Vibes on full! And the food & drink matches!! I tried the pistachio cold foam iced latte and it’s to die for (I don’t even like pistachio) haha and it was unreal! Sweet, cool, and nutty! And the poached chicken bowl was nourishing and healthy! Staff was so prompt, and every single one greeted me. You must go here!

Sweet or savoury or somewhere in between - your taste buds will thank you for eating at Laneway Coffee! Amazing vibe, great team members who happy to answer any questions, atmosphere is fantastic amongst all the plants and more importantly they know how to make a good coffee. Very packed on a Friday morning compared to the other cafés and bakeries around. We ordered an eggs benny, a toastie, and two coffees. Interestingly, the eggs benny came out before the coffee, which isn’t usually the case elsewhere. It was served with smoked salmon and spinach on sourdough. The portion was just right for one, so we ended up ordering another toastie to share from the takeaway menu. Taste-wise, the eggs benny was average, and the ham and cheese toastie was pretty standard as well. Coffee was fine, nothing standout. Do note there’s a credit card surcharge, so I opted to pay cash. Prices are as listed on the menu with no extra taxes or hidden charges.

I got the famous Indo brekkie bowl with halloumi side and it was amazing, sambal was spicy but could be easily avoided and the cucumber made it nice and fresh too. I’ve also had their nourish bowl and chili scram, both of which I would recommend to friends. Their coffee is tasty, smooth and always made really well

Great breaky, coffee and vibe but get some new knives. 🔪 I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs – it was delicious – although I would’ve loved a little more kick. My only criticism, and a pet peeve, is that the knife provided does not cut through their delicious crusty bread. Although entertaining – I don’t generally enjoy fighting with my breaky. Please give us some serrated knives. The coffee is always top notch, haven’t had a bad one yet.

Really glad we stopped into Laneway. The coffee was good, the menu was okay. I had the chilli scrambled eggs and my partner had the laneway breakfast. A tad on the expensive side but that’s okay. The eggs are amazing. The venue is lovely, although too loud. I could hardly hear my partner and we were very close to the person next to us. I would recommend laneway though, even if you just grab take away coffees.

Shared a large cinnamon palmiere here this morning 2/9/24, gorgeous pastry, super fresh finger licking good. The rest of the pastry delights looked amazing. Coffee was very good, service was friendly and efficient. The brunch/lunch menu looked interesting and we'll be back to try it. We sat outside in the front to catch the breeze as it was too hot for us inside. Great looking place, too bad its not the sort of building that lends itself to better cooling. Highly recommend a stop here.

there’s a car park inside I first didnt know it so I drove around the road seeing some car parked along the street but then I went inside and asked the staff and I just knew that there’s a car park inside not many bays and luckily I can park my car there. I found the coffee really good. I ordered a Macca iced. It’s a big cup I love it. I also love the atmosphere at this coffee shop.

One of Darwin's best kept secrets. It took me a year to find this place Has the feel of a great cafe. Only place I know in Darwin that stocks a good almond croisant. That alone sets it apart. This place is real.

Went for a quick lunch & really enjoyed the Reuben sandwich & was impressed on how it was presented. Had a 'to die for' drink from the daily specials board so be sure to read that...so so good 👏👏

Can't even afford a new cup? And it's not even clean. Ordered a peacan tart which the waitress completely forgot about it, I had to went back to the counter and asked for it.

Nice cafe with a LOT of options!!! The cashier explained the menus and was very helpful. I was so glad this unique cafe was open around 1430 (2:30pm) as everything around seemed to be closed from 1300-1730. The chef was very nice and brought my pizza out personally. The pizza was very tasty and had just the right balance of toppings. Thanks for saving the day, chef!

We are staying in Darwin for a few days and we’re just wandering around checking out the place and looking for dinner. We are so glad we went in. The service is great and the cafe has an awesome vibe about it. Service was great, we were told up front it was a 30min wait as they were busy, it was only a little longer than what they advised, but we were ok to wait. We popped back the next day for breakfast, although I was really looking forward to the deserts in their display case - that’s next on my list of things to try from Salvatores before we leave Darwin next week !

Love Salvatore's but last couple of online pickup orders have been a bit disappointing 😞.. 2mths ago we ordered Fish'n'chips and burgers and they were amazing.. not sure if its a different chef but definitely a change. I hv included pics.

Food is bit of hit and miss. Ate here twice. First time experience was better. Eggs benedict and breakfast burger were nice. The environment was enjoyable and staff service was great.

