This family owned restaurant running since 1950's it,s an amazing culinary experience! Staff is SUPER friendly, prices are very good and portions are really satisfying. The food was super tasty! We had pizzocheri and after that we had some deserts - all absolutely delicious. We,re coming back to this restaurant for our final dinner her in Italy. Make sure you book in advance as due to its great service, it gets packed very fast. Only compliments for this restaurant

Orestino is a must visit when you are in Lecco. Very delicious food and very reasonable prices. Huge wine selection and great atmosphere on the lake. The owner Oreste is very friendly and nice. Everything was fresh day to day. It is the restaurant to be in Lecco. The dessert was delicious. The Tiramisu is a must.

A nice Italian restaurant with several decades of history. The atmosphere was nice, we sat by the window overlooking the lake, I was truly surprised by how full the place was in a cold (non-touristy) season. The food was however slightly disappointing, it looked good, but lacked flavor. I ordered two vegetarian dishes, my partner had some torta salata and a panzerotti, that were good value for the money but overall nothing outstanding. From what people around us ordered, I concluded the place is rather famous for its meat dishes selection. Would probably not come again and recommend to avoid vegetarian dishes.

Better with reservation if the terrace not open at colder evenings or out of high season time. Otherwise is not so very nice the inside without the view to the lake. Nice location for a drink but unfortunately food wasn't as good as described in these reviews since overpriced... A peace of fish for 20€ with nothing but herbs.. Side dish extra was 5€ on the menu but they charged us 9€ :-(, ... The worst risotto I've ever had, bad served... fish was fresh though but half of it full taste the other half no taste at all... White wine and bread wine very good though ... But other than that not enjoyable... . Side dish extra for each plate :-( Panna cotta is very good with chocolate, extremely sweet with caramel (too much caramel).... Resuming: 70€ for one glass of wine and a bad dinner, a table on the corner, and a glass of good white wine and good pieces of bread... Your choice!... Maybe all reviewers were lucky... Not coming back, not even for a drink... There are more beautiful terraces all around Como lake 😜 Next evening we spent same amount of money for three course menu, awesome terrasse underneath the olive trees, full view of the lake and Bellagio.. Look for options and invest your money for one of the best things Italian has to share, good kitchen!

Good peaceful location… that’s all that could be said on the positive side… We bumped into the place and, therefore spontaneously, stepped in without reservation. Although more than half of the tables weren’t occupied, the staff had a huge problem to place us (2 people). Shocked because of the guests??? Table not properly clean with crumbs and leftovers (from previous visitors?), napkins dirty and greasy. Not even one soul of the young staff spoke English, so we had to translate the menu card with the help of our electronic devices. Questions about the menu options caused anxiety and total confusion with young unexperienced service people. Three staff members were slowly cruising around, more pretending to be busy as being busy indeed. Not even looking at the customers, completely avoiding eye contact. To get their attention, you had to almost get up and go fetch them by hand. Drinks: because nobody could decently explain anything about the beers, we decided to go for wine. Wrong choice. The white wine was extremely watery, no taste at all. They simply overdid it with diluting. Food vegetarian: lasagna… so we thought… on the plate it was a piece of something of grey color. Most probably, used and reused, cooled and warmed up again and again. The worst lasagna ever seen (was left untouched). After 15 minutes, came pizza… dough with a touch of tomato water and melted cheese over it. Huge disappointment… We know Italian cuisine differently. The waitress was told the food was really bad, she smiled in return… No point to mention the communication problem again. To wrap it up: untrained staff, disaster service, awful food. Price / quality rating is not available, as there was the price but no quality.

I do not recommend the place. The fish was frozen (saw them sending it to the kitchen for cooking), the beer is german (not bad, but not local), and they messed up our entire order. I got the french fries first, my main dish 1 hour later, and they totally forgot about the appetizer.

For big group of people I do not recomend. The service was unorganized. For some of us the main course arrived before apertisers. 3-4 people waited their meal almost 1.5hours. Some ones didnt recive the food. The rest was already finish. The personel was polite.

We have been there with a group of 15 people and we didn't receive our main fish dishes for almost 1,5 hours. They served the first dishes after the main dishes.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! You order a big beer (0,5l) you get small and big bill. Additionally we were ensured that this is big beer as they don’t have other glasses for. Simply better to skip that place than argue especially barely anyone spoke English at our time of our visit. We’re EXTREMELY disappointed!

I liked everything about this place. The atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. Each dish was prepared and presented with care. It is a small restaurant so you may have to reserve a table.

The waiter wasn't very friendly, coperto at 4€, bruschetta were so so and the wine by the glass was very expensive (and not mentioned). It was 10€ per glass.. in Italy! I don't even pay that price in belgium which is not a "wine country". Otherwise the wine was good but it was a bad surprise when paying the bill.

