The Casino of Constanța is a historic Art Nouveau-style villa located along a seafront promenade. Built in 1909, it was initially intended to reflect Romanian architectural traditions but underwent a change in design by a French architect, resulting in its Art Nouveau style. Over the years, the casino served various purposes including as a theater, ballroom, leisure spot, and even as a hospital during World War I.
Such an amazing location and historical place to visit, highly recommend it, we had an amazing time and had a family group of varied ages from 7 to 50+ years, we all found different interesting exhibits and sections. The renovation is breathtaking and we managed to visit in a sunnier day in September and the light flowing through the stained glass windows was beautiful. We loved the interactive exhibits and that it wasn't very crowded being in extra season.

I love this place. It was my favourite place to visit even before its restoration. I loved to go down the stairs and listen to the sound of water. Now, that was brought back “to life” I come with more pleasure than before. Even though the stairs are no longer open for public. The entrance is a bit expensive - 53 ron, but to keep this gem in good condition I think worth the price. When I entered I was speechless. The casino itself is a work of art. The warm colors of the walls are giving a very welcoming feeling. The overall experience was very pleasant and I am happy I visited.

This is one of the most beautiful Art Nuveau buildings in Europe that has been recently renovated and is now open to the public. The architecture and interior design is breathtakingly beautiful with all original details restored to perfection. The building is situated in a lovely spot with great vista over the Black Sea and plenty of walking and dining choices alongside the promenade. The entry is best done online where you can book a timeslot and helps with planning your visit particularly during busy holiday periods but walk in tickets are available too.

Constanța Casino – A Must-See Landmark The Constanța Casino is absolutely stunning! Perched right on the Black Sea, it offers breathtaking views and a fascinating glimpse into Romania’s history. Even though the building is currently being restored, its Art Nouveau architecture and elegant details are unforgettable. Walking along the seafront promenade and seeing the waves crash beside this iconic monument is a magical experience. Whether you’re into photography, history, or simply love beautiful scenery, the Constanța Casino is a must-visit when exploring the city.
Bou B — Google review
An absolute must see for anyone in the region. A breathtaking architectural, acoustic, visual and educative experience. The exhibitions inside were a great plus. Highly recommended!
Calin A — Google review
The Casino of Constanța is one of the most iconic landmarks on the Romanian seaside and absolutely worth a visit. The architecture is stunning — a true Art Nouveau jewel perched right on the Black Sea promenade. The views are spectacular at any time of day, but especially at sunset when the building glows in golden light and the waves crash against the rocks below. Inside, you can feel the history of the place. After many years of decay, the restoration finally brought back its charm, with stained glass, ornate details, and elegant halls. There are also exhibitions and multimedia installations that tell the story of the Casino and Constanța’s past, which makes the visit both cultural and emotional. That said, not everything is perfect yet. Some areas remain closed, and at times the schedule feels limited. The entrance fee can feel a bit high compared to how much of the building you can actually explore. Around the promenade there are still fences and signs of ongoing work. Overall though, this place is the symbol of Constanța. Even if you only admire it from outside, it’s unforgettable. The combination of architecture, sea views, and history make it a must-see. Come with the right expectations — this is no longer a gambling casino, but a beautifully restored cultural landmark that tells its own dramatic story.
Dani V — Google review
I visited the casino yesterday, on a weekday. It wasn't very crowded. It's worth every penny, it's been beautifully renovated. I was amazed by its beauty. What should be considered though would be a security check at the entrance, as is the case in every tourist attraction outside the country.
Melissa S — Google review
The Constanța Casino is a stunning Art Nouveau building with a rich history, situated on the Black Sea coast in Romania. I recently visited the Constanța Casino, and I was blown away by its intricate details and historical significance. This iconic building has been beautifully restored to its former glory, showcasing its stunning Art Nouveau design. Although it's not operational as a casino, the building still offers a glimpse into its glorious past. The Constanța Casino is a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Whether you're an architecture buff, history enthusiast, or simply looking for a fascinating spot to explore, this casino is a must-visit destination.

