Serviced accommodation
Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel is a modern high-rise hotel located in the heart of Darwin CBD, offering stunning views of the city and Darwin Harbour. The accommodation includes contemporary hotel rooms and one or two-bedroom apartments with modern decor and quality finishes. The hotel follows strict sanitation and safety procedures to ensure guests' peace of mind during their stay. Guests can enjoy on-site leisure facilities such as an outdoor pool, fitness center, and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Had a great stay for 4 nights. Central location with friendly staff and great services. Restaurant available at the groujd floor. There are gym, laundry and pool facilities within the hotel. You can witness some amazing views from the rooms.

Booked for three nights. Room was big enough and the view was good. However, I gave it 2 stars due to the terrible service provided by the Indian lady with super strong accent at the reception - I booked a room with a large bed, and when she checked me in, I confirmed with her that I booked for a LARGE BED, but when I got into the room, it was a room with two single beds. Btw there was no housekeeping during my entire stay.
Lily — Google review
Great water view can watch the boats go by. Room is nice bed is very comfortable. Nice little kitchen area with a large fridge, microwave, small oven/griller. Washing machine and dryer too. Coffee nespresso machine with 6 coffees to start and other normal coffee and tea sachets. Shower is reasonable size.
K L — Google review
It's not a new hotel but it's been maintained well. The apartment which we stayed for 4 nights is clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped. I'm so grateful for their impressive customer service - we had to check-out in the morning before we headed to the last day of the conference, then we had to get changed to attend the gala dinner. The staff were so helpful and hospitable to let us use the shower at the pool area in the afternoon & loaned us towels so we can get ready for the gala. As a comparison, our friend who stayed at The Hilton was told that she could get changed in the toilet. The impeccable service did not come from a specific staff; it came from ALL of the staff - it's like they have been trained to extend caring gestures which is a privilege these days, so thank you so much to all the staff at Oaks Elan Darwin!! PS: if you have any question prior to your stay, don't email, just call them.

Stayed for two nights in October. I cannot believe this is a 4 star hotel! There was an absolutely awful musty smell in my room..the hall ways have stone floors and noisy. The best place is the restaurant in this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again.
Ann S — Google review
We had a two bedroom Harbour View apartment. Check-in took a while - I would say a good 10 minutes from arrival to being greeted/served at reception. They gave us all a bottle of complimentary water. The pool was really cold and unbearable. Of course, it's dry season, so I should've expected that, but the steps leading into the pool were very slippery. I couldn't work out if it was the finish of the stairs or if it was mould build up. Despite there being a rail, I couldn't help but think how an older person may go getting in and out of the pool. When we walked into the apartment, there was a very strong mouldy smell. I'm not sure if the apartment above has a water leak, but each time we walked out and came back in the apartment, had the same strong mouldy smell. The beds were extremely comfortable to sleep in with nice pillows, in saying this I did notice that when lifting the quilt and flat sheet up that there was quite a lot of hair all over the mattress, indicating the sheets were not clean. One bedroom fan was working as it should, and the other bedroom fan was on its way out. It was running very slow with minimal airflow. The shower gets luke warm and doesn't get hot . I feel like Oaks Darwin has really gone downhill to when I first stayed there not long after it was built. The outside windows were also pretty filthy. It's not what I was expecting for the price we paid. The lift also had a number of issues where our room cards struggled to register to be able to select our floor. I don't think I'll be likely to stay here again, unfortunately.
Lesty 8 — Google review
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and arrived to be given a single hotel room for 6 nights. They offered to open up an adjoining door to make it 2 hotel rooms but not what we booked. Took a very long time for them to give us the room we booked and paid for with a lot of arguing it was the same as a 2 bedroom apartment- it was not! Our correct unit was a lot bigger had a laundry etc. it felt pretty scammy to basically lie to me and say this is what we booked. We also ordered a breakfast pack which wasn’t in the room and that became an issue because they had no small cereal packs and gave us a box of Just Right which we advised was not what was ordered and not what we would eat and could they replace it with another option to be told no - twice until the third time I went and saw the restaurant manager who gave me a different cereal. So simple yet so difficult seemingly for them to do! They also never credited the stay against my membership despite saying they did! Also the pool has no sunlight on it and the water is freezing even on 30 degree days! Would not stay again!

Have really loved staying here. Great views higher up, pool was nice, rooms comfortable. The apartment has everything you need and staff are super friendly

Seafood restaurant
If you're a seafood lover, "Seafood on Cullen" is an absolute must-visit destination that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This casual buffet restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat feast featuring a vast selection of fresh seafood and succulent meats, all while you enjoy stunning water views from the terrace. Imagine indulging in everything from oysters to prawns, alongside perfectly grilled steaks, as you soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
Great buffet in Darwin right on the water. Amazing sunsets to be seen here. Food is really great quality and a great selection. Chinese, chilli crab, oyster, the list goes on. Definitely a good night out and great prices for kids my 5 yr old was only 10 dollars. Definitely worth coming for a visit. Just look out for the people who clear the oysters in one go leaving none for others and do it over and over again. The prawns were top quality.
Daniel T — Google review
The crabs and prawns were not that fresh and the oysters were too small…. But it’s good that you can have different types of food at one time. Lambs are the best and then calamari. The sunset worth 20 dollars.
Yihan L — Google review
At $52.50 per person, this buffet offers remarkable value, considering the abundance of fresh seafood. The prawns, oysters, and crab were fresh and continuously replenished. The seafood alone makes the price worthwhile for seafood lovers. The buffet also features a diverse selection of cuisines from asian dishes to steaks and duck, there's something for everyone. They even cater to simpler tastes with options like chicken nuggets and fries - perfect if you're dining with kids. The setting provides flexible dining experiences depending on your preference. The outdoor seating area offers spectacular sunset views that enhance the dining experience considerably. Alternatively, the spacious indoor dining room provides air-conditioned comfort for those hot and humid nights. While not a five-star fine dining establishment (and it doesn't pretend to be), the atmosphere reminds me of a cruise ship buffet - casual, abundant, and focused on variety rather than refinement. What it lacks in elegance, it makes up for in choice and quality. The restaurant clearly has a strong reputation in the area, attracting both locals and tourists - always a good sign for a dining establishment. If you're looking for an affordable feast with plenty of fresh seafood in a relaxed setting, this buffet delivers excellent bang for your buck.
Martin P — Google review
Food is good value for the buffet price. Some dishes were really great, others not so. Service was average. Had to ask twice to order wine and then they brought over the wrong one. Hard to find napkins at times. The sunset over the beach was the best part of the atmosphere.
Selina P — Google review
3.5 overall for the atmosphere. What's not to like about an ocean view. Food was good but I'm not big on buffet style. Table service was okay but we had to keep trying to get the attention of the staff as they seemed to ignore without making it obvious. The pariots were being noisy as well.
Nathaniel L — Google review
Loved Seafood on Cullen. Gorgeous area to have a buffet meal, watch the sunset, enjoy warm night and we were lucky to be there on Territory Day. Fabulous fireworks display
Judith T — Google review
Overall nice, we showed up with only an hour left (we didn’t realise this until we got there), and so it felt like a rush to eat our dinners worth (completely our fault not the restaurants), but most foods were replenished which was great, but not all. Food was good, not fresh, but for the price and buffet style you can’t expect it to all be fresh. Only downside was that every time we left the table staff went and collected anything they thought was dirty or unusable. So we had to remember to keep getting more napkins and cutlery which just felt a little wasteful and a little rushed. Overall a good dinner! And we are still glad we went :)
Alice — Google review
The buffet offers a nice variety, and for the price, it's quite satisfactory. There's a good mix of seafood, Asian, and Western dishes. Plus, the view of the sunset over the water is truly lovely.

