Rajasthani restaurant
Family restaurant
The Trio Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Jaisalmer, offering a diverse range of cuisines including North Indian, Rajasthani, Chinese, and continental dishes. The rooftop setting provides charming views of the fort and an opportunity to savor traditional dishes like tandoori thali. This age-old restaurant exudes regal charm with its high ceiling tent and windowed walls that overlook the old bazaar.
A very beautiful place with great food and a rich menu. The atmosphere in the place is good and pleasant, and the service is excellent. Before we arrived, we called to reserve a table, but when we got there, the host claimed he hadn’t approved the reservation (even though he had), and his attitude was unpleasant. However, he eventually seated us at an excellent table, and we had a wonderful time. Overall, aside from the experience of arriving at the place, everything was excellent.

The restaurant is very simple. Interior wise. The service is good. Not very impressive as I had ordered bajra Roti, but they forgot and they got the plain roti when requested and reminded they said that they forgot and made few excuses upon my request. They provided, but overall, the experience was good because the food was just awesome. It is very simply located outside the Mandir Palace Hotel. If you want to have good food, this is definitely the place to visit out again. Love to go for the taste of the food.
Anupama — Google review
Located at heart of the city this restaurant provides good food, great ambience and good service. We had the famous Lal maas, it was so good we visited again especially for that the next day. People were warm and welcoming. Prices were decent. Would definitely recommend.
Neha P — Google review
This place was on many websites as a must visit and boy did it deliver. The restaurant is located on the first floor about 15 mins from the Jaisalmer fort. The ambiance is lovely and the staff was polite and courteous. We ordered the thar special mutton and it was delicious. The mutton was succulent and well cooked. The flavours of the ghee and spices was coming through beautifully. We ordered the Naan to go with the gravy and it was good too. For desert we got the caramel custard which was nice as it was not too sweet. Definitely a must visit to try some really good food!
Patricia — Google review
Visited Trio Restaurant for the second time, The service was amazing as usual Ordered Peanut masala to start with which looked amazing and tasted good as well, Later ordered for murgh tikka which looked good but the taste was average, and along with murgh tikka asked for tawa roti. Which was good though the basket of roti had an underlined of tissue which was sticking to the roti because of heat. Would highly suggest to use a similar linen as the napkins for the Rotis.
Prashant M — Google review
Recently visited Trio Restaurant and had an excellent experience. The food was absolutely amazing, rich in authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff was extremely professional and courteous throughout. The ambience is aesthetic, with a perfect blend of traditional Rajasthani charm and modern comfort. The rooftop seating offers a beautiful view of the fort, adding to the overall dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in Jaisalmer. Will definitely visit again!
Upender Y — Google review
Trio is one of the best restaurants to dine in Jaisalmer. Lal Maas and other local cusines are delicious. Nicely perched overlooking the Nachna Havlei and Mandir Palace. Superbly located in the city Centre.
Sushant G — Google review
We stayed at Trio Haveli and also wanted to try it's restaurant. You can read my review of Trio Haveli also. The Trio Restaurant is in main market & parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is just adjacent to mandir palace (ITC welcome heritage). It was christmas day when we visited, not too full and seating was easily available. Food took some time to arrive. No major complains. We had heard a lot about laal maas, but didn't find anything spl. and also appeared that food colouring has been used. The soups ordered were not upto the mark. Naan & other items were ok. The Christmas cake was complementary, kids liked it. As the main sitting area is not on ground floor, those having knee or other walking issues will have difficulty. That's common issue across Jaisalmer.

The restaurant is known for its delicious Korean dishes like bibimbap. With its panoramic view of the city and fort from the fifth floor, Gaji's provides a unique dining experience. Additionally, it offers homestyle Rajasthani thalis served in a cozy setting with turban-clad staff and an opportunity to bond with fellow diners.
Nice place..loved the ambience and City view! Food was good too. Jamssed ji served us our food. Nice man. He told us stories of the city and was quick to provide good service. Good hospitality even though it was off season. The Korean menu seems interesting. Is on my list to try the next time I go!

Food quality is awesome. At nominal prices. The behaviour of staff is very polite. Actually this is a hotel and we reached its restaurant around 11pm. Usually the restaurant closes at 11 pm but then also they welcome us and served us food with no compromise in the quality. Their service is really awesome. And our experience in Jaisalmer is great. Local people always ready to help the tourist.

The Korean dishes like the famous Sushi and Kimchi were made really well. Kimchi was literally AMAZING. AWESOME would be an understatement. Their location also provides an amazing panoramic view of the city, making Gaji’s a go-to for both its rare Korean fare and rarified atmosphere. Tasty sushi and fresh Korean food. High quality considering we're on the far side of India! Staff are friendly and not pushy. It's a great spot for the sunset - it was funny to watch the crowd at sunset point right behind us.

Located near Sunset Point, Gaji's Restaurant features a full menu of delicious Korean dishes, which you’ll have a hard time finding elsewhere in most Indian restaurant scenes. . They offer several Chinese and Japanese items as well, along with a few Indian delicacies, but they really shine in their Korean dishes like the famous Sushi, Kimchi and the bibimbap – a signature Korean dish served as a bowl of warm white rice, topped with soy sauce, soybean paste, and any variety of meat, egg, and vegetable ingredients. . Their location also provides an amazing panoramic view of the city, making Gaji’s a go-to for both its rare Korean fare and rarified atmosphere.

Desert Boy's Dhani is a charming Indian vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Jaisalmer, offering al fresco terrace dining with traditional decor and cultural performances. The rustic setting resembles a traditional rural village, complete with thatched huts and low seating under starlit skies. Guests can indulge in Rajasthani cuisine while enjoying engaging puppet shows and live folk music and dance performances.

“A lovely place to enjoy good food, excellent service, and beautiful surroundings. A must-visit spot for anyone exploring the desert.”
Ravinder B — Google review
The ambiance and traditional Rajasthani setup at Desert Boy’s Dhani were lovely, and the food tasted good overall. However, our experience could have been better. The service was a bit slow, and the portion of dal served with each plate was quite limited. When we requested a little more, we were told it would be charged extra, which was disappointing since dal is a key part of the meal. We had ordered 5 Dal Baati Churma plates but received only 2 papads, and even those were not full pieces as mentioned. It would be nice if the restaurant improved portion sizes and ensured consistency between what’s promised and what’s served. Overall, the food was tasty, but the service and quantity management could definitely be improved.

Vikram Singh served us. We ate one of the best Daal Bati Churma in Desert Boys Dhani. Vikram was very polite and hospitable. We wish him the best in life

I being a pure non vegetarian, if was asked to eat in a pure vegetarian restaurant because the food was good, i would have given them a piece of my mind for i haven't tasted any good food in any vegetarian restaurant. But here i really would recommend it to everyone. The food is satisfying to both the mind and the body. Certain things you need to experience rather than reading so come here and experience good food in an excellent harmony with the nature.

Hi, Today we went to this hotel and we had lovely experience there. They served us food "dal bati churma" and it was very delicious seriously. And the best part of it was those little tiny tables. It was such a wonderful place and chutni was very tasty 😋. Thanks alot!!!

We had lunch few times there. The place has an amazing open sitting area which was super enjoyable during January time. We ordered authentic Rajasthani food like Dal Bati, Ker Sangri, Gatte ki subzi etc... The food had little modern touch we could have been avoided to keep the authenticity. The owner Arvind was an amazing host and they took care of all our needs

The manager is very kind and honest. When I go to Jaisalmer , I go to this restaurant always. He is an important friend. The staffs are friendly and helpful. You can get excellent service. I recommend it highly. I remember happy time at this restaurant.

