Gusto Gelato & Caffé is a vibrant and inviting ice cream parlor that offers an extensive selection of gelato flavors, served in cups or cones, alongside a variety of coffees and cold drinks. The shop's colorful and cozy ambiance creates a delightful experience for all visitors. Whether you're craving classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla or more unique options such as Earl Grey tea and pandan, Gusto has something to satisfy every mood.
A friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I had a brilliant cone of the Snickers gelato — so creamy and packed with flavour. The whole space is super clean, beautifully organised, and much bigger than I expected, with both indoor and outdoor seating. My friend mentioned it’s usually packed, but we got lucky visiting later in the evening and skipped the line. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Ksenia U — Google review
Such a good ice cream shop with a crazy amount of flavours and massive outdoor area to sit in. Friendly staff and you are able to taste flavours before buying. I went for the banana choc + snickers. 40k for a cone/small cup which is slightly higher than average price. Recommend a stop here if you have a sweet tooth like me :)
Erin H — Google review
Already came here twice and I must say the gelato is not too sugary and so creamy. So many variations to choose from which is unique to make me come back wanting to try more flavors. One of the best gelato I have tried so far and the staffs are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about that ice cream pair are the best!
Kiara K — Google review
Several flavours are available here!! You must first pay at the counter and bring the reciept to the gelato side to choose your flavours. Small entitles you to 2 flavours which is a great thing and they let you try as well if you have doubts about which flavours to choose from. Delce flavour was abit sweet for me but stolll really good and snickers was top notch

I live in the neighbourhood so I come with my husband few times a month for a long time, but today will be my last visit because I had an extremely unpleasant experience. I ordered the caramel flavor and Hokey Pokey which was my go-to, however the caramel was bitter and tasted burnt. I spoke to a staff who didn’t speak English and she referred me the a seemingly more senior staff that does, and he told me “of course it’s bitter it’s salted caramel”. 1)No, salted caramel should not be bitter 2)It is only listed as caramel 3)It’s not my first caramel gelato in Gusto (or anywhere in this world really) and to have the audacity to say how salted caramel should be bitter is just mind blowing. 4)He didn’t even bother checking the taste himself to confirm whether it was normal and just assumed he knows better. I will be taking my business elsewhere and I hope the company sees what lack of training and problem solving skills in staff could cost you.
Viviana C — Google review
this place sells gelato. the small cup, which you can order up to two different flavors, costs 40k rupiah. you need to pay it first to the cashier, then you give the receipt to the staff who pick the gelato. they have many flavors of gelato from milk based flavor, chocolate, to the fruit ones. they can give you a sample of the flavor before you decide which one you want to order. personally, i like the dulce di lecce. it uses milk as the base flavor. what i like about this gelato is that it's not too sweet. it's creamy, and not too watery. they have indoor and outdoor areas to dine in.
Bramanto W — Google review
Tried Gusto Gelato. So many unique flavors to choose from, and the gelato itself is rich, creamy, and not overly sweet, just right. The place can get busy, but the service is fast and friendly. Great spot to cool down in Bali.
Nabila S — Google review
the one i bought is the small one (40k), 2 flavors. my favorite ones are always chocolate macaroon and mascarpone!

Balinese restaurant
Warung Babi Guling Pak Malen is a popular spot in Seminyak, Bali, known for serving traditional Indonesian dishes in a relaxed setting. The restaurant's specialty is the famous Balinese suckling pig, which is rubbed with turmeric, stuffed with a spice paste, and roasted on a spit until tender over coconut husks or wood. Despite Indonesia being predominantly Muslim and not consuming pork, Bali's Hindu majority has made Babi Guling a well-known local cuisine.
Amazing place! Love how it feels modern but still keeps the traditional Balinese vibe. The Babi Guling Special blew me away—so many flavors in one bite! The Be Genyol was super tasty too. Easy 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Luqman S — Google review
We arrived at this place around 11:40am and it was already quite crowded, with a short queue. The staff took our order and payment first before seating us, which helped streamline the process. Most customers seem to go for the combo set, which includes the restaurant's signature items like crispy pork skin, fried pork belly, and pork liver. However, the portions for each are quite small—just one piece of pork skin, two pieces of pork belly, and one piece of liver, which felt a bit limited. The sauces were a nice addition. The red chili was mild, while the green chili packed more heat and had a great flavour. The fried long bean with pork was a standout dish for me—flavourful and well-cooked—but some of my friends found it too spicy. I wasn’t a fan of the fresh coconut water, as they only serve young coconuts here. It lacked the strong coconut flavour I prefer, and tasted slightly sour and unusual to me. Overall, I can see why this restaurant is popular—the food quality is good, though it didn’t quite blow me away. It’s definitely worth a visit, but it helps to go in with the right expectations.
Ian L — Google review
For authentic Bali food! This is a must try! But try at your own risk! They have flies flying around their displayed food! But none of my friends or myself had any issue. The food is not bad. It’s worth a try. It’s affordable too! Their chilli can be quite spicy so do get some water in case! Don’t get ice in case got Bali belly!
Sebastian R — Google review
Finally, I tried this famous Babi Guling Pak Malen. As seven stars Google Reviewer I have visited many Babi Guling Restaurant, and I can confirm the taste was good. Ambience deserve 5 stars, i love the sleek modern and clean design, really elevate the Babi Guling Restaurant level into next level - All Babi Guling resto shall follow this to level up this traditional Balinese cuisine. Room for improvement on service (queue) and order-payment management, to be honest I am not a type of queueing for one plate of meal, so may consider add more cashier.
Steven K — Google review
The food 100% perfect!!! But their staff not really welcome, we was asked for help to save the yakult first at the fridge coz we want to take it later after food, but their not even willing to help us but not really matters. And the price quite affordable, so please take your time to try this best local food.
Roseline H — Google review
The food was superb! Definitely one of the best babi guling spots in Bali at the moment. I also appreciated how clean the food felt—it made me less worried about getting Bali belly! 🤭 There was a bit of a queue to order. One suggestion: it would be helpful if the menu was visible to those waiting in line, so people can decide ahead of time and speed up the ordering process. Despite the queue, the food was served quickly. The place itself was modern and clean. Overall, a very pleasant experience!🙆‍♂️
Fuda F — Google review
Wen to Bali past 2 weeks ago Enak!! this restaurant is recommended by the local driver. Is quite poplar among the local and foreigner too. I order their signature dishes. Test good, just the portion is a biz small. Cam and visit on Saturday noon. Can see there was a long queue outside the shop, the staff will serves what you want first in order to make the order faster, need to make payments first before going inside to find a seat. Can see they received many recognized certificates here on the wall.. People here usually will leave after finish dishes...not a place for you to stay long here for chitchat..
Rin Y — Google review
Authentic Balinese food, a must-try when you're in Bali! The sambal is really spicy, and the pork is flavorful. The place is clean, but when we visited, it was quite crowded. We sat upstairs, which was a bit hot. I ate and sweated. Still worth it for the taste.

Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
Warung Mak Beng is a renowned seafood restaurant in Batu Caves, known for its delicious fish head soup. Established in 1941, this eatery offers a single signature dish - fish and rice with various toppings. The ambiance by the Sanur beach adds to the dining experience. The dish consists of snapper cutlet, deep-fried and served with rice alongside a flavorful bowl of fish-head soup with green papaya and lemongrass.
initially, i wasn't sure about the taste. because i had already got experienced, that some famous food was overrated. especially fish-based food, because i lived in sulawesi and it is famous with their fish-based food but in this place, surprisingly their foods was good enough they have unique taste, especially for their head-fish soup the situation when i ate in this place was enjoyable enough. i don't know why, but maybe because the outside situation was raining when i arrived there. Their serving time was fast enough. There were so many people ate in there too i think this place is famous enough and has good reputation
Luthfil L — Google review
A legend culinary destination in Sanur area. The food is quite nice, the soup is rich of spices yet light. The fried fish was so so. The portion was just perfect with only a small amount of white rice to let all the food sit nicely in your tummy. I think it would be much better to take it as dinner instead of lunch, especially in a windy night. The soup will keep you warm after dine. You have to queue before get the food, most of the time. But, the food definitely worth the wait though.
Rex I — Google review
Mak Beng is still the best spot to try authentic Balinese fish cuisine. I went here with colleagues from abroad and the food didn’t disappoint. The fried fish was tender and juicy, while the soup was a bit salty on its own but perfectly balanced once mixed with rice. The set menu is only 55k for rice, fried fish, and fish head soup. Super affordable for the quality you get. The flavors are rich but still friendly for anyone not used to strong Balinese spices. The only drawback is they don’t take reservations. If you’re coming in a group, better have a local friend secure seats in advance, otherwise you’ll likely have to queue when it’s busy.
Krisnhaliani W — Google review
Warung Mak Beng at Pantai Sanur is an absolute classic! The set menu might be simple — crispy fried fish, fish soup, and sambal — but the flavors are unforgettable. I love the crispy fried fish and the tanginess of the fish broth soup — so refreshing and full of flavor. The fish tastes super fresh, and everything is seasoned just right. The sambal adds the perfect spicy kick. It’s the kind of meal that feels comforting and satisfying, especially after a walk by the beach. Service is quick, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is authentic local Bali — nothing fancy, just great food done right. Tip: Come early if you can; it gets crowded fast and they sell out often.
Andrew ( — Google review
Food taste okay, the fish is not so fresh but their ebi Chili is top notch. Its super spicy, and pretty hot, i think they could sell their Chili only and make a fortune. The soup is better, but the part of fish meat is considerably a second grade. The best part here is super cheap considering the fish they use and in this location, but for me the time of waiting making not really worthwhile, and even you got your seat, any waiting guest is staring at you and makes you want to finish as soon as possible
Pepperidge F — Google review
It seems to be a well-known restaurant that has probably been around locally for a long time.It is easy for tourists to understand that there is only one food menu item. In addition to the grilled fish, the soup, which I would call a Balinese bouillabaisse, was very tasty with its fish broth.Japanese people who often eat grilled fish and arabesque soup will like the taste. The fish in the soup had fewer bones than expected and was easy to eat.
Tak — Google review
My 2nd time here and the food is still really good and as hearty as before. the price is also still as affordable. Hearty fish soup with crispy fish served with sambal goreng tomat, kaffir lime, and rice. I like to add some sweet soybsauce over the sambal as well as having salmon skin crisp as crunchy element. Perfect way to start your day in Sanur! Came around 8.30 in Monday morning so it wasnt aa crowded as lunch time.
Ummu P — Google review

Located in Seminyak, Bali, Dod's Burger is a must-visit for burger aficionados. Their menu offers a variety of options including beef, chicken, and vegetarian burgers. One of their standout dishes is the crispy mushroom, and their french fries are exceptional. Despite potential wait times, the freshness of their ingredients makes it well worth it.
Oh my lord, what an incredible burger place! I was craving a fresh grilled chicken wrap and did this place deliver! Crispy fresh lettuce, juicy chicken and great mayo. Even had to get an OG burger and one of the best I’ve had. 55k for a burger or wrap + 24k to make it a meal with chips AND a drink (ice cold) couldn’t get much better - had to come back again for dinner! Will be a regular here for sure. Great service! Thanks for great service Luhtu! ❤️

Love this restaurant. They are very clean. I took a peak into the kitchen, and everything was spotless. Burgers were fantastic and service was 5 star ! Thanks guys..
Legnd 1 — Google review
Great burgers – but the smoking ruined the vibe The burgers were really good – juicy, flavourful, and the size was just right. Not too big, not too small. Everything looked clean and the buns were toasted perfectly. I also liked the option to get fries or onion rings, and the Coca-Cola came ice cold. A proper burger bar, the way it should be. But unfortunately, the experience was kind of spoiled by the location. The restaurant is right next to the main road, and while we were eating, a few people sat down and started smoking – even though there were clear “no smoking” signs everywhere. It seemed like they had permission from the staff, but honestly, sitting halfway indoors while people are smoking just ruins the atmosphere. It felt dirty and wrong, especially when you’re trying to enjoy your food. If you don’t mind the smell of smoke, this place might be perfect. But if you’re looking for a clean, relaxed vibe, maybe consider takeaway instead. The food is great – the rest just depends on what you’re okay with.

