Boston Tea Party Alfred Street is a trendy cafe located in the city center, boasting the largest alfresco terrace in Kingsmead Square. As one of the first establishments of this independent chain, it offers a contemporary cafe experience with a menu featuring sustainable ingredients. The cafe is known for its commendable sourcing policy and popular dishes like The Boss, sweetcorn hash, and Shakshuka.
I had a wonderful experience at Boston Tea Party on Alfred Street. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. I also loved the cozy and relaxed atmosphere it’s a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or brunch. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again! 💚💚

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The space, staff, food, and what they stand for left a lasting impression. I felt loved and cared for, much like when someone cooks a special meal for you. Moreover, I felt by dining here I was helping to create positive change in the world.
Michele K — Google review
Boston Tea Party in Bath is easily one of the standout brunch spots in the city. The atmosphere is lively without feeling chaotic, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food genuinely tastes crafted rather than just served. If you love a brunch that’s full of flavour and personality, this is the place. The highlight of the menu for me has to be their sweetcorn hash with guac, halloumi and maple syrup. I can’t recommend it enough. The sweetcorn hash is perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavour. Paired with creamy guacamole, salty halloumi, and that touch of sweetness from the maple syrup, it’s honestly a brunch masterpiece. One thing to note is that you can’t book in advance, but that’s just their policy, and it actually keeps the experience relaxed and fair. It does get busy during peak times, but once you’re seated and the food arrives, you’ll understand exactly why people wait. Whether you’re local or visiting Bath, make sure Boston Tea Party is on your list. Great food, great vibes, and easily one of the best brunch dishes I’ve ever had. 🌽🧀🥑🍁☕ Highly recommended!
Yuv R — Google review
Such a lovely place to eat with a really lovely atmosphere. I was able to sit outside on the sunshine and watch the world go by. It's situated on a cross roads by a square so a nice viewpoint. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious (beware the seagulls who love salmon though!) Also the best Chai latte I've ever had. I'd definitely visit again
Hannah K — Google review
We both had a fantastic meal here. We got seated well, despite it being a busy time. We were kindly warned about food wait time, but food still arrived quickly. The range of options was great, especially with non-gluten containing foods. The strawberry and banana smoothie was amazing!
Nadia M — Google review
Really great venue, such a unique space. Huge room with dramatic sky light. Nowhere else like it in Bath. Coffee & juices excellent. Enjoyed my bacon bap with great hash browns. Young staff but very much on the ball. Recommended.
Andrew S — Google review
Visiting Bath for the weekend, we chose this spot because it was close to our hotel—and it turned out to be a great find! The food was unbelievably delicious 😋 and the vibe inside was relaxed and stylish . We even left with some new reusable travel mugs 🧳♻️. That said, there’s room for improvement in customer service to make the experience even better. Overall, a memorable visit! 👍
Popo E — Google review
Popped in for a t/a bacon bun before work. Options where for a BUN either white, wholemeal or sourdough. So i ordered sourdough. When I got to work I was mortified to unwrap it and see it consisted of the thinest sliced bread imaginable (and end of loaf!), with ameasley couple of bits of bacon. I got charged £6.50 for this! Absolute rip off! I was not informed that the sourdough option would come in sliced bread option: I would not have ordered it. Do not give customers something different. Service efficient but not friendly and no smiles to be seen anywhere. Avoid.

Cafe
Breakfast restaurant
Nestled on a charming cobbled street in Bath, Wild Cafe is a cozy eatery offering dishes made from locally sourced and organic ingredients. The cafe's open kitchen allows guests to watch their food being prepared while enjoying a fun and friendly atmosphere. Known for its brunch options like bacon pancake stack, eggs benedict, and full English breakfast, the cafe also operates as a guesthouse with an adjacent next-level brunch spot.
Really lovely cafe. Had the most amazing pancakes! Welcoming staff and quick service. Funky decor. Just got information the toilet is pretty inaccessible if you have any physical disabilities/difficulties as it's down some tricky stairs and you have to duck under a low beam.
Lucy S — Google review
Cute quaint cafe tucked away near the city centre. The large windows are decorated really nicely and the interior feels really cosy. Our food was lovely and served very quickly! The ice teas were sublime
K — Google review
We were visiting Bath and decided to stop by this café. The staff were really kind, and the food was amazing, I personally recommend the Eggs Benedict or the Wild Breakfast. The place has a great atmosphere, and if you get bored, you can try spotting the Millennium Falcon!
Carlotta I — Google review
Really disappointing takeaway sandwich. One slice of bread, a few bits of halloumi, and some sauce for £10 a head. We felt shortchanged & hungry afterwards. Lovely staff though, it was just very poor value for money.
Will — Google review
We had such a nice time at the café with our family. The pancakes were amazing!! Mimka was wonderful – cheerful, patient and really attentive (her suggestions were very helpful as I’m quite indecisive). She made us feel so welcome and was fantastic with my picky children at our table which made the whole visit so much easier and more enjoyable. A lovely place for families to come ❤️
Chesta B — Google review
Lovely staff and being able to sit outside was lovely, however the coffee and pancakes were highly disappointing and nothing like the photos we saw online.
Luke W — Google review
I think Wild Cafe is a bit overrated. The breakfast I had was okay.. not the worst I've ever had, not the best. The atmosphere was nice - it is quaint and quite quirky, overall quite nice. The service was alright? It felt more like they wanted to be quite fast with everything to get you out to get more people in, maybe because they have no booking system but meant I didn't want to stay any longer to order more drinks etc. Just overall - not the best experience, not the worst. I would probably try some other breakfast places in Bath.
Anna — Google review
My friend and I came here for a weekend brunch, and were very happy overall with our experience. The restaurant interior is bright and airy, and we were lucky enough to sit in a window bar seat. Our waitress was polite and friendly, and our food arrived quickly. It’s table service, with final bills settled at the counter. The food itself was delicious: each component of the Wild Beans & Avo breakfast was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. We’ll definitely return.

Rosarios is a cozy coffee shop that offers light meals inspired by Italian cuisine. Located in a charming Grade II listed building with outdoor seating, it's a popular spot for breakfast and indulging in freshly-baked Italian pastries paired with quality coffee or their renowned hot chocolates. The menu includes gluten-free options influenced by the owner's native Sicily and the British West Country, making it an appealing choice for those with dietary restrictions.
Awesome place in Bath central area. We were looking for pastries and we found this place. We tried the Lemon Cheesecake which was delicious. The service was outstanding, super welcoming form beginning to the end. They have loads of options of pastries to try. Totally recommended.
Bruno S — Google review
Good food, but expensive for the amount you get. Went to Rosario's for breakfast and was impressed by the taste of the food, however for almost £15 each I'd expect a bit more than one small sausage, one slice of toast (cut into two) and two rashers of bacon. If you want extra bacon it's an extra 1.75 per rasher, so I got three in total for a £16 breakfast. Quality wise it's great, but value wise there are better options nearby.
Ben — Google review
We had two cappuccino and one lemon cake here. Coffee was really good however lemon cake was old and taste like fridge. Hope you understand what I meant. It tasted like they’ve put it into the fridge without covering it with anything.
Hanna — Google review
My wife and I had six canolies between us as part of the meal deal they have on offer. A lovely price for some very delicious sweet treats. The coffee and Moroccan mint tea were also lovely and well presented. A lovely afternoon treat.
Sam G — Google review
Probably the best toasted Panini I’ve ever had! Incredible quality fillings! My wife is Gluten Free & this place had so many incredible options for her…… both savory & sweet! Best GF options in Bath by some way! Can’t believe it’s took us until now to find this place as we come up a lot from Devon……. This will be our go too now!
Glynn W — Google review
Well recommended Italian Cafe in the heart of the City, serving amazing Sicilian cakes and cannoli as well as great coffee, hot paninis etc...outsid seating or up the stairs for inside seating, service was prompt and very friendly, the coffee and sweet cannoli were excellent and a great pick me up during a day of shopping and sightseeing, thanks Rosario 😊
Glen A — Google review
Wow what a find! Dropped in for a hot chocolate and something to eat, sausage sandwich, which was fantastic. The staff were fast and friendly and willing to chat. Seat available upstairs as well, so lots of space around tables. To end, probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had!
Mark C — Google review
I was a little disappointed with Rosario’s, having heard great things from friends. The potato cake with mushrooms was underwhelming in taste and price. However, I will return and try another option soon, I have high hopes!

The Kingsmead Kitchen is a laid-back, modern cafe-bar located in the historic and leafy Kingsmead Square in Bath. It's a popular spot known for its delicious breakfast offerings, including classic full English breakfast, fluffy omelettes, and the unique Cowboy Beans dish. The cafe prides itself on using locally-sourced ingredients to create traditional dishes with a European twist. In addition to breakfast options, they also serve smoothies, salads, toasted sandwiches, pastries and cakes.
Had a full English and flat white. Delicious! The homemade potatoes and boar sausage were amazing, and the eggs were some of the best I’ve had. Very good coffee, too!
Andee B — Google review
Had a great breakfast here. Eggs - well cooked and seasoned Beans - Nice Mushrooms- Very good, but could have had more Hash Brown - Had a nibble of it, I don’t particularly like them but that’s a personal thing. Bacon - Very tasty Sausages - I prefer them a bit longer, but they were very good. The only minor annoyance was the toast, which was really just warm bread. It tasted like the toast you get at hospitals. Hot chocolate delightful.
Barry C — Google review
It was early morning in Bath, and I needed breakfast. I wasn’t sure where to go, so I took a chance on this place, and I’m glad I did! The staff were welcoming and quickly set up a table for me. As soon as I decided what I wanted, they were right on it, all while making sure other guests were happy with their meals and keeping the outdoor area and tables clean for new customers. Yes, that’s standard, but the pace they were working at, and how quietly they managed it, despite carrying loads of plates and cutlery, was genuinely impressive. You usually expect a bit of noise with all that, but the calm atmosphere was a really nice touch. The only thing I’ll note is that a couple of staff members seemed a bit moody, but that could’ve been down to a long week or just an off day. When the food arrived, I can honestly say it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. The bacon looked crispy and was exactly how I’d asked, crispy on the edges but still soft. The eggs had perfectly runny yolks, and the bread was both crispy and soft, making the whole meal easy and enjoyable to eat. Not a single struggle! Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back if I’m ever in the area again around breakfast time. It was just delightful. And as a side note, considering I live in London, I thought the prices were totally reasonable. No complaints there!
John J — Google review
After wandering around Bath looking for somewhere that did all-day breakfast, we discovered The Kingsmead Kitchen! It was everything we wanted & more! The breakfasts were delicious, as were the tea, hot chocolate orange & apple juice! The staff were charming & so helpful. The background music was an added bonus - not intrusive at all, but a wonderful mix of songs that made this vintage gal very happy! Next time I visit Bath, I will come back.
Claire A — Google review
Not nice. Not cheap either. Tourist trap. I had Feijoada. £15.50! It was salty, tinned food/ airplane food vibe. I love that they had it on the menu, it was also recommended by the staff so I ordered that. This is a some sort of crime. The smoothies £6.40, out of a bottle, not fresh.
O I — Google review
Great spot for breakfast and the lunch menu looked tempting too. Only minor gripe would be that my son’s vegan breakfast was a little lacking vs. the meaty alternative. He’s a hungry bugger though! Coffee is very high quality.
John M — Google review
Lovely avocado and scrambled eggs and stunning halloumi salad with pitta, highly recommend for a light lunch!