The Museum of National History and Archaeology, located in a grand historic building, is a major tourist attraction in Constanta. It houses an extensive collection of over 430,000 archaeological and numismatic artifacts dating from the Paleolithic era to modern times. The museum showcases Roman, Byzantine, Greek, and medieval artifacts such as stone tools, bronze weapons, ceramics, ancient architectural elements like columns and friezes.
The museum invited guests at the period for the events that reserved the class for the Christmas spectacle, the Easter or new activities across the years. I was soon at the spectacle there, with children singing about our great poet, Mihai Eminescu.

Even though the museum is temporarily closed for renovations, it’s still worth a visit for its impressive exterior. Located in Ovidiu Square, right in the heart of the old town, the building has a grand, early 20th-century design with beautiful arches and intricate details. There are tombs and ruins outside But not in the best state of conservation
Daniel L — Google review
I was in this museum before it was closed for renovation. I hope it will be really cleaned up (as well as modernize the exposition inside the museum), because the building is beautiful, historical, but urgently needs renovation. About impressions, I liked it, but in contrast to other museums in Europe, it felt like it needed renovation

A nice museum give you great idea about Romania history and include alot of precious statues and rare antiques. Also story about the modern time of romania and the period of ceausescu. For sure you must visit if you come to constanta.

It was sad to see they had photoshootings and closed part of the exhibition during visiting hours with no prior notice. Looks like they lack funds for proper displays, lighting, etc, such a shame because every exhibit is mesmerising. Also there's no AC system in the building, only a few units in every other room, be careful and stay hydrated if you go in the summer months.

Had a rushed visit due to time constraints, however a proper tour would take atleast an hour or more. Very ancient artefacts relating to the lift around Constanta, must visit.

A place to visit, discover, think of and enjoy not for one day. From the very start of Tomis. Great much information. With great thanks to those, who established. I visited this museum three times. And today I enjoyed the exhibition of works of mosaics too. Opened recently. Great! The works and creations to be watched and admired once more and more. The icons, images and pictures ( May be, not just pictures, but very interesting and beautiful. Greatest thanks for those, who created all these wonders and organized it. Thanks to museum I deepened my knowledge in a lot of things and points. I deepened my knowledge of history of ancient world, of how people lived and travelled... And, the best 4,5 or 6D travells will never sibstitute the real one. And, still, in front of my eyes are images If Jesus Christ, Our Lady, Saints and Angels made of mosaics... Great, profound, educative and accomplished! Greatest thanks to all those who established this museum, enriches it and takes care of! contributed to and keep the museum. GREAT!!!!!

Historical landmark
Archaeological Park Tomis in Constanta, Romania is a captivating site located along the picturesque Black Sea coast. It offers a glimpse into the ancient city of Tomis, founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC. The park showcases Roman-era neighborhoods and excavated buildings dating back almost 2000 years. Visitors can freely explore this historical treasure and walk among the well-preserved ruins.
Free to enter as you wish. Early Christian site from the Roman Empire. Excevated during an earlier age - enjoy while it lasts in this form. It's a PARK - meaning you can walk into it and be amongst the nearly 2000 year old ruins. Walk on stones that people walked on back then. Admittedly, I've never been to Pompeii. And I'm sure that in comparison this is an impoverished distant cousin's nephew's uncle. And yes, I did notice the 1970's cement and the fact that a few of the more interesting bits seemed to have been placed there. Possibly from the same site, possibly from elsewhere. You can see similar "bits" in the Museum of National History" in Bucharest. Not exposed to the elements. I must admit to having - very lightly - touched a wall once or twice. Being overwhelmed by what I can only describe as a carthatic experience. Please don't steal stuff or use it as a duping site for trash.

The Archaeological Park in Constanța offers a glimpse into the ancient city of Tomis. Ruins of Roman walls and towers, alongside artifacts, are scattered throughout a leafy green space. It's a peaceful spot in the city center, close to other attractions like the Constanța Casino and the Museum of National History and Archaeology. While small, it's a worthwhile stop for history buffs.