Species8472 7 — Google review
Came to Segara Bambu with friends for a seafood dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food truly delivered — everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and cooked beautifully. One small note: the grilled clam was good, but if they could go a little lighter on the sambal on top of it, it would let the natural sweetness of the clams shine even more. The real standout of the night, though, was their vegetable dishes — absolutely stellar! Every vegetable plate we tried was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, stealing the show from the seafood (which says a lot). Service was also top-notch: warm, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. Definitely planning to come back!

They put the service in a very high standard. Besides, the foods are amazing!! Tasted very Jimbaran but not that spicy as Balinese tongue 😁 Today we're celebrate my Mom's bday. And we're very satisfied. Perfect team, thanks. We can feed fish too!

Came to Segara bamboo for dinner on our first night in Bali. Segara bambu did not disappoint at all. All the dishes we ordered were extremely flavourful and well balanced. Highly recommend the Singapore crabs and salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper fish. The scallops we found slightly overcooked and the cha japchae was not really to our liking, however everything else tasted amazing including the fried fish, baked lobsters and sambal prawns. Customer service was very efficient and food prices very affordable. Definitely recommend Segara bambu if you are craving Chinese food in Bali.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Great value for the money, and you can try a variety of tasty local dishes. That said, it feels a bit overhyped. You can get the same quality and flavors at many other warungs that feel more authentic. The hype has made it a bit more westernized, so it’s lost some of that local charm.

Local place serving yummy Indonesian food. The staff are the sweetest! The athmosphere is great in the evening. Nasi Goreng was so delicious! Also, they have plenty of space inside and outside! Happened to listen to the live music they had on Tuesday as well x

Service was great, attentive without being over bearing. Took a while to get some help with a vegetarian order, however once done the meal was well liked. The gnocchi was nice. The fish and chips was tiny & quite dry. We shared the brownie with ice cream. No one finsihed the brownie as it was closer to a cake than a brownie (am sure everyone has their own ipinion of what a brownie should be like ), and the ice cream was icy. So we would recommend the pastas, certianly not the fish or brownie.

Been to Sisterfields twice and both times I was greeted by the very enthusiastic, warm and friendly staff who's service was definitely noteworthy. While their food and drinks were good I did find it to be overpriced especially just their regular bottled water. I highly recommend their breakfast sandwich and gnocchi though as they are very delicious despite their small portion. As for their baked goods selection; I personally did not enjoy their banana bread though it did look appetising. The outdoor seating is beautiful but my recent visit I sat inside by the window and was bothered by many flies, though this can't be helped as I was close to the door it was an irritation nonetheless.

Weekday lunch: crowded with no wait time Warmly greeted when we entered. Place has lots of natural sunlight and chill vibes. Air-conditioned. Short ribs rigatoni: a bit too dry for my liking. There weren't a lot of meat in the pasta. I liked that the pasta was a bit tangy to offset the rich taste of the short ribs in tomato. Would prefer the portion to be a little bigger as I was still hungry after. Pulled pork charcoal roll: pork was tender. Goes well together with the slaw. Charcoal roll was soft and fluffy. Comes with fries. Simple yet satisfying Truffle scrambled eggs: can't go wrong with scrambled eggs on toast. Crispy potato bits on top complements the toast with a nice crunch. Flowers on top were visually pleasing. Truffle oil totally alleviated it. Service was average. Crew wasn't the most attentive but overall it was a pleasant experience.

We ate dinner here. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We ordered veggie pasta, chocolate shake and a dessert strawberry rose. Everything was tasty. The portion size for the pasta was small though. The cafe is on the expensive side. The ambience of the cafe was quiet and calm. Music was playing in the background. There werent many people there.

We were last here in 2019, just before covid19 locked the whole world down. Finally back again and sisterfields and their staff are better than we remembered. Awesome food, friendly staff. Wiras was our lovely waitress. Can’t recommend this place enough 🙌🏻

Delicious breakfast spot - will definitely be back during our stay. We were immediately greeted by warm and friendly staff as we walked through the door. All the meals were delicious and filling. As my friend said “best gluten free bread ever” - we didn’t even know this was an option until the lovely server told us, would recommend you put it on your menu! I was also tempted by the sweet options at the counter and then carrot cake was lovely!

Located in the heart of Sanur, Massimo Italian Restaurant is a rustic, chef-owned eatery celebrated for its delectable homemade pastas and pizzas. The restaurant boasts a charming ambiance with three distinct areas: a garden with lush tropical greenery, a spacious indoor seating area, and an air-conditioned section for maximum comfort. As you approach the entrance, you'll be greeted by an enticing display of homemade gelato featuring an impressive array of 48 flavors.
I had lunch at Massimo Pizzeria in Sanur and tried their Diavola pizza. it was genuinely very good, with a nice balance of spice and flavor. I’d rate it 8/10 for taste. The crust was light and crispy, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Service was a bit on the slow side, especially considering the place was kinda empty, but the staff were friendly and polite once they came around. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, definitely one of the better value options in Sanur if you’re craving proper Italian pizza. Overall, a solid spot for pizza lovers, worth a visit, especially if you’re not in a rush. 🍕🇮🇹

Stopped by Massimo’s in the afternoon for ice cream and were impressed by the amaretto & tiramisu flavours — creamy, rich, and full of flavour. Note that you pre-order and pay at the register before collecting your ice cream, which keeps things flowing smoothly despite the crowds. Later in the evening, we returned for dinner with a booking. The experience began with complimentary dough balls, which were a nice touch. We shared the Chef’s Selection for our entrée — a generous variety of deli items that paired well together. For mains, we opted for a pizza. The base was beautifully crisp and the flavours worked well, though we found the burrata cheese on top a little overpowering for the rest of the ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The restaurant itself is very open-air, with plenty of fans but no air-conditioning — something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to the heat.

A pleasant meal and super professional staff. Even a check back part way through eating to see all was well. The food was very good, but; pizza base a little greasy like a pan fry. The topping (vegetarian) was excellent, but the cheese lacked flavour and the tomato base while fully tomato lacked the subtle Italian flavours of garlic and basil. The vegetarian lasagna was nice, but heavy and claggy. Perhaps interleaving some potato would have helped. Garlic bread excellent. Prices fair. Would still recommend.

Very affordable price in the busy area of sanur. And the taste is good. They have so many flavors, I try 3 of them and all are good 🤤 There are so many gelato in Bali, but Massimo is the cheapest one I guess, but the taste is really good. But unfortunately they have pistachio only on weekend 🙃🙃 Worth to try

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been to Massimo Gelato many times, and everyone here always does a great job. But this time, I want to especially appreciate Oca (the lady with glasses) because her character really stands out. There’s a way she carries herself that goes beyond good service. She doesn’t just serve, she does it with love, and when someone works with love, you can feel it.. Oca made the experience unforgettable. She’s always smiling in a way that feels genuine, not routine. When my brother asked for toppings, she added them with a full smile and playful gesture that made the moment fun. When it was my turn, she carefully asked if I had any allergies and even explained that one of the flavors had alcohol, making sure I was okay with it. That little extra care might seem small, but it showed how much she loves what she does, and because of that, we received it as more than service, we received it as kindness. These are small details, yet they carry so much weight. Because in that moment, I realized it wasn’t just gelato we received, it was care, attention, and kindness. Everyone at Massimo does a great job, but Oca’s way of serving stands out. She shares an energy that lifts the entire place, reminding us that the simplest gestures can change how a day feels. I walked out not only with gelato in hand but with a smile that stayed much longer. And that’s why I’ll keep coming back, and bring my friends too, because service done with love is something rare, and Oca makes it shine.

Best gelato with affordable price. Legendary Italian resto in Bali. The foods really good, we tried classic tiramisu and tiramisu panettone, both are good. Pizza was fine and coffee compareable with other coffee shop ;) everytime going to sanur, Massimo is a must!

Massimo Italian Restaurant is an amazing place! The entire vibe and atmosphere instantly transport you straight to Italy. The food is outstanding, and we were very impressed with the quality of the Italian classics like the spaghetti and pizza. Surprisingly, we also tried the Indonesian food and found it to be absolutely the best—a must-try! The experience was made even better by the warm service, especially from Ms. Ayuk, who greeted us with such a polite and lovely smile. Thank you for a truly wonderful day! Our second and last visit. Ms. Ayu Sri was the queen of the place. Disturbing her smile and ensuring with the customer everything is well with them. We are lucky because she was our waitress for today. Thanks for her efforts.

Mamasan Bali is a trendy, bi-level venue offering sophisticated Asian fusion dishes alongside cocktails and wine. The restaurant's interior exudes coolness with low lighting, dark wood, metal-trimmed tables, and a striking mural adorning the back wall. Created by chef Will Meyrick, known for Sarong Restaurant, Mamasan goes beyond being just a dining spot; it also functions as a lounge bar and cooking school.
Had a wonderful dinner with friends and we were impressed from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service throughout the evening was attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere made it perfect for a relaxed catch-up. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Hands down the best Modern Asian restaurant in Seminyak. Excellent service, attentive and not pushy. Imaginative and creative menu and when food is presented it wows plus it tastes incredible too. Good selection of cocktails, sorry didn’t try any wine but the list was extensive. Decor is fantastic and the booths were comfortable. Will be back.

Wow what an amazing feast we had today! We had the prawn gyoza, scallop pancakes, beef carpaccio, lobster shrimp pop corn, soft shell crab and tuna on squid ink and sago crisps. Please see the photos below. The photos don’t do the flavours justice! The sauces are paired so perfectly! The food is extremely reasonable for the exceptional taste! Our bill was only increased because of a bottle of cheapest bubbles which was $75 (fairly normal in Bali). The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was perfect, and the aircon comfort to die for! My husband and I have our secret love Nobu but this has just become one of our must go to’s!

The food is amazing. It got better dish after dish. Managed to squeeze in without a reservation, the staff was super nice and friendly. Tried a little bit of everything but what stood out was the soft shell crab and the white chocolate fudge cake. One of the best restaurants I have been in Bali.

An absolute gem for lovers of Asian fusion cuisine. Every dish was an impeccable blend of flavors — a pleasant surprise with every bite. The creativity in the menu truly shines, pairing classic Asian ingredients with modern twists that excite the palate. The cocktail list is just as impressive — from refreshing tropical blends to bold signature creations, each one crafted with finesse. The ambience is upclass yet comfortably relaxing, with soft lighting and chic décor that set the perfect mood for an evening out. A place where sophistication meets soul — ideal for date nights, gatherings, or anyone who appreciates fine taste and a little culinary adventure. What we had: Lobster popcorn Lamb shank Garlic naan Caramel martini Moscow mules

Was in the Seminyak area and decided to head here for Lunch based solely on having eaten at a number of the owners restaurants in the past both in Bali and Australia. Not disappointed at all. Had 3 smaller dishes as Starters and my favourite was the Fish Cakes, but the Betel Leaf Chicken was excellent as well. The chicken stir fry was lovely and fragrant and enough spicy heat to enjoy. Impeccable service and in a wonderful building and great comfortable seats. So glad I was able to make time for lunch amd didnt disappoint

Métis is a renowned restaurant in Bali that offers a comfortable and elegant setting to enjoy French-Mediterranean cuisine. The menu features classic French dishes, such as oysters on the shell and signature foie gras with caramelized apple and raspberry vinaigrette. Chef Nicolas Tourneville presents sophisticated haute cuisine through weekly lunch specials, including their famous couscous special on Wednesdays.
As it stated Fine Dining, the food here was finely cooked, the ambiance, the decoration, the service, and the price were all fine. Not just for couples or friends, this place is also suitable for family with young kids. Many dishes could be enjoyed for children as well. I highly recommend to make a reservation for those who'd like to try because there is always fully occupied especially at the dinner time.

An absolutely stunning venue located in Bali. This restaurant and gallery is maintained and staffed to a very high standard. The quality of food here is unmatched in comparison to other 'fine dining' venues in the area. The grounds are well maintained and it has an overall ambient and relaxed vibe. Visited here 2 days in a row and cannot fault this place. Prices are very reasonable given the quality, service and setting of Mètis. Will be back next time we're in Bali.

