Nestled in the heart of Bath, Komedia is a vibrant club venue that brings together the best of live entertainment. This community-owned gem, housed in a beautifully restored Grade II listed former cinema, hosts an impressive array of over 400 events each year. From side-splitting comedy and captivating music gigs to engaging cabaret shows and family-friendly activities, there's something for everyone at Komedia.
The vintage explosion were a fantastic band what a talented set of people. The venue added to the vibe with the building having ornate ceiling detail and the charm of a smaller venue. The balcony chairs were comfortable and gave a great view of the stage. We will def be looking to follow vintage explosion and see them again if you get the chance don’t miss you going to one of their gigs or following them on Spotify

1st time there, won't be the last. Staff were so helpful from booking our tickets through to end of the show on the night. Bar is at back but stage still visible, seats available in the bar area upon request and availability. The sound and acoustics were spot on on the night. Would we recommend Yes we would.

I had a brilliant night at Komedia seeing a tribute act for Adele, Naomi Johnson. She is an excellent singer supported by her brilliant backing singers and band. The evening was fun, interactive and a joy to experience. I will be looking out for her act when they next visit the area. Definitely want to see them again. My whole family enjoyed it. My son who is in his teens, me in my fifties and my mum who is over 70! Truly a stunning evening ✨

Had a fantastic time here seeing Shoot From The Hip. It was only November 2 so the Halloween decorations were still up, giving it a kinda spooky atmosphere. The show was incredible, I nearly cried laughing at the four of them. Would (will) go back if they're ever back this way again.
Shannon B — Google review
Great venue and Adam Kay was as entertaining as ever. The only downside was during the Q&A – it would have been really helpful if audience members asking questions had been given a microphone, as we couldn’t hear anything from the balcony. Otherwise, a fantastic night!
Trisha G — Google review
Had a fantastic experience at the Komedia, not seeing comedy or for a night out, but a very wonderful talk by author Natalie Haynes in association with Mr B's Emporium of Books as part of her tour promoting her latest book 'No Friend to This House.' Just shows how versatile the venue is, and the staff were very friendly.
Ellen — Google review
Lovely venue, friendly staff and happy vibe. Very organised entry and leaving. First time visiting and Would definitely return.

What a fabulous double bill of Cats in Space and the wonderful Rosalie Cunningham and her band , possibly the first time I have been to this venue and look forward to the next event there Robben Ford and Laura Jones who I saw last week . I like venues like this up and close and personal and welcoming friendly staff. That really does make a difference. Will put them on my mailing list for future events even though it’s a 150 mile round trip

Sub 13 is a stylish cellar bar located in Bath, spread across three floors of a grand Georgian townhouse. The venue offers intimate spaces, including a courtyard and VIP areas, making it an ideal spot for post-sunset entertainment. With late-night DJs on the private garden terrace and an extensive cocktail list, Sub 13 provides a sophisticated experience.
We came for a gin masterclass for our friend Hayley’s hen do. We would like to say how good the cocktail lady Beth was and how she made sure we had a good time and her knowledge about gin was amazing. We also had a friend that who does not drink alcohol and she was amazing with ensuring she made cocktails suitable for them. She made the hour really fun She is a real assert to sub 13 From Heather, Hayley, Rachel, Sue, Ange, Claire & chaya x

Out Saturday day drinking for a hen do. Was there from 6pm till 9pm. We sat outside on a sofa, with the DJ playing under the gazebo. Great music, Great atmosphere, the place was buzzing. Staff are friendly, served drinks to your table, cleared up quickly to remove those empty glasses. Had a great time drinking, chilling to the music and chatting.
Paul C — Google review
Great little spot for drinks. The interiors and design of the place is nice overall. Drinks were really good, although the wine glasses were... a choice. 😂 The team were nice too, they seemed on it with things to keep the good environment regarless of how busy or quiet it was. Although, 1 thing; the table in front of the DJ booth is a little bit of a lost opportunity to showcase the cute neon sign.
Parth K — Google review
Bar and lounge with a great heated patio/garden seating out back with seating to accommodate large groups. Night club downstairs that was packed and lively the night I was there. Would dance here again.
Jeffrey G — Google review
A few days away in Bath during week one of lockdown restrictions starting ease enabled us to find the ever popular Sub 13 champagne and cocktail bar. As with all establishments, only outdoor seating is available at present but the large terrace at the rear of Sub 13 was an ideal place to sit for a few hours and enjoy being able to go out again. The terrace has large heated canopies over the whole area making a pleasant and suitable place to be during this current cold period. The drinks menu had a good range of drinks to suit most pockets (champagne going upto £800 a bottle) with equally efficient accompanying waiter/ess service. All in all a great experience for us and somewhere we would recommend and return to if visiting Bath for the afternoon or evening. Key advice..... make an advance booking for the terrace otherwise prepare to be disappointed or have a long wait. It’s very popular!!

The Dark Horse is a new and intimate cocktail bar with antique decor and wood accents. Despite being recently opened, it has gained 57 'excellent' ratings and was ranked as the fourth best new cocktail bar in the world. Visitors praise its outstanding service, unique cocktails, and local recommendations. The bar offers an exclusive Whisky Social event every month in its private side bar, Blackbird.
A fantastic cocktail bar in central Bath, great service with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very cool decor. Strong selection of spirits with some great rums, good menu with variety and happy to go off menu if it's not too busy. The Mai Tai and the Painkiller were stellar A++ 🍹
G C — Google review
This place is superb, especially at 1 am, since it stays open until 2 in the morning. There was someone guiding us downstairs, as the entrance isn’t very obvious. Inside, there are three different rooms, each uniquely delightful, and the ambience is incredible. The cocktails are delicious, with strong and satisfying flavours. Highly recommended
Anil P — Google review
Best witchy bar in Bath! Loved the cocktails, and the vibe was perfect for a drink and a good chat. I’m from Mexico City, and this spot is now one of my favorite memories from Bath. 🖤✨
Jackie A — Google review
Probably the best cocktails I’ve ever had, a lot of care goes into preparing them with unique choices and classics available on request. The bar itself was downstairs in a basement and therefore a bit tucked away but once found it was lovely to go somewhere so quirky and different. Drinks were expensive but you get what you pay for. The staff were great too.
Russha S — Google review
We were here on St Patrick’s Day four years ago. The woman bartender made me an Old Fashioned with 12 year old Red Breast (St Patrick’s Day Special) and her homemade bitters (chocolate / chili bitters?) and it’s still the best Old Fashion I’ve had to this day. I’ve bored so many people to death talking about it. I would love the recipe.
Dave M — Google review
No wait on a Sunday night around 9:30, although it seemed the place where you would definitely want one on busier nights. Great well balanced menu with a good variety of lighter lower ABV drinks all the way to heavier spirit-forward cocktails. The bartender was very knowledgeable and able to talk you through the menu. Would strongly recommend a visit here while in Bath.
Felix — Google review
Great atmosphere, location and drinks. Drinks are expensive but you get great knowledge from the bar staff and the drinks are a high quality.
Andy — Google review
This little bar is brilliant! We unfortunately didn't get to spend much time here but the service was excellent, such a friendly girl on the front of house. We had a couple of great drinks. One was the white pepper non-alcoholic drink and that was really refreshing. The atmosphere is dark and moody but in a good way. Like a really nice relaxed lounge bar. The music is not too loud. They have a couple of small rooms with sofas, so if you are in a group then these would be perfect for you to all hang out in. The bar is cool and their cocktail selection is amazing. Would definitely go back!

Opium Bar is a boutique watering hole located in the heart of Bath's drinking scene, offering an extensive menu of beers and cocktails. Situated below street level in one of the vaults near Pulteney Bridge, this subterranean bar boasts a pan-historical decor that creates a transportive and exclusive atmosphere.
I dislike that you have to go up and order your drinks at the bar, this place is set up for table service. That being said, the service was great, very friendly, and lovely vibe in the place, perfect on a winter night. Creative and yummy cocktails.

Highlight of my hen weekend! I am over the moon we booked a private room at Opium Bar for my hen weekend - it was an absolute blast and the highlight. The room for the vibe of the weekend perfectly. It felt like a hidden, quirky speakeasy - when we arrived there were candles and incense burning 👌 Drinks were great and we were able to have a tab to pay at the end. There was a group of 10 of us and the size was perfect for karaoke and dancing (which we quickly got stuck into). It was so much fun! Most importantly huge shout out to Molly and her team who looked after us. What a fantastic bunch of women! We had such a laugh with them and they really made the evening. Thank you ladies - you were amazing! :)
Becky H — Google review
This is a real quirky and different cocktail bar, that if you come bath you have to visit. Reminders me of the Incognito Bar in Winchester! Get staff are super friendly and what's more they know how to make a cocktail! Had the lychee Ice Tea and Moscow Mule (choose the rum option) whilst the wife asked for a dirty Martini. All were made perfectly, they weren't mean with the alcohol and what's more not 'ripoff' prices!!! Having been to so many cocktail bars where you pay £18 for a half arsed cocktail that tastes like it was canned, this place is the real deal! Ask for a bespoke cocktail and these geniuses will make u something special. I asked for a spicy rum number and what I got was incredible (at standard price). Didn't want to leave and a massive highlight of our Bath stay We will definitely come again! Oh.....did I mention.....book Bath and go there now!!!

Oh, the bartenders here were delightful and talked to my lonely self as I was their first customer of the evening and from USA. Found the place just walking by and it looked so inviting I had to stop. The drinks were made with care and specialized for my tastes. The decor was gorgeous and unique in a city full of pubs and restaurants.

What a find! Absolutely gorgeously decorated cocktail bar hidden underneath a road in central Bath. Very quirky place, but in a good way. Wasn't busy at all midweek, service was good, and drinks were nice. Cocktails were about a tenner. Definitely has the wow factor just for the interior alone. Would highly recommend.

Second Bridge is a popular late-night spot located in Bath, known for its vibrant atmosphere and elite guest list. The venue offers a stylish and relaxed setting with an emphasis on credible music and a friendly vibe. With two rooms of music, three impressive concrete bars, and luxurious VIP areas, it's the perfect place to enjoy cocktails and shisha pipes on the heated terrace above the nightclub.
Second Bridge is literally the best place to be on a Saturday and Monday night. Security on the door and inside are 100% the best security at any night club in Bath, quite literally made my night last night. They’re kind, friendly and lots of fun. Music is good (most of the time). Atmosphere is 10/10 everyone’s usually really friendly especially in the smoking area and in the smaller rooms.

absolutely amazing !!! the customer service might be the best i’ve ever experienced, the drinks where perfect and “DJ LOX” was even better. Security were on it all night and even the cloak room was greatly managed but the bar staff stand at the peak of pure efficient performance. 10/10

Had tickets for 22:30-23:00 (Monday freshers’ week). Arrived 22:56. Security guy grabbed my wine bottle from my hand when I was standing several meters away from the queue on a public road. Waited in the queue >35 mins until past 23:30 with people shoving past each other. Extremely crowded inside. Jägerbombs £3 each. Overall not fun.
Hugh — Google review
best club i’ve been to by far. staff are all really friendly and helpful and there’s always a bouncer around if you need help with anything. drinks are priced reasonably and the atmosphere is great. there is also an event for everyone no matter what type of music you like. will definitely be going back

Good service and amazing food. I came in with my wife and the atmosphere was great. 10/10 would recommend
Ximi C — Google review
Atmosphere is not the best In bath. Personally I prefer the music and vibe in labarinth . Staff were rude and accused me of being on substances in the bathroom, after I insisted I was not and encouraged them to search me. They refused the search sticking to their accusations. I was then removed as a result of their accusations and and my evening was cut short. I'm extremely disappointed in the conduct of the staff here and hope this can be improved for future patrons of the venue. Tldr. Drinks are reasonably priced but bouncers are rude and like to jump to conclusions.
Aled J — Google review
Nice relaxed atmosphere, bartender made us up a cocktail as we didn't fancy what was on the menu at no hesitation. Very good value when 241 cocktail deal is on.
JL C — Google review
An incredible spot with an amazing atmosphere, good drinks, the best DJ sets and the most helpful family of staff I’ve ever seen. The managers are super kind and professional and the security staff are the best craic. The regular dj is great fun and you can always tell he loves his job. Dunno what these other reviews are on about. You have to give this place a shot!!!!

Hall & Woodhouse Bath is a chic bar and British restaurant located in the heart of Bath. The venue, which was once Bonhams auction rooms, has been transformed into a modern vintage space with four airy rooms and a roof terrace. The open-plan interior features long wooden tables for dining and drinking, as well as a clubby area with Chesterfield sofas, leather armchairs, shelves of board games, and an indie soundtrack.
The Venue itself is very nicely devoured, the atmosphere is very chilled and ambient, we had 3 small plates as a shared starter for 2 and then the Bacon Chop and the Steak and Tanglefoot Pie from the Mains. Also a good range of drinks to choose from. Amazing... Our waitress for our visit was Ella, she was very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Sunday roast with friends. Nice roast. Good vibes-very chilled and lovely atmosphere and decor. The best Yorkshires, they were huge! Also really lovely well-cooked carrots. Thanks to our server/waitress Charlotte R who was very sweet, smiley and attentive to our needs!
Melanie W — Google review
The place looks and feels very upmarket and an ideal place for a birthday meal. There were several hen parties on the tables around us enjoying the atmosphere. The food sounds very fancy on the menu, however the rigatoni carbonara didn't live up to my expectations.
Junkybabes — Google review
Probably should worth more stars than given on food. Sunday roast was a bit disappointing but very good fish pie nevertheless. Comprehensive drink menu with very good vibes in the restaurant. First restaurant visited after arrival in Bath and have quite a good time there. Guess this restaurant should worth the four stars they are having and most probably should get them the second chance for their food if possible.
Kia T — Google review
Called in for a quick unhooked lunch on a Friday, fairly quiet but that suited us, have been here in the evening and I,m sure you may have to book as it’s very popular. Fantastic setting over two floors, gets very busy and its really buzzing. Lunch was yummy even though it was just sandwiches! Even the toilets (downstairs) have a grand entry, copper wall to wall and nice and old style but very clean. Overall it’s a nice venue that attracts a posher crowd, there’s no football tops in here, good for families friends and ladies that lunch. Prices reflect the clientele, well worth going of the main shopping drag to find this place. It’s near to some other nice pubs and unique bars.
James R — Google review
Got to Bath fairly late, liked the look of this place especially the roof terrace and was only a short walk from the hotel, booked a table online - the only option it gave me was 9:15pm so we thought great...they're still serving food! Got there and it was very quiet...staff seemed very surprised that we had a table booked, but sat us anyway. Our waitress Georgia was really welcoming and lovely, she could not have done more for us. However it was clear we were a late table and the kitchen was going to be pissed...and they were! We actually overheard the chef telling Georgia that we had to order fast because this was a joke! After having worked in hospitality for many years I could totally get it but was confused as how I was able to book a table at that time and the kitchen was still 'open' for the chef to react that way, in the restaurant, in front of paying guests. We told Georgia we would be happy to leave and go somewhere else as by this point the vibe was gone but she convinced us to stay...as I said she was absolutely great and handled the whole situation really well. Food came out quickly and we ate and left. I'd recommend closing online reservations if you don't want people booking at that time, and keep chef outbursts to the walk-in fridge. But again....Georgia was fantastic!
Liz D — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious. I had a very well-seasoned salad, while my boyfriend tried an H&W burger and was really impressed. Also the desert is amazing. We highly recommend this place.

