after ordering. The re-fillable fizzy drinks had no flavour whatsoever – just fizzy water. The toilets were disgusting – one was blocked, and the other didn’t even have a working lock. Hygiene and basic maintenance clearly aren’t a priority here. Worst of all, the entire experience felt like we were just flies on the wall – completely forgotten about and left to our own. Not once did anyone check in or show any level of care. For a bill that would’ve been well over £50, this level of service is an absolute disgrace. This is not the standard you’d expect from a well-known Harvester chain. First visit – and 100% the last. Avoid this place at all costs.
Alex C — Google review
Day out with the kids, partner said "Let's pop to the Harvester down the road on the way home"... the last time I went to the harvester was 10 years ago, worst experiance ever so was hesitant, wow was i wrong!! The entrance is where the atmosphere loses a star, very dark and felt very run down but once you go through to the restaurant its very nice. Service, fantastic, was served by CJ he was top notch, super friendly always helped with every query and was a good laugh, top lad. Food, why we go right, prices was a put off but once I got the food it then didn't bother me as it was super impressive and was blown away how good it was. Definatly would return when in the area, pleasant suprise!
Liam T — Google review
Our server, Morgan, made the experience 100% better. he was welcoming and regularly checked in throughout our experience. He was ever so friendly and was eager to answer any questions we had. The wait times on the food were very short, and the food came very hot and amazing quality. The atmosphere was calming, clean tables and seating areas. Will definitely visit again. :)

Italian restaurant
Prezzo Italian Restaurant in Weymouth is a popular casual dining spot known for its stone-baked pizzas, classic pastas, and separate kids' menu. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a wide range of options on the menu to cater to different dietary preferences such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian choices. Located just at the end of High Street near the marina and beach, it's a convenient place to dine while exploring the area.
Lovely food, amazing deal - we used their “buy one main, get one for £1”. I had the meaty calzone with a large calamari, and the boss had the crab and lobster ravioli. I absolutely loved it, so did the boss! Customer service was great, our waiter Daniel was very accommodating, friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend for food or drinks!
Will — Google review
I do use this Prezzo quite often the food and atmosphere are great! Plus you get a great view of the harbour/bridge. I have never had a bad meal. However I will say the staff need to take cleaning a little more seriously (hence the 3 stars). The menu’s were covered in foody/greasy hand prints on my last visit. Also the tables all need a wipe down as lots of crumbs and sauce splatters left, I have seen people leave over this issue in there before. A tip! The large pizza’s are smaller than the normal size, all they do is change the shape.
Paul B — Google review
I was on holiday in Weymouth last week with my two Grandchildren aged 13 and 15 and we had passed Prezzo the night before having already eaten. So we came early on the Wednesday evening, quite expecting it to be busy, but hoping we would be lucky enough to get a table. Within minutes we were shown a table and the service and attention from our waitress Hope was excellent. She was serving many tables, yet never taking her eye off the “ball” or should I say she “ pasta lot of pizza” etc 😉 lovely friendly girl who put a smile on my Grandson’s face too when they played “rock paper scissors” 👏 The food was lovely, the kids enjoyed their pizza whilst I chose carbonara. The dessert was delicious 😋 The buzz of the busy restaurant made for a lovely atmosphere, people out enjoying themselves, whether holiday makers or locals, all in all a lovely way to round off our last day in Weymouth. Hope was very busy as we were leaving but I did ask the Manager to convey our thanks to her, and the rest of the team. Well done to you all.

Excellent! Staff was very attentive especially Sonia :) She was so helpful & patient. (Used a few discount codes) Food was great & well presented. Good size portions. Always been a fan of prezzo, gutted my local in Oxfordshire has closed down. I’ll certainly be back to the Weymouth one.