We popped in for a quick bite. Nothing special. Fresh food. Service, many young people. My eggs were actually quite tasty. Partner wasn’t complaining about his food either. Good experience overall.

Bill's Bath Restaurant is a popular European chain offering separate menus for breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch, and dinner. The branch in Bath is known for its quality and serves breakfast until midday during the week and 1pm on weekends. Their Garden Breakfast, featuring vegetarian options with poached free range eggs, halloumi, roasted plum tomatoes, avocado, hollandaise sauce, mixed seeds and toast is highly recommended.
I had an excellent experience during my visit! The food and drinks were top-notch, and everything was spotlessly clean. I particularly want to shout out to the server, who was speedy and professional—I wish I could remember his name! The atmosphere was perfect for enjoying the menu variety on offer. Overall, a fantastic time and I left feeling really satisfied!

Stopped in just after opening and was seated straight away. Friendly staff with prompt service. My breakfast was presented well and while it tasted ok it wasn't what I was expecting for the price. I noticed the HP sauce bottle, while full, was well used. Now, this could be full of the same product or not, who knows 😁.
Darren W — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at Bill’s Bath! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the Parmigiana and Halloumi Fries. What stood out even more was the exceptional service. Despite arriving just minutes before closing, the staff were genuinely welcoming, patient, and attentive, showing absolute professionalism and hospitality. Thank you to the team (and Matt, who took my order) for ending the evening positively. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
SUBHATTAM B — Google review
Excellent service. Delicious food. We were served by a wonderful waitress Aninha, attentive, positive and fast. We took 3 courses from the menu and did not regret it. We will definitely visit Bill’s next time we are in Bath.

Great food and service! Shout out to Matt and Liz who were excellent hosts. The sisters will most definitely be back. Thanks again

We came to bills bath on an extremely busy Friday, with graduation going on the crowds were everywhere! Despite this bills did not disappoint, eating out with a dairy allergy is always a difficult task. We used the QR code our server told us about to see exactly what everything included and we settled on a sharing platter for our starters a chicken schnitzel and a burger for the mains. The sharing platter came with dumplings which had dairy in, our server informed us of this and brought them over in an entirely different small dish so they did not contaminate the rest of the platter which was a lovely touch. Our waitress was able to put vegan cheese ontop of the burger we ordered which was also a lovely touch as it allowed my daughter to feel normal. Overall the service and attention to detail was wonderful and we definitely will be coming back, we are interested to try the salted caramel tart that is vegan!

We wandered into Bill's just for a drink. Our waiter was quick and efficient, providing excellent service. Since it was raining, we moved inside, where Liz and Ana went above and beyond to show us what wonderful hospitality looks like. They were knowledgeable about local fare and even surprised one member of our group with a thoughtful gift. Unbeknownst to us, they took the time to run to a nearby store while we enjoyed our drinks and returned with a bag of crumpets for the person who had never heard of or tasted them before. We will definitely be recommending Bill's in Bath to everyone we know visiting from the US, just as we did.
Elisha E — Google review
We expected it to be busy on a Saturday night, so a reservation is essential so the five of us were seated quickly. There was a long wait—almost an hour—before we realised the time and checked on our order, then staff offered genuine apologies, and our meals arrived soon after. Our meals were delicious, with generous portions and great value for money. The Christmas menu is a treat and the atmosphere was buzzing. Although the team was clearly stretched, they remained genuinely friendly and apologetic about the delay, ensuring we had time to enjoy our meals before heading to the theatre. We had a great time. Bills is one of our Bath favourites because the staff always go out of their way.

Cosy Club is a british restaurant with eclectic decor and cosy furnishings. It offers bottomless brunch for £25, with unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys or prosecco added to any of the dishes on the menu. The menu is full of all your favourites for brunch - pancakes, huevos rancheros, smashed avo on toast, as well as vegan and vegetarian choices.
A really lovely chain option in the heart of Bath. Cosy Club does it's usual formula of providing an off-street Cafe with relaxing vibes and consistent good quality, with the added bonus of a lovely balcony area overlooking the busy square. The food was good, well presented, reasonably priced, and with great options for kids. Coffees were good too, nothing special but reasonably well made. Highchairs were available, and service was incredibly friendly.

Breakfast for two. It's a great spot in Central Bath and always nice to sit on the terrace. The staff were very good and attentive. Food was as good as usual. Great gluten free menu. Poached eggs were a little over done, otherwise a good experience.

We had lunch here. The halloumi & hot honey and chicken salad were great. The goat cheese salad was alright. The waiters were brilliant as usual. I can suggest eating here by enjoying great atmosphere

Brilliant place! We've been to many of the "Lounge" restaurants, but this was our first Cosy Club. We liked it very much indeed. I had the Vegan Burger. BEST I'VE HAD ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD ! My partner had Sea Bass. She said it was EXCELLENT. Staff were brilliant too, especially THEO who was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. A really great evening. Thanks everyone. We will return next time we are in Bath. **If it's warm enough, eat on the outdoor balcony.

Decided to grab a bite for brunch here during my day visit to Bath and ordered an English Breakfast Tea and the Garden Brunch. Overall the food was really solid, service was good, and the price wasn't unreasonable like most things in Bath.
Kevin B — Google review
The first person we encountered was nonchalant to the point of rudeness, and both him and his uniform could have done with a clean, but then we also had a French woman who was friendly. This is a very impressive place and we sat on the balcony which was great. The breakfast was good overall and in spite of the mixed service I would recommend this place.

Popped into the Cosy club for lunch, what a good decision that was, the food and service were excellent. Never really think about coming here when were in town, but I'm glad we did today... If you haven't been for a while pop in you won't be disappointed 10/10 👍

The Green Rocket is a spacious and bright vegetarian and vegan cafe located within walking distance of the station. The airy dining room with high ceilings and large windows provides plenty of natural light, making it a great spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While the cafe is situated on a busy road, there are quieter areas inside where guests can work without distractions. The menu features vibrant dishes with options like artichoke fysh cake infused with oceanic flavors from seaweed.
We had a lovely time at The Green Rocket. The risotto was creamy and tasty, but the burger could be better. The pistachio tart was amazing—probably the best vegan dessert I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant is in a nice spot in Bath. I definitely recommend it!

I stopped in for brunch and was welcomed right away by the friendly staff and shown to a table. I ordered an oat chai latte, which was so good I couldn’t resist having a second. The huevos rancheros was tasty —crispy tortillas, well-seasoned pinto beans, soft scrambled tofu, and fresh avocado (not brown or soggy, always a win!) Portion size was quite generous. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed and comfortable. Definitely a spot I’d like to return to.

A lovely, purely vegan menu is so nice to see. We had tacos, corn, and the burger and all were amazing (didn't stop to take photos unfortunately). 5 vegan puddings to choose from is quite the treat, I can't resist sticky toffee pudding and I wasn't disappointed!

Had brunch here recently and deeply regretted it. Given the good ratings and juicy pictures I thought it was worth a go but it turned out every bit of food on my plate was both bland and at the same time too salty. Vegan food can be great, but this place really does it a disservice, especially at this price point.

Delicious gluten-free bread and English breakfast! The cafe had such a nice ambience, and you can see the abbey from the window. As a vegan Celiac, I was very content.

Best place we've been so far in Bath for food! Friendly attentive service, really lovely relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I can just imagine coming back to read a book with a tea. We had the monster brekky and it was so delicious!! I'd give it 12/10 if I could. Love it.

The food was absolutely phenomenal, some of the best I’ve had as a vegan eating out in so long. The deserts especially were incredible, specifically the ice cream sandwich and crumble. All the starters were delicious and the burger and tacos stood out as the mains. Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans. Prices are super reasonable too and the service was great, lovely staff. 10/10!

Cafe au Lait is a charming, family-run coffee shop located just outside the Bath Spa train station. It's known for its delicious breakfast and brunch offerings, including pancakes and toasties. The cafe is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike to grab a warm drink or indulge in a bottomless brunch experience. In addition to its delectable food, Cafe au Lait also offers luggage storage for patrons who want to explore the city before catching their train.
Had a great breakfast here on our first day in Bath. We went for the breakfast bap which was loaded and really tasty. Coffee was good and the girls who served us were really friendly. There was good seating spread across 2 sections (watch the step!) of the cafe. They brought water over as soon as sat down too which is something I always appreciate. It is also right opposite the station, which is handy if you are coming in on train.

Best brunch in bath! Cosy and intimate cafe located right opposite the train station. I got the biscoff pancakes which were perfect if you have a sweet tooth. The portion was massive and they tasted divine. Service was lovely and the food came very quickly. Would love to come here again in the future!

This place serves consistently good food :) Staff has always been friendly. Clearly there's a lot of new staff needing some training, but considering I've visited on a Saturday morning, where they're usually pretty busy, they did a pretty good job in my opinion. Will definitely come back with friends

Absolute find! What a gem of a place. Fantastic service, very attentive. Great location, wonderful atmosphere, and the food is sublime! 1000% recommend. We went for the bottomless brunch, which includes 1 breakfast dish (i had eggs Benedict.. which was super) and one pancake dish. With bottomless Peroni, Prosecco,Mimosa, or Orange Juice. I like the fact that they brought over ice buckets with the beers and Prosecco, so you didn't have to keep asking for refills. My only 1 criticism (and it's only small) I wish they would include coffee in the bottomless package. At £40 a head is good value. But paying for an additional coffee with my breakfast seems a bit silly when it is cheaper than the beer or Prosecco. However we would return, the food and service was second to none. Toilets are located down some steep steps, so may be a problem if you had any mobility issues.

Cafe Au Lait is a fantastic place to eat! The service was excellent, making the entire dining experience pleasant and enjoyable. The location is lovely, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the pancakes. The chef at Cafe Au Lait makes the best pancakes I have ever had! If you are a fan of pancakes, this is the place to go. They are absolutely worth every penny. Chef, take a bow! Your pancakes are simply divine!

We had a lovely visit with our dogs today, it had obviously been busy but we were sat quickly and offered a corner table that the dogs could settle under. There was a lovely girl with red hair who offered some water for the dogs and was quick to take our offers for food and drink she was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, I had a halloumi and honey toastie and a sausage for my dog, she was struggling to settle after a long day but they were quick to bring her sausage so I could keep her busy and calm. I really appreciate the team being patient with us and making us feel so welcome during our visit. Definitely somewhere we will be returning to!

