What an amazing breakfast experience at this stunning café in Delft! The flat white was absolutely perfect, and the bread was simply divine. The interior is gorgeously stylish, with a warm and modern charm that makes you feel right at home. The service was outstanding, super friendly and attentive, adding to the overall delight. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great brunch experience! We were expecting to have to wait a while for a table as we were told the place is really popular, but luckily we got a table right away. The staff was very friendly and the service great. The food was delicious with unique flavors and the chai latte was one of the best I have ever had (and I am having one everywhere I go). So I totally recommend this place for a cozy and flavorful brunch!

Super nice atmosphere, feels like home, delicious food, flat white, smoothies , deserts! Gluten free and suger free deserts for the kids also. Such an amazing brunch spot in Delft! I went on a sunday with my mother. We were immediately approached by a server and told that they would have a table cleared very soon. The wait was about 10 minutes. Kek serves good coffee with beautiful latte art. The pineapple smoothie was also delicious. What makes Kek stand out the most is the incredible plating of the food, which makes you feel like your eating from an artwork on a plate. The sweet potato cheddar waffles were soft and decadent and definitely my favorite menu item here. Speaking about the menu, kek offers a great variaty of sweet and savory dishes as well as some delicious sandwiches (definitely recommend the green asperge one) and some vibrant refreshing smoothie bowls. It's also very vegan/ vegetarian-friendly. While the entire place was filled with people, the noice wasn´t overwelming. The service was excellent with extremely welcoming servers. The place is beautifully decorated with its cozy living-room-like astmosphere. It's filled with sofa's and cozy chairs creating a warm and charming vibe. Perfect for a coffee meet-up with friends or to have a lovely brunch.

Its so cute and the food is SUPER. The servers are super nice and welcoming. The coffee is also nice. Sometimes a little loud with smoothies but other than that this is the perfect breakfast/brunch spot in delft. The food was filling but not heavy. Definitely recommend.

finally tried out this place on a cloudy family Sunday. The waitresses were so nice and friendly. The Asian Tempeh was such a new thing for me. The bean product is a novel experience. But the red potato cheddar pancake is a nice attempt! The sweet and savory taste amazingly blended with each other. I love the cheese cake too.

The café is really cute. Also the employees were nice. We had a cappuccino and a chai latte, got it with a small stroopwaffle, both really good. It was quite crowded so there was just one place left on a wooden bench, which was a bit uncomfortable. Toilet also really clean and nice. Would recommend.

The americano is so good! Also this place is open early. So if you want to sip a coffee earlier before work, this place can be a great option. The place is also warm and cozy, such a good place to start your day in Delft 👌🏻

A fantastic place for good quality coffee, served with warmth and genuine friendliness. In addition to great coffee, we recommend trying out their delectable chocolate chip sea salt cookie.

Great place. Coming from the U.K., you’re almost never served water with your coffee so this was a nice change. A sweet biscuit is also included in the price of the coffee too. I had an iced latte with oat milk and it was perfectly done. Unlike most iced coffees, you can actually taste the coffee in the drink and the oat milk used doesn’t detract away from the taste. I sat here for an hour, drank coffee, and read a book and felt perfectly welcome to do so. Clearly the owner knows her stuff and has created a nice atmosphere so I’d recommend it to anyone.

Super cute & friendly little coffee shop! The coconut mocha was great. You have to buy a 1 euro reusable cup for takeaway. The takeaway line took a little while but it was yummy!

We were looking for some comfort on a rainy day in Delft and ended up here, the perfect spot. We had some coffees and such. Lattes, Caramel Lattes, Americanos. But also a few savory and sweet bites and sandwiches. They sell merch and vintage objects which gives the bar a cosy abd homey feeling. The staff is very helpful and kind.

An absolute delight of a cafe! Food: The coffees were delicious, with the staff knowing their beans and being able to advise you on your choice. Additionally they have a few more creative drinks suck as London Fog, which is hard to find in The Netherlands. They also had quite a few tea options on the menu! The choice of cake was also very broad, and the ones that we had were quite delicious! Definitely worth coming back to try the other options. Service: The owner as well as the younger staff were very helpful and smiley, making the customers feel comfortable and taken care of! Atmosphere: The ambiance of the cafe is very cozy and personal with so many interior design pieces that you can buy for your own home. You can also buy coffee specialty products, cards, etc. The music is also very nice suited.

One of the nicest cafes in Delft! Enjoy very good cappuccino and nice tarts! The cheesecake was one of the best I have eaten in Delft! This period of time you can drink pumpkin spice latte or cappuccino! It was very tasty! The service is also very friendly!

This place is a bit of a local institution in Delft. We stopped here for lunch and sat outdoors on the pontoon. The atmosphere was fantastic, with beautiful views of the canal, the City Hall, and the Spire of the New Church, and the whole place was thoughtfully decorated. The staff were very nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The printed menus are in Dutch, but you can easily scan a QR code to access the English menu, and there is a big selection of items to choose from. I ordered the fresh ginger and mint tea, which came with a side of Delftse elderflower syrup — really delicious and refreshing. My husband had the homemade lemonade and loved it as well. For food, we tried the Salmon Surprise bread roll (salmon mousse on a bed of cucumber, lettuce, egg, and alfalfa, garnished with radish and dill) and the Oude Delft Burger, which came with fried bacon and egg, onions, and melted cheese, and the Sweet Goat Salad. The burger was absolutely delicious — juicy and full of flavor. The sweet goat salad was also really delicious. The Salmon Surprise, while beautifully presented and very artistic, didn’t quite hit the mark for us; it felt a bit too dense and heavy. There are plenty of seating options inside, outside, and on the pontoon. Overall, it was a wonderful spot for a relaxing lunch by the water with some of the best views of Delft.

