Thermal baths
Wellness center
Friedrichsbad Baden-Baden is a classic bathhouse housed in an elegant 19th-century building, offering a rejuvenating experience with its thermal pools and massage services. The thermal baths are fed by water that rises nearly 2 kilometers underground, reaching temperatures between 50 and 68 degrees and carrying beneficial minerals such as lithium, magnesium, and zinc.
I took the train from Frankfurt for a weekend in the Black Forest. This was the PERFECT way to relax my sore muscles after hiking. I had never been to a thermal bath spa before. This was absolutely lovely. I will definitely come back again!
Kaleigh M — Google review
As others have noted, the entry fee is too expensive. However, the overall experience is memorable, with many different rooms, including a steam room heated naturally. The reading room at the end is very relaxing and we enjoyed drinking tea and dozing in there. The spa definitely could do with a bit of renovation. It looks tired compared to the rest of Baden Baden town centre. I would nonetheless recommend a visit - just try to forget about the price!
David — Google review
The highlight activity of our 6 day stay in Germany. Each room we passed through was a novelty but the interiors hark back to times gone by. We loved the bubble baths and the heated rooms but couldn't muster up the courage for the cold bath at the end! Finished off with hot herbal tea in the reading room. Slippers, towel (at the end), sheets, free locker and hairdryers all provided. Great experience!!

This place is amazing... I spent three hours in a world of tranquillity. The facilities are fabulous, you can relax, steam, sweat, soak and swim, you lose all track of time. Once inside the building the architecture and design is outstanding. Really helpful staff, everything was explained clearly and how you follow a route around the different areas. This was my first visit to Friedrichsbad, I had previously been to the large spa next-door, but this place was amazing. I would recommend you embrace the nudity and enjoy it how the Romans used to bathe. This is now a must visit place when I am in Baden-Baden.
Nick C — Google review
We went on a Thursday around noon, and it was not crowded. I was checking some older bad reviews and was a bit hesitating. It turns out the worries were not necessary. We were super shy as that was our first time trying mixed-gender thermal spas. The staff was friendly and patiently explained the steps, and she told us to just relax ourselves and enjoy. The building itself was historic, so I am fine with some peeled-off tiles or only a few not functional faucets. I was a bit disappointed that the massage treatment was not available during the time we went. The atmosphere was really calm and soothing, and my skin became very smooth after!!
Muse W — Google review
This spa is excellent. The history behind it, its age is so fascinating. The staff exceptionally helpful. I would recommend it highly to anybody who is considering a visit. Ignore negative reviews in my opinion, and the opinion of my friends who were with me.
Debbie M — Google review
The thermal bath was a good experience though we did not get the luxury feeling there. The building is beautiful on the outside but could be maintained better on the inside. There were broken tiles and stuff which we noticed. Out of 17 steps, 4 are showers, 1 was unavailable, 4 were pools with different temperatures out of which we used only 2 as the others were too cold, 2 were steam rooms with different temperatures, 2 were air baths with different temperatures, the others were drying room, cream application room, relaxation room (best) and reading room! Except at the reception, there is no one inside to guide you but the suggestions on the notice boards in every room were quite helpful. The reception guy was very smiley and helpful. Recommendations of minimum time that you should spend are written on the boards and there are clocks in almost every room so you can time yourself. We bravely visited on a mixed-gender day as this was our first time. We almost fell asleep in the relaxation room. The place is clean but could be better maintained for the luxury feel. Unfortunately didn't meet expectations, maybe because it's not as nice comparing to other thermal baths I've been to. Description on the web site is not really accurate. They don't give any shower gel or shampoo. At the first stage where you have 3 showers with 2 soap dispensers you barely have any soap and this is your first impression. Sleepers they do give but I'm not sure how hygienic it is to use them, look quite old. And also people tend to take someone else's sleepers, the same happened my towel, so better to keep them close by. One pool had sharp bits at the bottom, be careful (I think stage 11). And I'm sorry but I saw a roach in the main pool (stage with swimming pool under big dome). Overall experience is nice and very relaxing (until you see a roach), rest rooms are good at the end, you feel relaxed and skin feels nice (though whole thing about body lotion, you just put cream from the dispenser in a small room). Building is beautiful but facilities are getting old and probably not very well maintained, next time I'll choose something modern.