Great little cafe, perfect for a last minute Bath experience before boarding the next Train. The porridge with berry compote and caramelised banana is delicious, paired with a side of white hot chocolate is sheer perfection.
Reaction T — Google review
Really delicious brunch and we got lucky to get a spot as it quickly got very busy with a long queue of people waiting for a table. The staff were very friendly and kept smiling and calm even with it being full with more and more people asking for a table. However, my only feedback would be that as people were queuing we could hear staff saying I think they will be going soon while indicating to our table. This was said several times, we were by no means slow or sitting there wasting time/not making purchases. We were then watched by the waiting people and it made us leave sooner than we would have liked despite both of us wanting another hot drink. We were the seated guests enjoying what was a really yummy plate of food and lovely hot drinks, it would have been far nicer not to feel like we needed to rush our last mouthfuls and leave so more people could take our spot.

Rooted Cafe and Supper Rooms offers an eclectic menu with international flavors, featuring innovative vegetarian and vegan dishes made from seasonal produce. On the last Saturday of the month, they celebrate Britain's multi-cultural heritage with a special menu. The cafe also hosts supper clubs, so be sure to follow them on Instagram for updates. Located near Chelsea Road and Newbridge Road, this cozy venue has a covered outside space for alfresco dining.
An absolute triumph. As a pessimist to vegetarian food, this place has really opened my eyes to the culinary possibilities one can aspire to using vegetarian friendly produce. I went for brunch on a Sunday, with my veggie bf. I had the banana milkshake to drink. A perfect blend of banana flavour, milk and vanilla. Not one element was overpowering. He ordered some Indian drink I can’t quite name but he said it was very good. Wanting to test the establishment, I ordered the Sunday lunch, which was a vegetarian take on a beef wellington. It was incredibly creative. The “meat” consisted of oats and mushrooms mixed together, wrapped in a delightful pastry casing. It was superb and eye opening. The vegetable accompaniments were also incredible. So fresh! My bf had the Indian breakfast, which he said was divine. Then for dessert I had the brownie. A tad dry for my liking but still very good. A nice string dark chocolate flavour. I whole heartedly recommend this place for everyone, not just vegetarians! Please come and support it. A hidden gem in Bath

I absolutely love Rooted! Been eating here for several years now and I’ve always had a brilliant meal. Such delicious food that’s so unique - I could never cook anything like this at home. I had the full Indian breakfast (which I was too desperate to eat before taking a photo!) with some “Hot Honey Hash” that was amazing. Service was brilliant and all the staff were super friendly, particularly Georgina who looked after us so well; really attentive, knew the menu inside out and was so fun and friendly. One of my favourite spots in Bath for sure!

Rooted is an all around incredible place for food, the menu is super creative and full of choice! However! Their vegan roast is literally the best roast I’ve had in Bath, and I’d go as far as to say the best roast in the South West, get one, you won’t be disappointed ❤️

Lovely friendly staff complemented by incredible food. As a foodie with dietary restrictions (vegan and gluten free) it is rare to find a cafe/restaurant which serves food that doesn't feel like a compromise or inconvenience. In addition, the atmosphere is so beautifully chilled and welcoming. Smiles all round and we can't wait to return!

What a glorious place to eat. I've heard it gets very busy at the weekend, so glad we visited in the week. From the moment we walked in, the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly - without being over the top. I had already looked at the menu online, but was drawn away by a special - Facon Burger with apple wood smoked cheese, Facon chilli jam, gherkins and fries. What a glorious combination. I wolfed it down, yes I was hungry but it was just so good! The Mr had the spicy burrito - also excellent I'm led to believe. We weren't there for very long, but am already looking forward to going back very soon. If you're looking for somewhere slightly out of the way, with great food, great staff and a great atmosphere, then I suggest you give this place a go. You won't even notice that it's a meat free venue!!

Such a delicious breakfast and the staff are really lovely! Had the full Indian breakfast and it was seriously good. Loads of stuff can be made vegan or are vegan already. The only downside is not being able to try all the food all at once because I don't live in Bath 😭
Bethan L — Google review
Everything about our meal and dining experience last night was excellent. The menu, although not extensive (a good thing!) had a range of plant-based dishes and a few choice meat and fish dishes. Everything we had was completely delicious but totally sensational were the crispy potatoes ... who would have thought the humble potato could be. The Spanish wine was also lovely as were the staff. We will be back. Do not hesitate to go.

Visiting Bath and found this place online. Dog friendly and serves vegan food. Sounded good. Little way from the City Centre but easy to get to. Ideal. Had The Full Indian Breakfast which I can confirm is the most delicious breakfast I can ever remember having. Nice place. Great staff. Extensive menu. Good value. Go. Enjoy. Extremely highly recommended.

The Whole Bagel, located on one of Bath's bustling streets, has been serving up delicious bagels since 2007. Whether you choose to dine in the cozy split-level cafe or the serene courtyard, you'll be treated to a variety of freshly baked bagels filled with breakfast delights like locally-sourced bacon, smoked salmon with egg mayonnaise, or smashed avocado. The menu also features tantalizing options such as the Mighty Swiss and Chicken Caesar for lunch.
Best bagel I've had for years. Classic salmon and cream cheese was great. They also do gluten free bread as an option and have lactose free options.
M L — Google review
As a coeliac, I’m always a little apprehensive about eating out, but I was really impressed by this bagel spot in Bath. My gluten-free sandwich (brie and bacon) was delicious, with soft, moist bread that far surpassed the usual dry, crumbly fare that we often have to settle for. My partner had the brie and prosciutto on a regular bagel, and both were generously filled and packed with flavour. I paired mine with a mango and passion fruit smoothie, sweet, refreshing, and perfect for the hot day, though it was a bit thin in texture. Still, it did the job and helped cool us down. Service was a mixed bag: friendly and smiley throughout, but notably slow. My gluten-free sandwich took a long time to appear, while the regular bagel was prepared almost instantly. We had to ask several times after it, and the smoothie was also delayed while other orders came and went. I’m happy to give them the benefit of the doubt as it was a busy lunchtime, and perhaps the gluten-free prep was separate or they were simply overwhelmed. That said, the quality of the ingredients really stood out, and I think the pricing is more than fair for a tasty, filling lunch in a busy city like Bath. I especially appreciated that the whole menu was available with gluten-free bread, rather than just offering one or two limited options. The atmosphere was lovely, plenty of chatter, comfortable bench seating, and free water readily available (which was much appreciated in the heat). Despite the service hiccups, I’d definitely return. A great spot for a relaxed, inclusive, and tasty lunch.

Nice and calm place. The bagels were tasty. We had mighty swiss, French brie with prosciutto, and avocado with smoked salmon. Among them the salmon one was the best choice, but this not diminished the quality of the rest; they all were good. It’s a nice place if you wanna have a healthy breakfast.

The state of the casual dining scene in the UK continues to make me weep. Our attempt at introducing American sandwich culture to our shores is lazy, flawed and ungenerous. As can be clearly demonstrated in places like Whole Bagel. I made the fatal mistake of ordering the ‘New York’ bagel. I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy bagels from New York City itself so my expectations were way too high from the start. I was served a small, half toasted bagel with ONE slice of pastrami inside but lashings of mustard and salad. I basically had a salad and mustard bagel. It was bad. Just really really bad with no seasoning or flavour to the pastrami which seems almost impossible given pastrami is literally brined beef. The UK just needs to stop, we are getting it so wrong when it comes to American casual dining. Places like this are one of the reasons why I like Greggs so much. Our only hope is if I finally commit to opening a place - but I’m not sure the UK deserves it if it rates places like this 4/5 starts.

Very tasty bagels, very small portions. Would recommend as a snack, not a meal 🥯 We ordered the smashed avocado (not too bad but nothing special seasoning wise) and the green goddess chicken bagel which was that week's special. If it's back, I highly recommend it!

Came here because I thought they had gluten free bagels, which sadly they did not. But, they did have gluten free bread and made me a banging sandwich. The staff who worked here were so nice and friendly, and took extra time and care to make sure they changed gloves etc. Also, for the price, SO affordable… they STUFF these Sammies… delicious! I bought one for the train and will be dreaming about it.

We spend the day in Bath and after walking around town for a few hours we were looking for a casual dinning spot. This place was about to close but we’re still able to order for take-away. We got the Smoked Bacon & Brie bagel which was delicious and the New Yorker bagel which was also amazing. Great little place and would come again.

I recently stopped by The Whole Bagel for lunch whilst in Bath. The menu was great and there were a huge number of options to choose from. I went for a Chicken & Chorizo Bagel which was really delicious. The fillings were generous and flavoursome and overall I thought it was great value. The service was friendly, and we sat in their upstairs seating which was a nice spot for a quick lunch. If you're looking for a bite to eat in Bath that won't break the bank - The Whole Bagel is a great shout!

Brasserie
Browns Brasserie & Bar is a British chain brasserie and bar with lobster nights and afternoon tea in grand cafe setting. The menu features classic British dishes and signature cocktails, enjoyed all over the country in venues that are quintessentially British and rich in heritage.
Treated myself to a traditional afternoon tea while visiting Bath. The food was lovely and the waitress was too. She gave me ideas if where to visit. I was a solo guest but that wasn't a problem for the afternoon tea. I think the price was ok for the area, property and experience.
Sue A — Google review
We had the set Christmas meal at Browns in Bath, and while the atmosphere was pleasant, the experience left us disappointed. The food was okay but felt very overpriced at £95 per person, especially as no drinks were included. To add to this, our order was brought out incorrectly twice, though the staff did correct it promptly. Despite the nice setting, the cost and service issues made it hard to justify the price.
Dave B — Google review
Went there for breakfast and had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was great. We were there during the weekday and the place was quiet. Staff were attentive and nice. The lobster benedict was good though the lobster was rather small, the steak was also quite thin though the dishes were reasonably priced in my opinion.
Pakkapol L — Google review
Been to Browns a few times now and it is a lovely place to grab lunch. Had the padron peppers for nibbles and wasn't too impressed as they were undercooked and too crispy. The mains were amazing however. We had the Lobster and the Lobster linguine which were both faultless. The dessert (ice cream) was a bit meh... Have had better but also worse. Shout out to the waitress Yin Lee who made the whole experience entertaining and who made us feel welcomed and valued.

Had a lovely dining experience at Browns in Bath! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the service truly stood out. A special thanks to our waiter, Menino, who was warm, attentive, and made our evening extra enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Firstly The service was outstanding from YIN-LEE, she was lovely and very friendly. She made our experience great and we felt welcomed. Always brought our drinks out fast and would always have a quick chat and a laugh which enhanced our experience greatly. Whatever she is getting paid she needs a raise :) The main courses that we both had were perfect and really tasty. And the cocktails we had were also very nice, (price is a bit steep but that’s just cocktails in general) I thought the food prices were pretty good considering the quality of our mains. Only bad thing was that both of our starters came out extremely cold with just a hot plate. You can tell it was cooked fresh but had been waiting to be served for at least 7-10 minutes. Shame really because I’m sure it would have been nice if it was hot. But other than that we both really enjoyed our night out and would come again and hopefully have the same waitress. Many thanks!