The menu has something for everyone from pancakes and toasted sandwiches to burgers, bread rolls, and fresh salads. We ordered a burger and a bread roll, and both were absolutely delicious. They also offer a variety of milk-based drinks, so we tried the vanilla smoothie…it was amazing! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Very popular so it may be advisable to book in advanced for the weekend. Very nice and friendly staff.

The Stads-Koffyhuis is located directly on a canal – and the best part: You can sit on a boat that's moored right in front of the restaurant. A truly wonderful experience! We had tomato soup and apple pie with cream, along with black tea and a latte macchiato. The tomato soup was wonderfully aromatic and creamy, with just the right amount of seasoning. The apple pie was at a pleasant temperature, with a subtle hint of cinnamon and small, aromatic apple pieces – absolutely delicious! 🍎🥧 Sitting on the boat, enjoying life and gazing at the leaning tower of the Oude Kerk was simply perfect. A place to feel good – highly recommended! 👍🏻

Stads Koffyhuis is a lovely little spot in Delft. In the summertime you can even eat on a boat in front of the restaurant. It was autumntime, so Dirk and I ate on a boat inside the restaurant instead. I tried the burger, which won an award 14 years ago. It was ok but it was not cooked all the way through. I don’t think it won an award today. The salad was very nice. The pancake was good, but not great. The prices are a little high, maybe due to boat maintenance. The staff were friendly and Dirk said he would return providing he is able to get approval.

I bought an apple pie from this place to-go when I was wandering around in Delft. And OMG it is like the best apple pie I have ever had. It is freshly baked and well balanced between the apple's sour and sweet taste and a hint of cinnamon flavor (not a big fan of cinnamon, but I totally fell into it this time). My friend living in delft told me the dutch pancake from this restaurant is also quite good - please do drop by when you get a chance. Won't regret it.

We had a perfect weather for this restuarant. We sat on the boat area and had a great view of the old church. Food was great and if you are used to Amsterdam pricing this place will make you feel you scored a bargain. Would highly recommend the restaurant!

Came for dinner and had mussels in a flavorful sauce with lots of veggies 🦪🥦 Served with fries and mayo – absolutely fantastic! 🍟😋 Also tried the vegetarian rice platter – perfectly composed with rice, egg in spicy sauce, beans, pickled cucumber, peanut & plum dressing, spring rolls, tiny chips, and a vegan curry. Generous portions and amazing flavors all around! 🌿🔥

Came across this place as recommended by AI “Must Visit” schedule planned for us. As a former Post Office location, the dining area and outside seating was done very nicely. The menu was reminiscent of “Indo”-like flavors and Dutch flare. The drink menu was also outstanding.

For a great dinner experience, definitely come here. You can go outside in the back with a big garden style seating, all with rustic quaint furniture. While enjoying the occasional nature available (bees, ravens), the staff is friendly and helpful. The food however seals the deal. The combination of flavor and texture is inventive and clearly in the chef's blood. Every course, every plate will show something unique to experience. Be it the high quality beef (tender throughout), the chimichurri with crispy bits inside, or the many garnishes around it, all the way to a multi layered dessert with many subtle flavors to keep your flavor palette guessing with each bite, and texture keeping it interesting throughout. It only whets the appetite for your next visit, to wonder how it will suprise you next time.

A mostly positive experience. The restaurant is housed in a charming old post office building, which gives it a cozy and eclectic atmosphere that is both inviting and stylish. The ambiance is relaxed yet sophisticated, with the option to sit inside or enjoy the lovely garden and canal-side seating. (Didn't do it because of weather and nobody was outside that day.) The food was generally very good, with creative dishes that showed thoughtful preparation and fresh ingredients.Portions were ok. The menu offers a good selection, including vegetarian and vegan options. Service is a bit inconsistent. At times, I found it difficult to get the attention of the staff or have drinks orders taken promptly, and the pace could be slow I imagine if it was busier. While some servers were friendly and attentive, others seemed avoidant or less engaged. Despite this, the overall warmth and charm of the place made the experience enjoyable. I would say well worth it. I would recommend making a reservation, as the place tends to get busy, and be patient with the service during peak times. The prices are reasonable for the quality and setting. Overall, 't Postkantoor is a delightful spot in Delft with good food and atmosphere, worth visiting again for a relaxed, casual dining experience with character.

One of the most unique cafe/espresso bar we've ever visited. We really enjoyed chillin' in the sofa sipping coffee and hot chocolate while eating some phenomenal sweets. It's evident that a lot of thought was put into every detail, from decor and atmosphere, to food and drinks, to cups and plates. The owner is a wonderful host and you can really feel his personality resonating with the place and the whole experience you're having. I highly recommend stopping here!

