Absolute Gem 💎 of a place. Homemade Nachos were amazing! We had the nachos, hummus to start and then foot long burrito with the mushroom burger (so tasty) .. couldn’t eat it all! Portions were very generous. Food was outstanding, staff were attentive and very friendly Would definitely recommend.. we will go back when we are next in the area

Great vegetarian/ vegan restaurant. Absolutely lovely inside as well as its location in Bangor. Since I arrived a few months ago I always wanted to go in there and finally made it. We took "the cosy firewood" and "Buddha something" as mains and had two glasses of wine with it. Absolutely delicious taste and very filling. The mashed potato and onion gravy were spot on. Cannot wait to be back! Service was very friendly and attentive.

Food was pretty good - not vegan myself, but loved the wide selection of food and non meat options. As a meat eater, the food tasted pretty good.. loved the cauliflower wings! Staff were really friendly. Service was a little slow, but laid back and not rushed so was also quite nice. This place is probably a haven if you are vegan!

Accidentally ended up at the restaurant and sort of like it. I'm not a vegan, but we still decided to try it. The service was great and everyone courteous. Good was good of your vegan, or practice vegetarian diet style. We ordered cauliflower wings - they're on the sweet sauce and could definitely use some extra spice, and tried their onion rings for starters. The onion rings were delicious a little too only oily for my appetite. For main courses, we ordered the badda boom burger and flat salad. Again, the food was on the sweeter side, so we had to ask for hot sauce. For dessert we tried their chocolate brownie with ice cream with oat milk cappuccino - dessert was delicious and you should try it.

Yum yum YUM!! Great to find this wonderful vegan restaurant in North Wales!! Fantastic food—big portions for mains left us stuffed after having an appetiser each. Took home leftovers & just finished them for breakfast!! Totally recommend!!

Relaxed ambience (felt like I was on a holiday abroad), great choices, portion and great quality vegan food! Personal preference is to be a little less salty for the tofu dish but still amazing! V calamari - tastes the same or better without hurting anyone!! Service was warm and fantastic - especially the helpful lady in making sure we had enough food. Environmentally friend use of atraw and takeaway box. Looking forward to visiting again!

Both service and food were absolutely incredible. We've not had vegan food like here before, it was absolutely divine and can tell why it has such a good reputation. We tried a burger and the beast platter so we could try as much off the menu as possible and we're gutted we weren't around for longer to come back. We can't wait to come back to Bangor.... Probably just to come back here! Thank you for hosting one of the best meals we've ever had!

How wonderful was it to discover this place having been told by a lovely and funny local lady in the car park that there was nowhere worth visiting. (She had a white car with purple trims if you know her...tell her about this place please). We got chatting with the manager and loved the stories he told us about the owner and how he creates these wonderful dishes and the decor on the alleyway approaching the taproom and unisex toilets (very quirky). I delighted in a Bibimbap with chicken whilst hubby had a burger and some potatoes that were on the specials board. We both relished each dish with much delight. Not enthralled with Bangor itself but would certainly go back just to eat here again. Highly recommended.

A hidden little gem, took us a minute to find it tucked away on main high street. Very friendly staff, extremely welcoming. There is this Brazilian / Jamaican theme going on and food seems to be inspired with this in mind too. Any restaurant you go to where you can see them cooking your food from fresh only gives you confidence that you will get something worth the wait. Extremely tasty food! Full of flavour, really really very good.

I’ve eaten and drank here a number of times over the past couple of years. Each time I’ve visited the staff have been excellent, the coffee is outstanding and the choice and quality of the food is exceptional. Much of the menu is made in house, even their breads, beans and ketchup ! There is consistent an excellent line of high quality beers on tap (you won’t find any carling or madri nonsense here!!) and a well stocked fridge with cans and bottles from many different breweries. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

The BEST lunch spot 👏🏼 super comfy and vibey with lovely staff. One of the tastiest salad bowls I’ve ever had - my partner’s soup and toastie was also delish. Highly recommend!

Fresh quality cooked food with lovely dressings and marinades to add a delicious taste. A quirky, relaxed dining experience. Staff very welcoming and hospitable. A great in centre of Bangor. Coffees are delicious as well as their hot chocolates for the kids! Well worth a visit. We took our children and dog as we were able to sit downstairs. Chicken pitta, Korean chicken burger and chicken flatbread were our choices and they were very good indeed! Thanks Blue Sky Cafe

Had a lovely 3 course meal. We were seated quickly, and service staff were spot on time taking our food and drink order. Our waitress was very pleasant, perhaps a little stressed albeit it was a busy evening! Wait for the food wasn't very long and portion sizes were generous, plenty of options and a varied drinks menu. The deserts were delicious, and the evening as a whole was reasonably priced. You'll enjoy your meal here, thank you to the Front of House and Kitchen Staff for their efforts. Just be sure to book a reservation ahead of time, seems like a busy restaurant.

Family run business, always great food, great service and a welcome from the owners. The restaurant is lovely, food is all good quality and made with great fresh ingredients. Always a nice atmosphere there too. Owners and Staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This has been my favourite go to place for many years, I have recommended it to a lot of people and they all agree on how good it is, never disappoints. Take a walk down the long pier after, views are beautiful Make sure you pay the £2 charge for the pier, it's worth it and helps pay for the upkeep of it.

Food was outstanding. Just wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger. We had 3 courses each and were still hungry afterwards. We arrived when the restaurant was still kind of quiet and got put in a corner out of the way and basically felt like we were left. We had to ask for service and we waited so long for everything. We were forgotten about more than once. We liked the restaurant and the food but there definitely needs to be more staff. We were upset with how we were looked after especially since we booked a table so far in advance as well.

I can’t give this enough stars! Me And my partner came here on Friday evening for his birthday! We both had starters, mains and shared a dessert and everything we had was 10/10! Compliments to the chef! Stunning presentation to the food! Plenty to chose from! Wines were fantastic also! The waiting staff were lovely and remembered my drinks order every-time I needed a drink without prompt! We will definitely be returning!

Authentic Italian family owned & run restaurant. Extremely friendly welcoming owner. Wide choice of delicious food. Cheesy garlic slices so delicious - thank you for indulging those of us who like this British twist to Italian! Beautiful location with a view of the historic pier too.

Very enjoyable evening with engaging staff. Chef very knowledgeable and passionate about his food and wine, giving background to each course and advice on the wine to accompany. A gem of a restaurant on the high street.

This was the second time we ate here, and it certainly won’t be the last. As this outstanding restaurant uses seasonal produce we intend on going back later in the year. I have never eaten food like this; in fact it’s more like an explosion of all your senses rather than eating food - a truly extraordinary experience. As this is a fixed menu, where all the diners enjoy the experience together, it’s quite a unique evening. Stephen, the head chef and owner, who clearly has one of the most well defined palate’s along with the knowledge of science behind food and food prep, greets you with an overview of the evening to come. You can see each course being prepped at the pass and Stephen explains the reasons, the ingredients and the process of each course along with the paired wines. His knowledge is extensive and skills are insanely honed! Real nice guy too. It was an absolute joy to be part of such culinary experience within such cool surroundings. The food is the best I’ve tasted anywhere in the world and the journey he takes you on just blows your mind and your senses. Kasabian as the soundtrack was a stroke of genius! Service was consistently attentive and what a cool environment! If you ever eat at one fine dining restaurant in your life, let it be this one.

