Cocktails were perfectly tasty but the service was slow. It was extremely dark as well so was hard to actually see your drinks/the menu! They also put in HUGE ice cubes so the quantity of drink is ridiculous for the price! Wouldn’t recommend going as a bigger group as we were there for an hour and a half and only managed to get one drink served in that time! Was a ‘cool’, ‘alternative’ place to try out though!

How anyone could rate this place anything less than 5 stars is beyond me! To start, I did feel a bit lost outside the venue and ended up calling to check if they were open. Stu kindly answered and explained I just needed to ring the doorbell (I did feel a little silly 😅), but he instantly put me at ease and made me feel welcome. Once inside, I was seated at the bar and looked after by Will – an absolute legend. I mentioned I was a whisky drinker and shared what I liked. That’s when the real journey began. They introduced me to whiskies I’d never even heard of, and I was given an exclusive tour of their collection – absolutely mind-blowing. The customer care and knowledge the team have is second to none. I was later introduced to Tom, who was just as friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable as Stu and Will. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem – the staff are incredibly welcoming, and the range of cocktails and whiskies is unbelievable. I can’t recommend this place highly enough to anyone visiting Bristol who loves whisky, cocktails, and great company. Wishing Will the best of luck on his upcoming adventures to Italy and Canada – you’ll definitely be missed by the team. Thank you all for making my very first trip to Bristol such a memorable one 🙏🏻

Now my favourite cocktail spot in Bristol. Sid was brilliant and made a couple of off-the-menu cocktails for me. They were two distinct drinks, both of which tasted amazing! Much better than I anticipated. Please add nightcap to your menu (the name of the final one I had)! Its those who love smoky whiskey or rum flavours with a kick.

I had an amazing time at Bootlegger Bars in Bristol! The cocktails made by bar manager Lu were delicious and the vintage atmosphere was perfect for a romantic date night. Plus, it's an incredible late-night venue for partying and dancing with friends. I highly recommend it!

love this hidden speakeasy so much! they have really creative cocktails and their 5pm-7pm happy hour makes them very decently priced at £7. the staff there are great, we were sat by the bar and were served by a great chap from Barry (didn’t get his name sadly)! not really a place like it in Bristol so don’t miss it if you’re in clifton.

👀 Oi you scrolling for reviews just go! Brilliant place! We went as a couple and everyone made us feel so welcome and the cocktails were bloody delicious. There was a JENGA game to play too while we were waiting for our drinks and good music vibe, I do think however the decor could reflect the theme more and some more games is a win. I wish I knew the bartenders names that were awesome with great vibes on 26th Nov in the evening for a shoutout , anyway no matter I will be back for sure. 🫢

Love the Rummer, been floating around here since 1241. Biggest selection of spirits I've seen in Bristol, and amazing cocktails. The staff are so attentive and full of fun facts about the history of Bristol.

Wouldn’t usually write reviews but honestly, the kindness and professionalism of the staff meant I just had to. We visited as a large group and Kenzie was ever so kind, he went above and beyond to ensure we all had a pleasant visit. He even showed us the historical parts of the building and gave us some facts about the Rummer’s history. We were also kindly offered to taste some gins which was a very nice touch. This kind of service is very rare in this day and age. Cosy atmosphere and a warm setting too.

I recently used Stasher to book a place to store my luggage, and the service was excellent. The whole process was simple and straightforward. I signed up quickly using my Google Account, entered my details, and within less than 20 minutes I had secured a spot to leave my bags and enjoy my day. The booking system is very intuitive: you register, check the map, select a location, confirm your booking, pay, drop off your luggage, and you’re free to make the most of your time. Everything worked smoothly, and I found it a brilliant and well-designed service.

Great gins and really knowledgeable staff. Only popped in for a quick gin but staff were really keen to explain in depth about the gins and how they are created etc.

Lovely Bristol bar with great service. We went there for a little Christmas gathering and we got to sit next to the magnificent fireplace, which was lovely. The service was great, the bar tenders are really lovely and the drinks were nice as well. Definitely recommend for a great Christmas outing.

I really, really wanted to give this place five stars, but I just can't. We got a really friendly and welcoming greeting, the decor is just amazing, and combined with the music and drinks selection, it has a great speakeasy vibe that's like stepping back in time. When we visited during a quiet afternoon we thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails and chatting to the bartender. However, when we returned on a busy Friday night, it was a bit of a different experience. The two guys working werr clearly doing their best but really need another member of staff to serve customers. After finishing our drinks we were left waiting 45 minutes before we could order another one - and customers who had arrived looked to be waiting a similar amount of time to receive their drinks. This is just far too long and led to understandable frustration. It's a shame, as the staff are lovely and the cocktails are sublime - some really imaginative and special combinations that we thoroughly enjoyed! It's just let down a bit by the exceedingly slow service when busy. I think we'd go back, but perhaps not on a weekend night.

We were passing and it looked really interesting. Very cool 50-70's style lounge. Nice interesting menu of cocktails and with quite advanced mixing of cocktails. The cocktail I had was a lovely complex flavours and nice to feel some love of the drink made. It's a classy dark and relaxed style bar. (amazing pecan nuts). .

Best cocktail bar in Bristol? Certainly the most friendly and most creative. Has the best elements of a good meal: good service, an inventive menu and delicious flavours. You feel like you're dining out rather than just having a cocktail. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Incredible hidden gem in Bristol! We visited this cocktail bar for the first time a few weeks ago for my boyfriends birthday. On arrival we were greeted and our coats taken and hung up. We had a cute table in the corner, and it was full but not busy. We were served by the manager Rachel who was lovely and really knew her stuff. We didn’t know what to order at times so Rachel asked about flavours and alcohol we liked and then made suggestions, she got us the perfect drink every time. The cocktails were some of the best cocktails I have ever had (and I have had a lot)! The bar was owned by a husband and wife, who chatted with us and told us how they experiment and create the menus. There’s not one fault I can make about this place and I can’t wait to return. They even gave my boyfriend a birthday drink on the house which was a sweet touch. Price wise it is great value for money! 10/10!!!

Amazing interior and great decorations. We try a few cocktails and I can say that is maybe the best so far that I’ve ever had. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with the menu. The olives with sea salt 🤤 👌🏻 *if you order some special cocktail- you get a quick show with the special music. Bravo!

Went for a Eurovision Drag Brunch- so much fun! Asked what we wanted to pick from the menu and which pitcher of drink we wanted straight away, and everything came out so quickly and was delicious. The rest of the afternoon was stunning, loads of dancing and laughs. Served by Lauryn who was super sweet- loved their style as well. Definitely would go again 💛💛💛

We absolutely love it in here, every time we come to Bristol we always make sure to come in. The service, music and atmosphere is just 10/10. While having some early birthday celebrations last night an accident did happen which I did cut my foot, they were all so lovely and very helpful. In particular Imogen, was so so lovely in helping clean my foot and make sure I was okay, even checking in the day after! Just made me love it even more in there! Flight Club is such a great group outing - great cocktails and sharing plates as well. We ordered two HUGE pizzas and their new summer ‘in bloom’ cocktails are super juicy, refreshing and pretty 😍 I loved the Just Peachy and, surprisingly, as I don’t reallly like aperol, I enjoyed the Amalfi Nights. Booked an hour slot for my wife and I, we pre booked food, margarita pizza plus cheese and bacon loaded fries, both were tasty and well presented, good selection of drinks, the service was prompt. Neither of us are dart players but we both thoroughly enjoyed playing the different game modes.

