The restaurant is very simple. Interior wise. The service is good. Not very impressive as I had ordered bajra Roti, but they forgot and they got the plain roti when requested and reminded they said that they forgot and made few excuses upon my request. They provided, but overall, the experience was good because the food was just awesome. It is very simply located outside the Mandir Palace Hotel. If you want to have good food, this is definitely the place to visit out again. Love to go for the taste of the food.

Located at heart of the city this restaurant provides good food, great ambience and good service. We had the famous Lal maas, it was so good we visited again especially for that the next day. People were warm and welcoming. Prices were decent. Would definitely recommend.

This place was on many websites as a must visit and boy did it deliver. The restaurant is located on the first floor about 15 mins from the Jaisalmer fort. The ambiance is lovely and the staff was polite and courteous. We ordered the thar special mutton and it was delicious. The mutton was succulent and well cooked. The flavours of the ghee and spices was coming through beautifully. We ordered the Naan to go with the gravy and it was good too. For desert we got the caramel custard which was nice as it was not too sweet. Definitely a must visit to try some really good food!

Visited Trio Restaurant for the second time, The service was amazing as usual Ordered Peanut masala to start with which looked amazing and tasted good as well, Later ordered for murgh tikka which looked good but the taste was average, and along with murgh tikka asked for tawa roti. Which was good though the basket of roti had an underlined of tissue which was sticking to the roti because of heat. Would highly suggest to use a similar linen as the napkins for the Rotis.

Recently visited Trio Restaurant and had an excellent experience. The food was absolutely amazing, rich in authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff was extremely professional and courteous throughout. The ambience is aesthetic, with a perfect blend of traditional Rajasthani charm and modern comfort. The rooftop seating offers a beautiful view of the fort, adding to the overall dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in Jaisalmer. Will definitely visit again!

Trio is one of the best restaurants to dine in Jaisalmer. Lal Maas and other local cusines are delicious. Nicely perched overlooking the Nachna Havlei and Mandir Palace. Superbly located in the city Centre.

We stayed at Trio Haveli and also wanted to try it's restaurant. You can read my review of Trio Haveli also. The Trio Restaurant is in main market & parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is just adjacent to mandir palace (ITC welcome heritage). It was christmas day when we visited, not too full and seating was easily available. Food took some time to arrive. No major complains. We had heard a lot about laal maas, but didn't find anything spl. and also appeared that food colouring has been used. The soups ordered were not upto the mark. Naan & other items were ok. The Christmas cake was complementary, kids liked it. As the main sitting area is not on ground floor, those having knee or other walking issues will have difficulty. That's common issue across Jaisalmer.

Very customer friendly, rooms are small but perfect, absolutely clean n beautiful. The restaurant at top is very nice n have a good view of The Jaisalmer Fort..very popular amongst Koreans.. surprisingly all the staff can speak fluent Korean language..

One of the best restaurant in jaisalmer i visited. Very kind and helpful staff and the food is just mouthwatering. They serve many types of food like Indian, Continental, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and many more. The food is just delicious specialy the Korean food and they are specialist in it. I stayed there for 3 days the rooms are neat n clean and they provide desert safari the scene is just rememberable for life.

Food quality is awesome. At nominal prices. The behaviour of staff is very polite. Actually this is a hotel and we reached its restaurant around 11pm. Usually the restaurant closes at 11 pm but then also they welcome us and served us food with no compromise in the quality. Their service is really awesome. And our experience in Jaisalmer is great. Tasty sushi and fresh Korean food. High quality considering we're on the far side of India! Staff are friendly and not pushy. It's a great spot for the sunset - it was funny to watch the crowd at sunset point right behind us.

The ambiance and traditional Rajasthani setup at Desert Boy’s Dhani were lovely, and the food tasted good overall. However, our experience could have been better. The service was a bit slow, and the portion of dal served with each plate was quite limited. When we requested a little more, we were told it would be charged extra, which was disappointing since dal is a key part of the meal. We had ordered 5 Dal Baati Churma plates but received only 2 papads, and even those were not full pieces as mentioned. It would be nice if the restaurant improved portion sizes and ensured consistency between what’s promised and what’s served. Overall, the food was tasty, but the service and quantity management could definitely be improved.

I being a pure non vegetarian, if was asked to eat in a pure vegetarian restaurant because the food was good, i would have given them a piece of my mind for i haven't tasted any good food in any vegetarian restaurant. But here i really would recommend it to everyone. The food is satisfying to both the mind and the body. Certain things you need to experience rather than reading so come here and experience good food in an excellent harmony with the nature.

Hi, Today we went to this hotel and we had lovely experience there. They served us food "dal bati churma" and it was very delicious seriously. And the best part of it was those little tiny tables. It was such a wonderful place and chutni was very tasty 😋. Thanks alot!!!

We had lunch few times there. The place has an amazing open sitting area which was super enjoyable during January time. We ordered authentic Rajasthani food like Dal Bati, Ker Sangri, Gatte ki subzi etc... The food had little modern touch we could have been avoided to keep the authenticity. The owner Arvind was an amazing host and they took care of all our needs

This restaurant has very good atmosphere. The interior of Rajasthan is very good sense and can eat on the lovely patio. I ate delicious Indian foods at a reasonable price. The manager is very kind and honest. When I go to Jaisalmer , I go to this restaurant always. He is an important friend. The staffs are friendly and helpful. You can get excellent service. I recommend it highly. I remember happy time at this restaurant.

The food was quite good—flavorful and well-prepared, with beautifully presented dishes. However, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. While the entrance was aesthetically pleasing, the outdoor setting didn’t quite match up. The restaurant is located on a rooftop, which could have been charming, but the air felt dusty and unpleasant. As night fell, the dim lighting made it difficult to fully appreciate the food. Unfortunately, the dustiness was quite noticeable, which took away from the experience.

The location and ambience are truly amazing — perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. However, the service and food were a huge letdown. There seemed to be only 2–3 waiters, and they were not only inattentive but also quite rude. We ordered the Jaisalmer Chicken, which unfortunately was served rotten. When we reported it, the waiter didn’t even bother to respond. The cocktail we ordered was also extremely diluted. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Visit only if you’re looking for good pictures, not good food or service.