A great place for breakfast. Cafe 21 is on the Mall next to the news agency . Service was excellent. The food was delicious. I loved my Açai bowl full of fruit and so filling. We sat outside. This would be perfect in the dry season sitting outside. Highly recommend if visiting Darwin.

Perhaps I came on a bad day, or maybe we just ordered the wrong thing, but our meals weren't that great. Firstly, I dont really understand why the egg was served ontop of the sandwich, the aesthetic looks cool for picture, but the practicality of it made it awkward to eat. There was no sauce served with the chips, maybe im just silly and should of ordered extra, but I kind of just assumed there would be sauce added to the side already like they do in other places. Thats my bad. The burger was quite oily and although it didn't taste totally bad, it's made us never want to come again. Im sure its a great breakfast place for other people, but we genuinely didnt enjoy it that much. Im sorry. I will say however, the drinks and smoothies were great. And I remember eating a chicken salad there years ago which was delicious.

Really nice Cafe to eat in, and the coffee was great. I ordered the pancakes and unfortunately they were pretty raw, so it made them extremely chewy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful though.

The food at Alfonsino's is absolutely delicious! We couldn't fault any dish, and we went twice to try more from the menu. The manager/front of house man is so efficient. It has limited tables so make sure you book. Booking online is easy. Kids' meals are available and juat as tasty as the main menu. Highly recommended.

We arrived without a reservation and were kindly offered the last table available, just outside the kitchen. While the seating was a little hard (seat pads would be a thoughtful touch for this spot), I really appreciated that the team made space for us and apologized for the size of the table – thank you for the warm welcome 🙏🏻. For entrees, we had the seafood gratin which was delicious. A small suggestion would be to serve it with a little dressing on the salad and a wedge of lemon for the seafood – it would have really lifted the dish. Next came the Pizza Peppeniello, which was absolutely outstanding – one of the best pizza bases and overall pizzas I’ve ever had, even compared to those I’ve tried in Naples, Italy! Truly impressive, bravo 👏. We also enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara, which was expertly made and beautifully balanced. Overall, Alfonsino’s delivers excellent Italian cuisine with authentic flavors and a real passion for their food. With a few minor tweaks, it would easily be a perfect experience. Highly recommended if you’re in Darwin and craving real Italian!

Go there for the pizzas ! The dough is particularly delicious. Pastas are average. Shame that you cannot enjoy a S.Pellegrino sparkling water in an Italian restaurant, despite you find them in the supermarket. You better eat your pizza with your hands as the knives don’t even cut butter. Terrace is quiet and cosy at dusk. The tiramisu is ok, pistachio panna cotta is good. 4 stars still thanks to the excellent quality of the pizzas (prosciutto cotto e funghi).

Lovely outdoor dining. The food was outstanding. We had the linguine Alfredo and garlic cheese pizza. Finished with a pistachio cheesecake and vanilla Panna cotta for dessert. Jackie our waitress for the night was just lovely. Would highly recommend.

On Saturday afternoon, we visited Rendezvous Café. It wasn’t too busy, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were very friendly. The café has a pleasant atmosphere and is kept clean and tidy. The service was impressively quick. I highly recommend trying the satay chicken with peanut sauce—it was absolutely delicious. The special fried rice and the combination dishes were also excellent. However, the seafood egg noodles were a bit too salty for my taste, and the seafood quality didn’t meet my expectations. Many people rave about their laksa. While I’m not a fan of laksa myself, it might be worth a try if you enjoy it. Overall, it was a good experience!

We were staying at the Hilton Darwin for one night and chose this restaurant for proximity to hotel and previous reviews. We were not disappointed. Lovely staff and fantastic food. It's BYOB but they told us that when we phoned to book so bought a bottle of wine to take with us. We'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

My partner lived in Darwin over 10 years ago and used to visit this restaurant all the time for the Laksa, at its old location. She wanted to bring me here for dinner and to enjoy the Laksa again. I had chicken and beef Laksa and it was phenomenal. Flavours were fantastic and the beef was so tender and basically melted in your mouth. Only in Darwin for a week but going to be stopping back in here for sure.

I celebrated my birthday there and another amazing experience! lovely and excellent staff Wendy and Masa! exceeded our expectations! thank you for the surprise dessert given by Gloria(owner) for free. Highly recommended! We will come back again as the food is very scrumptious! thank u again!