We enjoyed some lovely chocolates, specialty coffee, and nice, warming tea at Neef Rob. The seating area is tremendously cozy and a great place to relax after walking around. Service was friendly and energetic, too! All of the chocolates we tried were delish, but my favorite was the dark chocolate with coconut. And the alcoholic "chatter water" packs a warming punch! Highly recommend coming here for some tea, coffee, and a sweet or savory snack in the morning or afternoon. Skip the chain coffee places and enjoy a spot with real atmosphere!

This place has quickly become one of my favorites in Delft, a true hidden gem! Rob has created so many interesting tea blends that it'll take forever for me to try them all out! Apart from the tea, they have some of the best coffees in Delft and a very unique selection of desserts. The staff is super friendly and they, and the service is good. The atmosphere inside is nice and cozy as well.

I ordered a latte but i got a koffie verkeerd (should have read the signs better, but they are not the same). The milk was also way too hot unfortunately. Capuccino was good Edit: thank you for your response. From my experience a cafe latte is made with an espresso shot while a koffie verkeerd is made with filter koffie which results in a different drink. Perhaps you mean a cafe au lait? I also gave a lower rating because the milk was too hot.

YES! I'm from Delft and actually gave up on the idea there's any good pastry available in the city, until today. I had the cheesecake with kunafa and pistachio and it was amazing. Very good quality, fresh and homemade. The coffee also was excellent. I'm a happy man :)

The coffee was too acidic for my taste. I ordered a flat white and a tahini loaf. Neither of the two things has caught my attention. I expected the menu to be available, but it was not, they only had part of the sweet menu available.

Very nice cafe in the city of Delft. The staff is very friendly and not pushing you to order something every 5 minutes like most of the other cafe in Delft. So, this place is very convenient to study or work for 1 hour or more. The food is good.

The food is spot on. And I love that they have Arabic dishes and a bit of Arabic fusion on there. Being half Arab myself and I know the chef is also form the Arabic world I know the food is legit. I'll be back!

What an amazing place to have a breakfast. I ate the BLT Sandwitch and every single ingredient was super flavorful and good. We only had to wait a bit because they were baking the Croissants. Also the orange juice was amazing. I also attach a picture of the Croissant and Granola dish which I've been told it was delicious. I fully recommend this place.

I had a good matcha latte. The milk was very creamy and the waitress was very kind! The caffe macchiato was very sour, and I wouldn't have it again. The shakshuka was super tasty! The pita was crunchy, and it all had a lot of flavor. The BLT was super good as well. There are a lot of ingredients and textures. The bread has a nice crust and is very light and soft on the inside. Avocado toast is always a yummy idea to have. Price wise, it's definitely worth your money! I highly recommend it!

A cafe in Delft with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The chef prepared excellent breakfast and brunch foods with special mention going to the blueberry pancakes if you're looking for something sweet, but with all good being prepared to a high and consistent standard. The coffee was sublime. Always struggle to find a good coffee but this place nails it. They have a high grade espresso machine with baristas well suited to use it. Staff are super friendly and not stuffy. English and Dutch are both equally acceptable.

Super chill spot. Amazing matcha. So amazing that I had it a second time right after with mango instead of strawberry. But I think the strawberry one was the best. These additives were also not too sweet that it was ruining the matcha. It was a perfect balance. Self service and the seating is nice to come with a couple friends.

As l got tired by cycling, took a rest here. Coffee seems good but l ordered just cola.. Good atmosphere. But normal cola taste with 3.9 €, of course. Free WiFi was excellent.

To think it’s just the coffeebeans responsible for an excellent brew would be naive. They have the excellent La Marzocco espresso coffee machines, you’ll notice a difference! So get that double espresso, add an extra shot to it and you’ll get an incredibly rich flavoured brew from them in return. One of the best in Delft💪🏻☕️

Too slow and only one barman - waiting 12 minutes - 4 people in front of me. The “patina” looks (and smell) more dirthy than stylish and tables has no electric charge. 👺Food - Im sorry yogurt and chia pudding are not fresh, design has no purpose or point… no overcriticism - this is problem of all rapid growth chains which want to make clever concept based on cheep student´ s jobs…first cofeecompany shops were full of enthusiasm (and stuff) now smell by cheap money and short breath. Coffee? - I do not want to be negative… large size was just milk or water… latte was cold… golden cheap and honest filtred cofee in Starbucks…Delft pitoresque, but …. dutch quays are same one by one… thanks to God clean and loved so still fresh and tasty. Otherwise now, when internet cover up the true powers rules this world we can reed in the Delft streets the permanent struggle for existence, finally locked in the rutine “to safe the small what we get from this existence”. Which is loop locked this concept too. As for me: next time better Ikea… fresh and cosmopolitan. Something positive? Sure: Good morning opening hours, good music, good company of guests with “still human brain”. Barrista made the best.

Had fried eggs on toast with fresh fruit and salad. My husband had the same plus avocado. Freshly squeezed orange juice as well and topped all of this with a chocolate tort. Highly recommend.

Wow! Gezellig af! It is a very cute spot to have brunch in Delft. They even have gluten free options :) I had the gf salmon bagel with a fried egg and an iced latte with oat milk, it was so so lekker. I am very impressed. It is a small but cozy place.

The coffee here is exceptional—rich, flavorful, and you can choose between so many options of brewing! What really surprised me were the enormous portions of their lunch food- it's a fantastic value and quality for the price. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making us to come back second time! The surroundings are nice and calm, providing a relaxing atmosphere with not too many people passing by.