Excellent! We loved it! We tried the lamb, the breast chicken, the quinoa salad, the Mediterranean meze, the mushroom soup, the cakes, everything was from very good and above taste/presentation wise. The ambience of this venue is amazing and the service is attentive, professional, respectfully up-selling and very caring. Some really nice touches observed such as the pepper device and the wet rolled napkins. This place is run really well and no doubt there’s a great team behind it. Highly recommended to the most discerning foodie and socialite for an exceptional evening/dine out.

Must eat if you go to Bali. Very romantic setting. Food is superb. Try a bunch of the appetizers. First time I saw "Lucky Buddha beer" and I had to try it. Comes in a cool looking bottle. Make a reservation. The restaurant is spacious but looks like it fills up pretty quickly. Come during sunset to take photos. But its when the sun goes down and the lights all magically come on is where you see this restaurant truly shine. Wonderful experience. Incredible staff and service too

Beautiful location however a dour atmosphere. The service was poor. The taste of the individual items of the high tea was hit and miss. My coffee was cold. Pastries soft and soggy, sandwiches stale and uninteresting. Really didn't live up to the hype. Expected so much more. A real disappointment. I've had many high teas around the world and this simply has to be one of the worste. I even requested to see the champagne list. Which was produced, but not a single person came to follow up and see if I wanted a glass. Suggest people try elsewhere for a high tea

The restaurant offers three exceptional versions of the Dutch colonial classic rijstaffel, featuring shared dishes like sate, babi kecap, urap, and ayam sit sit served with fiery sambal and turmeric-scented rice.
Amazing food experience! Putra was a great waiter with extraordinary character. Really elevates the whole experience! The crispy baby duck was so good! Myself, boyfriend and parents attended the cooking class at Warung Nia and what a great experience it was - couldn’t recommend enough! The whole process was so interesting and a lot of fun. The class flowed seamlessly and has definitely been one of the highlights from our Bali trip. Our instructor Made was fantastic at engaging everyone, while informing us about the Balinese dishes we were making. As a group with mixed cooking abilities, we were all able to get completely stuck in and were guided through the process by the lovely and funny staff, making our experience even better. We made 9 dishes and it was fantastic to sit down at the end of it and enjoy an absolute feast from the food we made. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious - we couldn’t pick a favourite. We even got a recipe book to take home so we can recreate these fantastic dishes. 10/10 experience - highly recommend to anyone on a trip to Bali.

Warung Nia – A Must-Try in Bali! I ordered the pork satay and fried rice for lunch, and both were absolutely delicious — flavorful, well-cooked, and perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent too. My waitress, Nanda, was very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to, which made the dining experience even better. The restaurant has an open-air setup, so you might occasionally notice a few flies around, which is pretty normal in this kind of environment. But the food is clean, freshly prepared, and totally worth it. So if you’re sensitive to that kind of setting, it’s best not to judge the place unfairly — because the quality and taste here are genuinely great! Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and tasty local food in a relaxed Bali atmosphere.

Warung Nia Balinese Food & Pork Ribs is an absolute gem! The food is nothing short of spectacular—authentic Balinese flavors burst through in every bite, and their pork ribs are hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted, perfectly tender and packed with smoky, savory goodness. Each dish feels like a love letter to Balinese cuisine, with fresh ingredients and vibrant spices that make every meal unforgettable. The customer service is equally outstanding. Although our order arrived a bit late, the team went above and beyond to make it right, offering sincere apologies and even a complimentary dessert that was divine. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care turned a small hiccup into a moment that showcased their dedication to customer satisfaction. I left feeling so happy and can’t wait to return for more of their incredible food and top-notch hospitality. Highly recommend Warung Nia to anyone craving an authentic Balinese dining experience!

Really enjoyed the satay and pork ribs, both were flavorful! I just wish they were a bit spicier to match that real Balinese kick 🌶️ The cocktails, however, were quite bland and didn’t stand out much. I’d recommend pairing the food with a beer instead it goes better with the rich flavors. Overall, a nice spot for local dishes with good portions and friendly service!

This is the best place in Sanur for me because: 1. I had my first lunch in town here!🤗 2. The dishes are well-cooked and the portions are generous. Everything is honestly fresh and delicious. 3. Made's Warung is a lively and popular restaurant in Seminyak, Bali, offering a wide range of Indonesian and global dishes at affordable prices. Despite its name, it's not a traditional food stall but rather a sit-down restaurant that has been serving delicious Balinese cuisine since 1969. The menu features an extensive selection of Indonesian delicacies such as gado gado and whole suckling pig, along with various rice and noodle dishes.
I loved the variety of the cuisine. Everything was very clean and absolutely delicious. I specifically remember the Pad Thai and sate ayam. They were both wonderfully spicy and flavorful. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. It's a really nice spot, and the cool little boutiques nearby were a great bonus.

Such a gem of a place! A must-visit if you want to try authentic local food. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the Balinese charm here. Fery, our server, was so nice and attentive, always checking on us to make sure we were good. We loved everything we ordered - even the kids finished their plates of rice! That says a lot. They’ve also partnered with a Japanese restaurant next door, so you can order from both menus and just settle the bills separately, such a nice touch for variety. Definitely a spot we’d recommend for tasty local food, great service, and a cozy Bali experience. 👍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great dining experience at Made’s Warung Seminyak! The Nasi Campur Special was full of flavor, and the Nasi Sam Sam Crispy was perfectly cooked — crispy outside, tender inside, and so satisfying. I also loved the Arak Passion cocktail — refreshing and beautifully balanced. A special shoutout to Mbok Surya, who served us with such warmth and friendliness. She even offered me a tester of Arak Madu, which had a stronger, richer taste — definitely a must-try! Her kind smile and thoughtful service made our visit extra enjoyable. We chance upon this restaurant via Google Map as most of the nearby restaurants are closed; no regrets as the food is great. Since we arrived around 8 plus in the evening, there is no queue. The staff got us seated and ready to take our orders anytime. A special shout out to a service staff named Dayu Wina; she has been very helpful throughout. Friendly and always giving her best smile, she ensured that we had a great dining experience. Let’s get back to the food - we ordered a few dishes for sharing (e.g. Satay Babi, Satay Lilit Ikan and Sayur Urab). Both Satay dishes are delicious, but surprisingly, the Sayur Urab which is vegetables with spices and grated coconut is very undeniably new but tasty. We order a main for every one of us, Mie Goreng (Fried Noodle), Nasi Goreng ala Made (Fried Rice), Nasi Goreng Special (which is Nasi Goreng Ala Made with a few sticks of Satay), Tuna in Bali Sauce (served with rice), Udang Lumpia (served with rice) and Deep Fried Fish with Chilli Gravy (served with rice). Every food has its own merits, but all are delicious; especially the simple Mie Goreng and the Nasi Goreng. We went on to order desserts; brownies, apples crumble, lemon tart and the best among all desserts is the Fried Banana. With the great service and delicious food, it has been a great dining experience for this is my first trip to Bali.

Dandelion is a popular Indonesian restaurant in the scenic town of Canggu. The owner, Gani, is friendly and will serve you delicious food made only with quality ingredients. Try the gado-gado (vegetables in peanut sauce), chicken or shrimp nasi goreng and bananas with shredded coconut and palm sugar - all delicious!
I chose this spot very randomly for our last date night in Bali and wow was it the perfect choice! The atmosphere was so beautiful on a nice windy evening. The food was great and the staff were so kind! They even responded so well over WhatsApp so be sure to send them a message if you’d like to make a reservation. I had requested to be seated in a nice spot and they definitely delivered. I’ll be thinking about this place for a long time. If you’re ever in Canggu and would love an intimate dinner setting, let this be the one! Super highly recommended.

Casa Tua Canggu is such a beautiful and unique place to enjoy lunch or dinner. The setting feels like a little jungle oasis, full of greenery and charm, which makes the whole experience really special. The staff were impeccable—so kind, attentive, and welcoming. A wonderful touch was that they gave us food to feed the friendly rabbits that roam freely around the restaurant. It created such a magical and relaxing atmosphere, making the meal feel even more memorable. The food itself was excellent, fresh and full of flavor, perfectly complementing the incredible ambiance. If you’re in Canggu, this spot is an absolute must-visit. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience!

Best dining experience in Canggu during our 7 days. Excellent traditional food with modern twist. 2 adults + 3 kids all loved. Fit-out & ambience fantastic, pet rabbits added bonus. Highly recommended

This place is absolutely wonderful and so atmospheric. It has the best Indonesian food I’ve tried. Among all the restaurants I’ve been to, the staff here is always smiling and incredibly friendly❤️❤️❤️ They helped us make a surprise for my friend who was leaving Bali and even treated us to dessert. My friend asked for an extra dessert, and they brought it — without even adding it to the bill. We were so pleasantly surprised and touched by their kindness🙏🏼 . It’s one of those places you just want to keep coming back to. The cute rabbits walking around, that you can pet, make the atmosphere truly unforgettable🥰🥰 A big thank you to the whole team for their warmth and hospitality 🫶✨

S p l e n d i d. That what I would say. Splendid and superb service. The ambience, wild and wacky. The food, yumz. Do try the Timbungan and the Gulai. I had a lady named puji serve us. She was absolutely wonderful! There some bunnies. Sometimes you can get some carrots to feed the bunnies from the staff.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff. What else do you expect in a restaurant, we stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back to Seminyak from Tanah Lot, and what a find, they serve delicious Indonesian food with siles. Decor is really good. Must recomned this restaurant.

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was magical — beautifully lit and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food was so delicious and very reasonably priced. There were adorable, friendly bunnies roaming around the restaurant, and they even gave us carrot slices to feed them. Such a unique, wholesome dining experience. Can’t recommend it enough!

Amazing experience from start to finish! Our waiter Aldi took great care of us, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly and warm. We ordered a bunch of things to try as much as possible and every dish was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chefs and the whole crew at Ji!

Absolutely loved this Japanese rooftop restaurant I visited yesterday! The prices were very reasonable, and the view overlooking the ocean was perfect for watching the surfers ride the waves. My cocktail arrived with a dramatic dry ice effect, such a cool touch! The waiter was so lovely and attentive, even brought me extra wasabi without hesitation. Great vibes, great service, and a stunning setting. Highly recommend if you're in the area! 🌊🍣🍸

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A masterpiece of Japanese fusion with ocean vibes While staying at the enchanting Hotel Tugu next door, I discovered ji Restaurant – and it quickly became my favorite spot for dinner in Canggu. Set in a breathtaking 1930s Javanese teakwood villa, originally part of a 1706 Chinese temple, the space is filled with Asian antiques, art, and soul. It’s elegant, unique, and full of history – one of the most atmospheric places in Bali. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views over the Indian Ocean – perfect for sunset or watching the surf lineup during the day. The food is Japanese fusion at its finest – fresh sushi, creative small plates, and bold, balanced flavors. Every dish is beautifully presented and deeply satisfying. And the cocktails are outstanding – especially the Kublai, a bold and earthy mix of tequila, whiskey, tamarind, turmeric, and ginger honey. It’s a sophisticated tropical drink with a clear nod to Jamu, Bali’s traditional herbal elixir – rich, vibrant, and unforgettable. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You feel looked after without ever being rushed. A must-visit in Canggu for anyone who appreciates great food, artistic ambiance, and a bit of Bali magic.

I made a good choice by picking this restaurant based on Google Review 😆 So glad I decided to spend my afternoon here. I picked ‘build your own salad’ as I want to load more on veggies and it didn’t disappoint. The tempe and tofu were tasty too! Had Iced long black for drink and it was okay. The restaurant was cozy and has lots of fan - important point especially in the afternoon.

Service was super friendly and helpful. I was juggling my two kids alone. Always with a smile and attentive. The food was healthy, fresh and farm to table. Simple and delicious we order the coconut passion fruit pancakes, eggs Benedict with a side of bacon, avocado seeds and roasted mushrooms. All of it was really well done while easy, the ingredients were perfect. Decor is clean, minimalist and filled with light. It’s a great start of the day and fits in perfectly with the Bali vibes.

