Nature & Parks
Park
Meaher State Park, located less than 10 miles east of downtown Mobile, is a serene nature area offering camping and picnicking spaces, a fishing pier, and a waterfront boardwalk. The park is part of the Coastal Alabama Birding Trail and features gorgeous nature trails for hiking and bird watching. With over 1,300 acres of wetlands to explore, it's an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
First time here. Meaher is a gorgeous state park. It's in close proximity to all kinds of things. Bathhouse/restrooms are clean and comfortable. Sites are spacious and spaced far enough apart. Beautiful views of the bay - at sunrise and sunset. Plenty of gators to be seen. Staff was super friendly. Went straight across the road, to the government building, and got my out of state fresh water fishing license. Full hook-ups uos were nice. The pedestal grill was OK- but the wind kinda makes it hard to grill on it. No fire pits at campsites but with the amount of pine needles carpeting the ground I understand why. No biggie. Be sure and sweep/blow needles off the tops of your slide outside before retracting tem in. Just a suggestion. Overall it is a lovely place and we will be back sometime.

A small but very beautiful park. The facilities (restrooms, showers, laundry) are well kept, the bathrooms being especially clean. They are currently adding new buildings and upgrading the park quite a bit. In addition to the well kept older wash buildings, there is a brand new wash house with each room having toilets, changing table, and shower. They have a brand new loop with paved, level sites; however, there is no shade in the new loop as all the trees were taken out to accommodate the new sites. Hopefully part of the long term plan is to put some trees in that area, as it can get extremely hot and the wind off the bay makes it hard to keep an awning or canopy in place. We struggled a little bit with the water pressure at our full hook-up RV site. The staff was so kind and accommodating, the boardwalk is perfect to catch a sunset. The boat launch is easily accessible to all sites. There is also a fishing pier, which we didn’t utilize but is also conveniently located within the park. The USS Alabama Memorial Park is a 10 minute drive from here, which was part of the reason we booked here to begin with. It’s also got groceries and restaurants nearby.

Came here for homecoming pictures. Absolutely gorgeous view and beautiful sunset. There were a few grasshoppers on the trail part. The park is well-maintained and has a grass pathway that leads to a pier overlooking the bay and causeway. It's really breathtaking.

For our girls trip, we found this park to tent camp while visiting the Mushroom Festival in Fairhope. We stayed at campsite 33, which is just steps from the water and has a little bench under a tree to sit on to enjoy the view of the Bay. There are water and electric at each site. The people here are so friendly and the facilities are clean. There is a coin laundry area, a kayak drop-in & rental, and a dock to walk out on to fish or just enjoy the view! Not every site has tree coverage so make sure if you want to have a couple of trees near you to just look up YouTube reviews that visit each site ... this is what helped me pick site 33 because I wanted to be near the water and have trees around us. We would definitely stay here again!!
L S — Google review
Decided to stay one night while enroute to St. George Island. Park is very clean, sites are nice size, very level. We enjoyed a stroll on the boardwalk and saw an alligator eating its dinner. Showers/restrooms are clean. Each site has picnic table and grill, with full hook ups.
H E — Google review
Great stop for a couple of hours - parked in a small shaded lot by the boardwalk. nice walk over the marsh - birds, turtles. saw lots of signs warning about gators but saw no gators. $3 per person for a day pass and they let us fill up our water tank at an open RV site. thank - you!!
Kelly — Google review
Love it. Always nice people and clean/pretty park. Wish they had a second entrance lane for returning guest to enter without having to wait in line behind the cars checking in, but not a big deal. Also we typically just need to stay one night and they may require two nights during some times. Still 5 star place!
Steve — Google review
This state park is a great place for camping in a tent, or an RV. It offers excellent views of the water, and the majority of the lots have wide spacing between them. There are 2 bathhouses on site that are centrally located to the lots if needed. There is also a dock that is near the entrance offering an opportunity to fish and walk over the water. There is a boat slip that would be great for small boats and canoes and kayaks as well. I took one star away for this review due to a safety issue that seems like it could be very dangerous to those checking in after hours. There is an entrance gate to the park that is closed after hours at night. The issue with the gate is that it is located extremely close to the highway, so if it is closed and you are pulling up to the gate to enter in a passcode, your trailer will be sticking out into the highway while you wait for the gate to open. This is a huge concern of mine as it has the potential to cause a deadly accident at night for those checking in late. If the entrance gate were moved back allowing traffic to pull all the way into the entrance and not stick out into the highway it would be better and safer.

The Five Rivers Delta Center is an educational facility situated in the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta near Spanish Fort, Alabama. Established in 2009 by the Mobile Bay NEP, it offers interactive exhibits that provide insights into the diverse landscapes, ecosystems, wildlife, and environmental issues of the expansive river delta. The center serves as a gateway to exploring over 250,000 acres of wetlands and waterways.
We took the grandchildren on a 1.5 hour Delta cruise and absolutely loved it. The tour guide and the deck hand know their history! The scenery was gorgeous and the weather cooperated well if a little warm. We're ready to book a few more cruises with them when the weather cools off a little more. Great job, guys!

This is a very nice park. It is free and has ample parking. There are nice walking trails along waterways, in woods and wetlands. Their gift shop is closed but all park trails are available. You can canoe or kayak here also, I saw some people do that. The welcome center is nice and they have maps of their trails. I saw birds, butterflies and flowers. It is such a nice free nature park.
Janna R — Google review
My kids (8 & 10) and I spent a few hours here. The buildings had various native animals - both live and taxidermied - to look at. You can take a stroll down to the water behind one of the buildings. There are multiple walking paths available, as well. Be sure to use bug spray beforehand, and the mosquitoes are bountiful and hungry. The gift shop was not open when we visited (April 2025).
Shannon E — Google review
Very well maintained park. Lots of walking trails and the culture center has many cool animals and story boards.

It's hard to do a review of this place... The buildings... The infrastructure.. the gift shop are all great.. Top rate... BUT and it's a big but is that the interpretive exhibits we're very weak... Way there is just was your appetite for sooooo much more but it's just not there. Do however take time to go to the theatre and watch the video... It's absolutely great.

Great experience, we went on the 90 min cruise going through the delta around midday. Not alot of wildlife out at that time due to the heat, the captain suggested doing a morning or evening one for wildlife. The seats on the boat were wood and your back just rested against the railing or if you had a center seat you had no back rest. A bit overpriced for what it was and the seating become very uncomfortable after the first 1/2 hour so be sure to bring a cushion! The Delta center though was wonderful, lots of educational info about the area with live and taxidermy animals plus the delta center was free!
Justin B — Google review
Arrived on a Saturday afternoon, found the visitor centre closed. Drove round the road, the place was deserted. Found a few buildings and were just about to leave when we saw a couple coming out of one so we tentatively went to investigate. Found some good taxidermy displays and information on snakes, some alive some not! The place has great potential but we were uncomfortable being alone in such a large and deserted place.

