Vibes on full! And the food & drink matches!! I tried the pistachio cold foam iced latte and it’s to die for (I don’t even like pistachio) haha and it was unreal! Sweet, cool, and nutty! And the poached chicken bowl was nourishing and healthy! Staff was so prompt, and every single one greeted me. You must go here!

Sweet or savoury or somewhere in between - your taste buds will thank you for eating at Laneway Coffee! Amazing vibe, great team members who happy to answer any questions, atmosphere is fantastic amongst all the plants and more importantly they know how to make a good coffee. Thank you Laneway, shall be back. p.s. Already making a list of what to have next time :-)

Very packed on a Friday morning compared to the other cafés and bakeries around. We ordered an eggs benny, a toastie, and two coffees. Interestingly, the eggs benny came out before the coffee, which isn’t usually the case elsewhere. It was served with smoked salmon and spinach on sourdough. The portion was just right for one, so we ended up ordering another toastie to share from the takeaway menu. Taste-wise, the eggs benny was average, and the ham and cheese toastie was pretty standard as well. Coffee was fine, nothing standout. Do note there’s a credit card surcharge, so I opted to pay cash. Prices are as listed on the menu with no extra taxes or hidden charges.

I got the famous Indo brekkie bowl with halloumi side and it was amazing, sambal was spicy but could be easily avoided and the cucumber made it nice and fresh too. I’ve also had their nourish bowl and chili scram, both of which I would recommend to friends. Their coffee is tasty, smooth and always made really well

Great breaky, coffee and vibe but get some new knives. 🔪 I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs – it was delicious – although I would’ve loved a little more kick. My only criticism, and a pet peeve, is that the knife provided does not cut through their delicious crusty bread. Although entertaining – I don’t generally enjoy fighting with my breaky. Please give us some serrated knives. The coffee is always top notch, haven’t had a bad one yet.

Really glad we stopped into Laneway. The coffee was good, the menu was okay. I had the chilli scrambled eggs and my partner had the laneway breakfast. A tad on the expensive side but that’s okay. The eggs are amazing. The venue is lovely, although too loud. I could hardly hear my partner and we were very close to the person next to us. I would recommend laneway though, even if you just grab take away coffees.

Laneway Coffee in Darwin is such a gem! The vibe here is super chill and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax. The coffee is absolutely on point—rich, smooth, and expertly made. I also loved their freshly squeezed juices, which are bursting with flavor. This week’s mix of passion fruit, coconut, mango, and apple was simply incredible—so fresh and delicious! Highly recommend for great coffee, amazing juices, and good vibes all around.

Best way to describe this cafe, I think is bijoux boheme meets chic. The location amongst the trees on the foreshore can't be beaten. Something about the dilapidated seating scattered among the trees shouts carefree beachy and hippie. I really wanted to give it 5 stars after today's visit 3/9/24 but today we must have hit a 'slappy lazy ho hum' service day. Perhaps this is part of the vibe they're going for, layback take it or leave it. Anyway, the iced chocolate was very nice, the ice latte was pricey at 6$ for the size IMO. I learnt later by accident that there was an orange cake on offer but you had to ask for it. While we were too early for lunch, other people's burgers looked good. It's definitely worth a visit but be prepared for premium prices.

Love this place nice coffee and a stunning view. Never be fan of the food but each test is different for everyone. Pro. You can enjoy a beautiful green space with ocean view and your dog. Con. Avoid Sunday it’s way to busy and you will wait ages to get your order or find a sit. Recommend to go during the week when the place is quieter and you can enjoy a nice juice.

If you want a nice place to relax its ok. But other than that the food has gone from bearable to awful. The burgers are constantly coming out burnt and with an unhealthy amount of what seams to be a relish sauce, over powering everything and leaving a foul after taste. The salads are soaked and pretty much just mush. And the fish has recently been dripping with oil to the point there is a pool of it left on the plate. Definitely not worth the prices anymore.

This is my second visit, when I went first time I felt I should not be judging with one time as the place place was good to visit. My second time was a disappointment too. The price is expensive how ever the service is not great. I ordered smashed avocado and it was bland and the bread was not toasted well. I asked extra hot coffee twice today but were cold then normal the young girl would hardly follow instructions when ordering and I feel like the business should be aware of this as they need to provide more training to their staff.

Took a breakfast here, quite hard to find but when you do it's worth a visit for a meal. Parking is available close by or at the bottom of the street If parking is full, so maximum of a 50m walk. Was a small queue when I went but still ordered food and drink within 10minutes. Food was nice and as ordered, was a nice variety on the menu but limited tables nearby so you have to wait for your order then take it to your table, no service. A few picnic tables close to ordering point them more tables around the area, some with nice views if the sea. A nice little place for any meal so have a look if your close by!

Shameful! The cost of the food is ridiculous. Over priced and very low quality. How can you mess up an egg and bacon roll! The plastic plate was all scratched up with a gaping crack. Burnt egg and cheap bacon with lots of fat on it. The whole thing was running with grease. Lucky we had tissues and wet wipes in the car. There was little shade beach side so had to sit under the trees in a dirty, scruffy unkempt area. I’ll never go again and will never recommend it.

Top Darwin experience! Incredible Singaporean cafe with great coffee and food. Laksa exceptional. Hainan chicken also. With extra chicken on the side! Plus banana bread and strong Singaporean coffee. Best Singaporean place we’ve eaten outside Singapore. Super friendly and helpful too. Very popular. Don’t miss out!

This place offers simple friendly efficient and personalised service, The coffee is outstanding, the coffee art is creative and spectacular and the food is simple comfort food with a twist that takes it into the exceptional category. Kopi Stop has fast become my favourite location for coffee in the morning and on days off breakfast with an outstanding twist. Congrats to all.

We went here to have laksa one morning for breakfast, and honestly, it was the best laksa I’ve ever tasted. The broth was absolutely incredible and so full of flavour. I had the typical Singaporean coffee with condensed milk, and that was delicious, too. The next day, I went back for a takeaway coffee and the Kaya toast. They are always busy, have friendly service, and just really yummy food. I highly recommend.

I love Kopi Stop! I’m a regular here for coffees which are always great, their food is also delicious and the staff are very welcoming and kind. Thank you Kopi ☕️

Wow, this place really lived up to the reviews. I had the Hainanese Chicken Rice and it was truly delicious. The chicken was so juicy and soft, and the flavours of the broth and the rice were really powerful. Together it was a really enjoyable dish, would highly recommend this place.

Nice and authentic Singapore dishes with nice and thick congee and soft noodles and homemade wonton dumplings. More of cafe vibe.

KOPI is always go-to place for me on Weekends. I love the coffee and super friendly atmosphere in here. The only suggestion would be that if the veggies in Laksa are fresh instead of frozen ones would be perfect! ( in May) I am not sure if they saw the comments I left last time, but they had totally fresh broccoli today!!! It was fantastic!

Very ordinary Avo smash on dry toast with equally dry bacon. There are cafes who put their own signature on this popular all day brekkie fav but not here. Tea was proper infused tea leaves - good. Nice location at one end of Cavenagh St. Sit alfresco if you wish.

Great place, beautiful ambience and views. Amazing and delicious menu, I will definitely recommend this to everyone. I only got a coffee today but will be heading here for lunch tomorrow

I was in Darwin just 2 nights but ended up having breakfast here both times. Food was fresh and fast, staff were lovely, and the coffee was great. As well as the usual egg/toast/avo combinations there’s a healthier almond and pepita granola (which was superb), oats with banana and berries, a mango chia pudding, and delicious banana pancakes. If it’s too steamy you can eat indoors, but everyone else is enjoying the Darwin lifestyle outside on the covered veranda.