A fantastic evening. I haven't played darts for years, but the gamification meant that it was varied and interesting, as well as allowing those with a lower skill level to have fun too. The staff were great, venue nice and novel and the selection of drinks was good.

Excellent selection of tapas with plenty of vegetarian options. It's a bit on the expensive side though, especially if you're hungry. We fully enjoyed our visit as the service was also good and welcoming. I would recommend this place to a friend!

I brought two friends to Pocos for dinner a few evenings ago, and we had an absolutely fantastic dining experience. We had high praise for all the dishes! Dishes were beautifully presented, with each one thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The service was warm and attentive throughout. The staff took the time to patiently explain each dish, which made the experience feel even more personal and enjoyable. A truly wonderful dinner!

Had a lovely dinner here last night as a table of four. Four is a great number as we got to order more dishes to try. We were advised 3-4 dishes per person and we ordered 10 hot dishes, the hummus and two breads but definitely over ordered for our group. Food was great. Stand out dishes for me were the ox tongue and the wild boar croquettes. Both were deliciously braised and rich with flavour. The sauces on both dishes complemented the star ingredients very well. Service was good, the food came to the table very quickly after ordering and kept coming. Waiting staff were nice and friendly too. I thought some of the dishes missed the mark slightly on taste but more personal preference. The collection of dishes sat on the saltier side for me.

I visited Poco Tapas Bar with friends while in Bristol and really enjoyed it. Lovely atmosphere, creative dishes, and perfect for sharing.

Wow this place blew us away. We came from London and wondered why we couldn’t find such good food there. Lovely seasonal British ingredients. The polenta + homemade pesto was delicious with a unique flavour. Very surprised by the presentation of the smoked pigeon salad - so refreshing. The homemade shrubs was brilliant. Why couldn’t more place do this!

It is very nice here. The service is excellent, kind and knowledgeable. The menu itself is a little confusing, It would've been good to know what of the sharing menu was cold plates as it was quite surprising to have very cold ox tongue! The food itself was very good. Especially the hake. I give it 4 stars for the service but don't think I'd return, considering other options in Bristol at this price point.

First Meal Absolutely excellent. Service by Nadia was impeccable. She timed her interactions well and was always polite. Food was brilliant. Loved the tuna starter followed by a beautifully cooked medium rare fillet steak before dessert (single scoop of strawberry ice cream). The rose on offer by the glass was excellent and paired well with my meal. Also bonus points for being dog friendly ❤️ Second Meal This place continues to exceed my expectations and Emma provided the excellent service this time. She was super kind, patient and friendly. She was brilliant. This time I went for the arancini balls followed by lamb main and the banana sorbet, along with several glasses of the Pinot rosé. My worry was that it would be too much but this chef and the portions are perfection. All the 'sides' with each meal is so complimentary I was stunned how good everything tasted. LOVE this place and upset it is not closer to 'home'. ❤️ PS If torn between steak and lamb I'd recommend the lamb 🥰

We had our wedding reception here in August. The venue is gorgeous, the garden terrace was perfect for a summer party and created such a good atmosphere with the guests. It was busy but plenty of space for everyone to mingle. The team have been so helpful throughout the process and really responsive. They helped throw a great party and everyone had a fantastic night. We booked our wedding ceremony, reception and evening party at the Square Club and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a quirky and classy venue which was perfect for our wedding with 50 guests. From first contact, the wedding coordinating team gave us every confidence and handled everything extremely professionally without once losing sight of how we wanted our day to be. Our guests all commented on how lovely the food and venue was. The food was of a quality you would expect when fine dining for two and they managed to serve 50 guests with the same brilliant quality. Our photographer found it a great venue and setting to capture our day. Hannah, Ellie and the whole team including all waiting staff were just brilliant, they listened to us and delivered the perfect day,

Absolutely a hidden gem in Bristol. We started with a divine baked Camembert, served with incredible savoury madeleines—so good we had to take one home for aspirational re-creation! Our main courses were flat iron steaks, prepared to a perfect medium-rare and accompanied by what must be some of the best potatoes I've ever had (triple-cooked in some fancy fat, perhaps?). For the pièce de résistance, we finished with the clotted cream parfait, which featured delicious gingerbread cubes and perfectly poached plums. Honestly, just yum. A truly memorable meal from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Their support throughout the entire process was fantastic; they went above and beyond to ensure our day was stress-free and exactly as we envisioned. We genuinely could not have asked for more. Went here for bottomless brunch with friends. We were served by Sophia and she was great. She made us feel so looked after and that nothing was too much trouble. I definitely recommend the pornstar martini! We will definitely be back.

Came here for Bingo with a large party of people. What was good: The host was funny when we could hear her as mic was so-so and bingo was fun The place was clean Even though we were in the corner, we weren't forgotten What was not so good: The smell. Why does the space smell like a toilet? Strangely, the toilets smelt fine. I think the dehumidifier needs switching on. The service was generally OK but when we only got 4/6 jugs, one of us asked the server where the other two were and he said "Well, I didn't think you'd want them!" Excuseeee me, of course we do! Overall, we enjoyed our time however. Hoping next time that the smell issue will be fixed.

Service was good but drinks were meh. However we were a walk in party, two of which require disabled access. When we asked the staff where the disabled bathrooms were located and informed them not having such facilities were illegal they laughed and said if it was illegal they would have one (this is defined in the equality act of 2010). If you require accessible access I would recommend avoiding this bar.

My beloved girlfriend and I visitted this bar after unpacking our stuff at a new flat. We celebrated over a drink or four and what a call this was (ill take the credit) Jeremy served us and was honestly a lovely and down to earth person. He held conversation with us as if we were old school friends reuniting. Conversations. However, were short and sweet as Jeremy made every drink with the speed of a cheetah and the precision of a neurosurgeon; the man moves around the bar like he has four arms! So pleased we decided to visit and will definitely be back soon. See you soon Jeremy and the team!

Stumbled into Brosen Bar and left with history in a glass. With the help of the absolute legend Keanu (clearly named after his mum’s Hollywood crush – respect), we invented what I am now calling the best cocktail in the world: the reverse Coca-Cola iced tea float. It’s ridiculous, it’s beautiful, and it’s dangerously drinkable. The vibes? Perfect. Excellent venue, loved the decor. The only let down was the service! We sat in this cool little room and felt as if we were forgotten all night - we kept having to flag down the servers. Shame because it was a cool place with nice cocktails.

A hidden gem! Part of the experience is finding the black door and buzzing in. The speakeasy bar has a nice atmosphere. Filling only the tables available, the chat, music and dim lighting makes for a perfect spot for friends to enjoy the cocktails. The menu, Midnight in Paris follows the tale of the private detective Kinsey Morgan from the 1920s. The staff were friendly and chatty. Love the secret door, knock and be patient. Sometimes very patient. But someone will pop open the door and in you go, to a dark candle lit world with period furniture, an old piano and gorgeous cocktails! Staff are super attentive. Recently went to KASK for a cheese and Pet Nat wine event and it was brilliant! A relaxed atmosphere and a brilliant, knowledgeable sommelier Sarah who talked us through the tasting wines. The interiors are really lovely and the event was a perfect small group activity. Really recommend!

