Museums
The Groninger Museum in Groningen, Netherlands is a must-see destination for art enthusiasts. The museum's modern and contemporary art, fashion, design, and local history exhibitions are housed in a strikingly colorful building designed by renowned architect Alessandro Mendini. Opened in 1994, the museum's unique exterior on a small island surrounded by canals sets it apart. Inside, visitors can admire masterpieces from Dutch and international artists.
I really like this museum! It's beautiful and has a lot to offer. I also like that there's a café, a shop, and lockers. Now for the different things:It's really amazing how many different things are on display. It ranges from Chinese art, fashion, model making, old movies and Pictures, old finds/old art, various classical paintings and practical models such as those made of wool. When I was there there was also a Van Gogh exhibition. I think it's cool that it offers so much variety and shows different things at different times. Furthermore, one must add how unique and exciting everything is. The entire museum is also clean and tidy. Highly recommended!
Katharina — Google review
A very diverse and nice experience; the museum holds different themed exhibitions. Tween’s friendly with some interactive displays of art. I liked the children program where you can subscribe your child for being a member and even can have their reviews of the works displayed with I believe is a very smart move from the curators of the museum.
Ahmad — Google review
A truly world class museum within walking distance from the station. I was very fortunate to be able to see 5000 Years of Asian ceramic from the Anders collection. Highly recommended when you are in Groningen (which is of course a truly gorgeous city)
Dr S — Google review
This museum is very fun and sparks creativity! It is just big enough to feel like you've seen enough, but not too big that you get very tired before having seen the entire collection. The temporary Dream house exhibition was definitely the most fun part, but the permanent collections are also very inspired. Definitely worth the visit, especially with a student ticket (only 10 euros)
Felix E — Google review
One of the best museums in the Netherlands. Various art collections are outstanding, very well maintained museum. A must-visit experience in Groningen.
Cagatay ( — Google review
The new exhibition is very good, the collection of Frans.Haks. Finally got rid of the German curator who has been a headache for the past few years. I hope the new curator will arrange more good art exhibitions. Looking forward to it
Creator A — Google review
Decent with a museum pass, but not really worth the full price. Too much space is currently dedicated to children's art—it's even more niche than standard contemporary art. I did like that the old artworks are displayed in very modern interiors or alongside contemporary art—the contrast is stunning.
Olga D — Google review
Great exhibitions. Loved Joana Schneuder, Dream House and Dale Chihuly's stairwell installation. Also, excellent onion soup!

Garden
Nature & Parks
The Prinsentuin, also known as the Prince's Garden, is a historic Renaissance-style garden situated in Groningen, Netherlands. Dating back to the early 17th century and located behind the Prinsenhof, this meticulously maintained garden boasts elegant flowerbeds, carefully designed hedges, and a striking sundial. Visitors are captivated by its romantic rose garden and the serene ambiance created by lush greenery.
I enjoyed so much coming to this garden! It’s free, peaceful, a must see if you visit Groningen 💯 It has many seats around, perfect to read a good book. I imagine during summer it’s even more magical!
Matilde S — Google review
A hidden gem in Groningen, open free to public. Best to visit in the summer to enjoy the flower, rose blooms and green fence and berceaus. The sundial gate dates back to 1731. Around July there is Dichters in de Prinsentuin which is an annual poetry festival in the garden
Ho T — Google review
If you like gardens, this is beautiful one to visit in the city center. Best time would be spring as it would be more pleasant and green Be aware it is a small garden, you would need max of 30 min to explore it
Soumaya K — Google review
A place that deserves its name. Maybe the best touristic attraction in Groningen.
ENS Y — Google review
Pretty garden that is free to view and it’s in the city centre. It’s well sign posted so easy to find
Hannah M — Google review
worth a short visit it's small but interesting and there's plenty to see
Ronan — Google review
Beautiful garden to visit on a sunny day. Entrance is free!
M L — Google review
A beautiful landscape enclosed garden. It was nice. Total time here was just a few minutes though, as the garden is not too large. If you are short on time, you can feel ok about not making the visit (though it is close to other landmark sites). A nice respite, which I guess is its intent.

The University Museum in Groningen is a long-established institution with a strong focus on science and nature. It houses an extensive collection that brings together elements of nature, culture, and science. Visitors can explore medical specimens, anatomical models, psychological objects, and diverse exhibits ranging from flowers and seeds to the world's first electromagnetic car. The museum also offers interactive experiences for children, such as VR expeditions and craft activities.
Interesting museum. It has an small collection from all the sciences that are taught in the University. The building itself is an historic place: the old university library. You have information in Dutch and English. I think one hour is enough to see it all.
Virginia C — Google review
Interesting museum but quite small and empty than expected. Floor 0 for ticket booth, floor 1 for monthly exhibition, floor 2 for the actual museum theme - university of groningen. Student can get discount or even free entry. Our journey here is a useful way to cool down from the summer heat in groningen.
Adinda — Google review
Amazing effort.. but they keep changing the themes in particular intervals.. based on your luck you can find something more interesting...
Vijaykumar S — Google review
The museum is rather small (40min. visit was enough). It's a bit boring with small children. Not much interactive. For adults - educational. The museum is small, but a couple of things surprised everyone, for example, the anatomical theater "Enschede kamer".
Irina S — Google review
I love the birds! See my video: you can see the colour of the feathers change with lighting and your point. And the colours just WOW! amazed me.
Magdalena A — Google review
The entrance areas are somewhat artistic and related to modern art, while the top floor offers an incredible experience. It’s a unique experience, and definitely worth visiting for both the experience and the information you can gain.
Talu B — Google review
Very nice museum, with interesting exhibition. Just that exhibition is not in English, and the English guidebook always cannot match the orders of items there😹It could be more friendly! Also pay attention to the signs of bathrooms, I almost went wrong because of graffiti...
任思奇 — Google review
Pretty nice museum, i loved the 'Time will tell' exhibition a lot, there were some experiments around it in which we could participate and they were fun. It was cool to read about how our mind perceives time, and the experiments were a good way to learn more about my own time perception and reception. There were multiple collections, the one focused on Indonesia was very nice. Then they had a collection of stories in the science domain, of leading Dutch scientists and Nobel prize winners. It is a very nice place to visit for students in my opinion.