The food was quite good—flavorful and well-prepared, with beautifully presented dishes. However, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. While the entrance was aesthetically pleasing, the outdoor setting didn’t quite match up. The restaurant is located on a rooftop, which could have been charming, but the air felt dusty and unpleasant. As night fell, the dim lighting made it difficult to fully appreciate the food. Unfortunately, the dustiness was quite noticeable, which took away from the experience.
Booska H — Google review
The location and ambience are truly amazing — perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. However, the service and food were a huge letdown. There seemed to be only 2–3 waiters, and they were not only inattentive but also quite rude. We ordered the Jaisalmer Chicken, which unfortunately was served rotten. When we reported it, the waiter didn’t even bother to respond. The cocktail we ordered was also extremely diluted. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Visit only if you’re looking for good pictures, not good food or service.
Arnab R — Google review
The Chicken 65 was drenched in black mustard seeds — not just a bit overdone, it was a full-on assault on the taste buds. Absolutely inedible. Whoever thought that was a good idea clearly has no clue how the dish is supposed to be made. As for the nachos — don't insult your customers by dumping tomato ketchup and calling it salsa. That’s not fusion, it’s just laziness and zero effort. This place has officially killed any curiosity I had about their mutton dishes. If you can’t get basic starters right, I’m not risking anything else. Worse than anything I’ve had in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur — even Jaipur street food joints do better. Avoid unless you're into culinary punishment. #please spare the beer experience #

Jaisal Italy Restaurant offers a unique fusion dining experience, blending the flavors of Italy with the essence of Jaisalmer. Located at the base of the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, this charming eatery provides a refreshing twist on traditional Italian cuisine by incorporating local ingredients and spices into classic dishes. The restaurant features a simple yet inviting interior and an open rooftop area for outdoor dining with views of the fort.
Located Very unusual and hidden gem on the entrance of Jesalmer fort main gate. Exterior Both the dining area inside as well as outside with an enjoyable view of the fort while taking sip of cold drinks in the afternoon or taking dinner at night, beautiful view. Interior Very well maintained and amazingly decorated with arts and wall hangings. 2-3 different types of seating area to enjoy the food. Food We have ordered sandwiches, pastas and cold coffees, Sandwich dressing style is very different and very tasty, The pasta is also well cooked and delicious, Cold coffee was very good in taste Service Service was good and staff were humble and very polite. I strongly recommend to enjoy your meals with a great view of the fort.

Place is situated inside the fort, right after entering from the main gate. Location is great but food was not good at all. We ordered white sauce pasta but the pasta had very bad garlic after flavour and was not edible. Its good place to just relax and sip coffee but not recommended for food.

I had cannelloni with veg and cheese. It didn't have tomato sauce but was very cheesy with a slight Indian flavour, I really enjoyed it. For dessert I had custard with mixed fruit, delicious. A little pricey but good portions and well worth it.

Saffron is a rooftop restaurant located in Jaisalmer, known for its exquisite Indian cuisine and stunning views of the fort. The menu offers a variety of Indian, Chinese, and Italian dishes, with an emphasis on traditional Rajasthani and tandoor specialties. Guests can enjoy a special Nachana thali and other delicacies like roast chicken with potatoes.
It is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The food takes time to get prepared, but the taste is awesome. It has both inside and outside seating arrangement. The seats are quite comfort able. The restaurant is located inside a Haveli which is very beautiful. I would suggest to try out this restaurant if one visits Jaisalmer. The restaurant is on expensive end.
Alok A — Google review
Spacious terrace for a good dinner in the evening N26.916048 E70.910795 Near the western gate on the Gandhi Chowk Square is Saffron Restaurant on the roof of the Hotel Nachana Haveli, a wonderful cozy hotel with many courtyards and adjoining rooms. The spacious rooftop terrace is partly covered by a tent, but the afternoon heat made it unappealing for lunch. From the rooftop terrace, we spotted a nice shaded courtyard with a water fountain within the hotel grounds in November 2022. After some persuasion, lunch with sandwiches and tea was served in the courtyard, courtesy with good Wi-Fi reception. Staying out of the heat has never been soon comfortable. In the evening, we returned for a generous vegetarian thali dish, not printed on the menu. It was delicious. The many biting mosquitoes diminished the experience, but staff quickly took effective measures. Saffron serves excellent non-vegetarian and vegetarian food. Recommended.
Goyourownway — Google review
Restaurant recommended by Lonely Plant and other guidebooks but quite disappointing. Only a few tables on the open , the rest under a sort of tent , basic decoration and dirty. Food ok ( paneer padlak and mutton with garlic and peppers) with no special interest. Not worth the walk from the fort to the lower city!

Nice restaurent. We ordered pasta for my daughter. It was very nice. Nimbu pani was very very refreshing. Service was good. Price is bit at higher side but quality and Quantity justifies the price. Thanks. Keep serving good food.

It's within Nachna Haveli complex. A 400 year old building made of famous yellow limestone. Slightly on the expensive side. But you get beer and wine. It's on rooftop, offering a gorgeous view of the castle.

Food is delicious, restaurant is quiet and spacious. Prices are quite reasonable, maybe a bit on the higher side. Veg and non-veg. Paneer Mushrooms and Bhoona Chicken (chef recommendation) are super tasty.

If you've had your fill of Rajasthani cuisine and are looking for something different, Free Tibet Restaurant in Jaisalmer offers a unique dining experience. The rooftop venue provides stunning views and a comfortable atmosphere with traditional decor. While it doesn't serve local dishes, it's known for its delicious and affordable Tibetan fare, including steamed momos and Wonton Soup.
The service is great. Food- amazing. We tried Chicken Thukpa and Mushroom fried rice. Both tasted amazing. Infact, the Thukpa was one of the good ones I've had, including those at cafes and restaurants from Darjeeling, Leh and Dharamshala. To top it all, the restaurant is right at the edge, near the canon point. Provides a mesmerising view of the city at any time of the day. Overall, A must try if you are interested in some Tibetan or Chinese. I bet other cuisines must be equally good.

Very basic place near the Cannon Point, a beautiful place with city view. Actually operating from the residence and sit out is planned at the rooftop. The guy was helpful and made good food. Chicken thukpa was good but not among the best. Alcohol is not served. Actually name is deceptive. It’s an ordinary restaurant serving all sorts of cuisine.

Milan Restaurant is a hidden gem with a simple and homely decor, offering traditional cuisine that provides a rewarding experience, especially for meat lovers. It's popular among tourists for its quick delivery and reasonable prices. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes including vegan options, from Tandoor to Kebabs. While the food is undeniably tasty, some diners might find certain dishes unexpectedly spicy.
Found the best tandoori chicken here at Milan! Very well spiced, cooked to perfection and served with an onion and cabbage slaw and a cilantro-lime-cumin green sauce, this is the perfect plate. I ordered naan bread and mix veg to accompany it for 2 adults. The clay ovens are outside, so you can see the chef at work making fresh naan and roasting the chicken as orders come in. Would definitely come back to have more tandoori chicken and potentially other chicken based dishes they have on the menu.

Food is so delicious here, i totally recommend this restaurant must try tandoori chicken

Even though the ambience is not luxury the food tastes superb. Live tandoor items available here. Service and staff is also good and very helpful. Lal maas, chicken tandoor, Paneer items, paratha, Tandoor Roti are recommended. It's alway crowded so be patient for your turn.