Great location and nice atmosphere. Good is actually quite good. Some of the young servers are learning. However it's just a very nice place. I'll be back for a good breakfast in a nice location again.

We had the Eggs Benedict. Food was okay the hollandaise sauce was so salty. I felt like I dipped my mouth in the ocean. Great atmosphere. Loved the plants by the balcony.

Been here quite a few times recently and also back in 2019. Hands down the best tasting coffee I've had in Darwin. There's some other good places but this one is my favourite. Have a dine in coffee to get the full experience of the coffee in a mug, not just a takeaway. The staff here are also incredibly friendly. Thank you guys

Food is not cooked properly and not tastes right. Burgers so salty and the lettuce inside was off and not fresh. chicken wasn’t cooked inside. Halloumi was burned and mushroom was so old. Eggs were overcooked. Coffee is taste burned and milkshake was served when it was melted all outside of glass. Glass was cleaned by clot in the waiter’s bag instead of using tissues or paper towels.

The atmosphere and service were great. The food, in my opinion, was subpar for the lamb tacos. Had other in my group that loved the chicken sandwich and burgers.

Total waste of money and time. Got the salted caramel milkshake - which tasted like a weak vanilla, enjoyable but not worth it. Also got the benedict, which was…interesting. Used hash brown instead of toast for base, which ended up not really hitting the mark. Too oily. The staff were amazing and atmosphere great, but I wouldn’t spend me money here again.

Besser is honestly one of my favourite places, I can’t get enough! The staff are always so lovely and welcoming, they really make the whole experience feel warm and personal every time I visit. I’m completely hooked on their juice – it’s so fresh and packed with flavour, and honestly, everything on the menu is a hit. I’ve never had a bad meal here! Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or just a quick stop for a drink, it’s always spot-on. Such a beautiful space, amazing food, and even better people. Besser is a total standout – I recommend it to everyone!

Overall: EXCELLENT. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast which is very rich in flavor plus spicy (not too much). Good news is, I think, this is my first time to see a mont blanc coffee in Darwin, which is my favorite!

Been coming to Darwin for years during winter and Darwin festival. The one and only consistent place to eat and have a great coffee is Rays! Perfect Mushroom stack with Poached eggs. Perfectly soft organic sourdough even after lightly toasted! ❣️❣️❣️

Okay I think I just went to the best cafe I’ve ever experienced.. this never happens. After travelling Australia and doing loads of reviews at cafes Ray Cafe & Patisserie now sits at top spot. The staff were so inviting and helpful, and my croissant melted in my mouth. The good vibes inside plus the yum cap just finished it all off. Thanks crew!

Nice place with a large shaded courtyard to cater for small and larger groups. Good menu options and if you love your coffee on the strong side, this is the place for you. Had the scrambled eggs which was big and tasty! A well patronised place! Wonderful staff, excellent service.

Visiting as a family of four, with our just turned 3 year old. I went to order our breakfast and the lady stated she would not accomodate with making scrambled eggs for my child but instead I could buy a full adults scrambled egg meal. We left and took our business elsewhere. Was not impressed. We ended up at perk and palate which was very accommodating and had fantastic food, service and atmosphere.

Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My friend and I visited Boatshed for the first time and were seriously impressed! We had the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale — both were absolutely delicious. The soft brioche was a standout and paired perfectly with everything. Coffee was spot-on, and the waterside seating with views of the boatyard made the experience even better. Toilets were clean too. Only downside was the long queue to order — took over 20 minutes and made the hallway a bit cramped. But surprisingly, our food and drinks came out within 5–10 minutes, and the staff were fantastic. You can bring your pet. Overall, 5/5. Will definitely be back! Suggestion: Add QR code ordering to speed things up and ease the congestion.

Nice and cool place to dine during dry season. If you can’t finish your toast, take it down to the pier to feed the fish.

Breakfast was on our menu today. We ordered Bonnie Stack. Very nice. We loved the big coffee cups, so if coffee is your go-to, order one. They have a bin near the door with bread for feeding the fish near the jetty.

Beautiful day on the boardwalk, friendly customer service on ordering, very quick service of coffee and cake. Not the nicest coffee and the cake was stodgy and unpleasant. I ve visited before and will have food here again, hopefully was just a good day.

Great food and coffee in a beautiful setting and very dog friendly. We were amazed that dogs are allowed in the Botanic Gardens and can be offload as long as in sight and under control. Our dog was in heaven.

I visited this café because it had good reviews, but I was really disappointed by the lack of hygiene. I’ve attached photos so you can see that my coffee was served on a visibly dirty, greasy saucer — completely unacceptable in any food establishment. It’s surprising that in Australia, which claims to have strict hygiene standards, food is still being served like this. The staff also didn’t wear gloves or hair coverings while preparing drinks, which would never be allowed in many European or Asian countries. This experience was genuinely off-putting. Who knows how they prepare coffee and other food!! I hope the management takes hygiene more seriously and trains their staff properly!! But I’ll still be reporting this to the local food safety authorities because customers deserve much better.

Staying in Darwin for a week, and we just found this gem today ( due to fly back to Brisbane on Saturday ) We wish to find it earlier and its a walking distance from our accommodation! Ordered the Laksa Egg Benedict with salmon ( it was scrumptious!! ), it sounded interesting on the menu, it looked good when it was presented and tasted delicious!! I would have it everyday for my breakfast!! Hubby had chocolate thick shake, and it was the real thick shake on the stainless steel cup ( which it should be ) unlike others they go on the glass! Hubby loved it!! It was thick, real milk and tasted so nice he said. The staff was lovely ( the lady with a blonde hair ). She was quick, friendly and welcoming! Plenty of tables at the front and at the back as well under the trees. The place was really nice inside the botanical garden itself. We could just sit there for the whole day enjoying their food and drinks. Plenty of parkings and dog friendly too. Also its disabled access too. We definitely will come again next time when we visit Darwin again! 👍☺

Located near the carpark in the Botanic gardens covered under large trees is very nice. We had some coffee, hot chocolate, juice and banana bread, which was delicious. TheNomand.family can recommend having a break there.

Almost closing time on Sun 27/7 recently when I ordered a choc ice drink for $9.50 takeaway. Mostly filled with ice so hmm.. Might have cooled me in the sizzling weather! Service staff are lovely. Cafe is housed in a pre-fabricated Wesleyan Methodist Church from early settlement days in 1897 restored & relocated from original site in Knuckey St. Great re-purposing of heritage in a beaut garden setting.. Great food with an amazing view. The burger was cooked perfectly and came with some delicious chips. If you’re in this area, I highly recommend you stop by here. They also have some pretty amazing views of the sunset here and there is a walking pack that leads along the cliffs overlooking the ocean.

We were delighted to find this cafe restaurant at the end of our walk along from Nightcliff Beach. The service and the food were really good but it is the atmosphere which does it. Lovely views and an ideal place just to sit have coffee and breakfast. Hard to find anything better at the end of a walk.

Beautiful food, location and service. Really enjoyed the "volume appropriate" live music. Ordered the Barramundi, which was fabulous. Only disappointment was the fish is advertised as having a pine nut and currant salad but it is really just a light garnish at best. Very tasty but the fish would have benefitted from more of it. Loved watching the sunset too.

Great varied menu with an awesome spot overlooking the sea. The service was friendly and the food tasty - with very generous serving sizes. Blueberry may have was more blueberry than matcha! But tasty nonetheless, as were the frappes. Great spot in darwin.

Foreshore Café in Nightcliff is a lovely spot with a beautiful beach view. The space is comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. It’s always busy, especially on weekends, but the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. We really enjoy spending time there!