I should imagine it’s not fine finding if you don’t know what you’re having. I can’t seem to find any menus 👀. If you’re going to charge people £175* for small food samples please include what they are going to be eating so people won’t diss like them. I’m assuming once cooked and not knowing what you’re going to have may result in people not liking it or eating it all. I also assume probably a fact that you wouldn’t give the money/refund back from the booking if people don’t like the food as they can’t see a menu to prepare from 👀 We have found another lovely restaurant that’s cheaper yet offer fantastic food choices. Unfortunately you might have been a hit and good review if there was a menu supported before paying a big deposit/price for the “food” you offer. Without seeing the food it’s a weird mystery and to much at price on the line for not knowing what food you will get. (Your online website is complicated and don’t show a menu) In business simple is sometimes better off.

An absolutely top notch evening. No menu & no particular wine list, just enjoy everything. Just 8 covers when we dined there which makes for an intimate dining experience.

Food extraordinary, but not in a good way. Service attentive. Booked this restaurant because it had received rave reviews, unfortunately, 2 of my guests found it difficult to eat most of the food served. So much so that I decided we couldn’t face any more of these tastings and had to leave the restaurant. We had already paid £294 as a deposit for four and I offered to pay a further £500. The chef (owner) refused this offer and insisted that we pay £1000 in total! I paid this amount under aggressive duress from the chef and his partner. Hugely disappointing.

Fantastic 1 star Michelin restaurant. Extremely attentive service with first class food. Booking essential. A 'hidden' tasting menu where you are told what each course is as you get It. (Ring ahead if you have any intolerances etc) The food is out of this world. Unusual food combinations at times which work so very well. Highly recommended

This was the weirdest experience at a Michelin restaurant I've ever had. I must say that the food itself was phenomenal but everything else was just off. A huge pet peeve of mine is a lack of price transparency. We save hard to be able to afford such experiences and we should be granted with the ability to choose the price of our wine. There was no wine list and no pricing, just a recommendation by the head chef which I think is jarring and pretentious. It's such a tiny restaurant which could be intimate and warm but instead the atmosphere was awkward and quiet. The head chef tried to encourage diners to approach the pass and chat throughout plating but it all feels performative and the diners feel like we're inconveniencing him. I did however enjoy the story he told with each course. Then we move onto the waiter. I keep repeating how awkward the whole experience was. The waiter had no interpersonal skills and no gift of the gab. He repeated the same closed questions to each table of diners and spoke so quietly we had to ask him to repeat himself so many times. If we ate too slowly he would hover. He was not attentive with drinks orders. However he did keep on coming to the table to move around the wine and water glasses on the table, constantly and unnecessarily moving them from where I'd set them down with my right hand over to the left hand side. I felt as if I was getting in his way. After finishing, paying the bill felt rushed and there was no desire to hang about and enjoy a night cap in such a weird atmosphere. Such a shame that the service and atmosphere were so weird as the food was a delight.

Visited Wetherspoons Bangor and had a really bad experience. The service was unprofessional, and the food wasn’t great either. One of our drinks had a fly in it, and when we raised it with the staff, they told us the manager refused to replace it, saying it wasn’t their fault. That response alone shows a total lack of responsibility. They eventually gave us a new drink, but only after we insisted , and even then, we were told that if it happened again, they wouldn’t do anything about it. It didn’t stop there. One of my friends didn’t get her food because they accidentally served it to another table , and shockingly, they just took it back from that table and gave it to us. That’s unacceptable from both a hygiene and a customer service point of view. What’s most frustrating is that no one in charge seemed to take the situation seriously. The manager or whoever was responsible didn’t show any care or effort to fix things properly. Overall, it was a really disappointing visit, and we won’t be coming back. Basic respect and food hygiene were completely lacking.

Decent though pretty generic spoons serving cheap food and cheap beer. You get what you pay for, with nothing exceptional about the place but nothing bad either. The beer garden was a good size and split across a few levels which was good, and the service was friendly and prompt.

This has been my local spoons for a good few years now and it's great, I wouldn't change much about it, however I came here for a warm meal last week with a good friend of mine. I thought I would order something new for a change so I got the ham and cheese panini, food arrived swiftly and I was excited to tuck in to my well deserved meal however... after biting into my panini as you can see in the photo there was little to no ham. Leaving me to eat a baguette with a texture resembling a piece of cardboard with little to no cheese or any flavour other than the bread. I will still come to this spoons just a warning about the ham in the paninis for others. 7/10

The food in spoons can be quite awful, this is suposed to be a cheese and ham penini but as u can see there is hardly any existence of cheese, im tempted to send it back case this garbage cost me 6 bucks, think is last year they had proper cheese on them, so im very disappointed, I have a lot of stuff to say about there poor food but I just cant be arsed, ranging from there fish, to simple noodles to chips, very poor, if it wasent for the great staff I would never go there

Beautiful building and outside space. Service was really good. Food was 'Spoons usual standard (fair to middlin') but would go again. Typically though, the loos are upstairs. I have a knackered knee, took one look at them and decided to wait!

Had the freedom breakfast and both my husband and I had very hard eggs.We didn’t want to complain as the price is so good.

I had a bacon sandwich on the 30th July in the morning it was absolutely disgusting bacon was not cooked properly and there was green stuff on plate and was ill later on. The guy who brought the drinks over was great. Just shame kitchen staff can’t cook the basic thing like bacon very fatty😡

Food was ok, I have been to a couple of lounge's now and you used to get a little pot of maple syrup with the pancakes which you don't now, just a little poured over top. So much better when I can add more myself. What I didn't appreciate is the chef walking through the place with absolutely filthy whites on and a cigarette in his mouth to smoke outside the main door. Surely there is somewhere out the back he can go. This doesn't look professional at all.

A nice pub serving good but slightly more expensive pub food. The food was really tasty, but priced as such, and close to a lot of pubs serving food for far less. Drinks were also pretty expensive, so definitely go elsewhere for those if you don't want food. Service was friendly, but every time they came over it was "we haven't got X, do you mind Y?", not sure what that was about but it happened multiple times. Place itself was nice, with plenty of tables and a pool table too.

Excellent food. Had a weekday 2 dine for £20 offer. 2 starters/sweets, 2 mains and 2 soft drinks for £20. All very well cooked. 2 guys that were running the bar/service were great and welcomed our two dogs with biscuits and chilled water.

Stopped in for refreshment. Ordered lemon raspberry cake and Cowboy chai and flat white. The beverages weren't hot enough for our taste but the flavour and the cake were pleasant enough. Seems popular as there were quite a few customers on a Tuesday afternoon. Felt expensive for what we ordered - £17 for two drinks and two slices of cake.

