This place is superb, especially at 1 am, since it stays open until 2 in the morning. There was someone guiding us downstairs, as the entrance isn’t very obvious. Inside, there are three different rooms, each uniquely delightful, and the ambience is incredible. The cocktails are delicious, with strong and satisfying flavours. Highly recommended

Probably the best cocktails I’ve ever had, a lot of care goes into preparing them with unique choices and classics available on request. The bar itself was downstairs in a basement and therefore a bit tucked away but once found it was lovely to go somewhere so quirky and different. Drinks were expensive but you get what you pay for. The staff were great too.

We were here on St Patrick’s Day four years ago. The woman bartender made me an Old Fashioned with 12 year old Red Breast (St Patrick’s Day Special) and her homemade bitters (chocolate / chili bitters?) and it’s still the best Old Fashion I’ve had to this day. I’ve bored so many people to death talking about it. I would love the recipe.

No wait on a Sunday night around 9:30, although it seemed the place where you would definitely want one on busier nights. Great well balanced menu with a good variety of lighter lower ABV drinks all the way to heavier spirit-forward cocktails. The bartender was very knowledgeable and able to talk you through the menu. Would strongly recommend a visit here while in Bath.

This little bar is brilliant! We unfortunately didn't get to spend much time here but the service was excellent, such a friendly girl on the front of house. We had a couple of great drinks. One was the white pepper non-alcoholic drink and that was really refreshing. The atmosphere is dark and moody but in a good way. Like a really nice relaxed lounge bar. The music is not too loud. They have a couple of small rooms with sofas, so if you are in a group then these would be perfect for you to all hang out in. The bar is cool and their cocktail selection is amazing. Would definitely go back!

Highlight of my hen weekend! I am over the moon we booked a private room at Opium Bar for my hen weekend - it was an absolute blast and the highlight. The room for the vibe of the weekend perfectly. It felt like a hidden, quirky speakeasy - when we arrived there were candles and incense burning 👌 Drinks were great and we were able to have a tab to pay at the end. There was a group of 10 of us and the size was perfect for karaoke and dancing (which we quickly got stuck into). It was so much fun! Most importantly huge shout out to Molly and her team who looked after us. What a fantastic bunch of women! We had such a laugh with them and they really made the evening. Thank you ladies - you were amazing! :)

This is a real quirky and different cocktail bar, that if you come bath you have to visit. Reminders me of the Incognito Bar in Winchester! Get staff are super friendly and what's more they know how to make a cocktail! Had the lychee Ice Tea and Moscow Mule (choose the rum option) whilst the wife asked for a dirty Martini. All were made perfectly, they weren't mean with the alcohol and what's more not 'ripoff' prices!!! Having been to so many cocktail bars where you pay £18 for a half arsed cocktail that tastes like it was canned, this place is the real deal! Ask for a bespoke cocktail and these geniuses will make u something special. I asked for a spicy rum number and what I got was incredible (at standard price). Didn't want to leave and a massive highlight of our Bath stay We will definitely come again! Oh.....did I mention.....book Bath and go there now!!!

Oh, the bartenders here were delightful and talked to my lonely self as I was their first customer of the evening and from USA. Found the place just walking by and it looked so inviting I had to stop. The drinks were made with care and specialized for my tastes. The decor was gorgeous and unique in a city full of pubs and restaurants.

What a find! Absolutely gorgeously decorated cocktail bar hidden underneath a road in central Bath. Very quirky place, but in a good way. Wasn't busy at all midweek, service was good, and drinks were nice. Cocktails were about a tenner. Definitely has the wow factor just for the interior alone. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this cosy little bar. Perfect for a romantic evening. Music was great, the selection was unique and the cocktails were absolutely delicious. We only intended to pop in, but stayed until closing. Staff were super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable too. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Bath.

A lovely little, quirky bar. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks they were serving. You cannot book but we got to the bar around 5.30 on a Sunday and were seated straight away. It is small and I would guess it gets quite busy on drier nights, and especially Friday/Saturday nights. We will be back again at some point in the future to keep trying out the menu!

Couldn’t have loved this place more, and it’s no wonder why they’ve won some pretty impressive awards. The guys on duty went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, in a genuine and friendly way. The perfect place to stop off for a very, very good marg. 10/10.

Really glad we did a bit of googling to see the good spots to visit. This did not disappoint. The set up is relaxed with a fun twist, an excellent spot for couples, first dates or with one of the lads. Cocktails cost a lot, but they’re strong, really tasty and it’s right in the heart of town in a great setting. Id give the old fashioned a go, even if you’re not a whiskey drinker. Would definitely visit here again.

Out Saturday day drinking for a hen do. Was there from 6pm till 9pm. We sat outside on a sofa, with the DJ playing under the gazebo. Great music, Great atmosphere, the place was buzzing. Staff are friendly, served drinks to your table, cleared up quickly to remove those empty glasses. Had a great time drinking, chilling to the music and chatting.

Great little spot for drinks. The interiors and design of the place is nice overall. Drinks were really good, although the wine glasses were... a choice. 😂 The team were nice too, they seemed on it with things to keep the good environment regarless of how busy or quiet it was. Although, 1 thing; the table in front of the DJ booth is a little bit of a lost opportunity to showcase the cute neon sign.

Bar and lounge with a great heated patio/garden seating out back with seating to accommodate large groups. Night club downstairs that was packed and lively the night I was there. Would dance here again.

A few days away in Bath during week one of lockdown restrictions starting ease enabled us to find the ever popular Sub 13 champagne and cocktail bar. As with all establishments, only outdoor seating is available at present but the large terrace at the rear of Sub 13 was an ideal place to sit for a few hours and enjoy being able to go out again. The terrace has large heated canopies over the whole area making a pleasant and suitable place to be during this current cold period. The drinks menu had a good range of drinks to suit most pockets (champagne going upto £800 a bottle) with equally efficient accompanying waiter/ess service. All in all a great experience for us and somewhere we would recommend and return to if visiting Bath for the afternoon or evening. Key advice..... make an advance booking for the terrace otherwise prepare to be disappointed or have a long wait. It’s very popular!!