The place was humming for a Sunday and I was surprised how fast the food came out and drinks. I can't fault the service or food. The view is so relaxing

My recent visit to Karma Cafe was far from positive. The strawberry pancakes were a significant letdown. The bottom of the stack was disappointingly soggy, almost watery, which completely ruined the texture. The promised maple syrup seemed to be absent, or if present, undetectable – the flavor was certainly lacking. It neither looked nor tasted like genuine maple syrup had been used. Frankly, it was a far cry from what I'd expect, especially for a weekly special. My flat white was equally average, and the service was indifferent. Overall, a disappointing experience that fell short of expectations, especially given the cafe's reputation.

Great place for breakfast. I should visit again before moving to Brisbane. ;)

This little gem was a surprise I stumbled upon one day and I'm glad I went back to confirm that it wasn't just a once off good experience. Great coffee. Delicious food, so many great options it's hard to choose 👀 Bacon cooked to perfection 🥓👌 A choice of portion sizes for if you just want a light breaky. Amazing smoothies, had to wrestle it away from my kid so I could have some 😄 I could go on and on! The staff are lovely too, it is refreshing to be treated like a human and not just a number. Will definitely be back for more! 💯💯💯

This is a great place for breakfast/ brunch. The coffee, smoothie bowls and pancakes we had were delicious. It’s a bit tricky to find, tucked behind a play area, look out for the chalk board sign they put out! Worth the cab ride to visit.

Go there!! We went there 3 days in a row for breakfast/lunch. Every meal was excellent and made with care. A lot of choice as well. The omelette filled with vegetables was my favorite! I wish we we're still there to go back. Highly recommended!!!!

Many healthy options and excellent and beautifully presented coffee. There is charging here if you Drive a tesla also. The staff are friendly and very fit which ties in.nicely with the cafes theme. I foolishly Forgot to photograph my bacon.and eggs. They were well presented too! I Think the sign should read 'Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you never imagined`

The fresh juice was great, I was a little disappointed with the service as unfortunately they were busy and I was in a hurry but definitely would return in a less time sensitive capacity

A lovely little cafe with outdoor and indoor tables, stools, and bench seating. The menu has a range of options to choose from, and its offerings are diverse. We highly recommend the Japanese pancake with mushrooms and the eggs benedict with ham. Both were absolutely delicious. The coffee is great! Cappuccino and piccolo. Actually, it was one of the best brunches we had in Darwin, if not the best! Our main server was friendly and remembering meals need to be cooked, it was quick service.

Andrea makes superb coffee it was made to perfection. It’s a really nice cozy cafe with a great outdoor sitting area too. Overall very good customer experience keep up the great hospitality and service :)

We happened across this quaint cafe whilst exploring Darwin’s various arcades. In fact, this location is unique as it used to be the old, open air cinema. The butterscotch muffin was decadent and delicious and the special, four cheese toastie is worth the extra cholesterol on your arteries - yum!

Nice little Cafe in a tiny square with outdoor seating under a canopy of trees, a little oasis. A nice setting and good place to chill.

I’ve been to a few places around Darwin for coffee, and this is by far my favorite. The food was incredibly delicious. And I was really surprised by how good the salad dressing was. And that’s coming from someone who isn’t a big fan of vegetables. I wasn’t going to eat it, but it was that good I wanted to.  Not a bad menu selection, either.

Quality ingredients make the food here so good. Coffee excellent, and I’m a good coffee addict! Tucked away, not always busy but worth the search.

Not much personality or atmosphere. Great setting and garden. Food is tasty but not inspiring. Pricey treat for budget travellers. Centrally located, Campos Coffee. Very popular, good for dating. The Loaded Croissant was tasty @ $19 the ingredients complimented each other well. Just not my kind a cat.

Coffee was good, good atmosphere. The food wasn't that great. as you can see my asparagus was so dry and the beans abit old. I would cone back fir rhe coffee but not for the food.

Recommended by a Darwin local, this is a great place for breakfast. Located behind Mitchell Street, it has brought a Melbourne coffee feel to the top end. A large choice of healthy (and not so healthy but very tasty 😜) items, with excellent coffee. Seating is available both inside and outside, but outside, in the shade, is what Darwin is about.

I liked the farmer's feast. Hollandaise sauce was nicely made and the eggs were well poached. This cafe is definitely a popular trendy place as there was a constant line to be served. It would be nice if there was more chorizo sausage and the bacon could be so softer.

The girls did my soy flat white super well and I couldn’t enjoy it more. A read of Darwin magazine suggests that I should try their baked goods so I had a chocolate hazelnut croissant and I highly recommend it. I also had the Farmers Feed among all others from the well designed menu which appears to be relatively ordinary for me. I’d like to see more greens on plate if possible.

Yummo! Had a chorizo sandwich and hubby had croque monsier. Delish. Really quick service. Also had an almond croissant. All tasted great. Cute little establishment. Setup looks great. I found the pricing to be very reasonable 😁

Loved the sourdough there. Flat white was also amazing. Great food though I was caught a bit surprised by the pricing as this was in premium territory. That said, I would still come back when I’m visiting Darwin.

Trader Bar is a must visit! Great vibes, expertly crafted cocktails, and top-notch service. Tucked away just off the main strip, this place has all the charm of a secret local favorite with the quality of a high-end cocktail lounge. What really sets Trader Bar apart is the atmosphere. It feels like the kind of place where locals and visitors mix easily, where the music is always on point, and the energy is just right.

Went on a Saturday afternoon for some cocktails with a friend for old times sake. I used to love this place, it used to have good vibes and great cocktails. BUT it was far from that on this visit. Only one other table, no music for half the time we were there, and cocktails served in TINY glasses. For $25 a cocktail, I can see why this place isn't busy anymore.

Had a birthday reservation inside. The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and made sure we were taken care of all night. The food, drinks and overall atmosphere throughout the night was great. The venue was clean, and there was plenty of space for our party to move around and enjoy ourselves without getting in the way of other people going in and out. In summary, the event organiser and staff went above and beyond to ensure the night was planned and executed to the highest standard. Would 100% go back for casual food and drinks, and recommend the Trader Bar to anyone thinking of holding an event :).

Reeeeeeeeeeallll dark and dimly lit place - I couldn't even see some of my other mates who were present that night! Having said that it's good for a romantic or closer atmosphere, with some good cocktails and funky bar staff. The prices are a bit spice at around 20 for a cocktail, but overall the location is quite advantageous as well being close to the centre but not TOO close.

Have been to Trader several times now with groups of friends for a catchup with some cocktails, and I have never left disappointed. We are always greeted with a smile from the friendly staff, and even over last weekend when they were under the pump with what looked like several pre-arranged functions inside, we were made to feel welcome and didn't have to wait long for our drinks. Highly recommend for some delicious cocktails with the girls

I recently enjoyed two visits to Cyclone Cafe, and I can confidently say that both experiences were exceptional. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly, making each meal a pleasure. I also enjoy the coffee—it was rich and satisfying, perfectly complementing my meal. Overall, I had a very good experience both times, and the consistent quality truly stood out. I highly recommend Cyclone Cafe for anyone looking for good food, excellent service, and a friendly atmosphere.

I would say just fine with the toast but the coffee is embarrassing it was more filled with choco topping I couldn’t find taste of coffee .

First time trying an açai bowl, and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Lovely staff too.