Nature & Parks
Noorderplantsoen Park is a must-see attraction in Groningen, offering splendid natural views and a serene atmosphere. This English-style park features charming canals, lush greenery, and serene ponds, providing a perfect setting for leisurely strolls or relaxation. It also serves as a lively venue for events like the Noorderzon Festival. The park offers facilities such as benches, seating areas, and a circular 1930 pavilion housing a cafe.
I love the nature, the fountains and the fact that there are many seating around the fountain and park itself. So too do I love the way the street lamps look like. All in all definitely an amazing place to spend some time
Gaboty G — Google review
My favorite park to walk/run, people watch and traverse to get to town. It's beautifully laid out but watch the cyclists and auto roads that cut through it. Very peaceful, especially early morning when most people aren't out yet.
Leslie V — Google review
Very beautiful, clam and cool park.
R K — Google review
A nice area to go for a walk and see many bird species. It is especially beautiful in the autumn
Michael D — Google review
a beautiful park with lakes and a fountain for walking and relaxing. There are recreation areas, you can drink coffee in the cafe.
Елена O — Google review
One of the first places that you must visit in GRONINGEN. Ideal choice for everyone want to enjoy nature , walks around the park with their dog , bike, have a coffee or even excersise . Very close to the city center with easy access with a car (there are free or paid parking sport at the sounding streets) or even better on a bike. Top!
Nikitas D — Google review
Walk or jog from pond to pond to explore the corners in the banks that tell the history. In the 17th century, this is where the city’s defensive walls and canals were dug. In the late 19th century, people found that the time had come for something new and an English landscape-style park was laid out on the former town ramparts. The canals were transformed into ponds. The Noorderplantsoen park developed from a sand ridge into a town rampart and distinguished garden to a venue for people of all ages to gather and enjoy art and culture. Whenever the weather allows, students spend their time lounging on the grass at the pond banks and young families enjoy the playground. There is also a café/restaurant that sells any refreshments you might need and in late August, the park always functions as the backdrop for Noorderzon, a grand festival with plenty of theatre, dance and musical performances. Though with current covid times, it is unsure if this festival will still be held

Museum
Storyworld is a new museum that offers an interactive and engaging experience for visitors interested in the creation of manga, animation, and video games. The displays are designed to provide insight into the development of these art forms, with a focus on storytelling. Visitors can explore hand-drawn sketches and drawings by artists, gaining a unique perspective on the creative process. While some may find the abundance of artwork overwhelming, the interactive installations and games are highlighted as innovative and enjoyable.
It was a really fun place to spend my weekend! As someone who grew up with reading lots of comics, this museum made me feeling kinda nostalgic. There were a lot of interactive things we can do—like turning yourself into a cartoon, seeing how a character drawn with a different style, drawing a character, and so on.
Angelica A — Google review
A wonderful museum that introduces you to the history of computer games, graphics, and stages of development. This helps our children to be creative without limits. I am very happy with this. Also, the employee in the morning was very friendly.
Anasnet360 — Google review

This museum is a gem and must-visit place. Explains a lot about the history of various comics, games and designs.
Cagatay ( — Google review
Museum on comic art with a nice overview of different comic styles Currently (from March 2024) a special on 50 years of Franka. Museum located in the new Forum building in Groningen city centre on the sixth floor and can be reached by elevator on the east side of the building or by multiple escalators.
JP — Google review
The museum is new. Everything is still in its best condition. Most of the displays are interactive, which is a good idea, so visitors can understand how manga/animation/video games are created; and of course the kids absolutely love it! The staff at the reception are also very friendly. When we were 15 minutes late, they still accepted us. Our fault. It turns out that we were the only visitors at that time. So it feels like the entire exhibition belongs to us.
Ria — Google review
Museum about storytelling in animation, strips and games, and how they are made, with some interactive installations. Not super serious and in-depth, but rather a short sight into the development of these art forms. The most interesting part, in my opinion, is the chance to see some of the hand drawn sketches and drawings of the artists on display, which you can otherwise only see digitally or printed in books. Especially the temporary exposition of Loish was worth it for me and that's also why I came to Groningen.
Bavo D — Google review
Great to learn something about storytelling and the development until digital art. A little bit too much text for smaller kids but they have more than enough buttons to press and keep busy while the adults browse. Small downside is that it is that the "attractions" are rather busy if there are too many people and it's hard to enjoy the full experience then.

I used to visit Forum Groningen twice a week when I was an Erasmus student at the University of Groningen. This place is absolutely dope! There’s always something going on—events, activities, or just a great vibe. It’s also a perfect spot to study or chill with friends. Easily one of the most modern and lively buildings in the city. I have so many good memories here!
Ceren B — Google review
You can study here, and at the top floor, there’s a restaurant and café. The library is beautiful and affordable. The exhibition area is very classy and well designed, and I recommend it. The workshops on the middle floors are also very thoughtfully arranged.

Architectural Buildings
Martinitoren, also known as Martini Tower, is a Gothic church with a Baroque organ and a towering structure that offers panoramic views of Groningen. Named after the city's patron saint, St. Martin, this historical tower has stood for over five centuries. Referred to as "d'Olle Grieze" by locals due to its weather-beaten sandstone color, it stands at an impressive 97 meters high.
Interesting architecture, excellent view, nice souvenir shop, clean, it's interesting that you are able to do your own 3D print on one of the floors and able to take it with you after you are done, while they guide you and teach you about the procedure, with a small fee. Didn't try it because I was short on time, but I talked with a very polite young guy with excellent use of English, who explained everything, and I also watched as some models were being printed. Definitely recommend trying out
Alex — Google review
Brilliant views at the top, staircase is very narrow so try to avoid having a backpack. Might also be worth bringing earplugs unless you want to get deafened by the bell when it's rung every 30 (?) minutes
Max P — Google review
Really cool place, the stairwell is really narrow and the stairs are pretty small but that’s not a problem. Great view and also has a nice video playing in one room talking about the history of the building and area.
Shadow M — Google review
What a nice experience to enter this tower. The guide was very passionate to tell the history of the tower. Very well done! The stairs are quite small so make sure to not bring a lot of stuff when you want to go to the top. You can also leave it in the first stop. On the top, it is very windy but the view is breathtaking. We love it!
MaJuRo R — Google review
A very beautiful building. Sadly came before opening so couldn’t go inside. Would have loved to climb the tower. A impressive building
Hannah M — Google review
Amazing ancient tower! You should definitely visit it. From the inside you can see all the bells and old beams. There's a beautiful view over the city of Groningen from the top of the tower. You can visit it only with a tour guide who is included in the ticket price.

Tremendous view from the top... Be ready to take the narrow stairs...!!! Better to go little early I'm the morning so that you can go up easily or else you should wait and help the people to celebrate down or leave space to go up...!!!! The bell sound is very special and don't miss it..!! Better to carry a water bottle.... You can see entire Groningen... Just amazing views to capture from eyes (of course from camera as well!!!)

The food was good, and the service was warm and welcoming. I particularly loved the unique ambiance they've created with the building, blending modern decor with a vibrant, artistic vibe. The outdoor space is perfect for families, offering plenty of room for kids to play and watch local graffiti artists in action. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal and soak in some creativity!

