Saltburn Pier is a historic iron pier located in Saltburn, facing the North Sea. Recently restored to its former glory, it offers stunning views and a great walking experience along its 200-meter stretch. As the northernmost pier of its kind in Great Britain, it holds historical significance as the first iron pier on the North East Coast. Visitors can also enjoy Seldon's Leisureworld inside the pier building, featuring classic amusement games and modern arcade entertainment.
The last remaining pier in North Yorkshire apparently. Great beaches and cliffs either side and lots of bird life and dog friendly. Saltburn also has one of the last remaining water powered funicular tramways in the UK to transport people from town to the seafront without tackling all the steps. Well worth a visit.
Kurt P — Google review
It is a place that offers a beautiful and scenic experience from the beach. With stunning views of the coastline, various entertainment and restaurants, it is the perfect place for a relaxing walk or a fun day with family and friends. The range of activities at the pier and Cliff Tamway also make it a great place to visit. Overall, a beautiful mix of seaside charm and entertainment.
Princy — Google review
The allure of a truly beautiful beach is undeniable, a sanctuary where the world's chaos fades into the gentle rhythm of the waves. Imagine soft, powdery sands, warm beneath your feet, stretching out to meet the shimmering, turquoise embrace of the sea. I love it 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Sda R — Google review
Ideal for young families. Good stretch of beach, dog friendly. Wee cafe and restaurants. Usual fish and chips and arcade. Pier loverly and fenicular railway wonderful if working. Only downside getting up and down steps to beach.
Iain C — Google review
A beautiful scenery of the coastline. Here is a solo trip itinerary: Put saltburn pier in your sat nav to get to the car park (pay and display) download ring go as the machines are fussy Walk round the beach. Get wet if you want to. Take it all in 🧘‍♀️ There is the arcade thing which was very exciting for a first timer like me :) barely won anything but still lots of fun playing. There is a cash machine inside so don’t worry if you don’t have cash on you. The food—-I had fish and chips duuuh 🤪 at the seaview restaurant. The views are absolutely worth it but there are other chippy places nearby so you can buy and sit on one of the many benches and enjoy it that way. Please have an ice cream as a dessert it’s just amazing plus you deserve it. Oh there is also Tomahawk steak house nearby with great views so if you fancied something else other than fish and chips Dog friendly Child friendly There is the famous old cliff tramway whi ch was pretty cool if you ask me. £2 for one way. Do it! You know you want to. Other things: -rent a wetsuit -surf school 🏄‍♂️ -Fishing -watch the sunset -people watching -take selfies -chat to random strangers Etc
Binta S — Google review
A gorgeous old pier, and magnificent views from the end. A nice walk down and ample seats to rest and take in the sea air.
Charlie P — Google review
The pier looks pretty cool and goes quite a way out into the sea. Although once you get to the end, it's just full of fishermen taking up all the room with their gear and rods. Surely give them a start time of 6pm to allow tourists and people fancying a quiet walk or some photo taking, clear room to do that. That always spoils it for me. Also the arcade that you walk through or around to get to the pier is another ticket induced nightmare. There's a machine that charges you £1 for Pokémon cards, then gives you one card, imagine a childs disappointment when that happens. There's also never any money tubs, here's some money bags to hold your change in, just isn't the same.
Damian G — Google review
It's a fairly ordinary pier, but we all love a pier, right?