Caracalla Spa is a thermal bathhouse nestled in a forested setting, offering a range of indoor and outdoor bathing experiences. The spa features a beautiful indoor pool connected to an outdoor pool, hot tubs, and various saunas including wet baths and dry saunas with varying temperatures. With its playful yet relaxing atmosphere, the spa resembles an adults-only waterpark.
Very nice experience at the Spa. We went 2 hours in the evening. We took tickets only for Spa area and was very relaxing, the pool are clean and the water was very good temperature. Also nice wet sauna inside the spa.
Andreea D — Google review
The spa has a beautiful setting with both indoor and outdoor pools that look great. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end for me. The hygiene throughout the spa is really poor. The bathrooms in the spa area smell strongly of urine and feel damp and neglected. The whole place is way too moist, including the locker rooms, where I also noticed rubbish on the floor and human hairs everywhere. It gave a very unclean impression and made it hard to relax. The solarium beds are dirty and clearly not taken care of. For a wellness facility, regular and thorough cleaning should be a priority—but here, it clearly isn’t. The sauna area is also outdated. While the wooden chalets outside look nice, everything inside feels old and run-down. Overall, the spa looks good at first glance, but once you actually use the facilities, it’s clear that cleanliness and maintenance are being ignored. This needs urgent attention.
Gabrielė K — Google review
Spent a good 2 hours enjoying the thermal waters. Ticket for 2 hours to visit the pools and use the naturist sauna upstairs is 25 euros plus a 6 euro fee gorvtowel hire. But caution keep an eye on your towel as it's 21 euros if you lose it! In the sauna area upstairs it is a no textile area and you are obliged to sit on your towels in the saunas. There are lots of choices based on temperatures and there is a cafe. Downstairs the pools are huge and extend outside so you can swim and bathe in the sun. This area is textile so you need a costume. It is very clean and there are lots of changing areas ...showers and lockers for valuables. You get a waterproof fob that does everything including charging for food and drinks...opening lockers ...gaining access to the sauna area etc. Very well run...A must if you are visiting Baden Baden.

As a lover of Japanese style hot baths, the rather tepid baths didn’t do it for me. Also the scale and theme park atmosphere was missable. So suffice to just walk through the first floor and experience the various baths especially the outdoor one with the strong current and lazy river. The second floor (no clothes) was much better as the saunas were actually hot! There are a variety of them and the most impressive is the steam room (great spa) with a sun drenched view of the outdoor bath downstairs. There are also outdoor saunas which are charming especially in cooler weather. Here you really get to sweat out toxins and the spaces are smaller and with fewer people so that you can relax. The cold plunge pools dotted around are amazing for circulation, and the foot baths to regulate temperature were a thoughtful healthy touch. I wish I skipped through downstairs more quickly to spend my time here! The changing rooms were well designed for maximum efficiency - you enter from the outside into a changing room, disrobe and the locker is on the other side. Vice versa when you leave. Everything is streamlined and neat. With the mass of human traffic I think the spa staff do their best to keep things clean but it’s not going to be 100%. Don’t bring too much - swimsuit (a must for baths) and rubber nonskid slippers if u need footwear (optional I think). Also a towel or two for the sauna - if u like to put something over u or under your head. Bathrobe if u intend to hangout in the comfy chairs for a while. Important tip - the GPS location fails if coming by car, please put in GPS the address for the parking garage : Rotenbachtalstraße 1, 76530. Did not realise the spa validated parking, so please remember to do so.

Second floor of Sauna is amazing, specially the one of 95 degrees. By the way, the front desk is very kind and nice

I spent three hours here with my boyfriend, and the time flew by! We were amazed by everything — the water is wonderful, and there are pools with different water temperatures. Lockers, dryers, showers — everything you need is here. Definitely worth a visit!
Lila M — Google review
Overcrowded. Very loud and echoing karaoke performances in the main room. Loud shouting and roughhousing in the outdoor pool. No info given at the entrance on the first visit (towel info would’ve been useful along with nudity at the upstairs sauna), had to queue for hot tub, unfriendly staff, had to queue for lounge chair, crowded sauna. I left stressed out and annoyed. Terrible standard of hospitality. If you’re American, think YMCA —but not fun.