Eastern Shore Lanes is a fantastic family activity center located in Spanish Fort, Alabama. This 35,000 square foot facility offers a wide range of entertainment options for visitors of all ages. From bowling on one of their 25 lanes to engaging in thrilling laser tag battles and enjoying an extensive arcade with 75 games and attractions, there's something for everyone. The addition of two themed escape rooms adds an extra layer of excitement to the experience.
We hosted a family-friendly corporate celebration for JPAR Gulf Coast at Eastern Shore Lanes and couldn’t be happier. The staff was organized and professional, the food was delicious and well presented, and the event room was beautiful. They represented our brand perfectly, and all the families had a fantastic time enjoying bowling, laser tag, and the arcade. Highly recommend!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my visits to the Eastern Shore Bowling Alley on several occasions. It is a remarkably clean and pleasant establishment, and I am very impressed by its pinball collection. The Stranger Things themed one is particularly enjoyable. Overall, it is a great spot to spend time at.

Love the Eastern Shore Lanes! I have hosted birthdays and work events here, and I am always impressed. They have a fantastic team, a top-notch facility, and are constantly making improvements. Can’t recommend enough.

We had our daughter’s 8th birthday party here and had a great experience. Noah was able to set everything up for me. I didn’t have to lift a finger the whole party. My kid had a great time! Definitely recommend this place for all your birthday parties!!

This past summer my elementary age granddaughters and I went bowling for the first time and it was a totally fun experience. We noticed the construction going on next to the bowling alley so, today I took my younger granddaughter to the go karts While being very to celebrate her 7th birthday!! It was a thrilling experience for her and I was impressed with the staff, the track and the go karts. The staff is very friendly and helpful! While being sociable, they were very professional and very safety minded. I like that different ages have different levels of speed to protect the younger kids. This place is awesome and we will be back for sure!!
Marsha C — Google review
First time here ever, I would come back for sure. Lane 11 got stuck and took them 10ish min to fix it, it was a bit crowed so I could not use another one. But it was fun overall.
Celia N — Google review
Terribly disappointed in the birthday party package. Spent over $400, only 2 friends show up. No problem. We had the bowling package and double Lazer tag. Everything was ok(ish) until lazer tag. We thought we would get the double lazer tag after an hour in the party room and bowling. No, we got 15 minutes and we're rudely kicked out for another party. The other party got over an hour in lazer tag, the friends didnt want to wait and everyone left. So fun to play lazer tag BY YOURSELF. There's young kids as workers that dont care and managers that care even less. Dont even get me started on the arcade where half the games take your money and dont work. Will not return.

We recently held our team’s 4th of July celebration (Kerby Custom Renovations) at Eastern Shore Lanes, and it was a wonderful experience! Hosting a group of 24 can be challenging, but Noah Graham made it seamless and enjoyable. The package we received was fantastic, but what truly stood out was Noah's exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure our team had a great time, attending to every detail with care. The service and activities provided were top-notch, making our celebration memorable. We highly recommend Noah and Eastern Shore Lanes for any event!

Felix's Fish Camp Restaurant is a rustic hideaway located on Mobile Bay Causeway, offering a unique dining experience since its opening in 2002. Despite being slightly old-fashioned now, it remains a popular choice for those seeking delicious seafood, stunning views, and excellent service.
We stopped at Felix’s Fish Camp over the July 4th weekend during our RV adventure, and it was an excellent choice. First off — plenty of space to park our RV and tow car, which made everything easy from the start. The food and service were both top-notch. The oysters were impressively large and full of flavor, definitely a standout. Everything we ordered was fresh and well-prepared, and the staff made us feel right at home. An added bonus was the beautiful view of the battleship across the water — a memorable touch for the holiday weekend. We’ll definitely be stopping here again the next time we pass through the area. Highly recommend!

Coming from out of town I as looking to find something authentic, fresh and full of flavors. The second I seen the building I knew this is what I was looking for. Fell in love with the decor and the food was amazing. Every single plate we ordered was done to a perfection. From the portions served to the flavors. LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACED.

Great meal at Felix’s Fish Shack this evening I had Fried snapper, jalapeño hush puppies, fried green tomatoes and turnip greens and an old fashioned and then ordered a side salad to go with my leftover fish for lunch tomorrow So delicious The server Caleb was very attentive- but not Too much so…and even brought me some honey for my hush puppies (apparently unheard of in these parts). The drink was well mixed and better than the one I had in Kentucky recently. The view is beautiful- I suggest you go early if you don’t have reservations and want to see the view
Robin H — Google review
Absolutely awesome! I stopped by on the way from LA to FL and it blew my expectations out of the water. If you are in the area and are thinking of eating seafood, I fully recommend. Harley was our server and he was awesome as well.
Michael H — Google review
Step back into a time when food was an experience and service was pleasurable. This place has a great laid back ambience with non stop charm. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious and the price tag was very reasonable. I'd suggest a reservation to get a great view, but not necessarily needed. I'll brag on the crab soup as it was one of the best that I've eaten. Extremely rich in both flavor and crab. Whatever you order, expect the best. Enjoy.
Wallace F — Google review
Don't judge a book by its cover, mom always said. That is sound advice for Felix's. While it may not be much to look at, once you are inside, you are in for a great time. From our initial greeting by our host to the seating and introduction to our server, I knew this was an establishment that trains its staff in service. At no time were there any water glasses empty, yet we never felt interrupted. No small feat, to be sure. When it came time to order, no question was left unanswered as the server knew her menu inside and out. We had appetizers and entrees. There were four of us and four servers laid each dish on the table at the same time... from the left. You just don't expect this kind of service from a tourist, off the highway restaurant. The apps and entrees were delicious, and the local beers complimented each. Get there early and find a table with a view. If I ever return to Mobile, Felix's is what's for lunch.
Chris S — Google review
Loved it! Loved the character, views were beautiful. Service was great (Patrick was a great server- always refilling our drinks before asked, great suggestions on food and just interesting to talk to about the area), and the food was delicious! Loved the 1-1-1 (soup flight). House Salad was unique and good.
Susan B — Google review
Over all the best food we’ve had so far in Mobile. The hostess need to control the crowed better. We seen people fighting over tables. Walking out we heard there was an hour wait. Ha not at that rate. Stand at the bar n wait for someone to get up n u have a table. They need better crowd patrol. It wasn’t enjoyable having people stair at u eating. But overall the food was great n the service was great.