UPDATED WITH SECOND REVIEW! Review 1: Absolutely Wonderful food and service! Had a lovely 2-course meal for two using a Buyagift voucher we'd been given. The food was delicious and of a very high quality and the service was fabulous! We hadn't quite completed the voucher registration to get the booking reference number, but the waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful and completed it for us. Review 2: Once again, fantastic, delicious food and exceptional service!! Our food was delicious again. My wife absolutely loves the veggie-chicken burger which she says is just like chicken with a crispy/crunchy coating. The food arrived remarkably quickly despite being a busy Saturday evening. Really want to commend our main server, Olivia, who was exceptional (helpful, professional, courteous and knowledgeable) plus Chloe who was super-friendly and helpful. 100% recommend Weymouth Prezzo for fabulous food and outstanding service!
Tom L — Google review
Prezzo Management please help Weymouth Prezzo. It's a great location, menu does not disappoint, but then it's all downhill. No concentration at booking in, meant our party was seated at separate tables in completely different areas of the restaurant for 10 minutes. It was the first time of using the App and being confused, we asked for help, but was told just click everything and we'll sort at the end. Free dough balls✔️, birthday cake✔️, Prezzo club discounts ✔️ We then proceeded with various waiters who in turn stated they couldn't take our order and eventually a member of staff appeared who could. However, they served garlic bread, without the garlic, birthday cake with a hair on. Maybe the hair is down to no head covering in the kitchen. Then to the bill and we're told you can't use that voucher with that voucher or that voucher. Which is why we asked for an explanation at the beginning. Sadly no explanation for the grey hair in the cake, just "Oh". So you maybe able to see why we won't be rushing back, even with Friends & Family discount. Hope improvement can be made.
Belinda B — Google review
Calamari and garlic bread were great but the rest of the food was substandard. Paid over £20 for beef shin (which was nice) but came with dried mash and no spinach. When we queried this a very small bowl of spinach in a vat of gravy was produced!!! Nutella doughnuts were rubbery - thought we were eating chewing gum. Service was slow but very friendly. Wanted to pay cash but weren’t aware you couldn’t do this until we got the bill. Tried paying by app but this didn’t work properly and caused more delays to an already drawn out meal Overall we probably won’t return to Prezzo’s based on cost and quality- very disappointing

The A La Carte menu features classic British Indian dishes alongside authentic and signature options, catering to vegetarians, meat lovers, and seafood enthusiasts. While some visitors praise the exceptional service and delicious food, others note that the restaurant could improve its attention to cleanliness and promptness in service.
We dined at Shalims on a very wet windy evening before going to a show . There is parking close by and it’s free after 6 pm, it’s a very easy walk for anyone that has walking difficulties. The menu is straight forward and had lots of choices. The portions are generous and everything was delicious, we will definitely come again when in Weymouth.

Good service, but food took 80 minutes to arrive. Prawn dansk was tasty and nicely flavoured but not spicey as described. Very small portion sizes too, rice and vegetable curry were both exceptionally small dishes for quite a hefty price.
Su B — Google review
We were looking for a good Indian restaurant for several years since our local Indian restaurant stopped trading. We found Shalims via the internet and we have dined here now for the third time and tried several different dishes. They were all delicious. The papadoms and the garlic nan were also very good. The Anokha Lager is exquisite. All of the staff were very friendly and so was the manager. This will be our new regular restaurant.

I was on holiday in Weymouth and fancied an Indian meal. I read the reviews and decided on Shalims. I was not disappointed. A very warm welcome by the manager and the whole experience was an enjoyable evening. Service, food, ambience of the restaurant. A very enjoyable evening. I wish I had the same restaurant close to me. Excellent.

Great experience. Service was excellent, so efficient but not rushed, very attentive. Food was good, decent portions, great value and brilliant variety of choices.

Seafood restaurant
Rockfish, a well-known seafood restaurant chain, is set to open its doors in Weymouth with a focus on offering the finest and sustainably sourced seafood. The menu will feature creative dishes like wild prawn carpaccio and whole chargrilled sea bass with rosemary, garlic, and salsa verde. The restaurant also plans to offer a separate menu dedicated to locally sourced fish as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
Excellent fish restaurant. There is comprehensive menu. In addition, there is a paper table cloth with a list of additional fish dishes. The catch of the day fishes are marked by the waiter and some more catches nicely explained. We had catch of the day dishes. The fish is absolutely fresh and delicious. The service is very competent, nice, efficient and attentive. There is a standard disabled toilet well accessible and nicely hidden.

Service was excellent. Our waitress, her first day, was lovely. Also, Solly was great too. I liked that they wrote on your table cloth what was available that day and the price. A great moment. In addition, the welcome as we entered and when we booked, lovely, welcoming and friendly. Loved the shipping forecast in the toilets. A nice touch that we remember. Unlimited chips were really unlimited - brilliant. No terms and conditions, maybes, or if you’d, just unlimited. Ronseal! Fish…cooked perfectly. Anchovy mayonnaise was exceptional. Plus, the homemade tartare was fabulous and the curry sauce was out of this world. The Rockfish lager was good too.

