The Croissant Museum, also known as Rogalowe Muzeum Poznania, is a cultural museum located in a Renaissance tenement house. It is dedicated to showcasing the history of baking croissants, particularly the traditional St. Martin's croissant. Visitors can participate in interactive displays and exhibits to learn about the secrets of making this special pastry. The museum offers an experiential opportunity to bake their own unique Poznan specialty, the St.
Nice experience. The lecture about Poznań and the history of croissants is humorously led by young guides and is definitely worth a visit. We also got to taste a croissant. You can also sign up as a volunteer and participate in the production of a croissant. We bought the tickets online.
Marta V — Google review
Very nice and fun activity. The guy doing the show were really lovely and funny so it’s definetly a time you’ll enjoy. They tell about the origins of this tradition and explain how to make yourself a St Martin croissant. At the end, you have. A privileged view to the goats show on the town hill clock. I recommend this experience if you have time to spare in Poznan.
Juliana P — Google review
The Rogalowe croissant museum in Poznan, Poland is a fast paced talk, delivered with humour & lots of information. We found out the history of St. Martin & then how this very special croissant is made. It is interactive but not for the whole audience. They like to have between 6-8 helpers who complete different stages of the process of the croissant making. I have to let you into a secret that I did not enjoy the flavour of the croissant but knowing where it originates from more than made up for it.
Sally D — Google review
The St. Martin's croissant making experience is great fun! Suitable for all ages, very entertaining and well presented, and everyone gets to have a turn if they want to participate. The experience is very sensory friendly and child friendly, as they allow visitors to move around, leave the room for a bit, or take part in the class as they wish. Both hosts were knowledgeable and funny, they presented the history and tradition of these little pastries very well, and at the end of the class everyone got to taste a bit as well. There's also a great view of the town hall goats, if you join the 2pm class. Definitely book ahead though, as it does tend to sell out.
Bianca W — Google review
An entertaining experience and not what I had expected. The two guys running it were fun, made jokes and got the audience involved. From a little bit of history, to local dialect, to how they are made. 14:00 was the English version which was basically most nationalities that do not understand Polish. Worth a visit and definitely a nice way of spending an hour.
Richard A — Google review
We went to the croissant museum and it was so fun! The guys are funny when they’re explaining the history of the croissant. They let us take photos of the town square and it was beautiful. Highly recommend! The croissants were delicious

Did English language show. Very fun, interactive, and funny hosts. Family friendly and good way to get out of rainy weather! Buy tickets in advance online.

A very humorous and interactive experience. You get a sample of the St Martin croissant at the end. Hosts had good English and command. Pricey for the experience but overall enjoyed it.

Perched on Przemysl Hill, the Royal Castle is a modern reconstruction of a 13th-century fortress that once served as the seat of Polish King Przemysl II. The castle's thick walls and defense tower reflect its medieval significance. Today, it houses the Museum of Applied Arts and offers an observation deck with breathtaking panoramic views of Poznan.
Pretty art Polish and Flamish. Nice collection of Nederland tales from Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Lovely jewerly collection and unique Hair neclace, Victorian earrings. Go on Tueday when its completly free.

Nice architecture. The museum is quite small but has interesting objects shown. The staff spoke English, however the text is in polish (we used our phones to translate so it didn't change much).
William F — Google review
My first visit in Poland was Pozńan. It was closed at 16:00, but I arrived at 15:30 p.m. The observatory was over, but I asked them to let me see it politely, and I could see beautiful old city in Poznań. Finally I came down after watching it before 16:00(relief) There's no need for words. It's so beautiful!!! beautiful!
Frida1907 — Google review
We went on a Sunday and I don't know why but the staff told us it was free entry that day. Very nice view from the roof and a lot of interesting items throughout the museum. Cloakrooms staff were rude, but everyone else working there was lovely.
Aisling S — Google review
The view was standing and it was cheap as well. It wasnt busy at all which I loved. I went to the roof for the view on a sunday at rougly 4 o clock.
Jesse H — Google review
The museum itself is quite nice however the service was poor. The workers seemed quite angry as if they didn't want to be there, security follows you around literally everywhere aka. Your being stalked, the lift to the tower was broken and toilets on the first floor shut down.
Subertub ! — Google review
The views from the top of the tower are okay. The elevator was not working, so we had to walk. The staff were unapproachable and the exhibits underwhelming. Only worth visiting for the view from the top of the tower. It was not busy, which suggests how underwhelming it is.
James S — Google review
Firstly, to my surprise & delight, entrance is free on a Tuesday. If you go up to the top of the Tower, onto the outside terrace, you get good views of the Old Town and beyond. A lift takes you up 6 floors and then it's just a few steps to the top. The exhibition of artifacts itself is very good and I particularly like the way they've designed the lighting, many glass cabinets of internal lighting or spotlights directed from high above. This really cuts down or eliminates back refection in the glass which often interfers with viewing/photographing items. The collection covers furniture, ceramics, glass & metal, weapons, jewellery etc. Items presented here cover a period from middle ages to modern times. The other thing to mention is that information on the exhibits is also given in English.

City Hall
Poznan's Town Hall, a 14th-century marvel with a stunning gothic facade and ornate entrance hall, is steeped in history. Inside the Historical Museum of Poznan awaits, offering an immersive journey through the city's past. The nearby City Church of St. Stanislav and Lady boasts beautiful baroque architecture and often serenades passersby with its famous organs. The Imperial Castle also holds intriguing historical significance.
Poznań Town Hall, located in the city’s Old Market Square, is a stunning Renaissance building dating back to the 16th century. Famous for its mechanical goats that emerge from the clock tower at noon, it houses the Poznań Town Hall Museum and is a key architectural landmark in the city. The building is known for its intricate design and historical significance. According to the story, a cook at the Town Hall accidentally burned the dinner he was preparing for the town’s important officials. As punishment, he was thrown out of the building and onto the Market Square. In retaliation, the cook reportedly climbed the tower and installed two goats that would appear each day at noon, butting heads as a humorous reminder of his mishap. The goats have since become an iconic part of Poznań's Town Hall, with the tradition lasting for centuries.

I recently visited Hall Town in Poznań and had a really good time! The place is spacious, clean, and well-organized. I went there for a small local event and was impressed with how professional everything looked. The staff were super friendly and helpful — they answered all my questions with a smile. The building itself is modern and has a nice atmosphere. It’s perfect for events, meetings, or even just hanging out with friends. I liked the lighting inside — it felt cozy but also fresh and bright. The bathrooms were very clean, which is always a big plus. There’s also a little café area where you can grab a coffee or snack. Prices were fair, and the quality was good. The location is great too — not far from the city center, and it’s easy to get there by public transport. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hall Town to anyone looking for a cool place for events or gatherings in Poznań. I’ll be happy to come back in the future!
Maksym O — Google review
Interesting historial building. Every day at noon two metal goats appear through a pair of small doors above the clock and butt their horns together 12 times, in deference to an old legend.
Anna M — Google review
Wonderfully decorated. It was lots of fun to attempt translating the latin inscriptions “Execute judgment and justice, and deliver the oppressed from the hand of the oppressor; do not wrong the stranger, the orphan, or the widow.”
Maria I — Google review
Stary Rynek is a very picturesque town square, typical of Polish towns and cities. The Town Hall is its centrepiece and tourists flock to watch the 1200 show every day.
Martin T — Google review
Loved seeing the goats come out at 12pm, bit of a novelty and there was a lovely atmosphere in the square. The museum is free on Tuesdays so we popped in for a look, it was interesting but difficult for non-Polish speakers and not very child-friendly. #EuroTrip2025
Mike — Google review
Just nice to visit on Tuesday, free museum entry. 2 goats will come out at 12 noon, it's amusing to watch.