We had a lovely brunch in Domu after a trip away to Bethesda with friends, stopping off in Bangor before we travelled home. We arrived early and were greeted with a warm welcome. The coffee was extremely good and the food delicious (so good I ate my gorgeous vegetarian pastry before I could take a photo!) I would really recommend Domu, a great vibe and lovely food and drink at a reasonable price!

I love this little coffee shop, I always try to stop here when visiting town. It has become the highlight of my monthly trips to Bangor. The loose leaf breakfast tea is fantastic, the owners enthusiastic and passionate about what they do. The cakes look amazing but I'm only ever hear straight after breakfast. Well worth the stop, would recommend highly.

Best place ever to eat rich and healthy food, you can also find a sweet treat. They have vegan and vegetarian options, handmade food and artesanal coffee and chocolate. Good tastes really good and the staff is incredible polite. Lively for a date, solo date, to go with friends.

If you're in Bangor, you have to check out Domu Cafe! The food is incredible, we had a soup, a toastie, and some of the best garlic bread I've had in a long time. But what really made the experience was the overall vibe. The staff are so friendly. The prices are reasonable, and the place itself has a great atmosphere with cool decorations and good music playing. It's clear a lot of care goes into this place, and it shows. Great restaurant and lovely atmosphere. For drinks we got a white wine, a berry cider and the snowdon beer. We ordered the mushroom pasta and a pizza. The pasta was definitely the highlight but the pizza was also good. The food took a while to come out but we were not bothered by this. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is also dog friendly.

Great pizza, everything is so fresh and tasty. With plentiful toppings, no faults. Only minor issue is my partner ordered gluten free pizza and we only received one pizza cutter whilst I know common sense comes into it (she cuts her pizza first) with potential must allergies and intolerances this could have been unsafe. Apart from that great food, 10/10!!

I ordered two takeaway pizzas, so I didn’t get to try the table service, but I was really impressed by the overall experience. The place itself is beautiful and well-kept, and they offer a fantastic variety of pizzas, including vegetarian options. The dough was soft and light, making the pizzas very easy to digest. I was also pleasantly surprised by the great service – friendly and efficient. Definitely looking forward to trying the restaurant in person next time!

What a gem this pizza place is! Friendly staff and amazing wood fired pizza! Don't miss out on the doughballs...melt in your mouth deliciousness. Wish they were open Monday/Tuesday. We had to wait 3 days to try them. Worth the wait!

Food was nice and good quality, portions were good and pizzas were tasty. I'm not sure if we caught here in a bad day as the service was not where it should be. We waited a while for drinks, and on our second order of drinks one was forgotten and we had to remind the waitress. When starters came there was a bit of a gap between each one arriving, and again we had to ask for the last starter as it had not arrived after about 5 to 10 minutes. The waitress was very polite and friendly, however the lack of attentiveness let the restaurant down a bit.

Outstanding. Food was delicious, service 1st class. Lovely atmosphere. We were staying locally and liked the look of this place for the final night of our break. We were not disappointed. So much so that we've decided to return to this area next year so that we can pay a return visit!

Wow wow WOW, BEST COFFEE IN THE UNIVERSE This isn’t coffee. This is liquid evolution. One sip and I grew a full beard, even though I had just shaved. By the second sip, I suddenly knew how to change a tire, grill a steak, and explain the stock market with extreme confidence but zero accuracy. The taste? Bold enough to slap you, smooth enough to apologize after, and just bitter enough to remind you that love doesn’t always last but coffee does. By the time I finished the cup, my posture improved, my credit score went up, my muscle mass increased and I briefly considered running for prime minister. It made me love my enemies, it brought back my childhood memories I forgot. Forget energy drinks. Forget motivational podcasts. Yugen stands proud, being the only artisan coffee shop in Bangor. The owner has stuck to what he knows best, making excellent coffee. Yugen Coffee House is the only cafe in Bangor that offers New Zealand roasted All Press, multi origin coffee. The owner informed me it’s a more consistent blend than the locally roasted alternatives. Yugen doesn’t craft awesome coffee. There are a selection of contemporary brunch dishes available. All made with bread sourced from a local baker. The owner was down to earth, chatty and happy to talk about coffee, Bangor life and the weather. Top bloke.

We had a treacle tart (shared) and 2 cappuccino's with oat milk (50p) extra. The treacle tart was nice as were the cappuccino's. Great tasting coffee made by someone who cares about what they do. Staff friendly, toilet was clean but could do with some TLC.

We stopped for coffee after a long journey. Came across this place by chance. Ordered a hot chocolate, a latte, and a mocha. Prices were reasonable for what we ordered. Great range if cakes as well. Service was really friendly, and drinks were superb. Will visit again if in the area.

Really nice little café serving well made coffee with a few small bites too. The barista was very friendly and clearly knew his way around a coffee machine. I'm not personally a fan of the beans (Allpress) but you could tell they were being properly used.

Horrendous. Stood at the bar while it’s quiet, bar girls group of friends walk in (blonde with glasses) and she served them all first…. Really bad service, think she needs to learn bar persons etiquette. Popularity does not pay your bills, do your job, serve customers who were there before your friends walked in. Horrendous. Look at the camera in the left hand door on entry at 10:30pm for proof. Been coming here for years, improve your staff, the old staff great, fair, common sense, the new crowd need more time as they do not cut it and do your once great pub justice, such a let down! Was only in Bangor for the weekend and went here twice. Very friendly staff. Beer garden is lovely. The Sunday night pub quiz was a phenomenal atmosphere!

Very antique place with paid parking to the side. Beer is flat or some taps won’t work, the furniture is quite old and the place is in desperate need of some refurbishment. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

£6 is in the low end for a meal, but I still find this a deeply unimpressive burger. No condiments, a few sad vegetables. Patty was decent at least and the service was fine. Still probably won’t eat here again, the fare is just too cheaply made.

Bartender extremely rude and hostile. Stated no ‘aperol spritz’ as they were a “student bar”. Said they didn’t serve food even though it stated on the wall food was served until 11pm. Asked for a Sex on The Beach cocktail but he said he couldn’t make it because they had no peach schnapps. We decided on another cocktail instead. It was vile. In the meantime, we noticed Archers peach schnapps behind the counter (3 bottles). We went to ask if we could change current pitcher for what we originally asked for. Charged us the full amount. No apology or compassion. Made us feel uncomfortable and stupid even though we’d been coming to this bar for multiple years.

Decent drink but was very loud and crowded with slow service

I'm a vegan with a bad allergy to meat and dairy. I was told that the things on the menu were vegan. Sadly I was given a breosh bun and later found out though rashes and illness that they fried the chips with meat and other things together, making it no longer vegan friendly. The service was amazing but the vegan option were very poor.

Bwyd Da (Good Food in English) is a relaxing cafe right in the centre of Bangor. Reasonable prices with very friendly staff. Having recently moved to Bangor it's now become my default cafe. There are a few gluten free options as well and there's a good community involvement. I had their Greek salad which was most impressive.

