Nestled in the heart of Yuma, Arizona, Colorado River State Historic Park offers a fascinating glimpse into the region's military past. Once serving as an army depot, this park showcases a collection of meticulously restored buildings that house exhibits detailing the area's rich history. Visitors can immerse themselves in stories from the 1870s when goods were transported along the Colorado River to support frontier forts.
This historic park is truly a MUST-SEE destination for anyone interested in culture, heritage, or simply experiencing something unique. With a general admission fee of just $10, it offers an incredible value for the amount of history and atmosphere you’ll encounter. You’ll have the option to explore at your own pace, wandering through the grounds, taking in the architecture, and imagining what life was like more than a century ago. But if you really want the past to come alive, we highly recommend joining a guided tour with Jay, one of the park’s most knowledgeable and engaging guides. Jay has a remarkable way of weaving stories, details, and fascinating facts together so that every corner and building feels alive with history. Walking through the park is like stepping straight into the early 1900s. The preserved buildings, authentic details, and immersive atmosphere transport you to another era, giving you a glimpse of daily life from over a hundred years ago. Whether you’re a history buff, a curious traveler, or simply looking for a memorable outing, this park delivers an experience you won’t forget.

Visited on 6/20/24. Place was pretty empty as it was a scorcher that day but my family still enjoyed it! The ranger at the front desk was so helpful and informative! Would love to visit again during cooler weather!

Fabulous park full of wonderful artifacts, beautiful landscape, well preserved. Exhibits are spacious and clearly written. Sidewalks are easy to navigate. Shop is delightful and so is Nicole!

Also known as the quarter master depot. Gives you more history on the Yuma area and the Colorado river. Worth a visit. Can walk through it fairly quick. I would do this the same day you do the prison. Both don't take long unless you want it to.

Great place for picnics .. sun bathing .. river water activities .. you can spend an afternoon here .. or while your stay at the hotel .. perhaps taking a walk until your car finish charging

We found this by accident walking the gateway path and it was a great surprise! We paid $10 to get in and learned all about the quartermaster who lived there and how they created the Siphon. I highly recommend checking this out if you are in the area!

Nestled in the heart of Yuma, Arizona, the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park is a fascinating glimpse into the past. Established in 1876, this former prison has transformed into an engaging museum that showcases its storied history through preserved ruins and informative exhibits. Visitors can wander through stone-walled cells, explore the remnants of prison buildings, and pay their respects at the cemetery. The park also features a visitor center with interpretive panels and a lovely cactus garden to enjoy.
Neat history and info. Most of the buildings are no longer there but there are still some cell blocks, gate, museum, library, yard and other things to see. Worth a stop if you're in the area. Museum has a lot of info and the gift shop employees are friendly and helpful.

Said to be one of the most haunted destinations in Yuma, Arizona, we found the prison to be fun for the whole family. It is educational, historical and full of surprises. Prices are $10 per adult and $5 perchild, free parking. There is an indoor museum and an outdoor interactive Prison setting. There is also a dark cave (with bats you can actually see) and plenty of photo ops. We loved that there was a shaded space for a picnic should you chose to bring a lunch. Staff is welcoming, friendly and informative and we would highly recommend this tourist attraction.
Natalie R — Google review
I loved the history here! I spent almost two hours here and I would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the heat! There's so much to read and interact with as you learn about this historical place. Mike, the staff member inside the museum, was great to talk to and knowledgeable. I was able to comfortably geek-out on the history and enjoy myself. Highly recommend
Demetri — Google review
My wife and I, along with a few friends, visited the Yuma Territorial Prison Historical State Park on October 3rd, 2025, and we absolutely loved it. The museum is packed with fascinating history about the prison, its prisoners, and the many stories that shaped this place. You can really feel the weight of the past as you walk through the old cells and read about the people who once lived here. The exhibits are well organized, informative, and engaging — it’s easy to spend a couple of hours exploring everything. The staff were friendly and clearly passionate about preserving the history of the prison. The views of the Colorado River from the grounds are also beautiful and worth taking in before you leave. Overall, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Yuma. A great mix of history, atmosphere, and storytelling!

