Great variety of food here although sometimes spicier than expected (not that its a bad thing). Great selection of wines and good service. Centrally located in the quieter part of Mitchell Street. Would recommend.

A lovely dining experience. Great service, top notch food. The entire menu sounded appealing so I went with Hanuman's signature butter chicken. It was so rich and flavourful - the best butter chicken I've had in my life, full of spice and a rich sauce, thickened with ground cashew. The black rice brulee was a delicious dessert to finish on, with a nice crisp top and silky custard.

So we did our research and was recommended to visit this restaurant. And then asked the Indian Uber driver, and the hotel, and random strangers … and yes … this place is as good as everyone said. We arrived just before 6pm opening and there was a line up. What an amazing dinner. #hanumandarwin #indianfood

We enjoyed the banquet for two! The food was fresh and very tasty! The butter chicken was awesome! Some of the chicken in another dish was very dry but did let the staff know at the time. Staff were attentive and friendly. little things like drinks arriving after entrees could be improved. The ratings on this place were high so I had high expectations. I wouldn’t say it is fine dining as it’s appears to be advertised. Expensive for the experience you get compared to Brisbane or Melbourne.

We enjoyed two dinners at this restaurant. Chicken saté and Butter Chicken the first evening and Chili Chicken with naan and broccoli cabbage the second night. Both meals were delicious. Kind service, though a bit slow on Friday evening. Servers Kim and Marvin were very pleasant.

It had been quite a while since my last visit to Hanuman, and I’m delighted to say that the dining experience exceeded my expectations. Antonio, who served us that evening, demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism, providing outstanding customer service that truly stood out. The food was flawless in every aspect, confirming Hanuman’s reputation for excellence. It’s reassuring and impressive to see that after many years, Hanuman continues to uphold its high standards consistently.

I enjoyed the experience of dining at an expensive Thai/Indian restaurant. Menu had a wide range of choices which made it disappointing as a solo diner I could only pick an entree and main (no sampler item for 1 person) The food was delicious. The service was good but missed stuff like serving spoons, or aligning the desert with coffee.

About a 15 minute walk from our downtown hotel for dinner. Being from south Texas along the Mexican border my expectations were low but, wow, was I surprised. I had the pork carnitas tacos and my other half had the chicken enchiladas. Both were delish!! Friendly staff and great service. A big thumbs up from me. 👍

This place was recommended to us by some flight attendants who fly up regularly and let's say it lives up to the hype. The food was delicious and cocktails and margaritas hit the spot on a warm Darwin night. Would recommend the fish tacos any time. The service was quick and friendly with a creative atmosphere, this is a must visit.

Food was amazing! Their portions good enough for one person, I got the lamb enchiladas (very lamb flavour) and my friend got the chicken enchiladas (more on the cilantro flavour) . We also got the corn appetizer, (I don’t remember the name, nor did I take a picture) but definitely worth trying the appetizer!

We were very grateful for the service given to us by Andrea. She was a great hostess welcoming warm and friendly advising us on the their menu and recommended the quesadillas which we thoroughly enjoyed; along with our cocktails. The food portions were generous and delicious! Andreas warm and friendly approach was very refreshing and we really appreciated her help on advice of where to shop in Darwin. Thank you Andrea! Terrible tacos. I came in for the taco happy hour – I ordered 2 to start and that is also where it ended. Both tacos were cold. The pork taco was dry as all hell and lacked flavour. The chicken taco, although not as dry, was as bland as a soy boy. I would have loved to smother these in hot sauce, but the refrigerated sauce provided was congealed and would not come out of the bottle – rendering it useless. The one star is for the service and lagoon view. I would have loved to try the interesting desserts, but the taco experience left such a literal bad taste in my mouth that I just got the heck out of there, never to return.

3.5 stars is a fair rating. Waitress dropped some food on the floor prior to serving laughed it off. No follow up action. When ordering told food would come out together- nope came out 20mins apart. Fish Tarcos Yummy! Food is good overall but overpriced for the serving size. Best place for drinks only IMO.

Best way to describe this cafe, I think is bijoux boheme meets chic. The location amongst the trees on the foreshore can't be beaten. Something about the dilapidated seating scattered among the trees shouts carefree beachy and hippie. I really wanted to give it 5 stars after today's visit 3/9/24 but today we must have hit a 'slappy lazy ho hum' service day. Perhaps this is part of the vibe they're going for, layback take it or leave it. Anyway, the iced chocolate was very nice, the ice latte was pricey at 6$ for the size IMO. I learnt later by accident that there was an orange cake on offer but you had to ask for it. While we were too early for lunch, other people's burgers looked good. It's definitely worth a visit but be prepared for premium prices.

Love this place nice coffee and a stunning view. Never be fan of the food but each test is different for everyone. Pro. You can enjoy a beautiful green space with ocean view and your dog. Con. Avoid Sunday it’s way to busy and you will wait ages to get your order or find a sit. Recommend to go during the week when the place is quieter and you can enjoy a nice juice.

