Disco club
Located in the heart of Mexico City, the disco club Azúcar is a popular spot for dancing to music from the 1970s and 1980s. The venue has a retro atmosphere, with decorations including big screen TVs and retro lighting. It's also often crowded with people who come to listen to live music or watch dance performances.
Bar staff were lovely especially the younger girl, one of the best nights of mine and my mates life’s, music could be bit better and it was €10 to get in with drink included but well worth it.
Hehe H — Google review
Great dancing! So much awesome dancers on one dancefloor. I recommend to go there on saturday, as we did. You pay 5 euros and get welcome drink in the price. The only one thing is that the music is tooooo loud. That´s why I give 4 stars instead of 5.
Anna Č — Google review
Saturday night. Arrived at 2.30am. Very quiet for a nightclub. DJ left the club at 5am. 5 euro entrance to include a drink on arrival. Alot of reggaeton played, less salsa. More atmosphere needed.
John L — Google review
Lots of salsa, bachata and meringue. Very quiet but that's not a problem as plenty space for dancing. 5 euro entrance ticket includes a drink.
Ewelina — Google review
Bad music, mostly bachata. Manager of this club must be blind. If you would change music there would be a lot of more people.
Kuba — Google review
No customers on Sunday, no possibility to check what's inside, poor english on the entrance, mojito taste like squizzed socks :) 5€ obligatory is like to buy a cat in the sack.
J J — Google review
The drinks and design are ok, but in a Saturday night (in Tenerife) they play only Spanish music. It is an worldwide brand Tenerife and can't play only local music.

Blanco Bar is a vibrant nightlife destination in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. Situated on the northern belt of the resort town, it offers an exciting mix of classic and creative cocktails alongside live music and renowned DJs. The venue hosts live bands, theater performances, and comedy sketches, making it a versatile spot for entertainment. With its well-decorated interior and friendly staff, Blanco Bar provides an incredibly pleasant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy a night out.
a good place to relax if you are a tourist and want to hang out somewhere then it is worth visiting
Careless A — Google review
Late night licences pub / bar with a club room with and dance area out back. This venue is typically small and has bouncers on the door. Expensive drinks in relation to bottles €4.5 euro for a small size so near double the average around here. 2025. Lady’s get out early until till tipsy picking up the courage crossing there fingers while waiting to catch the eye of younger fellows arriving later, rather a venue where you might meet your match with a happy ending. 25:50 age range 50/50 locals or tourist mixed.
Onion F — Google review
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Blanco Bar My visit to Blanco Bar in Puerto de la Cruz was deeply disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the bouncers were rude and unwelcoming – not a great first impression. The drinks were poorly made, watered down, and tasted artificial. The dartboard was essentially unusable due to broken and damaged darts, showing a clear lack of maintenance and care. What concerned me most, however, was the bar’s completely negligent approach to safety. If you want to step outside for a cigarette, you’re forced to leave your drink inside, unattended. Given how common drink spiking has become, this is simply unacceptable. To protect myself, I deliberately placed my drink within my line of sight. Despite this, staff repeatedly moved it into a dark corner with about 20 other glasses – completely out of view. When I politely asked to keep my drink visible while I wasn’t holding it, the staff showed zero understanding. Also because I heard about spiking attacks in this bar, i wanted to be more than careful. Instead of addressing the concern, I was thrown out of the bar – allegedly for “smoking indoors,” which never happened. I had simply reached in with an outstretched arm to reposition my drink where I could see it. This level of disrespect and disregard for customer safety is appalling. The behavior of the staff was not only unprofessional but downright hostile. I strongly advise avoiding this bar if you value your well-being, your drink, or even just a basic level of respect.
Max B — Google review
Really disappointing. I was already inside the bar, had ordered drinks (which honestly weren’t very good), and then stepped outside for a moment. When I tried to go back in just to find my friends, they suddenly refused to let me in because I didn’t have my ID with me – even though I’m 21. Makes no sense, especially since I had already been inside and spent money there. Very unprofessional way to treat guests.
Mo J — Google review
great bar with a front area that is easier to talk in and a DJ area.

Really good night out with a mixture of Spanish and English music, drinks were reasonably priced and was just a great night out.

Playa Jardín, or Garden Beach, is a lively city beach known for its black sand and vibrant atmosphere. The beach complex was designed by Canarian artist Cesar Manrique and features three sections of black sand beaches: Castillo, Charcon, and Punta Brava. The area is adorned with endemic plants, stone walls, and cascades, creating a pleasant botanical garden feel.
Amazing beach, black volcanic sand
Sergiu C — Google review
Decided to try here for snorkeling, we found where the sand was with no rocks but as soon as we got into the water there were rocks everywhere causing a few bashed ankles. However once passed the waves which were enormous the water was calm enough to snorkel but the water was so cloudy and dark you couldn't see anything! Beach was nice enough really hot black sand. Needs more showers and maybe a little privacy area for parents who think it's okay to let their children shower naked whilst others are waiting to shower!
Terrie M — Google review
Easy black sand beach , a Clean beach with great scenic views. Red flag days the beach is marked with Plastic Red tape. Deterring from the beauty of the beach. Maybe a nautical rope would be more aesthetically pleasing. Beautiful walk that leads to 3 other beaches and a quaint cafe that closes up around 3pm. A lovely sunset walk and lounging till sunset:)
Yeni ( — Google review
Amazing beach! The garden is just stunning with loads of plants, trees and flowers The water doesn’t have as many stones as the other beaches in Puerto De la Cruz There also a very nice restaurant and available sun beds
Monica M — Google review
Very nice and calming! With black sand and slow tides and cold water (Atlantic as usual)
Ramya R — Google review
Nice beach with black sand and restaurant where you can have coffee and cold drinks and also pizza. 1 Sunbed 3e.
M R — Google review
One of the best beaches in Puerto de la Cruz. Easier to get to the ocean as there aren't too many rocks. The downsides would be no showers + often closed for swimming due to the weather conditions / dangerous waves. Still recommend over e.g. Martianez.

