New Digha Beach is cleaned and gives a fantastic experience. There was a high Tide when I visited the beach so unable to go close, clicked pictures from far. The beach is always crowded and there are plenty of food options available. There is also a market available from where you can buy all the cool stuff of Beach. There are also some sports available and horse ride you can enjoy.

Peaceful sea beach There are few small cashews store and local sweets shop where we bought some local food items. Street vendors also sell some local jewelleries made up of shells of molluscks. There are also few shops of pizza, burgers etc shops and other dinettes. One can listen to the sound of sea and enjoy the beautiful beach view here.

Good Beach but ROCKY 🪨 The water comes down during evening around 5:30 pm that time sand ⛱️ will be visible after water level comes down, be careful of the rocks while getting down. Beach has WATER-PARASAILING 🛥️🪂 , Boating 🚤 rafting Adventures, The Adventure Bay Parasailing costs around ₹1550 for single and ₹2500 for double. The price of everything is higher than MRP here at beach. Water Bottle 1 Litre = ₹20, 2 litre=₹30, flake cigarette 🚬 = ₹8, Tea = ₹15, and Toto if you get on a toto ₹100! You have to reserve the whole toto only no matter 1 person or 5 person. ₹100 if you want to go to old digha from new Digha, or want to go to digha station or want to go jaganath dham! The tourists made the place so dirty although authorities working hard to keep the city clean and spread cleanliness awareness! There are various hotels and restaurants. A good resturant with reasonable price is Hotel Amantran where standard rice and rui fish meal costs ₹80. Also you will get good fried 🍤 fish 🐟 prawns 🦐 lobsters 🦞 crabs 🦀 tuna, squid 🦑 in the evening ready to serve snacks

Being an elderly person, usually l don't go on rope car but here l took a ride and was happy with the experience.Reasonable entry tickets welcome many visitors to this park.Though a small park, you have all the facilities.... children play area, washroom, walking trails.... colourful flowers and greenery,water bodies and the gentle breeze in the evening attracts visitors throughout the year.

Rope way is available inside the Amrabati Park, Digha. Charges for adult is 80/- per person. Online payment available for it. Total riding time including to and fro is 10 minutes, they just round the small lake inside the park. Good initiative I can say, at least it can irradiate your fear so that you will feel easy when you ride rope way in hilly area.

An spacious well-equipped and nicely maintained place. Its museum and live galleries are nicely managed. However, looking for a guide who would narrate the intrigues of displays on physics. Beside, cafeteria is also worth mentioning. I thank its staff who supplied ice for my niece's wrenched elbow.

The Marine aquarium and the museum is an excellent attempt of the scientific community towards spreading of knowledge. The aquarium needs immediate attention, maintenance and restoration. The museum is very well maintained. All specimens labelled and nicely displayed. Wide variety collections of the marine life forms is a delight for the children and the adults.. The best part of this museum come aquarium is that the entry fee is nill. It is highly appreciated that they could afford to keep the place free of any entry cost The authorities, it seems taking up the renovation work. Wish them all the success and more visitors in future

Marine Aquarium and Regional Centre (MARC) is an Aquarium maintained by Central agency. There is no entry fee, you can enter it without any tickets. You just have to enter your details in the register. Open from 10am- 6pm. It is closed on Tuesday. We found several tanks empty (Under maintenance). Remaining tanks were all good ! We saw several marine species there. We saw snails walking for the first time. There is also another gallery & museum which shares models, photos, etc. The skeleton of a whale kept outside is a major attraction. Remember: Photos and videos is strictly prohibited inside the museum, please respect it.

A few more active exhibits or marine species would definitely make the experience more engaging. That said, it’s still a nice and peaceful spot to visit, especially if you’re interested in aquatic life or just looking for a quick, relaxing stop while in Digha. With a bit more attention and maintenance, it could become one of the more attractive places in the area.

This place is nice. The skeleton of the whale is the main attraction of this place. The place needs to be taken care of by the government. Most of the aquariums are dirty and not properly maintained. Many aquariums are empty. There is not any fan or AC , just two stand fans, which are not enough for those two big hall rooms. The absence of AC or any other types of ventilation system, makes this place hot and suffocating.

It's an aquarium house filled with marine and sweetwater fishes at the Railway station to new Digha road.Good place to visit especially with young kids .This place is nice.Great experience, new galleries are well maintained. Very good place to visit. You can gather vast knowledge about marine life. But unfortunately it is closed now. The renovation work is in progress. So you can not visit. From April 2025,the work has been started, and it will be closed till further notice.

When comparing the two nearby beaches—Old Digha and New Digha—Old Digha beach stands out as the better option. New Digha beach, on the other hand, is filled with large rocks, which make swimming or walking along the shore quite difficult and even risky in places. Despite that, New Digha has its own appeal—it boasts two large and beautifully maintained parks. These green spaces provide a refreshing change from the beach and are great spots for families, children, or anyone looking to unwind amidst nature. Overall, while the sea may not be ideal, the amenities, boat rides, and contrasting features of Old and New Digha beaches make the area worth exploring.

Great Beach. For the first time visitor( not so crowded like Chennai and Mumbai, beaches,) no car parking in other locations, finally we reached this location near to the sea beach with sufficient parking space.