Discovered this hidden gem with my parents on a week day. Tasty avocado toast with salmon and tuna salad toast with fried eggs, flat white and cappuccino are also great. On top of that, the waiter is super kind and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better! Will definitely come back again.

A friend recommended that we tried their cheese and ham tostie, and their apple pie with cream. The tostie was excellent and the apple pie was incredible!

The Apple Pie 🥧 is absolutely 💯 👌 amazing 👏 👍 and the remaining menu is also worth giving it a try. Very cosy atmosphere and friendly staff members. Good range of seatings are available between outdoor areas and indoor seating. Very good and rare collection of some of the old vintage logos. Also it's now a great memorable place for me, where I meet my pen pal for the first time in person 😀 thank you.

Visited in April 2023. Stopped by this place for lunch on our way to The Hague. I don’t recall there being an English menu so we just used our phones to translate. Ordered a Caesar salad, nachos and an apple pie. The nacho were not bad although it was interesting that the dipped served alongside it was mustard. We wanted to try the apple pie as reviews said that this was the place to have one. However, whilst it was tasty, we felt that the filling could have been more seasoned and also juicier as it was a bit dry.

A nice place in the middle of DELFT. Had a seat in a very nice open space area. Ordered their special nachos and dip, with some drinks and their apple pie with cream dessert. Yummy. Recommended when there and need a relaxing break.

This restaurant is inside an AMAZING Italian grocery store with a fantastic deli counter. The food was splendid, and the service was spectacular. The servers kept my allergy in mind and were able to provide several excellent alternatives for me.

I visited Il Tartufo two days in a row and tried different pasta dishes each time. Both were absolutely delicious! Great food and excellent service. The staff were friendly, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Very good lasagna with a rich sauce. Flavourful and sumptuous. The cannoli was a tad too sweet but savoury nonetheless. Friendly staff that would explain and give you their recommendations based on your preferences, definitely would revisit.

Nice place with excellent service and very friendly people. This is very valuable, and they create the nice atmosphere inside. The wine is original quality, so super good. The food is good, but I not so tasty like in Italy. Anyhow a nice place to have dinner with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

I loved i. We had the arancini, burrata and prosciutto starter, lasagna and a truffle sauce pasta that I forgot the name now. Everything was absolutely delicious. They are very busy and we were lucky to get a table without reservation but I strongly recommend you book a table, mainly on weekends.

It is an average place where you can find average food. It was not the best experience, we had to wait 30 mins for a table which is fine because we knew that we needed to wait but after we were seated we had to wait 20 more mins to order and the pasta was not that tasty. Long story short it wasn’t worth the time. And please don’t order arancini if you are not a fan of cold meat wrapped in hot risotto :)

Fantastic place a bit away from the more popular parts of Delft - it felt very genuine and comfortable. We had to make a booking for the next night, so guessing walk ins won't have a good time. Very affordable and delicious food - have the stamppot and the dessert of the day!

We love this place. The price and quality here are superb. They are serving nice homemade food here. You can go for some typical Dutch food, Strampot, mesh potatoes with vegetables. Another option is to try their several meat option, chicken, sausages or fried pork. You can eat them with different style of potatoes, fries, mesh potatoes or baked potatoes. I also like their gravy sources. However, be patient because you may need to wait for food a bit long since there were a lot of people.

Very cozy atmosphere, you feel at home. the food is delicious, especially by Dutch standards, the service was excellent and everything was delicious, including the wine. My fart was a stamppot with mother's meatballs with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, the dish came with an incredible meat broth and the sauce was topped up as desired. I recommend.

Wonderful family owned restaurant. I spoke to the staff, it’s been running since 1958. The mother who lives upstairs makes the meatballs by hand with her own recipe. I love the cosy home-cooked style theme with this restaurant. Quality, no-fuss, reasonably priced and delicious Dutch food. I would definitely visit here again!

I visited on two occasions whilst touring around the Netherlands and had the Stamppot both times - there are other delicious-sounding things on the menu too but the Stamppot is for sure the signature dish. Very delicious food and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant has a small, personal feel to it which I really liked. The Stamppot is made with different vegetables each week, and it is great value for money too.

this hidden gem deserves the highest rating. what a place, what an experience. authentic dutch house, dutch food, and great service. just walkimg through the restaurant will give you a feeling for what to expect as you go along. we went all the way to the garden at the backside for our place. the way they take your order is quite a unique style and gives you a feeling that you are not a stranger but a guest in the house. person will sit at the table next to you to discuss what you like to eat and drink. food is in good quantity at very modest pricing. whatever you will eat here, I am sure is going to be good for uou as it is made and serve with love and passion. Went to this bar just because my friend and I need shelter but ended up loving this bar.. very cozy, clean, the staffs were friendly lots of games to play too.. definitely a place to hangout !! Oh and my ice caramel latte was legit as heck..

Most of the sandwiches can be ordered with glutefree bread! Tasty and filling portion for lunch. Good service! Fingers crossed for gf cakes and brownies for my next visit.

Beef stew for lunch! Great idea when it’s cold outside. Flammkuchen was also good though not typical, with cold toppings instead of everything cooked in the oven.

I've been buying coffee beans from Miss Morrison for over a year now, and I'm very happy to have such a good roastery in Delft. The quality is great and the price is good too. I like that I can get 10% more beans by using a refillable container. The owners have always been welcoming and helpful when asking about new beans. Would recommend this place to anyone serious about making coffee at home.