We had the most amazing meal here the other night. My second visit to a Rockfish restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed. The food was cooked to perfection. Toby, our waiter, was attentive and polite. Intolerances were catered for with care and reassurance. Perfect!
CatherineL — Google review
The food at Rockfish in Weymouth was absolutely incredible. The fish was some of the best I have ever had. The haddock was perfectly cooked, light, fresh and not greasy, with plenty of fish inside. The sides were just as impressive, with curry peas, curry mushy peas, and coleslaw all cooked to perfection. Everything was full of flavour and complemented the fish beautifully. The service was outstanding, with James being very well mannered, polite, and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish and I would give it a full 5 out of 5.
Daishawn H — Google review
Staff like Verity and James have been so attentive to us. I am really impressed with the way they explained all the fresh seafood of the day, and we were informed about the prices too. It was expensive but worth it! It was my daughter’s birthday, and since we didn’t have a booking, they only offered outdoor seating. It wasn’t as pleasant, but it was alright. My daughter was given a free birthday dessert with a candle to blow out, which made it really special.
Kimpoy G — Google review
The food was really nice and everything was tasty, but we didn’t enjoy having 5 different waiters constantly checking on us every 2 minutes. It felt overwhelming and interrupted the meal. One dedicated server would make the experience more relaxed and personal.

Jasmine was a lovely server, and went out of her way to make our evening really special. Food was excellent all round; we went for the lobster and halibut, both of which were cooked perfectly (be sure to try the Jalapeño tartare too!). We’ll definitely be back - thank you!

Rendezvous in Weymouth, located next to the town bridge, is a multi-level venue offering dining and drinking facilities. It's known for its great brunch options and tasty cocktails. The place has a friendly vibe with excellent customer service. The venue also offers a pleasant ambiance with chill music and beautiful views of the harbor. Additionally, Rendezvous impresses with its fast WiFi and delicious vegetarian breakfast options.
Went here for our first ever bottomless brunch and it was such an amazing experience. The staff were wonderful, our glasses were never empty before our server was asking us what we wanted next, the food and the cocktails were absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend going here for food and drink as I can not fault the place at all will definitely be going back when I visit weymouth again. Thank you so much to our server and all the other staff 😊

Some nice vegan options. The mushroom tacos and cauliflower wings were the best (both very tasty and filling). Tuesday's they have a cheap wings deal so you can get quite a lot. It was very quite on a Tuesday night, so no issues getting a table or being served.

We visited in a quiet Monday afternoon for a soft drink. Staff pleasent and efficient. Plenty of seating inside and out with views over harbour. Saw others ordering food which looked good. We had large lemonade and blackcurrant drinks for only £2 each. Looks like it's a popular night spot. Toilets up loads of stairs and small with broken locks no good if you have mobility issues.

Rhy and Kyle were both very attentive and lovely. Rhy kept us topped up the whole two hours. She was so lovely and enthusiastic. I came here for bottomless brunch for a date and it was my first time at bottomless brunch. Wow. Such good value for money. And a view of the harbour from the window! Thank you xx

Impeccable service. The staff were friendly and fun but also professional. The food was so good, probably one of the best burger and fries I've eaten out (mind you i do usually only go to spoons) The cocktails were really fantastic, they looked great and tasted even better. I would 100percent recommend the bottomless brunch for value. The view of the harbour was beautiful. We had a fantastic time. Thank you to the staff in Weymouth for looking after us teachers and assistants yesterday. Can't wait to return. See you again soon (sorry, in advance!🤣)

All around an amazing experience in the food service and the view looking over the river. My partner has a dairy allergy and struggles just about everywhere but this place has quite possibly the best vegan menu I have ever seen. Had Ruben as our bar and service he was very helpful and got us the best seat in the house overlooking the river with the doors open. and then helped us out with the allergy sheet and was more than happy to awnser any and all of are questions. Thanku!!! Would highly recommend especially if allergies are an issue.