We recently held our wedding celebrations at KASK, and could not have asked for a better day. The space, the team, the food, THE WINE! Charlie and team went above and beyond to make us feel special and listened to. There was no stress - great communication before the private hire, and check ins during the event. In advance of our celebration, we met to discuss specific wines and other drink options, and Charlie made sure to get these in for us. All of which were delicious. We had many guests who didn't know volumes about wine, but the team were able to offer thoughtful recommendations that made every one feel looked after, despite it being a busy day! The cheese/charcuterie platters were locally sourced and delicious. Finally, as a queer couple we have always (on our many visits) been made to feel comfortable, safe and welcome at Kask. This was one of the main reasons in selecting this venue also. Great vibes, perfect wine and the most welcoming team. 10/10 recommend <3

Such a lovely North Street spot. Cosy, full of ambience and staff who are both friendly and knowledgeable - just what a wine bar should be. I had a glass of 'bone dry' rosé which was excellent. We will be returning for more wine - and cheese next time.

I had a great time for my birthday a few weeks ago when I hired out KASK on a Saturday night. Charlie and the team were great hosts and made sure I had the best evening possible! Delicious wines, beautiful venue including a lovely courtyard out the back. I wasn’t the only one who appreciated KASK, as all 50 people that came gave glowing reviews the next day! I went for my birthday at the weekend and had a 'light touch' wine tasting. The member of staff who did the tasting was fun, friendly and informative. The tasting itself was fun as we had to try and match the wines to the descriptions. All the wines were SO delicious. The communication via email prior to my booking was also timely and helpful!

Wine bars often have a rustic, contemporary, or sophisticated feel but instead it felt neglected, in need of face lift. The outside needs a good clean, the decking is old and the stairs are falling apart and are a slip hazard. You could easily fix them with 2 hours work. They need sanding down and some non slip stair treads added. The plants all look half dead and the tables need some candles or lanterns added for atmosphere. You could go online and kit the garden out for less than £100. Staff should carry out the wine and drinks to the table not the customer. The plates look like they come from ikea. Both times I've been here staff have forgotten to bring the cheese and I've had to get up and ask again at the bar. Tables weren't cleared either, there were empty bottles and glasses on the tables. A dress code for the staff wouldn't go amiss and I wouldn't trust the hygiene levels considering the staff were handling cash and touching their faces to then go to the back to prepare the food. You need to take inspiration from your European counterparts where customer service is viewed as an art. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to seriously reassess how it's being managed.

We booked a private tasting event at KASK to entertain sponsors, speakers and delegates of a sustainability focussed conference in Bristol happening the next day. Charlie and the team were wonderful at making us feel welcome. They selected very interesting wines bringing to life the people, land and stories behind the drink. Did you know there was wine being made in Chew Valley by a Druid? Being on theme Charlie also explained to us how mass market wine ariculture is contributing to climate change and land degradation - another good argument to select your wine carefully from an independent merchant supporting your local economy. Say no to shit wine and shop local. Better for you, your community and the planet.

I had the most enchanting time in this cozy and warm venue. The vibe was right, the drink were cold, the staff was amazing. Big thanks to David, Dee or maybe Bee, Jaz, Ashley, and the other lovely person I spoke to very briefly. All very efficient and friendly. I asked for a bunch of off the menu cocktails and they were all made to match my high expectations.

We held our engagement party here a few weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect. Anya made everything really easy to organise and was super relaxed throughout the whole process. The space was just right for our group of around 50, with a great mix of indoor and outdoor areas. The venue itself looks amazing, so we didn’t need to do much in terms of decorating, and they were totally happy for us to bring in Laura Pizza for everyone. The cocktails were a big hit too, everyone commented on how lovely the whole evening was. Huge thanks to the team at The Wellhead, we’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous cocktail masterclass in a really lovely setting. Anya is incredibly knowledgeable and adapted the cocktails we made according to our preferences. We got stuck in behind the bar, made our cocktail then took them outside to sip and chat as we watched the world go by before heading back behind the bar to make another. Would highly recommend the masterclass, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I think it's great value for money. Already contemplating booking another one.....

A riverside cocktail bar in Bristol city centre. Interesting cocktail menu. I had the Night Shift (recommended for fans of espresso martinis). My friend had a Lady Penelope. There are both indoor and outdoor tables, but we sat outdoors as it was early evening and not too cold.

We truly could not have dreamt of a better venue than the Wellhead to host us for our Wedding celebration. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every single person was so friendly, genuine, and accommodating. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The drinks were absolutely delicious, beautifully made, and served with such care and attention. The atmosphere was relaxed but refined, and it made for the perfect setting to bring everyone together. We felt completely looked after throughout and are so grateful to the whole team for making the experience so easy and enjoyable. It honestly felt like they were just as invested in the day being special as we were. Thank you again to everyone at The Wellhead. You were outstanding and we will be singing your praises for a long time.

Bought two rounds of cocktails which were not the cheapest but it was the 10% service charge for one of the bar staff to walk a couple of yards to bring us our drinks which was disgusting

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for a night of pure wizardry and giggles in Bristol, this is THE place! Mark and Richard aren’t just magicians – they’re part-time comedians, full-time mind-blowers. Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how Mark made my jaw disappear for half the night (spoiler: it was from laughing too much). Mark was the perfect entertainer- warm, welcoming, and hilariously cheeky, making just the right amount of fun of everyone (don’t worry, it’s all in good spirits… unless he actually is a wizard, in which case, RIP my dignity). The show was super interactive, so no chance of dozing off – unless you were hypnotized, which I’m still not ruling out. The magic itself? Brilliant. Real “how-did-they-do-that?!” moments that left us all questioning reality and Googling “how to become a magician” on the way home. If you want a quirky, laugh-out-loud night out in Bristol that’s totally different from the usual pub crawl, go see these guys. Just don’t ask them to pull a rabbit out of a hat – they’re too busy pulling smiles out of thin air! 🪄✨

What an experience. I went on a "first date" here and what a great start! The card tricks in the bar was a great warm-up. I came out speechless.. how did he do the egg trick, as for the ring disappearing - WOW I felt the other guests were as enthralled as we were and given a lot of interaction, we were a good audience Would highly recommend and visit again.

Had a lovely dinner at pasture , we had someone with a meat allergy in our party and the chefs and staff were really nice about making the necessary adjustments and giving suggestions. The cocktails were very interesting , menu has some options for non meat eaters. The spinach gratin stood out , smoked padron peppers were a good choice as well. Thanks to the front house staff who were super kind about the allergy requirements and birthday requests.

I went here with my partner for his birthday and honestly, it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just spot on, stylish without being pretentious, buzzing but still intimate enough for a date night. Our host sam was great, you can tell he genuinely knows his stuff, especially when it comes to the steaks. We went for his recommendations: the padron peppers, short rib croquettes, the tomahawk steak, and for dessert, the cheesecake and chocolate delice. Every single dish was unreal. The steak especially was next level, cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. The service felt personal and relaxed, and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. They also catered to my partners food allergy and were attentive throughout. For the quality of food, the atmosphere, and the level of care, the price was completely reasonable. You can tell it’s somewhere that values both experience and craft. Thanks pasture!! X

Used to find steakhouses overrated and not worth the value for money until I came here. Hands down the best steak in Bristol! Always a memorable experience with excellent food, sides and sauces. Went for my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special experience, alongside phenomenal steak/sides. Steakhouses often disappoint me, but I always come away from here very satisfied! Other than steaks, I cannot recommend their spinach gratin and short rib croquettes enough😅

Absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, everything was perfect — the food was incredible, cooked to perfection and full of flavour, and the service was top-notch. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can really tell they care about giving every guest a great experience. We order the lamb rump, beef tartare and dry aged burger with tallow fries. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back — highly, highly recommended!