We had tandoori chicken and chicken tikka with a butter naan and garlic naan. It was cooked to perfection and the taste was delicious. We would use this restaurant again

From a youtube video I got recommendation for this place for Lal Mas. On the first day, we went for lunch and ordered Lal Mas and tandoori roti and tandoori chichen. As I was tasting Lal Mas for the first time I cannot vouch for its authenticity but it was very good and tasted different that mutton prep we usually have. It has a taste of saunf in gravy and mutton was melting in mouth. Quality of meat was excellent. Tandoori chicken was perfect. On 2nd day we went for dinner and had afgani tandoori and roti. Afgani tandoori was excellent. We also ordered butter milk which was perfect in taste. Atmosphere is like a dhaba so don't expect fine dining experience. But it was clean and proper.
Sayak M — Google review
The food at Milan Restaurant was undeniably tasty, with a commendable variety to choose from. However, the Marwadi chicken dish was unexpectedly spicy, which might catch some diners off guard. On the bright side, the tandoori rotis were a delight – crispy and freshly cooked, adding a perfect accompaniment to the meal. The only drawback was the slow service due to limited staff, leaving the bustling crowd waiting longer than desired for attention. Despite this, Milan Restaurant offers a satisfying dining experience with room for improvement in service efficiency.
Suvi K — Google review
Such a nice place with the best Tandoori Chicken!! If you want something else then vegetarian food, you must try this restaurant. They prepare the chicken fresh in this big tandoori oven and serve it with cabbage. The Chicken Biryani is also one of the best I have tasted in Rajasthan. Chapati are made fresh as well and the Dal Fry is really tasty. Indian prices, good in balance with the quality of the food.

Such a lovely place to be, the chef is Pahadi and the food had this pahadi flavour which we loved the most. We were a group of 12 and within minutes they were serving us everything. Loved the service, ambience and mehmaan nawaazi. Food was on point, veg and non veg both. Unique flavours which you will just love.

Perfect place to sip delicious coffee, sit, relax, and enjoy the sunset, the view of the city and the fort too. They have amazing options for coffee & tea! Saffron coffee is a must try! Deepak (Kuku) & Ritesh, are amazing people, very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. A very unique experience!!

This rooftop café offers stunning fort views, especially during sunset on clear days. The shakes and coffee were great, customized to preferences. Clean toilet available. Ambience could improve slightly, but overall, it’s a peaceful spot and worth visiting for the experience.

Great relaxing spot for breakfast and coffee. The staff is kind and service is quick. We had muesli yoghurt and coffee. The quality of the coffee is good (not Nescafé) and they do a proper latte. The muesli & yoghurt was also satisfactory and a good switch from local cuisine once in a while. View is also nice, and the place is not too crowded as it can only host about 20 people, which makes for a calm atmosphere while enjoying the views.

A Coffee Lover’s Dream in Jaisalmer We stumbled upon this gem on our first day in Jaisalmer, and after that, there was no question—we went back every single day. This place serves the best coffee we’ve had in India, and honestly, better than most in Europe. We tried a variety of drinks, from the Cafe The Hell with cardamom to a cinnamon latte and even an espresso tonic—each one was excellent. The vegan milk options were plentiful, but the real standout was the freshly made coconut milk—light, unsweetened, and worlds apart from the packaged stuff. The food? Equally outstanding. We had breakfast twice, and both times, it was exceptional. The vegan oatmeal with banana, cinnamon, and freshly shaved coconut was hearty and delicious, and the vegan pancakes? Absolute perfection. Made with puréed strawberry and banana, topped with fresh fruit (all rinsed with mineral water!) and crushed pistachios—so fresh, so flavorful, so good you won’t care that they’re vegan. Picture proof attached! Beyond the food and coffee, the owner was incredibly friendly, even sharing tips for our travels in Jodhpur and Udaipur. And let’s not forget the stunning view—we didn’t catch the sunset from here, but I can only imagine how spectacular it must be. You don’t have to be vegan to appreciate the brilliance of this place. It’s a must-visit in Jaisalmer Fort—a true gem!

Highly recommend trying their saffron coffee, the speciality its known for. The best time would be to visit in the evening so you can glimpse a sight of the greatest sunset views you will ever witness!

Green Park Restaurant in Jaisalmer is a top-rated vegetarian restaurant known for its authentic and delectable food. The restaurant offers various features such as takeaway, delivery, outdoor seating, and private dining. From vegetarian soups to naan bread, Green Park Restaurant serves a wide array of delicious dishes while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
We had a very good experience at Green Park Restaurant, located near the Air Force area in Jaisalmer. The place has a peaceful open-air setup with a relaxed and homely vibe, perfect for a quiet meal away from the busy city area. We tried the Rajasthani Thali, roti, plain dosa and masala khichdi. The food was fresh, simple and full of flavor. The masala khichdi served as part of the Rajasthani Thali was especially delicious, well-spiced and comforting. However, the masala khichdi we ordered separately didn’t have the same taste or richness as the one in the thali. The staff were very helpful and courteous, ensuring we had everything we needed and served us with a smile. Overall, it’s a great place for good vegetarian food at reasonable prices, with friendly service and a calm atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Jaisalmer!

We stopped here for lunch. We ordered kadi pakoda, paneer butter masala, plain rice, tawa roti and bajra roti. The food tasted good, except for the pakoda in the kadhi which could have been a little softer. The service was quick and the staff was also polite and courteous. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Would definitely return next time I am in Jaisalmer.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a perfect evening. The service was outstanding — attentive without being intrusive — and every recommendation from the staff was spot on. We started with the STATERS which was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. For the main course, I had the MANY ITEMS and it was absolutely divine — cooked to perfection with fresh, high-quality ingredients. My partner’s [another dish] was equally impressive. What really stood out was the attention to detail — from presentation to portion size to the way the chef clearly cares about their craft. We finished with the [dessert], and it was the best we’ve had in years. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a must-try spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Would give negative if there was option. Worst restaurant ever. Waited for 2 hours and not a single dish served. They can’t manage properly and were serving in random order. And the manager showed attitude on top of that. Visited on 23 Oct. Finally had to leave with two toddlers, without any food. Avoid at any cost.

Located inside a cosy little nook in the fort of Jaisalmer, The Traveler's Cup Premium Coffee Shop offers travellers a delicious variety of coffees and pastries. The cafe is brightly-coloured and decorated with paintings of chillum smokers, and the aroma of homemade incense drifts through the air. Prices for coffee vary from Rs 54 to Rs 218.
Omg what an oasis in the desert for coffee lovers. Here we found our first proper coffee in India and it was not only good it was simply fantastic. You find a very big selection of different brewing methods, espressi, lattes and more. The atmosphere in this place is super chilled, everyone - a great mix of friendly locals, local tourists and western travellers- hanging around on cozy floor cushions, reading or chit chatting with each other. Sadly we found this amazing place just on our second last day and only came twice. We also tried the musli, fruit yoghurt bowl and it was very yummy and a very generous portion. The friendly owner is very welcoming and makes you feel like at home. Thank you!!!

Best coffee shop in Jaisalmer! The owner is very hospitable, and you’re likely to make new friends in their small but beautiful café. Be sure to try the mixed fruit muesli!

I love this coffee shop! They've got a crazy-long coffee list (e.g. coffee with cardamom or... lemon!), but their cortados are perfection. If you're Spanish, you'll feel right at home. The owner must add magic (or drugs 😜) to the coffee beans because it's seriously addictive. And the bookstore attached! Dream come true. Grab a coffee, snuggle up with a book, and you're set. Best combo ever! 😊☕️📚"
Aga D — Google review
A little precious niche inside the Fort of Jaisalmer! The place is small but cozy and relaxing, you can buy a good book, have a cup of the best and gingery chai of all Jaisalmer and chat with the owner and the people coming here that are all very nice and friendly. It's the perfect place to rest and relax after a visit of the fort or to come for a calm breakfast: the narrow street is also far enough from the chaos of the more crowded turistic places. Very much recommended!

