55 South is a unique dining spot in Franklin, Tennessee, offering inventive Southern comfort food and specialty drinks. The restaurant is known for its weekend brunch featuring a build-your-own bloody mary bar. Nearby, there are other dining options like McCrearys, an Irish pub with good drink specials, and Sperrys which offers a darker ambiance. Franklin itself is a charming town just south of Nashville, filled with history, shops, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Heard about 55 South on a local television show segment fairly recently. We were in Franklin today, so we decided to stop in. We went on a Wednesday during lunch hour. There was no wait, even though we opted to be sat at the bar. It looks like they get a decent crowd for lunch. We were there to try the much hyped Garlic Parmesan Crab Fries. They have a huge selection of beer, and we noticed there was one featured on tap called UFO Maine Blueberry. We asked for a taste, and ordered two. It was really delicious, just the right hint of blueberry. The Garlic Parmesan Crab Fries didn't disappoint. Everything was on point, from the cook on the fries -perfect!, to that delicious lemon mayo. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes. I can't wait.

I found this place as I was leaving Franklin, and it is probably a good thing as I loved it so much I would be here every day if I could! The food was amazing, and the service was top notch. I had the Hot Chicken plate with coleslaw and cheese grits. Absolutely delicious! Their Fried Pickles are to die for as well! Get here, and get some scrumptious food in you, you will not be disappointed!

This was our first trip to Franklin,TN and this place was suggested. We were not disappointed. The meals were good with generous portions. Not too much, but not too little. I got the Dirty Bird just because it sounded interesting. It was, but in a good way. The chicken was a pulled chicken, which in my thoughts made it a much easier to handle sandwich rather than having a chicken breast slipping out of the bun. It had a nice little zip in the seasoning and all the ingredients played well off each other. Waitstaff was knowledgeable and very pleasant. She always kept our glasses ful and table cleared of all unnecessary plates or items. 5 of us were in our party and we were able to leave with a bill under $100. Of course we are non drinkers, and 3 people preferred water with their meal vs a soda, or sweet tea which is what I had. Would I return for a second or third dinner or lunch there? Absolutely! The food, the wait staff, and the prices all give it a 5 ⭐ rating from me. Stop in and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

From SoFlo. Hit this up with a group of six for a local meal. Overall atmosphere was fine. Par for the course. Waitress - - was very hospitable and kind (and purty). I ordered grilled chicken breast prepared blackened with rice and side Caesar salad ($18.99). Chicken was great and so was the rice and salad. Only complaint on my meal and my buddies is the quantity. The rice comes in a soup cup, sooo, not so much. If you choose the platter with jambalaya rice, also in a small soup cup. Portion needs to be much bigger. Other plates were the tacos and the catfish, which I solicited mediocre responses for. So, I’d still say try it, but you might still be hungry after your meal. I was. I still am! Prices were just under too much.

The Po Boy Remix was awesome and authentic. A taste of New Orleans that was very tasty and complemented by a draft local brew. So glad we stopped here for lunch while touring the town and shopping.

I can say with certainty that I’ll be making the drive or even the Uber ride from Nashville to Franklin every time I visit, just to eat at 55 South. The food is outstanding. They offer some healthy options, but I decided to take the indulgent route (and run a few extra miles later). Everything was spectacular. All amazing flavors, great ambience, and excellent service. An absolute must try if you’re in the area. And whatever you do, don’t skip the deviled eggs
SueEllen B — Google review
I truly hate having to write this review because I’ve always loved 55 South. I also never write reviews for places either. I’m a Franklin native and have been coming here for years here and there.. it’s always been my go-to spot for great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and an easy recommendation to anyone looking for a solid local meal. That said, my last visit.. as well as a few recent visits from friends..have been really disappointing due to poor service. We were seated near the bar area, which I understand can get hectic, but our server was completely inattentive. We typically are seated in the dining room and never have a complaint about the service we receive. She spent much of the time hanging around and physically interacting with her significant other while we were waiting for basic things at the table. She forgot to ring in our appetizer (which came out after our entrées), left one friend unattended for nearly ten minutes while on her phone, and our drinks stayed empty for long stretches.😞 It’s frustrating because the food and atmosphere remain great, but the lack of professionalism from the staff really affected the experience for me and I’m sure many others. I don’t understand how this is allowed.

So far, this place is Tosha’s favorite spot in Nashville (actually in Franklin)! She got the Shrimp and Grits, and raved about her perfect choice for the rest of our trip 😁. I got the Chicken Biscuit & Sausage Gravy. It was good. The eggs were prepared very nice and soft. Our server was very astute, helpful and respectful. The location and atmosphere that 55 South offered is second to none! Note: Changing station in bathroom for the babies.

Southern restaurant (US)
Bar
Live music venue
GRAYS on Main is a rustic-chic cafe located in historic Franklin, offering Southern cuisine and craft cocktails in a charming setting. Housed in a Victorian building that was once a neighborhood pharmacy for almost 100 years, the restaurant features beautifully preserved interiors and an inviting bar area. The chef-driven menu showcases seasonal Southern fare made from locally sourced ingredients, while the drink selection includes delicious craft cocktails with a nod to the late 19th century culture.
We visited Gray’s on a busy Saturday for lunch without a reservation at 12:15, but were pleasantly surprised when they offered us a table reservation for 45 minutes later. This gave us the perfect opportunity to explore the charming downtown area, and our table was ready earlier than expected at 12:45. Our server, Kelsey, was exceptional, keeping our water and tea glasses full while checking on us just the right amount throughout the meal. The service was quick—our food arrived within about 15 minutes—and everything was delicious. We tried the chicken salad sandwiches, which were outstanding, paired with the best fries we’ve ever had. The pork belly lettuce wraps were equally amazing. The menu offers a unique taste that really sets this place apart. Gray’s has a cool vibe with rustic chic decor—exposed brick, warm wood accents, and vintage touches that give it a laid-back yet stylish atmosphere. The live music stage adds to the charm, and though we haven’t experienced the music yet, it’s definitely on our list for the next visit!
Sara M — Google review
The food and drinks at GRAYS on Main were excellent! The house Old Fashioned was amazing—perfectly balanced and smooth. The grilled chicken and strawberry spinach salad was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also had the fried green tomatoes topped with cheese and herbs, which were crispy and delicious. Unfortunately, the service was a bit lacking and the food took quite a long time to come out, which kept this from being a 5-star experience. Still, the quality of the food and drinks made it worth the wait. Would definitely come back!
Matthew — Google review
What a fun, lively evening with southern flare! We made reservations ahead of time and researched when live music would be playing, we reserved a table in the second floor near the stage and it was perfect! Katie provided exceptional service and we enjoyed every bite. The music was great and set the ambience for an enjoyable evening. I only wish there was a solution for the college kid sitting in the middle of the dining room, watching football on his phone and non-stop conversing with his girlfriend at such a loud volume trying to compete with the live music.
Rachel P — Google review
I can't say enough great things about this place! Really cool atmosphere. The rustic vibe and the Southern food made for an amazing time. We sat on the second floor near the stage and were treated to a great performance by Dylan J. (Singer/guitar player) The food was delicious. We asked the bartender to make us a refreshing drink and it was just okay but my friend had an old fashioned that was soooo good. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely go back. The service was on the slower side but we enjoyed that they weren't rushing us because we were enjoying the music. The carrot cake and the banana pudding were the stars of the night!! I'm craving that banana pudding right now!
Carole M — Google review
That pork chop! Oh my goodness that pork chop!!! The absolute best that I have EVER had hands down!! It was so incredibly tender and juicy. If you would have told me that it was a steak I would have believed you. My mother had the trout and loved it! They hand craft their own delicious cocktails including the mixers that they use. I was told that each bartender creates their own signature cocktail. I love this place and I make a point of stopping by every time I pass through Franklin.
Kim H — Google review
Grays on Main has quickly become one of our top dining spots in the area, and it's easy to see why. I highly recommend booking a reservation days to weeks in advance because this place is popular for all the right reasons. While waiting to be seated, the charm of downtown Franklin will keep you entertained with its array of sweet shops, unique stores, and lively bars. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere took us back in time, perfectly capturing the spirit of the 1800s when the town was founded. The entire table couldn't stop raving about the vibe—it’s truly something special. Now, onto the food, which was absolutely incredible. We ordered the fried chicken, figs wrapped in bacon, and the filet with a side of cheese grits. Each dish was a standout, but the steak was the real star. It was so tender it melted in my mouth—one of those steaks you savor with every bite, soft like butter and rich like bone marrow. Grays on Main is now our go-to spot for bringing friends and family for an unforgettable evening. If you're in Franklin, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You won't be disappointed!
Katherine E — Google review
We visited Grays on main for lunch and mocktails before heading on to Nashville. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming with a touch of Franklin pharmaceutical history. The mocktails were decent, and the birria Mac and cheese was creamy. We ordered the salads with chicken as well. These were not as big as expected, but they were delicious. I would recommend this place.
Erin G — Google review
A night out with friends is exactly what i needed after a long day. Grays was a great place to relax and unwind. Normally, I like to order beef, but I couldn't resist the swordfish with wild rice, carrots, and beets. The swordfish was cooked perfectly, and you will not hear any complaints about the sides from me. If you are ever in town or in Nashville, you should definitely head over to Grays

Steak house
Cork & Cow is a sophisticated steakhouse in Franklin, known for its refined classics and inventive cocktails. Executive chef Jason McConnell has made his mark on the city's dining scene with several successful eateries before transforming Sol into this upscale establishment in 2012. The restaurant's rustic yet elegant ambiance reflects influences from McConnell's previous ventures, offering a blend of local and regional flavors, Latin touches, and Deep South sensibilities.
Did not disappoint! Our first time as a new somewhat “local”. Sitting at the bar was worth the experience of getting to know many of the restaurant’s “regular” patrons. Good food, drinks and conversations along with a seasoned staff of excellent waiters and bartenders make the evening a repeat experience!
Adullam S — Google review
Was excited to eat at such a highly rated Steakhouse. Upon arrival I was greeted with warm smiles and kindness. Atmosphere was great! Reviewed the menu and thought I decided on the Chargrilled Oysters. Waited around and they never came. Ordered their Ole Fashioned and it was extremely sweet likely due to pre made mix. No cherry also! Decided on 45 day dry aged ribeye and it was a disappointment. Expecting a tender melt in your mouth steak and it wasn’t bad but far from the price point. Finally ordered crème burlee and it was watery. Could have been an amazing experience! Just never met my expectations. Other steakhouses I am been blown away at for comparison sake is Oak Steakhouse. Charleston, SC. Malones Lexington, KY, Halls Chophouse, Charleston, SC.

Great meal! My wife loved her filet and enjoyed my grouper and wedge salad. The sourdough focaccia is the bomb. So is the chocolate bomb desert. Dining area was a bit loud. That always depends on the crowd but the space between the tables also contributes. Convenient parking garage across the street.
Jeff Y — Google review
Had an incredible meal at Cork & Cow. The service was amazing. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, especially dealing with quite a large group. He had great recommendations. Food and drinks were incredible. Had the filet, which was one of the best I've ever had. Also tried the blue cheese risotto which was so unique and delicious. Appreciated the ambiance, experimental but approachable menu, and the top-notch service.

This place was rustic and somewhat quaint. And the food was tasty. We sat at the bar for an early dinner, bartender was very nice. An overall good experience!
Chase P — Google review
Jayde is the best bartender at Cork and Cow, she made our friend’s birthday dinner fun and memorable, and she always has the best service. Her cocktail skills are unbeatable! The food here is delicious, my personal favorite is the wedge salad as well as the bread and butter, the bread is heavenly. Great deals on wine, as well.
Becca R — Google review
I'm afraid this is a run-of-the-mill restaurant masquerading as a specialized, high-end place. While I was really excited to dine here, I quickly realized it wasn't what it claimed to be. A few examples: The "baby gem" salad was not gem lettuce; it was a field mix from a bag, covered heavily in dressing. We sent it back and complained; they removed it from our bill. The filet mignon, which cost $50+, was sinewy and misshapen; it was almost impossible to cut and was chewy. We complained and a modest adjustment was made to our bill. We were told something along the lines of "all animals grow in different ways." While there is truth to this, the role of the chef is to only serve the highest quality cuts of meat. Our son ordered the grouper; while the dish was good, the small amount of fish he received for the steep price was upsetting. While the service was very nice, and management was receptive, the overall experience was incredibly expensive (even with reductions) and disappointing. Alas.
Fellaball — Google review
Everything tasted amazing! My wife's medium filet was a little overcooked which didn't happen too often at a nice steakhouse but it was still really good. The only gripe I have was specific to the table we had, that it was dimly lit in the corner we were in. I could hardly see what I was eating, good thing it was amazing!

Culaccino Italian Restaurant + Bar is a well-known upscale eatery in Franklin, offering a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes. The restaurant's wood-fired pizzas are crafted with a three-day fermented dough and topped with inventive ingredients like hen of the woods mushrooms and taleggio cheese. Culaccino also boasts an unforgettable grilled octopus dish that surprises even non-octopus fans with its tenderness and exquisite flavor.
My best friend and I had lunch here today. It was excellent from start to finish . We had the meatballs and asparagus fritters for appetizers, the risotto and chicken thighs for entrees . Every single morsel of food was delicious. Our server was magnificent. The wine manager helped me with my selection and my wine was fabulous . We had an overall great experience .

Great place for an evening meal. We sat outside, enjoying the cool weather that is so unusual in early August. The bread and spread arrived pretty quickly. My wife liked the spread and I thought it was just ok (I would rather have plain butter). She ordered gnocchi and I the ravioli. The sausage with fennel in the gnocchi has incredible flavor. I was grateful that we share our food :) The ravioli was also great, less striking in flavor than the gnocchi but with an incredibly mellow and smooth flavor. Both dishes were great and I would have them again. Our waiter was prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. The time it took to get our food seemed very reasonable. This will be a revisit for us when we come back to Franklin.
Craig R — Google review
Went for lunch & overall a solid experience. Drinks were fabulous. Calamari was delicious - loved the fried lemon slices in the dish. It was a nice surprise. Pasta left something to be desired. Noodles were very thick and slightly under, and there was a lot of salt - probably from the peccorino. Could've used a squeeze of lemon to brighten it up. Risotto needed salt and less time in the pot, texture was almost too soft. Dessert was delicious- raspberry paired really nicely with the chocolate. It was on the dense side but wasn't too sweet. Great balance. Overall, great experience. Wait staff were very attentive and helpful. Looking forward to coming back.

If you are Gluten Free.. you need to RUN to this restaurant. They serve by far the BEST GF pasta in the area. I have tried so many italian restaurants in Middle tennessee and the flavor and texture of the noodles were perfect. So tasty. I specifically got the Campanelle and oh my! So delicious. They also have an amazing flourless chocolate cake that is divine. Usually when I've ordered flourless cakes in the past, they're SO rich. I can maybe have two bites. This cake? I devoured by myself. Perfection. Also, we ordered their special fall old fashioned but unfortunately only had enough to make one instead of three.. well they came up with a special old fashioned for two of us and wow was it good! I highly recommend this place! Everyone is so friendly too!

