Spencer's Coffee is a trendy and cozy coffeehouse located near Western Kentucky University. The shop boasts a contemporary vibe with chic furnishings, vibrant plants, and garage door windows that let in plenty of sunshine and fresh air. It's an ideal spot for meetings, coffee dates, or solo study sessions. In addition to serving coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches, Spencer's also offers beers.
This coffee shop serves delicious coffee! They also went above and beyond by accommodating all my special requests, including the temperature and amount of milk I prefer in my latte. I truly appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail.
Lokotok — Google review
Spencer’s is the social hub of Bowling Green. Located right on the main square it’s a favorite spot for students and community members to gather for a meeting, study or hang. Coffee and food are good: it’s not cheap, but you should be expecting that. If you’re visiting BG, Spencer’s OG location is a “must visit”.

One of the best coffee shop I have ever been to, I find this better than ones in Nashville, and definitely better than Starbucks. Their pastries are just so good!!!! I love ordering my coffee and a pastry in morning/brunch when I'm near here. They need to open one in Nashville/Madison TN area. I would go every week! Keep up the great work!!! My fav pastries so far is the strawberry muffin with cream cheese filling and coconut flavor granola bar when they have it (they rotate the flavors out every so often so it's always different, which makes it more fun!).
Esther — Google review
We are visiting Bowling Green and we must have gone to 4-5 different coffee shops in our short stay, this is the best one. The store is warm and welcoming, love the old brick building and the quaint ambience. I had my go to Breve Latte, it’s smooth and creamy and delicious. Hubby had the vanilla latte and it doesn’t have the usual chemical after taste that you would get with commercial syrup. Best cup of coffee in Bowling Green!
PRiScIlLa — Google review
Updated review.. tried the club sandwich and chili soup. Both were excellent choices. Tried a cranberry granola bar as well and it was surprisingly good too! Spencer's is a great space to grab a coffee, sit with your laptop, eat, fellowship or just look out the window. I enjoyed my meal and the vibe of the place. My lunch sandwich was pretty good and the Thai lentil soup was fantastic. Lots of pastries to choose from of which I got a chocolate chip cookie that I found kind of dense but was edible. Overall a very nice experience that I recommend giving a try!
The S — Google review
Local coffee shop right downtown. Tried the green goddess sandwich today for the first time and it was super fresh and tasty. The canned sparkling teas from the fridge are also surprisingly good. Never have had an interaction with staff here that was less than friendly :)
Kati M — Google review
Great coffee and great food. Was busy but service was organized and quick. Chicken and rice soup is delicious!
Drew K — Google review
My husband and I drove through town on our way back to Nashville and were SO thrilled to find Spencer’s! We love finding new craft coffee shops on our road trips and this is a new regular spot for us when driving north!! I had the blackberry rosemary latte and it was stellar! So delicious! I also had the big salad which was amazing- their balsamic dressing is fantastic. Lots of room to sit and talk/read/work & the staff is SO friendly. Highly highly recommend this beautiful place!

