Good - Great location. That's all. Decent customer service. When notified about issues they have attempted to fix it right away. Bad - very small rooms. Barely fits 3ppl. Only good for 2 Ugly - Almost all the rooms stink. Horrible moist stench or some rooms even stink of urine. Unless you are getting this room for <1000 this is not worth it.

I think it's one of the most comfortable places I have stayed. The staff is really helpful and responsive, rooms are neat and clean and they have a restaurant attached to the hotel. So you get food just a step away. It's close to Somnath Bus Station as well. Overall a great place to stay, highly recommended.

Front desk ppl and workers don't care when your check in time is they were sleeping when we arrived and it took us atleast 20 mins to wake them up...very slow working speed. Weird smells in the room, you need to ask and request them to turn on AC as it is off from outside, doors have no proper locks causing us inconvenient. They are very mean to ppl and no consideration for elder citizens.. Worst washrooms ever seen very dirty the buckets have some black stuff in it and showers don't work.. Beware when charging you devices as if you put it in the wrong switch you can pull out the entire thing by yourself. The pictures shown here aren't what the hotel has to offer not even close.... Don't stay here and make the mistake that we did... many washrooms have indian toilets and some insects don't come here.Truly deserves a 0 star!

I stayed one day at Hotel Somnath Sagar, and it was a very good experience. The rooms were clean, the environment was peaceful, and the overall service was excellent. The staff was very helpful and polite. A special thanks to Vipul Bhai for his outstanding support — he ensured all amenities were taken care of and showed very professional and friendly behaviour. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Somnath.

Staff is friendly and helpful..... understand our situation.....my 1.8 years baby was sleep 4 pm onwards after check out time.....they not charge extra charge for this.....thank you somnath Sagar staff.....Mahadev bless you

Good hotel and very good food. Less oily and very tasty - we had for dinner manchow and lemon coriander soup with gujrati khichdi and kadi alongwith naans and roti and curd. We also had veg kofta, dal fry and cheese naan which was also very tasty. Their buffets are also very tasty

Value for money 1/5 Service 3/5 Ambience 2/5 Food 1/5 Date 23/12/2023 I went in for a buffet dinner and welcome was less appealing, no one was bothered to welcome the new dine in guest. Due to al a carte restrictions out of 4 just 1 pax continued with buffet dinner, rest 3 of us left. After a 10 to 15 minutes wait i wad attended on my table with water later wich i started with the dinner. Starter was missing for approx 20 minutes, soup was cold, so I switched to main course where again I've to wait for 12 to 15 minutes for bread which came raw and un cooked. The vegetable was losing water which means gravy was not properly cooked. Thai curry was watery and average, it was missing the richness and flavour. Rice was burnt and sticking to the vessels, there was no ladle to pour Dal. Overall not worth the price and definitely not the Lords Quality. It was more of a waiting session rather dinner. Go for local restaurants or opt for other hotel but not the Lords. Complete waste of money.

I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. After booking the room for ₹6000, I was shocked to be charged an additional ₹2000 upon arrival, with no proper explanation. This kind of bait-and-switch pricing is unacceptable and felt deliberately deceitful. To make matters worse, they were overcharging for basic amenities like tea, and when I asked for hot water, it was unavailable during crucial times. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work at all during my stay, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Overall, the service was poor and the management seemed indifferent to guest concerns. I would not recommend this place to anyone — there are far better options that are transparent and actually value their customers.

We booked a room at this hotel after confirming with the staff that they accommodate couples, especially since we're engaged. They asked for proof, and we showed them photographs, but refused to share them via phone due to privacy concerns. However, upon arrival, the staff denied room allocation, despite our prior confirmation. After showing them the recording of our previous conversation, they relented but asked us to share the photos via phone, which we again refused. After a heated argument and discussion with the GM, they finally allocated the room. The staff's behavior was rude and unprofessional. They misguided us, ruined our trip, and the room was in poor condition with water leakage and unclean flooring. We also paid for early check-in but didn't receive a receipt. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel for your trip. The experience was disappointing and unworthy of the cost.

⚠️ Fraud Alert – Cyber Scam by Hotel | Demand for Justice I’m writing this review to alert others and seek justice for a serious fraud committed by this hotel. I made a booking over a call and was asked to make a 100% advance payment in Hotel bank account. After payment, I was sent a receipt confirming the booking. However, on the day of check-in, the hotel denied any booking and claimed it was a fraud. To make things worse, they showed a fake complaint letter supposedly filed with the police – clearly an attempt to avoid accountability. There was no help or support from the hotel after the payment was made. This is a blatant case of cyber fraud and cheating. I have attached screenshots of the booking receipt and the fake no signed police letter that too of Feb for transparency. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and should not go unchecked. I request the concerned authorities to investigate this matter and take strict action. I urge Google to review this listing and potential travelers to be extremely cautious. I request everyone to support, raise their voice, and help get this hotel delisted from Google and all online platforms to prevent more people from falling victim.

Service is very good. All popular restaurants are near by. It's 1.5km from Somnath temple. They givewater in a cooler (old style) which we really liked.