Bitterly disappointed. We have eaten in Hall & Woodhouse in Poundbury and Weymouth. Excellent service, lovely food. Bath did NOT live up to expectations. Slow service. Waited over 1.5hrs for main course. Drinks didn't arrive until AFTER inadequate starters. Nachos were simply an opened packet of tortilla chips with a sprinkling of cheese, quick squirt of salsa and a few jalapeños. Dire!! Mains we're not special. Even had to ask for cutlery, Get our own napkins. Bbq sauce didnt arrive until the food had almost been eaten. Terrible service. This was my daughter's 30th birthday celebration. Utterly shocking service. Please avoid this establishment.

Brewery
The Bath Brew House is a charming rustic-chic pub located in the vibrant heart of Bath, where craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike can find their paradise. This unique venue features an on-site brewery that produces inventive craft beers, complemented by a menu filled with hearty spitroast dishes prepared in an open kitchen. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an inviting atmosphere characterized by eclectic brewing equipment and mismatched furniture that adds to its quirky charm.
Izzy was such a good bartender, a glass broke in her hand for no reason and she just cleaned it up and kept serving beer without a fuss. She recommended some great beers for us. This is a happening place. This was a Tuesday night at 8:30. The Pink Lemon was my favorite, very refreshing.

I had the Brewers Burger & Chips £20, plus a pint. I would like to see a dry draft cider served here, both draft ciders were quite sweet. Meal was OK, London prices. Nice outside seating area.
Miles M — Google review
Beautiful place to visit if staying in bath we ate here for the 1st time today the food was amazing great portion size and very tasty. Very reasonable prices and love the outdoor seating. Staff are very friendly and helpful and what makes this place is the fact it's dog friendly inside and out. Plenty of seating inside and outside in the covered area which is removed when it's hot out. We will definitely be back when we visit Bath again so thanks. Xx

I went to brewhouse today with my friend, had such an amazing service from the staff his name is Raqib. Offered us drinks that we may like and I did they were all good choices. Excellent work Raqib. 👍 I would definitely recommend this place. Good drinks and vibes.

Nice place but feels like a lot of wasted potential, had no toilet roll in any men's stall when I went there, got served a glass with multiple big lipstick stains and for £20 a burger with just onion and pickle and fries seems a bit stingy. Beer was very good and had a nice range of them. I'm sure if you went on a day and didn't have those things happen it would be an easy 4 or 5 star but just wasn't as good as we had expected that day

Came for a Christmas do. First time I've been here. Having been to many of these, over the years, you kind of know what you're going to get. Limp lettuce, luke warm food and staff who've had enough. I can honestly say that The Brew House was nothing like that! The table was set up in the corner for us, crackers and decorations - not over the top, but enough to help with the mood. About 15 of us at various points and we all fit quite well with space to eat. After chatting for a bit the starters were brought out. I'd opted for the celeriac soup. It was delicious. Seasoned well, no need to reach for the condiments, and was warm and rich. Really great soup. I sound surprised, but soup is usually hit or miss... This was a hit. From the table I could only hear good things about the other starters, which I've forgotten what they were - old age. Because I'm awkward, my main was off the normal menu - which they don't normally do this time of year and was a special request as I couldn't eat anything else... food allergies and the like. I have to say the mushroom burger was a delight. From the top down you had three pieces of gloriously squeaky halloumi, a large mushroom stuffed with breadcrumbs and garlic and probably lots of butter, rounded off by a huge slice of tomato, lettuce and - I think - pesto. It was delicious - and if you see this on the menu in the new year please try it. It came with fries that were golden and crispy. A really nice course all round. Others had the turkey, beef or fish and again I heard no complaints. Pudding was a simple affair of a lemon cheesecake but, again, it was really superb. The other choices were Christmas pudding and something I've forgotten!! Staff were really friendly and helpful - bonus points for having an accessible toilet on the ground floor. As we left an interesting party arrived at the bar... I would assume this is a very popular venue with students - given its close proximity to the college and the university. Lovely meal, great atmosphere, I would most definitely come here again!

Bar
Tucked away in a small passageway off North Parade, The Hideout exudes an upscale and secretive vibe with its stone-walled nook and quirky decor. This walk-in-only bar offers over 200 types of whiskey from around the world, as well as themed cocktail menus that have previously been inspired by 90s hip hop albums and currently draw from old-time gangsters and criminals.
What a memorable experience! Jake was extremely welcoming and a great first impression. Dan is hands down the most talented bartender I have ever had the fortune of meeting. Not only were his cocktails well balanced and delicious, but he was also extremely knowledgeable about whiskey and gin, and took the time to educate myself and my partner on interesting spirits we would not have tried otherwise. A truly memorable evening, and I shall treasure the hideout glasses I bought! Cheers again gents.

Absolutely loved this cosy little bar. Perfect for a romantic evening. Music was great, the selection was unique and the cocktails were absolutely delicious. We only intended to pop in, but stayed until closing. Staff were super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable too. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Bath.

A lovely little, quirky bar. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks they were serving. You cannot book but we got to the bar around 5.30 on a Sunday and were seated straight away. It is small and I would guess it gets quite busy on drier nights, and especially Friday/Saturday nights. We will be back again at some point in the future to keep trying out the menu!

Great place to enjoy a well made cocktail or whiskey. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made the experience an excellent one. Not cheap but IMHO money well spent

Couldn’t have loved this place more, and it’s no wonder why they’ve won some pretty impressive awards. The guys on duty went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, in a genuine and friendly way. The perfect place to stop off for a very, very good marg. 10/10.

Really glad we did a bit of googling to see the good spots to visit. This did not disappoint. The set up is relaxed with a fun twist, an excellent spot for couples, first dates or with one of the lads. Cocktails cost a lot, but they’re strong, really tasty and it’s right in the heart of town in a great setting. Id give the old fashioned a go, even if you’re not a whiskey drinker. Would definitely visit here again.

The Botanist Bath is a unique gastropub-style dining spot located in an octagon-shaped building with a rich history as a private chapel for Georgian high society. The venue offers a bright and airy restaurant and bar where guests can enjoy brunch, botanical cocktails, and live entertainment. Visitors can also participate in gin tasting masterclasses to learn about the origins and flavors of different gins. The menu features a variety of brunch plates and creative cocktails such as The Plant Pot and Lilypad Martini.
I organised this for a girls dinner and it didn't disappoint! The ambience was wonderful, the food was sublime. We had superb service and the live music was a bonus. The decor of this beautiful old building is an amazing setting.

Went here after seeing it on First Dates. The place is absolutely amazing, its beautiful. One of the best restaurants I think I've been to. The service is very good. Wasn't hugely impressed with the food though. Did expect better. The food was good, not bad. Still, very much, worth coming to though. My gravy was cold and my partners steak was quite dry. Neither were worth asking to be rectified but did detract from our experience.
Christopher B — Google review
We’ll definitely be returning! The atmosphere is fantastic, full of charm and character, and the service couldn’t have been more efficient or friendly. I did miss the bit about pouring the sauce over the hanging kebab, but even so the food was delicious. It was also such a pleasure to find a place that’s dog-friendly around the bar area — so often you feel pushed aside, but here we felt truly welcomed and included. A wonderful experience all round.

What an exquisite building, and it's many uses, steeped in history, before being adapted to this wonderful restaurant! The first time I'd been recommended by my Daughter and her husband. I went to Bath for a two night stay with two friends, who also had not visited before. We all agreed it was a fabulous evening! It was most certainly a treat, likewise was the food! The Sunday roast was very tasty and with unlimited yorkshire puddings & gravy. We did book our table. The service was swift and attentive!
Di B — Google review
Beautiful venue in a stunning building, with a truly romantic and magical atmosphere. The huge tree in the middle of the bar creates a whimsical, almost fairy-tale vibe — we genuinely didn’t realise it wasn’t real until we looked closely! The décor is gorgeous and makes for a lovely dining setting, especially from the upstairs tables overlooking the main area. We both really enjoyed our mains — I had the steak and my partner had a burger, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Sadly, the drinks were a letdown. I ordered a mocktail that was very bitter and not enjoyable at all. Service was a bit hit and miss. Although staff were polite and apologised, they weren’t very attentive. The servers seemed quite young and were easily distracted, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy when we arrived. We had to flag them down a few times, which interrupted the flow of what could have been a more relaxing experience. The table we were seated at had a lovely view, but I had to keep an eye out as people passed close by — it wasn’t a huge issue, just something to note. There were quite a few hen parties and large groups, so it’s great for celebrations, but maybe not ideal if you’re after a calm, intimate meal. The biggest downside was the toilet — a long walk away (around 3 minutes), and when I got there it was messy and not well-stocked. The hallway on the way had a noticeable fishy smell, and I was nearly knocked into by a server rushing past on the stairs. Summary: ✅ Gorgeous setting ✅ Delicious food ⛔️ Bitter drink ⛔️ Slow service 🚻 Long walk to messy toilets 👯‍♀️ Groups & hen parties common Would I go again? Yes, for the atmosphere and food — but I’d skip the mocktails. Would be prepared to give this beautiful place another go, hopefully just an off day.

An unforgettable experience! This place completely amazed me — not only was the drink absolutely delicious, but the atmosphere was just breathtaking. Every detail of the interior is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed that it literally gave me chills. Visited here as it’s the First Dates TV location for UK tv show, the TV programme has it laid out differently but it’s still surreal if you are a fan of the show. Naturally I arrived first and wifey arrived a few minutes later and we had a cocktail at the bar, big shout out to Josh barman who was a Merlin to be! Engaging and proficient. Lots of young staff but all were confident and friendly to provide a god level of service. Sat upstairs and had a lovely hanging chicken skewer, it arrived very quickly and with some lovely sweet potato fries, all good here. Back down to the bar and more cocktails all very well presented enjoyed the whole experience and even had a picture behind the famous bar (thanks Josh) as it was our wedding anniversary. Thoroughly recommended and you won’t be fleeced when it comes time to pay.

The Bath Gin Bar, located on Queen Street, is a cozy and inviting spot that specializes in gins and cocktails. The bar offers a wide selection of gins, including their own distillation such as the Classic Gin with 11 botanicals. With over 230 other gins available, patrons can create unique G&T combinations with various mixers and garnishes.
We visited at the weekend and had such a lovely evening , the drinks are great and the staff are so knowledgable and fun, so much so we ended up booking a tour for the next day with George. The tour was amazing, so informative and interesting and we had such a laugh, felt like we’d known George for years, what an asset! Thank you, we will definitely pop by again next time we are that way

The bar does table service so there will be a service charge included on the bill. The staff were warm and we immediately felt welcomed. There's a decent selection of gins to try, as well as a flight which comes with a bottle of tonic. I'm not usually a gin drinker but I really enjoyed this place.

Entered a stranger. Left as a friend. Not only is this bar a heaven for gin lovers, it is also home to the most heartwarming and hospitable barkeepers I have met in a long, long time. Ava (which is short for "always very awesome") and Timms made a seemingly bland Wednesday evening a night to remember. And if you think that this sounds like an overtly glowing review than that's because those two and the bar they run deserve it. Try for yourself: I asked for the flight of gin and got more than just good drinks and background knowledge. A high recommend from me! You will always have a fan in Germany!

My firm first recommendation to anyone looking for a bar in Bath. Original and creative cocktail menu, attentive and knowledgeable staff and a delightfully snug ambience that makes you forget that you're a short walk away from the main shopping district of the city. The Three of Swords and The Star are some particular highlights of the menu (made with their own vast variety of unique distilled gins), although the bartenders are more than willing to accommodate any drinks outside of it! I find myself continually returning to this hidden gem, and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bath.

Highly recommend the Master Class experience. We were lucky enough to take the class with Harriet and Maddie. Fun, informative and so cool to make 3 of our own cocktails. Could not have had a lovelier time! PS if you don't want to take the class the cocktails are also worth going for. It was after our second visit in 2 days having cocktails that we signed up for the class.

Sincerely disappointed by this bar–please update your website/Google so travellers can plan correctly. I planned to come here on my last night in Bath and was very much looking forward to it–I love gin and Jane. The website says they’re open until midnight as does Google, though the door just vaguely says “late.” I arrived at 10pm. There were still patrons enjoying drinks, and the door was open. The female bartender greeted me cheerfully, and then the male bartender turned and told me they were done serving for the night with an insincere “sorry.” As much as I love this concept, I won’t bother in future when I’m in Bath. It would have cost him nothing to let the other bartender who clearly didn’t mind quickly mix me a drink.

I would highly recommend going to this sweet little gin bar just around the corner from the main city life. The atmosphere is lively yet a great place to sit and chill with some of the best drinks ive had. The menu has a unique almost habddrawn style, with carefully thought out drinks and flavours. Staff are friendly and inviting and are always keen for a laugh. Would definitely go here again
Storme S — Google review
The experience was spoilt by the security guy walking in and out constantly, all the time! Often joined by other staff to do some silly gossiping without caring that they stand right by their paying customers. In and out walked the security guy and felt dizzy after a while and sadly not because of my gin. Considering the price, my gin was disappointingly served in their smaller glasses that didn't feel right at all. I will not be able to recommend this place, they should do much better to be a high class gin bar!

The Roman Baths in Bath is a historical site featuring a well-preserved bathhouse and temple with natural spring water. Visitors can explore the museum and enjoy an audio tour designed for kids, immersing them in interactive ancient history. The site offers family-friendly activities including age-specific trails and a children's audioguide narrated by Michael Rosen. Additionally, the Pump Room restaurant within the complex provides an elegant dining experience with a dedicated children's menu.
A fantastic experience! Really enjoyed exploring the history of the Roman baths and how interactive the museum is. It really immerses you in another world and the main thermal bath pool is gorgeous to just sit down at for a moment in between learning about the history. A free audio guide is also included in the ticket, which was very welcome. Staff are kind and the gift shop has some lovely items, too. 5/5 would recommend when visiting Bath.

The must visit attraction if you ever find yourself in Bath! I will start with the fact that entry was 36 USD for one person, however, this is one of the few times I will say you are getting a lot for your money and keep in mind the amount of protection / preservation that the money goes to. Your ticket comes with an audio tour (which I skipped because I find them unbearable), there are many signs with explanations on what you're seeing, access to both floors of the main bath house, the interior has plenty of additional museum and underground excavated activities. It really does feel like a mini Pompei in the middle of England. The views are lovely, it wasn't as crowded as I expected in early November too which was a plus for taking my time to enjoy everything!
Kevin B — Google review
If you're visiting Bath, you have to go, its the Law! OK, it clearly isn't but you're going aren't you, because if you haven't before you need too. It's great, not expensive and spent 3.5 hours there, which probably says it all really. You won't be disappointed although I didn't think much of the shop but that's a minor detail right?
David T — Google review
The spa is amazingly set out. The free audio phones are really good to listen to information. I loved that the visuals were added so that you were looking at rocks but could see how they would have looked in the day. Plus on the wall videos showing life there. Quite a bit of nudity be warned! The Romans weren't shy! A lovely experience. However, it is a little pricey. I wouldn't repeat it as the cost is a little high. I suppose it pays for maintenance.
Michelle O — Google review
Interesting to visit, but not too sure if it's worth the money (£27.50). But if you are in Bath, probably one of the reason you are here?! The good thing is that Bath is a beautiful city with lot to see and walk around. To me, I went because I am here in Bath, but really I find not that special. The rest of city is much more interesting!!' I took a drink the filtered "hot spring" water at the Pump House.
David C — Google review
Very nice, it is always very interesting to go and see sights like these. I was very surprised to see that the water was not very clean. I can only hope that when the Romans were there that it was much better, but it was very interesting to see the intricate bath house with all of the amenities that they had built
Tom W — Google review
Very charming and extremely well maintained. It simply takes you back in time. The audio commentary provides a lot of information. Definitely worth the visit. Staff is very attentive and very helpful. A few staff member sitting near the bath are dressed in the costume from the Roman era. They were quite friendly and nice to talk yo. With permission, allow to take photographs with them.
Vrukesh P — Google review
A must visit if you are ever in Bath, even despite the high price of admission. It is definitely worth it specially if you use the audio guide. I highly recommend buying a ticket in advance as the lines for buying a ticket on the day are pretty long.