We had an amazing cocktail making masterclass on Friday night for my friends hen party! The staff were amazing and the venue is ace! We had a really wonderful evening and enjoying our experience. We learned how to make lots of different types of cocktails and we got to try them all too.

The bar does table service so there will be a service charge included on the bill. The staff were warm and we immediately felt welcomed. There's a decent selection of gins to try, as well as a flight which comes with a bottle of tonic. I'm not usually a gin drinker but I really enjoyed this place.

Entered a stranger. Left as a friend. Not only is this bar a heaven for gin lovers, it is also home to the most heartwarming and hospitable barkeepers I have met in a long, long time. Ava (which is short for "always very awesome") and Timms made a seemingly bland Wednesday evening a night to remember. And if you think that this sounds like an overtly glowing review than that's because those two and the bar they run deserve it. Try for yourself: I asked for the flight of gin and got more than just good drinks and background knowledge. A high recommend from me! You will always have a fan in Germany!

My firm first recommendation to anyone looking for a bar in Bath. Original and creative cocktail menu, attentive and knowledgeable staff and a delightfully snug ambience that makes you forget that you're a short walk away from the main shopping district of the city. The Three of Swords and The Star are some particular highlights of the menu (made with their own vast variety of unique distilled gins), although the bartenders are more than willing to accommodate any drinks outside of it! I find myself continually returning to this hidden gem, and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bath.

Highly recommend the Master Class experience. We were lucky enough to take the class with Harriet and Maddie. Fun, informative and so cool to make 3 of our own cocktails. Could not have had a lovelier time! PS if you don't want to take the class the cocktails are also worth going for. It was after our second visit in 2 days having cocktails that we signed up for the class.

Sincerely disappointed by this bar–please update your website/Google so travellers can plan correctly. I planned to come here on my last night in Bath and was very much looking forward to it–I love gin and Jane. The website says they’re open until midnight as does Google, though the door just vaguely says “late.” I arrived at 10pm. There were still patrons enjoying drinks, and the door was open. The female bartender greeted me cheerfully, and then the male bartender turned and told me they were done serving for the night with an insincere “sorry.” As much as I love this concept, I won’t bother in future when I’m in Bath. It would have cost him nothing to let the other bartender who clearly didn’t mind quickly mix me a drink.

I would highly recommend going to this sweet little gin bar just around the corner from the main city life. The atmosphere is lively yet a great place to sit and chill with some of the best drinks ive had. The menu has a unique almost habddrawn style, with carefully thought out drinks and flavours. Staff are friendly and inviting and are always keen for a laugh. Would definitely go here again

The experience was spoilt by the security guy walking in and out constantly, all the time! Often joined by other staff to do some silly gossiping without caring that they stand right by their paying customers. In and out walked the security guy and felt dizzy after a while and sadly not because of my gin. Considering the price, my gin was disappointingly served in their smaller glasses that didn't feel right at all. I will not be able to recommend this place, they should do much better to be a high class gin bar!

So good, we went twice in 2 days. Great selection of Rums and cocktails served up by barkeepers who know what they're doing and who provide a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

This review is a little overdue as we went August 2023. The cocktails and atmosphere in the place are great! Admittedly it’s a little on the small side and you might struggle to always get a seat, but it’s definitely a place to visit if you like rum and cocktails. I don’t quite remember the prices we paid at the time, but they definitely don’t mug you off on the measures, we were pretty smashed after 3 or 4! 😂

Well worth a good detour to get here. We had a mojito, a bramble and a bakewell from their cocktail list. No scrimping on the rum, a very good free pured measure and all the extra garnishs and show with it, it was busy but that is to be expected with a propper cocktail making, it isnt quick and is well worth it.

Gorgeous little bar with great service, staff and more importantly cocktails! Pricing was surprisingly cheaper than I expected it to be - not gonna complain about it though! We managed to get in just before the crowd, so snagged a table upstairs, and in fact had the place pretty much to ourselves for the next hour. Highly recommended if you're in Bath!

Went here after seeing it on First Dates. The place is absolutely amazing,its beautiful. One of the best restaurants I think I've been to. The service is very good. Wasn't hugely impressed with the food though. Did expect better. The food was good, not bad. Still, very much, worth coming to though. My gravy was cold and my partners steak was quite dry. Neither were worth asking to be rectified but did detract from our experience.

We’ll definitely be returning! The atmosphere is fantastic, full of charm and character, and the service couldn’t have been more efficient or friendly. I did miss the bit about pouring the sauce over the hanging kebab, but even so the food was delicious. It was also such a pleasure to find a place that’s dog-friendly around the bar area — so often you feel pushed aside, but here we felt truly welcomed and included. A wonderful experience all round.

I organised this for a girls dinner and it didn't disappoint! The ambience was wonderful, the food was sublime. We had superb service and the live music was a bonus. The decor of this beautiful old building is an amazing setting.

What an exquisite building, and it's many uses, steeped in history, before being adapted to this wonderful restaurant! The first time I'd been recommended by my Daughter and her husband. I went to Bath for a two night stay with two friends, who also had not visited before. We all agreed it was a fabulous evening! It was most certainly a treat, likewise was the food! The Sunday roast was very tasty and with unlimited yorkshire puddings & gravy. We did book our table. The service was swift and attentive!