(Translated by Google) Just a few steps from the moving and blue expanse, in an area with a dreamy landscape, especially on clear days, when the Black Sea is calm, right next to the seaward wall of the Archbishop's Cathedral "Holy Apostles Peter and Paul", the passerby will he saw a fragment of an ancient quarter of the Tomis Fortress. This space has a fabulous story, because it attests, through material evidence, the living testimony of man's presence on this earth, proving the existence of the Tomis Fortress in the 6th century BC. B.C., traces of habitation being present here long before this date. On the occasion of the four excavation campaigns that took place in this perimeter between 1971 and 1974, by specialists of the Constanta National History and Archeology Museum, no less than 12 archaeological levels were discovered here. The archaeological complex in the Archbishop's Cathedral Park reproduces a part of a district of the ancient city of Tomis from the Roman era from the 4th - 6th centuries, the traces of houses and streets with remnants of pavements and fragments of sewers being visible.

Aqua Magic Mamaia is a fantastic destination for families and thrill-seekers alike, offering an exhilarating blend of adventure and relaxation. As the largest water park in Romania, it spans an impressive 27,500 square meters filled with exciting attractions. Guests can unwind on comfortable loungers while sipping cocktails at the pool bar or embark on thrilling rides down twisting slides that promise heart-pounding fun. The park features dedicated areas for children, ensuring that younger visitors have their own space to play safely.
Very fun place to be for kids and grownups <3
Alina L — Google review
The park itself is small, there were a lot of people on the weekend. But there are enough slides of different types. I really liked the animation program with the foam party. As in other parks, there are not enough inflatable rings, you just have to hunt for them. Safety leaves much to be desired - the slide workers do not monitor whether the previous person has gone all the way down and let the next one in. But the advantage of going up the slide is that there are no stairs, but inclined surfaces with a covering like artificial grass, on which you will not slip.
Iryna P — Google review
We've just returned from a day at the water park, and overall, it was a good time. The kids absolutely loved it and there were so many attractions that kept them busy all day. A big plus was the lack of lines for the slides. We could go on our favorite ones multiple times without a long wait, which is a rare treat. The Downside While most of our experience was great, there were a couple of frustrating points. First, the noise level was often unbearable. When the foam party or the kids' animations started, it was so loud that you couldn't hear the person sitting right next to you. It was impossible to have a conversation and really took away from the relaxing parts of the day. Secondly, the locker key system needs a serious rethink. The keys are just keys—no wristband, no watch. If you're going to the slides with your kids and you don't have someone to watch your stuff on a sunbed, what are you supposed to do with the key? I was constantly worried about losing it, which made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the attractions.
Monika B — Google review
I have to admit that I was positively surprised by this park! From outside I didn't expect a lot. Actually I was here (but didn't enter) few days ago, from parking it looked dull. After few more days when there was nothing better to do in Mamaia actually had no choice. I've seen everything else so gave it a try. Price for adult was a bit steep (70 Lei per person). To get a key to locker it's another 5 plus 15 Lei as a deposit. Overall my start here was rough and I was already pessimistic 😕 Although... Everything changed after first ride 🤣😂🤣 On second one was even better. I tried all rides, the biggest and craziest even couple of times! 🤩 Crazy AF 😜 Lazy river is very much 🆗 to catch a breath again before attacking another ride. Bar is big and capable making proper lunch, dinner, drinks or just a tasty pizza 🍕 I was here on 3rd July 2019 (Wednesday). Park was occupied in 40% of its capacity. Being here on weekend might be a nightmare, but midweek is nice. Waiting for rides is up to 1-5 minutes so pretty fine. In my honest opinion and if you enjoy such a rides it's really worth visiting. If this review was any help please don't forget to press like button below 👍 Many thanks and have a pleasant stay.

