The National Corvette Museum, situated in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is a captivating indoor museum that showcases the rich history of the Chevrolet Corvette. With over 70 different car models on display along with an array of memorabilia and more, it offers visitors an immersive experience into the evolution of this iconic American sports car. The museum underwent a significant expansion in 2009, adding 47,000 square feet to its space.
Took a guided tour and it was great! Learned lots of little secrets about some of the cars. Loved looking at all the cars especially the old ones. Nice tour, I recommend take it. It was only 1 hour and you have plenty of time to explore the museum. You get to see one of the cars that fell in the sink hole.
Roxie T — Google review
I loved it! But I'm also a pretty big fan of corvette and cars in general. I think that if I had brought a family member they would have enjoyed it but also been a little surprised it wasn't longer. I didn't care haha. It was plenty of fun facts and cool cars to make the trip worth it. FUN FACT They have a library there you can use if you want to look more into the history of your car!!!
Corey J — Google review
My bf is a car guy and loved it, I know nothing about cars and also loved it! We drove his corvette so he could drive on the race track. - I LOVED the sinkhole information. You can even look down into the sinkhole, and see a car all crumpled from the sinkhole. We visited mammoth cave national park on this trip, so learning about the cave region really brought it full circle. - well put together museum, it appeals to everyone. I loved the history and seeing the body changes of each generation. Fun to see the paint choices and how they choose interior/ exterior color schemes. I also enjoyed learning about the clay models and wind tunnel testing for aerodynamics. - we played on the racing simulators, fun and challenging! It’s like a vamped up arcade game with full size cars. - I was disappointed that the assembly plant was closed for tours. Still awesome museum visit though! - I collect patches and found patches in the gift shop.
Lauren C — Google review
We had a private group tour which far exceeded my expectations. Then we had dinner which rivaled a 5 star restaurant. Everything was so good. The simulators were exceptional, feeling like you were on a real track. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Came thur her a couple of months ago on my way to Nigeria falls and didn't stop so here we are agan. Great visit a little pricey but very cool. lots of cool cars and history of the corvettes. Put together in a timeline in history. Cool cRs for actors and famous people. Cool concept vets you probably wouldn't see anywhere else . Spent about 1 1/2 hours inthw place and seen it all. Cool gift shop and a restaurant. Cool stop very interesting. Keep up the great job. Maby knock the price down a bit but cool. Thanks a whole lot and hope to see yall agan.!!!@@@!!
Double C — Google review
If you are a car person in the least you need to see this museum. The Corvette is a clasic no matter what era body style you love the most. I am a split window late 60's person and the examples are breathtaking. Plan on spending two to three hours at a minimum here. There is also a lot of history about the car(s), their designers, and racing that you need to absorbe while you are there.
Mark S — Google review
Great experience picking up a new 2026 ZR1 Corvette at the Museum this week. Mack who oversees the PDI process probably spent an hour with us going over in detail the process his team goes through to get such special cars ready for delivery. Chris also took a lot of time with us the day prior to our appointment. Great folks everywhere at the Museum. Finally, Shane kept in constant contact with us for several weeks prior to delivery to ensure everything went off without a hitch.

So cool. Displays changed often. Great history and present days of Corvette. Cat museum a most see. So easy to get to exit 28 on i65 in Kentucky

American restaurant

Steak house
Montana Grille is a rustic American restaurant located in Bowling Green, KY, offering a cozy log-cabin ambiance and serving up rotisserie chicken, cocktails, and more. The warm and inviting dining room features beautiful logging and woodwork, along with stone wood-burning fireplaces that create a charming atmosphere. Known for its premier steakhouse offerings, the menu includes highlights like the Bourbon Tenderloin Filet that promises a delightful dining experience.
This was outstanding the first time. From the start, the hosts were very friendly. Our waitress was also friendly and attentive. Everything we ate was superb! Good size portions. We sampled each other's plates. I'll just say, we joined the empty plate club here!! What I could not finish the men helped out. It's definitely a most for our yearly event in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

We were traveling cross country and my wife was worried that we were under dressed, but ended up not being an issue. The place had a nice, upscale air to it, but one inside and seated... it had a local-gathering-place, warm, relaxed atmosphere. We chose this place with the sole intention of trying bison burgers. The sake cucumber slices at the onset were actually EXTREMELY TASTY! I had the bison chili first, as a starter. It was DELICIOUS!! My wife tried the cheeseburger with garlic and i had the mushroom Swiss (first time seeing/ trying it with sour cream). Everything was of the charts delicious, and moderately priced. A MUST TRY!
James G — Google review
Hit or miss. This place has all the right elements. Rustic atmosphere, comfortable setting, attentive service. The menu offers a good amount of premium steakhouse items. My experience here was lackluster due to the food. Really it was a letdown. Ordered a burger and steak, both medium and both came out charred black and well done. Sent back and remade, burger was medium but charred, and steak was rare. Sent steak back again and it was charred and medium. The cook nor manager that night know how to run this place. You can’t charge 30 for entrees and have it taste like coal. I doubt I’ll be back and I won’t be recommending this place unless I hear the consistency and quality have improved. Hate to give poor reviews but that’s how it is.
Brett M — Google review
Yuengling on tap. Nice bar selection. Food was great but expensive for the portions. Left wanting more. Beautiful establishment! amazing wood smoker smell throughout with large elegant cabin feel. The grill is at the head of the bar. Very nice work flow from grill to wait staff and fun to watch from the bar.
Dereck R — Google review
I really wanted to give a better rating. My bartender was awesome right up to the point where the food came out and it was, let's just put a mildly " tough to swallow ". I had the small prime rib with grilled asparagus and the Caesar salad. The Martinis and Caesar was great! After that everything went downhill. I literally sat at the bar for about an hour. ( Two martinis ) I presume my prime rib sat under a heat lamp for The same time, before somebody decided to give it to me when I requested status on my meal. The bartender checked and stated they were having issues in the back. Anyway, long story longer, cold tough meat and untrimmed soggy asparagus. Both of which were literally thrown on a plate. ( Posting pictures )

Our server Shaun was attentive and super friendly, even when it seemed like he was handling a dozen tables! Chicken pot pie is phenomenal. Compliments to the coordinator for the baked potatoes. Also the best kids chicken tenders I've ever had.
Cassidy F — Google review
Always had a great experience eating here. Had the Little Horn prime rib this time and it was super tender and filling. The Cowboy sirloin is also a good choice if you want some steak but not a STEAK if you catch my drift. PFA since we were here for LS Fest and loved the view.
WarShrike — Google review
We stopped at this exit for an overnight stay on our way home to Atlanta. Had a wonderful dinner here at Montana Grill. From the service to the food it was a really awesome experience. Prime rib was the best we have had in a long time. Sweet potato mash was exquisite. We had a slew of restaurants to choose from for dinner and I can’t tell you enough how delicious our whole meal was. The service was incredible. Great job Jake!!