This coffeeshop is a treat and a wonderful "retreat" from the holiday chaos. The coffee was fantastic, Pankaj, the owner, literally makes the best coffee I have had in Jaisalmer. The fruit, curd muesli for breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere of the shop is delightful with his adjoining bookstore and several sitting areas.....the lower sitting area is fun with lovely wall hangings and a great place to sit and visit and share stories with other travelers.

We had a Belgian waffle and a couple of milkshakes. Belgian waffle wasn't good at all. It was just about average. And so was the case with the milkshakes. Doesn't really justify the price. But what I loved about this place was the service and ambience. It was great. However, if they can give a little more attention towards the quality and taste, this place deserves a good 5 stars without a doubt. Visited on 21.04.2023 Reviewed on 14.07.2023

MANIV P — Google review
We traveled with our family from Maharashtra to Jaisalmer and decided to visit The Turban Restaurant, one of the top-rated non-vegetarian restaurants according to public reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka, but after about 10 minutes, the waiter suggested we try Chicken Tikka instead. We agreed, but what was served to us was a stale starter. The food was cold, and when we questioned it, the waiter claimed it was freshly cooked but had cooled due to the winter weather. However, it was clear to us that the food was not fresh and had likely been prepared for other customers earlier. We also ordered Dal Khichdi for our kids, and it, too, was stale. When we mentioned that it tasted off, the waiter blamed the tomato for the sour taste. The service was poor, with no basic accompaniments like salad provided. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Jaisalmer. Despite its high ratings on Google, our visit left us wondering if the reviews are genuine.

Great restaurant all around, really glad to have gone there to eat! It was a one man band doing it all as it was less busy when we went but he was very nice and the food also great! He replaced some ingredients a little bit to make the food less spicy for us too. Would definitely recommend visiting. Would have gone a 2nd time in our short stay in Jaisalmer if we weren't short on time!

As if the majestic view of the mighty, Jaisalmer Fort from the rooftop restaurant was not enough, the food here is incredible. We asked them to prepare the local dish of Laal-maans (laal = red, maans = goat-meat), which is prepared from a special variety of red chilli only grown in Rajasthan. And what a great one it turned out to be! Other dishes were prepared equally well; we had ordered shahi-paneer, chicken butter masala and naan. The service was quick. The atmosphere is soothing with tasteful instrumental music playing all along, the seating comfortable and the clear night-sky & the cool-breeze only add to the coziness. All in all, a great experience! I'd visit again.

Tasted like home cooked meal. portion size was decent. 2. They cook the moment they receive the order. 3.This reataurant is situated opposite to Fort and gives a beautiful view and vibe. 4.I visited this place during night time and it was amazing only one thing which could be a annoying for others could be the traffic noise. But I think when you have a good company you won't even think of it. 5. Staff was also good. On and all it was a great experience👍🏻

Guests can enjoy the scenic views from the terrace seating while indulging in the tasty thali options. The friendly staff and reasonable pricing add to the inviting ambiance of this rooftop eatery.
I was wandering around Jaisalmer near fort and when the time came for dinner found myself near Monica's restaurant. Given the location and outward look, the name sounded strange 🤔. The staircase to this 3rd floor roof top place was steep. Obviously there is no lift😔. Found the menu very modern with complete dishes mentioned along with typical plate wise Indian options. We skeptical ordered dishes (bhuna ghost with naan & rice). The food was amazing. Service was excellent ANF waiters were very polite. Price was very reasonable. You can view the fort from here. Highly recommend.

Food was good, tables and chairs were good, and the service was good. Minus 2 stars because the Coke wasn't very cold, I was way overcharged (but the staff fixed it immediately when I bought it to their attention), and then it took a very long time to get simple change. Veg and non veg; I've posted photos of the menu.

Price is very high for the quantity of food they offer and the place. We were looking a casual normal dinner and the place looked appropriate for it, but it was not to be. The price were fairly high as compared to a few restaurants that we earlier visited. Quantity was less, service was poor and slow. Also when asked for an ice cream, which was priced at 40, they gave us 10rs cup of vanilla ice cream 😂. We were expecting a scoop, but they gave the cup. Luckily it has some insect in it, so we returned it and cancelled the order. Strictly advised to avoid.

This is yummy korean food. We got to talk to the chef who told us he learned from youtube and did a great job. We had the kimchi rice which came with a side of kimchi. The kimchi tasted fresh. If you’re looking for some Asian food and want a little break from Indian cuisine, this is the perfect place! It’s a Korean restaurant with great reviews — and yes, the food really is delicious. We tried a few dishes (especially the Bibimbap), and everything was so tasty. We were so happy to enjoy something different for a change. Fotiya Cafe: Hidden Gem with a Korean Twist! Fotiya Cafe! Tucked away in the city, Fotiya offers a unique experience: authentic Korean food I was initially quite surprised to find Korean cuisine on the menu, but let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The kimchi pancake was absolutely delicious - perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. The chicken mayo rice was a revelation! The spices were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was incredibly generous. But Fotiya isn't just about Korean food. Their glass noodle rice bowl was unlike anything I've ever had before - a true explosion of taste and textures! Even the sodas tasted fresh and delicious. The wait time was the only slight drawback. However, the clean washrooms, friendly service, and great views from the cafe made the wait more bearable. Despite the wait, Fotiya Cafe is a must-try for anyone visiting Jaisalmer. The combination of delicious Korean food, great service, and a clean environment makes it a truly unique and enjoyable experience in a pocket friendly too. So, if you're looking for something different and delicious, look no further than Fotiya Cafe!

We decided to visit this restaurant to enjoy some Korean food, as we had been eating Indian cuisine throughout our trip and were eager for something different. To our surprise, the waiter who took our order was also the chef preparing the Korean dishes. He was exceptionally friendly and even doubles as a tuk-tuk driver, offering rides to various destinations. He charged us 100 rupees for a ride from the restaurant to Jaisalmer Fort. While we’re not certain if this price is standard, we were happy to pay, especially given how delicious the Korean food was. We highly recommend this place for a unique experience—having Korean food in Jaisalmer is a rare treat!

Prices were also not fair enough for the foods which were served for us. Just immediate check in for fast food can be done here & not for any otherwise plans. The flavours in each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients tested incredibly fresh. I love the vegan options available. Disturb went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable they were attentive without being intrusive. Just restaurant has a cosy and charming atmosphere from the movement to walk and you feel right at home. A great spot for families the kids menu hand various healthy options and the staff were very accommodating to our little ones .

Lovely place to dine, have breakfast and not to mention evening snacks... Very economical. I would definitely recommend Lassi at this place. Garnished with Cashew nuts, it really fills up the taste buds. The staff are polite and that just makes the food even more tastier. Overall, had a great time here!! Would love to revisit this place in future..💖👍

One of the best Restaurant available near the Jaisalmer Fort. If you are in the area and looking for a good restaurant then you need to definately check this one out. We had all of meal here only. They had a wide variety lf dishes from breakfast to dinner to dessert, all were really amazing. We had Aaloo Parathas, Dhosa, Paneer Bhurji, Daal Makhni with Chhachh. In dessert we had Ras Malia which was very tasty. The best part is all the food is very reasonable for the price they are asking. This restuarant is highly recommended.