Took our horses and everyone on the trail was respectful to each other. Lose dogs we're extremely well mannered, no issues with dogs or children. Beautiful trails and a great sot to take the horses to explore the natural habitat of Yuma county.

Very nice! Well keeped grounds. If you are going through Yuma, a must stop! You can spend an hour or more, well worth the time.

Fun place to take the kids at the right time of the year. We went in the middle of October. Easy access for the kids to go out and play. Water went about 3 ft deep going across.

Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park is a must-see for history buffs and anyone looking for a unique and interesting experience. The prison, which was in operation from 1876 to 1909, housed some of the most notorious criminals of the Wild West. The prison is exceptionally well-preserved, and visitors can explore the cell blocks, guard tower, and other buildings. The museum on site offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the prisoners and the history of the prison. Here are some of the highlights of my visit: * The cells: The cells are small and cramped, and it's easy to imagine what it must have been like to be confined in one of them. * The guard tower: The guard tower offers a great view of the surrounding area, and it's easy to see how the guards were able to keep an eye on the prisoners. * The museum: The museum is full of interesting exhibits about the history of the prison and the lives of the prisoners. Overall, I highly recommend Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park. It's a fascinating and informative place to visit, and it's a great way to learn about the history of the Wild West. Here are some additional tips for visiting the park: * Allow plenty of time: There is a lot to see and do at the park, so allow at least 2-3 hours for your visit. * Wear comfortable shoes: You'll be doing a lot of walking, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. * Bring water: It can get hot in Yuma, so make sure you bring water to stay hydrated. * Take the guided tour: The guided tour is a great way to learn more about the history of the prison. I hope you enjoy your visit to Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park!

West Wetlands Park is a sprawling 110-acre riverfront oasis located in Yuma, Arizona, along the Colorado River. It offers a range of recreational activities including playgrounds, multi-use trails, grassy areas for sports, and a picturesque pond. The park also features a Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden, an Owl Habitat, equestrian trails, disc-golf courses, and boating opportunities.
A beautiful park that's well maintained with a lovely pond full of happy ducks when we visited. The highlight though is absolutely the children's creative play area with an incredible huge castle play area that our toddler loved. It had so much to explore we could have spent hours and hours there! Definitely a great place to stop and let a kid run around and play for a while.
Erica S — Google review
A beautiful sprawling park on the shores of the Colorado River near downtown Yuma. There are plenty of easy walking trails, bike paths, and covered picnic areas. We sat my the pond and watched the duck, geese, and egrets while eating lunch. Plenty for the kids to enjoy.
John — Google review
West Wetlands Park is one of Yuma’s treasures, a wide stretch of green space that feels like a blessing in the desert. Set along the Colorado River, it brings together trails, ponds, and playgrounds in a way that makes it perfect for families, couples, or anyone just wanting a quiet walk under open skies. The pond at the center is alive with ducks and birds, and it’s a peaceful place to sit and watch the water. Trails wind through the park, some shaded by trees, others opening up to river views that remind you of just how much life the water gives to this part of Arizona. Kids have plenty of room to run, from the castle-style playground to open fields, and the butterfly and hummingbird garden adds a touch of beauty that makes the park even more unique. What makes West Wetlands Park special is how it balances activity and rest. You can spend the day picnicking, fishing, or flying a kite, or you can simply find a bench and let the sound of the river calm your spirit. It’s a place that invites you to breathe, slow down, and appreciate Yuma in a deeper way. Grateful Traveler’s Note

You really can't help but come back to this park. It's quiet, clean, and you can make lots of new friends. Of course, you still need to be careful, especially with the animals that live here, and above all, follow the regulations that apply to this park to maintain order and cleanliness.

Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens is a must-visit attraction that offers a glimpse into the life of a prominent local family in the late 19th century. The museum features well-maintained gardens and various outdoor attractions, including etched granite panels depicting world history, a pyramid marking the Center of the World, a French-style chapel, and more.
Dave was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. The tour itself was a little more than 70 minutes, well paced, and quite informative. Would highly recommend the guided walking tour and perusing the museum for a bit of Yuma history.

Gateway Park is a riverside beach park located in Yuma, offering a perfect escape from the city's eternal summer. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as fishing, swimming, water sports, and picnicking under large pavilions. The park also boasts a playground for children and offers an ideal vantage point for observing the iconic Ocean To Ocean Bridge.
I loved it! It was such a pretty day! Great place for family picnics and you can play in the water.