Shopping mall
Stary Browar is a unique 19th-century brick brewery transformed into a vibrant shopping and cultural center in Poznan. With over 200 stores and restaurants, it offers a diverse range of shopping experiences, from boutique shops to supermarkets. Visitors can explore an array of products, including fashion items, antiques, and rare vodkas at bargain prices. The complex also features the colorful Wielkopolski Square market, offering homemade goods and insights into Polish daily life.
A beautiful location, loads of shops (a variety of different types and price ranges) A selection of cafes, restaurants and fast-food. These can be found spread out around shopping centre. Lifts, escalators and parking available, spread out over multiple floors. I went to the jewellery store W. Kruk, and bought rings for excellent value. It is very warm inside building, I visited in late February and I didn't wear a coat. Toilets are available.

Stary Browar is a unique cultural and shopping complex located in Poznań, housed in a former brewery building. The space combines a wide range of shopping, art, entertainment, and restaurants. The place is clean and spacious, making it possible to spend the whole day there. It’s a great spot for both locals and tourists. The building itself is beautiful, featuring a mix of industrial architecture and modern design.

Stary Browar Shopping Mall A Unique Blend of Art, Culture, and Commerce Stary Browar in Poznań is not just a shopping mall it’s a remarkable fusion of history, art, and modern retail. Built on the site of a 19th century brewery, this shopping center offers a one of a kind experience that sets it apart from typical malls. Its name literally means "Old Brewery," and the architectural design preserves many of the original elements, blending them seamlessly with sleek, contemporary structures. The mall features a wide range of stores, from high end fashion boutiques to well known global brands like Levi’s, Sephora, and Guess. It's a great place to shop for clothes, accessories, cosmetics, or unique gifts. Beyond shopping, there’s an impressive selection of cafés, bars, and restaurants, catering to both quick snacks and fine dining experiences. The food court and sit-down venues offer both international and Polish cuisine. What makes Stary Browar truly special is its dedication to art and culture. The mall regularly hosts exhibitions, installations, and cultural events, making a visit feel like a museum experience as much as a shopping trip. There’s also a theater space and an art gallery within the complex. Clean, elegant, and centrally located, Stary Browar is easily accessible by tram or foot from the city center. Its atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, attracting both locals and tourists. Whether you're looking to shop, eat, relax, or discover local creativity, Stary Browar is a must-visit in Poznań. Overall, Stary Browar successfully combines commercial appeal with cultural depth, offering something for everyone a destination that truly captures the spirit of the city.

The Imperial Castle, constructed between 1905 and 1910, is a prominent cultural center with bars, eateries, a museum, and tours. It's a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts due to its picturesque features like the Fountain of the Lions in the garden area. The castle's facade is adorned with intricate bas-reliefs depicting scenes from folklore and symbolic figures. Unlike most European cities that have one imperial castle, Poznan boasts two: the Royal Castle and the Imperial Castle.
A great place to visit in Poznań! You can walk around and explore it yourself. On the first floor, there are often interesting exhibitions. Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy cinema, a charming bookstore, and a lovely café with an amazing atmosphere. Definitely this place is worth stopping by if you’re in the area because of its history and the exhibition on the matter!
Bożena K — Google review
A modern / historic building with an interesting history. Beautiful rooms, but most are empty or display art / photography. This due to the building being converted and restored over the past 100 years. A lot of original furniture has been destroyed during various transitions of power. Lots of toilets and cloak rooms to store outer garments. I found the building to be warm. Very cheap entry tickets, I saw lifts and platform lifts for wheelchairs. Also a small cafe is on site. There is also a cinema situated within the building. Some small gardens outside, which were free to enter. I didn't see any parking. I saw braille maps and signs or description in. braille in every room. You can also pay for an audio tours.
Kerry B — Google review
From the outside, the castle looks nice, and the gardens, though small, are open to the public, which is a great option. However, the interior didn’t impress me. Navigation is unclear even with a map, and there are many doors likely rented out to third parties, which takes away from the castle atmosphere. Overall, it feels quite empty and not very engaging. The terrace with a city view was closed, probably unavailable during winter months.
Mateusz R — Google review
Very nice place to visit. Castle with not the best history. Interiors of the castle is quite empty but we enjoyed walk around and spent some time in back garden. We didn't pay as there was nobody at the entrance and garden or park is free for everyone.

Very nice castle with mix of old and new. The tickets are well priced and you can get an audio guide. The castle is much bigger than it appears. It took about an hour and a half to walk the entire tour. I highly recommend using the audio guide to give you an idea of the history of the building.

Brama Poznania is a modern and interactive museum located near Cathedral Island in Poznan, Poland. It offers a high-tech audio tour that narrates the history of Ostrow Tumski through interactive displays, maps, movies, and models. The museum is multilingual and provides an immersive experience for visitors to learn about the birth of the Polish nation.
Really friendly staff who were happy to help! The exhibition is so well done, the audio guide gives you a whistle stop tour of the museum but also gives you the opportunity to explore each room independently. You can scan each area with your guide and it gives you more in depth audio about. Also had a gorgeous little cafe, again with the loveliest staff!

Brama Poznania is a modern museum located in the heart of Ostrów Tumski, the historic island in Poznań. It serves as an interactive exhibition space that explores the history of the city, particularly its origins, development, and role in Polish history. It’s an essential stop for anyone interested in the city’s history.
Mateusz R — Google review
A must-see in Poznań! This museum is best experienced together with a visit to Cathedral Island, as the two complement each other perfectly. I spent about 3 hours here, and it was absolutely worth it. The exhibitions take you back to the very roots of Polish history – to 966, the first kingdom, and the Piast dynasty. The museum is very well organized, with timed entry every 20 minutes to avoid crowding. The audio guide is outstanding – modern, precise, and interactive. It uses your location inside the exhibition to guide you seamlessly from one point to the next. A super museum that really brings Polish history to life!

I visited Brama Pozania (Poland's gate) and I absolutely loved it. The museum present many exhibits and the audio tour is available in a variety of languages. The audio tour is also interactive as it gives you many things to do and exhibits to see. It is not too hard to navigate between the different exhibits since the audio tour walks you through the museum in a step-by-step manner and is easy to follow. The restaurant there is a but small and doesn't provide many options so you are better off eating somewhere else. Also, make sure that you go on a sunny day since you can take pictures on a terrace and the rain may not make you picture pretty!
Alexandre S — Google review
delicious place! we spent 2 hours there on an interactive tour with an audio guide. there are few historical exhibits, but there are film modules in each room. I learned much more about King Przemysław - who was actually as important as the other great kings of Poland. I highly recommend it, even to those who are not interested in history, to understand what the beginnings of the Polish Country were like.

The Brama Poznania Museum in Poznań offers a delightful experience for visitors. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Poznań!

Really excellent high tech multimedia exhibition taking you through the history of Cathedral Island and beyond. I would actually recommend coming here before visiting the Archdiocesan Museum or Cathedral as you'll pick up information from the audio guide and videos about both these places. The smart audio guide knows where you are and automatically plays a commentary for that area. Additionally if you more information about any exhibit you can point audio guide at the headphones symbol and press play. Good views from the terrace on the roof of the building and after you've completed your tour, head across the glass sides bridge to the Cathedral Lock.
Miles M — Google review
Great museum! Got the tram from hotel here and walked about 5 mins to get to the museum. Can't remember cost of entrance but it was cheap and included audio guide and an audio guide for the cathedral also. Spent maybe 2 hrs here and really enjoyed it ! Very informative, interactive and fun! Nice observation deck near the end of self guided tour also. don't have kids, but it's great for kids with lots of kids educational play areas also! If in Poznan I wouldn't miss this one!

The National Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa is a cultural gem that offers a fascinating insight into the history of food production and its impact on modern farming. The museum boasts an extensive collection showcasing folk culture, land reclamation, food processing, fertilization, and more. Visitors can explore vintage plows, tractors, bikes, and even interact with farm animals in the petting zoo.
Vast and amazing museum costing just 20 zl covering lots of historical interests and beyond: -agriculture (growing grains, making oil and flour etc) -farm machinery -cars -brewing and distilling -farm animals (you can pet some of them like goats) Really interesting day out. Many, but not all of the exhibits have English translations (would be great to have them for everything as the exhibits are so interesting) . The National Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa is a fantastic place to visit! The museum is incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to explore its fascinating exhibits on agriculture and food industry history. The grounds are beautifully maintained, making it a pleasant experience to walk around and take in the rich cultural heritage. One of the highlights is the food market held on Saturdays, where you can find a variety of fresh, local produce and traditional products. It's a perfect spot for both learning and enjoying a taste of Polish countryside life. Highly recommended for families, history enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a relaxing day out!