Pleasant Haveli - Rooftop Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Jaisalmer, offering a casual atmosphere and stunning city views. The restaurant serves a variety of cuisines including continental, Indian, and Chinese dishes along with fine drinks. Guests can enjoy their meals while taking in the magnificent view of Vyas Chattri (Cenotaphs), Jaisalmer Fort, and the beautiful sunset or sunrise.
I really have to say: Best Restaurant we could found. It tasted so well and the service was very friendly. After the next day everything was still fine, so we went here a second time. Really a good Restaurant, also for us as foreigners because if they say “not spicy” then it’s really 0% spicy. Perfect - and very location

We stopped for breakfast. The food was good and the rooftop is pleasant, but the view is no longer unobstructed. Double-check your water: the staff tried to serve "mineral bottles" refilled with cloudy water.

Amazing food! And great hospitality, felt like dinning in at some Rajasthani family. Premji cooked very tasty home style food , we had all our meals here. And Shravan was a very kind person we felt very nicely served. Definitely try the food.

Ate at the rooftop restaurant. It was good enough. The veggie curry was on point, the serving of rice was big enough to share for two. The butter chicken had bones in it though, so not quite what we were expecting. Overall nice flavor though. Naan was great 👍
Kristianna C — Google review
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful. The service is unbelievably fast and yet preserving the quality of food. The food is very tasty. We tried their Aloo jeera vegetable, mix veg, and paneer butter masala gravy which I would highly recommend everyone to try. Their veg biryani is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere of this place matches the traditional vibes. The rooftop has a fort-view too. The staff is polite and friendly.

Such a pathetic experience in jaisalmer i reserved a table for me and my elder brother They ruined my evening. They can't served A sweet lassi in half an hour even there is only 5 guest in their restaurant then we asked how much time will they take then the sever said still 15-20minute to serve. I given the order 20:10 pm and then 20:45pm their server came to reconfirm that your lassi is (Sweet or Salty) please don't go to this restaurant

The restaurant is renowned for its diverse and affordable multi-cuisine menu, featuring North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese dishes. Visitors can savor authentic Rajasthani cuisine like DAL BATI prepared fresh upon ordering. The tranquil rooftop setting adds to the peaceful ambiance of this popular dining spot.
Such a peaceful small corner with great views! The food is super delicious and the staff super nice and friendly and makes sure the food is to your liking. The prices are also very affordable Would definitely recommend!

Recently, we visited Shanti, the peace restaurant and ordered food like Pancake paratha. The taste of the food is quite good and the rates are not too high. You can spend 200 Rs each per person. The owner of the cafe Mahindra Singh or Happy is an interesting person you can talk to to gain information about Jaisalmer. He also speaks many languages like French English Italian Japanese. From the cafe you can view the entire city and fresh air passing from it. Highly recommended. Visit once when you are in Jaisalmer.

The food is of low quality and taste even worse. Ordered Indian food, poha lacks the texture and the taste is lacks any flavour expect for the overly ripened lemon provided along with it. Not Recommended

The food is delicious, I had the traditional Rajastani dish: DAL BATI, and ir was awesome. They prepare the food as someone comes so You can be sure that it will be FRESH and GOOD, if u expect this place to be fast food, it wont. Beautiful peaceful rooftop with view towards the dessert. We went here for dinner. The entrance is decent enough however the restaurant from within is below average. The food in general in Jaisalmer is cost and so is this place. The quantity of the food was also less and nothing great about the taste. We went little late (may be 9) and it was winter so the restaurant was quite empty and staff was also not very active. There was also old music being played which was good.

This is a standard joint. We had ordered for veg pulao, veg biryani, tava chapati, paneer handi, and a mutton recipe. The mutton recipe and paneer handi was okay. The veg pulao and biryani was not good. The fresh lime soda was also not prepared properly. And they served expired soft drinks, we had brought this to their notice but they seems to be not aware of it.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant, offering amazing food. Unfortunately, my stomach wasn't feeling at its best so I had to skip the indian spicy options. Rooftop restaurant with 2 levels. Located in close proximity to jaisalmer fort with view available from top. Seating arrangement is decent. Variety of dishes in food menu. Laal maas and chicken tikka was ordered and it tasted nice. Service is slow as they cook fresh food. Beers are also served. The restaurant has inhouse hotels and rooms also. Take note that there is no lift available and you have to walk all the stairs up, might be difficult for senior citizens.

We went there for the very first time and the only thing we found good here was the atmosphere of the restaurant but that too was not the best. The view of the jaisalmer city from the restaurant was the only good thing. Food was like 3 out of 10. Butter naan was not like one... It was like butter on maida paratha. Dal tadka didn't have any taste at all. Mix veg was not good at all. They can improve it by making it more dry. Rs 200 plain rice was like only 100 grams. Tea was however good. The rate of food was not worth it. They need to change or wash the cover of the chair and sofa cushions.

Had two lunch meals across two days. We drove to this restaurant from Longewalla for the incredible mango lassi served at this restaurant. The all vegetarian food is excellent. The service staff especially Bhavani is very good. Their paneer items are excellent. This is a vegetarian restaurant with very nice view of Jaisalmer Fort. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The menu offers Indian, limited Chinese and Italian. We ordered pasta and North Indian cuisine, our usuals paneer, dal, roti and rice along with one vegetarian option and salad. More than the food we were more excited with the outdoor area as the fort was looking lovely at night. We did our photo session making sure that each and every one gets a nice pic with the fort as a backdrop. Coming back to the restaurant, the food was decent and service was good too.

📍 Thakur Ji Restaurant, near Jaisalmer Fort What I ordered: Paneer Angara with Fulka, Dal Baati Churma, Thakur Ji Special Lassi 💰 Bill: ₹1255 (for two) ⭐ Rating: 3 / 5 Review: Food is average — not bad, but definitely not as good as the ratings suggest. Paneer Angara lacked flavor, Dal Baati Churma was plain, and the so-called special lassi was just okay. Nothing exceptional overall. Service and ambience are fine, but for the price, the food taste doesn’t justify it. Verdict: An average vegetarian restaurant near Jaisalmer Fort — fine if you’re nearby, but not worth a special visit.

Ristorante Italiano Om is a charming restaurant that offers a variety of Italian and Rajasthani dishes at reasonable prices. The rooftop seating area provides lovely views, creating a fantastic dining experience. The owner, Neev, is known for his hospitality and recommendations. Guests have enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here, with highlights including traditional Rajasthani curry, delicious Italian pizza, and authentic Rajasthani dish Dal Bhati Churma.
Fantastic experience, Neev was incredibly hospitable, he made the place feel really welcoming, I honestly can’t fault him. We had both breakfast and dinner here in the same day. For dinner we asked for his recommendation and ended up with a traditional Rajasthani curry and an incredible Italian pizza, both were super tasty! The rooftop seating area is really cute, it has great views and looks especially lovely at night. It’s just the sort of quirky place I would expect to eat at in an 800 year old fort. 100% recommend

Small restaurant on top of building, owner was pleasant, food was good and prices reasonable.
Tim L — Google review
I came here because of the convenience of it being next door to my hotel for a quick breakfast bite. After ordering the rajastani breakfast which was absolutely fantastic (you gotta try the poova!) I knew I had to come back after the owner Neev tells me his specialty if pizzas and indian food. I did just that, and I decided to trust Neev to make me whatever he wanted. He gave me veg pizza and a typical Rajasthani curry (not sure what is called) which was both absolutely fantastic. I highly reccomend anyone to come here if they are in jaisalmer fort. (View is good too apparently but I was too focused of the food!)

We wandered in quite by chance and though a tiny restaurant, the host Naveen was really good. We wanted to try an authentic Rajasthani dish and though it wasn't on the menu, Naveen got his mom to make us Dal Bhati Churma! It was so so delicious. Def worth a visit for the hospitality!