If you want a nice place to relax its ok. But other than that the food has gone from bearable to awful. The burgers are constantly coming out burnt and with an unhealthy amount of what seams to be a relish sauce, over powering everything and leaving a foul after taste. The salads are soaked and pretty much just mush. And the fish has recently been dripping with oil to the point there is a pool of it left on the plate. Definitely not worth the prices anymore.

This is my second visit, when I went first time I felt I should not be judging with one time as the place place was good to visit. My second time was a disappointment too. The price is expensive how ever the service is not great. I ordered smashed avocado and it was bland and the bread was not toasted well. I asked extra hot coffee twice today but were cold then normal the young girl would hardly follow instructions when ordering and I feel like the business should be aware of this as they need to provide more training to their staff.

Took a breakfast here, quite hard to find but when you do it's worth a visit for a meal. Parking is available close by or at the bottom of the street If parking is full, so maximum of a 50m walk. Was a small queue when I went but still ordered food and drink within 10minutes. Food was nice and as ordered, was a nice variety on the menu but limited tables nearby so you have to wait for your order then take it to your table, no service. A few picnic tables close to ordering point them more tables around the area, some with nice views if the sea. A nice little place for any meal so have a look if your close by!

It's important to note that during the dry season, it tends to get very busy, so it might be a good idea to bring your own chair or a picnic blanket to ensure you have a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your meal amidst the crowds. Shameful! The cost of the food is ridiculous. Over priced and very low quality. How can you mess up an egg and bacon roll! The plastic plate was all scratched up with a gaping crack. Burnt egg and cheap bacon with lots of fat on it. The whole thing was running with grease. Lucky we had tissues and wet wipes in the car. There was little shade beach side so had to sit under the trees in a dirty, scruffy unkempt area. I’ll never go again and will never recommend it.

For the price l would have expected so much better. Husband had the snapper he said was nice, l had stuffed chicken breast, dry, flavourless and served with a random black bean mixture. Service was just OK, scenery is what makes it. Would not go back.

Considered Darwin's best restaurant, the service is always 5 star. Food delicious and portions are very reasonable. The soft shell crab entree and pork main store out for us that night!

My husband and I wanted to go somewhere special for our wedding anniversary so we picked Pee Wee's at the Point and we are so happy we made that decision. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. Both entrees and mains were delicious and well portioned. The view of the bay is beautiful, especially around the time the sun is setting. We will be returning in the future!

But having the Pee Wee’s team made the whole process a breeze. 💨 Our journey took around 18 months from engagement to wedding day, and from the very beginning we felt thoroughly supported and genuinely cared for. From their patience while we decided on our date (which I went back and forth on for life reasons!), to allowing multiple drop-in site visits when we were in town, organising an on-site rehearsal, seamlessly coordinating with all our vendors, and even taking the time for a generous planning video conference with Sharon 🥹 Pee Wee’s truly went above and beyond. They’ve done this hundreds of times and know all the local vendors, but what stands out is how personal the experience feels. They genuinely value how important your day is and put so much care into creating something that feels truly you. The venue is, of course, stunning, and the food was amazing! We’ve been to so many weddings where this isn’t the case, but Pee Wee’s catered for our 150 guests with ease. The service was flawless, and even the pack up and pack down were taken care of, which is such a relief at the end of a big night! We’d recommend Pee Wee’s to anyone planning a wedding. Just get in quick… because all of Darwin clearly knows how special this place is! 💛

A beautiful venue and wonderful view across the bay. Great staff and service. A great variety on the menu. Good wine list. For entree We had the crocodile & the brisket. For our main dish we had pork on the bone & barramundi with their local namesake wines. A repeat visit for our 39th anniversary.

We went to a wedding here and the food was amazing. I've never been to any function and been so well catered for as a vegan!! To be able to sit and eat a meal that is just like everyone else was such a pleasure. And it tasted incredible. I can't explain how good it was to get a well thought out meal with some protein and not just a random bowl of vegetables . Thank you so much 😊

We came here on a Tuesday evening to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary, expecting a fine dining experience. Unfortunately, it fell short in many ways. The phone booking experience was unpleasant — the staff member who answered (with an Indian accent) was abrupt and hung up before we finished speaking. At the restaurant, our section waiter was not attentive. We were asked to order drinks just minutes after sitting down, before we had a chance to look at the menu. Later, we struggled to get her attention to place our food order. After the mains, no one came to clear our plates for a long time, and my husband had to go to the bar himself to get the dessert menu. One trainee staff member was very friendly and took our dessert order — he was the only highlight in terms of service. We had mentioned it was our 4th anniversary and hoped to see that reflected on the dessert plate, but it only said “Happy Anniversary” with no personal touch. As for the food: the pork ribs were delicious. However, the “wild caught” barramundi tasted mushy and not fresh — more like farmed fish — and the sauce left an odd, toothpaste-like aftertaste. The crème brûlée, on the other hand, was excellent: smooth, not overly sweet, and well-executed. The whole meal (1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert) took nearly 2 hours, and the level of service didn’t match the expectations of a fine dining venue with a $100+ per person price tag. At payment, the server didn’t inform us how to opt out of the tip option, and we were automatically charged 10%. We usually don’t mind tipping for good service, but in this case, it felt undeserved and uncomfortable. The only redeeming aspects were the stunning sea view and the live music, which added a pleasant atmosphere without being too loud. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

