One of my favourite restaurants in Poznan! Food is great, service is attentive, ideal place for a special occasion as it does not qualify as cheap, but it is worth it!

A New Favorite with Exceptional Food and Service This restaurant may just be my new favorite! The setting is cozy and comfortable, creating a warm, homely vibe. The music was a bit loud and not quite the right fit for the ambiance, but it wasn’t distracting enough to overshadow the experience. The staff was absolutely outstanding, catering to our every need with genuine warmth. They engaged thoughtfully about the food and wine, elevating the entire dining experience. However, one minor letdown was the complimentary Prosecco offered upon arrival—a lovely gesture, but we were surprised to see it on the bill without prior mention. It’s not about the cost, but the lack of transparency felt slightly disingenuous. The food, however, was phenomenal, with not a single disappointing bite. The chanterelle cheese dumpling starter, a decadent twist on mac and cheese, was a fantastic way to begin. The Polish żurek soup was perfectly balanced, not overly sour, and a table favorite. For the main course, the pierogies with bean filling were good, though not the highlight, but the homemade dough and sauce were exceptional. My lamb and potato dish, served with a beef-au jus, was a standout—the lamb was cooked to perfection, melting under the knife, with just the right amount of seasoning. The creamy, flavorful au jus elevated it further. The potatoes… well there are potato dishes and there are potato dishes! This was the latter, just extraordinary. I couldn’t resist ordering an extra side of just the potato with that incredible sauce. For dessert, the apple pie with ice cream, encased in a tower of apple butter and confectionery delight, was pure nostalgia, evoking childhood memories of fall days. The price tag is Hefty but this meal was worth every penny. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Poznań, this restaurant is a must-visit! 11/10

Though the food was delicious and atmosphere was just lovely, I think this restaurant gets too much praise. Everything was right on point, fresh and tasty, I would call it a masterpiece. Our starters arrived relatively quickly, but for the main dish we waited almost an hour. The “winter tea” was underwhelming. For our main courses we all got some delicious pieces but they really weren’t award winning when it comes to their taste. Of course they were good and as you can see beautiful but nothing spectacular. Normally I would give such a place 5 stars but I honestly expected more for such highly praised place with prizes and all. Nevertheless I still recommend coming to this place since it offers honestly nice atmosphere and really good food.

This review is a little late in coming, but deserves to be shared. In August I was looking to find a nice restaurant for my parent's 45th wedding anniversary. After very rudely being turned away from or not receiving responses from restaurants in the city center in Poznan, I went with one of my original choices, A noz widelec. The restaurant was very accommodating and able to take an extremely last minute reservation, even offering a private dining area. Everything worked out perfectly. With the location away from the business of the city, we were able to enjoy a lovely clandestine meal with close family and friends. Service was perfect, knowing just when to step in without hanging over our heads, no loud music drowning out conversations, and the food speaks for itself! All were in agreement that the overall experience was some of the best we have had! Thank you!!!

One of the best restaurant in Poland. Polish cuisine on the top level. Everything is just amazing and delicious, basic on the fresh and local ingredients. Chef and his Wife are such a nice and warm couple, always happy and ready to talk with guests. We love this place.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This Gem of a Restaurant in Poznań was recommended by a friend for our anniversary diner and it did not disappoint at all!! The service was impecable. From the moment we arrived and their service throughout the evening it was spectacular!! The dishes were all amazing and so tasty! Kudos to Chef Michał K. And his staff. We will be back for sure.

very nice place! as starter a mushroom soup and a kind of foie gras pate. delicious with a wide range of taste within one bite. the home onion bread was very good as well. as main course, we had some pierogi (best i had in poland) and dumpling with mushroom. i really appreciated this dish as well. finally as dessert, we had apple pie and chocolate sphere. very good again! approximately 30e per person wirh tip and without wine. worth based on my experience. side note: parking easy access, nice service and nice coffee

We have tried dumplings in different cities of Poland and this is the best we have ever tried Nice dough, juicy fillings, mouthwatering sauces Not to mention the best view watching the church and bridge at the corner Highly recommended

What a wonderful place with tasty food. We ordered 3 types of boiled pierogis and all of them were perfect. Chicken liver, russian and cabbage with mushrooms all of them with fried onion on top what was just perfection. 3 types of sauces to go with that. Amazing, soft dough. If you are in Poznań this is a place to eat! Clean and stylish place with nice and clean toilet. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices! DZIĘKUJĘ!

Great place for lunch, both baked and boiled dumplings were delicious. Baked dumplings cheese potatoes and basil. Boiled chicken liver dumplings and cheese potoes😋. The beer was also smooth. Quite a good lunch crowd. Nice view of the saint Peter n Paul church

Best pierogis we’ve ever had. We ordered the boiled pierogies with chicken livers (rich & delicious), and the baked pierogis with chicken, sun dried tomatoes, & gouda, which gave us calzone vibes, yet crispier. So so good. The garlic sauce was divine - very garlicky and creamy. Cannot wait to return to Poznań so we can eat here again.

