I wasn't impressed with the shrimp tacos or the price. I obviously ordered the wrong thing as I left hungry after eating 2 kid size tacos. The atmosphere was on the younger side but clean inside along with clean bathrooms. I would try another food option in the area as there were other places with local dishes of vegetables and meats.

Had a draught beer at 6 Euro served in a goblet - probably 300 ml if lucky - wine by the glass at 5 Euro probably about a third full - just a shoulder shrug when asked - average food - skip the drinks here 😕

We stopped by Peschef in Trani on a hot day, and it turned out to be a bit of a mixed experience. The good news is that the service was nice and we were lucky enough to grab a table with a great breeze, which was a huge relief from the heat. As for the food, the menu had some fantastic highlights and a few misses. The paninis were absolutely great—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect choice for a casual lunch. However, we also tried a couple of their poke bowls, and we found them to be quite expensive and, unfortunately, not really worth it. While they had a special with salmon and tuna, the pokes just didn't live up to the price tag. So, while Peschef offers a great atmosphere and some really delicious paninis, it seems like you have to be careful with your order. It’s a wonderful spot to grab a simple and tasty lunch and enjoy the nice breeze, just be mindful of the more expensive items on the menu.

The salad looked good and had amazing ingredients at the top. The problem is that the actual ingredients only constitue about 10% of the salad. The rest is only chopped iceberg lettuce. That’s not how a salad should be, but I understand that Italy is not exactly the place that specializes in salads. The staff seemed a little bored and unphased. The spitz on the other hand was very good, so was the fish and chips. Nice atmosphere.

The friselle topped with tender octopus in a spice-packed tomato sauce were divine! Sadly, the salmon tartar fell flat as it was void of any seasoning and the accompanying mango salsa was too little to provide the required flavor.

We’re staying in Barletta — Trani is just 10 minutes away by train for us. Today we had planned a walk around this historic little town and decided to finish our evening with dinner at Pescaria. We started with a trio of sashimi featuring incredibly fresh tuna, amberjack, and salmon. The fish was super fresh and simply melted in the mouth. I was glad they had balsamic sauce on the table — it complemented the flavor of the fish perfectly. For our mains, my wife and I ordered two panini: one was a tuna tartare sandwich, which, as it turns out, was voted the best sandwich in Italy for two years in a row by TimeOut magazine. All I can say is — the sandwich was truly divine. I always thought tartare was finely chopped meat or fish. But here, the pieces were large and juicy, and together with the sauce and veggies, the sandwich was absolutely superb. The second panino was created by Peppe Guida, a renowned Michelin-starred Italian chef, featuring calamari, pumpkin in oil, and buffalo ricotta — absolutely delicious! Of course, my wife and I split both sandwiches in half so we could try everything. I asked her afterward which one she liked best, and honestly, she couldn’t decide. Our third dish was a plate of fried seafood — king prawns, baby octopus, and calamari. Usually, I’m not a fan of battered food because the coating often masks the true taste of the product. But that wasn’t the case here. Everything was exquisite! All of this was enjoyed with a glass of sparkling rosé. As for the prices — the place positions itself as fast food. However, the prices are definitely higher than what you’d expect at a typical fast-food spot. But it’s also true that very few restaurants serve sandwiches and dishes of this quality. So in my opinion, the mprices are justified. We’ll definitely be coming back to this place again. We had a great meal on the first evening of our holiday here. The octopus roll was great! The prawn salad was fresh and really filling. Staff were very helpful and patient with my order in English, drinks were cold, design was modern and clean. There was nothing that we tried and didn’t like!

Pizza was really delicious! With couple of tables inside and several outside, it is one of the best options for a quick, but authentic and tasteful meal. The owner was just great and made all the effort to understand my limited Italian (they also speak English) :)

thank you for not letting us now that I would wait for one goddamn bowl of food for 1,5hours! Customer service was the worst ive ever seen, she was rude and slow as hell. Never comming back, you should not EVER try! The food was not even worth it and all we got was employee shouting at all the customers whose asked why is the service so slow. Even saw the spit they gave in the food after we told them that if we knew we would wait 1,5 hours we wouldnt order and the lady started mocking me and speaking Italian back to me like she couldnt understand, this restaurant/FAST FOOD ruined my day. THE WORST!!!!!!

Love this place in Trani. Real locals pizzeria and the Pizza is to die for with a very thin and crusty base. The toppings taste so good and you can even get 1L of wine for 8 Euros. Would definitely if you are staying in the local area.

His pizzas have quite a bit of moisture but they are to be eaten right away. They cook super fast as well. 1 pizza is perfect for one hungry person. Always did take away with a 2 minute walk to my room, and the pizza is still warm. I would recommend eating it as soon as you can. Perfect. Grazie!
