Laura's Café is a charming rooftop café located in the heart of Pushkar, offering stunning views of the lake. The blue and white building exudes simplicity and homeliness, providing a perfect setting to soak in the essence of the city. The menu features a variety of tasty vegetarian dishes including salads, stuffed peppers, aubergine dip, crepes, and Italian cuisine. Visitors can also enjoy refreshing smoothies, juices, or iced coffee while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
We really enjoyed our time at Laura's café, where we had lunch on the amazing terrace. We had hummus and falafel - they were super good, and also a very fresh watermelon, mint and ginger juice. Very recommended! Alessia & Evelina

We had a wonderful dining experience at Mr. Tiwari’s restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The pizza was perfectly baked with a crispy base and just the right amount of toppings. The Alfredo pasta was creamy, comforting, and cooked to perfection. The highlight for us was the Nutella shake – rich, smooth, and naturally sweet without any added sugar, which made it even more enjoyable. Mr. Tiwar’s warm hospitality added to the overall charm, making us feel truly welcomed. A great spot for anyone looking for delicious food with genuine service. Highly recommended!

It was recommended to us by a friend so we went there and Had Margarita pizza and trust me it didn't disappoint, t was the best pizza i have had in a long time. Bhaiya(the owner) was also very sweet and the service, quality everything was great.

This is a lovely and well located cafe. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The coffee and chai are lovely. We ordered pancakes which were a little dry, but the staff offered us plenty of fruit, Nutella, and honey so it was still a very enjoyable breakfast. I would have loved to try lunch here but we were not in pushkar for long enough! The best thing I had was a smoothie with pineapple, pomegranate, and mint. It was so refreshing!

The place is amazing, it has a great view on the lake and mountains and the guy is very nice! Very good food and ambient I recommend to enjoy a meal on the rooftop!

A nice cozy rooftop setup, ghats can be overlooked from the top. The entrance door is a tiny little passage in main market. Seating is peaceful perfect. We ordered a salad and a pasta. Both the things were nicely served and cooked. Good portion sizes too

I’ve been to this café multiple times — probably 10–20 visits by now — and it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, no matter what you order. The Italian sandwich is a must-try, but honestly, almost everything on the menu is tasty. They have so many great options to choose from, and the quality stays top-notch every time. Definitely one of my favorite spots! ☕🥪✨

I loved the kitchidi, childa the gluten free bread, porridge and the apple pie, you have Indian and western food, the veggies, fruits and salads get washed by purified water, the pizza & spinach cheese crepes tastes also great. 100% recommendation! Feels like home. Thank you Shakti

This place truly lives up to its name — a peaceful rooftop retreat with beautiful ambience and cozy, colorful seating. The greenery around adds a calm, refreshing vibe. The food is 100% vegetarian, well-prepared, and reasonably priced (₹200–400). Service was quick, and the staff were polite and attentive. Perfect for a relaxed evening, casual meetups, or even a quiet solo meal. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

This place is a hidden gem! The location is simply breathtaking with stunning views that elevate your dining experience to a whole new level. The food variety is impressive, and each dish is crafted with such care and attention to detail — clearly, the chef is a seasoned professional who truly understands customer preferences. Despite being a high-end restaurant, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, comparable to regular eateries in the area — making it great value for money. I tried the special Anoop Khichdi, and I must say, it completely blew me away! Flavorful, comforting, and cooked to perfection — it’s now one of my all-time favorites. Exceptional service, warm ambiance, and incredible food — I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience!
Mukesh K — Google review
Amazing location with a great view, great variety of food. The cook is definitely professional and understands every customer’s needs. Although the restaurant is a high end , still the prices are just on the same rate like the regular restaurants around. I ordered a special (Anoop) kitchry, and was amazed how good it was. Will always come back again.