Bath Abbey is a late Medieval church with a Victorian Gothic interior designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott. The site has been a place of worship for over 1,000 years and boasts spectacular features such as the decorative ladders of angels on the West Front, inspired by Bishop Oliver King's dream. The magnificent Victorian Gothic interior includes a soaring vaulted stone ceiling above the nave, added by Scott in the 1860s.
Bath Abbey is an amazing place! The majestic architecture, beautiful stained glass, and incredible atmosphere are truly inspiring. The interior is richly decorated, and there is a gift shop as well as the opportunity to light candles. The tour provides lots of interesting insights into the Abbey's history. I highly recommend visiting to enjoy the beauty and serenity of this historic site.

I enjoyed a wonderful noonday service and a lovely tower tour, which is definitely worth doing. The tower tour allows you to see interesting details inside (clock, bells) and offers a great view out over the town and countryside. Shout out to our guide, whose name I cannot recall, but she had only been on the job for a week and was already a pro. The nave and the chapels are beautiful with an especially interesting ceiling. The volunteers or staff managing the line at the entrance could use a primer on welcome and hospitality. Everyone else was a pleasure.

I had a great Tower tour experience with the Irish and English guides! It was so fun ringing the bells and learning about the normally hidden parts of this historic building. Thank you!

We attended the Bath Abbey Tower Tour and had a wonderful time! Lots of steps, you go right to the top of the Abbey (which is quite high from the ground). Incredible views of the city and such an informative tour with Toby & Jamen. Thanks again!

Lovely few hours around Bath Abbey. Pay for entry (worth it) but got a free 1hr tour which was very informative. Also paid for the tower tour, which again takes an hour. You climb 240 odd steps to bell tower, clock tower and onto the top of roof. Tour done by El and Amy (I think) who were friendly helpful and informative. The climb is a bit of a challenge and a squeeze at times but worth it. I didn't do the discovery centre and museum that are also included in the Abbey entry price.

Absolutely fantastic and stunning example of medieval and baroque architecture. Jamen and Jackie gave us the tour and it was totally worth the small donation to be able to take an adventurous and inside tour of this amazing structure. Jamin and Jackie were full of insight information about this wonderful Abby. We got to see and hear the enormous bells up in the bell tower and walk along a winding circular staircase to go up on the roof l! It was quite thrilling!

Vivaldi Four Seasons and Lark Ascending Candlelight Concert at Bath Abbey was stunning. Great night out with Wifey in October, London Chamber Orchestra were amazing, and their guest violinist Hannah was something else. Sounded incredible in this venue, and the setting was utterly beautiful. Was a big chilly, as you'd expect for an Abbey in October with 7'C outside, so recommend you layer up & dress sensibly in winter, obviously 🌞

Taking the tour is a MUST!! So informational and love that each group is small enough where it feels more intimate. Like a private tour. Fun for the entire family. Exploring the beautiful abbey and being able to climb to the very top and on the inside where history is hidden. Listening to the bells rings and the tour guides were so wonderful making it fun for everyone. Highly recommend this experience when visiting Bath. Be sure to wear suitable shoes for climbing steep stairs if you take a tour.

Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House & Museum is located in Bath, and it's known for being the city's oldest house, dating back to around 1483. The house is famous for its association with the creation of the Sally Lunn Bun, a semi-sweet bread that has become a local delicacy. Legend has it that Sally Lunn, a Huguenot refugee, introduced this brioche-style bun to a baker in Bath in 1680.
Lunch in Bath’s oldest house was a great-tasting treat! We ordered the Steak and Mushroom Trencher, and the the Double Bacon savory half bun, pumpkin soup, and the apple cake for dessert. The bread was fresh, the beef was tender and juicy, the bacon was crisp, and the apple cake was delightful. If we live in the area, we’d probably frequent the place. We even bought some of their brioche bun for the road. If you’re the area, check it out! It’s a must-try!

Peak pastries in an old building that was started by a French lady? We ordered scones with clotted cream and jam, a lemon tart and traditional tea with the cubes and milk. Tea was kinda watery but hey we got the experience. Scones were good and Huge, tasted so good with the cold clotted cream and tangy jam. Tart in sweet bread was okay, too much bread for our liking and too tart. We also ordered potato and leek soup which was perfectly chunky and leaky— I loved it with the bread yum
Ariel J — Google review
Fascinating history with using the original recipe dating back to the 1600s, and absolutely delicious bun! Very large, with a perfect crispiness on the outside, and incredibly soft & fluffy on the inside. Excellent with the cinnamon butter topping, though I found it a tad too sweet. The service isn't the friendliest, however it's still definitely worth stopping by for a unique taste of history, and a warm, freshly made treat :)
Kat — Google review
The building is quaint, just sitting in there is a lovely experience. Good chance you have wait to get in as it is pretty busy. The soup was very nice, the buns were also rich and tasty, we had 3 different types and all very happy with it. Meal deals are worth considering. Their tea is excellent, worth buying the leaf tea in the shop in the basement. Bathroom was sliglhly neglected in the rush hour, but otherwise a memorable hour we had there.

Certainly best toasted. Tip 👇 Ordered takeaway of two famous Sally Lunn buns—one with sweet lemon curd and the other with cinnamon butter. Service was friendly, though there was a short wait. Packaging was neat (cutlery provided) and the buns were excellent—soft, light, and delicious. The buns were warm and ready to eat, and the extra we took home microwaved/toasted beautifully. A must-try Bath experience. Tip: go straight to the museum shop in the basement (accessed via a narrow Georgian spiral staircase) to order your take-home bun. The shop has some museum displays and good lighting, but it’s small and can feel a bit claustrophobic.
Onbarefeet — Google review
There were queues up the street, so we were disheartened and wet. However, on the way back we saw it was quieter and went inside. It is a really lovely experience. You eat Bath Buns which are gorgeous, with a teapot and there is a little museum downstairs - not much but adds to the atmosphere. Slow service but they are busy! Well worth a visit.
Michelle O — Google review
I came here for supper as it did receive suggestions to try their Sally buns. The buns were great and soft, as it's very soft and fluffy bun with many layers but may not be worth for £7+. The dinner menu is not bad as it includes an app of soup or bun with straight lettuce with no dressing (if you like even more buns), the main is essentially like a chicken a la king(or the inside of a meat pie/stew) served on half of an Sally bun, and a glass of wine for £22. From my observations from other tables they usually only eat half of the bun and all of the stew. Overall I personally wouldn't suggest dinner. Service was ok, but may not be the most observative due to experience. The afternoon tea may be a better option
James — Google review
Food is a tad pricey but understandable as it's a tourist go-to spot. There was a bit of a queue when we got there and I can say the food was worth the wait. A bit cramped though but comfortable. It's a resto that I'm glad i've tried, but just once.

Regular music and community events, with plenty of seating in the outside area at the rear. Not an up market venue, but if that's what you want Bath had plenty of such places... But if you want a good pub with decent ale, and a friendly lively atmosphere "The Bell" is for you.

Great little find. Friendly staff, friendly locals, just mega friendly, ran and owned by locals and was playing Tears for fears when we stopped in ... Bonus ...!!! (I don't believe the reviews on the menu though, seems they've obviously been paying someone for them) ...

I love this place - the drinks are the cheapest you’ll find in Bath and the staff are amazing (shout out to Freya ❤️). It’s such a good spot to socialise, and they host an open mic on Thursday evenings which makes the atmosphere even better. It’s the kind of pub you can happily go to on your own and still end up meeting new people and making friends.

The bell on a Wednesday is the place to be! If you’re searching for a bright creative musical environment the bell is your place. It’s a complete go to for me and all my friends. The music is great the prices aren’t bad and there is plenty of seating outside. Sometimes it can get a little loud but I think that’s the price you pay for such a lovely musical community

Great pub for a pint and some live music. The have a perfect little garden out the rear of the pub with a place to purchase homemade fired pizzas. Many live music events and great selection of beers, ales and ciders.

The Cork in Bath is a popular two-level bar located near the historic Roman Baths. The cozy upstairs area offers hearty fare and tapas, while the sleek downstairs cocktail bar features a heated terrace. It's open until the early hours on weekends, making it an ideal spot for late-night socializing. The venue also offers private karaoke pods for those who love to sing with friends.
I had a brilliant night here with friends for karaoke last night. The setup was easy to use, the sound was great, and there was a large fan unit to keep us cool. The bar was relaxed but lively so we sat and had a drink and a chat afterwards. What really made the night was the brilliant service. Caleb in particular was incredibly kind, genuinely some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Thank you so much! The bar itself is lovely, and there is also a large outdoor terrace which looked like a perfect for warm evenings. I’ll definitely be recommending The Cork to friends and family!

What a great team! Very polite and ready to do whatever is requested from my group. Music was a bit loud at some points through the afternoon but Will and Kiara on the bar were happy to adjust it for us Lovely pub

Fabulous karaoke evening at the Cork as usual. Such a great venue with an extensive and diverse range of songs. Great that there are now 2 microphones too. Definitely a 5 star night!

I had lunch at The Cork Saturday with my family and 2 dogs. Very welcoming staff, the food was delicious and I liked the strawberries and cream spritz so much I had to go back Sunday for another. Excellent service, I highly recommend and will definitely go again on my next trip to Bath.

Cork is an amazing venue! It has everything and more a pub could ask for. They have well priced drinks (and discounts if you’re eligible), as well as a live DJ and karaoke rooms which bring hours of entertainment, and a pub quiz every Sunday. The staff are also incredibly friendly and make you feel so welcomed from the moment you step your foot in the door. One of the best pubs in Bath hands down!!!

Big popular pub in the city centre. Lot's of screens for watching sporting events. Lot's of outside seating. Toilet's are a bit of a climb up a couple of floors and there's little different rooms to enjoy a sociable evening.

Canon Bottomless Brunch – Fantastic Experience! We had such a great time at Canon’s bottomless brunch! The atmosphere was vibrant, the drinks kept flowing, and the food was delicious. A special shout-out to Sam, who gave us outstanding service from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and always making sure our glasses were full. He really made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, relaxed brunch with excellent service!

Booked for 13:45, bottomless brunch for 20 people. Sat hear at 14:20 not all food is out and not a single drink has been served. I don’t like to complain but this is awful. No aircon and insisted we squeeze onto 2 tables when the table next to us is empty. 14:25 and last food just arrived. But still no drinks ☹️, manager just not interested.

Usual tap beers and a few real ales available at reasonable prices. One large room decently decorated, upstairs available too. Toilets were downstairs. Staff were friendly and polite. A few TV,s around showing sport. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.

Visited The Canon in Bath for bottomless brunch and honestly had the best time! Ellen/Lorax were amazing — super friendly, attentive, and made sure our glasses were never empty. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, perfect for a Saturday catch-up. The food came out quickly, was piping hot, and tasted fantastic. Great value for money too! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good menu on brunch spot in Bath — Ellen /Lorax really made the experience a 5-star one. Can’t wait to come back! 🍳🥂 Bonus that Ellen was dressed as the Lorax. Added a smile to all our orders!!

Oliver and Will have been absolutely fantastic. I have a serious allergy to broccoli and ive honestly never felt safer eating somewhere. They have both been absolutely amazing and are a true credit to the team. They have both made my bottomless brunch a wonderful experience.

Find for grabbing a pint but food was inedible. Fish n chips were over fried and didn’t taste fresh at all. Pizza seemed to have Mexican salsa on it - tasted horrendous. Neither my son nor I could eat it. Tofu salad was also pretty bad.

Hi I really love Canon but today my group of friends were kicked out for “pouring a drink into another drink”. We knew this to be wrong considering we’d arrived 20 minutes before hand and they were talking about us having done it 2 hours ago. In addition, they said we poured a cider into a beaver town glass on camera and yet refused to tell us which of us had done it and when. It had obviously been the people that moved across tables beforehand. We were kicked out and told it was 100% us due to camera footage even though we knew none of us had done it. This was incredibly strange getting kicked out of a pub aggressively while talking with the staff respectfully and felt especially cruel from a pub we love. Having been given no evidence. We told them later on that we knew it was the people next to us whom had moved table but they said they knew 100% that it was us. I’m upset and we have mutually agreed to never visit canon again.

We came down to Bath for the weekend for my husband’s birthday and this cocktail bar did not disappoint infact we went back it was that good, Max, Callum and staff could not do enough for you, the cocktails were all made from scratch and as a bonus the were 2 for £14 until 9pm on a Friday and Saturday night…. I cannot recommend this place enough! Super nice, relaxed atmosphere, good music (on a Sunday night) and awesome staff! The cocktails were very good, too. Thanks for the great martini. (the 5 stars I gave for food are actually for the drinks) We loved the whole mood of the place.

Be At One - Bath is a vibrant bar known for its sweet, sour, and spicy cocktails as well as mixology masterclasses. Situated conveniently near Bath Spa Railway Station and the Bath Bus Station hub, this grown-up cocktail bar offers alfresco terraces and an inviting atmosphere. The mixologists at Be At One provide a theatrical experience while crafting bespoke orders, with a dedicated Gin Menu featuring eight gin-based cocktails and four classic gin Martinis.
Be at one is always a good idea. The bartender on the night was very skilled and it was fun watching him do his tricks when mixing cocktails. Gave him a tip for offering my GF a free drink as it was her birthday. Usually they aren't allowed without the app and signing up

Fantastic cocktails, usually good staff. The guy on today whose been there quite a few times was incredibly rude to us twice. We always go in straight off the train, won’t be going again. Gutted, used to love the place! The guy who served us, who we’ve not seen before was lovely.

We had Andrew give us a cocktail making master class and he was absolutely fantastic! He made the couple of hours we were there great fun and he was great at his job - thank you Andrew! The only thing that needs to be made much clearer when booking in Bath is that the cocktail masterclass is at the main bar and the bar itself is small. We presumed we would have a separate room and as there was 18 of us, it was a bit of a squash at times. This wasn’t the bar staffs fault though and we had a great time. Thank you Andrew!

We booked a table for my friends birthday, the door staff were lovely as was the guy who seated us however the table we were sat on was tiny they had to squeeze 4 chairs around this one tiny table which also had a big cement block next to it holding up the umbrella, it felt like we were sat on eachothers laps. After the table next to us moved we moved ourselves onto a bigger table. The guy who served us behind the bar was lovely too but trying to get a drink at that time was extremely difficult and took a long wait. Obviously things that cannot be controlled on a busy Saturday I understand that. Drinks were lovely as usual but I would say trying to fit a table of 4 on a tiny table isn’t going to make for a happy group of people especially for the £25 deposit you have to pay to reserve the table. 🙂
Rich J — Google review
Honestly? Awful. On the hottest day of the year, there was zero ventilation. We booked a table for 14 and somehow ended up with space for about 6 to sit. The manager rudely told us we should have read the policy, saying we’d agreed to a “sitting and standing table”, but there was no space to stand either, unless we wanted to block the corridor. We explained (politely) that people in our group were pregnant, but he couldn’t have cared less. I think he even scoffed at us at one point, then refused to engage any further. We love the Cardiff Be At One so we were honestly gutted :(

Fidel Rum Bar is a cozy and friendly spot located on Trim Bridge, off Upper Borough Walls in Bath. The bar boasts an impressive selection of 140 types of rum, including white, dark, spiced, and flavored varieties. While the focus is on rum-based cocktails, there's also the option to enjoy the rum straight up. The bar offers classic Cuban cocktails like mojitos as well as their own unique creations such as the HMS Somerset.
A fantastic little bar offering Rum mainly but other tipples and cocktails alongside. As you step inside there’s the feel this place has a certain cosy vibe going on. The perfect hideaway with a close friend, a date or with a small gaggle of friends. We enjoyed a few drinks upstairs late in the evening. I wish the owner every success.