The Original Oyster House is a long-standing seafood restaurant in South Alabama, serving simple southern seafood since 1983. Located on Pleasure Islands boardwalk, it offers a laid-back vibe and overlooks Mobile Bay. The 300-seater restaurant serves a variety of dishes including homemade seafood gumbo, alligator bites, southern fried flounder, and bourbon grilled chicken breasts.
Great Grub. Went with a group. Great service. Split a bunch of appetizers...Gator bites (least fishy Gator I have ever had, was very good), crab claws, mud bug tails...all were good. Very fresh salad bar. Had the fire grilled oysters for my entree. They were amazing. Haven't been here in a while...but will most definitely ho back next time we are down this way.

If you want great local seafood, this is the place to go to. Excellent atmosphere. Great views while dining. The peanut butter chocolate chip pie as dessert was amazing!

Cool spot. They have a large playground at ground level and the restaurant upstairs. There is an elevator as well as stairs. The hush puppies were amazing! They have a very small selection of things that are not seafood but my husband enjoyed his shrimp and we both liked the red beans and rice.
Meg S — Google review
Wow, what an excellent meal. From the fiery oysters to the blackened shrimp tacos, we loved everything, and it tasted fantastic. The service was great and very friendly, even though they were jampacked with customers everyone tried to give the best service they could. And the restaurant had a great filled to it make you feel at home and welcome. I would recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be going back again.

We had an amazing experience at Oyster House Restaurant today...we were there celebrating the life of my father-in-law who had just passed. The server, Brandon D, was simply outstanding...meals for 20 people attending were served on time, with courtesy and compassion! The food was delicious and we were so blessed to be together in such an inviting place...we will be back! Frank Barrow

Food was really good and so was the service! We had a couple different seafood platters and everything was awesome. Only complaint I would say is it was a little warm where we sat so I gave the atmosphere 3 stars. Definitely will go back though.

We arrived for lunch on this Wednesday shortly after opening, around 11:15. It filled up very quickly, but we ordered right away and didn’t have to wait very long at all. I always order the coleslaw — it’s so good!

Such a fun restaurant on stilts. The coastline atmosphere was really present in the entire place. Our waitress was wonderful. My on complaint was all the fried food they had which dosing leave much for people who didn’t like fried food. And I could do with more salad dressing options at the bar. The spada bar while overflowing with options and food, could be a little more clean. But just my opinion! Drinks where great!

Geoff was top notch. Knowledgable, friendly, helpful patient and fun! Highly recommend you bring your family! We did the morning 1hour fun and educational tour. Cooler and the alligators are more active Geoff said. We will go again when back in the area for sure.
Neil K — Google review
We had a great experience with Geoff yesterday. We lost count of the number of alligators we saw, including some teeny tiny ones. Geoff was very knowledgeable and entertaining and we enjoyed the thrills our first trip on an air boat. Very fast and smooth! Geoff also pointed us in the direction of a great spot for lunch afterwards. Thanks for some good memories:)
Claire T — Google review
Great experience! It was simple to call and set up a time that worked for our group of 6. It was just us in the airboat and we saw tons of smaller alligators and a couple larger ones, which tend to get more scared and dive in the water. We were also able to pick up some speed, cruise through the water, and drift through several ally ways of water. Much recommended and Britney and Jeff were lovely owners
Tanner H — Google review
Airboat Express is an incredible family run business ! They were responsive and have great customer service . They were able to accommodate our family same day within an hour and half of us calling . Captain Geoff was extremely knowledgeable and just such a kind person! We truly enjoyed our fun run tour so much ! I highly recommend this tour with kids . It was the perfect amount of time for our three year old and you go fast! They are experienced , and we felt extremely safe and comfortable the entire ride . We saw four gators and two together which is uncommon .The scenery was beautiful . Tons of wildlife . We made the right decision with this company and had the best time ! We cannot wait to do this again! Thank you so much for making this a memorable experience!

We loved our tour with Geoff!! We did the 7am ride and it was great!! I've been on multiple airboat rides and this was my favorite!! Saw lots of gators & had some fun!! Highly recommend!! It's worth waking up early!!!

Great tour with Captain Geoff. Showed us plenty of gators (even babies!) and was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area. Our GPS took us in circles so we were late but Geoff and Brittany accommodated us so we still made our tour. Excellent communication and a breeze from start to finish! Next to the Oyster House, great spot for an after ride beer!

First class experience!! Geoff gave my family a ride they will remember forever! Geoff bailed out a father who made a mistake and accidentally booked the airboat ride on the day after we left Mobile Luckily we showed up super early and Geoff was kind enough to save the day with a 5 minute go fast ride that my family loved and will remember forever. I can't thank you enough from the bottom of my heart!

Geoff and Brittany are a great team and it's obvious they are living their dream. We had a great time. Saw gators, birds, ducks, flowers, beautiful scenery. Not sure how you can leave without becoming a fan of the delta. It is relaxing, and exciting at the same time. Geoff is a great informative, knowledgable guide. He can drive the boat as if he is strumming a guitar. Highly recommend.

The Spanish Fort PREMIERE 14 Eastern Shore movie theater offers a clean environment with an excellent selection of films, and it is never overcrowded. Although the seating may be outdated compared to other theaters in the country, the chairs are comfortable overall. The theater provides a safe and enjoyable experience for moviegoers. The staff members are friendly and helpful, adding to the positive atmosphere. On Tuesdays, all-day tickets cost only $5, which is a great feature that they continue to offer.
KPop Demon Hunters was a blast. Loved the sing a Long event...However their concession line moved super slow and no one ever asked to see our tickets.
Myles R — Google review
Going to this theater was like using a time machine to visit 2005. Incredibly outdated and slightly dirty. The seats are small and have very little legroom. If anyone is sitting directly in front of you their seat will most likely touch your shoes. The temperature in the theater itself was uncomfortably hot and muggy. The movie glitched twice, almost like an old CD when it hiccups. The staff members were nice which I appreciated. The people of Spanish fort/Daphne deserve an updated theater with recliner seats! Was visiting the area for a holiday, but in the city I live in almost every theater has full recliner seats - that is standard for theaters in big cities now!
Matthew D — Google review
Really wasn’t a good experience. Just went to watch the F1 movie. The food was overpriced as expected but what wasn’t was how dirty the theatre was. But what made me give this theatre a low score was that every now and then the movie would start flickering and artifacting taking you completely out of the world of the film. Im giving this a 2 because the tickets was around 8 dollars making it probably one of the cheapest tickets you can find at a theatre
Sébastien B — Google review
Do not like using the kiosk to pay instead of cash. The theater was extremely cold when you need a coat to watch a movie. Turn on the heat if you care about your patrons. The movie Sarah's oil was a great movie would have enjoyed so much more if the temperature was more comfortable.
Douglas F — Google review
Usually go to the AMC but I liked the show time at this one, so thought I would give it another try. Employees playing in phones when they should be cleaning the mess on the counters and the floor since it was disgusting. If they had someone in there that could lead their team it could be a great theatre.
Brandon M — Google review
Very old and outdated theater and the fact they DON'T TAKE CASH just makes it even worse. Seats are old and rickety and overall the whole place wasn't super clean. This is our first and last time here. Spend your money at AMC instead.