Q Coffee Emporium - The Point at Peachtree is a modern and stylish coffee shop located in a beautiful strip mall. The ambiance features sleek seating, black and white tile walls, greenery, and bookshelves. They offer a full espresso bar and an artisan bakery that serves delicious made-from-scratch pastries, croissants, baguettes, and cinnamon rolls.
Love going to this place! My favorite is the chicken salad croissant, with pumpkin bread (more like cake) for dessert. My mother always made pumpkin cake for us, and Q’s cream cheese frosting tastes just like mom’s. The atmosphere here is relaxing, and that’s something I really enjoy on a day off. I only wished there was pizza offered at both locations and a carrot cake!
Valerie P — Google review
This was my first time at this cool spot to take a break from riding. The atmosphere was super relaxing and the staff spot on for friendly and being helpful in finding me a coffee to boost my morale for the day. It's also freaking awesome they have a book section for people to take a breather if they need to. There is a outside sitting area out back and lots of open space so you don't feel compacted like some places especially if you like your own space. Definitely stop in and grab you a drink drink to keepyour day going or smash down some food for extra energy. Much love to Q for their great hospitality.
Christopher T — Google review
I am in love with this place! It has a cute library/seating section and The other location is upscale.i attend events there. Both have outside seating that is a treat in the spring. I will be here all the time.
Heather G — Google review
I didn’t get anything to eat. But the coconut cold brew was delicious! I loved the atmosphere. This would be a cool place to hang out with friends!
Jenny H — Google review
Visiting friend in Bowling Green and we must have tried out 4-5 coffee shops. Q was alright, the store is spacious with a community feel to it. The one thing I am not a fan is the loud rotating menu screens. When you have space for multiple screens you really don’t need them to rotate. Either they flash too fast before you can find what you want, or you wait forever for the next screen to find what you want. Either way it’s annoying and not efficient. And the loud graphic doesn’t match the store ambience. I had my go to Breve Latte, the espresso and half&half ratio is a little off to my taste. And being an espresso snob, it always touches a nerve when I see shops using fully aromatic espresso machine. I know I know if you have the machines perfectly tuned up, then you can have your grandma or your 8 yrs old niece to press the button and make good espresso. But that’s just not what I anticipate of a coffee shop. Overall a good place to hang out and the food looks yummy
PRiScIlLa — Google review
First time trying this place with my boyfriend and it did not disappoint ! I don’t really drink coffee like that so I often forget to substitute milk for oat or almond milk since I’m lactose. My boyfriend went back to order another drink for me and was going to pay for it since I made the mistake by not letting them know to sub it in the first place. Especially since they had already made the drink, but the barista was super nice about it and made another drink on the house. Everyone there was so nice and friendly ! Definitely will be back !!
Selena T — Google review
Shout out to barista Presley! Presley was so kind to help me out with a big, potentially complicated order. But it wasn’t complicated because he was joyfully patient with me and asked all the right questions to make my order process go smoothly. His communication and people reading skills are elite. Thanks again Presley, you’re a gem.

Corner Bakery Cafe is a casual eatery that operates as a fast-casual restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. This dog-friendly cafe provides outdoor seating for customers to enjoy their meals alongside their furry companions. The menu consists of a variety of dishes such as sandwiches, pasta, pastries, scramblers, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, Power Flats, oatmeals, yogurt salads and soups.
Wow! Wish we had a spot like this in the North East but definitely a hidden gem. Very clean and staff was very personable. Easy walk up ordering and pictures on the menu matched the presented food. Plenty of options including a pastry selection. Pete took our order and even asked us how everything was before we left. 👍🏻👍🏻 Grab a seat and place your order number in the provided display and food delivered to your table when ready. Plenty of food in each order for a FULL breakfast. I left some eggs and potatoes behind. Whole wheat / grain toast was delicious addition and contrast to the smokey bacon. Wife loved the avocado bacon bowl. Will definitely keep my eye out for this chain in the future. Found the location through Google map search for breakfast and was more than pleasantly surprised with the suggestion.

I was here 3 days ago, had the same meal and it was great 👍🏾 Today? There are too many things going wrong at the same time. • order took too long considering only 3 customers inside. • Pancakes had a very odd & not good taste, perhaps toss out the batter? • they forgot to make the chicken sausage and bring it out with the pancake order, and when I reminded them, it arrived it zero flavor • both regular coffee dispensers had old & cold coffee • the black plastic coffee lids DON'T fit the cups • the soda/ice machine had NO ICE • appears that only ONE staff member was taking orders, cleaning tables, and multiple other tasks. SHE was helpful and polite, but the deck is stacked against her way things are run. Manager... do better or all the customers you do this will just quietly disappear without saying a word.