Nice alfresco dining area, especially during the day with good weather. We ordered pizza and beer. My partner had the tonno pizza, which tasted great. I ordered the Mungibeddu because I was looking forward to the nduja, but I couldn’t find any…I think the chef may have forgotten to add it. 😅
Molly T — Google review
Great food, friendly servers and just an overall chill place for food. I often come here for lunch and to work during the day. The terrace is great and away from the main road and inside the decor is super chill and vintage. I recommend the Lebanese bread. It's my all time favorite because it's a flavour explosion 💥

We went there for lunch, the weather was ok and the terrasse is quiet not close to a street. I tested the Lebanese dish very tasty. The pizza are big if you are 2 little eaters you can share one.

My colleagues and I went for a meal during peak lunch hours and had a wonderful experience! The service was somewhat slow due to how busy it was but finding a table was easy. The menu offers interesting and diverse options. I ordered the Lebanese bread and the ratio of seasoned veggies, hummus and bread was great! Overall a lovely lunch spot that's extremely close to the university buildings.
Iva Z — Google review
All in all a lovely restaurant! It's a big positive that the restaurant is away from the streetside, as it feels like there's a relaxed atmosphere thank to no traffic passing by which is something you do have in quite a few restaurants in Groningen. There are some excellent vegan choices available on the menu, and the food is presented very nicely and tastes just as good as it looks. The staff is friendly and keeps the place well organised, and keep it nice and tidy. Some minor negatives were that the cutlery could have been cleaner, and that the order of ingredients on the menu does not represent the proportions you end up receiving. For example for the Lebanese Bread it mentions as one of the first things the cherry tomatoes, but only has two of them on it that are cut in half. It's a minor critique but it is something that could be improved in order to further enhance the experience. Overall I had a lovely time and will definitely come back again! Would definitely recommend the Lebanese Bread, and the Sweet Potato Chips with Parmesan Cheese.

The Noordelijk Scheepvaartmuseum, located in Groningen, Netherlands, is a captivating maritime museum that delves into the rich history of shipbuilding and shipping in the northern region. Housed in two historic buildings, visitors can embark on an engaging journey through 18 rooms filled with exhibits such as intricately carved replicas of historical landmarks and detailed models showcasing local shipyards' operations over the centuries.
One of the most beautiful buildings in Groningen. This is by far my favourite museum. Today I got to share this experience with my son and wife. Little narrow staircases, low ceiling, and all the characteristics what history could give you as well as the great service of the people that work there. A great representation of the Dutch and Groninger naval history.
Lucas K — Google review
The museum is not worth visiting. The ticket cost 8 euro which is very high compare to their very few exhibits. Northern Maritime Museum doesn't have any maritime experience. Outside they kept one ship which you can see before entering into the museum.Groningen has many more attractions to see except the museum. Not recommended for the foreign tourist. The lady staff was nice.

Having been to the Amsterdam scheepvaart museum this one is a bit disappointing. The staff was really friendly and the location is really nice. The building is a historic building with authentic beams. Mind your head! However if you are here in Groningen it is worth the visit!

My boyfriend and I visited the museum, but it was a pity that we could only see part of it, since half of the museum is under repairs to modify it. But to make up for it the staff were excellent, very communicative, friendly, they offered tea and chatted with us and told us the history of the museum and gave advice on what to visit in Groningen. They made us feel very comfortable and we visited what we could and liked.

Haren Hortus Botanicus is a historic and expansive botanical garden located near Groningen, Netherlands. Established in 1626, it covers 20 hectares and features various themed areas, including a unique Chinese Ming garden that is unparalleled in Europe. Visitors can explore the serene natural park just outside the bustling city center and immerse themselves in the tranquility of its surroundings.
It’s hard to believe such a stunning and authentic Chinese garden exists in the Netherlands. Every detail was thoughtfully crafted—the traditional architecture, serene ponds, graceful willows, vibrant koi, blooming flowers, and even the tiled walls and pathways were all perfect. It truly felt like a peaceful escape to another world.

We visited here in mid April and were expecting to see more flowers in bloom. The Chinese garden was tranquil and well groomed but the rest of the gardens looked a bit dry and devoid of any colour. We were hoping for more spring plants and colour. Overall though it’s a lovely place to spend a few hours and have a drink in the Restuarant by the lake.

Wall House #2, also known as the Bye House, is a striking post-modernist structure designed by American architect John Quentin Hejduk. It is managed by the Groninger Museum and stands out as an iconic architectural gem. The building was conceptualized in the 1970s as a deconstruction and constructed without practical compromises thirty years later. Its design expresses pure forms of concepts like 'wall', 'room', and 'entrance'.
İnteresting for those who are interested by architecture and philosophy.

I had nit planned to visit, I was cycling and I was ready for a coffee. The coffee was good, the cake was good, the prices seemed okay too, €7.50 for coffee and cake. The vendor did not speak English, but we managed to get by 🙂
Andrew M — Google review
The hall itself is large and spacious, with good size stage and lots of room in the pit. Backstage there are enough rooms to accommodate a pretty large company, which was nice. Ours offered a ballet performance of Swan lake. The audience was unresponsive and didn’t seem quite educated what’s proper behavior when in a concert hall. They didn’t know when to clap (or not) and how/when to show their appreciation. The performance was very good. Yet, audience’s behavior was quite cold and awkward. It seems to me as the venue doesn’t offer too many classical shows for people.

Stadspark in Groningen is a sprawling urban oasis perfect for families and nature lovers alike. Located in the southwest of the city, it offers ample free parking for those driving, while a leisurely thirty-minute walk from the city center leads you to its serene landscapes. Unlike smaller parks like Noorderplantsoen, Stadspark provides plenty of space to unwind without feeling crowded.
So much less busy than noorderplantsoen and much more nature. Such a nice place to chill in a hammock, meet friends for a picnic, and pet goats! There is a petting zoo, a children's play area, and lots of open green space.

Terrific area, lots of routes to walk around, and gets well into the area of forestry. I've been there many times and honestly you can take many different routes. It's vast, quiet and peaceful.

A very cozy park! Lots of greenery, well-maintained walking paths, and a lake with ducks — especially beautiful to watch them in the quiet. The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for a walk alone or with family. A great place to take a break from the city hustle and enjoy nature.
Anna L — Google review
I got lost here about twice when I first got to know the park. There's definitely something to say for that, as you don't often find parks that large in cities in the Netherlands! Unlike the small and overrated Noorderplantsoen, where it feels like you're almost sitting in each other's lap when it's crowded, it's relatively easy to find a quiet spot on a sunny day to hang out. I sometimes go here when I'm running and even in summer, I often find myself being completely alone with what we call "nature" as Dutch people. However, it's never too lonely. I still feel safe - no corner is left unseen by the many dog owners walking their dog. The variety of flora is also great. In autumn I had the chance to snack some sweet chestnuts, from the three trees, that have a fair produce for their size. There are all kinds of different flowers, trees, fungi and moss... Lots of moss! I love this park!!!