Beautiful venue in a stunning building, with a truly romantic and magical atmosphere. The huge tree in the middle of the bar creates a whimsical, almost fairy-tale vibe — we genuinely didn’t realise it wasn’t real until we looked closely! The décor is gorgeous and makes for a lovely dining setting, especially from the upstairs tables overlooking the main area. We both really enjoyed our mains — I had the steak and my partner had a burger, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Sadly, the drinks were a letdown. I ordered a mocktail that was very bitter and not enjoyable at all. Service was a bit hit and miss. Although staff were polite and apologised, they weren’t very attentive. The servers seemed quite young and were easily distracted, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy when we arrived. We had to flag them down a few times, which interrupted the flow of what could have been a more relaxing experience. The table we were seated at had a lovely view, but I had to keep an eye out as people passed close by — it wasn’t a huge issue, just something to note. There were quite a few hen parties and large groups, so it’s great for celebrations, but maybe not ideal if you’re after a calm, intimate meal. The biggest downside was the toilet — a long walk away (around 3 minutes), and when I got there it was messy and not well-stocked. The hallway on the way had a noticeable fishy smell, and I was nearly knocked into by a server rushing past on the stairs. Summary: ✅ Gorgeous setting ✅ Delicious food ⛔️ Bitter drink ⛔️ Slow service 🚻 Long walk to messy toilets 👯‍♀️ Groups & hen parties common Would I go again? Yes, for the atmosphere and food — but I’d skip the mocktails. Would be prepared to give this beautiful place another go, hopefully just an off day.

An unforgettable experience! This place completely amazed me — not only was the drink absolutely delicious, but the atmosphere was just breathtaking. Every detail of the interior is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed that it literally gave me chills. Visited here as it’s the First Dates TV location for UK tv show, the TV programme has it laid out differently but it’s still surreal if you are a fan of the show. Naturally I arrived first and wifey arrived a few minutes later and we had a cocktail at the bar, big shout out to Josh barman who was a Merlin to be! Engaging and proficient. Lots of young staff but all were confident and friendly to provide a god level of service. Sat upstairs and had a lovely hanging chicken skewer, it arrived very quickly and with some lovely sweet potato fries, all good here. Back down to the bar and more cocktails all very well presented enjoyed the whole experience and even had a picture behind the famous bar (thanks Josh) as it was our wedding anniversary. Thoroughly recommended and you won’t be fleeced when it comes time to pay.

The Bell Inn a community owned pub with over 800 share holders. A Bath institution and very popular at the weekends. Visiting in a sunny Saturday early afternoon, we found a chilled atmosphere and had time to chat to staff and fellow punters... When we returned around 9.30 in the evening the whole place was jumping! In the current CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2024, with a pop up pizza stall in the evenings. Regular music and community events, with plenty of seating in the outside area at the rear. Not an up market venue, but if that's what you want Bath had plenty of such places... But if you want a good pub with decent ale, and a friendly lively atmosphere "The Bell" is for you.

Great little find. Friendly staff, friendly locals, just mega friendly, ran and owned by locals and was playing Tears for fears when we stopped in ... Bonus ...!!! (I don't believe the reviews on the menu though, seems they've obviously been paying someone for them) ...

I love this place - the drinks are the cheapest you’ll find in Bath and the staff are amazing (shout out to Freya ❤️). It’s such a good spot to socialise, and they host an open mic on Thursday evenings which makes the atmosphere even better. It’s the kind of pub you can happily go to on your own and still end up meeting new people and making friends.

The bell on a Wednesday is the place to be! If you’re searching for a bright creative musical environment the bell is your place. It’s a complete go to for me and all my friends. The music is great the prices aren’t bad and there is plenty of seating outside. Sometimes it can get a little loud but I think that’s the price you pay for such a lovely musical community

Great pub for a pint and some live music. The have a perfect little garden out the rear of the pub with a place to purchase homemade fired pizzas. Many live music events and great selection of beers, ales and ciders.

Just wow! What a fantastic atmosphere and when we arrived the dancefloor was packed. Despite how busy it was the bar staff seemed really on top of it and I never had a long wait for a drink. Great place, friendly staff, will definitely visit again.

A really nice pub almost perfect Sunday roast except the long wait for the food around 40 mins. The interior design is relaxing and makes it a good place to chill. Sunday roast menu gives you good options for sharing and the food is very tasty. We swept the whole table clean after the long wait. I would go back for the food.

A lovely Sunday afternoon lunch for a birthday celebration. The service was lovely and we were left to it. The food was delightful - warm bread and butter to start with! We had three courses (it was a celebration!) and each was as tasty as the one before. For a Sunday afternoon the restaurant area was busy, but it wasn't too overbearing and was easy to speak to each other.

In a city full of lovely dining places, Walcott House is a great example - good food, friendly staff, great environment - and easier to find a table, as it is that little bit larger than most. We had a table for 4 on a busy Saturday night, but we felt looked after the whole time. Food was excellent, the rooms are fun - there are two distinct areas, with the back more open plan and the front more intimate. I would go again when I'm next in Bath.

This place is air conditioned. After 11 days of our tour eating without air conditioning they saved the best for last. The vegetarian Celerian leek pie was the best “pie” I’ve had in 11 days. The “Think Drink” coctail was delicious. Try their side dish of Isle of Wright tomatoes also.

Breakfast at Walcot House was lovely. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, food was served quickly and the produce is high quality. Pricing in line with other restaurants in Bath but a very enjoyable vibe. Would definitely recommend!

I loved tbh e vibe of the pace, not just the design but also the people and the background music - it was friendly, comfortable, welcoming and you just wanted to stay Luckily the food and drinks followed suit, we had the roast and it was very good, generous with the vegetables and less so with the single slice of meat We were a family of four and as you can see it was on the not-so-cheap side and we’ll certainly be back

I celebrated my birthday at Walcott House, and from the moment I first emailed to enquire right through to the evening itself, everything was absolutely seamless. The team were so attentive and helpful, making the whole experience feel effortless. The ambiance was beautiful, warm, elegant, and full of charm. Perfect for a special occasion. The food was exceptional, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were just delicious (definitely worth coming back for!). It was such an amazing evening, everything felt thoughtful, relaxed, and so worthwhile. I honestly couldn’t recommend Walcott House enough, especially if you’re looking for somewhere that feels a little bit special.

Fantastic cocktails, usually good staff. The guy on today whose been there quite a few times was incredibly rude to us twice. We always go in straight off the train, won’t be going again. Gutted, used to love the place! The guy who served us, who we’ve not seen before was lovely.