My husband and I have been going here for years. We have always enjoy Sunday brunch and have had great memories and experiences here. Unfortunately today’s experience will make us have second guesses on any return. The staff seemed ok but you could tell the atmosphere has changed. They were nice but you could see food piling up needing to be served but just sitting there. Also most all the tables were very dirty and sticky. We have been sitting staring at a pile of dishes for 20 minutes. Floors had debris and was not being attended too. My husband and I have both worked in the food service field and know it can be stressful and difficult at times. Not sure what can be done, but we felt so strong how we loved this place that we just needed to share. Hoping improvements can happen soon.
Maibelline R — Google review
just everything based on the facts! 07/05/2025 disappointed with the service: the coffee in the machine is cold, the machine with carbonated drinks does not work at all, flies are flying around on the sweets in the confectionery department. We ordered a cupcake for my son, they brought pancakes, then we waited for our cupcake. We ordered breakfast with potatoes, they did not bring potatoes, although they were punched in separately on the check, although they should be included in the breakfast.
Igor V — Google review
Having been a long-time fan of Corner Bakery, it saddens me to say that the quality of this once-beloved eatery seems to have declined over the years. While the friendly and welcoming staff remains a highlight, the food's taste and overall quality have taken a downturn. The dishes I once savored now feel lackluster and unappetizing. Furthermore, I've noticed a decline in the restaurant's cleanliness, which left me feeling uneasy about the overall dining experience. Despite these issues, I commend the employees for their consistent warmth and professionalism. It truly pains me to see a restaurant fall short of its former glory. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and works to bring back the Corner Bakery I once adored.
Michele P — Google review
I have loved this Corner Bakery for years, but am sad to say that it has gone wayyyy down hill over the last few years. I have had a lot of disappointing visits recently and after today, I don't think I will be going back. The food quality has gone down - I used to pickup dozens of cookies here to deliver to my customers, but even the quality of the cookies is not what it should be anymore. The inside of the restaurant is in desperate need of some cleaning. The floors are filthy and sticky, and the whole restaurant has a foul smell. Their drive through speaker box has been out of order for at least 2 months, possibly 3 months at this point. Not sure why they are not getting that fixed, but it seems like a basic repair that is being neglected. Also, while food quality has gone down, their prices have increased. If the food quality and service were good, I would not even mention the price. All in all, really disappointed in Corner Bakery in BG. They need to get it together because I know a lot of people that have stopped going there recently due to similar complaints.
Beth T — Google review
Sadly the drive-through menu was out. Went in because I had never been there before and needed to look at the menu. The fountain machine was down and the coffee bar didn't even have all the options it displayed. The food was way overpriced for what you're getting since it all seems store-bought and thrown on the shelves. Four dollars for a side of bacon? When the bacon looks like it was bought from Sam's Club precooked bacon hahaha. The food on the menus looked great though. Employees were great, but it seems like whoever owns the place has no care in the world for their employees. Sad the employees have to deal with working in a place that overpromises and underdelivers. And the floors were sticky, which was weird. Love the employees, very nice people. Sadly the syrup they put in the cups melted the cups so it drenched the entire bag in syrup. Maybe don't skimp out on the syrup cups since you're already charging ridiculous prices on the sad-looking, tasting food. Melted plastic is never a good combo with food. Hopefully whoever is in charge or owns the place wakes up and cares about the conditions the employees have to work in. They did an excellent job for what they're having to work with. Wouldn't recommend until they got everything fixed up and took better care of their business and their employees. Save your money unless you enjoy sub-par food and you've got it to throw away. It was a waste of a trip going out to eat, that's for sure. Only leaving this review in hopes that someone cares enough to help the employees out and make it a better environment for them to work in. They deserve better.
Hannah — Google review
I attempted to enjoy a lunch here today, but it was certainly not as it used to be. The food took a considerable amount of time to arrive and, when it finally did, it was quite unappetizing. The bread was so dry that it crumbled, the salad was wilted, and the croutons were stale. We were given small cups at the counter, but there were no lids at the soda station, necessitating a return trip to request one. While not a major issue, we noticed that over the next 30 minutes, no one refilled the lids in the dining room. The ice machine at the soda station was non-functional and apparently had been for some time, leaving no ice to chill our drinks. Additionally, there was a significant amount of mold growing on the soda station where the ice used to be dispensed. The tables were sticky and unclean. We left quite disappointed and will not be returning, as it cost $35 for two people, and the experience was poor enough that we could not finish our meals. Get Outlook for iOS