Catholic church
Poznań Cathedral, located on the historic Ostrow Tumski island in Poznań, Poland, is a grand Roman Catholic place of worship with a mix of architectural styles including Gothic and Baroque elements. The cathedral features a monumental double-towered structure and has undergone reconstruction after being damaged in 1945. It houses the crypt where early Polish kings were buried and showcases relics dating back to the 10th century.
What an amazing spiritual experience! Please take time to go through the altars and read the description. It was very peaceful.
Aditya T — Google review
The church is beautiful and truly impressive, absolutely worth visiting and admiring inside and outside. However, I do NOT recommend paying the 7 zloty to see the crypt: there is hardly anything to look at, you walk through it in a minute, and it doesn’t really add much value.

A very peaceful place. Great architecture. You can come in and just sit down and see everything there is to see give yourself a self-guided tour. On the outside you can walk around as well and read the different signs it's very interesting.

Definitely worth visiting, especially on a weekday morning when a morning mass is said in a side chapel. A very serene and prayerful place, of very high historical significance, being the burial place of the first few Polish kings.

Beautiful architecture and interior. Definitely recommend going into the crypts in the basement (7zł per person) to see the oldest parts and the buried archbishops. Definitely recommend

The cathedral in Poznań, together with a visit to Cathedral Island and the museum, is an absolute must-see in Poland. It holds the utmost importance for anyone interested in Polish history, reaching back to the year 966 – the time of the first ruler and the beginning of Polish Christianity. For me, it also explains why Polish society remains so deeply connected with the Christian tradition.

I was happy I could get in here after 6pm, even though the store was already closed. It was very dark, but one could see the beautiful modern glass stained windows and the altar, also the chapel with the Polish saints.

he Sint-Petrus-en-Paulusbasiliek in Poznań is one of the most interesting churches I've ever seen. The contrast between the deep, dark tones and the lavish gold detailing creates an atmosphere that feels almost otherworldly. It has a dramatic, almost mystical presence that sets it apart from many other churches. Walking inside, you’re immediately struck by the richness of the interior. The golden accents shine beautifully against the darker surroundings, giving the whole place a sense of grandeur and mystery. It’s definitely a must-visit for anyone who appreciates unique and atmospheric church architecture. Also the red bridge outside combines well with it I think.

The church is beautiful in and out, very calm place to sit and just meditate. There’s a Marian grotto in front of the church and there’s s a very big cross too on the other side. Shopping mall that was designed by fools. On the 2nd floor, there is no simple way down. There is an escalator, but only moving up. You go 100m forward, another escalator, again, only up. You go another 100m forward - the end of the floor, and no way down again.

Originally constructed from wood, they were used by local merchants to sell everyday items such as salt, candles, and torches.
The entire area of Stary Ranek is a beauty tk behold! The restaurants on the side of the roads are well arranged. Despite the teeming number of tourists, the streets are quite clean. Heard the view is even more majestic at night. You should definitely give it a second look at night.

Ratuszova Restauracja & Apartamenty A.D. 1954 is a refined restaurant located in a Renaissance tenement house in the historical heart of Poznan. The interiors are adorned with magnificent frescos and elaborate murals, creating an atmosphere akin to dining in a palace. The menu features traditional Polish dishes, such as prime sirloin tartare and duck baked with apples.
This was the best restaurant meal we have enjoyed in many years. It truly was exceptional! We had travelled to Poznan for a 4 night break with our friends. As it was their 31st wedding anniversary on our second night we decided that we wanted a special meal. A UK based friend who is originally from Poznan recommended the RATUSZOVA Restaurant. We were not disappointed! The food was interesting, visually stunning, beautifully cooked and so so tasty. Honestly, my steak melted in my mouth. Our waitress was sensitive, attentive and helped to make this an amazing 5 star experience! Our meal cost us 1300 zloty in total: the equivalent of £65/€70 each person! It was truly a bargain at that price! I don’t think Poznan can offer a better dining experience! A huge ‘Thank You’ to the chef and other kitchen and waiting staff at RATUSZOVA. If we come back to Poznan, we will definitely be coming back to you!

Great location and friendly staff. We had the lunch offer for 49 zl pp, which was well composed with a good soup as a starter and to main course we got duck. Heated plates to the main course and an amuse-bouche to start with, shows they care about the guests.

Location was great! Easy check in, but keep in mind that you will be getting your check in at the restaurant, if you get there after hours, you’ll not be able to do so. Also these are historical buildings, meaning no elevator. Comfortable bed, regular in room amenities. Highly recommend.

It was smaller than I thought, but I enjoyed it very much despite of that. It was amazing to read the information about various models, especially how many LEGO bricks they used to make it. I don't know much about Polish history, but didn't have any problem with anything. Next to each model there is an interactive digital book with all the historical facts in multiple languages.
Dean P — Google review
History Land was OK. Not great, but OK. We bought the combined ticket with the steel figure museum included and we were glad we did as that was more interesting. The enormously complex Lego figures depict various aspects of Polish history and are very impressive. The whole thing just felt a little bit short and having to pay extra for an audio guide felt a little cheeky.
Dean W — Google review
This was right across from our hotel in Krakow. Quite a unique experience. Basically details a lot of Polish history through these really cool, elaborate Lego creations. Entry was really inexpensive and we definitely got our money's worth. You are allowed to take pictures as well of the exhibits.
Will R — Google review
Heads-up: The playroom is not included with the ticket, but you will exit through the Lego store and then the playroom, your kids will want to play and you will pay an extra 20zl per person for 1 hour, 30zl for 2 hours, 40zl for the entire day. This actual museum exhibit is more for adults. The kids blew through the entire 8 or so exhibits in about 5 minutes. While these are massive and impressive Lego recreations of historical buildings and events, which clearly took a lot of time and effort but there is almost nothing to do but look at them and read/listen to the story. So, kids won’t be very interested… until the playroom at the end and they don’t tell you the playroom is an extra fee until you see the sign. It was a surprise to all of us and looks purposely misleading, and that’s why I’ve given only 1 star. Had they been upfront about the pricing I would have given maybe 4 star review and said this is more for adults while kids can go straight to the playroom. Also they can’t be bothered to have soap in any of the multiple dispensers in both of the bathrooms on a Sunday noon so it’s clear no one has checked on the bathrooms since a day or longer ago. If you visit Karpacz, there is a Lego museum which I gave 5 stars. It is in a small 3 level building with interactive exhibits and is an excellent experience. By interactive I mean a button or joystick to control something in each exhibit which also had lighting and sound effects. The key here is that kids could control something. Here in Poznan, the exhibit with many boats had a steering wheel which did nothing. This was the only thing kids could do. Back to Karpach, the kids spent about an hour on the exhibits and another hour playing with legos. They would gave stayed longer if we didn’t need to feed them. I am very disappointed in Historyland Poznan and would definitely prefer to get my money back if I could. For kids I suggest you bring them straight to the playroom for a couple hours while the adults sit outside and check your phone. On Sunday around noon it was very empty. Just a couple people walking through and a couple kids in the play area.

As you wander through its thoughtfully curated galleries, you'll encounter everything from ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces, offering a comprehensive glimpse into Poland's artistic journey.
The museum’s collection is truly exquisite, with a rich variety of works spanning from classical to modern art. It felt as though we were time travelers, genuinely listening to the stories that the masters of each era have shared with us through their artistic creations. Additionally, I’d like to mention something special. I was traveling with my cat, and the security staff at the entrance were very friendly. Initially, he suggested that we carry the cat carrier in front of us so that our cat could accompany us into the museum, but this was kindly declined by other staff. However, the security guard then led us to the storage area where we could temporarily leave the cat. When we returned, the staff was very kind and handed our cat back to us. When we were leaving, that same gentleman came over to check if our cat was doing well. It was such a heartwarming gesture. We sent our sincerest blessings to him and his two cats.