Rail museum
The Historic RailPark & Train Museum is located in a restored 1925 L&N Passenger Depot, constructed from Warren County limestone. The museum offers interactive exhibits that showcase the history of the railroad, including the African American experience during segregation and its role in the Civil War. Visitors can also enjoy guided tours of vintage railcars and explore a model railroad. Additionally, the museum provides educational programs for various group types, making it an ideal destination for school trips, scout outings, and family visits.
Great little museum. The indoor exhibits were very nicely displayed. The layout told a good story about the L&N and rail history in this area. The outdoor exhibits were in nice shape and very well displayed. Railfans will definitely enjoy this place.

A wonderful place to learn about the history of the L & N (Louisville & Nashville) railway, ste train station and go on board the train cars... engine, mail car, dining car, 1st, 2nd 3rd class and Presidental accomodations.

At the spur of the moment, we stopped for a visit to stretch our legs. We are so glad we stopped. This place is a well-preserved historic site. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Great hands-on and educational museum.

Pleasantly surprised to see a great Railroad museum. They take you on the cars and explain such rich history. Great for adults and children.

Our son is HUGE into trains. He loved the tour and museum. While I can say I was not looking forward to it, I really enjoyed the tour and the history. You can buy tickets online but we were the only people on the tour.
Hunter B — Google review
The museum piece and the train are amazing. I could tell from chatter with his coworkers, after our tour, that our guide is really interested in the Museum and the quality of the experience. He came across as nervous and unsure of the history stories that he was sharing. I was to glad to see a younger person that is interested in railroad history and I'm sure his presentation will grow with experience.

Nice historic building. The museum had lots of interesting information but the tour guide brought the history alive.

Toro is a Latin-inspired tapas bar and restaurant located in Bowling Green, offering an eclectic mix of Spanish and Latin dishes. The menu features sharable options like ceviche, pork belly chimchurri, fish and potato croquettes, tostadas, Peruvian chicken, and chimichurri. Visitors have praised the friendly staff and great vibe of the place. Some recommend trying out their brunch menu which includes items like the Benny Way and Toro burger.
All I can say is wow! We had a fabulous lunch here with friends. Loved the small plates as it gave us a chance to try many different things. The service was outstanding, the lighting was nice and it wasn’t too loud to enjoy conversations with our friends. We also had a chance to sample a once in a lifetime bourbon. What a gem, Lindsay was particularly attentive and much appreciated, thank you!
Amanda M — Google review
I was looking for something different and boy was this it! The atmosphere great. It gave the feel of being in a major city w/o traveling to a major city. I enjoyed it so much that I ate my leftovers the next morning THEN went back for more that afternoon😋😊 You should definitely give it a try. I enjoyed everything from the appetizer to dessert! This is now my #1 spot in BG to eat…yes, the overall experience was just that good!
Carla S — Google review
Love, love, love this place! The tapas were so delicious and service excellent. Everything came out quickly too! And it didn't hurt that the social hour pricing helped our family of 5 save money as well (from 3-6pm) 😁 Our server recommended which dishes she liked and we ordered her recommendations (cantina nachos and street corn fritters). Also tried their Korean ribs (chef special). So yum! The kids had the cheeseburgers (loved the mix of different kinds of fries). If you are in the area, definitely give Toro a try.
Valentine V — Google review
This was our first time at Toro and it was a pleasant surprise. We’re from out of town and wanted to try something different. This place was great! Excellent presentation, delicious food, and a unique menu. The cocktails and dessert was also fantastic. We will e back the next time we’re in town.
Christopher D — Google review
We've dined at Toro for lunch and dinner now and both experiences have been great! The dishes are full of flavor, as are the drinks. The wait staff have been friendly and knowledgeable each time. Recommend trying the Sampler as a starter to share (2-3 people). Pollo a la Brasa was wonderfully grilled and marinated. The Snapped special was divine! Our only experience with the Enchiladas was less than awesome, but decent. Will be willing to try again though.
Shanna R — Google review
I chose Toro because I wanted a “stepped up” quality dining experience for my wife’s Birthday. We were not disappointed 😊 We began with the Olive and Cheese Tapa (pictured) and it was delicious. I enjoyed a tasty Cubano cafe Coincidentally we each ordered their Steak and Frites. Previously Char, in Nashville, was our favorite for Steak and Frites; no more. Toro is now our favorite. Made with mushrooms and an amazing pan sauce, the generous slices of skirt steak are tender and amazingly flavorful. The dish is served with a special side of what they call “Tori’s salsa verde”, but don’t think tomatillo Mexican salsa, think palette-pleasing , herbaceous dipping sauce for steak. Gregory provided superb, personalized service and anticipated our dining and drink needs. Thank you Gregory! I am happy to add Toro on my list of regularly visited restaurants
Tim R — Google review
The mixed grill has some of the best food I’ve ever put in my mouth, Peruvian chicken, lamb chops, steak with the Chimichurri sauce 10/10. Those accessories could be swapped out for something less weird - queso and rice and beans - for anything else! But it’s my go to order! The salmon is INSANE. So good!! The creamed spinach with corn, 10/10 and I don’t even like creamed spinach. Amazing!
Jennifer M — Google review
This place was unlike anything I have had in quite awhile. Spanish fusion at its best! The place is very cool. The hostess and our waitress were so welcoming. You immediately felt as if you have known them for quite some time. We were sat quickly and had our drinks and order taken in just a few minutes. Now as for the food! Wow! Just Wow! We started with the Toro sampler!!! Again...just wow! We should have ordered 2. Everything was incredible. All of the spices and seasonings made me so happy. Lol! Then I had the Toro burger. I am not a burger person but Manchengo cheese!!!! I had to and not only was the bun the best but the burger was so good! Amd Melissa had Chicken Empanadas! The chicken could.not have been any softer and juicy. We made room for a Tres Leche and Cafe Cubano! This tres Leche was unlike any i have ever had. I have had too many in my life but they always were very heavy and too sweet. This wasn't a traditional tree Leche it was better!! Light and very flavorful. My mouth is still watering! We will be back in the next few weeks. I now want Paella and Pulpo!!!! If you have not been you must!!!!! Our waitress made the evening so nice. She was so sweet and pleasant and really knew all of the food. She wasn't just serving the food but a real fan. I wish I remembered her name but she did have a 1984 tattoo on her leg. The restaurant is lucky to have her.