What a gem in downtown Franklin! We absolutely loved our experience at this amazing Italian restaurant. From the craft cocktails to the appetizers, salads, entrees, and even the gelato—everything was perfection. The watermelon spinach salad was a standout, with the perfect blend of fresh summer flavors. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and welcoming. It’s such a treat to have a place like this in downtown Franklin, and we already can’t wait to go back!

Reservations highly recommended. Food, service and quality very good. Homemade pastas. Pizza is authentic. We shared our meals and our server was kind enough to split the meal on two plates, without us asking. Good Italian wine selection. Parking can be tough, there is a free garage nearby.

This family-owned restaurant provides a diverse menu featuring succulent dishes such as miso sea bass and braised short rib, along with a wide array of signature maki and tapas. The restaurant's ambiance is enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows that create a sophisticated atmosphere.
What a great spot. Food was amazing! It was cold in dinning room but other than that everything was great. The salmon and pesto gnocchi was delicious and was a large portion. Short ribs were so tender and full of flavor. Definitely highly recommend! We will be back

This is one of those rare exceptional finds! I had the honey chicken, ginger salad, and tea. The salad and chicken was comparable in flavor and quality to rare authentic finds. On top of the exceptional food, the service is great. I did find it weird that I couldn't pay extra for honey chicken and fried rice but once I started eating - I had no desire for the fried rice because the chicken's flavor profile was already strong enough. I highly recommend!
Ben E — Google review
Highly anticipated and excited about eating here. Had lunch with a friend and although the overall experience was solid, the food was good. Nothing mind blowing or exciting. Everything was pretty solid but execution or flavor profile could have been better. Little too much rice in the sushi or missing little something. It was good, just not great.

My first time at Wild Ginger. I was in Franklin for a job interview and stopped in for lunch afterwards. The Scottish salmon entree was amazing, the sparkling sake, delicious. Sat on the banquette facing an enormous plate glass wall with a beautiful view of the patio and what appeared to be an exceptionally ambitious very early rose, if that’s even possible! Lovely view, great food. Will be going back.

It's a must go if you're in the neighborhood. Here's the Breakdown: Great food with good service in a funky spave +5 stars. I might go tomorrow.

I have been here a couple of times, but yesterday was my first time here with large group. They were very friendly and we were able to get a large table for party of 8. Food was delicious and my favorite menu was Hot Rock grill with kobe beef! They give you a hot stone where you cook your own beef and that was a cool experience! Sake selections are also decent. Junmai Taru Sake was our favorite. In summary, it was a fancy restaurant with great selection of menus for a decent price!!

This is such a nice Asian fusion restaurant where the sushi is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Their rolls menu offers a new/creative twist on traditional sushi. We ordered the Tsunami, Waikiki, and El Wildginger rolls, which were delicious. The service was quick and attentive. Our food arrived in less than 15 minutes. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!

Red Pony is a charming dining destination that beautifully marries sophisticated Southern cuisine with an inviting, low-lit atmosphere adorned in dramatic decor. The menu features a modern twist on classic dishes, making it a standout choice for food enthusiasts. Guests can indulge in creative cocktails inspired by the Grateful Dead, which add a fun touch to the experience. The appetizers are particularly noteworthy, showcasing delightful options like Parisian-style gnocchi and savory elk meatballs served with rich gravy.
My husband and I had dinner at Red Pony tonight for our anniversary. We have been wanting to try it for the longest time but they rarely have times available for dinner. Now, I understand why. The food was great. Our server was attentive. The atmosphere was nice although it did get really loud when a large party came in for dinner. Luckily, we were almost done. We will definitely be back!

Holy wow, that was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while! I got the ribeye and my wife had the chicken entree and we both agree our meals were amazing! We arrived and they told us it was an hour wait unless we wanted to go upstairs and wait for a table near the bar. When we went upstairs there were three tables open and I’m really sure the difference between the tables we were at and the “normal” ones. All that to say, skip the wait and go upstairs if you can. The food was pricey, but it was worth it!

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Our server made the experience wonderful. He was very attentive and knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is elevated but not fancy. There are about 10 tables and a large bar downstairs and more dining upstairs. We sat downstairs where you can see into the kitchen. The morning dew cocktail was sooo good-- not too sweet and definitely refreshing. For appetizers, we had the hamachi crudo, grilled halloumi and pork belly biscuits. Our favorite was definitely the biscuits. We did not care for the crudo. Although the fish itself was tasty, the heavy white sauce and large sunchokes took away from the delicate flavor of the fish. The biscuits, on the other hand, were addictive. The pork belly is served separately with an apple butter sauce, which was fantastic. We never had halloumi before and wanted to try it. We would definitely have it again. It came with grilled vegetables and you can definitely taste the grilling. For the entree we split the snapper. The fish seemed slightly overcooked but we enjoyed the corn, pico de gallo, fried onions and cornbread crumbles that came with it. It was large enough to share, especially after the three appetizers. We enjoyed creme brulee and chocolate mousse for dessert. Surprisingly, we thought the creme brulee was slightly better than the chocolate mousse. This is a nice spot to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend.

Great experience at The Red Pony! The red snapper was incredible probably the best I’ve ever had. The seafood pesto was a bit mild but still worth trying. Carnitas were super tender and flavorful, just not the traditional tortilla style. Shrimp and grits had a unique twist and were very tasty. The atmosphere was great, and even without a reservation, we were able to sit upstairs at the bar. The bartender was patient and gave excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! HUGE SHOUT OUT TO OUR SERVER ANNIE!!!! Let me start with we are out of towners... We've been coming to Franklin area for the last few years and I'm sad we just found this place!!!! The atmosphere was perfect, it felt small, personal, quaint, and intimate with an open view of the kitchen staff absolutely crushing it. The food was perfect. The drinks were not to be missed out on, and the cherry on top was our amazing waitress Annie!!! We've had some great memories here in the Franklin area and this was one of the memories that we were blessed to be able to make that will absolutely make the top of the list. If you have the opportunity to stop in and don't... you are missing out and have made a mistake!! Hats off to the GM and ownership of this place. Keep up the great work!!

Red Pony is a fantastic restaurant in downtown Franklin with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The drinks menu is impressive, and the salads were fresh and flavorful. I had the wild pork carnitas, which were outstanding, and everyone in my group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We ended the evening by sampling every dessert on the menu — an absolutely perfect finish to a great dining experience

Bartenders and wait staff were friendly and had great recommendations. Beef cigars and lamb chops were out of this world and the ribeye absolutely melts in your mouth. Right in the heart of Franklin, this gem is a must visit!

Bestia Mare Seafood Rest + Rooftop Bar is a dining destination that prides itself on using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create an array of delectable dishes. The menu features handmade pasta, a raw bar, scrumptious seafood, and flavorful wines that reflect the flavors of Italy. Guests can indulge in oysters, cocktails, sustainable sourced seafood, and an excellent beer/spirits selection.
Great to try, but unsure I'd be a regular even if I lived closer. It's quite pricey. My dinner for one was an app, entree, dessert, and one cocktail for $115. The scallops alone were $48 and nearly perfect if not for the oversalting. Fantastic staff. Every person I came in contact with whether over the phone, at the host station, or during meal was very friendly and eager to please. The oysters were superb with a wide variety of options. The sea scallops were delicious on three sides. The top with the salt was just too much. The carrot cake has definitely earned its way onto the menu with it's family recipe history. The carrot cake was by far, easily the best carrot cake I've ever had. How it could be so moist and so dense, yet not be heavy is beyond me. I was surprised to order it bit when I heard it was a family recipe, I went for it and was not disappointed. All of the food is delicious, but don't ever skip ordering the carrot cake! The staff was so kind by bringing my slice of heaven with a candle in it for my birthday. I flew down to Nashville from NY for the occasion along with NYE and they made my day!

Culamar Seafood Rest + Rooftop Bar offers an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends exquisite cuisine with a vibrant atmosphere. During our visit, we indulged in the salmon and the fall-off-the-bone Berkshire pork, both of which were cooked to perfection and showcased the chef’s dedication to quality and flavor. The Brussels sprouts side dish was equally impressive, offering a delightful balance of textures and tastes. Complementing our meal was a selection from their thoughtfully curated wine list, which enhanced the overall dining experience. The ambiance at Culamar is both inviting and contemporary, with modern décor that creates a warm and cozy atmosphere suitable for any occasion. The addition of a rooftop bar provides guests with stunning views of Franklin, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a cocktail while taking in the scenery. Service was attentive and friendly, with staff members demonstrating a genuine commitment to ensuring a memorable visit. Their knowledge of the menu and wine pairings added a personalized touch that elevated our dining experience. In summary, Culamar Seafood Rest + Rooftop Bar is a must-visit destination for those seeking high-quality, sustainably sourced seafood, complemented by an array of international artisan and fresh local ingredients. Whether you’re a local or a visitor to Franklin, this restaurant offers a dining experience that is both memorable and satisfying.

We had a large group there (9 of us) and it was a very pleasant and easy experience. It was for an early dinner but the restaurant was already somewhat busy. The service was very good and were able to serve everyone at the same time. The menu is eclectic and interesting so live dangerously because it is lovely and very good, The ravioli was my favorite although everything looked amazing. The wine list is limited but has enough offerings and the drinks were excellent. Downtown Franklin is always nice and this is just on the edge of the town with ample parking and easy access.

I wanted this to be great, but we didn’t even get a good experience. The atmosphere and food saved the service. Had a few apps, beats, asparagus, oysters… they are proud of theirs, $6 for 1? Overall the risotto was amazing. Buddy had the burger, which he said was ok. Roof top is pretty legit. Oh BTW, the bar was a mess. Again, maybe an off night, but I’ve heard things have really dropped off here.

We had the pleasure of eating at Culimar for our 35th wedding anniversary. We had reserved the chef’s table which is really more like a bar seating area. You don’t really get to watch the chefs. You do get to watch some of the sous chefs, but the chefs are a little further beyond them. I did feel like I was sitting at a bar instead of a fine dining restaurant. I’m sure they would’ve moved us if we would have asked. The staff was super nice very attentive, our water glasses never wanted for a refill. Since I don’t drink they came up with a nice espresso mocktail for me. That was very delightful. Pre-dinner. I forget what my wife had to drink, but there was no complaints. It may have been an aperol spritz, her favorite. I ordered the New York strip cooked medium. My wife ordered the trout. The New York strip came prepared like Steak Frites, so it was steak and fries. My wife’s trout looked and tasted amazing. We had a great time. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was OK and that’s probably because we were facing the kitchen and not seated by some nice window which I highly recommend. The company was definitely the highlight of the dinner with my love, my life, and my lady by my side, every dining experience is five stars. Ya’ll and I want to give a special thank you to the all Latin/Hispanic Cook team in the kitchen. Culimar wouldn’t make it without you. Muchísimas gracias y que Dios de bendiga.

Cioppino, the calamari, the mussels were delicious. The starters are quite small, tapas size but very tasty nonetheless. Plenty of options for oysters. I would say as feedback, the whipped butter for the bread was a tad bit too salty for my taste. We arrived early and hit the rooftop for drinks and service upstairs was stellar. All around a wonderful evening out.

Couldn't decide on an appetizer, so we ordered 2! And then shared an entree and a desert! Well portioned! The ceviche was so fresh! The octopus carpaccio was amazing. We shared the Tortelli, and the pasta was soft, and the short rib filling was so tender. The cheese was so good, we finished every bit of it w the bread! For dessert the Pan Di Spagna was light and heavenly paired w a deep vanilla gelato. I look forward to trying out their lunch and breakfast menus!

Regular customer who visits 1-2 month since the restaurant opened. Very slimmed down new menu copied on cheap thin paper with bar menu on one side and very thin food menu on the other. Cheviche was rubbery with only 2 plantains served. Mussels were good but only served with 7 mussels. Trout was good as usual. Salmon was not- it was raw. I sent it back. Olive oil cake was extremely dry! Flan was super rubbery. Clearly, not made there. Would have been better from Publix! Our bill was expensive and so NOT worth it!!! Very disappointed in the ‘new scaled down menu’ and the quality of the food! Actually, the worst meal there. Will not be back! My list gets more narrow each week. Marking this one off now! Very sad because it was one of favorite in downtown Franklin. Big miss management!!!

Puckett's Restaurant - Downtown Franklin offers a friendly country store atmosphere with a menu featuring Southern classics and a full bar. It is part of a chain with locations in Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, and Columbia. On Thanksgiving, they offer a family-style meal for dine-in or to-go orders at reasonable prices. The holiday catering packages provide various meat options, sides, and homemade desserts for an effortless holiday feast.
This was my wife's and my third visit and it did not disappoint. My son and I had the catfish and it was meaty, well seasoned and the breading was spot on. My wife loved her chili Mac, and my daughter liked her pulled pork sandwich. Sides were tasty too. I was not fond of the corn bread mini pancakes, but they were inconsiqential. Highly recommend this place if you are in Franklin TN.

I have never been to this Puckett's before. It was a good experience. The food was good. I was a bit bummed that they had run out of their ribs for the day, especially since it was at the start of the dinner hour. The food we got was good and the manager was really nice. The feel of the place is really cool. They also have gate 11 alcohol and I love that they support local distilleries.

My recent visit to this bbq joint, I entered with high expectations based on reviews, but my experience was a mixed bag. While the service was outstanding, the food didn't quite meet expectations, leading to a disappointing experience overall. The two-star rating mainly reflects the lack of flavor in the meats. If you’re a ribs fan, it's worth the visit on a Saturday, but be ready to compromise on the rest of the menu. Meats: Brisket: Unfortunately, the brisket fell short in flavor, despite requesting a moist cut. It didn't leave a lasting impression. Pulled Pork: The pulled pork was decent, but not enough to elevate the meal. Ribs: The ribs were the standout item, juicy and well-cooked. They were definitely a highlight, but it's worth noting that they're only available on Saturdays, which is a bit limiting. Sides: Mac n Cheese: This dish was mediocre at best, lacking the creamy richness one would expect from a good mac and cheese. Collard Greens and Potato Salad: Both of these sides were the stars of the sides. They were flavorful and well-prepared, making them the best choices to accompany the main dishes. Spicy Corn: Be prepared! This side was very spicy, which may appeal to some, but could be too much for the uninitiated. The service, however, was exemplary. Our server was friendly, courteous, and made some thoughtful recommendations. The manager also brought out our food and was engaging, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.

We had the absolute BEST experience here. We chose to sit at the bar and the bartender, Sara, was phenomenal and so helpful with suggestions. So glad we sat there! I hope they know how special she is to have as an employee. Our meal was one of the best that we have had in a while! We chose “The whole farm” so that we could try everything and it was truly the most tender and juicy meats- and the “smoke” was not overpowering. Sara was great at recommending drinks and made them to perfection. She is an amazing bartender. She also HIGHLY recommended the cinnamon roll bread pudding, and I must say- you HAVE to try it. If you are in town, this is a MUST!! Everything from the atmosphere, decor, staff, food, was top notch. Such a great place that was very welcoming and warm.

We had a great visit on the way thru on a sunday after a visit to nashville. We we able to seat right away and the service was fantastic. We were slightly disappointed with no music but ultimately after a weekend up north, that ultimately may have been a good thing. The star of rhe meal was the smoked meatloaf with a wonderful mushroom gravy! The smoke flavor was delicous but not overpowering and was yummy. We have eaten at several puckett's and have always had great meals. This definitlely lived up to the standard.

