Rope way is available inside the Amrabati Park, Digha. Charges for adult is 80/- per person. Online payment available for it. Total riding time including to and fro is 10 minutes, they just round the small lake inside the park. Good initiative I can say, at least it can irradiate your fear so that you will feel easy when you ride rope way in hilly area.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
The Marine Aquarium & Regional Centre in Digha is a captivating destination for tourists and families. Divided into three sections, it showcases a diverse range of marine life, including local species, those of conservation significance, and various freshwater creatures. With 24 spacious marine tanks and 8 freshwater tanks, the aquarium boasts an impressive collection. Visitors can marvel at rare and endangered species while exploring the well-maintained displays of preserved marine animals.
No entry fee. No photos allowed inside. Work in progress, will be fully open after some months (approx. 6 months)
#SOUMYADEEP R — Google review
An spacious well-equipped and nicely maintained place. Its museum and live galleries are nicely managed. However, looking for a guide who would narrate the intrigues of displays on physics. Beside, cafeteria is also worth mentioning. I thank its staff who supplied ice for my niece's wrenched elbow.
Ashis S — Google review
The Marine aquarium and the museum is an excellent attempt of the scientific community towards spreading of knowledge. The aquarium needs immediate attention, maintenance and restoration. The museum is very well maintained. All specimens labelled and nicely displayed. Wide variety collections of the marine life forms is a delight for the children and the adults.. The best part of this museum come aquarium is that the entry fee is nill. It is highly appreciated that they could afford to keep the place free of any entry cost The authorities, it seems taking up the renovation work. Wish them all the success and more visitors in future
Jayanta S — Google review
Marine Aquarium and Regional Centre (MARC) is an Aquarium maintained by Central agency. There is no entry fee, you can enter it without any tickets. You just have to enter your details in the register. Open from 10am- 6pm. It is closed on Tuesday. We found several tanks empty (Under maintenance). Remaining tanks were all good ! We saw several marine species there. We saw snails walking for the first time. There is also another gallery & museum which shares models, photos, etc. The skeleton of a whale kept outside is a major attraction. Remember: Photos and videos is strictly prohibited inside the museum, please respect it.
Sudipto D — Google review
I recently had the chance to visit the Marine Aquarium and Regional Centre (MARC) in Old Digha, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is very convenient—it’s just near Jagannath Dham, making it an easy stop if you’re exploring the area. The aquarium is free to enter, which is a great plus for visitors and families. The environment is clean, and the staff maintains the place quite well. I really liked the setup, and the information provided about marine life was interesting. However, one thing that stood out to me was that many of the display tanks were empty, which was a bit disappointing. It felt like the place had a lot of potential but wasn’t being fully utilized. A few more active exhibits or marine species would definitely make the experience more engaging. That said, it’s still a nice and peaceful spot to visit, especially if you’re interested in aquatic life or just looking for a quick, relaxing stop while in Digha. With a bit more attention and maintenance, it could become one of the more attractive places in the area.
Paulami D — Google review
This place is nice. The skeleton of the whale is the main attraction of this place. The place needs to be taken care of by the government. Most of the aquariums are dirty and not properly maintained. Many aquariums are empty. There is not any fan or AC , just two stand fans, which are not enough for those two big hall rooms. The absence of AC or any other types of ventilation system, makes this place hot and suffocating.
Rahul A — Google review
It's an aquarium house filled with marine and sweetwater fishes at the Railway station to new Digha road.Good place to visit especially with young kids .This place is nice.Great experience, new galleries are well maintained. But the zoological aquariums are not in very good condition. Entry is free and mobile cameras are provided inside the galleries...
Debarghya B — Google review
Very good place to visit. You can gather vast knowledge about marine life. But unfortunately it is closed now. The renovation work is in progress. So you can not visit. From April 2025,the work has been started, and it will be closed till further notice.