I visited this lovely lunch spot during my trip to Bali, and the food truly stood out. The place itself was very cute. Even though i don’t like pancakes, these were unforgettable, thick, soft, hearty, yet sweet and chewy in the best way. I still think about them. We also tried the falafel, which, while not entirely authentic, was surprisingly tasty and refreshing. The vibe and service were a bit flat but that wasn’t a big problem. And even though they were very polite. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Watercress Batu Belig is an incredible place, perfect for breakfast or lunch. We decided to have brunch and tried a variety of delicious dishes on the menu. They offer a wide range of coffee and tea options, and we opted for long black coffee, which was absolutely delightful. Uma, our friendly server, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the drink and menu options. The entire staff was kind and attentive. The Boujee Scramble was a standout dish. The whipped truffle eggs were perfectly cooked, with the ideal balance of scallions and mushrooms. Sourdough toast is an excellent accompaniment and there are several options. We also enjoyed scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, bacon, and ham, all served piping hot. It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Feeling adventurous, we decided to order something extra. Uma’s recommendation was spot on—the Coconut & Passion Fruit Pancakes (2) are a must-try! The pancakes were incredibly light and fluffy, and the passion fruit and candied coconut toppings were simply divine. The coconut ice cream added the perfect finishing touch. Here are a few recommendations: 1. Don’t miss out on Watercress—you won’t regret it! 2. Look for Uma—she is a great host and will steer you around the menu properly. 3. Order the pancakes—you won’t regret it! We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Watercress Batu Belig, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to Uma and the staff for making our visit so memorable.

Satisfied my craving for Açaí bowl even though it wasn’t the morning. They were kind enough to check and make it for me. Other menu items looked great too and I ended up getting lamb kofta as well. It was great! Atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I will return soon to try other items.

Watercress is the best place to have classic egg dishes. Had an amazing dinner here while visiting Bali. The food is outstanding — especially the pork dishes. The crispy pork roll and the duck confit were absolute highlights, and the mixed platter is perfect if you want to try a bit of everything. The margaritas (both classic and spicy) were excellent too — tasty, well-balanced, and served with a little bit of flair that made them even more fun. Service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt authentic and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel connected to Bali’s local side, not just the touristy version.

The pork ribs just fell off the bone, sauce went very well with it as well. The pork sate had really nice flavour as well. Crispy pork belly was good, although my least favourite out of the 3 dishes we tried. Overall the food was really nice, quick and friendly service!

It was pretty warm in the restaurant as they didn't have aircondition, only fans. Foodwise, unless you are a pork lover, i personally don't think it was out of this world. Though the pork satay and desserts were not too bad. And yes, they charge for plain water.

BEST MARINATED PORK RIBS WE HAVE EVER HAD!!! GO THERE! Just smell the beautiful aromas from the street and you will have to go there! Great BBQ out the front, beautiful service, fast service, great cocktails, the RIBS omg soooooo good, they fall off the bone and the flavour is to die for, we also had BBQ corn on the cob, chips, nasi Goreng with chicken - all absolutely beautiful food, can not fault anything, and so much fun when they dance to serve you your cocktail. Such a great fun experience! Definitely a happy and tasty one. You won't be disappointed. Better than any Aussie Ribs we have ever had! Melt in your mouth good!! We've been back a 2nd time on this Bali stay already and there might be more visits still!! Yummmmmmmm!!! 😊

Situated conveniently near Kuta Beach, this spot is perfect for those seeking traditional Indonesian fare such as soto ayam, gado-gado, and nasi pecel.
the food was alright, though my mom enjoyed it very much (prolly taste preferences). we were immediately greeted by the japanese owner and introduced us the menu and how to order because we were japanese lol.atmosphere was cozy and very localish. would come back again

After reading good reviews about this place I decided to visit here to have some authentic Indonesian food. I went to the food counter and asked them what is best I can have? Upon that, the boy and lady started giggling looking at me and I felt like they were making fun of me. I had Nasi Kare special which was amazing in taste with moderate food quantity. I finished my food and went to pay at the counter and again they started giggling at me which I found very weird. In the entire Bali, I have seen people making fun of Indians but at this place it was extreme and not at all acceptable and I am giving 3 stars only because of that bad attitude.
Aniket A — Google review
You can choose from the menu or order as many side dishes as you like from the display case (order rice first if necessary). There are about 20-30 types of side dishes in the display case, and everything I chose was delicious. The prices are reasonable. I ordered calamari separately, but it had a thick batter that reminded me of tempura, so it was a disappointment. They are used to serving in English, and although they are not particularly friendly, they are accustomed to serving foreigners. The restaurant is located on a narrow road, and taxis are likely to stop on the road just before it. It is about 100 meters from there. The atmosphere is open-air, clean, and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was that there were fruit flies in the display case.
Sky N — Google review
Delicious and affordable local food in a cozy warung-style setting! You can order from the menu or make your own nasi campur (mixed rice with side dishes) from the food bar — each dish has a different price and there’s no price tag displayed, so just ask the staff if unsure. You can choose between steamed rice (Rp6.000) or yellow rice (Rp7.000). 🍚 What we ordered: • Bihun Goreng (fried beehoon / rice noodles) – Rp22.000 → taste okay 🍜 • Nasi Campur (mixed rice with vegetables & side dishes) – Rp22.000 & Rp23.000 → both tasty and satisfying 🍛 Serving size is good and the food has good taste with cheap price — perfect for a simple, local-style meal. If you’re looking for good local food at a cheap price, this is the place to go! 😋

Great food for a good price. It’s priced a little more than in non touristy areas but still living up to the name and the quality and standard is good. I’ve been to this place many times because I like the food and being able to choose from the available dishes, assisted buffet style or ‘warteg’, though you can also order from the menu.

Delicious local dishes, pick what you fancy and pay what you order from the selection of pre-cooked items displayed on the plates or on the bain marie. Prices are reasonable, my plate cost IDR 42k (Beef Rendang, Lodeh, Bakwan Jagung, Tumis Kangkung, Nasi Kuning & Sambal Matah). The other dish with more meat was IDR 62k (Beef Rendang, Tuna Satay, Bakwan Jagung, Tempe Orek, Keripik Singkong Balado, Nasi Kuning & Sambal Matah). Tourist & local approved, definitely will be back.

Atlas Kitchen & Coffee is a popular spot known for its elevated Asian and Malaysian dishes, all served in a cozy and unassuming atmosphere. The restaurant offers a selective range of Southeast Asian influenced cuisine, complemented by carefully crafted beverages. Using fresh local ingredients, many elements of the menu are made in-house to showcase the best that Bali has to offer. Some of their signature dishes include Nyonya Prawn Noodle, Hainan Chicken, and Crispy Pork Belly.
Awesome little Malaysian restaurant tucked away down a side all in Seminyak which we are glad we found it. Friendly service and a high standard of food, plus some really interesting dishes on the menu. Started off with Char Siew Satay and Karipap, the satay's worked perfectly with the cucumber/pineapple pickle. For mains we shared the Char Kway Teow which was absolutely fantastic and the Roasted Chicken, as a few dishes had sold out. Was well impressed with the local beers available as well. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Chicken and crispy pork belly were really good. Some of the best food I’ve had in Bali. The fish wasn’t my favorite - a bit too dry and not fatty enough for my taste.

What a gem. The food was delicious and a lot of technique used to give thoughtful balanced dishes. Seriously the best curry puff I've ever tasted. Cocktails also excellent again very thoughtful and balanced. Definitely worth the 2 min walk from the main drag.

Awesome malaysian/singaporean food, best was the char kway teow, next was the chicken rice. Crispy pork belly a bit too fatty for my taste. Charsiew was good. Chicken waffle was fantastic too. Roti canai not as crispy as we had hoped, accompanying curry had generous chunks of fork tender chicken. Drinks were fantastic - mango shake was thick and heavenly, milo shiokzilla was really shiok and sinful. Teh tarik well pulled, tends towards sweet, ask for less sweet if you don't like sweet. Rose tea was warm and soothing, served in chic insulated tea cup. Great ambience, small space but well decorated, tables were clean, we played some card games while waiting for food and after finishing our meal. Place is in the small alley from main road, have to walk in a bit. Owners are Indonesian and Malaysian, friendly and came to chat with us about our meal. Will suggest to expand menu and include some south east asian desserts like chendol, ice kachang, ice jelly, grass jelly, or Chinese desserts like almond paste, sesame paste. We would have ordered these if they were on the menu.

Sangsaka Restaurant is a trendy and stylish Indonesian dining spot in Bali that has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant offers classic Indonesian dishes with a modern twist, served in a contemporary setting. Guests have raved about the delicious appetizers, which are described as an explosion of flavors. The cocktail bar is highly recommended, with standout drinks like the Balinese Margarita and Sumatran Negroni.
This place exceeded my expectations in every way. Flavours that I’m used to as an Asian is interpreted in a unique way that I feel like I’m rediscovering Asian flavours all over again. Every plate was a taste explosion and no sauces are ever repeated (and they were all good). Although Bali is filled with amazing food, I feel like this is the only place that I would want to repeat instead of exploring others. Each plate might seem pricey for some at first but after taking a bite, you’ll feel it’s worth every penny. Recommended.

It's an ideal spot for a light breakfast or lunch before heading to Canggu beach. The cafe, opened by the Sudana family, showcases the best Balinese coffee using traditional methods to ensure top-notch organic quality, freshness, and flavor.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Café Experience That Feels Like a Restaurant — Refined, Welcoming, and Delicious We had a truly wonderful experience at Satu Satu Coffee in Canggu, one that exceeded expectations and earned a solid 5 stars — with only the smallest areas for improvement. ☕ Impeccable Service & Atmosphere From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional. It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here — from the neat, coordinated uniforms to the way every order is clearly repeated and double-checked for accuracy. It made us feel well looked after. While the indoor seating is limited, the café makes excellent use of the space and maintains a relaxed, polished vibe that leans more toward a boutique restaurant than a typical coffee shop. 📖 Menu & Culinary Experience The menu is diverse and exciting, with dishes drawing inspiration from multiple international cuisines. The inclusion of clear photographs of each item is especially helpful, making it easier to choose with confidence. The coffee is outstanding — rich, aromatic, and expertly made. I tried the Latte with almond milk, as well as the Luwak coffee, and both were top-tier. Their offering of alternative milks and full coffee style range is impressive and reflects a deep commitment to quality. Honestly, the coffee here rivals the best you’ll find, even in top-tier global chains. 🍽️ Food Quality & Presentation Meals were beautifully presented and just as enjoyable to eat. The kitchen clearly holds itself to a high standard in both flavour and appearance. We felt we were getting restaurant-level dishes in a café setting, which is rare and impressive. 🍰 Dessert & Dining Comfort Dessert was a highlight — delicious, rich, and thoughtfully prepared. The only small letdown was the frozen blueberries, which were too cold to enjoy right away. Still, it was a minor blemish on an otherwise delightful dish. One small point to note: the outdoor area doubles as a smoking section, and this wasn’t made clear during booking. It made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere due to smoke. That said, the team responded quickly and kindly to our request to move indoors, which we appreciated. ⸻ ✅ Final Thoughts Satu Satu Coffee delivers a first-class café experience — blending exceptional food and coffee with warm, professional service. With a bit more clarity around the smoking policy and small tweaks like fresh (rather than frozen) dessert garnishes, it could be nearly flawless. Regardless, it remains one of Canggu’s true gems, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Such a wonderful spot! The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel like part of the family — especially Nura, who is always so warm and welcoming. They know you by name and look after you in the best way. The food is delicious, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant. On top of that, the deals they offer are amazing and truly worth every penny. A place with great food, great atmosphere, and even greater people highly recommend!

A contemporary cafe with an expansive selection of food & beverage offerings. Both outdoor and indoor seatings are available. Guava Kombucha was great tasting with a balance of sweetness and acidity. Their breakfast sets are generous and healthy options are available. Service is friendly.