The Chicken 65 was drenched in black mustard seeds — not just a bit overdone, it was a full-on assault on the taste buds. Absolutely inedible. Whoever thought that was a good idea clearly has no clue how the dish is supposed to be made. As for the nachos — don't insult your customers by dumping tomato ketchup and calling it salsa. That’s not fusion, it’s just laziness and zero effort. This place has officially killed any curiosity I had about their mutton dishes. If you can’t get basic starters right, I’m not risking anything else. Worse than anything I’ve had in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur — even Jaipur street food joints do better. Avoid unless you're into culinary punishment. #please spare the beer experience #

Place is situated inside the fort, right after entering from the main gate. Location is great but food was not good at all. We ordered white sauce pasta but the pasta had very bad garlic after flavour and was not edible. Its good place to just relax and sip coffee but not recommended for food.

I had cannelloni with veg and cheese. It didn't have tomato sauce but was very cheesy with a slight Indian flavour, I really enjoyed it. For dessert I had custard with mixed fruit, delicious. A little pricey but good portions and well worth it.

Totally a fun place to hang out. The pizzas are so well made with perfect texture, freshness and taste! The staff is attentive efficient and very friendly! The view of the fort adds up to the whole experience. So try their coffees, freshly brewed as per your taste buds!

This place is the best in Jaisalmer! They cook italian food but also local food! Anything you’ll order will be amazing (as I’ve been in Jaisalmer for a long time and I’ve almost tried all the menu). And they have the best views of the ford from their terrace. Don’t miss it!

Spacious terrace for a good dinner in the evening N26.916048 E70.910795 Near the western gate on the Gandhi Chowk Square is Saffron Restaurant on the roof of the Hotel Nachana Haveli, a wonderful cozy hotel with many courtyards and adjoining rooms. The spacious rooftop terrace is partly covered by a tent, but the afternoon heat made it unappealing for lunch. From the rooftop terrace, we spotted a nice shaded courtyard with a water fountain within the hotel grounds in November 2022. After some persuasion, lunch with sandwiches and tea was served in the courtyard, courtesy with good Wi-Fi reception. Staying out of the heat has never been soon comfortable. In the evening, we returned for a generous vegetarian thali dish, not printed on the menu. It was delicious. The many biting mosquitoes diminished the experience, but staff quickly took effective measures. Saffron serves excellent non-vegetarian and vegetarian food. Recommended.

Restaurant recommended by Lonely Plant and other guidebooks but quite disappointing. Only a few tables on the open , the rest under a sort of tent , basic decoration and dirty. Food ok ( paneer padlak and mutton with garlic and peppers) with no special interest. Not worth the walk from the fort to the lower city!

It's within Nachna Haveli complex. A 400 year old building made of famous yellow limestone. Slightly on the expensive side. But you get beer and wine. It's on rooftop, offering a gorgeous view of the castle.

Food is delicious, restaurant is quiet and spacious. Prices are quite reasonable, maybe a bit on the higher side. Veg and non-veg. Paneer Mushrooms and Bhoona Chicken (chef recommendation) are super tasty.

Mixed review If good non veg food is what you are looking for, don't visit this place. We ordered chicken and laal mans. Both were pathetic and no original taste We then ordered mutter paneer which turned really well. The quality of paneer and mutter and the gravy was great

This is a great restaurant on the roof of the hotel, with wonderful views of the fort and the city. Particularly notable for the wonderful local music and dancing performed at dinner -- so great to see artists enthusiastically sharing their craft!

Very basic place near the Cannon Point, a beautiful place with city view. Actually operating from the residence and sit out is planned at the rooftop. The guy was helpful and made good food. Chicken thukpa was good but not among the best. Alcohol is not served. Actually name is deceptive. It’s an ordinary restaurant serving all sorts of cuisine.

We went here late evening around 9:30 and ordered for Momo's and thukpa. Undoubtedly the momo was the best and freshly made. Really loved the night ambience facing the city full of lights.

Chicken Momo's were not that good. But really appreciate the efforts made by the owner (who's the cook as well). He was talking really well. Prices were considerably on a higher side.

had a fantastic dinner here at Free Tibet! i had been craving momos and just couldn’t find them anywhere. we arrived in the off season where many restaurants were closed, however, this lovely restaurant opened their doors for us and cooked us a lovely tibetan meal with a great view and service just for us.

Even though the ambience is not luxury the food tastes superb. Live tandoor items available here. Service and staff is also good and very helpful. Lal maas, chicken tandoor, Paneer items, paratha, Tandoor Roti are recommended. It's alway crowded so be patient for your turn.

We had tandoori chicken and chicken tikka with a butter naan and garlic naan. It was cooked to perfection and the taste was delicious. We would use this restaurant again

From a youtube video I got recommendation for this place for Lal Mas. On the first day, we went for lunch and ordered Lal Mas and tandoori roti and tandoori chichen. As I was tasting Lal Mas for the first time I cannot vouch for its authenticity but it was very good and tasted different that mutton prep we usually have. It has a taste of saunf in gravy and mutton was melting in mouth. Quality of meat was excellent. Tandoori chicken was perfect. On 2nd day we went for dinner and had afgani tandoori and roti. Afgani tandoori was excellent. We also ordered butter milk which was perfect in taste. Atmosphere is like a dhaba so don't expect fine dining experience. But it was clean and proper.

The food at Milan Restaurant was undeniably tasty, with a commendable variety to choose from. However, the Marwadi chicken dish was unexpectedly spicy, which might catch some diners off guard. Such a nice place with the best Tandoori Chicken!! If you want something else then vegetarian food, you must try this restaurant. They prepare the chicken fresh in this big tandoori oven and serve it with cabbage. The Chicken Biryani is also one of the best I have tasted in Rajasthan. Chapati are made fresh as well and the Dal Fry is really tasty. Indian prices, good in balance with the quality of the food.