Beach
New Digha Beach, located in the coastal town of Digha, West Bengal, is a popular destination for tourists seeking a peaceful and scenic retreat. Unlike other crowded beaches in the area, New Digha offers a relatively serene atmosphere with its long stretch of smooth sand lined with beautiful casuarina trees. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls along the nearly one-mile beach, savor refreshing coconut water, and immerse themselves in the natural beauty that surrounds them.
This beach is very nice and usually quite crowded. You can also find good local market items and a wide variety of food. The only issue, which is natural, is that the water here has a strong smell. Otherwise, it’s a great place to enjoy.
Aftab A — Google review
🌅 Scenic Beauty & Atmosphere The beach boasts expansive golden sands lined with casuarina trees, providing a picturesque setting for leisurely strolls and relaxation. Visitors often highlight the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the Bay of Bengal, making it a photographer's paradise. 🏖️ Activities & Attractions New Digha is not just about serene views; it offers various water sports like jet skiing and horse riding for adventure enthusiasts. The nearby Marine Aquarium and Research Centre and the Science Centre add educational value to the visit. 🍴 Local Delicacies & Shopping The beachfront is dotted with numerous food stalls serving fresh seafood and local snacks. Morning and late afternoon visits to the local market are recommended for handmade seashell products and other souvenirs. 🏨 Accommodation & Accessibility A wide range of accommodations, from budget hotels to more luxurious options, are available close to the beach. The area is well-connected by road and rail, making it easily accessible for travelers. ⚠️ Considerations While New Digha is generally cleaner and less crowded than Old Digha, it can become quite busy during weekends and holidays. Some areas may have rocky patches, so caution is advised during high tides. Overall, New Digha Sea Beach offers a balanced mix of tranquility and activity, making it a commendable choice for a coastal getaway.
Supriya D — Google review
New Digha Beach in Digha, West Bengal, is a less crowded alternative to the older Digha Beach, offering a more tranquil atmosphere and better accessibility. It's located about 2 km from the main Digha beach, known for its clean and well-maintained sands. Key Features of New Digha Beach: Calm and Tranquil: New Digha is less busy than the older beach, making it a quieter option for relaxation. Clean and Well-Maintained: The beach is generally kept clean and tidy, offering a pleasant experience. Good Accessibility: It's near the railway station, making it easy to reach. Adventure Sports: New Digha is known for its adventure sports activities, including boating and swimming. Limited Amenities: While it's a great beach, New Digha has limited options for food, restaurants, and ATMs compared to the main Digha area. You'll need to carry enough cash or go to the main Digha area for these amenities.

New Digha Beach 🌊 is wide, clean, and perfect for spending quality time with friends or family. The waves here are strong and thrilling 💦, making it fun to just sit on the shore and feel the splash. The beachside has plenty of food stalls 🍤🌮, tea shops ☕, and small vendors, which give a lively vibe especially in the evenings 🌆. It’s less crowded compared to Old Digha, so you can actually relax and enjoy the sea breeze 🌬️. Whether for a morning walk, evening stroll, or simply chilling with friends, New Digha Beach is a must-visit! 😊
Dipayan M — Google review
New Digha Beach is cleaned and gives a fantastic experience. There was a high Tide when I visited the beach so unable to go close, clicked pictures from far. The beach is always crowded and there are plenty of food options available. There is also a market available from where you can buy all the cool stuff of Beach. There are also some sports available and horse ride you can enjoy.
Shikha S — Google review
Peaceful sea beach There are few small cashews store and local sweets shop where we bought some local food items. Street vendors also sell some local jewelleries made up of shells of molluscks. There are also few shops of pizza, burgers etc shops and other dinettes. One can listen to the sound of sea and enjoy the beautiful beach view here.
Debarati S — Google review
Good Beach but ROCKY 🪨 The water comes down during evening around 5:30 pm that time sand ⛱️ will be visible after water level comes down, be careful of the rocks while getting down. Beach has WATER-PARASAILING 🛥️🪂 , Boating 🚤 rafting Adventures, The Adventure Bay Parasailing costs around ₹1550 for single and ₹2500 for double. The price of everything is higher than MRP here at beach. Water Bottle 1 Litre = ₹20, 2 litre=₹30, flake cigarette 🚬 = ₹8, Tea = ₹15, and Toto if you get on a toto ₹100! You have to reserve the whole toto only no matter 1 person or 5 person. ₹100 if you want to go to old digha from new Digha, or want to go to digha station or want to go jaganath dham! The tourists made the place so dirty although authorities working hard to keep the city clean and spread cleanliness awareness! There are various hotels and restaurants. A good resturant with reasonable price is Hotel Amantran where standard rice and rui fish meal costs ₹80. Also you will get good fried 🍤 fish 🐟 prawns 🦐 lobsters 🦞 crabs 🦀 tuna, squid 🦑 in the evening ready to serve snacks