Wow! An amazing focused menu. Wonderful ambience and service. Grand slam home run wine list with great value. What more could you want? I had pizza with strachietella and raw shrimp, vongole and a dynamite barbera d’ALBA ($9 a glass). Blown away! Thank you.

One of the worst Italian meals ever! Not only the quantity but the quality of the dishes was extremely disappointing! We left the restaurant hungry and unsatisfied! Additionally the service was super awkward! We paid 4€ coperto each for DRY bread and awfully bland grissini!

Or at least for the pizzas They have an OK size and really good taste - but in my opinion and taste, they go a bit too much the extra mile and make it "too weird or different". Like adding melone to a pizza... However they were super nice about taking it out, and they were tasty All in all, and this is my personal opinion, I would prefer a less fancy place with more options of pizza (and more normal ingredients)

Wonderful food and service. The restaurant has a fascinating back story. The building used to be owned by the mob where they ran a pole dancing club here to launder money. There was even a concrete bunker downstairs for the boss to take cover. Today the restaurant is a non-profit project dedicated to social responsibility and great food while the mobsters are still serving time in jail.

Went there with my family and the risotto my mom ordered was really tasty. I wasn’t hungry at the time so I only got an appetiser which was good too but I would take something else if i went again. The service was good, considering that when we went it wasn’t crowded at all, and the waitresses were really nice. There were vegan/vegetarian options and some kind parking spots in front of the entrance. Overall, I’d go again and I’d bring some friends or relatives with me there.

The place is nicely decorated with and has an original concept. Two books on the wall were too large compared to the others though. The choice in pizzas is limited but I don't think that is a major problem. The pizza we had was slightly under done, which was kind of a shame. It did taste very good though. The choice in beer is also very limited. Service was oke.

We are a young couple and had an excellent experience! I am GF and veggie and it can be hard to find places with nice and not the usual veggie burger food, but Fiore is very inclusive and had more than one option I could have! Everyone was super friendly, we were served by Guissela who made sure that we were having a great experience all the way through - thank you (Gracias!) ! Definitely a place to go if you want quality food and friendly service!

Very nice atmosphere. Right on the river. Service was not the best, but decent. Pizza was very good (a bit too much sauce, but a very good sauce, so not all bad). Pasta pescatora was average, but again, with quality ingredients, just lacking attention to details, like serving with 2 unopened clams. Prices as mentioned by others are a bit higher. Would revisit to try other food.

We stayed in Lecco for 4 nights and we ate in this restaurant 4 times! We loved their fisherman’s spaghettoni and the fish plate. We also enjoyed the mixed tapas platter. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. All of the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. The waiting time was not bad at all. Prices are reasonable. We recommend it!

How this restaurant has a 4.1 is a travesty. This is the best food I’ve eaten in Italian. If you have the chance to eat here you will not be disappointed. And if you are that’s on you.

This is truly a hidden gem in Lecco. We found it by accident but it was so good that we went in there two nights in a row. One of the most flavourful dishes we have had in Italy. Everything was spectacular and that’s an absolute must in Lecco. The service was also great! Will come to Lecco just for that restaurant!

And they delivered 100% 😍 The food was super fresh and delicious and the ambiance is exactly what you need when ever other place is crowded and directly at the street. Wasn't in love with all food, especially the tartare that didn't have the expected taste, but the staff noticed that - higher points to service (even though one waitress made a remark "well, maybe because it's raw", when I commented on the tartare not being good). Prawns and tuna were ok. Cute courtyard, would be great to sit there longer.

The best meal we had in Lecco!!! The shrimp and avocado salad was light and a perfect starter, followed by the ricotta, ravioli in sage butter, and topped with the most luscious cheesecake. I shouldn’t have agreed to split the cheesecake… we will never forget our wonderful dinner with you!!!

Beautiful spot that sadly prejudiced against solo travellers. Likely thinking they get more money from couples and groups. However the night they turned me away for being on my own I went on to spend more than an average couple elsewhere. The server was not kind or gentle about dismissing me either which was entirely unnecessary. My suggestion: have a minimum table spend for busy nights and allow solo travellers who are after treating themselves to dine with you rather than rudely turning them away. A real shame as the menu and location seemed to be excellent.

I got uncooked pork ! I asked for 5 people table. 2 decided to leave rapidly without order. Then the waiters without saying a word, while we were talking, came and removed a table!!! Really not polite for a rather expensive place. You can not drink a glass of good wine, only a bottle. Only house wine by glass.

This is a lovely restaurant with an outside space tucked away behind an unassuming front gate. The food was delicious and the combinations were very unique, the portions were generous and the price was competitive. The best thing about the whole experience though was the service - the lady was very welcoming and friendly - and made our evening with great attention to detail. The only downside was the noise from the traffic on the main road - but nothing they can do about that! Would highly recommend a visit if you like seafood!