(Translated by Google) Super nice terrace with a very good atmosphere and good music where you can have a relaxed drink. Attention of 10, the guys at the bar were very attentive, they explained to us that it is set up in a typical Canarian house, renovated and in operation for only 3 months. And for those of us who like billiards, a little billiards while having a Black label with ice 👌. Super nice, to repeat. (Translated by Google) We were at the pub this weekend. We were a group of friends and ordered separately. We ordered drinks and what was the surprise when none of us had ordered premium drinks but there was quite a difference in prices (Maybe because of the difference in Canarian and Peninsular accents?). We ask for the ticket to check the price and the waiter answers "come when there are no people", even more of a surprise. We continued at the bar and did not leave. We asked another waiter and he kept us waiting for approximately 20 minutes. We were going to ask for the claim form when they brought us the ticket. One of the drinks tells us that it does not have them in the box and that is why it appears differently. On the ticket there was less price than what they charged us, but when paying in cash we could not prove it. Of course, this place and all the circumstances that happened to us leave a lot to be desired. I will not return, there are pubs in the area that have much friendlier treatment and no scams.

Compostelana Avenida is a popular pizzeria with a well-attended and friendly atmosphere. Visitors praise the delicious food, particularly the Mexican pizza and pasta dishes. While some encountered communication challenges with the staff, they found the service to be overall great. The outdoor area is wheelchair accessible, making it an inclusive dining option for all. Despite minor points like TV screens showing football matches, patrons appreciate the cozy ambiance and express intentions of returning due to their positive experiences.
The place is good, has both the inside and outside areas. The food was delicious. However the hamburger comes with the sweet sauce and caramelized onions, if you don’t like your burger like that keep that in mind. The waiter was welcoming and helped with all the questions.

We enjoyed everything, from the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, to the great food and atmosphere. The pizza specials were delicious and the paella was just great, both served great and tasty! Plenty of desserts to choose from as well. Would totally recommend.
Darko — Google review
Paella we had was really tasty! They ask you if the portion is for 1 or 2 people, but the two of us would leave satisfied with the 1-person dish. Unfortunately, the pizza was saturated with cheese, killing the other tastes. We were also advised that the waiting time would be ~30min and it was rather 40min.
K W — Google review
We were so satisfied the first time that we came back 1 week later. The food was very good and the service staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, on our 2nd visit, the food didn't came to the table at the same time. We had to wait for the other 2 dishes about 10 minutes. The pizzas here are very delicious. It's worth trying! the brownie for dessert was also very delicious. It would be nice if music was running in the background.

Very decent food, friendly staff. Try the “principe Alberto”, I have not tried such a good dessert in a long time. I strongly recommend quitting the 237 ml coke. This is very disappointing and restaurants should not accept this from coca-cola. Other than this 5 stars

El Taller de Seve Diaz is a stylish Mediterranean-inspired restaurant located in the picturesque town of Puerto de la Cruz, known for its volcanic-sand beaches in northwest Tenerife. Run by renowned chef Seve Diaz and his sister Lily, the open kitchen allows guests to witness the creation of imaginative Mediterranean cuisine using high-quality seasonal produce.
Superb food. Best meal without a star I have had for over a year. I rated four course at two stars or maybe more. At some point somebody at Michelin will come to their senses. Need to book three months in advance, now you know why…
Jens L — Google review
We had the pleasure of dining at this fine restaurant on two separate evenings. After our first visit, we were so impressed that we knew we had to return once more before our departure — and we were able to do so two days later. On both occasions, we chose the six-course tasting menu. With the exception of the amuse-bouche and one dessert, the menus were different each time. They included two starters, two main courses, and two desserts, all for €65. We were thoroughly impressed by the creativity of each dish, and every course was a delight in terms of flavor. The service was also excellent — each dish was carefully explained to us in detail. One small suggestion for improvement: it would be nice to have the menu written down somewhere, so that guests can later recall and appreciate what they had the pleasure of enjoying. All in all, a highly recommended experience.

unforgettable dining experience! We were so grateful that the manager and team were able to find us a last-minute reservation it truly felt like a gift. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the chefs are simply artists. Every dish was like a performance, beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious for me, the food is a true 10/10. The atmosphere is elegant and calm, maybe even a bit too quiet for my personal taste, but still very refined. If you’re in Tenerife, make sure to book in advance so you don’t miss the chance to experience it. Thank you so much to the whole team for giving us such a memorable evening!

Outstanding restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz. From start to end, all has been amazing. Very friendly and knowledgable staff that show a real passion for food & wine. We took the 6 course surprise dinner including a wine pairing. Very rich flavours in all dishes & the wine pairing consisted of only national wines. We felt we even got more quality then what we paid for, well done!

Exceptional food and dining experience. Each course excelled at highlighting the wonderful ingredients Tenerife has to offer. The care the chefs had through each individial dish that was served was out of this world. From start to finish every dish was a new and different flavour explosion. Thanks again for a night we won't forget.

Gluten-free options available when booking online. Enjoy delicious dishes with the true taste of the island! As someone who grew up as Chicharrera (Tenerife islander), I can say this modern interpretation of Canarian cuisine is sublime. I’ll definitely be coming back soon🌟
Claudia S — Google review
Very very good. The food is exceptional excellent. No idea why this restaurant has no Michelin star (maybe to some incomprehensible rules of Michelin). Especially the "Egg at low temperature" is a very creative composition. I would even think to travel again to Tenerife to eat here again...
Christian S — Google review
The food was excellent and accompanied by detailed explanations for each of the 11 courses. The lamb and tuna taco were really delicious. We weren't particularly keen on the prawn dish, but it was interesting and well-executed. The first few courses came out quite quickly, but we had a long drive back to the South after dinner, so didn't mind this too much. The only real misstep was serving a peanut petit four with our coffee when we had made clear (on the day and in advance) that one of us had a peanut allergy. The meal was still enjoyable, but this part of the service needs some attention

The menu features a variety of traditional dishes, with their renowned potatoes with mojo being a must-try. Visitors praise the delicious food and clean facilities, making it an ideal choice for those seeking local culinary experiences.
Best Canarian potatoes we have had! This restaurant is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful square. The owners are friendly and quite rightly they are proud of their special, which is the Canarian potatoes, something you see in every restaurant here but none have sauces that come even close to the one's served here. The rest of the menu is great quality and very reasonable prices. 👌

What an amazing place! We are so glad we went to Arcón Tapas. The sauces for the papas arrugadas are the best we've ever had. The chilli oil addition was outstanding. We love chilli oil and, again, this was some of the best we've had. We also had the rabbit which was lush. Arcón Tapas is home cooked food of great quality. Everyone working there was nice and the skill that went into flavouring the dishes was immense. If you get the chance, go to this excellent place.