The vegetarian tasting experience was possibly the best thing ive ever eaten, and very reasonably priced too. I had a wonderful time here and would recommend to anyone and everyone

We came in specifically because we thought the menu looked great online. Turns out they recently changed management and there wasn't a Welsh thing on the menu which was disappointing. That said, we had the soup and it was delicious. One suggestion, as a former server, ditch the giant blocks of wood they have to carry food out on. A bowl of hot soup on a heavy bit of wood looked pretty dangerous as it was sat in front of me.

We must have walked past this so many times ! Today in a desperate search for somewhere decent to eat we popped in. The staff are incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Homemade cakes and scones on the counter is always a good start . We ordered the American breakfast and the house burger whilst my granddaughter (21)months had chicken nuggets. The menu is comprehensive and a pleasant escape from the norm ! Food arrived in a timely fashion and was well presented. It really tasted as good as it looked. Proper homemade chunky chips with the burger and nuggets . The nuggets were also very good and we discovered taste even better dipped in maple syrup. What a gem of a place. We both did a little happy dance ! We shared a scone with jam and clotted cream for pudding. Scone was a little overdone for our taste but that's just down to personal preference. Ambience was also excellent. Highly recommend.

What a surprise! ☺️ Hidden inauspiciously on Bangor High Street is the Miracle Cafe. Friendly welcome and great table service! The breakfasts are huge and perfect and served up to 12.00 noon. The lunches are huge and really tasty. This is a very popular place by people in the know. If you are looking for a proper tasty lunch with some class in Bangor, look no further. Reasonable prices as well. Recommended without reservation! 😀👍

Okay so I’m excited about this café & its concept, maybe a tad biased because it is a Christian establishment & I have never had experienced a café with this concept. The menu was quite exciting it offers a paid physical & free spiritual menu☺️ the staff are personable and the general ambience is nice. I am tempted to give all the details of the menu how would you, dear reader satisfy your curiosity😄? I had breakfast and I think it was good. Depending on choice, I believe it is reasonably priced. In all, I believe I would be visiting again.

What a wonderful experience! First impressions absolutely beautiful, gorgeous, relaxing, rustic feel. Staff are all very welcoming and got us seated straight away. Then my boyfriend spilt a full diet coke all over the table and all the staff were so polite and even had a joke with us about the situation. We ordered and food was piping hot and on the table within 10 minutes. I can’t stress this enough this was some of the best food we have ever eaten! Saying that you would think it would be pricey but I would’ve paid double what I did for the overall experience at the miracle cafe! So sad we were too full for a dessert!

A very laid back cafe with cheerful staff. They have a separate gluten free menu with a good selection of veggie and vegan options on the main menu. My wife had the gluten free American style pancakes, as you can see gluten free does not have to be boring. A taste of heaven in Bangor.

Having eaten here and previously in the van at various events, food is always top.standard, best pizzas around, nice relaxed vibes at the restaurant. I attended a pizza masterclass with rich(owner) and thoroughly enjoyed it, would recommend - from the complete novice to the budding amateur, it was a great insight to the many different intricacies that goes into creating the perfect Neapolitan pizza. Would highly recommend - diolch yn fawr 👍🏼

Amazing! First time here tonight and certainly not our last, everything was perfect.. genuinely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, zucchini fries were perfection and OMG that garlic & herb dip is the BEST. Also the servers were so lovely, super accommodating for our baby and also the guys cooking the pizza were smiley. One of the best food places in north Wales !

Been there twice already. The first time the waitress was very slow and forgot cutlery and water. It didn't feel very organised at all. Pizza was very good though. The gluten free one I had was so tasty. We went back again recently and the service was much better - a different waitress this time. The pizza guy was always super friendly and asked how the pizza was. Highly recommended. For someone who usually doesn't fancy pizza, this is the only pizza place I'd be excited to go again.

Today we took 20 students to Jones' Pizzas. We only gave 30 minutes notice and they were fantastic. The pizzas were fresh, hot and very tasty and there was a fantastic choice. The staff were all amazing and the service was so quick. Thank you all so much.

Went for the first time to get a takeaway from here on Sunday. And it was arguably the best pizza in Bangor possibly wales. Thanks Tyler for the pizza :D service was really good and efficient and was in and out within 15 minutes. Anyone getting bored of dominos please try Jones pizza!

Visited North Wales and found this coffee shop along our travels. Nice layout and the team were friendly, overall good service. Got a few coffee’s everyone did enjoy it. I got an Oat Cortado, definitely hit the right notes. Would recommend to come and visit this place if you’re local or passing by. Nice place to work from too, if you can grab a table. When I visit North Wales again, I’ll be sure to visiting this coffee spot again.

Honestly hard pressed to find a better coffee shop in the area. Downside is it's always busy. Coffee is great, staff are great, food is great and location is great. 5 stars across the board.

Always a pleasure to visit Reuben's Coffee House. The staff are very friendly, and everything is done and served to a high standard. I personally recommend the Bacon, Egg and Cheese bagel from their food selection. The latte art provided is always a bonus. I gave 4/5 for atmosphere simply because the shop is small and space is limited on nice days. This is obviously not the fault of the company however. If you're looking for a small coffee shop to enioy a lovely coffee and maybe a bite to eat, Reuben's is definitely the best in upper Bangor for this. Thanks guys.

We enjoyed our visit to the Holyhead shop, so much we had to visit this one on the way back down south. Again utterly delicious coffee and bagels, with equally lovely service!! Only wish they had a location in South Wales - we'd be there every week!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this visit. I had the spinach and roasted butternut squash tart served with 10 different salad selections. Vegetarian. Sorry no photo of the food but i can tell you it looked and tasted amazing. Love the general feel of the place, Well worth a visit here

A wonderful little café in Bangor, in my opinion the best in the city. A little quirky with various goods for sale, and I believe opening a bookstore on the side. Excellent range of teas and I am told good coffees. Range of home baked cakes and other delicacies to eat. Very relaxing place to rest, meet up, read, etc.

Excellent little cafe offering a brilliant vegetarian lunch and proper coffee too. We enjoyed some very chilled live music in what must be one of the coolest spots in Bangor. Very friendly owner too. Highly recommended!

I really wanted to like it here. The place is cute and cosy and vegan and dog friendly but... - when I asked if our chosen food is spicy I was told that it's not spicy at all - but it was very spicy to us... So if there are any seasonings that might make food spicy it should be known to the customer. Everyone has a different tolerance to spicy food - the lady who was preparing the food was using her bare hand to... Basically keep shepherd's pie, enchilada pie and SALADS (YES SALADS) in place and form them into piles on our plates. We are very anxious about germs etc so that was the final straw that prevented us from eating the whole thing. I'M BEGGING YOU, USE GLOVES! - and finally the food was simply mediocre. It was cold inside and both shepherd's pie and enchilada thing had the same bean/mince mix in them so they were almost the same altogether. Terrible experience for over 33 quid...

Cheesy chips, not good chips cold and looked as if they had been recooked several times cheese not melted . My Tuna sandwich was tasty and plentiful.

Had lunch there today, the noodles were swimming in sticky sauce, so much so they had just become a lump of matter. Ingredients didn't taste fresh from what you could taste of the ingredients having been drenched in sauce. The whole box of noodles was over powered by the salty taste. Service was no existence, the server ignored us entirely as he played right in front of us on his tablet for a good 5 mins without a signal word to acknowledge us.