I ordered the won ton soup with extra won tons. When it came it had 4 won tons in it. I asked if they forgot the extra won tons- I get 5 won tons and an extra 5 at another place, which I prefer but they happened to be closed that evening. No you got your extra won tons was the reply- so I then clarified- so your WON TON SOUP only has 2 won tons? Yes was the reply!!! Absolutely embarrassed for them and won’t go again!!!!

A lovely little cafe with outdoor and indoor tables, stools, and bench seating. The menu has a range of options to choose from, and its offerings are diverse. We highly recommend the Japanese pancake with mushrooms and the eggs benedict with ham. Both were absolutely delicious. The coffee is great! Cappuccino and piccolo. Actually, it was one of the best brunches we had in Darwin, if not the best! Our main server was friendly and remembering meals need to be cooked, it was quick service.

Andrea makes superb coffee it was made to perfection. It’s a really nice cozy cafe with a great outdoor sitting area too. Overall very good customer experience keep up the great hospitality and service :)

We happened across this quaint cafe whilst exploring Darwin’s various arcades. In fact, this location is unique as it used to be the old, open air cinema. The butterscotch muffin was decadent and delicious and the special, four cheese toastie is worth the extra cholesterol on your arteries - yum!

Nice little Cafe in a tiny square with outdoor seating under a canopy of trees, a little oasis. A nice setting and good place to chill.

I’ve been to a few places around Darwin for coffee, and this is by far my favorite. The food was incredibly delicious. And I was really surprised by how good the salad dressing was. And that’s coming from someone who isn’t a big fan of vegetables. I wasn’t going to eat it, but it was that good I wanted to.  Not a bad menu selection, either.

Quality ingredients make the food here so good. Coffee excellent, and I’m a good coffee addict! Tucked away, not always busy but worth the search.

My recent visit to Karma Cafe was far from positive. The strawberry pancakes were a significant letdown. The bottom of the stack was disappointingly soggy, almost watery, which completely ruined the texture. The promised maple syrup seemed to be absent, or if present, undetectable – the flavor was certainly lacking. It neither looked nor tasted like genuine maple syrup had been used. Frankly, it was a far cry from what I'd expect, especially for a weekly special. My flat white was equally average, and the service was indifferent. Overall, a disappointing experience that fell short of expectations, especially given the cafe's reputation.

Great place for breakfast. I should visit again before moving to Brisbane. ;)

This little gem was a surprise I stumbled upon one day and I'm glad I went back to confirm that it wasn't just a once off good experience. Great coffee. Delicious food, so many great options it's hard to choose 👀 Bacon cooked to perfection 🥓👌 A choice of portion sizes for if you just want a light breaky. Amazing smoothies, had to wrestle it away from my kid so I could have some 😄 I could go on and on! The staff are lovely too, it is refreshing to be treated like a human and not just a number. Will definitely be back for more! 💯💯💯

This is a great place for breakfast/ brunch. The coffee, smoothie bowls and pancakes we had were delicious. It’s a bit tricky to find, tucked behind a play area, look out for the chalk board sign they put out! Worth the cab ride to visit.

Go there!! We went there 3 days in a row for breakfast/lunch. Every meal was excellent and made with care. A lot of choice as well. The omelette filled with vegetables was my favorite! I wish we we're still there to go back. Highly recommended!!!!

Many healthy options and excellent and beautifully presented coffee. There is charging here if you Drive a tesla also. The staff are friendly and very fit which ties in.nicely with the cafes theme. I foolishly Forgot to photograph my bacon.and eggs. They were well presented too! I Think the sign should read 'Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you never imagined`

The fresh juice was great, I was a little disappointed with the service as unfortunately they were busy and I was in a hurry but definitely would return in a less time sensitive capacity

Bought cookies and banana bread and the taste was look like expired. The banana bread was hard and not even taste. The brownie was delicious and tasty. I just want to visit a cafe who got delicious food with great quality even if the prices high and I am happy to visit everyday but the food is not a good quality and the price is too high. I believe it not good for customer and business. It just opinion. Thank you

Wow! What a great find in Darwin. Staff is super friendly they have some great takeaway options - tried two of the salads and loved them! The flat white coffee is spot on! You can takeaway or sit and overlook the street. They are a breakfast and lunch spot so grab what you need early!

Ate here a couple of times when in Darwin recently. Very good service and quality bakery items, including a really great breakfast menu. This place opens eraly, 6am, so great for me who was here for work and needed a nice coffee first thing in the morning. Staff very professional and pleasant!