Coffee Temple is a picturesque dining spot, especially in the summer with its outdoor seating that exudes beach vibes and offers exotic cuisine. Nirvana Cafe and Pizzeria provides a lively setting for friends to relax in the evening, offering dine-in or take-out options. Meanwhile, Cafe Lake View offers a cozy terrace where guests can savor traditional dishes with a modern twist. While the coffee at Coffee Temple is decent, it's the stunning views of Pushkar Lake that truly set it apart.
Good vibes with a nice view. I had an Oreo shake with Soy Milk which was nice in taste, however, my friends mentioned the coffee was only okay. It’s average in terms of cost and the staff was polite. You can expect it to be a little busy even in the day. You could come here to read, work, or watch the sunset.
Kanika S — Google review
This place has a really high potential. Coffee is amazing, Müsli with Curd was huge and also very tasty and the view is outstanding. Very calm atmosphere. Only negative point is the fact that they have only one bathroom which was in quite a bad state when we were there. Please keep this bathroom clean - especially for women that bathroom was almost unbearable. Maybe it was an exception that's why a won't give this a bad rating.
Louisa H — Google review
Good food, good coffee, and good service. The view of the pushkar lake is awesome. A perfect place

Decent coffee with a lively atmosphere and nice views across the lake. We didn’t eat any food, but it’s Italian & Lebanese dishes, if you’re curious!

With its stunning views and inviting atmosphere, this cafe offers a perfect escape for those looking to unwind while enjoying delicious food and beverages. The menu features an array of culinary delights that cater to various tastes, making it an ideal destination for both casual diners and romantic outings.
Best for sunset time and food and drinks are amazing traditional food drinks lemon nana ice tea
Rakesh M — Google review
WORST STAFF The staff is the rudest. Especially the main waiters in blue dress. Won't even cater to you if you're an Indian, while constantly lingering around the foreigners, bootlicking them for their smallest needs. We called them twice to take our order, multiple times before to clean the table but to no avail. It was heights when they snatched the menu from us when we hadn't even placed the order to give to a new foreigner group who just came and sat right next to us. Embarrassed ang angry, we got up and left. Food options were also over priced. The only good thing was the location. Even the washroom tap wasn't working. Pathetic
Priya S — Google review
The rooftop is very bare....I think its not really used much. But view is great. We only had drinks so can't comment on food. Service was great.
Jane K — Google review
DO NOT GO HERE. WAITER TRIED TO STEAL FROM US. Food was actually pretty good, but it took a long time to get. Drinks were hit and miss first one was OK then the second lemon Nana was a chuck of ice and a wilted mint. The sunset view is nice but honestly don't go here better you just sit in the park. The waiter tried to rip us off!! We asked for separate bills and he came with one bill, didn't want to show us the bill and made up fake prices. We called him out on it and got our money back and told the boss. They all acted unsurprised like it happens all the time. Better off eating somewhere else!!

Pathetic Food, the only thing which benefits the place is their location and view. If you are visiting the cafe/restaurant with the thought of having good food. Please don't waste your time and money. I visited two days in a row and ordered different food items and was disappointed.

We forgot to take a picture of the food because it looked so good 😅 The atmosphere at place was very calm, the lake view really added to the experience. All of the people working there, from the manager to the waiters were very nice and helped with a smile. And most importantly - the food was very tasty and good. We had the Allo Chole, Allo Gohby, Malai Kofta, Paneer butter masala, Jeera rice and Garlic Butter Paneer. Really recommend it for any one that looks for good Indian food at Pushkar.

