Pendora Park is a delightful public space that offers a variety of amenities for visitors of all ages. With its well-maintained play areas, sports facilities including basketball courts and baseball fields, and several pavilions available for rent, it’s an ideal spot for family outings or casual gatherings. The park features beautiful wooded trails perfect for leisurely strolls and a serene creek that adds to the tranquil atmosphere. My go-to park to bring any hyperactive kid, it's a big area, and there's lots of space to run freely lol
Cathy M — Google review
Over all great park, a lot of play area and sitting room. Just needs to be cleaned up a bit
Moñe — Google review
Nice place to walk your dog or take the kids to play
Sherry S — Google review
Love it up there
Edward D — Google review
Use to come here as a kid and loved it. 25 years later it needs some tlc. I wish they'd get the curse words off the playground equipment..... And restore the pool swimming area. It could be gorgeous and still was entertaining to see to this day but still.... My 5 yr old however enjoyed it and didn't notice anything wrong. He is asking to go back asap.
Mary C — Google review
It's a great place to take pictures!! There might be a few trash pieces here and there but for the most part it's clean. Nice and peaceful place that's also great for dog walks.
Gen G — Google review
I found it to be clean and well maintained.
Mary K — Google review
Nice little park in a great location. Basketball games seem to be going on all the time if you want to take a break and enjoy some backyard basketball. Good place for the kids burn some energy. Peaceful and surprisingly quiet. Definitely recommend even if just for a quick break from a hectic day. Enjoy.

Sister Cities Park, located at the center of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, is a vibrant city park featuring a 10-geyser fountain representing Philadelphia's ten sister cities around the world. The park offers various attractions such as the Children’s Discovery Garden, which transforms into a special playground during winter, and a toy-boat pond. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of skyscrapers, historic cathedrals, and museums while exploring this scenic green space.
Amazing water play park for little kids. The ankle high pool of water has a lifeguard nearby who skims the water keeping it clean. Kids dart from one zone to another in the tree covered oasis. Kids climb on rocks, jump over fountains, and send boats racing down the streams. ⭐️🍪 Bring the bathing suits, change of clothes, and water shoes that help with slipping. Expect to make new friends. ❤️ 👍🏽 FOLLOW THE STAR BISCUITS for more family friendly tips, adventures, and ideas!
The B — Google review
We were pleasantly surprised. Really didn't know what to expect from the review and what ppl told me. The park itself is small and very detailed. It has water features kids would love from 6 months to maybe even 10. There is a café in the middle (didn't go this time) so you could get food or a drink will you're there. The path to the hanging net is so neat. A section of the park is stroller free be prepared to leave it. There is a good amount of shade as well
Honey N — Google review
Great park for the kids. My toddler had a blast playing with the various water features. There is even space to have a picnic. Could use a better bathroom and an addition of a changing room would be nice.
Christine D — Google review
Sister Cities Park is one of Philly’s most charming little green spaces — perfect for relaxing, people-watching, or letting kids cool off. The main highlight is the **interactive water fountain** that kids can play in during the warmer months. It’s super family-friendly and always full of energy and laughter. There are plenty of benches and shaded spots around, making it a great place to sit and take a break, especially if you’re walking from the nearby museums. The park is located right next to the famous Logan Square roundabout and has a beautiful view of the Swann Memorial Fountain. It feels peaceful despite being in the heart of the city. Whether you're grabbing a snack from the nearby Sister Cities Café or just looking for a quiet moment, this park is a perfect little oasis. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
Francis S — Google review
In Philly with the kids? This is a MUST! Wading pool, “river Walk” and spray fountain area. So much fun!
Rachel C — Google review
Small but efficiently laid out park. Plenty of water features. Good place for toddlers to play. Bathrooms were moderately clean but are located in the cafe and are not accessible after the cafe closes.
Max N — Google review
A wonderful place to bring children. There's a Cafe, a bathroom with a changing station, a sprinkler and gated area with a small pool surrounded by trees, additional sprinklers and a large hammock. Parking isn't too much of a hassle as spots are often opening up on the parkway, however if you can avoid driving down and either walking or using Septa it may save having to drive around until something opens up.. I would suggest this place 1000 times over for parents looking for a nice comfortable place to cool off
Queen L — Google review
A cool place on the way from Art museum to Love park. The main attraction is the fountain and AMOR statue shown in the pictures below. One can get inside the fountain and enjoy. Also there is a small fountain for kids to enjoy across the street. Paid parking is available nearby. Sister park cafe is also located in the kids park.