THE BEST PIES EVER! Seriously, go grab a pie! Had the Chicken Pie and the Laksa-the Pie was divine! Coffee is always a deal breaker, Coffee here passed the test. Also had the custard filled iced doughnut a couple of times, delicious! Sell a whole range of sandwiches etc, hubby had the Hawaiian Chicken Schnitzel roll, toasted. 100% recommend a visit-will miss our visits when we go home.

Nice bakery, staff where just closing up as I got there but where kind enough to still take my order and got to sample one of the party pie which are delicious. Food is a little on the expensive side but is so tasty and worth it. Coffee is also, is in a very handy location if staying at the Oaks as is just around the corner and the food is a lot better than the hotels restaurant.

Absolutely love this place!! We came every day on our holiday. Really good coffee and all the food items we tried were delicious!! We had the vegemite scrolls, croissants, doughnuts, Spinach and feta quiche, and sandwiches, which were filled so generously with fresh salad. Reasonable price for such high quality. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and helped us out when my partner dropped his coffee!! Couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you everyone at Ben's!!

Loved how peaceful it was on a Saturday morning, with most of the crowd over at the market. We ordered a toastie, a roll, and coffee. It tasted like salt was sprinkled instead of pepper, so both the toast and roll were on the salty side. Still, I appreciated being able to customize my toastie by removing the cheese and adding an egg.

The bakery boasts an impressive range of baked goods. However, the apple donut left a bit to be desired in terms of moisture and flavor. The veggie pie was ok, but a little spicy. It would be appreciated if the service could be a touch more amiable and understanding, especially when warming up items is requested. A suitable spot to drop in if you're in the area, but not a top priority to visit.

The pies taste great, but the last 3 times I've brought them over the last month they are cold, tried again today only just warm. Sorry 3 strikes I've told the staff, seems like falling on deaf ears. That's the last time. A pity been getting great hot pies for years from there.

Have had both Takeaway breakfast & lunch .Food fantastic, & sourdough bread is really good but far too long a wait for the food ,especially just for a toastie as they were premade just had to be toasted .Staff were friendly enough .

Friendly service, decent coffee and food. It's outside of the Foodcourt which gives it an advantage as it's in a quieter spot outside of big W. The coffee was hot, they even have smiley faces on the bottom of the coffee cups looking up as you drink. It's hard not to get a little happy when you see that. Also their rewards system will get you every fifth coffee free plus a coffee and muffin on your birthday.

No offer to warm up cakes. My daughter had a Duffin and I had a scone. Both tasted stale and would have been better warmed through. The scone in particular was dry and crusty around the edges and doughy in the middle. Not the first bad experience here - even when not busy

The Duffins are still AMAZBALLS!!! But the furniture let it down alot, it was rather rickety, dirty and the leathers seats were ripped. If you want 5 stars your dining area needs to be looked after too.

Service is slow and variety of products is poor! We went there late morning specifically for the Duffin - "giggle, giggle, there's none, everyone keeps asking for them!" Doh, well, why not stock what people want? We finally received our order - the vanilla slice was disgusting (hubby left 3/4 of it) and we weren't given paper napkins with our food. Queue again, no customers ahead of me, but no, we are too busy talking behind the counter. We help ourselves to the napkins, when we finally found them, only to be given the stare of death. We won't be back!

Took them ages to make a small hot chocolate while they were serving other people that came after me. No apology given whatsoever. Cake slice was horrible too. Won't be coming back.

Amazing ice-cream ever, probably the best ice cream store in Darwin. However I am only giving it 4 stars because the lady working kept rushing me and not letting me consider my options (btw I was the only customer there, and this was like last year).

I had a wonderful experience at Baskin Robbins. Their ice cream cakes and donuts were absolutely delicious, and they have an extensive selection of ice cream flavors to choose from. The staff was easy to deal with and very accommodating. I highly recommend visiting the BR Casuarina location for any future celebrations.

The ice cream cakes at Baskin Robbins are delicious. Taking a bite into them is not a blast of sugar, instead it is smooth and very tasty. Try them and enjoy them. They have so many flavors to choose from! Also they have a quick turn around time of 2 days.

Grab a beach day, flavour of the month ice-cream, purple with little turtle chocolate inside, also something like waffle or caramelized sugar in it, very yummy and delicious. Friendly staff and quick service. 🍨

I will forever love the Marble bread, Sausage bun and Garlic Bread. The garlic bread is delicious and crunchy, the sausage bun is savoury and delicious and the marble bread is good when you want to snack on something.