Stu K — Google review
This review is a little overdue as we went August 2023. The cocktails and atmosphere in the place are great! Admittedly it’s a little on the small side and you might struggle to always get a seat, but it’s definitely a place to visit if you like rum and cocktails. I don’t quite remember the prices we paid at the time, but they definitely don’t mug you off on the measures, we were pretty smashed after 3 or 4! 😂
Em L — Google review
Well worth a good detour to get here. We had a mojito, a bramble and a bakewell from their cocktail list. No scrimping on the rum, a very good free pured measure and all the extra garnishs and show with it, it was busy but that is to be expected with a propper cocktail making, it isnt quick and is well worth it.

Gorgeous little bar with great service, staff and more importantly cocktails! Pricing was surprisingly cheaper than I expected it to be - not gonna complain about it though! We managed to get in just before the crowd, so snagged a table upstairs, and in fact had the place pretty much to ourselves for the next hour. Highly recommended if you're in Bath!

Night club
Labyrinth Bar & Nightclub is a popular spot for an unforgettable night out. The friendly staff ensures that every guest feels special, and the venue offers fantastic music and a lively atmosphere. With three bars and two clubrooms, there's something for everyone. The club is open six days a week with different DJs each time, providing variety for patrons. Entry with pre-booked tickets is affordable, starting from around 4 pounds.
Me and my cousin were hunting for a club and stumbled across Labyrinth. What caught our eye? The owner’s savage sarcastic replies to reviews – we just had to see what kind of place this was. Turns out, it’s amazing! Great vibe, super friendly staff, and we even met a cool Polish security guy who made the night even better. Totally worth the curiosity trip!

Although a little rocky at the start due to there being no policy on the 21st birthday tickets for free entry Sam handled it as best as he could giving us a free bottle of bubbly. I still think T&C should be applied to the tickets I was sent to explain when this can be used as this definitely did ruin my night after not being out for a couple of years since having my son my friends and I were not allowed free energy .
Meg S — Google review
I was having a lovely night for my hen do until the bouncers absolutely ruined it. One bouncer asked me to drink my drink downstairs or give it up. I said I would head back down - happy to do so - he took my drink out my hand and threw it away. I said that wasn’t acceptable and asked for his name. He and all the other bouncers would not give his name. A female bouncer then man handled me out the area, really hurting me & causing bruising, despite me already being out the bar complex. All of this is on audio and video fortunately so will make an official complaint - what a shame for my hen to end that way! Never had such a bad experience and I’m 34 & it was a family hen do - hardly a wild one!! Edited in response to below & his other responses: Yes I was going down the stairs slowly due to them being steep, my dress having a train & holding a full red drink in a white dress! No one was trying to come up or down and there was no blockage. The bouncer was incredibly impatient & nasty. I was never offered his badge number. Another bouncer said he couldn’t share his name because the guy is more senior than him and agreed he was a prick (he said this isn’t the first occasion). He wouldn’t let us have a photo of him or his badge and made multiple attempts to duck and hide away. If his behaviour was acceptable and he knew it was on cctv why would that be the case? The manager who has responded below swore at my friend & refused to speak to any of us until he heard one of the girls mention reviews! The lady said she worked at the club so I can only presume below is another lie. The AI reviews for this club mention the rude bouncers and I only wish we had checked them before we came. So not to tarnish everyone with the same brush I will say the DJ was a lovely guy. Loved all the shoutouts and him calling me out to DJ. Hopefully he can find a better club to work at & we will visit him there!
Jen C — Google review
Booked a VIP table for a hen party. All the staff were really friendly and the drag hosts made our night. The club was very responsive to my booking request and was easy to arrange. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening with bingo, karaoke and dancing!

Obviously there was no food but every bar tender I’ve talked to tonight the only one that I enjoyed and was happy about there customer service was spot on and that’s was from Sophie so whoever she was serving me give the girl a pay rise or atleast a free night out because she’s the one that’ll make you money with the energy and motivation she shows
Mark D — Google review
I’m writing on here in regard to an incident that occurred at Labyrinth nightclub on 29.08.25. In the queue, there was a young lady who was openly voicing how she was highly under the influence of both alcohol and drugs. She repeatedly fell to the ground and had to be helped up by others in the queue whom she didn’t know. This was reported to three people, including the red-vested “welfare” officers. This officer said that she would have to wait until she was at the front of the queue in order to qualify for being safely assisted in getting home as there was “nothing he could do”. It was then mentioned to both the bouncer of the nightclub and a lady scanning tickets. They said that they would help her but after a measly test of walking in a straight line she was admitted into the club. Inside she was slumped on a chair drinking who knows what before we finally saw her getting kicked out. Rather than caring about the safety of this young girl, they made her pay for entry before kicking her out (we don’t know if they assisted her in getting home safely or if she was left to her own devices after being removed). For a club who we have seen advertise their commitment to safety, we were very disappointed to witness this and worried for the girl and any other people who this happens to.

Tabs W — Google review
Firstly I want to go over a few things I know the owner does read and respond to these views. This is not based off of a 1 time thing but several times I have been in the venue, Reading company policy and owner responses to customer reviews. Personal experience: 1) other than the date of this review which is 2/9/2025 I have never left the venue without being sick on the way home on the date mentioned this in the review was different as me and my friend left after 20 minutes of being in the venue. 2) 2/9/2025 was the only time of coming into your venue where I was targeted of a search after your female bouncer which was on this date (see below of venue owners claim) saying if I was to come in to not cause problems even though I'm someone who will defend my rights even from security but will not cause problems for any venue (please read section on your policies) 3) your security refused to let me empty my pockets during the pat down and tried to claim I had alcohol on me to make me a subject of a search and tried to claim that my vape that was in my hand was something else stating 3a. Security "What's that in your hands" me "vape" security "that's a vape?" 3b. Security "that's a bit big for a vape" me "ye I don't get small shitty 600s" security "it's still big". 4) after feeling only one of my mates pockets without a thorough search or pat down your security let me mate through immediately. Now you will try to claim that searches are discretionary however I have proof from your own policy statement that all searches are mandatory. Issues with your policy: I will now go over your policies that were violations of rights and/or horrible in general. 1) banning recording devices although yes you hold the right to ban people recording in the venue you do not and cannot ban people from recording security for their own protection. 2) medication ban. I do understand this HOWEVER you CANNOT BAN MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OR MEDICATION as long as it is prescribed now I will side with you slightly on this as your company does state to contact them should this be the case however in order for people to do this they must read your terms and conditions for this, which generally people are not expected or will do. Before you state neither of these are in your policies which I have got screenshots of. Customer reviews. I have also gone through customer reviews with several pointing out misleading advertising and several explaining how security can be on the rougher side plus with the owner spreading either a rumours borderline defamation or passive aggressive responses. 1) owner states there are no female bouncers in the venue this comment was 4 weeks ago this as of the date of this review incorrect please comment on this. 2) the company claims free drinks with entry which is a standard promotion for nightclubs owners response was that the promotion is a chance of free drinks which is immediately false advertisement. 3) I understand when security steps in to situations they can be authoritarian to control the situation but when the owner goes into explicit detail in comments of reviews of what happened this shows that the company cannot handle any criticism of the company all together. Now I am not writing this review to ruin your review scores but I want to see genuine change for the industry and your venue I will not be writing this to mess with your company but to open discussion for improvement I hope that when the owners read this they will re-evaluate the systems I have brought up I will also gladly in private send all evidence that was gathered should you decide to want to look at and work on these issues. Thank you for your time and patience, Sean.

Beautiful people! Oldest club in Bath, open until 6-7am! DJ will play your songs which is amazing! No limits on the amount 0f songs you can ask to play and closing time. If it's busy they go on till the morning! Great location, large rooms, cool underground dancefloor, great sound system and DJs. Nice bar, friendly staff. Friendly bouncers. We bought the package with ciroc vodka and were served by a gorgeous bartender. Thank you!

AVOID! the worst place I've been to. Place full of aggressive teens (a lot looked underage) that were showing threatening behaviour and security on the floor was ignoring it. Someone was even trying to start fight with us for no reason. We left after about 1 hour and were waiting for coats for 15min as ladies were more interested in talking to men than working. People were allowed to skip line as friends with bouncers that were rude.

We had booked a VIP area with *private* DJ for my friends hen do. When we arrived we were taken to a large area at the back of the club which we assumed was the VIP area, however other people were coming in and out of it as though it was part of the main club? We were given all the alcohol that we had paid for and it came out with ice buckets, loads of mixers, sparklers etc which was really nice. However when we couldn't see a DJ or a booth we asked about the private DJ we had paid for. We were told that the DJ wasn't private for just us, it was private for the whole club? They told us that they had just renovated so there was no longer room for a private DJ but didnt think to drop us an email to let us know. Their website still advertises a "VIP DJ" - its probably worth changing that before trading standards gets wind of it 🙃We then asked if we could request some songs, which we were told we could, as the music was shocking. However the DJ gave us every excuse he could think of for not playing our songs, like how he was about to go downstairs and would play them there (this never happened). They didn't want to give us a refund, despite us paying for something that wasn't provided, but they gave us a free bottle of vodka. It was a nice gesture but they had already killed the vibe about half an hour before, so we left and went to Revs next door.

Pulteney Bridge, constructed in 1774 by Robert Adam, is a picturesque and historic landmark in Bath. It spans the River Avon and is adorned with rows of shops on both sides, reminiscent of Venice's Rialto. The bridge's notable architecture, designed in a symmetrical Palladian style during the Georgian era, makes it a popular destination for sightseers and photographers alike. Its location offers stunning views from Parade Bridge, Parade Gardens, and the weir.
A unique bridge into Bath with shops and cafes right on it! The walk across the bridge is very pleasant, especially the beautiful views of the River Avon and the old buildings of the city. A great place for photos, a leisurely stroll and a quick stop at a cafe. The history and atmosphere is impressive!

A stunning historical bridge with great views of the river Avon. We enjoyed a lovely boat trip down the river with a very informative skipper and a lovely, helpful young man who served hot drinks and snacks on board. It's so refreshing to see a young person working hard rather than sitting in front of a screen all day. We even spotted a heron on the trip. On the other side of the bridge, it's rather odd and ugly looking but unusual and worth a look.

Absolutely stunning! We had a wonderful meal at a restaurant along Pulteney Bridge, which was such a charming spot with plenty of great eateries to choose from. The whole city felt so clean, welcoming, and full of character. The Georgian architecture is breathtaking, the streets are steeped in history, and everywhere you turn there’s something beautiful to see. From the iconic Roman Baths to the sweeping views around the city, Bath truly captured my heart. I completely fell in love with this city and can’t wait to come back and explore even more!

Pulteney Bridge is stunning. Designed in the Palladial architectural stye, a 17-18th century take on classical architecture from ancient Greek and Roman traditions, it is one of only four bridges in the world tonhave shops across it's full span on both sides! I did not visit any of these shops so cannot speak on their quality. I can, however, advise a trip to Pulteney or a nearby bridge with a view of Pulteney at either sunrise or sunset. I did this myself, cycling across a parallel bridge before sunrise to capture a unique view of this wonderful bridge. There it stood ready for another day of supporting vehicles and pedestrians alike in making their journeys between Central Bath and the suburb of Bathwick. Infrastructure is crucial to supporting us in living our lives. When it comes in a form as aesthetically pleasing as Pulteney bridge, it is impossible not to love.

Beautiful historic bridge with lovely views of the river and weir. Great spot for photos and a peaceful walk and a must-see in Bath! Beautiful city full of history and charm. Stunning architecture, relaxing Roman Baths, and lovely riverside walks. Bath is always a joy to explore!

Gorgeous bridge with a nearby sluice gate and weir, this Iconic structure was built to extend the City without people realizing they are crossing the river, lined by shops and a cafe with river views it certainly is different but so brilliantly built. Just a three min walk from the Abbey and behind the Impressive Guildhall.
Glen A — Google review
Ok so walk across the bridge , on the right side heading out of the city , and there is a small stair that has a sign for a Thai restaurant . Looks a bit dodgy but head down there for some amazing views ! I found it by mistake as I looked through the window of the shop and saw the weir behind ! Don’t even know it was there ! River boat tours leave from there too and it’s a nice to walk along the river and get some views of bath that you might miss .

Had an awesome time at Turtle Bay Bath enjoying Caribbean food for dinner with my cousins! The vibe was fun and energetic, with vibrant decor and great music setting the perfect mood. The food was full of bold flavours—from spicy jerk chicken to delicious curry goat, everything was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were a hit too, adding to the tropical experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It was the perfect spot for a relaxed and flavorful evening out.

very positive experience of today's breakfast at turtle bay. The breakfast I chose was delicious. I also had the opportunity to meet the head chef, for which I am very grateful. full professionalism, overall very nice service! I recommend.

This was a weird one! I found a piece of glass in the French fries. (Chips). It was shocking. Obviously not an intentional thing so I can’t blame anyone. My guess is a glitch at the manufacturer level. I felt SO awkward mentioning it, as if I’m a scammer or something. I’m a CPA so definitely not pulling a stunt. Management was apologetic and took the meal off the tab, which I appreciate. I had the jerk chicken breast, which was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed the yellow pepper sauce (and the variety in general).

At Turtle Bay in Bath we stayed, Where colours danced and music played, The cocktails shone, each glass a delight, A tropical burst in the soft city night. Our plates arrived with flavour bold, Spices warming, stories told, Each bite a joy, a taste so true, A feast of sunshine breaking through. Nia’s smile lit the evening bright, Her kindness made the vibe just right, And Eloise, on her trial run, Brought warmth and laughter, joined the fun. With service shining, food so fine, We sipped, we laughed, lost track of time— Next trip to Bath, it’s plain to say, We’ll head straight back to Turtle Bay.

Great atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Love the feature wall of speakers too. Really friendly chilled staff to have a laugh with. Alex did great on his first day and Becky made us feel right at home. Cocktails were delicious. Then we get to the food... we got the sharing platter for 2. My god this thing should be an eating challenge! Sooo much fooood! And every mouthful was a flavour explosion. Really loved the different sauces that came on each dish. Me and my partner were dancing to the food as well as the reggae and dub. And I finally get what dumplings are about... yuuuum. Couldn't have been a better crescendo to a wonderful afternoon in Bath.