Calum was very friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions and highlighting that everything on the menu is sustainably produced and locally sourced, which made our dining experience feel extra special. Every dish we tried was delicious and perfectly balanced, showcasing a real sense of purpose and thoughtful cooking. Overall we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Such a treat! Loved the attentiveness. We had a wobbly table that was highlighted when we were shown the house cuts and it was rectified almost immediately despite it being busy. We were celebrating our anniversary and the thoughtful touch of the happy anniversary dessert plate was very touching

Oo my gosh!!! First time I've been to this venue for a Raggea soul train. I had the best day EVER!!! The dj, promoter, Venue, music, vibes just everything was just on point. I can't put into words how happy I felt and it was worth travelling from Swansea, worth every penny.

Visited here on a Saturday for bottomless brunch with a group of friends, it’s a good location with a chilled vibe and seating inside and out, the balcony provides a good view in the sun. The service was the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life and I’m not joking. Drinks were left empty and we placed multiple orders with different staff that never arrived. On our food order allergies weren’t checked and when it was discussed staff were confused and obviously weren’t sure on what was allowed or not. Tables needed a wipe down and the toilets were like a swamp of urine. Food was good and everyone enjoyed it. Would I go back no I wouldn’t and I wouldn’t recommend the bottomless brunch as it clearly wasn’t bottomless. One member of staff was good, who acknowledged our drinks hadn’t been replenished for over half an hour.

It was an interesting experience, good music good ambiance, the bartender fabulous but it was marred by a group of about 7 old white men, all looked early 50’s…..these men were discussing in ear shot how I managed to arrive in the country and how I could afford to even be there quite rudely…..the icing on the cake was one of white old men justifying his behaviour by saying that the BBC is racist…isn’t that their national media corporation?? …Anyways, I had two amazing cocktails, enjoyed the view, danced a little and left. I will go there again for the service was great (will share an update), hopefully the table next to mine would be better human beings.

Sat on the terrace which was lovely as it was a sunny day. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hot food wasn't quite hot enough for me but could have been because we were sat outside. Very tasty. A bit pricey but nice for a treat. Great music.

Nice place in the city of Bristol. Not the most known not the most impressive but value for money with great atmosphere and decor. Food was decent as well. The service and cleanliness was also good. There is ample of parking around the area, but should the weather be good I'd recommend you rent a Voi as there is parking exactly opposite the venue.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a roast after hearing a good recommendation from my friend who lives locally. The inside was colourful with a unique decor. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was that we ordered and it took a lengthy time for the food to arrive. However, the food was worth the wait as the generous portions were all delicious and cooked beautifully. The roast beef was one of the best I've ever had!

Great events, music is always groovy! First time having the Sunday roast today; a HEARTY portion. Expensive but delivers. Slow roasted Lamb was excellent. Gravy, full of oomph. Staff were lovely. My company thought the service was slow which was probably why the vegetables (red cabbage, two carrots and three peas) and potatoes weren’t singing songs of flavour. The potatoes lacked the fluffiness I’m after in the perfect ‘Tater. A cauliflower cheese is our litmus test for a good roast and so far, the best we’ve had in Bristol. Would go again

I came here with the family. Excellent food, great pints but what really stood out was the service. If only more stars were an option. A bubbly, energetic and handsome young man named Felix waited on our table. He had my mum cracking up laughing which I hadn’t seen her do since the divorce. Will definitely be back here again!

Came here as it listed as one of the 11 best roast dinners in Bristol according to the Best of Bristol list and I have to say everything except the beef was amazing. I like my roast beef a bit pink but this was pretty much rare which was hard to cut and chew. The cauliflower cheese was amazing and all the veg, needed more potatoes though ! Quirky decor like everything I've been in that area and very friendly staff. Marking down one star because of the beef and it is very pricey but definitely worth a try.

This place was amazing! Just the job when you are hungry. This is a very cool place to hang out but nobody seemed to mind that we were there too (we were the oldest people there). The food was excellent, the service was fast and efficient. I would definitely go here again next time I'm in the area.

Nice spot on Stokes Croft, really good selection of local beers and drinks combined with a good selection of food in the kitchen. It appears the menu is Vegan only, so that may sway you one way or another.

What a totally great find for a Sunday afternoon late lunch. Cool relaxing ambience in eclectic setting. Very friendly staff. What a lovely team. Veggie roast dinner had so many flavours and importantly not overcooked. In retrospect wish I'd have taken a photo as presentation and colour was utterly delightful. Delicious too. Great veggie find and would 100% return next time in Bristol.

July 24 - why have we left it so long!? Again, super friendly helpful staff. Everything we ordered was delicious. Menu changes regularly, and staff can advise. Our favourite, smashed potatoes were slightly different but loved this variation. Sharing board was great. Heritage tomatoes, great. 2 different burgers, both great. Highly recommend the mushroom one (NOT a portobello mushroom) Everything was great! June 23 - Great attentive staff. Quite busy even at 5pm. But food arrived quickly, and every dish (6) was absolutely delicious. At this point, I would normally tell you about the vegetarian choices, but everything is either vegetarian or vegan. Spoilt for choice. Definitely going back.

OMG … A Definite One 2 Visit We had a wander around town for the afternoon and then headed over to try out our latest Vegan / Plant based restaurant find. The food was absolutely superb - Some of the tastiest food we’ve had in a long time at vegan restaurants. Many are good quality, this was excellent!! 👌 It would be nice to see slightly more attention to detail and also some more vegan options for cakes or desserts but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Bristol institution in Stokes Croft with excellent veggie/vegan Sunday roasts. Highly recommend the seitan roast as my personal favourite, they have pretty good coffee as well. The ambience is very hipster and cosy, and service is very good. It's about 16£ for a roast which I think is a bit high for a meal, but definitely worth it.

I can definitely say we will be coming back! The food was great! Great flavours and cooked well, The waitress Lily was very polite and happy ,we were recommended the margaritas by her which were amazing! We went in and watched Hugo make a few cocktails for other customers ,he also was very polite and happy ! Overall was a great afternoon! Thank you again

Stayed in the Bristol Hotel so Rick's quickly became our favourite spot for drinks. Before and after dinner and tried the brunch menu too on my birthday. Bar is excellent (the Old Fashioned is amazing) and the food is amazing. Table service was quick and staff are all friendly and helpful, even got a glass of champagne with my birthday brunch! Best of both worlds, a more relaxed and classy experience but close enough to the waterfront to get the atmosphere

Me and my friends came for bottomless brunch before Forwards Festival and it was mega busy- they only had 3 people working bar and serving and by god they were just smashing it out the park! Natasha was so friendly and helped put my vape on charge behind the bar (what a goddess!). She brought out all our food and drink with a smile and positivity all round! :))

Very dissapointed. There was one or two tables on saturday night. The waitress came to take the order and bring the drinks. No water offered with cocktails, no checking in on us, we would have maybe had a second drink... At the end we had to go to the bar to pay where I found barman behind the bar and some other staff member with his feet on the stool next to the bar. And no, he did not remove his feet when we came to pay. After that we were also charged for service, which we paid just not to be awkward. Won’t be returning, sorry.