Nestled by the serene waters of the Swannery, The Gurkha is a delightful Pan-Asian buffet that invites you to embark on a culinary journey through flavors from China, Thailand, India, and Nepal. This vibrant eatery offers an impressive selection of over 30 dishes in a buffet format, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether you're craving spicy Indian curries or comforting Thai noodles, you'll find it all here.
We were visitors to the town on Saturday September 6th, and chose Gurkha Resturant purely by chance. We were already in the area and arrived at 5pm and there was plenty of seating to choose from . Having sat by a window and admired the view, we decided on the buffet . We found the food to be excellent without fault, and the staff were very friendly. The resturant began to fill up quickly, clearly this is a popular establishment! Well done to all the staff for making our visit a memorable one! Thank you Garry Gammans/Jacqueline Chatfield
GARRY G — Google review
I was dubious about eating here, especially midweek. Booked a table for two on a Thursday evening with no issues via their online contact form. Ample parking as the public car park next to The Gurkha is free after 6pm. It's an interesting place to look at from the outside and even more so inside. There were a few tables occupied already and by the time we left the restaurant was quite busy. The actual buffet area is very small, so when it's busy, there's a bit of a queue, and the selection of food is small. All the dishes were very tasty, although the chicken tikka masala sauce was rather pink! I would say I noted the lack of waiters to order drinks, hence my 4* for Service. My 4* for food is due to the small selection of dishes. I would go to The Gurkha again if I return to Weymouth as the price, taste of the food, and the friendliness of the staff was great.
Becky — Google review
We visited this Chinese buffet restaurant around 9:00 PM, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Most of the buffet trays were nearly empty, and it was clear that no effort was made to refill them, even though the restaurant was still open. The few items that were available were poor in quality—the egg fried rice was dry, the prawn toast had barely any prawn filling, and the seaweed was overly salty and sweet, making it quite unpleasant. To be fair, the staff were friendly and polite, which we appreciated. However, that didn’t make up for the lack of food and quality. If you’re planning to visit, I’d strongly recommend going much earlier in the evening, if at all. Based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

Lovely food. I would love to see more puddings available and I was very disappointed with the sweet and sour chicken as they were very tiny pieces of chicken in a bright red sauce so I didn't want to eat my favourite dish. This place is definitely worth a visit very good and different.

We visited 3 times whilst on a week holiday in Weymouth. All times between 5 and 6pm. The food is excellent quality and taste, and plenty of everything available. One of the best all-you-can-eat buffet style restaurants I've experienced. Personal favourites: the seaweed, the crispy duck, the spare ribs, and the excellent Gurkha lamb curry.

Just been back again... On a tuesday.... And no roast too speak off. But beautiful Cantonese curries And they were really pleasing too the eye,and tasted just the same. I keep on harping on about prices in Weymouth. And today rather than spend £10 on chicken ,or a burger in a fast food chain... I opted for the gurkha. And for £12,ate some really nice and spicy curries, and of course followed by as much ice cream you can eat...🤔😋❤️ You cannot beat the Gurkha. Setting is just as beautiful next too the nature reserve. And the staff.. Are like my friends...♥️😇✨🥰 The meat is good, and I love the curries... Haven't been for a while. And was welcomed back. It is one of the best eateries in Weymouth. If you have s family on a Budget..❤️ Food is really good, and as long as you pace yourself ....... You can eat as much as you want....!! I made that mistake first time. And ate five plates all of different varieties. Typical roast( Yorkshire puddings are really good). Nepanese cuisine, the mushrooms are too die for, saffron rice, and hot spicy beef curry.. And they do a nice dessert, ice cream and fruit cocktail.. Melon... Situated on the swannery.. I adore the friendliness,of the staff.. And also the Price..... But like I've said, with all it's good points. You can only eat as much as your stomach and taste buds can take..!!! Been back again this Sunday ...... Had the nepanese curry... Followed by soup.. Then a English roast.. Then a large bowl of ice cream, and fruit. Did ask and surprised(been caught twice parking tickets).......... There is limited free parking right outside the restaurant.🚗 Anybody whose in a wheelchair ideal...x

Seafood restaurant
Sea Beats is a seafood restaurant located in Weymouth, offering an array of delectable seafood dishes in a family-friendly space with black and white checkered tile floors. The owner and head chef, Adam Foster, has won awards for the establishment's excellence. Visitors have praised the restaurant for its great seating outside, delicious food including crab pate, skate wing, pan-fried bass, and superb creme brulee.
First trip to Weymouth and wanted to try some seafood. Walked past Seabeats a few times and it was always full, so a good sign there. Booked a table online for family of three. Right on the seafront, unassuming frontage with indoor and outdoor covered seating. Simple rustic interior. Menu had lots of seafood/fish choices and a small kids selection. Had pan fried hake with seafood rice, linguine with mackerel and kids fish fingers and chips. Couple of drinks and desserts, price was very reasonable £78, compared to other meals we had. The food was fantastic. Appetizing, fresh and flavourful. Spied some other diners dishes and they looked fabulous too. I wish I could have tried them all. The young staff were also excellent, friendly, polite and professional. If you like fish, I really recommend this place. Its very good. Sorry for the poor quality photos, they don't do the food justice.