EDIT MANAGER HERE LIES! TOLD HEAD OFFICE I DIDN'T COMPLAIN ON THE NIGHT BUT I ACTUALLY DID! LIERS! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, FOOD IS VILE! Had an awful night here. MD extremely rude on arrival. We were placed at a table next to the toliets and bar, the seats however were not nice & being disabled i was not able to sit in them. The MD dismissed me & took no care in the fact that I am a disabled customer & when my husband went over her said the restaurant was full and no one could be moved, we later realised that was a load of rubbish because we saw empty tables. We were about to leave as I couldn't stay seated when the lovely waitress came over with a different chair and swapped it for me, she herself could see i was struggling and found a solution, without being asked and actually cared and made sure I was OK. Moving on to the food. What a disappointment! My husband ordered a prawn cocktail, he got some prawns on a plate with a couple of leafs and some sauce on the side, I ordered the crab on toast, the bread wasn't toasted. Mains my husband had the steak, it was dry, over cooked, not even the standard knob of butter on top, green beans as an extra, frozen rubbish over cooked as well, fries were nice though. I ordered the breaded chicken with a salad and clearly stated I only wanted rocket, got sent a said with tomato and reddish, waitress saved the day and spotted it and quickly sent it back, I waited 5 minutes for the salad. Tried the chicken, I couldn't even cut it it was dry with a weird texture and after a few mouthfuls I gave up. It was gross, the waitress again, lovely, agreed it wasn't right, offered a replacement but I gave up at this point and she did remove the chicken from our bill. However, the full mouthfuls i had eaten, along with the under cooked crab, I felt very sick very quickly and within about 2 hours I did throw up. On plus side the cocktails we had were pretty good. Need to talk about our waitress, I don't know her name, Asian lady, she is a credit to the restaurant, infact she's too good for the restaurant, she should be in a higher vendor place where her stills are more valued. She was charming, caring and funny and I appreciated every single thing she done that night. We normally tip more than the standard but we didn't feel the restaurant deserved it but I did slip her a gift card I had because how she helped me with my disabilities was amazing and yeah I felt bad that I didn't enjoy my meal. Some friendly advice, those couple of steps in, wheelchair users can't get up so no idea who they get it, but maybe tell your MD if he sees a disabled customer struggling with the steps, just offer a hand. The pull door to toliet needs to be changed, it's way to heavy and disabled people like to dry their hands too so please fix the dryer. I suggest to people to try the browns in Bristol instead, it's bigger, they haven't stripped out all the character from the place and I have never been made ill after eating there. You would have got 0 starts, stars were purely for the wonderful waitress whom you don't deserve

Gareth was absolutely amazing and was very speedy and even gave us freebies when food items weren’t available on the menu. The food was delicious and you get your moneys worth when ordering unlimited tapas. The atmosphere was quiet on a Sunday night which was great however the heating was on full blast and we were all sweating a lot! Other than that I would highly recommend!

Very good meal, lovely service. While a chain it looks and feels much more like an independent restaurant compared to most high street restaurant chains, good sized portions. Not too busy/noisy for comfort. Much better than expected.

I am writing regarding an order I placed through Uber Eats. I ordered a Tacho Bundle, and in the Chipotle Chicken Tachos, the chicken was either spoiled or undercooked, and it had a very bad smell. I tried to contact the store, but no one answered. When I took one of them to eat the smell was even stronger, and upon checking more closely, I noticed the chicken was clearly not right. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I wanted to bring it to your attention.
Ajeesh K — Google review
Diabolical Bruch - Clearly understaffed, the service was slow (albeit polite and friendly) and it took about 90 minutes to get any food. The portion sizes are minute, with the driest chicken burger I have ever eaten and an inexcusable paucity of chips; a culinary abomination. The jugs of cocktails were fairly fast flowing, albeit you get what you are given and any a la carte drinks requests take an inordinate amount of time to arrive. I don’t blame the front of house staff, they were trying their best, but clearly there are issues in the kitchen (quality and capacity) for the management to deal with. Overall, I would avoid and could not recommend.

Strong drinks a plus, tasty food. Paltry servings and poor service. Arrived at 5:40 pm. Waited 5 min to be seated, no staff around and plenty of tables. Ordered the Taste of Mexico (quesadilla & fajitas). Only two small slices of chicken in the fajitas and the quesadilla was made from a 6” tortilla. Beans and rice, the cheap stuff, of average size. Not busy at all waited 10 min to take drink order, fortunately I ordered food at that time. Drink came in timely manner. Waited 25 min for the food. Possibly time of day but no excuse for the pathetic serving size, especially for the price.

Fantastic, faultless bottomless brunch experience 🌟 Our waitress was such good fun, we were never left wondering when we were going to be served as she was on the ball. The curry I ordered was delicious, however quite small, I imagine as it was from the BB menu, I'm just glad I ordered a side! The spiral staircase to the toilets was a bit of a trek, especially after so many cocktails. This can't be helped but just something to be aware of. I did end up spending around £12 more than the advertised BB cost on the website (no idea why) however I still felt it was well worth the price. I would visit Las Iguanas again, bottomless brunch or otherwise.

With a light and airy dining room, it offers all-day dining and aims to provide a relaxed atmosphere for feasting and drinking.
We come here for dinner sometimes and it's always a lovely experience. However, we've been coming more lately because they serve amazing breakfast! We always get the Paratha with spiced scrambled eggs with Masala beans, and a side of Aloo Browns! It's delicious. It’s such a nice change from all the other brunch places. They also offer a vegan alternative, as well as their take on the English Breakfast and the usual stuff. And they also recommend a chai and cardamom cake - both delicious! The staff are so lovely and friendly.

I had the pleasure of dining at Bandook Kitchen with my husband tonight, and it was fantastic! We started with the pani puri and Bandook chaat, both bursting with flavor. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality specially thanks to Mr. Moe the owner of 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧. The staff was attentive and made us feel welcomed throughout our visit. such a lovely place, solid 10/10. me and my boyfriend were visiting bath today for the first time and wanted indian food for dinner, it was my birthday( which we never told the staff about anyways), and we recieved such a lovely meal, so delicious 🫶🏻🫶🏻 we requested the food to not be spicy as my boyfriend usually cannot handle spicy food even though he likes it, and they made the food very mild but still tasted so flavourful. The staff checked on us just the right amount- not overstepping nor leaving us to wave aimlessly. If we’re in bath anytime soon, would def be back here !!

It's the first 'Lounge' to open outside of Bristol, set over two floors with an excellent house wine, cocktails at minimum prices, and top-notch coffee. The cafe is part of The Lounges brand, aiming to provide a homey atmosphere with delicious food and drinks available every day.
Had a great brunch. Restaurant has a hip eclectic vibe and friendly atmosphere. Food was very tasty. AM clientele were a mixture of home office type using the communal space and regular restaurant goers.

Another great lounge restaurant. Good and fast service with friendly staff. Was quite busy on a Sunday but we were able to get a table for 4. Really bright and fun decor and a nice cozy feel. Chicken club ciabatta was insane !!

Pretty poor experience. This is my least favourite Lounge of all I have visited. We had to send two drinks back- one because it had a hair in it (!) and the second because it was barely lukewarm despite being ordered as extra hot. Staff replaced drinks but seemed irritated at doing so, no apology. Not a particularly friendly or welcoming vibe. Came here once before in the winter and there seemed to be no heating, so another unenjoyable experience. All in all not somewhere I’d return to again!

Lots of vegan options, very quick service, and delicious flavors! The staff was super attentive and friendly, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect with our order. We really appreciated the great service!

The service here is top class👌 James the new manager was fantastic. I had a WiFi disaster at home and needed a place to work. He let me use the Velo internet before they started serving, which meant I could make my morning meeting and have a coffee as soon as Velo opened. The food can be hit and miss, the food can be hit and miss depending what you have (I recommend the avocado toast 🥑) Top place would recommend. Better than all the other Lounges 🤙

First of all I would like to say the service was excellent. The food was also well presented and delicious. The restaurant is well decorated and eye catching and comfortable. The location is really good as the area has its own ambience. The staff polite and attentive. On observation the tables were in need of a good clean. It also has a water station, wonderful but again not so clean. There was also a spray bottle of table wipe and cloth here. Even when tables were cleared they were not wiped. Generally it was surely a busy place, visited at around 3 p.m. The place was in need of alittle more time spent to really improve customer satisfaction. On entry to restaurant/ cafe boxes from a delivery sat on floor. Detail is everything to some people. I have marked it 3 stars. I believe it could very easily be improved.

THE place to eat for breakfast! Exceptional food and friendly service.....and the seating goes a lot further back than you'd realise! No one could fault anything about what we collectively ate and drank. We returned in the evening too for drinks, and the evening staff were equally as warm and welcoming. Cant recommend any higher. First class eatery and bar.

The photo doesn’t do it justice but one of the best ceaser salads. Such a big portion and well seasoned. The ice latte was good too sweet caramel how I like it. Worth the price reasonable :)

I went here today with my mum as it was her birthday and the rice and peas were like rice pudding not edible at all. Had to get a refund not sure why they served the rice and peas like this i was very shocked and disappointed. We travelled from bristol for this. If I don't get my money back I will be complaining to head office or take it even further.

We headed here after an already dreadful night out, hoping to close the night out on a good one. It was 15 minutes until closing and one of the workers extremely rudely told us this. We had almost finished our drinks and it was now 5 minutes until closing and he came back, grabbed our pints and threw them out all over the floor and practically shouted at us to leave… these were pints that had been paid for. Not to mention that there was 2 other full benches of people sitting outside that were not approached in this way. We had done nothing to aggravate this kind of behaviour from the staff. We promptly left and he slammed the door right behind us. Will never EVER be going back

It was a beautiful sunny day so we decided to sit on the back patio, which was bright and spacious. The inside looked a little dreary but that might be my perception after walking in from the sun. Beers on a hot sunny day always go down well. The eggs Benedict were good, but the hollandaise sauce was a little runny and the English muffin was a little tough. The service was good, as the waitress was pretty attentive. If I'm ever back in Bath I will be coming back for a pint or two on the patio.

Fantastic. The ½ chicken is the best value food I've had in a long time, due to the quantity to quality ratio, We also had the Goats cheese salad and the nachos. All had great flavours, clearly talent in the kitchen. Thanks for a highlight to a rainy day. Still a mystery on the cafe name?!

This café is such a hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a vibe that makes you want to stay and relax for hours. The customer service is always excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuine. A special mention goes to Farouq and Beth , who makes every visit even better. He’s incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always goes the extra mile to make sure customers feel comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to find a place where both the environment and the people create such a positive experience, but this café definitely delivers. Highly recommend!