This is a beautiful berks county park. My wife and I enjoyed walking along the creek, crossing a bridge, and observing the wildlife and foliage. I’d recommend this park, especially when we visited in early May.

I was only in Reading for one day and wanted to find a nice park with trails and old historic buildings, a river, and big trees, and that is exactly what I got. It is beautiful here! Clean and available restrooms as well!!

This place was a pleasant surprise. I didn't walk around the area too much. I just walked over the bridge and back. But it's a really beautiful bridge and mill house on the creek. I enjoyed shooting some photography here. The damn is really neat. The water was moving quite fast.

Park
Pretty nice area, big park, well kept
Neal — Google review
Very easy to access with plenty of parking. There are no restroom facilities except for porta-johns. There are no concession areas for food or drink. Easy access to the waterfront, along with walking / Leisure areas
David B — Google review
Clean open park, many activities can take place here. Picnic, basketball, baseball, nice trails to walk, playground for children, and even a doggy park for your furry friend. Highly recommend.
Evelyn R — Google review
Nice stretch of river. But everybody and their brother go there. And a lot of disrespectful littering pigs mess it up along with other places I go. PUT YOUR TRASH in the trash cans. If you can't help yourselves, stay home and watch a nature show and throw your trash in your own yard. 🤬
Bill B — Google review
Jim Dietrich Park is part of Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation. Park includes dog parks, basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, pavilions, and more! Special Events & Rental information for fields, pavilions and the farmhouse can be found on the Muhlenberg Township website

Entire lake and pathway blocked with no trespassing signs up. No indication of when it will be lifted.
Kristin P — Google review
Nice little park with a playground and fenced-in basketball and hockey courts. The lake is beautiful and has a nice path around it, great place for a stroll or to check out the ducks.
Andrew C — Google review
Love this park I came too this park since I was little but now they wanted the pond and it ain't the same anymore taking my walks down there but still love going still
Amanda R — Google review
Great place to fish. Some good size bass in there just not easy to catch.
Anthony N — Google review
Nice, quiet place, nothing amazing, but usually a nice duck pond.
Rob W — Google review
This is one park I don’t mind coming to for myself and with my children. Also, on the other side there is a pool but, you must be a member.
Bri A — Google review
Great new playground area for toddlers and older children. Off street parking. I enjoy taking a walk around the lake to feed the ducks/geese, too. The only drawback is not having restroom facilities available.

Fantastic! My wife and I love to come here and enjoy the park. And we played our softball league here as well. Very well kept park.

My mom hosted my youngest brother's (a 2025 graduate, hollar!) graduation party here. This is an absolutely beautiful and adorable community space, perfect for a picnic, day out, or hosting a gathering. They do require reservations so make sure you have a pavilion booked and prepaid before planning your event in detail.
Jordan — Google review
I love this park its clean, I love the track they have you can walk laps and doesn't feel long, restrooms are open and clean, the basketball courts are nice and the playground is clean also there are benches everywhere to sit and rest. Love it!!!