We went there for a fabulous dinner with the kids and we're amazed at the portions and quality of the food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highlights are the grilled squid and the Venus rice with raspberries.

We went for lunch and we were not disappointed. It was SO good. We had two fish tartares as starters, among the best raw fish I've ever tasted, with amazing seasoning. We then shared a polpo (picture). Service was great. Just know that it may appear closed from the outside but it's not, and you have to enter and go upstairs.

However, the medium-rare steak was disappointing, with excessive membrane and barely warm. The risotto was flavorful but marred by too much cream and a lukewarm temperature. As a kind gesture, the wine was complimentary. While the experience had highlights, the food’s execution fell short of expectations.

The entrance, atmosphere, and interior are absolutely fantastic. A stunning open kitchen and seating available on two different floors. The staff is friendly, even towards tourists! I would say the food is fairly priced in relation to the overall European standard. Üsteria definitely has the wow factor, with down-to-earth servers who willingly engage in friendly banter and offer you great suggestions. The decor is so pristine, and the food is sublime. The tartar was exquisite and the local buckwheat pasta dish was quite an introduction to the local cuisine. I couldn’t get enough of the complementary bread, high-quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar - they do not skimp on even these! We were ecstatic being here, what a happy place!

The ravioli were delicious and the pizza crudo as well. The pizza was a bit unusual as there was not tomato sauce, but it was definitely one of the best pizzas I had. The tiramisu was also unusual, it felt more like a creamy pana cotta, but it was also excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, even if it’s a bit pricey.

Wow! The food is crazy tasty!! We had 5 dishes and all of them were great. The Salmon tartar was my favorite, and the proshuto pizza was awesome as well. The place has a very beautiful and modern design. The light makes a very special atmosphere. It can get quite busy around 20:00, worth ordering a table. The cocktails aren't great - even though they look great. Better to have wine.

We booked online on the same day, (a late booking). Very pleasant atmosphere, some gluten free dishes. Staff spoke good English. Only problem was we were not informed that the Risotto dish would take at least 25 minutes until we asked. It actually took longer.

The sommelier has an incredible knowledge of each bottle they own and it's a pleasure to listen to his descriptions and recommendations. After a long trip, we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try with no expectations. The food was decent overall. The pizzas were enjoyable and nicely prepared, which we appreciated. However, I was surprised to receive my seafood pasta in foil wrap. it’s not the healthiest choice. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a decent experience, though there’s room for improvement.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a former employee. The service was really friendly. I can compliment the food with white pizza with mortadella and burrata. The fish and rice dish was really hearty. The fish was really good. My friends' pasta dishes were ok, but the carbonara was poorly done as the fat had separated from it and the vongole pasta was dry. The pasta with seafood tasted good. Plus for the friendly customer service and I can recommend the pizza!

I made a reservation for a birthday dinner for 2 people, one person being vegetarian and me having a ton of food allergies, which meant that the menu would have been a challenge since the food had to be basically vegan with no nuts. I was positively surprised, all dishes were amazing with seasonal ingredients. The waiters and generally the people working at the reception were fantastic and all communication, especially when making the reservation and explaining my food allergies went smoothly. The ambiance was warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed dinner and had a wonderful evening. Long story short, I'd come back any time and would consider some weekend trips to Lecco just to eat at Porticciolo again :)

The pizzas and calzone didn't look very tasty but they really WERE. I truly recommend calzone romana, the combination of tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta and egg turned out to be perfect. A very nice spot to quickly eat something warm and tasty for not a big price. ⚠Warning: all tables inside were occupied in a Saturday evening.

The pizza here was delicious , and for a great price - we got 2 pizzas for 11 euros which is excellent in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did have an English menu and one of the staff spoke English. I would definitely recommend! Great choice.

The food here is good but DO NOY BUY SOFT DRINKS FROM HERE. These guys are running some sort of scam where if you ask for a coke bottle they give you a knockoff instead (see the picture). They also conveniently display the bottles in a way that you can’t properly see it at first. They charge like 3.5 EUR for this fake shit. Was very disappointed about this considering that their food is good.

Staff arent great and neither is food. It's location is it's real benefit, without any competition nearby its sometimes the only option to grab some fast food.

I hardly ever leave negative reviews as I know how challenging running a food business is, however this is an exception as the way I was treated is unacceptable. This place was recommended to me on one of the foodies group and I wanted to try it out while visiting Lecco - so a very conscious choice. I needed to order one pizza as my partner got a terrible food poisoning a day before so he couldn’t eat at all. Even though the pizzeria was almost empty (we came as soon as it opened) I had to take the pizza for take away and leave the restaurant! If you come here from far away and want to share your pizza with others, watch out - you will be rudely banished.

The pizza is really good. Only four out of five stars because of disposable plastic cutlery and even the beer is being served in a plastic cup. Also the pizzas are always served on paper plates, even when dining in house. This produces avoidable waste.