Wonderland Kajal Dighi in Digha is a popular family amusement park featuring a charming mini-railway that circles a scenic boating lake. Visitors can enjoy the company of rabbits, guinea pigs, and various birds while taking part in the park's attractions. The main highlight is the toy train ride, which requires a minimum of 10 passengers for operation. Boating facilities are also available for those seeking additional entertainment. While entry to the park costs Rs.
Wonderful place indeed. Specially for children. Toy train, boating, some birds n rabbits, joy rides r there. You can observe some beautiful flowers and variation of trees in this place. Opening time 8:00am to 8:00pm. Entry fee n toy train rs25 only.

One of the attention in New Digha specially for the kids and students. Main attention is The Troy train. Boating is also available for everyone. Entry fees is rs 5 and train ride is rs 25. This park situated backside of Amaravati park. Cleaning is definitely an issue, the park is unorganized and dirty. They should add more attractions.
Raju S — Google review
The only reason for us to visit this park was the toy train ride. The train ride is subject to availability of minimum 10 passengers, so be prepared to wait until the desired number is reached. However, the two rounds of train ride was enjoyable. The park also has boating facilities. The entry fee is Rs. 5 but the toy train ride comes at 20 rupees per head and has to be paid separately to the driver.
Sonia C — Google review
A very nice park with a toy train is a plus. Lack of maintenance but afternoons can be spent boating and riding the toy train. The entry fee is only 5 rupees, I think the price of some things should be increased a little to take care of the park a little more.

Enjoyed boating through the lake... lovely weather, lovely flowers. The park so clean and well maintained. There are small birds in a cage. There are swings for passing time. There is a toy train which takes you around the lake. I found this park better than amrabati park.
Dr. R — Google review
It's a quaint park with a large water body surrounded by a pathway, flowers and a toy train track. The toy train ride is noisy but enjoyable especially for kids. Paddle boats are available on rent. The park has beautiful flowers all around and is well maintained. There are some caged birds, rabbits and guinea pigs. A few slides, swings and sea-saws are installed for kids. It's a nice place for a family outing for a couple of hours and prices are nominal.

The place has basic practical education of science with others education about space, historical significance of world and fun of science not only that it has also a beautiful science park where children are able learn and play with physics. Price of ticket is Rs 40 for each ☺️ so cheap price that you will enjoy it with little money. I have enjoyed a lot but it quite discouraging about few things of science it is needed more things added in the museum and if say about structure of area of museum is so small like loan garden in a house but you can enjoy it 😉.

Beach
Old Digha Sea Beach, located in West Bengal, is a less crowded but popular tourist spot. The beach offers stone seats for relaxation and scenic views of stone crumbles and boulders formed by erosion. It's known for its white sand, clear waters, and gentle waves, making it ideal for swimming and water sports. Divided into the main beach and children's beach, it exudes a nostalgic aura with its tranquil atmosphere and stunning sunset views.
Always a good place to visit❤️❤️❤️❤️ Can't count how many times we visited there. But this time we faced less tourists than usual. Old digha sea beach is not that crowded at all, and the road and surroundings are also cleared due to CM's and other deliegated visits.
Prithwiraj C — Google review
The beach is neat and clean, but the shopkeepers charge extra. I bought an ice cream with an MRP of ₹10, but the shopkeeper charged me ₹15.

Digha's iconic beach, 2 km from the railway station, shines brightest in the evening. Adorned with lights, art installations, and monuments, it's a photographer's paradise. The beach offers concrete seating areas to relax and soak in the waves and sounds. Nearby eateries serve local delights, KFC, and Domino's. Old Digha, a short walk away, offers shopping bargains and peaceful vibes. The sea is calmer here, with vast spaces to unwind. Evening strolls are a must, but be cautious with spicy food and water. Nehru Market's nearby, bustling with people. Relax, enjoy, and take in the majestic sea views.