Went many times before, it's a great theater. On this last visit I tried paying with cash and was told they no longer accept it so make sure you bring a card with you! Update with most recent visit. Things were really dirty this time and the whole place felt dead. Went to the Wind Creek Theater and had a much better time there than I've had here.

It's a great theater; I love the theming but its usually somewhat dirty. I have to agree with the other reviews on that one. Other than that, they show some good movies.

This place is tucked in the back or at least the way Google what is go. Parking lot was not well lit. When you go in like we did as first timers you should just ask for help 😀. After getting settled in with what tickets we should get (staff was very helpful) and socks put on the staff showed us where we could go. The grandkids loved it and they had a place where my wife and I could sit and watch. Plenty of place to run and jump for little ones. They had place for larger kids to play and things to do. Place was pretty clean and the bathrooms were clean at least the family one was. It was $44 for two kids.

My son decided he wanted to go to this place at the last minute for his birthday. After getting off from work I grab some cupcakes and picked up my kids. My son, his sister and 1 of his friends were with me. There are signs that say “no outside food or drinks or cups” in the building, yet you see people bringing in their own cake and treats for birthday parties, as well as Starbucks and Stanley cup . The manager wanted to charge me $50 for a table we are already allowed to sit at and for the 4 of us to eat a $7 pack of cupcakes that we bought because it was considered a walk in party. So basically the message is, if you are spending $300 plus dollars it’s ok to bring your own food and outside cup. Sadly, they lost out on getting more money from me. Instead of buying pizza and drinks during our visit we just waited to spend our money on food else where. This is not the first time I have been to this place. Every time I come, no one is ever there to allow the children on the climbing wall, you also have to go find someone to assist with the sky ride. If I pay for the deluxe pass, i expect my kids to be able to get on everything I paid for and not have to hunt anyone down to do so. Oh, and you might want to tell the manager that it’s not a good idea to vacuum and drag a cord 10 feet around the main walking area where children are running and adults are walking. There wasn’t even a mess to clean, I’m sure a broom and dust pan would worked and been a little more safe for the 20 mins that cord was pulled around.

We had a good time. We went as a family with a 5 year old, 2 adult children and 2 parents. I researched the website and looked at attractions. I also chatted with the help chat specifically about the Spanish fort location. When I arrived the attractions I thought were going to be there were not. Its really hard to get information specifically about this location. Despite that my daughter had an amazing time on the rock walls. We had a family game of dodge ball and a fun time on the trampolines. The tube course was great for my 5 year old. It does seem more geared toward younger kids. The ropes course didnt seem too exciting but no one in our group did it or the sky rider. We will probably go again, but more then likely just so my 5 year old can play, not as a family trip

I took my baby here for her birthday, it was pretty busy once we arrived it was at least a 20 minute wait in line, but enough workers working the front or was only one young lady. She was very sweet and helpful. It was no we're to barely sit but they do have seating area in each setting, I didn't eat in this establishment at all. My baby did enjoy herself until one of the workers was rushing her and her friend on the zip lining. If you come with your little ones make sure to go up with them to make sure it's not happening to them. There is alit of young workers at this establishment also. But if my baby wants to go back we can.

I took my toddler to Urban Air in Spanish Fort, and she loved the slide and the ball pit, it’s definitely a fun concept for kids. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness was very disappointing. Everything felt dirty, with trash scattered around, a noticeable layer of grime, and even balls in the pit had mold and what looked like gum stuck to some of them. Since I was with my toddler, I got a closer look than most parents with older kids might, and what I saw was concerning. On top of that, several areas need repair, the climbing section is falling apart with rips in the safety netting. This place could be amazing if they prioritized cleanliness and maintenance, but as it stands, not so much.
Jesse — Google review
We had my niece's birthday party here today and everything was crap. We had hosted parties for kids here several times before and had always been fairly pleased. But today was awful. The air conditioning wasn't working properly (if at all) in the private rooms area, so it was very warm. While the kids were in the trampoline area, which is the only thing they liked to do, a group of boys aged 12-14 just took over. At first, they were lying all around with drinks on the trampolines. Then, they began playing chase and tag in the area, as well as turning flips and wrestling - all against the posted rules. They had no adult supervision, and no employees were anywhere to be seen. Several times, I told the boys to stop running, but they didn't. So I went to the front to report them, but that did no good. The only staff members I saw appeared to be teens themselves, so the troublemaker kids ignored whatever the staff told them. The staff should be constantly patrolling the entire facility, and older staff members need to be employed and on duty at all times. We have already decided that this was the last time we will use this facility. The lack of parental supervision, as well as the lack of supervision from employees, made this outing somewhat dangerous for the small kids with us. We will not be back.
Steven S — Google review
We took our 5-year-old grandson on Columbus Day 2025. The staff were friendly, and the cost was fair. However, the sign stating you must use their socks seems questionable — are other trampoline park socks really not good enough, or is this just a money grab? The place was ice-cold, so definitely bring a jacket! Some of the padding around the white-ball jump area needs to be replaced, and the lighting is terrible, making it hard to keep an eye on your children. We’ve been to Mullet Hop and Formula Fun in South Mississippi, and found both to be more comfortable and family-friendly overall.
Bobby P — Google review
This place is a great idea, and a lot of fun to go and visit for my daughter. Overall there was a lot to do here and plenty of options for play depending on the price point that you choose. For seven years and younger you can get them a regular play pass and let them jus run wild. Sadly there is a lot of wear and tear on everything. The ball pit had sections with tons of wear on them, or plastic coming up out of the pit. Some of the padding is missing or worn down as well. Cleanliness is also a big issue. There was food and cups everywhere. We didn't bring in our own food, but as other reviews mentioned everyone here does and no one says anything about it or cleans it up. The bathrooms were some of the worst we have seen in a kids place for the price they charge. Great concept, lots of fun, but a few stars off for wear and tear on safety padding and cleanliness.

Nice place to stop for dinner and a movie on your road trip. If coming from the highway, be mindful of the locals who drive slowly and lackadaisically through the streets. We are very slow-paced and laid back here. Enjoy your trip!

This complex boasts a wide array of amenities, including shopping centers, a lovely central park, and a cinema. It has indeed seen considerable enhancements since its initial launch. I would certainly suggest visiting Barnes and Noble, along with the Hallmark shop situated nearby, as they offer some rather unique merchandise.