A lot of paintings. Mostly from 20 and 21 century. Lack of pictures from Commonwealth, expected to be more than it is. Also staff not speaking English or Russian. Hard to communicate. As well can see that common history with Lithuania is being hide or portrayed as only Polish. For example description of Stepan Batory painting mentions winnings done by Polish Army, which is misleading. Because significant part of the army was from Lithuania. Also participated others which worth to mention as their part also helped achievements.

The Archaeological Museum in Poznan, housed in a 16th-century palace, has its roots in the 19th century when there was a surge of interest in antiquity and archaeology. The museum showcases ancient Egyptian artifacts and offers interactive exhibits and workshops. It holds collections spanning from the Stone Age to the early medieval period, providing insights into the region's prehistory. The museum's establishment was supported by civic associations aiming to preserve Polish culture and identity during a challenging historical period.
Very nice museum, with interactive elements for kids. Not too big, with our kids we managed to see all in 1-1,5h. On Saturday entrance is free

Good little find. Plenty of ancient artefacts ranging from mammoth tusks to Egyptian artefacts very well set out. I went with my disabled sister and the access can be a little restrictive would be better at the other door at the back. But all in all some good items to see and goes through all the different human eras. Good job
Knobby — Google review
Interesting museum holding the only Egyptians obelisk in Poland. It hosts five permanent exhibitions which deal with the archeological finds documenting life in Poland, but the most interesting to see artifacts are those discovered by teams of Polish archaeologists in Sudan and Egypt. These are all marked with English language tags and plenty of explanations, they look very modern, very well curated. The Polish stuff feels dated and it seems it comes from the Communist era. Also not all of it has English tags and explanations. It's free on Saturday
Klaus W — Google review
Very nice and small archaeological museum, based on Egyptian history and early Polish state. Early history of Poland is not covered enough and the main exibition is based on Egyptian history (and the early history of Sudan, during Egyptian rule) and artifacts that are in a museum's possesion. Also, there is an exibition of first human settlements in Poland followed by the migration of Slavs and subsequently formation of an early Polish state.
Daniel H — Google review
This has got to be one of my favourite archaeological museums ever. To be fair I have never been to an archaeological museum before this but I have been to museums with dedicated sections for archaeological artefacts and this museum in Poznan stood out. They didn't have a huge collection but they had a compact, well-curated collection with a well thought-out narrative. There were four divisions (permanent exhibitions) at the museum when I went there about three weeks ago- one was on the prehistory of the area of Poland, one was on Old Poland, one on Egyptian civilization (they had a really awesome collection of artefacts- not many but quite a few good ones) and artefacts from Sudan, explaining the Numibian civilizations. I forget the time period for the last one. Anyway, I hope this will be of help. Ticket was 10 Zloty if I am not mistaken but I think the price is on their website.
Aayati S — Google review
Very bad museum with no informative value. None of the exibits in the display about Polish history had any description - i was in shock that someone can lead a museum to such a miserable state. Visitor can only quess what they're looking at. Collection is also very small so the entrance fee is a steal. Also - there was no information about place of discovery of items and no dating. Absolute rubbish. The only descriptions I've spotted were in the rooms with African artefacts, but even there, the situation was confusing: descriptions were on a plaque outside of glass display case, but there were no numbers that would allow us to pair description with exibits. You had to guess what is what.

Avenida Poznań is a bustling shopping center located in the heart of Wielkopolska's capital. Spanning three floors with a total area of 60,000 square meters, it houses over 200 stores and 30 dining options. The center offers convenient parking with 1,500 spaces for motorists and free parking for cyclists. Additionally, it provides direct access to the Poznań railway and bus stations. Visitors praise its cleanliness and diverse shopping and dining choices.
A good shopping mall with the convenience of having the Poznan Main Station located basically underneath. The shops you can find cover the majority of needs, there's also a big hall where you can sit and eat from many of the most known fast foods. The mall can be reached with both busses or trams and it's not that distant from the city center.

Beautiful mall, three levels, very clean. Just like any mall, it gets busy and very packed, specially on the weekends. There’s a bus 🚌 and train 🚊 station connected to it, so you will have to pay for to use the bathroom.

Big shopping mall with connection to the main central train station Poznań. Spaces to relax and charge mobil phones. A lot of restaurants/cafe/ eatery
John K — Google review
The shopping center is conveniently located with a train station directly on the other side of the building, making it highly accessible. However, it’s disappointing that all toilets require payment, which feels outdated and inconvenient for visitors.
Alim — Google review
Great location, close to the bus/train station, large with a huge variety of shops. You need to pay for toilets which doesn't make sense. As of October 2025, 3zł
Subertub ! — Google review
I don't understand why there's a MALL here that charges for the toilet and closes before 20:00 😳 Ridiculous. Better take away the bus station from it. This is the first mall I've been to that shuts out clients with black stripes. Why the hussle. Let the mall be mall and the station - separate. This is the only place I didn't like in Poznan - the bus station.

The Museum of Musical Instruments, located in Poznan, Poland, is a must-visit for music enthusiasts. It is the only museum of its kind in Poland and the third largest in Europe. The museum boasts a collection of over 2000 items from around the world, including music boxes, barrel organs, gramophones, and violins. Visitors can also explore relics related to Frederic Chopin.
Tuesday free museum day, this museum showcase alot of old pianos, musical boxes and different countries, types and sizes of musical instruments. Is an eye opener for music lovers.
Mindy L — Google review
We tried to come a couple days ago but it was closed for a few days so was happy when we were finally able to visit today as it was something i was looking forward to see as a former musician. An amazing collection of musical instruments from around the world and across centuries. I would give the collection 5/5 (apart from at least one instrument is labeled incorrectly). But unfortunately it's the staff that let the place down. From the cold welcome to the many staff sat around on their phones which does not look professional. Then you have the staff who follow you around every room like a bad smell without saying a word
Andy C — Google review
An interesting museum, to say the least. A collection of music instruments, divided in sectors depending on their origins. The tablet - earphone presentation gives a nice touch to the tour. Musician or not, you will enjoy the visit.
Mike S — Google review
A nice collection of various musical instruments from different eras. The 2nd floor has a collection from different countries around the world. A recommended place to visit in Poznań if you have 1 or 2 hours to spend
Dwaipayan G — Google review
Very interesting museum with different and unique instruments all over the world, not only from Poland and Europe. I was impressed of thus variety and never seen lots of these instruments in my life. Also the building itself is very beautiful inside, as it's located at Old Rynek Square and seems to be historically important.
Alesia G — Google review
This place is an absolute treasure for anyone interested in musical instruments. The collection arranged over three floors is very impressive. I'm familiar with all the instruments that make up our European Orchestras, but you have music instruments from around the World in different sections of this collection e.g. India, China, South America. I mean have you heard of a Gottuvadyam or a Mayuri Veena !!!. I also loved the collection of old "musical boxes" on the Ground Floor. You can also pick up an "Tablet with Headphones" at Ticket Office. For many of the instruments displayed you can then play a piece of music that demonstrates it's sound aswell as read the text for that instrument. In the Menu options you can chose English. I really enjoyed my time here.
Miles M — Google review
I have been there two times. This precious museum was founded in 1945. In the museum, I had the opportunity to see musical instruments belonging to my own country and other parts of the world, as well as Chopin's piano. People who go to Poznan should visit this museum..
Aytac A — Google review
Οκ museum but the staff doesn't speak English, is cold, and follow you around as if you're a felon. Also not helpful at all on easy things they were asked to help with, plus the guiding app on the tablet they give you is super buggy, crashes and is not helpful at all.