An outstanding restaurant with fantastic cuisine, stylish ambience, and excellent service. The dishes are fresh, refined, and full of flavor – with seafood and meat dishes that truly impress. The wine list is excellent, and the recommendations were spot-on, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Erika and Anna, whose warm, attentive service and thoughtful guidance made the evening truly memorable. With its stunning waterfront location and unique atmosphere at sunset, Wharf One is the perfect place for an unforgettable evening. A well-deserved 5 stars and my highest recommendation.

Lovely meal for my husband’s birthday. We had the charcuterie board which was huge followed by steak. Beautifully presented and we didn’t need the sides that we also ordered. Nice service from Francisco who was very attentive. We had booked an inside table in the AC but were put outside in the deck because of a party inside. The downside of that was that it was really hot which spoilt our enjoyment a little. Would definitely recommend and would revisit.

We hosted our baby’s first birthday (Zhuazhou) at Wharf One and couldn’t be happier! The venue was stunning, food was delicious, and service was exceptional. A big thank you to Alana for her warm and attentive service, Gia for helping throughout the evening, and Erika for making the booking process smooth. Our guests loved everything — truly a memorable celebration. Highly recommend Wharf One for any special occasion in Darwin!

We ate there for a friend’s birthday. We ordered Beef Brisket and Pork Belly and they were both delicious and had generous servings. The staff led by Alana did a fantastic job in serving us. We couldn’t fault it. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to my friends and families. God bless you guys.

From the moment we made our booking, our experience at Wharf One was nothing short of exceptional. Carmine ensured a seamless reservation process and welcomed us with warmth, seating us at a beautiful spot right by the water — the perfect setting for a memorable evening. Throughout the night, we were looked after by Antony and Federico, whose friendly and professional service made us feel truly cared for. They anticipated our needs with grace and ensured we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. A special highlight was meeting Chef Wesly, who personally introduced several of the dishes. His passion and storytelling brought each plate to life, adding a layer of meaning and artistry to the meal that we won’t soon forget. Alannah’s cocktails were a delight, balanced, creative, and beautifully presented, while Gia’s radiant smile and warm presence added an extra sparkle to the evening. Every member of the team contributed to an atmosphere of genuine hospitality and excellence. Wharf One isn’t just a restaurant... it’s an experience. We left feeling nourished, inspired, and already planning our return.

Came here for a conference dinner. The staff were lovely, very helpful and courteous. I had 1/2 dozen oysters to start which were good and then a steak cooked exactly as I requested with the truffle fries. That truffle sauce was insanely good and the steaks green peppercorn sauce was fabulous too. Ended the night with the panna cotta which was light and tasty but a good portion size. Would recommend to a friend and the atmosphere was a vibe.

I tried several dishes there. The laksa linguine is nice with high quality pasta, fresh veggies, and Parmesan cheese. The only issue is it did not match the name. Good pasta but without laksa flavour. The coconut cake is a bit weird, especially the white cream. I think it is made of coconut cream. But it gives me some chemical feeling. I cannot continue eating, so I asked staff for a change. Staff are friendly and I changed to panna cotta. It is much better. Last, the restaurant did not have QR code for the Laksa festival.

I think this restaurant can be hit or miss dependant on what you order. Food - We loved the starter bread but my husband said his scallops were a bit mediocre, quite small presumably shipped up frozen. This has been mentioned in a past review so I wish we had read that before, as we could’ve avoided ordering it. I had the mushroom scallops which were nice enough but for $20 I probably wouldn’t order again. My husband ordered a steak main which he said was excellent. Past reviews also rave about the steaks so it’s definitely a safe bet. The fries with truffle aioli are also very good. For my main I ordered the fettuccine and it was a big flop. It was just very basic, store bought pasta with punnet cherry tomatoes & spinach. For $38 you at least expect handmade pasta. For $10 less you can get handmade Parpadelle pasta mains from Alfonsinos, the Funghi with double cream is so delicious we have to order it as an extra main as my husband & I fight over it. So please don’t make the same mistake I did & avoid the pasta, it’s a rip off. Atmosphere - It’s a gorgeous setting & the atmosphere is almost perfect. There is a function room upstairs with a bit of noise bleed & the night we went, there was lots of intermittent cheers & screams coming from upstairs as there was a junior dancing competition, so that was unfortunate timing.

24.10.2025 - Buffet Brrakfast. Warm and polite staff - they make you feel so welcomed. $32.50 per person for the buffet breakfast, which has a bit of everything - it was all so free and yummy! Pancakes, gluton free table, fruit, bacon, eggs (scrambled and then you can special order for fried, etc), chicken sausages, chorizo, cereal, ham salami, salmon ..... coffee, juice! Plenty of seating and a really relaxing setting.