Digha Beach is one of the most famous beaches in West Bengal, and a lot of people come here from both West Bengal and Odisha. The beach gets very crowded, especially on weekends. The sea water is not very clean, so if you are planning to bathe, be careful while entering the water. There are stones in the shallow area, and it suddenly gets deep, which can hurt your legs. So take care while going in and coming out of the sea. Apart from this, the beach is nice to spend time at. There is boating available, and you can enjoy a boat ride. Outside the beach, there are many food shops where you can try local food. Hotel prices are a bit high. We were six people and stayed for about 5-6 hours during the daytime, and they charged us ₹3500. We checked 5-6 hotels, and all were charging almost the same. So if you are planning to visit with your family on weekends, it is better to book a hotel in advance. Nearby, there is Jagannath Dham, which you can also visit. Overall, we enjoyed our trip a lot.

The equipment and science models are not properly maintained. The place has huge potential. It can be made better. However outside it is not so crowded and there is plenty of parking if you take your own vehicle.

Very nice place for Kids to spend a few hours. It provides 3D Show, Space and Astronomy Show, Numerous Scientific Experiments for kids. Several activities for Kids are also present. One can enjoy snacks, lunch, dinner also.

Digha Science Centre is one of the beautiful place we visited. Many a learning things were there. My child enjoyed the learning things. It is one of satellite units of the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum functioning under the aegis of the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The centre was built by the Government of India to propagate knowledge of science and technology to tourists, the rural community, and students as well as versions of science education or awareness activities. We also went for the show on astronomy and 3d videos. In 3d video they r providing spectacles to viewers. There were many amusing things at the park.. Canteen was good at reasonable price. Overall a knowledgeable place for all.. Can have a visit if going to Digha...

The place has basic practical education of science with others education about space, historical significance of world and fun of science not only that it has also a beautiful science park where children are able learn and play with physics. Price of ticket is Rs 40 for each ☺️ so cheap price that you will enjoy it with little money. I have enjoyed a lot but it quite discouraging about few things of science it is needed more things added in the museum and if say about structure of area of museum is so small like loan garden in a house but you can enjoy it 😉.

Visited on 2022. Very beautiful park in old Digha. Lot of seating places and eatery point. Very well designed and maintained properly. Never seen such a beautiful sea shore. Due to high tide edge of the sea is properly stone pitched and can be used to seat during low tide. Many good hotels are there with reasonable cost.

Currently, the main attraction of Digha is the DheuSagar Amusement Park. This beautiful park is located on the seashore, very close to the New Digha beach. It is a very favorite place for everyone from children to adults. There are various amusement rides here such as - boating, Toy Train, Giant Swing, etc. There are also various selfie points, beautiful seating areas, and swings. The ideal time to visit this park is from afternoon to evening. Because the weather is very pleasant during this time, you can enjoy it very nicely. The entry fee of this park is 20 per head. The other rides that are available cost a separate fee.

The entrance fee to the park is Rs 10 per head. We did ropeway and paddle boating. The ropeway will cost Rs 80 per person (Rs 46 for children) and boating will cost Rs 100 for 3/4 people for 25 minutes. The distance from Digha Railway Station to this park is 800 meters on foot.

Entry fee is ₹20/- which is too much. Park is full of dirt and roads are not cleaned. Ropeway fee is ₹90/- which is definitely overpriced as the journey is less than 10 minutes. Overall not happy.

Ropeways and boating at the main attraction of this place but the time we visited this place the boating service was stopped due to lack of infrastructure so we just observed the natural beauty of the place.

It is a boating point at Amarabati park at New Digha. You can have an amazing ride of the boat in the small lake. Two seaters, four seaters and six seaters boats are available there.

You can spend great time with friends or family. There are various activities like cycling, boating, digital games and many more. A place surrounded by lots of trees on the beach. Various snacks are available in small shops here. Kids will have a lot of fun here. There are facilities to go to the toilet.

Good place to hangout near the beach and nice lighting at evening times but the music choice is bad for the genre of the place and it's ungodly loud and that's really bad because you'll expect some peace at a park/garden right? Also can't hear the sound of waves because of that (-2* for that). Some food stalls, small ones - big ones and some fun stuff to do (find out yourself), that's it.

Basically this place has nothing interesting to see. Simple children amusement park kind of area it is. You can have toy train, see saw, double paddle cycling etc. You can get multiple fast food stall here. Entry fee 10rs. Toy train 10rs each. Under 5 years no ticket required.

Very nice place near new digha.... Variety of games options available there , entry fee is 10/- only...have place for parking.. restaurant is also good. There is also boating facility available ....inside premises many souvenir shops available ....very clean and calm place beside the sea

Very beautiful place in New Digha.I recently visited this picnic spot, and it exceeded all my expectations. It's a hidden gem nestled in the heart of nature, making it the ideal getaway for a day of relaxation and fun with family and friends. The picturesque surroundings were breathtaking, with lush greenery and a serene lake that added to the beauty of the place. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, from hiking trails to paddle boating on the lake.

great place to come with family or a partner. Has a lot of options if you want to eat something. It also has some fun things to do such as cycling.