Used to come here every summer as a child, and the attractions still hold up as an adult! Also, make sure to get yourself a burger from the North Terrace restaurant/bar; best food at the park!
Poppy T — Google review
Pros: For me, there were enough slides to have fun. The aquapark is quite diverse. Cons: The aquapark is small. The price is not justified; objectively speaking, there really aren't that many slides. Paid lockers, seriously? I would also like to mention the attitude of some of the aquapark staff, who do not treat foreigners very well. I do not understand Romanian, so they have to shout at me for me to understand better. Special praise to those guys who switched to English, which I understand much better. I was also a little offended by the fact that you cannot swim in the river. At the same time, I didn't see any signs saying that swimming was not allowed. I only saw signs saying that jumping was not allowed. And there was an incident. When two young employees approached me and said that I needed a float, I replied that I was just swimming and not bothering anyone, and that I would go on the slides later. They agreed and simply walked away. Then, near the slides, I was stopped twice and told that swimming was not allowed. And this is probably the most significant issue with the aquapark — misinformation. I was upset by an incident involving the "super crafting" slide. At the bottom, it says that single and double float are available for this slide. I stood in a huge line, and then they told me that I couldn't go down it because you need a double float and two people. I explained that it was allowed, it was written on the board. The employee then simply looked down (the sign couldn't be seen from above) and said something in English like: "No, it's not written there and it never was." In the end, they just pushed me onto another slide. After that, I only rode the slides where you don't need a float. And the best one is the first funnel in the middle of the aquapark. It feels great. In the end, I'm not very happy. I won't be coming back to this aquapark a second time.

Luna Park, also known as Luna Parc, is a charming small amusement park offering classic carnival rides such as a ferris wheel, bumper boats, and a mini rollercoaster. In addition to the thrilling rides, visitors can enjoy games to win prizes, miniature golf, and numerous souvenir shops. The park is perfect for friends and families alike with plenty of activities even for those who prefer not to partake in the more intense rides.
There are some pretty cool rides, prices range from 20-40 lei or so. Plenty of places to get food, a few shops as well. It does get pretty crowded, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Kitti — Google review
It’s an old fashion amusement park. Some of the rides, like the Octopus, are classic, and you have to give it a go. There are several bumper cars and carting, a wheel and a small mountain rouse as well as some small rides for children. It’s a great place to spend a few hours and have some old fashion fun.

We recently visited the amusement park in Constanța and it was a really fun experience. The park feels like a traditional fair, with plenty of attractions for both kids and adults – from classic carousels to adrenaline-filled roller coasters. The atmosphere is lively and colorful, just like at a fair, and it’s a great place for families with children as well as groups of friends looking for some fun. I definitely recommend visiting in the evening if you’re in Constanța – it’s a perfect way to enjoy some nostalgia and entertainment under the open sky.
Josef V — Google review
Pretty fun place to spend a couple of hours. It has rides for kids and adults. There arent that many rides but there are enough and they are pretty fun and a good way to get the adrenalin running. There are also a lot of shops full of souvenirs, clothes and all sorts of things, games where you can win prizes. Luna Park also has a bunch of restaurant but most of them serve grilled foods or greasy fast food and of course a lot of vendors selling boiled corn, cotton candy and ice cream.
UpTown F — Google review
Had a decent time, but it wasn't the spectacular day I was hoping for. The park has some solid rides, especially a couple of the roller coasters that were genuinely thrilling. The staff was friendly for the most part, and the park was clean, which I always appreciate. The food can be found at all corners and it's diversed. It was overpriced, which is expected at a theme park, but the quality just wasn't there to justify the cost. Overall, it's a fine park if you don't have to much expectations, but it's not a must-do destination. It has potential, but a few key improvements would make a huge difference.
Paul L — Google review
It's more of a crowded square than an amusement park, but little kids won't make the difference, so, for their happiness, it is worth it.
Andrei T — Google review
A big amusement park for the family to go to. There are plenty of rides and attractions to go to. Also, the old restaurants are still there, along with many new places to eat and party. There are tons of souvenir shops to chose from, albeit they all seem to sell.the same things (most made in china as it looks after a quick browse). On the downside it feels crowded, noisy at times and the beggars are an unfortunate addition to the place. Overall a fun place to take the kids to after a day at the beach.
Petre — Google review
5 stars because this is the only amusement park around, prices are very high in july and august, still you can have fun and a good time.