Can't say anything bad yet about this cute and cozy coffeeshop. Whenever I am back in The Netherlands for family visit I return for a coffee here in Delft with Miss Morrison. It is awesome to see that the shop hasn't changed it roots. Welldone guys. Keep doing the same great job you are doing guys, at least I have a good reason to keep travelling from Melbourne Oz back to Delft for an amazing coffee experience.

Cozy shop to have a coffee. The staff is very nice and easy to talk to. The main attraction to me are their house roasted beans. I got some natural processed Brazilian beans and made a v60 with them. They are well roasted and nice quality. There's some fermented flavor in the beans I got (I know it comes more easily with a naturaly processed) which I'm not a fan of, but the coffee is otherwise pretty solid. Especially for the price, this quality is insane. I'll definitely go back and for sure check out other coffees.

As far as i know this is the only place that roasts coffee in Delft. The quality of beans is not excellent but it's very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem i had which resulted in not buying coffee from this store is that they do not sell less than 250 grams and this amount is almost equal to my monthly consumption. After two weeks the coffee loses its quality and therefore i don't want to drink it anymore. Now i get 150 grams from other stores; however, i prefer the coffee of Miss Marrison.

I bought a bag if Miss Morrison coffee when I was in Delft to give it a try. Its so delicious that I had to order myself another HUGE bag for home delivery when it ran out. Needless to say, I've not been disappointed. Love their coffee and will be sure to purchase more before I run out. ❤❤

Have been buying coffee beans from miss Morrison for a year. In my opinion it’s still best choice so far after comparing with couple of shops from Amsterdam even. ‘Delftse blend ‘ and ‘Miss Morrison’s Favorite ‘are highly recommended.

The place was cozy, warm, and surprisingly spacious. The service was great, very kind and attentive. The food was okay. We had the steak, but personally I didn’t enjoy it that much, maybe because of the quality of the meat. Still, the overall atmosphere made it a pleasant evening.

Really good brunch option. Elegant decorum and excellent service. The steak sauce was a bit too acidic for me, maybe too much lime juice? But the portions were big and I left there feeling satisfied.

Food was decent, but nothing special. A bit expensive, but people are probably ready to pay more due to location

The food Jamey Bennett is amazing and the atmosphere is also really good, but the service is quite slow. So if you expect to grab a quick lunch it’s definitely not the right place, even getting our bill took forever.

Nice place for a drink at night or a nice dinner. We had a very nice bridal party before my wedding and I really enjoyed the drinks and the food. The burrata, the coquilles and the pork belly were very nice and tasty. From the cocktails I really liked the espresso martini and the mango mojito ( non alcoholic). Very nice location and nice atmosphere. The service was ok but it could be more social.

Red Thai curry soup was so flavorful! Good espresso martinis too.

As name suggests it's a beer place. But unlike pub, it's cozy you can visit with your family and take kids along for a nice dinner. They used to give unlimited peanuts which was something different from other places but not anymore. Grill chicken is one of the best dishes I found there and freshly baked bread is amazing.

The chicken is a must try. Very delicious... also the staff are very kind and helpful. Having peanuts on the tables is an amazing idea ... the best chicken in town. High quality and good service. The beer is of course made on site. There are different types of craft beer. Blond and dark, etc.

I think it's a really good place for craft beer lovers. You can be like a barista serving yourself your own beer. Good variety, and it has plenty space inside and two floors for really big groups of people.

Very tasty and delicious chicken cooked on charcoal, good home brewed beers with peanuts on the table as snack. Large inside place with industrial decor with limited outside tables in front of entrance. Staff are welcoming and responsive. It has brewery drums and host said they brewed beer last week. Updated: the chicken and beer were good the next visit however, the host was not as friendly as the previous hosts. Maybe because of event preparation or as we were the first guest of the day. There were no offer of their sauces (we asked from chef to give us them), or next round of beer or desert. Hence, reducing 4 star to 3. This review is for bierfabriek Delft, they have also location in Amsterdam and Almere.

One of our favorite places to hang out and have some drinks after work. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. They have a great selection of beers on tap, my go to is the Schafttijd, one of the few IPAs I enjoy! Their vegetarian samosas are good, but we haven't tried their other dishes yet. It is also great fun when they bring the peanuts and you can just throw the shells to the floor. Would highly recommend. Edit: do try their cocktails as well! Just had a long island beer, it was really tasty Edit 2: their fries are surprisingly underrated. They have a rustic vibe with thick cut and the skin on.

First thing you see and you’re very surprised is that those peanut shells scattered all over the floor! They put a bunch of peanuts on the table as a snack and we eat before/along their craft beer, then freely throw all shells to the floor. I haven’t seen such a place in NL before and it’s an very interesting concept. Besides craft beer, we tried special chicken and a hamburger, both were fine. Good atmosphere on Saturday night!

They used to have four types of own draft bears, not they have six. I like the puur and the red one (vals alarm) I had visitted this place many times and I always ordered bbq chicken. The bbq chicken is amazing. They used to serve unlimited peanut, as of September 2022 it is not available. Our go to place in delft.