Mindil Beach Casino Resort is a luxurious accommodation option in Darwin, offering over 150 rooms for both leisure and business travelers. The resort features a bustling casino, multiple restaurants, bars, and pools, as well as a day spa. Situated on 30 acres of tropical gardens by the Arafura Sea, it provides stunning sunset views over Mindil Beach. Guests can enjoy gambling at the casino until the early hours and then relax on the private white-sand beach in the morning.
My partner & I had a wonderful time at the Casino resort. It was the staff who truly made our experience relaxing and care free. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to do all the little things that make our stay carefree. It was such a treat to order room service & enjoy the view. Our ocean view room had a beautiful view of the sunset too. It was also quiet in the rooms & felt like our own little oasis!
Chloe S — Google review
The hotel itself and room was really well placed, incredible view of Mindil Beach😍. They did not properly clean the bath tub after the last guests, so that was not great to discover. A quick sweep/vaccuum of the room while they serviced the room would not have gone amiss either. Brought it up and they were very gracious. Everything else was amazing. Made a point to swim in either of their epic swimming pools when i could. Would stay here again.
Lory C — Google review
Stayed for 5 nights. The room is never made up before 330pm - "there aren't enough staff" was the excuse The key to my room didn't work - after dinner. waited and waited. went back to reception and finally one of the managers came to "change the battery" in the door and told me it wasn't his problem he was just one of the "workers" it s great location but a 2 star hotel at best would recommend staying up in the CBD along the esplanade
Hugh N — Google review
I booked a lagoon pool access room through a Booking agent but they selected the wrong room so I went straight to the hotel reception to advise them it was wrong room, called the booking agent and they paid the extra as a room was vacant in a balcony lagoon view room for my stay unfortunately pool access all booked out - also side note book through mindil beach direct website to ensure you get the correct room, the hotel reception gave me 2 free drinks vouchers to apologise for the error. The reception, pool, cleaning and room service staff were all amazing and my room was beautiful couldn’t fault it definitely if you go, spend the extra for a lagoon room. Food and drinks were reasonable priced and the pools both infinity and lagoon pool beautiful - relaxing, definitely also book at the lagoon day spa treatment was amazing.
Brittani-Ann H — Google review
Despite its promise, we found most things about this hotel disappointing. As an older building, the rooms are echoey, and with tiles rather than carpets, it is very difficult not to hear your neighbours. Whilst some noise is to be expected, hearing your neighbours snore suggests the soundproofing is inadequate. It probably did not help that we were put in an interconnected room, with a single door separating us from our neighbours. I will never understand why hotels don’t separate guests by one room when they have the opportunity to do so! As the hotel is part of the casino complex which is open until 4am, noise is a constant and is not conducive to a good night’s sleep! On the positive front, the facilities at this hotel are excellent. The lagoon resort pool is open to hotel guests and this was the highlight of our stay. It has the only swim up bar in Darwin (apparently) and a beach area which is great for some down time. Unfortunately, the other hotel pool is open to the public at weekends and takes on a Bali beach club vibe with a resident DJ. Other things of note are that the food we had in the sports bar of the casino was not up to Darwin’s usual culinary standards, and the plumbing could do with some attention (the least we should expect is a functioning flush for the toilet!!!!). Overall, this hotel promised so much but was ultimately disappointing, especially having stayed at the Vibe/Adina at the Waterfront earlier in the week for a much better price and experience.

Thank you to all the lovely staff for the best holiday ever We stayed in the resort lagoon king room and it was pure magic. Food at the Vue was great . Do yourself a favour and book this holiday. I don't understand the low reviews. Breakfast included was fabulous. Staff so friendly and welcoming. We will be back. !

Spacious and clean room to stay for the weekend. Heaps of complimentary as territorians. Extra complimentary to celebrate my partner's birthday. It's worth the price and the facility. Thank you mindil resort! ♥️
Niluh R — Google review
Date of event: 9/10/2025 My partner and I entered the building and headed to the reception to enquire where the pool entrance was. Before the lady on reception could respond to me, the security woman stood outside the casino door came over in a very rude manor to tell me I couldn’t be here “like this” and needed to get a tshirt on. (For reference I was wearing shorts, crocs, a bikini top and towel around my shoulder)she kept repeating over and over in a tone that I needed to get a top on. (All whilst I was getting my top on). The receptionist apologised for her behaviour, and directed us to the pool. As the receptionist was explaining the details of the pool, the security guard (Marina I think her name was) was still stood behind me rabbiting on to her colleague “she can’t come in like that”. I turned around to say “why are you still going on, I’ve put my tshirt on and there was no signage to state I couldn’t be at reception without a top on I was simply asking for directions”. She was in a huff and puff and continued to have a tone. I explained it’s a good job we wasn’t looking to book a night here as the first interaction was terrible!!!! Not what you expect for such a high end resort. That’s no way to treat guests. Props to the receptionist, she was fully capable of doing her job without the security guard coming over. On the other hand, the pool was great

Nestled in the picturesque Cullen Bay Marina, Boatshed Coffee House offers a delightful dining experience with its prime waterfront views and delectable menu. The chic eatery is renowned for its seafood platters, generous breakfast options like the Fatty Boomba, and bowls of coffee. Families are drawn to the on-site kids playroom and free fish-feeding from the deck, making it an ideal spot for parents.
Such a beautiful cafe. The wait staff were the nicest people I have ever met in a food service role. They were friendly, attentive and their overall attitude was lovely to be around. The food came out quickly and tasted great. A very nice iced coffee was made and the view of the marina makes for the perfect breakky spot. 10/10!

Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My friend and I visited Boatshed for the first time and were seriously impressed! We had the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale — both were absolutely delicious. The soft brioche was a standout and paired perfectly with everything. Coffee was spot-on, and the waterside seating with views of the boatyard made the experience even better. Toilets were clean too. Only downside was the long queue to order — took over 20 minutes and made the hallway a bit cramped. But surprisingly, our food and drinks came out within 5–10 minutes, and the staff were fantastic. You can bring your pet. Overall, 5/5. Will definitely be back! Suggestion: Add QR code ordering to speed things up and ease the congestion.

Nice and cool place to dine during dry season. If you can’t finish your toast, take it down to the pier to feed the fish.

Breakfast was on our menu today. We ordered Bonnie Stack. Very nice. We loved the big coffee cups, so if coffee is your go-to, order one. They have a bin near the door with bread for feeding the fish near the jetty.

Beautiful day on the boardwalk, friendly customer service on ordering, very quick service of coffee and cake. Not the nicest coffee and the cake was stodgy and unpleasant. I ve visited before and will have food here again, hopefully was just a good day.

Recently attended a 2 day conference workshop at the Darwin Hilton. great location, the food was delicious and abundance of it. Our food and beverage attendants were magnificent. They were extremely attentive, very polite and catered for all our needs - above and beyond. Day 2 attendant was Gaurav, sorry forgot the name of day 1 attendant. Both men were so helpful and happy. We felt so welcome. Well done to the staff :)

Great location in Darwin, close to everything. Lovely sea views from the upper floors. Rooms and corridors and lobby all recently refurbished. Clean and simple. Bathrooms basic but fine. Swimming pool and gym not updated recently. All in all great hotel in Darwin as a clean friendly base to explore the city.
James B — Google review
Hilton Darwin is a well-located hotel right in the heart of the city, close to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely views from the higher floors. Staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Breakfast has a wide variety of options, and the restaurant serves quality meals. The pool and gym are well-maintained, making it easy to relax or stay active. While some areas of the hotel feel a little dated, the excellent service and central location make it a great choice for both business and leisure stays.
Shankar P — Google review
Great hotel in the centre of Darwin. I attended a conference and stayed 5 nights in total. Close to everything and excellent as a base. This is definitely the best Hilton in Darwin. (Be aware the 'other' one isnt so great...) The staff all went above and beyond. I loved the thoughtful text received shortly after I checked in from Oswaldo asking if I was happy with everything. He was incredibly helpful with a range of things, including returning everything I forgot in my room following my 4AM checkout!. The breakfasts are excellent, with the usual choices of fruit, eggs cooked to order and decent proper coffee. I paid for the harbour view room, which wasn't that much more. It was worth the extra dollars to wake up to that view each morning. Great choice at an affordable price point. Thank you Hilton anbd your staff.
Anthony S — Google review
Just a superb hotel with amazing views of the harbour. Beautiful room, very comfortable beds. A teeny problem was the doors closing in other rooms late at night woke me up. Surely a hotel like this should have doors that close slowly and quietly. The guest across from us always came in late like 1am, banged their door and woke me up and then had the privacy sign on the door handle all day. Guessing they're staff - manager. Please close your door quietly!
Judith W — Google review
This was my second hotel in Darwin and I enjoyed it more than the Mercure. The hotel is old but it’s been refreshed and looks ok. Room was very spacious and had a nice view. The lifts are slow. Location is good, very central. Overall, pretty happy staying here.
Vincent B — Google review
I had a long stay with Darwin Hilton on Mitchell street, service overall was good. Eating at the restaurant can be a little expensive, if your staying for an extensive stay. Food is excellent, enjoyed breakfast when i could, great variety and will cook what you want. Rooms are well presented and I was happy with my stay.
Frances C — Google review
As a Hilton Diamond member, I was really underwhelmed with this stay. No upgrade, just a standard room next to the lift with a lousy view. Nothing about the service stood out as going above and beyond. Check-in set the tone — total chaos, like walking into a Dance Moms convention with Honey Boo Boo and JonBenét Ramsey lookalikes running wild. Not exactly the calm welcome you’d expect from a Hilton. The pool is in serious need of a revamp (see photos) — tired, small, and not at all what you’d expect from a Hilton charging premium rates. By contrast, I’d just spent three nights at the DoubleTree for half the price and had a far better experience. The worst part was departure day. With a late-night flight, I asked if I could use the lounge to refresh or send emails after a day trip to Litchfield. At every other Hilton I’ve stayed at, this has been a simple yes. Here, it was a hard no. I ended up going back to the DoubleTree, where they were far more accommodating (and frankly kinder). The one highlight was Gabriel in the lounge — genuinely excellent service, and he makes a fantastic whiskey sour. A small bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay. Breakfast itself was good, but honestly, not enough to outweigh the rest. Overall: not worth it. Skip Hilton and book the DoubleTree — friendlier staff, better value, and a much more enjoyable stay.

From delectable Hong Kong dishes to Greek souvlaki, paella, burgers, and delightful desserts like ice cream and sorbet, there's something for every palate. Operating weekly from April to October, this market not only serves up mouthwatering meals but also showcases unique Aboriginal art pieces for those looking to take home a piece of culture.
I really enjoyed my 2 hours here and the Korean food I had, which was excellent, with lots of other national foods available. Certainly vibrant, and crowded, but parking was easy and plentiful, at least earlier in the evening. You can’t take a dog into the market, a shame but which is probably for the best as it was packed. The sunsets are fantastic to watch from here and even better from the vantage points on the dunes. It’s worth going to whilst on you travels

A great experience, a good range of food stalls and an amazing sunset to sit and watch. I visited about 12 years ago and these markets seemed to be lacking craft stalls this time, however was a good local experience. We had ice cream and watched some people perform at the stage area which was lovely. Parking was really easy too

28 Sep 2025 // Back at the market before leaving Darwin tomorrow. We got there around 6 pm and spent about 20 minutes finding a parking spot—definitely come early if you’re driving! The Sunday crowd was much bigger compared to Thursday when we first visited. Tried the pork stick (AUD 6) after a long queue—super fatty, juicy, and very salty.. Also grabbed the garlic butter corn cob (AUD 9), and it was amazing! The vendor asked if we wanted salt, I said no, and it was still delicious. Highly recommend eating the corn while it’s hot! 25 Sep 2025 // Came to the market around 4+ and it was already crowded. There’s a wide variety of food — from Chinese to Thai, Mexican, Japanese, Korean and more. We settled for a kebab and a bowl of chicken laksa. The kebab was really good at AUD15. The flatbread was crispy, generously filled with chicken, and the mix of ingredients inside made it delicious. The chicken laksa was less impressive. Coming from Singapore, I found it weak in flavor compared to our spicier version. The Darwin version was sweeter, with a strong coconut taste. It had so much chicken that I could hardly find the noodles. For dessert, I tried the churros in the “must-try” Lotus flavor. It didn’t seem freshly made and wasn’t as crispy as expected. Lotus is definitely sweet — I probably clocked my sugar intake for the whole year with that dessert. I also got 10% off for paying cash at the Laska stall. Credit cards are widely accepted but come with a 1.6–1.9% surcharge, so cash is a better option, even though I usually prefer going cashless.