£8.15 for a small glass of red wine ! I bought 2 glasses I felt too expensive And music is not good for dance at all! Most of the time it was rap music .I dont like to come back again

We had Andrew give us a cocktail making master class and he was absolutely fantastic! He made the couple of hours we were there great fun and he was great at his job - thank you Andrew! The only thing that needs to be made much clearer when booking in Bath is that the cocktail masterclass is at the main bar and the bar itself is small. We presumed we would have a separate room and as there was 18 of us, it was a bit of a squash at times. This wasn’t the bar staffs fault though and we had a great time. Thank you Andrew!

We booked a table for my friends birthday, the door staff were lovely as was the guy who seated us however the table we were sat on was tiny they had to squeeze 4 chairs around this one tiny table which also had a big cement block next to it holding up the umbrella, it felt like we were sat on eachothers laps. After the table next to us moved we moved ourselves onto a bigger table. The guy who served us behind the bar was lovely too but trying to get a drink at that time was extremely difficult and took a long wait. Obviously things that cannot be controlled on a busy Saturday I understand that. Drinks were lovely as usual but I would say trying to fit a table of 4 on a tiny table isn’t going to make for a happy group of people especially for the £25 deposit you have to pay to reserve the table. 🙂

Honestly? Awful. On the hottest day of the year, there was zero ventilation. We booked a table for 14 and somehow ended up with space for about 6 to sit. The manager rudely told us we should have read the policy, saying we’d agreed to a “sitting and standing table”, but there was no space to stand either, unless we wanted to block the corridor. We explained (politely) that people in our group were pregnant, but he couldn’t have cared less. I think he even scoffed at us at one point, then refused to engage any further. We love the Cardiff Be At One so we were honestly gutted :(

absolutely amazing !!! the customer service might be the best i’ve ever experienced, the drinks where perfect and “DJ LOX” was even better. Security were on it all night and even the cloak room was greatly managed but the bar staff stand at the peak of pure efficient performance. 10/10

Had tickets for 22:30-23:00 (Monday freshers’ week). Arrived 22:56. Security guy grabbed my wine bottle from my hand when I was standing several meters away from the queue on a public road. Waited in the queue >35 mins until past 23:30 with people shoving past each other. Extremely crowded inside. Jägerbombs £3 each. Overall not fun.

best club i’ve been to by far. staff are all really friendly and helpful and there’s always a bouncer around if you need help with anything. drinks are priced reasonably and the atmosphere is great. there is also an event for everyone no matter what type of music you like. will definitely be going back

Atmosphere is not the best In bath. Personally I prefer the music and vibe in labarinth . Staff were rude and accused me of being on substances in the bathroom, after I insisted I was not and encouraged them to search me. They refused the search sticking to their accusations. I was then removed as a result of their accusations and and my evening was cut short. I'm extremely disappointed in the conduct of the staff here and hope this can be improved for future patrons of the venue. Tldr. Drinks are reasonably priced but bouncers are rude and like to jump to conclusions.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, bartender made us up a cocktail as we didn't fancy what was on the menu at no hesitation. Very good value when 241 cocktail deal is on.

An incredible spot with an amazing atmosphere, good drinks, the best DJ sets and the most helpful family of staff I’ve ever seen. The managers are super kind and professional and the security staff are the best craic. The regular dj is great fun and you can always tell he loves his job. Dunno what these other reviews are on about. You have to give this place a shot!!!!

My partner and I sat outside in the sunshine yesterday and were served by Josh. He was really knowledgeable about the menu and helped us decide between a few different items we were stuck on. He truly enhanced an already wonderful experience! Thanks again Josh! The food was absolutely delicious, flavours perfectly balanced and dishes arrived to the table staggered to ensure we were not over faced. A definite highlight of our trip to Bath!

We enjoyed a fabulous light lunch accompanied by outstanding service. The menu offered an excellent variety of dishes, but we chose the anchovies on toast, English peas on focaccia, and Cornish hake with carrot purée. The rhubarb crème brûlée was a triumph– one of the best desserts we've had in quite some time. A true hidden gem!

Lovely place with great food & beautiful wines! We had the charcuterie board with some delicious bread one evening (definitely recommend). But the highlight for sure was (on a different evening) the venison bavette; just perfection with courgette fritters! Must go when you visit Bath!

Very nice meat and cheeseboard and a good selection of wines. The rest of the menu looked very appealing also but great if you just want a quick bite to eat.

Delicious food, friendly staff and cool environment. Restaurant is basically within a wine shop, which they have a large selections of good wine, that can pair with some very delicious food. Staffs were very friendly and professional (especially on wine suggestions). I think it was great that I will visit again in the future and recommend to friends and family.

We sat outside to enjoy the sunny afternoon. The sharing plates were excellent. Found them inventive and fun. Service was nice but a little flighty, we always had to be on the lookout for our server. We stopped in for a drink after dinner. There are a number of tables and a large relaxed sofa area at the back. We enjoyed a great bottle of wine from their large selection. The small plates of for looked good but we'd already eaten. This felt like a 'grown ups' place with a great atmosphere and nothing too banging. We look forward to coming back.

We visited as part of my daughter’s hen party and did the cocktail making experience. Calum was our host and was an absolute joy. I had a brilliant night at Komedia seeing a tribute act for Adele, Naomi Johnson. She is an excellent singer supported by her brilliant backing singers and band. The evening was fun, interactive and a joy to experience. I will be looking out for her act when they next visit the area. Definitely want to see them again. My whole family enjoyed it. My son who is in his teens, me in my fifties and my mum who is over 70! Truly a stunning evening ✨

Had a fantastic time here seeing Shoot From The Hip. It was only November 2 so the Halloween decorations were still up, giving it a kinda spooky atmosphere. The show was incredible, I nearly cried laughing at the four of them. Would (will) go back if they're ever back this way again.

Great venue and Adam Kay was as entertaining as ever. The only downside was during the Q&A – it would have been really helpful if audience members asking questions had been given a microphone, as we couldn’t hear anything from the balcony. Otherwise, a fantastic night!