A cozy vibe and the server Erina was super friendly! The white chocolate milk is to die for if you’re a fan of white chocolate. Their matcha is also high quality, although it couldve been a bit sweeter

Not only were the drinks delicious (a latte macchiato and a cappuccino, both just perfect), but his kindness, smile, and positive energy made the whole experience unforgettable. Considering it was only his second day at the store makes it even more impressive – he already makes customers feel so welcome and cared for. I got a tasty cappuccino and some matcha drinks from here. It was a busy time, but Erina (the staff) gave us such great explanations that we could easily decide what to order. This cappuccino really made my husband’s day 😉 I’d love to come back and try different drinks and those amazing-looking desserts next time!

The coffee was good however the service wasn’t. There were 2 people on the shift (which in my opinion wasn’t enough). I waited 35 minutes for 2 coffees. While the guy working was running around and doing so much, the girl was simply existing and taking the takeaway orders. Truly an irritating experience

If you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, this is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the staff make you feel welcome right away. The song selection is huge, from timeless classics to current chart hits, so everyone in the group can find something they’re excited to sing.

Nice place to sing karaoke. Should’ve come with a epileptic warning since they cannot turn off the lighting /discobal setting in the room. The staff was kind enough to change us to another room. :)

Very nice rooftop terrace with nice views. Their drinks were okay, however, I have to say that some of the cocktails tasted like they didn't have much alcohol in them, and the red wine was a bit too warm. They also have a very handy, fuss-free ordering system, where you scan a QR code on the table and order via your phone.

I have been many times and this year it has improved significantly. The interior has been updated and looks like a jungle. The terrace is one of the few in the city looking over grote markt. - good cocktails - friendly and fast staff - nice ambience - great view

Found the closest open place during a heavy rain shower and ended up at Bagels & Beans in Delft. I am not really a fan of chains. However, I was pleasantly surprised and obsessed with their coffee. I will buy a whole bag of grounds next time I'm in! My cappuccino was the size of my head, and it nearly took me an hour to drink – loved it! My wife opted for a hot chocolate, which was rich and full of flavor! We also had a piece of date pie and more than appreciated this sweet treat! So far, I'm won over by the coffee and maybe next time I'll try a bagel.

It’s ok - the bagels were fine but we had to wait more than 40 mins to get them. The water kefir was basically sparkling water, but maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be, I don’t know, but I was disappointed. Sweet iced coffee was good.

Went to Bagels & Beans and ordered a spicy tuna bagel. Halfway through, I found a piece of plastic in it (you can see it in the photo). They took the tuna away and asked if I wanted another one, but honestly, I was already disgusted and didn’t want to eat anything else. Then they tried to "make up for it" by taking the coffee off the bill but still charged me for the bagel. So basically, they wanted me to pay for the thing with plastic in it, just a bit less. That felt like a sneaky move. They said the plastic probably came from a broken container — which is already gross — and that makes me wonder how many more pieces might have been in the food. Also, where exactly did this container break? On the floor? Still doesn’t sound very hygienic. At the end, they refused to take the bagel off the bill because I’d already eaten most of it. But if I’d found the plastic earlier, I wouldn’t have eaten any. To me, that’s not a valid excuse — the food had plastic in it, it was unsafe, end of story. The staff kept insisting and didn’t really acknowledge their mistake. Just kept saying "the boss decided" — like that’s supposed to make it better. All in all, pretty disappointing experience. Hygiene seems questionable and the way they treat customers is just bad.

Beautiful quaint cafe with nice interior (as the photos posted). Just that the view (outside the cafe) is now ruined by some construction works. Otherwise you’ll see the river and park nearby. We had the red velvet cake with white chocolate chips.. was okay

Little place with very rude staff. Me and my friend went there to grab coffee however they had 20 min to closing so we took two coffees to go and sat on the terrace since it was still open but the staff came to us and told us that „if we took to go we cannot sit here”. That’s ridiculous. I will definitely never visit again and don’t recommend that either!!!! There are a lot better and friendlier places to grab a coffee in The Hague.

Looking for a nice breakfast option? You should try this super cute place! Tables are available inside & outside. Reservations are not possible. This place is offering alternative milk and gluten-free options. We ordered a Matcha Latte, English Breakfast Tea & a orange juice. for food we had the avocado sandwich with really a lot avocado :) The food was prepared fresh & tasted really good. The kitchen is rather small. If you are a bigger group or if there is a lot going on in the restaurant, waiting time is a little bit longer. We definitely recommend this place!

I was really disappointed with the service at this coffee shop. I arrived around 8:27 AM, well after their listed opening time of 8:00, but the staff was still outside setting up tables and chairs. Meanwhile, I (and another customer who had been waiting even longer) stood at the counter waiting to order. It felt like the staff didn’t prioritize customers at all. If you open at 8, you should be ready to serve by then—not still preparing nearly 30 minutes later. Very poor first impression.

Having experienced the exceptional pastries and baked goods of Paris, my expectations were quite high, and the competition is indeed steep. We visited a charming café offering various activities such as board games, piano, and books. Patrons were engaged in work on their laptops or friendly conversation, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying coffee. We ordered a chocolate cheesecake and banana bread. The cheesecake was satisfactory, though not exceptional enough for a return visit, but enjoyable nonetheless. The banana bread, however, was somewhat dry and lacked a strong banana flavor. Overall, the café was lovely, with helpful and kind servers. The coffee, however, was average, using unremarkable beans.