Steak somewhat dry, mediocre service lacking in properly training. No cash accepted yet 2% surcharge for card payment. Nice ambiance with so much potential, but disappointing.

Awesome dining experience! I usually avoid Hotel restaurants but PepperBerry is top notch, fine dining. Had an excellent 3 course meal, everything outstanding. Complimentary sour dough bread to start. Had Miso Tempura Crocodile for entree, Black Angus Scotch fillet for main and a 'Mess' for dessert, like an Eton Mess but Aussie style. One of the best steaks in my entire life… succulent, blue to perfection with the tastiest prawns ever! Entree’s were magnificent! So good in fact I had three! The scallops with chorizo were off the chart, the kangaroo was next level and the mushrooms were delightful. Lovely panacotta dessert and brilliant wine, beer and spirits. Only dramas were staff attentiveness to beverages (we drank like fish though) and a little bit of a wait for the food to come out… but geez, when it did, the quality was exceptional. Decadent, delightful, delectable and do yourself a favour and come here, spend up and take yourself on a gourmet journey not seen much elsewhere in the NT! Thoroughly recommended. Have eaten here several times and always resplendent! Coming back again soon!

The lemongrass mocktail was delicious — perfectly balanced, not too sweet or sour. It was quite busy, but service was quick. Our small plates arrived within about 10 minutes of ordering. The curry leaf–cured snapper was fresh and well complemented by the coconut dressing and green chilli oil — flavourful without being hot. The spiced lamb ribs were beautifully seasoned, and the yogurt paired perfectly with the dish. The crispy pumpkin with its seasoned sauce was a standout — easily one of the best dishes. The spiced potato had a nice kick of heat, and the eggplant moju was rich and full of flavour. The goraka chicken was succulent and nicely garnished with shallots (not spring onions). Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place — it’s tucked away from the main tourist areas and well worth a visit.

Wonderful. What a lovely experience. An unusual place for a restaurant, but you are magically transported into a beautiful space with very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Cocktails were exceptional and a lot of attention to detail with every ingredient and this was apparent in the taste. All of the waiters knew the cocktail and food menu well and gave very sound advice when we were choosing. All of the food was delicious. A different flavour profile that was refreshingly needed in a dining world of repetitive tastes. We started with small plates of Kangaroo tartare, pan roll, lamb ribs and the crispy pumpkin. All were delicious. The lamb ribs were possibly the best. Hard to pick. For large plates we had the spiced potatoes- nice, but not exceptional $32 was steep for this dish. As was $34 cor the spiced pineapple- however, I’m so glad we chose this dish. It was unusual and refreshing amounts the other food. Beef wagyu ribs were good, as was the chicken. We got Roti ( yum!!!), rice and a selection of small chutneys- we were recommended to order these, however, I felt they were an expensive addition that was completely unnecessary. The flavour of the food was enough without needing any additions. For dessert we were recommended to try one of their dishes and share it. I wasn’t a fan. It was way too sweet, although I did like the cardamom taste and the aftertaste of black pepper. The sweetness and texture seemed a bit off for me . Overall, an amazing addition to Darwin’s food scene. It really has nothing to compete with and we will be back, many times over.

Exceptional food, incredible flavours, combination of traditional recipes with a modern twist that really exemplifies the ingredients, The techniques of the chef, and the incredible diversity of the flavours that encompass is delicious experience. The cocktails are absolutely divine and the wine list is something really special.

Had an amazing dinner here the other night. Highlights were the roti, lamb rib entree and goat curry. Complex flavours married well together and serving sizes are more filling than you would expect. Both bottles of red were nice. Would recommend to family and friends, easily my favourite dinner in Darwin

Wow! My Sri Lankan mother would hate me if she knew I went to Sri Lankan restaurant, but this was amazing. The traditional flavours with a mix of Aussie influence, with well crafted dishes that oozes flavour. Beef brisket and lamb was my favourite dishes with a close third to the snapper. I had the feed me menu which was perfect and a lot of food, the roti was bit oily but otherwise everything was perfect.

Wow. Best restaurant I have been to in Darwin, I rate the food here better than what most people probably know as Darwin’s best restaurant… this place just lacks the view - but the vibe inside is wonderful. Amazing service. We chose the ‘feed me’ option hoping to try some things we might not normally try… which worked out well, we are not vegetarians and 2x of our favourite dishes ended up being so! We will be back for sure.

What a treat! Photos don't do it justice, but this cafe is a full on 70's cultural immersion zone packed with memorabilia from vintage video games, TV posters, classic collectibles and with great food and a very interesting owner. Being a vegan I loved the plant based options.

A deep dive in the fantasy/sci-fi video gaming/movie culture of the 80s and 90s. The cafe's area is tiny (think 3 rooms of a small sized house), and they are filled up to the ceiling with vintage memorabilia and video cassettes. I know no nerd born between 1975 and 1995 that wouldn't enjoy a coffee here with a smile, proven that he/she also likes kids, as they are rightfully ever present. The place could, in fact, be considered very much kids oriented, as long as said kids are accompanied by 80-90s culture nostalgic parents. Food is also unexpectedly good, although there aren't many choices on the menu. My understanding is that some local clubs made of this cafe a sort of unofficial venue for their reunion, so it is not recommended to people that enjoy solitude.