Bakery
Bertinet Bakery & Cafe, located at 6 New Bond Street Place, Bath BA1 1BH, is a haven for pastry enthusiasts. Renowned chef Richard Bertinet's expertise in traditional baking techniques shines through the bakery's offerings, from their signature sourdough loaf to indulgent almond croissants and pain au chocolat. The menu features an array of freshly baked artisan breads and pastries, including the popular Mushroom Croque Monsieur and Caramel Brownie.
Found this bakery on our recent trip to Bath! O and we are so glad ! Their chocolate babka had a rich chocolatey filling, so good and so fresh! All their pastries looked amazing! All baked fresh the same day! And of course we picked up a couple of loaves - ciabatta and multi seed sourdough! The staff is nice and friendly and also sliced and packed the loaf for us to take home! Highly recommend it!

This bakery must be absolutely amazing — by the time I arrived, everything was already sold out! I could only grab a hot chocolate, which was delicious and made me even more curious about all the baked goods I missed. If you don’t want to leave empty-handed like I did, make sure to come early! A truly charming little spot that clearly has earned its popularity — I can't wait to come back and experience the full menu next time!

We tried pistachio swirl which was fantastic and the pain suisse which was okay. The atmosphere is nice sitting outdoor. The espresso was too sour but maybe it wasn’t just my taste.

We only tried their babka (£4.60) which is so rich and so good—a lot of chocolate 🫶 and tastes so good. Will definitely try something else when we return to Bath in future!

Bought sourdough and a croissant at about 9.30 today (a Sunday). Both had the taste and texture of day old bakes. Very disappointed. The croissant was not flaky or crunchy, I've had better from the supermarket. The bread was dry. We had bread from Landrace yesterday and that was far superior.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the iconic Pulteney Bridge and the soothing sounds of the nearby weir, Cortado Café is a delightful gem in Bath. Owned by Fran and Sophie, an adventurous couple who bonded over their shared passion for coffee while backpacking in Peru, this charming café offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for coffee lovers. Fran takes charge of daily operations while Sophie handles marketing and creative endeavors.
This place is a gem! A small very friendly Argentinian cafe is a must for breakfast and lunch. The food is very fresh and would heartily recommend the Pancakes and Empanadas. Team this with one of their salads, Delicious coffee or fruity smoothies and you’re set for the day! On the 3 times we went there we had to wait for a table as it is small and very very popular but believe you me it is worth the wait. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Highly recommended!!

Was really good! Small gourmet boutique atmosphere, cosy and clean. Coffee was great and the food amazing! Had the Romescu fried eggs and was truly special! Nothing like I've ever tried before, fresh, full of flavour in every bite. Not the cheapest place, but really worth it.

You know a cafe is good when there is a queue! Fortunately we only waited 10 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious, service was speedy and the price was very competitive. The pistachio latte was incredible, as was all the food. Can highly recommend.

There is a queue to be seated, and the place is really small without too much seating, BUT the food is great, and the coffee is sensational. The service is also faultless. Would definitely return and queue again for it!

Superb brunch, if you can get in. The Argie Brunch is wonderful, but my partner had the pistacho pancakes which were on a whole different level. Make sure you get some Argentinian Empinadas too. Only criticism is how tightly packed it is in such a small space. Hopefully an adjacent block will become available so it can expand!

Had a great experience at Cortado Cafe in Bath! The Fluffy Pancake was absolutely delicious — light, airy, and a really generous portion. Paired perfectly with their fantastic coffee. Service was amazing, warm and attentive. Highly recommend!

Me and my partner came here as our first stop when visiting Bath. Two latttes, one regular and one oat pumpkin spice with two breakfast set us back £36 but it was worth EVERY penny. The staff were 10/10 polite and offered great service. The coffee was made to perfection with beautiful latte art. And the food was absolutely spectacular. Every single ingredient was fresh, flavourful and just all round outstanding. If you are visiting Bath and want a tasty lux brunch I 10/10 recommend. Only got a photo of the coffee because we were super hungry and ate the breakfast immediately. Shout out to the staff at cortado for being so polite and welcoming during their busy lunch rush.

Very average and probably not good value. We went for one of their burger deals but all in all it worked out as expensive as going anywhere else of this standard for a burger. Burger was good but nothing to rave home about. The atmosphere is pretty dull and the place was quite empty.
Mark F — Google review
An intimate venue with a good atmosphere and the good selection of headliner and guest beers that you become accustomed to at a BrewDog bar. I was disappointed by some of the staff’s lack of awareness of the beers on offer (one didn’t know what a pilsner was), but that wasn’t representative of all front of house staff. The wings were good, with a decent quantity and great crisp. Overall I would visit again but wouldn’t race back.

HONEST REVIEW: 1. Waited 15 minutes after ordering and see employees chatting. I went up to them and asked them about my order and only then they served me. The bar was practically empty. 2. around half of the items on the menu are available. 3. They mentioned birthday treat and after requesting we didn’t receive anything! 3. Tables were dirty

I had an excellent experience at BrewDog Bath on 28 June 2025, thanks to the outstanding customer service from Pranay. This was my second visit to here, and once again, it did not disappoint. I’m a 100% big fan of BrewDog, and the Bath team continues to impress. Pranay was incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout my visit. His warm approach and attentiveness really made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s great to see such passion and customer care :) Highly recommend this location for both the great brews and the amazing team.

Easily can order your drinks and food through app, but the wait on food can be longer when it’s busy, but when it arrives it’s so delicious.

First visit to a BrewDog (Bath). Loads of selections of lagers and Ales. It's nice that you can try before you buy. Great choice of music on our visit (Friday 28th Feb 8.30pm ish). Our server (a woman) was very knowledgeable about the drinks for sale. We didn't try the food, but the menu looked good and the food we saw being served looked good. Nestled next to the Odeon, Bar + Block Steakhouse Bath is a delightful destination for steak lovers seeking quality without the hefty price tag. Wanted just a quick meal and popped in, Food was great and tasted lovely. Our Server Alex was friendly and provided amazing service! Honestly nice experience and menu has ton of choices we didn't try but will have to next time!

Really great place! We were a bit nervous because it was empty when we arrived but it was an excellent experience. The food is well worth the price and the menu has great options (including loads of gluten free options). Our server, Alex, was excellent, friendly and gave really great advice about the menu. And the cocktails were amazing! Highly recommend.

Lilly is the friendliest best manager of a bar & food outlet I've had the pleasure to be served by in years. Very accommodating and listens to how u like things. Always struggle to find good Sunday lunch apart from home cooked, this place hits the nail on the head everytime. Highly recommend 👌
Nicholas M — Google review
Pretty average experience; It was my first time having a roast dinner here and honestly it's been a bit of a let down. It wasn't bad but it was nothing special either considering the price and being a proper steak house. They offer sirloin instead of roast beef and althought it was definitely tender and well cooked it was a bit bland not really fit for a roast. The veggies were ok (parsnips REALLY good) but I was surprised to see garden peas, quite a poor and cheap choice for a place like this. I then added the cauliflower cheese for and extra £5 but unfortunately it was not worth it. Likewise the service, althought not too bad it wasn't great neither, I had to call the waiter and ask for another pint once I've finished my first one even tho the place was half empty, likewise had to wait a long time to pay my bill for absolutely no reason. Overall a really average experience, I can't say the food nor the service were bad but it wasn't what I was expecting from a steakhouse. Probably I won't be back.
Leonardo F — Google review
Oliwia was fantastic! So friendly, attentive and helpful. She was patient as we decided and checked on us several times. My husband and I both ordered filets. They were delicious, however mine was one notch above the temp I requested. But I didn’t say anything as the cut was a good quality so it was enjoyable. The chips and sides we ordered were also delicious. The Diane and Peppercorn sauces didn’t taste very different (they may use the same base for both) but they have several sauces to choose from which is nice. You can tell this place specializes in burgers and steaks so it’s a good go to if you’re in the mood for either. The waitstaff goes above and beyond to make you feel looked after (with several people checking in with us throughout our meal). Ask for Oliwia if you stop by!
Katy R — Google review
We ordered 4 rump steaks with peppersauce and skin-on-chips. Everything was just perfect, the steaks tender and medium as ordered was very tasty, the sauce had the perfect bite, and the chips was tasty and very crispy. Alex, who served us, was polite, professional and very funny. We really had a great time, absolutely recommendable!
John P — Google review
Went for a date night and as always the food and service is 10/10. Alex was exceptional and took the initiative to bring condiments which goes a long way. Will 100% return :) Cocktails were 2-4-1 also which was a nice surprise❤️
Ejay L — Google review
Steaks were good quality and cooked as requested, though temp hinted at being left on a hot plate for too long before serving. Service was adequate, but slow considering restaurant was less than half full. Mostly annoyed at the £7.50 for 2 prawns, this was not a mistake either, then after being told they'd reduce the price, we waited even longer for the bill, then once received they hadn't changed anything. Very average experience for the price and appearance.

The Alfred Street branch is the second Boston Tea Party location to open in Bath and it has proven to be a massive hit.
Was a bit weary at first b/c the place looks like it could be a tourist trap, but it was not. Our server, Abby, was a sweetheart- we enjoyed learning about her life and vice versa— she also had some great thoughts on things to do in Bath and Edinburgh. The food was solid— just as good as any other similar breakfast place. My salmon Benedict hit the spot as did my wife’s yogurt. If the weather is agreeable, recommend an outdoor table.

Not amazing, but nice. Decent breakfast and not expensive. The pancakes weren't the nicest as the bacon was a lot saltier than I like, but it was still good. The fires were a good portion and they aren't stingy with the dip either. A nice outdoor seating area to sit and watch the world go by. Nice drinks and lots of choice on the menu. Would recommend.
Ben — Google review
Not fantastic, but satisfying. The place itself is very small, so if you want to eat somewhere warm, I wouldn’t recommend it, because the inside is always full and the tables outside are metal, so they’re cold. There was a table available inside, but the staff refused to give it to us, saying there wasn’t enough space for four people. However, when a family of three came in later, they had no problem seating them there — and there was still some space left. The food was quite good, but since we had to eat outside, it got cold very quickly.

This café was the perfect spot to grab a quick lunch on a Friday. There were spaces both inside and out (note: looks much busier on a weekend!). The food was not bad - appreciated the gluten free options - but what stood out was the lovely service. I was alone at the time and was made to feel very welcome. Toilet is through a locked door downstairs, so be wary if you have accessibility needs. I don’t think you could work here or use a laptop. It didn’t feel like that kind of place, though they do have wifi. The breakfasts looked good. Would good back.
El — Google review
I was greeted by a clearly harassed staff member and he couldn’t have been less welcoming but it is a busy week in Bath and so I put it down to that and sat outside. Waitresses were lovely as always, things came relatively quickly and it’s not a bad spot to sit and people watch. Unfortunately the food was dire. Flavourless salmon and brown avocado and the dregs of wilted salad. I have been before and to Alfred Street many times so it’s not always like this but maybe don’t visit at the end of the half term weeks when supplies are low and staff are exhausted. £20 for a brunch dish and a drink.