We took a day trip to Franklin while visiting Nashville and had lunch at this cute restaurant. It definitely met our expectations. Great food with great service. We love how they kept the interior look to reflect it's past history. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to come and enjoy the live music at some point. Great location. Paid parking available around the back of the building and a parking garage across the street from the front door.

Our family came down from Louisiana for a concert and wanted to try some local cuisine. Puckett's was perfect! My mom and I got the FGBLT, my sister got the Vegetarian Burger, my brother got the Mojo Burger, and my dad got the Philly Cheesesteak. Everything was very good, perfectly cooked, and the sweet potato fries were crispy 😋 The only negative thing was that they forgot the cheese for the cheesesteak at first, but once we asked, that was quickly remedied. Our waitress Laney was very sweet and efficient. The cute country store vibe was a comfy backdrop too! Would definitely recommend and come back!

Nestled in downtown Franklin, Merridee's Breadbasket is a charming bakery and cafe known for its homemade soups, sandwiches, and decadent desserts. Established in 1984 by founder Merridee McCray, the bakery exudes a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere with wooden furniture and patterned tablecloths. The menu features scratch-made items that have garnered numerous accolades over the years.
Great place. I prefer Meridee’s to Puckets next door. The food is better and Meridee’s has espresso drinks. Breakfast as least on Friday, is done at 11:00 so we had to order lunch. I had the gold rush (iced) and the feta and spinach crescent with hashbrown casserole, both of which were excellent. We also had the sticky bun, spicy chicken wrap, which was spicier than expected as well as the curry chicken salad on top of a house salad and that was good as well. We will definitely be back!

I would not recommend this place. We had high hopes with seeing their menu and the food in the cases. The cinnamon roll was stale and dry. The chocolate milk was sour—looking at the date, it was three weeks expired!! We told the cashier and she said to grab another. Well, all of them were expired so we got a soft drink. We were there for 45 minutes and on the way out we looked in the cooler and all of the milks were still there—for sale (it’s a serve yourself case). So, they knew they were selling spoiled chocolate milk. No knives available until your food comes out so we couldn’t cut the cinnamon roll. The omelet was good but everything lacked seasoning. Their biscuit was good. Again, would not recommend this place.

Had heard a lot of good things from multiple sources about Merridee’s so had high expectations. Food ranged from fantastic to good and they had a lot of options for breakfast. Ordering was done at the front desk and food was brought to you later. Coffee and tea was standard fair and nothing to write home about. Overall they seemed to have a ton of bakery options as well but we did not order those so cannot speak to how good that portion may have been. There were multiple people eating there that only got the pastries.

Adorable place! Our family was visiting from Louisiana for vacation and we loved downtown Franklin and saw Merridee's and wanted to try it. The salads were so fresh and delicious (I got the Chicken Fruit Salad), and the key lime pie was so yummy 😋 I tried some of the poppyseed dressing that came with my sister's salad, and boy, I would buy an entire bottle of that stuff it was so good 😂 My sister also got a Chai latte, and she said it was very good. The lady taking our order at the front counter was so nice and had such a sweet smile! She was working hard and doing a great job! At lunch rush, the place was PACKED, and all four of us had to huddle on a 3-top, but it was worth it 😆 The food was SO good, and we will definitely be back!

5/2025 Update: I had the opportunity to eat here again and it's just as delicious as before. Service is fast and friendly and it gets really busy and the food is delicious! I had a delicious breakfast at Merridee's! I got a delicious iced latte and the Bennett's Scramble and the eggs were perfect! The cheese on top was definitely quality. The hash brown casserole was some of the best hash brown casserole I've ever had. When I come back, it'll be hard not to get more of it. It was SO good. Cool old coffee shop atmosphere. Service was quick. Employees were nice. They also offer beer and wine if that's what you are looking for at lunch time.

The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and a very pleasant ambiance. It was surprisingly quiet, which we really appreciated. The food was outstanding – both the salmon and the steak were cooked exactly as we requested. We particularly enjoyed the charcuterie board. Our server was new to the job and seemed a bit nervous at first, but she quickly relaxed and became more comfortable as she got to know our party. I'll check Brunch out real soon!!!

The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious, I really enjoyed the deviled egg flight, and the duck fat fries were great. ✨ A Culinary Delight at The Honeysuckle in Franklin, TN! ✨ Our visit to The Honeysuckle was nothing short of spectacular. We indulged in a delightful four-course meal, each course surpassing the last in flavor and presentation. We began our evening with their deviled eggs, which featured four unique toppings, including a luxurious touch of caviar—an amazing start to our culinary journey. The charcuterie board was a feast for the senses, brimming with perfectly seasoned and cooked meats and an array of unique cheeses that left us wanting more. The highlight of our meal was the halibut with risotto, which was savory and bursting with flavor—a true testament to the chef's skill. The ambiance at The Honeysuckle was relaxing and full of character, making it the ideal setting for a memorable night out. The service was impeccable, with every staff member ensuring our experience was nothing short of excellent. The wife and I decided on the Honeysuckle for one of our 10 year wedding anniversary date nights, and it did not disappoint. We shared Fried Green Tomatoes and a charcuterie board. My wife had a selection of oysters and I had a the shrimp and grits. The wedge salad was also perfect. As good as the food was, the star of the evening was our server, Autumn. She made fantastic recommendations and made us feel like we were the most important table in the restaurant. She even moved us to a bigger table so we had room for all our share plates.

The Honeysuckle in Cool Springs is a hidden gem that truly deserves more attention. I had the special, halibut over risotto, and it was simply amazing. Typically, risotto can be a bit too rich, overshadowing the delicate flavors of the fish, but not here. The balance was perfect, allowing the halibut to shine as the star of the dish. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was exceptional, making the whole experience even better. If you're a fan of J. Alexander's across the street but can't stand the crowds, The Honeysuckle is where you need to be. The food, atmosphere, and staff here are on another level. The pricing is similar, but the overall experience is far superior.

Biscuit Love Franklin is a small chain restaurant located in the historic Corn House building, offering a delightful breakfast and brunch experience. The restaurant's menu features an array of biscuit platters with various toppings such as Nashville hot chicken, local sausage gravy, and strawberries. In addition to their signature biscuits, Biscuit Love Franklin also offers options like roasted veggie bowl and shrimp & grits.
This location is so much better than downtown if you’re looking for easier access. Parking is around the corner on the other side of the block and it’s free. There’s also free street parking if you can find a spot. I love that this is in an old house. It provides an element of local charm. Walk in and order from the counter and they tell you where to sit where they will bring your food and drinks. Also a very nice covered patio out back. I am a donut fan so I just had the bonuts and they were fresh and flavorful. I’d definitely stop by again.

This place was a fun and unique place to get breakfast. The atmosphere is really what sets this place apart in my opinion. The staff were extremely pleasant to deal with and made us feel very welcome. My wife was quite pleased with her coffee, which is hard to do (she's a lot more particular than I am). The food arrive nicely presented. I have to admit that we both found the shaved ham on the Souther Benny to be a bit overpowering. I also have to admit that due to the name of the establishment, I had expected biscuits to feature more prominently both in the menu and on the dish. That said, it was still a good experience.

Went here with my dad for the first time. Items are a little bit pricey ($6 for a small juice), but the food was delicious. Staff here are very friendly and courteous and the place had a very relaxed atmosphere. I'm a connoisseur of biscuits are gravy, and these earned a solid 7/10 for me. Gravy was spot on, but the biscuits were a little too crunchy for my liking. Still a fantastic spot! My dad got the chicken and waffles, and it was amazing!

1st time visitor - We went to Franklin to visit the Leiper's Fork Distillery and because we wanted to see the town we went early enough for breakfast. Not really knowing much about Biscuit Love we stopped in and I'm glad we did! Cool little restaurant built out in an older home just a block or so off Main Street. Walking inside you get the sense that this is going to be good - it smelled so tasty! We ordered at the counter and quickly found a table that could seat the 6 of us. The food started to arrive soon after and every dish brought joy. I'm a believer in a good breakfast and Biscuit Love did not disappoint. Hot coffee, eggs cooked to perfection, flaky biscuits (of course!!!), thick-cut bacon, grits and gravy rounded out the fare. ALL DELICIOUS! I'm so glad we stopped in and would gladly return should we ever be in the area again.

The moment you walk into this biscuit and coffee shop, it feels like a warm Southern hug. The biscuits are unbelievably fresh — golden on the outside, pillowy soft inside, and rich with that buttery, from-scratch flavor you just can’t fake. Whether you order them plain, with honey, or loaded with eggs and bacon, they taste like pure comfort. The coffee is equally impressive — smooth, strong enough to wake you up, and clearly crafted with care. No burnt aftertaste, just clean, bold flavor. They also offer seasonal drinks and fun specialty lattes if you like to switch it up. The staff is friendly and genuinely happy to serve you, and the atmosphere is cozy without feeling crowded — perfect for a slow morning, a casual meet-up, or grabbing something delicious on the go. If you love real, homemade biscuits and quality coffee, this place will become your new favorite stop. Highly recommend.

Slightly slow service, but completely understand given it’s a Thursday morning! Staff was incredibly kind and courteous. Absolutely enjoyed the service this morning. Food was a bit pricy, but delicious. Paid ~$20 for the biscuit shown + coffee. But the quality is absolutely worth it. Chicken was incredibly crispy even with all the gravy! Absolutely enjoyed my time and will come back!

No bad choices! Last day in Nashville visiting and I decided to drive down to the Franklin location of Biscuit Love and to see the historic town. Opening at 7am, it’s perfect for a travel day so you can get your fill and start early. The drip coffee and espresso was legit, the food was delicious and hot, the staff friendly and the ambiance peaceful. Highly recommend! A friend from the area told me they started as a food truck and have grown with multiple brick and mortar locations- I can see why! Pictured here my coffee, egg plate with fried chicken, pecan B roll!

They have a crispy and flaky biscuit that is soft on the inside - decently good. The jam that comes with it is less thick than your smucker's jam and is more liquidy - I respect it, though I personally prefer a smucker's. I ate their omelet - they put "herby fromage frais" inside. It's decent, though I generally end up squishing the omelet and pushing all that cheese away because I'm not a fan of a lot of cheese. This is a personal preference issue. The omelet is topped with bacon and mushroom pieces. These pieces are really good and add very well to the omelet and especially help the fromage frais not overwhelm you. Their home fries are extremely crispy and fresh. One of the better home fries out there. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is fine, but it was not sour enough when I ate it once. I personally only recommend fresh orange juice that is sour. Their brown sugar lemonade is decent. They serve a martinelli bottle of apple juice for their "apple juice" option, which makes them get bonus points for me. That was a very good decision that they made.

Since 1999, Graeme and Corrie Asch have been serving up a menu filled with specialty sandwiches, fresh salads, fruit tea, coffee, and homemade desserts in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. This historic town offers various dining options for families, including traditional southern cooking at Puckett's Grocery and Mexican favorites at Mojos Tacos.
We all enjoyed our meals. We got sandwiches, paninis, soups, chicken and tuna salad scoops, etc. It’s a very cute environment and the food came out quickly. Loved the fresh flowers on each table. It is pricey ($17 for a sandwich with chips) but I would definitely come back and recommend.

Cute little deli with a long line. Order at the front, then choose a table. If you're looking for healthy food, options are extremely limited. My guacamento was a delicious splurge though. So was the chocolate chip banana bread! A few patio tables but plenty of seating inside.

Food was really good. We both got the ham and Colby Jack panini sandwiches. Not too bad for the price. Ham was piled thick!

Stopped at the Mercantile today for lunch. I ordered the steak and cheese panini with the pasta salad. Sandwich came with very little steak and grilled onions of which I had requested be omitted. The pasta salad was overwhelmed with vinegar to the point I did not eat it. Cute atmosphere but my meal was very disappointing.

Wow, this place is a gem. My wife and I stopped in for quick lite bite and were not disappointed. We got the Salad scoop trio. It was organic mixed greens, topped with a scoop of tuna, chicken and pimento cheese salad. I thought I came with just one scoop but it had one of each. All for just 12.50$. I don’t know what pimento cheese salad is/was but it’s NOW my new favorite salad. My wife raved about the tuna salad and I devoured the chicken salad. The atmosphere had a very friendly vibe and the staff could not be a friendlier bunch. This place deserves to be a top stop for lunch if you visit Franklin. They have so much to offer with their choices of meals that my review will not do it justice. Go check it out for yourself.

Had the 4th Avenue Club. My husband ordered one too and the sandwiches are so big, I think we could have shared. They were delicious, as was the pasta salad and fruit. There was plenty of seating available. Very comfortable atmosphere and very helpful people working. The prices are super reasonable and the food was made fast. The parking deck is not too far away and there are restrooms available. We will definitely visit again.

It’s so good! Fresh food, made to order. Quick and good customer service. Great variety. Salad bar is solid! Decorative environment. Great local spot!

I stopped in for an early lunch on a Saturday while traveling. I had a cup of white chicken chili and it was very good. They have breakfast/brunch/lunch options and the prices were reasonable. I ended up stopping back later for a hot tea a little later in the day and they were packed. Cute place, nice people.

Ruby Sunshine is a new brunch restaurant in the heart of New Orleans. The service was outstanding and the food was good, but some items were not available. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
We went to Ruby Sunshine for the first time this morning and had a great dining experience. Isaac was our waiter and he was phenomenal! Very polite, friendly, and extremely attentive. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the trifecta. Both dishes were amazing! I highly recommend dining at Ruby Sunshine.

Four months ago, I popped in to use the rest room while traveling and bought a cup of coffee for the road. I told my server that it was my first visit to Franklin and stated that I was impressed. It is a beautiful town. With that, she told me that the coffee was on the house and that she hoped to see me again. I vowed to come back and spend some money if I had the opportunity. So, I returned and spent the money. The menu was simple yet varied. Everything we ordered was obviously house made, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The staff was personable, yet professional. I don't remember the name of my server four months ago but Wyatt took great care of me and my husband on this trip. It won't be our last.

Awesome find! The food is phenomenal. We ordered a mimosa flight. I loved it. Not hubby's thing. More for me. He had the meatloaf with onion rings and cheese grits. The best grits, hands-down. I ordered the whiskey and onion smash burger with the potatoes. The food must had done a number on the hubs. He was talking about the complexities of the flavor...funny...but true. Can't go wrong with their menu. Something for everyone. The atmosphere is southern and modern. Great color palette and spacious.

Really good food with a laid-back vibe. Great menu selection. I got the smothered chicken, mac and cheese, and salad. I was impressed with the flavor. My son got the kids cheeseburger with mac and cheese and cleaned his plate. They asked about reservations, but it didn't seem like a place you'd need reservations for. I'm assuming they get really busy during peak times. Our waitress was kind and attentive.

It's nice to be pleasantly surprised. Especially when trying a restaurant for the first time. A friend suggested Tupelo Honey and I'm glad she did. My two friends had breakfast for dinner (which is always nice when you can get it), but when my eyes landed on the meat loaf on the menu, I knew what I was going to have. Surprise number one: the meat loaf was a mini loaf, and not slices of a larger one. I've done this at home for my family and I feel it is the superior approach. Also, it was perfectly done. It is too easy to overcook a meatloaf. Two: it was not a ketchup based sauce. There may have been ketchup in it, but it clearly was not the dominant flavor. Definitely more savory than sweet and quite delicious. Surprise number three: collard greens. Made with bacon, they were very good and did not have the bitterness of spinach. This was the first time I had tried collard greens and I will have them again. And finally, outstanding potatoes. Crunchy and delicious on the outside they were the perfect complement to the meatloaf and collard greens. And all of this with reasonable pricing. Should my friends choose to desert me in the future I'm sure I will still return.