Tramways
Saltburn Cliff Tramway, established in 1884, is a renowned landmark featuring stained glass windows and offering scenic rides with stunning views of the sea. It holds the distinction of being Britain's oldest water-balanced funicular railway still in operation and the sole remaining pleasure pier on the North East and Yorkshire coast. Visitors can't afford to miss this iconic attraction while in town.
Saltburn Cliff Tramway – really nice to watch from outside and try it by myself. Visited on Saturday and it was rainy day, so needed to wait around 5-10 minutes in the queue to try this experience with one of the oldest water-powered funiculars still operating. The ride took around 1 minute and we were 12 persons and 1 dog inside of funicular. The staff were friendly and created a great experience. Worth to try!
Elena G — Google review
What a wonderful experience! I’ve wanted to visit for many years, having been told stories about my family visiting 50+ years ago. It was a real bucket list item for me, and I’m so glad I’ve ridden on the tramway! Brilliant, friendly staff - very reasonable price for such a unique experience too - I’d highly recommend visiting and taking a ride in this piece of living history. My only ‘negative’ if you could call it that, was the lovely merchandise in the bottom entrance; after payment, there was a tram car waiting, so didn’t have time to purchase or properly look at the souvenirs, but I’ll make sure to ask for extra time for a browse next time (they had some gorgeous art prints). A brilliant experience through and through, I can’t wait to visit again. I felt like a big kid!
Charlie P — Google review
Saltburn cliff tramway is wonderful. Opened June 1884. 120 feet tall, 207feet of track. Carry’s 12 per car. What a gem of a place any town can have. Staff super friendly
Andrew W — Google review
Saltburn Cliff Tramway We like it and its always a fun way to travel especially with all your beach gear and children, however it is only a very short journey, 120ft in 55 seconds. So £6 for a family ticket down then £6 for a family ticket up, that's £12, way more than it costs to park the car for the day. For that reason I'd recommend £1 for adults/children, family tickets for £4, with pets free, but that's just me. However, it is a nice experience and a lovely memory, with vast views and it also does look pretty great watching the trams going up and down. The gents are always happy and polite and eager to chat about the history of the tram or just chat in general, so you don't mind paying a little extra. For future visits, I would have a happy hour, 50p travel between the hours of 1-2pm, off peak charges and also introduce ticket stubs for the children to hold and keep as momentos. Also my missus wouldn't let me ask if we identified as dogs would we only have to pay 80p 😂
Damian G — Google review
A must for any visit to Saltburn! You can walk up and down the steps to get from the beach/pier to town but the funicular is much more fun! Saltburn town has some lovely indie shops and cafes in some stunning Victorian shop buildings.
Leigh B — Google review
Interesting technology, amazing it's still going! Worth a trip at least upwards, great views of the sea, and atmospheric old carriages. Fair value at £2 each way, and friendly staff. However the queue at the bottom can be long in the sun, they really should provide a bit of cover and a seat or two for older people.
Stephen P — Google review
This is my second time be Saltburn, beautiful seaside, last time should be ten years ago, bring children down to the beach on the same Tram, great memories! Very good staffs ! Thank you Peter!

We visited Saltburn Cliff Tramway on Monday, 30th June 2025. The Cliff Tramway is a must for anyone visiting Saltburn. It is a fabulous experience and is well worth the £2 per person each way. It is along the walk-up to the Cliff top. The staff are wonderful, pleasant, and smart.

Saltburn Miniature Railway is a charming 15" gauge railway that has been in operation since 1947. The line takes passengers from the seafront through the Valley Gardens to various attractions, including the Italian Gardens, Tea Lawn, and Woodland Centre. One of its notable locomotives is 'Prince Charles', which was introduced in 1953.
Fantastic little railway that’s a fun short journey through Valley Gardens. We visited with family to see Santa. What a wonderfully organised event, with friendly and enthusiastic volunteers. It began at the station where we were greeted my elf’s, then a train ride to the grotto in valley gardens, refreshments, saw Santa and then the train back.
Melanie H — Google review
It was a great experience; the kids will definitely love this activity. All the staff were wonderful, full of smiles, and very willing to assist the visitors.
W.L W — Google review
This is a fantastic little train ride for train lovers and kids alike. It doesn't last long, but it's a beautiful, scenic journey through the park, and it's an absolute bargain at £3 return for adults. I enjoyed taking the train to the end and walking back through the woods. This railway is run by volunteers who are lovely and friendly, and you can really feel their love for this delightful little railway. This is definitely a must visit for any family during their trip to Saltburn.