Tried for the first time today 30/06/2023. And the food was great. Plenty of chicken in with the noodles, very tasty. Three large portions has a meal = chicken dumplings or mini spring rolls and a can each £40.05

Went here on the 16/11/24 with my girlfriend. Ordered 2 medium boxes, my word is there a lot of food. Decent price as well. The inside was a bit loud with all the big gas stoves but wasn't deafening. I liked the bamboo on the walls, would recommend

The food taste burnt and horrible, over priced and I watched someone stand outside over a bin, chain smoking and touching the bin, to then walk into the shop, and go straight into the kitchen, without washing his hands, he then started preparing food WITH HIS BARE HANDS!! Disgusting place 100% never eating there again, be careful you may get sick.

I had great experience. The food was really nice and took care of allergies. I had udon noodles with sweet and sour sauce. This was the first time, so the staff helped me to order.

Ordered tofu sweet and sour but was delivered a chicken sweet and sour. Bare in mind the order was already delayed by about 30 mins. When called the worker states ‘they’re already closed’ yet it was about 5 mins before closing time. He then proceeds to say he can’t hear what we’re saying and abruptly ends the call. When immediately called back he didn’t pick up. Very dodgy and poor customer service! I wont be ordering from here again!

Nice McDonald's, clean and well maintained. Food was hot and arrived quickly. Some items weren't available on the menu due to deliveries. There's outside seating. All bins were emptied regularly.

I really like the food here it is really nice but of course as the usual McDonald's place. Sometimes there is too much salt or too less salt there is no in between so most of the time you ask with no salt and put it on your self. Sometimes they mix up the orders on delivery but except that it's really nice. The service is pretty good. Food comes fast but sometimes it can take ages and they leave your food there on the side for ages. The atmosphere is pretty good sometimes it is busy but most of the place smells of fries

The food was tasty and hot. Obviously not the healthiest of choices, but we were in a rush. The service was fine, and quick. The atmosphere was noisy and basic. Not the place to go if you want to lose weight, have some refinement while dining. We ate in while waiting for the next film time at Cineworld. However, the toilets at McDonald's were spotlessly clean, so well done for that.

Well waiting for your food for long time isn't something new for MacDonald's. Which can be understood because of plenty of order maybe. But even after that sometimes it doesn't come as warm as it should be. The wrap bread felt cold as it was just bought from Asda. Is the quality being compromised because of serving too many order or lack of unskilled employee/management team. Hopefully they will get better soon.

My wife worked for Mc Donald's many years ago before the drive throughs were added.Now the Just eats staff are collecting at the counter the walk in customers are always put at the back of the que.We waited 30 minutes before our small order was brought to us.Im finished with Mc Donald's now as they put the drive through and just eats orders before their walk in customers.

The place has been around for many years. Lovely massive fish and chips served. Some other delicious food at low prices also served. Enjoyed my meal. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I know where to eat, if I'm ever in town. Street parking available near by.

A disappointing experience because of the dreadful cooking technique used for cooking the fish. Double or triple-cooked chips can be a delight, indicating a mastery of cooking technique that results in a perfect crunch. However, applying the same principle to fish proved disastrous. The fish came out of the fridge stiff as a board and appeared to have been precooked or partly cooked before being fried again upon order. This unusual fish cooking method resulted in an overcooked and dry texture for the fish, while the batter became unappealingly soggy and greasy. It's a classic case of good intentions not quite aligning with the delicate nature of seafood preparation. The saving grace was the chips, which were quite nice. However, the star of the show should have been the fish, and in this instance, it faltered. A friendly reminder: what works wonders for potatoes does not necessarily do the same for fish! The essence of a good fried fish lies in the balance of flavors and textures – crisp batter against moist, tender fish. Re-frying disturbs this balance, leading to an inferior culinary experience both in terms of flavour and texture!

Great food and friendly staff! We had a fantastic meal here. Just a headsup, it's a cashonly place, which was a bit of a hassle. Luckily we had some and there's also paid parking right around the corner which is handy :)

There is good place for everyone. The food is good quality and tasty. But if you go the eat there in lunch time, you have to wait your meal for long time.

Disgusting and dissatisfaction is just the word. They're usually fast and feastful, but the other day, when I ordered a "big daddy breakfast" WITHOUT MUSHROOMS, it took over half an hour to cook. Half an hour later, they served me the breakfast WITH MUSHROOMS. I could've been allergic to mushrooms but luckily I'm not, therefore I asked the staff to remove the mushrooms, when a family member who was getting something to drink spotted a member of the staff dropping a sausage on the counter top - god know what filth there is, therefore my family member confronted the member of the staff before he ragged. 10 minutes later, the staff returned with my order, but completely mocked up the order - I had the big breakfast instead. Therefore, my family member took the order to customer services to complain, endings up with a refund and me having a free breakfast that took 40 mind to make. P. S here's a picture of the previous breakfast, which was actually delicious! 5 stars then!

Was travelling during birthday and stopped by for a brunch And it was an absolute delight. They had cake slices, sandwiches and small milkshakes packs The staff was very helpful too I didn't try the hot breakfast but their bakery is really one of the best Stop by for a sandwich, cake and coffee Goos welcoming staff and great value for money

It is in the middle of the city. Very easy to get to. They always have promotion. Very cheap and affordable. Sometime has bad smell and so many people.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m just shocked with the service we received tonight, told my order at the drive through to the speaker, went to the window to pay, and they didn’t have my order, had to tell my order again like three times for them to finally get it, someone had driven away without paying and that order was stuck on the till and that’s why it was confusing for them, which i totally understand and i was very understanding of it, got to the pick up window and again he didn’t have my order, so told them again my order and finally got the order, had to ask for the krushem, so i though ah never mind, mistakes happen! Finally got the food and was missing my main meal burger so had to park up and go in, waited there for like 15 minutes and finally got served, they gave me the burger and apologised, arrived home and food was cold but i thought ah well atleast we are finally eating, after going through most of my chicken pop corn i noticed one green, I don’t know if it was mold or not but it’s not something i want to eat, I’m hoping this place gets better, but I’m not comfortable going again!

The food was cracking. The guy out the back is in charge, the newbie, bless him, messed up a few orders. The tables weren't too clean but the toilet was. The atmosphere was OK coz there was reggae music out front. It's a chicken shop on the High Street - the chicken was good - what more do you want?..

Would give zero stars if I could. Visited just before 9pm, was refused the use of the toilets and was told its closed for the night and we didn’t have to get food from there if we were unhappy about being denied toilet access. Noticed we were denied because they had just cleaned them as the floors were all wet… Also we got drinks in cans instead of pouring in cups because the counters were also cleaned. We still proceeded to get a take away which took 40 minutes after all the attitude initially… Poor service and bad attitude towards customers… denial of service and request made too Would not recommend at all

First time going when it opened was a dodgy start, but I put that down to just having opened and having those teething problems. The burgers were great. Second time I went I thought it would be much better. How wrong I was. As soon as I saw a Manager from the Bangor high Street restaurant I knew the food would be substandard. The fillets in the tower burger were dry and well over done. A minuscule drop of tomato sauce and mayonnaise. To top it off I had to put it all together again as they just threw it in the box. If the KFC bosses even bother to look at these reviews. You guys need better management in this restaurant before it has the same reputation as the high Street.