Muzeum Martyrologii Wielkopolan Fort VII Wielkopolskiego Muzeum Niepodległości is a haunting yet well-maintained museum that serves as a reminder of the suffering and atrocities that took place there. While primarily in Polish, it offers an English guidebook for comprehensive historical context. The fort's history as the first German Death Camp in Poland is thoughtfully presented through curated exhibitions. Additionally, there's a child-friendly pathway for families to explore.
I can't recommend this placemuseum and citadel enough. It's a great preserved place with tonnes of history ,facts,pictures,movies,items.etc. It's a must see when you are in Poznań. Free parking and tickets cost next to nothing (around 1.20 euro adult).

Amazing museum and an important part of history that should not be forgotten. The museum offers a snapshot into the life of the many people who lost their lives here. It can have a very emotional effect on you if you take the time to read and learn about the history of the first natzi death camp.

Eerie place, I visited on. Sunday morning and was the only one there. Everything is in Polish so as a foreigner you will hardly understand anything concrete apart from the main fact that a lot of people have suffered and died there. Even so, the visit is worth it even if the place is located pretty far on the outskirts as its' existence is a testimony to one of the most gruesome things the last century has experienced

🕯A must-see for visitors in Poznań. It’s not as well known as the Auschwitz concentration camp but it’s still a very interesting place to visit and equally important to remember. The prisoners were mostly Poles from Poznań.

6zl entry fee to a beautifully presented museum. Take advantage of the app for a guided tour of the site it really adds to the visit. The history of the area and the Polish freedom fighters is full of stories of bravery and the horror of their treatment in the hands of the nazi invaders.
Taggart N — Google review
The place was closed when I visited (Friday 30.7.2013, afternoon). Even though there is a museum, it is renovated at the moment with the support of European Union funds. Unfortunately for foreigners, there is zero information available in any other language but Polish available outside. I could not find any on-site signs nor website in English or German. That is surprising, given the fact that this site was - according to Wikipedia - the first concentration camp that Germany esablished on Polish territory after the start of WW2. This is very different from the other mass killing memorial sites in Poland. Hopefully, it will be open to visitors next time I visit Poznań.

It houses a remarkable collection of Polish literature and frequently hosts exhibitions and literary events that book enthusiasts would find appealing. The spacious and serene atmosphere, along with helpful multilingual staff, makes it welcoming to foreigners. The building's neo-classical design in the lively Plac Wolnosci adds to its allure.
Wonderful space! A quick, free and super friendly registration process is required, but then all the facilities are openly available. From a climatized reading hall with giant windows and cute little lamps to a chill space for hanging out with co-visitors to the usual rows of magnificent books, movies, maps and newspapers - this library has it all and welcomes all. City Defense Walls, dating back to the 12th or 13th century, were dismantled by the Prussians in the late 18th and mid-19th centuries. Remnants of these walls can be seen in certain areas with informational signs marking their original location. The site is now part of a small green area and is not heavily frequented by visitors. Despite this, it's intriguing to imagine what life was like within these walls and contemplate their historical significance.

(Translated by Google) Fragments of reconstructed old city walls from around the 13th or even 12th century. The walls were dismantled by the Prussians because they basically ceased to be important and did not give the city any greater chances for development. They started in 1797 and finished around the middle of the 19th century. Here and there on the sidewalks in the area you can see signs with information about where the walls used to be. In front of the walls there is a tower, which is also a reconstruction. Generally, there is a small square here and next to it there is a monument to Roman Wilhelmi, an actor born in Poznań. It's not far from the Old Market Square. The museum occupies three floors and has quite an interesting exhibition. You can go up to the observation deck by elevator or the old-fashioned way by stairs (on each floor there is a countdown of how many steps are left 😅). Visitors can explore the museum's extensive collection of weaponry from various periods, including clothing from World War II and guns from both Germany and the USSR.
Spectacular display of local armor, amphibious, air defense, artillery and aerial combat equipment. Has small arms and uniforms inside. Unfortunately does not allow pets. Sad face; they could have allowed dogs outside.

Small, as far as military museums go but with a solid collection of WW2 small arms, ammunition and military material. Laid out in a nice fashion but with a lack of explanation or description in much of the collection. Externally there is a good collection of Soviet equipment and aircraft to interest one familiar with the use of the items on display. Some of the external description plaques need some TLC also. Overall a solid foundation that is worth a visit for the military enthusiast.

Great museum of WWII+ split over 2 sections/ buildings. Display of helicopters/tanks/ APC/ aircraft/ jeeps and guns of all types. Some of the uniforms and weapons looked in great shape. We enjoyed it and it didn't take that long to go round, unless 1 of your party loves to read and look at each display item!!
George N — Google review
Wonderful small museum with interesting collection of small arms guns grenades mortars uniforms bullets and a working tank periscope that you can try out. I wish the barn doors were open so you can see the tanks outside using the periscope. The sign says they keep it closed on hot sunny days (it’s was sunny in the morning then cloudy rainy when we came). Outside you can see a few tanks in front of the entrance for free. Inside the gates area you’ll find Howitzer, mortars, anti tank guns, anti aircraft gun, a SCUD missile, more tanks, old fighter jets, bombers, anti aircraft missile and more. We spend an hour there with small kids looking around. Could spend more if you want to read about everything. 15 pln for adults. Kids are free up to 7 years old. We didn’t book ahead just walking at the Citadel park then playground then restaurant then this museum.

Amazing! There is so much to see here: 2 indoor areas with displays of uniforms, weapons and gear in the citadel; an outdoor display of tanks, jets and helicopters, a large cemetery with different sections and a beautiful park. The variety of objects on display in the citadel was impressive, and the way it was presented was very well done without being overwhelming and chaotic. It was very interesting for people of all ages and I’m very glad we chose this museum!
Caroline S — Google review
Such an interesting museum, with lots of high quality exhibits inside with more bigger scale tanks and aircraft outside. Entrance was supposed to be 12 zloty, but it was free on the day we visited. 12 zloty would have been great value anyway for this brilliant museum.

Important: the location on the map is not where the museum is. The location is probably just the nearest car drop off and parking area. You have to walk up a number of stairs to get atop the hill, past the citadel obelisk and then you'll see the actual citadel that houses this museum. It has its own entry as the armament museum on Google maps and should be combined as this entry is a duplicate.

Poznań City Hall, located in the Old Town Market, is a must-see attraction in Poznań. The highlight is the daily noon event where two mechanical goats emerge from the clock tower and playfully butt heads, paying homage to an old city legend. Despite some negative opinions about its operation, the City Hall is housed in a beautiful building that was formerly a Jesuit Monastery at Kolegiacki Square.
Nice city Hall in the lovely city of poznań, must see in poland.

I did my erand but my general experience is still not very good. Every time it changes to a bit more positive but too many 'communist ' type officers work here and too much of unnecessary bureaucracy to solve anything

(Translated by Google) If we could give this institution zero or minus stars, we'd have -100,000 or more. But as you can see from other reviews, no one at this institution seems bothered by poor reviews! Shameful! Since March 2020 (the beginning of COVID), we (Poznań City Hall, ZDM, with the help of the Łazarz Housing Estate Council) have been trying to repaint the paid parking zone (PZP) lines in front of our gate – widening the entrance/exit by 50-60 cm. See the photo – not a big deal, right? Unfortunately, the people parking don't respect the lines, nor do they have the imagination to suggest leaving some margin for those entering and exiting the gate. You might think that administrative institutions, financed by taxes from residents and local businesses, should serve us and try to solve our problems. But that's probably utopian. The office exists for itself and its inappropriate regulations. And there are no people there who serve the residents. I have a whole box and drawer of correspondence on this matter. It's been going on for five years... and they know where we are ;-) (Original) Gdyby można dać tej instytucji zero lub minusowe gwiazdki to uzbierałoby się z -100k lub więcej. Wstyd!!! Od marca 2020r (początek covid) próbujemy (Urząd Miasta Poznania, ZDM, pomoc rady Osiedla Łazarz) doprowadzić do przemalowania linii strafy płatnego parkowania (SPP) przed nasza bramą - poszerzyć wjazd/wyjazd o 50-60cm.Zobaczcie zdjęcie - not a big deal, prawda? To chyba jednak utopia . Trwa 5 lat... i mają nas wiadomo gdzie ;-)

(Translated by Google) I arrived with my wife and daughter for her master's thesis defense and parked next to the Adam Mickiewicz University building in a paid parking lot because the disabled parking space (my wife's) was occupied. At City Hall, I learned I had to pay a fee, even though it's not required in other large cities. Despite having a disability card and not being able to use a suitable parking space, the city of Poznań is exposing disabled people to additional costs. This appears to be either discrimination or contempt (as in, being a centaury) on the part of the city authorities. Very unkind.