The venue has seating areas where visitors can relax, enjoy food and drinks from a bistro-style menu, and watch others jump. Additionally, special reusable socks are required for entry and are available for purchase on-site. Overall, it's a fantastic place that kids would absolutely love!
Excellent trampoline sport for kids and adults. Also stunt jumping facilities. You can have jumping lessons there as an option. It's a decent trampoline park. I've been there twice and there's barely anyone there (which, as a gymnast, is good, because it's never fun to have a bunch of kids running under you). Especially recommend going on a weekday after 6pm. Perfectly empty. It's really dark, maybe a bit cold, but they play good music and the staff is really nice. They also do a student discount :) can recommend

Liked my stay here. Entrance price is discussable, should be a bit longer than just an hour. The trampolines are setup nice but they are not really good, they are way to soft to do some good high jumps but for most children this won't be a problem.

Great for the kids. Large open spaces and playground jungles. Play areas are relatively clean and well maintained, nothing seems broken or out of order. Nice slides, big building blocks, ball pits, etc. There is also a restaurant with plenty of food options and reasonable prices, and friendly staff
Schalk B — Google review
Deeply Disappointed by the Handling of a Serious Incident We have been loyal customers of Monkey Town for years, but after today, we will never return. My daughter was bullied and subjected to racial discrimination while playing near the big slide. She was pushed to the ground, pinned down, and later elbowed in the back, causing her to hit her head. While crying, she overheard one of the girls say they targeted her “because she is Chinese”. After hearing this from our daughter, we approached the girl involved to ask what had happened. However, our daughter, still shaken, ran away, and the girl took the opportunity to do the same. As my husband turned to call our daughter back, the girl ran further, actively avoiding us. At this moment, my husband made a silly mistake, he also called the girl to come back and talked to her in English that she shouldn't run away from the conversation. Then, another woman suddenly stepped in and, rather than helping to clarify the situation, immediately confronted my husband, accusing him of shouting at a child. She then took hold of the girl, asked her what had happened, and, without hesitation, turned to us and stated that the girl “only bumped into” our daughter and said nothing more. Without considering our daughter's injuries or her side of the story, she dismissed the entire situation as if nothing had happened. The mother of the girl later arrived, but she refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing and made it clear that there would be no apology. We turned to Monkey Town staff for support, and after several requests, they agreed to approach the girl's mother to communicate our concerns. We appreciate the staff member’s effort in doing so, but the response we received remained unchanged—the mother still refused to let her child apologize or acknowledge what had happened. The staff then told us that they could not force anyone to do something they did not want to do, which we totally understand. When we asked what else could be done, we were simply told that if we wanted to call the police, we should do so outside, but the police would not take our case seriously. "They will not come at all". The way this was said, along with the staff’s overall tone and expressions, left us with the feeling that we were being treated as if we were making an unreasonable fuss. It was subtle, but nonetheless disheartening. We will not be returning to Monkey Town, despite being loyal customers for years. In the past, when my daughter got hurt while playing here, we laughed it off, thinking it was just part of childhood. But this time, it was different. This time, she wasn’t just physically hurt—she was singled out, bullied, and told it was because of who she is. And that pain goes far beyond a playground injury. As parents, nothing hurts more than seeing your child in tears, not just from being pushed down but from realizing that some see her as “less than” simply because of where she comes from. It is a pain that lingers, not just for her but for us as a family. Because deep down, we know that this will not be the last time. We know that, no matter how much we try to shield her, my daughter—and many children like her—will face moments where they are made to feel like outsiders in a place they call home. What are we supposed to do? Do we just tell our children to accept it? Do we pretend it doesn’t hurt? Or should we, as some have said, simply “go back to where we came from”? Is this what our future holds? We don’t have easy answers, but what we do know is that every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and included—on the playground, in school, and in society. That should not be too much to ask. And my husband, of course, should learn the lesson, to hold his bad temper—to be patient, strategic, soft-spoken, and endlessly accommodating. After all, in many eyes, he will always be the aggressor, no matter the situation. Maybe next time, he should just apologize for existing, just to keep things peaceful.
Cathy F — Google review

Nice place, looking good and clean! However, the same issue as with most these businesses, offering a visual variety of chemical/sugary stuff with pretty much nothing healthy in the sight of a kid is just irresponsible these days - in times whew it’s clear that all these things cause so many diseases those should be banned in such quantities.

Great place for kids. Not too expensive. You only pay for the entrance of kids. You can host a party. They have free wifi, a well assorted snack bar. Love it, but... Please. Get robot cleaners. Second. On warm days. Get more security staff. When people smoke (even cannabis) in children areas, they keep getting warned to no effect. When people consume (strong) alcohol, they're told to stop continuously. Or misbehave in any way. Ruins the atmosphere. I left early for the first time in 10 years. The municipality does nothing about the unsafe situations the traffic causes. Even parking on cemetary parking spots or inside a bloody bike tunnel. I felt unsafe from men disrespecting women, so much so they don't grant women space to pass them, or just dive wherever women are swimming, which really hurt.

It's a really nice outdoor pool in Groningen and I think also the only one. They have a large area to sit at, but I do recommend bringing a blanket as it's just on the grass. You can also sit at the stands and there are some chairs but it might be occupied. The various diving boards are really nice if you are with people who want to jump of different heights, or if you want to jump together. The slide is a bit underwhelming and got a lot of sudden turns which isn't that pleasant but at least there's a slide. The food is rather expensive though, but for food at a pool it's a regular price.

Very nice big pool the water was a refreshing cold compared to the warm heat of the day there are plenty of activities a water slide and a small floatable waterpark for young children it was easy to find has only a few spots to park so would recommend to travel a different way expect it to be crowded on sunny days even though I don't speak Dutch I still could get in and this didn't cause any problems the changing rooms are nice and clean with plenty of stalls but make sure to BRING 50C for lockers but this is not essential if you don't have any valuables plenty of sitting and areas for sunbathing

The University of Groningen, located in the Netherlands, is a prestigious institution with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. Its campus features historic buildings, including the ornate Academia building, and welcomes around 25,000 students across various disciplines. Joining a guided tour offers insight into the university's impact on the city and its old-world charm.
I studied abroad (BSc International Business and Honours Programme) as a Spanish citizen for three years. The FEB faculty staff was always very helpful, and local students were very welcoming. The university grants foreign students a lot of activities to have unique experiences and helps them connect with companies.