Ate here for my birthday on Wednesday (13th), and the food was fantastic!. Everything from starters to deserts was amazing. Staff were lovely and the setting was great………absolutely can’t wait to go back!!! 😊

What a great find! We have been visiting Weymouth for years and never noticed the restaurant before . It's a small, cozy venue with about 8 tables inside and 6 or so under cover outside. Booked the day before via the website booking form. Adam (I believe owner and chef) was very quick to respond confirming the booking (5.30pm) We arrived a few minutes early but were immediately welcomed and seated by Henry. Menu is fish based but with options for those that don't want fish. Good selection of wines and beers. We had the mackerel pate starter followed by sea bass fillet with samphire and potatoes and whole sea bream with roasted veg and potatoes. They were happy to swap the veg/potatoes options. All the food was cooked prepared and delivered perfectly. I believe Rich was cooking and Ava was assisting Henry in front of house. Thank you to you all! Well worth the visit, great food, great value and great service. Thank you! Sample menu is on the website.

Attended sea beats tonight, booked by my fiance for my birthday! WOW!!! we eat out a few times a month at all different restaurants but this one is THE BEST!! We had scallops for starters, which were cooked to perfection 👌 and sea bass for main!!! This has to be the best meal me and my fiance have had in a very VERY long time!! Food was beautifully cooked by rich (brilliant chef) and top marks to Harry, the server that couldn't accommodate us more if he tried. Brilliant team guys!! Shows in what you deliver 🙂

A small, intimate restaurant serving delicious, authentic Italian food. We popped in here on a whim, not sure what to expect. We were greeted by the waitress and she managed to fit us in. She made us feel very welcome. The food was tasty, good selection of wines and prompt service. It was a nice place to relax over a meal and to chat to the staff and other guests. Good pizzas, tasty aranchini balls and quality wine!

Lovely small Italian restaurant that is well worth a visit. I went here yesterday with my partner for his birthday and was not disappointed. We both had the garlic bread for starter - it was so garlicky!! Then had a Hawaiian pizza and a calzone, portion sizes are large and taste is fantastic! Shoutout to the lady who served us, very polite and professional! Will definitely be returning!!!

Went there based on the google reviews and it certainly did not disappoint. Food was hot, tasty and delivered as promised, the menu offers good value for money as do the portion sizes. Service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant itself was clean, tidy and well presented. They have recently won a number of awards which they have (and rightly so) ensured are within view of the main dining areas. We went on a Tuesday night on one of the last days before the schools went back and they seemed fully booked as they were turning away walk-ins - which is a positive sign as it shows how popular this restaurant must be. It’s good to see a local independent business doing good business like that. Would certainly recommend a visit, the food won’t disappoint but make sure you book to avoid disappointment.

We were there for the first time. There is a small room hall where you sit too close to other people. Its a bit uncomfortable. The food did not make much of an impression. The choice of salad is small and they are too simple. Pizza and lasagna are delicious, but pasta I wouldn't say is really authentic. The toilet requires a little modernization 🙏 I was scared to be there.

what a cute little place. food is lovely and very well presented, salads were delectable. lemon meringue tart and pistachio cake slice were both delicious and the espresso was expertly made. the romanian waitress was very nice and helpful too. definitely recommend a visit, but a warning to the vegetarians out there who we visited with, dishes are not clearly labelled vegetarian although the options are delicious once you find them.

Had a really nice dinner for two. It's a cosy intimate relaxed restaurant with very friendly, prompt and personable service. The food was delicious and really good value for money. Good choice of wines, beers, spirits and some cocktails as well as soft drink options. Good vegetarian choice if preferred/needed. We had pizzas which were superb. I would strongly advise prospective diners to book a table. We booked quickly and easily online the day before visiting. It's a well-rated, small restaurant in a busy seaside town so don't be surprised if you cannot get a table as a walk-in. It's popular for a reason, so book a table to guarantee your experience and avoid potential disappointment. Highly recommended.

A lovely, small little Italian which we would definitely recommend. The food was really good (especially the cheesy garlic bread) and great value too! We got an alcoholic drink each, a starter and a pizza each which came in at under £50 total which is really reasonable for the popular destination. Service was speedy without any compromise on quality. Honestly what really made this place shine was the extremely down-to-earth, friendly service from Maisie. She was a lovely waitress who made us feel really welcome and clearly has great taste in shoes (Doc Martens are the comfiest!) Thank you for a lovely evening.

Not the best experience ever in general. The restaurant is big and unorganized. It lacks atmosphere and attention to detail The service was somewhat of a shambles, not bad or rude but unprofessional The food was, for the most part passable. 1 of the starters was undercooked, whilst the other was perfectly fine. The mains were plentiful and tasty, even if some where colder than you would like This place doesn't FEEL like a restaurant, more like a cafe/social club. Shame really as it has potential

Ordered the Beat. Frist off, don't say American style cole slaw when it's nothing close to it. ( Yes, I am American). American Cole slaw is red cabbage white cabbage mayo 4tbsp 2 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp vinegar ( aka spirit vinegar) there's no pickle juice in it. Wasn't edible. The brisket was so tough that you couldn't even chew it. The ribs and the chicken were pretty good.