Reminds you of First Watch. Great server, Moni was her name! The fried green tomatoes were served on a bed of grits with some type of sauce around the rim. The tomatoes were fried perfectly! Slithers of oregano was on top of the tomatoes. All of the flavors went well together. The grits were lacking something (perhaps salt). We also had a Mountain Morning Bowl which was tasty and the sweet potato pancake with bacon. The sweet potatoe pancake was amazing! What’s Brunch without mimosas? We would eat here again!

The food and service were great. No wait for lunch. Our server Spencer made suggestions and checked on us multiple times. We had fried green tomatoes and the avocado melt with roasted crispy potatoes.

Tupelo Honey in Franklin is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you know you’re in for something special. We started with the panko-crusted fried green tomatoes, and let me just say—perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. They set the tone for the entire meal. The sweet & spicy fried chicken and waffles with sriracha honey is next-level good. The balance of spice and sweetness is spot on—crispy, juicy chicken paired with fluffy waffles that soak up all that honey goodness. For something comforting, the sweet potato pancake is a must-try. It’s oversized, warm, and packed with flavor. Topped with spiced pecans, powdered sugar, and whipped butter—it feels like a hug on a plate. We also loved the Tupelo shrimp & grits. They were creamy, rich, and authentic with a perfect Southern flair. And don’t overlook the Mountain Morning Bowl—a hearty combination of sunny-side up eggs, rosemary parmesan crispy potatoes, cheddar, apple cider bacon, green tomato salsa, red pepper sauce, and stone-ground goat cheese grits. Every bite is filling and layered with flavor. This is the kind of place where you’ll want to slow down and savor every dish. The flavors are bold, balanced, and crafted with care. If you’re anywhere near Franklin, do yourself a favor and stop in—you won’t regret it!

Mellow Mushroom Franklin is a vibrant and artsy pizzeria located on Main Street in the Downtown Square of Franklin, Tennessee. This popular lunch spot offers a diverse menu featuring craft beer, creative stone-baked pizzas, calzones, burgers, and sandwiches. The restaurant's eclectic decor and laid-back atmosphere make it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Whether you're craving a slice of pizza or looking for a unique dining experience, Mellow Mushroom Franklin has something to offer everyone.
What a charming pizza restaurant with a unique pizza variety. I LOVE the Holy Shitake pie! The atmosphere is trippy but more than that, it is housed in a former bank where the architect repurposed the bank vault into the cold storage! And there are remaining post office boxes at the entrance. The service and pizza crust were phenomenal. It may have been kids night because there were lots of kids and a balloon artist (the artist made ANYTHING the kids asked for. It was pretty impressive). Will eat here again.

My wife and I stopped by after a evening meeting on a Thursday night and we were able to get right in and order. The pizza was great. The dough was crisp and light and fluffy. The sauce was good and the toppings were great. Will definitely go back. The atmosphere was a little dark but fun with the paintings and theme.

This place has amazing pizza! We also ordered the Greek salad with the suggested dressing and were delighted with the flavor! We ate our evening meal without a wait. Our party included a 2 year old and 5 month old, their parents and us grands. There was a kids menu with crayons, an arcade and brightly painted walls with a really funky vibe. Our wait staff was friendly and helpful. The house supreme pizza was superb!

We had such a wonderful experience at Mellow Mushroom thanks to our server, Jess! She was absolutely adorable—so sweet, funny, and genuinely kind. She was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. Her warm personality and sense of humor made the whole meal feel special and relaxed. Honestly, Jess turned a simple dinner into an experience we’ll remember. If you get the chance, ask for Jess—you won’t be disappointed!

We were excited when we got there. Waiter ghosted us throughout (very big/tall guy). We had to wait 1 hour for food. He never refilled out drinks or checked on us even tho the food was taking forever. The wings were so overdone we sent them back. The waitress nearby was so much more attentive and professional than our guy. 😒

This 5-star review is thanks to Aiden, and his excellent customer service. When we asked to sit outside today (my husband mentioned it was for my birthday) we were told by the hostess it was closed. But it was a beautiful day, so we asked our waiter if we could take our food outside. He made it happen, and waited on us outside anyway. He wished me a happy birthday, offered me a sweet treat, and gave us excellent service. If this review had been based on the hostess' curt response to our request, it would have been 3 stars. But Aiden turned that around and made us feel like valued customers. Customer service is everything, and we appreciated Aiden's 5-star service. The pizza was as good as always.

Big Shake's Hot Chicken & Fish, led by the ambitious Shawn Davis, has become a must-visit spot for food lovers. Originally known for its shrimp dishes and renowned collard greens, this restaurant has embraced the hot chicken craze with an impressive menu that includes everything from wings to tacos. Diners can customize their spice levels, ensuring a personalized experience with every bite. The bustling atmosphere is indicative of its popularity, as patrons frequently line up for takeout or enjoy dining in when things calm down.
Big Shake's is a great restaurant. People were standing in line and coming in and out for take out orders and online orders and steadily taking catering trays out.. a good sign for a restaurant. With that said.. when the lunch crush slowed down, the tables were cleaned, and seating was limited when super busy. The food menu consists mainly of chicken and fish but in many ways and many heat choices. Everything looked good and my meal was delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try!
The S — Google review
If you are a fan of Nashville hot chicken then you will enjoy this place. I stopped in here for lunch and ordered a leg quarter plate with the "Stop drop and roll" (Hot) heat level. The heat was just enough that most people who like spicy food of any kind will be just fine. Anything hotter than than that will be for people who really like HOT food. The meal was very well executed and chicken was cooked to perfection. Personally, I prefer the flavors of Princes or Hattie B's but Big Shake's is still certainly very good. Given the opportunity, I will definitely be back :)
Doug A — Google review
I ordered online carry out from Google-just let them know it's a Postmates order as it showed online. I recently went to Hattie B's, once I took a bite of this sandwich, I almost questioned if it was a Hattie B's sandwich! The carry out food was delicious. We ordered Mac and Cheese, Beans, Chicken Sandwich, and a Family Platter! Only feedback are the sauces like ranch, honey mustard aren't original-seemed store procured but it still worked out!

The following is what I emailed to Big shakes to the email address posted on their website to complain about a recent dining experience. I gave them a week to receive a reply as I even told them in my email that I prefer to offer a business the opportunity for service recovery before posting something publicly. Because I've not received any response from Big shakes, I am now sharing the following email I sent to Big Shakes as my review of our most recent experience... Dear Big Shakes, I came to the Franklin store and placed my order of four items for takeout on August 11, 2023, and waited in store for it to be ready. Restaurant was very busy. It's a short 5 minute drive from the restaurant to my house but the only thing that was hot was the leg quarters, while the catfish and the fries were barely warm despite being in the same box as a hot temperature leg quarter. I also paid an extra dollar for macaroni and cheese as a side, but that was NOT included with my order. The two orders of chicken tenders were both so overcooked and dry that they couldn't be eaten, they were also barely warm, and the fries and those boxes were close to being cold. Attached are pictures of the receipt, the quality check receipt attached to the bag that the macaroni and cheese was not included, as well as pictures of the combo chicken and fish box. The tenders (no picture) looked good, BUT as I stated above tasted terrible being so overcooked and dry, yet also being barely warm with almost cold fries, the family wouldn't eat them. What makes no sense to me was with the 25 minute wait for the food to be cooked because of how busy the store was, I would have expected everything to be hot from being cooked to order, yet 3/4 of all the food ordered was either warm or cold, with the only hot food being just the two leg quarters. I'm giving you the courtesy of knowing this directly, and the opportunity to fix this bad experience, as I would prefer to not have to post this negative review on Google Maps.
Erik H — Google review
I am a huge fan of hot chicken, especially one of the other local favorites, and I normally prefer to go there. However, I will say that Big Shake’s really turned it around for me. Their chicken was extremely flavorful, and the spice was there but it tasted great too! Chicken is worth trying! The catfish is definitely worth trying! The Mac and cheese was on point, and so were the greens. I will probably be taking the drive to Big Shake’s next time I’m craving chicken, especially since I won’t have to wait over an hour for my order!
Jack W — Google review
Let me start by saying, oh my gosh! This place is small and a little north of Nashville proper, but oh man, it is good. Beautifully cooked chicken, well seasoned, super friendly staff. We got the Nashville hot chicken, chicken and waffles, and a corndog kids meal. The food was perfectly cooked. The hot chicken has four levels. I got the stop, drop and roll which is level 2. If you're not wanting to ruin the drive home for everyone else later it's a good choice. You get a little runny nose and head sweat action. And the spicy ranch is for real... So hot. I would call myself an amateur spice Lord for reference. I was also tempted to try the fried Oreos but I had already filled myself with delicious chicken. Their jumbo tenders are for real jumbo. It's like a half a chicken breast each. Highly recommend if you're wanting to avoid the craziness downtown.
David D — Google review
Very good food all in all. I did have high expectations and they were met. The staff was amazing, the facilities and dining room very clean. The service was a bit slow because they were very busy, but the staff was very kind in letting us know. The prices were very good, especially considering the area. My wife, I and our two children ate for about $32 and the portions were just right. Good amount and satisfactory. I ate the dark meat chicken and my wife the white chicken options. The meat was very juicy and the spice was very good. It came with amazingly good Mac and cheese, I was surprised about that, and great crunchy chicken. I will definitely be going back considering I am not much of a deep fried chicken person.
Erastos E — Google review
This gem is tucked away in the middle of Alexander plaza. Good comfort food. We got chicken strips, catfish, Mac and cheese, greens, toast, and fries. Wondrously tasty. Everything was fresh out of the fryer. The greens were perfectly seasoned. The chicken and fish are big pieces. You will not leave hungry. I did not. The staff are polite and take care of you. The dine in area is clean and has a hip and modern feel to it. The music is soulful. Goes great wiith the food. Honestly, I was surprised that they were not busier here when we went. I will be back sometime and I bet they will be then.

I have generally loved Five Daughters Donuts for years, but I’m honestly increasingly disappointed. The more popular they get - the less quality control there is. My husband bought me donuts to surprise me recently - and both the raspberry jam and Boston cream were anything but filled. They were more than half empty with air. At almost $5 a donut - that’s really unacceptable. They should be filled to the brim. This is starting to feel very shamelessly cash-grabby, and a whole lot less wholesome enjoyment.

The donuts are highly enjoyable. I was particularly seeking the blueberry lemon flavor, which is unfortunately seasonal; however, the blueberry lavender option proved to be a satisfying alternative. Located in Franklin, Mojo's Tacos is a vibrant eatery that started as a food truck and later expanded to a brick-and-mortar location. The menu features an array of tacos, from traditional options like chicken and steak to unique flavors such as hot chicken, brisket, and fried avocado. The restaurant also offers an extensive selection of cocktails with a focus on tequila, as well as various craft beers.
We were looking for a light dinner and this place appealed. Its not far from the old town center (about a mile away). It is a very casual vibe, but also fun due to being in The Factory. It's very open and bright during the day. This is the kind of place where you put in your order and get a number to deliver at your table. The staff were all very friendly. The food was quite tasty. It reminded me a lot of Fuzzy's Taco Shop. I'd definitely come back again.

Really cool place, tasty food, a bit pricey. My family of 4 ate here in April 2025, and since I ate earlier I didn’t get a meal, and for the 3 of them it was $66. The food was really good, we enjoyed the atmosphere. When in the ordering line it was confusing to know exactly what they offered, so we had to lookup the menu online - and that was a big help. The 2 taco meal with a side was what both kids ordered, and my daughter was full, but son was still hungry. They both got fries with their meal, and if course that was subject to “dad tax” - and I enjoyed their unique flavored seasoned fries. 🍟 The wife ordered a taco and the Cali fries. The Cali fries was our favorite item. This is a good place to go with little kids as the dining area is informal and the kids can walk around or be loud and it’s A-OK. The kids also enjoyed that the drink is a station where you can select your own drinks (and of course, as kids like to do, mix multiple drinks together). The location is nice as it’s on the west side of “The Factory” very close to the west parking lot. The bathrooms are in the common area of the Factory and are really clean.

These are the best tacos I have ever had! And I have gone to a lot of taco joints over the years. I can almost guarantee you will agree if you go. You order up at a counter and then sit down with a number for your order. The quick service for the quality is just unbelievable. The fajita taco was my fav. The guac and salsa are amazing. Margaritas are excellent as well. Highly recommend !

Ohhh man these tacos were good!! Got the old school and adobo chicken, incredible! Friend got adobo and the green chili cheeseburger taco, she loved hers! The guac and chips were so fresh and good!! And the street corn side was better than the rice, at least for me! Would come back, just that good!!
Leigh G — Google review
My wife and I were excited to finally try Mojo's Taco but were rather disappointed with nearly all aspects of our visit. First, there seems to be a lack of training with the staff. When ordering, we asked two questions about the menu and cashier told us that she had no idea. Second, when it comes to the food it was very underwhelming. I will compliment the portion sizes, but the food itself just wasn't good. The "brisket" truly isn't brisket, it's just unseasoned, flavorless beef and the queso used on the nachos is just melted American cheese. I was impressed with how quickly they brought the food out. Then, when ordering drinks, we had to order those separate at the bar which is fine, just a little odd. Once again, there seemed to be a lack of training as the bartended was unable to make a skinny margarita. He seemingly forgot to add the tequila and just served us lime juice — we ended up not even drinking them, a true waste of our money. We had high hopes for Mojo's Taco but left feeling very disappointed, wishing we had gone somewhere else.
Jonathan E — Google review
Tacos are gross; dry meat, congealed cheese, and require bottled hot sauce to give them flavor. Two different draft beers, both flat. Floor is always dirty. Food comes out quick but nothing is hot. I suspect it’s not exactly made to order. I’ve given this place too many chances. It’s just not good.

Absolutely loved it here. The place is absolutely adorable. The inside bar has all the edge of a Savannah coffee shop but the drinks are much more fun. Board games in the corner score an extra win in my book. I always love places with a wine vending machine and they had great options, maybe a little red heavy for my personal taste but they change all the time. Cheese board I ate was perfect and the patio was perfect for a summer evening. Highly recommend!

A friend and I shared a charcuterie board and the fondue. Our waitress was MIA most of the time and it took about 30 mins to even get a coke. Becca stopped by multiple times to check on us,even though she was not our waitress, and noticed we had been sitting for about an hour with nothing in front of us and said something was down. Still hadn’t seen our original waitress. The charcuterie board was nice and had a good variety of meats and cheeses. The chocolate fondue was ok, but the candle was out before it got to us and no one came out to light it and the chocolate started to cool.

We enjoyed our time at JJ's Wine Bar. It is a tap room. You load money on a card that they give you, and you go around getting wine. The live music on Saturday night was really good. The service, unfortunately, wasn't that great. Our server didn't put in orders that we requested, and after an hour, we still hadn't received it. The food we did receive was delicious. I recommend the BBQ Flatbread. It was amazing. We ordered another one that never came.