This bar is a hidden gem! The selfish part of me wishes to keep it that way so that when I go back I can enjoy the atmosphere and have the staffs full attention, but I honestly would love for people to experience the charm of this little bar and see the place thrive! The bar just feels luxurious, the furnishings soft and complimentary to the historic building. High ceilings, moody lighting and music from the dj adding to the weekend vibe without bursting your ear drums! The barman was charming, to call him just a barman is almost insulting, he is infact a genius. No pre mixed cocktails at this bar, each one was individually crafted with love and care and served with the same manner. If your favourite drink isn't on the menu, not a problem, talk to him and he will create it for you, ingredients permitted of course! The calling of 2 4 1 cocktails in other nearby bars maybe tempting but if you're looking for something a little bit more special, this little gem is for you. I am looking forward to going back and I thank you all for a wonderful evening.

Rubbish. Bar was half empty on a busy Saturday night, and now I know why. Asked for wine - can’t have any as all the wine is in the main bar and only one person on so can’t leave the gold bar. Had a cocktail instead, waited well over 20 minutes. One member of staff proceeds to walk through with the standard table spray and clear some glasses. Takes drinks that aren’t finished! Attention to detail poor, this isnt a cocktail bar it’s a room with a tiny mini bar in it. Everyone in there was complaining about poor selection of drinks, long wait for drinks and general lack of service. This happened the last time I came here, waited over 30 minutes and were the only 2 people in there but I decided to try again. Decor is nice, gives you something to look at while waiting….no table service either. Do not recommend loads of other bars nearby that are much better.

The place inside is stunning, couches with all possible colours, romantic music, and if you are lucky enough to have the place for your own, the staff there gives you the opportunity to change the lights in the way you want (for instance more romantic).

I recently visited Dirty Martini on Corn Street and was seriously impressed. The vibe is energetic yet classy, with stylish interiors and a great playlist in the background. We came for the bottomless brunch and were not disappointed—presentation was stunning (the food came out in a gorgeous birdcage stand!), and there was a fantastic selection of cocktails to choose from. The bartenders were on point—friendly, fast, and clearly knew their stuff. My martini was perfectly balanced, and I could tell the team takes real pride in their craft. Service was super smooth throughout our visit, and despite being busy, we never felt rushed.

Best time ever, we went on a Wednesday for bottomless brunch. It was a really nice atmosphere, not busy at all. Beautiful interior and decorations. Really good service from the fabulous molly, so attentive and friendly and also assuring we were topped up at all times. The cocktails were on point! We managed to have 14 each… Food was a lot nicer than I expected! We really enjoyed the tempura prawn and jerk burgers. Had a great time and would definitely recommend, really good value for money and fantastic service all round.

I’ve been to Dirty Martini Bristol a few times now, but this last visit was easily the best. The atmosphere is always stylish and fun, perfect for a night out or a special brunch, but what made it stand out was the service — especially from the bar team. My brother works there as a bartender, and it’s always amazing to see him in action. You can tell he and the rest of the team really know their craft. The drinks were perfectly made — I had a martini that was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. You can feel the attention to detail with every pour. Even if I weren’t biased, I’d still say the staff here are a big part of what makes the experience great. Friendly, professional, and quick, even when it’s packed.

I came here for a date night, knowing the cocktails and service is usually good. However, after visiting on Monday night - the servers were rude and dismissive, prioritising certain customers over us, despite being in the queue for significantly longer. As well as that, we ordered 2 of the same cocktails, they were different colours and different sizes. The woman before us received a perfectly filled and coloured martini with ours being very different to hers in all aspects. Myself and the friend that accompanied me work in cocktail bars ourselves and so we were very disappointed with the service we received. I look forward to your reply and/or explanation for this inconsistant service?

Molly was absolutely fantastic from start to finish during our bottomless brunch. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with such a warm and genuine smile, instantly making us feel welcome and looked after. Throughout the entire experience, Molly was incredibly attentive — making sure our glasses were never empty, checking in regularly to see if we needed anything else, and doing it all with such a friendly, positive attitude. She seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked, which made the whole afternoon feel seamless and relaxed. The way she managed to juggle everything so effortlessly while still making us feel like nothing was too much trouble was honestly so impressive. She kept the drinks flowing, our table clear, and made sure everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. Her energy, professionalism, and kindness really elevated the whole experience, turning a good afternoon into an amazing one. We couldn’t have asked for better service and we left feeling so well taken care of, thanks entirely to Molly’s brilliant attention and incredible hospitality.

Absolute gem! My girlfriend and I visited Bristol for the weekend, and we love cocktails but aren't the clubbing type. Came across this place and it was lovely! The bartender Megan was very friendly very kind and very fun. Absolutely loved the D20 shot idea, was really fun! Cocktails were really good, would recommend the tequila sunrise and the cinnamon strawberry whisky drink thing. We didn't play any games but there was loads of board games on offer and adorable swings. Big props to Megan, made us happy to come back two days in a row. 10/10 place!

Yeah pretty good, fairly quiet but nice to sit outside. Bit of a weird toilet at the bottom of the stairs cause the staff door to change the lines is through the toilet so don’t go if someone is downstairs! You’ll have an awkward experience.

Really cute place we stumbled upon after fleeing a terrible loud cocktail bar. Loved the atmosphere, games and drinks and Vince didn't hassle us even though we were still finishing drinks at closing, then gave us a great recommendation on where to go next.

I tried their chai latte, it was cold and way too sweet. I took a few sips, but couldn’t drink any more. The flavour was also lacking. One of the selling points are that their seats are swings. Unfortunately, I found these to be uncomfortable, too high, and too far away from the table. The staff were disinterested and impolite. Looking at the replies left on other reviews, I was a little nervous to be honest about my experience. I’ll end on a positive note by saying that the branding is lovely and the overall idea is unique.

The place to come if you want to drink an espresso while sitting on a swing (though those 2 tables tend to be the most popular). A bit too small to get the laptop out, but perfect place to meet friends and have a catch up. Good selection of boardgames too!

Excellent coffee, tea, and selection of board games. My favourite games are backgammon and coup but theres tons more :) Both Lilly and Fabian are amazing and so is their staff who always greet us a with a smile and some home baked cake. Recently they're open for drinks, craft beer and sophisticated cocktails - couldn't recommend Playground more. Local, honest, and high quality in the heart of Bristol.

A Bristol institution that lives up to the hype. This long established Jazz Pub on King Street, a stone's throw from the Bristol Old Vic is very much as it always has been. Great for live jazz on the weekend and a fabulous place for a drink on a sunny day! A very mixed clientèle and can be noisy inside, well with a live band that's only to be expected, and lots of basic pub benches outside.

There's always a fantastic atmosphere here that's why we keep returning when we're in Bristol. Some fantastic musicians around can be seen each night.

Great pub to go to to listen to great jazz/swing music. Always something on. Absolutely love a Saturday afternoon listening to JP & Capitol Swing - never fails to get the crowd going.

I visited The Grain Barge while exploring Bath and Bristol on a wider trip, and it turned out to be a great choice. The setting on the water makes it feel a bit different and adds to the charm straight away. The service was very good — quick, friendly, and efficient. I had a Chardonnay, a lager with lime cordial, and for food went with the lime-battered fish, chips, and mushy peas. The portion was ample, the quality was spot-on, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Pricing was fair for both food and drinks, and with the combination of quick service, good food, and a lovely view from the barge, the whole experience felt like solid value. Overall, The Grain Barge delivered exactly what I was hoping for — a relaxed meal in a unique setting. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Bristol, and I’d definitely return myself.