(Translated by Google) I came to Poznań out of curiosity – mainly to try the famous St. Martin's croissant, which is so much talked about. Unfortunately, I was met with a huge disappointment. I visited several pastry shops and restaurants, and in each one I was told that croissants were only available around November 11th. In one pastry shop, I was even laughed at when I asked if they had them. Frankly, I don't understand this attitude – in Krakow, you can eat an obwarzanek any time of year, in Toruń, you can always buy gingerbread, and in Zakopane, oscypek. So why can't you try the local specialty, which the city is so proud of, in Poznań? To make matters worse, I was also charged a fine for not having a parking ticket on the weekend. Upon entering the city, there was a clear notice that the paid parking zone applies from Monday to Friday. As it later turned out, there's an exception in the city center, where payment also applies on weekends. Honestly, I've never encountered anything like this before. I feel simply misled. After this visit, I have the impression that Poznań isn't a tourist-friendly city. Instead of hospitality and a local atmosphere, I encountered only unclear rules, a lack of available regional delicacies, and rude service. It's a shame, because the potential is great – but for now, I have no desire to return. Zamiast gościnności i lokalnego klimatu spotkały mnie jedynie niejasne zasady, brak dostępnych regionalnych przysmaków i niemiła obsługa.

(Translated by Google) It's a shame that the city is permitting a concert lasting three days with noise levels exceeding healthy limits. If the Better Sweet Festival, held at the Citadel from 5 p.m. on Friday, can be heard from the windows closed, from early morning on Friday, and then for the next three days, then something is wrong. Why doesn't the city care about the residents' comfort? It's a long weekend; it should be peaceful; people want to relax. This isn't the first decision whose consequences have violated residents' rights. Wolności Square, located in the heart of Poznan, is a bustling hub filled with various attractions and activities. While it may not boast Renaissance buildings like its counterpart, Old Market Square, it compensates with other impressive sights. The square features the stunning Raczynskis Library, which draws inspiration from Parisian architecture. Visitors can enjoy the modern glass fountain and numerous food and drink stands that create a lively atmosphere.

The square is surrounded by both old and modern buildings. The space is very pleasant for walks, offering a mix of architectural styles. Hotel Palazzo Rosso Old Town is a stylish boutique hotel located in the heart of Poznan's Old Town. The historic building offers well-appointed rooms with exposed 17th-century brickwork, providing views of the city's colorful Renaissance buildings. Guests can enjoy the on-site Italian restaurant and bar, as well as a courtyard and terrace. The hotel also features a varied buffet breakfast served in its restaurant each morning.
Very helpful staff, nice decor, lovely breakfast. The rooms were clean and ok size. The pillar in the middle of the room was a bit on the way, but I understand that’s probably necessary future, not too comfortable pillows and two beds put together. Also did not hear the outside noises from the busy area of the Market Square, but the walls are pretty thin and could hear the neighbors and everything going on the hallway. Definitely loved the location 🫶🏻

Perfect location for Poznan. Impressive renovation for a such a genuine heritage building. Innovative design, excellent quality for finishing and materials. Great staff, delicious breakfast, perfect accommodation just in the middle of the old City. Walking distance to the main square, restaurant and night life. Despite of the vibrant center city life, quiet place. Nothing to complain about, this is that kind of hotel which is a great place to be back.

Perfect location, literally a 30 second walk to the square. Lobby area was nice and the hotel were happy to store luggage if needed. Room was clean and comfy, with a mini fridge and safe in room. Bathroom was good size, only thing to note was that shower head didn’t stay attached very well but water pressure was really good. Would recommend for a comfy stay in Poznan.

I stayed at the hotel in a Deluxe Room (or Twins Room), but the experience was disappointing. The room was not suitable for three people as expected, and the cleanliness did not meet acceptable standards. There was no air conditioning, an unpleasant sewage smell was present, the sink was clogged, and the shower drainage was not functioning properly. Moreover, the hotel management was not serious about finding a proper or reasonable solution to the issues we reported, which made the experience even worse. I do not recommend staying at this hotel under such conditions.

This hotel has an amazing location, right next to the Old Town – you really can’t get any closer to the heart of Poznań. The atmosphere is super cozy and the place has such a unique style, it almost feels like staying in a boutique hotel. Because it’s in the center, you can definitely hear some noise from outside, but that’s part of the charm if you want to be close to all the hustle and bustle. The only downside for me was that my room didn’t have power outlets by the bedside tables and there were no USB/USB-C ports, which would be really handy these days. Still, that’s a small thing and it didn’t change my overall experience. I really enjoyed my stay here and would happily come back next time I’m in Poznań. Thanks for the great visit!
Artur R — Google review
Sadly this was not a good experience. Nobody told me upon arrival that there was a blackout blind that allegedly reduced noise from the street but even with my own earplugs in use, the noise until 4am (on a Wednesday?!) was such that I couldn’t sleep at all until the local nightlife shut down. If you’re in rooms 109/209/110/210 expect noise and disruption. You can also hear people talking in the neighbouring bedrooms. Although the staff listened to my concerns the next morning, they were not minded to offer any discount or refund, given the bad experience. The room was, otherwise, perfectly fine for the price paid.

Great location. Hotel is 5 min walk from old town. Perfect. The rooms. We started in room 2 the first night. The curtain didn't close properly. I'd imagine that'll be fixed by now. It was also quite sheer so it was bright very early. However, the lovely staff moved us the next day to room 3. There was plenty of space for 2 open suitcases in both rooms. Breakfast was great as you could order cooked food as well as the open buffet style food. Staff were lovely and helpful. My feedback to the hotel would be to upgrade the curtains to block out. Overall, good stay. 7/10.

Each room has a unique theme, inspired by a different country. When we arrived, several rooms were available, so the staff gave us a little tour and asked us to choose which one we preferred. All of them were great, but the one we liked best was a little bigger than what we had booked, so they gave us a free upgrade just because. We also got welcome drinks and some cookies on the way out. Everything was very clean and the rooms were quiet at night. The location is great - 5 minutes away from Rynek. Overall, we got much more than we paid for and will definitely return if we happen to be in Gdańsk.

Located within the square, the Military Museum of Wielkopolska is one of several museums in the area. It boasts an impressive collection, although many of the exhibits are not accompanied by English translations or translations in other languages. This museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts visiting the region.
I have no words. The museum was so historical and so cool! The entrance price for it was ONLY 1zł! So cheap for such art! There was basically the whole history of Poland military. As I'm writing this, the museum opened a couple of weeks ago. There are currently 2 floors in the building and there is NO WAIT TIME, so its pretty convenient. It's located in the middle of the city and it's convenient for tourists, the city itself is popular for it's history. Sadly you can't purchase anything in there, because there isn't a shop in the building, but I would recommend going there in groups, because it's worth it! Love to the people working there! Special thanks to #GidasMarius for the opportunity!