Really cute place and I love trying the different wines on tap. It's great for a date night or catching up with friends. Cozy on the inside and love having the music outside depending on your mood. Recommend and will be back!

Discovered this cute but fun place while passing through Franklin,TN. Stopped in to listen to street music while enjoying yummy turtle cheesecake and a glass of Cabernet. Great customer service and love the vibe of JJ’s. I would definitely go back again if we get the chance to travel to Franklin.

We are visiting from out of town. Service was slow! Our waitress was not very attentive. She took 15+ mins to get us water and even longer for our soda drinks. We got a charcuterie board and it took over an hour to come. Ended up getting a fondue order and it came relatively quickly. Unfortunately another waitress had blown the candle out and the chocolate ended up cold. By the time they came and noticed we were ready to leave. We spend 2+ hours there. One positive was Becca was very attentive, sweet and helpful. She wasn’t our waitress but she kept checking on us. She’s awesome!!

Health food store
Herban Market is a family-owned grocery, health food store, and real food restaurant founded by Matt and Ashlea Hogancamp. The couple's dedication to providing high-quality, healthy food led them to quit their jobs and open this establishment. What started as a small natural foods market has now evolved into a vibrant full-service restaurant, coffee shop, and wine bar.
Herban Market is hands down one of Franklin’s best-kept secrets, and it deserves way more recognition! Tucked away from social media like a hidden gem, this spot is a haven for anyone looking for delicious, wholesome food and naturally made products that support a healthy lifestyle. Whether you’re deep into your health and mindfulness era or just looking for a great meal that makes you feel good, this place has something for you. Their menu is packed with nutritious options that don’t sacrifice flavor, and the variety ensures there’s something for everyone. We ordered the scrambled eggs, avocado toast, and the chicken Caesar wrap—all gluten-free—and let me tell you, every bite was immaculate! The eggs were perfectly fluffy and well-seasoned, the avocado toast had the freshest ingredients with a satisfying crunch, and the chicken Caesar wrap was unbelievably flavorful with tender, well-seasoned chicken wrapped in a soft, gluten-free tortilla. Beyond the food, their market is a dream—filled with naturally made products that cater to wellness, from organic snacks to skincare and supplements. It’s clear that everything here is thoughtfully curated to promote a balanced, healthy lifestyle. If you haven’t been to Herban Market yet, you’re missing out! This place deserves all the hype, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

Really great experience at Herban Market! I love the atmosphere, relaxed, clean, and welcoming. The wait to order is always worth it, and the staff is consistently polite and kind. Food comes out quickly and never disappoints. I also love browsing their selection of vitamins and health products, such a nice bonus to a great meal. Highly recommend!

Good food, but Lordy it’s expensive for what it is… healthy food isn’t a novelty, not in this day and age. We were charged and extra $3 for adding ketchup and (3 small) pickles for an already pricey kids burger. The smash burger was piled high with lettuce, but the taste was just ok. Sides - fruit salad chopped up like a bowl of bird food and the quinoa/sweet potato salad was meh… sweet potato was undercooked and hard. I always loved the breakfasts, but again - pricey! The atmosphere is amazing… love the shop, bar and outside seating. I have always thought that this place was more hype than anything. I love to support local, but I think this place takes advantage of the health trend. It’s frustrating because good, healthy food, that you could buy at the Farmers Mkt, becomes high-priced and trendy just because it’s served on earthenware. It’s a nice treat now and again, but a lunch should lot cost $50 if you’re not in NYC! The servers and cashiers have ZERO personality, and if you ask a question about any of the items or comment on the prices, they look at you like they are happy to not be the one placing the order. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat - been going for 10 years. Food, service and vibe have all changed, and sadly I don’t think I will be back.

My wife and I were introduced to Herban Market by our Granddaughter, who lives in Nashville. We met her there for Brunch on a Thursday, and the place was busy. However, our service was prompt, friendly and professional. We sat in the open-air seating on the front porch and greatly enjoyed the atmosphere. We were there for more than an hour, and never felt rushed. The entire menu is based on Organically grown, local sourced food.

HELP!!! That's what this place needs in my opinion, some serious help. So sad as we eat here 3 times a week and the food has gone down hill. When we moved here a year and a half ago, first thing we did was look around the restaurant and then at the kitchen staff as that will tell you quite a bit in my experience. It was great and the food was consistent. Fast forward to now, take a look around the kitchen and tell me what you see? What has happened to this place? What country are we eating in? Sorry, but many are saying the same thing. The food quality of how it's being prepared is dropping fast and when you try and explain to the food runner that some items are missing or the food has an issue, there is now a language barrier. Sorry, I like all good people, but I moved from a place where I've been down this road and it never ends well. Here are photos of our latest breakfast with BURNT eggs that were like rubber and some ROTTEN avocados and, I think this is a first, the bacon looked deep fried (never happened before) which takes all the flavor away and it tastes greasy. My wife got her salad 20 minutes after I received my cooked breakfast. The Tinga Tacos used to be one of my favorites, but now it's hit and miss with being fresh or dried out, and I'm talking about at lunch time. Standards have fallen and I truly feel for the owners as it must be insanely hard to hire good staff nowadays, but something has got to change. The food and consistency should be your NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. Then I'd have almost no issues except for the staff language barrier. LOVE that ingredients are organic and/or healthy. PLEASE don't mess with that as we're willing to pay more for healthy food and it's the primary reason we come here. We are going to new locations to see how they do unfortunately but aren't quite ready to give up on this place. OWNERS, please understand that we love your ingredients, your concept, and the overall vibe of this place and WANT you to be successful. Maybe charge 1% more on all items and pay for a food checker to make sure everything is prepared correctly before it leaves the kitchen? And hire staff that speak perfect English when they're running food out to tables. It's hard, I know, being in the restaurant business. Best wishes to you guys.

Honestly, I was excited to try this place but left disappointed. The staff wasn’t friendly and when I was in the drink section - an employee who was restocking the drinks kept bumping into me without saying excuse me, it was super awkward. And then my $25 Cobb salad was awful - you can see in the photo there is NO chicken and it’s insanely overdressed.
Victoria — Google review
Herban Market is typically my fav however I’m disappointed after today I got their spinach feta salad to go and several of the normal ingredients of the salad were missing. I’ve gotten this salad before and it was delicious but this time it was missing both the shaved chicken and red onion. Given that this salad is not cheap, im disappointed that I paid $19 for just feta and spinach essentially. I usually have a great experience there so I’m shocked!

This place is the bomb! People with allergies can easily eat here and get their needs met. I enjoyed ordering straight from the menu without having to alter my order to make it gluten free. Chicken salad is my favorite. I love the kombucha on tap and in house coffees/lattes are great. I esp like the all organic food and 100% seed oil free.

GROUND, a hamburger restaurant in Denver, is known for its delicious burgers and fries. The restaurant also has a variety of toppings available to add to your burger, such as bacon, cheddar cheese, and onion straws. The chili that is served on the loaded fries is also popular among customers.
Looking for a great burger joint??!! This is it!! Quality ✅ Freshness ✅ Taste ✅ Nice and chill in the restaurant. I personally like the self serve system of ordering at the counter and getting your own drink refills. We had Fries Mushrooms for starters. Love the batter and the house made ranch. Spicy ranch was kicking! I had the Bacon BBQ burger. Comes topped with onion straws. Stayed together nicely! Sauce didn’t overpower the burger. Perfectly cooked! Paired with the sweet potato fries. They come with a sweet jam like sauce. Nice touch! My wife had the veggie sandwich with fries. Loved it! Regular fries were great as well!! Nice job y’all!

Solid burgers. My wife got the black and blue and it was delicious. I got the four alarm but asked to hold the jalapeños and they asked if I wanted the spicy ranch on the side. I said no keep it on the burger. Unfortunately they left it off and didn’t put it on the side either so I can’t give an accurate critique. It was a basic burger that was good but not what I ordered. Maybe next time. The fried pickles were a little greasy but had decent flavor. The dipping ranch for the pickles was ok. Overall it was a good meal.

A decent reasonable priced spot for a quick and unique meal. Easy parking in front of the restaurant, and one orders at the counter and is served in the ample attractive dining area. I had a stuffed baked potato and, as a visitor to Tennessee and waiting unique local fare, fried pickles. The food quality is decent, and the offering are many.

Burger, was so dry, I did not ask for well done. It was beyond well. Fries where at least hot. I get better burgers from way cheaper places. Cost isn't the issue if quality is there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Delicious! We stopped by this restaurant and were blown away by how good everything was! We ordered a Sweet & Smokey BBQ Burger and a cheesesteak sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and super satisfying. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and put care into what they serve. The customer service was also fantastic — friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends. Highly worth a visit!

Just got home with the burgers and fries I order to go from the Ground. Wow, what a yummy burger, and fries! Service was fast, and the guy who took my order (I neglected to ask his name, shame on me) was as personable as could be. Looks like they do a fair amount of business as well, because take out orders were flying outta there, and they had dinners eating as well.
Margo H — Google review
Had this place via a food truck today. The burger was really good but the fries were way undercooked. Disappointing for my first time.
Lydia R — Google review
I’ve been a fan of Ground for years. I have a collection of their cups. The burgers are good. The atmosphere is nice and is very chill and laid back. The service is great when it comes to getting your food made and bringing to the pick up area for you. The drink selection is good. They give plenty of fries with your burger. They have a drawing board for the kids to put artwork up there. This is one of my favorite go to spots when I’m craving a juicy burger. The price is not too high and you get plenty of bang for your buck. The only draw back is there’s not a lot of parking spots but it’s worth it. The staff is really friendly and easygoing when it comes to getting the customers orders in and done on time.

Saffire is a top-notch restaurant in Franklin, offering an eclectic menu of international comfort foods and Southern sides within a renovated factory setting. It's one of the best 5-star restaurants in the area, alongside other fine dining establishments. The restaurant also serves as an excellent venue for events, with accommodating staff and delicious food options including vegetarian dishes. Guests can enjoy a great atmosphere, fresh food, oysters, and a decent wine selection along with a variety of bourbon choices.
We ate at Safire for the first time, and loved it. We met friends for dinner & drinks before a show at Studio Tenn and highly recommend Saffire (and Studio Tenn). Against my better judgement, I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with collard greens & Mac & Cheese. This isn’t really my thing, but it was recommended by my friend and again by restaurant staff. It was outstanding, and I’ll probably get it again next time (although both the pork chop and the meatloaf look interesting. The pacing was relaxed, the staff & ownership friendly and the entire experience enjoyable. I look forward to returning.

Went to the farmers market and saw this place had opened recently. We went for brunch. Not a ton of options but everything was delicious. The gumbo was very flavorful with a little heat. Definitely recommend!!! The burger was delicious with plenty of toppings. Lots of blue cheese crumbles! The fried chicken was over mac and cheese with collard greens. It was amazing also highly recommend! I didn't know i liked collard greens. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Jeannie R — Google review
This was our first time visiting Saffire. The menu has a combination of southern dishes with a few Cajun options thrown in. Being from southern Louisiana I am always hesitant to try Cajun food anywhere outside of my home state. I asked our server about the gumbo and he said the chef was from Baton Rouge so I gave it a try. It was a mistake. Gumbo is a soup made with a roux which thickens it but it shouldn’t be the consistency of gravy like this is. It was also way too spicy. I hate when people think Cajun food means overly peppery. The spice is for flavor not for heat. Also, tomatoes in gumbo is a big NO! Moving on….the truffle fries were amazing. I’m usually not a fan and most are just average but these are special. The burger was also really good. Lastly, the fried chicken over mac and cheese and greens was good but honestly not great. All in all the atmosphere was enjoyable and our service was good. We’ll be back.

Excellent early brunch location with a broad menu, full bar, excellent, friendly, prompt service, in a large, eclectic bistro setting. The Autumn Beet Roast salad is excellent, and would make a great shared appetizer. The accompanying biscuits were a little smaller than normal. The Chilaquiles were a great combination of textures and flavors. The serving was large. The wine list is sort , but diverse.
J. M — Google review
My friend and I had lunch at Saffire earlier this week. We ordered the Ribbon Salad that the server recommended and the pasta to share. The candied pecans and veggie crips made the salad! The pasta was light and full of flavor. It wasn't too busy, so perfect for a lunch meeting. All in all, a great lunch and we can't wait to come back and check out the dinner menu.

Great food, enjoyed the chicken fried chicken. It was flavorful inside out. Grate service. Our cups are always filled up. We were sat at a dim part of the restaurant so it was little less fun but it’s ok. Will come back for food.

What I got (the beet salad) was good and well-prepared but incredibly small for the price. The staff was super friendly. The entire salad, before the first bite was taken, in its entirety is pictured. Again, it was good, but the size was surprising for a lunch salad (it should have been marketed as a side salad). Only brunch for lunch on Saturdays and limited menu.

Located in Franklin, Tennessee, Southall Farm & Inn is a rural resort spread across 300 acres of farmland. The property offers guest rooms and cottages, luxury dining options, and an onsite spa. It is nestled in the rolling hills outside of town but provides convenient access to local shops and restaurants. The farm resort features an all-day cafe with a seed-to-fork menu that includes ingredients grown on the grounds.
Stayed here for a girls trip in June 2025. Overall, this is a great hotel - there is lots to do and the property is stunning. We were also really impressed by the food. The service was a bit inconsistent in that we got different responses from different people (e.g., pool opening times, activity times, etc.). However, everyone we spoke with was lovely and really cared about the guest experience.

I had an AMAZING experience at Southall recently. I’m a mom-to-be and got a pre-natal massage with Leah. Leah was so kind and gentle, I’ll definitely be going back as soon as I can! From the moment I arrived every person working at this place was so nice to me—the person at the booth at the very front entrance, the valet staff, the staff at the spa… I then went and had a quick bite at Sojourner and sat at the bar. Isaiah, their bartender was super friendly! At one point, I accidentally dropped something and this lady working at the restaurant spotted me trying to bend down to get it and she stopped me and picked it up for me. She was so sweet and observant! I left this place feeling refreshed and renewed at the very tail end of my pregnancy when I needed this experience the most. I’ll definitely be back soon!

I had an amazing experience at Southhall where I got a 60-min relaxation massage and enjoyed lunch at Sojourner. I could not recommend Michelle enough for the massage - it was the best massage I've ever had! She was phenomenal and accommodating throughout the entire treatment. The facilities were gorgeous, and I enjoyed the relaxation areas to journal, the warm mineral pool with a gorgeous view, and the Himalayan salt sauna. Truly a luxurious experience. And the food was a 10/10! The entire staff made me feel so special on my birthday with a hand-written card and comped dessert. I'm a local to Franklin and can't wait to go back!

Visited the day spa with my partner. We called the day before and reserved our spaces. The prices we were told were not correct. We were charged double at checkout and after speaking with the staff they didn't seem very interested in a resolution or care much that we had been given wrong information. I had considered having another day trip here with friends but won't be returning. Buyer beware. The cleaning/attending staff were very lovely and helpful during our time before checkout.

We were looking for somewhere to go for our 26th wedding anniversary. My wife had been battling some major health issues, and we needed to get away from the noise and just relax. We heard about Southall and decided to give it a try. That's when the real story began. We checked in and were greeted by a team of people that unloaded and parked our car, escorted us to the registration desk, and gave us an overview of the property. We were all set within a few minutes at check-in, and we went straight to our spa appointment. WOW! The staff is amazing, and you are treated like a VIP the entire time you are there. We had a full day of activities planned, and we capped the night off with time by the fire near the lake. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Everything was top-notch! This is truly one of the best places we have ever visited!! You will not regret it!! We are looking forward to going back soon!!