My very first Canarian potatoes with Mojo Verde on Tenerife – served with grilled calamari – and I was absolutely thrilled! Everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. The staff were super friendly, and the chef even mixed the sauce himself – offering a spicy version if you wanted it! Nestled in the vibrant heart of Puerto de la Cruz, Vinoteca Con Pasión is a delightful haven for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This charming venue boasts an impressive array of both local and international wines, expertly curated by knowledgeable sommeliers who are eager to guide you through your tasting experience. The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting, making it perfect for those looking to indulge in gourmet dishes paired with exquisite wines.
Would have never found it without Google Maps, despite being minutes from the main strip. Great wee place though. Small but well formed tapas menu. They do a bit of Med/Eastern fusion. The peanut chicken is interesting, enjoyed it. The prawn with curry is just excellent. As are the anchovies. But anyway, it's a wine bar, and the selection is vast, and all heroically local (some from Iberia, but mostly much closer). Tried the Brut Valeoro, a sparkling wine from just up the hill. Stupendous. You won't get these wines at home because they don't make so much, but try them when you are here.

This is an amazing wine and tapas experience. The food is very good, and the deserts are excellent. We had the wine flight with two white and two reds, then some cava, and coffee. Definitely worth a visit. The wine list is extensive, so ask for recommendations - each recommendation was excellent.

As wine lovers, we have found the best address in Puerto Cruz here - everything else doesn't even come close. The wines by the glass are well chosen, there is often more to choose from than listed on the menu and the consultation is very good. You can also buy the wine in the shop next door and drink it the next evening in the hotel. The tapas were innovative, very tasty and varied. The service is perfect and attentive. We've been here twice in 9 days and we don't normally go to the same restaurant twice. My number one recommendation in Puerto Cruz.

A lovely restaurant with an excellent wine menu. A small but interesting food menu with beautifully prepared tapas and salads. The croquettes were 10/10 and the tropical salad with curried prawns was our favourite salad of the 2 week holiday. Update- We visited again this week and had amazing food and wine. The restaurant gets extremely busy, so book in advance if possible.

Live music bar
Las Tejas Verdes is a bar located on the outskirts of La Romana. It offers Spanish music to its patrons, as well as cocktails and beers. The music that is played here is very authentic, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The goat meat that they serve here is some of the best that I have ever had, and their mojo verde sauce was an excellent addition to it.
The best live music and cocktails bar!!! You can dance outside or stay and listen live music. The best very tasty cockatils... should try. Nice people and amazing experince. For sure will be return next time.
Dan S — Google review
Las Tejas Verdes is the kind of place you don’t just stumble upon, u discover it. And once you do, you never forget it. This is where the true spirit of the Canary Islands comes alive. It's culture in its purest form raw, heartfelt, and completely unfiltered. From the aged wood interiors to the vintage charm, everything about this place whispers stories of time and tradition. It was my last stop in Tenerife, and somehow, it turned out to be the most memorable. Las Tejas Verdes didn’t just end my trip, it defined it. The warmth, the authenticity, the music, the atmosphere... it all came together in a way that made me feel like I belonged there. This bar is more than just a place to grab a drink it's an experience I’ll always carry with me. I’ll forever cherish my time here, and I truly believe it’s one of the most special spots in all of Tenerife.

We went back for more after walking in for just a quick drink but stayed because of the amazing service by the lady behind the bar. She was doing everything, serving drinks, taking orders and making the most amazing mojitos. Full of locals and the music was fun. Great prices too!

Real autentic Canarian and Spanish music, nice service, pleasant atmosphere.
Irina B — Google review
Tucked away from the noise of modern life, this bar feels like stepping into another era—a place where time has kindly paused to let the music speak. The dim lights, the worn wooden furniture, the scent of old rum and salt air—everything whispers of stories lived and shared. The heart of the bar beats strongest through its live music. Every night, seasoned musicians take the small stage, their hands worn but graceful, their voices cracked but rich with emotion. They sing boleros that melt your chest and Canary Island folk songs that stir something deep and ancestral. These are not performers chasing fame—they are guardians of feeling, memory, and tradition. It’s romantic in the purest sense of the word. You don’t come here to be seen. You come here to feel. To sip slowly. To listen. To remember. A timeless refuge where the past still sings—and sings beautifully

Inconspicous place, but surprising ;) they have so delicious and tender goat meat, very tasty mojo verde (i hate cilantro but this sauce was masterpiece!) and very friendly waiter, which doing the best whisky sour drink on the island 😁we will try to visit again this place and recommend it for everybody :)