East Main Bowling Green is a historic venue that offers a romantic and elegant atmosphere for various events such as bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, and rehearsal dinners. The space features preserved historical elements like pressed tin ceilings and a grand staircase from its 1871 origin. With subdued lighting, earthy tones, marble accents, and local artwork, the venue exudes charm and sophistication. Guests have praised the beautiful decor and unique ambiance of the space.
We rented the Gather space for a bridal shower and things couldn’t have gone better! It was the perfect size for a small gathering of around 20 people. The venue was decorated so beautifully we didn’t need much for party decor! Everything was clean and we kept getting comments about how unique and gorgeous the venue was! Thank you Jenifer for a perfect event space!!

Very cute little event space. I had no idea this existed before attending a baby shower here, but I'd recommend it to anyone hosting a small gathering!
Carmen G — Google review
I got married there on December 17, 2021. The most gorgeous space I've ever seen! It looked like it was in a magazine or featured on HGTV!! I was able to get ready on the Stay side and the ceremony was on the Gather side. I highly recommend it!! My guests are still talking about it nearly a year later! I hope to come back for my anniversary!!
Coni W — Google review
Jenifer is always so kind to work with us when we need to rent her space, which we do frequently! We have rented both sides of East Main, and it doesn't matter whether we need it for commercial filming, a staff lunch event, or extra meeting space for clients, we have never been disappointed!
Whitney K — Google review
Beautiful venue for a baby shower. Jennifer was quick to respond to all of my questions and she even offered to help. The response from the guests when they saw the venue was positive and a few wanted Jennifer’s contact info to schedule their own event. Beautiful decor, great location and hosts👏

Double Dogs is a popular eatery and sports bar that offers a casual American dining experience along with a variety of craft brews. The restaurant is named after the owner's two labradors, Bo and Chancey, who are also the mascots of the establishment. The menu features signature nachos, wings, chicken fingers, pizza, salads, burgers, and hot dogs.
Love the place, very charming. Food is better than expected. I read some reviews that said service was bad…. I get it. The food was super fast, the people bring out the food were fast and friendly. It’s very clear that the kitchen is managed very well……. However……… The bar tenders suck. They walk around aimlessly not paying attention to anyone. You’re waiting to ask for a drink and they’re just aimlessly wondering around. The contrast is kind of funny. Everyone else is a well oiled machine but the bar tenders sucks. Food was good. Potato soup was best I’ve ever had in my life.
Anthony T — Google review
Tried Double Dogs, never been to one before (only 9 locations in the TN/KY area). Stopped in for lunch. Walked in and it was definitely a sports bar environment. Seated right away, very friendly waitresses Yes waitresses only, no gents serving any food here-they are in the kitchen cooking. Ordered a tall beer (very cold with frost on the glass). Ordered bow wow wings, honey Chipotle boneless (largest order of boneless we've ever had and worth every penny, homemade onion rings (best thing of the day and it was all great) and some Cajun fries (tasty but not spicy, super good). We did not try the Bo's dog bowl nachos but they looked very good. Waitress was attentive, food was delicious, will definitely go back if we are in the area.
Lisa J — Google review
One of my favorite places in town, Double Dogs has great service, the food is always good and I particularly like the tables on the patio, by the fireplace for a quieter experience. The outdoor sitting areas are also dog-friendly, so keep that in mind. I highly recommend the boneless chicken tenders with the made in house blue cheese and the TurboDog beer, so good! They have many screens and always have sports games playing for those who enjoy. Really a must try spot in Bowling Green.
Júlia — Google review
The food was phenomenal, the onion rings were the best I've ever had, our server Alexandria was exceptional, the casual atmosphere made us feel right at home and the Michelob Ultra was super cold. Overall, I was very impressed with Double Dogs and will go back.
Robin G — Google review
Was recommended to go here from someone I know. I was very disappointed. I tried 3 different flavors of the wings. None of them had a good flavor not to mention did not like the wings itself. Tried the sausage queso it was ok but the sausage was way to thick should have been ground up better. My son loved the BBQ bacon burger my wife loved the cheeseburger. The onion rings was cold and did not taste good at all . Even warm they would have tasted badly. The fries where not good to me but I don't like shoestring fries . My 2 sons liked them but my wife and I did not. My son had the hotdogs was not a fan of it either my son did not like it as well. I did try a bite of my wife's cheeseburger I will have to give this a 👍 it was really good but everything else was not. very disappointed especially after spending $105. The place however was very clean and nice decor loved the fireplace outside. The bathroom needed a little upgrade not dirty just old looking. The server was friendly and was doing a great job. Up until she brought the food then we never seen her again until we was done. She knew we had never eaten their before but she did not come back and check on Us to see if we liked the food or needed anything else. Again she was very friendly and helpful just wish she would have checked on us to make sure we was satisfied. I would personally not recommend this place for myself but I could see how someone not as picky as me might like it.

Great place to hangout and enjoy some good American food. Dog friendly as well. Beer selection is a little limited for those that like craft options but overall, a solid experience.

Man those onion rings were so good!!! The tap beer had ice in it and the burger was pretty dang good. Did I say how good the onion rings were!

