The park is nice, even if some parts aren't maintained on a daily basis. The unknown soldier monument is impressive and the park had many locals come to ride, jog, or just walk work their children. It gives a feeling that you're visiting their place, not so much a tourist trap, which is refreshing.

A beautiful park slightly off the main city area. Found by mistake but well worth a visit. If we had been able to read Google maps then we wouldn't have found it!!! A moving tribute memorial to the unknown soldier which has a guard constantly. Then a walk down a different path on the way out led to the most amazing little restaurant & bar underneath a bridge called Le Pod. Definitely go and enjoy a beer 🍻😊

This is a lovely park! Lots of shaded paths and benches. There’s a charming little waterfall with a little pond in the middle where you can rent paddle and row boats. There’s an epic playground for kids. There are a number of places where you can stop for a coffee, some food and snacks (including ice cream). Great spot to kill some time on a hot day.

Maybe this is one of the oldest park in Bucharest, I’m not sure, but carries some “little Paris” vibes. If you like the colourful part of nature, I recommend to visit it between March and October.

Beautiful park. Nice walking aleys, the pond with boats and pedal boats makes a nice athmosphere, big old trees providing plenty of shade and playgrounds for kids. Great place to spend an afternoon for the whole family.

One of the central parks of Bucharest. I don't like it because it has gravel instead of asphalt or concrete so walking in any open shoes or with thin soles is pretty unpleasant. The playground is pretty unmaintained with old equipment. The wannabe "creek" that crosses the park is more like a trap for any ball or moving toys. Always kids must be diverted and reminded that they might break a leg or arm if they fall into the concrete creek. Pretty old and beaen benches. At least it has a toilet. Pretty dusty and unpleasant as whole. Even if it is in downtown Bucharest it is a far cry from other modern parks, a bit further into the city. Worth a visit, but nothing more, a disappointment over all.

Overall its nice place, Not the best botanical garden but lovely. You can have some nice pictures near the pond (my wife has those pictures). I also recommend to buy the juice from the orange machine it was very fresh and tasty.

Very nice, I suggest to visit if you came to Bucharest. Just for 3 € you can relax and enjoy nature, feed the ducks and see a lot of species of plants. The only thing is, I think the bathrooms are not so clean and overall they should take care of the little streets. Overall very beautiful!

It’s an average botanical garden. Not the greatest I’ve visited, for sure. Signs were missing for some plants or were just wrong. It doesn’t have a great variety of plants either. I’ll have to come back in different seasons to give it another chance.

Early August might not be the best time to visit the Botanical Garden in Bucharest… Almost everything was quite dry and poorly maintained. Compared to the Botanical Garden in Cluj, unfortunately this one is quite disappointing. ⚠️The ticket prices are divided by sections and only available for purchase at the entrance (where no one mentions that there are multiple sections you can visit…) or online. Adult entry 15 lei, museum 15 lei, greenhouses 15 lei… (Cluj 16 lei for everything) I could also talk about the security staff at the entrance… but better not.” The best thing we saw were the fish in the greenhouse.

I am extremely disappointed with this botanical garden. The roads are bumpy and poorly maintained, and most of the flowers are dead. There is almost nothing to see, yet the ticket price is charged as if it were worth visiting – it is absolutely not. The benches look like they are from the last century and are tied together just so you can sit on them. There is a serious lack of toilets and basic facilities. I expected an educational and enjoyable experience for children, but instead, they learned nothing. This place feels abandoned and neglected, and it gets worse and worse over time. Definitely not worth a visit. ---

We spent every day in this garden, the ticket for students is 2€ and it’s possible to pay by card. There are new clean toilets and even a little caffe shop with cakes

Spacious gardens. Planting areas and some specimens are identified. Plenty seating areas. Kiosk style cafe with limited selections. Easy to get there by bus. It was too hot to go in the glasshouse.

A huge lake with a scenic path along the bank. There are many magnificent swamp green cypresses on the bank. You'll find many good cafes & restaurants here, playgrounds for children, sports grounds. One of the sports ground very old, iron & tough, especially for workout men & women) Only horizontal bar, ladder, rope with knots & pylon(look at it in the last photo)!!! A very good place for running in hot weather, because you are running all distance along the bank with beautiful landscape and in a shadow of trees.