Nice way to get from tea rooms to the beach. Nice friendly people and great views down the valley
Stephen L — Google review
What a fab little train ride as a family of 4 and a dog! We loved it. The staff were so helpful and friendly and we would like to say a huge thank you to Brian who took lots of lovely photos of us x
Nicola W — Google review
Lovely little train, staff were really friendly and the scenery was lovely. Even though there was an issue with one of the trains the volunteers kept us informed and we was up and running in no time.
John E — Google review
Great fun little activity to do with children. Staff were great and it’s really well run. It’s only a short train ride (about 20 mins out and back) but very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend doing if you are in the area.

Breakfast restaurant
Located in Saltburn-By-The-Sea, Signals Cafe + Bar offers a casual dining experience with the option to take away food in a convenient box for beachside enjoyment. The panko chicken sweet chili bao buns are particularly popular on sunny days. Additionally, Real Meals provides a Mediterranean-inspired deli experience with artisan groceries available for purchase alongside dine-in tables. The menu features a wide range of drinks, sandwiches, smoothie bowls, fries, and cakes, including lush hot chocolates.
First time in Saltburn and wanted somewhere we could take the dog. Had breakfast and sat outside, whilst the menu is not huge what we had was amazing. Banana bread with honey & greek yoghurt, and a full English. Service was great, super friendly. So nice we went back for lunch, meatball sub and a nourish bowl, again absolutely amazing. Atmosphere is lovely, we hope to be back soon, such a lovely town
Claire A — Google review
Very expensive, when you charge this much you have to have perfection. This was anything but perfect. While it’s photogenic, edible it isn’t. The place was cold, everyone was sat in their coats. The breakfast was not hot, more lukewarm to some items being cold . Egg overcooked, sausage skin so hard it was like leather. The scrambled egg and smoked salmon, the salmon was inedible and I had to spit out the salmon. There was so much sinew in there it was impossible to chew. No one at anytime asked how the meal was. We waited and tied to catch a waiters attention but to no avail. We left very disappointed having spent £32 for two people for below average food.
Sue S — Google review
Food and drinks were delicious and the service was great. The atmosphere was very cute and chill.
Jodie S — Google review
Overall we got great food, but felt put on the spot by one employee. Been Signals a fair few times in the past and always had fantastic food and fantastic service. Today, we had one of our childs bike so decided to sit outside. Saw the sign outside that there was an app, which I always like to use technology, and bonus a discount for using it. The sign said scan the QR code. This I found on the tables inside, so scanned it and there was an option to change table number. The tables outside didn't have the numbers on, but there was only one other table occupied so picked a number. Our drinks were brought out by one lady all fine, fantastic coffee. Our food than came out by a different lady, who straightaway confronted us by saying "can I ask, how did you order on the app outside". I explained I chose a different table. They continued saying that there isn't QR codes outside so they don't know whose ordering. We explained the options of outside tables are on the app, so if not allowed need removing or adding table numbers. Unfortunately it continued with comments making us feel we were in the wrong for using the app, or maybe for being outside in the rain by choice. This experience was the first time we'd experienced this at Signals but has put a dampener on feelings.
Tom H — Google review
The food was excellent and everything was well presented. The banana bread and yoghurt was delightful. Definitely recommend.
Lennox L — Google review
Went on Sunday around midday for the first time after seeing online how gorgeous the place looked. We sat upstairs which had a good atmosphere and there was a nice variety of food on the menu. My boyfriend ordered the burger and I had a sandwich. Unfortunately, the food was really disappointing – the burger was clearly frozen, tasteless, and not what you’d expect, and even the sandwich wasn’t enjoyable, which is hard to get wrong. We ended up leaving having hardly touched our food, which was such a letdown as we had high hopes.
Molly D — Google review
Food is absolutely beautiful, beautiful presentation and lovely friendly staff very relaxed atmosphere

We often go for coffee but today we had the flat breads with chicken as a brunch after attending church on Sunday .the food was delightful. Beautifully presented and very tasty. staff are lovely , give it a try if you are in the area . Coffee particularly the cappuccino is gorgeous