We visited here on a sunny June morning. This place is a farm shop stocked with a fantastic selection of artisan and premium food and drinks and an in house butcher. The café is spacious and bright with a large conservatory dining room looking out over lush greenery. The new layout I believe is an improvement and really liked the selection on offer within the farm shop. Now a firm competitor to their main rival a few miles away. So as far as the farm shop goes, we'll definitely be back! The mixed bag comes from our dining experience. Il keep it short... the quality of the food was great. And yes, as many previous reviews have stated its not a cheap lunch out. But il happily pay for quality all day long. Myself and one of my 14 year old daughters had the shared plate for 2 at £30. And my other 14 year old daughter had the burger, which she enjoyed. (Yes, i have twins). The shared platter I think could of been a little more substantial. Please see photos. And it was duely noted by a member of staff when clearing our plates after eating. I suggested that one small portion of chips between two was a little, shall we say stingey.. (not that i used that word). Also the chips served with the burger, you can clearly see from the photo is a larger portion size. Getting portion sizes the same for all diners I believe is easy to get right and shouldn't be over looked by the kitchen. Last point is getting the attention of the waitresses or waiters. There's plenty of them and took around 15 mins just to catch the eye of one to ask for the bill. Appreciate its not a biggy... but being observant to all diners within the room setting is paramount to good service and means you dont get the feeling you're being ignored. Overall a lovely experience.. but did come away still feeling hungry.

I took my wife on the recommendation of my daughter to have a breakfast!! I have been to the shop before but never the restaurant. I love the butcher and cakes from the shop and the restaurant did not disappoint. I had a full breakfast and my wife had scrambled egg on toast. The server was lovely and efficient, smilie and helpful. It was fairly busy and the food was prompt. I highly recommend the quality in both the shop and restaurant and hope to return soon!!!

Have a very lovely ham, egg and chips lunch today at the cafe. Lovely location. Nice and cool seating inside on a hot day. We didn't look at the outdoor seat, so we can't comment on that. The adjoining store was great. They had a little bit of everything. The food counter was stocked with amazing meats, pies, pasties, etc. They also had a large selection of cakes and sweet treats. Their frozen fruit and food section was very good, and it all looked amazing. It's great to be able to shop like that. Thoroughly enjoyable visit. I would get a membership as it saves quite a lot of the store prices. Staff were more than happy to help and the service was fast and friendly.

A beautiful place,we have had breakfast there every day of our holiday, the breakfast is amazing, my husband has a fried breakfast, I have a healthy yogurt option and they are both perfect, very fairly priced. LIzzie is a lovely lady who makes you feel welcome, as does the other young lady that works there. Would recommend this to friends and family, we also take our dog there, who is made to feel welcome.

I’d visited with a friend for the first time to look around the shop and grab a light lunch. The food looked and tasted amazing! The restaurant has a lovely relaxing atmosphere, the servers were very polite and helpful and our food arrived promptly. I would recommend this restaurant and I can’t wait to return to try their new Sunday roast menu.

The venue, staff and service are really good.. The coffee not the best, my goat cheese and grilled courgette sandwich at £10 really poor, a lump of cheese between two thin slices of brown bread, the thinnest practically non existent courgette and a lettuce leaf. My partner ate it, I should have sent it back. Won’t be visiting again .

Lulu Coffee offers delicious coffee, breakfast food, and a cosy atmosphere. It's a great place to get some caffeine and some light bites in the centre of Bath. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making it an ideal spot for a quick chat or to grab a bite to eat.
Such a wonderful family-owned cafe! Outside seating is a dream when weather is nice & cozy warm seating inside on colder weather. This is definitely my favourite cafe in Bath! The staff are very friendly, and so helpful! The food is impeccable! Their English Breakfast and pastries are my favourite! A must try in Bath!

I’ll just come right out and say it. The food was dire. My eggs in my eggs Royale were over cooked/ no runny yolk. My English muffin saturated with fish juice. The smoked salmon of low quality (large fat line served). Holland’s se not fresh. What prevents 1 star is my hot chocolate which was really good. Tasted rich and creamy. My Turkish baklava was also very nice. A pastry seeped in honey and chopped nuts. Unique and different.
Barry C — Google review
The coffee was delicious! We had 2 oat milk lattes, a oat flat white and a Turkish coffee. The service was kind and quick. I do disagree with charging extra for alternative milks. There isn’t much of a difference in supermarket price between cows milk or oat milk. It’s also very normal these days to ask for alternative milks. Also, the toilets were a bit dirty when we went. It’s off putting for customers when the bathroom isn’t clean. The coffee is great, so we will be back!

Society Café is a vibrant and modern cafe located in the bustling Kingsmead Square. The cafe boasts a welcoming atmosphere with ample seating both upstairs and downstairs, including cozy cubbyholes and well-lit areas. It's an integral part of the Bath coffee scene, offering artisan coffee, loose leaf tea, gluten-free cakes from The Bath Cake Company, and a tempting selection of pastries. Additionally, it features a cinema room for added entertainment.
Popped in early on a rainy morning, so it was quiet. Lovely decor and gentle lighting create a nice atmosphere along with nice music. Lovely Flat White brought to the table after ordering. Was pleased to see laptops were not permitted in certain areas, which is an excellent idea. After all, it's a coffee shop . Nice selection of cakes. However, I was good and refrained.

Everything about Society Cafe was great! The latte was strong, flavourful and not bitter and the carrot cake had a lovely texture, worth the price. The service was fast and friendly. It can get quite busy and the tables inside fill up fast so be aware if you’re going at a peak time.

Lovely café with great atmosphere! This place has such a beautiful vibe — lively in the morning, full of people, and really inviting. Their coffee is excellent, one of the best I’ve had in the area, and the staff are genuinely friendly and warm. There’s also a charming little square right in front of the café. If it’s not too cold, it’s a perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy your coffee, no matter the season. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed and delicious start to the day!

Cascara is a vibrant vegan cafe located in the heart of Bath, offering a delightful array of dairy and gluten-free baked goods, specialty coffee, handmade juices, and vegan treats. The cafe provides a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle with its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.
Stopped by this relaxed two-storey café for brunch and had a really lovely experience. The staff were warm and immediately made me feel at home. I had the scrambled tofu on sourdough toast, with seasonal toppings—this time peppery watercress and crisp radish. The tofu was fluffy with great texture and flavour. I was so impressed that the staff kindly shared their cooking method so I could recreate it at home! Also had a chai latte, which was beautifully spiced. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a chill, vegan spot with thoughtful food and genuinely kind service.

Great little cafe. The juices are amazing and we just had avocado on toast but everything else on the menu sounds so amazing! Unfortunately, they didn't have veggie sausages and that was something we were craving so decided to go on the hunt for veggie sausages 😭 Which was sad because I wish I could have had that along with a few of their other dishes! Coffee was lovely too and the person served us seemed like a wholesome person! Genuine service. 😊 Food seems good value for money with the portion sizes too. I would return if I was in Bath or nearby but sadly Manchester and Bath are abit far!

100% vegan. Our lunch was very tasty. A wee bit on the salty side but completely edible. I enjoyed the hummus plate: crunchy roasted asparagus, marinated meaty tempeh chunks, and pickled beetroot over potato wedges and rich house-made hummus (see photo; Thai tofu plate and latte shown at top). Friendly service.

I visited Cascara for the first time today after a quick google map search for a vegan cafe and it by far exceeded my expectations. The manager and her team were so incredibly lovely, and my lunch (the humous plate) was beautifully put together and restaurant quality. Cute interior and tables outside - it is not an obviously vegan cafe, which must have pros and cons. I didn’t have a coffee, but hope to be back to try one soon, along with the sandwiches they are planning to introduce!

The most amazing vegan food and the loveliest service! Our two visits here were the highlight of our trip to Bath. The carrot salmon toast was absolutely out of this world - so good we came back again the next day to have it again.
Matthew M — Google review
We were drawn in by the signage proposing 'speciality coffee' and its sleek, minimalist exterior and promising aesthetic. Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t quite live up to the first impression. The espresso was technically well made, medium-bodied, low in acidity, and well balanced, but ultimately unremarkable. The almond milk latte was on the sweeter side, but the flavour felt muted, and the presentation was a slight let down (some latte art attempted, but not much finesse, and it arrived already spilled into the saucer). The decor, while stylish, leaned a little too far into pretentious territory given the quality of the drinks. That said, the loft seating area was comfortable and inviting, though it became quite stifling on a hot day. Service was friendly and polite, even if a little slow considering how quiet the place was. The all-vegan menu is either a unique selling point or a gimmick, depending on your perspective, but it’s certainly different. All in all, it was a pleasant enough visit, but I left feeling that the vibe promised more than the coffee delivered.

Pulteney Kitchen is a charming café located on the iconic Pulteney Bridge in Bath. The menu offers a variety of reasonably priced options including burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and delectable desserts. The seating provides amazing views and the staff is friendly and accommodating to families. While some patrons noted slow service upon arrival, they found it improved shortly after. The food received positive feedback for its quality and flavor, with highlights such as beautifully presented tea and delicious chai lattes.
Amazing place with excellent service! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, offering magnificent views over the bridge. The food was served quickly and tasted delicious. I ordered eggs Benedict with bacon, added hash browns, and a hot chocolate... everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Bath!

Went there for breakfast and ordered the eggs Benedict—it was absolutely amazing. Easily the best breakfast I have had in Bath, and without a doubt the best coffee ever. I have not been this impressed by a coffee in 25 years. It was served at the perfect temperature and in a generous portion. Everything was just right—what needed to be chilled was perfectly chilled, and what needed to be warm was wonderfully warm. A fantastic experience overall.

Came in for a breakfast before exploring downtown Bath. Arrived right at opening on a Friday and the place filled up fairly quickly. The breakfast was fast, hot, and filling and well worth the price. Sitting at the tables in the back give a wonderful view of the river flowing under the restaurant.

Pulteney Kitchen was a pleasant surprise for a casual bite. The food was affordable and really tasty – the granola with yoghurt and fruit was fresh and satisfying, and the smoothie was great too. The view from the window is a highlight, with a peaceful look out over the river and passing boats. It's a unique spot, set right on the bridge. Service was a bit disorganised at one point – a staff member randomly left, and it got slightly confusing for the customers - some left and others were told to leave, but things were quickly smoothed out when someone else stepped in. She was friendly and wished me a good day as I left, which left a nice impression. Quirky place with great views and good value food. Worth stopping by if you're walking through the area.