The biggest park in Bucharest! We have enjoyed strolling throughout the park. One may choose to avail the bike rentals but be careful as the bike lanes are allotted in between pedestrian lanes. There are plenty of kiosks to buy local and commercial ice creams, baked goods and drinks. Likewise many restaurants to choose from. Nice view by the lake definitely! It can be crowded in the evening as many families spend time here. Some part of the park requires better maintenance otherwise really beautiful. You can rent a private paddling boat or just buy a ticket for 15 Lei for a 25 minute boat ride like we did because the weather was too hot. You'll better appreciate the place with this short boat tour but no audio guide available. We had late lunch at a big and busy restaurant calles Beraria. There are oftentimes a big event happening here during summer. Though we were surprised how the staffs acted efficiently and they all spoke fluent English as communication for locals was a huge problem in many places. We spend time here pleasurably by visiting at the last moment the the National village museum located also just near the park. An entrance fee of 15 lei for adults. We went there about 1hr before closing time (19:00) which is not enough. Better allot about 2 to 2.5 hours when visiting this museum. Worth the visit!

Nice place to relax, playgrounds for kids, playground for dogs, dedicated track for jogging (not usable during the busy days), large lake in the middle, new fountains . Difficult to be reached and to enjoy for the people in a manual wheelchair ...works well for those in electric wheelchairs as there are tracks on different elevation levels connected with stairs or the alkey has a high gradient.

One of the really nice places I visited in Bucharest was Alexandru Ioan Cuza Park and honestly I didn’t expect it to be this peaceful and beautiful. If you want to walk relax or just clear your mind this is the spot. There’s a big lake inside the park that gives the whole place a calming vibe. I walked around it the full loop is around 4 km so it’s perfect if you want a one hour walk. You don’t feel the time at all because you’re surrounded by nature the whole way. What caught my attention were the fountains in the middle of the lake. They’re simple but add a nice touch especially when the sunlight hits the water. You’ll also see a lot of ducks and turtles just chilling by the lake or swimming around. It really gives life to the park and makes it feel like you’re walking through something more than just trees and pathways. The park is full of green spaces big trees small bridges and quiet benches. Whether you’re alone or with someone it’s just a good place to sit down and enjoy. What I liked is that it’s not too crowded even on weekends. You see families people jogging walking dogs but it’s still calm. If you’re in Bucharest and looking for a chill place to walk have coffee or just disconnect from the city noise I’d definitely recommend this park. It’s one of those hidden gems that’s not always on the tourist list but gives you a real feel of the city’s peaceful side. Alexandru Ioan Cuza Park simple clean relaxing you’ll enjoy it for sure.

It's a great place to roam around or just seat on grass or hang a hammock and relax. The park is really clean. And adding the fountain at the Lake as it's new night attraction. It's very close to where I leave and comes here with my son almost everyday. The only this missing is to have more proper Toilets around the park. Overall its a great place to spend with friends or family.

I really enjoyed the walk on this park. I don't know if it was the large number of trees that made the difference or the beautiful lake, but the atmosphere was astonishing. this is such a lovely park, but many areas look neglected. We spent about 4 hours on Wednesday morning walking around, sitting by the lake and exploring the village museum which is connected to the park. There were a few people walking, running, and fishing. Also some people selling crafts or snacks. Overall, it is a very quiet relaxing time at big city park.

The biggest park in Bucharest. The alleys in some sections are literally breaking, most clearly noticed by those who choose to ride bicycles. In other places, the banks are about to collapse, this is best seen in winter when there is no water in the lake. I expect this park to be managed soon by an involved person who will bring out its true potential, through some very necessary and urgent changes and consolidations, which will highlight the charm that this place has.

Autumn at its best, lakeside views, boating, saw Osage orange trees, turtles; Hard Rock cafe and multiple stalls selling a variety of foods (we had fresh orange juice and corn). You can relax and unwind the whole day. Close to Arc De Triumph.

Lovely park in the heart of sector 4, lots of space and activities but is not that clean and there aren't so many people around most of the time, and it has been recently modernized.

Nice place to spend time with family. Well kept, lots of shadowed places, playgrounds and a soft running lane. Plus an indoor botanical garden. I miss a place to buy a beverage. Or at least an automatic beverage dispenser. I hate when they use this park for Christmas Fair. Too long, to loud and it attracts many questionable characters. This should be a place to rest all year long.

Relaxing place with a lot of 'green'. A fairly well-maintained park with several playgrounds for children; running track for adults and young people for practice. There is a small lake where you can ride pedal boats and admire the surroundings. In the middle of the park is a nice illuminated bridge that you can walk on and relax. It's absolutely worth visiting even as a tourist in Bucharest: the city has many beautiful parks, but this one is really wonderful and very well maintained. There's a nice lake, a bridge with exciting architecture, a botanical garden, a small museum with sculptures made from motorbike parts, a light hedge maze, toilets, etc., all free of charge. Right next to the M5 metro stop. In winter there is also an skating rink and a Christmas market.