Fine dining restaurant
The Olive Tree Restaurant, located within The Queensberry Hotel in Bath, is a standout dining destination with its Michelin-starred status and elegant setting. Executive head chef Chris Cleghorn curates a menu that showcases locally sourced seasonal British cuisine with Mediterranean influences. The restaurant offers an array of tasting menus including options for vegetarians, pescatarians, vegans, and those who prefer dairy-free dishes. Diners can expect creative preparations of ingredients sourced from the local area.
My husband and I went for supper last weekend for our first wedding anniversary. We were seriously impressed on all counts, the food was inventive and delicious, the service was friendly but not intrusive and the chefs coming out to explain the dishes was a nice touch. We haven’t had a Michelin star meal of this calibre since Roots in York- in our opinion we finally found a restaurant to rival it. Truly an exceptional experience, don’t hesitate just book! Thank you for a lovely evening!
Octavia S — Google review
Good standard for a 1 star. Manager in shift felt a bit disconnected or odd if I may say. All the waiters were professional and attentive. Wine was delicious and well recommended. We had the 3 course set with amuse bouche and petits fours, flavours were different and interesting, chefs coming to the tables was refreshing to see and well executed. It left a bit to desire on actual course size and time that it took for us to finish our meal. It was all too quick. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quite nice. I would just say the walls were missing some extra decor. Overall good experience, though for the price paid it left a bit to desire.
Dinis A — Google review
An instant favourite. Great food and service, spacious tables, lovely atmosphere. Reasonably priced for 2025: £70 for three courses. Interesting crab with tomato essence segued to amazing bread and clotted cream - I asked for a second helping. Lobster was so tender and fresh and raspberries were a great balance against the heavy food. Wine was £9 a glass. What a fantastic experience
Yin H — Google review
We booked a stay at the charming Queensbury Hotel during a visit to Bath last weekend, and thought it would be great to sample the only Michelin Star restaurant in the city, which is in the hotel. The restaurant is on the lowest floor bit is light and airy and tastefully decorated - though the lighting was a little too bright (especially the spots), for a cosy dinner and didn't flatter the presentation of the dishes unfortunately. We opted for the 5 course taster with a wine pairing. (We were already in the hotel, so no need to drive, do why not?). As expected the food was great with beautiful flavour combinations, perfectly executed. The wine pairing really added to the dishes, though the wine portions were a little meagre. The service was also great from a very young staff, though sometimes their presentation and descriptions of the dishes seemed over rehearsed and unnatural. But I'm sure confidence will shine through soon enough. All in all a very satisfying Michelin Star dining experience.
Simon T — Google review
We almost cancelled our booking because of a recent review but we are so glad we went. The food was delicious and full of rich, balanced flavours (the pictures online really don’t do it justice). Every dish was beautifully presented, and both the vegetarian and meat options were packed with taste, creativity and quality. The team was professional, polite, and attentive, and the restaurant itself is stylishly decorated with a warm atmosphere. Having eaten in several Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe, we can confidently say this restaurant deserves its star. The only slightly odd thing was the bread being served in the middle of the meal instead of at the beginning — but it was so good that we did not care about the choice of sequencing in the menu. We recommend this restaurant if you enjoy good food!
W — Google review
Michelin star restaurant. Innovative, flavorful. 7 course tasting menu was made gluten free. Each course was beautifully plated, with complex combination of flavors that was impressive and delicious. Highly recommend. For smaller appetites, I recommend choosing 3 or 5 course options.
Susan W — Google review
Love when places of this quality do vegan menus. It didn't disappoint at all! Beautifully presented, incredible tastes and service was amazing. From a vegan food perspective, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vegan fine dining experience.
Lewis C — Google review
I really wanted to like the Olive Tree but this is not Michelin star dining. Most courses were either underwhelming, bizarre or just unpleasant. The trout was flavourless and it had a pin bone left in it. The rye bread, which oddly came four plates in, was a basic bread roll. The raviolo had so much going on that it was completely lost, and the plate included some sad wedges of leek that were truly bleak. The "islands chocolate" had so much olive oil and balsamic that it was like a mouthful of salad. The raspberries were just frozen raspberries in pieces with some meringue atop a flavourless "tonka bean" mousse. The food is pretentiousness with no substance. The staff are also a little bit too inexperienced to be able to deliver the level of service you should expect when you're paying upwards of £200 per person and they deliver every course with a level of theatre that only much, much better food can justify. Honestly, save your cash.

Affordable family eatery. Pizza was salty for my palette but I can’t complain for the price I paid The mean reason why I chose to eat here is they serve half portion pizza. I was craving pizza but didn’t want a the full portion The service was good I didn’t like the atmosphere due to disco-like lighting. It shows in the “pinkish” photo

This is a partial review! We got here as they opened and were seated. We ordered and received our drinks. We then ordered our food and never saw our server again (Libby)! We had to go to the bar to inquire about our food! We actually saw our server serve a group of very loud women whose kids were running amok in the restaurant and kept hitting my daughters chair as they ran by! The bar keep (or manager) came over and explained that they only had one cook and comped our drinks. We never got to try the food as we had tickets to an event and had to leave. The atmosphere was very nice but was soured by the irresponsible fellow patrons and their kids. It was not a good experience. I hope you have a better one if you choose to eat here. Sorry that the review could not be better, Revolution. 😞

Came in here for lunch. The service was good and very quick. We ordered the bacon and cheese burger with fries. I didn't enjoy the sauce which came with the burger, the rest of the burger was delicious. It was a fair size and a really good price. The bacon and cheese burger was only £12.

Superb park with plenty of open green space, views of the famous Royal Crescent, and the beautiful Botanical Garden. A lovely place for a walk, not far from the city centre. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the calming influence of nature. The Botanical Gardens boast an impressive collection of trees, with wonderful colours in October. Facilities include a café, play area and plenty of paid parking. There's also a distinctive historic bandstand. One criticism - toilet facilities were poor when I visited, with several cubicles out of use due to damage, despite a 20p charge.

I took my daughter's for a bottomless brunch for a birthday treat. We were given a bottle of prosecco with flame candle when we arrived, so off to an excellent start. I’ve been to the Slug & Lettuce in Bath on each of my last three visits, and it’s always been a reliable stop. This time around was no different — the atmosphere was the same as usual, and because it wasn’t busy, service was fine with no issues. I only went for cocktails on this visit, and they were decent. The buy-one-get-one-free deal makes it especially good value — £13.65 gets you two cocktails, which is hard to argue with in Bath. Nothing particularly stood out either way, but it did exactly what I expected. A solid choice for a few drinks in the city. I’d recommend it and will definitely return myself.

The Theatre Royal, Bath is a stunning Georgian playhouse adorned with plush red and gold décor. It was built in 1805 and is considered one of the most important examples of Georgian theatre architecture. Over the years, it has hosted performances by renowned actors and continues to captivate audiences with a diverse range of entertainment including drama, West End productions, opera, comedy, and dance across its three auditoriums.
Very friendly staff and a wonderful performance of Emma on the last weekend of the Jane Austen Festival! Even if ( 🚨 spoiler alert!) the iconic line ‘if I loved you less I could talk about it more’ was missing, 🚨 spoiler over! it was a really funny and heartwarming adaptation of a beloved classic, with a very talented cast. The merging of Harriet and Mrs Bates’ characters was cleverly done and giving her character more autonomy was a refreshing twist. The theatre itself is wheelchair accessible, however the accessible bathroom is quite tight to navigate, and the lift is tricky as you have to hold down the buttons for the entire journey which is not accessible for lots of conditions.
Blossom — Google review
I really enjoyed "Small Hotel" featuring Ralph Finneas! I was able to purchase tickets on site about twenty minutes before the performance, and the view from the top level Grand Circle was still great. Thank you!

Went to see little women with my friend, straight in seats aren't bad, leg room for those of us that are a bit taller isn't the best. The theatre itself is in good keeping. The bar is usual bar prices for that kind of place although cash isn't accepted and its card only. Overall a nice experience

Small but very atmospheric and attractive theatre...we went to see Death on the Nile...great acting, super light work bringing the stage and acts to life...we had seats in stalls, row J - very good view. Couple of small bars with seats - beer, wine and soft drinks available.
AGa — Google review
Sigh. The performances here vary but I've seen some great stuff. However the venue is another over rated ancient building with many poor sight lines and uncomfortable seats. It's reputation probably arises from those who can afford centre stalls. It would be better to rebuild it. There are some very fine modern theatres.
Martin G — Google review
We took my daughter to see Ballet Rambert last night as part of a present for her 30th birthday. The performance was amazing. A wonderful experience that was then completely ruined by the rude and disrespectful theatre staff hurrying us out of the auditorium. One member of a staff was banging on the door of the female toilet whilst my daughter was in there. The performance started at 7:30pm and was advertised to have a running time of 1 hour 30 mins with an interlude. Including the ushering out, the banging in the toilet door and my complaining twice to the manager. We still left the theatre at 9pm. So nobody could accuse us of dawdling. To add insult to injury, while I was speaking to Jack the manager, he continued to keep his ear piece in his ear and was totally distracted and uninterested. No apology, no care, no interest. Some serious customer service training is needed. Tickets are not cheap and in a period of time when money is scarce, this is not the way to encourage people to the arts. I am beyond disappointed.
BSL — Google review
This is a beautiful theatre. The seats are not the most comfortable and there are a number of pillars that can reduce the view (this obviously comes with old buildings!). But the quality of the sets they use are excellent, along with a really good range of plays and musicals.

We visited the King of Wessex Wetherspoon in Bath for breakfast on the weekend, and as the only Wetherspoon in the city, it was absolutely packed. Despite how busy it was, the staff were quick and efficient with our order, which was impressive. The food was tasty and served hot, and as expected from Wetherspoon, the prices were very affordable, making it a great value-for-money option. The atmosphere was lively, though it can get quite crowded during peak times. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a budget-friendly meal in Bath, but be prepared for a busy environment, especially on weekends.

very busy establishment, but I fear that is more so, for the $$ value & not the quality - but I could be wrong ! Mrs. A had a cheeseburger which she felt lacked any sort of flavour. I had their "NEW" steak & ale pie with chips which was not bad, other than the pie was served at such a high temperature, that you almost had to eat everything else (chips n peas) in advance while waiting for the pie to cool. As I said the prices were very reasonable, Burger, pie, 2 pints for 19 GBP in downtown Bath (great location) I will just mention that the fish n chips looked very good & we both regret not trying them - SPA007

Amazing little indie spot in Bath!! The food was an immediate 10, not too much and not too little. We got the Bang Bang burger and BBQ Bacon Burger, both were very good and came out perfect temp. I'm assuming everything is made completely fresh. They were £12/13, and came with the best fries. The drinks were a decent price and their cocktails were the highlight to our night! Really easy to navigate. Toilets are upstairs so that makes it a bit inaccessible. The service was a 10 the whole night and we felt very comfortable there. Would 100% recommend ♥️

Amazing cocktails, a massive variety of food. Chicken or beef burgers, chicken tenders, loaded fries. And their dip selection is crazy good!

We turned up 10 minutes before happy hour and were queueing patiently at the bar. Our friend order 2 minutes before happy hour ended and ordered with no issue. We asked to add onto the order or just order with them so we can be put through the till before happy hour finishes and were told “happy hour has been on since 5, you should have got here sooner”. Firstly, we work full time jobs outside of Bath and got here as soon as we could. Secondly, why couldn’t we order at the same time as our friends? Not a big order, might I add. Our friends ordered two of the same cocktail (on happy hour) and we wanted to order the same. We are also super respectful and waiting quietly for our order to be take. I understand the premise however we all work in a bar and rule one of a customer facing role is be accommodating? We didn’t come in late and were just trying to get our whole order taken before the bartender walked away? We were then sat uncomfortably listening to the two bartenders talking badly on the encounter. It was supposed to be a celebration tonight and now we wish we went somewhere else. So disappointed as we have been coming here for a while.

Spent a few hours in Juno this afternoon. Served by both Haych and Paul, they were really friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere and vibes of the place is perfect and the brunch was amazing. Would highly recommend 10/10

A really nice place to get a bite to eat and have a drink in the centre of Bath. Just off the Main Street and was reasonably quiet even when every other place was swarmed with Christmas Market traffic. Prices are fair for the area (Burger and Pint of Cider for £17) and the place has a really nice atmosphere to it. Staff are friendly and service was very quick, food ordered to on the table within 15-20 minutes.

Robun is a Japanese-inspired restaurant located in the heart of Bath, offering a contemporary take on Japanese cuisine. The restaurant has gained acclaim for its eclectic and beautifully crafted menu that includes sushi dishes like akami sashimi and panko smoked salmon maki, as well as fried treats such as crispy chicken karaage and bao buns filled with aromatic pork and chicken.
Amazing Food and Service! The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the tasting menu. The fish was super fresh and just melted in my mouth. The black cod was perfectly cooked, flaking beautifully, and the miso soup was surprisingly one of my favorites—it was outstanding! Naomi, our waitress, was excellent. She gave great recommendations and made sure everything was served with a great pacing. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had our anniversary meal there on a Saturday night. My husband must have put it in our reservation as our server mentioned it which I thought was a nice considerate touch. The food came quickly & was delicious, we weren’t that hungry but demolished it all very quickly. We did opt for pudding, mochi & the cheesecake, both very tasty & a good size to finish the meal. I had a mocktail & it was tasty though a little strong, like squash that hadn’t been diluted enough. I did get a little cold as the evening progressed, I think we were right in the movement of the air conditioning but I’d rather than than be too hot. It’s not cheap but the quality is definitely worth the price. Definitely recommend 👍👍

We’ve eaten here in the evening and at lunch for the bento boxes. Both times were lovely - the restaurant is spotless, the staff are lovely, and a lovely, calm atmosphere. The food is absolutely beautiful, but I could happily eat an entire vat of the Japanese pickled vegetables. The drinks also looked lovely, both times we were unable to have anything alcoholic but the apricot sour and pear drink were divine. Would absolutely recommend

Really nice place to eat. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Clean tidy restaurant. Food and cocktails were amazing. We used a redletter day experience which is a set menu and a really nice way to experience Japanese food for the first time. ( See the celebration menu photo ) Would 100% return.

I chose this restaurant specifically because it was featured in the Michelin Guide as a recommended place in Bath, and I wanted to make the evening special for my sister’s birthday. Unfortunately, the entire experience was deeply disappointing. From the very beginning, the staff were unhelpful and inattentive. There was no warmth or effort to make the night feel even remotely welcoming or enjoyable. The food itself was the main issue. The raw tuna we ordered was clearly not fresh and appeared to be out of date — please refer to the attached photo. It had an unpleasant smell and taste, and should never have been served. Additionally, the wagyu dish came out overcooked and tough, which completely defeated the point of ordering premium meat. Most importantly, I became unwell shortly after the meal, and I spent the rest of the night sick. This completely ruined what was meant to be a special celebration. For a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, this was shocking. I would strongly advise others to reconsider dining here until the quality, freshness of ingredients, and staff training are seriously addressed. I would not return.

I have booked and cancelled previously after having looked at reviews here. Tonight I decided to give it a go regardless and decide for myself. We we greeted immediately by friendly staff who seated us and took our orders quickly. They offered advice on an appropriate amount of food for 2 which was very helpful. The food arrived quickly and was all delicious. With regards to other reviews offering only 1 star. This is really not helpful for other potential customers. 1 star is a score when you find a toenail or a mouse poo in your food. Be reasonable! Yes it is relatively expensive but they don't hide the prices - it it is too expensive for you, go somewhere cheaper.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my sister to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. Firstly, the service was not great — the staff seemed unhelpful and not particularly kind or attentive. When we placed our order, our food was brought out before our drinks, which already felt quite unprofessional. When the dishes arrived, things only got worse. The raw tuna sashimi looked far from fresh (as shown in the attached photo) and appeared to be out of date. We also ordered the Wagyu steak, which was served overcooked, despite being a premium dish. We had to send it back, which disrupted the whole dinner. To make matters worse, my sister actually felt sick afterwards, which we suspect was due to the food quality. Overall, this was meant to be a special celebration, but the poor service and disappointing food completely ruined the experience. Definitely not what we expected given the restaurant’s reputation and prices.