Apart from having vegan food which was fantastic!!! What’s awesome about the mad snake cafe is the collection of games and nerdy electronic memorabilia from the 70’s and 80’s like starwars collectable. He has movie nights and game night. You have to go!! 🎮🎳🃏🕹️

A wonderful place to spend reminiscing about all the gaming memories, lose count how many times you say or hear “I remember” A colourful place to chill either on a sofa or playing a game at a table. Coffee and light bites are just what’s needed, staff are always happy to chat, highly recommended for vibrant experience on the eyes

I will say that the entire dish we had was very delicious, but once getting to main course it wasn’t the same pleasant experience. We know people have different preferences for spice levels and green curry’s are normally a bit spicy, so for someone who likes a bit of spice we still asked for mild. I could not handle how spicy this dish was to the point where I couldn’t eat anymore because I felt sick (and I hate to waste food). I know this can’t be managed that well even if requested, but the dirty glasses that we could not drink out of and the hair we found in the rice was not the best end to our evening.

Food was amazing and such huge portions makes the price of the dishes worth it. Staff were great and always checking if we needed anything. Great little restaurant.

After serving, the staff checked in with us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and to see if we needed anything further. The attention to detail and level of care provided was exceptional. A special mention goes to the manager, Nisha, who managed the team and the overall dining experience remarkably well. For our first visit, the service went above and beyond our expectations. The staffs were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced — it really made the meal special! On top of that, the ambiance was warm and inviting — perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and excellent service in a lovely setting.

Great service! The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was good, but it was quite standard. While everything was prepared well, it didn't stand out or offer anything unique. Still, a solid choice for a reliable meal.

I went there for my yearly birthday dinner. The service was great but the food was not very good. When ordering I asked for the wings but they didn't have them even though it was on the menu, therefore the substitute was pork which was pretty bad. I also ordered the spring rolls which were strangely watery inside but the waitress asked if they were greasy. Again not a good choice. My main dish was the orange chicken which was unevenly cooked where the larger pieces were doughy (not cooked inside). Definitely not impressed and will never go back again. The best part of the meal was the bottled sparkling water. The next day I went to Happy Garden for a tenth of the price and I was very happy. I really was expecting better food. The strange thing was the questions from the staff like what exactly did you not like. I felt like a guinea pig for the restaurant which I paid $70 bucks to be experimented on. Dragon Court you must do better.

This is situated within the Casino and is very cosy. Best to buy just a few dishes and share them amongst a group which we didn't realise when we dined. It was $200 for 4 of us with drinks and we didn't finish all our food. The service was a little slow, we had reservations, but stood out the front for about 5mins waiting for someone to seat us (maybe some CCTV feeding into the kitchen from the front door or a bell might be a good idea?). Would go again, but order less next time.

Dragon Court is truly an outstanding restaurant. Located inside Mindil Casino, it offers dishes with excellent presentation and remarkable taste. The staff provide attentive and warm service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I will certainly return to this restaurant in the future.

Great vegetarian place! The mushroom patties were absolutely amazing, so many things and tastes on the plate and the portion size was perfect. The beetroot pasty was a bit bland unfortunately, a bit more taste in there and it would have been a 5 stars for sure!

Far from CBD, near a bus stop and walking distance. In a building next to a physio. Appreciated by locals. Ordered the quinoa breakfast. Good servo g of quinoa on a bed aibika leaves with a little yogurt, and apple. Coffee was ok. Table service is efficient. Staff is very informative.

It is out of the normal lunch time eating areas but for something different it is worth the drive there. Menu is vegetarian but a wider choice than what most vegetarian places offer. The serving sizes are ample and the chef often introduces different plants which are rarely used. They added to the taste and look of the dish and raised them above the norm.

This place is one of the only places in the Northern Territory that I had luck finding healthy vegan food. I loaded up an entire cooler of all of their pre made meals before I set out to the national parks for the week. It was all amazing and kept really well.

Vegetarian food at its best. Fresh ingredients and home cooked meals. My favourite is the homemade iced chai and their roast vegetable salad. Just make sure you get there early, they close around 3pm.

Ayuriz Cafe serves the best Indonesian food in the CBD—authentic flavours, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly and helpful, making each visit enjoyable. Whether it’s the dry or wet season, it’s always cool and comfortable inside. A hidden gem for anyone craving real Indonesian cuisine!

Don’t be put off by the location you MUST go here while in Darwin. Crispy fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had. The clear chicken soup was awesome as was the Nasi goreng. All cooked fresh to order. Beautiful friendly service. The seating area would be the perfect retreat on a hot day so nice and cool.

A very relaxed food court Ayuriz is the only Indonesian restaurant in the complex. Tried Nasi Remis, a combination of dishes, delicious overall. Tempe was slightly spicy, beef rendang was soft and not spicy and the chicken was fried and a little dry. Sufficient beef randang sauce to mix in the rice. I felt and left full and content. A must try.