Clean beach cool water. Easy parking. 100 year old bridges A lot of rail traffic. This place has much history. Museums nearby. Five stars cause it deserves It... not because it's luxury.
Terry B — Google review
Nice place to swim in the river and have a picnic/cookout. There are many nice walking trails along the river.
Pamela K — Google review
Gateway Park sits right on the edge of the Colorado River and feels like Yuma’s front porch. You can walk along the water, dip your feet in, or just sit back and watch the river roll by. The bridge overhead gives it a bit of character, and the sound of the water mixed with the chatter of families and travelers makes it feel alive. It’s a great spot to cool off, especially when the weather hits that summer heat. There’s plenty of shade, picnic tables, and trails that stretch out along the river. You’ll see locals fishing, kids splashing, and people just slowing down for a bit. What I love most about Gateway Park is how it ties the town to the river. It’s simple, calm, and real, the kind of place that reminds you why the desert and the water belong together. Grateful Traveler’s Note 🌿

Took my One year old daughter to the park and she has the best time. Her love for Nature grows more and more as we play and run through the open field. She loves to gaze upon the big trees that are scattered throughout the park. Weather is getting much cooler so the fun times are definitely rolling!
Dallas B — Google review
This is by far a gym in Yuma. It almost doesn’t seem like it belongs here with the beautiful part of the river running through it, all the greenery, a hiking or biking path, playground, and lots of places to have a picnic by the water. I heard that you can even fish here. For sunsets it’s to die for. I really love this park. The only thing that sets me off our dog owners with their dogs off the leash. Be considerate and keep your leashed, even if it’s a friendly dog we need to always have our dogs on a leash.
Rena G — Google review
Great place to get out of the heat and play in the water with shade. We really had a great time. It was pretty clean. We got there at 12pm and found parking easily. Cars were circling when we left at 3pm. The current wasn't too bad and we were able to float down the river and walk back in the water against the current without too much a hard time. We will definitely be back.
Jennifer B — Google review
We were on a road trip and stopped in Yuma for lunch. We have only been to Yuma to get a quick bite to eat or get gas. We decided to drop by this park just to walk around before a long drive home. The weather was beautiful and it was nice to see the Colorado River view. There was a playground and picnic tables. There was a large group of young adults swimming and jumping off a rope by the bridge. Looks like a fun place to hang out and it’s free.

The Yuma Art Center, housed in a restored vaudeville house, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art education and appreciation for all ages. Located in the historic First Bank Building, it serves as an artistic hub offering diverse classes in painting, sculpture, acting, and dancing. This cultural heart of Yuma hosts rotating exhibitions by local and regional artists and produces several theatrical productions annually.
Highly recommend a visit to the Yuma Art Center gallery (and the many interesting shops nearby). We’ve never been disappointed by the displays featuring works of the various talented artists featured in the Yuma Art Center gallery. The gallery itself is an attractive, well-lit modern space. It has become a ‘must see’ location whenever we visit. The gift shop located in the Art Center building has a unique assortment of ‘treasures.’ The Yuma Art Center is located at 254 South Main Street, Yuma, Arizona 85364. The City of Yuma has attracted (and developed) a talented community of artists who have created a variety of unique public art. The Yuma Division of Arts and Culture assists organizations and private property owners in coordinating public art projects. Some of these works have been done by well known individuals. Others, by talented local artists. The gallery provides a publication featuring information on, and the locations of these outdoor works.

Tribute of the muses!!!! So fancy worth every penny I had no expectations going in but they were greatly exceeded by far if I had any. It was definetly a classy dress up event. It was an amazing time I highly recommend it so many local talented people in one place from all different arts. The reception food/music was superb and delicious as well 😋. So proud of my brother Ricardo Herandez who was a nominated for the helios award.