They made me wait on the reception, while calling with colleges and planning their whole working day. I believe, your colleagues could wait for 3 minutes while you assist your customer may be? I also didn’t like that they took my documents for the whole day “because some guests forget to give back the key”. I have been in 4 and 5 stars hotels before and never experienced such a thing. Once in Switzerland I forgot to give the hotel key back and you know what? They didn’t even punish me or charged extra cent. That’s what I consider a luxury service. Also here in SPA they changed my booking spontaneously, right before the procedure - although I have booked my appointments beforehand and cleared all the details in email. But my special thank you to the therapist Anna Marie - she was the only one who apologized for the situation (even several times). The park is very beautiful and nice. The restaurant was for me 3/5 - tomatoes definitely weren’t fresh. the stuff is friendly, Fitness studio is very good equipped. But it is for sure not enough for 5 stars experience.

This hotel is unlike any other I have been to in the world. Every detail has been thought of, and the staff are unbelievably professional and kind. Much of the property has just been renovated and it’s absolutely exquisite.

An exceptional dining experience at Brenners Park Hotel & Spa! The food was exquisite, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff was warm and attentive, and the elegant ambiance made the evening unforgettable. A perfect blend of luxury and taste!

Brenners is a stunning property! The grounds, the location - excellent. We were seriously disappointed by the Spa and Fitness areas which were not anything to write home about. The clientele seems older and shall we say, well-heeled… We stayed at Brenners a few days. We were ready to leave..
Beth T — Google review
Thank you to Brenners Park Hotel and Spa for a glorious stay at their hotel. My family and I felt very welcomed by the kind staff. Gorgeous and spacious rooms, beautiful decor and wonderful food. We love this hotel and will return very soon.

While there many 5 star hotels, what separates them is the quality of their staff and Brenners Park staff is truly among the very best. At every instance, they all did everything they could to make our wonderful. If you travel alone or as we were with a family of seven, every meal and every service was a great experience. My thanks and appreciated to all their staff.

Wonderful hotel with great proximity to the central Baden Baden area. A short 10 minute walk to both thermal spas. Approximately 1 hour walk to the castle. Staff were extremely accommodating to include giving tours of the hotel, spa area, and restaurant. The staff also provided great recommendations for activities to do in the city. Overall a wonderful experience. Photos are from breakfast at the restaurant.

Modern art museum

Specialty Museums
Museum Frieder Burda, located in the Lichtentaler Allee Park, is a modern art museum designed by architect Richard Meier. The museum's collection of about 1,000 paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper focuses on Classical Modernism and contemporary art. It was established in 1998 to preserve and make accessible the personal collection of Frieder Burda.
I got to witness the Yoshitomo Nara exhibition in first person. It was a magnificent experience. I really liked the art's arrangements within the gallery and there was a lot of space to just be and take in the art. Also there was music playing, matching the artist's inspiration, and that was really great along the side. The staff was also really nice, I don't usually talk much to personnel, but here I felt very welcome. Will be back very, very soon.
Anastasia K — Google review
Went for the Yoshitomo Nara exhibition. A very nice building and great space right in the middle of town. The shop wasn’t great though, they should definitely needs to drop all the interior decoration crap.
Sam C — Google review
Great exhibition of German Impressionism with Liebermann in main focus. We enjoyed it very much, even though usually we are drawn more to abstract, surrealist and post-impressionistic pieces
Greg L — Google review
The museum is immersed in nature and it has been an amazing setting to discover the work of Nicolas Party, which is pretty much rooted in nature. The synergy with his natural landscapes and the contrast with the apocalypse and the decay of things that is a focal point of the artist has been quite magnificent. I did feel that the exhibition is rather small and restricted for the price of the ticket - although admittedly Nicolas Party created a lot of murals specifically for this museum, and I didn’t love the museum shop. I wish there were items on sale that matched the exhibition and the modern spirit of it, there were classic things on sale that you could find in any store out of this museum. I didn’t have coins with me and I couldn’t leave my jacket in the garderobe for 1 euro. I wish in the future this kind of details will be modernized. All in all a pleasant Sunday experience and I would recommend visiting if you have the chance.
Nina T — Google review
Super nice museum and also very kind staff I highly recommend going here!!♡

The Pousette exhibition didn’t resonate with me. Feels like a market driven exhibition. The museum building’s design appears to be aging quickly and does not embody a timeless character.
Stephane K — Google review
Great contemporary art museum. At the time of my visit you could reserve a spot to be taken a portait by a robot arm. There were also audioguides available for 5 eur. There is not much information, and we did not take them but they could be worth it. We went with the Museumspass.
Cristina — Google review
Nice looking museum in beautiful town of Baden-baden. Was nice to have visited, but the work they had on display at that moment wasn’t as cheerful and easy to appreciate as some of the more pop art like work you see on the Google review photos. Still had a nice time there.