The University of Groningen is a solid choice for anyone looking for quality education. The lecturers are absolute professionals...they really know their stuff and are super passionate about their fields, which makes classes engaging and challenging in the best way. The teaching quality overall is fantastic, and you definitely feel like you’re learning from the best. The main campus in the city center is beautiful, with its historic buildings and a great academic vibe. However, the Zernike complex is a bit of a letdown. It’s far less charming, very modern, but kind of dull and industrial...not the most inspiring place to study.... One major downside is the food. The food courts on campus are overpriced, and the quality is pretty disappointing for the price you’re paying. It’s definitely better to bring your own lunch or grab something off-campus. But I wish it wasn't this way because I'd love to meet more classmates through lunch!!! Overall, it’s a great university with top-tier teaching and a strong reputation. There’s room for improvement in the facilities and services, but it’s definitely worth it for the education you’ll get.

The Software Engineering course at the University of Groningen is, honestly, a mess. It’s poorly structured, communication lacking, our TA didn't have a clue what was going on. What’s most frustrating is that there doesn’t seem to be any place where concerns are truly taken seriously. I’ve often felt unheard as a student, which is why I’m posting here. That said, I want to be fair: the university itself is great!! Other courses in my program are fantastic! But this particular course needs serious attention and improvement.

If foreigners leave the Dutch construction sector en masse, the country will face a serious construction crisis: rising costs, delays, and a slowdown in project completion. The only natural consequence would be pressure to raise wages and improve working conditions, which could strengthen the sector in the long term, but in the short term, it will cause chaos.

Prices are also on the higher side, so it would be even better if the dishes were slightly smaller and more affordable. Overall, worth a visit if you’re a pancake lover, but keep in mind the portions and price.
Fassa A — Google review
We came here for brunch for the second time as a family, and once again, it was a lovely experience. The atmosphere is cozy and unique, definitely stands out from other places in town! The pancakes are massive and packed with flavor. I’m confident that anything you pick from the menu will be good (depending on your tastes). That said, my salty pancake with bacon and cheese was a bit underwhelming. It felt too dry, and the bacon was a bit overcooked. I added some maple syrup, which helped, but I think a dedicated sauce would really elevate this dish and bring out its full potential. I would also suggest to add a salty/sweet tag next to each pancake dish on the menu, might make it easier to understand which is which when choosing :) Aside from that, everything else was excellent and we will definitely be back!
Laura R — Google review
The texture was nice albeit bland and dry. And there weren't nearly enough toppings for the amount of pancakes. Having maple syrup at the table really saved the meal, pretty poor coffee.

Wow what an amazing place to have breakfast. The pancakes were delicious and filling. Great way to start the day.

We came for anday trip from germany and are sensitive to gluten. We are very grateful to find this cozy place, with very sweet staff, easy to order menu, and super fluffy pancakes. We ordered glutenfree cinnamon roll one and both the kids and adults loved it. It's not not easy to find fluffy gluten-free pancakes so we decide that we will be back to Groningen just have them 🤤 Its also super well located, just next to the martini tower and the museum.

the location is great, right in the center. I went there with my parents but it was quite crowded although luckily we found a seat so I guess a reservation would be recommended. the staff were nice and can also speak perfect English so that's super convenient for tourists. I ordered pancakes and my parents ordered toasts or something of the sort. the pancakes are really good especially the highlighted ones I recommend the maple syrup one it was delicious. although other than the pancakes the food was not quite good, except desert that was amazing!

Wereldburgers in Groningen is a popular dining spot covering 17,000 m2 on ten floors. It's open seven days a week and offers delicious food with friendly staff. The restaurant is known for accommodating special dietary needs, including gluten-free and vegan options. Customers praise the tasty vegetarian burgers and the variety of vegan ice cream and cake available. With positive reviews highlighting its great food and accommodating service, Wereldburgers is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Really 🔝 experience. I got a take-away burger (walk-in) and the service was quick and attentive. I asked for a gluten-free option (for an intolerance) and they clearly paid so much attention to my request that everything came marked GF - even the mayo. I had to ask for the Brander mayo because - though avoiding gluten - I still wanted the taste! The burger (Sloppy Jack) was great, the G-F bum was really impressive, the salad ingredients were fresh and crunchy, the fries were more like potato wedges, cooked to perfection. 💯 And it was all handed to me in a bag by the chef himself with a big smile. 😁
Stella L — Google review
Nice chill restaurant with great burgers. Burgers were a bit small but we’re still filling. Have to order fries separately which isn’t ideal but wasn’t too much more. Would recommend!
Eric P — Google review
The burger was truly delicious. Having a high chair available made things much easier for us. The staff were friendly and attentive. The homemade fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We’d definitely come back again. 🍔✨

I rarely write a review but this place deserves it. The service was super polite, fast and understanding. The food was amazing, I really recommend asking for the homemade fries it really worth it. The place was quiet and not very crowded, perhaps because the hours when I ate were a bit atypical.
Ryūshin R — Google review
We tried the Vegetarian burgers, Maxima and Blackbeans. We loved them. The burger buns were absolutely soft and fresh. They did not turn chewy towards the end, which happens to a lot of buns. The homemade fries really seemed homemade. We would definitely like to visit again to try other options. Worth a visit while in Groningen.

Best burger spot in Groningen!! The ingredients are fresh and they’ve also got a great selection of vegan/vegetarian burgers! Loved their brownie as well.
Ruhin S — Google review
Dining at Wereldburgers is an experience that transcends the idea of a casual burger restaurant. On my first visit with friends I ordered the homemade fries with truffle mayonnaise, expecting a pleasant side dish, but what I encountered was extraordinary. Each fry was golden and crisp on the outside, tender within, and the truffle mayonnaise was so irresistible that I momentarily forgot all sense of restraint and simply surrendered to the flavor. These may well be the best fries in Groningen. The atmosphere is authentic and vibrant, the staff are warm and attentive, and the service feels personal rather than transactional. The menu offers some of the best burgers in Groningen with global inspiration, from classic flavors to creative combinations, each prepared with passion and care. Wereldburgers is not simply a place to eat, it is a destination where unforgettable flavors, genuine hospitality, and an authentic atmosphere come together in perfect harmony.