Had a fantastic experience at the Komedia, not seeing comedy or for a night out, but a very wonderful talk by author Natalie Haynes in association with Mr B's Emporium of Books as part of her tour promoting her latest book 'No Friend to This House.' Just shows how versatile the venue is, and the staff were very friendly.

We always enjoy our visits to Komedia Bath - it's a great venue for gigs, comedy and parties. This time it was comedian Geoff Norcott with his Basic Bloke 2 tour, and another great evening. The team at Komedia are always really friendly, the venue is relaxed and the gigs always top notch. And Geoff was excellent, combining his observations on the news with the role of men and women, being a dad and loads more.

This was a weird one! I found a piece of glass in the French fries. (Chips). It was shocking. Obviously not an intentional thing so I can’t blame anyone. My guess is a glitch at the manufacturer level. I felt SO awkward mentioning it, as if I’m a scammer or something. I’m a CPA so definitely not pulling a stunt. Management was apologetic and took the meal off the tab, which I appreciate. I had the jerk chicken breast, which was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed the yellow pepper sauce (and the variety in general).

Very good meal, lovely service. While a chain it looks and feels much more like an independent restaurant compared to most high street restaurant chains, good sized portions. Not too busy/noisy for comfort. Much better than expected.

I am writing regarding an order I placed through Uber Eats. I ordered a Tacho Bundle, and in the Chipotle Chicken Tachos, the chicken was either spoiled or undercooked, and it had a very bad smell. I tried to contact the store, but no one answered. When I took one of them to eat the smell was even stronger, and upon checking more closely, I noticed the chicken was clearly not right. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I wanted to bring it to your attention.

Diabolical Bruch - Clearly understaffed, the service was slow (albeit polite and friendly) and it took about 90 minutes to get any food. The portion sizes are minute, with the driest chicken burger I have ever eaten and an inexcusable paucity of chips; a culinary abomination. The jugs of cocktails were fairly fast flowing, albeit you get what you are given and any a la carte drinks requests take an inordinate amount of time to arrive. I don’t blame the front of house staff, they were trying their best, but clearly there are issues in the kitchen (quality and capacity) for the management to deal with. Overall, I would avoid and could not recommend.

Strong drinks a plus, tasty food. Paltry servings and poor service. Arrived at 5:40 pm. Waited 5 min to be seated, no staff around and plenty of tables. Ordered the Taste of Mexico (quesadilla & fajitas). Only two small slices of chicken in the fajitas and the quesadilla was made from a 6” tortilla. Beans and rice, the cheap stuff, of average size. Not busy at all waited 10 min to take drink order, fortunately I ordered food at that time. Drink came in timely manner. Waited 25 min for the food. Possibly time of day but no excuse for the pathetic serving size, especially for the price.

Fantastic, faultless bottomless brunch experience 🌟 Our waitress was such good fun, we were never left wondering when we were going to be served as she was on the ball. The curry I ordered was delicious, however quite small, I imagine as it was from the BB menu, I'm just glad I ordered a side! The spiral staircase to the toilets was a bit of a trek, especially after so many cocktails. This can't be helped but just something to be aware of. I did end up spending around £12 more than the advertised BB cost on the website (no idea why) however I still felt it was well worth the price. I would visit Las Iguanas again, bottomless brunch or otherwise.

This place is incredible. Me and my partner visited Friday afternoon for a cocktail and end up staying for a quiet a few hours. The place and staff were so incredibly, we decided to visit again the night of our anniversary. The staff could not do enough and arranged for drinks as we arrived, anniversary sign and personalised food. Mimi and Olivia were both incredibly and could not do enough. Dont go there! We showed up as two families with young kids tired and hungry. The manager rudely refused us with plenty of space available in the outdoor seating, twice and rudely. When we asked for an explanation we were told there was no table for 8 while we could have easily accomodated on the outdoor benches. When asked for the manager again rudely said she is the manager and dismissed us in a bad manner. I do not expect to be treated like that by nobody even leas so by an arrogant young girl that doesn't know how to handle customers. Shocking behaviour by someone working in restaurants! Shocking! She should change job! Do not go there.

Lovely friendly atmosphere here. Really like how the place is laid out. We had a romantic little nook in the corner overlooking the restaurant. Its a great building and I love the use of the different spaces, it feels fresh and fun. We had an amazing server, dead friendly Scottish woman. She's really good at her job, makes you feel so at home and seems to be able to anticipate your every need/read your mind! But doesn't linger, can't really fault her to be honest and she made the night memorable and successful. We heard the live jazz which was nice although it did make everyone talk louder so it was a bit of a struggle on that front to talk! The food also doesn't come out all together which I'm not sure why. But, the food I had was delicious. I was surprised I could enjoy a pizza I've had many times before in a new and totally delicious way. Crispy thing crust, amazing complimentary flavours and I almost finished it all! We also ordered the baked feta with Rosemary and honey which was super moreish but very rich! My partner had a halloumi burger but unfortunately he wasn't very impressed with that. Super glad they had herbal teas as even though they aren't very "sexy" on the menu, it was the perfect way to end the evening. I did however find the website extremely confusing as to what and where was on offer. We weren't even sure which bit we'd booked and just hoped it was the live music bit, luckily it was.

We pre booked a party of 10 to celebrate my daughter’s recent 21st Birthday. Good atmosphere, music in background quiet enough to hear each other talk. Very bubbly friendly servers. Was told up front that pizza orders may take up to 45 mins due to a backlog so bear in mind when ordering starters etc. However, all orders arrived earlier & fortunately all at the same time.