Savitri Mata Temple, located in Pushkar, Rajasthan, is a captivating Hindu temple perched on a hilltop. Visitors can reach the temple via a cable car or by trekking up the ascent. The temple offers breathtaking views of Pushkar Lake and the town below. Dedicated to Savitri, Lord Brahma's first wife, it holds historical and religious significance. Other notable temples in the area include Ramavaikunth Temple and Varaha Temple.
One of the best places in Pushkar to visit. One has both options either to climb 1000 steps or ropeway ride for ₹180/-. When you reach the top it has lovely view all around. The temple has a very old history and one should not miss if you are in Pushkar.
SAURABH S — Google review
Savitri Mata Mandir is a beautiful temple located on top of a hill, offering one of the best panoramic views of Pushkar town and the holy lake. The temple has a peaceful aura. If you enjoy hiking, the uphill walk at sunrise or sunset is a wonderful experience, with cool breezes and scenic landscapes. Although the ropeway makes the climb easy for those who don’t want to trek, it was closed when we visited the temple, and had to climb around 970 stairs to reach the temple which took around 45 minutes. The temple itself is simple yet divine, and the view from the top is absolutely worth the effort. A must-visit when in Pushkar. Please note that temple remains closed from 12 pm to 2pm. So, plan your hike accordingly.😊
Suvojeet M — Google review
Two ways of reaching the temple: ropeway and stairs; ropeway takes 180 pp (two way). The place is peaceful with an amazing view of the entire town.
Khushbu M — Google review
A visit to Shree Savitri Mata Mandir was one of the most unique experiences we had in Pushkar. We climbed all the way up to the temple on foot – about 940 steps leading up the mountain. The climb isn’t easy, especially since the steps near the top are uneven, and some are even broken or damaged, so it’s important to walk carefully. Still, the effort is absolutely worth it – the view along the way is breathtaking, offering wide desert scenery and a stunning view of Pushkar town and the sacred lake below. Towards the end of the climb, we encountered many monkeys, and some of them come quite close to visitors. It’s highly recommended not to hold food in your hands and to keep a safe distance from them – they can be curious and playful. Despite that, the atmosphere throughout the hike is peaceful and special, and reaching the top brings a real sense of accomplishment. The view from the summit is especially beautiful at sunset, when the golden light colors the hills and the town beneath. It’s best to go on a clear day to enjoy the scenery to the fullest. Our walk took about 35 minutes at an easy pace, with a few stops for rest and photos. A truly recommended experience for anyone seeking a mix of spirituality, nature, and a light physical challenge.
Alon T — Google review
Visiting Savitri Mata Temple was a spiritually uplifting experience with breathtaking panoramic views of Pushkar. The temple, perched atop a hill, requires a steep climb or ropeway, adding adventure to the visit. The peaceful aura and divine energy of the temple make it worth the effort. Watching the sunrise or sunset from here is truly magical. It's a perfect blend of devotion, nature, and scenic beauty.
Vnomad — Google review
This is one of the best hikes I have done in India . Hike is big , neverthess it has proper stairs ; so you won’t slip , or will have your legs dirty . For old people - they have a Ropeway . You will be greeted with lots of monkeys and lots of breathtaking views of pushkar city , on this hike . At end you will reach the temple . Hiking down is same experience amazing .

The Savitri Mata Temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan, is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Savitri, the first wife of Lord Brahma. Perched atop Ratnagiri Hill at an elevation of about 750 feet, it offers panoramic views of Pushkar Lake and the surrounding town. The temple holds deep spiritual importance, symbolizing devotion, penance, and marital harmony, and is closely linked to the Brahma Temple in Pushkar.

Rangji Temple is a stunning example of South Indian architecture and Mughal design, making it one of the top places to visit in Pushkar at night. This 18th-century temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu's incarnation, Rangji, and features a monumental Gopuram and expansive entrance reflecting Dravidian architecture.
It's a Vishnu temple located very near to lake. Hidden gem I would say, You would resemblance of south Indian temple architecture. You will see pictures of south India there. Very calm opposite to hustle and bustling of Pushkar.

Ancient temple of lord vishnu . Temple's architecture was in South Indian temple style mixed with mughal design. Temple is closed during afternoon time and opens after 3:00 pm. Museum is also there in the temple and visit charge is only 20rs per person. Mandala design on the floor looks more attractive.

Best spiritual place The temple is constructed South Indian style gopuram
Rakesh B — Google review
The Rangji Temple in Pushkar is a hidden gem that feels like a slice of South India dropped into the heart of Rajasthan. It’s rare to find Dravidian architecture here in the north, with its soaring gopuram (gateway tower) drawing eyes from afar. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s avatar, Ranganatha, the temple was constructed in the 19th century by a Hyderabad nobleman, blending southern traditions with Mughal and Rajasthani styles. The temple’s vivid sculptures, delicate marble pillars, and intricate frescos bring stories to life, making it feel like a journey through myth and history. The sanctum, framed by lush greenery and a serene pond, invites calm reflection and quiet moments. Rangji Temple’s cross-cultural design and tranquil vibe make it an essential stop for travelers in Pushkar, offering an unexpectedly vibrant contrast to the surrounding desert landscape and a beautiful pause in an otherwise bustling pilgrimage town.