Restaurant
If you're on the lookout for a family-friendly dining experience in Groningen, look no further than Cantina Mexicana. Nestled in the heart of the city, this vibrant restaurant offers a delightful array of authentic Mexican dishes that are sure to please both adults and children alike. With mouthwatering nachos, tasty tapas, and delicious tortillas on the menu, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
We shared a Plato Mixto with an extra side dish rice. I really liked the meat, very well made. Especially the ribs were good! The meat fell of the bones really easy! It is a but on the expensive side for students but I still highly recommend it! Great staff with great service! And nice seating areas!
Chell M — Google review
Food was pretty good, but pricey. Atmosphere was pretty nice. My Mexican friend looked at the menu and said that the dishes were not authentic. Also seemed very surprised that for certain things you need to pay extra while they should be part of the dish. I'm no expert, it seemed ok, but I expected more for this price.
Enisa S — Google review
The atmosphere was amazing, but after a long wait we got our food which was very bland and lacking texture. No salsa on the tacos and basically unseasoned chicken. Very disappointing. I went there with four other students and we wanted to split the bill, but they wouldn’t let us pay for what we had so we had to split evenly! I couldn’t believe it.
Per S — Google review
Abhorrent. This was the worst food I have had the displeasure of eating in Groningen. The 'guacamole' didn't seem to have any avocado in it and the nachos were sweet and soft. No spice or flavour was present. Horrific stuff. I would suggest this place is avoided. It also took ages to be seated and served (despite not being busy) and I received the incorrect items.
Hen P — Google review
Nice laid back feeling and Mexican decoration inside. On this lazy Sunday, off-duty staff was chilling outside where there was also a pleasant atmosphere. The roof terrace was closed for lack of customers so we sat outside in front of the restaurant where you have a nice view of the central market of Groningen. Staff was very friendly and attentive enough. Starters arrived quickly. Food tasted great, albeit a little heavy on the cheese. Loved the guacamole and homemade chocolate cake. There's a variety of vegetarian options. Prices are a little high, especially the alcoholic drinks but it's a central location.
M. B — Google review
If you want some great Mexican food and an amazing atmosphere for not a lot of money, Cantina Mexicana is the place to go! On the outside it stands out thanks to the neon sign and the cool paint job. Inside, the interior creates an incredible atmosphere. Service is fast and everyone is polite and nice, and the food is great! Definitely try the enchiladas and the cheesecake. All in all, definitely recommended.
Emilio D — Google review
They took more than an hour to bring us our food, waiters were kind and the restaurant looked good but the food was very very tasteless and actually made one of us feel ill afterwards. Tacos were broken and wet. Clearly not true mexican food at all and excessively expensive. Just completely tasteless.
Daniela G — Google review
I would recommend the white sangria if you like it sweet it’s delicious and value for your money, the margarita was okay but would order it again. We only had one tapa which was the chorizo croquettes and it was horrible. I see what people mean that the food is horrible! I would not order a full meal and i find that their food is overpriced

Excellent all-inclusive restaurant! A wide variety of dishes, with an impressive selection of fresh seafood. The interior is beautiful and modern, with tables both indoors and outdoors. We celebrated a corporate event here — everyone was very pleased with both the service and the atmosphere. Definitely coming back again!

My only reaction looking at their buffet spread was OMG! How can they have so so many dishes couldn’t even try all of them. Wide variety of options from pizza, tacos, curries, fried rice/noodles,dutch snacks, live grill, sushi, wok etc etc. The best part was however the live wow and live grill amazing fresh meat or seafood. Few staff members mostly the chefs at live counter may have difficulty understanding English. From price point of view it’s very economical. Ambiance is also amazing.

While the food is delicious if you're there for the first time it is quite confusing as you don't get an explanation how things work and where what is so you have to figure it out yourself, further i have one small complaint about the chef as one of the meats i got was barely rare and almost still raw but other then that the rest of the food was pretty good

If you ever wanted to go have brunch in Groningen, here’s your place. Colourful location, suitable for your IG stories. If you don’t wanna risk not finding a spot, don’t worry, you can give them a call and reserve a table. The menu is broad both in beverages (juices, smoothies, normal cafeteria options) and food (cakes, bowls, pancakes, and savoury choices like scrambled eggs). Ordered a normal cappuccino, oat one, and two banana pancakes. Beyond fluffy. Made from banana dough. Generous in quantity and sublime in taste. 4 euros for a cappuccino and 10.50 for pancakes. The only flaw I must bring to your attention is the long wait. 30 minutes is way too much. But it’s possible this was just a stumble along the way. Overall, great food and nice atmosphere!

A cute and cozy place with nice healthy options. The sweets aren’t too sweet, thankfully, and they are one of the rare places which serves coconut milk options. Highly recommend the Carrot Cake, it was a 5 ⭐️, it is one of the reasons I go here often!

Really nice place for people with healthy lifestyles, especially vegans. From what I saw, there are diverse diet-balanced bowls. For now, I only tried Bali breakfast, honestly, it was too simple. I liked only eggs and truffle mushrooms, but other included ingredients were not that satisfying. It’s good you can have breakfast, orange juice and coffee included under one price, but the breakfast itself wasn’t fulfilling. The atmosphere was good, the interior reminds of nature, friendly staff. Overall, good place to distract yourself from the city vibes. I would recommend to try bowls or something else, but the Bali breakfast 🙂

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! Went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. She reserved a table before and left a message about both of us being vegans and excited to come and try the food. The service was incredible and both the waitress and the cook weren’t just interested but enthusiastic about the feedback. The food is stunning and if I had to recommend just one I wouldn’t be able to chose between the “chicken” wrap and the chocolate mousse. Definitely go and check this place out if you are looking for good soul food that isn’t just ethically responsible but flavourful!

We were here today on the King’s day, so the city was crowded, and could only find a table at Flinders. We liked the food we ordered next to the beer. They have an offer for a 15 💶 you can choose 3 appetizer plates, that was nice! For foccacia plate, the hummus needs more tahini, and instead of yogurty dip something else like tomato paste etc can go better. Bitterballen and the mustard dip was really good. And tropical Bax Bier l liked!

Great and super friendly service. The food was very delicious. We ordered toasts with goat cheese, pancakes, beer, and ham&cheese toasts. Even that simple food was beautiful served. The Toast isn't dry , just as it should be. Pancakes were fluffy and bouncy. Interior design is really cool ! We actually chose this place because it was said they serve oysters, but they don't. However we have a good time there. So definitely suggesting that place :)

Their menu is varied and there are also quite a few healthy options if you want to go for that. Amazing place for both lunch and dinner or if you just want a drink or a snack. Tips: their club sandwich, pita with pulled chicken and the goat cheese salad. For dinner you can't go wrong with the spare ribs or their chicken avocado taco's. Try this place!

This is my favourite study and hangout spot in Groningen!! The staff is super friendly (and cute), they are extremely dog friendly - my dogs actually see this as a second home. If you want to grab a drink in the evening, need a thing to eat during the day, need to study or chill - this is the right place. My recommendations: espresso tonic or sir Edmond gin with clementine tonic, fries with sriracha mayo, whiskey sour (if it’s on the menu - they change it up), or any of the draft beers. If you want something special ask for the secret stash.

Had a social dinner with my summer school group here. Their mojito was refreshing and well put together. The flatbread pizza was enjoyable to eat, very light and crispy with great flavors. The tortilla dish with pieces of beef, carrot, chilly and corriander tasted lovely together. The dessert apple terrine with kulfi was such an indulgence. I find the cold noodle with watermelon quite bizarre but it somehow made sense a little. The table with square holes was not very functional but we worked it out. We had a blast.