The place has an stunning view from the small roof top terrace, essentially for sunset. The coffee was great and I ordered a simple dish which tasted excellent.

Natraj Restaurant in Jaisalmer offers a beautiful rooftop setting with a stunning view of the golden forts. It is an ideal venue for various events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and office parties. The restaurant serves delicious pure vegetarian food, including fantastic value South Indian dosas. Additionally, it offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals at affordable prices ranging from Rs 75-160.
Awesome taste, just loved the veg food. We had mushroom masala, Kher sanger, missi roti, rice and butter milk. Place is just beside Salem Singh ki haveli and walking distance of approximately 500 metres from Jaisalmer Fort entry gate. Person incharge was very humble and knows how to treat customers. Rate is very reasonable as per food quality. Bill for us (2 persons) was 750 INR.

Incredibly tasty meal, the wonder is kind and spoke with us for a few minutes to describe all the dishes and the history of the restaurant. We ate well and were looked after very well. Highlights were Ker Sangri and mix panner bhurji. The setting is nice and I look forward to returning.

Dal Makhani was undercooked and well below expectations. The Paneer was okay, but overall, the food had very less spices and salt, which made it quite plain. They did prepare the food fresh, but it took around 25 minutes to serve just Tawa Roti, Dal, and Paneer. Overall, the food quality and flavor could be improved.

The atmosphere was great. Very relaxed and chilled. Myself and my wife both had the Rajaisthani Thali. This was one of the best meals we have had in our entire Indian travels. Lots of different dishes, each cooked perfectly. Cannot recommend it more. I wish we had found it sooner.

A very peaceful spot with nice views from the balconies of the fort. Very good recommendations on what to eat from chef and owner for some great, vegetarian food.

A hidden gem in the heart of the city. This is a quaint restaurant very near to fort parking. The ambience is very relaxing and cosy with a rooftop sitting for view of the fort. The food is top notch in taste and quality as well. They even accommodated our request for ginger-black pepper hot milk very late night. Must visit.

Indulge in the authenticity of Rajasthani cuisine with a delightful bonus—the enchanting ambiance of Jaisalmer Fort to the left. While the service may be a bit slow, the delectable dishes they serve make the wait entirely worthwhile.

This restaurant is situated inside the fort with a magnificent view from the terrace. It has indoor sitting as well which is beautifully designed. Food was excellent. Special mention for the mutton dishes! Staff was very courteous. It is quite reasonably priced. Must visit for those traveling to Jaisalmer!

Pros 1) Location which is near to the Jaisalmer fort canon view point 2) Inside ambiance and decor 3) City and fort view Cons 1) Food quality was not great. Ordered Kaju curry which was very average and gravy was not fresh. 2) Service was poor. There were 2 boys who were not trained in servicing customers. Didn't bother to ask for extra chapati even we were the only customers in the restaurant, we had to call them from outside the seating area every time. 3) The staff didn't know about Jaisalmer as we were enquiring about a place and the guy had no clue. Went with Family in early October for lunch.

Great restaurant and location with sweeping views of the city. Food and service are excellent, there are many local options on the menu. It was very hot after lunch and the staff let me chill in the restaurant until the heat subsided.

This restaurant is located inside the fort. Its has a small, shaded and cozy seating area overlooking the entire Jaisalmer city. We went there in the afternoon for lunch. Had laal maas which was good in taste. This place is a good option to beat the afternoon heat. One can sit and relax. And you will end up taking amazing pictures, as the setup is ethnic and rural.

To be honest, we went to eat at Shree Ji excellency restaurant but we only saw chaos there. Kanishka restaurant is right opposite of it. And they did not disappoint at all. The food was amazing. We ordered a Rajasthani Thali and Dal bati churma Thali. The portion and quality was way beyond 2 people’s expectations haha Everyone must go there if you are in Jaisalmer. I would rate them 6 star out of 5. 👌

ere for lunch and were blown away by the flavors. We ordered a mix of North Indian and Rajasthani dishes, and every bite left us craving more. The gatta curry was the absolute highlight—rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best versions we’ve ever had. The Kanishka special veg and the dal tadka paired perfectly with fresh rotis, making the meal wholesome and deeply satisfying. What added to the experience was the staff—the servers and waiters were polite, attentive, and well-behaved, ensuring everything went smoothly. Overall, Kanishka Restaurant is the perfect spot in Jaisalmer for delicious, hearty food. If you want authentic flavors and don’t care much about fancy décor, this is the place to be.

We had dinner at this restaurant on 28th November 2022. Enjoyed the ambience, taste of food and above all the service. We liked the 'open to sky' provision in the dining area. Hanging lamps gave a heritage look. Tharun Bhaiya served us well by explaining about each and every dish. We are from Chennai. Liked to relish local Rajasthani dishes. We enjoyed the way he explained us on how to eat 'Dal Bhati Churma' the traditional way. General opinion about this place is that the price is high. But we felt 'value for money'. If you visit there after reading my review say hello to Tharun Bhaiya and enjoy his service.

Tathastu Jaisalmer - A Café By Lake is a charming restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and well-maintained surroundings. The staff members are friendly and attentive, making it a great place for families. Nestled by the serene banks of a river, this hidden gem offers delicious cuisine made from local ingredients and global flavors.
If you’re in Jaisalmer and looking for a chill spot with an amazing view, Tathastu is the place to be! Right on the banks of Gadisar Lake, this gem of a place gives you front-row seats to a stunning sunset—and trust me, it’s a sight you won’t forget. The vibe? Absolutely delightful! With live music setting the mood and a laid-back ambiance, it’s the perfect place to kick back after a day of exploring the Golden City. But what really makes the experience special is Vaibhav, the restaurant manager—his energy is infectious, and his recommendations? Spot on! Whether you’re up for a relaxing evening with friends or just want to soak in the views with some good food and music, Tathastu is a must-visit in Jaisalmer. Cheers to good times and great sunsets!
Amlan B — Google review
Peaceful restaurant with the best view of Gadisar Lake. Menu has a lot of options for cold drinks, which are ideal for foreigners who are having a hard time managing the heat. I have been in twice already and received exceptional service from the staff. They are very chatty and happy to give advice/tips for your trip! Will definitely be back!

Amazing view, disappointing food. The lake view at sunset is stunning and the service was friendly and efficient, but the food was below average. The vegetable sizzler was mostly rice, the pakora was dry, and the Margherita pizza had odd sauce and unmelted cheese. A nice place for a drink and the view — but not for a meal.

Review for Tathastu Cafe Tathastu Cafe, located near the iconic Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer, is a hidden gem that perfectly blends a serene ambiance with modern comfort. The cafe's location is truly picturesque, offering beautiful views that make it an ideal spot for relaxing and unwinding after exploring the city. One of the highlights of Tathastu is its air-conditioned indoor seating, a much-needed respite from the scorching desert heat. The decor complements the serene vibe, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal or just sip on a refreshing drink. While the food was average in taste, the starters definitely stood out and were more enjoyable. It’s a great place for a quick bite rather than a full meal if you're prioritizing taste. Another charming feature of the area is the small market nearby, filled with souvenir shops offering local handicrafts at reasonable prices. Additionally, there are photographers available who capture amazing clicks at surprisingly low costs, adding to the overall experience. Tathastu Cafe is a lovely spot to relax, enjoy the views, and soak in the beauty of Gadisar Lake, even if the food might not be the main attraction. It’s worth visiting for the ambiance, cool interiors, and the complete experience of the location.
Anjali J — Google review
Though the cafe sits on top of the Gadisar Lake and offers amazing view of the lake, but cafe is over-hyped for its food & services. The food was just average and the service is quite lethargic & substandard. Firstly no one is bothered to take orders, once ordered wait time is approx 25-30 mins even for milk shakes & cold coffee, food usually takes 45-50 mins. Also sadly the waiter does not even remember your order and has to be reminded multiple times. After almost an hour and half we gave up on the dish and decided to ask for bill and we left. To my surprise they had the audacity of charging us for the dish which was never served. Quite saddening experience for me.