Loro Park, located in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, is a beautifully landscaped zoo that offers an impressive variety of animal attractions. The park is renowned for its extensive collection of parrots and hosts classic shows featuring these colorful birds. Additionally, visitors can enjoy dolphin shows and witness the majesty of killer whales in action.
I recently had the chance to visit Loro Parque in Tenerife, and I have to say—it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this wasn’t just another zoo; it’s a beautifully maintained, world-class conservation park that truly cares about the animals and the visitor experience. It’s absolutely worth arriving right when the park opens. The early hours are quieter, cooler, and give you a head start on the most popular attractions and shows before the crowds arrive. We managed to enjoy a peaceful stroll through the park and even caught the first show of the day with no lines.
Anita J — Google review
Amazing Day at Loro Parque! Loro Parque is absolutely incredible – a must-visit! There’s so much to see and do, and the animals are clearly very well cared for. The enclosures are spacious, beautifully designed, and give you great views without ever feeling overcrowded for the animals. Everything felt clean, organised, and really well maintained. The dolphin and orca shows were a real highlight – absolutely amazing and definitely a must-see while you’re there. They were professional, fun, and showed off the animals’ intelligence and beauty in such a memorable way. There’s plenty to keep you entertained all day, from the variety of animals to the shows and the little details around the park that make it special. The only downside is that food on site is a bit pricey – but that’s the same in most attractions and didn’t take away from how fantastic the experience was. Overall, a beautiful park, well worth the visit, and somewhere I’d happily return to again!
Adrianna B — Google review
Got tickets online earlier as they're discounted, easy to park in their nice underground car park (7 euro). Well worth a visit, clean, accessible, plenty of clean toilets and food outlets which were reasonably priced. It's very clear that your entrance fee and any profits go towards animal welfare and conservation, which is great to know. Get to the Orca, sea lion and dolphin shows early for the beat seats, avoid the front if you want to stay dry, but that's part of the fun. Sea lions were our favourite 🦭. The fish tank displays are brilliant and absolutely massive! 🐟 🐠 The gardens and fauna are amazing! 🌟 ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 🦭🐬👏👏👏👏

Loro Parque is very unique. To call it a zoo would not do it justice. You can tell as you walk through the park that the staff really care about the place. They are constantly cleaning and maintaining the grounds, and the interactions with the animals at the shows are really impressive. You can tell there is a lot of trust between the handlers and their animal coworkers. Beyond that, the rare and endangered animals they have are too many to list. My wife and I had a great time and even made friends with a beautiful Pasquels Parrot. Highly recommend visiting! I recommend at least 5 hours to see everything, and bring good walking shoes as there are slopes and slippery sections.
Ryan — Google review
Loro Parque is an exceptional experience, and exceeded our expectations. We attended all the shows and each show showed us the true beauties of these animals. We also got the beautiful feeling that each and every staff really love and care for these animals and it adds to the beauty of the experience. The whole park is exceptionally well kept and when you read around the park and listen to all the information when attending the shows, you realise how much the park really does and it makes you really appreciate the experience even more. We actually spent 6+ hours here and we still felt we could of stayed longer. We visited the Orca show twice as we needed to get splashed 😆 🤣. My favourite show was the Sea Lions but that's not to say that the Dolphins, Parrots & Orca's weren't worth the watch even if you want to watch them twice lol.
Sjcartier L — Google review
Absolutley stunning experience at Loro Parque. We arrived there early ( booked our tickets as twin with Siam Park ) and there was no waiting ( went here on a Saturday ). The park is very clean and well maintanined, facilities are clean, plenty of areas to grab a "snack" but some of the prices are a bit on the high. The shows are all super super entertaining, but as you can imagine packed so I suggest you plan to get to every show 20 min early to get a good spot to view. The Treetops where the birds ( parrots ) are was a great highlight you can see them up close. The shows are all very educational and entertaining focused, the kids loved it. We rented a car to get there as stayed in Costa Adeje, the short trip from there was crossing over hills, so on the way back we went the other way ( north airport way ) and it was all motorway much more enjoyable drive. There was planty of parking when we arrived. ( 8£ for parking all day there but was safe and underground parking as well )
Lucian G — Google review
A beautiful ZOO with a unique atmosphere. If you haven't seen killer whales you must visit this place. It is monumental. There is small Teno still feeding itself from mom. The birds are shining in all the colors. There is also a beautiful aquarium and a penguin world with a real snow. I bet there is a lot of people in weekends. Even during the week you have to come early to the shows because it is getting full and they won't let you in anymore. The buffets are very crowded as well. If you have small kids ve sure to take one snacks with you.
BÁRA — Google review
I loved the orcas show! Lovely place. Animals appear well looked after and seem to have a bond with their humans. Only thing i could complain about is it is not very well laid out and despite dozens of signs we still ended up getting lost multiple times! Other than that its brilliant

Restaurante el Camino is a cozy tapas bar located just a short walk from Playa de Martianez beach in Puerto de la Cruz. The daily menu features a variety of Canarian delicacies, and the cheerful and familiar atmosphere adds to the dining experience. The restaurant, situated on the stairs of Camino de las Cabras, offers high-quality food and attentive service. Visitors have praised the tasty and fresh tapas, making it an ideal spot to sample authentic Spanish cuisine.
This place is the real deal. Go there and you won't be disappointed. The staff are really friendly and on top of it -- which says a lot because it's a very popular and so busy place. The food was outstanding. The tapas menu will vary each day, so go back. Easily some of the best I've had. Their sandwiches are equally great. Only managed to go twice (photos are from both visits), otherwise would have tried more. And, as the other reviews say, yes that barraquito is yummy.
Andru S — Google review
First of all it's not a restaurant, it's a bar and tapas. Fried calamari are unfortunately an imitation. Tinto de verano and sangría are not worth. Better to go with a beer. Ensaladilla was good. The chicken and white beans are also not worth. Colesaw tapa without any love (i.e. dressing). Recommendation: go somewhere else.
Ramiro T — Google review
Great tapas and cheap beer. I just wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu. The waiter was extremely friendly and made the experience even better. I also tried the typical Tenerife coffee, Barraquito – it was absolutely delicious! Overall, a really nice place to stop by.⭐️

What a great little tapas restaurant. The menu depends on what is fresh that day which is brilliant. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. All the food is so flavourful and they do a great deal of doing lots of small tapas for 2 people for €25 so you can taste everything. Very clean restaurant, the staff even clean your table when clearing your courses which is such a nice touch.

Stopped by here while on a walk. Staff are really friendly and the place has a great buzz. Got 2 Baraquitos and 2 mojitos. Both were delicious and made with care. Looks a lovely place , the food was ok apart from the strawberry tart ( that was the only reason we went in there ) the tart base was inedible . I asked for a pinacolada , the waiter just said "no" , and gave no reason to why I couldn't 🤷‍♂️ , so had a sprite instead . The food took 20 minutes to come out , which is ok , and as I said it was ok to eat but not great . Had to go up to the till and ask for the bill as no one seemed bothered about checking on us and the place was fairly empty . I personally would not go back 👎

Fantastic food! A limited menu, but that's no problem when everything on it tastes amazing. The member of staff attending our table was very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. If you're in the area, do yourself a favour and stop by. We are not locals, but Tasca El Olivo made us feel like family tonight.