Pushkar Camel Fair is more than just a gathering of camels and horses. It's an opportunity to explore the tranquil town, from its bazaars and Ghats to the holy Pushkar Lake and the country's only Brahma Temple. Visitors can also witness mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets over sand dunes, savor diverse cuisine at lakeside cafes, shop for silver jewelry and traditional clothes, capture vibrant village life through photography, and experience local art performances.
It's in the month of November, it's a 20 days festival... dont expect more.. you only found worth is there culture... if you are from Mumbai,Delhi, Bangalore, kochi,Chennai... this pushkar is 5 to 8 year back from you they are running behind you.... so when you get there you will feel nostalgia.... there will be so many camels horses, shops etc etc.... people will ask for money if you are a photographer... and it's just for there living... not only there people always ask for money on north Indian states...and if you are there for camel safari, please dont do that.... its worthless.. you better go to jaisalmer for that.... from pushkar festival if you are a photographer you can get so many potraits there.... better take room little far from there it will be better ,so you can explore the streets also

Pushkar Camel Fair? After reading about and seeing those colourful pictures of the Pushkar Camel Fair on Google, I decided to pay extra to go to the 2024 Pushkar Camel Fair. We saw a lot of horses. We rode in a very "touristy" cart ride drawn by camels. But the colours and the fair-like atmosphere that were advertised - well, we did not experienced them.

What a great experience the Pushka camel fair. From camels to horses from grossly deformed cows to cobra snake charmers the Pushka camel fair has it all. Don’t leave it to the last few days as the camels run out …. literally .

There is no animal fair, only jhula and jhula. Animal fair ground is about 3 KM away
Ankush N — Google review
Amazing experience of the Rajasthani culture and folk dance. The main attraction of this fair was the camels and their caretakers. Usually they don't ask you for money for a picture, but some of can ask you about money or charge you for a picture. So be humble with the caretakers and animals while you're going to shoot them with camera and accessories. Also they're so friendly, so be polite
Tarun K — Google review
Nothing fair here. Worst place, this is animal abusement - camels and horses in such bad condition!! Don't support that, so don't ride them!!!

Good place for tourists and travel photographers.

The Pushkar Fair, also known as the Pushkar Camel Fair, or Pushkar Mela, is a colorful and vibrant display of unique exhibitions, exciting competitions and fascinating events. Extending to seven days, this annual camel and livestock fair, held in the town of Pushkar between the months of October and November, draws a large number of crowds. Besides, this fair is renowned for being one of the world’s largest cattle fairs. Apart from its celebratory aspect, this wonderful event also possesses a religious significance. Over the years, the fair has found an honorable mention in Rajasthan Tourism

Hindu temple

In the town of Pushkar, Rajasthan, lies the Varaha Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu's third incarnation, Varaha. Built in the 12th century by King Anaji Chauhan and later reconstructed in the 18th century, it features intricate stone carvings and statues. The temple holds historical importance as it was destroyed by Aurangzeb and rebuilt by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II.
Located in the quaint town of Pushkar in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, the Varaha Temple is dedicated to one of Lord Vishnu’s most famous incarnations. Lord Varaha is worshipped in the form of a boar deity that presides over this incredible temple. Varaha Temple’s location in Pushkar is of considerable significance too. The town is incredibly holy for both Hindus and Sikhs. As a result, thousands of devotees from across the country visit the Varaha Temple to offer their prayers to the Holy Lord every year. The story behind the presiding deity Lord Varaha is narrated by priests of the temple and locals alike. When the demon Hiranyaksh tried to sink the earth beneath the water as a part of his shenanigans to irk the gods, Lord Vishnu incarnated as a wild boar and saved the earth on its horns. He fought with the evil Hiranyaksha for thousands of years and later brought the earth out of the cosmic ocean, thereby restoring peace and prosperity as it were. As a saviour of the world, Lord Varaha is worshipped by those desiring wealth and wanting to escape the unforgiving cycle of life and death. This temple is often thought to be one of its kind since there are no other notable or significantly large temples of the Varaha form of Lord Vishnu anywhere else in this world. You may visit this place for a truly insightful experience of the ancient Hindu scriptures of Vishnu Purana and Dashavatara Katha.