We booked a table to have drinks with friends before catching a train. On arrival, they had lost our booking and hadn’t reserved a table, so asked if we wanted the huge banquet table for 20+ people, there were 5 of us. We asked and got given a smaller table. We ordered a round and some food on the app, and I went to the bar to order shots and food. One barman was in conversation with a customer when I got there and kept chatting, I waited and two other men came up to the bar after me. A red-headed barmaid came over to the men and asked who was first, totally ignoring me. I said I had been there longer, which she ignored but asked what I wanted whilst pouring their drinks. She poured 4 shots, but tried to pour way under the measures, and was so disgruntled when I asked her to fill the 25ml glasses. She then tipped herself on my payment, which I didn’t realise until I got back to the table as she didn’t offer me a receipt. I will not be returning.

Spa
Thermae Bath Spa is a modern spa that offers the unique experience of bathing in natural hot-spring water, including an open-air rooftop pool. Designed by Nicholas Grimshaw, the complex features a striking combination of Bath-stone and glass architecture. Visitors can choose between the sleekly luxurious Minerva Bath with its gentle currents or the smaller rooftop pool offering views of Bath's skyline, especially atmospheric at twilight.
Booked the Twilight for 2 package and visited on Thursday night. Overall very good experience and great value for the price, and we found the facilities to be rather well-maintained. Both the Minerva Bath (on the LG floor) and the Rooftop Bath were lovely, and the water was warm enough but not too hot. We visited on a very sunny day which brought the experience to a whole next level. The sharing platter, soups, and drinks at the café after the 2-hour spa session was also nice.
Barilly L — Google review
I had a thoroughly positive experience at this facility. The premises are well-maintained and efficiently organized. The multi-level structure includes a heated swimming pool on both the ground floor and the rooftop, offering a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The sauna rooms, located on the middle level, are clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the two-hour spa treatment—it was both enjoyable and deeply relaxing, and a perfect way to unwind. Phone is not allowed inside the picture are from the nice building cross the road.

What a fantastic experience at Thermae Bath Spa! We booked a twilight for two well in advance of our visit to Bath. We had no wait, robes and towels supplied, lockers, and showers available. The pools were all enjoyable and the rooftop pool had exquisite views! Our visit was in April during a sunny day/twilight. So glad we didn't miss an opportunity to enjoy a spa day. We went into the dry and steam saunas, relaxation room, and ice bath. This was our very first stop during our stay in Bath and it really set the tone. Everyone was friendly and helpful at the spa. We ended our evening at the cafe with the sharing platter, soup and drinks. Could not think of a better way to spend our first evening in Bath. No phones allowed! This helped us to immerse ourselves in the experience ♥️

Thermae Bath Spa is a really relaxing experience and well worth a visit. Ground Floor Reception area and the No.8 Shop. Upper Ground Floor Changing rooms and lockers. First Floor Massage suite, Springs Café and Restaurant where you can get an extra 30 minutes if you spend something, plus a nice relaxation area. Second Floor Wellness Suite with Roman and Georgian steam rooms, infrared sauna, ice chamber and Celestial relaxation room, plus an outdoor terrace. Third Floor The rooftop pool with incredible views, especially on cold days. It is filled with naturally heated mineral rich spring water and kept at a lovely warm temperature. There is also a built in jacuzzi section which makes it extra relaxing. Easily my favourite part of the whole visit. Lower Ground Floor The Minerva Bath is much bigger than the rooftop pool, also heated with natural hot spring water and jacuzzi features built in. The historic Hot Bath is here too, accessed by a sloping corridor. You get two hours spa time with the option of an extra 30 minutes if you use the café, and they provide a free towel and robe which is really handy. Staff are welcoming and friendly, and I also liked that phones are locked away in a pouch until you finish which makes it much more peaceful without distractions. A couple of negatives though. The changing rooms are unisex but not clearly signed which can feel awkward, although there are private cubicles to use. The lockers are also overcomplicated with the wristband system, a simple key or coin locker would be much easier. Overall it is a brilliant way to spend a few hours in Bath and a unique chance to enjoy the city’s famous natural hot springs.
Ayyub C — Google review
If I could give 2.5 stars, I would. It was underwhelming as a spa. The pool, steam room, and sauna were not hot enough. Robes and towels were provided, but no footwear. Also, swim suits required (which is not my preference in a spa). You make a booking, and you’re allowed in 2 hours inside. I would suggest going early morning. Our booking was at 9:30, and by the end of the booking (basically after 11), the place got so packed we decided to leave early. Very mediocre experience.

Awesome, unbelievable. Honestly after visiting the actual Roman baths within walking distance, then going to this spa with all the emenities that would have been available to the elite back in the day,is somewhat of a transformative experience. Geez, you dont even have to walk to the roof, there are elevators. The water does not smell like sulpher or chlorine, more like a natural fresh warm water pool, temp is very much like a comfotable bath, but the trace minerals are still in the water. Bubbles and jets are interspersed for jacuzzi lovers. Racks for your bath robe and towel are provided at every stop along the way, saunas, steam rooms and large hot and cold sprinkler heads that activate by sensors as you walk through a shower room with Roman style pillars In between. Everything is strickly controlled so the party element is not there, but the joy of all these sensations will make your body thank you. Much more there too, locker rooms super easy to use electonic locks, plenty of staff to help, even blow dryers and swimsuit driers, price is well worth it and once your in, you just get to enjoy. Best of all phones go into wireless individual lock bags, so no annoying blabbers and photos. Everything has been so well thought out, it will be very difficult not feel that sense of fun. Highly recommend!!

Booked for a couples treatment and spa few hours, with a afternoon tea. I read the afternoon as that, tea scones and sandwiches. It isn't. It's a scone and a cuppa or a glass of prosecco. The spa is very nice but very very busy on a Sunday at noon. Like busy! Changing rooms are very narrow. You can't get stuff out your locker and stand. You need to move to a changing room. Roof top swimming is fab. Expect a lot of people in a Sunday. The treatment we had was a couples massage. All good.

Attended Sunday 16th november 10-12 slot. We were pleasantly surprised how near to out hotel it was. We arrived promptly and greeted by a very friendly receptionist. He talked us through the spa and then handed us security pouches for our phones. ( I think this is a great idea. ) We headed straight to the top floor. The scenery literally took my breath away. The water so warm and the entire place looked clean. If you stop for a drink they give you extra 30 mins. This was a pleasant surprise.. We made most of our visit. Nice free towel to use which I exchanged for fresh dry ones twice. Only negatives where the lockers were over complicated. Could of smelt more like a spa. Can't add pics as wasn't allowed to take any..

Popped in for lunch and a cocktail on Saturday. Food overall was good - simple and well done. There seems to be a discrepancy between items available on the menu and app. Food took around 40 minutes to arrive after ordering, which is a little long but still within the realms of acceptability. However, what an okay food and drink experience could not make up for was the general inattentiveness of the staff. I totally understand that this is a venue with a relaxed atmosphere , but this isn’t excuse for sloppy service and a lack of attention to detail. For one, our food was delivered to the table without cutlery or napkins, maybe a bit of oversight, but it was finger food so, whatever. I was able to get hold of napkins myself, but the cutlery container was empty, I informed the staff. Around 10 minutes later, my pizza arrived; not sliced. The cutlery container remained empty and I asked staff if they could get us some cutlery, which they agreed. Over the next 15 minutes I made multiple trips to the cutlery container only to find it empty every time. Until I had to ask another member of staff, telling them that I had a pizza that I couldn’t eat because it isn’t sliced, rapidly getting cold because I could not get hold of cutlery. Only then did that member of staff produce a set of cutlery, clearly just hurriedly rinsed off in the sink or plucked off the drying rack. Despite the food being generally on the positive side, when taking into account the long wait, poor staff attitude of some staff and generally sloppy work ethic means that the sum of the experience is pretty negative. I have been to Belushi’s on occasion before, but today has been a fairly unenjoyable and frustrating experience, and I probably will think twice before coming here again when I want to have a relaxed time for cocktails and nibbles.

Live music venue
Nestled in the heart of George Street, Moles Club is a vibrant underground music venue that pulses with energy six nights a week. This intimate cellar space attracts both locals and visitors alike, offering an eclectic mix of live performances from local talents to international artists. The atmosphere is electric, making it the perfect spot for those looking to immerse themselves in Bath's lively music scene. Moles stands out not just for its fantastic lineup but also for its diverse weekly events that cater to various musical tastes.
Truly a VIBE! Went to the Wannabe sit-in session which was actually my first night 'out out' in over a year. Staff were lovely and really friendly, gave us a choice of seats and explained how to order drinks and what the WiFi password was. Drinks are very reasonably priced. I think I will actually miss seated socially distanced nights like this! Will you do an event like this again even now restrictions have lifted? I have a friend with a disability who said she'd have loved this as she can't usually go on nights out for very long. 10/10 experience, super fun, loved the playlist. Anyone looking for a cocktail recommendation, try The Hulk (with energy drink as the mixer). Looking forward to going to Moles again sometime!

The staff are super lovely and take care of you. Couldn't have asked for more. They are the reason I enjoyed my night out. Plenty of seating upstairs to chill or have a moment of peace. The dance floor is reasonably spacious. You can't get lost or lose a friend. The photo booth is a fun touch. The outside area is fine. Good variety of drinks. The only negative is people spilling drinks on the floor and on people, which happened a lot . Rude behaviour to others and the property. Never experienced it this badly at other places. Please be more respectful to the staff.

Really good for the whole small gigs with live music vibe. All the bartenders are always super friendly. Not sure if it has wheelchair access though (the toilets and dance floor would then also be inaccessible since they're downstairs)

So , Really good karaoke , fair prices for drinks the Person who runs karaoke is very friendly. Now sometimes I get acid reflux , sometimes it’s a glass of wine or just the one others times it could be 6 pints in. This causes me to just have a terrible pain in my throat and just projectile vomit , very rare but unfortunately it happened my first time visiting here. In hindsight I could have explained my situation to the staff and helped them clean Up my mess. Due to fear of generic “bouncer” door staff and getting dragged out I didn’t. Anyway an hour or so later the staff realised my pool of vomit , at the same time I was going toilet and about or offer my assistance in cleaning up , unfortunately he ran out of blue roll the same time. Anyway as I left the toilet the security man politely asked me to go to a quiet area.. I assume they checked the cameras at this point and realised the culprit. He was very respectful and I explained the situation with my reflux. He was understanding and explained due to medical or just being drunk they have a duty of care to remove me from the premises. He even allowed me to go back inside and round up my friends , and told them I’d be welcome back any time. Just don’t throw up without telling us I presume. Either way , given it was a Tuesday night , this is exactly how bars / clubs should aspire to Respectful and understanding. They didn’t check the cameras then drag me off the dance floor. I will try and get the security guys name but. Well done to all staff I will visit again

Nice cocktails, great to watch the magician. It’s quite an intimate gig and was impressed the magician can remember everyone’s names. Visited in 2019 and 2024, had a great time on both visits. Make sure you tip the magicians if you can.

Words cannot describe genuinely how amazing this place is. But I guess I'll try. The drinks are great. Staff are friendly and engaging. Paul, the owner and all-round great person, was honestly welcoming. The magicians were brilliant. Even the many parties of people surrounding us were fun, lively and friendly. If you're in Bath and want to break the norm, swing by. It's a 'magical' night (see what I did there) and will be remembered for a long time. Unless you get properly bladdered and don't remember leaving. To which point I say, just go back the next night like I did!

We had a fantastic time at Sleight witnessing some truly astonishing close up magic tricks. The atmosphere was brilliant, the drinks were flowing and the other guests in attendance seemed to have a brilliant time also. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bath. We found the Saturday night a little busier than the Friday.

We had the best time here! Lovely and unusual cocktails! The magician was AMAZING!! Involved everyone round the table, was funny and thoroughly enjoyed it. Madness to think that they work based on tips whilst everyone we saw did tip we thought more was definitely deserved! We would have stayed longer if it was busier however after the magician have finished his act we then felt we needed to finish our drinks and go probably down to the bar being quiet that evening. We would 100% recommend and would definitely return when back in Bath.

This Moroccan-themed nightclub is nestled in a vaulted cellar and offers an eclectic mix of rock, metal, punk, and indie music that will keep you dancing all night long. With its friendly atmosphere, it's the perfect spot for students seeking a lively night out or anyone wanting to enjoy themed events throughout the week.
One of the better nights out in the town, a friendly atmosphere with some good student nights for classic music and much better value for money on entry and drinks than Bridge opposite. Toilets are rather rubbish and the only let-down.

I love this place because of the memories I have there, but it's pretty gross in actuality. The venue is underground and the walls are stone. They tend to get moist by the end of the night with all the sweat of the patrons (gross). Drinks used to be fairly priced, but in recent visits, they seem to have sky-rocketed somewhat. Music is standard, but they hold weekly rock nights, as well as retro and cheese nights. There is a karaoke room in the back and quieter areas with seating for those who prefer to sit and chill than dance all the time. Not the prettiest of clubs in Bath, but one that you can have a lot of fun at. Doesn't feel overly posh and make you think you're ugly (I'm looking at you, Second Bridge).

Very very disappointing. We paid for two booths which was not cheap so thought it would be ok but how wrong. The mould on the cloth on the wall was disgusting and the whole place was very smelly. The tumblers and glasses given to us to drink our bottles of fizz were very dirty, some had lipstick on. Within an our of opening they ran out of ice !!!! I must say that our Hen enjoyed the dancing that's why I have given 1 star but would not recommend anyone to go there.
Maureen B — Google review
You have to pay 4 pounds to get in and then the floor and walls and bathroom stalls are all sticky, wet, and gross. I slipped several times trying to dance and I wasn't even drunk. I leaned on the wall and my jeans and back got all wet and sticky. If you charge admission, try to keep the place decently clean. People just go to Opa or something because it's free and its clean. I will give them this though, the music was good. They have good taste in music. That is the only good thing.
Sydney G — Google review
Went there to celebrate leaving before uni, got kicked out after 10mins for passing someone “their” drink which turned out to be the bouncers, who aren’t allowed to drink whilst working, and wouldn’t get let back in to find my Id, which having been inside for a night is probably now gone. Whilst inside it was dirty and playing very unfavourable music for a night out.
Samuel M — Google review
Went here as a student...a lot! On my return at a recent reunion I realised that it is not the best place for a night out, drinks are pretty expensive although get there early for cheap entrance. It's dark, dingy and sweat drips from the ceilings. Perfectly adequate for a lads or girls night out but not somewhere you would take a date!
Lee W — Google review
floor very wet and slippery which caused me and my mate to fall a couple times. big safety risk but still phenomenal to watch my friend deck it down the toilet stairs. id pay admission just to see that alone. 4 out of 5 stars. would take a tumble here again.
Indix G — Google review
After coming here to celebrate finishing school, there was a man of around 65-70 at the bar who was inappropriately touching the young girls around me whilst staring at every girl that headed to the bar including myself. I’m sure I can vouch for all the girls In there as to how uncomfortable this makes girls feel and how unacceptable it is. We were told by a member of staff who was suggesting we stay away from him, that he is in there most nights sexualising girls and touching them but that they were unable to remove him from the premises as they had no reason to do so. Not only was the man harassing the girls who were entering the club but was also being inappropriate towards the female staff who would’ve been made to feel uncomfortable in their job- which in my opinion is totally unacceptable. Making this even more vile, we were informed that this man actually works in a school putting even younger girls at risk. After multiple witnesses of this mans behaviour security failed to remove him which allowed him to carry on acting in this disgusting way throughout the night. When you’re in here please be aware of this man and stick with your friends.