Country park
Nestled in the charming coastal town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Saltburn Valley Country Park is a delightful escape for nature lovers and families alike. This picturesque park features lush woodlands, beautifully landscaped Italian Gardens, and a community garden that invites exploration. With its wide, accessible paths, it's perfect for leisurely strolls or family outings.
Great country park which is full of nature for an awesome walk. Perfect in all seasons specially spring, autumn & summer. Plenty of green space for kids to run around, a play ground, a mini train, victorian tearoom to stop for cuppa tea, Italian gardens to admire and plenty of nature to enjoy. A lot of stair ways going up down for good exercise and stretch. Beach is round the corner.
Win T — Google review
The walks within the gardens are worth the visit, plus the tea room and the fish and chips along the shoreline, great views and surroundings and a great place to walk your dog.
Peter H — Google review
What a glorious little valley park and steam railway. Had a lovely walk including the Victorian Kitchen/Cafe at the end of the line. A stream, parks and gardens was lovely to walk through. A little oasis in Saltburn.
Chris L — Google review
Lovely walk to the tea rooms great selection of sandwichesand cakes . Tearooms only take cash. Nice walk round the park
Rachel C — Google review
Wonderful mini-train ride through the park then a short, uphill walk to a lovely tea room that serves homemade sandwiches, cakes etc. Tea room is cash only though due to a lack of internet signal so make sure you have £££'s on you! Would highly recommend.
David M — Google review
One of the best short trips. Was a beautiful day!
Aaditya P — Google review
Bring cash! No WiFi. Scrumptious cake. Friendly staff. Hot drinks. Decadent hot chocolate. Head into the mysterious valley gardens and discover this cafe nestled between the trees. We didn't realise a card couldn't be used so we had to raid the pennies. A great addition to a stroll through the woods and gardens

Saltburn Beach is a must-visit attraction in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, known for its stunning pier, golden sands, and clear waters. It's a popular surf spot along the North Yorkshire coast, offering an exciting experience for tourists. For those seeking a more tranquil visit, the soft sands provide a relaxing setting to unwind. Visitors can also explore the local shops and establishments situated on the seafront and cliff top promenade for a well-rounded day by the coast.
A Truly Magical Spot Saltburn Beach is a truly magical place in every sense of the word. When I visited, there wasn’t much obvious tourist activity, but that only added to its charm. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, with beautifully maintained walkways, blooming flowers, and a clean, elegant promenade. The sand is soft and pleasant to walk on, perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. There’s free parking available on the main street, which is convenient, though reaching the beach requires descending a long set of stairs. That said, the walk down is very much part of the experience—it offers lovely views and makes the visit feel even more rewarding.
Syruk — Google review
A lovely Victorian seaside town left a little behind in the modern world (not in a good way). An excellent pier but the front is dominated by tatty outlets and a tiny amusement arcade. The saving grace is the beautiful counterbalanced lifting mechanism down to the beach, to avoid the short but steep walk.
Will H — Google review
A sea resort as they ones were. Saltburn beach is inviting and has a lot to offer for all ages. The Victorian ‘trams’ that take you up and or down to the beach, are a nice feature. Whilst we were the place was busy, but not to busy. A nice place to spend a day or two. Great places where they serve good coffees and good ice creams.
Hans R — Google review
Beautiful small quaint seaside town. Visited in September and it was fairly quiet. Theres a slot machine arcade on the pier and cliff side tramway. If like landscape scenery and architecture it is a lovely place to sit and draw, paint or take photos. Plenty of places to eat and drink.
Lesley M — Google review
Had a walk to the end of the pier before catching the marvellous funicular up into town. The pier building and the pier itself are fab. Such a treat that they’re still there and in good condition.
Leigh B — Google review
Beautiful beach, had a little pool under the pier and helped when building our sand castles and playing on the beach. You will need cash as all the shops on the beach front only accept cash!
Alexander G — Google review
Really lovely beach! Very untouched by tourism and very traditional! Take cash as most of the shops on the beachfront don’t take cards! Plenty of parking but recommend get there early to get parked!
Lucy P — Google review
First time here, and the weather was perfect for us to enjoy this beautiful seaside place. Free parking on street, at the top of the famous funicular. Delightful beach, which is framed by an elegant pier. The Ship Inn was also a lovely pub.