The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul is a remarkable Eastern Orthodox church located in Constanta, Romania. The building exhibits typical Wallachian architectural style and the interior is adorned with stunning paintings depicting various scenes from the Bible, including the life of Christ as well as depictions of saints. Additionally, there are exquisite icons and relics on display that add to the grandeur of this cathedral. In front of the church lie ancient Roman ruins which further enhance its historical significance.
During our river cruise we were brought here for a walking tour. It was located between Ovid Square and Black Sea. The Cathedral is in Greco-Roman style. It was built in 1881-1885. Its interior was marvelous full of grandeur. The stunning paintings, chandeliers and, intricated carved wooden work is worth seeing. The ambience inside was so soothing and serene.

Beautiful. So ornate. The priests were both separately in discussions with other people and women were vacuuming and preparing floral arrangements. A church with people, I loved it!

The Cathedral of "Saints Peter and Paul" in Constanța, with its Neo-Byzantine style, is an imposing structure. Its ornate facade features intricate brickwork, a large dome, and two tall bell towers. Inside, visitors are greeted by a spacious interior adorned with colorful frescoes and mosaics. The cathedral stands on a hill, offering views of the surrounding cityscape and the Black Sea. Its central location makes it easily accessible and a prominent landmark in Constanța.
Kenneth B — Google review
This cathedral isn’t just a religious building — it’s a statement. Perched above the port, with the Black Sea in the distance and Roman ruins at its feet, Catedrala Sfinții Petru și Pavel feels like something lifted from history and carefully placed into the present. From the outside, the architecture commands attention — neo-Byzantine with Romanian touches, wrapped in a quiet kind of grandeur. Step inside, and you’re greeted by golden light, rich wooden carvings, towering frescoes, and a sacred calm that cuts through the city's usual chaos. Despite ongoing renovations, the space feels incredibly well-preserved. The chandeliers are spectacular, the iconostasis is intricately detailed, and the sense of stillness inside is almost cinematic. It's also fascinating how the cathedral is surrounded by layers of history — mosques, ruins, modern blocks — all coexisting in one strange, beautiful harmony. Definitely worth a visit, whether you’re into architecture, spiritual places, or just need a quiet pause with a view. A true hidden gem in Constanța’s old town — no loud fanfare, just presence.
Flavius — Google review
The cathedral was built in 1880s in Greco Roman style and It was restored after second world war. The church is quite pretty as well. There is no entry fee.

🏛️ One of the most recognisable heritage sites of Constance. The cathedral is located just a short walk from the promenade and proudly stands above the post-excavation site where several ancient structures were discovered. The location is packed with history and Romanian heritage. It continues to serve as an active church as well.
Marcin K — Google review
This Cathedral is astonishing beautiful. The entire inside is painted with scenes of Christ's life, Saint's, and other scenes from the Bible. There are incredible and beautiful Icons and Saint's Relics. In front there are ancient Roman ruins.
Timothy D — Google review
Romania has many pretty Orthodox churches. Being located right next to an Early Christian site from the Roman Empire, makes this ideal to visit in a combo for visiting tourists. Religiously inclined, or otherwise. Being a "Cathedral" it has some "relics". The live music certainly made the visit immersive and impressive. For those so inclined, to burn your standard commemorative candle, they have set up a seperate shed outside. Okay, I'm not Romanian. Or so inclined. But if I were to buy a candle for my mum and light it... I'd take it down to the ruis and sit there contemplating life. Not in the shed.