9Happy Landings and Exeter Community Park

Park
Great park with lots of room for lots of activities. The main action is at the lower part of the park. Drive down to the bottom where there is a wonderful playground, sand volleyball courts, pavilions and lots of green. Tennis courts and periodic workout stations offer a complete list of activities. On the upper portion are 3-4 soccer and 1 baseball/ softball field. In the winter, the upper grass banks are used for great sledding fun.
Michael H — Google review
This is a community park that is open to the public. Plenty of parking. It has a Porter potty and one trash can. A few rusted metal benches. There is one that is under a tree. The rest are out in the open with no shade. The park has two sides of playground equipment. One for older kids and one for younger kids like toddlers. They consist of a small rock climbing, plastic slides, tic tac toe, and monkey bars. There are a total of 8 basketball hoops with two of them without a net or hoop just the backboard. BUT it makes it into 1/4 of basketball court. They are set up in a square for two "courts". There is concrete on the playground for hopscotch and other games of that sort on the ground. It's very open. And lastly there are HUGE fields for soccer. Some of the goals don't have netting. The fields don't have trees on it but it has benches and the grass is well maintained and cut. Also, there is a small area for baseball. Beyond the park are trees and a housing community. Overall a very quiet, decent, well maintained park. CONS: Wish there were more trees or playground coverings for the plastic playground during the hot days especially like this one (It's summer and it's 93°F).
F A — Google review
Date of first visit was Sunday January 14, 2024. Spacious park with an excellent tennis court and soccer field. Signs are posted that no dogs are allowed in the park.
Richard K — Google review
I love this park. There is a fitness circuit, a broad shallow creek for stomping, a great little child area with a nice sand play area, and basketball courts. It has 2 pavilions with updated picnic tables, ample trash cans, and handicap accessible bathrooms. The older kids playground is wooden and large (4 or 5 large elements) but some of the features were missing this time - tire swing, the metal zip sliders, for example. Overall wonderful park. Needs a bench in shade for parents up at the big kid area.
Elizabeth L — Google review
Nice place for the kids to get outdoors and get dirty like we did years ago. Playground is a highlight for kids of many ages. Small stream meanders through the park for the kids the get wet and explore. Bathrooms with running water and flushing toilets are open most of the year. Tennis courts, basketball courts, and a baseball field are also available for all ages to enjoy. Nice generally quiet place for a day trip. A pavillion with tables can be utilized as long as it isn't reserved which you can reserve for a family get together or a picnic with friends and family.
Rob M — Google review
It is a nice field, ideal for soccer, básquetbol and tennis. They have a couple of portable potty...and that is it!!!. It is as shame that the beautiful playgrounds are gone, also the pavilion is gone. Where are the kids going to play? Why to remove a play ground and no add a better one???
Andrea P — Google review
It used to be so nice, but instead of repairing the large playground area the township just removed it all. There's still a small playground for younger children, but not much do to there for older kids.
Therese B — Google review
Equipment could use a good refresh. Also bees/wasps weren't too bad but worth mentioning. I was just there on 4/28/18 and there was a few pieces of equipment that were locked out or not all there... Not sure if safety issues or just broken but come on guys, it's been like this for at least a few years now... Sort of embarrassing as an exeter resident that the twp or school can let this stuff go for so long. On a positive note my son did have a good time but I attribute that mostly to there being other kids there his age. Meanwhile you can look up the hill to lausch elementary school... Very nice equipment but no kids...

The Easter party was great. The burgers was plumbed and juice. The Easter bunny participated in the dancing with the kids and the adults. My son enjoyed himself so much that he didn't want to leave. Thank God for the good people left in this world.
Yvonne T — Google review
This playground is almost abandoned but is still maintained by the city. Playground equipment is in fair working condition . Basketball courts used by public. Baseball field has unknown use. A community garden is there and in use. Not a bad place to take the kids. Very quiet and pretty clean.
Jeni E — Google review
It's literally a place where bums and drug addicts go. Also gives off run down vibes.I went for a stroll and ran into a drunk.. he was trying to talk to me and pretty much harassing me I vigorously walked away.,
Vivian A — Google review
I played a street concert there today with Barrio Alegria. They also had a drawing class for children simultaneously which I believe was also run by Barrio Alegria. It was fun, and the park is about what you would expect. There were a group of kids playing basketball on the court nearby, and at the other end it looked like there were swings and the usual stuff for little children.
Dave P — Google review
Very nice park. Has basketball courts, baseball field, playground, gardens, benches, a picnic table and grills. The park is hardly used and pretty clean.
Christopher L — Google review
STOP DON'T BRING YOUR Kids HERE. I brought my friends Three kids here while babysitting. It was run down. Glass every where and empty drug bag's littered the playground.
Jacinth ( — Google review