We hosted our engagement party on the Grain Barge and I can’t recommend their venue enough for private parties. The whole team are so accommodating, kind and laid back. Nothing is too much for them. The staff were a huge part of the success of the night, they were so friendly and made everyone feel so welcomed and at ease, they absolutely made mine and my fiancé’s night. Thank you so much. I booked the Hold Bar for my wife's birthday party and cannot recommend this venue enough. All staff were attentive and helpful, setting up was simple and the venue have their own PA and lights so our DJ could just plug in. The atmosphere and views across the harbour are amazing and the food we ordered was absolutely spot-on, both in taste and that the venue provided all the plates, cutlery and so on. Value for money is excellent, the location brilliant, the staff totally wonderful. Love this place!

Only had time for a quick couple of drinks before going for dinner and it happened to be happy hour so it was 2 cocktails for £14. Loved my dirty martinis, also enjoyed sitting outdoors and people watching, the venue is also beautiful inside. Service was fantastic with some of the friendliest staff Will definitely be revisiting

I’ve been here on an evening and a disco bottomless brunch. The vibe and atmosphere is insane! The drinks do not stop coming. The food was funny as a brunch. Beef curry in a takeaway box. But apart from the food everything else was great. The drag queens sang and we’re great entertainment as well as the bar staff! Brunch was £42 Per person for 2 hours. The evening is just as bonkers too. Bar staff are entertainment and are fab with lots of energy. Great music to dance to. 3 rooms for different music. Drinks are expensive. Cocktails start from £12.50. A small bottle of cider £6.50. To be expected I guess!

Excellent visit with us sampling a wide selection of cocktails which we are all great. The staff are are all very friendly and provide excellent service (particularly Grace). Given the wide range of alternatives, this venue is the best in my opinion for cocktails and a great atmosphere in Bristol!

Me and my girlfriend came while visiting Bristol and had a great experience. All the staff were very friendly and attentive (admittedly it was early in the evening and mostly empty). They had great cocktails with lot of choice, variety and attention to detail that makes them feel unique. With the happy hour/2-for-1, the prices were reasonable for the cocktails. Ceejay seated us and Abby served us, both were excellent and especially helpful.

Great, funky place for fancy, cool and stylish cocktails. Prices are good and service is amazing. The bar staff is fun and friendly and always have some good suggestions depending what type of alcohol is your favourite and they recommend the right cocktails for you and your friends. Love the crazy lamps swinging above your head, good music and crazy looking crocodile on the wall as decoration. Me and my friends away as enjoy time in this place. Would highly recommend a visit on a night out.

My husband and I had a splendid time at your bar. We didn't eat so unable to comment. Our cocktails were lovely, Vodka Martini, with a twist of lemon. Very generous offers in place the night we visited. We were surprised by the prices. The Bar Staff were so helpful,friendly and so polite. We are older people but felt so welcomed and respected. The Bar was comfortable and warm with atmospheric lighting, it really was cosy. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you for making our night so special.

Booked Alcotraz Bristol for my Partner’s 30th, and had an excellent experience from start to finish - they very kindly added a ticket to their website as there were six tickets left and we needed seven, they also placed a stool at the end of the cell so we could sit together on the day which was really lovely of them! The immersive experience was fantastic, I’m an avid theatre fan so I knew I was going to love it, but the whole group had such a laugh and were talking about it for the rest of the day! The cocktails were of a really high quality (well worth the money for those alone!!), and the actors were truly brilliant - they interacted with us just enough for us to feel involved, but still gave us space to hang out and enjoy the experience. The only improvement I’d suggest is for the story/performance segments to move around or be positioned at different areas of the room throughout the experience, so all cells can have a ‘front row’ view of the performance as it mostly took place near the ‘kitchen’ and we found it difficult to see through the bars from the opposite side of the room - our group also needed to sit on both sides of the cell as we had a group of seven to one cell, so it meant three people had to have their backs to the actors for the story scenes and could only listen to them, as it wasn’t comfortable or spacious enough for them to turn around to watch; this wouldn’t be an issue for couples or smaller groups though, and our group still loved the experience as a whole; I’d definitely go again and would recommend to others looking for something a little different!

We had an absolute hoot, was a last minute. We literally had so much fun. The actors were brilliant. Really good at what they did…. “Cassie” really stood out as an actor - should be on the stage. The drink set up is really good idea. Would defo be back.

Had an amazing time at Alcotraz Bristol! The whole prison-themed experience was super fun and creative—from sneaking in your own bottle to the actors playing the guards and warden. The staff stayed in character the whole time and made it feel like we were in a movie. The cocktails were top-notch, tailored to our taste, and served in a super theatrical way. Great for something different on a night out—definitely recommend it for groups, birthdays or even date nights. Will be back for sure!

More fun than I ever expected! Alcatraz Bar in Bristol totally blew me away. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most unique and hilarious nights out I’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped inside, the actors never broke character—me and my friend were laughing non-stop. It’s like a wild mash-up between an escape room and a top-tier cocktail bar. You “smuggle” in your own unopened liquor (which already feels like part of the game), and the bartenders—sorry, inmates—whip up amazing, custom cocktails based on what you bring. The whole thing is comedy gold, and the immersive experience just makes it even better. I’m now completely obsessed and already planning to go back with everyone I know. If you’re looking for something offbeat, interactive, and genuinely hilarious—this is it.

A hidden gem with a dark, mystical vibe that instantly transports you. You ring two bells to enter—already magical—and step into a beautifully gothic space. The cocktail menu is themed around magic, with an Alice in Wonderland special menu. Most cocktails had an incredible non-alcoholic option that made our sober friend feel totally included. The staff were fantastic—friendly, passionate, and totally in character—and we even got a tarot reading! Unique, welcoming, and unforgettable. A must-visit.

Best cocktail glass (vase) in Bristol. Good atmosphere, amazing menu and fun using taro cards to choose your drink! Update: love the new menu had some really tasty cocktails. Three Witches & The Jackal were my faves. Having a magician there for free entertainment was an awesome touch! All the staff were super attentive and really nice too.

I went here last Friday night and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was perfectly gothic, the drinks fun, quirky and delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. We had the joy of watching the amazing burlesque performance. Would thoroughly recommend and can't wait to come back.

Really unique venue, air of mystery , dark, exotic ,raunchy atmosphere. Table service and booking in advance for a seat is recommended. Drinks are quite pricey, some 2 for 1s deals would be preferable. There was a cocktail with peanut butter which I alerted the staff member about my severe allergy, but I had no issues with cross contamination. Burlesque performance was enjoyable and daring would love to see more of a variety of costumes and themed dances. :)

I was fortunate enough to have my 25th Birthday party at the Raven earlier this year and it was AMAZING! I just want to thank the amazing team who helped set up in the day and worked behind the bar for the evening, you were all so lovely and did ana amazing job. The drinks were fab and so was the space, would highly reccommend it as a venue!

My friends and I were looking forward to a night out and we were treated horribly by the bouncers. It seems their masculinity was deeply threatened by one of my friends who asked them to stop speaking so rudely to another friend. They have absolutely no respect for young women and their actions caused the club to lose 12 customers tonight.