One of the best kept secrets in Parap. Open early for breakfast and lunch. Fantastic breakfast experience. The food was delicious and fresh (date scone with jam, and scrambled eggs on toast). The coffee was divine (large mocha - no sugar). Visually, the shop was spotless, and the walls were dressed with art that were also for sale. Easy to get to by car from Darwin CBD and plenty of timed parking outside. Visited on a Monday morning at 10:00am

Shared a large cinnamon palmiere here this morning 2/9/24, gorgeous pastry, super fresh finger licking good. The rest of the pastry delights looked amazing. Coffee was very good, service was friendly and efficient. The brunch/lunch menu looked interesting and we'll be back to try it. We sat outside in the front to catch the breeze as it was too hot for us inside. Great looking place, too bad its not the sort of building that lends itself to better cooling. Highly recommend a stop here.

there’s a car park inside I first didnt know it so I drove around the road seeing some car parked along the street but then I went inside and asked the staff and I just knew that there’s a car park inside not many bays and luckily I can park my car there. I found the coffee really good. I ordered a Macca iced. It’s a big cup I love it. I also love the atmosphere at this coffee shop.

One of Darwin's best kept secrets. It took me a year to find this place Has the feel of a great cafe. Only place I know in Darwin that stocks a good almond croisant. That alone sets it apart. This place is real.

Perhaps I came on a bad day, or maybe we just ordered the wrong thing, but our meals weren't that great. Firstly, I dont really understand why the egg was served ontop of the sandwich, the aesthetic looks cool for picture, but the practicality of it made it awkward to eat. There was no sauce served with the chips, maybe im just silly and should of ordered extra, but I kind of just assumed there would be sauce added to the side already like they do in other places. Thats my bad. The burger was quite oily and although it didn't taste totally bad, it's made us never want to come again. Im sure its a great breakfast place for other people, but we genuinely didnt enjoy it that much. Im sorry. I will say however, the drinks and smoothies were great. And I remember eating a chicken salad there years ago which was delicious.

Really nice Cafe to eat in, and the coffee was great. I ordered the pancakes and unfortunately they were pretty raw, so it made them extremely chewy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful though.

On Saturday afternoon, we visited Rendezvous Café. It wasn’t too busy, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were very friendly. The café has a pleasant atmosphere and is kept clean and tidy. The service was impressively quick. I highly recommend trying the satay chicken with peanut sauce—it was absolutely delicious. The special fried rice and the combination dishes were also excellent. However, the seafood egg noodles were a bit too salty for my taste, and the seafood quality didn’t meet my expectations. Many people rave about their laksa. While I’m not a fan of laksa myself, it might be worth a try if you enjoy it. Overall, it was a good experience!

We were staying at the Hilton Darwin for one night and chose this restaurant for proximity to hotel and previous reviews. We were not disappointed. Lovely staff and fantastic food. It's BYOB but they told us that when we phoned to book so bought a bottle of wine to take with us. We'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

My partner lived in Darwin over 10 years ago and used to visit this restaurant all the time for the Laksa, at its old location. She wanted to bring me here for dinner and to enjoy the Laksa again. I had chicken and beef Laksa and it was phenomenal. Flavours were fantastic and the beef was so tender and basically melted in your mouth. Only in Darwin for a week but going to be stopping back in here for sure.

I ordered the won ton soup with extra won tons. When it came it had 4 won tons in it. I asked if they forgot the extra won tons- I get 5 won tons and an extra 5 at another place, which I prefer but they happened to be closed that evening. No you got your extra won tons was the reply- so I then clarified- so your WON TON SOUP only has 2 won tons? Yes was the reply!!! Absolutely embarrassed for them and won’t go again!!!!

Went out for lunch with two friends. I ordered the tomato & cheese toasted sandwich with a mocha. Unfortunately the mocha was not that hot and tasted quite burnt and bitter. Although the food was a little slow to arrive, the toasted sandwich was extremely filling and crispy, definitely worth the wait! Aside from the drink, the service was impeccable as we didn't need to order at the counter and paid when we finished eating, which I thought was very restaurant-like as I have never had this type of service at a cafe before. FYI the breakfast burrito is served in foil, my friend just removed it for the photo.

Decent coffee and a couple of vegan alternatives. Everything else is what you normally find in any other normal Australian cafe. Atmosphere is fine, but it's a place where you can find many families with little kids during the weekend so, if kids are not your thing, it can get very noisy.

A deep dive in the fantasy/sci-fi video gaming/movie culture of the 80s and 90s. The cafe's area is tiny (think 3 rooms of a small sized house), and they are filled up to the ceiling with vintage memorabilia and video cassettes. I know no nerd born between 1975 and 1995 that wouldn't enjoy a coffee here with a smile, proven that he/she also likes kids, as they are rightfully ever present. The place could, in fact, be considered very much kids oriented, as long as said kids are accompanied by 80-90s culture nostalgic parents. Food is also unexpectedly good, although there aren't many choices on the menu. My understanding is that some local clubs made of this cafe a sort of unofficial venue for their reunion, so it is not recommended to people that enjoy solitude.

Apart from having vegan food which was fantastic!!! What’s awesome about the mad snake cafe is the collection of games and nerdy electronic memorabilia from the 70’s and 80’s like starwars collectable. He has movie nights and game night. You have to go!! 🎮🎳🃏🕹️

I had an amazing breakfast experience at this place over the weekend . Despite being quite popular and busy atmosphere, was able to quickly find a seat and being promptly served. The menu offered a variety of options, but I especially enjoyed the generously portioned pancake topped with Nutella, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream. The environment was pleasant, with outdoor seating available. The customer service was exceptional and the presentation of the food was impressive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a leisurely breakfast or lunch.

Food was super tasty! I’m a bit picky with pastas but their pesto pasta and chilli prawn pasta was really nice! Pretty place to eat, maybe bring some mosquito spray if you’re coming at night. Would definitely come back.

Went for a weekend brunch here, wasn't sure what to expect. It gets busy, so clearly popular. The food was good, the nutella coffee was pleasant. It was nice, but not amazing. If I lived next door I'd probably go regularly, but otherwise won't go out of my way to come here.

We just had coffee here, which was great, beautiful flavours & perfect coffee art. Would be a 5 score, but they mixed up our order & so we were kept waiting for quite some time. The staff are very polite & the cafe bar is very clean. Good selection of pre made sandwiches available along with sweets etc

After hearing numerous positive reviews about Coffee Man on Mitchell Street, I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by the positive and lively atmosphere of the staff. It turned out to be one of the best cups of coffee in town. Had Matcha Frappe, and cappuccino with banana bread. The place also offers a great selection of fresh juices. If you're looking for high-quality coffee and friendly, prompt service, this place has it all.

Quite good if your ok with self guided. There was a lot to look at and the information was good but you need a fair amount of time to read everything. The interactive screens are good and the show was informative but left out a lot of details, leaving you searching for more info. I thought I would have a better understanding of the history leaving the theatre, but then found it in pieces while walking around the property.

The Darwin Military Museum is a must-visit if you’re in Darwin! 🇦🇺✨ I found it fascinating because it really brings the city’s history to life, especially the events of 1942 during World War II. Walking through the museum, you get to see an impressive collection of army trucks 🚛, uniforms 🎖️, and historic weapons 🔫. The displays are well set out and give you a real sense of what Darwin went through during the bombing raids. The multimedia presentations and exhibits make the history feel alive — it’s not just reading information, it’s like stepping back in time. If you love history, the military, or just want to understand Darwin on a deeper level, this place is definitely worth the visit. 🙌

WOW. This has to one of the best museums I have visited in a long time. The cinema was so great and the movie was very well made. Displays were also well worth the visit, and as someone coming from Europe, it was nice to see all the exhibits and get a view on the war from the other side of the world. We spent good well over two hours and we would definetely come again. Thank you

Awesome museum. Lots of cool displays and there's a huge outdoor area. Lots to learn from WWII and the defence members who were part of various wars.

For the war historians this museum is a must. Be prepared to spend at least half a day there. There is an interesting film presentation which should not be missed and a number of interactive panels to explore.

Great history, vehicles, remembering our defence forces and an amazing display and memories from Holocaust survivors. It was the usual hot day, but really pleasant covering the acres through shaded paths and gardens.