Limited but delicious vegan options: papas arrugadas, berenjenas con miel de palma, and potatoes with grilled vegetables. The potatoes with grilled vegetables were seasoned with cinnamon, which is a very unlikely and odd combination. We didn’t like it at all and if we had known this, we would have requested to leave the cinnamon out. We asked to prepare some pan tomaca for our son, the seasoning was excessive to our taste (lots of garlic and other spices), and we asked them to prepare a simple one, just with tomatoes and EVO oil, which they did. We loved the kindness of the waiting staff and their attentiveness. The bathroom is difficult to access because of the narrow stairs, impossible for people with disabilities.
Giuliana F — Google review
What a great experience here! The waiters were so helpful to get my party of 3 a table. We came without a reservation so it was quite full. They brought out a table from indoors to sit us. Food was absolutely delicious too!! If you eat at El Olivo, I promise you'll enjoy it!
Emily K — Google review
We really would have liked to eat dinner here, but when we got there, we found the restaurant open, but devoid of staff. The tables inside had been set, on the outside they were not. There were no signs informing us, that the restaurant was closed (and it clearly wasn't) or that they were catering to a closed society that night. There was just no one there, while the lights were on inside and the door stood wide open. We waited for around ten minutes, no one came. This place has TERRIBLE customer service.

A hidden gem well away from the main bustling streets of restaurants. I've been visiting Tasca El Olivo for a number of years and while the menu hasn't changed much over time they consistently turn out well presented tasty dishes. The food was quite delicious, although despite the undeniable health benefits of olive oil, it still should be used in moderation and the food shouldn't swim in it. I was asked the hold to the already used fork and knife, wasn't offered another servilleta, which I found a bit odd (esp. given the oily meal), but overall nice restaurant.

I had the set menu of the day, and overall it was a fairly complete and enjoyable meal. The starter – queso frito – was delicious and definitely the highlight. The main course left me with mixed feelings; it was okay, but not particularly memorable. The dessert was good and ended the meal nicely. The food was decent overall, though not exceptional. The real standout is the cocktail menu – the drinks were excellent, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service, however, could use some improvement. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked a bit of warmth and attentiveness at times. Still, I’d recommend the place, especially for the cocktails and atmosphere, and I’d be happy to come back and try a different dish next time – I feel like there’s real potential here.

Absolutely brilliant place we arrived as they were opening up but that still wasn't a problem for them. Invited us straight in and set straight about making us comfy and taking our order. Our hosts were so welcoming, friendly and engaging. We had a great chat whilst our food was being prepared. The food itself namely two breakfasts was lovely proper Cumberland sausages and British bacon even had black pudding on mine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Proper British Grub – Best Value in Town! If you’re after the best value for money English breakfast in Puerta De La Cruz , look no further than The Robin Hood. Real Cumberland sausages, proper black pudding, and everything cooked to perfection – none of that cheap café nonsense here! Phil, the owner, is an absolute gent – always cheerful, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in what he does. The place has a proper friendly vibe, like your favourite local back home. They also do cracking fish & chips, and their Sunday roast is spot on – proper portions, tasty gravy, and great roasties. Best of all, they show the football, so if the main footie bars are packed, head here and you’ll still catch the game with a cold pint in hand. Honestly, it’s one of those places you’ll come back to again and again. Top food, top people, top prices. What more do you want?

The Agora Bar & Café is a popular spot for tourists to meet and relax in Puerto de la Cruz. The café has an eclectic, artsy atmosphere with magazines, books, live music and art on display. There's also outdoor seating with stunning views of the square. The bar serves up delicious espresso drinks and light snacks like tapas.
Great little Gem in Puerto de la Cruz. It is a. cosy and very quiet place. The service was great and the coffee perfect. You need to try the Zaperoco for 2,60€. Very delicious and it looks great.

Really nice place to have a drink and some tapas, especially if you sit outside in the pleasant little square. The staff was very nice, quick and helpful (we needed to charge some devices, she even gave us one of her chargers). Good vibes overall.

Agora has been the place we pop into every day on our holiday, a home from home. Bohemian feel, rustic furnishing, great service and fun drinks menu. There’s beers, cocktails and wine for those who want them; as a non-drinker, I’ve become attached to the Café Canario or the Barraquito sin alcohol. Set in a beautiful little square, it’s a great space to sit for hours or 10 minutes watching the world go by!! Will miss this when we go home.

Sports bar
Nestled in the heart of Playa San Telmo on Calle La Hoya, the British Sport Pub Hive Bee stands out as a premier destination for sports enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike. This charming bar is renowned for showcasing all major sporting events from England, Scotland, and Ireland, adorned with an impressive collection of team scarves that hang from the ceiling. It's not just about watching games; patrons can also enjoy a friendly game of darts or pool while sipping their favorite beverages.
Lovely little pub everyone spoke very good English and was nice to talk too. Drinks were a little pricey but very strong so worth it cocktails 7€ beer on tap 3.50€ . Got your basic little English foods like pie and chips, toasties, beans on toast ect good grub if your missing home and cheap. We enjoyed the atmosphere here, we felt we could just have a drink, play some pool, watch abit of sports like we was back home for a little bit. Overall worth a visit:)

Stumbled across this place whilst trying to find a quick place to have a drink and nip to the loo (very British of me I know) but I can honestly say this place is lovely. Service was so friendly we came back, pool tables available and of course we had a couple of games and it really just felt like a pub from home. There was a small menu of food available which is more like quick bites, but just what you need when you have a pint, couldn’t ask for better!