Filtro is an excellent cafe with many things to try. I ordered the chocolate cheesecake and the iced latte. The chocolate cake’s taste was wonderful especially with the cacao. They also serve strawberry syrup and crackers in the plates. I ordered the Iced Latte which was okay. I hope they could add a Spanish Latte to their Menu. Their service was very kind. Workers helped us on where to sit, etc. The atmosphere was also nice. Outdoor and indoor seatings are wonderful depending on weather. Some tables and chairs were in a weird position. It is not recommended to sit in those because food can fall off. Would I come back again? Yes, but I would like them to also add Matcha. In a normal way with different types of milk.

We love this café! Filtro is a cozy place on a cute street in The Hague. They have really good coffee, tasty matcha, and fresh food like croissants, grilled sandwiches, and salad bowls. With green and peaceful garden and charming terrace. The staff were friendly, and everything was clean. A very cozy cafe in the city center, almost a hidden gem with a beautiful indoor garden. It's great for a brunch or an afternoon coffee with some dessert. Everything is freshly baked and homemade. Too bad I wasn't hungry when we visited this place because while we were there they were also baking a pear pie with white chocolate and marzipan. The smell was heavenly! The service is also very nice and friendly. Highly recommend!

The best Hot Chocolate in the world. I have never tasted a hot chocolate this good. There was many flavours of the chocolate, and you can mix them together to blend your own. The owner was very nice, gave us(I went there with my siblings) a trial of the new menu. It was amazing!

The best spot between Rotterdam and Delft! The atmosphere is always pleasant, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The menu has a great variety of drinks, savory bites, and sweets. I’ve tried many and never been disappointed. My favorites are the tuna melt, the hot chocolate, and the chai latte, all their coffees are delicious and prepared with love… oh, and their mini stroopwafel is the best I’ve ever had! I simply love this place and recommend it as a must-stop when visiting Delft.

Very nice cafe at the corner of Markt square. Great services, good hot chocolate with various choices of dark, white, etc., and yummy carrot cake. There is a choice of indoor and outdoor seating -- with a view of the square.

I had an amazing experience at The Blue Heart Brew in Delft! The service was truly outstanding — everyone was friendly and welcoming. Great spot sitting out front in the sunny street we had a great brunch here. Service was quick and friendly. Can't vouch for the inside dining experience. The food was tasty, good portion size and well presented. Definitely recommend if you are in Den Haag!

We visited this cozy coffee bar and absolutely loved it! ☕️ We had a Pumpkin Spice Latte, a Matcha Latte, a Red Velvet Cake, and a cookie — everything was delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was beautiful. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, perfect for a chill afternoon. This is an excellent place to have breakfast. We went there with kids and they provided a baby chair. While the menu is limited, there is a good variety in the options available. We ordered french omelette and the jalapeno grilled cheese pancakes, both with bacon. The taste was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The cappuccino and hot chocolate we ordered along with the food were also great.

It was a truly authentic and unique experience. We tried the Samosa Chole, Falafel with Hummus, and the Blueberry pancake. We loved everything, especially the Samosa. It is a must visit while in The Hague.

We had a wonderful experience at Kaldi! The lattes were delicious and served beautifully in the most wonderful coffee cups. We sat inside even though outdoor seating is possible and found the decor and sitting arrangements to be welcoming and hip. The staff was kind and attentive. We will definitely return!

Great place for a lunch. We ordered a Salmon salad and a Labs lunch with pineapple smoothie and homemade Iced T. And ended with a brownie cheesecake and a red velvet cake with cappuccino. Very friendlly staff.

A cozy cafe to work or hangout with friends. I personally found the quality of the food to be the best on campus. The avocado poached egg sandwich was one of the best I had. The ginger tea was also good. If I had to nitpick, I would say one of the eggs was 30 seconds more overcooked. Again, this doesn't really ruin the experience. The other egg was perfectly cooked though, the rich runny yolk was a sight to die for. Their sourdough bread was exquisite. I had a mixed experience with the service. At first the person who came to take my order was rude and rushed me, giving no time to think however, the lady who served me was courteous and helpful. I wish they had more outlets so that my seating options weren't limited as I wanted to work from there. Overall experience was good and would recommend this place.

If you can appreciate taste of light to medium roast coffee beans, this is the best location for coffee, by far, on the TU campus. However, in the evenings, it becomes sometimes crowded if there is a corporate/department wide event. Also, it's not that cheap for students, but I think the quality is well worth the price, considering the service, furniture and actual item ordered.

Can't beat a nice brunch in a store with full glass windows. Food well prepared Relaxed seating arrangement. One can even has the meal outdoor on the grass.

The location and interior are both nice, and the staff are also friendly and helpful. That being said, the food is mediocre at best, and the prices are too high for what you get. A childrens tosti with cheese is €6 plus €4 for a teeny tiny soup. The tosti was dry with a single piece of dried up, melted cheese. The focaccia was €14 for an adult version of dry sandwich. It's just disappointing. I come more often for drinks and enjoy those, usually. But the hot beverages are often lukewarm, even though I've learned to specifically ask for everything extra-hot (after many tepid chai lattes). I just think you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. It's a bummer, because I love the people and location. I just wish the price:quality was better. Note: when I said the food was dry, the personnel were super engaged and wanted to fix it, even though it had been eaten. I do really appreciate that.