Waylon's Water World is a family-friendly water park located just ten minutes east of downtown Yuma. It offers over 30 attractions, including thrilling water slides, aquatic centers, and pools suitable for all ages. The park also features splash pads, a lazy river, and sunbathing areas.
Enjoyed a great meal, in a clean and cool environment. Very kid friendly, several games for kids, water park, with mini golf course and bumper cars. I felt I took my grandchildren to a very safe place, that we could enjoy together, AND get cooled down from our Arizona summer heat!
Emma M — Google review
I come here once a summer! Always nice to float the lazy river with drink in hand. The slides are fun too, and getting dumped on by the big pirate bucket. I did burn my feet pretty badly walking on the pavement, and the lifeguards were telling people not to run which I understand but the pavement is dangerously hot. It would be nice if there was a little more shade over the walkways or the lazy river since it is very easy to get sunburned even if wearing sunscreen.
Rebecca — Google review
After driving over 2 1/2-hours arrived only to be met at the front desk by a very rude, nonchalant staff that kept repeating if winds are 25 mph or more the water park may be shut down. I heard you the first time!! The staff must have been offended I was redeeming for two guest Get Out passes which I informed immediately it was 3 of us. Do not add your business to get people to come, if you don't want to accept the pass. Terrible engagement and obstacles are unnecessary. After he ask me to redeem the pass which indicated to mark Yes as a function he then lied and acted as if he did not just see me click the redeem button I was so frustrated not that he wanted to see because he lied wasted 30 minutes of our time just for me to have the company to resend the redemption then the team lead comes over offering food as if this is supposed to excite me for the total disrespect and dishonesty of his employee never having him apologize for his lack of service. Yet he lies and says he will look at the cameras and investigate.I believe the Team leader was Joseph while the other employee want to be Eminem with fake gold chains stood around looking like the liar he is!!!! This is awful thank goodness I forgot his name Vanilla want to be ICE. IDK liar to say the least. After wasted time I'm still furious of the total disrespect. Overall the lifeguards were great my son loves water parks I just wish they would filter the lazy pool better it has lots of debris. This place is not huge but a more cozy water park with potential the other staff seem decent. I just won't be going back ever again this could have been our little low key cool place for fun but I won't spend a dime to be disrespected and treated with such humiliation. I will stick to our 6 flags season passes where lines are longer but respect is always and if mistakes are made staff are decent enough to take ownership and simply apologize. Try Hurricane Harbor or Big surf or anywhere but here don't waste your time!
Tiffany J — Google review
Great place for family and friends but A/C can use some maintenance very muggy. We had my nieces birthday party indoors last weekend in July. I know it's Yuma in July Monsoon season which A/C units should be running tip top. Other than that we always enjoy our visit.
Jacquie E — Google review
My family and I recently visited Waylon's Water Park, and it was an absolute blast! The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, making our experience all the more enjoyable. For those with young children, we highly recommend arriving early and reserving a cabana. This allowed us to have a peaceful lunch and even put our little one down for a nap without feeling cramped by other visitors. Speaking of young children, the park has a designated area just for toddlers, making it a safe and fun environment for everyone. All in all, we were thoroughly impressed with Waylon's Water Park - it truly is an oasis in the middle of the desert.
Joshua L — Google review
The water park is a lot of fun, but I had a frustrating experience at the food stand (not the main restaurant). I asked the girl with pink braces if I could get a combo without the drink and if it’d be cheaper—she said yes, so I ordered two plates of chicken tenders with fries. A few seconds later, I changed my mind and said I only wanted one but she told me refunds weren’t allowed. Then I saw I was charged full price for the fries. For two orders of fries it was almost $20 and when I asked about it, she denied ever saying it would be cheaper. The food itself was plain and definitely overpriced. They didn’t ask if I wanted any of the extra toppings shown in the pictures, which made the menu feel kind of misleading. I didn’t want to hold up the long line behind me in the heat, so I let it go—but the whole thing felt poorly handled.
Paul G — Google review
I took my family there 2 weeks ago. We had a great time perfect to cool off in the Yuma heat staff was really nice and courteous A little pricey to get in. Food was so so The bar was average but reason we went was for my 8 year son he had an awesome time. So that is for the 5 stars Thank you

Just a short drive from Yuma, the Yuma Conservation Garden is a delightful oasis that beautifully blends education and nature. As you stroll through its enchanting pathways, you'll be surrounded by an impressive collection of desert plants, each thoughtfully labeled to enhance your understanding of the Sonoran Desert's unique ecosystem. This serene sanctuary invites visitors to immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature while enjoying the melodic sounds of local birds.
A simple garden (free admin) with a variety of cacti and a pond with fish, turtles and duck you can feed. An awesome family experience.