Visited as part of WW2 Half Day Tour by Land & Sea recent Fri 25/7. Blown away literally! Only visited war memorial museums previously. This is on the actual WW2 Fortification heritage listed site on Darwin's military zone East Point area. The best part is outside - Armoured tanks & military vehicles, Bailey Bridges, recreated living quarters, Gun emplacement building on its original site with exhibits in bunker area surrounded by memorial plaques outside. Plus Holocaust indoor mini complex - it is a huge area set amongst gargantuan Banyan trees & nature's camouflage. So our allocated 1.5 hours was never going to be enough. I watched the Defence of Darwin experience when the war siren activated. After this - did a quick whizz inside & headed out. Covered almost all outdoor exhibits & military fortification by speed reading & taking pics to peruse later. Thankful indeed to live in peaceful times but also in absolute awe of the might, size & sheer intimidation of the military vehicles & equipment of yore. The Furphy water tank in good condition was another highlight- the phrase "to spin a furphy" originated!

Booked ahead and got a table on the beach. The sunset was spectacular. The live entertainment was very good. Choice of drinks was good. Food was good quality pub level. Would have liked a few lighter options. Service was friendly.

The atmosphere by the beach is fantastic, especially if you come just before sunset. Food was okay (this does not mean it is bad). Definitely more of casual outing.

Hats off to Chef Rohan. He is the best and he makes the finest Nepali cuisine for buffet in town, and nobody can compete. Every single dish was absolutely delicious; whatever you taste here, it’s the best, no doubt about it. The hospitality was outstanding too. We never had to call anyone for top-ups or other service, the staff came by themselves, attentive and caring throughout. The service was smooth, and all of our guests were just as impressed, constantly complimenting the food. From start to finish, it was a perfect dining experience. Shoutout to the Chef and the team. I have just returned to Darwin for a holiday 32yrs after leaving as a teen. This place holds great memories for me and to be able to come back with my hubby was lovely. Such a lovely place to sit and admire the view.

Value less than great though-$20 cerviche gave what felt like about 20 g of fish (7cm x5cm bowl total with filler veg) and a whole lot of rice crackers, croc fillet and S&P squid also expensive for the size of serve provided. Tasty enough. I wonder it maybe the larger dishes are better value?

This is meant to be “the place to be” in town. I have had the pleasure of visiting many times and tonight, a tall, blonde lady that was in the entrance, pushed me - yes, with her hand on my shoulder, asking me to “get a stamp”. This is the very first time I experienced someone pushing me at the entrance of a club!! The minimum that you ask is respect - the security man in the entrance kindly asked for my ID, why would she allow herself to push me? With no reason at all? Couldn’t she ask: you need to wait and get a stamp to enter tonight? Why did she have to push me? I told this to someone that looks like a manager. I’ve seen him on the club before. He said: “sorry” but the offence does not go away with a “sorry”. Completely disappointed. If you “have to go” take a trip to the raw-nasty-disrespectful entrance on the dry season. However, I’m sure that you will find better places where you can invest your time, money and energy. Thank you!

Had brunch today, 31/8/24 with my partner. Pricing is average, a little under under $ 60 for both. I ordered the bagel Benny, he ordered bacon and eggs. We both ordered cappuccinos. Overall service was good and the food came out super fast. The coffee was good. The Benny poached eggs were very good as was the toasted bagel, I marked down because the bacon was limp and underdone for my liking, more stewed than fried and there was a balsamic drizzle on the plate that detracted from the taste. The hollandaise was fine, on the side which is great but it's not made fresh. My partners bacon and eggs were well served however, he hates the taste of balsamic vinegar so he didn't enjoy his meal.

Okay it’s noisy, find me a cafe in Darwin that isn’t! The service is what is expected, in any eatery, prompt, efficient and friendly. The food is very good, I chose the Tuesday Steak special and was not disappointed. In fact it was cooked to perfection, better than some steak houses. My compliments to the Chef on duty on Tuesday evening. Rule 101 in any kitchen is get your steaks right. I also had a Banana split with 3 varieties of Ice cream and once again was delighted with the presentation. Given the occasion ( 6 dining and 2 wee ones) would I go back? Yes. Reading some of the other comments on this establishment… I believe it’s always better to critique than give criticism. As to the prices, I was happy and content with the menu prices, I’ve just spent the last 6 months driving through every state and eating in many different locations and restaurants and I can assure you that the Cool Spot are very affordable considering where they are located. As a Chef of 40 years experience, I would recommend this establishment, I have eaten here off and on for the past 26 years and the staff are fantastic, menu’s come and go but it’s always the people who cook for you and serve you that make your experience worthwhile and memorable. So thank you to the women who served our table on Tuesday night. You are to be commended.

OMG I’m so glad this place is just around the corner from me! Food is awesome to die for! We had gnocchi, fish of the day, bread and dips. Unfortunately there is no table service, you have to order at the bar, but this was quite quick. The wine menu was slightly limited, however this was made up for by the food! Sooo good 😊 put this on your list of place to eat in Darwin you will not be disappointed.

We went there to have breakfast. We ordered an omelette and eggs on toast (plus halloumi and tomato). I accidentally forgot to ask for my toast without butter. When we approached to the counter to change the order they refused, how can you refuse to change something so simple? Really poor customer service . At the end of the day, I should have asked to remake the toast bc it was burnt. A bit overpriced for what they offer, $25 for that brekkie. We are not coming back.

My friend and I have been visiting Darwin for the past week and found Coolspot by mistake. It is a really lovely place for coffee or lunch or dinner. We have been 4 times in the week. Coffee, lunch and Steak dinner. Absolutely wonderful.

I remember when Carlo built this place and shifted his stratospheric success story Cool Spot ice cream from a tiny shopfront around the corner, creating a great outdoor venue. Carlo long ago sold, and it's changed hands many times since. It's noisy because it's popular, and with the now much busier road the atmosphere gets a 2. I don't get why it's popular these days, except it's a nice breezy place to sit and yell so the person opposite you can hear. A good cafe takes ordinary food and makes it special. This place takes ordinary food and makes it more ordinary. I mean, how can you make poached eggs on toast taste yuk? Is it the eggs you use? The bread you toast? A secret spell the cook chants? And the service, well it's just plain sullen.

The Rabbithole is a comfortable cafe in Darwin CBD under the Paspalis building. Indoor and outdoor seating. Pleasant and welcoming staff. I had a flat white and the Korean Toast. Coffee was good and the toast was interesting, but ultimately not my favourite to no fault of the cafe. Will definitely come back and try other menu items.

Coffee here was great. We ordered double shots in our flat whites, pleasant flavours & nicely presented. Only problem was when delivered was spilled in saucer & forgot to replace saucer. My order for breakfast was the Korean toast. Something different for breakfast. Brioche with fluffy omelette & veg.

Ordered the Big Rabbit, which consisted of well cooked eggs and great sourdough bread with assorted greens and guacamole. The bacon was average and small in portion. Very expensive at 34 dollars on a Sunday. The staff were friendly however there is 0 table service which is crazy considering the price. Overall 3.5, would come again if the price reflected the food and service.

Nice cafe with a LOT of options!!! The cashier explained the menus and was very helpful. I was so glad this unique cafe was open around 1430 (2:30pm) as everything around seemed to be closed from 1300-1730. The chef was very nice and brought my pizza out personally. The pizza was very tasty and had just the right balance of toppings. Thanks for saving the day, chef!

We are staying in Darwin for a few days and we’re just wandering around checking out the place and looking for dinner. We are so glad we went in. The service is great and the cafe has an awesome vibe about it. Service was great, we were told up front it was a 30min wait as they were busy, it was only a little longer than what they advised, but we were ok to wait. We popped back the next day for breakfast, although I was really looking forward to the deserts in their display case - that’s next on my list of things to try from Salvatores before we leave Darwin next week !