We visited this KFC whilst on holiday, the young lady who served us was cheerful, helpful and very friendly. The food was possibly the nicest KFC I have had in a long time, everything was clean and sanitized. Even the toilet facility was spotless. I wish I could remember the name of the young lady who served us, sorry.. I hope your managers appreciate you. (pretty young lady with long eyelashes). It's been such a difficult time for everyone in this country, and was refreshing to see KFC were doing their best given the circumstances.

Getting worse every time. This was the third time they got my order wrong. Tonight they forgot the ham and pineapple on a Hawaiian.....so, they threw shredded, fried ham on top, with cold pineapple, and served it. By the time the had realised and tried to remedy it, the pizza was cold. Never again. Been a customer for over 25 yrs. Good by.

I did 2 trial shifts here and there is a lot of questionable stuff here. Firstly, their practices are EXTREMELY unhygienic, they don’t use a pizza docker - they use finger nails! Secondly, the manager is SO MEAN. He was screaming at one of the delivery drivers for getting an order wrong, and he had been insulting me the entire shift. Same with the precious shift. I only came back for my second trial shift because I figured everyone has a bad day, but he is just unkind.

Haven’t been here for years, glad to say the pizzas were still amazing and far better value than Dominoes, will definitely be using here again in future

Well no comment on the burger, I enjoy the Angus steakhouse. The only thing here is that it says that they close at 22:00, but everytime we went by 20:00, we can’t sit as they tell us that it is take out only. First time we went close to 21:00, we couldn’t finish our burgers and were asked to leave. So, to the management, can you please change the closing time to be 9pm instead of 10pm? It is frustrating and misleading to be honest. We expect to sit and enjoy our time but it has been a pain so far. UPDATE: Went back another time at 7:45, more than an hour before closing, and they won’t let me sit again; take out only in the cold and the rain.

Alright. This is a management level issue I'm sure as staff seemed friendly just extremely busy. Arrived into the restaurant at around 3pm and fairly busy went to the till to order as my partner wanted a different sauce on her burger that wasn't available to alter on the kiosk and was told by staff that I needed to order in the kiosk and that they could not physically put our order through, I then asked how do i apply my blue light discount and was ignored and no options to apply it on checking out or through the bluelight app, for reference we've used a different store and they have never had an issue. After this we placed our order and I went to the bathroom, code for the bathroom so couldn't get access I asked the staff member after a few more minutes of waiting and he said the code was on the receipt the whole experience at this point was just frustrating, but oh boy I wish I never got the code as soon as I walked into that bathroom the smell of sour diarrhea was so pungent it made me nauseous. Facilities where also shoddy, one stall was missing a seat not that I dared use them. Did not expect such a bad experience from BK

I only left a review because the self service screen asked. What a joke. No soft drinks available when I visited today. also, you have to go the manned till to order through the app (to use offers) because it won't allow on the touchscreen kiosk but they don't accept the points at the till only on the touchscreen one. You either lose out on rewards or the offer. so why have these services? I started coming here because of similar issues in the other one

Incorrect order twice in a row from Burger king in the Menai shopping centre Bangor. Incorrect burger the first time, someone else's order this time. Can't eat any of the burgers I've received, ketchup on every one of them. I'm FUMING! Not paying for this, better get refunded. Won't order from that Burger king again, go and get it myself from Llandygai Burger king 😤

what has happened to BK....whopper double with cheese so small 3 bites and it was gone patti like rubber...chicken royale was small inbetween two pieses of dry breaded bap.....didnt get anything on it it was awful table was dirty and place was run down £22 for whoper with cheese and piece of leather in bread two med cokes just disgrace

This was our first time here at Poppy Pizza . It certainly won’t be our last . Day 1 of this newly refurbished gem and it was running like clockwork . What can I say about the pizza . It was the best vegetarian pizza I have ever eaten we watched the dough being stretched before adding all fresh ingredients , I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say it was 17 inches + . Our Grandaughter couldn’t make her mind up . So she asked could she have a half and half . The staff and manager were so accommodating. Considering they were busy service was fast and attention to detail was spot on . We will be back . Straight after lunch we went to the mini golf and had a wonderful afternoon on the 18 hole course .

I visited Popty Pizza for the first time since its reopening on Thursday evening, and I left sorely disappointed. For years, this was a reliable favourite of ours, a place we returned to a couple of times each month, consistently impressed. Sadly, what once felt authentic and dependable has been replaced by something that feels both diminished and gimmicky. The first impression is the exterior. It’s clear that most of the energy has been poured into the new mini golf course, but the result is bleak. The entire space has been painted dark grey, set against black tarmac, with the occasional flash of yellow attempting, unsuccessfully, to brighten the scene. Instead of playful or inviting, it feels cheap and themed a bit like The Smiler at Alton Towers. The mini golf course itself is equally uninspired, plain picket fencing, astro-turfed arches, and a scattering of flowers that do little to disguise the monotony. I understand it’s not meant to be “crazy golf,” but when something is marketed as a family attraction, a touch of imagination wouldn’t go amiss. The food, unfortunately, continued the theme of disappointment. We ordered a couple of pizzas to take away and were told there were no pizza boxes, understandable as they were closing in about 25 minutes, but still not ideal. We were given foil to get them home which was okay, but it set the tone for what followed. The pepperoni with hot honey and ricotta arrived quite undercooked, a shame as the toppings were lovely. The Moroccan-inspired pizza, with lamb and ’nduja, swung in the opposite direction, it was overcooked and so bland it was it really didn’t taste of anything at all. At £16 for the hot honey option, the pricing is baffling, it’s more expensive than an authentic Italian pizza of similar size in central London. The website poses major issues. While clearly redesigned, it does not work. Accessibility issues on the front page (white text over images) made the first thing you see unreadable. Popty Pizza itself is buried within the navigation of Golf Môn as the homepage and menus prioritise a portrait of . I personally think they should be different websites. For non-Welsh speakers, the dropdown option labelled simply “Popty” offers little clarity, and once you do click through, the page is useless. The menu is reduced to two pizzas on a broken scroller, with no information about the restaurant itself. Overall, what was once a gem in Llangefni has been stripped of its charm. The food quality has slipped, the atmosphere feels contrived, and the focus has shifted from serving excellent pizza to pushing a half-hearted leisure gimmick. It’s a disappointing transformation, and a sad gentrification.

The best pizza base I can remember; risen for 24hrs before cooking. Italian tomatoes (and I suspect Italian pepperoni) shouted quality. As good as any pizza I have eaten in Naples. Service was ok (perhaps slightly unaware), atmosphere was relaxed and informal. I am only visiting; I wish they were in Haslemere, Surrey!