This is a must visit marketplace with really lovely views out to the sea. The markets are incredibly vibrant with lots of music, food stalls of all varieties and lots of knickknacks and artwork to purchase. Just wondering around the market was very nice and I can understand why this is one of the iconic places to visit while in Darwin.

I always visit the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets while I am in Darwin, as it is always a highlight for me:) The markets run every Thursday and Sunday from 4 pm to 9 pm, during the dry season which is late April through to late October. It does get extremely busy, so the crowds might not be for everyone. But the main attraction is the sunset. The view from Mindil Beach is pretty special; The sun looks bigger here as it sets right over the Arafura sea and you get that uninterrupted horizon. It’s one of those sunsets that really stops you in your tracks. Everyone claps when it is over because it is spectacular! There’s a great mix of street food stalls, local arts and crafts, and live music. I even saw people doing camel rides along the beach as the sun was coming down. Something to note – you can’t bring dogs into the market area, unless it’s a certified assistance dog. It’s a bit of a shame if you’re travelling with your pet, but good to know before you go. In July, the sun sets around 6.30 pm, so it’s worth getting there early to find a good spot, and get a good car park. If you’re visiting Darwin, this is a must-do – especially for that sunset.

This is the most vibrant market I've been to in Australia. An abundance of quality food stalls, with cooking smells wafting across the site. Being able to sit on the sand and watch the sun setting over the water, as you enjoy your meal, is an unforgettable experience. Make sure to allow enough time to park, grab some food and get to the beach, so you don't miss the show! For those into arts, crafts, massage and face painting, you'll not be left wanting, either.

The Mindil Beach Markets are a must-visit — and it’s easy to see why they’re one of Darwin’s top attractions. The atmosphere was incredible, set right by the beach with a stunning sunset over the water that truly added to the magic. There’s a huge variety of food stalls offering global cuisines — from American and Southern European to Southeast Asian and classic Aussie — alongside quirky arts and crafts, all run by local vendors. Supporting NT small businesses made the experience even more meaningful. Live music and whip-cracking demonstrations added to the entertainment, and for something a little different, camel rides along the beach are also available. Facilities were thoughtfully laid out, with toilets at both ends, portable ATMs, and plenty of parking (we Ubered there with no trouble at all). Prices were a little above average, but that’s expected in Darwin. All in all, we had an amazing time — it’s absolutely worth planning your visit around a Thursday or Sunday evening to catch this vibrant, beachside market.

A must do experience if you're in Darwin. Relaxed vibe of a top end market in the warmer drier climates of Darwin There are a lot of different food stalls to taste while you're here at Mindil Beach Night Markets. The freshly cut mangoes taste beautiful,

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing 7 days here. From our late arrival, Bret checked us in and was very happy even though it was 2.00 am. Everything was perfect during our stay. From the reception desk too the house keeping staff, breakfast restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. We are definitely booking in again very soon. Thank you Zen staff.

A top place to stay in Darwin. Nice rooms, great views, very clean and well maintained. Roof top bar is a great spot for an evening. Overall though, what was outstanding was the staff. Without exception, they were all friendly, professional, incredibly helpful as I changed my stay dates etc. I spent a couple of weeks there this time around. It was faultless

These apartments offer so much more than just your everyday accommodation. Amazing 16 th floor with roof top bar you witness sunsets with 360 degree views of Darwin. Fabulous drinks & nibbles up there too. Opens 3 -9 pm so you can see Darwin in all her glory from daylight to darkness. Cafe on 3rd floor serves such good breakfasts along with healthy takeaways if wanted. The common areas are all spotless, gorgeous staff. You can walk to the public bus terminal. You can walk to the waterfront.

Very happy with our stay and the service. Was surprised to receive complementary beverage on arrival (not just water!) AND we received a drink voucher each for the roof top bar. Plus parking is free. All this on top of a well priced room makes it feel very very good value for money. Roof top bar is awesome, best one in Darwin.

I was here for an extended stay in late 2024 and early 2025. The studio style room was great for me, I had the disabled room so had a decent sized bathroom which was great. It also came with a table, desk and couch with a tiny TV. Housekeeping was okay, but sometimes they would leave my fresh towels on the stove... 😞😜 The room itself was fine, clean and did the job. It had a great view of the harbour. The hotel lifts at times could take forever, which was annoying when you had to leave for work! The breakfast offered by the hotel is a shocker, the meals are not cooked to order. Instead they are just re-heated. The portions are small and overall it is disappointing. The coffee was great and they would wanna be for $7 a mug! The gym needs a mega facelift, most of my colleagues signed up for gym memberships elsewhere during their stay, it was that bad. The pool is great, not that I used it but it looked awesome from the balcony, especially at night. Car parking is free - on the weekends it can be a challenge to find a car park. Wyndham Diamond Member inclusions were limited. Some of my other colleagues received 1 bedroom apartments who were not members, so I would say that Wyndham Diamond members do not get their benefits at this hotel. Free snacks every night on the rooftop bar which was a great inclusion. Tap beer prices were a bit excessive in comparison to other venues in the area. Great views especially during sunset and when storms are rolling in. They never had the AFL/NRL live on the TV, we always had to request it. Brett and Peter (I think its Peter?) the night managers are great ambassadors for the Ramada brand and your hotel. 10-minute walk to city centre or use one of the scooters that are available at reception, there is a cost and is activated by the app on your phone. I would stay here again. If the breakfast improved it would be one of the leading hotels in Darwin and it should be operating under the Ramada banner.

Great place, clean room, nice view, and the pool’s awesome. Had breakfast at the cafe, food was good and service was great. Big shoutout to Nadia, she was super friendly and really made the morning better. Would stay here again for sure.

Had a savoury mince for breakfast, way too spicy and I couldn't eat it, when the staff noticed, immediately offered another breakfast and apologised, Nadia was very professional and quickly gave me another breakfast. Impressed by this exceptional service and how they look after their customers. Highly recommend this place for a Darwin stay.