We attended a bottomless brunch here, and it was one of the most depressing events I’ve ever been to. At £50 a head for the (dis)pleasure. The staff were brilliant, but hugely under equipped for the numbers they were presented with. The singer struggled to create any atmosphere at all with her song choices. I’ve never attended a bottomless brunch where, when we left an hour early, everyone was sat down. The complaints at the bar were innumerable, which made me feel very sorry for the staff who really were doing their best. The food was AWFUL. Chips came 20 mins before the main dish, the food was served wrapped in foil like it came from a van in a car park and was disgusting. I’ve attached a pic but to create a full picture, it was also freezing cold. Awful. Just awful. The only thing worse than the food were the toilets. They could rival the portaloos at Glastonbury. On day 4. With more rotten wood.

I’m sure the club is fine (never seems very busy at all) but the bouncers were so rude !! Me and a friend tried to get in and I accidentally hit a bouncer with my umbrella, for which I profusely apologised. The bouncer was so rude to me and my friend (who tried to defended me) and I am very disappointed with this treatment towards young women! Clearly the male bouncers felt threatened in some way but it is absolutely outrageous they couldn’t set their pride away to realise it was an honest mistake and treat the situation with an appropriate reaction. Will NEVER be coming back! Bristol needs more bouncers that care about young women who are vulnerable on a night out !!!

We had such a great time at Lola Lo’s Cocktail Masterclass! From the welcome drinks to the delicious cocktails and shots, everything was spot on. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was full of fun, and they even had alcohol-free options available. It was the perfect couple of hours—thank you for looking after us so well!

Staff are super friendly and are willing to help with anything you need. Drinks are a good price for someone like me who’s a student. Music is always really good. I never feel unsafe when I’m there either.

I hired the club for a private party, after visiting and falling in love with the place. The attention and care I received from the management in making sure all our requirements and needs were met was outstanding. On the night, the door staff were the most respectful, polite friendly staff anyone could ask for- they even went along with the theme of the party! The bar staff worked so incredibly hard, my guests all received excellent service. The DJ interpreted the room and played accordingly to ensure the dance floor stayed packed. The management team were exceptional. They stayed all night to ensure we had the best service and kept coming to check in with me to make sure everyone was happy. The whole experience was fantastic. My guests had the best night, it was an absolutely wonderful time all thanks to the combined hard work of all the staff. Would highly recommend for private hire. Absolutely superb.

A girls trip to Bristol from London! We paid £500 package which was more than enough! This included a VIP TABLE, with cute decor, party poppers 1 bottle of Belvedere Vodka 1 bottle of Pink Gin X4 cocktail sharers X4 bottles or Prosecco GREAT value for money! Atmosphere - was buzzing in the main room but VIP room we were the only group with a table Music - R&B music - DJ was epic! Played the best songs! After 1am it was turning to house, this point I think it’s safe to say we don’t remember much! Vibe - Group of 12 girls for a Hen do Service - the staff were super nice, they kept checking in on us if we needed a top up on mixers 2 minute walk is Triangle Grill if you’re feeling cheesy chips! Parking - no idea about parking but I’d recommend not to drink and drive! I would say the toilets are dirty and grim! That’s the only downside. But the music overall makes it worth it!

Not a fan of bedminster to start with. went in to this place as we walked past it after going to the Sunday market and was after some special cocktails. The way the stocks were placed in this shop made it look like a warehouse and made me feel castrophobic. Layout of the shop was not good. The tables and chairs reminded me of a primary school canteen/ farm shop/ garden centre. Very few choices of cocktails on the menu. The cocktails didn't taste good because of the recipes (not because of the bar tender). Will not go there again. Went to Clifton to The Ivy in the end and the atmosphere was so much better.

Gorgeous independent place with an amazing range of whisky and other spirits. Very friendly staff to demystify your choice of whisky. We stopped for a cocktail too. Katy the owner said she was planning to start events soon - we'll be back!

I was lucky enough to pop in on opening day and can safely say this a great addition to North Street. The staff and owner are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell. There is a large selection of bottles from the shelves, many of which I've not yet seen in Bristol. The drinks menu is well thought out with a spirits focused angle. Prices are comparable to other independent retailers in the area. I hope to be back soon!

I certainly left with high spirits. This is a quaint little bar with an enormous selection of spirits and wines, with a lot being from Bristol and the southwest which is lovely to see! Extremely laid back and the proprietor is friendly and welcoming. Please do visit if you happen to be in the area.

Spent a great Sunday afternoon in Spirited watching an excellent funk trio while sipping on a very boozy coffee. Subsequently bought a bottle of a very tasty Islay whisky from their amazing selection of spirits. Really nice vibe, happy and friendly staff and a stylish interior. Recommended 👍

Fantastic selection of drinks, almost guaranteed to find something to your tastes. The cheese board was delicious too. It's not a cheap bar, but you're getting premium drinks so it's to be expected. Nice atmosphere and decor, friendly staff. I just wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!

We went there at about 12 on a Friday and it was about half full. There were a lot of families in with young children so it was very noisy (some sound absorbing ceiling panels would help a lot here!). The food was very good but it took over half an hour to arrive. The decor was fun and there were plenty of different seating options from comfy sofas to seating in a little side room and out on the terrace. All is on a level and accessible except for one raised seating area at the far end.

What a fantastic experience. We love the lounges anyway but this one feels spacious, friendly and relaxed. The service was great all very friendly and attentive. I put notes on our order and they were executed perfectly. Never enjoyed a breakfast at the lounges as much as that one. Thank you very much.

Been to so many lounges like Clevedon and isle of wight amazing! though this must be the worst for food though bar staff are polite here and lovely ! My partner had a vegan curry only slightly warm. And I had a breakfast wherever you go you should always expect high standards of food! No matter the cost! But the breakfast I had even though it was at 8.50 pm it was grosse! Sausage was dried out you could tell it was reheated ! Even though u are not meant to heat up pork again! Mushroom was all shrivelled up and tomatoes! And egg was over cooked! They didn't even bring butter for toast! And the dried egg was presented on toast! It's so sad they serve up this crap! Because it was! Should be ashamed has it was not even busy ! I only complained about the egg! Even then I got questioned on it ! I really think the kitchen staff needs to buck up! I have emailed head office has this is not acceptable!

First time coming here since it changed to Miro Lounge. We went for my birthday drinks with friends. First of all they have full separate menus for both vegan and gluten free which is so nice to see! The atmosphere is friendly and warm and the staff were great. Alana was particularly sweet and helped make my birthday special. I had the vegan burger and it was really good. Dog friendly which is a big bonus for us. All around a great experience. Thank you!

We took my in-laws out with both our dogs last week and were really impressed with the service, the food and especially the dog friendliness! My in-laws used to run a restaurant and didn't have a bad thing to say about it, and in fact said they wished they had a miro lounge near them as they'd go there regularly. It also was our puppy's first dining out experience and he was so comfortable he slept in between licking friendly staff members and patrons. We will definitely be back!

Extensive menu including many vegan options. Lots of healthy choices and the food is well prepared and presented. I dropped a point for atmosphere because although it's interestingly decorated it's a large open space and it can get quite noisy when busy. Dogs are welcome which is great.

Just perfect! Sunday breakfast with my dog! In the previous establishment, the dogs were not welcome but the Loungers truly have heart. And the other benefit is that they have a gluten-free menu and delicious food. The service is quick and attentive. Mila loves it too!!