Fun place to take a date. Very safe due to low diversity and police station beside the movie theater. They just installed a track next to the bowling alley. But if you seek more casual fun i recommend Barnes & Noble or Southern Outpost (gun store across the main street). Have a blast and shop local!

BLUEGILL Restaurant is a rustic waterfront hangout located on the Mobile Bay Causeway, offering stunning sunset views and live music entertainment. This casual dining spot has been serving fresh Gulf and bay seafood since 1958, alongside an eclectic array of musical genres from Southern rock to 1940s big band and swing music.
There is no other place better than blue gill in the mobile Alabama area. Starting off walking into the bluegill restaurant the atmosphere was so amazingly unique. Then the food was really good and filling for a good price. But finally what made our night was meeting Shelly at the oyster grill near the entrance. I highly recommend the bluegills restaurant but don't forget to meet Shelly!

We had a great experience here the service was above and beyond, The wait staff was super friendly.. 😊 I had 🐟 Black& Maui Maui 🐟 hush puppies and fries. We had a great visit today! Megan and Kendall took great care of us. The view was awesome, and the vibe was perfect. My fiance and I split a platter, and we were both full by the end. There's also a nice place to sit that overlooks the water.

We had a party of 8 for the outdoor seating. We paid the extra $5 each to enjoy the live musicians. The music was fantastic! There were 3 dudes playing acoustic and they sounded like Pearl Jam. Why are these guys in a little restaurant and not playing sold out venues? Idk. Anyway! The service was good. Negatives, I apologize for being negative Nancy. For starters, we had to request to get actual silverware that was not plastic. I don't even mean the durable plastic kind, either. It was the REALLY flimsy kind. We ordered the appetizer Peel and eat shrimp which had a terrible consistency. The shrimp was mushy. We didn't know if it was old or overcooked. He ordered the blackened shrimp. Same problem. I ordered the special with a fish upgrade to red snapper(?) With a crabcake and shrimp. This jacked the price quite a bit. It was the same with the shrimp and the fish and everything else was so salty, it made me feel totally sick. I took about 5 bites and couldn't eat any more. Him and I dropped 129 bucks just for us, yet, I couldn't eat it. I felt really bad. I could not even eat the leftovers because, it was just too much salt. We had others who, later on said they had the same problem with it being way too salty- and not eating their leftovers either. The environment was cozy. It doesn't look high dollar, but it was like visiting old friends sort of feel. A little overpriced imo. The gratuity was quietly added because of the size of our party but, that is standard practice in my experience. Just making sure to warn others in larger parties since it was not obvious if you weren't looking for it.

First of all I will just say its a beautiful scenery and the staff was very pleasant. I decided to sit outside at the bar for lunch. It was very busy. My first thought was there is only one bar tender struggling to keep up. He did very u well and was very polite and attentive. I ordered a half n half basket with the fried oysters and fried shrimp with fries. When my food came out I l9oked at the plate and there were 5 fried little pieces of oyster and 4 very small shrimp with a basket of fried. I feel like 16 dollars should have definitely given more food. It was disappointing. The oysters tastes pretty good however the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. Fries were fine however thats not what I came for.

So know that this review will be coming from a native New Orleanian before reading so that you have some context. Now with that out of the way...GOOD GOD FLAMING OYSTERS!!! They combined the succulent flavor profile of Chargrilled Oysters with the smoky goodness of a good barbecue. In short, the best oysters I've ever tasted! Our server, Hunter, was kind and attentive in spite of dealing with some unexpected restaurant issues that he made sure we as his customers didn't even feel. Next i got the Bluegill platter... with Redfish! My favorite fish fried delicately, seasoned perfectly and presented before me was a true highlight of the meal. If you're in the area, come for the fantastic oysters, shrimp and fish and return for excellent service and an inviting atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

We visited this place on a Sunday. We had a party of 19 (including kids). We had to wait for about 1.5 hours for a table because they dont take reservations after 2pm. The manager was able to get seated after about an hour. There was a large party that showed up right before us. The food was good. We ordered a variety of things. The service was kind of slow, but the waitress was nice and kept our drinks refilled until our food arrived. We waited for a while to receive the check. This was also their concert season, so the band was playing outside.

It sort of fits the bill of what you’re asking for if you’re looking at a place like this. Everything is over fried to within an inch of its life but is it good? Yeah it tasted great. Portions are solid for the prices, staff are welcoming and friendly. There’s plenty of seating and parking. No dishes stood out as better than a 7.5, it was all well-cooked, just not great.

This was our second time going to this restaurant heading back from a vacation in Florida. The first time being about a year ago becuase we live In Mississippi. My husband and I split the $40 seafood platter which was a great amount for us and my daughter had the crawfish that was $6.99 a pound my youngest had the French fries for $3 she’s my picky one! I also enjoyed 2 glasses of wine which was a great pour at $8 a piece. We ended dinner with the Chocolate Lava Cake for $5.99. My daughter loved it because it was just like Chilis! Our server Dominice was the best service we had all vacation. Ending it on such a positive note! He brought my youngest daughter’s French fries out super fast knowing she was hungry! He always made sure my family had refills and even noticed our paper towels were getting low without us even mentioning it bringing us a new one and had a smile on his face the whole time!

The USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. This park is home to the iconic USS Alabama, a WWII-era battleship that played a crucial role in the war and earned the nickname "Heroine of the Pacific." Visitors can explore this historic vessel on a self-guided tour and also check out the USS Drum, the oldest U.S. submarine on public display. The park also features an Aircraft Pavilion showcasing over 28 historic planes from various wars.
This was one of the most interesting trips I’ve taken my sons on. From the depths of the ocean to way above the clouds, we explored every inch and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. You will be amazed at all the different things they have to look at. We will be back.
Latara M — Google review
Battleship USS Alabama is a pretty immersive experience! The walk through three different levels of the inards of the ship lead guests through a maze of galleys, rooms, and halls that make it not too difficult to imagine a small picture of what it must have been like traveling and serving inside the ship. Amazing sacrifice and bravery of our American servicemen and women! There are plenty of things to read and learn about the active time the battleship was used to defend our country, and how many things that were brought on-board to make quarters more livable for our military, from post office, dentist and doctor office, barber, solitary confinement, pantry and kitchen w/ extensive services for food, laundry, a little recreation, and just how much of an adjustment it must have been to live in such close quarters! A good deal of sleeping being done in hanging hammocks with only officers having small private rooms with beds. Of course there are written historical accounts, preserved artifacts, plenty of artillery shells, short videos of missions, informative write-ups about nearly every room in every section of this battleship! A truly interesting experience and one note is the heavy scent of oil-based paint that permeates the interior of the whole ship, adding to the experience. Some tight hallways and steep stairways, and in some areas, it's important to keep track of where you are and stay on the colored/painted trail. So much to see inside AND outside the Battleship USS Alabama! If you care to read some of the signs and historical accounts, it'd be easy to spend 2 or more hours exploring this ship alone, not to mention all the planes, jets, cars and other vehicles and things inside the grounds of the aircraft hangar and property. Adults pay $18 to see everything on property, including the battleship and submarine, and it's well worth it. Restrooms are inside the hangar museum, and there's a cafe on property for refreshments/meals, if you need. We visited in May before most children were out of school and it was not crowded. Very educational, historical, and enjoyable visit!