Visited Old Digha sea beach early morning around 6 am today with my husband. Even at that hour, there was already a small crowd, but the calm sea, soft breeze, and peaceful vibe made it special. We also had a cup of tea while watching the waves, and it was absolutely perfect for the mood—hot chai, cool breeze, and sea sounds in the background. A beautiful and simple morning, full of warmth and quiet happiness.

Old Digha Beach: Old Digha Beach 🌊 is the most popular and lively spot in Digha. The concrete embankments make it safe to sit right near the waves 💦 and enjoy the thrilling splashes. It’s usually crowded, full of street food stalls 🍤🍢, tea shops ☕, and souvenir vendors 🎁, which give it a buzzing vibe. Perfect place to spend evenings with friends or family while watching the waves crash 🌬️. The atmosphere here is more energetic than New Digha, so if you love the hustle, Old Digha is the place to be. A must-visit for true Digha vibes! 🌞📸

Outdoor Activities
Digha Beach, often referred to as New Digha Beach, is a stunning destination along the shores of the Bay of Bengal that beckons travelers with its golden sands and gentle waves. Spanning approximately 7 kilometers, this beach is perfect for leisurely walks, swimming in its inviting waters, or simply soaking up the sun while enjoying breathtaking sunsets. The vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by nearby seafood stalls and food vendors offering delicious local cuisine.
What a great experience. The beach is located just at the railway station. Long beach experience. Seating area also available. Big beach ⛱️ . Transportation is also very easy. Many activities like boat and horse 🐎 available. Finally very enjoy

Everything about this place is quite pleasant, except for the sea itself. The water here is a dirty black color, which takes away from the otherwise beautiful coastal setting. However, the infrastructure near the shore is well-developed. You’ll find seating areas, stalls, and other amenities that make the visit comfortable and convenient. For those seeking a bit of adventure, boat rides are also available, and they’re definitely worth trying for the experience and scenic views. When comparing the two nearby beaches—Old Digha and New Digha—Old Digha beach stands out as the better option. The shoreline there is cleaner and more suitable for a relaxing walk or even dipping your feet in the water. New Digha beach, on the other hand, is filled with large rocks, which make swimming or walking along the shore quite difficult and even risky in places. Despite that, New Digha has its own appeal—it boasts two large and beautifully maintained parks. These green spaces provide a refreshing change from the beach and are great spots for families, children, or anyone looking to unwind amidst nature. Overall, while the sea may not be ideal, the amenities, boat rides, and contrasting features of Old and New Digha beaches make the area worth exploring.

Great Beach. For the first time visitor( not so crowded like Chennai and Mumbai, beaches,) no car parking in other locations, finally we reached this location near to the sea beach with sufficient parking space.

Digha Beach is one of the most famous beaches in West Bengal, and a lot of people come here from both West Bengal and Odisha. The beach gets very crowded, especially on weekends. The sea water is not very clean, so if you are planning to bathe, be careful while entering the water. There are stones in the shallow area, and it suddenly gets deep, which can hurt your legs. So take care while going in and coming out of the sea. Apart from this, the beach is nice to spend time at. There is boating available, and you can enjoy a boat ride. Outside the beach, there are many food shops where you can try local food. Hotel prices are a bit high. We were six people and stayed for about 5-6 hours during the daytime, and they charged us ₹3500. We checked 5-6 hotels, and all were charging almost the same. So if you are planning to visit with your family on weekends, it is better to book a hotel in advance. Nearby, there is Jagannath Dham, which you can also visit. Overall, we enjoyed our trip a lot.
Nitesh S — Google review
Not as vibrant as beaches like Goa, and may not be ideal for those seeking extensive nearby attractions or a lively beach scene but it's budget friendly and i love this place.