The restaurant location was nice with many instagrammable spots. One can enjoy meals with a lake view. At night, there’s light fountain show in the lake. The food was average while the price being a little on the higher side. The kitchen area was little unhygienic. They didn’t provide spoon and glasses, we had to ask them again and again to provide it.

Pathetic Experience, Not Worth Even a Single Star! Too bad! They claim this hotel to be a 3–4 star property, but the reality is completely opposite. You have to struggle for even the most basic amenities, so forget about any luxury experience here. I stayed from 13th to 14th November with a dinner and breakfast package. There were no tissues on the dining tables or with the plates, and when we asked, they brought one tissue every 10 minutes — literally one at a time! The same situation repeated during both breakfast and dinner. Food quality was pathetic — Chole was totally unripe, and Idlis were as hard as stones. I even called Mr. D. Khan (their chef) to share my feedback, but nothing really changed. Coming to the rooms — the misery continued. No hand towels, no hot water. I called their staff to fix the water issue, but it never worked. And here’s the worst part — they’re charging ₹119 for a 1-litre water bottle with an MRP of ₹20! I don’t know who authorised them to charge 600% above MRP, but it’s absolutely unethical. As for the tariff, they’ll happily quote you luxury hotel prices, but what you actually get is a below-average hotel, located 4–5 km away from the city with nothing nearby.

A superb dining place in Jaisalmer with great ambience to match it. The food was delicious to say the least with the preparation catered exactly to our needs. A special mention for Sabir for his unparallel hospitality. Sabir, it was great interacting with you and our best wishes for your future plans. For people visiting Jaisalmer, do try OTR at least once, you won't regret it!

The place is located on the road to Sam Dunes, as the name suggests. We ordered their premium rajasthani thali and it was a nice experiance. The place was clean without any special decor and the Ambiance was average mess styled but the food was pretty good. They tried to provide authentic Western rajasthan taste in the Platter and I would visit again to try more from them.

Delight Restaurant in Jaisalmer is a top choice for vegetarians, offering an extensive menu featuring Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes. While some find the prices a bit high, the restaurant's delightful dining experience and delicious food make it worth it. Despite occasional delays in service due to limited space, the restaurant's great flavors and peaceful atmosphere receive high praise. Visitors can expect good quality food served by polite staff in a calm and quiet air-conditioned environment.
Delight Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy authentic Rajasthani cuisine in Jaisalmer! The dal bati churma and ker sangri sabji were the best I’ve ever had—fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The owner was very nice and friendly, and the staff was attentive and courteous. The service was quick, and the overall experience was fantastic. Improvements: 1) Cleanliness was needed at the front door while entering. 2) If possible the Restaurant should try Roasted Bati as well 3) Cleanliness outside the hotel was much needed. I highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer!

Nice place near to the hotel area for lunch and dinning. The rates are something expensive compared to the hotel but good arrangement. Usually the order is arriving late and too much chaos as there is lesser space for the tables. We have to wait for our order. The hotel is having good amount of seating capacity. Food is good but someday expensive.

Never go to this restaurant. Taxi drivers usually take tourists to this eatery. When we ordered food, there was rat dropping in the rice. On enquiring from the waiter, he admitted the fact and offered to change the portion. But we declined and walked away. We warned other gueats seated there also.

You will get royal feeling at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. They have well maintained, a big swimming pool. Front desk Sultan ji, all staff were very helpful. Quick room service. Breakfast was good, but limited items, no buffet breakfast. Location is very close to fort. You will get good fort view from 4th floor of this facility where you can enjoy sunset.

Brilliant hotel, beautiful rooms loved the day bed area to relax in the room that had a view of the fort. The staff and the man who we think is the owner or manager were all so welcoming, constantly asking if there was more they could do to help. This is a luxury hotel that gives a 5 star feel, the pool looks amazing sadly we didn't have time to use. This is the best hotel we have stayed in across India & we have been to many places. Even by UK standards this is definitely a 5 star hotel with 5 star service. We had a safari prebooked through another company but they didn't care, they offered to store our bags, offered us a room to rest and shower once we returned at no extra charge. They have a fridge in the sitting area downstairs where you can get bottles of water for free at anytime. Brilliant hotel, you never know what you are booking when it comes to hotels online sometimes but this one goes above and beyond definitely worth a stay.

Very good hotel, the service was good except for the reception. The guy in the reception was not impressed with Indian guests. If you are a foreigner with white skin, he will do anything for you. Even though we were the first to arrive we were asked to wait to be checked in since a group of foreigners came in later. It was a very bad experience. The restaurant was great. Do not miss it. Great food and great service and great views. The room was large and well appointed. Overall very good experience.

When next in Jaisalmer we will definitely be back, a true friend

Our driver recommended us this place. They have very beautiful entrance and decor. The ambience is quite warm and cozy. The food is super delicious and fresh. Their service is prompt. The staff is friendly, courteous and polite. We ordered Rajasthani styled chicken, jungle paratha and chicken fried rice. The food is good and potion is small. They serve halal food. They said they do accept card however their machine was not working(did not saw the machine). This place was little untidy and not clean. And this might be because we reached very early ( by 11:30 am). The second and most annoying part was that it had lots of flies which caused us lots of trouble. I hope they work on these things and make their customers experience even more better.

Stellar option for visitors of Jaisalmer. I was apprehensive when booking this hotel as the pictures were almost too good. In reality, the hotel is even better! I overbooked for our group by one room, my mistake. The property worked with me to find amicable solution. After that minor hiccup, we were free to enjoy the property which includes a plunge pool, well equipped gym, spa (two in our group used and very much enjoyed), and my favorite part, two private outdoor sitting areas where I could work remotely work. My room was outstanding, with a separate living quarter, large bath and large sleeping area. Desert modern architecture done well. Breakfast was hearty, helpful service. In fact the entire staff was helpful and friendly. This hotel was an unexpected treat in the desert. So close to the fort entrance, nearby restaurants. Their roof top restaurant was tasty. Without doubt we would stay here again.

Yes it's one of the pretty places in the vicinity with lovely vibes and a fort view. Yes the service is tailored to make the firang guests very happy. But unfortunately, the thing that matters the most, food, is where the cafe lacks. We were served complimentary papad and chutney where the chutney smelled. When raised, the server was sure it was not, and what could one day after that. Next we ordered a veg grilled sandwich which was absolutely average. The fettuccini basil pasta was decent but very oily with tooth breaking bread. The saving grace was the mint cucumber slush which made me less angry. So yeah, go for the pics, sit for a beer, but avoid the food.

This is the only structure in the fort with so many vibrant colours painted on walls to give that tibetian vibes. From outside, it looks like a regular tibetian restaurant. When we enquired, we were surprised that they have rooftop sitting area as well. The next thing I saw was the most beautiful and amazing view you can get of the fort and city. We hope to return for dinner for the enchanting nighttime views. A lovely gem of a restaurant!