This is an awesome museum ship. Immaculately maintained and the self guided tours are very well organized. There are living history demonstrations as well and volunteers are available to answer questions. It was an incredible feeling to look at those massive guns and know that those weapons actually defended freedom in some desperate times. I highly recommend this place.

This was awesome! I had no idea before visiting that this was in a few movies. I visited when it was raining and it gave it a bigger wow effect. It was pretty cool to see the different areas. I would love to go back. I definitely will. The museum before going on the ship is worth seeing with a bunch of history. It is very well out together and I believe the kids I saw there were equally as fascinated.

What an awesome display of USA firepower and ingenuity. The displays of tanks, and aircraft, along with the the submarine are impressive, but the show stealeris definitely the "Big A" herself. The USS Alabama was amazing! My son and I went on the self guided tour, and were not disappointed in the slightest. Starting on the Main deck, you soon make your way down into the boat. It takes you through the various and volumous areas below deck. From the machine shops, to galleys, the hospital, marines quarters, the brig, and even inside the massive, 4 story high, triple 16" gun turrets. Such an amazing walk through such an important ship in our country's history. Definetly not handicap friendly as there is a lot of climbing and descending multiple steep ladders. So totally worth the 15 dollar admission, if only to look at the battleship, and then see everything else as well is a real bonus. In order to maximize your ability yo see it all, come early when they open, and plan to stay all day. They have a niceluttle Cafe where you can break mid-day to rest and refuel so you can see it all.
Lucas T — Google review
This was so interesting! To get the full experience, you need to be able to climb up and down many, many very steep ladder-stairs. I am pain disabled and have BPV (vertigo), but I just went slowly with my husband behind me. I also didn't climb into many of the tight spaces that are available to explore. There are handicapped accessible areas to explore, but it's a fraction of the ship. It is very easy to get disoriented. Just follow the tour color and number tags. There are volunteers in a few places to help enrich the experience with fantastic stories and information. The gentlemen we met were Naval Veterans. Make sure that you have an entire day. We didn't arrive until 1 PM and were almost the last folks off at 5 PM. We didn't get to explore the submarine or planes/copters. We just didn't allow enough time. For babies/toddlers, this isn't going to interest them and there are quite a few areas that are not safe for small children. I'd say 6-8 and up, depending on interest and level of energy.
Laura U — Google review
Unfortunately we couldn't find the submarine. Turns out this little lane must have went back to it but there was a golf cart camped sideways and it the whole time so we assumed back there was just maintenance. Everything else was pretty cool. My husband didn't want to go without me and I can't climb ladders or steps etc but just going around and seeing everything driving around and looking was very very interesting. My husband was very happy with the visit. What I was aggravated with but was not the fault of the park....two different pickups decided to park directly almost against what looked like well it was a reconnaissance plane all black super cool I'll post pictures but was really aggravated somebody thought that the half empty parking lot wasn't good enough they needed to park in front of the most interesting plane there.

It’s the oldest Roman Catholic parish on the Gulf Coast.. established in 1703, just two years after Mobile was founded. A very beautiful church!

Beautiful cathedral in nice part of downtown mobile. Very walkable.

I loved attending the service here. The message was very heartfelt and meeting people here was great to see so many people filled with the Holy Spirit. This is the oldest parish and religious center in the whole area. The Cathedral has been preserved extremely well. I would love to come back here on a Sunday.

Beautiful, peaceful and also historical cathedral. I enjoyed seeing the stained glass windows that were custom made in Germany. A small garden around the Cathedral is worth walking around, well maintained and serene.

The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico, also known as GulfQuest, is a unique educational museum located in downtown Mobile, Alabama. It offers over 90 interactive exhibits that cover various aspects of the maritime heritage of the Gulf of Mexico. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities such as navigating ships, loading cargo, and experiencing simulations related to marine life and coastal environments. The museum also features theaters where guests can watch films on topics like WWII history and port navigation.
We were just starting to explore new and interesting places, and stopping into the National Maritime Museum was the perfect choice! This place was absolutely wonderful—spotlessly clean, filled with fascinating exhibits, and offering some really beautiful views. What truly made the experience stand out were the volunteers. They were so friendly and welcoming, taking the time to share insights and stories that made everything even more engaging. It’s totally worth the stop! We loved every second of our visit and highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Had a really nice evening at Bourbon on the Bay...met some really nice people that enjoy some of the same things I enjoy, sampled some nice bourbon/whiskey a couple of which were exceptionally smooth, this was a nice event ,perfect way to cap off a Sunday evening 👍🏾

My friend and I went on a weekday. It was the middle of the day on June day. There is a cover charge but it's not too bad. There are elevators and ramps for handicapped or people with difficulty climbing stairs. There are 4 floors with many displays and hands on exhibits. I'm 68 years and I enjoyed the museum very much. There is a lot to see for old and young alike. I may go back but probably on a day that's cooler. It got warmer as we went higher but it was still bearable on a hot summer day. If you are looking for a family oriented museum this would be the pace to go. Any complaints I have are minor. It is on the waterfront and hard to get to. There is a restaurant on the bottom floor that is little high on the prices. The admission prices for a family can be high depending on how many are with the family. There were a few exhibits not working or under construction

Very cool museum. My 4 kids, who range from 1 to 7, had a lot of fun. I wish I would have known they offered a military discount.

Beautifully maintained, clean, informative and air conditioned. Wheelchair accessible. They even have a limited number of wheelchairs available for use at no fee! Fun interactive displays and special children exhibits. Very pleasant 2 hours and the staff was great!

A great stop off I-10 in the port city of Mobile, Alabama is the GulfQuest National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico. This ship-shaped museum is filled with both low and high tech interactive exhibits. Kids and adults are sure to enjoy learning about ship navigation, cargo shipping, and maritime travel. There are five decks of displays, interactives, and lookouts. It offers a good mix of information, stories, and hands-on learning to explore the world and history of ships. We especially loved learning about different signal flags, knot tying, and simulated driving of different vessels. I f you’re passing through Mobile, this is a great stop!