Had a great evening last week coming here for cocktails and food. It's cosy and perfect for a date. The bartenders were so lovely. We ordered a few cocktails as well as food. All the cocktails were on point which was impressive, no notes whatsoever. And it was great to be able to order food from the restaurant upstairs down to the bar. Fantastic place, will definitely come back in future.

Absolutely love the Granary Club in Bristol! From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel completely at home – they’re always so welcoming, friendly, and professional. The whole vibe of the place is super chilled, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or catch up with friends. They always have great music playing too, which adds to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. One of the absolute highlights for me has to be their flatbreads – they’re seriously delicious and have become my go-to choice every time I visit. On top of that, the cocktail menu is fantastic, with a wide variety to choose from. I especially loved their “Midnight Echo” – it’s perfectly balanced and full of flavour. All in all, the Granary Club has quickly become my new favourite place to go in Bristol. Highly recommend checking it out!

I recently had my 50th birthday party at The Granary Club and I could not have had a better evening! From the moment we picked this lovely venue to the evening itself we were treated so well. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming with every interaction. The building is so rich in history and such a stunning location that I instantly felt like it was going to be a great night. The room lends itself to socialising and was great for talking, dancing and had a good sized smoking area at the back for fresh air!! Our initial contact was with Zack, the bar manager, who was really communicative and helpful and then on the evening itself, Damian, Emily and Josh who made delicious cocktails and kept the party going. I still have friends telling me how good the drinks were and what a fantastic place it was. I didn't really want to have a 50th but after this I'm now considering a 51st - it was such good fun and I can't overstate how much of this was due to the hard work of the lovely people at The Granary Club and their fun and welcoming attitude. Thank you so much!

The cocktails were really good. But the food was subpar and the quality has dropped. The auto tip option added to the bill, did not like that. Employer should be paying their staff a proper wage and not expecting customer to tip on top of a mediocore meal.

If you are after a great cocktail place with a nice, laid back vibes and beautiful decor, you are at the right place. Their cocktail menu is great, and they do upgrade it quite frequently. Service is fast and the lady serving us was really nice, giving us great recommendations for the taste of cocktails we were after. Definitely recommend this place for date nights. They have some cosy 2 person, face to face tables and just the right amount of music for you to be able to enjoy a conversation. Don't miss the sign when coming here, the cocktail bar is underground. Next to it, on ground level there are some appartments with the same name.

The “celebration” where enthusiasm is proportionate to the amount of Pinot Grigio consumed, and nobody really wants to be there except Sandra from accounts (until she’s crying in the corner). The buffet is a fluorescent homage to beige, the wine a choice between battery acid red and white that’s somehow both warm and tasteless. The DJ? A Christmas classic jukebox with wandering eyes. And let’s not forget the HR reviews scheduled for the next day. It’s corporate purgatory with tinsel. But then, we did something radical. We picked The Granary Club. Tucked away near Queen Square, The Granary Club is what happens when someone finally says, “You know, we deserve better.” It’s a bar with soul, the kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel as though you’ve stumbled into the lobby of a five-star boutique hotel. The décor is achingly chic: all exposed brick and soft lighting, the perfect balance between industrial edge and understated elegance. The food? A revelation. Slow-cooked lamb that melted as if in apology for every dry turkey sandwich you’ve ever endured, and truffle flatbreads so decadent you could practically hear them sneer at the sad, shrivelled sausage rolls of Christmas past. The drinks were where The Granary really shone. No hurriedly poured house spirits sloshed into sticky glasses here. Every cocktail was crafted with care, each one a small masterpiece of flavour and presentation. The Old Fashioned was a triumph, the Espresso Martini rich enough to fuel you through even the longest rendition of “Fairytale of New York.” And the vibe? Impeccable. A soft hum of festivity without the forced jollity of a seasonal cattle market. Even Dave, who usually communicates exclusively through email, managed to relax. And Sandra? She didn’t cry once. The Granary Club didn’t just save the Christmas party; it redefined it. So, if you’re planning an event and you actually care about your staff, this is the place. Because let’s face it—if the Christmas party doesn’t feel like a reward, what’s the point?

A great location overlooking the quay. The sixes game itself is great fun, and is suitable for all ages. It is good for all abilities and is surprisingly addictive, especially when you play in a group. We had pizza and burgers and the quality of food was excellent; much better than similar venues. I have been to other sixes locations in London, and I think this is the best. Even if you can't get booked for the cricket , this is a great spot for a drink and food. Don't be put off if you haven't played cricket in years, you will have a great time. Strongly recommended.

We had such a fun afternoon here! The cricket was smashing and our 7 year old loved it! We got a bit competitive at times 😂🤪but all ended swimmingly well. Has to be said, what stood out the most for us was Eileen and her amazing service! She was warm, welcoming and attentive. Thank you Eileen; thank you Sixes Bristol. We'll surely be coming back:)

Googled sports bars so I could watch the cricket 🏏, this place came up, poped in for a quick pint ... 4 beers and a Margherita pizza later, what a place, great staff, great fun, Eileen was so helpful and attentive, I'm coming back for my birthday in July

I don't like to give poor reviews but unfortunately on this occasion we had a very unsatisfied evening. We were guided to a table next to the cricket nets and it hadn't been cleaned. The lady mentioned that she'll be back shortly to clean it, which never happened. We had 30 minutes for our session but the rules were being explained after the lady had already pressed start, cutting our time short. We ordered a pizza which was under cooked and the sauce wasn't covering the top. This would have been a very nice pizza but more attention to detail would have been better as it was only a 9inch pizza for £15 (seems expensive). We sat down at a different table to have this pizza, which hadn't been cleaned either and the seats were covered in crumbs and food from the previous customers. Through out our time there we weren't checked on to see if we required more drink or snacks during the cricket game. As it was quite dead in the the place, this was surprising because they are supposed to i believe. It was very quiet through out the duration of us being there and we could only see two staff out on front. One lady which seemed to be running around doing everything while the man behind the bar did nothing. Not even poor a drink whilst we were there. When walking to the bar the staff assumed we wanted the bill without asking as we were going to get a drink before heading out but that didnt happen. They printed it out, put the card machine in front of us with no greating, no asking if we required the bill or a beverage, no gratification for making the payment and no good-bye, pure silence and rude. This was the man I mentioned earlier. Music was far too loud! So over all not a great evening out and I wouldn't come back here.

OMG THE MUSIC IN THIS PLACE IS SO LOUD! Entrance is a little tricky to find, and a few members of our party got lost. There are lots of stairs going up to the business. There didn't appear to be a customer lift, that I could see (would have been helpful due to poorly leg). If there was a lift, I wouldn't know how you would be able to access it, as there are no staff down at the entrance. Maybe via pre-arrangement? We were asked to arrive half an hour early for the party. We ended up hanging about in SUPER NOISY CRICKET PLACE for almost an hour before we were called in for our go. I wish we had turned up late due to the insane noise levels. Our session started late due to the previous one overrunning. Staff were lovely and reset the game when it did not work correctly. Plenty of seating and areas to watch the batters. We didn't eat, but the food coming out looked pretty decent if a little pricey (but not outrageous). Kids had a nice time but got bored waiting between goes batting (the arcade machines served as a nice distraction). We left overstimulated and with our ears ringing. Would probably return if invited by friends, but would arrive later than advised and bring ear plugs.