Perfect place to Go! It was a recommendation of our tour guide. We had a very good beatroot carpacchio as a starter and mixed baked dumplins as a main course. Local brewed beer from the owners friend made it Perfect. Even if it is a moment to Walk from the city center, it‘s absolutely worth.

I am/we are (we were unanimous in that matter) absolutely delighted. I can't point what was the best that evening? The little surprise to open our taste pallets from chef? The atmosphere that even knowing we are in top restaurant we didn't feel like we don't belong there? The service was excellent!!! The lady explained every single dish for us. I could almost see the fisherman on boats with the sea food, the rabbit jumping in green grass and more.... The taste, the colours, the execution of every dish, the smile of waitress.....everything was top notch. Whether you going on date or with your family, this is the place you go to treat yourself. Thank you for having us and making that evening memorable for a very long time.

Cucina 88 was very good. We were there on a day the head chef wasn't there, and we could tell; nevertheless, a very good experience. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The pours were generous, the additional oyster starter excellent. I'd be happy to go back again.

We stayed at the city Park for 3 nights, went to this Restaurant on the first evening and came back every day. Simply because it was so good. Great food, good service even if something goes wrong they do their best to fix it fair prices. The pumkin soup with chestnuts was amazing. Presentation, quality and taste is definetly 5 stars.

We had a new year's Eve dinner, which was 6 courses menu. All the staff were extremely friendly and dishes were top notch! Next morning, we also had lunch as the restaurant is located in the hotel. One of the best quality restaurant in Poznan. Highly recommended to visit

Lovely place on a building site. I hope we will laugh looking at those construction photos soon. The queue is a proof that they are doing something right. Go and check yourself! You won't regret it if you like high quality ice-creams.

Flavour and texture of the ice cream is not bad, but honestly I expected more based on the reviews and also the price of the ice cream.

Lovely cafe. Cozy atmosphere, warm lights and jazz music. Is perfect for everybody. The waitress serving me was very polite and patient with the fact I speak no polish at all. No matter what she served me with a smiley and friendly attitude. Coffee is nice, they have oat milk as plant base option. Had a hazelnut cheesecake. Really nice. They also have a small selection of coffee beans and equipment. Coffee lovers, pop by!

It’s a little compact cafe BUT with yummy food & fabulous service👍 I liked the gentleman who took our orders, very nice fella who explained menu and was smiling . I think everything about this restaurant was top notch! I was busy during the day and didn't have time to change to a nicer outfit or to make a reservation but really wanted to at least try if I could get a table. I was greeted by a super friendly female staff who sure enough thought they could fit me in and later got a male staff who served and helped me through the evening. I decided to take their "chef's pick" of 10 course meal and also their chef recommended 6 glass wine combo that was taste adapted for the 10 course meal. Everything was incredibly good, good food, well-adapted wine and good service where you also got background information about various dishes. As you can see from the name, this was a restaurant with a big focus on cheese. So all dishes had some element of cheese. The 10 dishes consisted of; 2 appetizers (gruyère & Polish 5 star caviar), 2 starters ("gravat" & cheese toast, 2 main courses (blue cheese risotto & blue potatoes + wild boar + red currants & truffles), 1 "palate cleanser" (passion fruit ice cream), 1 sweet dessert (lemon cheesecake), 1 cheese dessert (I chose Polish cheeses) and 1 praline dessert. I have zero complaints and wish to return to this restaurant when I return to Poznan.

I was drawn in the place by its Michelin mention and strong reviews here on Google. While there were definitely high points, especially in the quality of the food, I left with mixed feelings, mostly due to the pacing of the meal, which significantly impacted the overall experience. We chose the 8-course/experiences tasting menu, expecting a well-curated journey. The amuse-bouche and wine arrived promptly after ordering, but we then waited 25 minutes before the first appetizer appeared - a surprisingly long pause, especially considering that no bread or small bites were offered in between. From ordering at 20:00 to receiving our first main course at 21:10, more than an hour had passed, and it felt like we were simply waiting. Curiously, the service was quite attentive when it came to pouring wine and water - almost to excess - yet no one acknowledged or explained the delays. Once the main courses began, the rhythm improved and the dishes came at a more natural flow. The food itself was skillfully executed - with the exception of one meat course that was unfortunately a bit too chewy for this level. Still, the flavors, presentation, and overall concept were solid. In short, the food is very good, and I can understand why the restaurant has received recognition. But the disjointed pacing and lack of communication made the evening feel less polished than expected - especially given the price point and the Michelin association. A more fluid and thoughtful service experience would elevate this restaurant to where it clearly aspires to be.