Such a great place to hang out! The nachos are absolutely amazing – probably the best I’ve had in a long time. The cocktails are really good too, nicely made and fit the vibe of the place. The staff is super friendly and attentive, which makes a big difference. And the shisha? Smooth, well-prepared, and just what you want for a relaxed evening. Definitely worth visiting if you're looking for a cozy, chill spot with great service and atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing experience! The service is top-notch super friendly and welcoming. They even gave us shots on the house, which was such a nice surprise! The shisha was honestly 10/10, really smooth and flavourful. Prices are very affordable, I’d even say pretty cheap for what you get. What made it extra special was the waiter asking where we’re from and then playing music from our country such a thoughtful touch! Definitely coming back.

Wine bar
Nestled in a charming corner of the Canary Centre, La Vinoteca is a delightful fusion of a wine bar and tapas spot that beckons wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. This quaint establishment showcases an impressive selection of local wines from small producers alongside offerings from renowned Tenerife bodegas. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a few outdoor tables perfect for enjoying the warm weather while savoring delicious tapas like ensaladilla, jamón, cheese, olives, and Spanish tortilla.
Finally, we found the romantic and authentic restaurant of the town! La Vinoteca is a cozy spot perfect for wine lovers and those who enjoy small bites. We absolutely loved our tapas and white white wine last night—the ensaladilla, jamón, cheese, olives, and Spanish tortilla were all absolutely delicious. The service was excellent too, making the experience even better. Thank you for a wonderful evening! We will be back!

Great spot to enjoy local wines and have a few tapas at the same time. The tapas are sufficient for dinner, reserve if you want a table outside as there are only few.
Joel R — Google review
Small off licence, with a handful of tables outside. Nice, low key, quiet location. Only had a choice of three Spanish craft beers, but these were very good and sensibly priced. The owner was a bit abrasive and followed by round like I was a shoplifter. He also very obviously double checked to make sure I'd shut the fridge properly! Worth a visit if you're in the area.
Paul M — Google review
Small (really small) selection of good local wines, food was good quality but half of the menu was not available. Therefore not much to eat other than olives, hams, hams, hams and hams. Prices differed between what i paid to what was advertised on the menu, sadly i realised it later on, always double check.

What an amazing discovery!! Honestly a 💎 in the middle of a little commercial area... The owner is as passionate as his wine collection JUST EXCELLENT ENCHANTED AND PURE ROMANCE if you know what you there for....We bought a bottle and drank some there seating outside, quiete, peacefully and we'll attended! This place got my heart, and my heart is quite harder than average... Give it a try Tapas, small bites in a classic Canarian way are genuinely prepared and paired with wines and beers, le territor is respected and love for the art is expressed without any doubt or concern!

FU Café is a popular spot in Puerto de la Cruz, known for being a great place to work remotely. It offers ample power outlets and reliable WiFi, making it conducive for productivity. The café also boasts fantastic sandwiches, coffee, and good value for money. Additionally, it features a playground for kids and is a great spot to watch football games. With friendly staff and a beautiful terrace offering mountain views, it's an ideal place to enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices.
During our wandering through the area we encountered this place and sat down to enjoy a coffee. Great atmosphere, friendly staff with sense of right service. We played a board game and had a second coffee. A quick view at the menu made us decide to return that night to have dinner. And so we did. Several tables were occupied by cheerful young people playing board games, enjoying them selves. We were happy we got out of the tourist area and could enjoy a tasteful burger and schnitzel. Both desserts (lava cake and cheese cake with local cheese) tasted great. Same waiter served us with feeling for the right expectations. Thank you for having us and who knows, see you again sometime.

★★☆☆☆ Two stars only because my kid found the play corner mildly amusing and the staff were genuinely sweet people doing the work of three humans each. But let’s talk about the ‘food’. Ordered the pork: meat arrived lukewarm, blushing pink in the center—basically a trichinosis petri dish wearing barbecue sauce. Fries? Imagine six shoestrings arranged like a sad bird’s nest and you’ve got the portion size. I’ve seen more potato in a Pringle. The place was clearly understaffed; our server apologized so many times I wanted to tip her for emotional labor instead of service. Management: hire people, cook your pork past the danger zone, and stop rationing potatoes like it’s 1943.

Tapas bar
Tasca Victoria is a charming family-owned restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz, offering a warm welcome and authentic Spanish cuisine. The handmade tapas are a highlight, with the owner's personal touch evident in every dish. Visitors rave about the delicious cheese tapas and homemade sangria. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service add to the appeal, making it a highly recommended spot for fresh Canary food at great prices.
Tasca Victoria is a pretty basic tapas bar (decor’s seen better days, big TV with the football on - advertised outside, to be fair), but we were drawn by the reviews on here. Rightly so, it turned out. The head waiter and waitress were delightful. The tapas were really good - best croquetas of our stay, truly excellent grilled prawns, lovely house white in jugs, chicken livers and chorizo both excellent, too. Generous portions (a real feature of Puerto de la Cruz, it appears). Only one option for dessert, but when that’s a mountain of good vanilla ice cream with squirty cream and chocolate syrup, nobody’s complaining! Terrific value for money, too, at well under £50 for two.
Ben H — Google review
This is a wonderful local bar that has an authentic atmosphere and some really delicious food. A small but really fresh menu. Ok, so not everyone wants a flat screen TV showing football when they eat, but this is not for a romantic evening. Vincent and his family have created a really warm and friendly atmosphere, away from the more commercial eateries. If you want to be among the locals, this is one place to enjoy a relaxed evening. Really good value for money, and the smiles and conversation come free! Thank you Vincent for your hospitality and tips on meatballs and sausages 😉, it's all about the chicken! I raise a Carlos 1 to you.