Very generous portion of Ayam Penyet! The sambal was well made, spicy, and full of flavour — I really appreciate the generosity with the sambal, which took the whole experience to another level. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic taste and a satisfying meal.

Went there with a friend and my cousin for a dinner. We all chose the Surf N Turf. When our food came out, they looked okay. The taste got me more disappointed, the sauce lack flavour and the calamari was soggy. It's pricey for the way it tasted. I'd still choose other restaurants with steak specials than this one. Not gonna recommend it for those really expecting for a nice Surf N Turf.

My family and I ordered the Surf n Turf, Territory Taste Platter, and the Garlic Prawns with Rice. Way too overpriced for the quality and quantity. It was an okay meal, the prawns and rice were great - we just wished it came with more sauce. So much left over rice with no sauce to eat it with. In my opinion the steak (surf n turf) was cooked beautifully, the prawns were cooked nicely too, and the gravy was awesome! I just wished I ordered more fries instead of salad. The Territory Taste Platter is not worth ordering again. At all. The Crocodile fillet was incredible, I wish that could of been a meal on its own. We need more places in Darwin that offer more Crocodile options!! However the reason im giving it a 4 stars is because the kangaroo tasted absolutely awful, we couldnt finish it. The salad was just bad. Im so sorry, maybe I came on a bad day, but the mango dressing just doesn't go well with the salad. I feel like the mango dressing should be an option, as most people (myself included) aren't big on having fruit in salads alongside savoury meals, but thats just my opinion. I think a simple vinigarette dressing would of gone a long way. Overall, dinner was decent and the restaurant is located on the quieter side of the warf.

Delicious! Absolutely worth checking out. Had the Laksa which was just packed with flavour. My partner had the Surf and Turf with prawns and calamari. Highly recommend and will be back to check out some of their other dishes.

OMG This is a hidden gem for a Darwin Laksa and all things authentic Vietnamese and more. Mum level quality for those who know. And you can eat it on the jetty during sunset. Best food we had in Darwin CBD :)-

This is the best Vietnamese in Darwin! Great Pho and traditional Bun Bo Hue made on request. I’m from a traditional Vietnamese family and this is just as authentic. Phuong and her team were great host as well.

I had an amazing breakfast experience at this place over the weekend . Despite being quite popular and busy atmosphere, was able to quickly find a seat and being promptly served. The menu offered a variety of options, but I especially enjoyed the generously portioned pancake topped with Nutella, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream. The environment was pleasant, with outdoor seating available. The customer service was exceptional and the presentation of the food was impressive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a leisurely breakfast or lunch.

Food was super tasty! I’m a bit picky with pastas but their pesto pasta and chilli prawn pasta was really nice! Pretty place to eat, maybe bring some mosquito spray if you’re coming at night. Would definitely come back.

Honestly this is by far the best cafe in Darwin!! Portion sizes are huge, price is reasonable, location is great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Especially to the Manager Shanay!! Went for a weekend brunch here, wasn't sure what to expect. It gets busy, so clearly popular. The food was good, the nutella coffee was pleasant. It was nice, but not amazing. If I lived next door I'd probably go regularly, but otherwise won't go out of my way to come here.

Conveniently located right in the middle of Darwin mall. This lovely little cafe has a lot of fresh food options. If I lived in Darwin, I'd be here all the time. I had an egg and cheese Turkish bread toastie and it was one of the best toasties ever! The staff are very very friendly and helpful. And they even managed to remember our coffees the next day we went in. Highly recommend

We stopped at Cafe 21 about 4 times during the week we were in Darwin. Very good coffee, good juice bar, one day we had a baguette with ham and salad and a prawn and avocado salad for lunch. The best! The dinner we had there was even better. The schnitzel to die for and the chips to perfection! The calamari were good too. A clean place, they serve quickly, the staff is polite and just a nice place for breakfast lunch and dinner. They serve dinner only from 5 pm and only Wed to Sunday. We loved it. We will go back to try some of the cakes as well.

Observed employees making tastiest with no gloves touch cheese & ham.didnt Observed anyone washing their hands.i took pictures of the nasty food handling but I can't upload them.i also got charged $1.06 extra for using my card.as a chef bad food handling is just upsetting

This barra burger was delicious...I asked for it to be grilled and it came out perfect. There's a massive amount of chips as you can see, they were a little on the crunchy side for me. Not a bad spot for lunch and reasonably priced as well. Lots of options to choose from.

Cafe 21 used to be a lovely cafe with pleasant outside seating which is where i like to sit and have a coffee especially in the dry season but now unfortunately there's not enough seating just for 1 or 2 persons as all the nice old seating has been taken up and and all that's left is very large and very ugly white plastic furniture which brings the place down unfortunately, I hope this is just temporary as it was such a lovely place to enjoy a coffee outside

Ordered Acai Energy Bowl, could hardly see or taste any acai. It looked more of food colouring and taste of raisin all over.