Trinkhalle is a 19th-century drinking hall located in Baden-Baden, offering visitors the chance to taste fresh water from Friedrichsquelle. The neoclassical building features Corinthian columns and mythologically-themed murals, creating a chic and elegant atmosphere. Once a gathering place for elites seeking the healing properties of the thermal waters, Trinkhalle now houses the town's Tourism Office. Visitors can still enjoy fountains with reputedly healing waters nearby.
I think it would be strange to come to Baden-Baden and not visit this complementary architectural style building. Trinkhalle means (pump house) is located in the Kurhaus spa complex as the main building of the spa. The 90-metre-long corridors are lined with frescoes and benches. Very nice experience indeed.

Nice historical building in green with free entrance, providing a cooling place in midsummer.
Yiming S — Google review
One of the most iconic landmarks of Baden-Baden, Pump Room, served as mineral spring house for thermal waters. Constructed in 19th century to house healing springs, it had replaced old wooden structure (place was known for its springs from Roman times). The warning at the house is advising against drinking the water since it contains unsafe levels of arsenic. Beautiful building and garden around it, probably most memorable impression from town’s visit.
Mike Z — Google review
This is a gorgeous historical site that has been turned into a museum or event venue. There’s a display inside about famous spa towns of the world (I took a photo of the list for future reference). The experience is to walk along the outside passage to see the splendid art for the protection of this watershed (in renaissance style). No charge to enter. Worth the stroll.

Trinkhalle, Baden-Baden: A Charming and Historic Must-Visit! The Trinkhalle in Baden-Baden is an absolutely charming and historically rich spot that truly deserves a five-star review. It's not just a building; it's a journey back in time and a delightful part of the Baden-Baden experience. The stunning architecture with its elegant columns and beautiful frescoes is captivating. It’s clear that every detail was carefully crafted, making it a joy to admire from both the outside and within. Strolling along the promenade in front of it, especially on a sunny day, is incredibly pleasant. Of course, the main attraction is the opportunity to taste the famous thermal water. It's a unique and traditional experience that connects you directly to the town's spa heritage. While the taste might be an acquired one for some, the act itself is part of the charm and history. The surrounding gardens and the general ambiance contribute significantly to its appeal. It's a peaceful place to relax, people-watch, and simply soak in the refined atmosphere of Baden-Baden. The Trinkhalle serves as a beautiful gateway to the Lichtentaler Allee and is a perfect starting point for exploring the town. It's a definite must-see for anyone visiting Baden-Baden, offering both historical significance and a lovely setting. Highly recommended!

Wish I had more time but this place is amazing. The stonework is kept clean and restored. Lots of flash cards to talk about the history of the area. Park on the property is beautiful at night. The only downside is there is a massive casino nearby that makes the theme and atmosphere a little less special

Casinos & Gambling
The Baden-Baden Casino is a historic gambling establishment located in a neoclassical building adorned with ornate gilded walls, red carpet, and crystal chandeliers. Frequented by the rich and famous, it has been a source of inspiration for writers and artists throughout history. The casino offers various games such as blackjack, roulette, and slots in an elegant belle époque hall. Visitors can also enjoy dining at The Grill restaurant before trying their luck at the poker and roulette tables.
Beautiful casino. We had such a good time playing roulette. There is a dress code to enter so be sure to check the website for the rules. The dealers and other employees were quite friendly and made for an enjoyable experience. It is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible bathroom as well.

Did the guided tour for 10€ less 1€ discount from our hotel. It really is worth doing. The casino is absolutely stunning with a fascinating history. The tour takes 40 minutes and you are allowed to take photos. A nice interlude on a cold day.

