Modern European restaurant
MUGA is an upscale restaurant in Poznan, Poland, known for its exquisite cuisine and extensive wine list. It has been awarded one star by the prestigious MICHELIN Guide 2023 inspectors, making it the only restaurant in Poznan and one of three in Poland to receive this recognition. Chef Artur Skotarczyk's culinary style combines French techniques with seasonal local ingredients and luxury delicacies, presented with a contemporary flair.
Outstanding even by Michelin standards!!! Every single dish was spectacular - creative, surprising, yet balanced and unpretentious and most importantly, incredibly good. I would have the same menu again any minute. The delicate and beautiful presentation was another highlight. The quantity was also perfect - I left well fed but not stuffed. Another highlight was the selection of non-alcoholic beverages - an exquisite combination of rare products sourced from suppliers and their own mocktails.

I had a very good weekday dinner at this small, comfortable restaurant, with adjacent wine and spirits shop. The servers were excellent, especially the sommelier. However, I was disappointed to repeatedly hear the servers use a crumb vacuum (!) between courses, at each table, as needed. Crumb knife or scoop, of course. A brush, yes. Even that manual roller brush device. Maybe. Because none of those items is loud enough to interrupt the conversation at the next table. In any case, I did enjoy the cod with sea lettuce and fennel, and the beef sirloin with side of marrow. Unfortunately, my beef marrow, blue cheese and beetroot biscuit, while delicious, became a bit messy after the first bite. And I really appreciated the Stella Pirrum pear vodka digestif, which, I was told, is distilled in Leszno, specifically for this restaurant (and wine merchant). I will have to return. 2025 04 10. M1.

Amazing time in Poznań! Dinner at Muga was an unforgettable experience — thank you for the creativity, sophistication, and delicious flavors. Every dish was like a story on its own, paired with elegance. A truly enjoyable and inspiring culinary journey!

Only 1 Michelin restaurants in town. We have a great time dining here our service lady Dagmala were super kind and knowledgeable. They have quite good wine list and knowledge sommelier. All courses were amazing which is difficult to actually fine in Michelin restaurants, coz many time it is mix. If you are into fine food you won’t be disappointed.

Interesting experience. Food is delicious, staff is helpful and the local looks nice. We spent 2,5 hours there. Totally worth its price
Franek M — Google review
We had the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairing, an outstanding an exciting experience in Poznan, certainly a well-deserved Michelin 1 star. They have an elegant service and a good selection of wines. We started with a very nice cava Llopart Reserva, then three appetizers, the octopus, the fish, the guinea fowl, the tartar, the tenderloin, and finally the deserts. The whole dinner is just history that marked our lives with incredible tasteful combinations, a rainbow of flavours.

Restaurant ORZO Poznań is a new and trendy eatery in the heart of Poznań, offering a range of Spanish-inspired dishes with superb tastes. The high quality of service and the congenial atmosphere make it an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing meal or perhaps some refreshing drinks in the evening.
Went for a meal for 2 and a few drinks. Excellent all round. It was our third visit and always great.
Steve W — Google review
We went there for a lunch. The food was delicious, but the cream was added to almost all the pasta they have has on the menu, which is of course not suitable and the dishes, especially with orzo should be prepared as authentic as possible. I also did not like the food quality, which was average, considering the ingredients. Regarding the costs it was rather cheap. I would suggest to increase the prices a bit and provide high quality ingredients. Service itself it was excellent. The ambient is very nice and I like it a lot.
Rebeka L — Google review
a place with disgusting service, I was seated at a table, given a menu and no one paid any attention to me, the waiters walked past, had nice conversations with neighboring tables, but to make an order I had to go behind the bar, where by the way I also had to wait for about 5 minutes until the bartenders finished their conversation among themselves. They saw me, but continued their conversation laughing. I don’t recommend this place if you are starving. They asked if I want water with lemon, I said yes, and they brought it without 🤦🏻‍♀️ And tartare was too salty unfortunately.
Maryia Y — Google review
Nice place, good food and very tasty, well seasoning beef and chicken also it has a very clean flavours profile and service are helpful and generous
Ala A — Google review
The atmosphere of the place is quite pleasant, and the staff is very polite and welcoming. However, I was disappointed with the coffee—it lacked flavor and wasn’t enjoyable at all. As for the dessert, I tried the cannoli, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. It wasn’t anything like what a proper cannoli should be. Overall, a mixed experience.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The restaurant is not in the centre, so it was a random choice. We got there at business lunch time, so we were pleased with the prices. Frankly speaking, we rarely order Italian cuisine or burgers in restaurants, but this time we asked the waiter for a recommendation on the choice of dish. We were recommended pasta with seafood and a burger with ribs and barbecue sauce. We also ordered the house white wine with the pasta and a classic wheat beer. The order was prepared quite quickly. The burger was very tasty: well toasted bun, excellent meat, tasty BBQ sauce. The seafood pasta was also satisfying: big prawns, soft squid and a nice spicy sauce. Service was unobtrusive but considerate. It's nice that the staff speaks fluent English.