With 19 creatively designed courses, it offers just the right level of challenge for players of all ages. After your game, indulge in delicious food and drinks at their spacious dining area that boasts great decor and ample ventilation—perfect for unwinding after some friendly competition.
Hidden gem. The golf is what you expect. Quite enjoyable way to pass the time. With 4 picky eaters, it's not often we all enjoy our food as much as we did here. Large breakfast (without tomatoes - yuk!), comes with tea or coffee, they came and apologised as they forgot to bring the toast out, but mistakes happen. Chicken madras, pepperoni parmo and spaghetti and meatballs, all throughly enjoyed by everyone! Came to £55, with an extra portion of chips, 2 soft drinks and an extra cup of tea and They even have a pack of Uno cards that the grown up kids enjoyed playing very much. Went on a Wednesday and the domino players in the corner were highly entertaining, singing Queen and Lady Gaga, they also referred to Christmas as the 'C' word. 🤣 Nice laid back atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for the food alone.

We had a fantastic time at Holley Moley family crazy golf! The staff were super friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. The complex itself was really fun with lots of creative courses to play through, keeping both the adults and kids entertained. We also loved the food—no complaints from Nina and Lettie, who both thought it was delicious. Overall, a great family day out!

Love this place, They're so patient with my kids and don't shout at them for being kids. Hawkstone on draft is incredible too, the food is great, atmosphere is perfect. It's nice to get out and socialise and have the kids not be an issue. Perfect family place and honestly, I've only ever had a decent time here. I look forward to every time I come back. Perfect location, very fair pricing. Can't beat it!

We loved our visit.. fantastic food at a great price . The golf was fun .Indoors so great for any weather . The golf course is getting a revamp excited to return for our next visit.... some holes are so difficult so keep smiling and adding on those points lol .

Been over today as a family group of 8. Christina, Ebony and the Kitchen Team were absolutely fantastic, totally went above and beyond to accommodate us and Mams' Assistance Dog. Food was absolutely spot on, enjoyed a few games of Pool and loved the Golf. So easy to get around and we all had fun, except #16. Will be back again, thank you so much again.

We come here for the Sunday pub quiz. Always good. Bar staff are fun, and the room itself is large with lots of tables for teams to sit at. Like all pubs prices are increasing and it's definitely not cheap, but I've seen worse. Drinks are better value for money than the snacks. Location is big and always nice. Loos are clean too.

Went in for mini golf on a date with my partner Pros: - no waiting time for golf - decent price!! £11.80 for two adults - 19 course golf - food was amazing after, great price for drinks and food - entertainment and spacious dining room - very ventilated and quiet golf session - decent difficulty for golf - good decor - spaces available for live shows Cons: - quite noisy while dining, however this was due to construction - rather small toilets Otherwise, no other cons!! It was a great date.

Performing arts theater
If you're looking for a unique evening experience in Saltburn, the Saltburn Community & Arts Association Ltd is an absolute gem. This charming venue hosts a variety of performances, including theatre, comedy, and music, making it a cultural hotspot. The architecture of the building itself is stunning and worth admiring even if you’re just passing by. The intimate setting creates a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for local talent to shine—whether it's actors or musicians.
So fortunate to have this theatre and such good productions and actors. 'Scrooge' was yet another very enjoyable production with some new looking faces whom we hope we will see more of in the future. Several times I thought the pantomime was near the end to be surprised by yet another reprisal 😲. It must have been over 2 hours in length and for the ticket price must be unsurpassed. 😊

Brilliant small theatre where I was sat I had a really good view plenty of leg room and the seats were more spacious and comfortable than I expected great concert on a Sunday afternoon (southmartins) first time we've been looking forward to our next visit