Mantra Pandanas Darwin is a high-rise hotel that offers a mix of hotel services and apartment space. It provides various room options, including suites and apartments, along with amenities such as a restaurant, bar, outdoor pool, spa, and gym. The hotel's modern decor and sleek vibes make it an attractive choice for visitors. Conveniently located in the CBD near popular attractions like Smith Street Mall and the Mitchell Street Restaurant Precinct, it also boasts sweeping views of the city and harbor.
Right in the heart of the city, walking distance to e everything you need - supermarket, post office, great little cafes, the mall. It's clean, neat and tidy. The elevators work nicely and the rooms are cosy - we have stayed here a few times over the years and tried a few different rooms, so far they have all come with washing machines and driers and kitchenettes with fridge and microwave. There is secure parking on site (extra charge).

Average and very basic hotel. We had a deluxe suit on level 17. Views if all the roof tops. Comfortable, but definitely nothing fancy. Pool is poor. 2 Loungers for the entire hotel and the pool is very old and dated. Infinity area overlooking dirty rooftops. Fitness area advertised is non existent. Some of the reception staff are quite rude, however, most are helpful.
Louise C — Google review
Rooms well appointed and the staff are friend helpful. WiFi is mediocre. Having to retrieve a towel from 1st floor reception for the sixth floor pool is a pain. The state of the gym here is appalling. The treadmill makes unholy noises, specifically when used and the stationary bike is in such disrepair that if it was my car I would pull over get out and set it on fire. No mirrors, no water, and I would consider some of the equipment to be simply unsafe. There clearly not been a lick of maintenance here in years and is a simply depressing room to be in. Not great vibe for a room with a lot of high attachment points.

We are gold members however, I requested an early check in which didn’t happen but we are entitled to. There were no instructions regarding the internet. I had to ring reception. No instruction on how to operate the TV, that was trial and error. Also as gold members we did not receive our welcoming drink. This lifts smell as do the halls. The carpet needs to be replaced. We use Accor frequently and I would have to say this is the worst Accor hotel we have been in and that includes overseas. Will not recommend this hotel or stay here again. Accordingly you need to address this hotel.

We were fortunate to have an apartment on the 8th level with direct lift access to basement carpark. Although the aircon temperature is non adjustable, with only high & low switch, we still enjoyed a very comfortable self contained apartment with washer/dryer & dishwasher etc appliances. In particular, a very comfortable bed. Also the welcome drink & bonus treats are awesome. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Terrible start had a very late/early check-in 1.30am no record of us arriving even though we had checked by phone the day before our flight eventually get to our 1brm apartment 2.30am, very musty smell but otherwise OK. The big problem is if you have a room at the rear of the hotel you are subject to unrelenting thumping disco/house music from 9.00am till 10.00pm from the Youth hostel which faces the back of the hotel, you cannot drown it out by turning the tv volume right up. Never ever take a city view room it is criminal to be paying for a peaceful holiday. I am not against loud music but not at the expense of everybody else. Hotel management do absolutely nothing even asking for a room change will never stay here again ruined what should have been a great holiday. I would like to point out after a change of staff on the reception (Alana) the following day we were afforded a room change to the opposite end of the hotel which helped save the day, thankyou.
Richard I — Google review
Our first room, which was for a 5 night stay, was very noisy, we left for a one night stay at Kakadu and before we left we asked to be moved on our return which was for another 4 nights, because the noise was relentless, doof doof which meant we couldn’t really have our balcony door open.We were moved two doors along and despite our reservations we were reassured it would be quieter, it was not. We requested a front facing room to get away from the noise but were told it would be $85 per night extra. I think we should have been warned by the hotel or flight center, who we booked through, about the noise. The rooms weren’t really clean. We had to request someone to come and clean the dust and mould off the ceiling and air cond vents in out first room, when he moved the bed to reach the air cond vents it was clear it hadn’t been vacuumed under for a long time. Our second room was a bit cleaner but the exhaust fan and vents could still have done with a vaccuum and I found a previous guest’s hair clasp when I moved the case stand. Some of the staff were nice enough but one in particular was downright unresponsive to our concerns. It was handy having a kitchenette and laundry but I would not stay here again although it was convenient to shops. There have been food scraps in the hall all day, also I forgot to mention the art work in the halls is moldy and there is a cat with 2 half grown kittens living in the car park and nobody seems to be cleaning up cat poo. Also it is $19 a day for parking which we weren’t aware of.
Cynthia W — Google review
Linen & bed was clean. Bathroom was full of mould. Internet wifi was a jog, no security , so 2000s, less than 2Mbs on a good day. Staff friendly, lifts quick, shower head the best so far in Darwin but forget trying it to cook in your room as no ventilation and fire alarm goes off regularly when people cook (see the pics). Oh balcony door doesn’t lock and only serviced once a week for a $500+ night single room apartment. Definitely the worst I’ve stayed in over the last 12 months. Surely there is some quality standards in Darwin, total cowboy quality for the money. Oh the AC didn’t work under 26C in the lounge room and the bedroom a minimum of 22C. Seriously, how hard is it to provide a quality service that I’m paying for?? Let’s hope that next time I’m forced to stay here that the quality is upto the premium day rate?
Paul T — Google review
It is a 3 star hotel & I was not expecting 5 star service & amenities. Location is plus plus. Tour buses will pick you up from here. Walk thru back entrance to busy & vibrant night-life life precinct on Mitchell Street. My city room on the 7th floor was spared the street noise. 5 days here on 1st visit to Darwin which is a beaut heritage city with authentic Aussie culture. Pros: # Location # Reception staff helpful # Safe & secure with 2 security coded cards for building & room entry. Cons: #Old & dated air-con drone will keep you awake. Light sleepers beware! I got used to it, thankfully. Any longer - I'd sue for audio impairment! Cool enough but no thermostat remote control. # Soft pillows & bit saggy bed. Ok for me but pax two will test the firmness & comfort. # Clean but dated bathroom with darkened grouting here & there. All looks adequate on arrival. However with room service policy only on 7th day - it becomes annoying. Paying premium for hotel service but treated like an apartment stay. With Darwin's heat & humidity - the towels are used frequently & need changing. Sheets are not changed either which did not bother me much. #Shower is in bathtub & old style deep. Those with mobility issues need to be careful. Handrail is attached. # Trot down to reception to replenish tea or coffee bags. One cup & spoon provided in a pax 2 room. Figure how stained that gets by the 5th day - washing with hand wash & no scrub.. #You are expected to clear the bins by getting down to the basement!! Hello!! You come for a holiday hoping to get away from domestic duties. Pay the peak season hotel room rate only to be subjected to house work & irritations that detracts from relaxation. Accor chain need to address this. Stayed at Uluru in July 2023 in one of their premium resort hotels & found it in the same state of very low upkeep & maintenance. Fake reviews to prop up ratings. My group of friends picked this & I did too. Otherwise- there are plenty of choices on the esplanade or even a little further away. Darwin city is not set on massive city grid blocks like Melbourne is. Easy walk to ocean esplanade views even a little further away.