The food was yummy 😋 Hot soup and sandwich on a blustery cold January day. Our server was outstanding. She was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the menu and fun to talk to. The fireplace was a nice touch too.

I just moved to BG. Without a doubt, this was the tastiest food I've ever eaten at a Panera. The broccoli soup was so creamy and delicious. The tuna sandwich was fresh and delicious. Perfect portion sizes as well. Couldn't be happier.
Jeff S — Google review
Will never come here ever again. Paid $15 for a soggy sandwich and a pathetic excuse for a salad. Didn’t even get a drink. The $7 salad of my pick 2 had no chicken on it (that I paid for), white lettuce, and two pieces of fruit. Could’ve gotten that at a gas station. Very unsatisfied and angry.
Kieran S — Google review
Just had the worst experience here. I ordered AND PAID for extra and that’s not what I received. My sandwich was sloppy, everything thrown together, the bread was WET and SOGGY because the paper was somehow wet and smelled like cleaning product. It looked like I got the scraps and my food was not appetizing. I didn’t want to eat it at all! And the service was not good. This is surprising considering I was the only one in the drive through and store so they weren’t busy. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend this location.

I had a most delightful experience this morning getting a cup of coffee on my way to work. Grace Ann was working behind the counter and treated each person in line as if we were guests in her home. She took an interest in what each of us had planned for the day, and it was so unexpected and pleasant. We've lost personal connections as a culture, and that simple act of kindness made my day.

I believe that I have just discovered my new favorite restaurant. Incredible food--the pimento cheese fondue on the South of Manhattan is delicious (You will want to lick your plate). The KY Cuban is the best Cuban sandwich I have ever eaten. And the pineapple upside down cake with caramel icing was so, so good. Also, the staff was so nice and friendly. Eat here--the food at this place easily deserves 5 stars. UPDATE: I went back for a second visit--the food was just as delicious and the staff was just as friendly as before. Great restaurant!

Cambridge Market and Café is a Bowling Green classic. It’s not flashy or touristy—just a solid local spot where the community gathers for good food and good conversation. This place has that “welcome back” feel when you walk in. The food is consistently great—homestyle, fresh, and satisfying. It’s the kind of place locals love, and for good reason. If you’re in Bowling Green and want to experience what the locals actually enjoy, skip the chains and stop by Cambridge. Good food, great atmosphere, and a true hometown vibe. Highly recommend!

Great local cafe. Delicious food, but kinda expensive. I spent $64 for 3 people, was not expecting to spend that much. But we did get lunch and dessert. No table service, have to pick up your food when it's ready which is fine if you're not disabled. But still, nice place. LOVE LOCAL ❤️
Heidi W — Google review
Original Cambridge market still gives a decent meal! They are doing remodeling but you can still sit down for a meal if you like. Menu varies depending on the day or the supplies and they serve hot sandwiches and a few cold. My favorite is and always will be the cold chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It's creamy, has bursts of sweet with the grapes, and is complete with walnuts. So worth it just for that even if the restaurant presentation is basic by all accounts.
The S — Google review
Our first visit to Cambridge Market & Cafe, and was very pleased! Clean, spacious dining area, was a comfortable atmosphere with lots of windows to sit by and enjoy the fall sunshine. Menu has a large selection of sandwiches and entrées, and we ended up with the Cajun Chicken Pasta and the Roast Beef Manhattan. Both dishes came out hot and fresh in about 5-10 minutes from ordering, and were delicious. The Cajun pasta was just spicy enough, with green peppers, red chilis, and grilled chicken in an Alfredo sauce spiced up and full of flavor. The Manhattan has smoked roast beef open faced on a sourdough bun with the mashed potato and covered in gravy. Delicious to the last bite!