NOT GOING BACK. SERVICE NOT SO GOOD, ONLY 1-2 Tables (Roulette & something else). Didn’t see BlackJack and above all, no one there to provide any material gestures of guidance or hospitality. Actually saw the 2 tables at about 3-4PM, and was totally unimpressed. Baden-Baden yes, Casino pass it. The architecture is fantastic, and the inside quite clean. The coat-check lady was nice; but the Admissions lady was definitely not nice. I was well-dressed in a black-leather jacket, tux-white shirt and a gold-laced bow tie. The B forced me to drop €10-20 on an unnecessary jacket rental; and was a snot about it. Reminded me of my first encounters in East Germany when The Wall was coming down. They thought of everything, but the people and what they might need. Walking away, I saw the Illuminati of the Casio Bar. What could go wrong here? They had everything, but a bartender; because the 3 or 4 of them were kind of in the back corner talking. No attention whatsoever to customers. As an afterthought, a bartender appeared. WOW. For the $$$$ they were charging I worried about buying dinner. Service = 5/10. Real nice place if you want to hold your mouth open, but if you came to play Blackjack or another game—you’d have more fun by a long shot at the Tampa Seminole Hard Rock Cafe (at half the cost). Not so cool. They have a lot to learn about taking care of the client. When I turned in my Jacket, Ms. N. Admissions was supervising the coat check lady with a specious, down-the-nose look. Really Surprised as was my darling. The surrounding promenade OUTSIDE OF THE CASINO was filled with Baden-Baden interest, history, and adventure.
Adam J — Google review
The Baden-Baden casino is truly stunning: an elegant, refined place full of history, definitely worth a visit. However, what a strange idea to force men to wear a jacket in the middle of summer, with the heat unbearable and the air conditioning not really up to the task. In the end, you end up sweating more than betting… A shame that such an outdated rule slightly spoils the experience in such a prestigious venue!

Absolutely beautiful and unique casino. We were just doing the guided tour, but I had love to go on night to see the atmosphere...

The Merkur Funicular Railway is a popular attraction near Baden-Baden, Germany. It is the longest funicular railway in the country and takes visitors to the summit of Merkur Mountain, which stands at 668 meters high. At the top, there are hiking paths, a restaurant with local dishes, paragliding opportunities, and a 23-meter elevator that provides stunning views from Merkur Tower. The area also features a wildlife reserve and an adventure playground for families to enjoy.
A wonderful funicular at the edge of town. Well worth finding. €14 for a return trip for two adults was very good value compared to other funicular railways we have been on.

A nice funicular (railway cable-car) leading to a lovely mountain top with amazing view and nice spots for a picnic. Theres ride takes a few minutes. The tower at the top offers stairs or an elevator (however even with an elevator there are a few steps to climb). There’s also a restaurant there.
Asaf F — Google review
An absolute must. We walked from central Baden Baden to the station which was initially very steep. It then levels out. (Regular buses & lots of car parking). The view and walking trails are great. The cafe is reasonably priced. Naturally we scoffed a Black forest gateau which was excellent.

Very accessible by public transportation. The railway itself is amazing, and the view of the Black Forest from the top is stunning. An absolute recommendation!

Merkur Funicular Railway is a scenic cable railway in Baden-Baden that takes you to the top of Mount Merkur. It’s one of the steepest funiculars in Germany and reaches an altitude of over 660 meters. 🚠 The next stop on the route goes via this funicular, offering stunning views, a café, hiking trails, and a panoramic tower at the summit. A perfect spot for nature lovers and photos!

Maison Messmer Baden-Baden - Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection is a sophisticated 5-star hotel located in the heart of Baden-Baden. It offers exclusive spa facilities, three restaurants, a cigar lounge, and an elegant bar. The hotel features soundproofed rooms and suites with modern amenities and balconies or terraces.
Excellent Hotel. Staff is super kind and friendly. We felt truely welcome every second of our stay. Pricey but worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend.
MoSAgu — Google review
I felt this hotel was overpriced for what I got. I will note that I visited on a Monday to Tuesday in the off season (March) but I paid the full rate. The hotel is beautiful but the room was average. I did have a balcony but I paid for it. I did a spa package and was less than impressed by the esthetician. She was friendly but the massage was just okay and the pedicure was not good. The service was very nice and they did do a glass of wine and a cake as a birthday celebration for me. Overall just not what I expected. Also parking was horrendously expensive!
Kelli G — Google review
The location is excellent and affords an easy walk right into town. The underground parking is tight for a larger car but you can squeeze in, it was busy when we visited. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast a good selection. Rooms were good and adequate.

Just checked out, forgot to order a taxi and the hotel manager & concierge had us personally driven to the train station. Attention to detail and VIP service like this is still well and alive at this wonderful property!! Special thanks to Brian & Martin Benker for the warm accommodations and hospitality!