Such a lovely place to be, the chef is Pahadi and the food had this pahadi flavour which we loved the most. We were a group of 12 and within minutes they were serving us everything. Loved the service, ambience and mehmaan nawaazi. Food was on point, veg and non veg both. Unique flavours which you will just love.

Great relaxing spot for breakfast and coffee. The staff is kind and service is quick. We had muesli yoghurt and coffee. The quality of the coffee is good (not Nescafé) and they do a proper latte. The muesli & yoghurt was also satisfactory and a good switch from local cuisine once in a while. View is also nice, and the place is not too crowded as it can only host about 20 people, which makes for a calm atmosphere while enjoying the views.

A Coffee Lover’s Dream in Jaisalmer We stumbled upon this gem on our first day in Jaisalmer, and after that, there was no question—we went back every single day. This place serves the best coffee we’ve had in India, and honestly, better than most in Europe. We tried a variety of drinks, from the Cafe The Hell with cardamom to a cinnamon latte and even an espresso tonic—each one was excellent. The vegan milk options were plentiful, but the real standout was the freshly made coconut milk—light, unsweetened, and worlds apart from the packaged stuff. The food? Equally outstanding. We had breakfast twice, and both times, it was exceptional. The vegan oatmeal with banana, cinnamon, and freshly shaved coconut was hearty and delicious, and the vegan pancakes? Absolute perfection. Made with puréed strawberry and banana, topped with fresh fruit (all rinsed with mineral water!) and crushed pistachios—so fresh, so flavorful, so good you won’t care that they’re vegan. Picture proof attached! Beyond the food and coffee, the owner was incredibly friendly, even sharing tips for our travels in Jodhpur and Udaipur. And let’s not forget the stunning view—we didn’t catch the sunset from here, but I can only imagine how spectacular it must be. You don’t have to be vegan to appreciate the brilliance of this place. It’s a must-visit in Jaisalmer Fort—a true gem!

Highly recommend trying their saffron coffee, the speciality its known for. The best time would be to visit in the evening so you can glimpse a sight of the greatest sunset views you will ever witness!

We stopped here for lunch. We ordered kadi pakoda, paneer butter masala, plain rice, tawa roti and bajra roti. The food tasted good, except for the pakoda in the kadhi which could have been a little softer. The service was quick and the staff was also polite and courteous. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Would definitely return next time I am in Jaisalmer.

Ambience is very calm and the lawn adds beauty to this restaurant. Food quality is good and taste is fantastic. Restroom is clean which is such a relief for tourist especially if one has checked out. Management is supportive and service is quick. There is plenty of parking available inside the compound.

Would give negative if there was option. Worst restaurant ever. Waited for 2 hours and not a single dish served. They can’t manage properly and were serving in random order. And the manager showed attitude on top of that. Visited on 23 Oct. Finally had to leave with two toddlers, without any food. Avoid at any cost.

I love this coffee shop! They've got a crazy-long coffee list (e.g. coffee with cardamom or... lemon!), but their cortados are perfection. If you're Spanish, you'll feel right at home. The owner must add magic (or drugs 😜) to the coffee beans because it's seriously addictive. And the bookstore attached! Dream come true. Grab a coffee, snuggle up with a book, and you're set. A little precious niche inside the Fort of Jaisalmer! The place is small but cozy and relaxing, you can buy a good book, have a cup of the best and gingery chai of all Jaisalmer and chat with the owner and the people coming here that are all very nice and friendly. It's the perfect place to rest and relax after a visit of the fort or to come for a calm breakfast: the narrow street is also far enough from the chaos of the more crowded turistic places. Very much recommended!

This coffeeshop is a treat and a wonderful "retreat" from the holiday chaos. The coffee was fantastic, Pankaj, the owner, literally makes the best coffee I have had in Jaisalmer. The fruit, curd muesli for breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere of the shop is delightful with his adjoining bookstore and several sitting areas.....the lower sitting area is fun with lovely wall hangings and a great place to sit and visit and share stories with other travelers.

We had a Belgian waffle and a couple of milkshakes. Belgian waffle wasn't good at all. It was just about average. And so was the case with the milkshakes. Doesn't really justify the price. But what I loved about this place was the service and ambience. It was great. Excellent coffee, mixed fruit muesli and friendly people...an update...I am still in Jaisalmer and Traveler's Cup is still the very best! Pankaj has added Porridge with Mixed Fruit and honey to the menu....Oh So Good! And the presentation, as with all he does, is beautiful! We traveled with our family from Maharashtra to Jaisalmer and decided to visit The Turban Restaurant, one of the top-rated non-vegetarian restaurants according to public reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka, but after about 10 minutes, the waiter suggested we try Chicken Tikka instead. We agreed, but what was served to us was a stale starter. The food was cold, and when we questioned it, the waiter claimed it was freshly cooked but had cooled due to the winter weather. However, it was clear to us that the food was not fresh and had likely been prepared for other customers earlier. We also ordered Dal Khichdi for our kids, and it, too, was stale. When we mentioned that it tasted off, the waiter blamed the tomato for the sour taste. The service was poor, with no basic accompaniments like salad provided. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Jaisalmer. Despite its high ratings on Google, our visit left us wondering if the reviews are genuine.

Great restaurant all around, really glad to have gone there to eat! It was a one man band doing it all as it was less busy when we went but he was very nice and the food also great! He replaced some ingredients a little bit to make the food less spicy for us too. Would definitely recommend visiting. Would have gone a 2nd time in our short stay in Jaisalmer if we weren't short on time!

As if the majestic view of the mighty, Jaisalmer Fort from the rooftop restaurant was not enough, the food here is incredible. We asked them to prepare the local dish of Laal-maans (laal = red, maans = goat-meat), which is prepared from a special variety of red chilli only grown in Rajasthan. And what a great one it turned out to be! Other dishes were prepared equally well; we had ordered shahi-paneer, chicken butter masala and naan. The service was quick. The atmosphere is soothing with tasteful instrumental music playing all along, the seating comfortable and the clear night-sky & the cool-breeze only add to the coziness. All in all, a great experience! I'd visit again.