The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located within the grand neo-Romanesque Kaiserhaus, offering a museum that details the workers' movement. The parish priest is highly regarded for his warmth and openness to various movements in the Catholic Church, providing support and spiritual advice. Additionally, Deacon Walery is noted for his personal charm and appeal to young parishioners, while Father Michal's demeanor has been subject to criticism.
(Translated by Google) An original church in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful sermon by an older priest. I am glad that I had the opportunity to participate in the Eucharist in this church. (Translated by Google) I don't like the fact that the priest talks about politics during mass. Priests should be impartial and not spread the propaganda of any political party and belittle the experiences and trauma of victims of sexual violence at the hands of those whose mission is to help others. I was very disappointed. This behavior only further drives people who are still left away from the church.
Ket N — Google review
(Translated by Google) The church is very nice and well-kept. The parish priest is open and kind to people. However, there are a few disadvantages and they concern issues that have not changed for years, and are quite important from the point of view of celebrations in the parish, where there are many elderly and sick people as well as young couples with children. The key issue - no toilet available!!! Parents have to leave the church with their children and look for bushes. Older people and people with health problems also need to look for other solutions in this regard. Another thing, during the week apart from Holy Mass. there is practically no contact with the parish. Nobody answers the phone, you can't reach the parish outside the opening hours of the parish office, which is absurd. Outside Mass hours there is practically no possibility of any contact with priests, no e-mail, no telephone numbers, no one answers the intercom, etc. On Sunday there are two masses for people who want to pray in peace after a whole week of work - at 7:00 and 8:00, so if someone works late on Saturdays or night shifts, they probably won't get enough sleep. Apart from these two masses, the next ones are: 9:30 for young people, 11:00 for children, 12:30 baptism and the only afternoon-evening mass until the end of June 18:30 Roman canon for people with a strong bladder and high thermal resistance, because in hot weather For days, no one wants to open the windows and doors before the mass to ventilate the church, and the mass in this canon lasts an hour+. I propose to postpone this canon to 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning and announce it publicly that this mass lasts longer - then people who are not so strong and families with children who, for various reasons, cannot attend mass at 11:00, they will be able to freely participate in the only afternoon-evening mass on Sundays a year.

(Translated by Google) A lovely parish priest, open to various movements in the Catholic Church, warm towards people. Priests in the parish give lively, not high-flown lectures from the pulpit. I recommend it to anyone who needs spiritual advice, support, good confession or is looking for a place in a community within the Church. (Translated by Google) No, I recommend it! Everyone praises the parish priest for being kind and nice to people. I don't like priests who allow people to be witnesses who consider themselves non-believers and give bad testimony with their lives. They don't go to church, they don't receive the sacraments. For me, it's not the goodness of my heart and openness... it's just money... In addition, following a friend every year throughout the parish. In many parishes there is a divided tradition, with Kaplan coming every two years. He doesn't focus on sitting for 3 minutes, collecting the envelope and moving on. This is a visit where you can sit down calmly and talk to the pastor without asking for an envelope. In Zegrze, a Christmas carol is a rat race for the envelope! There was a time when Father Szymczak engaged other priests to go to church. There are many other parishes that have great pastors. Priests are open to parishioners and supportive when needed. Once upon a time, a long time ago, I had the opportunity to meet Father Szymczak and stay there for a while. I know many priests and parish priests and I can definitely say that Your parish priest Szymczak is not up to the standards of some people! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 (Original) Noe polecam ! There will be a place for both children (Toddler Club, children's club, playground) and adults (Seniors Club, Language School, prayer groups such as the Neocatechumenate, Knights of Columbus, Helpers of the Mother of the Church, rosary group and many others). In addition to the love and help shown to all those in need, the parish priest takes great care of the beauty of the church and the entire surroundings (I have never seen roses that smell so beautifully as those growing near the church). (Original) Parafia p.w.

(Translated by Google) Praised be Jesus Christ and forever! Mary. Due to the change in the staff of priests (a harem of powerful berets - with me as the leader), I am obliged to issue a new opinion. Starting with the youngest... Deacon Igor switched places with Valery. It looks like a child. He seems nice, but it's obvious he's shy - No me gusta. The only thing he needs to change is his glasses. I don't like the fact that he is the only one who leads the rosary and does not participate in the evening masses. Wojciech... What can I say... I don't remember his name... So Sad life. Interesting priest. He has a slightly scary look, which certainly won't charm the parishioners unless they like bad boys. I guess he felt a bit too attached to the parish. Similar to Deacon Valery, who is unfortunately no longer with us, which I greatly regret because, as everyone knows, he charmed me. His head hair disgusts me, you can see the airport and runways appearing on it. He inflicts strange penances. Non troveremo un accordo. Father Szafran - a nice man, but too youthful, he does not use a language that is understandable to us - the older generations, e.g. What kind of word is that anyway??!! He has a strange head, he is not involved in the parish. He has a handsome beard, like one from the Orthodox Church. He has a nice hybrid car, he keeps up with the times, people now value ecology! Father Irek changed his car - it is no longer as prestigious as the previous Seat that each of the priests had. He doesn't pronounce "er". He is very handsome and sexy Father Jacek - in memoriam, God bless you for his soul among the choirs of angels at the right hand of the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ King Emanuel 🐡 Father Heniu SZYMCZYK, the oldest priest, lets himself get carried away with what is the main flaw, he is a very dignified boy, he looks sexy in this coat and I have the same opinion as in the previous opinion. Father I have no objections to it. He sings for a long time - that's the only aspect I can fault. He walks tilted to the right and wrinkles Attention BONUS!!!! The organist is truly an ideal person, he doesn't drag on, he plays nicely, he sings, he's nice, he's a conversationalist, he's perfect for both dancing and praying the rosary. The best of the best! Two church ones. First the older one. A man with a name associated with Valentine's Day, Szymczyk, a bit sluggish, similar to his brother's eyes and walking style, thin, taciturn, and when he does speak, it's hard to understand anything. A hardworking man. Mr. Does doesn't do much, he's lazy, but he has a big heart and nice hair. You can joke, friendly. Maura Wilk 🐺 (Original) Niech będzie pochwalony Jezus Chrystus i na zawsze! Maryja. Wojciech... Cóż powiedzieć... Nazwiska nie pamiętam... So Sad life. Najlepszy z najlepszych! Kościelnych dwóch. Najpierw ten starszy. Saint Martin Residence by Y3 Hotels is a top-notch accommodation option in Poznań, offering spacious and well-equipped rooms with excellent noise reduction. The hotel's central location allows easy access to various tourist attractions, nightlife spots, and amenities such as tram stations and grocery stores. Guests can enjoy the convenience of on-site wellness facilities including a gym and sauna. The attentive staff provides exceptional service, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for visitors.
Location 11/10! Big rooms, fully equipped with kitchenette, which is a huge plus. All well designed and cozy. It feels like a hotel but also a little like in an apartment. I really enjoyed our stay and I will for sure we back. A small minus, no designated parking, only public. But nearby are shopping malls where you can park. So no big deal. And we had a tiny hiccup with the wifi not working in our room, but apparently its a new system and will work soon properly. Otherwise - 10/10

Great experience overall. Stayed in the executive suite. Well appointed, two level apartments. Breakfast has to be ordered a day before. Clean and neat.

No hot water from check-in until late at night — I had to shower in cold water (apparently due to construction work in vicinity, but no notice to guests!!!). No phone in the room, no hairdryer, and very basic amenities (just hand wash, 2-in-1 shower/hair wash, and lotion). Bedding: one pillow each, thin duvets, washed out linen. Room had a smell. Bathroom smelled of mould, everything painted black except for shower floor, will not be able to see the mould anywhere on the black surfaces!!! shower glass to short, water spilled out over floor. Room “blockout“ curtains to small. Woken at 5 am by tram noise. Laundry area was dirty and washing machines used for dirty hotel cleaning cloths. This is not luxury — more like a 3-star hostel. I cannot recommend this property to anyone expecting luxury, comfort, or even the standard amenities one would normally associate with a true 5-star hotel.
Ina M — Google review
It’s a shame because the location is great besides the two construction sites right beside the building so I woke up at 6:30 am to drilling. Just a few points about why I am dissatisfied and disappointed I booked this hotel: - I had to ask them every day to clean my room. That’s not proper hotel service. - the one girl at the reception is very unfriendly. She even gave the key to my room to another man when I gave back that key to the cleaners telling them I wasn’t changing the room. Then we blamed me, saying I told her I changed my room to 43 - the key card stopped working 3x times and the phones don’t work so you have to go to the reception every time - the dryer doesn’t work - the sauna doesn’t work. The one girl told me it was broken for one day and when I sent the next day the unfriendly girl told me she would turn it on at 9:30 and when o went it said “out of service” - this is NOT a 5 star hotel. Save your money and go elsewhere. There’s many hotels in old town on a central location.