The place the locals go for lunch, get takeout, make meal plans for a group. All my top requirements for clean eating were met. You can create your own order. We’ll definitely be back!

Tonight, very close to closing time of 7pm, I ordered a Cobb Salad. I was greeted pleasantly by the cashier who asked if this would be for here or to go. I have visited the Market before and I have to say that the service tonight was exceptional. I also had the opportunity to meet Jarell Lewis the Kitchen Manager/Chef. Jarell shared with me about the Cambridge Market opening off Campbell Lane. I’m looking forward to them opening, because it is located closer to me and I enjoy the food. A very well deserved 5 stars!

Starbucks is a well-known coffeehouse chain based in Seattle, offering their famous roasts, light snacks, and providing WiFi access. Customers can conveniently order ahead, though there may be occasional substitutions. Such instances of generosity from the staff can brighten one's day as it's the small things that matter. This particular Starbucks location is recommended for tired travelers seeking a pick-me-up.
Came here on a Monday Night, and instantly got greeted by 3 smiles behind the counter. This was one of my first times at starbucks, and the baristas were very attentive and recommended me drinks based off of my flavor preferences. Shoutout Courtney, Jenna, and Esma! Busy, busy on Labor Day, yet the women taking orders were friendly. The store was jammed & I was lucky to have a friendly cashier. Every woman was working hard and the atmosphere was calm. Frankly, I don't know how these women do such a great job. They deserve more $$ The owner should celebrate these women in a special way & a substantial raise is special.

Very busy Starbucks got our orders out quickly. We were able to enjoy our breakfast & coffee on the nice porch outside.
Carol R — Google review
Bianca is absolutely the best. I have been going to this Starbucks daily sometimes twice daily for years and I could immediately tell when she started and can tell when she is off! She makes my day & my drink amazing!
Leslie Q — Google review
I walked in this morning to pick up my mago dragon fruit refresher and when I tried it at first it tasted like it was made with lemonade. So I politely asked, “I think this is lemonade, I’m so sorry can you re make it.” After I said this the man who I told was visibly annoyed he told me “Take another sip, I made it myself, I know I made it with water, but whatever I’ll remake it” at this point I’m just uncomfortable and I was like well I don’t even want them re made but he was already dumping it out. I find it extremely un professional how the situation was handled and the other workers were very kind and made sure that it got fixed so thank you. But to the man who made my drink you don’t talk to paying customers that way ever. I’m very upset with my experience.