Restaurant
Wypas is a vegan restaurant that serves a diversity of cuisine, such as falafel and bento boxes. Although the restaurant is popular among locals for a craft beer or glass of wine, their baked goods, like all dishes on their menu, are also dairy and animal free.
Why falafel is green? That was super delicious falafel and soya yoghurt, ohhhh and the radish was tasty too, this trio I remember the most from the plate. The rest was fresh but not memorable. Service is really great! 👌🏻 Friendliness is hugging you straight away after you go down the stairs. Atmosphere well... service is amazing so the atmosphere should be too! In general I like idea of the place 💡 Thank you Guys! Mona ❤️

Nice place. Elevated and low tables outside. Few tables inside. Lots of food choices. Everything vegan. Food inspired by Arab countries, Israel and Asia. Interestingly, you can also eat a vegetable porkchop with stewed potatoes there. Dishes in bowls and plates. Choice of non-alcoholic beers and drinks. Good choice for lunch and early dinner. Quality, quality! Strong recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We tried the following: -Japanese plate -Polish plate -Tom kha soup And liked all of them. We also got pack of potato filled croquettes(which i didnot like) and donuts. Nice vegan joint . The food was literally served in 15 minutes.
Kamalita M — Google review
Wypas offers something like "oriental" plates where you can experience some types of variations inspired by cuisines from around the world. We ordered Korean bowl and Mexican plate and both of them were soooo flavourful that each bite was an amazing experience. Eating there turned me into really good mood! Prices are a bit higher than in most of polish restaurants(currently those plates cost sth around 30 zł) but the portions are really solid so you will for sure get filled, also all ingredients are sooo fresh. Definitely recommend! Update: I felt like i need to come back to this place cos polish plate sounded so well for me- i really wanted to try it. And oh wowwwww! That was like a heaven for me. It brought me back memories from childhood. V-schabowy had a meat structure and was covered in some crispy shell. Potatoes were sooo smooth and tasted like butter. Cabbage was a bit nah for me but it didnt ruin my experience at all! If you miss classic polish dinner go for it!
Zuzanna L — Google review
Food here is amazingly tasty, made out of really fresh and high quality ingredients and full of spices. I have tried three plates: Arabic, Japanese and Korean. All three were exquisite combination of variety of flavors. I think what is best about them is thr richness - there is no boredom. Look at the arabic one: three amazing falafels served with variety of veggies full of different spices and amazing bread. Soups are also very tasty and I would certainly reccommend trying their red house wine.
Jan S — Google review
Hearty vegan world cuisine. We had the Polish Plate (seitan schnitzel) and the Sea Plate (tofish and celeriac mash). Both were delicious and substantial. Service was friendly.
Jonathan C — Google review
Small-ish, but cozy, vegan cafe/restaurant. A local friend took me there for dinner last night, and I went back again tonight. Had the same meal both times, effectively a very stylishly presented sushi meal with delicious small side of pickled salad, ginger and wasabi. The sushi had a part tempura coating, which was very nice and gave a crunchy effect to the sushi. Never had that before. Staff are very friendly and efficient. This is an easy place to miss,UST go down a few steps first. Quite unexpected and quaint. Plus the famous Watcher Art is in the area.
Keith D — Google review
I ate Arabic plate. Food was good, veggies were definitely fresh. Big plus for using fresh herbs (mint! :)) for salads. Sauce tasted good and was fitting nicely with veggies. Falafel could be more spicy and definitely could use a lot more parsley. Pita bread is very flat, dry and oily so not what I'm looking for in a pita.