However, it’s nice to know the option is there for those looking to enjoy a hearty meal. Our experience was centered around a cozy afternoon, indulging in cakes and coffee which were both satisfying. The ambiance is pleasant, making it a nice spot for a casual meet-up or a relaxed afternoon. I would certainly suggest this place to others, especially if you have a penchant for desserts. The blend of a comforting atmosphere with a sprinkle of Italian culinary essence makes it a delightful place to spend a leisurely afternoon.

Love Salvatore's but last couple of online pickup orders have been a bit disappointing 😞.. 2mths ago we ordered Fish'n'chips and burgers and they were amazing.. not sure if its a different chef but definitely a change. I hv included pics.

Some gluten-free options, bread baked in-home daily For drinks, you can get coffee, tea, milkshake, fresh fruit juice, beer, red wine, white wine... Ordered a bagel with cream cheese for $12. When I arrived at the beach to enjoy my bagel, i found this in the container (picture attached) I thought that's a bad joke, can't believe it!!! Put a little effort in guys, this is ridiculous, very poor! Terrible hospitality! Not to mention it took them 15 min to throw this in the container, coming to me while waiting and asking what I had ordered again.

Best scrambled eggs I’ve had! They came with that wok hei aroma, truly sedap! But at AUD 20, it’s extremely pricey. The café also serves pastries and cakes alongside cooked food. The chocolate croissant was flaky and delicious, but the coffee (latte and flat white) was just average. I didn’t ask about extra charges for card payments, but since most cafés here add a surcharge, I decided to pay with cash instead.

Absolutely terrible experience. We were overcharged by more than $30, and when we checked the bill, it made no sense at all. The food itself was inedible — everything was either burnt, overcooked, or literally dripping in oil. Nothing tasted fresh. When I got a take away container the oil leaked through the cardboard box onto my shorts during the drive home (ruining them), soaked through 5 pieces of paper towel and made oil puddles on my kitchen bench! I felt sick and sat by the toilet for 20 mins incase I threw up and my sister threw up once she got home. When I called to politely bring this up, the staff were shockingly rude. No apology, no attempt to make it right — they actually hung up on me. I’ve never dealt with such unprofessional behavior from a restaurant. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

Service is very disappointing, we just arrived and sit on chairs and one server came to us want to take a order immediately , after we said we need more time, and than in few minutes later she came again ask to take order again. While she took our order, we ask for her to wipe the table as sticky spots on table and she doesn’t respond to me so I said it again she just look askance at me and nod her head very slightly to me. very rude!!! We order an ice tea and it tastes watered down, and latte tastes like I can make exactly same flavor at home. All of these made us change our mind to have a lunch there.

I placed an order for my husband's birthday cake well in advance, only to find out on the day of pickup that the staff had completely forgotten to pass the order form to the kitchen. It had been left sitting between some files — absolutely unacceptable. How can a business take an order and then fail to deliver it because of such negligence? Imagine if this had been a wedding or another major event — the consequences could have been far worse. This level of disorganisation and lack of accountability is beyond disappointing. It makes me question how this place is even being run. Perhaps the staff are overworked and underpaid, or maybe there’s simply no training or communication in place. Either way, all we received after the chaos was an insincere apology that felt anything but genuine. Thanks to Sweet Brew, my husband’s birthday was ruined. I truly hope this serves as a wake-up call for the business — or that it seriously reevaluates its operations. If not, it’s only a matter of time before more people have experiences like this.

This cafe has established itself as one of the most popular breakfast venues in Darwin, with its great selection for breakfast/brunch/lunch menu. In addition they bake their own delicious breads and pastries on premises, if you’re lucky you might see a stall around the local weekend markets. This versatile venue also cater for evening and weekend functions. Can get very busy on the weekends if you dine-in but takeaway coffee and pastries is quick and easy. Chilli scrambled eggs is my favourite very filling, full of flavours and satisfying. Friendly staff, good customer service and great coffee. The juices of the day is a great alternative, if you don’t drink coffee. You could easily compare it to a trendy Melbourne cafe.

Great little cafe for breakfast/brunch/lunch. A hipster place which caters for vegan and vegetarian customers. The coffee was delightful, food was surprisingly very good, the atmosphere and service were great too. The weekends can get a little busy with parking but it’s worth it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Love their backyard peaceful and quiet with lot shades. A great spot for coffee and a bite. Obsessed with their Baghdad eggs. I hope to see some live music and beer garden style weekends afternoon.

Went in the evening for their wood fired pizza night and it was sooo good! Loved the marinated eggplant pizza with preserved lemon - never tried anything like that before. Gives nightcliff pizza man a run for his money! Of course their usual cafe food and coffee is always amazing.

Staff are friendly and efficient. The setting is artistic. The coffee shop is located near the market. While coffee is great the food I selected was not special and did not have a Waow! Effect. A bit of let down. Put of the way for tourist.

The food was great, could give 5 star for food. (Especially Baghdad eggs) A star lost is due to the table on the stage. It had many open wires and wobbly table. The view, the food and everything else was a great experience. For a successful cafe its really essential to give all table a comfy and cozy atmosphere. I understand all the cozy tables were taken so we were given the table up on stage. Must go for a beautiful weekend brunch.

Rapid Creek Market is all about fresh local produce, with a few food trucks scattered around. Don’t expect crafts or merchandise here—it’s mainly locals from Kings Footworks doing their daily or weekly grocery run. There’s just one stall for coffee and pastries; the rest are mostly Asian street food trucks.

Fresh fresh fresh. Coffee was great. Parking, not great. Some people were sitting in vehicles waiting for a park. No traffic control. Best not to drive in if arriving late and bring a bag for shopp8ng after eating.

This is a must visit on a Saturday or Sunday. Parking is a nightmare though, don’t try to park in the market carpark, you can usually find a spot in the streets nearby. There is a selection of fresh fruit and veggies to purchase at the front and inside. Not market cheap though but assuming fresher than supermarket. We visit for the food in the inner courtyard. If you miss Purple Lady Laksa at Parap Markets on Saturday, you can get your laksa fix on Sunday!! There are a lot of Asian options, the grilled pork balls skewer stand is tasty and there are a few Som Tum (papaya salad) ladies. The one next to purple lady is very good and makes it proper spicy haha Give it a go!

wowee is all i can say to the service provided by the Trader cafe. That evie gal whipped up a sandwich for me and my friend like there was no tomorrow. the love she put into the golden brown toasting of each piece of bread was breathtaking, and i’ll be sure to visit again for another! and that’s not even to mention the carefully curated dollop of mayo placed delicately in the corner of the box. thank you trader, and thank you evie. you’ve out down yourself.

There's nothing more Italian than simple done well. You know the bread game is strong when their schiacciata can hold all that roasted free range chicken and homemade aioli. Ingredients are super fresh and atmosphere is very chilled.

Transportation need to get to this trendy industrial-styled coffee shop. Friendly staff, slightly bitter taste #coffee (yum), food is well presented and filling. Busy industrial area so far park may be a challenge. Good for date, business chats or plain relaxing.

Food is always A1, Coffee depending who makes it but never bad. Cleanest Cafe in Darwin, believe me. Pippa achieves and works really hard for consistency and quality, I know how hard it is in any Cafe with many staff. Brave for maintaining the standard 👌👏👏👏

Good pizza but waiting time is way too long. Waited for an hour and missed the sunset as the result. Owner is rude when asked about the waiting time. Pizza size is only as big as the paper plate and too expensive.