Visited Digha a few months ago with my husband — the beach was beautiful, the waves were romantic, and the crowd? Let’s just say it felt like half of Kolkata came with us on our honeymoon! 😅 We tried to take a peaceful walk, but ended up playing find your feet in the sand. Still, had a great time — the sea, the snacks, and my husband’s fake bargaining skills made it a memorable trip!
Sumana B — Google review
Digha Beach is one of the most popular seaside destinations in West Bengal. Located about 180 km from Kolkata, it’s a favorite weekend getaway. The beach has a long, flat shoreline with gentle waves and shallow waters. Both Old Digha and New Digha attract tourists for different vibes—calm vs. lively. Sunrise and sunset views at the beach are absolutely stunning. Local shops offer sea shells, handicrafts, and delicious seafood. Activities like horse riding, beach cycling, and boating are available. New Digha is more developed with hotels, parks, and cleaner surroundings. The beach is family-friendly and perfect for short holidays. Digha offers a refreshing break with sand, sea, and scenic charm…

Visited on 2022. Very beautiful park in old Digha. Lot of seating places and eatery point. Very well designed and maintained properly. Never seen such a beautiful sea shore. Due to high tide edge of the sea is properly stone pitched and can be used to seat during low tide. Many good hotels are there with reasonable cost.

Biswa Bangla Gate in Old Digha is a great photo spot and a proud symbol of Bengal’s culture. It welcomes visitors with a beautiful design and gives a nice first impression of the area. Clean and well-maintained, especially attractive at night when it’s lit up. A must-see when you’re in Digha!...

Digha Sea Beach, situated in the coastal district of Medinipur in West Bengal, is a popular weekend getaway just 183 km from Kolkata. The winter season from October to February offers pleasant temperatures ranging from 3 to 28 degrees Celsius, perfect for beach activities and water sports like scuba diving and swimming. Despite being crowded, the beach maintains its serene atmosphere. Nearby, the Bichitrapur Mangrove Sanctuary is home to endangered turtles and mangrove trees.
This place offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the moment. The beach security is highly attentive and ensures that all rules and regulations for tourists are strictly followed, contributing to a safe and orderly atmosphere. Near the place there are totally 150 or more stalls related to foods , decoration items, small rides for children (near 1-9 years old, maximum upto 10 years).Cost of each items in every stalls are starting from Rs 5, Rs 20 ,Rs 10. Dont book hotels online, book after reaching digha. It will be cheaper good hotels serve you good food at their restourents. You may feel outside foods are cheaper but actually not and outsde food quality is also not good. Visit jagannath mandir, mohana, udaypur beach, talsari, chandaneshwar Shiv Mandir. I always prefer beach view rooms in any standard hotels.

Visiting Digha Sea Beach at night was truly a serene and memorable experience. The cool breeze from the Bay of Bengal, the rhythmic sound of the waves made it feel magical. Street lights along the promenade added a warm glow, and a few open shops offered tea and snacks, making the atmosphere lively yet calm. It’s safe and relaxing to take a quiet walk along the shore or simply sit on the benches to soak in the view. The sound of the waves crashing gently and the starry sky above make for a perfect night escape. Whether you're with friends, family, or just alone with your thoughts, Digha at night has a charm that’s both soothing and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace away from the daytime crowd!

🌊 Digha Beach: Where the Sea Meets the Soul 🌊 Nestled along the Bay of Bengal, Digha isn’t just a beach—it’s a feeling that lingers long after the waves retreat. The moment you step onto its golden sands, time slows. The salty breeze carries whispers of nostalgia, and the horizon stretches like a canvas painted in shades of romance, reflection, and quiet wonder. Mornings begin with fishermen casting nets under a coral sky, and evenings melt into silhouettes of lovers walking hand in hand, their footprints fading like memories. The sea is gentle yet vast, offering peace to wandering hearts and stories to those who listen. Digha is where families gather, friends laugh over coconut water, and solitary souls find calm in the rhythm of the waves. The new marine drive adds a touch of modern charm, but the essence of Digha remains rooted in its simplicity—red crabs scuttling across the shore, humble stalls serving fried fish, and the timeless joy of watching the tide roll in. 📍 Visited in October—clear skies, soft winds, and a heart full of poetry. Highly recommended for those who seek not just a destination, but a story.