This cactus and desert plant conservation area is beautiful. The cacti are some of the prettiest I've seen. It's unfortunate that there is so little funding going into it's upkeep. It is a beautiful story of desert plant survival. The palm oasis with the ducks and geese is a fun spot to visit. There are several places to stop and picnic. I encourage everyone interested in desert plants to visit. You'll not be disappointed. Please be generous with your donation.

A lovely place to visit in Yuma! I highly recommend feeding the ducks. It's worth it to buy the food from them for $1-3 (depending on bucket size), especially for families with kids. The tortoise wasn't out because it was a little too hot. The place is in need of a little upkeep and some more financial support to keep paths clear, replace sun-damaged signs and get plants labeled. I plan to add this place to my personal community-support goals.

Very pretty place with clean trails. It has tables and chairs for a relaxing picnic. They have duck food for $1 or $2 dlls extra.

Cute garden! Free to enter but they accept donations and you can pay to feed the ducks which was really fun

A great place to get away from it al, even though a main road runs through it (sort of). Not only do they have hiking trails, vintage farming equipment on display you can also feed the ducks. Free to enter and donations are encouraged. Worth the effort.

I saw the hours on the website and pamphlet. Got my family of 5 ready to go there Saturday morning. The kids were excited to visit and see the ducks. When we arrived, there was a sign saying closed for private party and not a soul in sight. It would be nice if they made updates on availability.

Carson was very helpful explaining a few things about thedifferent plant life on the property. Everyone should give a donation when they go so that they can maintain the place from disrepair. The pond has many ducks and you can purchase duck food at the entrance

East Wetlands Park, situated just east of Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park, spans 400 acres and offers a natural oasis with diverse trails. Once a landfill and homeless encampment, it has been revitalized into a protected wetland area with marshes and various plant species. The park is part of the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area and provides opportunities for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
My FAVORITE walking trails and park! Such a nice get into nature walk.

I walked from the East to the West wetlands on an early morning walk. I saw lots of birds but no animals and read the informative signs. A fun, easy way to walk 4-5 miles.

A nice oasis near the railroad tracks. It can be a lovely nature walk on a cool day. There are two main trails. A 3-mile loop circles the wetlands, and a half-mile trail follows the Colorado River.

Is a gem in the desert. Best to go out and back along the Colorado River. Early morning. it can be hot. Trail loop not that well marked. Bring bug repellent Bring water Bring your cell phone Trail is sunny in some parts You are on your own here. A person could get a bit disoriented cause trees are tall. Maintain your bearing you will be ok. Beautiful trees. times right on the river. Many animals

East Wetland Park and trail is a nice place to walk or go hiking. It follows a portion of the Colorado River and has a loop around the wetland area. I only hiked about a mile or so up the trail and turned around since the sun was setting. Great peaceful scenery as the trail follows the river.

The Colorado River was pretty, and east wetlands were flooded, but we still walked along the path. Maybe next time it won't be flooded.

Great place to get out in nature. The trail is well kept and relatively flat. You will see multitudes of wildlife on the trail and on the river. Lots of benches for sitting and relaxing.

Nice little hike, early on there are some great spots to sit near the water and some nice wildlife to see, but farther in is a little maze of dirt roads- this is just after some construction, I understand and that's still pretty evident.

Very disappointing! Nice small building with 7 pictures depicting the old days, one interesting furniture, and that's it!!! The only reason we stopped by - was that the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park was closed for maintenance (until Oct 1st).

Yuma was the only place to cross the great Colorado River for over 600 miles. I you wanted to travel from the east coast to the west coast in the 1860's you needed to cross the Colorado Rive at Yuma Arizona. The Quarter Master Depot served the entire southwester United States. All supplies came to Yuma, Then they were shipped to their destination.