Dunkin' is a longstanding chain known for its signature breakfast items and wide selection of coffee beverages. Customers consistently praise the efficient service, friendly staff, and prefer it over other coffee shops. The coffee itself is exceptional in terms of both quantity and quality, making it a preferred choice. Additionally, the rewards program is highly regarded by patrons. The bacon, egg, and cheese croissants are particularly delectable and always made with fresh ingredients.
If I could give this store a million stars I would, the workers do their job 100% when I come. I don’t like seeing bad reviews on here from grown adults who could never work the job. It’s easy to hate on something you don’t understand. And that’s fine. Yes the store does have younger people but working in fast food service is a headache of a job and I applaud everyone who works here. Especially those who have kept the job for so long. So the next time you plan to argue with minimal wage workers for your 4 dollar coffee, please touch grass!
Mia S — Google review
I love Dunkin and come here very often but this location needs some work! They can’t keep people, management and leadership is nonexistent, staff is rude. They tell us we have to wait cause they are understaffed and busy and then rush us like we are an inconvenience. Bunch of kids working here and acting however they want. I was being patient and looking at the menu and they are arguing about who’s gonna wait on me and doing breathing exercises because they are so upset. All this and I didn’t even order anything. Ended up leaving before I could even order. And the way the workers talk to each other is extremely unprofessional. Yelling and slamming things around. It’s coffee, not brain surgery. I don’t understand this behavior at a Dunkin. Insanity.
Dawn B — Google review
The man who works the drive through here is sweeter than the coffee! Wish I knew his name but he took my order at 12:30 on 7/10/25 :]
Olivia M — Google review
I had the most terrible experience at this Dunkin' location, which I'd rather label as a disaster zone. After waiting an agonizing 40 minutes for my order, I received a bagel when I ordered a croissant drowned in strawberry cream cheese and was undercooked which completely ruined the taste. It was a very undercooked bagel that looked and tasted like a lump of dough. Moreover, despite being a vegetarian, they thought it would be a brilliant idea to sneak bacon onto my hash browns, completely disregarding my dietary preferences. The egg and cheese wrap was an abomination, resembling something that had been dragged through a bonfire - burnt to a crisp and barely recognizable. In my 30 years of patronizing Dunkin', this establishment has single-handedly claimed the title of the worst Dunkin' I've ever set foot in. Their incompetence in both food preparation and customer service is beyond belief. I'd suggest avoiding this place at all costs unless you have a penchant for disappointment and subpar food.

I'm a huge fan of their avocado toast, it was great. I also tried the Chipotle hash browns, those were also pretty good. 👍
Nicole C — Google review
As some of y'all know, it's a VERY rare occasion that I visit a "fast food" establishment. Not because I'm snobby, it's just that I prefer to support local businesses, food trucks, etc. That said ... I was blown away by my Dunkin experience this morning. From the lovely welcome by the 2 delightful young ladies behind the counter, to yummy the breakfast sandwiches we ordered, and the lattes that put Starbucks to shame (plus cost 1/2 as much) - it was a truly great experience. Bonus points for the adorable Dunkin' lip gloss key chains, meticulously clean bathroom, and ample parking. Only wish I'd gotten those teammates' names so I could properly shout them out and suggest they get a raise. To be clear, this was the Dunkin across from the Campbell Lane Kroger. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💯💯💯💯💯🤗❤🤗❤🤗 ps: second visit was even better! Props to the young man in training and the staff in general. Y'all have def have a repeat customer in me! ❤🤗🌹

Incredibly slow service and not a lot of friendliness. People there are rude and not helpful at all. They do not know how to make bagels. When I went back to ask them to fix it kindly, they handed me one tiny thing of creamcheese and a knife. I used to give this place 3 stars now it is less than one!

This coffeehouse chain, based in Seattle, is renowned for its distinct roasts, light snacks, and provision of WiFi. They consistently exhibit politeness and efficiency in preparing orders, whether for pickup or at the counter. However, occasionally there can be some confusion with duplicate drinks or missed orders during peak morning hours between 5:30 and 7:30 am. Despite these occasional hiccups, the staff generally earns praise for their dedication and pleasant demeanor.
I enjoyed going here. I go here at least four times a week to study. The baristas were really nice. This place is like a hang out place for our friends group.

The workers were amazing. So patient and understanding. I don’t usually do reviews but I feel like they deserved it. The environment itself is welcoming and clean. This is my to go place to study and get a drink. ♥️♥️