Basic, no frills fare for a reasonable price in a beautiful setting. A perfect stop for a simple breakfast if you aren't looking for anything more than coffee, bacon, eggs and a triangular hashbrown.
Justin S — Google review
You know that feeling when you’re pouring your heart out to your other half, and they’re nodding along while clearly more invested in Below Deck or whatever tripe there is on TV these days? Well, I’ve found the restaurant version of that. We sat there waiting to order while the owner chatted away to his mate. When we finally caught his attention, he was more interested in chasing a wasp round the place than taking our order. In fact, the wasp got better service than we did. Honestly, first time I’ve ever been put behind an insect in the pecking order. So overall, not a great start. But that aside, let’s talk about the food. Gonna be blunt. The bacon was tragic. Lifeless. Like the sweaty old sole of a shoe, you know, when it’s all flappy and falling apart? Tasted like someone took that sole, whacked it in a frying pan, heated it up just a little bit, then slapped it between two slices of white bread with a smear of butter. No love whatsoever. The tea was fine. My dad’s granola? Actually decent. But what really winds me up isn’t just the service or the wasp fiasco. It’s that this place sits in the heart of Bath, a prime spot, a golden ticket in the catering world. And the bloke running it doesn’t seem to realise how lucky he is. Or worse, doesn’t care. People would kill for that location, and it’s being wasted on half-hearted shoe sole bacon sandwiches and half-arsed service. So, bluntly, pull your finger out. Do better. Or let someone else have a crack at it. Bath deserves more than this.

This place should be shut down immediately for a deep clean! It looks okay downstairs apart from the surly owner, but visit the toilet upstairs and you'll be appalled. I'm reporting them to the council. The bannisters and walls are sticky with grime. The kitchen is disgusting. Its next to the toilet which isn't ideal but while waiting I saw chips stored in a tupperware bowl that looked like it hadn't been washed in months. Luckily we'd only ordered drinks and I didn't even risk drinking mine. Gross and a stain on the beautiful city of Bath. Shame on you.

Having travelled to many places specifically designed to offer drinks made from what there's an awful lot of in Brazil I've reached the conclusion that the majority are far out and groovy places to park one's bottom and enjoy the refreshments on offer. The Bath Coffee Company is no different. Enthusiastic and friendly staff. A lovely latte with acceptable amount of swirlyness. A ham and cheese bagel 🥯 with an impressively generous helping of ham (and cheese), and they even went to the trouble of toasting it. I felt spoilt. This is another one of those places that could've got the maximum amount of 🌟's if I wasn't holding on to them to offer to those who are truly at the top of their game. Yes, Slō, I'm looking in your direction.

The store is good, well stocked, we wanted a coffee and that's where it let its self down. Lots of staff, but from placing our order to getting 4 hot drinks was 20mins. I know this doesn't seem long but the queues were backing up. There was one person making drinks, and one being shown how to much drinks, but a actually making customer drinks. Lots of people not happy about the wait, hot food seemed to be coming out quickly, in fact some people's food was coming out before they got their drinks.
David B — Google review
I am writing to express my deep frustration, disappointment, and anger following an extremely unpleasant and distressing experience at one of your stores. This incident has left me feeling not only mistreated as a customer, but also deeply uncomfortable and unwelcome — with strong suspicion of racial discrimination. I have been a loyal and frequent customer of M&S for years, regularly purchasing food, clothing, homeware, and cosmetics. However, after this experience, I no longer feel safe or respected shopping at your stores, and I intend to share this experience publicly and file a formal complaint. I recently visited your store to purchase a pair of shoes. The pair I found was the last one in my size, but it had clearly been tried on multiple times and had visible stains and dirt. As I was traveling soon and would not be able to receive an online order in time, I decided to purchase this pair — on the condition that it could be cleaned. A staff member in the fitting room kindly told me that the cashier could assist with cleaning. I then approached the cashier and politely asked for help. A blonde woman with short hair wearing a black and white striped shirt responded with visible impatience and an unprofessional tone. She questioned who told me the shoes could be cleaned, and when I explained, she rudely asked, “Will you even buy it if we clean it?” — as if I were wasting her time. I clarified that I did intend to buy the shoes but needed to ensure they were in acceptable condition. She then abruptly grabbed tissues from a cabinet, hastily and carelessly wiped the soles for just a few seconds, slammed the shoes onto the counter, and stared at me as if to say, “Are you satisfied now?” Her attitude was dismissive and aggressive — entirely inappropriate for customer-facing staff. When I pointed out that the inside and top of the shoes were still dirty, she threw tissues onto the counter and told me to clean them myself, claiming she had to serve other customers — despite there being no one else waiting. I had no choice but to clean the shoes myself, feeling utterly humiliated. Even worse, after this interaction, she began speaking to an older cashier while glancing at me repeatedly. I don’t know what was said, but I was made to feel like a target of gossip or ridicule. Another male cashier then impatiently asked me to move elsewhere, as though I were causing disruption simply by trying to finish packing the shoes I had just paid for. Why was I, a paying customer, treated with such disrespect and hostility? What hurt me the most was seeing how kindly and patiently these same staff members treated other customers — smiling, chatting, giving them time to pack. The contrast was undeniable. I am an East Asian woman. I truly hope this was not racially motivated, but based on the way I was singled out and treated so differently, it is hard to believe otherwise. The suspicion of racial discrimination is strong and deeply painful. This experience left me anxious and shaken. I felt like a student being bullied by mean girls — powerless, disrespected, and completely excluded. As a customer, I never expect special treatment, but I do expect basic decency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this incident shows a shocking lack of all three. It was not only unprofessional but deeply unethical. This is why I feel compelled to provide such detailed feedback. I will no longer shop at M&S and will advise my friends and community — especially other East Asian customers — to avoid your stores. I will also be sharing my experience on Google and other review platforms, and submitting a formal complaint. I demand a formal apology and an investigation into this incident. Your staff’s behavior is unacceptable and, from my experience, very possibly discriminatory. I sincerely hope M&S takes this issue seriously — not just for me, but for every customer who expects to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of race or background.
Danielle — Google review
Great store for clothing, home & food. BUT, the café really lets it down, particularly after 3.30pm. Hence the 1 star. No hot drinks can be made as machines are 'broken' & no hot food can be cooked in the kitchen. This has been the case on my last 2 visits and feel the lack of services is more about the staff wanting to run the cafe minimally after 3.30pm - eg just soft drinks, sandwiches & cake - which avoids a longer closing up process of the café for the staff. My advice would be to avoid the café after 3.30pm.

Picnic In The Park is a popular spot on Saracen Street, known for its early morning croissants and exceptional coffee from guest roasters. It's run by Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood, a former UK Barista Championship winner who roasts his own coffee and specializes in serving single origin beans. The cafe is open and spacious, with two areas in the center of town and on the quieter Saracen Street.
Passing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and it’s made me genuinely sad that I don’t live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we aren’t local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. It’s opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?

Breakfast (see photo) is a must if you're ever nearby. Cracking coffee and teas as well. The staff are outstanding and welcoming. A credit to the establishment. Take away or eat in. Thoroughly recommend. You won't be disappointed. Many thanks to all at Picnic In The Park. You're amazing.

The sandwich and drinks were excellent. The two staff were spoke to were both very friendly and took pride in the cafe and their service. Very dog friendly. Coffee far nicer than chain stores. Also more ethically sourced.

Tried the new veggie breakfast this morning - absolutely delicious. The smashed avocado was especially good. Love the updated decor and the staff were as friendly as always.

Had a breakfast while waiting for my VW being repaired in a nearby dealership. Food was very nice and hot, though a little bit pricey compared to other cafés close by. I did notice that they had specialised food nights with food from different parts if the world and,on talking to the owner, they were very popular with their customers. Will I go back when in Bath definitely.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you for what you provided on Friday. People genuinely couldn't stop talking about the food and how great it was (special mentions of the sausage rolls, quiches and cakes!), so much so pretty much everyone took some home with them! It made our wedding afternoon just perfect and we really can't thank you enough.

First time visiting today and certainly wont be the last welcoming owners,Breakfast baguette and Bacon Baguette was perfect a little Gem of a cafe well worth the money. Only tried the pork and cheese sausage roll so far and without doubt the best tasted by a country mile, seasoned perfectly look forward to the cheese and marmite sausage roll later today. Would not hesitate to recommend 5 stars all round will look forward to visiting again.

Diana's Cafe in Bath is a charming and relaxed spot that’s perfect for breakfast lovers. Nestled conveniently near the Bath Spa train station, this cafe offers a delightful menu featuring full English breakfasts, paninis, jacket potatoes, and even bubble tea. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal place to unwind while enjoying delicious halal dishes.
Had a lovely halal all English breakfast! Lovely Moroccan tea and my kids absolutely loved their fresh orange juice 🥰 The lady on the cashier was absolutely brilliant, with a vibrant lovely smile! Met the cafe owner who was very humble and welcoming ✨ Took me back to Egyptian cafes and the gorgeous music in the background and lovely decor 🤩

We went for breakfast and ordered a Full English and a Halloumi breakfast with a Summer Fruits Smoothie and it was delicious, flavoursome, all the words you can use to describe appetising food. Great location next to Bath Station and with them having luggage storage, it was convenient - not to mention, everything is halal! Highly recommended.

Good breakfast at a decent price point. The espresso was surprisingly nice, which is great to see in such a competitive area. The eggs were nice, runny in the middle, and a healthy portion of salmon.

This is an outstanding restaurant, very close to the station, with Wi-Fi and charging facilities available. The staff are also very friendly. I ordered hot chocolate, which warmed me up immediately after my trip in Bath. They also do offer brunch all day. As their breakfast looked amazing, I chose brunch for dinner as well. The food was indeed excellent, both in appearance and taste. It's definitely a cafe worth visiting.

I absolutely enjoyed my breakfast at Diana's and I appreciated the kind and joyful conversation with Jess. Thank you for the country music playing in the background, I already added Ella Langley to my Spotify. I ordered the English Breakfast and let me tell you how plentiful the portions are! I couldn't even finish the plate. And if you're wondering, I asked to not be served the tomato because I knew I wouldn't eat it. I also asked for the toast to be well buttered and they definitely did not disappoint. It was a great breakfast for a fabulous day in Bath. (My meal was only £11)

Galleries Shop & Café is a charming establishment that offers a diverse selection of local products and essential items in a beautiful setting. The shop surprises with an array of items not typically found in small shops, while the outdoor patio provides lovely views. Additionally, there's a playground nearby for families with little ones.
Wonderful community café, groceries shop, gallery and volunteer allotment/produce garden. Settled in beautiful Freshford with plenty of produce and choice in the shop (including vegan butter), locally related souvenirs and delicious cakes in the café. Very nice staff and gorgeous views all around. Parking available. A real hub for the community and a treat for wandering tourists.