Situated in the centre of Darwin, we thought the food was outstanding. Take the waiter's reccomendation on drinks and the decor is modern and funky. There is an area to sit on the triangular cushions which we didn't use that night. Satays and spring rolls were delicious, curry is up there with the best in any Aussie town and we stayed there for a few hours and had fun.

Great Thai food! The service was prompt, the atmosphere great, with a lovely section down the back with floor tables and cushions for a different and fun dining experience. The Pad Thai and Coconut Prawns were excellent

Food is okay. I've had better Thai. The staff super nice. But they hovered over our table and cleared away parts of our meal with spoon having moments only just left our mouth.

Very disappointing: We ordered five different meals (take-a-way) and all meals were very poor; tasteless, over cooked, the prawns were like powder & crumbled when you tried to pick them up, very overpriced & now we are hoping we don't get sick. Not happy days. We won't be going back 👎👎👎

The best Thai food I've ever had in NT. None of that western over coconut milked/sugery Thai food. Perfect amount of spice. I tried the green curry, panang curry and the pad thai across a number of nights and they were consistently excellent along with the service from staff. Thanks to Luke and his staff.

Always yummy food from here - my favorite being the pork belly. Was disappointed when there was no pork belly but that just branched me out to other beautiful options. The vodka is a bit pricey :/ but all in all makes a lovely atmosphere for dinner.

Good authentic Thai flavours. The food is excellent, the prices are in the higher range of what is available in other Darwin establishments of similar quality and variety. Centrally located in the city.

It's refreshing to find a wholly vegetarian establishment, especially when options are limited. While the food may not be exceptional, it does satisfy hunger and caters to dietary preferences effectively. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but this is in keeping with the Darwin standard. Overall, it's a convenient option for vegetarians seeking a meal in the area.

What a hidden gem this mall is. Luckily we stumbled across Simply Foods, as we were peckish. I had the vegetable croquet and spinach/ricotta ball and could not fault it. My mouth was singing! Sorry there was not much food left for the photos as it was too tasty. So many choices, gluten free sugar free, vegan...all in all Simply Foods is Simply Delicious!! One star lacking for no smile with the service.

Not sure why they think UHT milk is acceptable when making a coffee worth $5. Didn’t tell me this when I ordered. Very disappointed, never seen a cafe ever do this in Australia.

Nice little Court to sit out the sun. The Strawberry and Mango juice and kale, apple and Ginger Juice went down a treat. The huge fan was a godsend to cook down.

Fresh, delicious, food. Vegan options so good are rare. I have been a reasonably consistent customer for this alone... the following is why I say "this alone". It is a shame about the service - dismissive and snarky most days that I have been, to the point at which I felt compelled to make comment today. After having bought my lunch here most days, the food is no longer enough to keep me coming back.

Cleanest food, lovingly prepared, very sanitary and nourishing. Vegan, no sugar and gluten free friendly. the juices are superb! Favorite eats I've had in Oz. The liver cleanser juice made my cells party.

lovely to see that "Simply Foods" is still going. A great cafe/restaurant concept that has managed to last the distance, since I opened it in the mid/late 70's. Different location, but sounds like the same menu! I wonder if there are any of the old customers still around?

Unbelievably sad place, no idea of what fine dining is, expensive, terrible food, Nt health department fined the restaurant in 2015 for salmonella outbreak. Staff have no idea of service, wine served after entree, just before main meal, food was served cold, small portions. This place should be closed down to save itself embarrassment. Cheap decor looks like 1950s outfit trying to upsell itself as contemporary fine dining. There's a lot of 5 star rating on this restaurant online, I'm sure it's all done by the stakeholders as no paying person would rate this sad place more than one star.

Degustation here is certainly a treat, step into an elegant setting where your attention is drawn to the spectacular setting sun .Relax on the rear balcony area for a romantic drink. The angled atrium style windows surrounding this restaurant captures the ocean and sunset views and makes you feel like you are dining on the aft of a luxury cruise ship. Service here is very good. The staff are well informed about what they are serving. The food is packed with flavours , fresh and served piping hot . The Degustation menu matched with wines is creative a daring and it all works, in particular, matching the Pinot with the crispy skin local snapper with pickled fennel and orange was a real treat. Plate serving are generous size and 5 courses is perfect. What also makes this degustation special is your ability to customise the courses and the wine matching is changed frequently by the wait staff who are eager to please. The handmade cream pasta is to die for. All in all another great Darwin surprise . I heard a lot about this place but it is just OK, It takes weeks to get the table you want as windows side tables are hard to find. Food is good and served with style but to us it was not worth it.