Horrible experience eating here. Food took ages to arrive (50 minutes for a starter). Then it was terrible. Burger was a dry husk one half, and a soggy mess the other. Chips were dripping in grease. I would avoid eating here, there are better options - including going hungry.
John S — Google review
If I could give this 0 star I would, the food was absolutely terrible. Chips were freezing cold, the beef brisket which was priced at £19 was so dry no flavour whatsoever, tasted like it was from the week before carvery that’s how dry it was! The burger and bacon inside the chicken burger was burnt n dry too. Mac and cheese was just plain pasta with cheese on top.

Wonderful experience. The food was great... tasty, exactly what you'd want when you see the menu. Really great British seaside place, lots of amenities, lots to do, great entertainment. Fantastic staff, really committed to giving you a great experience. (Shoutout to Josh and the team!) We called in after my son had just participated in the recent triathlon event. We quickly found a table and a server came and explained how it all worked. All I can say is perfect comfort food. The pulled pork "burger" was excellent. It was a pity we didn't find the restaurant earlier in the weekend.

Had an absolutely amazing time here using the Augmented Reality Darts and Shuffleboard! We were greeted by Josh who was so lovely and got us all sorted out with drinks and then set up in the darts room. He also kindly checked in on us and got us sorted for shuffleboard after too. It is very family friendly as I had our 4 year old with us and 3 month old baby in pram and plenty of space for her. Also plenty for our 4 year old to be occupied with on the retro games arcade and games/board games in the games area. He had a lot of fun! The drinks were phenomenal - we had some really tasty cocktails and quick service too. Didn't eat this time, but will be back again and want to try out the carvery (which looked great) and the other activities they have on offer! Really recommend and can't wait to come again.

My first ever experience with Cafe India. My order was delivered piping hot, absolutely delicious and generous portions. Friendly courier. Will definitely treat myself again soon.
Jane S — Google review
I recently visited Cafe India in Weymouth and was disappointed with my experience. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the table was prepared with paper tablecloths that were visibly dirty from previous customers. Additionally, I noticed a black, sticky, mold-like substance on the back of my spoon, and when I brought this to the staff’s attention, there was no apology or acknowledgment; the staff simply took the spoon and walked away. Throughout our visit, there were several other concerns: no water was available at our table, and the patrons sitting nearby did not even receive glasses with their drinks. When our food finally arrived, the lamb was extremely tough, the chicken was not properly cooked, and my mother’s order was incorrect despite our clear emphasis on ordering Tikka rather than Rizza curry. The onion bhajis were hard and mostly contained grated carrot, which was unexpected. At the end of our meal, we observed the waiter spraying a paper napkin and leaving it on the table, along with curry stains and dirt – which seemed inappropriate, especially considering that paper napkins are meant to be discarded after use. The floor was also unclean during our visit. When we raised these concerns with the staff, they appeared to dismiss them without even an apology. Additionally, we noticed an extra charge of £1 on our bill, which was explained as a fee for changing the dish—despite the dish being written down incorrectly in the first place. Overall, our experience was disappointing due to poor service, substandard food, and an untidy environment. Regrettably, I do not plan to return.

Partner & I ordered 2 of our usual Indian cuisines. Unfortunately we were left very disappointed, the madrass tasted very bland. but the prawns in the makhani were off & were giving off a very funny smell. This unfortunately made my partner have a very upset stomach. The rice & naan bread were very average. Hopefully this was a 1 off event but we won't be going here again.

Another delicious meal from Cafe India Weymouth. We have it delivered but it's a lovely place to dine out with a BYO drinks licence. The chicken madras is a perfect amount of heat for us and delicious side dishes too.

Very nice service, delicious food, but the restaurant inside needs some renovation or refreshment. Currently, I am not encouraged to sit and eat inside. I highly recommend takeaway food, it tastes really, really good

Worst chicken Bhuna I’ve ever had, no flavour, no gravy, dry and tasteless. My partner left her dish too. Very disappointed.