This is a very lovely and delicious find. It’s a shop with the most delightful and fresh produce, it’s a cafe with delicious daily specials of sandwiches, salads, cakes, drinks and great coffee. You can sit inside and look at the art or you can sit outside and look at the meadow. It is dog friendly and there is parking. Or make it part of your walking route. It is all staffed by local volunteers who give their time and skills freely. Make sure it’s open before setting off. I’m here because I’m housesitting in Freshford. I could make my own lunch but I’d rather come here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Gallery Community Cafe, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exemplary service provided by our server, Mandie. From the moment we were seated until the conclusion of our meal, Mandie went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Mandie greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, immediately putting us at ease and setting the tone for the afternoon. Throughout the meal, she demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the menu, offering insightful recommendations and expertly guiding us through the various options available. What truly set Mandie apart, however, was her impeccable attention to detail and unwavering commitment to ensuring our satisfaction. Moreover, Mandie's professionalism was matched only by her warmth and friendliness, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience. If you're on the hunt for a culinary adventure, "Best Of British" in Bath is an absolute must-visit. This fine dining establishment offers a unique twist by keeping its menu a delightful secret until you’re seated. Under the expert guidance of award-winning chef Gordon Jones, who draws inspiration from his Scottish roots and family traditions, diners can expect an extraordinary meal infused with British, Indian, and Asian flavors.
We came across an absolute gem. Still serving hot food late afternoon, accomodating and friendly. Homemade soup was delicious, flavoursome and tasty. Just the place for a bite to eat between shopping. The doorstop sandwiches looked epic! Popular with locals. Would visit again and recommend to support independent business.

Went here as part of a mystery picnic collection, this was my favourite stop, Salads and sausage roll were amazing! Salads were especially unusual and delicious. They went over and above to ensure the items were allergen free (metabisulphite) and even gave my dog some bacon.

Popped in to grab a takeaway sandwich. Nice little shop with a fair choice on offer I went for the cheese and chutney, and it was freshly made while I waited. Sandwich was tasty fresh and filling. Sandwich was £4.20 which was reasonable for a fresh made sandwich in Bath. Will definitely pop back again

This place has a large selection of sandwiches, besides salads, quiches and cakes. All made from scratch by the owner. I had the best Brie and Bacon sandwich here!

Our company has been conscious about always trying to use local businesses, especially in this current economic situation. Best of British didn't disappoint. We ordered our office lunch from Sarah at the start of March. She was extremely helpful and so accommodating for all our staff dietary requirements (and the various questions we asked her). We ordered individual sandwiches as well as individual quiche and salad orders. We picked up the order from their café, all clearly labelled and you could tell everything was freshly made. We shall most definitely be ordering again and we look forward to another great lunch.
Admin T — Google review
Unfortunately not the experience we expected. Being called “Best of British” we expected quality produce and tasty food. We were disappointed when the food arrived and the sausages were awful, the bacon was over cooked and the bread was drenched with butter. The staff were incredibly polite but perhaps new produce needs to be sourced as it was definitely not the best of British produce. Would not return or recommend to others, the worst breakfast we’ve ever had.

Best place for lunch in Bath My wife and I recently got married in Bath and were looking for a place to get some lunch on the move for our guests. We chose the best of British deli after trying their sandwiches, which were delicious, and ordered 80. Sarah was very accommodating, being able to work around all of the varied diets we had in the group and even delivering them on the morning of the wedding to a shop near the venue. And the service wasn't the end of it, the guests were all raving about how delicious they were. All 80 thumbs up for the best of British deli.

The Good Bear Cafe is a vegan and gluten-free cafe with toys and books for children. It is often a good option for vegan and GF food, and the owners are open to having a stool in the toilet for children to use the loo.
Great local cafe. Good coffee, wide range of cakes. Good light meal range. Seating inside and uncovered seating outside in fairly quiet side road.

Was on call for a pharmacy shift in Bath and stumbled on this beautiful cafe with such sweet staff. Hats off to the chef who actually was very accommodating in making the food vegetarian for me. I truly enjoyed the gnocchi bake, with basil and tomato sauce. It’s been a while since I have seen cannoli (a Sicilian sweet pastry) I have only had good ones in Palermo (which is a city in Sicily). The pistachio one is must try. Thanks for the service and good food guys- keep it up and I wish you all the best.

While wandering the neighborhood, we stumbled upon this inviting cafe with patio seating and friendly people waving hi to each other - so we had to stay for a bite. The food was fresh and delicious, with a lovely variety of bakery and lunch foods. We got their Parma Ham & Grilled Aubergine sandwich which was delicious + came with lightly oiled salad and their piri piri poached eggs which were cooked beautifully and flavoured well.

It has been great to taste the amazing coffee and breakfast here. It was Monday bank holiday so we expected the crowd and full tables at all times. Other than that, the staff is attentive and somehow you can tell this is such a community cafe as you can spot customers at all ages. We love the locally roasted coffee as it got nice aroma and strong taste of coffee. Would love to be back on a one fine (quieter) day.

It is clear that the owner is passionate about food - the menu is simple but the food quality is excellent. My sourdough toast was loaded with flavour, the bacon was thick and it was topped with truffle oil which was just *chefs kiss*. The breakfast sandwich my partner ordered had the tastiest sausage and was excellent value for money. Lovely coffee too, and happily accommodated our request for an extra big mug each. Thanks for a lovely breakfast.

A sweet local cafe spot. Nice relaxed atmosphere. I knocked off a star because whilst my food tasted nice, I found the portion size quite small. Both my friend and I ordered from the brunch menu and felt a bit hungry after. Might get a sandwich next time so I can have 2 bits of bread 😂 [Update, I did go back and get a sandwich and I really enjoyed it!]

Always very helpful, beautiful local coffee beans used. It's a shame it's not larger as it's clearly very popular. Hand baked cakes are gorgeously indulgent, hot food is spot on.
Aleena B — Google review
We used to come here for their coffee, but because it’s not close to our place, we stopped coming. Today we returned and were disappointed. The coffee wasn’t as good as we remembered; it was bitter and left a burnt taste in our mouths. They’ve either changed their barista or the coffee beans; who knows? We had read reviews mentioning vegan cakes, so we were excited to try them. However, we were disappointed again when we found no vegan cakes or pastries. I asked the staff if they usually have vegan cakes, and she replied, “No, we don’t.” There used to be vegan sandwiches when we frequented this place, but today, there was nothing for us to eat. It’s surprising that in 2023, they aren’t stocking any vegan options. The coffee tables were all sticky, making it uncomfortable for us to read and work. Unfortunately, we won’t return until these issues are addressed. We left grumpy.

Oh goodness, my new favourite place in Bath. A gorgeous, colourful cafe and shop. We had a selection box of baklava and it was delectable and probably the best we've had. I had a Cardamom Chai Latte because it was made from scratch. No syrup flavourings etc. It was delicious, refreshing and not sweet. Heavenly. Husband's coffee was also really good, and my teenager enjoyed her iced coffee. He went back in and had a long chat with the owner and bought a bag of ground Turkish coffee. such a nice experience. They do mail order too.

Recent trip to Bath and was lured in by this beautiful shop with fresh made Turkish treats. So many things to choose from was hard to pick. Pieces were colourful and fragrant. Owner was quiet and wish he explained more about the types but enjoyed the purchase. I’m not sure how fresh each piece was as some were not as soft as I would have liked but still thoroughly enjoyed and should be a stop for everyone to try.

Nestled in a beautifully refurbished church, The Honey Café is a delightful spot that has quickly become a favorite among local families. With its expansive indoor play area and charming garden, it offers the perfect environment for kids to enjoy while parents relax with an enticing new menu that now features breakfast options. Visitors can indulge in freshly made sandwiches, including customizable vegetarian choices on hearty brown bread, alongside delicious homemade desserts like apple cake.
A great cafe, probably the best in Bath, for breakfasts, cakes, coffee, and toasties. I often go in here and take some cake away. I usually have the quiche, there is typically a quiche and a soup of the day (you can't typically choose a different one), and there are traditional and vegetarian cooked breakfasts, toasties, sandwiches etc, and jacket potatoes, which are excellent. I was stuck in the sleet on a cold Winter’s day on a walk to Saltford and back down the cycle path, and I was getting tired and hungry, and then I remembered that I had one of Karolina’s prodigious millionaire’s shortbreads with me, by which I could revivify. I hid under a bridge to keep dry for a while and ate it. It was salubrious and delicious 😸

Lovely Cafe, bright spacious and nicely decorated. Great snack menu and various cakes and treats on offer. The Bacon sandwich was lovely 😍 great quality bacon and fresh bread. A real gem in Bath Spa. So pleased I saw the A-board sign outside the church. I was able to order a customised vegetarian sandwich (packed with cheese, tomato and roasted red peppers), made fresh for me, on lovely chunky brown bread, served with salad and crisps. Hands down THE best sandwich I have had on this trip. I went back for dessert - the home made apple cake was lovely. Quite a few locals came in to eat-in or takeaway. I really hope many tourists find their way here.

Conscious Café Bar is a charming and cozy spot with a focus on sustainability. The staff are known for being welcoming and the cakes are particularly delightful. However, some patrons have noted that the interior can be a bit chilly and suggest improving the heating system. While the coffee servings are generous, there have been comments about portion sizes in certain menu items, such as the salmon breakfast.

Cute cafe, friendly staff, delicious cakes. Great that they prioritize sustainability. A bit chilly inside, needs better heating. Generous coffee size but cant say the same about the salmon in the breakfast menu which costs £8. Barely enough to cover half a slice of bread (they serve 2 slices of bread). Would be good to add a hook in the restroom.

I don't normally review but really feel that this was not worth the money. We ordered two takeaway salads. The food took half an hour to come out. The price was more than they had listed on their menu. The salads were SO bland and the portion was very small. It just needed some dressing and more substance. We paid £8.50 each and feel totally ripped off. I do not recommend this place for salads, can't comment on the other dishes.

Perhaps the best bagels you’ll ever have!! The shop itself is a very small and cozy spot with a few seats inside and benches outside. It’s definitely geared to takeout orders and delivery. However the product, service and food quality is what you’re really going here for! Prices are fair to the portion size, the bagels are massive and generously filled! Taste wise it’s unbeatable if you like bagels with a variety of filling options, all breakfast options are spot on and the chicken schnitzel is amazing (although the peri peri is a bit too spicy for me). The coffee is absolutely delicious, not instant and to our surprise high quality oat milk as I prefer the taste of oat milk. Friendly and quick service even with constant orders. Overall a fantastic experience and top quality breakfast and lunch food. We will be back 10/10!

Went there for the first time today after Parsons closed. To my surprise they are very limited in services - only card payments? I've asked curiously why only card payments and received even more weird answers-the girl who served me told me it's against her beliefs....🤔 If this is the case in the whole respect I'm not coming back, I'm not recommending this place and I'm not going to support the cdbc genocide, I'm not going to support a creation leading to the enslavement of people. Another issue was - I waited over 5 minutes for just a drink that's made by machine... In general the cash payment problem put me off and I won't be calling back. #cashisking #no2cbdc
