Food quality needs to be far more improved. Too much oily. So many varieties but none of the food items were justified. I heard so much about the restaurant but it was not actually worth it. Food quality matters in the restaurant. I hope it changes in the next visit sometime if possible.
No consistency in quality, I ordered thali for my kid requesting for Zero spicy, they sent excessively spicy even I couldn't eat. Quality of Roti was not even edible. Please maintain some standard, that is not the quality of roti we should be getting at this price, see pics
One of the best restaurants in Jamnagar city. It is linked with the Kalatit International Hotel. There are buffet options available for breakfast. The seats are full during the weekends and asking for reservations is recommended. The Varieties in the buffet are however limited. Overall good taste.
Ambience is better, the place is hygienic. It is moderately crowded most of the time. Various cuisines on offer, variety of food available and the quality of food is quite good. The menu is moderately expensive. Staff is not that co operative. A good place to have dinner with family and friends.

This place is best for family gatherings. If you want to spend some quality time with your family then this is the perfect place. Coming to the food first of all they serve welcome drink. Then we ordered Punjabi food. Food was good and though quantity too. Staff was very co operative. Service was good but sometimes we need to wait too long specially on weekends. At the end they serve gulab jamun which is complementary and that was very yummy.

Not at all recommend for unlimited gujarati thali in lunch. Very bad taste 🤢 at very premium prices. Lunch menu has 4 sabji and 2 sweet with 1 namkeen but most of them have very poor taste. Its unlimited thali costs 230rs per person but it is utterly waste of money. There are lots of other options in Jamnagar which are way better than this one. 🍽️

Excellent ambience at rooftop with cool breeze and nice views with the lake as back drop.
We being south Indians, loved the Upma and idlies served at the restaurant. Excuse the Sambar since that is mostly ready made masala driven in this region.
Their recommendation of Achari paneer turned out to be quite good. So were mocktails and icecreams.

Great terrace restaurant partly over looking the city. Seating should be some more comfortable to seat upright with lesser leaning back.
Food is totally average. Commercial masaledar dead food with no flavour of the main ingredients. Be very careful while ordering bhakhri/ rotla to say no to ghee/oil/butter else they will serve with ghee by default.
Veg Manchow soup was just ok.
We ordered sarson ka saag as they confirmed they make the best...... very poor, worst saag with garam masala & garlic flavoured brown dish.

One of the best - cosiest places in Jamnagar for a brilliant dinner scene. The hotel takes care of you well, and the food quality here is fantastic and hygienic! I would recommend everyone to visit and experience the great hospitality! You get beautiful Jamnagar city views, too, as icing on the cake.

I am from Delhi and love punjabi food. Staying nearby hotel, just moved here. Ordered online on Zomato from other places but didn’t like any. My hotel too was more offerings for non veg stuff. Being pure vegetarian tried Kalpana hotel. And boy was I surprised. The best dosa and sambhar had in this area, apart madras hotel. But the sambhar tasted closest to home. The punjabi dishes too really good even better than Delhi. Pizza too is great. The service is excellent. And all in all very reasonable prices. Just be sure to reach early on weekends here as there might be rich and you gotta wait around an hour. Monday closed.

Food is simple and tasty. They also customize as per your requirement if you need spicy. There are a lot of food options as well. The staff is friendly and hotel is hygienic. Washrooms are available and are clean.

Hotel Kalpana is a popular vegetarian restaurant in Jamnagar with a diverse menu (Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese, etc.). Food quality and taste is good, though bit oily . Tin batti area is one of the landmarks in Jamnagar. I was intended to go for lunch with my family at some good restaurant in this area. Bamaniya lodge and Chetna lodge is very famous restaurants of Jamnagar and exists in Tin batti only. My paralyzed Mama (maternal uncle) was with me and required wheel chair accessible entry. I inquired a shopkeeper and he suggested me Hotel Kalpana, that has wheelchair accessible entry and good food also. I and my family really enjoyed delicious food and hospitality here. They helped my uncle on wheelchair to access the restaurant. I would love to visit this place again.
Heard lot of about this hotel, so went with family but totally disappointed, ambiance is average , service pathetic very local person serving you . Food quality below average . Butter roti was like chui gum , Punjabi sabji was over salty , in bhindi masala just few pieces of bhindi . I will never come again and approch people of jamnagar to find another option , even road side dhaba services and cooks well . Vandematram !