Such a beautiful relaxing space for connection, relaxation, and delicious food. January is delightful with rich, filling dishes. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. The spa is amazing with it's steaming mineral pool, sound bath, resting area, and clean locker rooms which include a steam room and sauna. The location just far enough where you can forget all your worries but not in the middle of nowhere. There's a wonderful patio area where family and friends can gather, roast s'mores, and enjoy some tasty drinks.

I had such a wonderful deep tissue massage with ALMINA! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel so comfortable and cared for. You can truly feel that she loves what she does. I can’t recommend her enough!

My friends and I had high expectations about this place but were disappointed. They ordered the smashed burger and soup, the burger didn't taste like beef at all and it was very greasy. I also ordered the soup and a salad which were good. When we got our checks I noticed that they had charged us for the soups almost double of what was printed on the menu and also 23% for tip had automatically been added, so for a small bowl of soup and a small salad I would've paid $40. I spoke to one of the managers about the soup price being different from the price that was listed on the menu and they fixed it. We won't go back there.

Their pizza is delicious and fresh. I love that they have vegan and gluten-free options. We love the view on their porch. Service was fast. Staff is friendly, be sure to ask about what has gluten in it because some of their special pizzas contains gluten. We would definitely come back.

Staff was nice and happy and inviting. Atmosphere was pretty and clean. Your pizza sucks. Flavorless sauce. Dough tasted like salt. Feta was the only flavor distinguishable. Your fries are an embarrassment to potatoes everywhere!! No salt, limp and looks like apple slices. This was the worst food experience I had in years. Then you call these fries, steak fries 😑. Stop lying about your fries. This was thin potato slivers. I'm still mad about this food. I was hungry when I went so I figured I would like it either way...NOPE!!! First time bad food beat out hunger. Never coming back. And stop serving fries, just give people carrot sticks or something.

We have given this place 8 or 9 chances to be a reasonable pizza place but tonight was our last. We ordered a large cheese pizza and what a disappointment. Save your money and just buy something frozen at Kroger, it would taste much better.

As a person working in the food industry for 15 years I always try to be understanding and not bother any of the operations near closing time, well we Went in 40 minutes before close, I noticed that they were cleaning up so I asked what time they closed and said at 9pm. I said oh ok, we can be in and out in 30 minutes. We quickly ordered and tipped. The register person said it would be about 15 minutes so I said that’s perfect. When our pizza came out the time was 8:48, so it took a little longer. I told my wife let’s eat quickly so we can leave at 9:05ish. But the server said they are closing soon I said oh, ok is it fine if we eat a little here? and he just walked away. It made us uncomfortable and we decided to just eat outside by the road. The pizza is good but the service will be the downfall of this place. Kicking out customers is extremely unacceptable if they aren’t being aggressive or a nuisance to other customers or staff

Decent pizza.. the staff was less than impressive but that's to he expected from disengaged teenagers taking your order. Outside seating was great with a view of the park. We tried this out but likely won't return.

I walked in trying to order 3 pizzas….i was told computers were down and that was it so i took a seat to wait for no one to tell me they had turned back on and i could order.. so while i have two children with me who are hungry i ask someone if I should just order online. That’s when i found out they were back up… then i order 3 pizzas and two were the same and one was different. Clearly didn't take the time to listen to my order and just got the two that were the same. I walked in when I received my text saying it was ready to only two pizzas and then get all the way home to only see my pizza was not the other one in there… very disappointed and service was absolutely terrible as everyone was just standing there.

I went here for the first time with one of my girl friends after work this week and we both LOVED it! They have so many delicious sounding pizzas on the menu that I had no idea which to try so we ordered a pepperoni roll and beers to enjoy while deciding. We ended up ordering the smashed potato pizza and added pepperoni to it. YUM!!! The building was extremely clean with a ton of natural lighting from windows overlooking the water. Every member of the staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. We might have to make this one of our weekly stops to work our way through the menu!

Mack and Kate's is a charming family-owned restaurant in Franklin, known for its seasonal Southern dishes and popular Sunday brunch. Originally located in a small town service station, the restaurant's success led to its relocation. The cozy interior exudes a welcoming atmosphere with down-to-earth service and homey furnishings. Offering a rustic Southern vibe, the menu features fresh takes on traditional comfort food, such as Kate's Bouillabaisse.
Ordered catering for a production in TN. The food came and what needed to be hot was hot, and what needed to be cold, was cold. Delivered on time and time was given to care for special instructions. Delivery drivers were friendly and helpful. Excellent menu options and the quality of the food exceeded expectations. Pricing was fair and reasonable and we actually ended up with leftovers! Highly recommended.

Went with their chicken fajita tacos, and chips. Displayed as “house ” chips, but just turn out to be basic bottom dollar tortilla chips. The chicken fajita tacos were less than bland. This is all besides the point of it being $12 - the price you pay for convenience. Sigh. Don't come at me on National Taco Day with a 'Southwest Taco Theme' if you aren't bringing the fire.

Popular restaurant (for good reason) slightly off the beaten path of restaurants in Cool Springs. Homey, comfortable atmosphere with a rustic, Southern vibe. The menu also has a Southern vibe, offering fresh twists on traditional comfort food. My favorite item has probably been Kate's Bouillabaisse. For the price, and the abundant amount of food you get, the best value would be to share it between two people. Desserts are usually worth sampling, if you have any room left. Service is usually very above average. Herman is one of the friendliest and most attentive servers I've ever encountered in any restaurant. Worth asking for him by name.

I made reservations for my wife and I for dinner Saturday evening at 6:30. We arrived a few minutes early, and they were not busy yet (only 10 or so tables were seated). We got arguably the worst table in the house, and should have asked for another. That was my fault. It was in a high traffic area, and was quite small. We were told that the menu had just changed, and I inquired about something that was on the website (that I had plans to order), and was told that the website menu had not been updated in quite some time. We ordered the "shrimp bombs" as an appetizer, and I was not very impressed. The bacon was nearly burnt it was so crispy. The shrimp itself was so-so, and the crab meat stuffing lacked much flavor. My wife had this crab/avacado/mango salad dish, and I had a caprese salad. They were both good - not great, but not bad. As main courses, she had the flat iron steak, and I had the scallops. My scallops were fantastic. Her steak had good flavor, but was a bit tough for my tastes. Arguably the best part of the meal was the peanut butter pie that we shared for dessert. Our server was polite, and was quick to refill our waters. My one comment on the service is that our food came out fast (we ordered everything at once, thinking that our meal would be paced, but it appeared as if each successive course came out as fast as they could get it out). I felt a little rushed. We had 2 coffees along with everything above, and the bill came out to $131. I think this will be our one and only visit to this restaurant. It wasn't that it was a bad experience, but I don't feel it was good enough to justify that price.

This all-day cafe offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for anything from breakfast to dinner. Known for its dedication to quality, Frothy Monkey uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients in its diverse menu of creative dishes.
My husband had raved about this place whenever he was in Franklin. Got a chance to visit this time and it didn’t disappoint. Had their signature golden monkey latte. Loved the blend of sweet and turmeric spice flavour
Milan K — Google review
Cute coffee shop. Not a huge selection of speciality coffee drinks. The monkey drink, can't remember the specific name, was tasty- chocolate and banana. The house roast is good as well.
Lorna M — Google review
Absolutely NO REASON for EVERY PART of this experience to take as long as it did. The wait for the table. The wait to be greeted by the server. The wait for our drinks. The wait for our food WITHOUT EVER BEING CHECKED ON. This meal (eggs and bacon) SHOULD NOT have taken 1.5 HOURS to be brought to our table! If the server would have ever returned to the table before the food came out, we would have closed out and cancelled our order.
Zachariah K — Google review
My wife and I went to Frothy Monkey 🐵 most places were closed that day but they were open. I gotta tell you that I was really impressed with this place. They took a home and made it into a coffee shop and it’s really homey! This place is great. We were near a booklet with books that you can checkout while you are there. I ordered the Havana Latte and my wife got the Rosemary Honey Latte and both of them were delicious! Also we got some good and I got the Royale sandwiche🤴🏼 and wife got Shrimp and grits 🍤 Gotta tell you the wife was impressed with the grits she loved it and my Royale was very good 👍 If you are looking for a nice coffee ☕️ place with really good food I suggest you give it a try because we loved it! Great atmosphere and also they have a lot of seating especially upstairs!

I was a bit saddened by our disappointing experience given the fantastic reviews this place gets. We arrived in Franklin and wanted to try this place for breakfast as someone recommended it - we went for Sunday breakfast. The vibe seemed great and the menu looked good online so we thought it was a perfect spot. We came in and no one really spoke to us at all so my kids and I stood by the door for a while until eventually we were told it would be about 15 mins for a table (although we were happy to sit outside but I wasn’t sure whether that was only for takeout). They seemed moderately busy as it was late Sunday morning so I thought it maybe this was the result of being too busy. Thankfully the very friendly guy behind the coffee counter let us peruse the menu while we waited (he was very friendly). When we were seated eventually, it was in a back room and it took a while for the young lady looking after our table to approach us. It was just me and my kids so they got two kids breakfasts (a French toast and a kid’s bacon and scrambled eggs meal), and I got an omelette. The food took so long to come out that my kids were getting very restless and really wanted to go elsewhere - it was around 30 minutes between ordering and food coming. The food was okay - my omelette had big chunks of pepper, bacon, and onion inside but they were very oily so I just ate the eggs. The kids were super hungry by that point so they ate! Despite the incredibly slow service (even getting water refills took ages), I found the guy at the front behind the coffee counter to be the nicest out of everyone in the place. There were a few other guys walking around (maybe going upstairs to clear tables? Not sure) and when I accidentally got in his way while looking for the bathroom he was very unhappy with me. Lastly, coffee-wise, I wouldn’t recommend the Golden Monkey unless you like your coffee very heavy/sweet - the blend of flavors just didn’t work very well for me personally (and I normally love cinnamon in my coffee but this had turmeric, cayenne, etc). I did ask if it would be sweet and was told no but it turned out to be quite sweet. I was quite sad about our experience as it came recommended but perhaps it was an off day. Maybe a non-Sunday is a better day to visit.

One of my favorite coffee shops, anywhere. The espresso is always done very very well. The food is very good. The people are extra friendly and helpful. And the overall mood and interior of the shop is a very nice place to be and drink coffee. The only issue is parking can be a challenge but they do have additional parking nearby.
Weldon G — Google review
Typically, this is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast. I love going there. I love the atmosphere and in the past the food and service has always been amazing. However, today, I did not get my coffee until I had finished eating my meal. And the food was semi cold and the bacon tasted old and hard. I will def be back and I hope it’s better.

What a lovely coffee shop. We enjoyed a Havana latte (hot) and an iced Monkey Mocha. Great decor, comfortable seats, great staff, and delicious drinks. Highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed my meal here. It had an upscale atmosphere with excellent service. The devil eggs with bacon were awesome! My burger was done perfectly and was delicious. If you are there on Sunday get the hot donuts! Let me say that again….get the donuts. The lobster bisque was great. Chicken and waffles were solid.
John E — Google review
If you’re over 21 and want a drink, gotta make sure you have an active physical ID or both the paper (with photo) and the old ID. The devil eggs was very creamy and it tastes perfectly with the crispy sweet bacon crunch. The fried Calamari was crunchy on the outside with light batter and chewy inside. Ask for sweet chili sauce instead and it goes well with it. The steak was moist inside and tastes good.
Hanny P — Google review
I was blown away by this restaurant. It was more upscale than I expected from the exterior, but the service was phenomenal, the food was superb, and the prices were reasonable. We started with the grilled artichokes which were great and a few salads and soups. I got the steak special, which I’d definitely order again. Others got the salmon, chicken milanese, and ribs. Nobody was unhappy. We also got a few desserts. We’ll definitely be back!

We went for lunch on a Saturday. It was very nice inside. My husband ordered some sushi for an appetizer. I wasn't really expecting it to be good. I was surprised it was really good! I ordered some grilled fish tacos and I was glad I did! Very flavorful. The fish was perfectly grilled. My husband got the meatloaf. He said it was very good! One of the best he has had. It was a great experience. Definitely would recommend.

Was not expecting BrickTop’s to be as good as it was. Service was top notch (thanks Hannah!)! Food was tender and well made. Their ambiance was upscale and there were indoor and outdoor eating options. Overall I would definitely recommend if you are in the area you won’t be disappointed.

This fine dining establishment is beautifully appointed but fairly loud when busy. The food is excellent and worth every penny. The service is top notch, professional, and attentive.
Shelly S — Google review
I've been to both Nashville locations and the food, service and ambience is excellent. I don't think you can order anything bad on the menu. This place has a cool unpretentious vibe with high quality cuts of surf and turf. Try the lobster bisque and you can't go wrong with either of the chicken dishes. A little disappointed sea bass is off the menu but things can't stay the same forever. Only complaint is it can get on the noisy side. But that's to be expected with a popular place that's packed for dinner every night. A solid dining experience for a restaurant chain like is hard to pull off. Bricktop's nails it.

BrickTop in Franklin, TN is a true gem for anyone who loves fresh, high-quality food served with generous portions. Everything we ordered was excellent — from the salmon and sushi to the lobster and calamari. and steak everything was both flavorful and perfectly prepared. This place was a new one for me and my husband and it was absolutely worth it. My husband had the corn beef and cabbage while I had their mushroom Swiss burger and we shared the Irish cheese chips and everything was cooked perfectly and came out so fast. The portion sizes are Big we ended up taking our appetizer home with us. We had Brandie as our waitress and she was amazing she definitely brightened our day while being there. The service was amazing the girls that serve there had a smile the whole time and are always working to make the place so enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Will definitely will be back. :)

Sadly, there really isn't a good Irish place close to us anymore, as one place closed and the other place changed their menu in a way I don't even know if I would call it Irish. So it's been forever since we had Irish we had to give this a try. Atmosphere wise, kinda makes you feel like your in a little Irish pub. Staff was knowledgeable, very helpful, and friendly. Our waitress messed up with my son's beverage because she wasn't writing anything down and trying to take multiple tablets drink orders at the same time. But she ended up redeeming herself when she suggested an item not on the menu, that saved us over $10, which was cool! My husband and I were both going to get the 2 piece fish and chips at $15/order. She recommended we order the 4 piece (not on the menu) for $20 and we can share it...um, yes please! Over all, the food was good. Was it fabulous 👌🏼, not particularly, but it was good enough that I think we will go back if we find ourselves in the area again. Oh, almost forgot to mention, the pints...now those are true Irish sized pints, and not badley priced! I would recommend this place if your in the area and in the mood for some Irish.

We went for Sunday morning breakfast. Our server Kelly was fantastic. We had the Corned beef hash and the eggs with bangers. Food was traditional and delicious. When visiting Downtown Franklin please stop in.. You won’t be disappointed.