This is such a wonderful place to go. It has interactive activities for the kids. Beautiful views and the event I went to was very informative. I would love to see them bring something in on dinosaurs, sharks, or even the holocaust. There is a lot of space that could be utilized and make so much more fun. Just call ahead and make sure there are no field trips attending that day. That is the only thing that makes it hard for individuals to enjoy. It is a wonderful opportunity for the kiddos from school, and they need to see it, but individuals may have a harder time getting to see anything when the schools are there.
Marie H — Google review
Easy to get to. Great parking. Ramps and elevators to reach the levels. Had a great variety of interactive stations. Sadly, several were not working. The ones that were working were a lot of fun. They have a great children's area. The docents were friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a volunteer docent, named Fred, who was a true pleasure to talk with. We actually stayed here all day and enjoyed our time. Their Coast Guard art exhibit was well put together.

Museums
The History Museum of Mobile is housed in a 19th-century Italianate city hall and marketplace, originally built in 1855. It boasts over 117,000 artifacts from the city and surrounding region, offering insights into Mobile's history from its Indigenous beginnings through periods of slavery and civil rights. The museum features permanent exhibits such as an original Confederate ship cannon, a gallery showcasing Southern luxury items, and detailed miniature houses.
Lovely building, awesome exhibits and very interesting stories. Loved the carriages, the canoe, the Mardi Gras displays, the history of industry in Mobile, and the more modern additions! The building itself is historic and still holds city meetings to be considered one of the oldest city halls still in operation. The statues and the photos of Mobile show the early times of Mobile and its development, and even showcases some remnants from prehistoric time that have been found nearby.
Victoria K — Google review
We have come to this museum several times now for photoshoots and love it! The checkered floor to the staircase are stunning. Staff is also super sweet and great with communication. If you're wanting photos done and want a different vibe, highly recommend coming here!
Madysin G — Google review
This is now one of my favorite museums and I would love to go back to visit soon. I was in town nearby for work and a solo vacation. I visited on a weekday at non-peak hours, so it was quiet which made for an enjoyable exploration. I learned quite about about Mobile and had no idea of its history or significance regarding the formation of the country. I was so pleasantly surprised to see an area dedicated to the Clotilda ship because it led to Africatown in Mobile. I think that section needs to be expanded into a larger exhibit for guests to learn more about its significance. I appreciate that some exhibits are interactive and engaging to help visitors connect with the history. The sound effects and music were a nice touch to transport you back in time for the horse carriage exhibit. I wish the gift shop were bigger with a larger selection, given the museum's size and it being connected to the welcome center. I'd love to support by purchasing merchandise unique to the area and reflective of a guest's experience of touring the museum. The exterior of the museum has a striking design and it's connected to the Mobile Welcome Center, which is perfect for those visiting or new the the city. You can go right next door and learn about the city's history. It's also the meetup for a trolley tour of the city. Unfortunately, on the day I visited, the museum was closing 30 minutes early in preparation for a law enforcement parade happening downtown. So I missed seeing some exhibits. I realize, I need a full day to enjoy this two-level museum because I spent an hour on just half of one floor immersed in the exhibits. I recommend about 3-4 hours to fully explore all the exhibits. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this museum. I'm glad I got to explore some of it during my trip. Learn something new and see Mobile in a new light.

We bought a 1 day Mobile multiattraction pass and went here with plans to see just the fort. The museum was excellent. I wish we had planned more time here. The fort is included in the ticket. The museum is very well arranged. Easy to understand complex historical perspectives. The ship building area was very, very well done.

This museum was pretty cool. My 4 boys enjoyed their time there. They have a discovery room on the second floor. Our admission was free because we are military. They also offer free admission to people with EBT benefits.

Lots of interesting things to see here. The miniature houses were amazing. Also the history of mobile from early settlements through the fights between the British, Spanish, French, and Indians for the territory was interesting. They even threw in some Mardi Gras!

We visited this museum on a rainy Sunday. It was a pleasurable visit, and we learned quite a bit about Mobile's history, including its role as the first permanent settlement on the Gulf Coast, and the first to celebrate Mardi Gras.

Colonial Fort Condé, originally constructed in 1723, has been reconstructed to showcase historic artifacts and exhibits. The Conde-Charlotte Museum, Mobile's first courthouse and jail turned house museum, offers a tour featuring period furnishings, antiques, and artifacts reflecting the city's diverse history under French, English, Spanish, Confederate, and American control. The museum displays various rooms representing different historical periods.
My wife and I had a wonderful time visiting the fort on Saturday November 16th 2024. There happen to be re-enactment in progress concerning the Revolutionary period. The staff and actors were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit to the fort. Buy a all in one pass if you are in the area for more than one day.

Fort Conde in Mobile is a historic and cultural landmark that offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the city’s colonial past. Located in the heart of downtown, this reconstructed 18th-century French fort provides both educational and immersive experiences for history enthusiasts, families, and tourists alike. The site is compact but thoughtfully designed, with informative displays, period architecture, and interpretive panels that detail Mobile’s early history, military life, and French colonial influence.
Owen U — Google review
I would personally not pay for this because this is not the original fort. But the first Sunday of every month it is free to visit so take advantage of that. I love historic forts because of the actual bricks and mortar used. I like to touch historic forts and imagine what the soldiers experienced but the original one was destroyed here. A few bricks at the park next door are still there.

The Richards-DAR House Museum in Mobile, Alabama is a prime example of Italianate style architecture from the 19th century. Built in 1860 by steamboat Captain Charles G. Richards, this well-preserved house is adorned with a cast-iron facade depicting the four seasons and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Nice place and interesting things to see. The history of the building has nothing to do with the DAR but still a nice place to check out if you’re inclined. They offer tea and cookies at the end of your tour. My pics give an idea of the location relative to the downtown area.

A onetime town, this 1,400-acre wooded riverside park now offers camping, hiking & Civil War events.
It's such a lovely state park with so much history! It is very well maintained and I can't wait to camp here! The walking trails are very nicely marked to let you know if they are hiker/bike/horse safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful and also provided us with a map. I have more trips planned and can't wait to come back!

Very peaceful, safe and quiet place to camp. Bath houses are brand new and very clean. Love riding the bicycles here, and there's so much to do in the surrounding areas. Gorgeous Mobile Bay is right in the background down by the Riverwalk. I could sit here all day.

This is one of my favorite places to camp. Been coming for 3 years and I still feel like I haven't explored everything. Great place if you love history. I always stay in the Harper loop, Delta is also nice if you want electricity, its just more in the open. I've also driven around the RV sites and they look great. Also have nice cabins. Bathrooms are alright, not the best not the worst, but generally clean. I few signs could use updating, however they've done a lot of improvements this past year. They always give my dog a treat at check in. Also yes this is nature. You will see animals. I've seen racoons, cats, many frogs, deer, and some really cool lizards. Love this place and will be back again and again!