Simple food, gorgeous outdoor ambience. Quality ingredients prepared well. The pizza is consistently fresh and delicious, and dessert (usually a variety of flavoured panna cotta) is a winner too. Come early to get a table, or byo picnic blanket and chairs.

Friendly service, decent coffee and food. It's outside of the Foodcourt which gives it an advantage as it's in a quieter spot outside of big W. The coffee was hot, they even have smiley faces on the bottom of the coffee cups looking up as you drink. It's hard not to get a little happy when you see that. Also their rewards system will get you every fifth coffee free plus a coffee and muffin on your birthday.

No offer to warm up cakes. My daughter had a Duffin and I had a scone. Both tasted stale and would have been better warmed through. The scone in particular was dry and crusty around the edges and doughy in the middle. Not the first bad experience here - even when not busy

The Duffins are still AMAZBALLS!!! But the furniture let it down alot, it was rather rickety, dirty and the leathers seats were ripped. If you want 5 stars your dining area needs to be looked after too.

Service is slow and variety of products is poor! We went there late morning specifically for the Duffin - "giggle, giggle, there's none, everyone keeps asking for them!" Doh, well, why not stock what people want? We finally received our order - the vanilla slice was disgusting (hubby left 3/4 of it) and we weren't given paper napkins with our food. Queue again, no customers ahead of me, but no, we are too busy talking behind the counter. We help ourselves to the napkins, when we finally found them, only to be given the stare of death. We won't be back!

Took them ages to make a small hot chocolate while they were serving other people that came after me. No apology given whatsoever. Cake slice was horrible too. Won't be coming back.

Quaint little cottage,free to go in and has alot of aboriginal arts for a good variety of prices and if you need a water bottle filled up ,they a frre top up and the girls a very friendly and helpful.

A great experience, a good range of food stalls and an amazing sunset to sit and watch. I visited about 12 years ago and these markets seemed to be lacking craft stalls this time, however was a good local experience. We had ice cream and watched some people perform at the stage area which was lovely. Parking was really easy too

28 Sep 2025 // Back at the market before leaving Darwin tomorrow. We got there around 6 pm and spent about 20 minutes finding a parking spot—definitely come early if you’re driving! The Sunday crowd was much bigger compared to Thursday when we first visited. Tried the pork stick (AUD 6) after a long queue—super fatty, juicy, and very salty.. Also grabbed the garlic butter corn cob (AUD 9), and it was amazing! The vendor asked if we wanted salt, I said no, and it was still delicious. Highly recommend eating the corn while it’s hot! 25 Sep 2025 // Came to the market around 4+ and it was already crowded. There’s a wide variety of food — from Chinese to Thai, Mexican, Japanese, Korean and more. We settled for a kebab and a bowl of chicken laksa. The kebab was really good at AUD15. The flatbread was crispy, generously filled with chicken, and the mix of ingredients inside made it delicious. The chicken laksa was less impressive. Coming from Singapore, I found it weak in flavor compared to our spicier version. The Darwin version was sweeter, with a strong coconut taste. It had so much chicken that I could hardly find the noodles. For dessert, I tried the churros in the “must-try” Lotus flavor. It didn’t seem freshly made and wasn’t as crispy as expected. Lotus is definitely sweet — I probably clocked my sugar intake for the whole year with that dessert. I also got 10% off for paying cash at the Laska stall. Credit cards are widely accepted but come with a 1.6–1.9% surcharge, so cash is a better option, even though I usually prefer going cashless.

This is a must visit marketplace with really lovely views out to the sea. The markets are incredibly vibrant with lots of music, food stalls of all varieties and lots of knickknacks and artwork to purchase. Just wondering around the market was very nice and I can understand why this is one of the iconic places to visit while in Darwin.

I always visit the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets while I am in Darwin, as it is always a highlight for me:) The markets run every Thursday and Sunday from 4 pm to 9 pm, during the dry season which is late April through to late October. It does get extremely busy, so the crowds might not be for everyone. But the main attraction is the sunset. The view from Mindil Beach is pretty special; The sun looks bigger here as it sets right over the Arafura sea and you get that uninterrupted horizon. It’s one of those sunsets that really stops you in your tracks. Everyone claps when it is over because it is spectacular! There’s a great mix of street food stalls, local arts and crafts, and live music. I even saw people doing camel rides along the beach as the sun was coming down. Something to note – you can’t bring dogs into the market area, unless it’s a certified assistance dog. It’s a bit of a shame if you’re travelling with your pet, but good to know before you go. In July, the sun sets around 6.30 pm, so it’s worth getting there early to find a good spot, and get a good car park. If you’re visiting Darwin, this is a must-do – especially for that sunset.

This is the most vibrant market I've been to in Australia. An abundance of quality food stalls, with cooking smells wafting across the site. Being able to sit on the sand and watch the sun setting over the water, as you enjoy your meal, is an unforgettable experience. Make sure to allow enough time to park, grab some food and get to the beach, so you don't miss the show! For those into arts, crafts, massage and face painting, you'll not be left wanting, either.

The Mindil Beach Markets are a must-visit — and it’s easy to see why they’re one of Darwin’s top attractions. The atmosphere was incredible, set right by the beach with a stunning sunset over the water that truly added to the magic. There’s a huge variety of food stalls offering global cuisines — from American and Southern European to Southeast Asian and classic Aussie — alongside quirky arts and crafts, all run by local vendors. Supporting NT small businesses made the experience even more meaningful. Live music and whip-cracking demonstrations added to the entertainment, and for something a little different, camel rides along the beach are also available. Facilities were thoughtfully laid out, with toilets at both ends, portable ATMs, and plenty of parking (we Ubered there with no trouble at all). Prices were a little above average, but that’s expected in Darwin. All in all, we had an amazing time — it’s absolutely worth planning your visit around a Thursday or Sunday evening to catch this vibrant, beachside market.

Incredible service - I missed their opening hours on my last day in Darwin having seen a piece I wanted to buy earlier in my trip and couldn't find it on their website. They found the piece that had been rotated to their backroom, created a link for me to buy it through the online shop and shipped it to me with zero issues. Awesome.

Feels fresh. Food looks good. Food tastes amazing even though it may not seam like your taste in food. Has toilets don’t know how clean but if anything like the restaurant they should be clean. Should try at least once

Great cafe if you are in Darwin. Has some bush inspired eats, the little treat pictured was great with a hint of bush plum which provided a nice sourness to offset the marcipan. Would also recommend the roast veggie salad with bush spices.

I ordered on the app for the first time today and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the plant based chicken sushi and waited while I did my shopping. I noticed on the app where it says “order processing” there was no tick. I wanted to go up and ask if it was being prepared but decided not to but also the person working there kept leaving for ages at a time which made me feel like it wasn’t being made. By the time the order was estimated to be done it looked like it was completely empty and left unattended so I waited another 10 minutes and then texted asking for an update on the order status, I didn’t get an answer so my partner called the number and it answered and hung up, he then tried to call 3 more times all immediately hung up on. The number calls him back and then my partner asks for the order to be cancelled. The person on the phone said the order couldn't be cancelled and that he would have to call her manager. My partner asked her to call her manager and tell them to cancel the order. She said she couldn’t and my partner would have to call. After some back and forth my partner gave up and the person on the phone said the manger would call him. The manager who my partner spoke to was very helpful and said he was sorry and that they would cancel the order and refund, he texted after the call to confirm the refund would come through in a few days. Needless to say we left feeling extremely frustrated with the outcome.

Really delicious sushi and udon. My agedashi tofu was nice but not the best iv ever had and the potion was large. The train could have a little bit more variety (but you can order what ever you want) and they could put music on to improve atmosphere. Otherwise great experience and will definitely be eating there again.