This is another MUST SEE in Yuma!! On the weekends in winter there are demonstrations. Ever wonder how wimen stayed cool with all those clothes without AC? THEY show you!! How did they keep food safe? Alot of these questions we wondered about when watching westerns they answer. This place also relates the historical significance of Yuma to the rest of the country. Alit of people only think of Yuma 1 of two ways: either the Prison from westerns Or a place to stop before ctossing thr Califonia Desert for a meal( Dennys or MacDonalds)or gas (circle K or ARCO). YUMA is responsible for much more thsn that.

Z Fun Factory is a sprawling destination that offers an array of exciting activities for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy thrilling rides on bumper cars and go-karts, test their skills on one of two 18-hole mini-golf courses, and have fun playing various arcade games. Additionally, there is a water park where kids can splash around and cool off. The entertainment center also features pool tables and batting cages for additional enjoyment.
Came in with the family to watch some football, have a couple of beers and play pool. Very cool atmosphere, everything was decked out in Christmas attire. Arcade looked fun and my niece really enjoyed it. Played pool with my sister and that was cool, only $10 an hour. The rest of my family sat at the bar enjoying the tv and beer. We had a really super sweet bartender who was very nice and helpful and didn’t catch her name but she gave us amazing customer service. Would definitely be back for the go karts and food.

I took my daughter here for a fun night together. We did have fun but the overall feel of the place was run down and dingy. The go-karts were in working order and we enjoyed racing but even though the rules were posted in several places (and clearly explained by the attendant) someone kept ramming into our kart throughout the race but the attendant did not address the racer. This left my daughter and me frustrated but not enough to ruin our time. The lady who sold us our tickets was helpful but not super friendly but the gentleman who helped us redeem the tokens for a prize was very nice and patient. Overall, not incredibly impressed but there isn't much else going on in Yuma so we may go back at some point.

We visited Z Fun Factory in Yuma during a quick family getaway — and what a fantastic experience it was! From the moment we arrived, the energy was vibrant and the fun was non-stop. Our kids had the best time of their summer exploring the water park, go-karts, mini golf, and arcade. The place is so well designed for families — safe, clean, and packed with activities for all ages. Staff were helpful, and everything was well-maintained. It’s the kind of place where kids burn energy, parents can relax, and memories are made effortlessly. Highly recommended for families visiting Yuma. Whether it's a day trip or a weekend stay, Z Fun Factory is a must-visit spot for endless smiles. We didn't try any food options here, but something is available. Thank you for such a joyful time — we’ll be back again!

Just left fun factory and whoever you guys have working the arcade area is a not at all welcome or helpful. We explained to her that we needed help with a machine and she didn't bother to listen to what happened she just stored over there, but by the time she fixed the balls my time had finished. So I still wanted able to play. Also when we went to collect our prices she ignored us while she typed something on the computer.

We ordered some drinks from the bar, which we were able to take with us to play the course! Stopped by Paradise Casino near Yuma, and it was a good time from start to finish. The place has a real local feel to it — busy, friendly, and full of energy. The gaming floor has plenty of slots and table games, and you can tell folks are there to have fun, not just pass time. The food at The Cove was solid, classic comfort dishes that hit the spot after a few hours of play. The staff were laid back and kind, which made the whole experience even better. It’s not a fancy Vegas casino, but that’s what makes it great. Paradise keeps it real and relaxed, the kind of spot where everyone fits in. Grateful Traveler’s Note 🌿
Chris K — Google review
Well the drive up to this place is not a nice drive. Someone should do something about this area. (Paridise Casino). I guess they have dining and sometimes live music, which I didn't experience either 1. When I went in, super quite. All u hear are soft taps coming from every direction. Now I'm not the type to put money into a machine, and stay at that 1 machine until the money's gone. I put in money, spin it like 3 to 5 times, if it don't hit im pulling out and going to a different machine. $120 bucks later, I walked out. Not even a $0.88 cent win. And with it being so quite, I can hear no one else was hitting either. I can't comment on the food or live entertainment, but if your going here to play the machines, my opinion, I'd find another casino. There are a few of em around here. BUT, the reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1, because that place is really really clean. I will give em that. And it is smoke free. Even tho I am a smoker, I don't like getting smoked out while I play.
Doug A — Google review
All though the casino was ok,it's the security folks who bring the excitement down..always staring and making you feel very uncomfortable especially when they change out the black box's on the machines!! They yell at as if your a criminal sitting close and demanding to move!!..I would never return to this place..The "Q" was more respectful and they communicated before hand that the box's would be changed giving us a heads up on what's expected...