I’ve been in Jaisalmer for over two weeks and without a doubt the Turban Restaurant has the best rooftop views in all of the city. Enjoying a masala chai while watching the sunset is one of my favourite things to do. Also the staff are really welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The place is great if you are near to the fort and want to dine-in. We had dal bati churma here and they made it fresh which obviously takes a bit more time but the taste is worth waiting for. They are so generous to provide us extra ghee to enjoy our meal happily. We were so full with our meals and went happily with full satisfaction.

Fine place for a late lunch after hours of exploring the Jaisalmer fort and palace. My shabnam curry (mushrooms and paneer) with garlic naan was super delicious and piping hot. I enjoyed a nice view of the street bustle from the eatery's second floor patio dining area. My best meal in Jaisalmer!

1.Jaisalmer have many restaurants but very few who serve you with the best meal or I would say full paisa wasool meal. I ordered mushrooms and okra fry with Indian roti and raita. Tasted like home cooked meal. portion size was decent. 2. They cook the moment they receive the order. 3.This reataurant is situated opposite to Fort and gives a beautiful view and vibe. 4.I visited this place during night time and it was amazing only one thing which could be a annoying for others could be the traffic noise. But I think when you have a good company you won't even think of it. 5. Staff was also good. On and all it was a great experience👍🏻

Food was good, tables and chairs were good, and the service was good. Minus 2 stars because the Coke wasn't very cold, I was way overcharged (but the staff fixed it immediately when I bought it to their attention), and then it took a very long time to get simple change. Price is very high for the quantity of food they offer and the place. We were looking a casual normal dinner and the place looked appropriate for it, but it was not to be. The price were fairly high as compared to a few restaurants that we earlier visited. Quantity was less, service was poor and slow. Also when asked for an ice cream, which was priced at 40, they gave us 10rs cup of vanilla ice cream 😂. We were expecting a scoop, but they gave the cup. Luckily it has some insect in it, so we returned it and cancelled the order. Strictly advised to avoid.

Restraunt serves all kinds of food including Dal Bati Churma and Laal Maas which are delicacies of Rajasthan. For service and taste of food 5/5. Location is just opposite the main entrance of gate Ambience 4/5. Better to sit on terrace on second floor. Rate are not very high if u look at the tourist place. Overall a nice experience of dining.

No idea why it's got a 4+ rating. Okayish place, very close to the fort for sure but there isn't much of a view if inside and the balcony wasn't prepared for people hence the sitting was inside or in another balcony facing other buildings. Disappointed, food was Bleh not at all coming back.

Fotiya Cafe: Hidden Gem with a Korean Twist! Fotiya Cafe! My friend and I visited Fotiya’s for lunch during our stay in Jaisalmer. We ordered kimchi bokumbap and bibimbap… both were delicious! And even though “iced tea” wasn’t on the menu, the manager kindly made me a glass. We definitely encourage you to check out their tasty Korean options! What a lovely surprise within a desert!

It was a great experience sitting on the roof top enjoying the desert breeze while feasting on Korean food. Especially like the bibimbak, surprise to see how creative they are in using local veg to create this dish.

We decided to visit this restaurant to enjoy some Korean food, as we had been eating Indian cuisine throughout our trip and were eager for something different. To our surprise, the waiter who took our order was also the chef preparing the Korean dishes. He was exceptionally friendly and even doubles as a tuk-tuk driver, offering rides to various destinations. He charged us 100 rupees for a ride from the restaurant to Jaisalmer Fort. While we’re not certain if this price is standard, we were happy to pay, especially given how delicious the Korean food was. We highly recommend this place for a unique experience—having Korean food in Jaisalmer is a rare treat!

Great food. Done of the best Kachoris i have ever had. I have been here at least 5 times since my first visit. The Rajasthan thali and the kadi especially was fantastic. The service is great. The location is very clear to the fort. Digital payments are all accepted. They also have a sweet shop and the kesar rabri was delicious

Highly perfect place in regarding with location as it's located just in front of the city fort of jaisalmer. Food was okayish but yeah hygiene wasn't prominent thing to be appreciated. Prices were also not fair enough for the foods which were served for us. Just immediate check in for fast food can be done here & not for any otherwise plans. The flavours in each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients tested incredibly fresh. I love the vegan options available. Disturb went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable they were attentive without being intrusive. Just restaurant has a cosy and charming atmosphere from the movement to walk and you feel right at home. A great spot for families the kids menu hand various healthy options and the staff were very accommodating to our little ones .

Lovely place to dine, have breakfast and not to mention evening snacks... Very economical. I would definitely recommend Lassi at this place. One of the best Restaurant available near the Jaisalmer Fort. If you are in the area and looking for a good restaurant then you need to definately check this one out. We had all of meal here only. They had a wide variety lf dishes from breakfast to dinner to dessert, all were really amazing. We had Aaloo Parathas, Dhosa, Paneer Bhurji, Daal Makhni with Chhachh. In dessert we had Ras Malia which was very tasty. The best part is all the food is very reasonable for the price they are asking. This restuarant is highly recommended.

The rooftop restaurant is beautiful. The service is unbelievably fast and yet preserving the quality of food. The food is very tasty. We tried their Aloo jeera vegetable, mix veg, and paneer butter masala gravy which I would highly recommend everyone to try. Their veg biryani is absolutely beautiful. Such a pathetic experience in jaisalmer i reserved a table for me and my elder brother They ruined my evening. They can't served A sweet lassi in half an hour even there is only 5 guest in their restaurant then we asked how much time will they take then the sever said still 15-20minute to serve. I given the order 20:10 pm and then 20:45pm their server came to reconfirm that your lassi is (Sweet or Salty) please don't go to this restaurant

Stayed in the hotel, had breakfast. Seating area with the rooftop is pretty good with a clear view of the fort. Staff is pleasant, food was decent. Pancakes, french toast and chicken sandwiches were fresh and well prepared.

Recently, we visited Shanti, the peace restaurant and ordered food like Pancake paratha. The taste of the food is quite good and the rates are not too high. You can spend 200 Rs each per person. The owner of the cafe Mahindra Singh or Happy is an interesting person you can talk to to gain information about Jaisalmer.He also speaks many languages like French English Italian Japanese. From the cafe you can view the entire city and fresh air passing from it. Highly recommended. Visit once when you are in Jaisalmer.