Just OK. Food was marginal. Though my son did love his pizza. They have a nice patio . The chicken wrap wasn't good. My husband had a club and said it was "OK." Overall, not terrible, simply meh.

We really enjoyed our Friday afternoon lunch. It was our first visit to Novo Dolce. I didn't care for the parking arrangements, but everything else made up for it. Our server was absolutely fantastic 👌 She knew every detail about the menu and was extremely helpful. I couldn't decide what to order, so I ended up with a few things. I took my time, had some drinks and enjoyed the food.

Finally made it to Novo Dolce, but this certainly won’t be my last visit! Atmosphere is very inviting & our server (Derek) was amazing, making sure we were fully taken care of throughout the entire meal. As far as food & drink, everything we had was excellent. Pricing is fair for the portion sizes and you can taste that all ingredients are fresh, well prepared & seasoned just right. Overall, a great experience & one we look forward to having here again ASAP ✌🏻

We stopped by mid afternoon for lunch after a work event and it was fantastic! The food is always on point! The Brussels sprouts were amazing, our table split them as an appetizer! They pico was so fresh. The bloody Mary was great and someone in the group had a Sangria that was perfect! We were seated quickly and the server was great

They have nailed the gastro pub vibe and atmosphere. The lighting was perfect and some music was playing in the background. The music is loud enough to hear, but just low enough to have a conversation at normal speaking level. Our server was very knowledgeable about all the menu items, specials and the wines on the wine list. The food was great too! I had shrimp and grits (see photo), my wife had the vegetable bowl. Both were fantastic and the portions were more than we expected. Someone at the table next to us got the pork chop and it looked delicious! Will definitely be back. We can definitely see Novo Dulce becoming one of our regular dining experiences. 🙂

Service was great! Food was just okay. I ordered the "chicken sliders" which was a chicken finger cut in half and put on a bun. You could actually see where they just sliced the tender right in half. I also ordered "sweet potato fries". I was served diced up sweet potatoes. The best part of the food was the side salad. Unfortunately not impressed with the food. Service was great!

Shrimp and Grits were incredible and the steak and frites were fab! I had a delicious Negroni with dinner — plus our server Derek was so pleasant and attentive.

Review updated in July 2025: I had another wonderful visit at this lovely restaurant. Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and nice service. This time I tried their classic entrée, which was "Steak & Frites". Beef stripes with house fries covered with delicious bourbon & mustard sauce. And all topped with grated parmesan cheese. It tasted very well and I did enjoy it very much. 🥩🔥 After a dinner we decided to try some desserts and we picked 2 for 4 of us: Apple Pie (very interesting mixture of sweet and spicy flavors) as well as Belgian Chocolate Mousse Cake. And the latter has immediately become my favorite one tonight. Absolutely perfect! Delicate and sweet. 😋🍫🥧👌🏻 Just visited today this nice restaurant with a friend of mine. And must say it was a good call to have a dinner at Novo Dolce. The dish I picked was Chicken Elizabeth, and it was really good. Fried chicken was tender and crispy. With vegetables and orange, bread and sauce, it was a nice combination of flavors. And the local beer (Blue Stallion 🐎 wheat beer from Lexington) was absolutely awesome!! Never drank it before, so I did like it and will have it now more often.🍺👌🏻

Overall exceptional quality food for the money. Service was quite good too, but it took a team effort. Follow-up team really helped the order taker who seemed distracted. However that's OK. Life happens. The team worked well together and as a result we enjoyed everything. Great Novo burger!

Came here for bike night. I was quite happy great service clean place. The food we got The Hangover deep dish and spot on. The garlic not don't sleep on them. Good beer selection as well.

4.5 stars.. solely on how long it took to get my food at lunch. Everything else was great. Smoked Balogna is da bomb! Updated review.. went for the fantastic lunch deal only to find that my specific meal was off the menu. No wings at all due to price of chicken. So got the pulled pork and onion rings for 10 bucks.. an excellent meal too. Meg is super helpful and patient. Haven't been here since I started leaving Google Reviews so I popped in to try again. They have a fantastic lunch special deal with personal pan pizzas and salad or wings for about 10 bucks.. I got the works pizza (if you don't like black olives make it known) and the smoked wings with bone in and thai chili sauce. The pizza was okay but the wings were out of this world. Service was great as everyone was very attentive and place looked great. Give this place a try!

What can I say. The hit the mark all the way around. Service was great. Food was hot , fresh and flavorful. Atmosphere was a cool vibe. Music was playing and overall great night out after a long day.

It was a good call to go and hang out here at the Lost River Pizza with a couple of teammates from the company. The beer, which I tried for the very first time (West Sixth 1906), was just great. The waitresses (totally three of them kept taking care of us 😁) were very nice and helpful.👍🏻Unfortunately need to say one thing that you guys in the 🇺🇲 need to learn how to do a traditional Italian pizza. The Classic Margherita we had was ok, but crust was too long baked in the oven and therefore too dried, too burnt. And mozzarella must be like a chewing gum! This wasn't. Overall I did really like the atmosphere inside, with good rock music being played, and this big black Harley motorcycle in the center of the restaurant! 🔥🤘🏻 I enjoyed it.

Boneless wings were a total rip off. We paid $10 for these. We haven’t been here in a couple years because we had a bad experience with the food we ordered last time as well. Thought we’d give it a chance again. Regret ordering the boneless wings. Brisket sandwich was really good though and the pizza was good but not worth the price we paid. But we ordered the double pepperoni and there’s no way in had double! Their blue cheese sauce is amazing! Server we had Saturday night said she was new but she did a wonderful job, was very nice, and took great care of us!
Mia M — Google review
The food was amazing. Love the sauce, cheese bread, and custom pizza. We went in when they were down staff, but wait was a little longer. Recommendation to Meg (which is an Angel of a manager) is to teach the staff to be open with communicating what is going on, how to get the manager when conflict arrises, and be courteous to customers. Telling customers you on have 2 hands 10 minutes after you forgot something isn’t the best way to say “hey I forgot that sorry, I’ll be right back with it”. Great job on management though as she was able to correctively take action on poor staff etiquette.