FALLA is a vegetarian restaurant in Poznan that offers dishes inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant is cozy and has a friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
Really great vegetarian and vegan food, a little limited in terms of drink options. Fatimas hand is very good, always get the umami sauce to add on to whatever you other. Very nice backyard to sit in during the summer/spring.
Lotte R — Google review
The food is decent if it's about the taste but nothing crazy. Fatima hand is served with mostly veggies and a bit small amount (as for my preference) of pita breads. It's a good place if you set your expectations as for a chain restaurant but wouldn't call it a crazy, unforgettable experience.
Zuzanna L — Google review
This is my favourite restaurants in Poznań, perhaps the whole of Europe! Highly recommend! The big hand plate for 2 people to share, and the hummus plate was absolutely amazing. And so incredibly cheap (as an Australian)!!
Nina J — Google review
It tastes as amazing as it looks! I simply love their food, always fresh, with awesome combination of spices. Check out their seasonal menus. Watermelon soup was great choice! A bit pricey, but once in a while it's definitely worth it. I keep coming back :)

Great and nice staffs Food was amazing, different tastes. I loved the diffeent pickles. Falafel bowl was mix of different tastes. Drinks were good as well.
Mahsa L — Google review
Cozy place, serving only vegetarian food. Amazingly delicious. Has outdoor tables. In minus: very popular and crowded, at peak hours it is hard to find table and waiting for food can be annoyingly long. But it’s totally worth it. Photo: Fatima’s hand: falafels, 5 different hummus, vegetables and pita bread, for two (48 PLN); Zlaty Bazant 0,5L (10 PLN)
Marcin B — Google review
Wanted to like it because of their decor and their concept a bit funky (mix vegan middle eastern with mexican), unfortunately they got too creative. Because i ordered shakshouka mexican style which was too tomatoey. It was just okay-chipotle kinda saved the whole dish- was well presented tho-pome seed a bit random over there but apparently they loved to put elsewhere like on the other falafel bowl. Falafel bowl (didnt take the pic) was good with mix tabouleh salad, hummus and pickles (a but too much). Good thing the falafels were so good-also hummus. Perfect. Unfortunately the pita bread was so stale. Too hard, not fluffy at all. Maybe its their take, i dont know. Overall it was just edible.
Shelly M — Google review
Very tasty food. You must order the kimchy wrap. Glad they have vegan options. Sometimes they take long to serve the food but last time they were quick; I ordered a vegan aubergine dish very yummy but a bit spicy.

This revised review reflects the challenges faced by vegan restaurants during the lockdown period. However, SZCZAW I MIRABELKI PIĄTKOWO has shown great improvement in several aspects. The availability of more space and the ability to walk in without a reservation, even on busy nights like Saturdays, is a significant upgrade. The staff is efficient and prompt in their service, ensuring quick delivery of orders.
Wonderful place with amazing staff! Firstly I heard about this place from my mom and I was reluctant to go there, however once she convinced me - I regret I didn't come earlier. The food served there is delicious. I came to the restaurant with my mom and husband who are both meat eaters and they both struggled to finish their portions cause they are very generous and incredibly tasty (my husband got kebab pizza, my mom broccoli cutlets and I had gyro plate with grilled Mediterranean veg). Same with drinks - they are really good and served in large glassware. Im definitely gonna come back there next time I'm in Poznań. For vegans and vegetarians this place is a must visit for food. The only downside of this place is they don't provide English menu for foreigners however the Polish one is written clearly enough that a translator picks up a correct English words without a problem.
Karolina ( — Google review
This is revised review after the lockdown season which was hard for everyone but especially vegan restaurants. There is more space than before and you can walk in without reservation even on Saturday night. Big improvement. The staff is fast and to the point. You get served quickly. The selection of dishes is better than before. All dishes are clearly marked as vegetarian or vegan and gluten free. If you are in doubt you will get guidance from the staff. The cooks are creative and flexible. The place is an important location on Poznań vegetarian map.
Mikolaj P — Google review
Everything was just fine. But also, it's not better than just fine therefore 4 stars. I took my mum for a Mother's Day. She really liked it but I had a few small remarks to food. Meringue in the ice dessert was spongy, maybe old. Carmel coffee was a bit off - maybe that syrup was so-so. Anyway, dessert 🍨 was really good. Lots of strawberry syrup/jam. I will come back and try the main courses.