Clean confortable stay with large sized rooms. Small kitchenette with kettle and coffee. Not sure wher there breakfast / dining was but there are plenty of cafe's in Mitchell st. Large balcony overlooking the beach made for a lovely sunset. Receptionists were very pleasant and accommodating.
John G — Google review
Seemingly under staffed, outdated, unclean, uncomfortable (bed felt like a park bench), no flyscreen on window (nothing to stop children or people falling out) shower ran out of hot water (assuming the entire hotel must have ran out), room service comes from another hotel for a delivery fee. Bottom line, basic, budget accommodation, check out your expectations before you check in... The location is excellent, 30 minutes walk gets you markets, beaches, mariners, major tourist attractions and 1000 eateries and water holes, if your looking for a quieter spot to eat, wandering further away from the CBD (300m-900m) is a good option with plenty on offer... We won't be back here to stay, but that's just us..

Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront is a modern and laid-back property centrally located in Darwin, offering streamlined rooms with sea views. The colorful interiors are eclectic, and guests can enjoy unique decor in each room. Additionally, the hotel boasts a wave pool, fitness center, and spa for guests' convenience.
The location was amazing and the room was really nice. I didn't have a balcony room but it was light, spacious, clean, quiet and cool. Loved the indoor/outdoor pool and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I read some negative reviews but I would absolutely stay here again.

The vibe Darwin is located right on the waterfront next to the wave pool and the bouncy castle on the water, making it a perfect place to swim safely in Darwin. Our room was extremely clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The real feature of this hotel is the top notch breakfast, which had an enormous selection of food including a robot pancake machine. With food in Australia being so pricey the included breakfast was a huge bonus. If I were to brave the fearsome humidity of Darwin I would absolutely choose this hotel again. I will say that the charge for laundry seemed a bit excessive , each wash and dry load cost 4 bucks and we had to do the dryer twice so a single load of laundry was 12 dollars plus three for detergent.
Ruthless M — Google review
Hotel that requires a lot of attention. Bath towels have holes, no pricelist for the mini bar, kettle in room would not turn off after boiling (safety issues) & mould in the room. Staff in the breakfast area were lovely & breakfast was the best thing about my stay. Please attend to things listed above at your earliest convenience. Bed was comfortable. Happy about that too. So, bed & breakfast stand out.

I booked a package holiday with a reputable company that concluded with the 3 nights in Darwin. The holiday up to this point was filled with 1st class service and experiences. Then we got to the vibe hotel. On the positive side, the location is great and the breakfast nice. That’s about it though. On check in, I asked about a late check out (our flights leave late at night) and the immediate response was it’s $30 per hour and they would not recommend it. I asked if there was a room or shower we can use to freshen up and get changed before we leave, I was told we could pay for another night. We are welcome to use the outdoor shower by the hotel pool, which is not really practical, and we can use the disabled toilets to get changed. Some other really simple things to fix, offer to take guests luggage to their rooms (our room is approx. 250m from reception). I cannot remember the last time I stayed at a hotel and there was no complimentary water and/or a bottle and a note asking guests to refill from the tap. The staff are friendly and pleasant when you ask about this, however, they seem to have accepted that the standard is what is and they cannot help. Has this ruined our holiday? Absolutely not. It’s the little things that make the difference though, and my perception is that they have given up at the vibe hotel so I will avoid the chain in future.

We stayed at vibe the past two nights . Location is awesome . The room was basic , not a balcony room . We rearranged the furniture to at least enjoy the view . There was no where to be able to hang out swimmers etc . The room had not be been attended . When we enquired they said they only will do the room , towels and make the bed if you stay 4 nights 😳. We chased the trolley down to be able to at least have clean dry towels . The drying hooks on the bathroom door were not even able to hold a towel . Subsequently our bins were not changed . Don’t expect any room cleaning at all ! Staff seemed to be quite ambivalent to normal requests . No hanging signs for you door ( do not disturb) . Shower was in the bath tub . Parking is an extra 20 bucks a day if you can fit in the car park height wise . Wouldn’t normally complain about these things but when you pay a premium you expect a premium service . At least having the room serviced .

The Vibe Hotel in Darwin offers nice rooms, but the true highlight is its fantastic location. While the building and rooms show their age, the views from my room were awesome. However, the bathroom could use some attention, as it’s starting to show signs of wear and could benefit from a thorough cleaning and refresh. What really sets this Vibe apart is its superb location. With a variety of dining and drinking options along the covered esplanade just below, it’s easy to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. Plus, water sports are conveniently accessible, with a wave pool and water park right at the back door. The hotel is also just a short 10-minute walk from the CBD, making it a great base for exploring the area.

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately our experience was far below expectations. Overall I would rate this hotel as appalling. The cleanliness of the room was certainly not up to standard, the bathroom was unpleasant and we certainly didn't sit on the couch. The carpeted corridors (filthy), the dirty walls, the damp smell in the corridors and rooms - nothing even vaguely met cleanliness expectations. In addition to which, Reception staff were surly and quietly mocked our verbal feedback. The only thing in this hotels favour is it's location.

Three of us stayed there & found the 2 bedroom apartment spacious & well equipped. Loved the gorgeous marina views. It was easy to get around by foot & bus. Lovely helpful staff. Shop looked well stocked with useful groceries but we didnt need to do any shopping. Undercover carpark was a bonus when we had a rental car.

These resort apartments are privately owned, and then you book which apartment is wanted. Some are so so and others beautiful. We had an average apartment, but it serviced. Curtains and some walls were dirty and dust hanging off popcorn ceilings. The air conditioning vents were not clean. Very basic kitchen facilities provided and beware there is NO hairdryer. The bed was clean and comfy, but pillows were not the best. Great pool area with BBQ , and the view from the waterside rooms was spectacular. There are great restaurants in the bay, too.

We had our room upgraded, which was pleasant and gave us a lot more space. Staff were very helpful and nice, including the housekeeping team. Views from the balcony were fantastic and the room had all comfort. The nearby Cullen Bay precinct at the forefront is clean and very enjoyable On the flip side the room is outdated and in need of a little refurbishment and the undercover parking is a little tight, but there is plenty more outside at the back. A magic view over the marina and worth paying a bit extra. A nice clean room and good value for money compared to the Darwin waterfront. A good selection of restaurants within 300mtrs. If you love Mud crab, the best I have ever had is at Kathy's Place. Scrumptious.

Our experience here was top level. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed including a washing machine and drying rack. Rose on reception was really, really helpful and friendly - she is a credit to the resort, we felt so welcomed by her. The views are fantastic and the location is great. We walked to the Mindil markets.