The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. We were a group of friends and ordered the cheese board with eight different varieties. While I’ve personally had more memorable cheese boards elsewhere, that’s not to say this one wasn’t enjoyable—it certainly was. Taste is subjective, and preferences vary, so others may find it perfect for their palate. I did feel it would have been even better with the addition of some olive oil and bread, though I’m not sure if that’s typically included on the menu. I also tried the tiramisu. The flavor was decent, though not quite what I would traditionally expect from a classic tiramisu. It had a unique twist, which some may appreciate, but it wasn’t quite to my personal taste—I likely wouldn’t order it again. That said, I can imagine others really enjoying it, depending on what they’re looking for in a dessert. Despite the slightly warm temperature at first, the staff was very accommodating—our server kindly turned on the air conditioning, which made us more comfortable. Overall, it was a nice experience. I’d be happy to return and explore more dishes on the menu. 🫶🏻🤗

I love this place! It had great atmosphere, great food and great service! We had their testing menu with wine paring and a cocktail - and we loved every part of it. Please go here if you like cheese, but also if you don’t! The cheese wasn’t overpowering, but a nice touch to every dish. The waiter was good at English and took her time explaining a lot. The cocktails were interesting and got served with even more cheesea. Overall I would definitely visit this place again!

Wow! How and where to start from? Our experience at Fromazeria was absolutely incredible! The food was beyond amazing – every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff made the evening even more special; they were so accommodating, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made us feel very welcome. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both exceptional food and outstanding service, but Fromazeria does exactly that. This place is a visualisation of my culinary dream. Chat with a waiter and even a kitchen chef about impresions of food (read art) compositions. Increadible experience in tasteing components and their mixes acompanied with ideally chosen beverages. All proposed dishes thoughtful, wellness composed and above all delicious.

Incredible pastries and coffee! The best pastries we had in Poznan, flaky croissants and incredible bread. The coffee was delicious as well. You can ask for a croissant that comes with butter and jam and then order a loaf of bread and enjoy that with the butter and jam as well. We had one of their pastries with mozzarella and tomato jam that was delicious. A must when in Poznan!

It is a renowned bakery and café in Poznań, celebrated for its handcrafted pastries and traditional baking methods. We had sandwiches for breakfast. Delicious pastries. Coffee cups are all used as recycled from coffee beans, a perfect sustainability.

After a morning stroll we popped in here for breakfast. A good selection of breakfast eggs etc. Paulicarus had an interesting 2 poached egg dish with a tomato based sauce on top, grated cheese and a baguette on the side. Tastey. Booth had a salami roll. I drank good coffee. Lots of cakes on display. A relaxing spot.

I took a regular butter croissant, ten rogal and a tea. Everything was really tasty, the croissant near the quality of a good French bakery. I also took a French baguette before leaving, probably the best I've had in Poznań yet. I definitely recommend and will gladly come back!

Start of the day with coffee and croissant. We liked it. Pros: 1. Service with smile. 2. Fast service. 3. Nice coffee. 4. Nice croissant. 5. Cup of coffee is unique, light and has nice grip. Liked it. 6. Probably great butter Croissant because they got over before we came. Cons: 1. Butter Croissant gets over quickly.

Great patisserie and greater coffee. The service was also great, except for one of the male staff that was very unprofessional with us, he didn't want to fix a wrong order due to a misscomunication with the cashier. In the end, the male staff went away and the cashier helped us and fixed the order without issues nor added costs for the shop.

Lovely French style bakery in Poznan. Normally, I try to search for regional treats when I travel, but the pastries are good (albeit a bit different from authentic French). Service is lovely. Definitely worth a visit

I was quite disappointed in my stay. Despite the great location, the carpet is dirty, the room smell like smoke, there is no gym, The bathroom is cramped and the fan is loud, and they charge for everything. I forgot my toothpaste and they wanted to charge me for one of those cheap hotel toothbrushes that usually get for free. I won't be staying here again.

Nice hotel, next to the lake with great views. The room 231 was nice and clean, with the beautiful view over the lake. There are many options for savoury and sweet breakfast and even some gluten free muesli, lactose free and soy milk.

Great breakfasts, delicious coffee, fresh food and bread. Clean rooms, electric kettle, instant coffee, tea. Bathrooms with soap and body wash but only 3 towels per 2 guests. Wi-Fi works in some parts of the hotel but disconnects after a few seconds in others. Bedside lamps in some rooms don't work. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend booking online.

Nice hotel, I’d recommend it

We had a 1 night stay at HP Park Hotel and we really liked it. The room had everything we needed, we've got some bottles of water, a kettle with tea and coffee. Beds were very comfortable, room was quite, staff was very helpful. Restaurant with a lake view is amazing: our dinner was beyond expectations. We didn't try breakfasts though. Shower curtain is a bit close to the shower itself, so it was a bit uncomfortable. TV might need an upgrade, and channel list was quite poor: only couple of Polish TV channels, some German and English.