This is a great park for a quick walk, specially if you have a dog. Our corgi gets super excited to come here and always leaves just tired enough to nap the rest of the day.
Abdul D — Google review
Very nice trails with numerous ways to make your walk longer or shorter. Pets welcome
Wendy W — Google review
I love this trail! With all the the switchbacks and turns it is longer than you would think, but it is probably only 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. It is well maintained and lovely. You are allowed to bring dogs as long g as they are leashed.
Mary K — Google review
Very relaxing spot for a walk.
Shane R — Google review
Very pleasant. Clean and well groomed. Large area with 3 different but connected circuits. Dogs allowed. Great Vista to watch sunset. Never crowded. Open year round. Super in the fall.
Patrick R — Google review
Excellent Walking paths, easy, took about half an hour with two kids to do the paved path, didn't try the other yet. There are some Pavillions that look like they have electricity. Ample parking, no jungle gym that I saw.
Joe P — Google review
Great walking trails and open spaces for dogs to play. Portopotties are disgusting and actual bathrooms are always locked. Most dogs are not leashed (despite signs requiring leashes). Too many owners cannot control their unleashed "friendly" dogs. I was actually attacked by one of these dogs in April 2018. Located right next to school, so often many kids near by. Ample parking and trash cans.

Nature preserve
Mount Penn Preserve offers a network of interconnected trails, including the Mount Penn Preserve trail, which leads to urban centers for convenient breaks. The area is praised for its natural beauty and provides opportunities for hiking, biking, and fishing. Visitors can enjoy stunning views from the Pagoda and even climb the William Penn Fire Tower on certain weekends. Antietam Lake Park features new amenities for outdoor activities and hosts various programs for all ages.
Cool spot...pretty steep...our onewheels didn't have enough torque for most of the up. The down was fun, but a little sketch with all the leaves piled up hiding rocks and roots...the time of year it made it fairly sporty. Better for mountain bikes and hiking, but still fun. Plan on carrying your board 90% up hills if on OW.
Danny P — Google review
Trail started in the city of reading wonderful clear path highlights this beautiful walk it ends at Antietam lake where you end your journey by panning for gold in the feeder creek a family must hike you will learn foliage and other amazing facts

Jason C — Google review
Pics all taken at different times. We are always going there! If you like hiking it is a peaceful trail. No one really bothers you. There is usually no one around - sometimes another group or a jogger/runner or two.
Bianca M — Google review
Cool place to explore. The trails are rocky in some spots so be careful. Bring the kids to have them experience nature and get out of the city. No food or playgrounds nearby. On-street parking only.
Richard K — Google review
I would love it to go and see the sights with my wife
Russ Y — Google review
Great place to live and play. The area is absolutely beautiful. Great place just to walk the trails and take in nature. The people that take their trash up here and dump along the roads and over the wall along skyline drive, should be taken to the top of the tower and thrown off for ruining such a beautiful pristine area. Lower Alsace, Berks country, City of Reading and various groups spend lots of money and many hours trying to keep the entire mountain maintained and clean for all to enjoy. So why trash this area up, that's what empty lots in the city are for : ). The mountain trails and sites are just absolutely beautiful and everyone should get out and spend a few hours taking it all in.
H. K — Google review
Lots of great places to hike, bike, fish and visit! The Pagoda is one of my favorite places to go, you get an amazing view of the City of Reading. The William Penn Fire Tower is not too far from the Pagoda and on certain weekends, you can actually climb all the way to the top! Antietam Lake Park has got a lot of nice new features for fishing and hiking. There are also a lot of programs for kids, families and adults offered at the Angora Fruit Farm area of Antietam Lake Park. Great trails throughout the entire Mount Penn Preserve. There are also a good bit of food and drink choices with various restaurants in the Mount Penn Preserve. This is a nice treasure to have just outside the City of Reading!