I am Agostina from Argentina :) This place is really pretty, peaceful as it says and the owners are very welcoming (Falite even inows spanish so is uselful if you dont understand much english). The food is delicious, I had the traditional Rajastani dish: DAL BATI, and ir was awesome. They prepare the food as someone comes so You can be sure that it will be FRESH and GOOD, if u expect this place to be fast food, it wont. Beautiful peaceful rooftop with view towards the dessert. Such a great find within the fort. The name lives up to expectations- tucked away, the restaurant offers peace away from the hustle and bustle. Every cafe says best view. THIS is the best view. The good is also excellent and the staff cheerful and helpful. Good prices. Our most enjoyable place to eat and watch time slide by.

We went here for dinner. The entrance is decent enough however the restaurant from within is below average. The food in general in Jaisalmer is cost and so is this place. The quantity of the food was also less and nothing great about the taste. We went little late (may be 9) and it was winter so the restaurant was quite empty and staff was also not very active. There was also old music being played which was good.

This is a standard joint. We had ordered for veg pulao, veg biryani, tava chapati, paneer handi, and a mutton recipe. The mutton recipe and paneer handi was okay. The veg pulao and biryani was not good. The fresh lime soda was also not prepared properly. And they served expired soft drinks, we had brought this to their notice but they seems to be not aware of it.

Ordered lal maas. Average taste. 3 star rating for their kind gesture . They made spiceless small portion of dal for my daughter and didn't even charge for it even when we wanted to pay. You can have food here. But if not, nothing great you would miss.

Tried laas maas for the first time,and had an amazing experience here. The curry specifically was delicious. Mr.Haneef's hospitality, always conversing with his folded hands really won our hearts.

"Government Authorized Bhang Shop" is well-known bhang shops in Jaisalmer. It's reputed for its various bhang-infused products such as cookies, chocolates, and beverages. It is located beside Jaisalmer fort. I just took photos from outside as I was passing by the shop.

Its totally legit and Govt authorised. The lassis are tasty but not potent. The super strong ones are very mild/negligible for intermediate bhang enthusiasts. Cool people though, and a novel and fun experience to have at Jaisalmer!

Yes, you get real Bhaang Lassi here and it's legal. They have been selling Bhaang Lassi here from the 50 years. We tried Dry Fruit Lassi at Rs. 300 and Normal Lassi at Rs. 150. I have been to here for a dinner after busy day. Was very relaxing atmosphere. Felt home away from my home. Very friendly owner and staff. The food was good and value for money. Location was fantastic at the roof top over looking the city.

We went there for the very first time and the only thing we found good here was the atmosphere of the restaurant but that too was not the best. The view of the jaisalmer city from the restaurant was the only good thing. Food was like 3 out of 10. Butter naan was not like one... It was like butter on maida paratha. Dal tadka didn't have any taste at all. Mix veg was not good at all. They can improve it by making it more dry. Rs 200 plain rice was like only 100 grams. Tea was however good. The rate of food was not worth it. They need to change or wash the cover of the chair and sofa cushions.

We had a great time there , staffs are so friendly and you will get much help on sight for all Activities, Rooftop view is good with plants accommodation us , We were 3 people group and we really spend a whole day on the restuarant, must visit.

The surya restaurant is a charming place with incredible views of the city Jaisalmer. You can choose first or second floor and spend a nice time there. Customer service is at the highest level, whatever you need or ask they kindly listen and do their best. Thank you for unforgettable time! Beautiful view from here! Staff is very friendly. I ordered Maharaja Thali and it was really yummy. Property is amazing. Couldn't see the rooms here but i am sure they would be good too. A bit away from the usual crowd inside fort. Recommended.

Stayed here during my Jaisalmer trip and I can’t tell enough how good this property is and how awesome the people here are. Special mention of Akku Bhaiya and Bhupendra bhaiya. The food, the rooms and the views are all top notch perfect. Just near The main temple chowk and very easily accessible. Parking available and non veg is really good.

This is a vegetarian restaurant with very nice view of Jaisalmer Fort. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The menu offers Indian, limited Chinese and Italian. We ordered pasta and North Indian cuisine, our usuals paneer, dal, roti and rice along with one vegetarian option and salad. More than the food we were more excited with the outdoor area as the fort was looking lovely at night. We did our photo session making sure that each and every one gets a nice pic with the fort as a backdrop. Coming back to the restaurant, the food was decent and service was good too.

This restaurant has very good atmosphere. The interior of Rajasthan is very good sense and can eat on the lovely patio. I ate delicious Indian foods at a reasonable price. The manager is very kind and honest. When I go to Jaisalmer , I go to this restaurant always. He is an important friend. The staffs are friendly and helpful. You can get excellent service. I recommend it highly. I remember happy time at this restaurant.

I came here because of the convenience of it being next door to my hotel for a quick breakfast bite. After ordering the rajastani breakfast which was absolutely fantastic (you gotta try the poova!) I knew I had to come back after the owner Neev tells me his specialty if pizzas and indian food. I did just that, and I decided to trust Neev to make me whatever he wanted. He gave me veg pizza and a typical Rajasthani curry (not sure what is called) which was both absolutely fantastic. I highly reccomend anyone to come here if they are in jaisalmer fort. (View is good too apparently but I was too focused of the food!)

We wandered in quite by chance and though a tiny restaurant, the host Naveen was really good. We wanted to try an authentic Rajasthani dish and though it wasn't on the menu, Naveen got his mom to make us Dal Bhati Churma! It was so so delicious. Def worth a visit for the hospitality!

Incredibly tasty meal, the wonder is kind and spoke with us for a few minutes to describe all the dishes and the history of the restaurant. We ate well and were looked after very well. Highlights were Ker Sangri and mix panner bhurji. The setting is nice and I look forward to returning.

Dal Makhani was undercooked and well below expectations. The Paneer was okay, but overall, the food had very less spices and salt, which made it quite plain. They did prepare the food fresh, but it took around 25 minutes to serve just Tawa Roti, Dal, and Paneer. Overall, the food quality and flavor could be improved.