City Park Mall, located near Tabacarie Park in Constanta, is the largest shopping center in the area. It has been recently renovated and now boasts over 200 shops catering to various tastes and budgets. The mall also features a 4DX cinema, children-friendly areas, and a food court. Visitors can enjoy fairs, exhibitions, and shows organized by City Park Mall regularly. Whether you're looking for fashion items or electronics, this modern shopping complex offers a wide selection of multinational brands.
I find the mall to be clean. I used the restroom on the ground floor, next to Biaggio store and the cleaning lady was there all the time cleaning so bathrooms here are clean. In terms of options are few stores you can visit and few options in terms of fast food stores. Also i saw many people with dogs walking around. Also there is a kids playground especially for younger kids. Overall I recommend.
G — Google review
Only good for shopping, you have everything you want and what you don't want, you can eat fast food or traditional food up to Chinese. You will also find a Carrefour supermarket or you can find brand stores like Adidas etc. spacious parking and you will find places most of the time and on top of that it is free.
Alecs A — Google review
The shopping mall is very well placed within the city and it has good transport connections. Inside, lots of the usual brands stores and food shops, and there's even a 4dx cinema. Enjoy!
Silviu G — Google review
Really nice mall, but the layout is a bit confusing. The bathrooms were, when I went there, twice, without toilet paper. Make sure you have some tissues with you or anything.
Ana ( — Google review
Bad parking, slow entrance with one line for one gate. Limited spaces for car, you have to pay for it also. Inside mall very narrow passage and very limited amount of toilets. Hot inside , feels like there a big economy on climate control and ventilation in WC. Huge line to pay parking!!!!
Cafedeflore — Google review
This place is busy always. But it’s a nice mall and definitely you could find what you need here. Wish they had more events going on , bathrooms are semi clean. Would rate this a solid mall
M. M — Google review
As you expect a mall to be. It was clean, bigger than I expected judging by the exterior. Good food selection.
Andreea G — Google review
Pretty straight forward for a mall, but very tiny and lacking here and there compared to Bucharest malls (I know is not a great comparison, but oh well). The food court in fact was really loud and the space tiny hence crowded also. It was ok-ish, nothing special.

Nice place for kids on bikes and scooters, cafe is near - good coffee

Me and my child visited this amazing skate park. He has experience riding with scooters and loves the hobby. My son stated he loves the skate park, but it needs more management as in taking care of the ramps. For example, the mega-ramp was damaged, so he was a bit unsure if he should ride it or not.
C V — Google review
I tried out the climbing rocks and they were made out of hard plastic, not stone and had a few little holes. the climbing tower though was really cool, with 4 different sides and different difficulty levels. and if you don't have the gear with you, just cirlce around it close to the ground, also a good training :) and it's completely free access!!
Violet S — Google review
This skatepark has the biggest half pipe in Romania but unfortunately it's missing screws and because of that it is a bit rough to ride on, but not just the pipe is missing screws....all the ramps are missing screws. But if you don't mind the sounds the ramps are making is okay. As one of the advanced scooter rider I would consider this skatepark one of the best in Romania. And if I could I would go to this skatepark every day😁
Sky S — Google review
Nice skate park. Good for surfskating as well
Robert S — Google review
It's one of the few places in Constanta of this nature and is well organized and made. It just needs a bit more maintenance and manpower. I would be more than happy to pay a small fee if it would be put to good use.

Parcul Gării is a charming public park situated adjacent to the main train station in Constanta, Romania. Encompassing an expansive 45,300 square meters, this green space boasts a variety of mature trees such as chestnut and poplar that are approximately 60 years old. Open around the clock, it serves as a favored destination for locals seeking leisurely strolls, peaceful moments on benches, and relaxation.
Clean place, good for families wity kids and not only. Good to have sone fresh air, if you need to wait for the train and you have some extra time to spend nearby the rail station.
Corina M — Google review
Newly renovated. I appreciated the new winding paths beneath the old trees, the drinking water fountains, and the different corners of the park: a kids playground, a dog enclosure, an area for hammocks. However, there are too many different types of outdoor furniture, making it look incoherent and kitsch. The public toilets that were constructed years ago with the park are now only accessible to clients of the bar/restaurant that was later built on top. The ones that are actually accessible now are ecological toilets in the middle of the park. The kinetic fountain in the center is still the main attraction in summer, and a delight to watch during the day and at night.
Ela V — Google review
Great park with a bar/cafe, there’s a nice place with hammocks, there’s a playing ground for children and a gelato bar

It's a nice place to hang out with friends and family, alot of parents bring their kids here to play. The fountain is interesting and very big. The place could use some retouching/repairing but overall it's decent.