We often have lunch at Satu Satu and every time we leave happy. The food is always fresh and delicious, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The menu is diverse — you can choose something light or enjoy a full, satisfying meal. What’s especially nice is that the prices are very reasonable for this level of quality and service. The staff are always friendly and attentive, greeting you with a smile and serving quickly. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it comfortable whether you come alone, with friends, or with your family. We love Satu Satu so much that we always recommend this café to our guests when they ask where to enjoy a delicious and pleasant lunch in the area. Thank you for the warmth, excellent service, and care for your visitors — we’re proud to share such a place with others.

10/10. THE BEST STAFF. GREAT FOOD I had the best service experience here, that I never had anywhere else (I travel a lot) It’s the time of the month and I sat down and putting pressure on my lower abdomen (IYKYK) then a woman staff came up to me asked if I want warm water. I was surprised as I didn’t say anything to anyone, she then gave me warm water and asked if I want a pillow to help put pressure on my belly. She’s such an angel. I never had that kind of treatment on any establishment and to think I didn’t even say a word. She’s just so attentive and genuinely caring. She’s my favourite 🥹 I’m shy to ask her name but I took a photo of her. Whoever you are, If you read this, just know it means so much to me what you did ❤️❤️ ❤️ And ofcourse, the rest of the staff are all great as well. Always smiling and attentive, ready to help in any way they can. Oh! And also their food is great and the ambience. There is outside seating and indoor. 10/10 recommended

Warung Makan Nikmat halal is a popular eatery in Kuta, known for its delicious local dishes at affordable prices. The menu includes traditional oxtail soup, curries, and vegetable side dishes. A must-try is the beef rendang cooked in a thick chili and coconut milk sauce. The restaurant caters to various dietary preferences with vegetarian, vegan-friendly, and halal options available throughout the day.
The lady that served us our food speaks English well so no language barrier at all. The food is 10/10 and the portion is definitely sufficient to fill you up! Price was also very reasonable, 37k Rupiah for both of the portions shown in the photo. Chicken is a little dry but super flavourful. Definitely worth to visit!

The food was OK, a bit salty. I saw many reviews that the price was mostly around 25k. I ordered very little but was charged 50k! The beef soup was 26k extra, there was no clear price tag, and foreigners were charged a different price!!! A total of 76k

it's a halal local restaurant located near kuta. they sell east java food, nothing fancy, just delicious daily food. first, you come to the staff, and order whatever suits you. they usually give you rice, and then you can choose the proteins and veggies. i like their fried scrambled egg, stir fried tempe, and kangkong or morning glory. you can ask for sambal or chili paste too. once you order, they will give you the food and a price tag indicating the money you have to pay. but, just sit down, order the drink, and eat your food. once you finish eating, bring the price tag to the cashier and tell them what your drink is to pay the total price. they can speak basic english. for the parking area, it's more suitable for the motorcycle.

My favorite place for local food. I start with a Kopi Susu. Noodles and some sliced green beans for my health. I've eaten here a dozen times in the past few years and I've not gotten ill from the food here. That's why I keep going back. The people are always wonderful to me as I only know English.

This is hands down my favorite spot for local food. I always kick things off with a Kopi Susu, then dive into the noodles with some sliced green beans to balance things out. I’ve been coming here for years — easily a dozen visits — and not once have I had a bad experience or gotten sick from the food. That’s saying a lot! The staff are consistently kind and welcoming, even though I only speak English. They always make me feel comfortable and at home. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back great food, good vibes, and genuine people.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Seminyak, Tamade Cafeteria is a charming family-run café that offers an inviting atmosphere adorned with murals created by local artists. This hidden gem is renowned for its authentic home-cooked Indonesian cuisine, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. One standout dish is the Umami Bowl, featuring tender braised chicken served over fluffy steamed rice and drizzled with a delectable salted egg sauce—an experience unlike any other!
Such a quirky place to come have dinner! The menu was very short and simple. The food was very good, and very reasonably priced. Especially liked the crispy omelette. The family who own the restaurant run the kitchen and serve you as well. You can ask them about the art work on the walls. There’s a lot of graffiti which they have done themselves and heaps of verses written on the walls (a few of which are quite funny). Definitely not your usual run of the mill place for dinner.

Good experience! Home cooking concept! Friendly service! I googled that place upon arrival so yeah I will be a bit picky since I did my home work! It was a hidden gem but we could find it easily! Its home cooking place since it looks like someones big house and imagine If you will cook for your family! So we got a good vibes! It wasnt crowded but since It was only 2 people running the show - took some time! Food were in a good level if we talk about quality and the portions were huge even for me. But it is a bit problem with spices ! ITs too much or too little! For example , too much of tomato sauce or trestles rice! Drinks were fine. But could be better in terms of strength or flavor! It was a good first time exp so I wish you all the best! cheers!

Stumbled upon this little food joint. It’s icon is the Japanese/Chinese cat and it really caught my attention. The entire food joint was very comfortable but it is fairly small...Biggest table is for 8pax. Food wise, the Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng were on point! Highly recommend these 2 dishes!

Very delicious home-cooked comfort food. Spicy Mee Goreng was flavorful, unlike the one we had in Malaysia. Salted egg yolk chicken rice tasted different unlike those in Malaysia or Singapore, this is sweet based instead of salty. French fries with minced pork and cheese was really a surprise, very good! And the minced pork noodle worth trying as well! Recommended: Mee Goreng, French fries with minced pork and cheese

Always the best donuts. Today I went there for breakfast with my wife, and they are truly the best donuts I've ever had. They have so many flavors you won't know where to start. I highly recommend the Oreo, my favorite. The coffee is also excellent; the cappuccino is definitely top-notch. An ideal place for breakfast or tea. 10/10

Enjoyed freshly handcrafted doughnuts with Iced Americano and Iced Latte at Dough Darlings Seminyak for breakfast. I was surprised to see the variety of Doughnut options they were offering. The fluffy textured Salted Caramel Almond and White Choco Speculoos were perfectly sweet. They have also introduced delicious vegan doughnuts (Rice Choco and Cinnamon Sugar). Good vibe with ambient music, great wifi and friendly staff.

The donuts are super fluffy and light, not too dense so they don’t feel heavy at all. The sweetness is well-balanced and the toppings are creative with lots of unique flavors. Perfect for coffee pairing or a light dessert. The place itself is also cozy for a quick stop. ✨

It was an excellent place to sample some doughnuts in the late afternoon. It wasn’t very busy given the time of the day but a lot of their flavours had sold out. Every thing we sampled was very good quality. I highly recommend the gluten free mini bubble doughnuts. Drinks were also refreshing and nice. Recommended

Their donuts are next-level good! The dough is perfectly fluffy... soft yet full and satisfying. Tried the blueberry lime donut, and wow! The flavor just bursts in your mouth, not too sweet, just right. A solid 10 for me. Giving 4 stars as there is always room for improvement and enhancement and can't wait to see more flavors coming in. Definitely worth a stop when you are in Bali! 💛

Unique flavors and perfect coffee pairing! Dough Darlings Seminyak never disappoints! I tried the blueberry mint and white chocolate donuts—both were soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. The blueberry mint was surprisingly refreshing, while the white chocolate one was rich and smooth without being too sweet. Paired them with a cappuccino, which was just the right strength to balance the sweetness. The donuts are clearly made fresh daily, and you can taste the quality. The space itself is beautifully designed—stylish yet cozy. A perfect spot for a sweet treat and a great cup of coffee in Seminyak!

Sweet treat heaven! Dough Darling's dough is a GAME-CHANGER! Soft, fluffy, and utterly addictive, it's like a cloud in every bite. The unique flavors and toppings are creative and delicious, but the real star is the dough itself. Perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, it's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Highly recommend for a delightful treat that will leave you craving for more!

The donuts were exceptional! Beautifully crafted, with inventive flavors and a perfect balance of sweetness. Each bite offered a delightful contrast of textures, from the pillowy softness inside to the delicate glaze on top. The coffee latte was smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed, making it an ideal pairing with the donuts. Service was attentive and gracious throughout, and convenient parking made the visit all the more seamless. Dough Darlings Seminyak is a standout! The The best cappuccino I’ve had so far! I always come back for the fresh and healthy food. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a nice coffee and good / healthy food. We came here after a crazy workout and it was definitely worth it. The design of the place is really nice and calming - a lot of natural lighting which is nice. We got the Aussie coffee (basically a flat white with double espresso shot) and the vegetarian English breakfast which was fantastic. I liked the combo. All the ingredients are fresh and the plate overall was very colourful and full of flavor. The staff are nice and the food came quick.

Penny Lane is a boho-chic restaurant located just off Jalan Batu Bolong, offering a mix of Balinese dishes and Western favorites in an open-air venue. The restaurant's ambiance is characterized by an airy feel with a glass roof adorned with vines, murals, stained glass, fountains, and chandeliers. It's popular for brunch due to its beautiful setting and diverse menu featuring dishes like shakshuka and Dragon Bowl Z.
Penny Lane is one of the most beautiful restaurants we visited in Bali. From the moment you step inside, the design makes a statement. The architecture is grand yet warm, with intricate details and open spaces that make you want to pause and take it all in before you even sit down. It feels like every corner has been thoughtfully put together to create an atmosphere that is equal parts artistic and welcoming. It is the kind of place that feels special whether you are stopping in for a casual lunch or settling in for a longer evening meal. The food more than matched the setting. The fresh coconut we ordered was incredible, filled with refreshing water and plenty of soft, sweet coconut meat that made it stand out from any we had elsewhere. The Mediterranean platter was also excellent, especially the grilled vegetables, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Everything we tried tasted fresh and carefully prepared, the kind of meal that feels nourishing and indulgent at the same time. The staff were warm and attentive, making sure we were well looked after without ever rushing us, which only added to how much we enjoyed our time there. What made Penny Lane so memorable was how well everything worked together. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and the atmosphere was stunning. It is a place that feels designed to impress, but it also delivers on quality and comfort, which is not always the case with restaurants that look this good. It left such a lasting impression on us and is a spot we would recommend to anyone visiting Canggu, not just for the food but for the experience of being in such a beautiful space.
Kyla S — Google review
The restaurant is actually located outside. You may not be able to tell with all the decor but make sure you wear your bug spray. The aesthetic of the place is beautiful. They have pics of rap and r&b artist throughout the restaurant. Who could miss the last supper above the bar! We had reservations for a group of 20+ and they were able to accommodate us. I ordered the Popeyes fried chicken sandwich, onion rings, truffle prawn, and buffalo wings. The wings were good but definitely not buffalo wings. There was no sauce or spice. They tasted sweet. There wasn't enough truffle on the prawns. I got some to go for a friend and they drenched the pwrans with the truffle sauce. My chicken sandwich and onion rings were on point. My appetizers and main dish came out 5 mins apart. They gave me no time in between to enjoy. Although my experience was 4/5 some people in the group had to send back their steak because it didn't smell fresh and salmon was under cooked.

Absolutely loved Penny Lane! The atmosphere is gorgeous — relaxed, stylish, and perfect for a Bali dinner out. The food was incredible; the steak was perfectly cooked and juicy, served with crispy fries and flavorful sauces. The loaded fries with fried chicken were a total standout too — so flavorful and generous in portion! Everything came out fresh and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Canggu — can’t wait to come back!
Grace J — Google review
Enchanting! From the moment you step inside, Penny Lane is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled within a lush tropical garden, the restaurant feels like stepping into a sublime paradise. Inside, every detail is extraordinary — modern lanterns and string lights are hung with artistic vision, weaving effortlessly through hanging vines beneath the glass roof. Unique sculptures and art pieces add character, creating a space that feels both grand and warmly inviting. It’s easily one of the most beautiful restaurants we’ve visited in Bali. The food is equally impressive — fresh, flavorful, and so irresistible that we returned multiple times. Perfect for a romantic date night, the combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and the magical atmosphere makes Penny Lane truly unforgettable. Can’t wait to return on my next Bali trip! 🌴

a must when visiting Bali. recommended menu: NASI CAMPUR. our favorite is menu 3, price about IDR 50K (without dendeng). worth the price. recommended drink: iced tea they have several choices of Nasi Campur, the difference between them are the selection of meat/menu. more choice of menu, more expensive. available for takeaway, but price will be IDR 65K. note that you should bring box with ice if you need to bring with airplane. no AC, but fan available. for men, better order 2. for women, its okay to order 1. 1 porsion used to be not as small as now.