I bought a ham and cheese bread from Breadtop Casuarina yesterday. I noticed there were a couple of flies around the area where the breads are stored, but didn’t think much of it at the time. Unfortunately, today I started experiencing diarrhoea and vomiting. I would not recommend purchasing from this store.

The bread didn’t taste good, it was overpriced, and the staff were rude. Very disappointing experience.

Couple times I’ve been ordering through Uber eat, and I add note to write on the cake happy birthday and when I receive the order, they write on piece of paper on the top of the box it says happy birthday!!! really. The first time was funny, but it’s keep happening.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this cake shop. The cake I received was nothing like the reference photo I shared. The design and quality were far from what was promised, and it did not meet my expectations at all. On top of that, they charged me extra for add-ons that were never even included in the final cake. I trusted them based on the reference cake I showed, but the actual result was completely different and not worth the money I paid. To make things worse, the customer service was extremely poor. The attendant was very rude, refused to take any responsibility, and didn’t even apologise for the mistake. I have attached photos of both the reference cake and the actual cake so others can see the difference. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality, honesty, or respectful service.

Has been absolutely impossible to speak to the store manager, have sent an email, gone into the shop multiple times and still haven’t heard anything from the store manager. Bought unicorn cake, cut into it and no choc buttons. Originally wanted the rainbow cake but bought unicorn for the spill of chocolate. Went in day after to complain, they told me to email. Then after 1 week of not hearing anything, went into the shop. The lady walks to the back, I’m guessing to speak to the manager. Comes back and says they can give $10 for the missing chocolate. Not happy with that as the rainbow cake which is also a 2 midi and what we originally wanted but we went for the unicorn cake for the chocolate spill was half the price of the unicorn cake. We didn’t get what we paid for at all. Told the lady to get the manager to call me or get in Contact because I’m not happy. It’s now a month after I’ve bought the cake and still no contact. Absolutely disgusted and disappointed with the store and the way the manager has handled this. Was a loyal customer who gets every cakes yearly for everything but will not be returning. Disgusting service from the store manager.

I'm a big fan of the cakes from Cheesecake Shop. I absolutely love this place because of its wide selection of desserts that are always fresh and of high quality. The staff is very friendly and made my experience enjoyable. For a recent celebration, I purchased a Quad Choc Baked and chocolate mud cake, both of which were well-received and delicious. The mud cake was rich in chocolate flavor and incredibly moist, while the baked cheesecakes were consistently good. I order cakes from this shop for every family member's birthday.

Bought a cake from parap cheese cake shop and got a hair in a cake. Really disappointed with customer service. She did not even say sorry and all she did was just reply like its normal for them to get such complaints. She even said that we can get a hair in anything and gave an example that if you go to hungry jacks you can get hair in anything. Thats not justifiable at all. Rude customer service ever. No apology at all looks like its normal and regular complaints. They ruined our birthday. There is no option for 0 star if not my review would be 0.

The customer service of this shop is extremely poor. The girl who was Chinese tall name was “Vera” or whatsoever serving us was quite rude. 0 knowledge of customer service and attitude in on point! She was throwing box and touching our cake without hand gloves. This is totally unhinged. The owner needs to find someone who actually knows the service.

Asked the lovely staff to help with an original Belgian mud cake with a twist. Mum loves rocky road so had the staff chop up some of there stock to place on top in order to turn a birthday cake into a double dessert cake. Turned out beautifully.

The açai bowl was a great size and absolutely delicious with fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Tom was super friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!!

Best Açai bowl I have ever had. I have never been impressed by an Açai bowl until now. Massive portion size, delicious açai and stacked with fruit. Tom is also the best dude out there. Would highly recommend!

owner was so nice and the food was immaculate. The açai bowls has to be the best in town and again the service quality is exceptional. Tried it for the first time today and came back a few hours later for more. 100/10 experience must try.

We’ve had brunch at Lagoon Cafe several times, and it has always been a great experience. The food is delicious, fresh, and budget-friendly. Their breakfast plates and coffee are excellent, and the fresh smoothies and juices are absolutely amazing. The service is quick, and the atmosphere is really nice. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in Darwin!

Origin cafe and kebabs is fantastic! The menu includes a range of delicious kebabs and refreshing açai bowls. The owner is very friendly and provides great hospitality. 10/10.