The annual event with the Saltburn Smugglers. Craft beer, Mulled wine, Carols and a bit of a singsong with the smugglers.
Paul R — Google review
Brilliant venue superb acoustics and comfortable seating, let down only by a fairly small bar area. Cosy, though an intimate setting in an ironic building with friendly and helpful staff. Theatre and community hall serves the public well across a wide range of events.
Richard D — Google review
Good place to watch a band, friendly staff and very reasonable drink prices.
Ron K — Google review
A great venue! Not huge but perfect for the show we went to see, and I'd imagine it is great for local acting groups and musicians. Seats are more spacious than I expected given the size of the place, and staff/volunteers were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely consider coming back to see more productions here. If this review has been helpful, please give it a thumbs up 👍

Saltburn Leisure Centre offers a variety of activities for everyone. Visitors can explore individual shops selling crafts, clothes, artisan foods, and pastries. Chocolinis is a must-visit for handcrafted chocolates made on-site, including unique creations like chocolate fish and chips and Star Wars-themed treats. The Sports Hall provides space for badminton enthusiasts, although it may get warm due to the heating system. The center also features a pool with ample changing facilities and friendly staff ensuring safety during the pandemic.
Been pushing iron since that hot summer of 76 so great local gym for a Saltburn old boy, desk staff and gym staff are an asset to the company and very helpful. No complaints at all on my watch!!
STEVO — Google review
Just joined. Mainly to use the gym weights but need to wait until new staff arrive. Meanwhile I've done one class which was great. I booked 3 more as it's so easy on the app. Staff have been very helpful.

Good selection of equipment (always pre-clean before use), although some of it is a bit dated/worn (cardio especially). Very friendly and helpful staff, solid WiFi, changing areas and storage lockers are good. Spacious parking lot, however, beware of the Parking Eye potential fine charges (£60 to £100) - register your vehicle upon entry, ask staff to add your vehicle to their database and add your vehicle registration to your Everyone Active app.

Great service in Memberships from Claire. She went above and beyond to get us the best deal for the family. Top marks, given I called at the end of the day (and it was her birthday). Thank you 👍
Damian S — Google review
Paid for parking not knowing we didn’t need to. Nothing on the sign about the leisure centre that we saw. No family change so we had to unpack the bag in the corridor and decide who was having the baby, who was having the toiletries etc. There is insufficient space to change babies and the facilities weren’t particularly clean. Had to go out into the corridor in a towel to pass the baby back to dad and swap for toiletries when we were done so I could shower. Showers were scoldingly hot so couldn’t wash off the baby and it damaged my hair. Won’t be making an off the cuff visit again when visiting family. Staff were lovely and let us worry about registering after our swim.

The centre is nice but the parking could cost you with having parking eye there, not the leisure centres fault, totally the cricket clubs doing - horrible people. I forgot to sign in my car when parking in the car park which the leisure centre uses, only remembered on the way out and the receptionist said it should be ok. With me having a lease car (which I have to have for work purposes) the other problem is if I am fined incorrectly, the lease company pay your fine and then charges you for doing this (to prevent the payment getting higher if it's paid in 2 weeks) so if there is a problem it can be costly.

Lovely beaches and clear weather , nice places to visit

Had to amend review from 4 to 3 stars unfortunately. Still a fantastic gym with lovely staff but noticing more lads jumping over the barriers and not paying for access when a lot us are being charged upwards of £30 a month. Also seem like more school kids are being let in unsupervised too and basically running around like it's a nursery, wasting time on machines and getting in the way. Not ideal to be honest.

Saltburn Valley Woodland Centre is a charming destination for families, featuring a 15" gauge miniature railway that takes visitors from the seafront through the picturesque Valley Gardens to the Italian Gardens, Tea Lawn, and Woodland Centre. The railway has a rich history dating back to 1947 and offers rides on the locomotive 'Prince Charles'. The site also boasts a children's play area, beautiful flower gardens, and opportunities for leisurely walks through the woods.
Gorgeous gardens. Great visit, parking is ok god so sit and have a relaxing afternoon

Lovely spot, even in winter. Very well kept. Local cafe welcoming but restricted opening hours. Cash only as no internet access . Local volunteers excellent.