The sweet and spicy sauce was really really good, it complimented the pork really really well. Definitely will comeback to eat here again!

We have been 12 days in Bali, sadly we found this place on our last day. I was gonna stay here I would keep coming. This was one of the best meals we had while in Bali. Must order the pork ribs were delicious 😋

One of the best pork-themed restaurant in South Bali! The pork ribs and pork belly are soft and crispy at once! The truffle sauce makes it top notch. Awesome servings overall ✨

Warung Jawa - Moro Seneng is a popular eatery among locals, known for its traditional Javanese dishes and affordable prices. The buffet-style service allows customers to choose from a variety of local favorites like chicken curry, omelet slices, and vegetable dishes piled onto a plate of rice. The open-fronted roadside setting lacks air conditioning but offers an authentic experience with more locals than tourists.
I ate here almost every night on my 3 weeks stay in Sanur - and the nights I didn't I regretted going to a tourist restaurant, paying double price for half of the food, and it tasting like nothing as most tourist-focused restaurant use very little spice. This place is a typical buffet style warung with genuine Indonesian food. It has maybe 10 different choices of veggie dishes and another 10 ish with meat, so you never get bored. Most of the time I had no idea what I was eating, but it all tasted delicious. You can select 4-5 dishes and it won't cost you more than 20k. Next to it there's a juice bar with juices for 10k.

This is my standard breakfast/lunch spot. The people are very nice and explained what food was what because I only know English. I have eaten here over a dozen times in the past ten years and I have not gotten sick. So that's one of my reasons for going back.

Not sure what I ate but I was guided by a handful of nice Indonesian women. This place serves traditional Indonesian food. I had different iterathons of chicken with a giant bowl of rice with a soda. Total was 40k. Great service and nice folks. Will come again

Good Nasi campur, plenty to choose from and cheap. Although it’s confusing with the price. Sometimes the price is different even if I order the same thing. I usually get the ayam sisit and tempe kare, but will keep coming back to try more. There’s a really lovely woman that works there, she’s always happy to see foreigner speak Indonesian 😆 I love the es jeruk too but would like to try the juices. They have another menu if you don’t feel comfortable choosing Nasi campur

Great place to eat Indonesian food. Also as a vegetarian (many delicious options). Perfectly spicy and flavourful. Affordable price and you can even buy groceries/veggies/fruits/krupuk there to bring home. I’ve been eating from here many times either takeaway or in the shop. Suksema. Enak banget selalu.

Good food for a cheap price. So many choices. And yes all indonesian food. The real indonesian food without fancy touch, without gastronomic technic. This is what indonesian eat back in the 40s 50s 60s when rich people also couldnt taste something from outside country.

Great Makasam Padang. Went with family and couple of the families grandkids. Plenty of good choices. 4 plates and 2 coke cola was 88'000. Only issue was we where hpoing for Rendang, but had all sold out

Wanting to experience traditional Indonesian food, I now regard this as one of the best in Sanur in terms of value & taste. At my first time here, the staff were very helpful in navigating the serving system. I learned that one makes their selections incl drink & a token is given indicating the total cost. If you get more, another token is given & payment made at the end.

Taqisa Mexican Food in Sanur is committed to serving up authentic homemade Mexican dishes using traditional family recipes passed down through generations. The menu offers a variety of options, including a la carte choices and customizable tacos, burritos, and bowls. Guests can expect generous portions of fresh ingredients prepared by hand in the kitchen. Visitors have praised the flavorful Carne asada nachos and street tacos, noting their authenticity and ample toppings. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere add to the overall dining experience.
Taqisa serves up a solid Mexican bite. The burrito with shredded spicy pork was fantastic—hearty and full of flavor. The fish salad didn’t really hit the mark for me, but overall the food was good, service was efficient, and everything was quick in and out. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving Mexican in Sanur.

not bad. plenty of street bike parking. portions decent but nachos and sandwhich messy to eat/fell apart (that’s normal for nachos but not for a sandwhich). taste was good. indoor and outdoor seating. annoyances r having that expensive pointless glass water option only (35-40k for 1.5 glasses) and the manager checking in with who’s your meal? nobody wants this. seating inside not comfortable. overall good for the taste, but not the experience.
NoahJon M — Google review
A friend recommended it. We found it interesting since it's a bit different from the usual taste of Mexican food we have had. It taste good though and have a big portion. So, it has reasonable price as well as friendly service. Should try it if you are in Sanur.

Really yummy tex mex. My wife had the chicken burrito 🌯, I had the al pastor. The chicken was both our favourite. The burritos are a really decent size, the tortillas are light and delicious. Beans are great, rice is nice. I didn't get the nachos, but they looked amazing, I'd definitely try those the next time. The staff were really friendly, the lime drink was delicious, the tortilla chips were crispy and not oily, sauces were spicy and flavoursome. The restaurant is modern, clean and comfortable. Definitely put it on your list for a lunch or snack.

Amazing coconut rice. Lovely grilled river fish. Really good vegetables. Good sauce.ask for more onions in your sauce. It's a very popular spot and rarely see expats or tourists here but that's just because they don't know about it. A special place for big family gatherings.

Coming from Australia to Bali as a massive fan of frozen yogurt I absolutely loved this place. There weren’t many flavours but the ones that were they were really good. I put dragonfruit and chocolate yogurt in my bowl with peanut butter Oreos, choc chips, mini marshmallows, nata de coco, Nutella, and lychee gummies and it was absolutely delicious. (Peanut butter Oreos are a must try!)

Nice looking shop but yoghurt was quite underwhelming. Plenty of snacks and fruits to add in to your yoghurt bowl. Price is by weight 24k for 100g + 10% tax.
Terry L — Google review
A self service yogurt place. The location is great, the service was okay, but I am sorry yhat I’m not a fan of their yogurt. The white one (I forgot the name, if I am not mistaken it’s the vanilla one) was the best flavour of all. But the other flavours tasted so artificial on my palate which I dont prefer ☹️ But thats okay, at least I picked one best flavour for me and I was with a friend who loves it and he finished all mine so there was no waste 😊 Not every flavour is yogurt, some are soft serve but they do put information on each of the machine. Lots of choices for the topping.
Nadia Q — Google review
A little froyo spot in the middle of kayu aya, recommended for those looking for a cool place to cool down and enjoy a sweet treat. Decent frozen yoghurt with a variety of flavors from plain, pineapple, avocado, chocolate, melon and yuzu. My personal favourite is the avocado-chocolate swirl & plain tart. Price is Rp 24,000 per 100 gr and my bill came about Rp 74,880 for 312gr.

if i could rate it a zero, i WOULD. horrible taste, every ice cream were sold out except for 3. and they make the topping machine flow everything quick so that you could pay more. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Kloklo — Google review
Do not recommend. The yogurt tastes all artificial. Most the machines are out and sloppy. Had the smallest bit and was over $8. Disgusting! Do not go here!
Georgia — Google review
Similar concept to Australia’s Yo-Chi but definitely not as delicious. Flavours of yoghurt really sour & didn’t sit well with someone with mild lactose intolerance. Beware the add ons. You turn the compartments & a whole heap pours out no matter how hard you try to control it. Good business for them as it’s charged by weight! Tried & wouldn’t go back personally.
Koalafood C — Google review
It's not great quality yogurt - keeps it's shape meaning it has probably added emulsifiers and/or extenders, so mid-range product Large cup means it's easy to overload at higher price I enjoyed it, but be aware it's not as healthy as perhaps you'd think, and easy to over-portion and you pay per 100g of product But, will try again now I know how it works

The difference between reality and the pictures…. Walked here this morning for the pictures. It doesn’t really look the same 🤷‍♂️. The lower level seems to be in some construction. The working level is the second floor. Nothing bad but a little dusty and drubbed. Had the Nasi Goreng, wasn’t bad but nothing great either. There are better places here.

Staff were super humble and always smiling. Loved the service. If you’re looking for a nice dinner spot, totally recommend. 10/10.

I had my first breakfast in Canggu at Ons Warung, and it was certainly a good one! I initially wanted to have pancakes, but got curious about the coconut syrniky so had to try! It was presented very nicely and served with fruits, strawberry jam and coconut sauce, and a fruit juice. I liked it: tasty and not too sweet. The ginger tea was also good, made with fresh ginger and spices. I went back a few times, and everything I ordered was good (chicken wrap, dadar gulung, banana pancakes, espresso, smashed avocado toasts with poached eggs). The restaurant has two floors, which both have a nice atmosphere, and it is possible to sit at tables or at counters overlooking the street. All staff members are very friendly. All of that for a great price. I will definitely go back. Terima kasih to the team!

It's amazing to see these from a proper restaurant. At least i can eat them without worrying about hygiene. I love the place. It's so calming. Somehow it feels like we're in a private area even though the area we sit at was close to other tables. Probably the vibe. The team was also very helpful and knowledgeable on every menu we asked. Great job! Will i return here? Of course, I will recommend it to others in my circle too.

Found Plastic in My Meal I was really disappointed with my experience here today. While eating, I found a small piece of plastic (looked like glass) inside my meal — which is unsafe and very concerning. I showed it to the staff, but there wasn’t much of a proper response or apology. I understand that accidents can happen, but cleanliness and food safety should always be the top priority for any restaurant. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their kitchen hygiene and quality control to make sure this doesn’t happen to other customers.

Surprisingly delicious local cuisine! We have lunch here and very surprised by how authentic and delicious all the food here. For salad and starter we try Urab, cah kangkung and plencing kangkung, all is authentic and very flavorful, the main dish we try grilled prawns, grilled carps, chicken and fried tempeh. It’s just amazingly delicious, the shrimp paste with Balinese herbs and spice really bring this food into another level. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff very friendly.

Visited for lunch at this open-air spot in Bali, but the experience left much to be desired. Despite the pleasant atmosphere, the price doesn't align with the portion size. The dishes were disappointingly lackluster, particularly the grilled prawn and clams, which lacked flavor compared to Jimbaran. The only highlight was the sauteed water spinach. To top it off, I discovered a fly in my tofu, completely ruining my appetite. While the manager offered apologies and a complimentary fruit platter, it doesn't make up for the hygiene lapse. Removing the fried tofu and tempeh from the bill felt like a necessity rather than a goodwill gesture. In conclusion, I strongly advise against this place. The cost doesn't justify the portions, and the taste falls short of expectations. Hygiene concerns further mar the overall dining experience.

If you're looking to treat your loved ones to delicious Balinese cuisine, Ayam Betutu Khas Gilimanuk is a great choice. Located in the Pemecutan Kaja area, this eatery offers tender and flavorful ayam betutu, a traditional Balinese dish. It's known for its unique blend of spices that make the chicken exceptionally tasty.
I've not try the other branch close to the airport. But this place is pretty good flavor, taste and enough pedas from the spiced kuah. We order one Ayam Betutu Kuah and one Fried Bebek. Both comes with side dishes of fried peanuts, sambaled kangkong and beansprouts+grated coconut+kangkong. These side dishes are one of the better ones I have tasted 👍. This place is clean and their service is good. Will definitely come back again.

Another branch of ayam betutu khas gilimanuk. On the main road and wide parking lot. This time I tried the nasi campur. Nasi campur is really nice has so many stuff on it. There are chicken, peanut, sambal matah, the small slice of betutu sauced chicken, tempe, fried flour corn, vegetables, soup and rice. Overall is really enjoyable and hot enough for spicy lover. Love the dish, definitely will visit again next time

Good food with spicy Herb. We go to here at night when the place almost close, lol. Thanks god still can taste the famous ayam betutu in here. The spicy chicken make you want more to taste it. Also they have sate lilit in here. Drink it with temulawak make it complete. The price is not to expensive, reasonable price make. Hope all of you enjoy this menu.