I was a bit disappointed with my visit. A customer was smoking outside in what was meant to be a non-smoking area. I mentioned it to staff, but it seemed like they were already aware and nothing was done, so the smoking continued. As I’m currently pregnant, this made me feel quite uncomfortable. I really hope the café can take this more seriously in the future, as it would make the space much more enjoyable for everyone. The Cappuccino and cinnamon roll was good

So disappointed. Ordered lunch special fish tacos. Had chips which I did not ask for… ok. No probs…. How about the tacos? The fish tacos… in fairness the fish was cooked well and and the tortillas were toasted nicely. Otherwise it was clear that the cooks have never tasted a fish taco in their life. Grab a battered fillet of flathead… whack it in a tortilla. Pour cups of tartare sauce on it. Top off with soggy tomato and onion impersonating salsa. No green. No coleslaw. I think if these guys didn’t do coffee that they might go out of business. Pretty clear their cooks don’t care about lunch. Wait staff quite good though. Go to to Tom’s over the road. At least they know how to make food taste fresh. Alberto’s not far away do a better coffee and food Do better dukes. 👎

The morning coffee was very weak unfortunately. We had Scrambled eggs served on plain bread. The staff took care to explain a particular dietary request. Table wasn’t cleaned after the last customer.

I walked here for the picture of the pancakes with fruit and ended up getting the avocado. Zero regrets, had no idea what I was ordering but the colours on the plate the flavours and the textures were all top notch. Pretty sure my juice was also fresh squeezed. Happy surprise :)

I have been a customer of Dukes for years and I have seen it getting better and better. They keep upgrading their menu and aiming to improve every time, the presentation of the food is amazing, staff are always friendly and welcoming. The head chef has done catering for a few of my events and the results are always outstanding. Do yourself a favour and visit Dukes Cafe!!

The eggs Benedict with ham on soft toast, spinach and light because but spicy sauce is scrumptious and reasonably priced, so is coffee. Walking distance to centre of town and main bus stop. Great atmosphere, different decor, good for date, must try.

Exceptional. The food was scrumptious, generous, and came fast - order the AVO smash with a side of hollandaise🤤🤤🤤. As with all stand out places, the staff are the secret ingredient. They were full of smiles, kindness, and understanding that kids are kids. Even food on the floor and an impromptu dance sesh was no bother - the tunes were pretty epic so we couldn't help ourselves. Thanks for such a lovely morning!!

Good food and great staff, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. We sat in a booth where someone else's food was still on the floor — the area really needed a thorough clean and table needed a wipe down as it was sticky, pity cause food was really good.

2100 - I went to pick up an Uber Eats order from Grilld Darwin, and while placing the items into my delivery bag (outside the restaurant entrance), I accidentally dropped the Pepsi bottle. As I bent down to pick it up, a short, skinny staff member—(who speak in a high-pitched tone)— sitting outside the restaurant, using phone, suddenly started yelling at me aggressively. Despite me trying to calmly handle the situation, he didn’t allow me to pick up the bottle myself. Instead, he snatched it, called it “damaged” (even though it was completely fine), and then started drinking it himself. This was both unprofessional and shocking. When I politely asked him to speak respectfully, he responded rudely, saying, “Why should I talk to you politely? Who are you?” I felt deeply humiliated. As delivery partners, we work hard to ensure customers receive their food safely and on time. We deserve to be treated with basic respect. Because of how upsetting this experience was, I couldn’t continue delivering for the rest of the night. I’m sharing this in the hope that appropriate action is taken. No one should be subjected to this kind of treatment.

Overdone dry as a bone burger patty. Was asked by staff how is my meal. Told them how overdone it was. Why bother asking if youre not going to do anything about it? Lots of greets, thank yous and good bye come again but empty superficial customer service! I asked for a glass with ice for my softdrink and was told that their ice is only for the cocktails! Seriously? Wow! Sorry, Grill'd Darwin, but not worth it at all.

Grilled never misses. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection — you can taste the quality in every bite. What really sets this place apart though is the customer service. The staff go above and beyond every single time — they’re welcoming, fast, and genuinely make you feel looked after. It’s rare to find a spot where the atmosphere, food, and service all hit the mark, but Grilled nails it effortlessly. Easily one of my favourite places to eat.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years. Friday night unfortunately.. well let’s just say I got food poisoning, symptoms have been confirmed by a GP. This isn’t meant for any negative backlash. But given that you have a high turnover of staff, please ensure that either the stock you get, or the people cooking it understand safe food handling and cooking. I won’t be returning unfortunately due to obvious reasons, and it’s no fault of the businesses. But the last thing I even want to look at is a menu or food from here after the last 48 hrs I’ve endured. Pretty horrible ending to a place I loved coming to.

Ordered 2 burgers sweet potato.fries and a salad and uber eats delivered potato chips and chicken nuggets, then took it away again. Uber eats didn’t want to know and blamed restaurant. Called restaurant and young woman on the phone was rude and didn’t seem to care less. Said oh well if you were here we could reimburse you but because your not, then there’s nothing we can do- tell Uber Eats. We had no food for dinner and had left overs. Great service- Not!

i often go weekly with my client, the staff are super helpful and understanding, easy to approach if a meal is incorrect from either our end or there’s. regardless they go above and beyond to fix without a hassle. they are super welcoming and greet you by name (as we are there weekly!) they all work so hard as a team and the two lads that are always in the kitchen are legends. appreciate this team thankyou guys!