A park where you can walk in peace, with many landscaped spaces and lots of greenery. The spaces designed for children, adults and even for dogs, which can be accessed in the evening, being a beautifully lit park. Of note are the modern metal constructions, such as the illuminated bridge and the botanical garden that can be visited. Of course you can enjoy a ride with a hydrobike.

A lovely and large park. During Christmas there is one of the lovely Christmas markets there. There are lots and lots of food and drink stalls, clothes and souvenirs. There are lots and lots of activities for children and young people, there is ice skating, a Ferris wheel, and a place for performances. I highly recommend not giving up.

Most well-maintained park in Bucharest and quite filled with activities. You can rent boats, watch movies during the month of August, and there's plenty of room to just relax and reconnect with nature while in the middle of a city.

Good zoo that is a few steps below some of the great zoos. However they have an excellent brown bear and tiger exhibit. Nice way to spend an hour or 90 minutes.

A pleasant memory with my niece. She enjoyed seeing all the animals and getting to know about them a bit. We played some games and had fun. It would have been nice if the information about the animals were more kid friendly: more games and pictures about the information rather than pure text. For instance find 5 reptiles which eat bugs. I would have surely lease a tool to help my niece learn easier. All in all very nice experience, especially for children.

Decently sized zoo, except for the animal enclosures. They definitely should be a lot larger. The eagles flap their wings two times and they already reach the end of the enclosure. Some of the big cats have it better, but they still could be improved. The crocodile barely has enough space.

This zoo has some potential, but it seemed like the management could take care of the zoo a little more. It could use a wider selection of animals in comparison to other zoos in Romania like Brasov and Sibiu. Some of the enclosures were rather small for the animals. The reptile house was a little better and the reptile habitats were decent. It was good to check out this zoo, but would probably not come back again.

Quite small zoo. I felt sorry for several animals. The brown bear was worst, it seemed not to be well at all. Some parts were not too tidy. There were also fences and covers on them. It was hard to see to some cages. Cheap entry, but I don't want to support a place like this at all.

Good park for kids, a little wild i would say, is not that crowded. Very old and big trees. Nice park to walk and relax, also they have some interesting playground for the kids.

It was nice. I went to play basketball there, there are some okay courts, and along the way, I got to see an overview of the park. Not in the best shape, but not bad either, worth checking out and I will be playing more basketball. :)

During summer and autumn months there is a weekend fair with various food stalls serving local dishes from around Romania. They also bake bread there on the spot using an ancient and original method. I visited the park during autumn and it was a pleasant experience. I lived for many years in Bucharest, but only now I discovered this area. The landscape was a little dry so I will try to visit it in spring as well to compare the view.

Stunning natural park. A real treat to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and its right there in the centre.

I don’t know what to think of this place along with the city of Bucharest. It feels like you’re in a nuclear war zone, like a scene in The Last of Us. It doesn’t seem maintained like a park and it was really dry when we went at the end of the summer. I couldn’t tell it was a delta. That’s all a summary of what people have said in their reviews… but I realized this is what people miss: 🌾 It’s not meant to be a classic recreational park and more an area for natural exploration 🌾 Unique landscape in the middle of the city 🌾 Wild birds, reptiles and other rare species 🌾 If you’re into apocalyptic landscapes this place is a gold mine It may not be for everyone but after traveling to 31 countries, I can confirm this is truly a unique thing to see in a city. It’s definitely something that could belong in Atlas Obscura. It really could use some better facilities like a nice stairway though.

Beautiful wild nature in the heart of Bucharest, that I really hope will remain like this. I used to come here with my family 30 years ago and is so nice to see that this area has escape untouched by the modern times of “erase nature and grow buildings”. Disaster to wonder about a good walk in a natural fauna. No one looks after the area. Silent.. nowhere to sit and see a view. Interesting and sad to see that a beautiful area with concrete plates.. why these concrete plates here?! No need to come here and experience, may be for observing birds matches the needs.

I did a nice walk on the paths, you also have some information panels with the wild life form the park! And 2 beautiful observation points from where you have a 360 degree view to observe the birds! I recommend to have a binocular, like that you will have a nicer experience!

Good potential, but still needs a lot of work for cleani n and improvement. Some occasional popular festivals and concerts are disgusting. The water fountain is very ugly and a danger for the public health because of the huge amount of germs it is spraying in the air.