Loved it here. Although the building and the rooms are a bit dated, it's in a prime location and is clean and comfy. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. It's close to the Botanical Gardens, a handy 9 hole golf course and walking distances to a local, well frequented bar (Lola's pergola). We saw Travel Fimmel here (star spotting). Great pool with a good temperature. It's also close to Mindil Beach Casino.Easy access for buses into the city.

My daughter booked this apartment for us as we are over from England. She asked for ajoining rooms and a good view and that is exactly what we got. They were quick to come and unlock the 2 rooms for access and we asked for a clothes airer and that was brought to our room within 5 mins. There is a free bus into the city centre and a 5 min walk to the marina where you can get something to eat and drink. 10 mins gets you to the market on Mindil beach, a great sunset there also. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, cooker, kettle and fridge. They provide 2 sachets of washing powder and washing up liquid to get you started . There is a balcony with 2 chairs and 2 small swimming pools. There are fans and air con in both the bedroom and living room a well as a tv in both rooms.

Great location and views. The rooms were hit and miss. We stayed with a group and the difference between the rooms was significant. Our room had broken curtain rails and not enough curtains to cover the windows. But everything was fairly clean and worked. Pool is not heated at all so was unpleasantly cold even with the warmer weather. Construction work next door also made the apartment not a nice place during the day.

Hotel
Rydges Darwin Central is a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Darwin, offering streamlined rooms with minibars and free Wi-Fi. The exterior of the hotel is extraordinary and modern, making it a desirable base for exploring nearby attractions or enjoying the myriad bars and cafes. The elegantly furnished rooms and suites feature spacious bathrooms with luxury amenities. Guests can enjoy a restaurant, cafe, room service, outdoor plunge pool, mini food court with Indonesian cuisine, valet parking, and a delicious buffet breakfast.
Darwin Central seems to be a survivor of an ambitious vision from 20 years ago to bring modernity, luxury, style and sophistication to the Darwin CBD. The hotel is still very comfortable. The rooms well appointed, large and cared for. Crisp linen and modern decor. The hotel itself though no longer has its own restaurant and bar. Both shuttered up but visible as It is they hold a commanding position over the central atrium, reminding visitors of what once was. Many of the shops including what we're high end luxury goods and jewellery stores are also long closed, adding to that feeling of decline. All that in perspective, the hotel is well positioned in the heart of Darwin's restaurant and bar district, just a block away from the magnificent Esplanade overlooking the Arafura Sea.

I recently stayed here with my mum, There was so much false advertising for this hotel and we were very disappointed, There is no bar or restaurant attached when we booked we were under the impression that there would be a buffet breakfast available at the restaurant and bar attached to the hotel, they aren't open so instead we where given 3 options a day at a local cafe down stairs and around the corner, while it was nice after 9 days it got boring and we weren't allowed to use the vouchers for any other meals so we ended up loosing money and giving them to the staff at the Rydges to use. We had to pay an extra $29 per night for car parking, the card details were taken upon check in and since leaving we keep receiving phone calls about payment when it has already been paid for! It shouldn't cost any extra to park as it is. The pool is very small and doesn't look at all like the photos online. The shower didn't drain properly so had to stand in about an inch of water during a shower and no body wash was in the container. The beds were really uncomfortable and my back was killing me the whole time we stayed there. There isn't even a microwave available to use in the room. No cutlery to make anything we had to buy plastic knives and forks. When they clean your room they don't clean the room properly. We had to ask for extra toilet paper after they had already been. Overall very disappointed in our stay and the general consensus with other people I spoke to staying there felt similarly. I wouldn't recommend staying here the city was really dead apart from on the weekends.

Staff is polite and cooperative. Clean facilities. Building, rooms and lobby are old and not modern. I chose room with kitchenette. Onsite parking available at a cost. Location is excellent in Darwin CBD. Its categorised as 4 star hotel but old style building, room and furniture speaks otherwise. Overall stay was fine and had no major issues.
Mohammad K — Google review
What’s good: the location. that’s it. The service was non-existent. You have to self check in and check out via a little computer. I mean.. it’s supposed to be a 4 stars hotel ??? I booked by mistake 2 rooms and explained the situation several times to the guys at the reception and absolutely no effort was made to help me get a refund. I really felt like I was bothering them even though I was very calm and nice… that’s a shame. :( all they could say was: “it’s our policy” The room was very basic and the shower was terrible with very very low water flow. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Go to Cavenagh Hotel instead! It’s cheaper and the people are really nice there !!!

Had an unpleasant experience during my stay. While I was quietly sitting in the lobby, a staff member came over and told me to "sit properly" because of their "new furniture." I wasn't doing anything wrong or causing damage-just sitting comfortably. He said, "Mate, can you sit properly please?" The tone was unnecessarily condescending, and the use of "mate" felt patronizing since I'm not his buddy. On top of that, it was obvious he treated other guests differently. Honestly, the staff at the McDonald's next door are more courteous. As a paying guest, I expect basic respect and common courtesy. Being singled out over something so trivial made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome-definitely not the treatment I expect from a hotel. The rooms were clean, and most of the staff I interacted with were polite and friendly, but this one incident really ruined my stay.
Reissuv R — Google review
We accidentally made a double booking at this hotel and realized it only when checking in. We immediately explained the situation and asked to cancel one of the two rooms. The second room was never used, and not prepaid. A staff member told us the hotel was fully booked and refused the cancellation. However, this was clearly a lie — we checked online and found multiple room types still available for the same dates. We contacted them twice, politely asking for a goodwill cancellation, but they completely refused — hiding behind policy instead of showing any understanding or flexibility. In the end, they charged us for a room we didn’t use for even one minute. This was not just inflexible — it was deliberately dishonest. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. If you expect honesty and even basic customer service, I recommend you stay far away from this hotel. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in years of traveling.

Helpful service conscious oriented staff helped made stay pleasant. Mr Taylor Nguyen was so helpful with finding tape and even a Woolworths Bag to carry my stuff for onward journey. Kudos, bravo, 👏🏻👏🏻👍👍keep it up
Nelson Y — Google review
Location was really good as it was centre of CBD. Hotel is tired and ordinary. Our kitchenette had 25 year old bench tops and just a microwave. Housekeeping was a bit haphazard filling tea/coffee and did not supply wash cloths. Room was good size. We signed up and did not get any discounts and staff were not helpful. Suggested we use the card readers to checkout. We received several emails to pay in advance and checked if they were scams.

Darwin City Hotel is a small compact hotel right in the middle of the CBD but far away enough from the main entertainment area of Darwin so you have a nice comfortable sleep. There is a narrow but refreshing lap pool to the rear of the hotel and all the modern offerings can be found in the hotel room. A late night Woolies is close by should you need to stock up and everything is within walking distance from the hotel.