Went here every day the week we stayed in Delft, since we stayed at IBIS and got 10% discount with Anne&Max. Fast service with great vegan options. We tried basically everything on the menu and highly recommend the banana bread dish (not very sweet and served very differently than in the US) and the planet friendly start.

Went here for breakfast. We had the açai bowl and croissant with scrambled egg w/ bacon. Both were tasty. The açai bowl could have been better. They added their own homemade granola. The granola was crispy. And, for those who don’t like raisins, it also had raisins and other dried fruit. It didn’t include a lot of fresh fruit. Just a bit of sliced banana, a couple of halved grapes and a slice of orange.

This place is overpriced to the point of delusion. Especially the breakfast for 2 platters. 19€ per person and it doesn't even include coffee. Absolutely not worth it compared to other breakfast places in the city. 10 euros would feel more realistic for the amount of food items you get. Edit: In the reply you're writing that I said it's not clear on the menu. That is not true. I'm saying that it's ridiculous that a 19 euro breakfast doesn't even include a beverage. Anne&Max Delft is by far the coziest of the branches we have been in. The food is delicious and the cafe has a great ambience with lots of natural light. The location is also ideal as it's right next to the train station.The owner, Jasper goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. We would highly recommend it and we are definite return customers

Gorgeous place next to the central station. Friendly service and excellent food. The dream croissant is indeed dreamy - crispy on the outside with a bunch of soft and tasty goodies inside. The filter coffee is ok but good enough for a morning pick-me-up. The environment is just great though. Love it.

The coffee? Divine. And yes, you even get to pick your own beans, because why settle? But let me give you a tip: “stick to the coffee.” I didn’t order food, but the water? Suspicious. There were little bits floating around, and the glass looked straight-up cloudy. Hygiene? Questionable. So yeah, four stars—because the coffee slays, but the water? Not today, my coffee fellow.

Nice coffee, great pastry. Went there to get coffee beans and some bakery to take away. It was Monday morning and the cafe was pack, nearly full. The only reason I give a 4 stars is that a waiting time is a bit long just to buy a coffee bean and some to-go bakery. Other wise the coffee beans I brought home taste great and really recommend their cheese croissant 🥐! Best prosciutto ham & blue cheese croissant so far.

I really enjoyed my time here. I ordered a matcha with oat milk, and it was genuinely good. It was a bit pricey compared to other places I’ve been, but still really good. The café itself has a nice vibe and feels like a comfortable place to hang out or get some work done. The blonde girl who served us was super friendly, which made the experience even nicer. Overall, we had a great time there.

Coffee was just ok but that’s not the most important thing ( I know how hard is to craft this artisanal product and how much work goes behind it ) the Pastries were great ! 5 people were working, probably over staffed by 3 of them. Despite that the energy was low. Our table was dirty and so also many other tables the cup from which we drunk was dirty.. no interaction, no Hi when walked in no Bye when we left.. just 5 people putting in their lowest effort… unfortunately…

Great coffeeshop, i liked that you get a glass of water when you order coffee. We also got to sit outside but then moved inside due to the weather. But we managed to get a place inside cause it could get really crowded, but great service and good atmosphere would go again to buy coffee.

Had two flat white. Both single origin and had different characters. Single estate is a very spacious cafe and the baristas are very friendly and helpful. Needless to say the coffees are great.

A cosy cafe with an elaborate menu. Courteous service and splendid ambience. Lost track of time. The drinks and food are decent. I tried the nachos which were average however they came in a good quantity. The place is spacious and didn't feel cramped up.

Nice local pub. Only Heineken draft beer. No snacks at all. But the atmosphere was great. There is 2 tv screening football games. Also you have darts and snooker.

Usually it’s my favorite place. I bring all my friends there and we are usually having a great time. Especially because it’s very quiet. This time though I came with 2 friends and we asked for some tan water, in the end they billed us 2€ for it. Ice cream shops are becoming trendy these days in The Netherlands .. People are hanging out together for ice cream or cup of coffee .. Ijs & Zo is just opened and I went with friends to try it out .. The staff are very friendly.. But to be honest the ice cream scoop was very small in comparison with other ice cream shops in Delft and the taste was not really spectacular .. I always order pistachio at ice cream shops even when I am traveling the world ! from pistachio you can tell if the taste are real or not.. Zo I give "Ijs & zo" only 3 stars just for the smiling and welcoming of the staff. Hopefully they fix the portion for a little more and the real taste in the near future.. I'll give them another chance soon!

A lovely Greek bar/cocktail place that recently opened in Delft. The owner Yannis is very polite and he's super fun to chat with. I had a Hendricks gin with 3 cents tonic and my friend ordered a mai tai. We both really enjoyed our drinks and our chat with Yannis. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to try any of their food, hopefully next time! UPDATE: Now that I'm a regular at their place, it's about time I post an update. They have live music and dj at night. It's one of the few places open and alive at night in Delft. Yannis and Thanos are such generous, and helpful hosts, making sure everyone enjoys their drinks and their time at John's Rabbit. Highly recommend!!

We were here on our Netherlands Roadtrip and had a cozy evening here. The bartender was really nice and gave us some great Tips for our next stops of our Roadtrip. It was kinda empty in there but it was out of season and besides this it we hat great cocktails.

I appreciate their nice and welcoming behavior toward us. We spent an amazing time in this bar and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to celebrate a special event in their bar.