IRISH VIBES with friendly service and small pub atmosphere. Good happy hour specials, including 2 for 1 beers and $2 off wine and well drinks, as well as a few discounted apps. We had the Irish chips. They were salty but tasty. The lavender cocktail was especially good. The reuben with fries was very good. However, the corned beef and cabbage was a bit disappointing. It was quite dry. Whiskey salmon was okay. Mashed potatoes were good. We did not have dessert but there were lots of good options. Seating is limited and first come, first serve.
Ann-Marie — Google review
We eat at this tiny hole in the wall nearly every time we are in Franklin, it's really that good! Definitely Irish themed food and bar menu. Excellent place to eat and/or drink! Highly recommend the fish and chips and if you like excellent drinks, try l the Shanky's Whip-tini they have, delicious! Seating is help yourself. Service is sometimes spotty depending on how busy they are when you go, and turnover amongst the servers is always higher in a small place like this, but still, the service is good to great. Only drawback to this place is the small size and resultant limited seating. Beautiful decor inside, and they even have a couple outdoor dining options if the weather is up to your standards.
Bobby P — Google review
We went on a stroll around the old part of Franklin, Tn yesterday. Stopped in this little spot. Inside was packed. We were offered a table out front on the patio. It was nice and cool so we decided to sit outside. We started with the loaded chips. They were great! Deep fried thinly sliced taters loaded with beer cheese and chives. Served with ranch and sour cream. Well done!! I chose the Reuben and fries. Great flavor but…really skimpy with the meat!! Give me some meat man!! This could’ve been a 5 star Reuben! My wife had the Portabello mushroom sandwich. She liked it but didn’t love it. I asked if she’d order it again. She said no. Great little restaurant! 5 star service! For 50 bucks and full belly. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice place, great atmosphere, excellent service!! Ordered the Patty Melt and Jalapeño burger. Both were delicious!! Stopped by for lunch and glad we did. What a nice place in the middle of every restaurant there could be this is where to go for a burger. Food great. Service great. Summertime Hemingway cocktail delightful. The only thing we didn't like was the bar stools. Very small seat and uncomfortable. We chose to sit at the bar after seated next to several kids. While the area was much quieter and less stress the seats were tough to sit on and don't even think of leaning back! We will be back for more burgers.

I came in here with my wife on a Saturday afternoon they weren't that busy we were seated right away but the server took about 15 minutes to get over to us, we asked for water and put our order in. We never got our water I had to go to the bar to get water we ordered medium on our burgers they were well past well done, had zero flavor I told the server they were super bland and he brought me salt and pepper lol we also had the mushrooms, they also had zero flavor the sauce they came with was okay. Overall pretty bad experience. Surprising with such a competitive area. Me and my wife won't be back. I recommend you go elsewhere to spend your hard earned money

Stopped in for a quick dinner on Sunday night. We were quickly seated! My wife chose fried mushrooms for an appetizer. I had sweet potato fries. She enjoyed the mushrooms. My fries were soggy 🫤🫤 It didn’t stop me from eating all of them. I had grilled Pineapple Chipotle wings for an entree. They were cooked nicely and the sauce was spot on. My wife had the mushroom Swiss impossible burger and fries. She said it was good but the cooked onions could’ve been cooked longer. All in all a decent meal! Best part….someone picked up the tab!

I had turkey burger. My wife had smashed burger. We both enjoyed the food. A good Bit Above average. Would try again. I would like an alternative ground meat option like ground chicken or pork. And the Onion ring sauce was outstanding I actually put on my burger. Give them a try!!!

This might just be my favorite burger joint of all time. Literally everything tasted phenomenal! My jalapeño smash burger was amazing. The garlic fries are something I'm going to daydream about. The nachos were fantastic and I finished it up with a strawberry shake. I'm definitely going back for more.

The food here is great. They have excellent vegetarian and gluten free options as well, and the staff is very knowledgeable and understanding about dietary restrictions. Occasionally some staff can seem unwelcoming or blasé about customers. The place is clean, I’m just not a fan of the metal stools at some tables and wish they would change these out for something more comfortable.

When we walked in I could tell the food would be good due to the aesthetics! The place looks a bit dumpy but that’s when you know the food is going to be good! Our waitress was extremely attentive! Very on point! Service was quick! The sautéed crab claws were delicious! We also had the chargrilled oysters which were a bit smaller than we are accustomed to but still really good & flavorful! Me & hubby had the catfish platters & the fish tasted like it was just caught that morning! Really fresh! Fried green tomatoes & the fried okra were really good as well! And shout out to the bartender who made the margaritas! They were amazing!

My dad and I just had dinner here. The food is good. The service was good but a little bit slow for a weekend night. The atmosphere is good and has a good feel to it. The bar tender and the rest of the staff were very nice and friendly when it comes to interacting with the customers. It’s a good place to try some food that you haven’t had before it does get crowded during college football season and March Madness but it does have plenty of seating inside and outside under the covered patio. The price of the food is not too terribly expensive just depending on your taste buds. Please get a few more staff to help out on the weekends.

So I had to delete my old review and rewrite a new one . The new manager I can’t remember his name but I know that the initial is P. He was so nice and welcoming. He was helpful and just so nice. Please keep him because I’ve never felt welcomed ever at this location. I wish I could give the manager 100 stars . The only issue I have is i ordered a dozen oysters and they only gave me 11 lol but the 11 oysters was amazing

Beware of the quantities. Charge $6-$8 for a cup of dish and the the dish is full of rice than actually dish you pay for. Food generally tastes great and I’ve been visiting here for years but this level of quality degradation is disappointing.

ALWAYS SOLID. The food here is always good. Service is good too, even when they are busy. A wide variety of items on the menu. The skillets seem to come in bowls now and not the iron cast skillet. Perhaps they were out of actual skillets the day that I ordered mine. Coffee is good and I like that they leave a pot of coffee for you so you don't have to flag anyone down for refills. Million dollar is tasty (but not life changing). All the egg Benedict choices are delicious too. Atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Easy parking. No complaints. Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch for a party of one or a large party.

The times I’ve been to First watch has been really good. The service is very good at getting the order in and bringing the drinks to the table and their knowledge and helpful when it comes to giving good recommendations on the food options. The food is good and it has a good amount of flavor and taste when you bite into it. The atmosphere is nice and has an old school barn feel and vibe that is very inviting and is on the lines of feeling like being at home. When it comes to the food you get plenty of bang for your buck and the price is worth every dime. The past times we’ve been here getting our refills has been slow and it could be a little more easier when it’s crowded

I eat here a couple of times each month with the same friend for Friday breakfast. The food and service has always been solid until today. Today started with it taking an unusual amount of time to be acknowledged at our table. We placed our order at the same time and my food came out 15 minutes before my friend’s food. She insisted that I go ahead and eat my meal which was difficult to do because our server had taken my iced tea for a refill and didn’t bring it back. When she finally returned with my unsweet iced tea, it was sweet tea! That resulted in another 5 minute wait to be served the correct tea. Meanwhile, we are still waiting for my friend’s food. My potatoes were undercooked. I sent those back and the explanation I received was that too many were being cooked at the same time! When my friend finally received her food, the server apologized for the time and then said “at least it’s hot”. Yeah it was a HOT MESS today!

1799 Kitchen & Cocktails is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food, great service and a fantastic drink menu. The appetizer of whipped feta is a must, and the beef tenderloin is incredible. It's the perfect spot for date night or an evening out with friends.
The menu was recently updated and includes some cool flavor combinations. We enjoyed the blueberry mustard and honey whiskey dips with the pork belly as well as the picked strawberries that adorned the asparagus side. The bison Land dinner options were both tasty, the melanese shown. My most favorite of the night was the au gratin potatoes, done perfectly and a solid portion size so you could enjoy every tasty bite. Service was a bit slower, so you won't feel rushed but don't come if you have somewhere to be after in a time crunch. It felt very European so the focus was on relaxing and enjoying the food and company.

It was a wonderful surprise to walk into 1799 and discover such a beautifully decorated restaurant. The romantic touches throughout truly set a special mood. You don't always associate hotel restaurants with such a quaint and inviting ambiance, but 1799 certainly delivers. The exceptional service was the next highlight of our experience. Timmy immediately made us feel comfortable and promptly brought us some of the dishes we were eager to try. And the food! Everything was absolutely delicious and incredible. From the warm bread to the decadent dessert, every dish was tastefully prepared and presented. A special shout-out to the general manager Sarena A. for making us feel so welcome and at ease. As local Franklin residents, we are keen to continue promoting 1799. We look forward to many more memorable meals here!

It was our first time at 1799 and I have to say we had the best experience there! The food was phenomenal, the service was outstanding (Timmy was an amazing server), and the atmosphere was very intimate which we loved! I got the special which was a seafood risotto, it was absolutely amazing…I still think about that dish because it was THAT good! The cocktails were a solid 10/10. It was definitely an expensive dinner but it was SOOOOO worth it! We can’t wait to come back!

A Remarkable Fine Dining Experience at 1799 in Franklin, Tennessee If you’re searching for the best fine dining in Franklin, Tennessee, look no further than 1799. Nestled inside a the Harpeth hotel, this restaurant offers a luxurious and memorable atmosphere. We had the pleasure of dining in “the barrel,” a beautifully illuminated space with an inviting vibe. The booth seating outside the barrel is dark and moody, making it perfect for an intimate and romantic date. The culinary delights were unforgettable. I savored the chuck eye bison steak, a special of the evening, which was perfectly cooked and topped with delicious mushrooms. The restaurant also offers several other bison options year-round. My mother enjoyed the halibut, which she declared the best she’s ever had; so buttery and topped with a parmesan crust. The accompanying vegetables and sauce were equally impressive. We also ordered the au gratin potatoes, and they were the most perfectly crafted version I’ve ever had; enough to serve four people! To top off the evening, they surprised my mom with a chocolate and raspberry cake for her birthday. The service was exceptional, thanks to Anastasia, who made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured we had a five-star dining experience. For anyone looking for the best fine dining experience near Nashville, 1799 is the place to go!

We’ve been to the Harpeth before and we’ve had samples of their food at whiskey events but this was the first time trying it for dinner. It was an hour drive for us coming from north Nashville so we were hoping the drive was worth it. It was. The Harpeth Liepers Forks collaboration of bourbon started the night off right. We had superb appetizers; pork belly, cheese fondue and fried mushrooms as a side but they made a great appetizer. Anastasia took great care of us and had this great suggestion about the mushrooms. The Prime Filet Wellington was the best we’ve ever had. We finished off with a phenomenal Carrot Cake. It was so good we inhaled it before we could get a picture. We’d definitely recommend 1799 for a high class gourmet meal that has a spectacular bourbon selection!!!

Great atmosphere and food. May be the best nice dinner date night place in Franklin. I strongly recommend the lamb and roasted cauliflower. The bar area has a smaller food menu and seemed good for dropping in.
Jeff A — Google review
I tried it with my friend the other day and it was marvelous!! Filet Wellington was outstanding and a huge portion enough for two to share. Drinks were great too. Carpaccio was ok, I’ve had better. They pour olive oil over carpaccio and it is a little weird. Highly recommend carrots and gratin potatoes were excellent! We will be back! Service provided by Anastasia was excellent and attentive. Loved it!

Always a fantastic spot for a relaxed dinner with friends! It’s one of the rare gems in the area where the ambient noise stays delightfully low, allowing you to savor every word of your conversation without shouting across the table. The Beef Wellington was an absolute standout—tender, perfectly seared filet wrapped in flaky pastry with a rich mushroom duxelles—paired beautifully with the roasted cauliflower, which offered a delightful caramelized crunch and subtle spice. For an unforgettable finale, Sarena truly pulled out all the stops, presenting the ladies with decadent hot chocolate crowned by fluffy, house-made toasted marshmallow cream and a whimsical sprinkle of edible glitter that added a magical, festive sparkle to the evening.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
Garcia's Mexican Restaurant in Franklin is a family-run establishment offering familiar Mexican cuisine in a lively and relaxed atmosphere complete with a patio and bar. One of their standout dishes is the popular fish tacos made with grouper, avocado, pico de gallo, cabbage, and chipotle sauce served alongside black beans and fluffy rice. The restaurant is known for its fresh ingredients and unique take on traditional Mexican favorites, such as their flavorful salsa with an extra kick of spice and fresh cilantro.
Garcia's in Franklin TN (Hwy 96) is not your average Mexican restaurant! A pleasant atmosphere invites one to a wonderful occasion. The food is served with style and exceptional flavors! You will wonder why Mexican food all these years couldn't have been this good? Recommended
Albert D — Google review
The food was Fabulous as Always. I have been coming to Garcia's for over 20 years and have Always enjoyed the experience. Not so much this time. The waiters and waitresses are over worked. They have to take the order, bring your food, keep checking on you, bring your check and then have to take your money. There were 3 people up front doing nothing but seating people and taking care of to go orders. Really... Do you really need 3 people doing that job!! Help the waiters and waitress.
Joyce L — Google review
Worst experience I have ever had at Garcia's. Our server didn't write down our orders. I wish they wouldn't allow this cos the mistake rate goes way up when they do this. She got our orders wrong. Our server took our orders and then never came back. Someone else set our food on the table, and the server never checked on us, so we couldn't tell her about the mistake. When we tried to tell her about it, she walked away. I didn't complain to a manager, cos they were all young and grouped up at the front door talking. I knew it was useless. I don't know what's happened to Garcia's. It used to be good. But years ago, I think it changed ownership, and it has gone downhill since. I got the distinct feeling that nobody cares at this place. Esp the woman who waited on us. There are so many Mexican restaurants, I am sure I can find another one that treats their customers better.
Nerd D — Google review
Beware of unstated groups charge....and a manager who shouldn't work with people. I have been eating at this location since it first opened. I also worked for years in the food service industry. It is the best Mexican restaurant near us. However, they're really letting some things slip. The majority of that is a service problem. Some of my disappointment was in the food quality (runny, flavorless, diluted queso dip). We went in about *3:30, the restaurant was empty.* I said 7 and asked not to be seated at a booth. The host said we only have tables for six, and we put a chair at the end. 😳 Is this a joke? There was literally only ONE OTHER GUEST. In front of me, I could see two tables pushed together. I said can we not have those? no. I said I don't want a booth. Actually, the reason is because my aunt has MS and it is very hard for her to move laterally due to poor coordination. Additionally, her daughter has had a knee replacement and doesn't want her hurt knee either sticking out. It's not that hard, when there was literally every OPEN TABLE in the restaurant. Another woman comes from the back and says "we only have tables for 6. We have to put a chair at the end of a table for you." Wow. Ok fine. We take a seat. From there, they brought two small baskets of chips and salsa. I promptly said we will need another basket please. It never came. The server came to take drink orders, he was nice. He left and got our drinks, still no other chips. He brought our cheese dips, two, and no other chips. We asked again bc at that point we were empty. He took one and refilled it. Seriously? 7 ppl, early in the meal, we just got two quesos and they're already being stingy with chips? Food came quickly. It was good and order was correct. The three kids had no drinks. He brought two back. 😒 We asked AGAIN for more water....and please remember the restaurant was empty and fully staffed. Server asked if we need anything else before the check. Kids dessert. And more chips. He said if it is to go, I will have to charge you. I said no, I've been asking for more chips the whole time. So he brings the chips and the bill. It had an extra service charge for a large party. This is the first Time I have ever been charged for a party of 7. Eight+ is one thing or even if the bill is divided up into many bills, understandable. But it wasn't. It was four adults and three kids.... **Which they made us sit in a smaller table for**... And then charged me extra. I paid it and signed the bill, said bye to server. As I was leaving, I checked the menu.* There is no mention of a policy to charge extra for large parties.* Nope. Which honestly tracks with my experience for the last 20+ years there....they don't charge unless it's like "a party". 7 people has never been a large group before. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I asked to speak to the manager. The hostess nicely asked why and I explained. She said she was sorry about that and would ask. The manager was a 20 something white woman approximately 5'7-5'8 with blue eyes. She told me yes that's their policy. I said, "ok that's news to me, where is that written? Can you show me?" She said it's not written anywhere. I said then how is that fair? She said that's our policy. I said, "so this has never happened to me, and it's not written anywhere that we know of, it's not on the menu, and you're now just telling me it's the policy. Do you see the problem here?" No that's our policy. "Ok, well it's unfair to charge people extra without telling them first." "no, that's our policy and we have always done this, you're a large party." I said the problem is you could charge us anything, with no notice, and we got bad service. Because of YOUR policy, I got bad service, because I guess the server knows he can do that. Bear in mind, I've already paid the bill, and I'm not nagging the server. I'm talking to the manager. She was incredibly rude and condescending to me. She told me that I was "the only person who had ever complained about this." Then she looked at me, defiant, and said can I do something else for you? Nope.