Fantastic place to visit for all the family. There is a car park at the bottom but you need to pay for it, however, if you can park at the top it is free, but spaces fill quickly on busy days. There is plenty of walks through the gardens but some of the paths are steep but accessible for most people. There is a lovely small railway, a children's play area and a stream to paddle in, well worth a visit.

Charming Garden area with many interesting features within the larger Valley Gardens area!!

A great day out, Although the woods are not the largest the walk through them is idilic the Italian gardens are a delight. The beach is a good follow on with the victorian pier lift and friendly atmosphere

Loved the flower garden and the railway viaduct...very impressive! Grahamelectrics@gmail.com

The garden's beautiful. Not too formal. Lots of interesting and colourful flowers and plants. Usually a squirrel or two around. Often a good place to listen to birdsong.

Lovely walk through beautiful countryside, with a small tea rooms to serve you with hot drinks, plenty of resting places and lots of photographic opportunities.

The Play Factory Skelton is a top attraction in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, offering an exceptional soft play experience. Visitors praise the clean and well-maintained equipment, which includes numerous slides, cargo nets, tunnels, sports courts, and a toddler area with sensory activities. The facility also features a ball firing machine and clean restroom facilities. It's a must-visit for families looking for an enjoyable indoor playground experience in the area.
Love this soft play my favourite for miles around, always seems very clean, and the gated baby area is amazing!! Feel safe letting my baby have a crawl and explore without worrying about big kids coming in. Coffee is nice too Xx

Just started going with my daughter and grandson. It's amazing, food is beautiful, staff are very friendly and eager to help. Only one thing I would change, Hope you don't mind me saying, the baby changing tables in the toilets are too high up. All in all a great place to take the kids
Jackie F — Google review
Visited Play Factory as a tourist with my children. We were asked to create an account and leave personal details, which I didn’t feel was necessary for a short visit. The price is quite high for less than 2 hours. Booking in advance is recommended, but I wish there was an option for one-time visitors without having to share personal information. Never will go back unfortunately.
Nora V — Google review
The best soft play I've been to! The equipment is all clean and well maintained (think I could only see scuffs on one piece of kit which is a million times better than I'm used to seeing - it looks really new). There's so many different bits to it, think 7 slides, cargo nets, tunnels, two sports courts, very good toddler area with sensory things and a ball firing machine. Toilets were all clean as well. The food was good, they said there would be a wait and after that amount of time the food turned up. Have a look at the specials (the parmo wrap was really good) which also has healthier things like soup on. The sandwiches all looked good and well filled (but not all with sandwich filler but 'real' fillings). All the staff were really friendly/helpful and there was a lovely lady doing the rounds on the tables to make sure it was all clean etc. Will definitely be coming back when we're back in the area as our 2.5yr old loved it and could have spent even longer there given how much there was to do and even though it was busy there was plenty of space for the kids. Brilliant!

Very expensive! However the staff were good. Nothing flash and not worth the money! As you won’t let me reply on my original post above or on your patronising post- I will clearly state it was EXPENSIVE and not worth the money. Nothing to do with any dog, babysitting or anything else at all. I feel your childish bitchy response unprofessional. Any further nasty comments made towards me or aimed at me will be reported to the police. 😊

Awesome, lots of activities here and the food is great also Edited - wish the electric cars were still there the cars made this play area stand out from the others shame the cars are gone

Came here when I was a kid and I’m now 23 and brought my daughter for her 5th birthday and it was still just as fun the kids loved it and we had a parmo with chips and garlic and it was Beautiful I Will definitely go back there’s lots to do for all ages the sensory cave was amazing aswell i highly recommend visiting
Anna R — Google review
I've been to a fair few soft plays since the kids came along and I loved this one. It's a big-ish one with a go kart track (for an additional £1 per child rider), a small football pitch and lots of different size play areas for kids. Food offerings are good, although the sandwich I had off the board wasn't really what I ordered (chicken, stuffing and cranberry - no stuffing and more cranberry than chicken, but the chips are delicious). We rearranged a bunch of tables to accommodate our party and a sleeping child, and staff were fine with it. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a bit on the expensive side (£11.90 for a 1yr old and a 3yr old) but I'd consider visiting again.