The staff who worked here were helpful and friendly. The room was good but I wish it didn't have 3 beds as I just booked for one person. Very convenient location close to everything. However bring you ear plugs as the nightclubs near by make lots of noise Wednesday to Sunday nights!
Simone S — Google review
Service could be better. Very little room service for the 6 days stayed ..using the same towels as when I arrived. Would not give out change for using their dryer. Other than that pool is lovely and the hotel very clean. The location however is the best aspect.
Anthony W — Google review
Room itself was good and clean. What I had expected - value for money. But there was a lot of noise overnight inside the hotel. Room door was not well sealed and thus I heard people walking along corridor, noises which may have been sewer pipes or something else at 2am, 4am. Not good for light sleepers or bring good ear plugs. Window shutters to outside very good for noise and tropical sunlight. No outside traffic noise was noted all night. Good service at reception. We stayed 2 nights so room did not need servicing. Centrally located - it was why I chose this hotel. Easy to walk everywhere - to many food options, shops, Mindil Beach. There is even eating option downstairs called Makan Stop. Had Asian breakfast there.

Rooms were good, showers were useless.. very noisy from other guests staying in rooms next door. Shutters are a brilliant idea on the windows. Toilets could've been cleaner.. a good stone throw from the main street.

My wife and I arrived at the Darwin City Hotel at the end of a cruise from Broome to Darwin in July. The hotel is situated in the centre of Darwin within easy walking distance of shops, parks, beaches and restaurants. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, affording us an early check-in at no extra cost and managed to book us in for an extra day. Our suite on level 2 was sparkling clean and comfortable with a large TV, plenty of drawer and wardrobe space, a fridge and an excellent shower in the bathroom. Double glazing and electric shutters meant that the room was quiet 24/7. A lap pool on the ground floor was great for cooling off!
Peter O — Google review
Convenient location in walking distance to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Quiet rooms and comfortable. Additional cost for on site secure parking of $15 per day. Does not have any onsite options for breakfast or dinner but cafes close by.
Dave R — Google review
Room was disgusting. Cleaners’s swept all the junk from previous guests under my bed. Used underwear, condoms, trash, deodorant cans, glasses etc etc. Was so loud with people in rooms next door getting drunk till 5am & having prostitution sessions. Never again. They tried shutting me up with a free bottle of wine. 🤮

Our first family trip to Darwin and it was amazing. Our apartment was perfect. Clean, tidy, comfortable and super modern. Car hire is available with the room with a carpark underground so no need to worry about getting around. Access to the waterfront was ideal and it was only a short stroll or drive to the town centre. View from the room was amazing. We will be back!!!

Great 2 bed apartment with absolutely everything you need. We were so lucky to get a rate with a car. God send! Owners are very friendly and accommodated us with our small children. Extremely convenient location especially for families. Great restaurants nearby. Amazing water views from our balcony. So relaxing and kids loved watching the huge boats sail in. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!

We stayed in Apartment 352 commencing 7 July and it was wonderful. If I could add an extra star across all areas I would. We were a family of six. The apartment is spacious so we were never in each other's way. It was fantastic to find some essentials for cooking and washing provided including olive oil in the kitchen and washing liquid in the laundry. The views of Darwin Harbour are amazing providing entertainment in itself. It is almost a non existent walk to so many restaurants and the waterfront beach and wave pool. We absolutely recommend this accommodation.
Charlie G — Google review
The view was truly breathtaking, offering a full panorama of the ocean and its surroundings. The apartment itself was delightful, immaculately clean, and well-organized, with a layout that we absolutely loved. We were pleased to find floaties, pool noodles, and beach towels available, which made our swims in the water below even more enjoyable. Additionally, the location was perfect, being in close proximity to restaurants and bars, making it a fantastic spot overall!

As a Darwin local this worked out great for a staycation, kids had a ball at the water front. units in prime location for food and drinks, nice place to head back to and relax after a day in the sun and water. Couldn't thank the Darwin waterfront Luxury Suites team enough.

We can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was perfect. Communication was excellent. The apartment was perfect. We were able to spend a lot of time in the outdoor area admiring the great view because of the ceiling fans. Location was excellent. The apartment was well supplied including good olive oil for cooking and BBQ which was really appreciated. The use of 5he car was an ADDED bonus. We will be back. Thank you. Joan

I stayed here just over a week with my brother for a business/leisure trip. The 2 bedroom apartment we had was well appointed and clean and very plush. The views of the harbour were lovely to wake up to. We were looked after well during our stay. The communication was great. We were given a courtesy car to us during our stay which was awesome as Darwin is pretty hot and difficult to commute via foot if you are easily overheated. We went to Litchfield national Park for one of our sightseeing days. The location is on the waterfront. Close to the convention centre, finger Wharf, restaurants, swimming pools, shops, and cafes. Walking distance into the town. Would stay again, thanks!

We have just had three wonderful weeks here with two other couples on powered sites Narelle went above and beyond settling us all in .Convenience of store and a great Tavern at you’re doorstep we would definitely be back Thankyou

We were very disappointed with the area around the caravan park as for untidiness..Site next to us was disgusting with rubbish ..had a stump which was huge in our bay and a very large rock so only half was usable with blind out.The toilet paper was empty three times with no spare. And just generally was not mown and unkempt..As for location it was brilliant..but on arrival we were told 65 but will do it for 55 ...find out it's advertised at 55..Dont lie please.
Vallereen I — Google review
Had a wonderful stay at Boomerang. The owners and staff (Ralph aka Narelle)were very friendly and obliging. The rates were the best we found in Darwin. The pool was great and the gardens and grassed areas made relaxing enjoyable. The park is also adjacent to shop and fuel station which we found convenient.
Heather H — Google review
Ralph is amazing, Jessie was so easy going. These people really listen and care. Im so happy.
JJ L — Google review
Cheapest campsite we could find near Darwin. Good for the price. The kitchen is very basic. The cooking utensils are provided, which is great, but there's only one small fridge for the whole campsite so found room to be an issue. Also no microwave and very dated cooking hob. Bathroom facilities also basic and dated. Overall, functional and good value for money.
Faye R — Google review
Too noisy from hwy. Otherwise nice clean park . No service/reception.
Lynda S — Google review
Narelle alias Ralph was most welcoming and helpful. When we had to extend our stay she went out of her way to leave us in our spot. Meant a lot of juggling for her. Pool and amenties very clean. Nice shady grassy sites . Enjoyed our stay
Deb W — Google review
I would have to congratulate the owner's the lady (Narelle) was absolutely awesome beinga local new all the right places. . I think the park for what you pay is reasonable. Could do with a microwave prehaps a tidy around the park of debris also a bigger fridge. Pool area very clean and tidy. Can't comment on the rooms as we camped would definitely stay again