Wonderful food & great service here. Recommend booking ahead at busy periods.

Amazing food, all vegan variants, indoor dining available all times, interesting recipes, delicious soups. All in all, great experience and service. Thank you.

You'll be fooled while at this place... in the best way possible! You don't have to follow a concrete diet to come here, people with ordinary eating habits will be surprised how well does the food here mimic the meat inclusive catering, yet without laying a finger on the animals. Try burgers first, if you have no idea where to start, but contrary to the expectations, you'll most likely be overwhelmed with what to choose. Much recommended!

Fantastic, greenery decorated place with absolutely delicious food for vegans. Everything I ordered was super fresh and very tasty. If you plan to go there around September (menu is seasonal, dishes change every month), I highly recommend floral lemonade with blue pea flower and lavender, tacos and salted caramel cheesecake. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My new fav vegan restaurant in Poznań! Ps. I found that delivery drivers and riders were having a free of charge water courtesy of restaurant and a toilet had a pink box for women who could use free of charge tampons and sanitary pads. Little touches, but add a lot to the overall impression :)

The food was exceptionally good and the staff were incredibly friendly. Love this place. It also has some seats outside so you can sit relaxing in the warm weather in the summer. We found this lovely place via Happy Cow, what an amazing experience❣️❣️ Even in Berlin there is no vegan Mexican food but in lil Poznan. ☺️ Very cosy inside the restaurant, designed with a lot of passion and love. The server in at the time we went spoke fluent english and made very good recommendations based on the questions we asked. I will come back without a doubt.

Reggaeton and Dia de los Muertos decor. Relatively small venue. Half full with visitors. Pictures of Frida Kahlo and Rey Mysterio. Of course! Maybe some Mariachis lurk behind a corner to surprise me. You'd think I'd have learned how to eat Mexican tacos after my stay there last year, but I'm making a mess. The plate looks like a battlefield. But at least it's good. As good as I remember it. Feels like these tacos have more ingredients though. Stuffed and satisfied. Now I don't have to eat until tomorrow.

What an amazing find this was. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. The service was at a very European pace, which was great for us as we were not in a rush. We even had enough food to take home and have for breakfast along with a bun. We will be back to try the dounuts.
Michael S — Google review
For spicy food lovers and others! You can discover very tasty mexican meals from not spicy at all to very spicy. The tacos are my favorite choice. I highly recommend their desserts as well - on Fat Thursday they have the BEST vegan donuts in Poznań.

Owca Cała is a vegan Italian restaurant located in Jezyce, known for its plant-based versions of classic pasta dishes. The restaurant prides itself on creating pasta from scratch using the freshest ingredients. While it may be on the pricier side, the portions are generous and satisfying. Visitors have raved about the beautiful, creative, and delicious dishes such as asparagus soup and gnocchi. The menu is seasonal, so guests with food allergies should check for updates.
Super friendly staff and a great choice for food. Loads of vegan pastas that you can see them make fresh at the front of the store. The chocolate pretzel cookie was incredible too!

Thank you, Universe, for people who can cook vegan food this well! The pasta was incredible, and the cannolo blew me away. I’d honestly travel all the way from Austria again just for dishes like these.
Katharina H — Google review
a must visit for any Vegan in Poznan, or even Poland for that matter! Terrific, high quality plant based food, mostly pasta dishes with the menu changing up every so often keeping things fresh. The food is all made from scratch giving it its unique quality, along with some unbelievably tasty desserts. Really happy with the prices considering the quality of food they serve! Welcoming, cosy, atmostphere in the place with good music and friendly staff. Ideally located in the centre of Poznan with plenty of travel links nearby, give it a visit!