An all-day spot with a very large variety of beers and a good selection of wines by the glass. Unfortunately, the menu is only in Dutch, which makes it a bit tricky for visitors. The interior is really interesting and creatively decorated, and what makes it stand out is that you can even play games inside, adding to the cozy and fun atmosphere. A nice place to relax and enjoy a drink.

I am not a bad review type of person. However, the foods here entirely lacked elevation, taste, and quality. The meat platter was actually just fat and not meat! This was one of the worst food experiences I had in a long time. In every bite of the food you were just chewing on big pieces of fat ... The nachos were so dry and just had some chips and veggies with no sauce and the fries were burnt at the bottom of the dish. The only good thing within our order was the bottled drinks! Really disappointed.

Great location to sit outside in Summer and enjoy a local beer! There were lots of vegan options. I had the Bibimbap, which was amazing 😍

We sat on the terrace as we found the inside quite dark and not so cosy. However on the terrace people were smoking. Pity that it's not a smoke free zone. The brunch was good, a nice variety of food, with tasty vegan options. We took the hot chocolate with orange and "rosemary". It is served in a very small glass and the rosemary is just a twig as decoration, it's not actually an ingredient in the chocolate.. Confusing! And overpriced for what it actually is..

(Translated by Google) A super cozy spot with great music and a real beach vibe — right in the heart of the city! The service was excellent, and the cocktail menu deserves a compliment. The menu is nicely varied, though the execution could use some improvement here and there. For example, our pita was more like a quarter pita, and the satay was missing its gado-gado companion. The Peking duck pancakes stuck to the rice paper as if they wouldn't let go. All in all, a pleasant experience, but the food could be a bit more crispy, and definitely not chewy.

Despite occasional busyness during peak hours, many visitors consider it one of the best gym options available.
Been here once when visited Groningen. Probably one of my favourite gyms in the Netherlands. Very spacious, equipped with everything that you need, spotlessly clean and lots of natural light. The architecture and design inside is very nice. Well done 👏

It seems like the TrainMore in Groningen was the only one left behind. I see many of my friends posting about their TrainMore gyms in Amsterdam, and they look amazing, modern, well-maintained, and renovated. But the Groningen location is in terrible shape. It’s rundown, falling apart, and clearly neglected. No one seems to care. If they’re not going to invest in upgrading the gym, I think it’s only fair for them to lower the price. After all, we’re not training in a high-quality gym like the ones in Amsterdam.
Juh — Google review
A fine gym. Day pass is a very easy to acquire and the introduction is clear and concise. Lockers and showers are well-kept and so are the machines around the gym. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly too.
Rares N — Google review
I’ve been going to this gym for a few now and I’m really impressed with the experience. The equipment is modern, clean, and well-maintained. And of course the staff!
Laidy B — Google review
I've had a very positive experience in the gym so far. I am fairly new to fitness and started working out in this gym about a week ago. During the free trial, the staff was very welcoming and supportive - they've shown me around, answered my questions and even helped me with some machines and exercises when I felt stuck. I've had a great first experience, so I decided to subscribe. Other members have been kind and approachable so I feel comfortable working out here. The gym has two floors and there's a great variety of machines and equipment, and it's easy to find a time that works for you since the opening times are quite long. The restrooms are clean and there is sufficient locker space (in the female restrooms at least). The only minor downsides are that it gets quite busy in the early evening (~5 to 8 p.m.) and if you don't plan on going regularly there are cheaper options in Groningen. Overall I would recommend this gym!
Sanne W — Google review
It’s a lovely gym. Clean, spacious and the people that work here are always helpful. I would really recommend training here, its a vibe!

Het Groninger Forum is located in the old 'Camera-cinema' on Hereplein 73 where you can go to watch films, events, festivals, talkshows, and debates. A nice building with a comfortable atmosphere. Location is brilliant, public transport options good, choice of films good. It's very large though and doesn't have the athmosphere that the old cinema used to have.
Ankie P — Google review
Very nice place, good selection of movies. Comfortable sitting, good image and sound quality
Aitana A — Google review
My new favourite cinema in Groningen. There's barely any people, great movies, decent seats and affordable-ish pricing. They've got a student .discount as well! I think that ticks all the boxes? No 4D IMAX Dolby sound 8.0, bells an whistles tech. Just plain old good quality ambiance in a clean setting. Toilets, they've got them. Even a little café area for you to wait for your date while reading a book. One drawback is that whenever I go to watch a movie there, I always come out wanting to see another one.
Luis B — Google review
The fact that they play International films ONLY with Dutch subs is disappointing. I could not watch Cold War or Everybody Knows for this deficit. My point is Groningen, full of International students, is the biggest city in a large area, northern Netherlands, and yet we cannot enjoy watching some good films. It's a pity.

Bookshop Riemer is a beloved spot in Groningen, offering a peaceful environment and delicious coffee. It's not just a bookstore but also features an impressive collection of games, puzzles, and gifts. The beautiful ambiance with cozy corners to sit and enjoy coffee makes it an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While it may have started as a small bookshop, it has now transformed into a book oasis with an inviting atmosphere for both adults and children.
Excellent coffee and cake, with some very lovely staff. Asked if they could cut two cake slices in half for me and a friend so that we could share, and they were happy to oblige. Can definitely recommend the cheese cake and carrot cake!

A charming bookshop with an extensive collection on display and availability to order most books too. What I like a lot about this place is that it also has a café, with seating throughout the store. Great for a coffee and pastry while at it. Very recommendable!

Ballorig Groningen is a fantastic indoor playground designed for children up to twelve years old, making it an ideal spot for family fun in the city. The facility has recently been refurbished, offering even more games and activities to keep little ones entertained. One of the highlights is that parents can park for free right outside the entrance.

Kids love both Ballorig and Monkey Town. Ballorig is slightly smaller than Monkey Town and there for 3 stars. But still a fine place to take your kids to vent!
Ferdi S — Google review
We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Ballorig. The place was fun for the kids but service was terrible. Food came later than planned (and only after we went to remind them--they had just forgotten to make it), they forgot to give my daughter the little birthday gift, so I had to demand it before we left, they gave us fewer drink tokens for the adults than was advertised in the package, and finally they forgot to bring us the bags of chips included int the package. Also, they overdo it with the birthdays: there must have been ten when we were there, and clearly the staff could not handle that. We had been there two years ago also to celebrate our daughter's birthday, and we had a pretty good experience. I doubt we'll go next time.
Piero T — Google review
Nice for the kids. Restaurant had good but also healthy food. An nice extra service are the signs at every attraction. It shows what a child can learn during that activity (For example balance and orientation at the trampolines)

Time flies here. Great adventure for your children. You can train balance, vision, logic, social, and co-operation skills. #UPDATE 1: It is now possible to buy fruits, and there is opportunity to buy biological drinks and snacks. #UPDATE 2: Newly refurbished, more games, more fun. Great snack bar! (Those who have year ticket, have now a month longer subscription, during the renovation you couldn't enter.) Disadvantage that they no longer support year tickets from now on.