There are two parks: Plumbuita I and Plumbuita II, but they are alike))) There is no rubber path for running, but it is a good two-lane road along the bank of the lakes without any cars! Many playgrounds for children, a lot of shades(thanks to old big trees), WC, taps with fresh water.

Nice park, loved the decorations, bridges, landscape architecture, mostly the statue on the lake, guess is an metal masterpiece of the artist Lucaci. Same style as the ones I saw in Braila and also on the National Theater. Was so late, dark so I will visit also on daytime to see that stunning piece of art. Nice, quiet and I saw it with the fresh snow, was a nice quality time spent there.

Terrible music tonight, 15th of June 2025, bored crowded (mainly youngsters with no energy) and overpriced drinks.Tons of noise and people who were not even having fun or enjoying themselves while being there. Went to Q Club with some ex colleagues from work and everyone felt disappointed as we were hoping for so much more but the DJ set managed to destroy every good iconic track that was played. Don’t think we’ll repeat the experience as there were more people outside than inside which should make the owner think twice before having international DJs. Overpriced, overrated and dissatisfying all together. Do not recommend :(

The drinks are MUCH cheaper than in the U.S. for decent quality of liquor you get (55 lei ~ $11 for 2 vodka sodas, or about $5 per Absolut and soda; they use Jamieson as their well whiskey). We met a lot of fun and friendly people here, both locals and other tourists. In terms of music, on Friday night it seemed to mostly be older 70s and 80s music, which we are not into, but as the night progressed the music got better and more modern. When we come back to Romania we will definitely come back here!

Botanical garden with seven greenhouses. Free guided tours every half hour. Coming from the metro station, the entrance was on the left, with the times next to it. You stay for 2-3 minutes in a single greenhouse and there are enough plants to see and interesting new things & namings to take in. I went there 3 times and just when I had my first experience I listened closely and remained with 2-3 ideas from the guide. It was at the beginning when there were two women per tour to explain and supervise.

Unique attraction for adults and children! 🔝 I discovered the 7 greenhouses in Drumul Taberei park by chance while searching the internet for an alternative to the Botanical Garden for an excursion - educational program with school during "Green Week". These greenhouses have been visited since 2020. They have an area of 1,500 square meters that houses approximately 4,000 plants from 300 species. Among the spectacular plants that can be admired are the peace lily, the weeping ficus, the 300-year-old olive tree brought from Greece, but also palm trees over 50 years old, mango, avocado and many others. Visitors can discover plants of impressive size, some reaching even 10 m in height. Very well organized tour of the greenhouses, with explanations and definitely with prior telephone reservation. The guided tour with all the necessary explanations is free of charge and lasts half an hour. Visited March 2025

Excellent experience for adults and kids, entrance is free, green certificate required. The tour is guided and the guide is very knowledgeable. Overall a great experience. Bonus, the kids received a banana each, collected directly from the tree by the guide. Photos are allowed and I did over 60.

Nice greenhouses in Drumul Taberei park, feels like you are visiting Botanical Garden. There are 7 of them, each with different area plants (mediteranean, tropical etc), well designed, even that the sections are small. Well worth the visit, that is free of charge. You can enter only in small groups, normally 12 pers/group (these times, with the pandemic, only 7pers/group) and with guidance from ladies that present each section. You don't need appointment for less than 3 people. For larger groups contact by email "sere@primarie6.ro" (they respond quickly). The visit takes half an hour. Well worth it.

A wonderful experience! The guided tour made the visit even more special — the guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the plants. The greenhouses are beautifully kept and full of life.

A nice little park with fountains, coffee vending machines, picnic tables, public toilets, playground, basketball/soccer area, dog park and plenty benches to sit on.

It's a good place to relax or play a sport in this park, but I see that the equipment is not being replaced as often as I expected. At the time I'm writing this review, on February 2024, the basketball hoops are rusty, the faucets you can see around the park are clogged, maybe because the sewerage system is broken right now. My recommendation is to visit this park (any park actually) at summer.

A nice place to relax and unwind. Well maintained, it offers nicely trimmed trees, regularly cut grass, and clean benches. The water fountains add serenity and relaxation in a otherwise busy area of the city. Kids will love the playgrounds -- safe and clean.

I honestly love this park and I visit it everyday. it's a great place to bring children due to the 2 parks nearby, and it's also a good place for playing badminton, riding your bike, scooter or taking a simple stroll around the place. there are also quite a few stores nearby, which is great, knowing that if you're in the park and wanting a snack, you could go to the nearby stores. it's a great place to visit in my opinion, 5 stars :)