This is a partial review! We got here as they opened and were seated. We ordered and received our drinks. We then ordered our food and never saw our server again (Libby)! We had to go to the bar to inquire about our food! We actually saw our server serve a group of very loud women whose kids were running amok in the restaurant and kept hitting my daughters chair as they ran by! The bar keep (or manager) came over and explained that they only had one cook and comped our drinks. We never got to try the food as we had tickets to an event and had to leave. The atmosphere was very nice but was soured by the irresponsible fellow patrons and their kids. It was not a good experience. I hope you have a better one if you choose to eat here. Sorry that the review could not be better, Revolution. 😞

Came in here for lunch. The service was good and very quick. We ordered the bacon and cheese burger with fries. I didn't enjoy the sauce which came with the burger, the rest of the burger was delicious. It was a fair size and a really good price. The bacon and cheese burger was only £12.

Ouuuu wow! We had a blast in here. Booked for a 90 minute slot but ended up staying all through the afternoon and the whole of the evening! The staff were attentive, the venue was great; the cocktails were gorgeous and the burger was top notch! The security were proactively keeping everyone safe...we really enjoyed - great atmosphere!

We wanted to have dinner there, sadly we were informed they didn’t have delivery so basically no dishes were available what’s a bit ridiculous. The cocktails were good though and they have nice happy hour option. The waitress was very nice too and the decor is interesting

What great offer cocktail and a burger for £10,how could I say no. Located at the top of Bath, it is definitely worth the walk greeted by friendly staff, a spacious venue. You can tell it's buzzing at the weekend 😀. If you fancy a drink with a difference and are bored with cafes and pubs, pop in something will definitely tempt. May take a bit of organising but gonna try and make a weekend evening .

I’ve been to the Slug & Lettuce in Bath on each of my last three visits, and it’s always been a reliable stop. This time around was no different — the atmosphere was the same as usual, and because it wasn’t busy, service was fine with no issues. I only went for cocktails on this visit, and they were decent. The buy-one-get-one-free deal makes it especially good value — £13.65 gets you two cocktails, which is hard to argue with in Bath. Nothing particularly stood out either way, but it did exactly what I expected. A solid choice for a few drinks in the city. I’d recommend it and will definitely return myself.

We did bottomless brunch and served by Thomas! He was an absolute treat as a host. The Buratta Toast was lovely, and filling. Had enough options for the gluten free of the group so well catered for. Will definitely visit again.

Food was beautiful just needed a tad more flavor for the smothered chicken. The biscoff cheesecake was very sweet I couldn’t eat all of it but it was amazing. However the toilet facilities were lacking as I felt ill as I used the men’s room. Staff were friendly and the food came quicker than expected overall I would recommend to others. Absolutely loved this place!! The staff were friendly & attentive. However, the real star of the show has to be the food. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in their menu. Plus the food came out with haste! We were traveling from Australia and stopped in Bath for the day. Jimmy took care of us, and his service was excellent—he was genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. The atmosphere here is fantastic, with polite and friendly staff all around. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the food was top quality at a great price. We’d definitely recommend coming back again.

This was a nice place. First of all it's gigantic. I like the feeling of it. It's all wooden and has plants around it and they have a sitting area outside. Although the background music was very loud, which was disturbing. The staff was super nice and the service was fast. They have lunch menu deals for 6.95£, which is very cool. They offer a lot of vegan options, I had the vegan burger and my friend had a vegan waffle. Both were very good.

A fun and easygoing American restaurant, I went here recently with some friends. Lots of interesting things on the menu and plenty of choice if you like your food heavy. I had a chicken burger with Mac and cheese balls on the side. Was too much to eat but that's my fault. The service was a little slow and they got a bit rude by the end.

We went here for dinner and specifically requested our orders in advance due to special dietary requirements. The manager was really helpful and accommodating to our needs. Not only that, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and everyone loved their chicken (and desserts! Read: cookies!). Went for the first time today, place looks great! Warm welcome and waiters were pretty good throughout. Menu looked good and ordered the rocket Man burger, now the burger wasn't brilliant... Very soggy bun as it was sitting in a pool of juices, the chicken however was very nice. Onion rings were very fresh and a good portion size too. Chips were a bit soggy too. Asked for the bill and got it asked to pay and had to wait a long long time for the card machine, never really understand why card machine doesn't come with the bill you know, I mean you roughly know if you can afford it before you order so why the wait.... Yes I would come back but for drinks only really, cocktail bar looked very good and would be perfect for work might out or out with partner etc Thanks

Well it all started so well. Venue is nice, seated quickly. However I'd read a few reviews highlighting issues with service however these were generous. The service is totally appalling. I mean horrendous. If you like sitting there waving for attention while the staff chat to each other this is your kind of place. We shared a large plate of wings to start with and these were excellent. Really good. Very tasty. The mains however we're rubbish. Several of our small group had burgers. These were processed chicken and really pretty grim. Made to look much more grand with tons of a lettuce and sauce and a knife vertical in the bun to make it look trendy/hold it together. The spicy sweet potato fries at 4 quid were naff. Definitely won't return and recommend you do yourself a favour and go round the corner to a very nice Nandos.

Hands down our favourite spot in Bath! The wine selection is always perfect, and we love the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The team here is amazing, and Rosie always makes us feel so special with her warm, friendly service. We also get a kick out of the playful banter—especially when I inevitably leave my bag behind (again)! It’s the little things that make this place so special, and we always feel right at home. If you’re in Bath, this place is an absolute must! Cheers to many more wonderful nights here!

Excellent place to sit on an afternoon outside watching the world go by. Large selection of wines to choose from, staff are welcoming and polite. The food is very good but would like to see some odd specials or a little variation now and again, maybe some more options for the vast red wine collection 🙂 A very enjoyable experience.

This bar was recommended to us by our AirBnb host and it served us well for a Friday night. We didn’t have a reservation but there were plenty of outside tables and heaters so we were warm. Good atmosphere, nice cocktails and small plates. Felt like a millennial + older crowd.

I notice most of the reviews are about the wine and cocktails. Don't recommend the Welsh rarebit crumpet small plate for £8. I was expecting lovely fluffy crumpets but instead got small dried up cheap quality crumpets. Certainly not worth £8. Wish I'd had the foresight to take a photo.

I came here two nights in a row. The first night I had reserved as we were a group of 8, the second night I was on my own. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and my friends were more than happy they got served food at a later hour without any problems. Thank you, guys! Hopefully til next year.