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Siutghiol, JT Water Sports stands out as one of Romania's premier water parks, offering an exhilarating array of activities for both thrill-seekers and families alike. With options like wakeboarding, flyboarding, kayaking, paddleboarding, and jet-skiing available, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The park is particularly welcoming to beginners with experienced instructors ready to guide you through your first attempts at wakeboarding.
Good idea, excellent place. Especially the kids loved it. Much better services than the ones offered directly on the beach and a larger variety. There are lifeguards on the track (anyway is mandatory the life jacket), but the lifeguards is a good plus. The place is fun also for adults, not only for children. Here are some prices for example for the obstacle track in august 2019: 35 RON for 1 hour, 50 RON for 2 hours.

they literally didn’t answer the phone and google says it is open i came from another country to ride and they just turned around saying “it’s closed sorry” IF YOU ARE CLOSED PLEASE TELL IT ON YOUR PAGE honestly it pissed me off. 1/5, very very bad the worst client service i’ve ever experienced

Best place for water sports in Mamaia. Longest wakeboard cable system in the country.
Adrian I — Google review
Very impolite, rude staff together with a manager (a man around 60s)! I paid tickets for me and my daughter for 2 hours. Finally we stayed 3 hours more and I asked the staff to bill us the whole day instead of 5 hours. The whole day tickets would have been 240 lei but for 5 hours they asked more (320 lei). The reason was that I should say from the beginning that we want to stay more than 2 hours. But when we entered we didn’t know how long we will stay…. So at the end 5 hours were more expensive than a whole day ticket which was normal in their opinion. It’s not about money but it’s about fairness.

The displayed program is only for summertime season, but no one bothers to update it. We went there to rent a hydrobicycle, and they were closing 2 hours earlier. It is not a singular case, many places in Mamaia/Constanța just don't bother to update their programs or displaying useful message in the updates section, like "we will be closed for the next few days". You will only find this out when getting there.

As you make your way from the fountains towards the charming old town, a delightful stop is the Archeological Park. This serene space is adorned with an array of statues, with the highlight being the impressive Victory Monument. Erected in 1968 by sculptor Boris Caragea, this monument symbolizes communism's triumph over fascism and serves as a poignant reminder of history amidst the park's tranquil surroundings.

Nestled by a serene lakeside, The Microreservation in Constanța is a delightful 12-hectare haven that combines natural beauty with wildlife conservation. This charming zoo features an array of animals, including majestic pelicans, graceful swans, and playful ducks. Visitors can also encounter rare mammals like mouflons and fallow deer amidst the lush Dobrogea vegetation.
Beautiful mini-zoo! The children loved it! Definitely worth a visit when you are around in Constanta. A lovely and peaceful visit here will give you a break from the crowded beaches in the summer.
Bogdan C — Google review
Really i liked this mini zoo and also the kids was so happy. The animals in a very good condition and look healthy the lake around the zoo is beautiful and you can watch alot of birds there. Its nice place to have a great time with your kids.
Moh T — Google review
The facility lacks a bit of maintenance on some areas and sometimes the animals keeps fighting because of the small space (specially the birds species). Otherwise is a nice place to spend the day, very friendly animals, it's a great place to come with small children.
Nerea H — Google review
The animals are beautiful but the conditions and maintenance is terrible, and the bathroom is filthy.
Darius P — Google review
Very beautiful animals, well-groomed and well-fed. But the territory of the park is in a neglected state. Despite this, the child was delighted. For two adults and a child, they paid 35 RON. The territory is large, there is a place to walk and take beautiful photos.
Марина Л — Google review
The animals here are not well fed or well taken cared off, there’s multiple cages that look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. I have never been to a zoo that doesn’t take care of their wild life well and I am so disappointed and hurt when I have seen how the animals are living. I also noticed that the animals don’t have water noor food in their cages, the goats are jumping to try and get some leaves off of a tree cause they are starving and there needs to be something done about this.
Jasmin S — Google review
Very nice walk around a small lake with lots of animals to view. No exotic species except the parrots but they all seemed pretty content. A perfect way to spend a couple of hours after the fantastic dolphin show!
Richard U — Google review
We have visited them during the Easter Holidays. For adults the entrance fee was 8 Lei and for students - 2 Lei. It is very spacious and there is a big variety of animals, but still there were a lot of cages that were empty. Have in mind that in Constanta there are not a lot of things to do. So visiting the Microrezercarie is one of the few things that you can fill your time.