The Panorama Jaisalmer is an open-air restaurant offering stunning panoramic views of the beautiful city. Specializing in Indian and Asian cuisine, it caters to vegetarians and offers gluten-free options. Operating from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, it serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Visitors can enjoy delicious dishes while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Guests have praised the Garlic Cheese Sandwich and Cold Coffee.
Beautiful spot to see the sun rise. Nice cold refreshing drinks Has white wine and beer Nice spot in the evening to chill out and watch life from up high Curry was not spicy, so you need to ask for spice, Spring roll was very nice.

Great location, next to the canon. Nonveg restaurant serving lal maas, besides generic indian chinese etc. Ambience is super, if you get the tables on the edge. Awesome breeze and panorama.

Worst experience ever. Zero hospitality and ton of attitude. He said no for a coffee while offering to other guests. Worst experience.
Manan J — Google review
Our train’s departure time wasn’t until 2am so we just wandered upon this cafe for drinks. The service was hospitable, especially having stayed three hours and just ordering two sodas. The vibes were also immaculate! Highly recommend this place - especially during sunset - for anyone around the fort area! The owner also knows a lot about Jaisalmer and is very friendly and keen on sharing his knowledge :)
Tenzin K — Google review
It's located in literally next to Bronze Canon. Super nice view and vive especially in the morning. We can have breakfast with facing rising sun. I arrived to train station early morning so randomly came to Bronze Canon and was just chiling. Then the restaurant man talked me like "Namaste. Masala tea?" and I had unexpected wonderful and calm chilling monents there. It was still 7am that I entered to cafe but according to the google map, it opens from 8am so I don't know actually.

The vibe and view from this restaurant is amazing. You can see the whole city from the rooftop. Service was good. We ordered Vegetable sandwich and cold coffee. Sandwich was okayish and coffee had chocolate sauce which was disappointing. Music was very loud.
Janki S — Google review
Came across this restaurant while visiting the city view point. We ordered Ker Sangri, Panner and Naan- and the taste was quite good. The views are pretty amazing and you can also request for a candlelight dining. It started raining heavily on the night, and with no electricity, they still managed to give us a great meal.

The climb up to the old town is worth the trek to reach this little restaurant which has a wonderful view of the city.We were served by a guy named Vikram Rathore Husain.Excellent food all the food was delicious the service was fantastic the dinner was also accompanied by local music I invite you to visit this restaurant for a dinner in a very romantic atmosphere. The fast food restaurant Sunset Palace offers a scenic view of the city and delicious Indian thalis at reasonable prices. With cushions and low tables on an airy terrace, it's perfect for a relaxing meal.
This place serves tasty food. They have a variety of options to choose from. The food is affordable. The place offers an amazing view of the sunset. They have a very good Wifi connection as well.

I like the atmosphere here , it's very quiet and the food is not too hard to eat..the service and food is cooked fast..the staff is friendly and willing to have a conversation with the customer. The price is affordable and the location is behind the fort and it's out of the noisy traffic outside of the fort which makes it very comfortable place to chill out..they have amazing view as well ! Highly recommended

We had a great time in Sunset Restaurant. Very nice and professional service. Tasty food - we came back next day to enjoy once again the noodles 😀 The view on the old city is great, you can really enjoy the great sunset in Jaisalmer accompanied with good food and chilled drinks. I will miss this place for sure.

Best meals in Jaisalmer! We stayed 4 nights in Jaisalmer and we had 3 dinners here. The restaurant was just a stroll away from our hotel. It offers a fantastic view of the fort and the city. There’s a lounge area and 5 or six dining tables. All nicely decorated and cosy. The service is simply amazing. Friendly, helpful, chatty. As for the food, it’s was gorgeous. We are normally not vegetarian but this restaurant was probably the best place to sample it all. Lots of regional dishes too. A must go!
Bunsky — Google review
The place with amazing views . One can sit here for hours and adore the beautiful fort view. But the food is ok ok and it’s very over priced. If they can improve the quality of food then it’s a must go place. Staff is courteous and accommodating.

Best food, drinks, and vibe in the Fort Lovely place to hang out. Delicious clean food - we tried half the menu. Drinks are also delicious - especially the cold coffee and lemon soda. We didn't watch the sunset but the view is always gorgeous. The wifi is also great so it was the perfect place for me to do some remote working!

Thanks Sunset Palace for amazing food while we were staying inside the fort. This restaurant came recommended by our hosts and they didn’t disappoint! Delicious, freshly prepared food and icy cold drinks. Thanks Jamie for the great service. Excellent view from the circular seating area as well.

The restaurant is known for accommodating custom requests with a smile, making it worth the visit even if you're staying far away. It's highly recommended for all meals due to its amazing food and cost-effectiveness. The ambiance is inviting and elegantly designed, providing a warm and welcoming environment. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
Nice place to have food with your family and friends. Service can be improved. Food was good to taste. We had Rajasthani Thali here.

We (two veggie backpackers from the UK) had a delicious vegetarian dinner here. Our meals were fresh and tasty, and quick to come out. The service was very attentive. The restaurant is a nice location and appears very clean!

Pro. 1. The restaurant ambiance and service is good. 2. Good for Punjabi food. Cons. 1. Authentic Rajasthani food taste missing. (Maybe cook is an expert in Punjabi food only) 2. Do not try Dal bati (₹499) - Recommendation. 3. Prices are on the high side. 4. For dal- bati lover go to other restaurants and you will get the best taste at a low price.

Peaceful calm atmosphere. In and out plenty of sits. Food was too spicy despite they asked if spicy level shall be reduced. Thali was of a good size so can get full with it. Gulab jammu came without ice-cream despite in menu written that standard is with ice-cream. When we asked where is ice-cream they said that you can order it separately and pay for it. When we pointed out that in menu it mentioned that it is complimentary and included in the price of gulab jammu, then they brought it for free. Looks like they even didn't know their own menu. Since it was dinner time they use mosquito smoke. There itself we didn't notice it much, but after coming home were fully smelling of fire 🔥 so couldn't use clothes again. During day time such issue might not arise.

I came here today seeing the crazy reviews and it’s rating searching for a pure veg restaurant serving top notch daal baati churma. Guys seriously it’s not worth the hype, AT ALL. They have some parking space where the local people park as they like and they will block your car too if needed. There’s no one from the hotel staff who would be present to guide your parking and then towards the restaurant. You’re on your own. It’s been so so long that, I’ve eaten such low grade food, dosa does not taste like dosa, soup tastes like syrup, in fact they can’t even make their own rajasthani food tasty. Even then the restaurant was flooded with customers, I wonder why. They have a rooftop set up which I could not see, plus an open lawn with sizeable seating. The waterfront is filled with dirty stagnated water, only they know when they had last filtered it. An easy miss, it was my mistake I went to this place. The waiters, owner do not care it seems, the same way I did not care to even click the pictures cos I was just so depressed after the meal. Should have taken a picture of all the food items I had to waste cos of its taste and poor quality. Their menu does include a variety of items covering all the cuisines. Honestly I wonder how they managed to get such good reviews and ratings. Jaago graahak jaago.
Darshan R — Google review
Ambience is very calm and the lawn adds beauty to this restaurant. Food quality is good and taste is fantastic. Restroom is clean which is such a relief for tourist especially if one has checked out. Management is supportive and service is quick. There is plenty of parking available inside the compound.

Perhaps this is the best vegetarian restaurant in Jaisalmer. It's near to the city centre next to the air force gate. This restaurant not only attracts customers because of its delicious food but also because of its exquisite ambience. You have the privilege to enjoy both the outdoor garden dining as well as the indoor air conditioned dining. Digital payment facility is available here. Ample of parking is available to accommodate your vehicle. The food is not too expensive and has the best taste in town.