We drove 40 minutes to try the brunch. We had fluffy, delicious blueberry pancakes and the brisket with egg on texas toast. It was worth the drive and we look forward to returning to try the pizza. I like the decor! We seek out the locally owned sole proprietorship places to support! Great job y'all.

The food was on Par for this type of establishement. Although there was nothing i hated, there was nothing my party absolutely loved either. The chicken in the my Chicken and Bacon Wrap was dry and lacked flavor. I saved it by stealing my wife's blue cheese off her Cobb Salad and drowning it in Ranch. My wife's cobb salad was very light on the salad, but lots of extras (Pic included). Also my personal preference i am not a fan this type of french fry. Plus side the staff was attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the atmosphere.

Spencer's Coffee is a trendy and cozy coffeehouse located near Western Kentucky University. The shop boasts a contemporary vibe with chic furnishings, vibrant plants, and garage door windows that let in plenty of sunshine and fresh air. It's an ideal spot for meetings, coffee dates, or solo study sessions. In addition to serving coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches, Spencer's also offers beers.
What a gem in Bowling Green! We stopped by Spencer’s Coffee on our weekend trip and were absolutely blown away. This place is everything a coffee shop should be—vibrant, welcoming, and full of life. They use Sunergos beans, and let me tell you—the coffee was phenomenal. Smooth, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. Every sip was a delight. The environment was just as impressive. It’s spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for studying, meeting with friends, or just soaking in the atmosphere. It feels fresh and uplifting, not run-down or overly casual like some shops. You can tell they put care into the space. And the baristas were top-notch—so kind, helpful, and full of good vibes. They added to the experience in the best way. Highly recommend this place! If you’re in Bowling Green, Spencer’s is a must-visit. Whether you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a great spot to relax, this is the place to go.

This coffee shop serves delicious coffee! They also went above and beyond by accommodating all my special requests, including the temperature and amount of milk I prefer in my latte. I truly appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail.

One of the best coffee shop I have ever been to, I find this better than ones in Nashville, and definitely better than Starbucks. Their pastries are just so good!!!! I love ordering my coffee and a pastry in morning/brunch when I'm near here. They need to open one in Nashville/Madison TN area. I would go every week! Keep up the great work!!! My fav pastries so far is the strawberry muffin with cream cheese filling and coconut flavor granola bar when they have it (they rotate the flavors out every so often so it's always different, which makes it more fun!).

We are visiting Bowling Green and we must have gone to 4-5 different coffee shops in our short stay, this is the best one. The store is warm and welcoming, love the old brick building and the quaint ambience. I had my go to Breve Latte, it’s smooth and creamy and delicious. Hubby had the vanilla latte and it doesn’t have the usual chemical after taste that you would get with commercial syrup. Best cup of coffee in Bowling Green!

Updated review.. tried the club sandwich and chili soup. Both were excellent choices. Tried a cranberry granola bar as well and it was surprisingly good too! Spencer's is a great space to grab a coffee, sit with your laptop, eat, fellowship or just look out the window. I enjoyed my meal and the vibe of the place. My lunch sandwich was pretty good and the Thai lentil soup was fantastic. Lots of pastries to choose from of which I got a chocolate chip cookie that I found kind of dense but was edible. Overall a very nice experience that I recommend giving a try!

Local coffee shop right downtown. Tried the green goddess sandwich today for the first time and it was super fresh and tasty. The canned sparkling teas from the fridge are also surprisingly good. Never have had an interaction with staff here that was less than friendly :)

The coffee and food are both fantastic! The lavender flavor is super nice. There is plenty of seating inside and the park right outside. The prices are very affordable! They have cute shirt designs and popsicles for sale as well! They have great vegetarian options and meats can be substituted on the other sandwiches.

My husband and I drove through town on our way back to Nashville and were SO thrilled to find Spencer’s! We love finding new craft coffee shops on our road trips and this is a new regular spot for us when driving north!! I had the blackberry rosemary latte and it was stellar! So delicious! I also had the big salad which was amazing- their balsamic dressing is fantastic. Lots of room to sit and talk/read/work & the staff is SO friendly. Highly highly recommend this beautiful place!

The Kentucky Museum, located on the Western Kentucky University campus, offers a comprehensive look at the Bluegrass State. Housed in an impressive building, it showcases extensive collections of artifacts including archeological finds, clothing, quilts, musical instruments, toys and decorative arts. The museum also features exhibits related to notable figures such as Madeleine Albright, Liza Minelli and Daniel Boone. Visitors can explore temporary exhibits that change regularly.
An excellent free museum. Staff was friendly. The was a little of several different types of exhibits. From Native American arrow points to unique quilts to ancient clay tablets, their spread is impressive. The log cabin can be accessed if a staff member is with you. My favorite display was the furniture, which showed both colonial and quaker up to modern. My only complaint would be no gift shop to buy a souvenir magnet, but you can't beat the price to visit! Also parking was easy to find and free as well.
Chris B — Google review
What a wonderful FREE museum filled with interesting exhibitions. My son loved the Duncan Hines display. I enjoyed the exhibition featuring works from a private collection and the way that they had photos of how the collector had the objects displayed in their beautiful home and the quotes from the collector. What a wonderful tribute to their collection and gifts. If you are in bowling green you should definitely make this a stop. It’s free. With easy parking. All of the student docents were very knowledgeable and professional. Visit time could be 1-3 hours depending on how much reading and view time you prefer. Ask to see the courtyard it is beautiful.
Sherri K — Google review
Happened to see this museum was in Bowling Green during my visit, and was free, so had to stop. It wasn't over the top but still a decent museum. I learned all about Duncan Hines that I never knew about. The quilts are pretty impressive as well. Glad we made the stop, it was interesting to see all the artifacts that are there.
Brian D — Google review
The Kentucky Museum is a very traditional museum geared towards the education of history. It contains artifacts from various periods of Kentucky's past, including Native American artifacts that were found in the Barren River area. There are multiple pieces of art and furniture on the third floor dating from the early days of Kentucky statehood all the way to modern. When we visited, they also had a small display of Egyptian artifacts and quilts. I'm not sure if these are permanent or temporary, but I did find them fascinating. The Duncan Hines portion of the museum was also interesting and had a couple of interactive pull tabs with facts underneath. I will note that this is not a museum geared towards children. There are no children's sections here. If children are capable of being respectful, listening, and reading about history, then they will probably enjoy the museum. Children who just want to play will probably not enjoy the museum.
Kachina L — Google review
Free access on Western Kentucky University campus. Second floor was closed to the public. Small museum with a few interesting exhibits. Archealogical exhibits including local artifacts and ancient civilizations like Egypt and Sumeria. Quilt exhibits showcasing wild from the 1820s to present-day. Duncan Hines exhibit. Freshman university student exhibits and contemporary art exhibit. Great place to check out when the heat index is over 100°.