The Pump Room Restaurant is a sophisticated venue in Bath, offering classical music accompaniment to coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea with a view of the Roman Baths hot spring. Originally constructed to provide public access to thermal waters in the late 17th century for medicinal purposes, it still houses the Kings Spring water fountain where visitors can purchase a glass of warm spa water. The elegant interior features grand columns, beautiful chandeliers, and stylish Georgian decor that reflects the high society of its time.
Absolutely lovely experience, we went for afternoon tea and it was my wife's birthday, the live pianist played happy birthday and they bought her out a little cake 😍 The setting is glorious and the service is attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend.

We came here for brunch/breakfast. I had the poached egg with salmon which was lovely. We also had two cocktails. The atmosphere is nearly like from a fairytale especially with the pianist playing. Definitely recommend to anybody.
Martina S — Google review
Went for the tea menu at 12 noon. The atmosphere was great! The high ceilings and classical music really add to the ambience. Huge applause to the pianist who played for an hour! The music was so so good! The tables are spaced out very well too, so it made the experience very private. We felt that the green pea savoury bites were super good, wished there were more! Scones were pretty standard. And the raspberry shortbread dessert bite was super good! Jane Austen tea was really good! Tasted like earl grey with earthy notes and a tinge of rooibos flavour at the end. You can get a glimpse of the Roman Baths from the pump room too!

My daughter and I had the most wonderful experience having tea at the Pump Room! Some reviews I read had been somewhat concerning regarding the quality and freshness of the food, but we found everything exceptional and delicious. Thank you for an amazing afternoon treat, in every regard!

The afternoon tea experience was enjoyable. I did find the setting a bit crowded, and the other guests tended to the T-shirt wearing type. Nonetheless, the service was good and the food was excellent. The Pump Room is beautiful and imbued with history.

I booked a Jane Austen Afternoon Tea for a party of 4 midweek and we loved every minute of the experience! From the entrance all the way to our table the service and staff were outstanding. The live music was a great touch. The menu looked good, but I have to admit, the food and drinks were not AS delicious as some of the other tea times that we’ve had. The Darcy cocktail sounded so promising but was a bit too bitter and flat. What you are paying for is definitely the ambiance and location. You feel like you’re sitting in a room full of so much rich history that I would’ve paid 2x more for this feeling. You’re also able to taste the spring water from the King’s fountain in this tea room. We loved it very much and would certainly book again.

The Jane Austen Centre, located on historic Gay Street in Bath, is a small museum dedicated to the life and times of the renowned writer. Visitors can explore the well-preserved former townhome with a period-costumed guide and view various displays and materials related to Austen's time in Bath. The city itself was a popular destination for the upper classes during Austen's era due to its famous baths, rural setting, and vibrant social scene.
✨ A must-visit for any Jane Austen fan! ✨ I absolutely loved my visit to the Jane Austen Centre - from the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by wonderful costumed actors who bring the Regency era to life. The introduction talk was so engaging, and seeing the Jane Austen waxwork made it feel like she was right there with us! I adored dressing up in Regency costumes and trying my hand at writing with an authentic quill and ink - such a charming touch. And the perfect finish? Relaxing upstairs in the beautiful Tea Room with delicious treats. A magical experience I’d highly recommend! 💕📜🎩☕️

Definitely a Austen lover's place to visit. Informative and fun... delightful character players who were wonderful! Delightful vintage tearoom ... High teas were amazing! Highlight getting to dress up for photos! Highly recommend

If you're looking for a serious, highly detailed museum experience, this might not be it, but it's not a bad thing. The Jane Austen Centre is an entertaining and whimsical tribute to Jane Austen's life and work, not to be taken too seriously. The entire experience is made special by the staff, who are incredibly invested in their roles. Each of them adopts a name from Austen's novels. Their presentation on Austen is entertaining and full of energy. They make it clear that the goal is fun, not a dry lecture, and they are happy to answer any questions you have about Austen's life, showing a genuine passion for the subject. The interactive elements, like getting to dress up in period costumes and try your hand at writing with a quill, add to the charm. It's a lighthearted and engaging way to step back in time. The small gift shop is also worth a look for unique souvenirs.

We started our trip there - what a way to start. My kids surprised me with a trip for my birthday. The host and staff were amazing - they made the experience real. They dressed the part and their subtle ways of talking was refreshing without being cheesy. Thank you for a lovely day.

We came for the ‘Mr Darcy’s Afternoon Tea’. Glad we called and made a reservation beforehand. The sandwiches, scones, and tea were delicious! The cakes were pretty dry. Nice, quick service and a fun environment. All the staff in the house were kind and happy to chat.

I had so much fun in this little adorable museum. I didn't do any further research about this place before I visited (I only know there is a Jane Austen museum in Bath). That's why I was shocked and impressed when I first saw all their staff dressed beautifully in those special costumes, which made them unreal to me. They are all very welcoming, friendly and charming! There was a lot to experience in the museum, the Austen family history, stuff from or regarding her literature & movies, a short video about Jane which made me emotional, because I noticed that a lot of the background music was from the movie "Becoming Jane" starred by Anne Hathaway and James Mcavoy (one of my favorite movie back in school time). Please stop here and spend sometime for the video clip - it's so lovely. They also offer costumes so you can dress up and take photos (i love that). Do talk to those lovely staff if possible, they shared a lot of stories behind those photos!!

I love the whole Jane Austen experience. From the moment you enter, all your favorite book characters come to live, and greet you. The tour was so much fun, ending the museum experience with a try it on regency outfits! The museum experience was so interactive. After touring the museum, I had tea in the regency tea room. It was fantastic. The staff was really polite and helpful. The tea room is adorable! This whole experience made my day ❤️ Thank you for making my Jane Austen dreams come true!

If you find yourself wandering through the charming streets of Bath, make sure to stop by The Raven, a delightful family-run pub that beautifully captures the essence of British hospitality. Recently renovated in 2023, this inviting establishment spans multiple floors and features various bars, including a cozy library on the top floor for those seeking a quieter atmosphere. Known for its mouthwatering pies and an ever-changing selection of local ales, The Raven is not just about food and drink; it’s about community.
Great little pub in Bath. Had the opportunity to visit it on a recent trip at a recommendation of a friend. Place gets extremely crowded so I guess it’s a good sign. The drinks are affordable but I came for the pies and mash which I told was the star. Presentation was great. Pie was tasty and so filling. The place is lively staff is friendly and it looks like it’s a great place to hang out with friends.
Susan A — Google review
One of the most charming pubs in Bath. Their signature pies are top notch every single time, but so are their sausages and all the other wonderful things they pile onto your plate! Their gravy flavours compliment the pies ans sausages so well. They also sale local ales and ciders. Staff are friendly and talkative. Unfortunately you can't book but this place is so worth the visit because the food and atmosphere are fantastic!

A nice and charming pub with a surprising amount of seating tucked away here and there. Good pub grub on the menu. We visited several times over two days in Bath, and the crowds varied, though it got busiest in the evenings. At times it was tricky to get a table. I’d recommend the booths on the ground floor – some of the tables upstairs have annoyingly low tables (or ridiculously high chairs). Their Pimm’s and their pies come highly recommended!

The Raven in Bath looks like a classic British pub that delivers top class food and drinks. I tried their venison pie and having venison for the first time too, wow it was comforting and very well made. The atmosphere was lively and cozy with wood-panelled floors and tight corners. The staff were very friendly and it was quite crowded when I got in. About the beer and ales, insane selection! Their house brews are strong with, I guess, a rotating menu. The price is expensive but you get what you pay for! The Raven is easily one of the top picks in Bath.

Good quality beer and food, friendly service and the classic English pub athmosphere. A great variety of beers to chose from, worth ordering a flight to pick your favorite before going deep into it! :) A number of traditional dishes to satisfy your appetite, all quite tasty. Great location in Bath just a walk from many of the rest attractions.

Fabulous beers always! So well kept. Great variety and we recommend trying halves of a few different types as they are all so good and go really well with the very good food. The Roast beef was particularly tasty, as was the pork.. the pies are really nice too.

Green Park Brasserie is a beloved dining spot in Bath, housed in the historic Green Park Station. The restaurant is located in a former 1870s railway station booking hall, featuring a spacious red interior and high ceilings that reflect its rich heritage. With over 30 years of history, it has become a thriving venue for casual dining and live jazz. The brasserie takes pride in its British menu and is particularly renowned for its Sunday roast dinners made with locally-sourced ingredients.
We were a party of 9 and sat upstairs behind the red curtain! Everything about the venue was excellent, really spacious with a great vibe. The bar looks stunning. The service was exceptional with every member of the team we encountered, friendly and efficient. My pizza, the Tiger Margherita with roasted mushrooms, was one of the best I've ever had and the Sexy Fries just wow. Definitely go there if you're in Bath!

This place is incredible. Me and my partner visited Friday afternoon for a cocktail and end up staying for a quiet a few hours. The place and staff were so incredibly, we decided to visit again the night of our anniversary. The staff could not do enough and arranged for drinks as we arrived, anniversary sign and personalised food. Mimi and Olivia were both incredibly and could not do enough. Thank you for making our night so special and we’ll be back again very soon. P.s Food and drinks were on 10 out of 10

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We had an absolutely excellent experience at Green Park Brasserie in Bath! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. A special mention goes to Alex, whose hospitality was truly outstanding -friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, offering fantastic suggestions for both food and drinks, including a superb champagne takeaway experience with glasses and clough -such a thoughtful touch! The food was incredible, and it’s clear the team values quality and excellence -the pizza master’s creations are nothing short of perfection. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the service, felt carefully curated to ensure an unforgettable visit. Matilda & Brad is another beautiful addition to this wonderful team & exceptional venue! We left feeling thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Green Park Brasserie for anyone visiting Bath!

Dont go there! We showed up as two families with young kids tired and hungry. The manager rudely refused us with plenty of space available in the outdoor seating, twice and rudely. When we asked for an explanation we were told there was no table for 8 while we could have easily accomodated on the outdoor benches. When asked for the manager again rudely said she is the manager and dismissed us in a bad manner. I do not expect to be treated like that by nobody even leas so by an arrogant young girl that doesn't know how to handle customers. Shocking behaviour by someone working in restaurants! Shocking! She should change job! Do not go there.

Lovely friendly atmosphere here. Really like how the place is laid out. We had a romantic little nook in the corner overlooking the restaurant. Its a great building and I love the use of the different spaces, it feels fresh and fun. We had an amazing server, dead friendly Scottish woman. She's really good at her job, makes you feel so at home and seems to be able to anticipate your every need/read your mind! But doesn't linger, can't really fault her to be honest and she made the night memorable and successful. We heard the live jazz which was nice although it did make everyone talk louder so it was a bit of a struggle on that front to talk! The food also doesn't come out all together which I'm not sure why. But, the food I had was delicious. I was surprised I could enjoy a pizza I've had many times before in a new and totally delicious way. Crispy thing crust, amazing complimentary flavours and I almost finished it all! We also ordered the baked feta with Rosemary and honey which was super moreish but very rich! My partner had a halloumi burger but unfortunately he wasn't very impressed with that. Super glad they had herbal teas as even though they aren't very "sexy" on the menu, it was the perfect way to end the evening. I did however find the website extremely confusing as to what and where was on offer. We weren't even sure which bit we'd booked and just hoped it was the live music bit, luckily it was.

We pre booked a party of 10 to celebrate my daughter’s recent 21st Birthday. Good atmosphere, music in background quiet enough to hear each other talk. Very bubbly friendly servers. Was told up front that pizza orders may take up to 45 mins due to a backlog so bear in mind when ordering starters etc. However, all orders arrived earlier & fortunately all at the same time.

Located on the outskirts of Bath, England, Prior Park Landscape Garden is a picturesque National Trust site created in the 18th century by Ralph Allen. The garden offers stunning views of the city and features a Palladian bridge, three large lakes, and diverse plant specimens. It's a popular spot for romantic outings and even weddings. Accessible via the city's bus network or through the Skyline route, it's an ideal destination to explore while visiting Bath.
Loved this place. Another rational trust site so annual membership recommended. Dogs welcome. The views over Bath are spectacular at the high points. It can be quite steep going and the high view points need good footwear as terrain is uneven. If you have walking difficulties, a wheelchair etc you may find this difficult. Having said that, there are some reasonable paths but you will miss out on some of the high points. Parking is non existent so you need to either find a side street (not easy), catch a bus or walk there. Cafe wasn't open when we went but there is a really nice garden centre just down the main road. Palladium in the lake is fantastic and worth walking down to. Expect to spend at least 1 to 1.5 hours strolling around.
Nick K — Google review
More of a scenic walk than anything. No parking on site or anything very close so bear that in mind. It’s a walk down a hill then up the other side at a gradient of 25% so wear something sensible. Nice little cafe hut at the bottom serving tea/coffee/drinks/cakes with a few tables. Good way to work out taking in the views of Bath.
Donnismonk — Google review
A beautiful spot to tour and relax in Bath. The entrance is an easy bus ride or an uphill walk. Staff and volunteers are friendly and informative. I went at opening time and had the place mostly to myself for a bit and it never became crowded. The walk around the park is nice and worth doing, but not a must-do. My favorite part was sitting in on the reclining chairs reading and enjoying the view and the birds.
Scott — Google review
We walked up the hill to get to the entrance, and it is quite a slog to get up there. However, you can also catch a bus that drops you by the entrance. Staff were friendly and it was quick to buy tickets which were £11 a person. It is a fantastic landscaped garden with stunning views down to the Palladium Bridge and Bath. Well maintained paths and gardens. The paths can be steep in places 25% incline and also a little rough under foot in places. Easy to navigate around, and although there were a few people around, it was calm and relaxed and had a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. Fortunately, having entered at the top of the hill, you come out at the bottom, which was nice. The only disappointment was that by the time we got to the exit, the cafe was closed, so get to the end before 4 pm if you want the cafe 😉 There are clean toilets available at the entrance and exit of the Park
Stuart J — Google review
A must visit for those with a passion for scenic landscapes, steep breathtaking walks and rich historical sites. I enjoyed every second whilst spending the afternoon at Prior Park. The site was well restored a couple of decades ago and has been incredibly well maintained ever since. Palladian Bridge is like something out of an old time movie and makes for an incredible photo opportunity. There is a nice cafe at the end of the park which is well stocked and has outdoor seating to enjoy a little treat after your walks.

Beautiful place went to see the caves, you have to go off track to get to them. And climb up rocks but it was worth it. Toilets in the car park 20p to use them A coffee van for hot and cold drinks Some of it is pushchair friendly depending on how far you want to walk. Apart from if you go off track,( to the caves, turn left after the stepping stones and walk along the river) there is some hills and steps
Carly H — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stunning Views and Timeless Beauty. We absolutely loved our visit to Prior Park Landscape Garden! The entrance fee (£12.90) was well worth it for the incredible views, peaceful atmosphere, and beautifully preserved history. The highlight was definitely the Palladian Bridge — picture-perfect from every angle and one of only a few like it in the world. It felt like walking through a period film set, and we can see why it’s a favourite location for photo shoots and filming. The entire garden is a blend of romantic landscapes, gentle walking paths, and sweeping vistas over Bath.
Abdul K — Google review
This park was like stepping into a period film. If you’re arriving by bus make sure to get off at the station right by the entrance at the top of the hill, otherwise it’s a steep walk up. Palladian bridge was just as picturesque as you’d think. We were a bit surprised by the 11 pound price tag for a park but do think it was worth it.