I spent 12 minutes waiting in the lobby for a Cortado. I watch 14 cars be served in the drive through during that same time. The practical outcome that lobby customers are so very unimportant is abhorrent.
Christopher F — Google review
The workers are phenomenal! With that being said, the place is extremely hot. I'm a daily customer and this has been a problem for over 2 weeks. The poor baristas are killing themselves working in that heat. There is never enough employees to take care of all the customers. Even with horrendous working conditions Maddy and Summer always have a smile and treat me like I am their only customer. Starbucks should have enough money to fix the ac, as much as they charge for drinks.
Lynn S — Google review
The guy was sweet but I gave one star because they took long to acknowledge me and take my order and when I got a caramel latte it was sooooo nasty with an after taste. I’m assuming fresh expresso wasn’t use. It’s like they had expresso sitting in a cup and I only say that because expresso becomes bitter after awhile. Waste of money

Never left a bad review in my life but repeatedly get a splash of milk in my coffee. More like splash of coffee in milk. Can’t order on the mobile app because it happens almost every time.

This Starbucks location is by far my favorite in Bowling Green! It's spacious, well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. I have never waited more than five minutes to receive my order; not that a longer wait would bother me with all the beautiful architecture and art to look at! this Starbucks is a great place to hang out with friends, study, or just pop in for a drink. I do wish there were more accessible parking. I love this Starbucks and definitely recommend if you go to a Hot Rods game to pop over for a drink after.

Oh my goodness was this amazing. The barista was so kind and polite. Very friendly and she put a lot of care into my drink, even offering to remake it if I didn't like it. The drink she delivered was potent in a very good way. Her strawberry acai refresher was phenomenal. I hope y'all meet her too.

The best Starbucks in town easily. They remember you and actuality talk to you like a smaller indie coffee shop would. They staff is friendly and always helpful. They are accurate and fast everytime and really cute just to add a little of the whip I leave off my coffee.

BIGGBY COFFEE is a cheerful local coffeehouse chain that offers specialty beverages, smoothies, and baked goods. It is highly regarded as a favorite in town due to its delightful sugar-free mocha syrup, which adds wonderful flavor to their iced coffees. The service is both prompt and friendly. However, individuals with disabilities may encounter difficulties accessing the establishment independently. Nevertheless, patrons believe that the delectable drinks are well worth the effort.
Omg wow first time here at this location. Very warm welcoming environment. Greeted with a welcoming smile and quick service. I got the holiday peppermint stick moca with an extra shot. It was so delicious. Really wish I had got a large. Not bad price. Great flavor. Definitely going again.

Had a "Coffee Meeting" here and was absolutely blessed. A Pastor (churchtoledo.com) needs a good place to grab a beverage in any town he finds himself in in the area and this place will be my go-to in BG. Happened to meet the owner while I was there and he seems like a VERY friendly and professional guy. My drink was perfect and we were made to feel welcome the whole time. Clean, good product, and friendly? I'm sold. There's a back door off the back parking lot that provides extra ease of access. Google put me at the shopping center but not at Biggby's so I had to go out of my way to leave this review and I would gladly do so. God bless!
Daniel S — Google review
I have been coming here almost every day for 6 years now.. the crew is always nice! Great drinks!
Justin B — Google review
I cannot sing enough praises for this particular franchise chain of Biggby! This location and the one in the French Quarter are definitely the most idyllic examples of customer service people should strive for in the industry. They not only know my usual order, but can usually remember my backup, too, or suggest new drinks based on what I commonly order. The drinks and hot foods are consistently tasty and great portion size for price, comparatively. The original drink recipe menu has flavors for any mood, and some workers will even help you brainstorm new ones to try out. The front of house is always clean and inviting when I visit, and the workers create a fun environment with their friendly attitudes and customer engagement, especially when I play along with the Daily Trivia questions! I will go out of my way to visit one of these two locations, but even the brand itself with other franchises is consistently a great value! Definitely worth a stop if you haven't already.
Heidi B — Google review
Used to be a very good coffee place because of the unique coffees you could get poured hot. Michigan Cherry, Pumpkin during the season or Vermont Maple Bourbon. For whatever reason, they are just another run of the mill coffee place. The kids they hire are top notch though. Its kind of the Chick Fil A of coffee with no Barista drama queens.
Vincent R — Google review
I don’t understand why my latte tastes like milk every morning when I come here. When I get my drink at other Biggby locations I can actually taste the coffee and flavors put into my latte. I’m not sure what this location is doing wrong, but they need to fix it. Here’s a pic of my iced milk with a shot of espresso lmao.
Peyton J — Google review
Ordered a 20 oz. iced latte on 5/16/25. One of their filter must have broke because there were coffee grounds throughout my drink. Couldn’t even drink it.