Rooms are good in size but overpriced at what they charge plus they also charged extra when we asked for early check in even though many rooms were vacate.. Hygeine is the main issue as everything seems dirty and smelly including towels , bedsheets etc..washrooms were also not cleaned enough..look for another property which come in same or lower budget

This is a sheer third class non-hygenic restaurant to be avoided at all costs,even if it serves for free. Served our family with kids with chola bhatura where all the grams were literally rotten & smelling foul...also the dosa had bad smelling potatoes.. We complained & left it asap to save our kids. Eating here will literally get you to a hospital for sure even if the cost seems economical.The taste too was very bad & misfit for all items.jalebi had some strong odour of cheap oil. Recently during our Somnath visit we had lunch at Shiv Ganga restaurant. We were a group of 5 including to kids and we tried different food items. We had ordered dosa for the kids. And we ordered dal fry butter, paneer masala for others. Frankly was delighted to see the super fast service. In less than 10 minutes, dal & vegetables were delivered. Rotis, naan including repeat orders were delivered within 1-2 mins. Amazing 🤩 The shop doesn't accept online, digital payments. Only cash.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars😅… Anyways, the food was outstanding, I have never ate such delicious dishes and on top of that, the service was beyond expectations. You just have to order the food and it won’t take more than 5 mins to be at your table.. all in all, great experience. Must visit place in Somnath.

My recent visit to Mad over Grills, Somnath was, unfortunately, a major letdown and one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a while. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this restaurant was struggling to keep up, and the issues only piled up from there. The food quality was well below average. What little was available in the buffet was either lukewarm or lacked flavor, making it barely edible. To make matters worse, most of the buffet containers were empty, and there was no effort to replenish them in a timely manner. It felt like the kitchen was either unprepared or simply didn’t care about the diners’ experience. Hygiene was another major concern. The restaurant was visibly unclean, with dirty tables and floors that hadn’t been tended to. This lack of attention to cleanliness made the entire experience feel uncomfortable and unappetizing. The staffing situation was equally problematic. There were only 3-4 staff members handling the entire operation, which was clearly insufficient for a busy restaurant. The team seemed overwhelmed, resulting in slow service and a chaotic atmosphere. It was evident that the restaurant was understaffed, and this negatively impacted every aspect of the visit. Overall, I cannot recommend Mad over Grills to anyone looking for a decent dining experience. The combination of subpar food, extremely poor hygiene, empty buffet stations, and inadequate staffing makes this place a hard pass. I strongly urge others to explore different dining options and avoid this restaurant altogether. Save your money and appetite for somewhere that values its customers and maintains basic standards.

Service is not even worth a single star. Very rude and careless behavior of the restaurant staff even they are not even kind enough to provide a cup of hot water. Their replies are ultimately sarcastic. We have stayed in Asopalav as guest and chosen this hotel for dinner. But we made a huge mistake by dining at Mad Over Grills. They have changed our tables twice even after we sit for dinner.

Visited 5 times with family and friends in last one month . At first visit it becomes our one of the favourite restaurant. Mr Sandeep ji welcome us with great decorum, Very good ambiance, good service, friendly staff & food was tasty too. Tried fried ice cream which was something new & I must tell you it was great. Gulab jamun was also good. Totally recommended 👍🏻 when you are in Somnath

Best place to dine at if you are concerned about the quality served on the roadside. I had visited there for lunch and it was a good simple lunch having 2 sabjis, Kathor (moong) , Dal, Rice, Roti, 2 farsan items and salad. This is part of the somnath trusts guest house but people residing in hotels outside can also visit for meals. Breakfast: Rs40/- (7:30 am to 10:00am) Lunch: Rs 90/- (11:00 am to 3:00 pm) Dinner: Rs90/- (7:30pm to 9:00pm) Beverages like buttermilk, tea, coffee, bournvita, milk are charged separately

During our Somnath visit, we had lunch at Maheshwari Dining hall. The food was delicious. The price of Thali is 90/- per person. Curd, sweet charges are extra. There is Dal , chapati , 3 types of veg and salad in thali.

Nice Guest house in Somnath...hassle free check in process...well furnish room with attached bathroom...lift facility available..there are many types of rooms available here.. Very near to Somnath main temple..just walkable distance...a big restaurant is there in basement where you get breakfast,lunch & dinner in very reasonable amount... Recommended to all...

Very good place to eat. It is quite cheap and it is unlimited and in breakfast menu is different every day. One thing in breakfast I personally liked is that they give you hot water which is really good for health.

Good people and good place to dine with. 'Satvik' khana with much cleanliness and polite behaviour which is the best in the town. Please don't dine elsewhere (unless you crave for something too spicy etc. Morning breakfast is from 7:30 Am and it consists of paranthas (2 pcs for rs35) with dahi or bhaji...and you can also have poha masala just for rs25.

We had dinner here yesterday. Its a very small hotel, but very clean and hygienic. The food is awesome. The owner and his son personally serves food. They are very friendly and caring. I saw the owner going out and helping some person who came to their hotel asking for something that they don't sell. May be this love add taste to the food. During our whole 2 days at Somnath the food that we had at Samrat was the only one which we enjoyed apart from the annadan by the trust. Anyone who goes to Samrat will not be disappointed and will go back again, like us. I am recommending this hotel for those who want good quality and quantity of tasty food at Somnath

So . today I came here with my family and we always looking food like" Ghar ka khana ".n here we got ...they made tasty food simple no onion garlic no too much masala n all we really ate tummy full unlimited food ..same as" ghr ka khana " Cn give 90/100 to the taste n only rice quality was not that much good but if all ok so we can forget rice ..as we are roti lover . Plz try once here, come again 💥