Krowd Keepers Magic Theatre in Bath is an intimate venue where the incredible magician Billy Kid performs. The show is highly engaging, funny, and features impressive sleight of hand that captivates audiences of all ages. With lots of audience participation, the performance creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Guests are treated to a roller-coaster of emotions as they experience amazing magic, comedy, and laughter in this little gem of a place for great entertainment value.
We had the pleasure of attending a magic show in Bath with the amazing Billie Kidd and Laura London and the show was amazing, it did not disappoint! It was a somewhat spontaneous decision that we had heard about in a local shop, and we were fortunate to secure tickets for an evening show last weekend. The show itself was hilarious, with plenty of audience participation, and a variety of tricks and illusions that kept us entertained for the 2+ hours we were there. Even if you don't like magic (which we do anyway), you will be pleasantly surprised and entertained throughout. I would highly recommend this show to anyone that wants an evening of entertainment and magic. Thank you so much for an amazing time and I hope to see either of you again one day as you were both excellent!

I made the trip to Bath specifically for this night. And it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The show was incredible. Billy is an amazing magician, entertainer, and person. There was not a single person who hadn't laughed, applauded, joked along or been amazed at the show. There is plenty of crowd participation and humour throughout which makes the entire night memorable. To top it all off, the venue (The Ale House) has a downstairs late-night bar called Sleight. A bar featuring close-up magicians that is entirely free (Though bring money and give it all to them! They definitely all deserve it!) In short, the show was so good I'm actually about to book tickets again for tonight's show. Incredible. Thank you Billy! And thank you to Paul and Sebastian at Sleight.

An Unforgettable Night of Magic and Mayhem! We had the absolute pleasure of spending an evening at Krowd Keepers Magic Theatre, and it was nothing short of magical. Tucked away above The Ale House pub, the venue is intimate and atmospheric—perfect for the kind of up-close wizardry that leaves you questioning reality. We were lucky enough to catch the brilliant, bonkers, and utterly captivating Steve Valentine, whose performance was a masterclass in charm, sleight-of-hand, and theatrical flair. Equal parts hilarious and jaw-dropping, he had the entire room spellbound from start to finish. It felt like we were part of something special—more than just a show, it was an experience. The venue itself is a gem: small enough to feel personal, yet buzzing with energy. Every seat has a great view, and the close proximity to the performers adds a thrilling edge to every illusion. If you're in Bath and looking for something truly unique, Krowd Keepers is a must. Whether you're a lifelong magic fan or just curious, you'll leave grinning, amazed, and maybe even a little mystified. We certainly did!

Popped in for a bite after work to try and escape all the crazy traffic. Staff were great and not in your face. Food was really good - I do love tater tots! The pizzas were very good indeed. Nice thin and crispy base - and they were huge!! Lovely quick bite, pop in if you're in Bath.

Came here for evening meal and got to say the food was amazing, the pizza's are huge and the portions very generous. Not too expensive. The staff was friendly and there was background music played. Overall definitely worth a visit
Paul B — Google review
Cracking pizza so good we came back again the following night! Great selection of beers and ciders but the pizza was the star of the show. The team was wonderful both evenings. Great place to sit and watch the world go by in Bath city centre.

First time visited Bath and tried to find a place that serves food after 9pm... Here they serve food till 10pm!! Lovely place, good atmosphere and amazing pizza! Will definitely be back. Thank you! 💯🤗
Adriana V — Google review
Had a good time there. I'm vegan and there were good vegan options. The pizza was good. One less star as the tables outside were not cleaned. Glasses were collected but staff didn't wipe the tables and they were pretty sticky and wet.

Walked into a lovely restaurant and had a wonderful lunch. Inside and outside seating overlooking the plaza. Music vendors played right by the big tree. Pizza made with sourdough crust, it was perfect. Non gluten available as well, and a well stocked bar. You’ll definitely enjoy it here.
Hot T — Google review
Not being familiar with Bath, we stopped here for lunch. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. You seat yourself and can either order via your phone after scanning a QR code on the table or you can order at the bar. Children and dogs allowed.

We loved the welcome to flight club, cider tasting boards. Rapscallion was our preference cider. It's good to see a Sheppys included, the girls enjoyed the Raspberry. Top pizza as always. The new spicy 12' pizza was great and a nice new addition. Plenty of seating space and Nat our waitress confirmed back our order and helped with the allergies. Great job. Cheers Mick

Walcot House is a versatile venue located in a former bakery, offering a cafe, events space, and restaurant. The multi-floor establishment boasts a well-stocked bar with natural wines and expertly crafted cocktails. The interior is adorned with lush greenery, leather booths, and a stunning glass ceiling that fills the space with natural light. It exudes the ambiance of dining in a Parisian bistro within a rustic greenhouse.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening in the restaurant. The service was excellent from start to finish. The food and drinks were really delicious. The atmosphere was good although we were a bit early in the evening - I suspect it gets more of a buzz later on. It was quite expensive but good value for the evening we enjoyed.
Andy R — Google review
A really nice pub almost perfect Sunday roast except the long wait for the food around 40 mins. The interior design is relaxing and makes it a good place to chill. Sunday roast menu gives you good options for sharing and the food is very tasty. We swept the whole table clean after the long wait. I would go back for the food.
Sinan A — Google review
A lovely Sunday afternoon lunch for a birthday celebration. The service was lovely and we were left to it. The food was delightful - warm bread and butter to start with! We had three courses (it was a celebration!) and each was as tasty as the one before. For a Sunday afternoon the restaurant area was busy, but it wasn't too overbearing and was easy to speak to each other.
Lauren F — Google review
In a city full of lovely dining places, Walcott House is a great example - good food, friendly staff, great environment - and easier to find a table, as it is that little bit larger than most. We had a table for 4 on a busy Saturday night, but we felt looked after the whole time. Food was excellent, the rooms are fun - there are two distinct areas, with the back more open plan and the front more intimate. I would go again when I'm next in Bath.
Andy N — Google review
This place is air conditioned. After 11 days of our tour eating without air conditioning they saved the best for last. The vegetarian Celerian leek pie was the best “pie” I’ve had in 11 days. The “Think Drink” coctail was delicious. Try their side dish of Isle of Wright tomatoes also.
Julia S — Google review
Breakfast at Walcot House was lovely. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, food was served quickly and the produce is high quality. Pricing in line with other restaurants in Bath but a very enjoyable vibe. Would definitely recommend!
Hannah — Google review
I loved tbh e vibe of the pace, not just the design but also the people and the background music - it was friendly, comfortable, welcoming and you just wanted to stay Luckily the food and drinks followed suit, we had the roast and it was very good, generous with the vegetables and less so with the single slice of meat We were a family of four and as you can see it was on the not-so-cheap side and we’ll certainly be back
Ronnen B — Google review
I celebrated my birthday at Walcott House, and from the moment I first emailed to enquire right through to the evening itself, everything was absolutely seamless. The team were so attentive and helpful, making the whole experience feel effortless. The ambiance was beautiful, warm, elegant, and full of charm. Perfect for a special occasion. The food was exceptional, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were just delicious (definitely worth coming back for!). It was such an amazing evening, everything felt thoughtful, relaxed, and so worthwhile. I honestly couldn’t recommend Walcott House enough, especially if you’re looking for somewhere that feels a little bit special.

The Beckford Bottle Shop is a charming wine bar and bistro located at the top of a sloping, cobbled street near Baths Assembly Rooms. It offers an upmarket off-license experience along with an award-winning wine bar. The ambiance is reminiscent of trendy wine bars in Haut Marais, complete with pavement tables and chic interior spaces. The establishment boasts a diverse selection of over 250 intelligently-sourced wines available for purchase at retail prices plus corkage.
I very much enjoyed the small plates menu with my partner at the Beckford Bottle Shop along with a few glasses of wine each. Our server Travis was very knowledgeable and attentive. He provided us with some great recommendations and really added to our experience. Needless to say, there is a huge selection of wine. The food surpassed our expectations - we enjoyed wine but would go back again for the food too!

My partner and I sat outside in the sunshine yesterday and were served by Josh. He was really knowledgeable about the menu and helped us decide between a few different items we were stuck on. He truly enhanced an already wonderful experience! Thanks again Josh! The food was absolutely delicious, flavours perfectly balanced and dishes arrived to the table staggered to ensure we were not over faced. A definite highlight of our trip to Bath!
Poppy O — Google review
We enjoyed a fabulous light lunch accompanied by outstanding service. The menu offered an excellent variety of dishes, but we chose the anchovies on toast, English peas on focaccia, and Cornish hake with carrot purée. The rhubarb crème brûlée was a triumph– one of the best desserts we've had in quite some time. A true hidden gem!
Richard T — Google review
Lovely place with great food & beautiful wines! We had the charcuterie board with some delicious bread one evening (definitely recommend). But the highlight for sure was (on a different evening) the venison bavette; just perfection with courgette fritters! Must go when you visit Bath!
Marieke — Google review
Very nice meat and cheeseboard and a good selection of wines. The rest of the menu looked very appealing also but great if you just want a quick bite to eat.
James — Google review
Delicious food, friendly staff and cool environment. Restaurant is basically within a wine shop, which they have a large selections of good wine, that can pair with some very delicious food. Staffs were very friendly and professional (especially on wine suggestions). I think it was great that I will visit again in the future and recommend to friends and family.
S. N — Google review
We went on a personal recommendation and were weren't disappointed - good atmosphere and we like the sharing plates concept. I haven't given food or service a 5 for two reasons: 1: The charcuterie was a tad mean and the blue cheese overwhelmed the beetroot 2: I'm 72 (and look it) so you'll forgive me for finding the response "No problem at all" intensely irritating when I say "Thank you" to the staff. Of course it's no problem - I'm the customer....
Mike W — Google review
We sat outside to enjoy the sunny afternoon. The sharing plates were excellent. Found them inventive and fun. Service was nice but a little flighty, we always had to be on the lookout for our server. But this did not take away from the experience. Recommend for a quick and pleasant or lazy afternoon bite.

Bath Aqua Glass Glassblowing Studio is an independent glass production company located on Walcot Street, specializing in handmade fused glass jewelry, unique gifts, and glassware decorations. The studio offers public glass blowing demonstrations and courses, as well as activities for hen parties and a wedding glassware collection. Visitors can also try their hand at glass blowing by reserving a spot for an interactive session.
A lovely experience made even more special by the friendly, helpful staff. The glass artist kept a flow of witty banter and dad jokes while calmly guiding me through the whole process of making a bauble. Two regrets: one, not staying for some of the delicious looking cake they have on sale in their restaurant, and, two, not booking the half-day course. Time flew by way too quickly. Should I have the good fortune of visiting Bath again, I will definitely indulge in more time at the glassblowing studio.
Deirdre H — Google review
Gosh what a wonderful experience this is! Highly recommend. Slim was brilliant and funny and entertaining and we so enjoyed blowing our glass bauble. Everything is well explained and health and safety is paramount to them. The baubles were fabulous but the experience was just wonderful

We both had the most amazing time glass blowing with slim and lizzy on my 60th birthday in 27th September. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic and the end products were something we will cherish forever. There teaching knowledge and experience was incredible. Thank you both so much From Andy and Jenny
Andrew J — Google review
I was gifted a voucher for Christmas. Easy to book and plenty of time slots to suit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was really interesting to see the glass blowers at work. I have a beautiful bauble to hang at home. Plenty of gifts in their main shop and at the workshop to choose from if you wanted to pick up a gift for someone. There's a cafe onsite too. I'd highly recommend a visit to either participate in an experience watch to see how the products are made.
Rhiannon W — Google review
My boyfriend and I did the lover heart bauble. It was a fun and unusual experience and we left with a beautiful keepsake. The only thing I would say is that the staff don’t really know how to ‘put on a show’ if you see what I mean. They were all very lovely. It just needed something extra to make it more memorable and especially because of the price of some of the packages. Usually when you do these things you have a guide who chats a lot and maybe throws in a little joke here and there so I guess I’m just going of previous experience days but my opinion anyway. Still, a lovely time and recommended. Also, if you were wondering, the lovers heart bauble package consists of choosing a colour for the glass, blowing yours and your partners breath into the glass to fill it. (You have to stay behind the barriers and not go into the actual glass blowing area but you can still see everything). Then the experts mould it and shape it. You then leave it in the kiln for a day and either pay for delivery or go collect after the 24 hours. Enjoy!
Sophia S — Google review
Just had the half day glass blowing experience. It was absolutely amazing, would highly recommend it to everyone. Slim and Lizzy are not only very talented but super friendly and make you feel at ease and confident. Will definitely be dropping in again to watch you work.
Trudy W — Google review
We had a half day session with Ben and Liz and it was great fun. We learnt a lot and they were fantastic teachers. We made a paper weight each, a bauble each and a fruit bowl between us. Sadly our bowl cracked as it cooled but we had the demonstration pieces made by Ben which included a much more accomplished version of the bowl that we made!

This is a little treasure place in Bath. I've always been interested in glass blowing since watching Blown away series on Netflix. The staff were so nice. Allowed me to come in to have a look while some baubles were being blown. There's a cafe in there, so you could have a bite while watching as well. I had a great experience.

The Ustinov Studio is an intimate theatre located on Monmouth Street, named after the renowned actor Sir Peter Ustinov. Originally designed for youth theatre and small-scale touring productions, it has since expanded its programme to include classical concerts, stand-up comedy featuring well-known acts like Bill Bailey and Stewart Lee, as well as in-house productions. The studio underwent refurbishment in 2007 to enhance its technical facilities and overall visitor experience.
Very fortunate to get tickets for this amazing production of A View From The Bridge. Incredibly powerful performances by Dominic West and the whole cast. Left a deep impression. Thank you to everyone involved.

Entrance to place is hard to find. There should be signs, especially as on the right side there are multiple restaurants so its hard to find small signs. First I was on the wrong side of the road, then when I was finally on the right side, I had to past TWO doors before getting to the actual entrance (I went up to the staff one, thankfully that was during my piggy run).

My daughter and I saw Frankenstein on a Budget. It was a fantastic two person production. The age rating is 14+ but it really depends on the child. There were a few sexual innuendos, but my daughter missed those, a bit of swearing, but she hears that all the time, and the rest was just a wonderful and hilarious show. The theatre was small but comfortable. It was nice to see a play in such an intimate theatre.
Kelly C — Google review
Saw Good Bye Mr Haffman. From start to finish a fantastic experience very moving thought provoking and funny to boot. All the actors made this play come alive. Nice theatre sat in the stalls third row and had a good clear view of every thing. Sell out every seat taken great atmosphere.
Godfrey M — Google review
Delightful studio theatre. Fantastic stage and tech facilities. Audience close with great views from stalls. Very atmospheric.
Gav W — Google review
This is a very small venue. The word to use is intimate. The seats are fold down benches for 2 people. As a bigger person they are very snug. Sound is good and as it's so small the view of the stage is great.
Myfanw J — Google review
Excellent venue and the production was brilliant.
Dave P — Google review
Ustinov studios were an absolute delight. I caught a performance of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf' which was just terrifically dark and witty. A great cast, who very well portrayed incredibly rich and complicated characters. As for the venue itself, it is a charming and cosy little studio, highlighting the real rawness of stage theatre, with exceptionally priced drinks and intermission treats, but if you don't like rubbing shoulders with strangers, maybe find shows that are a bit quieter in numbers. As for the accessibility, there are toilets located on a number of floors, with accessibility being on the ground level, and a lift to get to the floor seating of the studio, however there is not one to the gallery. (which I poorly choose, as it was not very well signposted on the website). The staff were extremely kind, patient and helpful in this matter, taking the time to listen to feedback and concerns and genuinely asking how they could better improve the experiences of those visiting. All in all, a great experience and I will definitely be visiting again.