Great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and welcoming—perfect for a quiet evening out. Staff were excellent: polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely accommodating throughout. We started with a few nibbles, followed by the rib eye steak and hake—both cooked beautifully and full of flavour. The caramel apple Betty was a standout dessert, and the mojitos were genuinely some of the best I’ve had. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Bath

Had a good memorable meal after our long day trip at Bath with some nice Latino flavours. We tried small nibbles and the seafood Paella it was really fresh. The crew were super nice and very hospitable. I liked the atmosphere as well quite a mix of vibrant and good dining area .

Upon arrival the staff were absolutely lovely - they complimented everyone, made some jokes and made us feel very welcome. Inside the restaurant was beautiful with pretty lights and again a beautiful bathroom. There was some nice music in the background and it was just the right setting for me and the rest of my family. Food was perfect and very tasty! No complaints at all, everything cooked to perfection. Once again the staff were lovely, and when we asked about more information about them, if they were a chain etc, they were amazing and they gave us a list of food recommendations for when we come again, which we said we definitely would. There wasn’t a long wait at all for food and in the meantime our drinks were topped up by the staff and their manners were lovely also. If you as a family are looking for somewhere absolutely AMAZING and tasty to eat, this is definitely the place for you. They’re truly so welcoming and I will definitely be eating here again.

Had a lovely meal here, the lady serving us was very pleasant and attentive. We were after a great steak and after reading reviews, Edesia is where we had chosen. We chose the sharing T-bone steak and it was cooked beautifully, medium rare as requested. The only criticism I would give is it wasn't overly flavourful, but overall was a good steak. The fries that accompanied it were full of flavour and the roasted veg added to the experience. Delicious.

Great food and service. Star and the team was wonderful. Surf n turf was nicely cooked with a terrific peppercorn sauce. Tomato and peppers soup was tasty and satisfying. Tiramisu was not a traditional recipe but very light and full of the right flavours. Highly recommended.

There was a slight mix up with the booking and they apologised straight away (understood it was their issue not my booking - unlike Botanist! See that review) We had a fabulous evening seated upstairs with Arbor and Micheal. Arbor’s expertise in mixology and his presentations of the cocktails was informative and fun. What a fantastic hidden gem. Just had a Sunday roast here which was off the scale amazing. Every mouthful was so full of flavour with such good quality produce. The service was attentive and impeccable. They even made a fuss for our anniversary. I would give it ten stars if I could. Will definitely return and highly recommend 👌🏼

Located in the main City of Bath. Plenty of parking in local car parks but quite pricey & very busy. The venue has a nice entrance & once inside has a nice size hall & bar. There's also a Cafe with outdoor seating but I did not use that. I visited for a music gig, the sound & lightening engineers were very good. Staff were friendly. Would definitely return to this venue in the future

I Dropped by this establishment upon my travels through uk. Astonished with the service I received was on point Above and beyond from the staff. Charlie from Door staff were very professional welcomed me in. I opted to take a red wine and a in house meal. Tom was quick punctual on bar and got me my beverages fast, He even checked with me if my food was liking Management on shift Zach was very polite professional helped me get my food to my liking with allergies Also was very lucky enough to have live music whilst eating my meal What more can you ask from venue Great vibes Would recommend to pop by bath belushis bar

The food is great. Especially how they make the burger bun and the wrap look is just fantastic. The service has room to improve to be more attentive and proactive.

It's a Belushi's, this one is definitely a student bar. But don't let that put you off if you are not. You will have a good time, the vibe is good. Alot of screens for sports and apparently they have an amazing discount for students. The staff I met were very welcoming, friendly and attentive.

Nice place. Very attentive customer service. Came on a Monday afternoon so wasn't busy. Food came quickly, we had the chicken wrap, burger and wing plus some calamari. All were nice quality. Even left this review using the free wifi! Recommended

I had a lovely meal here this evening. The manager was amazing very attentive we wanted pizza but they had none left so she offered us 25% off our whole meal! Great burgers, lovely 241 cocktails and lovely service would eat here again! Thank you

Fantastic service, booked in advance paid a deposit for 10 of us. Food is as expected great bar food and beer and drink as expected, service was great and staff couldn't do enough for us ! All bar staff were legends but Amy went above and beyond ! Book in advance what a great bar.

Popped in for lunch and a cocktail on Saturday. Food overall was good - simple and well done. There seems to be a discrepancy between items available on the menu and app. Food took around 40 minutes to arrive after ordering, which is a little long but still within the realms of acceptability. However, what an okay food and drink experience could not make up for was the general inattentiveness of the staff. I totally understand that this is a venue with a relaxed atmosphere , but this isn’t excuse for sloppy service and a lack of attention to detail. For one, our food was delivered to the table without cutlery or napkins, maybe a bit of oversight, but it was finger food so, whatever. I was able to get hold of napkins myself, but the cutlery container was empty, I informed the staff. Around 10 minutes later, my pizza arrived; not sliced. The cutlery container remained empty and I asked staff if they could get us some cutlery, which they agreed. Over the next 15 minutes I made multiple trips to the cutlery container only to find it empty every time. Until I had to ask another member of staff, telling them that I had a pizza that I couldn’t eat because it isn’t sliced, rapidly getting cold because I could not get hold of cutlery. Only then did that member of staff produce a set of cutlery, clearly just hurriedly rinsed off in the sink or plucked off the drying rack. Despite the food being generally on the positive side, when taking into account the long wait, poor staff attitude of some staff and generally sloppy work ethic means that the sum of the experience is pretty negative. I have been to Belushi’s on occasion before, but today has been a fairly unenjoyable and frustrating experience, and I probably will think twice before coming here again when I want to have a relaxed time for cocktails and nibbles.