People say this tourist attraction offers beautiful views of the river meeting the sea, especially during sunrise and sunset, and a vibrant fish market with fresh catches. They also highlight the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a quiet escape and photography.
Swarup B — Google review
Digha Sea Beach has decent seating, but afternoons get extremely hot, so be careful of sunburn. The beach is crowded even in the off-season, and you need to walk away from the main area to find some peace. Hygiene could be better, with few more dustbins and some cleanliness issues. There’s plenty of snacks and coconut water, but expect tourist prices. In summary: good food and convenient seating, but too crowded and hot, with room for improvement in cleanliness.

Very beautiful Sea beach. High waves in evening after 9 pm. Foods and accomodation are easily available. Never try to photo shoot by local cameraman. They are not good. Don't give sympathy to them. Boat rides are available at the price of 150-200 per person. Suitable time to visit here is November to February and rainy season. Many affordable Hotels and resorts available here with Swimming pool. Luxury Bus services available from Esplanade. Trains are also available for Digha.

Beach
New Digha Sea Beach is a vast and popular seaside destination, offering a striking beauty with its expansive shoreline. Unlike the original Digha beach, it is less crowded, making it ideal for those seeking a laid-back experience. The beach is well-maintained and boasts a clean environment, surrounded by picturesque scenery and a lively atmosphere. It is the largest beach in West Bengal with numerous hotels and a bustling market nearby.
Ah! This beach offers a plethora of relaxation in late night and early morning. I won't mention evening and day time as it is very rushy at those times and photographers keep on approaching you again and again is a big let down. At night the waves become very high and make a serene sound when they hit the rocks. The sand of the beach is finer and grey. You will see starfish very often at this beach. A must visit place for every east central indian who loves the sea.

New Digha Beach is cleaner, wider, and more organized than Old Digha, making it a favorite spot for families, couples, and groups of friends,Perfect for evening walks, enjoying the waves, and grabbing some snacks from the stalls. The sunset looks amazing here, though it does get crowded on weekends. Overall, a fun and refreshing place to spend time. 🌊✨
Puspendu B — Google review
🏖️ Overview & Highlights New Digha Beach is a more recently developed stretch of coastline about 2 km away from the old Digha beach. It is preferred by many visitors because it’s less crowded, larger in area, and has better-maintained sands. The beach is lined by casuarina trees and offers wide views of sunrise and sunset over the Bay of Bengal. The sea near the shore is relatively shallow initially, which makes it somewhat safer for bathing (but always be cautious). --- 📍 How to Reach & Local Info From Digha Railway Station, New Digha is about 1.5 km away. Local transport like rickshaws, shared autos, or cabs are readily available for the last stretch. There is no entry fee for the beach. The beach is open all day, though early morning and evening hours are best to avoid heat and crowds. --- ⏱️ Best Time to Visit & Tips Best season: November to February — cooler weather, clearer skies. Visit early in the morning or before 9 pm — as per safety advice and to avoid late-night risks. Carry sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses), water, and light snacks. Be careful around rocky portions where waves crash strongly.
IYASIN Z — Google review
New Digha Sea Beach is currently extremely crowded, and hotel prices have increased nearly four times. A minimum of 2 days booking is now required. Taking a toto ride costs ₹50, and the beach area is often quite dirty. For people from Kolkata, Digha has always been one of the most popular destinations for a short 1-2 day trip. However, due to all these issues, it’s now better to avoid it. On the brighter side, the newly built Jagannath Temple in Digha has become a beautiful attraction and is definitely worth a visit.
Soumadip D — Google review
🌊 New Digha Sea Beach Review 🌊 New Digha is much cleaner and more spacious compared to Old Digha. The beach has soft golden sand, lined with casuarina trees, and the sunrise/sunset views are truly beautiful. It feels less crowded, making it perfect for families and peaceful walks. Plenty of small stalls serve fresh seafood, tea, and coconut water, and you’ll also find shops selling seashell souvenirs. Activities like horse riding, boating, and beach sports add to the fun. ✅ Best time: Early morning or evening for calm vibes. ✅ Budget-friendly, no entry fee. ⚠️ Do watch out for rocky areas during high tide. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. 🌿🌿