Perfect place to stay, very modern and spotlessly clean. Location to main square is within a few minutes walk. Perfect in every way.
Karen J — Google review
The best thing about this apartament (because it's not a hotel) is definitely the location – super central. The rooms look stylish at first, but they're not the most practical. the shower setup is a bit awkward, and since everything is black, you can see every mark or missed spot, cleaning could be better, honestly:( Also, no need for morning alarm – the construction noise outside will do the job for you! There's a sauna, which is a nice bonus, though I didn’t end up using it:)
Yol M — Google review
Without a doubt the most wonderful place to stay in Poznan. Foremost I must appraise the reception, the tree gems of Saint Martin. They will go above and beyond to make your stay the very best. The rooms are large, well equipped and so comfortable, also with the noise reduction. Very clean and high standard. This is where you really don’t need to bring your own shampoo because the quality is better than what you usually meet at hotels. Location is perfect, we found so much that met our needs quite close, and the Old town is litterally one street away. We will come back to this huge find of a hotel.

Absolute must see and must stay. Awesome two level room with nicely equipped kitchen and two showers. My request for more coffee in the morning was taken over brilliantly for next mornings. Only a parking garage under the place would improve my rating and maybe a visible sign outside.

The Ethnographic Museum has its roots in the Ethnographic Society, established in Poznan in 1910. It was founded by Helena Cichowicz and her daughter Wieslawa, who began collecting ethnographic items. Their dedication led to the opening of the first exhibition in 1911. The museum features a diverse collection, although there are relatively few items from Poland or Greater Poland specifically. Additionally, there is limited English information available.

It's a place for reflection and silence, where visitors can listen to their own thoughts without prejudice.

Catholic church
Historical landmark
The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Mary Magdalene and St. Stanislaus is a stunning Catholic church in Poznan with a pink facade that dates back to the 1600s. It is the second largest church in the city and is renowned for its priceless 19th-century organ. The basilica showcases beautiful Baroque architecture and has been recognized as a cultural treasure on UNESCO's world heritage list.
The Parish Church of St. Stanislaus, or «Fara Church», is an impressive Baroque church in the old town of Poznań. The church was built between 1651 and 1701. Squeezed between the narrow streets, you have to look for the right place to admire the immense building. But do go inside. It is a church that radiates enormous harmony, even though the church is the work of many Polish and Italian craftsmen. During WWII the church was badly damaged, but fortunately it was completely restored in peacetime and now shines perhaps like never before. The interior is dominated by a lot of red and gold and a firework of decorations. But it all radiates a very well-orchestrated order and symmetry. The Corinthian columns look like marble, but in reality they are made of wood and are exceptionally well painted. The ceiling also features beautiful "trompe-l'œil" paintings, which use clever painting techniques to create an optical illusion. The organ is also a gem and if you're lucky, you can attend one of the many free organ concerts here. According to my guide, these organ concerts take place in July and August from Monday to Saturday at 12:15 and on Thursdays at 20:00. The rest of the year, these concerts are only on Saturdays at 12:15. We stayed at a hotel near this impressive church and we often walked in to enjoy this beautiful sacred space.

I visited the Basilica of Our Lady in Poznań and it was a beautiful experience. The church is stunning both outside and inside. From the moment I walked in, I felt a deep sense of peace and calm. The architecture is amazing — full of detailed decorations, beautiful paintings, and a breathtaking ceiling. The atmosphere inside is very quiet and respectful. It’s a perfect place to sit down, reflect, or say a short prayer. Even if you are not religious, it’s worth visiting just to see the beauty of this historic place. I really liked the lighting inside — it gives the church a warm and peaceful feeling. The organ music playing softly in the background made the visit even more special. It’s also not far from the Old Market Square, so it’s easy to find. The entrance is free, but you can leave a donation if you want to support the church. I highly recommend visiting this basilica when you are in Poznań. It’s one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever seen, and I would love to come back again.

Also known as Fara Church, very grandiose architecture, with bigger than life figures reminiscing St Peter’s basilica. Don’t forget to visit Blessed Sacrament adoration chapel to the side on the far right. Definitely a local gem.
Chris S — Google review
This beautiful basilica, located close to the Old Town, looks stunning from the outside, with its white and light red colors. Inside, it is dominated by shades of red and gold, and everything is arranged with great symmetry. The columns appear to be made of marble but are actually crafted from wood and well-painted. Overall, it’s a very beautiful basilica and definitely worth seeing.
Mateusz R — Google review
Having seen many cathedrals, I didn’t find the exterior particularly striking—but the interior more than made up for it. It’s truly stunning and well worth a visit if you're in the area. We stopped in shortly after the goat show in the town square and were fortunate to hear the organ music start—it added a wonderful atmosphere to the experience. I highly recommend taking the time to visit.

A stupendously stunning church. Baroque maxed out to an extreme. Marvellous design, brilliant execution. A definite masterpiece.

A magnificent church of the baroque style of the 17th Century. The interior is animated with beautiful stucco is an artistic paradise. The 19th Century organ is an amazing instrument that is another artistic masterpiece.

The Museum of the History of Poznań is a beautiful institution with rich history that is on display for tourists in the town hall. The museum has many interesting exhibits that cover a wide range of Poznan's history, from prehistoric times to present day. The interior of the building is stunningly decorated with colorful paintings and intricate carved woodwork, and features a magnificent neo-Gothic clock tower.
An interesting town museum with an eclectic mix of local history through the ages. Information is in English and it does involve some stairs

As for the actual museum, the Saturday free days AND visits to the historic rooms are over. Poked around looking at a few artifacts, done in 10 minutes.

The town hall museum has quite a lot to discover. It's also free to visit on Tuesdays! There's a great exhibition on the history of Poznan, and especially the history of the town hall building, to be seen. Including a torture chamber, city plans and maps, and the clock tower goats to see up close! I quite enjoyed perusing the exhibition.

The Museum of the History of Poznań is fascinating! It gives a detailed look at the city’s past with engaging exhibits and interactive displays. Friendly staff and a well-organized layout make it easy to explore. Poznań Old Town is charming, full of colorful historic buildings, lively cafes, and beautiful squares. The Town Hall with its famous goats is a must-see, and walking around the cobbled streets is a delight. Both the museum and the Old Town offer a perfect blend of history, culture, and atmosphere.

The townhall in Poznan is so beautiful and amazing, because there is a lot of sculptures, paintings, fresco. And what very liked me, it is the man who playing on pipe. It is going on every hour. And every hour on townhall tower ringing bells. It is something incredible. At evening there is lighting colourful lights and it is seems like cathedra. I was liked this town for his soul.

(Translated by Google) This church is the first in Poland under the patronage of St. Joseph, it was built in the years 1658-1687 according to the designs of famous architects Krzysztof Bonadura the elder and the younger and Jerzy Catenazzi. A significant part of the original equipment of the temple was destroyed over the centuries, as it had a turbulent history. The current inventory mostly comes from 1984, when a major renovation was carried out here. An interesting fact is the chapel of Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn, whose altar was built from elements of a dismantled fireplace from the Imperial Castle and the specific color of the stained glass windows, giving the interior an interesting atmosphere (Original) Kościół ten jest pierwszym w Polsce pod wezwaniem św. Obecny inwentarz w większości pochodzi z 1984, kiedy to przeprowadzono tu kapitalny remont. Ciekawostkę stanowi kaplica Matki Boskiej Ostrobramskiej, której ołtarz zbudowano z elementów rozebranego kominka z Zamku Cesarskiego oraz specyficzny kolor witraży, nadający wnętrzu ciekawego klimatu