I went with a group of 8 friends on Saturday, where we split into 2 groups. This was my first escape room experience and I enjoyed it a lot. This one was centred around the local Groningen football team. Lots of lateral thinking and lock combination cracking was needed. You also have the opportunity when you get stuck to ask for help via telephone. Would recommend!

The Game Box Groningen is a popular gaming hall in the Netherlands, offering a variety of games for all ages. It's a great option for families, especially when the weather isn't ideal. The staff are known for being friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The arcade features well-maintained cabinets with fighters, shooters, rhythm games, and more. It's spacious enough to host children's birthday parties and offers different packages for unlimited game time.
The entire area is not entirely huge but spacious enough, kids can have a birthday party here and it depends on the package (unlimited 1 hour free games but no tickets is rewarded) but all and all it’s a fun place for kids and adult since it’s family friendly place.
Girlie G — Google review
We used to go to this arcade and pay €25, but they have now doubled the price without any noticeable improvements. On top of that, they have restricted machine usage to only five plays. This is unacceptable-we won't be coming back.

Really good location to have a date or just have fun with friends! Only thing that could be improved is maybe the AC. It was really warm after 15 min and we didn't even start with the Games where we have to move (Dancing, etc.) Other than that it was really good experience and the Staff was really helpful and nice.
Gio G — Google review
What are those new prices! 40€ an hour is so expensive. Not as good as it was before. Also the new games are not that fun, they just look like phone games.

Whenever I visit Groningen I make sure to visit The Game Box! The staff are super friendly and helpful, and assist with any problems or questions I have. I'm not native and don't speak Dutch either but the staff make me feel very welcomed, assist in English and the environment and atmosphere are second to none! I've spoken with a lot of the staff members there and they are consistently hard working and supportive. I'll be in Groningen in the next few months and i'll make sure I visit here again. The hourly passes are great and allow you to play a variety of different games and arcades whether you're alone, if you are with your partner or even as a family. Would recommend a visit to anyone who is in the area, even if just for an hour!

Customers have shared positive experiences, praising the well-maintained cars and excellent service received when purchasing from MHC Cars. Whether it's a SEAT Arona or an Opel Astra, customers appreciate the quality and attention to detail provided by MHC Cars.
(Translated by Google) I've wanted an automatic for a while and I've been driving a SEAT for years. That's why I ended up here via Autotrack.nl in October. A SEAT Arona 1.0 tsi 85 kW 115 HP dsg-7 Style Business Intense in the color eclipse orange immediately caught the eye. A car with a lot of luxury. Only the ship with money still had to arrive. Meanwhile, the price of the car dropped by €500. But when I was able to pay her, it turned out that she had already been reserved. Then I sent an email in January that I wanted to take a test drive when the car came up for sale again. The next day I received an email back for an appointment. I was kindly received with a cup of coffee and the car was ready for the exit. After some basic explanation, I carefully drove around the block and fell more and more in love. Then I took the plunge and went through with the purchase. I received a nice unexpected price for my old SEAT Ibiza with damage. "We don't make money on trade-ins." I was able to exchange the car the following week. I received some tips via email to ensure the exchange went smoothly. Contact with the saleswoman was very friendly. Furthermore, tires and more of those things were replaced free of charge and I also received a six-month warranty. The car drives very nicely. I haven't tried all the buttons yet, but that will certainly work out fine. A few weeks later I also received a delicious cake delivered to my home. Thank you very much for everything.

Bad experience, if you do not live in Groningen you waste a lot of time with the drop of and pick up which needs to be in Groningen and feel they scr$&$ you over when you hand in the car and they find small scratches and put these costs to you and threaten you with the lose of "schadevrije jaren". (Translated by Google) Ended up here through an internet search. Upon arrival, the sellers were very friendly. Not only attention was paid to me as a man, but my wife and son were also involved in the conversation (we experienced that differently). A test drive was possible immediately and the car was driven from the showroom on the spot. Furthermore, a good concept with direct net prices, so you know where you stand. In my opinion, the cars we viewed there are also competitively priced compared to other sales points. A week later, on Saturday, I picked up the Seat Ibiza 1.2 and was again treated in a friendly and correct manner. Unfortunately, a problem with the battery occurred the same day. A bit annoying, but it is important how something like this is resolved. And the solution was resolved satisfactorily. We were able to have a new battery installed immediately on Monday. Recommended? , Yes, of course. I'm sure we will definitely look here again for our next car.

This time he did receive cooperation and the costs for the cleaning were still reimbursed. I also got flowers. Thank you very much! I am very satisfied and would buy a car here again. We bought a Golf. We are satisfied with the entire process and the employees who helped us. We are not satisfied with the after sales. During the test drive we did not notice any bad smell in the car, only the smell of cleaning products. Three weeks later we picked up the car and when we got in we smelled a foul odor that got worse in the sun. We think smoke or something like that. Contacted the company and asked if they could do anything (e.g. ozone treatment). Unfortunately, they did not want to mean anything and reminded us of our obligation to investigate during the test drive. Clean the car later at your own expense. Furthermore, the car drives perfectly and we hope to enjoy this car for a long time. We denken rook oid.

(Translated by Google) I ended up on the website through an advertisement on the internet and saw a beautiful Ford Focus there. We had excellent contact and everything was handled neatly during the sale and delivery of the car. Even received a delicious cake, thanks for that. If I had to mention a downside it is that an older recall had not yet been carried out, this has now been carried out and the car drives fine.

There is A LOT of kids clothing in this store. Would recommend you set aside a bit of time if you’re to go through the whole thing, especially at sales time as it can seem a bit chaotic.

(Translated by Google) A previously undiscovered gem in a surprising place. Upon reception, a chalkboard was placed next to the table with the menu. A limited menu but what was on it was tasty. Enjoyed a broth beforehand and opted for a filet mignon as a main course. Tasted very good and the service was very friendly and made time for a chat. In terms of location, it is also very nice, right on the campsite, and after dinner you can take a quiet walk through nature. (Original) Een nog niet eerder ontdekt pareltje op een verrassende plek. Qua locatie ook heel leuk, zo op de camping, en na het eten kan je rustig even een stukje lopen door de natuur.

Groenestein is a serene oasis nestled in the bustling city of Groningen, offering a rich tapestry of plant and animal life. Situated in the Helpman neighborhood, this park forest is home to the historic Huis Groenestein villa, which was built in 1865 and later expanded in 1871. The park's present-day charm is owed to this extension. It's considered a lovely place to reside as well.