The atmosphere was great. Very relaxed and chilled. Myself and my wife both had the Rajaisthani Thali. This was one of the best meals we have had in our entire Indian travels. Lots of different dishes, each cooked perfectly. Cannot recommend it more. I wish we had found it sooner.

A hidden gem in the heart of the city. This is a quaint restaurant very near to fort parking. The ambience is very relaxing and cosy with a rooftop sitting for view of the fort. The food is top notch in taste and quality as well. They even accommodated our request for ginger-black pepper hot milk very late night. Must visit.

Natraj is an excellent vegetarian restaurant, one of the best I have tried in Jaisalmer ! It is very clean, lighty and comfortable. There is a balcony with fort and street views. Ordered Kaju curry which was very average and gravy was not fresh. 2) Service was poor. There were 2 boys who were not trained in servicing customers. Didn't bother to ask for extra chapati even we were the only customers in the restaurant, we had to call them from outside the seating area every time. 3) The staff didn't know about Jaisalmer as we were enquiring about a place and the guy had no clue. Great restaurant and location with sweeping views of the city. Food and service are excellent, there are many local options on the menu. It was very hot after lunch and the staff let me chill in the restaurant until the heat subsided.

This restaurant is located inside the fort. Its has a small, shaded and cozy seating area overlooking the entire Jaisalmer city. We went there in the afternoon for lunch. Had laal maas which was good in taste. This place is a good option to beat the afternoon heat. One can sit and relax. And you will end up taking amazing pictures, as the setup is ethnic and rural.

It is located inside the fort with superb good view from the rooftop, it is very comfortable and chill to dine in at the rooftop in the evening time. There is a lovely indoor seating as well, I have spent the whole afternoon here, and I am in love with this place. The staffs they are very friendly and attentive. The food is very delicious and affordable. Must try their Laal Maans! I will definitely come back again!

To be honest, we went to eat at Shree Ji excellency restaurant but we only saw chaos there. Kanishka restaurant is right opposite of it. And they did not disappoint at all. The food was amazing. We ordered a Rajasthani Thali and Dal bati churma Thali. The portion and quality was way beyond 2 people’s expectations haha Everyone must go there if you are in Jaisalmer. I would rate them 6 star out of 5. 👌

Food is tasty (loved it) and is air conditioned .Serving staff stood near us while we ate ,not leaving us to eat alone.And the area was more filled by non guests than guests.Last but not least,there are other restaurents in this area too ,and atmosphere in retaurent is good.But area around it is filthy and smells a lot.

We had dinner at this restaurant on 28th November 2022. Enjoyed the ambience, taste of food and above all the service. We liked the 'open to sky' provision in the dining area. Hanging lamps gave a heritage look. Tharun Bhaiya served us well by explaining about each and every dish. We are from Chennai. Liked to relish local Rajasthani dishes. We enjoyed the way he explained us on how to eat 'Dal Bhati Churma' the traditional way. General opinion about this place is that the price is high. But we felt 'value for money'. If you visit there after reading my review say hello to Tharun Bhaiya and enjoy his service.

A brilliant experience at Marriott Hotel, Jaisalmer! The food was amazing, and the live music at WYRA Restaurant made the evening even more special. This is a must visit place be it breakfast,lunch or dinner. The menu is very exclusive and absolutely tasty. I appreciate the chef's of this restaurant as they exactly know the flavours required in each dish. The staff is very well mannered and serves you with at most respect and priority. Mr RajSingh was very much on edge to help us with whatever we need. The view from this restaurant is just breathtaking and shouldn't miss it. The restaurant also showcases talent with dancers and folk music players in the evening during dinner time. It was an amazing experience. One word - Eccentric.

Amazing view, disappointing food. The lake view at sunset is stunning and the service was friendly and efficient, but the food was below average. The vegetable sizzler was mostly rice, the pakora was dry, and the Margherita pizza had odd sauce and unmelted cheese. A nice place for a drink and the view — but not for a meal.

Though the cafe sits on top of the Gadisar Lake and offers amazing view of the lake, but cafe is over-hyped for its food & services. The food was just average and the service is quite lethargic & substandard. Firstly no one is bothered to take orders, once ordered wait time is approx 25-30 mins even for milk shakes & cold coffee, food usually takes 45-50 mins. Also sadly the waiter does not even remember your order and has to be reminded multiple times. After almost an hour and half we gave up on the dish and decided to ask for bill and we left. To my surprise they had the audacity of charging us for the dish which was never served. Quite saddening experience for me.

The restaurant location was nice with many instagrammable spots. One can enjoy meals with a lake view. At night, there’s light fountain show in the lake. The food was average while the price being a little on the higher side. The kitchen area was little unhygienic. They didn’t provide spoon and glasses, we had to ask them again and again to provide it.

We had a very good time at Choki Dhani. Ali the reception guy was very humble and willing to help and show us around. Jitendra was very helpful with food and drinks and provided an amazing service. The whole staff was really good. How can I forgot pool and game zone. That was great too

Pathetic Experience, Not Worth Even a Single Star! Too bad! They claim this hotel to be a 3–4 star property, but the reality is completely opposite. You have to struggle for even the most basic amenities, so forget about any luxury experience here. I stayed from 13th to 14th November with a dinner and breakfast package. There were no tissues on the dining tables or with the plates, and when we asked, they brought one tissue every 10 minutes — literally one at a time! The same situation repeated during both breakfast and dinner. Food quality was pathetic — Chole was totally unripe, and Idlis were as hard as stones. I even called Mr. D. Khan (their chef) to share my feedback, but nothing really changed. Coming to the rooms — the misery continued. No hand towels, no hot water. I called their staff to fix the water issue, but it never worked. And here’s the worst part — they’re charging ₹119 for a 1-litre water bottle with an MRP of ₹20! I don’t know who authorised them to charge 600% above MRP, but it’s absolutely unethical. As for the tariff, they’ll happily quote you luxury hotel prices, but what you actually get is a below-average hotel, located 4–5 km away from the city with nothing nearby.