LOVED this place! Amazing vegan pasta. Service was excellent. Lots of families & couples out for dinner-seems like a thriving hot spot.
Sophie — Google review
Fully vegan pasta restaurant, with casual setting and very fast service even when they're busy. I've been there twice, tried apricot ravioli, gnocchi, orange tagliatelle and of course the canoli. Everything was superb. The cottage cheese with the gnocchi had really nice flavors balance and texture, the canoli was so crispy (I also liked that it's filled with fruits instead of just simple cream!). Interesting flavors, everything is made in house. The dishes are filling without being too fat or salty. English menu available. Fun place!
Lior B — Google review
Maybe this will be a controversial opinion, but for me the only advantage of this place is that they have vegan options. I don't know how does the process for selecting menu items each month works, but vegan doesn't necessarily have to mean mild and tasteless. I will admit that the tomato-based sauces they make taste pretty well and actually have some spices in them, but for some reason there is only maybe 1-2 tomato based pastas every few months. The other months there are only white pastas, which i tried more than a dozen of and they're always disappointing. The cocktails are pretty nice so together with the occasional tomato pasta they are the reason for the bumped food star rating. If you want a vege pasta, I'd advice going anywhere else and getting a simple Napoli or something with spinach - they have these basically everywhere.
Dushan C — Google review
I was beyond excited to try this place, and it did not disappoint; it far exceeded my expectations! The staff was attentive, caring, kind, and fun. They totally go out of their way to make you feel welcome, even when you can hardly speak the language. (Dziękuję!) The food was phenomenal and fresh!!! The asparagus ravioli was INSANE, and the meatballs in the gnocchi were the best vegan meatballs I've ever tried—and I've tried many. They even have a vegan parmesan shaker on the table, which I have never seen before and wish I could have left with (btw, I rarely like vegan cheese and loved every option here). The non-alcoholic beer choices were plentiful, and now I'm fully addicted to Rebel Rider. Big, big, big plus that it's super inclusive. I felt at home and never wanted to leave. I only wish I had room to try the tiramisu or pistachio cookie. The dessert looked delectable.

Talerzyki, nestled in the charming Jezyce district, is a delightful restaurant that specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine. This casual eatery offers an inviting atmosphere with modern decor and a friendly vibe, making it perfect for enjoying small plates designed for sharing. Diners can indulge in delicious options like falafel, hummus, and shakshuka while savoring the fresh flavors of each dish. The experience is enhanced by attentive staff who are eager to guide you through the menu.
I love the idea of this place- ordering a set of plates to share with your company. We ordered set off 3 plates + salad and it was a perfect amount of food for two. To your order you get some extra fresh bread and sauerkraut which is great. All food tastes delicious and fresh. The waitress working there was really kind and willing to explain the menu. The prices are really affordable. I will definitely come back.

This is by far one of the best Arabic restaurants I’ve been to outside of an Arabic country!!! Everything was delicious and made authentically to the way we make it back home!!! 100% recommend. Added bonus everything is vegetarian!!!! The service was amazing, the food was delicious and the vibe was great! Best breakfast/lunch joint in Poznan by far!

Everything was perfect! only the bread was doughy. It would be nice if there were more bread options for me I would definitely go for normal Arabic bread.

Warzywniak is a charming and intimate eatery located on Zydowska Street in Poznan's Old Town. It is known for its simple yet flavorful dishes, with their famous falafel being a favorite among regulars. The restaurant exudes warmth and hospitality, as reflected in the phrase "People are important, not places" on its front door. Despite its small size, it offers a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with eggs from farm hens.

(Translated by Google) Avocados always have to be thrown away - I've already cut myself 5 times and took the risk of buying them. Seasonally - strawberries, I'm not surprised that they have to be "served by the seller" since half of them are moldy or rotting every day. How to recommend here?