A self serve (after hours at least) sushi place located inside Woollies. Only been there lateish in the evening, so a bit hit and miss around what's available. That said the sushi that I have gotten from there has been reasonably tasty, and makes for a better late night takeaway in my opinion.

Arrived 45 minutes before closing time. As we took seats train was turned off. No wait staff spoke to us and we were given dirty looks and no service

The sushi is ok, definitely not great but ok for the price. I really noticed that the Inari zushi, (fried tofu wrapped around rice) really lacked the taste of su(Japanese style vinegar). Teriyaki chicken rolls were ok. Dishes came with soy but no wasabi. Probably a lot closer to a 3.5 star.

Website is unbearable and makes it impossible to order. Going through creating an account, putting together the order and spending 10 minutes doing this for there to be no order slots when they are clearly open. Waste of time. Don’t offer the option if it doesn’t work.

Super rude staff, for no reason. No hello, no eye contact, no acknowledgement, could barely hear him. Took my money for a pie and then attended the next 2 customers… I said sorry mate can I please grab that pie? He just mumbled ‘2minutes’. Very strange.

The thing I enjoy most about all Coffee Clubs is most of the time the staff are awesome and today they really were. All accommodating and attentive to customers. Coffee is always great and the meals are always yum. Price isn’t always so great. I spent more for less than a place I went the morning before. However it’s on par nationwide so no fault of the store itself.

Popular eatery during the day with shoppers and local businesses. Indoor aircon or el fresco dining available. On this visit, I chose the roast pumpkin salad with haloumi, poached egg, cherry tomatoes, spinach and tortilla chips. The sweet potato was undercooked and hard. The haloumi while warm was not toasty and a boring rubbery blob. The tortilla chips were absent and only came when requested bit they were disappointing too.Coffee Club you can do better.

The food was delicious and what I believe was well priced, however it took a long time for us to receive our food. Understandable it was busy but a professional organisation like the coffee club should know that they get busy and should accommodate for these busy hours. The skip the queue QR code at the table was get but I had to use my card, there was no other option. I think it would have been even better if it could link to my PayPal. Luckily my missus had her card on her or else we would have been lining up 28 people deep.

Just popped in for a quick coffee and a smoothie, the coffee was great not to strong. Smoothie was pretty good, asked for a Mango Smoothie but they only do a Mango passion fruit. Staff could be a bit more accommodating, overall service was good. A nice cafe near the waterfront, watched the sunrise from outside, great atmosphere and a great cafe. I Would recommend you pop in, great for a quick coffee or anything from breakfast to lunch.

Went for brunch on a Sunday morning, sat down looking at the menus, being clearly obvious that we were going to order food. Went to order at the counter and was told “sorry, we’re not doing food, it’s too long of a wait”. Even though there was almost as many staff as customers. Clearly useless and incompetent. Recommend going somewhere else, as the food and coffee is standard fair at best anyway, was only going there for convenience. They lack that as well.

Absolutely useless, we arrived at 11.15 and when it was time to order they advise that they are not taking food orders because they already have a backup of lunch orders and can’t cope with anymore. Mind you the restaurant was hardly full and there was probably as many staff as customers. So we moved next door to Lime Cafe and they are more than happy to feed us. If there was a no star option that’s what I would of chosen.

I recently visited Lime Café on the Esplanade in the Darwin waterfront Precinct for a quick breakfast and coffee. The location is quite relaxing, with a lovely view of the grass and water, making for a pleasant atmosphere. While the café has received some negative reviews in the past, I was pleased to find that my experience was quite positive. The service was good, and the quality of my meal was satisfying. My only suggestion would be that the presentation of my dish could have been elevated with a bit more attention to detail. However, the flavors were exceptional, and I would definitely order it again. The coffee was enjoyable, and the smoothie I had was refreshing. Overall, I would happily return for both the meal and the calming vibe of the café.

Indeed to expensive for what you get... $28 for the vegan stack... 3 pieces of pumpkin, eggplant, zucchini and pepper,.which has been very oily plus only a tiny slice of bread. Very sad, because the coffee was good and the boys working front of house has been friendly, too.

Do not waste your time and money at this place. Visited Lime Cafe Darwin yesterday for lunch, expecting the same wonderful service and food I had experienced over my holiday beautiful Darwin. Not so. Disappointing, will remember this as THE WORST experience I have EVER had at a cafe or restaurant, anywhere! We had been waiting almost an hour for a salad and wrap. After enquiring about the delay, only one of the 2 meals ordered came out. A wilted chicken avo salad which you would not eat. After having waited so long, I politely asked the female owner for my money back as still waiting for the wrap and was not happy with the salad which had been literally thrown down in front of me. I was subsequently abused by the female owner/manager with her literally waving the receipt in my face and her pointing to the time of my order printed on it. She launched into an abusive tirade for all to hear, yelling at me that I had not been waiting an hour but only 55 minutes and that in a tourist area I should expect this. Earlier, a request to switch on ceiling fans because of heat and flies was denied and the remote was thrown at me for me to turn on as she said they were too busy making coffees. Gobsmacked, on reflection, I should have known to leave at that earlier point. Diners were left astonished by this woman’s disgusting display and many came to ensure I was ok and walked out of the cafe as my husband and I did. Please don’t give this place your time and money. Appalling behaviour, no service, overpriced food.

Was looking forward to the advertised bacon and egg roll. Was given two slices of bread with a very over cooked and rubbery fried egg and minimal bacon Staff did not understand basic English and manager/owner scowled when communicating with staff and customers 1st photo is what was advertised 2 nd photo what was ‘served’

You’re paying for the location and view. The açai bowl was watered down and tasted bland and the size doesn’t match with the price AT ALL.

Honestly, really poor. It took 30 mins to make muesli. How? I ordered a croissant. It looked nothing like the picture, it was a Cole’s home brand thing that had been thrown in the microwave for 30s. It was soggy. Coffee was very average. All this for $50. Just avoid.

Coffee came out running first. It taste great. I ordered the Club Sandwich. I waited for 30 mins. Typically, in other outlet the service is faster. I guess it due to influx of orders in a small window. The sandwich is nice. The chips is tasty and crispy. A good place to chill while waiting for my delayed flight.

If I could rate it minus stars I would. Took over 20min to receive a regular take away coffee and a fruit salad, which looked like baby vomit. Appalling service and staff weren't friendly at all.

After waiting 20 minutes (because they forgot) I got the worlds nastiest banana smoothie that was a lot more mango and ice than banana (didn’t know it had mango in!) .. totally overpriced ($9) and wouldn’t be here if there were other options, in saying that the replacement was made by a young Chinese chick who was super helpful and made a great ( full banana) replacement. She was the only reason that Dome didn’t get 1 star!

Closed until further notice. Dome is everyone's local stop for a cuppa, sad to see it closed . Also sad that rice bags are used as lanterns. Darwin airport can afford something better.

Understaffed over priced. Takes 15 minutes waiting in queue for the only cashier to take your order. Orders backed up can’t get a hot breakfast before my flight. About 10 people milling around waiting for coffee. The prices charged you would expect something fantastic but always mediocre. To the management you need more staff. You have a sign out front promising great quick service. It took 10 mins of waiting in queue for me to reach it then another 5 to get served. If anywhere else was open I would not be here

Decor and atmosphere are lovely but the food is way below average. I order a $21 Eggs Benedict and ham. Bread was not toasted, tomato uncooked, eggs over cooked not really runny, food was leakwarm not hot, portions were not generous. Mango smoothie was alright but very runny not how picture in menu.

Best food at the Darwin airport. High quality food as well. I had Greek Salad with lamb and it’s was the best salad I ever had. It tastes very fresh. Great seats for long waits. Coffee very strong as well. So 5 Stars guys