The hotel is in a good location and is rustic, but, there is no one to help you with your luggage. We had to carry out own luggage, both, at the time of check-in and check-out. Also, had some problems with AC in the room, which for some reason wasn't cooling enough .

Hotel is good and staff is nice. Jaisalmer fort is around 10mim drive from the hotel and is ideal for family. Complimentary breakfast is served. Hotel architecture is very nice and good for photography from outside and inside too.

There were a some mosquitoes in the premises. We also got food in almost an hour even when we arrived at peak dinner time during season. Overall the food was okay but it was served so far apart that we were eating breads without vegetables and vegetables without bread.

Easy to locate the restaurant is beside the road. No parking facility but you can park your car beside the road. A spacious dining establishment in Jaisalmer with an atmosphere that lives up to its reviews. The food was of very high quality. The service is excellent, and the staff members are both interactive and very helpful. If you find yourself in Jaisalmer, make it a point to check out OTR at least once; you won't be sorry you did.

The place is located on the road to Sam Dunes, as the name suggests. We ordered their premium rajasthani thali and it was a nice experiance. The place was clean without any special decor and the Ambiance was average mess styled but the food was pretty good. They tried to provide authentic Western rajasthan taste in the Platter and I would visit again to try more from them.

Food is absolutely delicious and we’re the first people to eat that day. Easy lunch and decent prices. All the items are great we tried their local one taste pretty decent. Cutlery was clean and nice. Ambience is okay and service was okay food quality and quantity and price were great.

Was newbie to Jaisalmer and wanted to taste Rajasthani specialities. Mr.Ganpat Singh was extremely helpful with our choices and food was extremely good. Don't miss the Dhal Bati Churma - highly recommended. Butter milk was also very nice.

Nice place near to the hotel area for lunch and dinning. The rates are something expensive compared to the hotel but good arrangement. Usually the order is arriving late and too much chaos as there is lesser space for the tables. We have to wait for our order. The hotel is having good amount of seating capacity. Food is good but someday expensive.

Never go to this restaurant. Taxi drivers usually take tourists to this eatery. When we ordered food, there was rat dropping in the rice. On enquiring from the waiter, he admitted the fact and offered to change the portion. But we declined and walked away. We warned other gueats seated there also.

Great lunch here on way to Sam. Nice place within serves Indian/Chinese/Italian food. Paneer Tikka and Pizza were good, Honey chilli potato and Hakka noodles ok. Indian food was all good. Service was quick. Staff were really polite and good. Will recommend.

Brilliant hotel, beautiful rooms loved the day bed area to relax in the room that had a view of the fort. The staff and the man who we think is the owner or manager were all so welcoming, constantly asking if there was more they could do to help. This is a luxury hotel that gives a 5 star feel,the pool looks amazing sadly we didn't have time to use. This is the best hotel we have stayed in across India & we have been to many places. Even by UK standards this is definitely a 5 star hotel with 5 star service. We had a safari prebooked through another company but they didn't care, they offered to store our bags, offered us a room to rest and shower once we returned at no extra charge. They have a fridge in the sitting area downstairs where you can get bottles of water for free at anytime. Brilliant hotel, you never know what you are booking when it comes to hotels online sometimes but this one goes above and beyond definitely worth a stay.

Excellent property in hospitality and service for a family stay in Jaisalmer. Well located and well maintained with very good amenities. Kids enjoyed the dip in the pool. GREAT view of the Jaisalmer fort from the terrace. Mr. Paramjeet Singh was very responsive and helpful in guiding us through out our trip in Jaisalmer. It was a memorable one for us. Roof top restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed our stay from 23rd sep to 26th sep and look forward to visit again.

Stayed at Lalgarh Fort and Palace for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. The place has a royal vibe with clean, comfortable rooms and beautiful views. The best part was the hospitality — everyone was so warm and helpful. A big shoutout to Sultan, who guided us about the city tour and even came along to help us buy Jaisalmer’s famous sweets. Really appreciate that kind of genuine care and effort. Haven’t seen service like this anywhere else. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Jaisalmer!

Very good hotel, the service was good except for the reception. The guy in the reception was not impressed with Indian guests. If you are a foreigner with white skin, he will do anything for you. Even though we were the first to arrive we were asked to wait to be checked in since a group of foreigners came in later. It was a very bad experience. The restaurant was great. Do not miss it. Great food and great service and great views. The room was large and well appointed. Overall very good experience.

Overall it was a nice experience. Nice place to stay and their desert safari package was good to. Restaurant ran by a different outfit. Almost all restaurant staff were bengalies. Food was nice. Towels and bedsheets are a bit on the faded and pale looking . Wi fi is not good. Hotel staff behaviour is very good.

Excellent experience at Hotel Lal Garh Fort and Palace. The rooms are amazing, the restaurant is great but foremost the team is extremely benevolent (thanks again Padam) to ensure a perfect stay to their guests. I would warmly recommend Lal Garh and Palace without any hesitation!

We had a very enjoyable lunch and dinner here the food was very tasty with a number of local dishes to the owners recipe. We were very lucky to be joined by Anil the owner a very knowledgeable and friendly person who was also kind enough to allow us to meet the kitchen staff and learn how to make a garlic naan! Our driver recommended us this place. They have very beautiful entrance and decor. The ambience is quite warm and cozy. The food is super delicious and fresh. Their service is prompt. The staff is friendly, courteous and polite. We ordered Rajasthani styled chicken, jungle paratha and chicken fried rice. The food is good and potion is small. They serve halal food. They said they do accept card however their machine was not working(did not saw the machine).This place was little untidy and not clean. And this might be because we reached very early ( by 11:30 am). The second and most annoying part was that it had lots of flies which caused us lots of trouble. I hope they work on these things and make their customers experience even more better.

I though this was ok. Maybe 3.5 I was eating on my own and had the chilli paneer. It was ok as not the way unlike it made. The portion seemed generous with quite sizable chunks of paneer. I paid just under 300 rupees with a drink.

Coke price is too high they dont sell on mrp for 40rs can they charged 200rs per can. Stupidity at peak. What they think of people no idea.