A discriminatory bouncer I’ve been going to the Common Rooms for over a year now. I’m a student in the city, I regularly recommend it to friends, and go there myself. It’s one of few actively queer spaces open late in the city, and so one I usually enjoy ending a night out in. However, last night, I went with my partner and this was absolutely not the case. On our way in, the bouncer was talking with some patrons of the bar about how it should be acceptable to make offensive jokes. This conversation stopped rather pointedly when myself and my partner arrived at the door (us both being PoC and queer). This already created an uncomfortable environment in a place i usually associated as being accepting. The bouncer then checked our legitimate IDs and attempted to reject our entry on the basis that he thought they were fake, as he claimed to not be able to feel the raised surnames on them. We at first left, offended that both of our legitimate IDs had been rejected for seemingly no reason. We could both clearly feel the raised names, I see no way I which he couldn’t. Given the conversation we had interrupted, I am left only to assume we were rejected on the basis of discrimination, whether for our race, sexuality, or gender, I am unsure. However, after a few minutes we returned to ask for his name. Upon our walking back, we heard him comment to other patrons “here we go”, this treatment was both patronising and rude, highly unprofessional for a bouncer. He declined to give his name, claiming he was not police and did not have to give any details (something I assume is not policy, but massively impedes accountability for someone in a role with considerable power and often dealing with vulnerable people). I then asked to speak with another member of staff. He at first declined, but luckily a member of staff was in the smoking area and so checked over our IDs. This was Georgii, who immediately could feel the raised surnames and that our IDs were legitimate. To confirm this, Georgii then got a UV light. The bouncer, upon assuming our IDs to be fake again, then loudly proclaimed “Ha!” (Something again, not only childish and unprofessional, but actively quite aggressive). The UV did in fact, however, prove that our IDs were real, and so we were allowed into the club. Georgii apologised and offered us a free shot each, handling the situation very well. However, I can’t help but feel had we not been so lucky as to have Georgii in the smoking area would have been left rejected by a bouncer, who is either actively discriminating against patrons, or utterly incapable of distinguishing a real ID from a fake one. I can’t help but feel, even with Georgii’s excellent conflict resolution, disappointed by a bar that I had previously seen as inclusive. For the sake of accountability, while I did not get the bouncer’s name, he was working on 13/12/24, we arrived at around 2:00 am. I am shocked and actually quite hurt by the discrimination we faced last night, and will think twice before returning to the Common Rooms again.

Amazing staff from bar to door, not only LGBT+ friendly but supportive, decent prices for the area, open later than most and great music

Josh, the security guard, was incredible at diffusing a situation with an older creepy gentleman who had repeatedly tried to gain entry. Despite the man’s attitude Josh dealt with him with respect and prevented the situation from escalating despite the abuse he was receiving. If only all security were like this!

Absolutely lovely team, welcoming and professional. Chilled place to hang out late afternoon/early evening (new Pool Table upstairs) and a vibrant, cocktail and music-orientated bar into the late hours. RECOMMENDED

Wanted to leave a couple of bottles of prosecco on the table for a hen do i couldn't attend. Totally impossible! No phone number and no response to emails and Instagram messages. How can you run a business when your customers can't contact you?

If you like to party until late, this is your place. They close the doors like at 3am, the lastest in Bath. Nice bar, affordable price taking into account that you are in the UK...

I booked this bar for a birthday party, met the manager, discussed minimum spend and having the top bar to ourselves. Paid the deposit etc. We turned up on the night and they had no recollection of our booking leaving 45 people wondering what do. The poor bar girl who wasn’t expecting us had to try and serve a huge number of people as they didn’t have enough staff to man the top bar. It a put a real damper on what was meant to be a special occasion. Icing on the cake is that they haven’t refunded my deposit for booking the room. I wouldn’t trust booking this place out in future which is a real shame.

Barely a gay pub. I went on Saturday night and there were two large hen parties and at least one other large straight group. Being bumped into by pissed straight women is not what I go into a gay bar for. I'm usually the type of person that says it's better to compromise than lose a gay bar but on the basis of tonight we may as well have gone to a straight bar and had as much fun. Credit to the DJ for the music which was good. I would have given one star but the DJ won them an extra star for playing RuPaul and it was funny to watch the girls on the dance floor confused at what they were dancing to...which says it all.

Had an incredible night on Karaoke tonight! Also wanted to give a huge shout out to your doorman Mike. He’s an absolute asset to your team, kindest bouncer I’ve ever met and felt extremely safe in your venue which is unusual in a bar/nightclub. All round excellent experience.

Wow! What an awesome night. All good vibes round. Even tho we were from South Africa we felt right at home. The barmen and manager were so great to us. Thank you Mandalyns for being the only bar in Bath having karaoke on Thursdays, it was lit! And a massive shout to the MC Queen Phillipa Bucket. She was so loving and funny x

So rude people work there , especially the security there.I am a Greek visitor and I went there just for a drink by myself. One girl invited me to dance with her and because I didn’t liked her she said to the security to make me leave because “I didn’t behave well”. And the security grabbed me from my hand and pulled me outside.Also the manager agreed to that. I am a very decent man and it was the first time in my life that happened to me. There is no respect of the human rights,zero manners and very dirty….from all the ways

I was very happy with the bar service , the atmosphere was great but I felt very uncomfortable again on my second visit due to the doorperson. Who came across as very aggressive and racist . Last night I had to call police as he physically man handled me and showed me handcuffs . Threatened me that he would follow me to my home if I reported him . Be careful anybody female or black or actually he just doesn't like . I am seeing the police today to report him . I want to know what security firm allows and encourages their staff to threaten single woman or anyone in general . I shall investigate this also

If you want a fun, friendly and social bar to go to, you’re in for a treat with Mandalyns. The bouncers, staff and punters made our weekend. We ended up going back second night on the run, as we made lots of friends, had a good dance. I’d recommend the ps. I lust you cocktail invented by the wonderful bar man there. Also, there’s a 15 shots for £20 offer, now that’s a bargain. Say hi to Adam and Matt on the door, they were so lovely, kept us safe and had a good laugh in the time we were there. Thank you Mandalyns, if we were local, we’d be locals xx