Beach ⛱️ was clean, but I faced a very bad experience during hotel booking. After the inogration of Jagannath temple the hotel 🏨 price get higher and higher and there is no limit. I have visited many times in new digha during peak season like 15th August but this time I am really disappointed regarding the hotel pricing 😕 becos in 15th August 2024 I paid 1500rs per day for the hotel and the room eas decent room, but this year i.e, 15th August 2025 the price was beyond my expectations some hotel charging 5000, some were charging 7000rs per day and these are the normal hotel far from the sea beach, and also the behaviour of TOTO WALA and Auto wala was dirty charging any thing since it was a public holiday, new digha to old digha per person charging 50rs per person nonsense type of price then after sometime another autowala came he was a good person he take 20rs per person and he was an honest man and told us some autowala/totowala loot the tourist. I will not visit digha again for now.

Talsari beach is a serene and unspoiled coastal retreat with tranquil waters and an extensive expanse of untouched white sand. The natural beauty of this beach is breathtaking, offering affordable accommodation options and an uncrowded atmosphere. This peaceful haven boasts stunning views that are sure to captivate any visitor. It is home to vibrant red crabs that add to the uniqueness of this location.
A Calm Retreat: My Visit to Talsari Sea Beach with Friends If you like the quieter aspect of nature, far from the commercial mayhem of mainstream destinations, Talsari Sea Beach in Odisha is a treasure waiting to be unearthed. I recently traveled to this quiet beach, and it provided one of the calmest coastal outings I've enjoyed in a very long time. Situated close to the Odisha-West Bengal border, Talsari is not your run-of-the-mill beach with blaring music, water sports, and hordes of food stalls. Rather, it greets you with tranquil waters, soft waves, and a peaceful silence that's almost meditative. The sea here is not very deep, and at low tide, you can actually walk quite far out on the uncovered seabed. The sight of fishing boats and red crabs scuttling on the sand adds to the beauty. One of the most distinctive features is the line of palm and casuarina trees along the beach. They give the perfect amount of shade and add to the scenery. The dawn break is just breathtaking — it's the sort of moment you'd like to freeze and not let go of. There are some local stalls along the beach selling fresh seafood, particularly prawns and crabs. It's not glamorous, but it's real and tasty. Although accommodations are simple, they're clean and cheap, so it's a good choice for weekend trips. Talsari is perfect for those who wish to slow down and get closer to nature. It's not constructed for adventure seekers, but for anyone yearning for peaceful moments, leisurely walks, and a whiff of salt air, it's ideal.
Uttam D — Google review
It's way too beautiful to describe . Take a note:- If you like quite beach to enjoy the nature and also your own company then this is for you. To get the most beautiful experience, visit this place when the low tide is on its peak , the sound of waves and breeze enjoy it with the scenic beauty of boats anchored by the beach. Now comes the most important part during low tide you would experience the flying sand just over the ground which makes the place breathtaking and not less being in the heaven. Also the red hand crabs, those are so wonderful (I forgot to record them ). Just excuse my video making skills but experience in real is the best!!
Sharanya A — Google review
Talsari Beach is a peaceful and beautiful getaway on the Odisha coast, known for its calm waters and scenic palm-lined shore. The beach feels untouched and serene, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature without crowds. Seeing the unique red crabs along the sandy beach added a special charm to the visit. The nearby local fish market and boat rides made the experience richer.

This is a good beach located near Orissa and West Bengal border. It is a quite serene beach. The number of tourists here are significantly less than that of Digha or Udaypur so if you want to visit a quite serene beach you can give this place a try. The beach is very big but the sea water is quite far away. So you will be disappointed if you have any plans of bathing in sea. This place has a market near the beach along with multiple food options. The best staying option is the nearby OTDC Panthasala. Overall this place is good for old and boring middle aged people as there are no activities to be done here other than maybe taking a stroll on the beach. You can not bath in sea water here nor are there any water recreational activities available, this is a very quite town so not much any other activities to do also. Visit here if you want to stay in a quite serene beach with maybe aged parents. Dont bring your kids here , they will get very bored.