Marianne Ø — Google review
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tasca Victoria! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine warmth. The owner was incredibly kind, striking up a conversation with me in both English and German, which made me feel right at home - especially as a solo traveler, where every meaningful interaction is special. At first glance, the place might not immediately stand out, tucked away from the busy tourist areas, but don’t let that fool you. This is a true hidden gem! The food was nothing short of amazing - homemade, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with love. I ordered the Romanian homemade sausages aka Mititei/Mici, and they were as authentic as the best you’d find in Romania—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. The chorizo was just as impressive - bursting with flavor, tender, and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were just right, leaving me fully satisfied yet eager to come back and try more. The beer and coke were cold and refreshing. What really sets Tasca Victoria apart is not just the quality of the food but the heart behind it. This isn’t a place focused on flashy presentation - it’s about real, honest, and lovingly prepared food that makes you feel truly welcome. I overheard a nearby English-speaking couple say the same: after trying many places in Tenerife, they found that while some restaurants prioritize looks over taste, Tasca Victoria gets it right—delivering quality, warmth, and an unforgettable experience. I’m only here for a few days, but I’ll definitely be returning at least once more. If you’re looking for authentic food made with care, this is the place to go. Multumesc! 🫶🏼

Tapas were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. They took the food order when the kitchen was just closing, gracias ! Octopus salad was fantastic, morcilla canariana was tasty, and the chorizo in cider was fine. Beer radler served in bottle. They were showing a football game, couple of table were there eating while watching the game. Ambiance inside was animated. Couple of table outside too. Loved the experience there

At the end of my first evening in Puerto, I stumbled across this Tasca, and I am glad I did. Full of locals but the owner still managed to provide some friendly chat and excellent service. Really enjoyed the morcillo in honey and chorizo in cider. Decent selection of local beers and wines. This place deserves to succeed.

The property offers simple apartments with kitchenettes and features a rooftop pool with scenic views. Guests can enjoy amenities such as an outdoor pool, terrace, complimentary Wi-Fi, and tour/ticket assistance. The convenient location provides easy access to nearby attractions, bars, restaurants, and clubs.
Nice budget apartments at excellent location. Staff are welcoming and nothing is too much of an ask. The kitchen doesn't have much equipment in it but I doubt anyone is planning to cook a roast dinner whilst on holiday. The only thing that could do with an update are the mattresses but as there was a sofa bed we made do with that. I'd definitely stay there again. Thanks to all the staff for a great holiday!!!

We stayed at the Florida Plaza Hotel in Puerto de la Cruz for four nights. While the hotel could benefit from some modern updates, it was still a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the historical town and close to three different beaches, with plenty of shops, clubs, pubs, restaurants, and cafes within easy walking distance, making it perfect for exploring Puerto de la Cruz. The hotel features a small but cozy rooftop pool with a lovely view over the town. Although the hotel offers breakfasts and dinners, we chose to dine out every day to enjoy the local cuisine. One downside was the lack of air conditioning, which felt unusual for a hot country like Tenerife; however, you can request a fan in your room by leaving a deposit. If you book a transfer from the airport, keep in mind that the hotel is located on a pedestrian walking street where coaches cannot access, so you’ll need to walk about two minutes to reach the hotel — especially important to know if you arrive at night. We know it’s not a luxury 5-star hotel, but you get what you pay for, and overall, it offers good value for money. With a few updates, it could be even better.
Dina G — Google review
Older hotel with a bit of wear, to put it like that. Room is simple and dated, but seems clean. Hard beds, but then again it seems like the Spanish like it that way. Strange shower head that points mostly at the wall, but it works, and the pressure is decent. Breakfast and dinner buffets are actually very tasty, though the look of the buffet room is a little depressing. Very friendly and helpful gentleman running the buffet. Would I stay again? Not sure. Not a definitive no, but also not a definitive yes...
Jan S — Google review
Good location lots of restaurants in the area, nice ones and all priced reasonably. Quiet area, beach is a short walk away, close enough to loro Parque. Hotel: staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast selection is small but covers most continental boxes. The walls are dreadfully thin though and you hear every violent toilet flush on your floor all night. Not bad for the price but based on noisy pipes and thing walls and floors we wouldn't stay again.
Kieran H — Google review
Value for money hotel. Rooms are basic, beds are a little uncomfortable, towels are changed every day, and bed sheets are changed weekly. All the staff are very polite and professional. Central location within walking distance of all Puerto has to offer.
Steven N — Google review
This hotel is an absolute nightmare and should be condemned, not offered to guests. The beds are rock-hard, making it impossible to get any rest. The room was infested with bedbugs, leaving me covered in bites. Filth was everywhere—dust, stains, and an unbearable smell in both the room and bathroom. It’s clear that cleaning is not a priority here. Avoid this place at all costs unless you’re looking for a disaster of a stay.
TheFish3r0o0 — Google review
Very budget friendly... Yeah First the good- staff are very friendly and will help anyway they can. The location is also fantastic and is close to everywhere you need in Puerto Cruz- beach (which was unfortunately closed due to waste water), town centre, bus station and even Loro Parque is in walking distance. The breakfast was also decent after you figure out what's good and what's not. The rooms however were appalling and look like they've been the same for 30+ years. I don't see the point of the kitchen when it's only equipped with 2 plates, pots and basic cutlery. No knives, no kettle and the oven also didnt work. Although the bathroom was the least worst room the biggest issue is that the toilet has (almost) zero water pressure and if you want to flush anything you will be standing for well over a minute waiting for some divine intervention. Also no AC which surprisingly wasn't as bad as we expected but be prepared to be sweating in heat. Overall if you plan to use the room as a place to sleep on a budget and that's it then this could be ok for you but I recommend you strongly consider different options.

Cocktail bar
Elements Cocktail Bar is a great place with beautiful drinks, friendly guests and the bartender who knows how to make a good drink. The music is a bonus, really appreciated!
Amazing place for cocktails. A great place to sit outside and watch the world go by early evening, and a cool interior for late night, early hours cocktails. Try the Mojito chilli, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful little place in old town Puerto de la Cruz. Very sweet owners, a young couple. They work hard to please the customers. Week days very quiet but lively at the weekend in march -25.
Barbro T — Google review
Fantastic cocktail/loungebar! From the outside you could not be more mistaken. Go in and indulge yourself in the relaxing atmosphere of Elements. We loved the red lava chillax room. Tried the vodka mule, black mule, singapore sling, and the kid had some nice alcofree ones. Chill music, relaxed owners, great ambiance. Loved it! Reasonable pricing for great tasting cocktails. Don't sit outside, go in and enjoy. Get out of everyday life, cause that is what a cocktailbar is all about.
Ray J — Google review
Ordered an espresso martini. It took over half an hour to arrive, and what I got looked nothing like a typical espresso martini (see photo) — it seemed to contain milk or cream. I mentioned it to the waiter, who called the bartender. He seemed annoyed, mentioned he’s been making espresso martinis for 20 years, and didn’t really address my concern. That said, the atmosphere is nice and the place does feel like a proper cocktail bar. Just didn’t have a positive experience myself. Would’ve been nice if the bartender had responded differently.