Just a lovely place. Tis free to enter and the collections are super interesting and will tell you nuanced and surprising things about this part of the country and state. Great deal for the money $7.99 for a main entree then two sides and a drink. My son-in-law had the Cajun chicken sandwich and my daughter had the chicken quesadillas. I had the spicy chicken sandwich - which as you see is super thin thus my 4-star for food. The Cajun fries are great - crunchy even though they’re the crinkle cut fries. The cheerwine YUMMY!!! I’d go back / just won’t order a chicken sandwich again.

Updated: fun time at Overtime! Karaoke night was a hoot. Drinks just okay, food just okay. Servers did a great job! 1st review: I guess I never had any overwhelming desire to try Overtime but I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! Place is much larger inside than it looks from outside and has a gaming area with pool tables and video gaming. Has your standard bar and separate eating area. Was a bit confused at who would be my server but eventually the bar tender came from behind the bar to my table that was not super close to the bar and took my order who was very nice. Food menu has a host of cheap food options and daily specials that are even cheaper. Tried the meats personal pizza and a beef taco special for 3 bucks. When food came out the pizza looked great and had two large tacos which surprised me for 3 bucks. Pizza was great and was great the next day as leftovers due to being full from the large tacos. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I will go back for drinks next time.

I had such a great experience at Overtime, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Jaren. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. She knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure our drinks and food arrived promptly. What really stood out was her genuine smile and how she made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. She truly elevated our dining experience.

This is the first time I've tried this place, food and atmosphere was good. Jaren was my server, she was amazing, which added to the overall experience I had there. She was attentive, friendly, checked on me multiple times at just the right time. Asked me a few times how I was doing, if the food was good and made sure I never ran low on my drink. She did her job with grace and a smile 🫶

Jaren was an awesome waitress, super friendly and easy to talk to. She promoted the Thursday night 89 cent wing deal and happy hour, which I was not aware was going on. Mattea the bartender was excellent. Didn't make me wait, and placed my order right away. I ordered pretzel bites and blackened fish taco's. I think the pretzel bites were deep fried, and Emily had normal salt on it. It didn't have sea salt or kosher salt (big salt chunks)? They weren't bad, just okay at best. The fish tacos came out as chicken tacos, which were promptly taken back and remade to be fish tacos. When the fish tacos were delivered by the lady the orange dress I'm assuming to be the manager, owner co-owner whatever... Before placing the plate down asked me if this was enough???? I was confused. I just looked at her and she placed the food down and said is that good enough? Still confused. Mattea, the bartender, again was great and took good care of me. Thank you! Turns out that the order was put in as chicken tacos instead of fish tacos by mistake. They also put the original cold french fries off the first plate onto the second plate that was served to me. Ugh Whoever that person was should not have taken it out on the customer. I won't be running back anytime soon, but I will give it another chance. Everyone has bad days. The facility itself looks great. Tons of outside seating. Lots of tables, large screen TVs and pool tables. I think it's worth 1 more try.

Hilligans Sports Bar, a lively establishment in Bowling Green, offers daily specials and has an outdoor deck for patrons to enjoy. It hosts DJ and trivia nights, making it a popular spot for college students. Known as one of the best bars in town, Hilligans has stood the test of time and continues to attract locals and visitors alike. The bar's location is convenient, its drinks are reasonably priced, and it even serves pizza.
I haven't been here in over 6 years, to say I was surprised by the menu update is putting it mild. I won't describe before, but now their menu shines. The menu is not overwhelming, but I found it hard to decide regardless. I had the pepperoni chips w/ ranch dipping sauce, unique and delicious. Next a couple taco options I found well prepared and tasty. Last, I had the Hilly Cheesesteak Scoops, a different cut of potato, truly awesome. All of this was washed down with great beers on tap, sorry, no children allowed. It has a great sports bar atmosphere and plenty of room for gatherings of all sizes. It will not be another 6 years before I return!

I came here with a friend for the first time in a while and unfortunately my experience was not what I was expecting. It was considerably worse than the first time I came here, when I actually had a really nice time. The food was decent, so I’ll give them that, but the overall vibe and atmosphere was just really off. It’s like you can tell the employees don’t like working there, I don’t know if it’s a personal motivation thing or if they don’t like working for their manager, I don’t know for sure if they hired someone new but the place just doesn’t run as smoothly as it did before. There was a heavily tattooed woman with glasses who I hadn’t ever seen prior and when I went to inquire she was very inconsiderate and kinda just pushed me off. Not great customer service skills. The place was also messier which at the end of the day it’s a sports bar it’s not THAT big of a deal but it was something to note. I don’t know if something’s going on with the management or the owners or whoever but the place seems to have gotten worse over time which sucks because I really liked my experience when I first came here.

Its reputation extends nationally as a vibrant live music venue.
Yall!!! what an amazing time, sometimes random adventures lead to the most amazing places and friends. I had the best time @ Tidballs listening to " The Josephine's" and " Lucas Wayne". The venue was fantastic and on a night that I just needed to feel something "real" these bands did not disappoint. The drinks and service were awesome and the atmosphere intriguing and spectacular. Stop in you'll be glad you did. Enjoy the snippets and Adventure on..

Good music. I'm not a regular due to multiple ADA violations, including not even being able to order my drink at the counter myself, nor able to access and use the bathroom properly.

I drove from Nashville to watch my step son and his band perform. There is a stage inside and outside. Nice feel to it. I will be going back.