Nestled on Maiden Street, Aon Thai Kitchen is a delightful gem for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine. This charming restaurant has garnered praise from food enthusiasts who rave about the genuine flavors reminiscent of Thailand itself. Diners have enjoyed standout dishes like the fresh tom yum king prawn and creamy green curry, complemented by perfectly sticky rice and delectable Pad Thai.
Fabulous place. This was our first visit it won’t be our last. Service was lovely and food was delicious. One of the best Thai restaurants we’ve been to locally. Was very quiet but we were dining early. The service and conversation helped the quietness and we didn’t feel uncomfortable. It is a must visit.

We visited recently for an early evening dinner, having read the great reviews on Trip Adviser. We weren't disappointed! The food was hot, satisfying and extremely flavourful, with decent portion sizes. The service was friendly and efficient and we were asked a number of times if everything was ok with our meal. We also noticed the staff interacting with other customers and recognising their repeat business. We also thought the prices were reasonable for a touristy area. We'll definitely return and highly recommend to others. Many thanks.
Liza V — Google review
Was visiting the area alone, for work, for one night, and was in the mood for Thai food. After a quick google I found this place, and I’m so glad I did. The food was exquisite, one of, if not the the best Tom Yum I’ve ever had. One of the owners was working front of house, he was brilliant. Fantastic service, and as a solo diner made me feel right at home. I hope I have to come back to the area soon just so I can visit again.
Calvin A — Google review
A very nice authentic menu, however, the chicken Satay starter was served chilled, including the peanut sauce, which was very disappointing. The vegetarian Pad Kee Pao was very nicely spiced, but there was a distinct lack of vegetables. Overall, I would say the food was average. The restaurant was clean, and the waiter was attentive, friendly, and efficient. I liked the Thai background music.

I’m a Thai food lover, I’d say this is the best Thai food I’ve ever had in England😻Every dish was so authentic just like the ones I had in thailand, everything was so on point,The tom yum king prawn was so fresh, green curry was tasty and creamy and the rice is pleasantly sticky and bouncy texture. Pad Thai was sooo good too!!And satay chicken😻nothing I could complaint about honestly 😻Had a Valentine’s set lunch there, lovely service and decoration, good location in town centre too. The owner Replies super efficiently on online messages and super sweet. Keep doing what you are doing cos it’s amazing 🤩

New favourite Thai place unlocked at Portland / Weymouth. Really flavoursome and authentic. Must order: Tom Kha, Red Curry (excellent and creamy). Good to order: Thai Basil Crispy Pork Belly.

If you're in Weymouth and craving some delicious Indian cuisine, look no further than King Balti. This charming takeaway has been delighting visitors with its mouthwatering aromas that waft through the air, enticing you to indulge in their flavorful offerings. Diners rave about the Pathia, which is hailed as one of the tastiest they've had in ages. The menu boasts a variety of dishes that are not only well-prepared but also beautifully presented.
Very well presented place, clean & open kitchen. Friendly helpful staff. Nargis kebab - superb, Chicken chat nice but different to what I'm used to (they did tell me this when I ordered), Tarka Dall - okay / pretty average (an Indian chef once told me this is a key dish to judge a curry house by, so I often order it when trying out new places), Chicken Mr Naga - sublime & one of best I've had, taste, texture, beautiful! Keema Naan - very good. Free poppadoms, onion salad, mint sauce - very good & fresh. This place is a banker, the food is excellent, clean & friendly - would definitely & happily order from again.

Total disaster ordered food 3 hours prior for delivery and ended up going to collect it ourselves! No discount not even a can of drink thrown in for good measure. Never again

Recently moved across the road and thought I would treat myself to an Indian which is very rare. Was very pleased with my order the food was by far the best Indian I’ve had couldn’t fault a single thing. The lady serving on front is very polite and chatty even on a busy Friday evening. Will definitely be back.

Not only was the large amount of food we ordered delicious, it was quickly made and the staff were extremely nice and happy to talk to us about the history of the place and showed a pride in their work! Definitely recommend if in the area!

An excellent Indian take away. What was impressive was how vegan friendly this place is. We asked the very helpful lady taking the orders who reassured as as to what dishes we could have, there were lots. My Vgn Bhuna was amazing, hot and saucy - perfect. Will absolutely return here next time in Weymouth. Thank you King Balti team and the lady server 🙏

My wife and myself were on a two day stay at Weymouth and had a superb meal at this restaurant. My lamb dish was tender and beautiful and the same goes for my wife's chicken dish. We had a nice bottle of vino to go with our meal. In short a lovely meal, great service, and a fair price. Next time we're in Weymouth, we'll be back for the same again! Many thanks to the team at The Everest Lounge Restaurant & Bar.