I would like to say this branch having lower quality than the other branch near Airport. The rice was cold, chicken betutu’s flavor was tasteless. I must say the same flavor that I tried only the satay lilit. The plus is they have spacious parking lot.

Located on busy Merdeka Street. One of the most well-known betutu restaurant in Bali. Their betutu is delish and of course, a must-try menu. I also tried their chicken lawar, which turned to be pretty delish as well. Price is rather affordable. Large sitting area and parking area. What needs to be improved is the service though. It took them more than 20 minutes just to serve the drinks I ordered. Overall, a recommended place to eat Balinese cuisine.

Really nice warung with nice outdoor seating area. Still relaxing even though next to busy road. Food came out quick and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the Nasi ayam
EmmasFoodOdyssey — Google review
The place is a typical Warung and mostly serves locals. If you can speak a bit of Bahasa it helps as they have little to no English. As they sat us down, we asked for the menu but apparently there is not such thing as they serve only one dish available. So we obliged and awaited for the surprised dish, we figured it must be tasty and somewhat well-balanced. They also sold us "freshly squeezed" orange juice which was probably half orange watered down up to 3/4 of the glass. When the food arrived it was stone cold and consisted of a bit of white rice and broken up boiled chicken with a couple of green leaves and a quarter of overboiled egg. The taste was very bland and tasted just like the ingredients mentioned, boiled rice and boiled dry chicken. If this was the delicacy that was so well praised in the previous comments, so be it, we can make peace with these cold and bland flavors but when they charge you almost 150k rs for it, you just realize that, they not only dont care about the food they serve, they are also not interested in creating returning customers and have very little respect for foreigners. This is such a shame as we were hoping for some authentic food experience. We dont mind paying for decent food and or the experience but this was almost like a slap in the face. Fingers crossed we won't get sick from cold food that has been sitting there for hours...

I am a regular visitor to this local warung. It serves a set dish; “nasi campur bali”, either with plain rice or porridge with a full broth. Accompanied with local sambal (matah) . Always drink the freshly squeezed orange juice (Indonesian style) asked without sugar. After ordering the food arrived within minutes . I will be back again.

The food was nice, the staff kind. Even they has renovation place in front but people still can eat in the back warung and the place is nice.

Absolutely disgusting food. Mostly bones and fat. They told us there is only one food option and no menu. We paid 102k for 2 meals and 2 waters. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

My brother took me to here. Even though I'm veganism, but it is still taste very good. Few vegetables are available like typical mixture of different onion and spicis ava tomato, cucumber and it's special combination of sauces that becomes Bali only. Also mixture of green vegetables from green beans, baby green bean, papaya leaves. And fried Tempe like chips, crunch peanuts. Of course date ayam and chicken broth. Simple vegetables and meat, balance of sauce, with years of heart work, shows it's own flavor. Happiness comes from a looks simple and best daily best food. Comfortably and smile go on all day long from you mouth, tongue, stomach, eyes and memories, most important is from your burp. I always visit whenever I'm here. This is my must recommend restaurant to you. Little parking in front, few space can be park near by, washroom is there.

Very very tasty n delicious. Balinese chicken rice. Both dry and with soup(with rice cake) are really good. The service is fast and the restaurant is very clean and bright with big and thick long table. Very recommended.

Consistent taste, clean place, fast service. They sell authentic ayam bali dish with lawar and you could pick either rice, rice cake or porridge to eat with it. The smokey flavour of the chicken, garnish with sambal matah, fried peanut, lawar putih and minced chicken satay, make me keep coming back to this warung.

If you're in Kuta, Bali and craving authentic Balinese cuisine at affordable prices, look no further than Warung Wardani Tuban. This restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, including nasi komplit with a selection of meats and vegetables, flavorful satay, fresh green beans cooked in authentic Balinese sauce, and tender rendang. The optional Nasi Campur package allows you to customize your meal according to your preferences.
This restaurant sells the most delicious non-pork mixed rice in Bali in my opinion. We often stop by to eat or at least take away. The mixed rice has a variety of side dishes that are generally delicious. No wonder, this place is always crowded. The price is also affordable.

Decent place next time the airport. Service was fast. Ordered the nasi campur komplit set. Liked the sides dishes. The prawns with shells at first looked inedible but end it was so good. Everything was good except the soup was ok only.

The place is so deceiving from the front look. It looks nothing special. Just like any ordinary resto. But when we got inside. Wow... Impressive! I like the decoration, the vibe, it's so relaxing. Not overly decorated, not too little, just great! But there's a downside, because it's so spacious, calling the attendants is challenging. Luckily the table nearer to the mini bar heard me and also called out to the team. The food is pretty good. They didn't give too many options, to avoid people going banana choosing which is the better one. But i must take note of the coffee. Please use some filters. Well probably the idea is to make it like how people of the past or tradition. But i just can't enjoy it. 2 of my friends also cannot. I still manage to drink half of the cup. My friends leave them looking untouched. One more thing i like is, the place prepared a lockable charging cabinets. Impressive! Despite that, i certainly will come over again! Great job guys!

About 10 mins (15-20mins for U Turn and Jam) from the airport. Location+cleanliness: 4/5. Place is clean and huge, catered for tour groups. Came in the morning before 10am and only a few tables occupied. By 10am, the tour groups came strolling in. Food:4/5. Order the Complete set and for those that want to stay away from chili, do order the complete as the dishes are separated from the rice. You can pick the chili. The rest of the menu, ingredients are all in a plate. Food is tasty and good, slightly dry. This is halal so no pork. The beef is tender and nice. Overall, if you want something quick and near airport, this is a good consideration. If you have time to spare, there are other options. Drinks: 4/5, Bali Kopi is nice and thick. Price: 3/5, consider expensive by local standard.

My husband and I were after a quick meal near the airport as we had to catch our flight and stumbled upon this warung. It's not exactly a warung in the traditional sense considering the size, but the food was good with a taste of homemade food. Portion was perfect, not too much not too little. Service was quick too, so perfect if you are on a tight window before your flight.

Balinese restaurant
Sate Plecing Mak Lukluk is a cozy and relaxed dining spot in Bali known for its high-quality Balinese pork satay with spicy sauce and beef soup. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of meat dishes, including Indonesian pork satay with sweet soy sauce, Balinese pork soup, Balinese beef soup, Indonesian beef satay with spicy sauce, and more.
The sate babi plecing, meat is tender, the chili (plecing) is nice and spicy, adding the sweet soy sauce really brings out the flavour. Babi goreng sambal matah is really nice, eat it with steam rice, you will taste the best comfort food. Bakso goreng babi is nothing special but will be a good added snack. Overall it was a nice comfort food, I will definitely go back on my next trip.

Ordered: Babi goreng sambal matah (4/5) - sambal matah is not as spicy as I thought it would be, tasted just ok (I have tasted better sambal matah) Sate babi bumbu plecing (4/5) - saus plecing tastes nice, fresh, but isnt very suitable with pork Sate babi bumbu manis (5/5) - the sweetness level is so so, which is nice

I recently visited Sate Mak Lukluk, located in the heart of Denpasar, across from Plaza Renon. I tried the Sate Samcan Manis and Sate Babi Plecing. **Sate Samcan Manis**: The pork belly satay was incredibly tender but a bit too sweet for my taste. It's perfect if you prefer sweeter dishes. **Sate Babi Plecing**: This dish was enjoyable with the plecing sauce being pleasantly mild. The flavors were well-balanced, complementing the tender pork nicely. **Location**: Conveniently located across Plaza Renon, making it easily accessible. **Value for Money**: I would rate the pricing at 3.5 out of 5. The dishes are reasonably priced considering the quality and location. Overall, Sate Mak Lukluk offers a good dining experience with unique flavors. It's worth trying, especially if you're in the area looking for a hearty meal.

The food was okay. My order sate sumsum sapi plecing, the pieces are big and sauce was hot for me but then I put on soy sauce and the taste become even better. Sapi soup was good for me light and not too salty. Portion of the rice good. Orange as my drink was also good. Generous portion at affordable price. The place is shady but was not clean enough. The service was good and quick. Recommended!

Loveee the sate plecing and matah! The meat is soft and tender, the plecing is not too hot and not too sweet either. The matah is great since they're using coconut oil! The service is fast and clean.

We were passing by with my husband and stopped in for dinner. The atmosphere is cozy, lots of greenery, beautiful decor, it was very pleasant to eat. The food was amazingly delicious! It's wow! The salad and main course was incredible. Was going to give it 5 stars, was very satisfied. Until the waitress brought us the bill. My husband asked the waitress: is service included in the bill or not? She says no. Husband looked at the bill and asks her, what does “biaya pelayanan” mean? Because he saw the amount billed next to that name. The waitress didn't answer anything, just ignored it and it was obvious on her face that we had put her in a dead end. Later, when we looked through a translator to see what it meant, it turned out to be a service charge) it was unpleasant, although up to that point we liked everything very much.

Large garden and good flavors. It was quiet when we arrived. So I was concerned that ingredients or taste would be lacking. The crispy pork belly turns out to be not available. Yet for the food that is available, taste is solid. Service can be a bit slow. Parking is abundant on site. Toilets are ok.

Instagram @lalisa_doniho - They have many kinds of dishes and drinks. When I went there, they are having promo 15K for the coffee and 30K for coffee + croissant/danish. Tried the Udang Cabai Garam and Double Expresso. Overall quite satisfied with the quality. The shrimp cooked nicely with enough seasonings and taste. The sunny-side up cooked nicely also and not overcooked. They have a bar, indoor-outdoor area, Wi-Fi, AC and a few places to charge. In the outdoor area, you can find a see-saw, a few car toys, kid's playground, and swings.

Very well design! Love its ambience, its hard to believe theres a very nice restaurant inside if you looking it from the outside street. Also its a bit hard to find this place at night because theres no light box/sign. Picture says them all. Staff were friendly, their coffee was good with reasonable price. Only have the chance to try their coffee and baked fries, that was yummy! Will come back to try another menu for sure!

Pathetic and sad food. Calamari comes in 5 pieces with a HUGE plate. Bland pasta. Chicken parmigiana is spicy hot with waaaay too many paprika powder, same goes with the fries. The waitress didn't even inform this to us knowing that I specially order this for my little daughter. It's inedible for my daughter. I only take a pic of the calamari because it looks so sad and pathetic. Just look at it.

Genuinely lovely staff, and not complacent despite low traffic (compared to most places I’ve been to). The place is usually quiet, good for work. Staff aren’t wearing masks, but I think because nowadays the local banjars advise them not to (I might be wrong - don’t take my words for it). Simple menu with daily promotion.

Historical Chinese Restaurant in Denpasar. One of the oldest restaurant in Denpasar that is still open from the 60s. Their menu and taste is believed to be the same as the old days with old style cooking. Their noodles and fried rice have that "wok hei" or the smoke flavour from the wok stir frying technique. The interior is very old and might need a little bit of uplift and renovation. With the newly planned Badung market and the riverside seating area, this restaurant can be a good selling point to the area.

Restaurant
Sate Plecing Arjuna is a popular eatery in Denpasar, owned by a Chinese-Balinese family. The place has a classic kopitiam vibe with live music adding to the ambiance. Their specialty includes bone-marrow sate and sate plecing, which is a North Bali delicacy featuring rich and flavorful sambal.
Nice satay and meatball. The pig satay is soft and the spice is good. But the cow satay little bit hard and chewy. The meatball is good. The satay is not to hot for me. Its enough.
Banuaji P — Google review
Nice quaint place but satay was ok to me! satay in bali is pretty small and the sauce is very watery- so I guess it’s a personal preference for me, other people might like it!
The S — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sate Plecing Arjuna Not Balinese — but solid, no-nonsense beef soup done right. The broth is light but flavorful, the rice comes just right, and the sambal? Sharp, clean, and not for the weak. Add lime and it’s instantly lifted. The kind of place where the owner remembers your order — and that alone says a lot. Simple place. Real food. Quiet confidence. No need to dress it up — it delivers exactly what it says.
Gabriella C — Google review
Great place with delicious food! If you’re a fan of spicy dishes, the sate plecing is a must-try. one portion comes with 10 skewers. For those who prefer a milder taste, they also offer a sweet version that’s just as tasty. They also serve soto bakso (beef meatball soup), with tender, flavourful meat. They're always busy, but the turnover is quick, so you won't be waiting long.
Samuel G — Google review
The place was clean and nicely airconed, sate babi plecing campur size was kinda small but portion is enough and meat was soft juicy. The soup was also great!