Awesome Band's and Great Food!! Lot's of fun for the Whole family 👍

Small! But that's the way to see some of your favorite artists! Up close. Ward Davis is great. I'll definitely come back to Tidball's for concerts!

Love this venue! Awesome atmosphere and live music from local bands. Enjoyed the years of drinks, pool, foosball and Pac-Man!
Daniel G — Google review
Great place for live music. I caught the Girl Tones show there a few months back and it was amazing. Great atmosphere as well.
Steve B — Google review
First time going there. Seen Justin Wells and Ward Davis as well for the first time. Venue was small but great for me cause if I'm having to stand(ride the rail) for the whole show. I like to b able to at least be able to move without having to apologize every few seconds for bumping into someone. Plus being small venue felt like u was at a private event for u and some of close personal friends. I will be watching the venues event calendar cause I will be going back. In closing. Artists Justin Wells and Ward Davis A+ and gained new fan of their music. Tidballs A+ as well for its location its Atmosphere pricing on drink of choice.

Barbecue restaurant
Nestled on the outskirts of Alvaton, Split Tree Barbecue is a hidden gem for barbecue lovers seeking a delightful dining experience near Bowling Green. This charming spot is located south on Scottsville Road, away from the hustle and bustle of retail areas, offering a serene country atmosphere. Visitors rave about the warm hospitality that makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in.
Great food and excellent value. It's a little out of my way, but I try to swing by every month or so. I have yet to be less than satisfied after any visit, and often wishing it wasn't so tasty so I didn't eat too much lol
Seanithon B — Google review
I’ve seen this place for several years and finally got the chance to try it. Atmosphere is exactly what I’ve come to expect of a BBQ restaurant. Comfortable feel, country, and smells of heaven. We stopped in on a Sunday late lunch and tried the pulled pork, brisket, and a BBQ baked potato. The potato was more of mashed potatoes fixed up with beans, pork, and cheese on top. The small was a large plate, more than she could eat. Good flavor overall, a bit too much nacho cheese. The brisket sandwich was a little dry but had good flavor. Sauces were pretty good, four to choose from, a sweet (baby rays), mild, hot, and mustard base. The pulled pork my son ordered was very dry. Overall just below average on the food but it may have been an off day. I’ll definitely try again.
Brett M — Google review
Stopped in for the first time today on 11/29/23. The cashier was pleasant but unfortunately the barbecue was very average. Ordered the BBQ nachos and it was served with concession stand quality chips and cheese. Also asked for jalapenos and was given just 3. Not nearly worth the price $13.73 after tax.
Brian G — Google review
I’ve read several of these reviews and apparently something has changed. For 2 of us to eat, it was $42. The Cole slaw was so awful that I wanted to throw up. The beans were bland. The meat was dry and tough. The sauces were decent at best (at least 2 of them were). The hot sauce is nothing more than some Franks or Texas Pete put in another bottle. They serve burnt cornbread cakes with the food that were thin enough to read through and when I asked if they have shoulder, they didn’t (first BBQ place I have ever been to that didn’t have shoulder). I’ve passed by this place for years and always wanted to eat here……well…….what an overpriced disappointment. WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!!

I loved everything about my experience here at split tree barbecue. Sunday I came in to meet family, and the people working treated us just like we were their family too. Our orders came out hot and delicious. If you haven’t had their white cheddar mac & cheese, you’re missing out.! I could eat my weight just in the macaroni. I would love to go back there when I’m in the area again. We had a party of 15 show up and we didn’t have to wait too long. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and well put together and their atmosphere felt like home.
Samantha G — Google review
The potato salad is Spot On. The brisket is on a lunch special because someone left it on the smoker to long. Wayyy Toooo Long.
Mitch M — Google review
This has got to be the absolute worst barbecue I have ever had. Great atmosphere and nice people. But we got the ribs and they weren’t edible, and the brisket was a 2/10 at best. Mac n cheese was about the only thing we ate.
Silas S — Google review
YIKES! Food is beyond disappointing. Seeing their trophies for 2023 and before, it leaves you thinking, what happened?!? Big things and details are completely missed. Everything from mash potatoes/mac to sauces are not where they need to be and taste off. Seems like a Volume of poorly assembled stuff. Both kids feel sick after eating spare ribs. Could be coincidence. Atmosphere is the only real good potential point here. the product is simply not there unfortunately.. got to change something quick imo

Cafe
Cafe Kindness is a charming and welcoming spot with a bright and comfortable interior adorned with earthy decor. The cafe exudes a theme of joy and kindness, evident in the little messages scattered throughout the space. It offers a limited but delicious menu featuring high-quality ingredients, including make-your-own salads, decadent breakfast items, and cold-pressed drinks. The service is friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
EXCELLENT! A beautiful bright calming atmosphere that serves delicious food! Tucked away just off the square, the interior is spacious and welcoming. Plenty of room to gather for an impromptu meeting or brunch with friends…or set up your laptop to get some work done. The service was great, with big smiles and accommodating natures. I ordered the half-and-half toast: it was fresh with high quality ingredients that went perfectly with a steaming cup of good coffee. As with the entire establishment, the restrooms were super clean too. I will be back!
Kimberly I — Google review
Cute cafe, with lovely kindness theme. Fruit of the Spirit named smoothies, patience, love, joy, etc. I ordered patience, which I thought was tropical, but they gave me a mint chocolate one with spinach. I may have said the wrong name. I didn’t go back to ask since it was so busy and service was slow. It had a high concentration of mint, which was surprising, and took a bit to get used to. My son gad the live smoothie which was strawberry, and he liked it. They were kind and the cafe had a comfy couch and nice atmosphere. We parked on the street and walked on the sidewalk to it. Other shops along the sidewalk.

We were in Bowling Green for one day and our friend brought us to Cafe Kindness for breakfast. What a darling cafe with smiling faces, outstanding pressed juices, and breakfast! Everything was delightful and we left full, overjoyed, and ready to tackle the day. I will insist we return on our next visit to Bowling Green.
Kobie B — Google review
Food is FANTASTIC! When we first ordered we thought it was a bit pricey, but after seeing and tasting how fresh everything was, it definitely makes sense. Its like you took the flavors and cranked it up to 11, nothing processed or anything like that here. The atmosphere is very calm but positive. Absolutely worth giving it a try.