Really good vegetarian food combined with a decent and sober ambiance. Ordered paneer chili dry and garlic bread as starters. THE PANEER WAS AWESOME. This was followed by butter naan, veg handi biryani and paneer butter masala. Biryani had titbits of paneer and tasted decent. The butter naan will disappoint if you're expecting actual butter on it, for all we found were generous quantities of margarine in it. Paneer butter masala was a good side dish to have.
Service was good and prices good for the pocket. A hearty lunch for two would cost around Rs 500.

After ordering services was too slow, sometime electricity was not there, seats was not comfortable we can not seat more then 20min. Thickness of milk shake was not appropriate.
My favorite place in Jamnagar. The Creamy Coffee they serve is just too delicious. And their Corn Capsicum Sandwich has been my love for years! And ofcourse, green tea with herbs... Just too healthy and yumm!

I’m based in Mumbai but whenever I visit my native place, Jamnagar, this restaurant is my go-to. The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding.
Last time, I had lunch here right after getting off the train. This time, my train arrived earlier than usual, so I decided to get a takeaway instead. They normally open at 11:30, but I called them at 10:30 to check if they could prepare an early order. To my surprise, they managed to have a full thali ready for me by 11:45.

Location is within the bylanes of the old city, you have walk up a flight of stairs. most of the locals and auto drivers know about this place so not hard to find.

Went to this restaurant in Feb with friends. Its like a 3 story building with different seating options on each floor and on the roof. We were at the rooftop.Had several dishes of chicken and prawn for starters and they were all very good. Had the biriyani which was also very good and much different that the biryani we have in Kolkata.

We were scouting for places that serve Non veg food in Jamnagar when we came across Tava restaurant as it had good reviews. The restaurant is located on 1st floor although the entry might not look appealing. On the staff's recommendation we ordered their speciality - Chicken 21. The dish was 21/100. The non veg food is not that great. However the veg food is damn tasty. We stuck to the basic - dal tadka and jeera rice which was really good.
Tava restaurant is very famous restaurant for non-vegetarian food. There are many varieties of food available. It's a family restaurant. It also serves vegetarian food. Sea food is less preferred. But chicken and mutton are good. Many non vegetarian starters are good . Food Parcels are also available.

Hotel is located in the heart of the city. Though the streets are crowned and busy we didn't feel the noise. Lakhota lake is 10 mins walking from the hotel. The rooms were decent, big and clean. Value for money as it's budget friendly. Restaurant in the hotel was too expensive for the amount they charged. People have options eatery around the hotel if they want to opt for.
Amazing hotel at the heart of Jamnagar which has become an integral part of the birding in Jamnagar. If you are in Jamnagar for birding/bird photography this is the place to stay.

Summary: There was a small cockroach in the food; the waitstaff and management were completely indifferent to this.
We went there for lunch and other than us, there were no other customers. When we placed the order, the waitstaff appeared dazed and uninterested. Our dishes arrived, the food tasted nice and when we were eating, we found a small cockroach in a mushroom starter. When we pointed this out to them, they offered to replace it. We had however, completely lost our appetite and just wanted to leave. Instead of taking the cockroach-y dish off the bill, they instead gave us a measly 10% discount, we had to specifically ask and push for them to take the dish off the bill.
I wouldn't come back here or recommend it to anyone.

We recently visited Prasadam Restaurant (Hotel Kailash) for a family dinner and, unfortunately, had a very unsatisfactory experience. We ordered both Punjabi and Gujarati thalis, but the food quality was extremely poor. The dishes were excessively spicy, the paneer tasted artificial rather than fresh, and the gravies were dominated by red chilies, making them unpleasant to eat.
Despite raising our concerns, the staff showed no initiative to address or resolve the issues. Their lack of responsiveness added further disappointment to the evening.
Considering the ₹3000 spent, the overall experience was not only dissatisfying but also felt like poor value for money.