I felt the location for me was great as I was working at Malta Park which was only 5 minutes walk. Service at the hotel was good with a clean and comfortable room. With the lake right next to the hotel the evenings were nice for a walk. There are also two major shopping malls within 20 minutes walk from the hotel and good access to tram stops. The centre is about 40 minutes away on foot and around 10 minutes by car and I'd highly recommend a visit to Poznan main square.

Hotel is fine, beds are okay enough. Rooms is having a small refrigerator, desk with chair and a sofa. Breakfast is good, with wide choice of meats, cheese, fish, warm foods and drinks. Next to the hotel a nice lake to walk around

A cosy and nice cafe serves one of the best hot chocolate in the city. There are 2 floors, and it is better to make a reservation in advance if you would like to have a window seat. Quite full when arrive there around 5pm. People keep coming. Hot chocolate is very good,creamy and rich. There are classic hot chocolate or special ones with chilli powder. Also they provides hot chocolate with liquior.

It was okay, nothing much is super. Price is quite high expensive for the ice cream!

The hot chocolate here is to die for !! I had the Amerykanski which was delicious, my friend had the Aztecka which in my opinion was a little too spicy but the additional desert that we ordered balanced it out. We were lucky to come here early, the place gets packed very fast so reservations are necessary if big groups plan to come here 😉.

We just stopped by for a lemonade during our walk. The staff was very kind and helpful. It’s a great place, full of things and an endless variety of options – maybe even a little bit over the top. But I really liked it here.

The place has an exquisite decoration. The food is amazing and the Sangria is very tasty (must try!). The only downside is that you gotta guess if you can sit down or wait to be seated, which means (in our case) we spent few minutes standing in the middle of a heatwave waiting to know what to do before we could sit. Family friendly place, not if you are afraid of wasps since there are a lot of plants inside and right behind the sits, lots of flowers.

What a lovely and unusual restaurant. It looks like a greenhouse from the outside and inside is a quirky and beautifully set out restaurant, that's full of plants...and there was even a friendly cat. Food and service are excellent and I'd recommend the pizzas and mixed eggs/ham with dressed salad. All our food was delicious and portions are generous.

Loved the food! It's honestly the tastiest I've had in a long time. Everything on my plate was delicious. The chef is perfectionist, as 3 of our dishes were all equally amazing. As per service, it was slow...nice, just quite slow. Atmosphere was nice. Grest ambiance and cool nature vibes, but the falling wild fruit on the floor that ppl step into and attract bees, not so cool. Overall, I would still recommend very much for the delicious food.

A very small family owned restaurant with polish food. Wonderful !

My partner and I traveled from Berlin to Poznan just to eat some good Polish Pirogi. At this place we were totally happy and satisfied. The pirogi were superb and raves of them even a few days after. Of course they were much better than this from a bigger place at the Rynek. The staff was friendly and tolerant about our not so good Polish language skills. Next time we will go there again.

Pierogarka was the best small restaurant that I ate at in Poznan. The potato pancakes with goulash were amazing. Fast and friendly service. I highly recommend that you stop here for a quick lunch if you are in Poznan.

If you want to eat some of the Polish traditional food you should try PIEROGI. This is one of the best places in Poznan to try that. Small, always fresh. Cozy.

A great place with a very rustic atmosphere, just what you need to enjoy a plate of Pierogi.

Nice cafe. The interior looks very comfortable, with lots of seats. The coffee is nice too and they roast their own beans. But the prices are on the high side. Sure it's inside a hotel, but I paid 14zl for a double espresso. Whereas in other places you pay 8-9zl.

Ordered a soup and biriyani. The biriyani rice was good but the pieces of chicken were not cooked properly .. the big ones were just raw inside .. couldn’t eat the chickens.. and then comes the soup.. the chicken in the soup were not fresh .. It was so smelly that i was unable to eat .. my husband asked them that if the chicken were fresh or not. They said yes but i dont think so .. i am disappointed

It's relatively new restaurant. Food quality is quite good and service is also very nice. The restaurant is new doesn't have heating system yet. I hope they will solve heating issues soon.

madras chicken curry was so-so, too greasy. it was easy to see oil on top of curry and on the bottom of the bowl when we finished it. it shouldn't be like that.

The food was fine – a big plus is the option to try a mix of both savory and sweet dishes. Taste-wise, it was good. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired – the waitress was not very friendly, we didn’t really get along, and she didn’t bring exactly what we ordered. The beer was also disappointing, none of them tasted good. Overall, we’d rate the place as average – the food is okay, but service and drinks definitely need improvement.