Absolutely incredible situation where a machine took money from my wife due to a malfunction My wife was telling me the buttons didn't work and she was going to cash out when the machine abruptly blinked and took all of her remaining money This is an Indian reservation so you're not going to get any favors done there's that's for sure because they claimed they went and looked at the video and the remaining funds were played out which I know is a lie because I was sitting next to my wife in a different machine Then they claimed and I used that term least loosely because you can lie about anything they claim they went and looked at the computer and the money had been played out Two lies one on top of the other if you want to go there and have a fun that's up to you but understand something it's an Indian reservation if something goes wrong you are going to lose we will never go back to that casino again over a lousy small error and one machine it's not worth our time and our headache and heartache and I hope others do the same

This park is gorgeous! There is a designated area for 2 to 5 year olds with a little train, slides, airplane and cute head hole sign. The other part is designated for 5 to 12 year olds but my 2 year old navigated it just fine. The castle has a big slide in it. There are swings, a sand pit with 2 diggers, and a zip line. There are bathrooms nearby.

Wow. This is a beautiful park. So creative and fun. Clean and expansive. Plan to spend the whole day and take it all in. Bring a $ incase ice cream man comes or a pop up vendor with amazing 🌮. Or a 🧺 basket and eat by the beautiful lake just a few steps away in the wetlands park. This park is settled into another park and you can bounce between them. Children are entertained for hours. And parents too if you got a kid inside. Zip-lines to the west of the park are a fun stop too! ⚠️🚸parents be alert 🚨 it’s only draw back is your not gonna be able to keep track of where your child is. It is surrounded by a fence with a bottle neck entrance. I suggest staying near the entrance or bring some adult back up so they can’t leave without you seeing.

The Ocean to Ocean Highway Bridge, completed in 1915, holds historical significance as the first vehicular bridge to cross the lower Colorado River. The area around the bridge provides both shallow and deeper water areas for different preferences.

Regency Main Street Cinemas is a locally-owned movie theater with 8 screens and an in-house coffee shop. The recent remodel has made the theater amazing, attracting families who enjoy going downtown. The reclineable chairs are perfect for a comfortable viewing experience. While there was one incident of cold popcorn, overall the place is loved by many. It is clean, affordable, and offers recliners for added comfort. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making it a favorite among locals.
My town only has 2 major theaters; both deserve five star ratings, though! This one has been around for some time, located down Main Street in the "old" section of Yuma. The upgrades more than make this a delicious option, however! Big, comfy, loveable chairs centered around the screen, a great concession stand, AND coffee bar more than make up for any negatives. Parking? Limited down the busy Main Street but plentiful behind the theater. A movie-going experience that demands to be checked out. So, what are you waiting for?

Allen M — Google review
imo, this is hands down the best movie going experience in Yuma. I love the reclining seats and how spaced apart they are. The artwork on the walls is also pretty cool. My only problem is that there is a one person bathroom on the first floor that was occupied, so I had to run upstairs to use the other bathroom. They have an elevator, but who has time for that? I usually get a blue slushie and a monster whenever I go here, and I like to mix them together while watching the movie. highly recommend this place 👌
Homar M — Google review
We went to see the new F1 movie on June 29, 2025. The theater seating is disgusting. The majority of the reclining seats have the fake leather coating rubbed off to the fabric on the headrest, seat, and leg portions. The coating will come off on your clothes and skin when you stand up. The cushions are also worn out and uncomfortable.
Jay A — Google review
We were in theater 8. This place needs a major cleaning and new furniture. It smells like pee, the chairs are worn out and there was a mess in between the chairs that wasnt cleaned in between showings, at least in the aisle i was in. Pristine pools. It's a shame they (City?) haven't been able to acquire proper equipment to cool the pools in this summer heat. The leadership with swim programs is definitely lacking. To further elaborate on response: several attempts were made via email, in person, and through participation in attenpting to help the swim program. I have never seen such poorly managed swim meets and fundraising. The communication chain and consistent last-minute changes make it nearly impossible to plan for working families with multiple children that won't think twice about paying fees for a well managed program.