Stayed here for 3 nights! Good hotel, massive rooms and the best location around. Got the deluxe room with breakfast. The breakfast is avoidable, great places to eat around the hotel.
Veer K — Google review
I was very happy until the hotel told me that they would retrieve and send my lost phone to me, and then haven’t responded to a single email (I just counted I sent 8) or returned a phone call (called 3 times). Adding in response to the hotel’s comment below. Yes, my phone was lost outside of the hotel. I don’t know a single soul in Baden, so I emailed asking if they were able to assist. I was told Yes we can. We will email you a paylink for the shipping cost. And then, they ignored my emails and calls (like telling me right person is not there) for 2 weeks. It’s a phone related to business- it was important to have a resolution. Instead I was told to rely on them, and they just turned around and ignored me - causing great anxiety and waisting time. This response below - fully ignoring the issue (which I explained to them because they asked me to take the review down) shows you what this place is - soulless and irresponsible- dressed up in a nice large building (you get to walk through a lot because one of the elevators is broken). Further AC was broken and we had to change rooms. Breakfast was ok but my celery juice was brown color.
Khrystyna M — Google review
Beautiful hotel with a very good location. Located beside the Kurpark Baden-Baden, across the casino. This hotel got so much history to tell. Breakfast was very nice as they source their ingredients from local homemade suppliers.

Specialty Museums
The Faberge Museum, established in 2009, is a unique tribute to the renowned Russian jeweler Carl Peter Faberge. It houses an extensive collection of over 700 pieces, showcasing the full range of his craftsmanship from imperial Easter eggs for the Tsars family to exquisite jewelry and everyday items from the early 20th century. Notable highlights include the Rothschild Faberge Egg and the rare rabbit-shaped decanter.
Fabergé Museum has an impressive collection and truly outstanding staff. The knowledgeable guides are passionate experts who can provide fascinating, in-depth insights about every single piece in the collection. Even more remarkably, the Gold Room showcases an extraordinary collection of pre-Columbian artifacts from the Inca and Aztec civilizations, which was a wonderful surprise.
Alexey S — Google review
Outstanding nice collection for those familiar with Fabergé and history. In context of the ticketprice is reasonable too. One⭐ less due to the lack of information. Its too little, somewhat unstructered and often only in Russian.
P H — Google review
Local lovely museum showing the detailed designs for the rich and famous from the Faberge collection and lab. Great history and amazing products. Worth a check... Your parents or grandparents may have a few of these items and you wouldn't even know the value.. 😂😊
Hugh G — Google review
The collection was interesting but somewhat hectic. Not much information was available about the exhibits. Staff had their young child running around and being very disruptive. A strange and awkward place for the hefty price that they charge.
Jul N — Google review
It's a VERY little museum overpriced 27 € for 2 little collections, the Gold and Faberge. The Gold one is just 1 room size, i expected to see something more interesting ... The whole collections Faberge and Gold honestly for what it is it are OVERPRICED, not good mantain and not attractive to the tourists ,specially for the ones who love museums,I can say this museum it is more expensive than the price of the Louvre in Paris or the Vatican in Rome and seriously nothing to compare, they are seriously making lot of profits for what they give, the customer is paying an overprice ticket for the effort they are putting in the mustum... I would like to know if the higher costs are because of donations to any charity or foundation that at least will justify the OVERPRICED ticket ,the only thing that can maybe make me think that justify 5 euros of the ticket cost it's the entrance ticket that is a Faberge Bill, like those of souvenirs you can buy in amusement parks machines with the logo park. They overprice their costs and i really feel dissapointed and scammed ,the museum doesn't cover my expectations they do have some very nice eggs of the faberge collection wich it's nice to see and worth but the exposition is very unorganized with lack of showing the history, they have little personal stuffs historical but not shown in a nice way wich it's a pitty because of the objects value, it's so messy at the point that the tourist feel tired with a headache and dizzy of such a mess put together, specially the way they put the jewelry and little stuffs that make them see like a cheap flea market wich its very sad. It's honestly very disappointed to scan an online QR code to read a few lines without a good explanation, they don't have the audio guide system. Their staff are very friendly and try to do their best but their souvenir store is also a mess with not so good quality products and OVERPRICED, it miss light in the whole museum, they can make it better , make an effort and give a better exposition well elaborate to show it to the customers and charge a fair price for what they show, or at least will be nice that they explain us if the OVERPRICED ticket it's for a good cause of charity to at least know it worth the payment.
Mili M — Google review
Too expensive for what is offered. Even though we were excited to have come across a museum dedicated to Fabrege's works, the entrance fee was shockingly high considering the size of the collection. The collection did not have as many Faberge eggs as one would expect to see. There are many items made in Faberge workshop on the exhibit though whose detailed works were impressive. Yet, hardly any further information about the maker and dates were available. Upon entrance we felt that we had mistakenly entered a Russian household. The single guide present just could give a few sentences in English about the exhibition, visitors were left to discover more through QR codes leading to bare minimum object descriptions. Half the entrance fee would be more than enough for this museum.
Sepideh A — Google review
Worth 3.5 stars, but my significant other and I went to this museum in December of 2024. Personally, I think it is overpriced but one of the tour guides gave us a detailed but concise history of Faberge Eggs in Germany. The museum is small therefore the self guided tour is brief. They have a gift shop that is nice but the replicas of the Fabrege Eggs are expensive but are still worth the look. However if you do decide to buy an egg remember..... these are NOT REAL FABREGE EGGS! But they will make an excellent accompaniment to a bookshelf, desk, table or stand.
Gentle B — Google review
Small museum full of pretty things. Nice QR code system in different languages. I imagine this is great if you’re already interested in Faberge but I wish there had been more history of the company to give some context to the items. The history of the museum is worth looking up. It’s owned by a Russian private collector. Interesting stuff with a fair bit of scandal!