I moved here 2 years ago and I'm loving it. Every neighbor and surrounding residents are very nice. The management is very kind, respectful and helpful. Kevin and Nancy help keep this park in great shape. The community center is beautiful and clean i gave them 5 stars 🏅because they deserve it!

This small community park has two baseball fields and a small children's playground. With two baby/toddler swing, two older kids swing. This park also has a seesaw and a couple slides with lots of parking and benches for sitting while watching your children play. Also has one picnic table so pack a lunch & enjoy a day at the park.
Diana — Google review
This is just a baby park with 4 swings (two baby and two big). It has one seesaw, two jungle gyms that connect with a total of two swings, monkey bars and three fun climb ups and one set of stairs. The best part about this playground if you have a dog or kids who love to run though, are the two baseball fields right down the hills. Going for a roll and then run is a blast!
Sasha K — Google review
A very nice and well maintained playground. Excellent baseball field for little league. Not the biggest swing set, but it is still pretty nice. Very spacious and open field.
Alexander L — Google review
The Berkshire Heights Playground is a neighborhood park located in Wyomissing, Berks County Pennsylvania. The park is small but does have a lot to offer with two ball diamonds, a snack bar area, batting net/cage, and a play area for the children. The parking lot is unpaved and very crunchy so drive slow. No pool, soccer fields or walking track. Come and enjoy the day because it's springtime in Wyomissing.
Richard K — Google review
Very nice place to relax in the sun. Has two ball fields for you to get your game on. Has a small tot lot on top of the hill. Plenty of shopping near by
Charles P — Google review
No baby swings, missing and teeter totter has bees that stung one unlucky child, like 5 times

My son loves walk in this area it’s always clean
Robinson R — Google review
Nice resource for responsible Dog owners to enjoy. Series of long grassy/ sports fields along a mostly dry creek bed. Fido will want to walk the creek bed, get their paws wet and explore a bit. 6 foot leash rule, clean up and please try and be respectful of other users of this park. Saw the biggest Red Tail Hawk make lazy circles about 12 feet over head for a half hour or longer...great day!
James L — Google review
Perfect little hidden playground! I plan on taking my kids here more often. And it's quite and they have a potty for the kiddos when they need to go. A basketball court off to the side and the coolest play area for the kids.

Small community park run by the Muhlenberg Township Parks Department. Google wanted its website so I provided the park's web page which Google rejected. UPDATE 29 OCTOBER 2019: Stopped by today to take pictures of the brilliant red trees.
Richard K — Google review
Not much going on here. It's the closest park to my house and I still get in the car to drive to a different one For my three-year-old. There's no swings and part of the equipment is blocked off with wooden boards. It's a great place if you're just looking to sit under a pavilion but other than that the playground is pretty beat.

A little nice park. Have baseball field, basketball court, play area & an inside area with restrooms, a kitchen & a room to play bingo, reception, meetings, ect. Doors for indoors is usually closed & they could really use some make over throughout
Holly M — Google review
Came here for softball. Parks adjacent two ghetto streets with minimal parking. It looks like the kind of place you go to if you want to be shot at after dark. The older kids/adults come out to the ball court closer to sunset and yell profanities for everyone to hear. Won't be returning.
Adam ( — Google review
The park is in a weird location can't be seen from Bern st. Or center ave there is rarely any nets on the basketball hops the park is too isolated and the seats on the swings are so slick you can barely sit on them without slipping overall I only go there every once in a while
Jadien G — Google review
It's a playground like any other. Not much equipment though. Swings a couple of slides and a baseball field not that great kept. But it's a playground and the kids will make fun.

First time visit on Sunday 24 October 2021. Good-size park. Bring your dog and kids. There is a playground and a field for ball sports. Interesting bugs flying around and sticking to the building (see pictures) There is a creek and a small bridge across the street which is not part of the park complex but makes an interesting photo opportunity. Parking lot or you can park in the street. There is a pavilion for family picknicks or get-togethers.

Soccer fields are set up in a bad position where it can easily cause parents to buttheads. Usually a dumb parent yelling about a soccer ball sadly but berks has its fair share of duds haha