We were looking for some good Mexican food on our trip home, and the Hotel recommended Garcias. We were NOT disappointed! Welcoming responsive service, good margaritas (we had a Skinny & Organic), flavorful entrees with a just right kick. Easy in the wallet, too! This might be a routine stop on our annual trip now, it was that good.

Not busy for a 1 pm lunch. Server came right away, took our drink orders, then gave us time to read the menu. Very good selection. Food was well made and plate presentation nice. I had spinach and shrimp with rice and beans. My friend had chicken flautas. Enjoyable meal.

It was a fun little stop for a birthday dinner with friends. The staff very well organized and friendly. We actually saw a lot of people we knew inside the restaurant. All in all a great experience. The food was super tasty and and margaritas as the proverbial icing on the cake.

10/10 - this place is amazing and as authentic as humanly possible. We tried the motley creuben and the philly and *kisses chef* they are amazing. The service was great, the beers delicious and the food absolutely phenomenal. My husband's family owned a (now closed) Irish pub and this place brings back all the memories and is so on point. Quaint neighborhood bar with great bar food. The bruschetta appetizer was good but needed some basil. The beer battered fries were amazing especially dipped in ranch. Sweet potato fries were also good. The meat lovers pizza took a really long time to come out but it was piping hot with a crispy crust and was delicious. Would definitely come back here. Plenty of free parking.

I had lunch with my friend here. The food options are good and they taste good. The staff was really good to get our order in and getting refills. The atmosphere is good and feels laid back and chill. The experience is good and I would recommend coming at lunch time. The price tag for the food is well worth the price. They have seating inside and outside. The bar area is a good size. This place has plenty of items for kids to eat as well. The beer selection on tap is good. The variety of tvs to watch is good.

Fantastic place to eat! Food is amazing! We had the Fish and Chips (Large Cod filets cooked perfectly with homemade tarter sauce that is best I’ve had! Large portion of crispy fries) and the 12” Meaty Quinn Pizza (Delicious homemade crust that is a little thicker than thin crust but not as thick as typical hand tossed. Sauce is perfect - not too sour, not too sweet. Definitely didn’t skimp on the meats and cheese!) Reasonably priced! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Steak house
Restaurant
Perry's Steakhouse & Grille in Cool Springs is an elegant dining destination offering a diverse menu featuring premium steaks, seafood, and an extensive selection of wines and cocktails. The restaurant is currently hosting a special Valentine's Day celebration with a delectable 3-course prix fixe menu that includes options like Lobster Bisque, Filet Perry, Chargrilled Salmon, and decadent desserts. For private events, the restaurant offers six different rooms catering to various group sizes.
Our party of six had the pleasure of dining at Perry’s Steakhouse in Cool Springs, Tennessee, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the French onion soup, lobster bisque, seafood-stuffed mushrooms, jumbo lump crabcakes, and of course, Perry’s legendary pork chop. Every item was cooked to absolute perfection—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The Steakhouse Smorgasbord was a standout, offering a delicious sampling of expertly prepared meats and sides. The whipped potatoes were an indulgent highlight—creamy, smooth, and the perfect complement to the rest of the meal. And dessert? The Rocky Road bread pudding was the perfect sweet ending—warm, gooey, and decadently satisfying. What made the evening even more enjoyable was the relaxed, unhurried pace. We were given plenty of time to savor every course, enjoy conversation, and never once felt rushed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is absolute perfection—refined, comfortable, and ideal for a memorable evening out. Perry’s Steakhouse exceeded every expectation. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying great food with friends, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Perry’s is consistent. I have never had a bad meal here. I’ve dined at this location several times as well as the Frisco TX and Birmingham AL locations. Food was very good and ample portions. D’Mario provided great service!

Perry’s was a great steakhouse with a lot of options! Alex, our server, was very knowledgeable and helpful with navigating through the menu. I highly recommend the Pork Appetizer, it was the highlight of the meal. The French Onion was very sweet and has the addition of shaved garlic that gives it a unique spin on a classic. The atmosphere is great with a grand bar and window looking into the kitchen. Next time I’m in Franklin, I will be stopping in.
Andrew C — Google review
Beautiful restaurant similar to other Perry’s custom buildouts. Cocktails were great. Food was top-notch. Service was good, but slow granted they were fully booked and yet staffed up quite well. One thing that slowed it down was that the waitress would not take our order without sending over the manager to take a simple food allergy. That’s good that they are sensitive to the matter but the process for handling that isn’t great. The prices are reasonable for the quality especially compared to other comparable options.

Vernon is the man! There are no other words to describe him! From start to finish, our first experience at Perry's was exceptional! Vernon was knowledgeable of the menu, made great recommendations, and checked in a healthy number of times to make sure we were good. The food was absolutely perfect! The prime rib was so tender and flavorful. Every other dish that my family ordered, was seasoned well and yummy. The grand finale was the bread pudding! We ate and left no crumbs! Can't wait to return!

The food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding. I had the sea bass and it was amazing. My colleague had the seafood kabob. It was a show stopper! Im getting that next time. We also had a lemon bar, chocolate flour less cake, and an awesome bananas foster.

The food was very amazing probably the best steak i had ever! Me and my boyfriend came here for our 3 year anniversary! We traveled from memphis/collierville , Tennessee. Now we are in our early twenties and finding ourselves to love fine dining and new culinary experience so we love trying new restaurants. We came in on a Saturday night and seemed crowded and I didn’t know the restaurant set up before coming. The first table we sat at was a booth and chair situation by other couples so i asked to get moved to the patio to be secluded. They made this accommodation quick and easy which i am so grateful for because the patio was wonderful! Sat right next to the fire and enjoyed dinner! My only “complaint” would be service, honestly! I honestly don’t even think our waitress told us her name😭 it was a very straight forward service from her to sum it up. A lot of times dining experiences can be a total hit or miss as many other younger people and or minority people know due to certain factors and things people have said that comes with serving us and i hate that very much so. I do believe service sets the tone for a great dining experience and great outcome from the people dining. Yes me and my boyfriend are young but we do understand fine dining cost which we do not mind at all ! while we were sitting down we were thinking about how we could go to Texas Roadhouse and get the same meal for $60 dollars and some change and a more concerning waitress😂seriously i do hope all was well with our waitress and that she was having an okay day because at the end of the day you never know what people are dealing with 💓💓

I enjoyed taking my husband to Perry's for his birthday. He had the Surf and Turf, and I had the Sunday pork chops. Our younger children joined us for the celebration and loved the pasta from the kid's menu. The food was fantastic! It was extremely busy when we went, and it took a bit for our dining experience. (A little over 2 hours.) Thankfully, our children brought some items to keep themselves entertained, along with being reminded that they were getting to have a "fancy" dinner.

Love this place so much! My favorite thing here is their amazing cinnamon roll. I’ve enjoyed cinnamon rolls all over the country, and certainly all over Tennessee, but I have to say that the Franklin Bakehouse has the best. Anywhere. A textual description won’t do them justice…just go and get yourself one (or a few)! My daughter is a big fan of their chocolate croissants, baguette bread and their sandwiches! The food is delicious: English muffin w sausage egg and cheese Bagel sandwich w cheese and bacon. .. the caveat is that you have to pay for every piece of the sandwich. They did come w a fruit cup. But with the prices in the economy, I'm not mad, the menu board was just deceiving. Update: Went to the website, and the breakfast sandwich I ordered is an option listed at $8.99. With the way I ordered (and had to pay each piece), my sandwich cost $9.46. (Not a big difference. Just super surprising when I looked at my total. Great food, though. The day old pastries (5 pieces for $7.99 was the real winner. The vanilla and oreo parfait was my partner's favorite! I do have to say, the iced vanilla latte, was pretty perfect 😀

We were so excited to try this place! We got a couple of breakfast sandwiches that were delicious as were the 2 lattes. We treated ourselves to a cinnamon roll except I would not actually consider it a treat. It had so much icing on it you could barely taste the cinnamon. We will definitely opt for a different treat next time.

Food was really good - quiche and cinnamon roll. But my goodness - the front was run by a bunch of 16-year olds who didn’t know what they were doing. Had no idea what hot tea is. Had to ask repeatedly for our drinks. ‘Oops, I forgot’. A couple of adults did peak out from the kitchen a time or two, but they weren’t taking care of business.

Showww. You should enjoy this bar/disco. With 3 or 4 different rooms and an outside patio. It's small, but is good enough for you to create unforgettable memories.
Vanilza L — Google review
Where do I start? Kimbro's is MAGICAL. Every single room has a different set of talented people performing and you can quite literally feel the talent oozing out of the building. The front porch outside will have 10 people singing "take me home country roads" with an acoustic guitar, the piano room has someone playing keys and singing their heart out while a couple on their first date listens on the couch next to it, the main jam room showcases some of the most talented local artists I have ever seen/heard, and the community inside is out of this world. Kimbros feels like home. I am from Franklin, TN but moved to Minneapolis for my job.... every time I am in town, I stop in literally every night hoping to see Snowbird Hollow or The Henry Cruz band.... some of the most talented young artists in the biz. Thank you for providing a safe space for musicians of every genre to gather and share their talents. Cannot wait to be back and have a Gerst on the patio!

Pub
Restaurant
Located in Franklin, Corner Pub is a beloved neighborhood spot known for its laid-back atmosphere and classic American pub fare. The restaurant offers a wide selection of comfort food, including wings, sandwiches, and burgers. With its outdoor patio, it's the perfect place to enjoy a casual meal while soaking up some fresh air. As an official partner of the NHL and with designated bench seats at Bridgestone Arena for Predators games, Corner Pub is a great spot to catch your favorite sports events.
First time dining here. Excellent experience. Quality food that doesn't need to be over seasoned. Salad was fresh, I am guessing they make their own dressings. Hot rub and Buffalo wings had heat but not too much so you can taste the chicken. I highly recommend everyone try this place. The wait staff is very attentive even though it was busy.

**Restaurant Review: Corner Pub** I recently visited Corner Pub and was eager to enjoy what I hoped would be a delightful dining experience. The restaurant boasts a quaint atmosphere that is charming and inviting, making it a lovely spot for a casual meal. Unfortunately, the experience fell short when it came to the food. Regrettably, the quality of the dishes was very subpar. Each item seemed to have been fried in old grease, leaving a lingering taste that was quite unappealing. The chicken sandwich, in particular, had an off taste that made it hard to enjoy. Given the lack of quality in the food, I cannot recommend Corner Pub. While the ambiance has potential, the culinary experience left much to be desired. I would not return in the future.

Hello, I had the Cobb salad (strawberries, sesame seeds, romaine lettuce, ham, turkey, minus the goat cheese, boiled egg). It was more salad than I could comfortably eat so possibly going to want a to go box. I would definitely eat the salad again 4.5 stars. I don’t like strawberries i didn’t tell them to leave them out and they’re good for you in some way. *Shrugs* ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 We also ordered chicken tenders and fries. I would say that these chicken tenders were the best chicken that i personally have ever tried. Highly recommend. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Onion rings appetizer, they forgot what appetizer we ordered, incorrectly guessed fried pickles and came back to the table to double check before putting the order in so that was good that they made a timely fix. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 Steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions with fries, cornbread and gravy. They were sold out of strawberry lemonade. (One of two reasons I gave them 4 stars for service)

Great food and excellent service! Definitely adding to our list of places to return to!

I really like the corner bar. Kitchen is open past 9, and I wasn’t expecting much in the way of food, but the 3 meals my group ordered were all spectacular. Bbq sandwich was great, chicken wings were great, just the right level of spice, and the smash burger was great. Excellent draft beer selection with daily specials. Live music when we came made it difficult to talk but there was plenty of atmosphere to enjoy instead.

What sense does it make putting a ramekin of sauce in a box with scolding hot food so it can melt then be all a huge mess when I get it. you put the ketchup on the outside why couldn’t you put the blue cheese on the outside? It doesn’t make sense to me whatsoever. I expect this kind of nonsense at McDonald’s highly disappointed with the room temperature IQ move.

Good variety of food and friendly staff. I enjoyed the smashburger with fried okra. My group of 15 all enjoyed the food and service.

Stopped in at The Corner Pub - Franklin to catch up with an old friend, and it ended up being the perfect choice. The service was lightning fast and incredibly friendly, it felt like we’d been regulars for years even though it was just a quick visit. Great variety on the menu (something for everyone), and the drinks were solid without breaking the bank. There’s definitely a relaxed, hometown vibe here, like the kind of place where you could run into your neighbor or your high school math teacher and end up sharing a beer. Only downside? The parking lot is a bit tight, but honestly, the experience more than made up for it. Looking forward to the next visit already!

I visited this shop on 2 different visits to Franklin. This a charming shop. I have always had excellent customer service. The prices are bit high but the quality of the spices are top notch. You can taste most of the spices and there is a sink with cups so you can cleanse your pallet if needed when tasting the multitude of options in the shop. The staff members I have encountered have been knowledgeable and kind.

Greeted with a warm welcome and a wonderful aroma of spices. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Lots of opportunities to taste and smell the products.

Hollie and David at savory spice are so knowledgeable and friendly. They have every conceivable spice can imagine and if they don’t have some thing they will find it for you and ship it to you. I loved their soup mixes and they always have the freshest spices shipped in weekly. If you love to cook, you have to stop in and check out their amazing selection.

The moment you walk through the doors the aroma may make you hungry! Friendly and helpful staff. Buy spices in bulk - as much or as little as you want. Also have packaged items like soups. Fun shop for some of those hard to find spices and for great recommendations to take your cooking and recipes to the next level.

The staff at the store was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed my time selecting spices to help accompany my future meals. The female attendant was super kind in helping gather my selections. I will certainly be back. I signed up for the rewards program. Thanks to the team at Savory spice shop. If you ever need help setting up an e-commerce store give me a ring!

A must visit for all chefs and bakers. An entire cabinet for types of cinnamon, lots of curry, paprika, and everything in between. Friendly staff.

Always find the hard-to-find items here. But they also do an excellent job with elevated every day spices like salts and peppers.