We went to cafe kindness for a Saturday breakfast and had a wonderful meal. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was super relaxing. Will definitely be going again.

Everything is so fresh and super tasty, and the owner and staff are so sweet and kind. This is a secret gem for Bowling Green, but shouldn’t be! Comfy and cozy spot, which also sells fresh and healthy items to-go juice and other items from a cooler. This will be one of our go-to spots for sure!
Brian P — Google review
I love cafe kindness! The food and smoothies are always so fresh and delicious. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food and ingredients. The atmosphere is perfect for a study sesh and the owner is extremely kind and personable! My favorite is the Everything Avo Toast and Gentleness smoothie.

Great place to hang out while enjoying a bite to eat. Limited menu offerings on the food side that includes a killer make your own salad and decadent breakfast/brunch items but decent selection of cold pressed drinks from Zest, yummy smoothies, and standard drinks including a cup of Joe. Place is always clean and warmly bright and everyone is Kind.

Nestled at the corner of Clay and Main Avenue, Main Street Tire & Auto Care is a hidden gem for anyone in need of reliable automotive services. With no flashy signage or grand façade, this local establishment has been serving the community for nearly four decades under the watchful eye of Bobby, who prides himself on providing fair pricing and exceptional service.
Been going to Bobby, owner, for years. Very reasonable prices and good honest work. However, be aware he only handles certain types of problems.
Heidi W — Google review
I scrubbed into the shop with my brakes shot and drove out confidently with them fixed. It is a FCFS ( first come first served) shop and there's no judgement. I will use them again should the need arise😏😊

Reasonably priced. Quick and efficient service done right
Soda M — Google review
They do good work at a reasonable price. I've never had a problem with the quality of their work. You can take your own parts if you want. They don't have a receptionists and no fancy building but those things keep the cost down.
Todd C — Google review
I am new to the area and had a hard time finding the building because it doesn't have an address or any signage. Corner of Clay and Main Ave. Garage facing Clay. Bobby is a solid dude and been at this location for 39 years, I think he said. I called, shot me a fair price over the phone and had the tires I needed for my trailer. Went there an hour or so later and got me right in. In an Era of big box stores, I feel it's important to support local business. I will be back when we need tires and recommend him to family. Most folks who have lived here a long time probably already know who he is a he has been here so long. People new to the area, check him out before heading to a corporate or multi location company.
Michael N — Google review
Absolutely unbeatable. Most reasonable prices in town, my auto service needs were met, and time spent on repair was minimal. Finally, a place where good prices doesn’t mean bad service. I will be returning for all of my auto motive needs.
CJ B — Google review
Mr Bobby was very accommodating and took me in immediately to fix a nail in my tire. He’s super friendly and his prices are more than reasonable. Highly recommend visiting him if you have tire issues.

The Copper Bar is a popular craft cocktail bar located in Bowling Green, offering a wide range of innovative and well-crafted drinks. The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the evening. In addition to its impressive drink menu, The Copper Bar also hosts live concerts and events, making it an ideal location for special occasions or simply hanging out with friends.
This is the very best craft cocktail bar south of Louisville up to Bowling Green. We were visiting Mammoth Cave National Park today and staying in Park city, and we did a search and found The Copper Bar and it did not disappoint. You get larger, urban city mixology right here in Bowling Green. The mixologist was amazing and friendly and Innovative and made drinks off the menu for us. From the cocktail menu I recommend The Smokey Copper— the bullet rye smoked old fashion.
James C — Google review
Had a good evening hanging out at The Copper Bar. Some seating outside was available and it was a beautiful night so we sat outside with our drinks. Bar is well stocked with some lounge seating inside as well as tall tables. Specialty drink menu was good. Some drinks were a hit and a few were not favored so much by our guests. Overall worth stopping in.

Good bourbon selection. Lots of university kids, but worth checking out. Pappy, Weller, Blantons….

This place, OMG! Amazing. The drinks are spectacular, so yummy. I had the seasonal Peanut Butter White Russian, and then the Espresso Martini. Delicious. Copper Bar has a great vibe and ambiance, and the bartender Destiny and owner Jordan are super friendly. Highly recommend - support this local business!

Ok - I feel like we always give every local business to exceed our expectations. Tonight was our 2nd visit. Our experience was way below our expectations, which makes me sad.

We LOVE Copper Bar! The staff is always so nice and attentive. I’m not big into alcohol anymore and they always make me the best moctails and every alcoholic beverage I’ve had there in the past has always been excellent! All the bar tenders there have always been nothing but friendly and I love the chill atmosphere!

Not only is this my favorite bar in Bowling Green but now holds a dear place in my heart where me and my husband celebrated our baby on the way with a pregger kegger. So also a great location to host an event or special occasion. The atmosphere is always amazing and it will always mean the world to us we were able to celebrate with our friends our soon to be family of 3!

Tattle Tails Gentleman's Club offers a unique experience that blends a slightly rundown charm with an unexpectedly clean atmosphere. While the layout may be unconventional, with the bar on one side and the club on the other, it creates an intriguing vibe. The staff and dancers are known for their friendliness and professionalism, making visitors feel welcome. One standout dancer named Amber has received particular praise for her sweet demeanor and skills.
So listen up. This place is utter garbage. Why am I giving it 5 stars? Because I like sketchy. If it ain't sketchy, it ain't worth it. Hands down one of the most rundown joints I've ever been to. The bathrooms though are clean as hell. The women use the same one you do, treat it with respect. I'd rather take a dump here than the damn hotel we stayed at. If you're out of state/town it's set up weird. Bar on one side/"club" on the other. We left the bar once. To go smoke. The hired help was good conversation at the bar, but I couldn't see myself spending money on much of anything else. If you're into weird and hilariously sketchy go here. If you catch the owner, he'll probably have you try his homemade hot sauces. Stuff wasnt half bad. The bbq food truck he runs was actually pretty solid too. 5/7 would go to again. Please be open for lsfest2k19.