In general one of the best hotels I ever stayed at. The staff is incredibly dedicated. They serve complimentary tee, coffee and water. The pool is refreshing the restaurant serves tasty food with an amazing view an the castle. The best thing are the rooms. They are spacious the bathroom is super nice and clean and the furniture adds a unique ambience to the room.

Stellar option for visitors of Jaisalmer. I was apprehensive when booking this hotel as the pictures were almost too good. In reality, the hotel is even better! I overbooked for our group by one room, my mistake. The property worked with me to find amicable solution. After that minor hiccup, we were free to enjoy the property which includes a plunge pool, well equipped gym, spa (two in our group used and very much enjoyed), and my favorite part, two private outdoor sitting areas where I could work remotely work. My room was outstanding, with a separate living quarter, large bath and large sleeping area. Desert modern architecture done well. Breakfast was hearty, helpful service. In fact the entire staff was helpful and friendly. This hotel was an unexpected treat in the desert. So close to the fort entrance, nearby restaurants. Their roof top restaurant was tasty. Without doubt we would stay here again.

But unfortunately, the thing that matters the most, food, is where the cafe lacks. We were served complimentary papad and chutney where the chutney smelled. When raised, the server was sure it was not, and what could one day after that. Next we ordered a veg grilled sandwich which was absolutely average. The fettuccini basil pasta was decent but very oily with tooth breaking bread. The saving grace was the mint cucumber slush which made me less angry. So yeah, go for the pics, sit for a beer, but avoid the food.

Pleasantly surprised by this fusion restaurant. Very kind and attentive staff. Don’t hesitate to try something from their Italian menu. I am sure you won’t be disappointed. The chocolate syrup on top of such a nice mousse was the only bummer.

We visit the restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. The food was always satisfying and the service provided was top. Very attentive and kind staff. The atmosphere is great and the view is lovely.

We went there after reading good reviews but we were totally disappointed. Firstly it was located two and half steep floors high on terrace in a shabby building. Secondly when we reached at 8 PM, it was totally empty. The washroom was not clean. The decor was very basic. The white wine was available but at room temperature. We left the place and went to another restaurant.

I just had a wonderful rajasthani dinner. This rooftop restaurant is just awesome and the food taste is really amazing. One must try LAAL MAANS (Simply Delicious) with Butter Naan. A must try for everyone.

Went here after seeing the list of top 10 restaurants from TripAdvisor. The restaurant is on the roof top. The haveli, in which the restaurant is, has a number of rooms for accommodation too. We ordered Paneer Pasanda, Jeera Aloo, Rotis, Cold Coffee and Lemon Soda. All were good. Paneer Pasanda, being listed in the ‘Our Specialities’ justified its place. The space is airy and being on the rooftop , it would be better suited to visit during mornings and evenings. We visited during the noon. Service was quick. Staff was courteous. Recommended. Nice roof top restaurant with good ambience and seating arrangements. Staff behaviour is also very nice. Not so costly. Service is bit delayed during crowded times. So recommend to go bit early if you want to receive your order sooner. Room service is also available for evening snacks and tea. Request to have exact change in cash for payment or QR code got payment through UPI.

This is the only structure in the fort with so many vibrant colours painted on walls to give that tibetian vibes. From outside, it looks like a regular tibetian restaurant. When we enquired, we were surprised that they have rooftop sitting area as well. The next thing I saw was the most beautiful and amazing view you can get of the fort and city. This is one of the fort’s watch towers! You can have a drink, eat and enjoy the view, which you will never het tired off. Must try Chicken Thukpa. Tastes very authentic 👌 Did try chilli potato as well, but was oily. Must visit place in Jaisalmer at evenings.

We loved this place so much that we went there twice on our short visit to Jaisalmer. The rooftop is an amazing spot providing with you a very wide view of the city. The food is also amazing. Shoutout to Rudra bhai for his warm gesture. Recommended to everyone who visits Jaisalmer.

Great Spaghetti served with Indien taste. Momos are stunning. Really friendly manager, he showed us Rummy, an Indian card game aswell :D. Can fully recommend that place. Also the view from the rooftop is great. The rooftop is very nice and chill. Drinks and food are super delicious. We went their two times during our short stay at Jaisalmer. :)

This is a really nice place. Perfect view and awesome food. Chicken Thukpa is really good. The Chinese food that I miss the most. Nice view of jaisalmer Fort. Must come. And the boss here are really friendly, he let us try the hookah too. Had a good time here.

Little Tibet restaurant is the place to visit during your trip to Jaisalmer. The food is amazing (you should try the fry veg momos), the staff is nice and friendly. What can I say about the view ? Just beautiful, especially for sunset !

Little Tibet Restro is a cozy little restaurant with its rooftop seating where you get to see the city view. The food they serve are really tasty. Most of the meals I had in Jaisalmer is here at the Restro. I liked their chicken curry with rice, chilly chicken and more. Not just the food.., the view is so refreshing. And not to forget the host are friendly and kind. The Restro is located inside the fort. One must give a visit while in Jaisalmer. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is called little Tibet. But in google map it shows as Jaisalmer Tibet. It is inside the fort and you can have nice Tibetan cuisine with view of city during the sunset. I think this place has very good sunset view and you should definitely try once.

The best food I’ve ever had in Jaisalmer, with such cleanliness and a top-notch ambience. The peace and calmness were unmatched, and the taste was simply beyond comparison. The only place where coffee actually feels like coffee to me.

We ordered the punjabi thali. One spicy and other was not spicy at all. 380 rupees per thali is a really good price. I felt bad that I couldn't finish it all as the quantity was too much. After travelling across Rajasthan, I had the best punjabi food in this restaurant.

We loved this restaurant and had lunch here as often as we could. The rooftop space is very relaxing with wonderful views of the Jaisalmer fort. The owner welcomed us with a warm smile everyday and our waiter was exceptional and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients, cooked with love and beautifully served. The Rajasthan Thali is a must, best we had anywhere. We hope to return for dinner for the enchanting nighttime views. A lovely gem of a restaurant!