I wanted to try sate plencing Arjuna for so long, and didn't have a chance since too crowded. I had the chance today and no wait. I have to say the food was okay, there's nothing special. The satay meat are small. White rice portion is small. The price are different story 😅 I had better than this place.
Sunggimawan T — Google review
Sate Plecing Arjuna is a hidden gem that I recently had the pleasure of discovering. This small eatery specializes in pork satay, and it offers a unique twist with both sweet and chili sauce options. The taste of the pork satay was undeniably delightful, making it a must-try for satay enthusiasts. One of the standout features of Sate Plecing Arjuna is the flavor of their pork satay, which is exceptionally good. The sweet sauce adds a delightful contrast to the smoky and tender pork, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The chili sauce option is equally impressive, delivering a satisfying kick for those who enjoy a bit of heat. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and welcoming, which added to the overall positive dining experience. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel right at home, and it's always a pleasure to encounter such hospitality. However, there are a couple of considerations to keep in mind. The popularity of this establishment means it's often crowded, which could result in a wait for a table. Additionally, finding parking space in the vicinity can be a challenge, so it's advisable to plan accordingly. One potential drawback is that the prices for the dishes are not prominently displayed in the store. This lack of transparency can make it a bit tricky to gauge the cost of your meal upfront. It's a good idea to inquire about prices before ordering to avoid any surprises when the bill arrives. In conclusion, Sate Plecing Arjuna is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious pork satay with a twist. The sweet and chili sauce options elevate the flavors, and the kind staff and owner enhance the dining experience. Just be prepared for potential crowds and parking challenges, and don't hesitate to ask about prices to ensure a seamless visit to this hidden gem.

I have tried their menus since 2001, surprisingly the quality of taste is still the same, even the venue also not much change. The owner lady still there hope she’s always healthy. Every time i come to Bali, this is a must visit eat place. Also they open early like start from 7am even better. 😍 If you are a big eater 1 portion is never enough. The sate i can say quite small (I don’t mind because the taste is superb). I ordered: 2 portions sate 3 portions bakwan (meatballs with broth) 2 portions steamed rice 2 glasses es jeruk (mandarin squash with ice) 1 glass sweet ice tea Total Rp. 234.300,-

Wow! Wow! 🤩 How awesome is this place. If you want to step into another element I strongly suggest coming here. I had a sense that I was surrounded by my people when I came here for lunch. It was a bit of a hike and totally worth it. I almost don’t want to write about how amazing my experience was because it’s a place that I’d prefer to keep to myself so that I can come back and escape everything. It’s amazing how being surrounded by an aesthetic like this can take one to some place that’s simple and peaceful. You probably want to know about the food. Well when I arrived I was so impressed I thought that there was no way that the food would be able to stand up to the full delivery of a beautiful place. I got a bit cocky and ordered a few items. Lychee Soda, chicken spring rolls, and the steak with potatoes. I didn’t get my waitresses name but she was perfect. The lychee soda delivered on taste and presentation. The spring rolls had a perfect crunch and crisp to them, I wanted 3 more orders. 🫠 The steak was everything that my body needed in protein. Giving me that sense of comfort food I didn’t know I needed at the time. It seems as if a few people like to come in and hang around so that they can take the quick insta pic or video but not many. I’d say this place is so much more than an insta spot. With reasonable prices and a connection to having a chill local restaurant experience it’s everything I want in a food destination where I can just be with myself. I’ll be back soon! Quick suggestion: The upstairs dining area is where the immersive experience is! Thank me later. 😉

I attracted to come here when I saw the 2D concept in this cafe. The cafe has parking area in front of the cafe but sharing a spacious parking area with Freshindo. The ambience is unique. Small little Warung in Sanur. Beautiful gardens. Pizza was great. 550kIDR for 3 people including drinks. The area is a little dark if walking you can easily get a Grab taxi if a problem.

What a little gem! 5 minute walk off a busy road. We had 2 Pizzas that were delicious and made from all fresh ingredients. The restaurant is set in a little tropical oasis with fish ponds. Make sure you have a walk around the garden. I recommend this restaurant.

Last thursday I weaved my way around Jln Bumi Ayu to the corner of Jln Pungutan to visit my favourite local Warung Papa Pizza. I was greeted with open arms and a big “welcome back Mama”. The ambience and the peace in their home is amazing and the menu is abundant with Pizza, Pasta and Indonesian cuisine. I ordered BBQ chicken Pizza, it was delicious, the BBQ sauce they make themselves and it is soo tasty it is one of the best pizzas I have had. The crust is delicious, I normally leave the crust but here I eat every last bit. The Bintang was chilled to perfection and for desert I had Pisang Goreng. Which finished off my meal perfectly.

We ate here yesterday and the balinese signature pizza they serve is fantastic! It’s a cozy restaurant with multiple seating spots. The staff made us feel really welcome and gave extra information about the food and desserts. Their English is also good.
Max R — Google review
Pizza was better than some of the other local places, be sure to ask for crispy, toppings are a bit light on, prices are a little high for the amount of toppings that are applied to the pizza. Garden area which you sit in has different levels and areas which are quite. Beer prices are the highest we have paid for a warung. The warung is located off the main road so there is minimal traffic.

First went 7 years ago. Came back today. Can confirm they still make amazing pizza and have the same great service i remember.

4 pizzas & 4 drinks for £17!!?? I normally eat more traditional local dishes but on this occasion after a long day of travelling we craved a pizza. It’s not often I demolish a whole, large pizza but I did last night! And not because they are small, they aren’t. Just very tasty and light , thin crust. Worth seeking out as location is discreet but worth it, the staff are so very friendly and appreciate your custom so much.

Located on Jalan Danau Poso, Warung Blanjong is a popular eatery in Bali offering a mix of Indonesian and European cuisine. The restaurant provides a more upscale dining experience compared to other local warungs, with bright lighting and air conditioning for comfort. The menu features a variety of traditional Balinese dishes like siap betutu and pepes be pasih, as well as modern options. Visitors can expect delicious food served by friendly and efficient staff at reasonable prices.
The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The drinks were served fast. The restaurant was spotless and very modern with a large selection of traditional Balinese and “ western” dishes. I ordered mi goreng and Tempe and they were both excellent, I would give both 5 stars, since I am quite picky about mi goreng. I ordered crepe with palm auger and coconut. This one was around 4 stars only. Because it was so hot, the waitress brought me the personal handheld fans, so cute. I would definitely come back to try out other dishes here.
Henriette R — Google review
Warung Blanjong has a cosy modern wooden style that feels warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is tasty: the steak and pasta were good. Drinks include long drinks, aperitifs, and beers, though wine options are limited. The place is clean. Parking can be tricky since it’s on a street near Sanur Beach. Prices are reasonable -but on a middle high end- for a tourist area like Sanur.
Raymond V — Google review
Lovely establishment that has a classic atmosphere of infusing Indonesian and western cultural influences. Great selections on the menu that can appeal to nearly anyone and we came here for vegetarian options. The staff are prompt and cordial. The food came out really fast and it was delicious. The pricing of our Indonesian dishes were overpriced for the offering in comparison too many other establishments.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Bali! Every single visit, the food has been consistently delicious. The chicken satay is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the Nasi Campur is extraordinary — I loved it so much I ordered it three times during my stay. Their green juice is also super fresh and tasty, a perfect match with the meals. Highly, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and great vibes!

The food is very delicious 😋 staff is very friendly. The place is very clean and hygiene maintain very well. I love the owner. She’s fantastic.❤️ very friendly ❤️

One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Bali. The Nasi Campur was outstanding, packed with flavor, and the barracuda fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. I also kept ordering their green juice — refreshing and delicious every time. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing food and great quality.

Came here for dinner on our last night in Sanur and bummed we didn’t come sooner. Dinner was fantastic. Incredibly fresh and beautiful flavours. Had the nasi goreng, baked barramundi, cap cay and spring rolls. Definitely add to your ‘must visit’ list. And so cheap….all these dishes plus two soft drinks 330,000 rupiah.

Warung Beringin Panti's may not be the most visually appealing place, but its food is bursting with flavor. The Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng are highly recommended, with generous portions of vegetables and chicken. It's a popular spot, so timing is crucial to secure a table. Despite its unassuming appearance, this local eatery offers delicious and affordable dishes like dry fried noodles and fruit juices made from fresh produce.
I went twice to this place and I was very happy to find this warung with delicious local food. The food is cooked fresh, the fruit drinks are from real fresh fruits and the prices are excellent. This isn't a tourist trap.

What this place lacks in looks it makes up in the flavour of it's food . Have been meaning to come here for years and tonite it was just the place for dinner . Timing is the key in getting a table as it gets busy ongoing. Went for the Mie Goreng , Nasi Goreng and the Ayam Sate. My Mie Goreng was outstanding , plenty of veges and chicken mixed in , it was one of the best I've had , my wife was the same with her Nasi Goreng. Ayam Sate was 10 sticks of goodness with the true sate sauce drizzled over the top with a bowl of steamed rice. We had 2 soft drinks , there was no tax , the you g girls that served us were very friendly and it only cost 110k... outstanding.

Good corner location (view of busy street) with solid wooden furniture. The staff are pleasant but can be overwhelmed when the Warung gets busy. Good quality food for reasonable prices. I enjoyed my dry fried noodles and watermelon juice and will return to try other (limited) menu options.

Small local warung with local and fair prices. The food was good and the smoothies too. We had nasi goreng ayam and a smoothie per person. The serving woman was very friendly, smiley and was the incubator for the whole atmosphere of this place. Thank you for this refreshing experience!

Had nasi goreng and mie goreng all around Bali , but none compared to the taste as this. This place is truly a hidden gem yall. It was not fancy just simple delicious food. This was a quick recommendation nearby by Google but so worth it.

Kober Mie Setan is a must-visit for those who crave an exhilarating spicy noodle experience. Known for its incredibly affordable prices, this bustling eatery serves up noodles that pack a serious punch, even at the mildest spice level. While the atmosphere can be quite chaotic and crowded, with long wait times and limited drink options to cool down your palate, many patrons still choose to dine in for the authentic experience.
Good food good price, recommended for spicy lover,
Deas P — Google review
What I can said, it was spicy even with only few chili. Place is big and price is cheep. In addition, other than spicy noodle they also sold some type of dim sum and few drinks. The taste was not bad but nothing special except for the level of spiciness. But worth it to try.
Witness T — Google review
Beside their annoying waitress which is a bit lack of manners, their noodles were not bad. They offer you with only one main menu with spicy leveling and some side dishes and quite inexpensive.
Kurniawan P — Google review
Here you find all levels of spicy noodles... There are two types : "mie setan" and "mie iblis". Both taste are good. The dim sum on the other hand is not recommended.
Aldo M — Google review
Sorry, but i never ever make bad review for a meals before, but this is just horrible, it only taste spicy with nothing else, the noodle doesn't even had any seasoning perhaps? I waited too long for my other side dishes, and they left them out in the first floor, while they deliver other ppl meals to their table, waiting for my gf to pick it up ourself, while i already told them i was upstairs. Well it is true, what can you expect with those prices? But please you had other competitors than serve better than this in the range of your prices also.
Paulus K — Google review
Food was okay. All i can say i like gacoan more. But anyway the menu get more variation than gacoan. I dont like when the waiters call and shouting your name to find you.
Adi S — Google review
this place the most populer place to eat noodle, spicy but delicious
Yoris S — Google review
Super cheap spicy noodles. Great taste, super spicy even the lowest level is super spicy. ALWAYS CROWDED and a bit long waiting time. You better bring the food home rather than eating at the restaurant as it is super hot, hot, no air circulation, small selection of drink (this is important as the noodles is spicy as hell), and super noisy. But if you want to taste the real mie kober then go ahead, order your food and eat inside. Good luck!