Today, me and a friend decided to visit the new 'Popty Pizza' Restaurant here in Llangefni, Anglesey. Overall, it was a really nice experience, with delicious pizzas and very helpful and friendly staff. We also liked the overall decor, music being played and the ambience of this restaurant. For my main meal I ordered a lovely tasting: Classic Margherita Pizza (£8.50), and my friend ordered the Ring of Fire Pizza (£11.50). We drank a Pepsi Cola and an Orange Juice too. I was delighted with and would highly recommend the Classic Margherita Pizza, with its very tasty cheese and tomato combination! :) So don't miss out! Why not give Popty Pizza a try? We will be going back for sure. Thank-you. :)

I’m sorry, but £14 for a plain basic Margheritta pizza is absurd! £30 for two pizza’s is a little expensive when last year i’m sure it was £9.50 for the Margheritta alone. The pizza was lovely, but definitely not worth £14. I’d say a fair price to charge would be £10-11.

Tasty pizzas at a friendly and informal restaurant. Friendly staff and we were made to feel very welcome. The garlic bread was excellent, but the tomato puree on the pizzas had made the bases go a little soggy so the toppings slid off if we picked up a slice (solved by use of cutlery.). That said, I'd happily go back if we're in the vicinity in the future.

Hands down the best kebab I've had in Bangor so far. The mixed keema or peshawari naan kebab with garlic mayo is what makes it stand out. The chips (French fries style) on the side goes well They serve curries, I've yet to try but I do want to try that next time I go.

It just wasn't for me. Döner meat seasoning was overpowering and the very watery and very sweet yogurt mint sauce is such an unusual thing. Never tasted anything like that. Staff was very friendly, waiting time wasn't too bad either and the place looked really clean, but I'm afraid i won't go back.

This place was busy which made me think I made the right choice in having my dinner from here. Food was really good. Donner kebab had a great taste. Wow, what a stunning mixed kebab wow. Was so shocked on this place as wasnt ready for the taste of the chicken! Cooked to perfection and the chilli sauce best I've ever had! A soild 8 out of 10! Chips was abit standard and average taste! They let the meal down.

Fantastic little fish and chip shop. This will now be my fave local in Bangor. The service was amazing, friendly and quick. The fish was battered to perfection and the chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. They were very accommodating as they fried my chips separately (I’m a Muslim and can’t have non halal). I will be visiting again!

A fantastic chippy, the fish was perfect. The batter wasn't too thick. It was just the perfect amount. Light and crispy, not greasy or oily even though it had just been freshly cooked, piping hot. The chips are proper homemade chips and they were delicious. The portions are huge, the fish were very big so go with an empty belly. The staff are lovely also, they apologised for the small wait we had for our freshly cooked cod. I would recommend a visit there if passing or anywhere near Bangor.

On the way home from Caernarfon to Preston. Looked for a good chippy, found Oh My Cod on Google and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the fish and chips twice, and a chicken nugget and chips. Got absolutely loads and couldn't get over the portion sizes. Everything cooked perfectly, in clean and fresh oil. The fish was my particular my favourite, lovely and crispy batter. The price of everything was very low, but the standard of the food is extremely high. Really wish this chippy was closer to home, but when over this way again, we'll definitely be coming back to this chippy.

We enjoyed a fabulous take away during our holiday after a day at the beach. We ordered our food before collecting it and it was all ready when we arrived at the time we said we were collecting it. The food was very good, we had fish, chips and scollops.

Down from London for the weekend and randomly tried Bella House — didn’t expect it to be this good! The kebab was loaded, the pizza was loaded, and it’s all halal too. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Bangor.

Just bought a delicious crepe, salami, feta, fried onion and ketchup, i absolutely love the places they have such a wide selection of ingredients and the owner’s their are lovely.

Absolutely wonderful place for breakfast. I love the savoury options. And to be honest, considering how reasonably priced they are, I can't complain. The bad reviews are from people that expect to be greeted with big smiles etc... but end of the day, none of the owners are rude. They are perfectly polite and to the point. It isn't a restaurant, it is more of a takeaway so I'm unsure of what people expect!

Coffee and crepes were excellent here! A generous portion size and a lot of very good options. Thoroughly recommend going on an empty stomach or ordering one to share.

Subways are nice food outlets, but like everywhere else, their prices have gone up, and restrictions have been made to certain meal deals, by way of particular toppings and sauces that you can only have. The average 'foot long' meal deal, sets you back almost £10.00. If you are a family of four, with two kids and a hungry mum & dad, then it's going to cost you over £30.00 to have lunch there.

Very good staff when I've gone most days when quiet been gluten free not by choice I visit when no one is around. On one occasion I was told they leave gluten free till last when busy which I thought was abit odd but bieng a chef in the past I can understand the risks . But still I've always had positive visit in Bangor

Staff are very inappropiate saying they want to kill themselves whilst on shift and constantly complaining and slagging customers off as soon as they leave , very uncomfortable experience. Massive off put as all they do is smoke and then handle the food, honestly dont understand why people are in the job if they can't/don't want to do it step aside and let someone proffesional and hygienic take it instead🙄if there was a choice for zero stars i would happily of chose that!!

We all know what to expect at a subway! Lots of different filling choices, fresh baked bread at reasonable prices. Here's no different - quick, friendly service with only 3 in the shop at any one time.

Asked for a regular coffee as advertised on the menu at £1.69. Served with coffee and asked for £2.15. When queiried the young lady said "that's what comes up on the till". I suggested she charged the correct amount as on the menu on the wall but she couldn't. Left the coffee on the counter and got a coffee at McDonald's where I normally go. Misleading advertising.?

You have just lost 2 customers because of the lady from the cash desk. We went inside with fries and she was very rude to us telling us to go eat outside. The problem was her ATTITUDE AND HER SUPERIOR TONE. She should have been a little more friendly considering that we didn't know that we can't bring food inside. She was almost barking🖕🏼

Rude. 1st February 11.50am, gentleman who was working talked to me like I was some foreign alien and couldn’t even be bothered waiting for my girlfriend to choose which bread. When ordering salad, the young girl working was trying to make me pay then, and I couldn’t do 2 things At once, while they also argue among each other. She was obviously winding him up all shift. Don’t even get offered a carrier bag and try getting charged when asked for one, to which I’m told can’t put 5p on my card. Not coming here ever again, after plenty of successful trips. I live on top of kfc, lost a loyal returning customer there

You will not be disappointed I mean it! Everything was supreme, the roasted beef, the wrapped shrimps, the duck. Excellent value for price, even the black pepper sauce was brilliant. I didn’t know what to choose so here is what I did, maybe it works for you too, you don’t need to know the name of the dishes, I didn't. Call and tell them what you want (e.g., beef, noodle, roasted beed, chicken, duck, mushroom, etc.). Then ask for sauce recommendation and for sides (I liked the plain rice, went well with the roasted beef).!