The Awaken Bakery is an extraordinary establishment that specializes in gluten-free cuisine. Their offerings are truly remarkable and cater to individuals with dietary restrictions. This bakery provides a safe haven for those with celiac disease or anyone seeking gluten-free options. The quality of their baked goods is exceptional, with delectable cinnamon rolls and heavenly biscuits that leave customers feeling ecstatic. The entire family can enjoy a delicious breakfast without even realizing it's gluten-free.
The absolute best place for gluten free food. Every single thing in this shop is gluten free and some is both gluten and dairy free. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The pretzel bites were so good that my husband didn't even know they were gluten free. The snickers cake was outstanding.
Barb M — Google review
As someone who has a gluten allergy there is very little locations in Bowling Green that not only have several options but you feel safe in terms of no cross contamination, this bakery is that saving grace. The food is absolutely delicious, good size portions, friendly staff, and even better service. Will be going back every chance I get and fully intend on recommending it to everyone I can. Highly recommend the pizza toastie! The bread texture was amazing and it was so yummy
Nico R — Google review
Sweet family that runs a specialty shop that’s one of BG’s best kept secrets. Cinnamon rolls are phenomenal and are my go-to. My wife loves everything they have as she’s gluten-free and we go there regularly. Little above average on cost but good stuff just costs more. Don’t miss this place.
Greg R — Google review
I love this place as I am gluten-free due to an allergy, and they have a fantastic selection of food that is ALWAYS GLUTEN-FREE!! I love getting the sausage biscuit (it’s to die for, legit 10/10 always)! I also love their toasties, especially the three-cheese one! Overall, I’ve never gotten sick here, and it’s excellent food beyond being gluten-free (it’s just good food that happens to be gluten-free). I even met the owner once, and he was so kind. I’m not from Bowling Green, but whenever I visit, you will catch me here almost every day of my stay. I just can’t find anything like this from where I’m from. Overall, I highly recommend it!

I finally made it over to this lovely bakery. Such a beautiful space. The food was delicious and I loved the pecan pie iced late. I’ll definitely be putting this spot in my rotation around town.

We decided to take a break from driving in Bowling Green, Kentuky and found this cute little bakery. The staff is wonderful and the food was excellent. My husband said his brownie didn't even taste Gluten-free. My chocolate chip cupcake was totally delicious. The frosting was light and fluffy and the cupcake went down so smoothly.
Belinda H — Google review
Best place round. Great service, quaint atmosphere, and fantastic food. Everything I have had has been excellent and most importantly safe for my gluten allergy. Always such a treat to have something from Awaken Bakery!
Heather C — Google review
When it comes to food, I come from a very spoiled home with many amazing cooks. I have had some of the worlds best treats! Just in the last few years I have had to be gluten-free. This place is amazing! One of the best sandwiches ever. Seriously one of the best cinnamon rolls (my grandma would be proud) even when not considering that they are gluten free (and I got the frozen one not the fresh because they only make those on weekends). Super impressed with the very friendly people and beautifully clean place where everything is very well presented and it shows how much EVERYONE loves their food by how little they have left at the end of the day. They even prepared with extras in the freezer for the late comers like me so that I could still have what I came for!!! Totally recommend for a special trip to come as far as you have to (it’s an hour for me) and enjoy lunch and deserts and bring a cooler bag and take a bunch home to stock up for later!!!😀. Kentucky needs more of this! You will NOT be disappointed!