The imposing church of Stiftskirche features an eclectic mix of Romanesque, Gothic, and baroque styles on its impressive architecture. The foundations date back to the former Roman baths and there are tombs inside the apse that are very interesting to see. The center of town is great for walking around and taking in all the beautiful architecture.
Beautiful church, especially the windows are impressive.
Martine M — Google review
This beautiful Romaneqsue-style church dates back to the 15th century though there are records of a church in Baden-Baden as early as 987 AD. The structure was built by Margrave Hermann V (the Pious, 1160-1243). It experienced a significant reconstruction in 1867 that added a Gothic theme and more updates and remodels since. I did not tour the cemetery (too cold today!) but this is the final resting place of the Markgrafschaft Baden from when Baden was a territory of the Holy Roman Empire in 1112 and eventually unified with the Grand Duchy of Baden in 1806. The church is well worth a visit and a tour. It is open during the daytime.

Best panoramic view of the surrounding area by far. You dont need a ticket to enter. There is no elevator, so you need to climb all 8 flights of stairs. There are a lot of parking spaces and you can also hike to the tower. Must see if you come to Baden-Baden.

Really cool place to hike to near Baden Baden and Sinzheim. Was quite beautiful during the winter. The bier garten was closed due to corona but I hear it is really cool to visit during the summer after a bit hike. The sight from the tower is really impressive. You really get to see some of the great natural sights of Germany. Parking available for free at the bottom or by the tower. No bathrooms open, at least during corona! So be aware lol. Particularly fun snowball fights up the mountain during the winter <3

(Translated by Google) Nice fitness studio, great courses with motivating and well-trained trainers, but unfortunately inflexible and expensive. I was only able to sign up for two months due to an upcoming trip. Contrary to the information on the website and my one-month “membership” contract, the management did not classify me as a member but “only” as a customer like with a ten-card. Unlike members, I didn't receive a chip with which I could register and use the underground car park freely. Instead, I had to report to reception by name each time and only received a discount on parking. I would also have had to book a personal trainer for an instruction on the device (how do you switch it on, how do you adjust the power?). With a monthly fee of €159, that's not understandable to me. Even after I asked the administration, it was not possible to simply give me a chip or explain the devices, even though they are currently advertising a free day with a personal trainer to attract new members. As a second class member, I therefore did not book a second month. However, the price offer for the various memberships has not been corrected. Apart from the inflexible, customer-unfriendly attitude of the administration, there are great courses here with super motivating and well-trained trainers. A few aids were no longer so great, for example torn and knotted thermal bands. Sometimes it was very crowded because the number of participants is not capped and you don't have to register. Courses could perhaps be labeled for advanced and all. Unfortunately, you cannot choose between a pure sports subscription and a subscription with thermal baths. As a “just customer” I will be trying out another gym in April. The overall ambience is very nice. So if you're planning a longer subscription, this might be the right place for you.

Vielen Dank, Minka.