When I was told we were having curry I wasn’t to excited but when you saw the inside it was beautiful. They have a large selection of food and drinks on the menu and they had relaxing music which made the meal much better. The people who worked there were really nice and polite. I didn’t think the toilet was the best but it wasn’t horrible. The meal was lovely and the drinks where very nice as well. The wait for the food wasn’t that long and we had a starter to share out plus drinks before the food came. This was a feeding of 7 and was £166 but i think it’s worth the price. I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant. Thank you for reading.

Excellent meal! We are on holiday from Virginia, in the States, in Weymouth on our way to Cornwall. We stopped in because the menu looked great and the prices were reasonable. Service was quick and food was hot. Very nice waiter and the chef came out to see if we enjoyed everything. So glad we found this place.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Weymouth, The Weymouth Stable is a charming two-story bar and restaurant that boasts stunning views of the working harbour. This rustic venue offers a delightful selection of gourmet pizzas, including gluten-free options, alongside an impressive array of craft ciders that are far from your typical fizzy drinks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, enhanced by candlelight and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Found this place quite by accident after finding the place we were going was closed, and how pleased am I that this was the case. On entering the first staff member asked if we'd booked and when we said not she cheerfully said not a problem and found us a table. That set the mood straight away. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and the food was excellent. They cater really well for vegetarians and vegans and the pizzas range from the classics to some really interesting and unusual toppings. The range of local ciders is fantastic and the knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to guide you through the various characters even offering tasters. The building itself is of interest being an old quayside customs house. All in all, if I lived locally I'd be here all the time... Unfortunately I live four and half hours drive away! Highly recommended. Shame I can't give em six stars!!

Great pizza place with awesome views. Ordering is via an app and you get 20% off the first order so worth using. Service was a little slow, but not a huge issue. Food was fresh and tasty. Left a lasting impression. Cost wise is what one would expect, not a bargain but good value. Would go again
Josh S — Google review
Great pizza's, including gluten free options. Tasty potato wedges and great cider selection. Nice decor, good relaxed atmosphere and nice views over the harbour. Green salad was a little disappointing, but overall a great place to go!
Michael B — Google review
Absolutely amazing pizzas served by friendly staff in a beautiful building and all at a really reasonable price. We went on tuck in Tuesday and got kids pizza with veggie sticks and a drink. 2 pizzas with side salad and 2 halves of cider all for £27.50. absolute bargain. The lady behind the bar was really helpful when choosing the ciders giving us a little taste of a few possibilities before we decided. Really great selection of proper craft ciders. Not that nasty fizzy stuff you usually get served.
El ( — Google review
A wonderful establishment that prides itself on its surroundings. Using local ingredients the food is rich in flavour. We enjoyed our stay here and though it was quite busy on the Sunday night bank holiday the wait was only 15 minutes top. The staff are a bunch of cool guys and the service is quick. The ciders ontap are plentiful and lovely. You can get s cider board if you want to try what they have. The also offer cider tasting days for birthdays or team building days.
Daniel V — Google review
Long tables and benches, with pillars, so warn them in advance if a wheelchair user. Lift or stairs to 2nd floor. Friendly atmosphere. Everything served on boards. Ordered: A Garlic bread with cheese and a vegan garlic bread with cheese, steak pie, Longhorn pizza, Blazing Saddle pizza, and vegan margarita, three soft drinks and a beer. £71.20. Steak pie was excellent as were the pizzas. Cons (being really picky):- Shown to table, but not told that orders are taken at the bar. Drinks a bit pricey(to what I'm used to) PepsiMax £3.60, IPA £4.90 all pints. Would've preferred thicker base and more cheese on pizzas(personnal preference) Would've preferred smaller wedges with pie. Server should've been aware which garlic bread was vegan before reaching the table. Vegan pizza was a bit oily, with an unusual herb or spice, couldn't tell what it was. Overall a pleasant experience.
Lodger's O — Google review
Really relaxed atmosphere, had the Cider tasting board (5 x .3 pints of different ciders). Food came highly recommended, but I unfortunately can't confirm this - the "big jerk" pizza, although rated as "hot" on the menu, was unreasonably hotter than all the others in our group, like being hot for hotness' sake (compared to the other dishes rated as 1 or 2 on the hotness scale, this one was rated a 3 but should have been a 5). Dessert was a disappointment too, as the kitchen had closed already without any kind of notice given, the ice cream available had distinct room for improvement.

After finding this place on Tripadvisor we decided to try it out. On arrived we were pleased that they managed to fit the 4 of us in even though then had a 30th birthday party in. Service was excellent and the food came very quick and we enjoyed the Cider Taster drinks, great idea for sampling the local produce. Would definitely go again and try the pies 😍