A small bar somewhat off the main tourist paths which makes it a great spot for a relaxing drink (or few). Each room of the bar is arranged with colours and decoration according to its element (thus the name). The cocktails are great and affordable, the service quick and polite, and some evening there is also a live DJ. Definitely recommend.

Extremely nice place! Great staff and amazing drinks a great ambience and the furnitures and interior design is just really cool! Inspired me to remake my own apartment at home :)

The most beautiful bar in puerto. Perfect drinks, lovely place, the best cocktail shaker from France and the wonderful Angeliqua. Don't miss it!!!! It"s the place to be! Yours cuba libre (without poison and zero)

Restaurant
Terraza del Marquesa is a sophisticated terrace bar located next to the Marquesa hotel, offering a perfect setting for enjoying drinks and observing people. The seating area is pleasant, with occasional live music adding to the ambiance. The food is highly praised, with options like fillet steak and traditional tapas receiving positive feedback. The atmosphere is relaxed and ideal for leisurely afternoons, especially with the talented guitarist/singer providing entertainment.
Great place to people watch whilst enjoying just a drink or lunch/dinner. Staff are fantastic too. Reasonably priced for its brilliant location
John G — Google review
It's one of those places where you should experience it for the ambience and atmosphere rather than focusing on the reviews. While the food is decent, it's not the main attraction. If you're there purely for the food, it's okay but not particularly memorable—which is fair, as not every restaurant can excel in every aspect.

It was a very hot day, so I ordered a langoustines salad. What I got: Langoustines without any taste at all, which were not cleaned at all and the salad was just extremely wet, also I got a 0,75cl water bottle (1 liter on the bill). I started cleaning the langoustines myself and they were absolutely full of S, full. I gave them to my dogs. I showed the friendly waitress the mountain of S and saladwater and said I didn't really want to pay and never had such a discusting salad full of S. But they forced me to pay the 19€ for S and water... horrible horrible restaurant. Fyi: As a half a century old man, eating in 1000ths (possible 10.000), restaurants in 43 different countries... I think my humble opinion might be of some value. I never want to bring a place down, the opposite, I want them to improve. I just share the facts and nothing more.

Very nice food. My friend and I sat outside and neither one of us went into the restaurant but the seating area was nice and there was some live music. All the food which I saw being taken to other tables looked good. I ordered a fillet steak and my friend ordered a pork chop/gammon steak type dish. My steak was cooked very nicely to my preference "well done" and it was delicious. My friend enjoyed his meal. The service was good - me and my friend can speak some basic Spanish which is always helpful. The price was very reasonable - My steak was around e15 and I really enjoyed it. I would go back to this restaurant 100%.

Great atmosphere, relaxed service and tasty food. I can’t understand the negative reviews on here. This is a great place to kick back, relax, people watch and enjoy some traditional tapas. Food come out when it’s ready, as it should…in whatever order it’s ready! Order the Gambas. Absolutely stunning. The oil and bread that accompanies is amazing. Sure, not the cheapest, but worth it for the chance to sit back and while away the afternoon in a relaxed setting. Ignore the naysayers and give this place a try. Oh! And before you leave…take a look inside at the hotel lobby. A hidden gem!
Andrew K — Google review
The food unfortunately was abit tasteless and bland. Service was “needy”, every little while we were asked if we were ready to order, when we just sat down and were looking at the menu. Location is good and atmosphere was nice with live music.
Ants P — Google review
Ate here tonight - very average (at best). My wife's fillet of fish was fine but my milanese escallop was dry. Service was non existent once you had placed your order. Overcharged on the bill: not by much but it's not like we had a huge selection of things. Pretty location with a view of the church but there are plenty other places to dine.

Fantastic terrace on the main street. Very hystorical building. Lot of food and wines in the menu. Food is good. Not giving 5 starts coz portions are small. But it s ok. Thanks.

La Vola is a charming eatery that transforms from a cozy daytime spot into an inviting bar by night. During the day, it serves up comforting favorites like burgers, pizza, and pasta, making it a perfect stop for hearty meals. As evening falls, the atmosphere shifts to one of sophistication with an impressive selection of draft and bottled beers, wines, and cocktails available. The al fresco patio adds to the ambiance with its lovely lighting and music—ideal for unwinding after a long day.
An awesome place away from all the touristy BS. a place for the locals with a soul. Creative finger food, amazing local craft beers. I would add something more "vegetably" to the menu like pimentos de padron or stuffed red peppers. Would definetly come back if i had the chance.

(Original) Nette Bedienung. Sehr sehr leckere Tapas, sehr hübsch angerichtet. Das Auge isst hier mit! Preise angemessen. Für uns eine tolle Neuentdeckung! Die Speisekarte ist spannend, siehe Fotos.

(Translated by Google) Neighborhood burger restaurant with good service and good product, decorated with style and pleasant to have a drink on the terrace. It didn't surprise us so I can't give it a higher rating. The chicken toast with curry... well, a toast with yellow chicken spread, with more shame than glory, the burger is very delicious although small if what you intend is to have dinner. The potatoes, over-fried.

Anyway, something different, beautiful premises, excellent service and good value for money. I loved it❤️ congratulations.. We will return very often😁👍🏻 (Original) Ahora siiiiii, magníficos platos, cerveza con tapitas de escándalo, jamón iberico de escándalo... En fin algo diferente, local preciosos, servicio excelente y precio bien calidad precio. Me encantó❤️ felicidades.. Volveremos muy amenudo😁👍🏻