Beautiful park with TONS of history. Trails throughout the park with lots of bike trails, horse trails and walking trails. The view of the sunset near the kayak launch is absolutely beautiful. Staff is also very friendly and campsites are well kept with clean bathrooms and showers on site. Well worth the visit!

The park is very big with lots of trails to explore. Beware of spiders they are the most prevalent thing you will see, sometimes blocking paths. But other than that it is perfect. We'll kept. Wide variety of wildlife and plants. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to be out in nature with plenty of shade and beautiful sights. Bathrooms and trash cans are plentiful. Also historical things to see. Have fun!!
Matthew E — Google review
We did the Delta Discovery Tour at midday. This tour is recommendable for keen bird enthusiasts not for visitors that like to see active wildlife. As the water is very shallow and brown there is not much to see. The crew gave a lot of information about history and bird life. Sometimes it was hard to understand their accent for us Europeans. We did other cruises in Florida and they were cheaper and much more to see.
Susanne H — Google review
Great place to visit with the family. Beautiful hiking and MTB trails. 4 stars because the map they hand out for the trails is not 100% accurate (use Strava or the trailforks app to navigate) and there were a few areas that still need repair. There was evidence of many repairs recently made, so I’m sure they are on schedule to be repaired soon. The RV sites are very nice. Ample parking and maneuvering space, relatively screened from adjacent sites. The park managers do a good job of spacing people out. :)

Humdingers Sports Lounge & Gaming Co. is a popular video arcade that recently received a visit from an enthusiastic individual and their son. The owners of the establishment were friendly and accommodating, even though they were busy attending to other customers and working on renovations. The overall atmosphere of the place was fantastic, making it an enjoyable experience for both gamers and non-gamers alike. This individual's son had such a great time that he is already looking forward to celebrating his 11th birthday there.
HIGHLY suggest a party here for your kiddo! Reasonable prices, amazing owners and staff, excellent food, and overall a great experience for my son’s 9th birthday. Super happy to have them as another party option in the area!

I wanted to do something for my children that are 21, 20 and 15. Something they could do together and have fun. This was a wonderful option!! The young lady working was very kind and worked with them using VR for the first time. They had games they could play together or solo. They did a little of both and talked about their experiences later. I loved that they encourage you to record your loved ones gaming. We had a few funny jump scares I caught on video that we laughed at all night. It's not easy finding things everyone enjoys doing together but the diversity offered here is awesome!

Fairways Indoor Golf Club, INC. is an impressive indoor golf course that offers a fantastic experience for families and individuals alike. Only place I know of in Mobile to play inside golf. They have a bar to get drinks but didn't offer real food, just some snacks. They had four simulators. We went on a Thursday and didn't have to wait. My only real complaint was we paid for an hour, the machine froze up a couple of times and they kept the clock running while we waited for the attendant and while she was fixing it. A little steep on price but if it's raining or very hot it gives you another option.

I have a blast every time I'm at Fairways. They have a great craft beer selection and the golf simulators provide great feedback for working on your swing, or you can just go and have a good time while enjoying the awesome graphics and wide range of courses. What's better than drinking a good beer and hitting golf balls? Not much... and now you can do it when it's dark or when it's raining outside!

Jumpin' Jellybeans, an indoor play area, provided a delightful experience for a mother and her daughter. The staff members were exceptionally generous and attentive towards the children. They were observed actively sanitizing the play area, which was refreshing for the mother. An added bonus was the complimentary delicious coffee offered at this hidden gem. The kids are already eager to return to this sensory-friendly venue suitable for a 3-year-old with ASD.
We really had such a great time here! The play area is gated in & is small enough where you can see your child from all angles & still big enough for them to run around & play. The play area is gated so no one can just walk in w/out walking past the staff. I felt comfortable running to the restroom while he stayed in the play area. They have a nice cafe area for the adults where you can bring your own snacks. They have a nice little change room as well. The place is ridiculously clean which was really lovely. The staff was wonderful! They were super engaging with both guardians & kids. They called every kid by name & engaged with each one. I think what I enjoyed the most is that the place really is for the small tots; unlike other chain places where the ages vary widely, I liked that there were no BIG kids running over the littles. Even though the building itself was in a strip mall, it was super easy to find. It's around a lot of shopping & restaurants, so no need to drive around trying to find things to do. We stayed about 3 hrs & I'm sure my baby would've played another 3 if we didn't have to get on the road. Great place to check out, was worth the 1.5 hr drive to see my child truly enjoy himself! Thank you all!

Staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful and kind. Sensory friendly place for my 3 year old ASD - 2 child. Party room was set up in cafe. Had two “other” tables (food and gift for us) cake table, 3 long tables for eating. They had a high chair. Super clean, safe place.

For $23 my daughter and I had a BLAST at jellybeans!! The employees were so generous and very caring of the children. we spotted employees actively sanitizing the play area throughout our stay and THAT was a breathe of fresh air for this mama. The FREE yes I said FREE coffee yall is to die for. My kids are already asking to come back. We will be back and I am so glad we found this hidden gem!

Trellanee is extremely unprofessional and rude, we were there for over an hour and she never got off her phone talking to someone on speaker. Kids were running and hurting eachother and throwing blocks and balls, gate was left open multiple times and she would yell for the kids to come and close it for her. This was our second time coming to play and the first time was great. But if this is the new environment maybe it’s not for us. Couldn’t even go to the bathroom because kids were playing hide and go seek and wouldn't leave the bathroom.
Buster B — Google review
Great place and reasonably priced. It was $30 for 2 adults and 1 child. I totally understand their business model and if they charged any less, I doubt they would make a profit. We stayed for about 2 hours and our little guy didn't want to leave. The changing room, the coffee bar, and the jelly beans were very thoughtful and a nice touch. I love the policy that lets you come back after eating or shopping. It would be nice if they incorporated a juice dispenser and vending machine for snacks in the back. Also maybe another couch or two. My family will definitely be back!

Edit 6/21/23 I just wanted to say that JB is one of two employees I've ever seen leave the desk. He was very warming, welcoming, kind, and a very hard worker. The only employee I've seen actively cleaning and enforcing the rules for the kids' safety. Continuously moving and making sure parents and kiddos are all doing well. Many of the former employees would barely even greet you. He's the single best employee I've ever met here and deserves 15 awards and raises!!!!!! This place was really fun! At first it seems underwhelming, but there are so many fun things for the kids to do. Free tea/coffee for adults, very clean, changing room, nursing room, and "cafe" in the back to eat your food. My ONLY complaint is the price. It's $15 a kid and $5 for parents? Parents getting charged seems silly to me. I thought maybe it was for the socks, but everyone turns them in at the end so it's just a random $5. I've been to places similar and the price point was way more reasonable for similar entertainment. We'll go back, but not something we can afford regularly.