Varaha Temple is dedicated bhagwan shri vishnu, Temple is looks very old and much of attractive but it is slightly ignore by the pushkar authority. Surrounded by residence also not properly maintained by authority, gives you good vibes. All of you are requested must visit here so that authority make pay some attention to renovate it. No washroom, no proper parking, no drinking water also.
Hemraj S — Google review
this temple is truly rare, dedicated to the varaha (boar) incarnation of lord vishnu. according to mythology, lord vishnu took this form to rescue the earth from the demon hiranyaksha, who had dragged it to the underworld. the idol is unique — it shows the boar’s snout with a silver disk representing the earth, symbolizing how vishnu sniffed out the earth before lifting it back to the surface. what’s surprising is that this temple is still managed privately by a family for generations, without any government support. considering its rarity and significance in indian mythology, it deserves much more recognition and care.

At a distance of 500 m from Pushkar Bus Station and 600 m from Pushkar Lake, Varaha Temple is one of the largest and ancient temples located in Pushkar town of Rajasthan. It is a Vaishnava temple and also one of the famous temples in Pushkar. The Varaha Temple was built by King Anaji Chauhan in the 12th century AD and is dedicated to Varaha, the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple was destroyed by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and was then rebuilt in the 18th century by Raja Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur. According to a legend, Lord Vishnu turned himself into a wild boar and came to earth, to kill the monstrous demon Hirnayaksh, who was going to destroy the whole universe. Varaha slew the demon and retrieved the Earth from the ocean, lifting it on his tusks and restored Bhudevi to her place in the universe. It is one of the most visited temples in Pushkar. This is a fortified temple in Pushkar and is considered to be the most ancient temple in the city. The temple has 2 feet white idol of Lord Varaha in the sanctum sanctorum. Various sculptures, elegant carvings, life-size statues of door men and gold-styled pillars depicting Garuda, the mythical bird are situated within the temple. Timings: 6 AM - 12 PM & 4 PM - 8 PM

It's an old and temple of Varah avatar of Vishnu, in the form of a wild boar. Varaha is generally listed as third in the Dashavatara, (the ten principal avatars). This temple is considered to be the most ancient temple in the city. The temple has 2 feet white idol of Lord Varaha in the sanctum sanctorum. Various idols including Shiva, elegant carvings, life-size statues of door men and gold-styled pillars depicting Garuda, the bird are situated within the temple. There is a family that lives inside, nice people.

Very old temple. Mostly people had tiled names of thier near and dear ones in loving memory.
Surjeet S — Google review
This is one of the most rare temples, of the varaha (boar) incarnation which lord Vishnu adopted to bring back earth from the clutches of the demon Hiranyaksha, who had sent it down to hell. The idol is unique: You can see the snout of the boar, with a silver disk representing the earth on it, symbolizing gow lord Vishnu sniffed until he found earth and brought is back up. The temple is managed by a private family since generations, with no assistance from the government. Strange, given how rare this temple is, and such an interesting part of Indian mythology!

Varaha Temple in Pushkar (Rajasthan) is a Hindu temple dedicated to the 3rd incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is one of the oldest temples in Pushkar and it is located very close to Pushkar Lake. The Pushkar Varaha temple is also included in the Swayamvyakta kshetra list of 8 premium temples where the deity is believed to have self-manifested. The best time to visit the Varaha Temple is in the month of Kartik i.e. Oct/Nov. Timings: 6:00 AM to 12 Noon and then from 4 PM to 8:00 PM. Varaha means “Boar”, a wild boar(pig with tusk). Lord Varah’s idols represented with the head of a wild boar and the body of a man. It is said that when Lord Brahma performed yagya at Pushkar lake, Lord Varaha acted as a protector of Brahma & yagya from the demons This temple is not well protected by the government or the archaeological department. It is encroached upon by the locals and one lady lives inside the temple premises who discourages visitors to visit here.

Went there for a couple of hours, ended up spending the entire day. The location is great and the host is very warm and welcoming. Food was not the best but liked it. Seemed more affordable than other places around.

⭐ 5/5 I recently visited Mama Roof Top Cafe in Pushkar for brunch and had the Paneer Cheese Paratha along with Masala Chai—both were absolutely delicious! The paratha was perfectly cooked, generously stuffed, and full of flavor, and the chai was the perfect complement.