Food is so excellent!!! I have been coming here for the past few months and I often find myself always running back to get even more yummy food!!!! The service is lovely the young lady who’s at the till is always full of light and the food is far more better than any other takeaway that I’ve been to!!! Could not recommend enough!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience in the hope that it leads to improvements. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing takeaways I've had. The food was but mid, and the quality was far below expectations. Some were overly greasy and tasted stale. Portion sizes were small compared to the price, and it simply did not feel fresh or well-prepared. Customer service also left much to be desired- The young lady, who I heard overtalking, being very fatphobic, which I found overly disappointing. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this experience felt careless from start to finish. I won’t be ordering again, and I hope the management takes this kind of feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes.

Tried ordering food with the kids last night, they were inthe car.. I ordered chicken balls with fried rice amd a few more things. The man said “arent you too big to order that much by yourself” when i was adding more food on the list. I stayed silent but id like to share this with you. Ive been struggling with my seelf image and body image for years and when i thought i accepted myself, this experience set me back.

Mixed feelings. The food was good, hot and reasonable, the self service system was a shambles, 2 of the 4 terminals were locked up and non functional, and placing the order at the counter was hard, the staff member struggled to understand us, and the menu screens above the counter kept switching so even showing him what we were talking about was not easy, we nearly gave up and walked out in frustration,

Food was good, but absolutely all tables were dirty, tissues and rests of food on the floor. Same with outside tables and the bin overflowing. Looks like no one in charge with cleaning.

Sally was superb. She was very patient and extremely helpful and I understood the products extremely well. She is so pleasant also.

Rutuja served us and she delivered our food with a smile. We had table service and didnt have to wait that long. The toilets were also impeccable and we sat in the sunny spot , great location

Asked for a chicken donor kebab with chips and received a small box with chips on the bottom topped up with chicken donor meat, didn't even put it in a naan bread which was given on the side and totalled £9 which was unbelievably high for what was ordered. Also asked for a zinger chicken burger with chips and the bottom bun was completely soggy and the chicken tasted bad. Asked for a cheese slice on the burger and I was told it was £1 per cheese single. 15 CHEESE SINGLES COST LESS THAN A £1 IN THE SHOPS! We ordered in the early afternoon so its not like there was a rush leading to miscommunication, we felt very robbed by this place and won't be returning.

Check prices and how much you are charged. Was charged £14 for a chicken wrap and popcorn chicken. Didn’t realise the overpayment until I noticed when I was about to order on just eat (initially ordered in store) and seen the price difference. I used to use these regularly but never again. I think in Bangor this is the only decent takeaway. The food was good. Pizza is popular. Many variety of Chicken rolls and burger. We stayed in Bangor 3 nights and twice we have eaten her.

Always manage to miss something from my order, I’m convinced it’s intentional. Cash only which is a little irritating.

This place never changes (been going since school lunch break when i was 11), am now 38 living in Worcestershire and still return to my old haunt. Great value, speedy service and amazing food. Love the family xx

As of today I used to eat here occasionally and the food was always pleasant but after today I will never eat there again. The food was vile, completely inedible. The sweet and sour chicken balls were overcooked batter with either a tiny overcooked bit of chicken or none at all and all completely dry. The noodles I ordered were undercooked and again, inedible. It was single handedly the worst take-away food I have ever eaten. I will never eat there again. If your feeling lucky, take a gamble and order away. When the food is good, it's okay, when it's bad, it's disgusting.

My husband bought sweet and sour chicken. We could not eat it. Greasy giant chicken nuggets, no vegetables. Terrible quality. Terrible value for money. Will not go again.

As others have said its always a reliable and cheap takeaway. Quick service and known as the best Chinese food in upper Bangor! Recommend crispy chilli beef and the salt and pepper chips.

Place is dirty. The guy doesn't speak english. Food is awful. I ordered food in there and I had terrible stomachache after eaten it. Usually there is dru nk students go in and cause problem. Not recommended if u want a safe place to have food.

Ordered two pizzas for myself and the partner. I ordered a pepperoni plus with extra toppings (salami and olives) and donner kebab pizza with an extra topping of jalapeños. There were no extra added toppings and the mushrooms were missing from the pepperoni plus. This isn't the first time. There is often false advertisement, they don't have half the toppings but will claim to give you extra of something (which they do not) and still charge you full price. When my partner called about the mistake the staff member made no effort to amend this and was incredibly rude. This used to be a really great pizza place, but since having new management the place has gone to shit.

Food tastes great, but they got my order wrong when I went there. The wait is also pretty good, I wasn't there for any longer than 10 minutes. I've only been there once, so maybe they usually get the order perfect but just didn't hear me that one time. Also pretty cheap and there are seats in the store

Just had a pizza from KEBABY in Bangor, and honestly, it was a game-changer. They're the only takeaway in town with a proper pizza machine, and it really shows in the quality. The base was perfectly cooked – crisp on the outside, soft on the inside – and the toppings were fresh and loaded with flavour. I went for the pepperoni, and it came out hot, cheesy, and just the right amount of greasy (the good kind!). You can tell it's made fresh, not like those frozen ones some places pass off as pizza. If you're in Bangor and craving a proper pizza, KEBABY is the only place I'd recommend. Definitely coming back!

Let me down with pizzas again Missing a lot of toppings (jelapenos, olives mushrooms ect) from the pizzas so don't bother ordering you'll get half of em and they won't ask you for replacements they'll just skip it Need to find a better pizza place for future orders

9.8.2022 went there late in the night, place looked to me very clean,,, but only one bloke there behind counter on his own??? Poor bloke was rushed off his feet but still had time to be nice and had a smile on his face at the same time,,, had a kaybap for £6 and it was very nice indeed for the price,,, but please get more staff as for team work it takes a team to do it not just one bloke like this bloke all by himself,,, knowing he did a very good job,,, great place,,,, great food,,, great prices,, GET MORE STAFF

Service is fairly fast, but other than that there's not much going for this place. £2.50 cheesy chips which had virtually no cheese as you can see in the picture. Food hygiene rating of 2 also, so not interested in going here at all, much prefer other takeaways in Bangor

Good size portion and food was nice. Fast service. They give you cutlery to eat in and condiments on the table. Well lit environment and warm temperature. Large menu displayed on the wall. There is a ramp for wheelchair users. They have facility to pay contactless or order online and options to takeaway.

really nice staff, but the naan bread is stuffed with chips and meat a rather small amount of meat more chip bap than kebab for the price. the naan bread tasted like it was dipped in garlic kinda like asda own brand naan bread they just covered it in garlic tasted like 4 cloves at least. but without warning in the menu or a choice to have it plane. The menu gives you no idea of what you are ordering. There's no description or pictures we all eat with our eyes, but there's nothing to see. cans of drink no glasses it was clean and tidy the staff were polite food was nice served quick. Wheel chair friendly, it was overpriced. Any takeaway would have gotten you more food for your money and to the owners. What's a Gyro? What do you get if you order it or anything else on the small menu

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat on a Friday evening. The food and the flavours were amazing, the service was great and I would highly recommend a visit.

We had lunch here, it was very quiet, with only us there initially. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. Greek music playing creating a lovely atmosphere. The food and service were great. We had Gyros with chicken and our individual requests were accommodated. Definitely reccomend this restaurant, and we will return.
